  1. 0:00On May 22nd, YouTube announced the
  2. 0:02biggest update ever. And what this
  3. 0:04update did is that it made YouTube fair
  4. 0:06for everybody. Going forward,
  5. 0:08subscribers don't matter. The history of
  6. 0:10your YouTube channel doesn't matter. And
  7. 0:12the age of your YouTube channel no
  8. 0:13longer matters. So, if you've been
  9. 0:15thinking of starting a YouTube channel,
  10. 0:17it's time to stop being a [ __ ]
  11. 0:19It's now or never, bro. I mean, your
  12. 0:21your odds have never been better than
  13. 0:22they are today. And again, it's all
  14. 0:24thanks to this update. So, in this
  15. 0:26video, I'm going to tell you what these
  16. 0:27updates were and how you as a small
  17. 0:29YouTuber or a beginner can take full
  18. 0:31advantage of it. But first, if you don't
  19. 0:32know who I am, my name is Romero. I've
  20. 0:34been running faceless YouTube channels
  21. 0:36since 2018. Since then, I've gotten
  22. 0:38hundreds of millions of views and I've
  23. 0:39generated over $2 million in just
  24. 0:42YouTube ad revenue. I'm also the first
  25. 0:44person to discover this [music] and to
  26. 0:45publicly announce the new YouTube
  27. 0:47algorithm update. And I announced this 6
  28. 0:50months ago. Keep in mind, YouTube
  29. 0:52publicly said it a few days ago.
  30. 0:55But Google is now heavily leaning
  31. 0:57towards YouTube videos as sources for
  32. 1:00these AI overviews. And this is Google's
  33. 1:03objective, right? They want to make
  34. 1:04[music] YouTube the go-to source for
  35. 1:07everything on the internet.
  36. 1:08>> We're also bringing this conversational
  37. 1:09AI to two more products. First, Ask
  38. 1:12YouTube. People come to YouTube every
  39. 1:14day to ask a lot of questions.
  40. 1:17>> And together, they created something
  41. 1:19called C2PA. And the purpose of this
  42. 1:21stamp is that it tells platforms what
  43. 1:24edits have been made to your video. For
  44. 1:25example, hey, this video was created
  45. 1:28with a Sony camera. And hey, this video
  46. 1:30contains images created with Midjourney.
  47. 1:33>> We are now going a step further and
  48. 1:35adding content credentials verification
  49. 1:37across products. This will show you if
  50. 1:40the origin of the content was AI or a
  51. 1:43camera and if it's been edited with
  52. 1:45generative AI tools.
  53. 1:47>> Because in my opinion, what Google is
  54. 1:49trying to do is that they're trying to
  55. 1:51go from a search engine to an answer
  56. 1:53engine. And they're using Gemini to do
  57. 1:55that.
  58. 1:56>> Bringing AI overviews and AI mode into
  59. 1:58one seamless AI search experience. So,
  60. 2:00you can flow effortlessly from your
  61. 2:02question to your response on the main
  62. 2:04search results page.
  63. 2:07>> So, what's this AI detector that YouTube
  64. 2:09is using? Well, I mentioned it a few
  65. 2:11months ago in one of my YouTube videos.
  66. 2:12It's called Synth ID. And what Synth ID
  67. 2:15is is a watermark. A watermark that is
  68. 2:17so small that it's invisible to the
  69. 2:19human eye.
  70. 2:20>> 3 years ago, we launched Synth ID, our
  71. 2:22watermark that is invisible to the naked
  72. 2:24eye.
  73. 2:24>> So, since ElevenLabs, for example, that
  74. 2:27doesn't have Synth ID, it's not a Google
  75. 2:29product, Synth ID, they're going to be
  76. 2:31selling it. All of the new companies
  77. 2:32that are coming in the future, if they
  78. 2:34want to make media with AI, they're
  79. 2:36going to have to have Synth ID.
  80. 2:37>> And today, I'm thrilled to announce that
  81. 2:39OpenAI, Kakao, and ElevenLabs are
  82. 2:42adopting Synth ID, too.
