0:12that I'll be speaking. But I want you to
0:15to listen carefully to what we're going
0:16to talk about about the media.
0:19Now,
0:21let's talk about the nature of the
0:22media.
0:24And please keep my focus up there,
0:26please. I'd appreciate it cuz I'm going
0:27to stay with the board.
0:29I want you to write as fast as you can.
0:31I I can't tell you how important this
0:32session is.
0:35For your children, for your
0:36grandchildren,
0:38and for you.
0:40First of all,
0:42there's some principles I want you to
0:44write down first. The first one is that
0:46there's nothing on earth as powerful as
0:49the human will.
0:51Nothing more powerful than that. Matter
0:52of fact, the human will is so powerful
0:54that God himself does not control it.
1:02I want you to remember that. There's one
1:03thing that God does not control on
1:05earth, and it's the human will. Why?
1:08Because the very nature of will
1:12implies self-control.
1:14God gave you the power
1:16of will.
1:18Number two, the will controls the
1:20destiny of man.
1:24Your will is the agency of God's kingdom
1:27administration. When God establishes
1:29kingdom on earth, he wanted it to be
1:31administered through your will.
1:34The problem is your will
1:36is yours.
1:39The most dangerous gift God ever gave
1:41man was a will.
1:45And the most precious gift God ever gave
1:47man
1:48was a will.
1:49It's dangerous and it's precious. It's
1:51precious because God gave you the same
1:53power that he possesses, the power of
1:56will. But it's dangerous because you
1:58also have the ability to choose against
2:00God.
2:02And that's how dangerous a will is.
2:05God intended to use the will of man to
2:08fulfill his will on earth.
2:11So God wanted you to use your will for
2:13his will.
2:14The only problem is a will gives you the
2:17power to choose even against the will of
2:20the one who gave you the will.
2:24I want you to follow this thinking now.
2:26Number three, the seat of the will is
2:29the conscious and the subconscious mind.
2:32That's where the will lives. It lives in
2:35the heart.
2:37Your heart is your subconscious mind,
2:39and your subconscious mind is the seat
2:41of control for your life.
2:44Now, you got two minds, in case you
2:45don't know. You got a conscious mind and
2:48a subconscious mind. Sub means below. So
2:50you got a mind that is always conscious,
2:53but then you got a mind beneath that
2:55that is
2:56not always conscious, but it's deeper
2:58and more important than your conscious
2:59mind.
3:00And your conscious mind feeds your
3:03subconscious mind information.
3:06And the more your conscious mind hears
3:08something,
3:09it feeds it to the subconscious mind.
3:12That is why repetition is dangerous.
3:14Repetition constantly
3:17goes to your conscious mind. But the
3:19more your conscious mind hears
3:21something, it begins to deposit it, or
3:23can I use the technical term, it
3:25downloads it
3:27to your subconscious mind. Now, you are
3:29safe
3:31as long as something is in your
3:32conscious mind. You're still safe.
3:35Cuz you can forget what's in your
3:37conscious mind.
3:39But the key is to get it to your
3:41subconscious mind. Once it gets there,
3:44then you are in trouble. Why? Because
3:47the mind is the center of thought, and
3:50it holds the key to life. Now, when I
3:52use the word mind, another statement to
3:53write down,
3:55as a man thinketh, so is he. We all know
3:57that, but please quote it properly. As a
4:00man thinketh where?
4:02In his heart.
4:05There are two thinkings. There's a
4:07think, and there's a heart think.
4:09Now, the word heart here is a Hebrew
4:12word referring to the subconscious mind.
4:16That's the one below.
4:18Solomon says, you are whatever is in
4:22your subconscious mind.
4:24Your subconscious mind is your heart.
4:28Your subconscious mind is your heart.
4:31Your subconscious mind is your heart.
4:35Whoever controls your heart controls
4:39your life.
4:40Whoever can get enough information into
4:43your subconscious mind will control you.
4:45Cuz as a man thinketh in his heart,
4:48that's the man. So if you want to
4:50control the man, all you've got to do is
4:52control his heart. And how do you
4:54control his heart? First, you work on
4:56the conscious mind first, and you keep
4:58repeating, repeating, repeating, and
5:00repeating until the conscious mind
5:02deposits it in the heart. And now you're
5:04in trouble.
5:06That is why some of you are having
5:08problems with battles of things you try
5:10to change, and you can't change them.
5:13Old habits that you were keeping for the
5:15last 20 years, and now you want to
5:16change, and it's tough to change.
5:19Young people, that is why
5:22God tells you to stay away from evil
5:24things.
5:25If you keep watching pornography, you
5:27keep reading dirty books, you keep
5:29listening to the bad stories or or dirty
5:31jokes, and if you keep listening Now,
5:33THE FIRST TIME you see it, it doesn't
5:34bother you. But if you keep seeing it,
5:37it becomes downloaded.
5:39Now, once something is downloaded on
5:41your hard drive, what happens? Even when
5:43you are not conscious of it, it is still
5:45running.
5:47And all you got to do is PRESS THE RIGHT
5:48BUTTON, AND you see all the pictures in
5:49color.
5:53That's why the Bible says, take heed
5:54what you hear. Why? If you don't control
5:57what comes into your subconscious mind,
5:59it will soon become a part of your
6:01subconscious mind, and it's in your
6:02heart. And the Bible says, out of the
6:04heart what? The mouth really speaks. It
6:06says, out of the heart comes what? The
6:08issues of life. And Jesus said, "From
6:10whence comes murders and lust and
6:12adultery?" He says, "They are coming
6:13from the heart."
6:18Everybody say the mind.
6:20Write this down, please. The mind is
6:22defined as the heart.
6:25It determines the future and destiny of
6:28a man.
6:30I guess what I'm saying today is you
6:34are a sum total of the choices you make
6:36every day,
6:37and whatever you decide to hear and see
6:41and listen to constantly will become
6:43your future.
6:45You become what you continually hearing.
6:47You become what you continually seeing.
6:50That's as simple as life is.
6:54Some of you are still plagued with
6:55habits that you've been trying to break,
6:57and I know I've been dealing with people
7:00in counseling, and they say, "I've been
7:01born again for 20 years, and I'm still
7:03struggling." And the answer is you've
7:06downloaded some stuff that is still
7:08there.
7:10Now, how do you clean a hard drive?
7:13That's the issue, you computer buffs.
7:16How do YOU CLEAN A HARD DRIVE OF STUFF
7:18that's been downloaded?
7:20Boy, that's a tough thing to do.
7:22Sometime you got to buy a whole new
7:23computer.
7:25Cuz you can't get it off. Everybody say
7:27born all over again.
7:29Or or what you got to do is you've got
7:32to buy another program
7:34that literally cleans it out. THAT'S
7:37WHAT THE HOLY GHOST IS. HOLY GHOST IS
7:38GOD'S
7:39SOFTWARE.
7:41GLORY. HALLELUJAH.
7:43And the material is THE WORD OF GOD. AND
7:46THE SOFTWARE TAKES THE MATERIAL, and
7:48you're supposed TO CONSTANTLY KEEP
7:50HEARING AND HEARING AND HEARING the word
7:52of God until it drowns out what was
7:55there for 20 years. That's the only way
7:56to do it.
8:01Now,
8:02it's really a battle for the soul.
8:05Let's talk about the soul, the mind.
8:07Write this down quickly. The mind is the
8:09center of the soul.

