Full transcript
- 0:00After only three shorts, I managed to
- 0:01blow this channel up and I'm going to
- 0:03teach you guys exactly how to blow up a
- 0:05new YouTube shorts channel, giving you
- 0:06guys the exact method that I used to
- 0:08blow this channel up.
- 0:10Yo, what's going on YouTube? It's your
- 0:12boy Halls. Welcome back to another
- 0:14video. Today, I'm going to teach you
- 0:16guys exactly how to blow up a new
- 0:18YouTube shorts channel and exactly how
- 0:20I'm doing it. Um I'm not just going to
- 0:22show you guys the analytics. I'm going
- 0:23to give you guys basically a
- 0:24step-by-step on how I'm doing it and how
- 0:26you can replicate it yourself. Uh I know
- 0:28there's still a lot of people out here
- 0:30who are trying to, you know, start up
- 0:31new YouTube shorts channels and stuff
- 0:33like that but haven't had any success.
- 0:35So, I'm going to teach you guys exactly
- 0:36how I do it and show you guys a little
- 0:38bit of the metrics and stuff like that.
- 0:40As always, before we get into the video,
- 0:42I really appreciate you guys' support on
- 0:44the channel.
- 0:45Appreciate all the love, man. Uh like I
- 0:47always say, you guys are the reason I
- 0:48even make these videos and show you guys
- 0:50these channels.
- 0:51Um if you guys need a free Discord, link
- 0:53down below. And if you guys just need
- 0:55more one-on-one, uh for those who asked
- 0:57me if I have a mentorship, Halls
- 0:58Academy, link down below. But let's get
- 1:00right into it, man. Now, if you're still
- 1:02struggling to grow your channel, let
- 1:03alone make good content, I have the
- 1:05perfect AI tool for you, Nexus Clips.
- 1:08With Nexus Clips, you'll be able to take
- 1:10any long-form video into a short-form
- 1:12video using AI. Whether you don't know
- 1:14how to edit or just don't have the time,
- 1:15nexusclips.com will take care of all of
- 1:18that for you. All you have to do is
- 1:19upload the long-form video that you want
- 1:21to use and tell the AI what parts of
- 1:23that video you want to focus on. You're
- 1:25going to save yourself tons of time
- 1:27because the AI will just automatically
- 1:28make a short video for you. And the best
- 1:30part is is that you can customize your
- 1:32colors, the subtitles, the watermark,
- 1:34everything is done for you. So, all you
- 1:36have to do is upload your long-form
- 1:38video, it will make a viral short-form
- 1:40video for you, and you can just choose
- 1:42the subtitles you want, the titles you
- 1:43want, and the watermark. So, if you're
- 1:45tired of spending hours editing a short,
- 1:47you can hop on nexusclips.com before
- 1:49it's too late. The link will be down in
- 1:51the description and you can use the code
- 1:52Halls for 10% off. This right here is a
- 1:55new channel that I have started. And to
- 1:58give you guys some context, this is the
- 1:59third short on this channel.
- 2:01And the reason I even started
- 2:04experimenting with this channel is
- 2:05because a student in the academy
- 2:07actually is in this niche. So, for me to
- 2:10kind of back him up, I said, "I'm going
- 2:11to try this niche out." And as soon as I
- 2:14see that something works, I'm going to
- 2:15experiment with different ideas. And if
- 2:17something works, I'm going to tell him
- 2:19so he can basically, you know, do the
- 2:21exact same thing as me and start going
- 2:23viral as well. And well, uh we did it.
- 2:25And I basically used a three-step method
- 2:28to actually get these results, which I'm
- 2:29going to show you guys in a bit.
- 2:31Um now, the first point I want to make
- 2:33because this is super important, the
- 2:35first thing I actually want to talk
- 2:37about is that this channel right here is
- 2:39aged. So, you always want to age your
- 2:42channel. And I don't just mean age it by
- 2:44creating it and using it. I mean actual
- 2:47history on the channel. What I mean by
- 2:49this? So, what I like to do is sometimes
- 2:52I'll create a new a new channel, right?