  83. 2:45>> Synth ID is going to become I don't know
  84. 2:47if this is the correct phrase, but
  85. 2:48legally binding. The quote-unquote
  86. 2:50correct way, meaning that from here,
  87. 2:52YouTube can demonetize channels that
  88. 2:55create AI-generated content, but don't
  89. 2:57use Google products. Because again,
  90. 2:59Synth ID is only going to be for Google
  91. 3:02products like
  92. 3:02>> Great to see the cross-industry
  93. 3:04collaboration. We are looking forward to
  94. 3:06expanding to more partners and setting
  95. 3:09the standard of transparency for the AI
  96. 3:11era.
  97. 3:11>> And no, I am not a Google employee. I do
  98. 3:13not work for YouTube. I just do this
  99. 3:15[ __ ] for a living.
  100. 3:17Anyways, here are the four things you
  101. 3:19have to do going forward. Fix number
  102. 3:21one.
  103. 3:22You have to start marking your videos as
  104. 3:24altered content. Now, let me explain
  105. 3:26this. If you're like me and you use
  106. 3:28ElevenLabs to voice commentate your
  107. 3:30videos, now you have to tell YouTube.
  108. 3:32And that's because on May 19th, Google
  109. 3:34confirmed that ElevenLabs was now going
  110. 3:36to start embedding Synth ID to every
  111. 3:39[music] audio generated. Now, for those
  112. 3:40of you that don't know, Synth ID is
  113. 3:42Google's invisible watermark. Not only
  114. 3:45does it work for AI-generated images,
  115. 3:47but now it works for audio files.
  116. 3:49Meaning that every audio file you create
  117. 3:51with 11:Labs now carries a Synth ID
  118. 3:54watermark. And no, you cannot fool
  119. 3:56YouTube by changing the pitch of the
  120. 3:59voiceover, okay? They're going to know.
  121. 4:01The watermark cannot be removed. And if
  122. 4:03you fail to disclose that your voice is
  123. 4:05AI-generated, your YouTube channel will
  124. 4:07be demonetized. If you're not monetized,
  125. 4:10and you never disclose that you use an
  126. 4:11AI voice, when the time comes for you to
  127. 4:13appeal to the YouTube Partner Program,
  128. 4:15they're going to deny your ask. So, very
  129. 4:17quickly, I'm going to show you the
  130. 4:18correct way to tell YouTube that you're
  131. 4:20using an AI voice. So, when the video is
  132. 4:22being posted, you want to scroll down
  133. 4:25until you see this section called
  134. 4:27altered content. It says, "Do any of the
  135. 4:29following describe your content? Makes a
  136. 4:31real person appear to say or do
  137. 4:33something that they didn't say or do.
  138. 4:34Alters footage of a real event, or
  139. 4:36generates a realistic-looking scene that
  140. 4:39didn't actually occur." Now, I know that
  141. 4:41none of those really apply to our
  142. 4:42channel, but we're going to click yes,
  143. 4:45because the voiceover is done with
  144. 4:4611:Labs. After you do that, you can
  145. 4:49start posting the video as normal, and
  146. 4:50just do everything like you normally do.
  147. 4:52Now, there is an exception for this. If
  148. 4:54you cloned your voice using 11:Labs, you
  149. 4:57don't have to disclose it to YouTube.
  150. 4:59From my understanding, you do not have
  151. 5:00to disclose that. Stock voices or
  152. 5:03third-party clones, you have to disclose
  153. 5:05those. Anyways, moving on to number two.
  154. 5:08Write your video scripts for the AI
  155. 5:11overviews. Now, a few days ago, YouTube
  156. 5:13launched their conversational search,
  157. 5:16powered by Gemini Omni. And how this
  158. 5:18works is that when you type your
  159. 5:20question on Google or YouTube, you're
  160. 5:22going to get an answer generated by AI.
  161. 5:24And usually, these AI overviews uses
  162. 5:28YouTube videos as a source. So, this
  163. 5:30kind of means tags are useless. It seems
  164. 5:32like we're now in the days where
  165. 5:34technology has advanced so much that SEO
  166. 5:37and traditional SEO is no longer the new
  167. 5:40way to do it, which is which is crazy.