8:13The soul is an integration of three
8:15parts. Please write this down.
8:17The soul is the integration of the mind,
8:19the will, and the emotions.
8:22In other words, those three things make
8:23up your soul. What is your soul? Your
8:25mind, your will, and your emotions. What
8:28is your soul? Your mind, your will. Come
8:31on, everybody say, "What is your soul?"
8:33Your mind, your will, and your emotions.
8:36All of them make up your soul.
8:39So your feelings are in your soul.
8:43Your decision-making power is in your
8:45soul.
8:47And your mind, your thinking bank, is in
8:50your soul.
8:51That makes your soul the most important
8:53part of your life. Let me explain why.
8:55The battle in life is for the soul of
8:57man.
9:01The Bible says, "He that winneth souls
9:03is wise." Now, why did Jesus say that?
9:06You see, winning a body
9:08is no problem.
9:10Even winning a spirit is easy. You get
9:12born again in seconds, but winning YOUR
9:14SOUL IS A TOUGH JOB.
9:17MY JOB AS A teacher
9:20and a communicator is to work on your
9:22soul. I am after your soul. I want to
9:24win your soul. I already won your body
9:27cuz you're here,
9:28and I already won your spirit because
9:30you want to find God. BUT WINNING YOUR
9:31SOUL IS A TOUGHER JOB.
9:34Cuz winning your soul takes a longer
9:36time than winning your body and your
9:38spirit.
9:39You are born again in a second, but
9:41trying to get you converted is a tough
9:43job.
9:45So the battle is for what?
9:47Your soul. The soul of the people, the
9:50soul of the nation, the soul of your
9:52children, the soul of your spouse, THE
9:54SOUL OF YOUR ENTIRE JOB. YOUR SOUL IS IN
9:57TROUBLE.
9:59The attack is against your soul.
10:02I want you to get this message. Write
10:04this down. The soul is the first
10:06component of media created by God.
10:10Why is the soul the first component of
10:12media?
10:13Now, this is new stuff for you, so you
10:14got to think about this.
10:17The soul is a media because the soul
10:22is the mediator between the spirit and
10:24the body.
10:28The soul is the most dangerous part of
10:30your life. Matter of fact, your spirit
10:32is not your problem.
10:34Cuz you are a spirit.
10:36But your soul is your problem because
10:38your soul is the one that dictates what
10:41your spirit receives.
10:45Don't miss this.
10:47I know the devil is in the Bahamas
10:48today.
10:50Cuz if I was him, I'd come to this
10:52meeting myself and sit up front.

