How to Actually Start Shopify Dropshipping in 2026 — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00You've probably watched enough
- 0:01drop-shipping videos to know exactly
- 0:03what you're supposed to do. Find a
- 0:05product, build a store, run ads. But
- 0:08somehow, you're still stuck with an
- 0:10empty Shopify account and nothing
- 0:12actually launched. One creator tells you
- 0:14to start with products, another says
- 0:16start with branding, someone else says
- 0:18don't touch [music] a store until you
- 0:20found a winner. So, instead of making
- 0:22progress, you just ended up bouncing
- 0:24between strategies and starting over
- 0:26every few days. My name is AC Hampton
- 0:28and over the last 8 years, I built
- 0:30multiple seven-figure drop-shipping
- 0:31stores [music] that have generated me
- 0:33over $10 million with my students
- 0:35crossing over $50 million combined and
- 0:37counting. And I'm going to tell you if
- 0:38there's one thing all these years have
- 0:40taught me, is that the reason most
- 0:42people never get off the ground isn't
- 0:43the product, the niche, or the store.
- 0:46It's that they're so buried in
- 0:47conflicting information that they end up
- 0:49freezing before they start. And the very
- 0:51few who do push through, they start in
- 0:53the wrong order, build everything
- 0:55backwards, and burn out before they ever
- 0:57see a sale. That's why 80 to 90% stores
- 1:00don't make it past their first few
- 1:02months. Not because the model is broken,
- 1:04but because they started wrong. But
- 1:06listen, all of that stops right here,
- 1:07right now. This is going to be me
- 1:09handing you the exact path that is
- 1:11proven from start to finish. The same
- 1:13order I'd follow if I had to build a
- 1:14brand new store from zero right now. And
- 1:16this is probably the most value-packed
- 1:18video I'm going to drop the entire year.
- 1:20So, do yourself a favor, take notes,
- 1:23don't be afraid to pause or rewind
- 1:25whenever you need to lock something in,
- 1:26and go at your own pace because there's
- 1:28no rushing this. And I promise you, if
- 1:30you follow me all the way through, by
- 1:32the end you won't just have a store
- 1:33sitting there, you'll have your first ad
- 1:35campaign launched and live. And that
- 1:37alone puts you ahead of nearly every
- 1:39single beginner who talks about starting
- 1:41but never actually does. So, let's go
- 1:43ahead and get into it. Now, before we
- 1:45touch a single tool, let me explain what
- 1:47drop-shipping actually is. [music] And
- 1:48I'm going to say it like I'm explaining
- 1:50it to a 10-year-old because people love
- 1:52overcomplicating this to sound [music]
- 1:53smart. So, here it is. You put a product
- 1:55for sale on your website, somebody buys
- 1:57it, and only then do you go order that
- 2:00product from a supplier, which then the
- 2:02supplier ships it straight to your
- 2:03customer's door. And that's it. You
- 2:05never have to buy the product up front,
- 2:06you never have to store boxes [music] in
- 2:08your garage, and you never have to touch
- 2:09the inventory. You're just a middleman
- 2:11with a storefront where the money comes
- 2:13in before money goes out. So, here's the
- 2:15order that we're going to be following
- 2:16today, and this is going to be from
- 2:18start [music] to finish. The first thing
- 2:20that we're going to do is get a basic
- 2:22but professional Shopify store built out
- 2:24in less than 5 [music] minutes. From
- 2:25there, we will find and validate a
- 2:27winning product that is already proven
- 2:29to be selling. Next, we will lock in how
- 2:31you source and ship it, and then after
- 2:33securing the fulfillment, we will then
- 2:35come back and turn [music] that store
- 2:36into a real brand, and then lastly, we
- 2:38will create some ads that will actually
- 2:40bring in sales and launch our first
- 2:41campaign. And we'll be following this in
- 2:43that order. And I want to be straight up
- 2:44with you. Step one is going to feel a
- 2:46little bit backwards, and that's cuz
- 2:48we're going to get a full store online
- 2:50before we even pick the product to sell.
- 2:52But stick with me, because there is a
- 2:54real reason it has to happen in exactly
- 2:56that order. So, here's where we start,
- 2:58and the link is in the description for
- 2:59the free AI store builder that we're
- 3:01about to walk through. And there's a
- 3:02specific reason that I'm sending you
- 3:04there first, and let me go ahead and
- 3:05break down and explain why. And it's
- 3:07because when you sign up through that
- 3:08link, it's going to set up your Shopify
- 3:10store at the same time. So, instead of
- 3:12you doing two separate confusing steps,
- 3:15which is creating a Shopify [music]
- 3:16account and then figuring out how to
- 3:17build a store, you will just knock both
- 3:19out in one move. So, let me go ahead and
- 3:21show you exactly how to set it up. So,
- 3:22first things first, I'm going to go down
- 3:24to the description, and I'm going to go
- 3:25ahead and click the AI store builder
- 3:26link. Once I go ahead and click on that
- 3:27link, it's going to bring me to this
- 3:28landing page right here. From here, just
- 3:30go ahead and click on build my free
- 3:31store, [music] and now we're going to go
- 3:33ahead and set up our account with our
- 3:34name, our email, and our password. Now,
- 3:36after giving it that information, you
- 3:38can see that this next screen is going
- 3:39to say, "We want you to go ahead and
- 3:40pick a niche." And if you already know
- 3:42what your focus is, you can go ahead and
- 3:43select that option right here. But if
- 3:44you're completely undecided or brand
- 3:46new, do not stress. Just go ahead and
- 3:48select I'm not sure, [music] and then
- 3:50and done. Now that that's selected, the
- 3:51next screen is going to have us choose
- 3:53these homepage banners. And here we just
- 3:55want to keep it clean and simple. We
- 3:57don't want to overthink this. And I'm
- 3:58going to go ahead and choose these two
- 3:59options right here for now because we
- 4:01can actually come in and completely
- 4:03switch these out later once we go ahead
- 4:04and find our final product. So this is
- 4:06[music] kind of like a placeholder. Now
- 4:08that those are selected, let's go ahead
- 4:09and hit done. And now the AI store
- 4:10builder is going to go ahead and do its
- 4:12thing. Okay, perfect. Now that the
- 4:13builder has laid the foundation, we need
- 4:15to activate our Shopify on the backend.