  168. 5:42Because the new algorithm now favors two
  169. 5:45things: topical authority and
  170. 5:47citation-friendly structure. You know,
  171. 5:50adding these things is going to be the
  172. 5:51fastest way to get your video show to
  173. 5:53millions of people. [music] So, to do
  174. 5:55this, you need to answer at least one
  175. 5:57question related to your topic within
  176. 5:59the first 30 seconds of your video. For
  177. 6:01example, if the topic of your video is
  178. 6:04"Why did this company go broke?", your
  179. 6:07video script needs to give the actual
  180. 6:09answer within the first 60 seconds. And
  181. 6:11that's because these new YouTube AI
  182. 6:13overviews prioritize and read the early
  183. 6:16stages of your script. Now, another
  184. 6:18thing you want to do for this is to add
  185. 6:20specific names, dates, [music] and
  186. 6:22places. For example, instead of saying
  187. 6:25"A lot of people lost money", you want
  188. 6:26to say "47,000 employees lost their jobs
  189. 6:30in Q3 of 2026." It's a huge difference,
  190. 6:33right? Now, it might sound weird in your
  191. 6:35video, but to the AI overview and the
  192. 6:38new algorithm, that's the type of [ __ ]
  193. 6:40they want to hear. Because whenever you
  194. 6:41give specifics to Google or to YouTube,
  195. 6:44they're going to reward you because you
  196. 6:45made their job easier, and you gave them
  197. 6:47actually something to cite to people,
  198. 6:49which is exactly what they want. It's
  199. 6:51like I told you a few months ago, Google
  200. 6:52and YouTube are trying to become answer
  201. 6:54engines instead of search engines.
  202. 6:56Moving on to number three, and that is
  203. 6:59building authority. The next thing that
  204. 7:01YouTube added is something called
  205. 7:02likeness detection. So, essentially, if
  206. 7:05you're over the age of 18 and you upload
  207. 7:08a picture of your ID with a little
  208. 7:10selfie scan of your face to YouTube,
  209. 7:12that's going to allow them to hunt down
  210. 7:14unauthorized use of your face with AI
  211. 7:17and your voice. Now, for complete
  212. 7:18beginners, that doesn't sound that bad.
  213. 7:20Personally, I think this is good, but
  214. 7:23Google just told us how important a
  215. 7:25verified identity is, aka authority. And
  216. 7:29the most effective way to become an
  217. 7:30authority in any platform is to have
  218. 7:33off-platform presence. Just think about
  219. 7:35it. For faceless YouTube channels like
  220. 7:37the ones I have, there is no personality
  221. 7:40behind it. So, technically, it would be
  222. 7:42considered a content farm. But,
  223. 7:45verified entities are considered media
  224. 7:49brands. Now, the best way to not look
  225. 7:50like a content farm in the eyes of
  226. 7:52YouTube is to create multiple social
  227. 7:54medias with the same name as your
  228. 7:56YouTube channel. Now, because I'm the
  229. 7:58absolute goat,
  230. 7:59I'm going to tell you the three social
  231. 8:01medias that you 100% need to create
  232. 8:03today. But, before I do that, I want to
  233. 8:06remind you that everything you're
  234. 8:07learning right now, I have been teaching
  235. 8:09it to members of my community for the
  236. 8:11last 6 months. And that's because since
  237. 8:13I've been doing YouTube since 2018, and
  238. 8:16I have bills,
  239. 8:17I've always needed to keep up with the
  240. 8:19algorithm. Now, I don't just do research
  241. 8:21on YouTube. Okay? I also do it on
  242. 8:23Google. And what I noticed is that we're
  243. 8:25in the beginning of the biggest
  244. 8:27algorithm update that not only Google,
  245. 8:29but YouTube has ever seen. And that's
  246. 8:31because of AI. Now, in the past, it was
  247. 8:34a little bit complicated for a beginner
  248. 8:36to, you know, hop into a niche that's
  249. 8:37already dominated by multiple other
  250. 8:39YouTubers and succeed. But, Google has
  251. 8:41released so many papers, so many new
  252. 8:44things that when I applied to multiple
  253. 8:46YouTube channels, it worked as proof of
  254. 8:48concept multiple times. Now, what I'm
  255. 8:50covering in this video, it is important
  256. 8:52[ __ ] It's things that you need from
  257. 8:54here on to the future. But, there are
  258. 8:55some things that I cannot cover on
  259. 8:57YouTube publicly. And that's because the
  260. 8:59information is so valuable. It is so
  261. 9:01new, and I'm going to be completely
  262. 9:02[ __ ] honest here, that I don't want
  263. 9:04other YouTube coaches to take credit for
  264. 9:07it. Because that's what they've been
  265. 9:08doing. For example, if I go on Gemini
  266. 9:11and I ask, "Who is the first YouTube
  267. 9:13growth expert that introduced net
  268. 9:15information gain on YouTube?" Gemini is
  269. 9:17going to tell you that John Scott was
  270. 9:19the first one. Which by the way, John
  271. 9:21Scott is a pretty cool dude, all right?