10:55You sit right there and listen to me

11:00Because the devil knows that I got the
11:02key to his battle.
11:07The devil ain't after your body.
11:11Your body is just a bunch of dirt.
11:14A lump of dirt.
11:16He ain't after your spirit because your
11:17spirit is already filled with someone.
11:21But there's a a key component that HE
11:23CAN STILL MANIPULATE.
11:27What is your soul? Your mind, your will,
11:30your emotions.
11:32And the soul is the media between the
11:34spirit and the body. Now,
11:36write this down. The soul receives from
11:39the senses and deposits in the spirit.
11:43Very important.
11:45What does the soul do? It receives from
11:47the senses. In other words, hearing,
11:49tasting, seeing, touching, and feeling
11:53all come through the senses, but they
11:55all go to the soul. They go to your
11:57mind, your will, and your emotions. So,
11:59whatever you see, touch, taste, feel, or
12:01hear goes to your soul. Now, if your
12:04soul takes it
12:06and deposit into you, which is your
12:08spirit,
12:09then you got to make sure regulate what
12:11the soul is picking up from the senses.
12:16That's why Jesus said, "Take heed what
12:18you hear."
12:21Take heed means be selective. Regulate
12:24your hearing. Uh choose what you want to
12:26listen to. WHY? HE SAID, "Because it
12:29will it will leaven the whole lump."
12:33My God. It'll mess up your whole life.
12:38Your soul receives from the senses and
12:41deposits in your spirit. But here's the
12:43other side. It's a little bit difficult
12:44now. The spirit reveals through the soul
12:47to the body. Now, here's a problem.

12:54to stand up here.
12:55I got to do this visually so everybody

14:00Now, your body is getting information
14:03from what it sees, what it hears, what
14:06it tastes, what it touches, what it
14:08feels, and it takes it and transmits it
14:11to the soul. The soul then takes it and
14:16gives it to your spirit.
14:20All right? AND WHEN THE SPIRIT GETS THAT
14:22INFORMATION from the soul that it got
14:25from the body, the spirit now has to
14:27deal with this information.
14:35Problem.
14:40ONCE THE SPIRIT GET ALL THIS INFORMATION
14:42inside of it, when the spirit wants the
14:45body to something, who does the spirit
14:46talk to?
14:48The soul. So, the spirit gives the the
14:50directions to the soul and tells the
14:52body what to do.
14:56Now, you got A COUPLE OF PROBLEMS HERE.
14:58SOMETIMES THE BODY DON'T want to do what
15:00the spirit wants it to do, so the soul
15:03is in a battle.
15:09It's what you call a mental battle.
15:11A battle of the soul. So,
15:13your spirit says,
15:15"The information that I got from the
15:16body is unrighteous."
15:19And the soul says, "But that's all the
15:21body gave me."
15:25The soul cannot give the body
15:28or the spirit, rather, what the body
15:30didn't receive.
15:36Faith comes by what? Hearing. And you
15:38hear through what? The body. SO, THE
15:40BODY HEARS SOMETHING,
15:42the soul takes it,
15:44believes it, and gives it to the spirit.
15:46NOW, THE SPIRIT RECEIVES and conceives
15:48it.
15:51If your spirit has the spirit of God in
15:52it,
15:53it's not a spirit that's missing there.
15:55It's on the inside, the spirit. That
15:56spirit disagrees with what the spirit
15:58just received. And the spirit of God
16:00says, "Now, that is not righteous
16:02information." So, the spirit of the man
16:05tells the soul of the man, "That is not
16:07righteous. Tell the body that is not
16:09righteous. Tell the body to change
16:11source of information."
16:16Body says, "No, I like how it feels.
16:20SOUL, COME ON, FEEL IT." AND SO, the
16:22soul feel it from the body.
16:25AND THE SOUL SAID, "THAT FEEL OKAY." AND
16:27THE SPIRIT SAYS, "BUT IT AIN'T RIGHT."
16:32SO, THE SPIRIT SAYS, "SOUL, TELL the
16:34body stop it."
16:36Body say, "Feels sensually good. DON'T
16:40YOU LIKE IT, SOUL?" And soul said, "Mhm,
16:44I know it's wrong, but it feels
16:47emotionally good."
16:52And so, the spirit loses.
16:58And now the spirit is downloading junk
17:02that's starving it to death.
17:07You know who's the most important part
17:08of that whole trinity?
17:10It's that soul fella.
17:12That soul. Cuz that soul could decide to
17:15reject or accept.
17:20The power of the soul.
17:21So, the soul
17:23takes from the body, gives to the
17:25spirit, but the spirit also takes from
17:27the spirit and gives to the soul for the
17:29body. So, the body can only do what the
17:31soul makes it do, and the soul can only
17:34do what it accepts from the spirit.
17:36That's why the Bible says, "Do not WALK
17:38IN THE FLESH,
17:41BUT WALK IN WHAT? THE SPIRIT, and you
17:43not fulfill the lust
17:47of the flesh."
17:53Thank you very much, old man. All of
17:55that is man. Thank you very much. By the
17:57way, you know there's a female in the

18:00Praise God. Write this down. The soul
18:02feeds the spirit and receives from the
18:05spirit.
18:07This is a mystery. The soul feeds the
18:09spirit, but it also feeds
18:12the body through the spirit, through the
18:14soul, rather. And it's very important

19:03replacement of habits.