- 4:17This is what's going to connect your
- 4:18Shopify account to this store builder.
- 4:20So to do that, let's go ahead and click
- 4:21activate Shopify. And now you see it's
- 4:23going to take us to this special page.
- 4:25And this is a deal that you cannot find
- 4:26anywhere else. It's going to give you a
- 4:27free trial and then now for your next 3
- 4:30months it's going to allow you to only
- 4:31pay $1 a month. So to activate that
- 4:34special deal, all you have to do is just
- 4:35log into your account, pick the basic
- 4:36plan, enter your billing details, and
- 4:39then hit subscribe. [music] So now once
- 4:40that's active, we now have our Shopify
- 4:42account and now we need to connect it to
- 4:43the store builder. So let's go ahead and
- 4:45go back to the builder and click done.
- 4:47So now from here all we have to do is
- 4:49just install the AI store builder app
- 4:50right onto the Shopify [music] backend.
- 4:52So just go ahead and click on install,
- 4:53verify your payment plan, and then click
- 4:55customize my store. Where you can see
- 4:57now in like literally less than 60
- 4:58seconds, the AI builds us out a
- 5:00beautiful, fully functional storefront
- 5:03complete with banners, sleek product
- 5:05layouts, and [music] clean typography. I
- 5:07mean it even has a smooth navigation
- 5:09menu. Where now you guys can see our
- 5:11store is officially live. And just like
- 5:13that, the hardest looking part is
- 5:16already behind you. You've got a real
- 5:17store now. The foundation is done. And
- 5:20your Shopify is set up. All from that
- 5:22one link in that simple setup. And look,
- 5:24I know some of you right now are itching
- 5:26to jump back and make that store look
- 5:28perfect right now. I know it, but don't.
- 5:30Just leave the design for later. And
- 5:32here's [music] why. You can always come
- 5:34back and build that store out once
- 5:35you're fully confident in your product.
- 5:37Because then you'll know exactly which
- 5:39product is working for you and exactly
- 5:41what angle is working. But that's only
- 5:43after you get done testing. I mean you
- 5:45cannot design the perfect store [music]
- 5:47before you've tested because then you
- 5:48don't even know yet what you're
- 5:50designing for. And don't worry, we cover
- 5:52the right way to build out your store
- 5:54[music] and test by the end of this
- 5:55video. But for now, let's go ahead and
- 5:57move forward because I want to show you
- 5:59how to actually find a winning product.
- 6:01In 2026, product research is no more
- 6:03scrolling [music] AliExpress and hoping
- 6:05that you spot something that looks
- 6:07viral. That is gambling. Real product
- 6:09research means using data so you know a
- 6:11product is already selling before
- 6:13[music] you spend a single dollar on
- 6:15ads. Because here's what happens when
- 6:16you skip that. You go out there, you
- 6:18pick something on a hunch, it flops, and
- 6:20then you blame the ads, the store,
- 6:21Shopify, the economy, when the truth is
- 6:24the product never had demand in the
- 6:26first place. So, instead of guessing, we
- 6:28use the product research tool that I
- 6:29recommend to all my students and still
- 6:31even use myself to this day, which is
- 6:33AutoDS. It scans [music] live data
- 6:35across thousands of stores, it looks at
- 6:37engagement, pricing, and ad performance.
- 6:39It even shows you which products are
- 6:41taking off before they get saturated.