- 2:54And every now and then I'll post
- 2:56something that I think can go viral. So,
- 2:58you guys know me, I have so many
- 3:00different channels. I'm always doing
- 3:01niche research. I'm always looking for
- 3:03viral ideas. As you can see, this is the
- 3:05third short right here um that actually
- 3:08blew up. But you guys can see that like
- 3:10two on December, like three, four months
- 3:13ago, I was posting on this channel. Um
- 3:16so, this is what I actually want to get
- 3:17to. These are all private, by the way.
- 3:18The older videos are private. But what I
- 3:20want to get to is that you guys want to
- 3:22not be scared like you guys don't want
- 3:24to be scared to post just to like
- 3:26experiment on different channels. It's
- 3:28even better because what you're doing is
- 3:30you're giving your channel's history.
- 3:31This channel right here has so much
- 3:33history cuz I've experimented with
- 3:34different, you know, editing styles,
- 3:36different video topics before.
- 3:38>> [snorts]
- 3:38>> And right now, uh on March 25th, I
- 3:41basically used the three-step method I'm
- 3:43going to show you guys uh that I'm going
- 3:44to talk about in a bit and I decided to
- 3:46lock in back on this channel
- 3:48using this new format. And boom, third
- 3:51short in,
- 3:52I
- 3:53hit a viral video. So, uh pretty cool.
- 3:56>> [snorts]
- 3:56>> And like I said, man,
- 3:58I have so many different channels where
- 3:59I'm just posting different stuff. Um and
- 4:02the thing is like it's a win-win
- 4:04situation because while you're
- 4:05experimenting on different channels,
- 4:08number one, you can find something that
- 4:10does super super good while you're
- 4:11experimenting. And number two, even if
- 4:12nothing goes viral, you're giving those
- 4:14channels history. So, then you guys can,
- 4:17you know, eventually private them all
- 4:18and then try again with new stuff. But
- 4:20at least the channel is aged and it has,
- 4:22you know, already
- 4:24you know, there's content already been
- 4:25uploaded on it, you know what I mean? I
- 4:27hope this is making sense.
- 4:28But yeah, that's the first thing I
- 4:29wanted to talk about um in this video.
- 4:31You always want to give your channel's
- 4:33history. Don't be scared to experiment
- 4:35different content styles on different
- 4:37channels because then you guys can use
- 4:38that same channel to start building
- 4:40something else. That's you usually what
- 4:41I do. I I start a channel. Um I start
- 4:44experimenting on it. If nothing hits,
- 4:46then I just private everything. And then
- 4:48I lock in back with another format.
- 4:51So, how exactly did I find this winning
- 4:53format and how am I making these videos?
- 4:56So, what I did for this channel is I
- 4:57fused three different channels together,
- 5:00taking a small piece of each one to
- 5:02combine them and create a new viral
- 5:03video. I've talked about the fuse
- 5:05method. If you guys are OGs of my
- 5:07channel, I've talked about this method
- 5:08for a long, long time. However, with
- 5:11this one, I actually did a like a
- 5:12three-way fuse. Like usually, I'll just
- 5:14take something from one channel and fuse
- 5:16it with another channel. But with this
- 5:17channel right here, I basically did
- 5:19three different channels and I took
- 5:21something viral of each channel and um
- 5:26put it into one, basically.
- 5:28Uh now, I'm going to break this down
- 5:29because just saying that doesn't make
- 5:31any sense. So,
- 5:33number one, from one channel, I actually
- 5:34took the format. Now, what this means is
- 5:37I took the font styles, I took the
- 5:39titles, you know, where not the titles,
- 5:41like where everything was placed. What I
- 5:44mean is you have to focus on every
- 5:46single detail. I even checked out if
- 5:48they were using all caps, if they were
- 5:50doing lower cases for everything. You
- 5:52know, I took their format. I took how
- 5:54they were cropping their videos, etc.