19:18Number one, man is a spirit, he lives in
19:19a body, he possesses a soul. That's what
19:21man is. Man is a spirit, he lives in a
19:23body, he possesses a soul. Say it with
19:25me. Man lives in Man is a spirit, he
19:29lives in a body, but he possesses a
19:31soul. That's the unity trinity of man.
19:34Whoever controls the soul rules the man.
19:36That's it. That's the point. The
19:38original purpose of God, therefore, was
19:40to rule the seen world from the unseen
19:43world through the unseen man living in
19:45the seen body on the scene. Get it?
19:49In other words, God wanted to control
19:50the world through you, but he wanted to
19:52do it from the unseen world. And he
19:55wanted to do it through your unseen
19:56spirit living in your seen physical
19:59body.
20:01And he wanted to do that on the seen
20:02Earth so that his will, which is
20:04invisible, could be seen visibly through
20:06your actions and through your execution.
20:09So, God wanted to rule the world through
20:11you
20:12but all coming to the world.
20:14By your by and through your spirit. The
20:17soul is God's media for kingdom
20:19rulership. It's very important to
20:20understand this. God wants to rule the
20:22world through your soul.
20:25That's why the Bible says
20:29I wish above all things that you
20:31prosper.
20:35Notice the focus even as your soul
20:39prospers. God places the number one
20:42prosperity focus on your soul.
20:47If you're not prospering in your soul,
20:49God says, you are poor in every other
20:51area.
20:52So, if you're not getting the right
20:53information, you are actually destroying
20:55your life. Very important.
20:57Write this down, please. The kingdom of
20:59God is a kingdom of the of the soul, the
21:00kingdom of the heart.
21:03If the kingdom doesn't get in your soul,
21:05the kingdom can't get to the Earth.
21:08If the kingdom of God cannot get in your
21:10soul, it cannot get to the Earth.
21:13If it cannot get into your heart, the
21:15Earth will never see the rulership of
21:16God. Rulership begins in the heart.
21:18That's where it is. And until it gets
21:20there, there will be no kingdom
21:21manifestation on the Earth.
21:23The first word of Jesus in his public
21:25ministry, Matthew chapter 4, verse 17,
21:27it says, "And Jesus began to preach,
21:30repent." The word repent means what? To
21:32change your mind. Where's your mind? In
21:34your soul. His first attention was given
21:37to the soul. "If I can get your soul
21:39changed," he says, "then the kingdom can
21:40come from heaven on Earth."
21:45Now, there's a point I want you to write
21:47down
21:48here, very important point. And that is
21:51the kingdom of darkness is the kingdom
21:52of the
21:53of the soul, also.
21:57God
21:59is battling for your soul.
22:02So is Satan.
22:04That's my point for the whole day.
22:08Satan and God really are not after your
22:11body.

22:21Because whoever controls your soul

22:26I think we become so spooky, we forgot
22:30WHERE THE BATTLE IS.
22:33WE BECOME SO SPIRITUALLY SPOOKY
22:37that we have actually invented demons
22:40that don't exist. And we're fighting
22:43things that aren't there. AND THE REAL
22:45BATTLE WE'RE MISSING.
22:52OH, I was studying the life of Jesus
22:53last night, just going through some of
22:54the thoughts that he expressed, and it's
22:56incredible. I wish I could just teach
22:57this for another 2 hours, but you
22:59couldn't take it. BUT, JESUS IS MIND. HE
23:01WAS ALWAYS GOING AFTER THE MIND.
23:05ALWAYS. HE SAID, "IF YOU HEAR MY
23:06TEACHING, LISTEN TO MY TEACHING. IF YOU
23:08FOLLOW MY WORD, LISTEN TO MY WORD." HE
23:09SAID, "MY WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND THEY GIVE
23:11YOU LIFE." HE'S TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING
23:13THROUGH YOUR SOUL. "IF I CAN GET YOUR
23:14MIND CHANGED," he says,
23:17you'll be sanctified.
23:20It's a battle for the mind.
23:22So, we got two kingdoms and both are
23:24after your soul.
23:25What is your soul?
23:27Your mind,
23:28your will,
23:29your emotions. What is your soul? Your
23:31mind, your will.
23:33That is why most of you are losing your
23:35battles. Think about it. Let's deal with
23:36the with one of just for a second.
23:38Emotions.
23:40What do you think is making you keep
23:41going back to that situation that you
23:44know is wrong? It's your emotions.
23:48Satan got you, man.
23:50One phone call and your knees get weak.
23:52Emotions. You're going BACK TO THAT
23:54UNGODLY RELATIONSHIP.
23:57The battle is over the minute you feel
23:59your knees getting weak
24:01and you start leaving the house.
24:04And you're DRIVING THERE, AND NO, THE
24:05HOLY GHOST SCREAMING AT YOU SAYING,
24:06"STOP. TURN AROUND. DON'T GO BACK THERE.
24:09HE DON'T LOVE YOU. SHE DON'T LOVE STOP
24:11IT. THEY'RE GOING TO BREAK UP YOUR
24:12MARRIAGE. STOP. STOP." AND YOU'RE STILL
24:13DRIVING.
24:20IT'S A BATTLE.
24:21And the battle doesn't stop because
24:23you're freaking dumb.
24:26You got to grab your body.
24:28Come on, somebody. You said, "Got to
24:29beat my body under." Your body got to
24:31come here, body. You're going back to
24:33prayer meeting or back home to eat.
24:40It's your emotions.
24:42Write this down, please.
24:43Let's talk about what what is the media.
24:44Now, we said the soul is God's media.
24:46Let's talk about media. The word media
24:48The word media is from the word medium.
24:51Write this down, please. It's very
24:52important for every young person and old
24:53person to read. Very important to

25:37THEY WANT TO CONTAIN YOU. THEY WANT TO
25:39CONTROL YOU. AND THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL
25:41ABOUT. IT'S ABOUT THE MEDIA. AND THE
25:43WORD media is from the word medium. It
25:45means to stand between.
25:49In other words, the media is the thing
25:50between the source
25:53and the object.
25:54We showed you an example just now. We
25:56saw the spirit of man and the body of
25:58man. Well, the media is the one in the
26:00middle. That's the one that decides
26:03which receives what.
26:06That's what medium is.
26:08The word media
26:10means to mediate.
26:12Jesus Christ is called the mediator
26:14between God and man. Can I hear amen to

26:22The Bible SAYS THERE'S ONLY ONE medium
26:25between God and man, only one.
26:27And who is that? The man Christ Jesus.
26:30That means if you get information from
26:33anybody else,

26:38To save your soul,
26:40you ain't got the right message.