- 6:43Let me go ahead and show you how to find
- 6:44one. So, once you clicked on the link
- 6:46below this video to get your AutoDS
- 6:47account set up, it's going to go ahead
- 6:49and get you connected to your store, and
- 6:51then right here you're going to land on
- 6:52the marketplace dashboard. So, the first
- 6:54thing you want to do is check your
- 6:56settings at the top to make sure that
- 6:57you're targeting the right currency and
- 6:59the right shipping areas like the
- 7:01[music] United States. Now, instead of
- 7:03blindly guessing what might sell, we can
- 7:05actually use this section right here
- 7:07called the TikTok analytics tab. [music]
- 7:08As this section is going to be actively
- 7:10pulling crazy numbers of what's going
- 7:12viral right now. So, now that we clicked
- 7:14on this section, we can actually filter
- 7:15the data by niches like beauty and
- 7:17personal care and a bunch of other
- 7:19niches. We can also check the top
- 7:20selling products over the last 7 to 30
- 7:22days. And this is actually how I just
- 7:24spotted this product right here, which
- 7:25is the Skin [music] Tific Peptide
- 7:27Nourishing Lip Serum Set. And I'm seeing
- 7:29right now, I mean, this thing is going
- 7:30insane. I mean, it has a crazy amount of
- 7:32volume, it's a hot trend, and I mean, it
- 7:34has incredible proof of concept. And
- 7:36look, if we actually come in here and
- 7:37look at the product insights inside
- 7:38AutoDS, right now it is pulling in over
- 7:4168,000
- 7:42total [music] units sold. It's
- 7:44generating massive GMV and the numbers
- 7:47are completely verified. We buy it at a
- 7:49low cost and then it leaves us a ton of
- 7:51[music] room for profit margins. And
- 7:53that's the information that we need to
- 7:54fully validate this product, so I'm cool
- 7:55with moving forward with this. From
- 7:57here, all we have to do is just click
- 7:58import draft. This is going to load it
- 8:00straight into our product drafts [music]
- 8:01page right here, where we can now see
- 8:03all of our variants, our images, and
- 8:05even our [music] item specifications.
- 8:07And then once we like everything we see
- 8:08in here, we can go ahead and import this
- 8:10to our store. And because you already
- 8:11connected AutoDS to the store that
- 8:13[music] we just built out earlier, now
- 8:14AutoDS is going to instantly sync the
- 8:16entire thing and move this product into
- 8:18our Shopify products list. And look,
- 8:21because you made it this far, I don't
- 8:23want you to be starting from a blank
- 8:24page. And as a beginner, especially with
- 8:26a limited budget, I know how hard it is
- 8:28to find a winning product. So, my team
- 8:30and I already did the hard work for you.
- 8:32Right below this video, you're going to
- 8:34find my top 10 winning products list of
- 8:36all winning products that are working
- 8:37right now. And these products were
- 8:39already vetted and validated, so you've
- 8:41got proven options to start testing from
- 8:43day one. And I mean, these are like the
- 8:45same type of products that just took my
- 8:46student Jacob, [music] a 14-year-old
- 8:48kid, from zero to $60,000 in his first 3
- 8:52months. So, trust me when [music] I say
- 8:53it's definitely worth checking out.
- 8:55Okay, so at this point, after looking
- 8:56through all the data on AutoDS, we know
- 8:59that we have found a winning product.
- 9:00And we have a product that shows that
- 9:02there's common interest and people are
- 9:04actually [music] buying it right now.
- 9:05But I need you to understand something
- 9:07and here's the trap that nobody warns
- 9:09you about. Finding a winning [music]
- 9:10product and actually being able to
- 9:12deliver it are two completely different
- 9:14things. And the second one, that's
- 9:16[music] where stores quietly die. And
- 9:18that's sourcing and fulfillment. Meaning
- 9:20where the product [music] actually is
- 9:21coming from and how it gets your
- 9:23customer's door once they order. And
- 9:25it's the part that most beginners
- 9:26completely overlook. They make the sale,
- 9:29then they realize that their supplier is
- 9:30slow, unreliable, and shipping takes
- 9:33over a month. And suddenly, they're
- 9:35They're
- 9:35in refund requests. That's why this is
- 9:37so important because even if you have
- 9:39the greatest product in the world, if
- 9:41you have bad fulfillment, you will still
- 9:42end up with a dead [music] store. That's
- 9:44why the tool that I use for this is Team
- 9:46Drop. They are a reliable supplier and
- 9:48honestly, my top choice for drop
- 9:51shipping. And it's because they use AI
- 9:52to connect you with better suppliers,
- 9:54lock in factory pricing, and gets you
- 9:56fast delivery times without you having
- 9:58to [music] scramble. Now, real quick
- 9:59disclaimer, heads up before we actually
- 10:01dive into this, is that this isn't the
- 10:03exact product that I showed you a few
- 10:04minutes ago. I actually did a little bit
- 10:06more research and some digging and I saw
- 10:07that this is one that a bunch of
- 10:09competitors are actually running right
- 10:11now. And when everybody's quietly
- 10:12rolling with the same product, that's
- 10:14usually for a reason. [music] And
- 10:16margins on this really aren't that bad
- 10:17either. So, I think this is going to be
- 10:18the one that I'm going to go ahead and
- 10:19go with, but let me go ahead and walk
- 10:21you through it. Now, before we finalize
- 10:22our lip serum, we want to clear out any
- 10:24random stock or sample items that the AI
- 10:26builder might have loaded up. So, to do
- 10:28that, let's head over here to the
- 10:29Shopify products [music] tab, select any
- 10:31old placeholder items, hit the three
- 10:33dots, and then click delete [music]
- 10:35products so that you have a clean slate.
- 10:36Now, what we want to do is jump back
- 10:38over here to Team Drop portal and click
- 10:40store management on the left menu, and
- 10:42then select authorize store. So, let's
- 10:44go ahead and hit this little blue button
- 10:45right here that says add store, choose
- 10:47Shopify, and then click authorize.