  272. 9:23So, I don't mind that he's number one.
  273. 9:25Now, John Scott first spoke about net
  274. 9:27information gain on February 24th. If I
  275. 9:30tell Gemini, "Wasn't it not Romero?"
  276. 9:32it's going to say, "Yes, you are
  277. 9:33completely right." Romero spoke about it
  278. 9:35in February of 2026, February 3rd.
  279. 9:38Credit where credit is due, Romero was
  280. 9:39the one who did the actual heavy lifting
  281. 9:41and research on those patents to
  282. 9:43introduce the concept to creators, which
  283. 9:45ended up being right, by the way. In
  284. 9:46February, if you asked Gemini about net
  285. 9:49information gain, it would say that it
  286. 9:50has nothing to do with the YouTube
  287. 9:52algorithm. Now, it admits it, but it
  288. 9:54doesn't credit me. So, that wasn't very
  289. 9:56cool.
  290. 9:57If you want to learn the real deep [ __ ]
  291. 9:59the real advanced things that I found in
  292. 10:01my research, you can click the link in
  293. 10:02my description or in the pinned comment
  294. 10:04that's going to take you to my school
  295. 10:05community. There is where you're going
  296. 10:07to find multiple video tutorials where I
  297. 10:09explain to you exactly how this all
  298. 10:11works. Number one is Pinterest. For some
  299. 10:13odd reason, Google and YouTube see
  300. 10:15Pinterest as a search engine for images.
  301. 10:19So, reposting your thumbnails on
  302. 10:20Pinterest with the link of whatever
  303. 10:22YouTube video that thumbnail was for
  304. 10:24will naturally rank them in Google
  305. 10:26images, giving them more external
  306. 10:27impressions, which lead to more views.
  307. 10:30Now, moving on to the second social
  308. 10:31media, that is Medium. So, go ahead and
  309. 10:34screenshot the prompt you see on the
  310. 10:35screen, then go to ChatGPT or Claude,
  311. 10:38paste it on there with the transcript of
  312. 10:40your video, and click enter. Once you do
  313. 10:42that, what it should do is give you back
  314. 10:45a professional SEO-rich article, which
  315. 10:48you're going to post on Medium with the
  316. 10:51link of your YouTube video embedded. So,
  317. 10:52what this does is that it makes your
  318. 10:54content appear under Google's article
  319. 10:57and news section. This obviously creates
  320. 10:59a completely new pathway for people to
  321. 11:01find your content, but what it also does
  322. 11:04is that it makes your YouTube channel
  323. 11:05and your brand more noticeable to Google
  324. 11:08search and to YouTube's AI overview bot,
  325. 11:11which again, within time, this is going
  326. 11:12to send a signal to Google and YouTube
  327. 11:14that your YouTube channel is not just a
  328. 11:17faceless YouTube channel, okay? It is a
  329. 11:18brand with real presence across the web.
  330. 11:22So, yes, you can have faceless YouTube
  331. 11:24channels. Just don't have anonymous
  332. 11:26ones, if that makes sense. Same means
  333. 11:28the same [ __ ] That sounded cooler in my
  334. 11:29head.