26:45Christ is not one of the prophets
26:46between God and man.
26:50It says there's only one mediator.

27:21interpret.
27:23When I travel to foreign countries and I
27:26speak to thousands of people in these
27:27big meetings, I speak English, they
27:29speak Portuguese. I speak English, they
27:31speak Russian. I speak English, they
27:33speak French. I speak English, they
27:35speak Spanish. And I'm standing there,
27:37and they put between me and the people
27:40this guy.
27:42Now, I got to hope that this guy

27:50Is telling them what I say.
27:54Not only that, I got to hope he's
27:56understanding himself what I'm saying.
27:59Boy, interpret. That's what media is.
28:02That means the chances of you getting
28:04the wrong message is so high
28:08when the mediator is in question.

28:18is the media mediator, the the
28:20interpreter. Who's the most important in
28:21that whole scenario?

28:25That fellow in the middle. Can you
28:26imagine? As important as I am, he's more
28:28important than me.
28:30AND AS IMPORTANT AS THOSE 10,000 PEOPLE
28:31ARE, HE'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN THEY ARE.
28:33WHY? HE DETERMINES WHAT THEY HEAR. COME
28:37ON, TALK TO ME. WHEN YOU TURN THAT RADIO
28:39ON, THAT TV ON, THAT CD ON, that CD
28:41player on, WHENEVER YOU YOU ARE TAKING A
28:43CHANCE.
28:50When you open A BOOK THAT YOU JUST
28:51BOUGHT, YOU'RE TAKING A CHANCE. YOU GOT
28:52TO PRAY.
28:54GLORY. HALLELUJAH.
28:57And that's why we've been so messed up
28:59in reading the Bible.
29:01Cuz we are the mediator between us and
29:04our understanding.
29:09And we got to depend on our concepts
29:12and hope they're right.
29:14Very important.
29:16Now, write this down. The media controls
29:19the message
29:20and therefore the quality and the
29:22meaning and the essence of the
29:23communication.
29:25The media controls the message. Now, the
29:27source does not control the message.
29:30The source knows what he wants to say,
29:32but the source got to totally depend on
29:34the media to get it right. And if the
29:36media gets it wrong, then the people,
29:39the object of that message, will get it
29:41wrong.
29:47Hallelujah.
29:49That is why we cannot just allow anyone
29:53to preach to the world.
29:59And they're preaching to the world.
30:00Every channel you turn to.
30:10This young man that
30:12is so famous right now.
30:15He's a white boy with blonde hair.
30:16What's his name?
30:19Eminem. He got my name.
30:23This young man, Eminem, is a dangerous
30:25young man.
30:27He's a worship leader.
30:31I saw him leading worship the other
30:33night.
30:34With over 70,000 screaming young kids.
30:38He was leading worship.
30:40I'm not sure which God they were
30:42worshiping, but he they had their hands
30:43raised, and they were going just like
30:45you was going to church, and they were
30:47swaying with him. 70,000 MEN GETTING IT
30:49ON. AND EVERYTHING HE SAID TO THEM TO
30:51DO, THEY DID.
30:53And he was cursing.
30:58Sounds like 50 cents.
31:02These are mediums.
31:07So, what do we do? What do we do? Do we
31:09allow Lavar and and these and call them
31:13to sing or let Eminem sing?
31:15See, you got to decide WHO GOING TO
31:16SING.
31:22SO, SO, CORY SANG HERE THIS MORNING.
31:24SOME of you still ain't figuring out
31:25what he talking about.
31:27But he he dealing with a medium that
31:29ain't for you. Your head TOO OLD FOR
31:30THAT. BUT YOU GOT A 70% OF OUR NATION
31:33THAT UNDERSTANDS WHAT he talking about.