- 10:49[music]
- 10:49And what this is doing is it's instantly
- 10:52linking your specific storefront to Team
- 10:54Drop's massive premium supplier network.
- 10:57So, now that we have these connected,
- 10:58let's go ahead and click on find a
- 10:59product to now look up our winner. And
- 11:01here you can search directly or just
- 11:03select from their curated catalog. But,
- 11:05here's our product right here, the
- 11:06hydrating lip gloss with mirror shine.
- 11:08And the base cost with this product is
- 11:10incredibly low. I mean, we're talking
- 11:11like what? A dollar and 64 cents, giving
- 11:13us [music] a huge profit potential here.
- 11:16So, once we go ahead and click into the
- 11:17item, we want to make sure that we
- 11:18choose our synchronized [music] store
- 11:20from the drop down, select our category
- 11:22tags like makeup and health and
- 11:24wellness. And you can even come in here
- 11:25and refine the product title to keep it
- 11:27clean, like hydrating lip gloss with
- 11:30glossy finish. [music] Lastly, we want
- 11:32to go ahead and click over to the
- 11:33variants pricing tab. And now Team Drop
- 11:34is going to show you the exact product
- 11:36[music] cost and shipping fee directly
- 11:38to the United States. So, now we want to
- 11:40go ahead and simply enter our desired
- 11:42retail price. [music] Now, if you don't
- 11:43know what you should be selling this
- 11:44product for, what you should just do to
- 11:46make it easy is take a median of what
- 11:49the market is currently selling it at.
- 11:50Now, I just went to Google, I typed the
- 11:52product in, I saw multiple people
- 11:53selling it at like 27, 29, 32, 33. So,
- 11:58what I think I'm going to go and price
- 11:59this at is right around like $29.70,
- 12:02[music] which is going to help us lock
- 12:03in a massive profit margin on this
- 12:05product. So, now that we have that
- 12:07entered, let's go ahead and click apply
- 12:08to all and then hit confirm. [music]
- 12:10Now, just go ahead and click list now at
- 12:11the bottom, and what's going to happen
- 12:13is Team Drop is now going to
- 12:15automatically push this live item, the
- 12:17descriptions, and high-quality images
- 12:19straight into your active store [music]
- 12:21page. And just like that, the one thing
- 12:24that quietly kills more stores than
- 12:25anything, which is bad fulfillment, is
- 12:28the one piece that you no longer have to
- 12:30worry about. [music] Which means we
- 12:32finally earned the fun part. Now, you
- 12:34remember that bare-bones store that we
- 12:35threw up in 5 minutes and then just like
- 12:37walked away from? Well, now we're going
- 12:39to revisit that and you're going to see
- 12:41why I made you wait. Because this is the
- 12:43moment [music] that it stops being a
- 12:44template and starts really becoming
- 12:46yours. And it hits completely different
- 12:48now, because now we're not going to be
- 12:49sitting here designing for a guess
- 12:50anymore. We're going to be building the
- 12:52store around the [music] exact product
- 12:53that the data already proved. Where
- 12:55every single choice that we make from
- 12:56here has a real reason behind it.
- 12:58Because here's the thing that you have
- 13:00to understand is that if your store
- 13:01looks like a generic drop shipping site,
- 13:03customers are going to bounce before
- 13:05they even read a single word. And when a
- 13:06visitor does come to your website, trust
- 13:08gets decided in the first 2 seconds.
- 13:09[music]
- 13:10So, what we're going to do right here
- 13:11right now is give this store a real
- 13:14identity. So, first thing that we're
- 13:16going to do is the logo and the favicon,
- 13:17[music] swapping out the default
- 13:18placeholder for something that actually
- 13:21matches our product and our vibe. And
- 13:22the main focus here is that you want
- 13:24someone to land on your store and
- 13:25immediately [music] feel like this is a
- 13:27real brand, not a side project that
- 13:29somebody threw together overnight. Then,
- 13:32the colors. Now, here what we're going
- 13:33to do is we're going to go through the
- 13:34theme and make sure everything is
- 13:36consistent. The buttons,
- 13:37>> [music]
- 13:37>> the headers, the accents, all tied to
- 13:39one cohesive palette that fits the
- 13:41product that we're selling. Nothing
- 13:43random, nothing that clashes. [music]
- 13:45And now we move on to the fonts next.
- 13:47Small thing, but it matters. And here
- 13:49the main focus is to keep it clean,
- 13:50readable, and on brand. [music] Now, the
- 13:52product images. And this is where most
- 13:54people are lazy and it definitely
- 13:56[music] shows. What we're going to do is
- 13:58we're going to be selecting the best
- 13:59angles, removing anything that looks
- 14:01cheap, and making sure that the first
- 14:02image a customer [music] sees is the one
- 14:04that makes them stop scrolling. And then
- 14:06to the product page itself. This is the
- 14:08big one. Now, one thing you need to
- 14:09understand is that your product page is
- 14:11your salesperson. It never sleeps, it
- 14:13never has a bad day, and it's either
- 14:15convincing people or it's not. So, we're
- 14:17going all in. A headline that speaks to
- 14:19the problem that this product solves,
- 14:21bullet points that answer the questions
- 14:23before the customers even think to ask
- 14:24them, a description that builds trust,
- 14:26and a call to action that's impossible
- 14:28[music] to miss. A good product page can
- 14:30take an average product and make it feel
- 14:32premium. A bad product page, though, can
- 14:34kill a great product. So, we definitely
- 14:36do not want to rush this [music] part.