- 5:55You know what I mean? I hope this is
- 5:57making sense again. So, um even just
- 6:00like the text transitions and stuff like
- 6:02that,
- 6:03I took that from one channel. And then
- 6:06two, I took the background music {slash}
- 6:08editing style from another channel. So,
- 6:10I saw a channel using a very trendy uh
- 6:13background music. Um basically, I saw
- 6:16that they were using this background
- 6:17music over and over and over and over
- 6:19again, and they were constantly going
- 6:21viral. So, I was like, "Okay, I'm going
- 6:23to take the first channel's format and
- 6:25I'm going to use the second channel's
- 6:27background music." So, I took the font
- 6:29styles, where the text was located,
- 6:32everything from the first channel. And
- 6:33then from the second channel, I
- 6:35basically uh used the same background
- 6:38music as them. So, you guys are kind of
- 6:40getting the idea here because the thing
- 6:42is, if you replicate one channel and you
- 6:45just replicate it, it's a good it's a
- 6:46good idea, right? But when you fuse,
- 6:49you're getting three different viral,
- 6:50you know, uh
- 6:52things from three different channels,
- 6:54and you're creating something that a lot
- 6:56of people haven't seen before. So, it
- 6:57becomes something new. Whereas, if you
- 6:59just take something viral from one
- 7:01channel and you replicate what one
- 7:03channel's doing, so you're you replicate
- 7:04the content style from one channel, it
- 7:06might have already gotten like played
- 7:08out. It might be a little bit too old.
- 7:10It still works because I still find
- 7:12myself doing it. Um not directly copying
- 7:14one-to-one, but copying their style and
- 7:16stuff like that. But I like doing this
- 7:18better because you're taking, like I
- 7:20said, one viral aspect from each
- 7:22channel.
- 7:24And then I took the video idea from the
- 7:26third channel. By the way, what we're
- 7:27talking here is the viral video.
- 7:30However, once I found this viral format,
- 7:32um I'm starting to replicate it. And I
- 7:35think I posted a video two days ago, uh
- 7:38which didn't go viral, but the one I put
- 7:40I posted today is actually getting
- 7:41pushed out. So, we're going to try out
- 7:43this format. You guys know, if you find
- 7:45a winning format, you want to, you know,
- 7:47double down on it and try it again. Um I
- 7:49feel like I'm going getting all over the
- 7:51place. But
- 7:53what I meant by this. Number one, I took
- 7:55the titles
- 7:57and the font styles and how the actual
- 8:00video was formatted. I hope that makes
- 8:02sense. So, the ratios, uh where the text
- 8:04was, where the captions were, for
- 8:06example, stuff like that. Number two, I
- 8:08took the background music and the
- 8:10editing style with that background music
- 8:12from uh the second channel. And number
- 8:14three, the video idea {slash} clips were
- 8:16from a third channel.
- 8:18So, I fused them all together. I hope
- 8:20this is making sense.
- 8:22Um
- 8:23and yeah, that's basically what I did
- 8:25for this viral video. So, to put this
- 8:27into perspective for you guys that are
- 8:29actually starting a new channel, you
- 8:30want to look for a good video idea that
- 8:32you can replicate. Find a good concept
- 8:34that's one, constantly going viral, or
- 8:37two, is recently gone viral for someone
- 8:40and, you know, is doing super super
- 8:42good. You can even take older ones as
- 8:44well that have just been sitting there
- 8:46and and like no one else has replicated
- 8:48them. Um so, take that. Number two, take
- 8:50the editing style or, for my example, I
- 8:53actually took their background music.