31:38So, what do we do? WE GOT TO MAKE SURE
31:39HE GET THE RIGHT MESSAGE. And I heard my
31:41sermons this morning in that song.
31:46And that's what we need.
31:49Don't criticize the medium.
31:52Check the message he's giving.
31:58Write this down, please. Media can
32:00corrupt, clarify, pervert, or protect
32:02the integrity of a message.
32:05It can do all those things.
32:07It can corrupt it.
32:09It can pervert it, or it can clarify it.
32:14It can protect it.
32:15Or destroy it. The medium is the most
32:18powerful thing
32:20in communication.
32:22Write this down. The media controls what
32:25the receiver hears, thinks, and
32:26understands. Very important. The media
32:28controls that.
32:29And so, we need to make sure that the
32:31medium that we are using is
32:34communicating the right message to the
32:36hearers, because the hearers will get
32:38whatever the media gives them.
32:42We saw a demonstration here this
32:44morning.
32:45I hope you're not offended by what those
32:47people what they showed in the media
32:48presentation. But that's happening every
32:50day on your television.
32:54You ever heard this this TV show called
32:56My Two Dads?
33:00Or you ever heard about Will & Grace?
33:03I mean, Will ain't got no grace. You
33:04know, that that these people need grace.
33:07But this is serious things. And they are
33:09communicating thing I mean, two men
33:11kissing on your TV, and your son
33:13watching it, your daughter watching it.
33:14Two women kissing, and they watching it.
33:16And you sitting there You don't even
33:17know what's going on. Praise the Lord.
33:18PRAISE THE LORD. YOU BETTER CHECK THE
33:20MEDIUM IN YOUR HOUSE.
33:23WHY? IT'S CONTROLLING WHAT YOUR CHILDREN
33:25THINK.
33:31How do you fight that?
33:33What you do is you come on right after
33:34Will & Grace and say, "Hello, this is
33:36Dr. Myles Munroe. We here to correct and
33:38clarify what they just perverted."
33:41Come on, clap loud for me. Praise God.
33:45In other words, YOU DON'T BACK OUT OF
33:47IT. YOU GET IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. YOU GOT
33:49TO FIX IT. YOU GOT TO CORRECT IT. YOU
33:51GOT TO CLARIFY IT. WHY? BIBLE SAYS, "BE
33:54IN THE WORLD. GET IN THERE. DON'T BE A
33:56PART OF IT, BUT BE IN THERE." YOU GOT TO

33:59And boy, that's why they got the price
34:01so high, cuz they don't want you in
34:02there.
34:07They lock you out by finances.
34:10That's why the church
34:12remains poor. The devil ain't worried
34:14about the church. Just keep them poor.
34:16Why? They can't compete with the media
34:18of the mind.
34:23Write this down, please.
34:24God considered mediation as a dangerous
34:26power.
34:27And he warned us against the use and
34:29abuse of it. You know, when I read the
34:31scriptures, I was shocked. God is very
34:33sensitive about mediums.
34:36Why? The thing in the middle is
34:37dangerous.
34:39So, God has a very strong sensitivity to
34:42mediums, to media.
34:44Let me read a couple of scriptures for
34:45you, all right? And you're about to tape
34:47cuz you're taking too long to write.
34:49Praise the Lord. The Bible comments on
34:51the power of the media.
34:53Now, write these scriptures down. Very
34:54important. Leviticus chapter 20, verse
34:5527. It says, "A man or woman who is a
34:58medium or a spiritist among you must be
35:01put what? To death." God said, "Look, if
35:02they are mediating and ain't
35:04representing me, you kill them." Now,
35:06that is a tough law.
35:12God said, "Look, if they prophesy and I
35:13didn't talk to them, kill them." Do you
35:15know what they did to prophets who
35:16didn't prophesy correctly? They stoned
35:18them TO DEATH. IN OTHER WORDS, GOD SAID,
35:19"LOOK, IF
35:21WELL, I CAN'T GET THIS IS DEEP. GOD
35:23SAID, "KILL THE MEDIA THAT'S not
35:25presenting me. Kill them.
35:27Don't put them away. Destroy them."
35:31That's how dangerous the media is to
35:33God.
35:35It's a death sentence.
35:38Oh, the second one is dangerous. Watch
35:39this one. This one is serious.
35:41Deuteronomy 18, verse 10. It says, "Let
35:44no one be found among you who sacrifices
35:46his son or daughter in the fire, who
35:48practices deviation or sorcery,
35:51interprets interprets omens, engages in
35:54witchcraft, or cast spells, or who is a
35:58medium or spiritist, or who consults the
36:02dead." God says, "They may not be among
36:05you."
36:06By the way, check that list over good
36:08cuz you you may know somebody who
36:10qualified to be out the church.
36:20Reading cards. That's omen.
36:23Tarot cards.
36:25Go to Miami to get your palm read. God
36:27said, "Now, let me tell you something.
36:28You are an abomination."
36:31You trying to get information from me
36:34through somebody I didn't set up.
36:37I have set to the church apostles,
36:39prophets, evangelists, pastors,
36:41teachers. I set up no Mother Divine and
36:45Papa Boo Boo. I I I I KNOW WHO I SET.
36:48Come on, y'all talk to me. God said,
36:50"No, no, don't get Don't get me mixed

36:56THEY KNOW BETWEEN ME AND YOU.

37:25God says you shouldn't be among it.

37:33Watch the results of wrong media.
37:36Saul then said to his attendants, "Find
37:39me a woman who is in the media."
37:43Find me someone who's IN THE MIDDLE. I
37:46NEED A MEDIA.
37:47Show me a medium
37:49so I may go and inquire of her.
37:54Since God ain't talking to me directly,
37:56let me go hire a witch, she says.
38:00Oh, that sound like somebody's behavior
38:02in the Caribbean people now. You know,
38:04they ain't hear from God no more, so
38:05they gone.