- 14:38And just like that, it doesn't look like
- 14:40a drop shipping store anymore. It looks
- 14:42like a real brand. And I mean, take a
- 14:44second and really look at what you've
- 14:45got now. A live store, a validated
- 14:47product, and fulfillment handled. Most
- 14:49people who start this never make it past
- 14:51step one, and you're already here. And
- 14:53the word brand [music] is exactly why we
- 14:56need to pump the brakes for about 60
- 14:57seconds before we send a single customer
- 15:00to it. Because when I first started
- 15:01actually making money with this, [music]
- 15:02I had the store, I had sales coming in,
- 15:04but on paper, my business didn't even
- 15:06exist. [music] No LLC, no structure,
- 15:09nothing. And that's a mistake that a lot
- 15:11of people make early on. So, what I want
- 15:13to do is I want to put you on to
- 15:14something that I genuinely wish that I
- 15:15had when I first [music] started out,
- 15:17and it's called Tailor Brands. And this
- 15:19is super simple. You literally just go
- 15:20into the platform, type in your business
- 15:22name, answer a few questions about where
- 15:24you're operating and what stage [music]
- 15:25you're at, and then it builds you a
- 15:26personalized dashboard based off your
- 15:28answers, showing you exactly what you
- 15:30still need set up, like either your LLC
- 15:32or your licenses, all of it. And it's
- 15:34not just the LLC. You also get a
- 15:36business plan, coaching, legal
- 15:38documents, invoices, bookkeeping,
- 15:40everything in one place, so you're not
- 15:42piecing it together from 10 different
- 15:43sources.
- 15:44>> [music]
- 15:44>> So, really, just think about it. If
- 15:46you're going to put in the work to build
- 15:47something real, you might as well
- 15:48protect it the right way from the start.
- 15:50And I'll go ahead and leave a link down
- 15:51in the description if you want to go
- 15:53ahead and set yours up right, too. So,
- 15:54now we have our store built, we have our
- 15:56business as official as possible, and
- 15:58the product is locked in, which leaves
- 16:00exactly one thing standing between
- 16:01[music] you and your first sale. And
- 16:03that's that right now, nobody's ever
- 16:05seen your product or your [music] store
- 16:07before. They don't even know that you
- 16:08exist. And getting people to see you,
- 16:10see your visibility, know that you
- 16:12exist, all comes down to one thing, and
- 16:14that's your creative. Now, if you don't
- 16:15know what a creative is, it's just the
- 16:17visual ad or the post that you put out
- 16:19that drives traffic to your website. And
- 16:21it's honestly the difference between a
- 16:22[music] product that just sits there and
- 16:24one that will legitimately sell. And
- 16:26this is where the foundation starts to
- 16:28break for beginners, is that they go in,
- 16:29they make one ad, they run it for 3
- 16:31days, it doesn't pop off, and then they
- 16:33sit there and decide that drop shipping
- 16:35doesn't work. No, that's just not how
- 16:37this works. [music] You can't come in
- 16:39here and think you can win off of one
- 16:40ad. You win by testing a bunch at the
- 16:42same time and letting the data tell you
- 16:44which ones are actually working, which
- 16:46means that you will never, and I'm going
- 16:47to tell you straight up, never succeed
- 16:48[music] off of only one creative or ad.
- 16:50You're going to have to have multiple.
- 16:52And even be able to do this, you still
- 16:53need to create them fast, at volume, and
- 16:55without spending all your hard-earned
- 16:58money that you don't have on a whole
- 17:00production team. And look, there's a
- 17:01brand new tool called EComBoss
- 17:03specifically built to solve this exact
- 17:06problem. [music] Where all you have to
- 17:07do is just go into the platform, drop in
- 17:09your product link or your competitor's
- 17:10link, and then it generates
- 17:11premium-looking product images and AI
- 17:13video content. The kind [music] kind
- 17:15that used to take a full creative team
- 17:17hundreds of dollars to pull off. Let me
- 17:19show you exactly how to use it. So, the
- 17:20first step obviously is always going to
- 17:22be to sign up. And you can sign up with
- 17:23the link in the description to get 25%
- 17:24[music]
- 17:25off your first month. Once you do sign
- 17:26up and you have an account, you will
- 17:28then head over here to the project
- 17:29studio. And this is where we're going to
- 17:31go in and create our product assets.