- 8:55So,
- 8:55take the video idea from one channel,
- 8:57take a editing style from the second
- 8:59channel. Uh make sure it's not the same
- 9:01as the original. We want to change it
- 9:02up. Um and then take the um
- 9:06the format from a third channel. And
- 9:08just like this, you're going to take
- 9:09three things that are already working,
- 9:12but you're making them into a new, you
- 9:14know, style. You're making them into
- 9:15something that people haven't seen
- 9:17before.
- 9:18Uh it's kind of like what I did a long,
- 9:20long time ago when I had my car channel.
- 9:22I took video ideas from one channel and
- 9:25the editing style from another channel,
- 9:27and I fused them together, and it just
- 9:29went absolutely crazy. So, it's the same
- 9:31thing that I'm doing here. So far, it's
- 9:33working pretty good. I really hope this
- 9:35video made some sense. Don't be scared
- 9:37to take different little things from a
- 9:39lot of channels and then using them to
- 9:40your advantage.
- 9:42Like this is how YouTube works. YouTube
- 9:45is really just studying competition and,
- 9:48you know, remixing it. You don't have to
- 9:50be the founder of a new niche or the
- 9:52founder of a new editing style. You can
- 9:54just take different little pieces from
- 9:56different channels and fuse them into
- 9:58your own and create new viral videos
- 10:00because obviously the goal is to make
- 10:02new content that people haven't seen
- 10:04before but with a little touch of you
- 10:06know, that good editing style that
- 10:08people have seen or you know, people are
- 10:10used to seeing. So, that's basically it
- 10:13and if this video right here, hopefully
- 10:16it keeps going up because
- 10:18um I always talk about this, slow rise
- 10:21videos are super good. As you can see
- 10:22this video in the first like 3 days um
- 10:25it's doing pretty mid. It was just
- 10:27rising, rising, rising and then boom, it
- 10:29just started going up. This short right
- 10:30here is actually from another one of my
- 10:32channels but look, you can see the same
- 10:34trend. It starts going up. It's slow,
- 10:36slow, slow, slow
- 10:38and then boom, it just starts going up.
- 10:40So, definitely look out for those slow
- 10:42rise videos, slow rise shorts
- 10:44um because these are probably the ones
- 10:46that are going to do the best.
- 10:48I'm predicting this short right here is
- 10:49probably going to be an eight-figure
- 10:52short just because it's doing super
- 10:54good. The growth has been super
- 10:56consistent. I've realized that shorts
- 10:58that just go from here and then they
- 11:00just skyrocket to like 5 million, they
- 11:02just stay there. Whereas these shorts
- 11:04right here
- 11:05they just like go like every day. Even
- 11:07if it's only 700k in the last 48 hours
- 11:10if this 700k keeps going, that's 350k
- 11:13views a day and usually these are super
- 11:15long-lasting. So, um boom, it let's say
- 11:19this short right here gets 6 million,
- 11:20this short right here can already
- 11:22monetize this channel. I'm telling you
- 11:24guys YouTube shorts is super easy. Just
- 11:25study, study, study. If you guys are
- 11:27watching this video, you guys are
- 11:28probably someone who studies, you know,
- 11:30YouTube and YouTube shorts a lot. So, I
- 11:33congratulate you. It's really just, you
- 11:35know, reverse engineering videos and
- 11:37finding new concepts, uh remixing
- 11:40existing concepts, fusing different
- 11:42concepts together.
- 11:43There's it's the possibilities are are
- 11:45endless to be honest. I can't even talk.
- 11:48Uh but yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed
- 11:49this video. I'm probably going to do an
- 11:51update on this channel once I hopefully
- 11:53monetize it or once I get, you know,
- 11:56start growing it a little bit more
- 11:57because this channel only has like 2K
- 11:59subs right now.
- 12:01But the way it's going, it should be
- 12:03monetized hopefully 10K subs real soon.
- 12:05Keep grinding, keep scaling those
- 12:07channels because right now it's never
- 12:09been easier to actually make money from
- 12:10shorts or YouTube as a whole.
- 12:13Uh but yeah, I'll see you guys in the
- 12:15next one.