38:28not keep the word of the Lord, and even
38:30consulted a medium for guidance."
38:34What? SAUL DIED BECAUSE
38:38God killed him.
38:41This man made a mistake, but God wasn't
38:43mad at him, but he consulted the wrong
38:46media
38:47to get information.
38:51What are you doing at 2:00 in the
38:52morning on your internet?
38:54What are you consulting?
38:57Where do you surf, young people,
39:01to get your information about life?
39:10God said,
39:16HE DIED BECAUSE
39:18he chose the wrong media
39:21to listen to.
39:24What books do you buy?
39:27What stations do you keep
39:30your radio tuned to in your car, young
39:33men and women,
39:34older men and women?
39:37What is constantly constantly being said
39:40to your conscious mind and downloaded
39:42eventually in your heart.
39:46It's the power of the media.
39:49The devil is after your soul.
39:52And Saul lost his
39:55because he went after the wrong media.
39:58He says, "So the Lord put him to death
39:59and turned the kingdom over to who?"
40:02David. Over to who? David. Now, I want
40:04you to follow David's life versus Saul's
40:06life.
40:08David had serious media.
40:10The largest song book in the Bible was
40:12written by this man.
40:14It's called the book of songs.
40:17And if you read and listen to his hits
40:21The Lord is my strength and song. Lord
40:25is my shepherd, I shall not want. Hey,
40:27hey, hey.
40:28I mean, Dave had the media IN THE BUSH.
40:31DANCING IN THE MOUNTAINS. IN OTHER
40:33WORDS, IF YOU CAN'T FIND good media,
40:35write your own. Got it, young people?
40:39That's why I'm so proud OF OUR YOUNG
40:41PEOPLE. AND LISTEN, WE JUST GETTING
40:43WARMED UP.
40:45I'm about to kick start this ministry
40:47with new structure.
40:49By November, we going to be on a glide
40:51ride. And I'm telling you, we going to
40:53have some stuff happening here that
40:54going to blow you away. I'm just in the
40:56in the preparation stage here.
40:59But we GOING TO HAVE TO GRAB THE MEDIA
41:03IN every area
41:07to control what goes into the minds of
41:09our nation.
41:12You can't just sit back and get mad.
41:15You got to participate and be glad.
41:21You can't leave it.
41:25Let's talk about the first use of the
41:26media. Before anything existed,
41:28what did God use for the media? This is
41:30interesting. The first media was simply
41:31the word. Everybody say word.
41:33Boy, words are important. The word is
41:35the medium used by God to communicate
41:37his will, his desire, his thoughts.
41:40And that resulted in what? The creation
41:42of the world. In other words, God had a
41:44idea in his mind. He used the media of
41:46the word to get it out, and the word
41:48produced creation.
41:51In other words, the mediation between
41:53God and creation is the word.
41:56So, the first one to introduce media is
42:00God himself. And the word
42:03was his first media.
42:05And today, it is still the most powerful
42:07media.
42:09What you hear will either kill you or
42:11save you.
42:13Write this down, please.
42:15Genesis 1 says, "And God said."
42:18Verse 3. Verse 6, "And God said." Verse
42:219, "And God said." Verse 11, "And God
42:23said." Verse 14, "And God said." Verse
42:2520, "And God said." Verse 24, "And God
42:27said." Verse 26, "And God said." God did
42:29everything by using this medium of the
42:31word. John chapter 1 verse verse 1 to 3,
42:34it says, "In the beginning
42:37was the word.
42:39And the word was with God. And the word
42:42was God. And the same was in the
42:44beginning with God."
42:46Important thing here is to notice that
42:48the word is God.
42:50Do you see that?
42:51Okay, let me explain why.
42:53This word word is important.
42:56Uh it's the word logos, l o g o s. Write
42:59it down. The word therefore the word is
43:01the word logos. The Hebrew word and the
43:03Greek word here that is translated in
43:04the Hebrew and the Greek for logos, it
43:06actually means this. It means expression
43:09of a thought.
43:12Write it down, please. Logos means what?
43:13Expression of a thought. Come on, I want
43:15you to be smart now, young people. Get
43:17this and understand it. The word logos
43:19means what? Expression of a thought. So,
43:21if you were to read that verse and use
43:23the literal meaning, it'll sound like
43:24this. In the beginning was the
43:26expression of God's thoughts.
43:28And God's thoughts was God.
43:30And God's words is thoughts.
43:33All things were made by the thoughts of
43:35God that were expressed.
43:38Verse 14, "And the thoughts of God
43:39became flesh
43:41and dwelt among us in a body."
43:45So,
43:46why is that important? Let's understand.
43:49Words are thoughts containers.
43:51When you speak a word, it takes your
43:52thoughts away from your mind and it
43:54gives you a vehicle to use to transmit
43:57your thoughts and therefore it's the
43:59most powerful media on earth. When I
44:01give you a word, you just got one of my
44:03thoughts.
44:06Thoughts are invisible, but when you
44:07speak, they become audible. And
44:09therefore, I cannot know what you're
44:11thinking till you talk.
44:15What is a thought? A thought is a silent
44:17word.
44:19What is a word? An expressed thought.
44:22What is a thought? Your thought is your
44:23idea, your concept. What is your word?
44:25Your expressed concept. So, when you
44:27speak to me, you are giving me WHAT'S IN
44:30YOUR HEART.
44:33Write this down. Words
44:35control thoughts and create life.
44:41So, you got to be careful who you listen
44:42TO CUZ THEY ARE GIVING YOU their mind.
44:45Now, there's a statement we make in the
44:47Bahamas that's very serious, but we