- 17:32[music] And no, we're not going to be
- 17:33going for basic here. We're going to be
- 17:35going for premium. So, to get started
- 17:37with this, all you have to do is hit
- 17:38add, and then I'll go ahead and upload
- 17:39your product image. And since we're
- 17:41working with a beauty product, we want
- 17:42visuals that feel high-end right out So,
- 17:45all you have to do is just go in and
- 17:46click into the custom prompt and type
- 17:48something like silk fabric. And watch
- 17:50how instantly that changes the feel of
- 17:52the whole image. [music] That's the kind
- 17:54of aesthetic that stops somebody
- 17:55mid-scroll. From there, you can actually
- 17:57add in a water splash effect and match a
- 17:59color to your product where it's going
- 18:00to create this dynamic editor style shot
- 18:03that looks like a brand paid thousands
- 18:05for it. And all of these images that
- 18:06you're going to be able to create can be
- 18:07ran as ads and be added to your store to
- 18:09enhance it even more. But, it doesn't
- 18:11just stop there. Let's go ahead and
- 18:12click on the angle factory, and we're
- 18:14going to go and select Y Studio. And
- 18:16this is also going to be great to expand
- 18:17the amount of creative images that you
- 18:18have because this is going to give you
- 18:20multiple perspectives of the product
- 18:22automatically. [music] So, like
- 18:23different angles, different
- 18:24compositions. So, by the time that a
- 18:26customer does land on your product page,
- 18:27they've seen it from every direction,
- 18:29and they already trust what they're
- 18:31buying. But, that's only the first
- 18:33[music] part. The second part is where
- 18:35everything goes absolutely crazy from
- 18:38here. Now, we all know that we trust
- 18:39other people speaking about the
- 18:40products, right? If I'm going to be
- 18:42buying a product online, I want to see
- 18:43an ad of somebody using it that looks
- 18:45like me, that talks like me, that
- 18:47probably mimics a lot of my own life.
- 18:49And Econ Boss can be able to do all of
- 18:50that just from the product photos that
- 18:52you just created. [music] And that is
- 18:54through the AI video factory. So, this
- 18:56is going to be where we create UGC style
- 18:58video reviews without hiring a single
- 19:00creator. Where on average, you're going
- 19:02to be saving about $100 to $200 per
- 19:04video just by having this. So, all we
- 19:05have to do is first head over here to
- 19:07this website called Pexels. And this is
- 19:09a free website that gives you a bunch of
- 19:10different pictures and things that you
- 19:12can use. And what we're going to do is
- 19:13grab a clean face shot of a beauty model
- 19:15and upload it into the avatar slot. Now,
- 19:17You Can Boss also has a bunch of
- 19:19avatars, so you can also just use the
- 19:20ones that are already pre-uploaded in
- 19:22here. But, what this is doing is it's
- 19:23generating a real-looking person
- 19:25delivering your ad, not [music] a
- 19:26cartoon and not obviously AI. Something
- 19:29that feels authentic to actually
- 19:31perform. So, now that you've chosen your
- 19:32avatar, the next thing we need to do is
- 19:34type our script [music] into the audio
- 19:36text box. We want to go ahead and select
- 19:37happy English American for the tone and
- 19:39then go ahead and hit generate. And
- 19:40[music] now what it's going to do is
- 19:41it's going to render out a full video
- 19:43review with our product and our
- 19:44messaging that is going to be ready to
- 19:46test. [music] Now, one thing real quick
- 19:47is if you do run into a security policy
- 19:50error on this image, just go ahead and
- 19:51swap it out and regenerate. It will be
- 19:53an easy fix. But, here's the real move
- 19:55here. And that's that you don't want to
- 19:56only just make one version. Come in and
- 19:59use multiple different avatars,
- 20:00different demographics, different
- 20:02scripts, [music] because you don't know
- 20:03yet which audience is going to respond
- 20:05and you want to let the testing and the
- 20:07data tell you. But, once it's done
- 20:08processing, all you have to do is just
- 20:09hit download and now you've got
- 20:11everything. A polished product
- 20:12photography and a video ad [music] that
- 20:14is now ready to go. And that's the whole
- 20:16point of all of this. Even majority of
- 20:18things I'm teaching you today is putting
- 20:19you in a position where you're not
- 20:21guessing anymore. You've got real
- 20:22[music] assets built around a real
- 20:24product, going in front of real people.
- 20:26And now the data starts working [music]
- 20:28for you and not against you. So, now at
- 20:30this point, after getting a couple of
- 20:31ads created, you now should have
- 20:33scroll-stopping [music] creatives
- 20:34sitting right in your downloads. But,
- 20:36here's the thing. The creative that just
- 20:38sits there in your downloads is not
- 20:39going to make you a single dollar. It's
- 20:41got to get in front of the right people.
- 20:43And in the final step of what I'm about
- 20:44to teach you, there's one targeting
- 20:46setting that almost every beginner
- 20:47switches on, swearing that it makes them
- 20:49more precise, that's actually quietly
- 20:52killing the results. And I want you to
- 20:53keep that in the back of your mind,
- 20:55because I'm about to show you the exact
- 20:56moment it bites. And this is where it
- 20:58all comes together, because everything
- 21:00that we just built up to this point, the
- 21:01store, [music] the product, the
- 21:03fulfillment, the creative, none of it
- 21:05will make you a single dollar if nobody
- 21:07ever sees it. Traffic is the whole game
- 21:09here. And in 2026, that traffic comes
- 21:12from Meta Ads. Now, I know some of you
- 21:14guys hear Meta Ads and you immediately
- 21:16tense up.