  335. 11:31God damn it, just make your channel a
  336. 11:32brand. That's what I'm saying. And
  337. 11:33speaking of number three, the third
  338. 11:36social media you want is going to be
  339. 11:37Facebook, Instagram, and X. I put these
  340. 11:41together as one cuz it's it's pretty
  341. 11:42obvious, right? These are
  342. 11:44non-negotiables. So, once you create all
  343. 11:46of these things, you want to make sure
  344. 11:48that in the bio of your medium account,
  345. 11:50of your Pinterest, of your Facebook, of
  346. 11:52your Instagram, you need to make sure
  347. 11:53that you have the link of your YouTube
  348. 11:55channel in the bio of each one. And you
  349. 11:57also want to do the same thing on
  350. 11:58YouTube. If you don't have them
  351. 12:00connected and both linking to each
  352. 12:02other, it is useless. So, to do this,
  353. 12:04you want to go to youtube.com, then you
  354. 12:07want to click on your profile picture on
  355. 12:08the top right, then you want to click on
  356. 12:10view your channel.
  357. 12:12Once you do that, you're going to click
  358. 12:14on customize channel here at the bottom
  359. 12:16of your app. That's going to take you
  360. 12:18here. From here, you're going to scroll
  361. 12:20down until you see links.
  362. 12:23This is where you're going to add
  363. 12:24everything. So, you're going to click
  364. 12:25add link, you're going to enter a title
  365. 12:28like Pinterest.
  366. 12:31You're going to drop the URL here.
  367. 12:33Once you do that, you're going to click
  368. 12:34add link again, then you're going to do
  369. 12:35Facebook, then you're going to click add
  370. 12:37link again, then you're going to do your
  371. 12:38Instagram. And you're going to do this
  372. 12:40for every single social media you
  373. 12:41create. And boom, you're done. Now,
  374. 12:43moving on to number four, and that is
  375. 12:46sell something. Now, this is part of my
  376. 12:48more advanced research that I don't plan
  377. 12:50on sharing on YouTube yet. Again, that's
  378. 12:53only going to be for my community, but
  379. 12:54I'm going to give you the basics. It
  380. 12:56doesn't matter if you actually sell
  381. 12:58anything. You're not doing it for the
  382. 12:59revenue, but make sure that you have a
  383. 13:00store linked to your YouTube channel. If
  384. 13:02you don't know how to create one of
  385. 13:03these stores, go ahead and ask Claude.
  386. 13:06Again, this is not for monetary
  387. 13:07purposes. Your goal here is not
  388. 13:09affiliates or drop shipping, but just
  389. 13:12add one. By the way, people pay $50,000
  390. 13:14a year hiring consultants to to just
  391. 13:16teach you what I just taught you. So,
  392. 13:18I'd appreciate if you liked and
  393. 13:19subscribed to the channel. Which by the
  394. 13:21way, members of my community have
  395. 13:23already been doing this for the last 3
  396. 13:24months. And that's because yes, I told
  397. 13:27them that this was going to happen. Now,
  398. 13:28if you're someone that wants to take
  399. 13:29YouTube serious, you can go ahead and
  400. 13:30click the link in the description of
  401. 13:32this video or in the pin comment, and
  402. 13:34that's going to take you to my school
  403. 13:35community. And what you get when you
  404. 13:36join my school community is 156 video
  405. 13:39tutorials where I take you step-by-step
  406. 13:41on how I managed to build a $2 million
  407. 13:44empire on YouTube. In the tutorial
  408. 13:45vault, you're going to find all kinds of
  409. 13:47advanced tutorials, things that you will
  410. 13:49not find on YouTube for free. For
  411. 13:51example, the best way to optimize
  412. 13:52emails, creating channel trailers in
  413. 13:54order to boost trust score, channel
  414. 13:56settings to avoid demonetization for
  415. 13:58inauthentic content, correctly creating
  416. 14:00your YouTube channel into a brand
  417. 14:01account, the entire process of warming
  418. 14:03up brand new YouTube channels, and 10
  419. 14:06videos dedicated to helping you pick a
  420. 14:08niche. Same thing with finding video
  421. 14:09ideas, same thing with writing scripts
  422. 14:11manually or with AI, same thing with
  423. 14:13creating audios and voice-overs with AI
  424. 14:16and manually, how to edit videos, how to
  425. 14:18create thumbnails, the best way to
  426. 14:20optimize and upload your videos, full
  427. 14:21explanation of how the algorithm works,
  428. 14:24and a few case studies. But, that's not
  429. 14:26it, because there's also a module titled
  430. 14:28the 2026 updates, and this is where

  452. 15:10videos. Oh, look, and he attached the
  453. 15:11screenshot here to prove it, which is