44:48don't think it is. And that is, we use
44:51this term, "I'm going to give you peace
44:53of my mind." That is literally true.
44:57When people talk to you,
45:00they are giving you a piece of their
45:02minds. And if you listen to them and
45:04receive IT, YOU'VE JUST ADDED their mind
45:07to yours.
45:14Take heed what you hear.
45:18The media therefore
45:20is the most powerful force on earth
45:23because it transmits ideas.
45:26Let's talk about words for a minute.
45:27Hebrews 1 verse 3 says,
45:29"The Son is the radiance of God's glory
45:31and the exact representation of his
45:34being. He sustains all things by what?
45:36His powerful word."
45:38Not only not only did the word create
45:40everything, but it holds everything
45:41together.
45:43John 1:3, "Through him all things were
45:44made."
45:45I mean, without him was nothing made
45:46that is made. The word produced
45:48everything.
45:49God sent the medium of the word to save
45:51the world. Isn't that amazing? He sent
45:54the medium to save the world.
45:58This is interesting.
46:00We got the world going to hell. We got
46:01God in heaven. And God wants to save
46:04them. What did he do? He sent someone in
46:06the middle.
46:09Come on, y'all talk
46:11So, WHO'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF
46:12SALVATION? The medium,
46:15WHICH IS CHRIST.
46:17GOD LOVES US.
46:21WE DISAPPOINTED HIM.
46:23HOW DOES HE COMMUNICATE HIS LOVE? He
46:25sends
46:26a medium.
46:28"For God so loved the world that he gave
46:32his medium."
46:35Jesus Christ is God's media.
46:38And he brings what? Listen to Jesus now.
46:40Oh, listen to me, folks. Last night I
46:42almost exploded. Jesus said this. He
46:44says, "Look, I'm just the media."
46:46He says, "Now, look,
46:48I only say what I hear my father say."
46:53Do you get it?
46:55You get it? No, I don't think you get
46:57it. He says, "LOOK, I CAN SAY what I
46:59want to say, you know."
47:03When you turn that radio on, TV on, CD
47:05on, tape player on, or even company on,
47:11you got to make sure they are only
47:12saying what the father says. If they are
47:15saying something different, you are
47:17getting corrupt media.
47:22Do you understand how serious this is?
47:24Now I understand why Jesus kept on
47:26saying, "I only speak what I hear my
47:28father say. I only say what my father
47:30told me. He who hears me hears my
47:32father." WHY? I HAVE MY OWN WILL.
47:36I COULD TELL Y'ALL SOME things I feel
47:38like telling y'all.
47:40But I ONLY SPEAK WHAT I HEAR THE SOURCE
47:43SAY.
47:44SO, that when you listen to me, you hear
47:46the father's voice. WE NEED MEDIA THAT
47:50DOES THAT IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME. IN THE
47:52BAHAMAS.
48:00WHEN YOU WRITE A SONG,
48:02CHECK MAKE sure it's lined up with the
48:03word.
48:04Or keep your song in the shower.
48:08I don't care how good it sounds. If it
48:10ain't what the father is saying,
48:13it's a corrupt song.
48:17When you going to dance, you check your
48:19movement to make sure that the MOVEMENT
48:21COMMUNICATES THE GLORY AND THE NATURE OF
48:24GOD.
48:26SO, you got to check IT WITH THE WORD.
48:33It's very critical.
48:35Write this down, please.
48:36Words determine what the mind and soul
48:39receives
48:40and therefore determines your destiny.
48:43The words are the most important part of
48:45your life.
48:46Whether they are written, spoken, or
48:48read,
48:50or heard, or seen,
48:52those words
48:53are after your soul.
48:56They after your soul. And this is why we
48:58must constantly
49:00monitor our media.
49:03Monitor our media. I saw in the papers
49:05recently,
49:06uh you know, when that rapper was coming
49:08here to sing, and everybody was
49:10concerned. I saw someone wrote an
49:12editorial, they said,
49:14"We got to be careful of censorship."
49:16Censorship. Censorship. And I'm
49:19thinking, "Okay.
49:21All right, censorship."
49:24And the Holy Spirit revealed to me how
49:26dumb we are.
49:29You realize
49:33that we would censor marijuana?
49:37We would censor
49:39cocaine.
49:41And all they do is impact the body.
49:49We made them illegal.
49:51And all they do is destroy the body.
49:55That's why your brain goes bad cuz you
49:56have your physical cells get damaged.
49:59It's not your mind. It what it does to
50:00the cells that activate the mind.
50:03But we make that illegal.
50:07But we have no laws that we are looking
50:10at profanity.
50:12We say we do, but then WE LET THE FELLOW
50:14in and tell him don't curse while he's
50:16singing. I don't understand that at all.
50:24So we CAN TALK ABOUT CENSORSHIP. LET'S
50:26DEAL with the real damage.
50:28If I hurt you mentally, if I damage you
50:30mentally, I got you.
50:32I mean, BOB MARLEY WAS HERE ONCE, just
50:36once.
50:37Bam, finished.
50:39They came up from under the rocks now.
50:42And we still reeling under that.
50:50You just can't say censorship.
50:53Censorship. Listen, you got to decide
50:56what you want to come into the minds of

51:32WHAT GOES INTO OUR SOULS.

52:02homework." Homework?

52:07You better find out about the internet.

52:11and put in locks on your your internet
52:14surfing, so you can know how to monitor
52:15what your children hear
52:18and see.
52:19And some of you all younger people, you
52:21have the word of God in your heart. You
52:23supposed to know what to do and what not
52:24to do now.

52:31The key to media is the use of waves. Oh
52:33boy, we getting into deep stuff now.

53:13you got gamma rays.

53:46a group takes over a government, the
53:48first thing they want to control is

53:53radio. Why? Cuz they know WHOEVER