- 21:16>> [music]
- 21:16>> You think it's complicated, expensive,
- 21:18easy to mess up. And yeah, that is true
- 21:21if you go in blind. But I'm not about to
- 21:23sit here and send you in blind. I'mma
- 21:24break it all down step-by-step as easy
- 21:26as possible. And heads up, this next
- 21:28part has the most moving pieces of the
- 21:30whole video. So, if you're building
- 21:31along, keep the tab open and pause me
- 21:34whenever you need. Cuz I'm not going
- 21:35anywhere. So, let's go ahead and jump
- 21:36into this. I'mma walk you through
- 21:37exactly how I set up a campaign [music]
- 21:38from scratch. Okay, so before we even
- 21:40think about launching, the first thing
- 21:42we need to do is just head into our ads
- 21:43manager and set up our columns. Because
- 21:46what you're going to see is that the
- 21:46default view that Meta gives you tells
- 21:49you almost nothing useful when it comes
- 21:51to the data. So, to be able to do this,
- 21:52what we want to do is go into our
- 21:54columns and customize it. And here's
- 21:55what you want to have visible. You want
- 21:57to have delivery, asset name, bid,
- 22:00reach, impressions, [music]
- 22:01frequency, click-through rate, cost per
- 22:04click, CPM or cost per 1,000
- 22:06impressions, add to cart, checkouts
- 22:08initiated, purchases, amount spent, cost
- 22:12per purchase, and then [music] finally
- 22:14ROAS. And this is kind of what it should
- 22:15be looking like when it's set up. And
- 22:17this is what your dashboard should be
- 22:18replicating. When you have it looking
- 22:19like this, this is how you're going to
- 22:20know what is actually working. Now, I
- 22:22know I just named off a bunch of
- 22:23metrics, but let me go ahead and give
- 22:25you some benchmarks. Now, a few
- 22:26different numbers that you want to keep
- 22:27in mind as you're running is that you
- 22:28want to have a click-through rate at
- 22:292.5% or higher. And in simpler terms,
- 22:32that just means that people are seeing
- 22:33your ad and they're legitimately
- 22:34clicking on it and watching it. And
- 22:36that's exactly what you want. Also, you
- 22:38want to keep your cost per click under a
- 22:39dollar if you can, which is just how
- 22:40much it's costing for somebody to click
- 22:42into your ad. And if your cost per 1,000
- 22:44impressions, you want this to be
- 22:45anywhere between like 15 and 25 dollars.
- 22:48That's basically pretty healthy. [music]
- 22:49Now, for ROAS, here you want anything
- 22:51above 2.0 because that probably means
- 22:53that you're going to be in a good amount
- 22:54of profit. Now, depending on your
- 22:55margins, below a 1.1 or 1.2 [music]
- 22:58means that you're probably going to be
- 22:59losing money. So, you need to be able to
- 23:00know those numbers. Now that we got that
- 23:02out of the way, let's go ahead and build
- 23:03out the campaign. So, to do that, let's
- 23:05go ahead and hit create. And now, we
- 23:07want to go ahead and select sales as our
- 23:08objective, as we're not here for likes.
- 23:10We obviously want to try to get as many
- 23:11purchases as possible. Now, let's go
- 23:13ahead and turn on CBO, [music] which
- 23:15stands for campaign budget optimization.
- 23:17And what this does is it just lets Meta
- 23:18decide on how to split your budget
- 23:20between assets automatically, which is
- 23:22what we want when we're testing. Now, we
- 23:24need to go ahead and set our daily
- 23:25budget, and here you can go with
- 23:26anywhere between like $25 to $50 to
- 23:28start, depending on your budget. Now, we
- 23:30want to go ahead and name the campaign
- 23:32something like whatever your product
- 23:33name is {dash} [music] CBO. So, when
- 23:36you're looking at 10 campaigns later,
- 23:38because you're going to continue to keep
- 23:39scaling past this video, you're going to
- 23:41know [music] exactly what each one of
- 23:42these are. Now, let's head over here to
- 23:44the ad set level. And now, this is where
- 23:46we're going to set up who sees our ads
- 23:48and how [music] they're going to see it.
- 23:49So, let's go ahead and set our
- 23:50conversion location to website. For
- 23:52performance goal, we want to do maximize
- 23:54number of conversions. And now, we want
- 23:56to go ahead and connect our pixel
- 23:57[music]
- 23:57and set the conversion event to
- 23:59purchase. Now, if you don't have your
- 24:00pixel set up yet, that does need to
- 24:02happen before any of this, as that is
- 24:04what tracks every single sale back to
- 24:06your [music] ads. Now, for targeting, we
- 24:07want to go ahead and start off with
- 24:08United States and go ahead and start off
- 24:10with English. And here's something that
- 24:11people try to fight me on, and that's
- 24:13that you should be leaving detailed
- 24:15targeting completely blank. And I know,
- 24:18it feels like you're being more precise
- 24:20when you fill it in and you go ahead and
- 24:22put in the target audience that you
- 24:23think you should be targeting. But in
- 24:24reality, it's only hurting you, because
- 24:26you're really just limiting Meta's AI
- 24:28from finding you real buyers. So, the
- 24:30goal here is a let it work. You have to
- 24:32understand that Meta's AI is backed by
- 24:33billions of dollars in ad spend and
- 24:35data, so it's way smarter than you and
- 24:37me. Now that we left that open, let's go
- 24:39ahead and set our start time for
- 24:40midnight the next day, so we can get a
- 24:42full 24 hours of data from day one. And
- 24:44now, we're going to go ahead and move on
- 24:45to the creative. And this is the part
- 24:47that actually [music] determines whether
- 24:49you win or if you lose. Now, here we're
- 24:51going to be running three different
- 24:52angles. And I want you to think of an
- 24:54angle as the the that you're selling
- 24:55through. And our angles that we're going
- 24:57to be doing are before and after,
- 24:58problem and solution, and a visual demo.
- 25:01Which [music] simply is just three
- 25:02different ways of talking about the same
- 25:04product to three different types of
- 25:06buyer groups. And [music] for each angle
- 25:08that we try to target, we want to upload
- 25:10three to five videos, which is going to
- 25:12come out to like 10 to 15 ads total
- 25:14going into this campaign before [music]
- 25:16we even launch. That's how you get the
- 25:18best opportunity of succeeding out the
- 25:20gate. That's how you get sales starting
- 25:22off day one. So, to get this set up,
- 25:23what we want to go ahead and do is
- 25:24select single image or video, and then
- 25:26click on manual upload. Now, before you
- 25:27do anything else, what we want to do is
- 25:29turn off multi-advertiser ads, product
- 25:31catalog, and enhancements. All of those
- 25:34just add clutter around your ad that
- 25:36pulls attention away from your creative,
- 25:37and we don't want any of that. Now, what
- 25:39we want to go ahead and do is set our
- 25:40call to action to be in shop now across
- 25:42every single ad. Keeping it consistent,
- 25:43[music] clean, and direct. Now, let's go
- 25:45ahead and set up our URL parameters.
- 25:47Campaign, ad set, and [music] ad name.
- 25:49Now, if you don't know what URL
- 25:50parameters are, this is just how you see
- 25:52inside Shopify exactly which video is
- 25:55generating each individual sale if it
- 25:57doesn't show up on the ad side, which
- 25:59sometimes happens. So, it's kind of just
- 26:00having like a backup set up so you can
- 26:02be able to see all your data in two
- 26:04different places, allowing you to know
- 26:05that if one angle is killing it and the
- 26:07others aren't, well, you're going to see
- 26:08that and know exactly [music] why. So,
- 26:10make sure you go ahead and get that set
- 26:12up. Now, heading over here to your copy,
- 26:14and this is going to be like your
- 26:14primary text, [music] your headline, and
- 26:16your description. Now, here we want to
- 26:18use AI to generate 10 to 15 variations
- 26:20so you have one for each ad matched to
- 26:23that angle. Because you want your copy
- 26:24and your creative saying the same thing.
- 26:26So, they should feel like they're all in
- 26:28one single message together. [music]
- 26:29Now, going back to something very
- 26:31simple, you just want to name everything
- 26:32clearly so you know what is working and
- 26:34what's not. So, for example, I'm going
- 26:35to name this one angle one, video one,
- 26:38and then for the next one I'll just do
- 26:39angle one, video two, [music] and so on
- 26:41and so forth. Again, I know it sounds
- 26:43simple, but when you're like 3 days in
- 26:45and you're trying to read your data and
- 26:46optimize, keeping it clean like this
- 26:48will just save you so much time and
- 26:50effort. Now, once all 10 to 15 ads are
- 26:52built and put in, just review everything
- 26:54and now what we're going to do is go
- 26:55ahead and hit publish. And [music] now
- 26:56the campaign is officially running. From
- 26:59here, your job is just to check the
- 27:00numbers every day. Now, yes, the way
- 27:02that we set this up is that Meta CBO is
- 27:04going to be pushing and routing more of
- 27:06your budget towards whichever ads are
- 27:07performing, but you still need to be in
- 27:09there and know what is going on. Cuz you
- 27:11don't want any ad burning spin with a
- 27:13high cost per [music] purchase and
- 27:14nothing to show for it. You just want to
- 27:16turn that type of thing off. So, your
- 27:17main job is to protect the budget
- 27:19[music] and to let the winners run. So,
- 27:21this is what testing actually looks
- 27:23like. Not one ad and just hoping for the
- 27:25best, but 10 to 15 creatives, three
- 27:27angles, and real data telling you what's
- 27:29working inside [music] of the first
- 27:30week. That's how you find your winner.
- 27:32And once you got it, that's when you're
- 27:33able to scale. And that is the full
- 27:35play. Everything [music]
- 27:37that you need to make your first sale,
- 27:38even if you're limited on time or
- 27:41limited on budget. So, just recap, we
- 27:43just built out the store, found your
- 27:45winning product, created high-quality AI
- 27:47UGC ads for a fraction of the cost that
- 27:49it typically takes you to real creators,
- 27:50and even launch our first round of ads.
- 27:53And like I said earlier, I know that
- 27:55Facebook ads can be one of the most
- 27:56overwhelming things to learn when first
- 27:58starting [music] out. But, you know I
- 28:00got you covered. So, on the screen right
- 28:02now, you're going to be seeing a
- 28:03beginner-friendly [music] step-by-step
- 28:04Facebook ad tutorial, teaching in-depth
- 28:06everything that I just showed, but in a
- 28:08way simpler tutorial [music] format. So,
- 28:10make sure you go and check that video
- 28:11out right after this. As always, thank
- 28:13you guys so much for watching. I'll see
- 28:15you in that next one. This is AC with
- 28:17Supreme Ecom, and [music] I'm out.
