  1. 0:00After making hundreds of shorts, I've
  2. 0:02learned exactly how to source content
  3. 0:03for my YouTube shorts. Today, I'm going
  4. 0:05to show you the four methods that I use
  5. 0:06to source content for viral shorts.
  6. 0:12Yo, what's going on YouTube? It's your
  7. 0:13boy Halls. Welcome back to another
  8. 0:15video. Today, I'm just going to be doing
  9. 0:17a little sit down little yap video um
  10. 0:19and showing you guys how to actually
  11. 0:21source content for your YouTube shorts.
  12. 0:23So, if you're watching this video, you
  13. 0:24probably started up a YouTube shorts uh
  14. 0:27channel, but you don't know how to
  15. 0:29actually source your content. And this
  16. 0:30is a question that I have gotten so much
  17. 0:33like, "Yo, Halls, how do I actually get
  18. 0:34the content to edit? Halls, I started a
  19. 0:36channel, but I don't know where to get
  20. 0:37my content." Um, so I'm going to be
  21. 0:40going over the four methods that I have
  22. 0:42been using um to actually source my
  23. 0:44content. So, in Halls Academy, I
  24. 0:46actually made a whole guide about it,
  25. 0:48but I want to share it to you guys um
  26. 0:50here on the channel. Um, as you can see,
  27. 0:52you guys are killing it. So, yeah. Like
  28. 0:55I said, this video is for you guys that
  29. 0:56want to learn how to actually source the
  30. 0:59content. So, let's get into it. Before
  31. 1:00we get into it, though, um, if you guys
  32. 1:02need a free Discord, go ahead and join

  45. 1:28nexusclipips.com will take care of all
  46. 1:30of that for you. All you have to do is
  47. 1:32upload the long form video that you want
  48. 1:34to use and tell the AI what parts of
  49. 1:36that video you want to focus on. You're
  50. 1:38going to save yourself tons of time
  51. 1:39because the AI will just automatically
  52. 1:41make a short video for you. And the best
  53. 1:43part is is that you can customize your
  54. 1:44colors, the subtitles, the watermark,
  55. 1:47everything is done for you. So, all you
  56. 1:49have to do is upload your long- form
  57. 1:50video. It will make a viral short form
  58. 1:52video for you and you can just choose
  59. 1:54the subtitles you want, the titles you
  60. 1:56want, and the watermark. So, if you're
  61. 1:58tired of spending hours editing a short,
  62. 2:00you can hop on nexusclipips.com before
  63. 2:02it's too late. The link will be down in
  64. 2:03the description, and you can use the
  65. 2:04code halls for 10% off. But yeah, let's
  66. 2:07get right into the video. Method number
  67. 2:09one, and this is a method that I
  68. 2:11actually talked about like two videos
  69. 2:13ago, which is where I showed you guys
  70. 2:14how I made $500 from a single YouTube
  71. 2:16short. and it was the method that I
  72. 2:19used. And this is basically going into
  73. 2:20the credits. So, right now I'm on my
  74. 2:22burner account. And this account is
  75. 2:24really where I just source um or get
  76. 2:26ideas for YouTube shorts that I can
  77. 2:28make. And you'll see that if you click
  78. 2:30on the three dots and then go to
  79. 2:31description, a lot of people will
  80. 2:33actually credit the original video. So,
  81. 2:35let's say you want to use this video
  82. 2:36right here and make your own short about
  83. 2:38it. Um you can go to the uh to three
  84. 2:42dots, go to the description, and then a
  85. 2:44lot of people will actually credit the
  86. 2:46original. So you don't have to go out
  87. 2:48and like find it yourself, right? Which
  88. 2:50if they don't, I'm going to be sharing
  89. 2:52methods for that as well later on in the
  90. 2:54video. But this is the easiest way.
  91. 2:56Literally just people will give it to
  92. 2:58you. Then all you want to do is right
  93. 3:00here, as you can see, it says slash IG,
  94. 3:02which means it's on um Instagram. And
  95. 3:04then, as you can see, I was already
  96. 3:05doing this method earlier. By the way,
  97. 3:07I'm doing this all live right now. I'm
  98. 3:09not even like planning this just to show
  99. 3:11you guys um how like efficient these
  100. 3:14are. And then right here, you found this
  101. 3:16guy's channel, I mean page. And then you
  102. 3:18just want to look through this and then
  103. 3:21find the original. One upside like one
  104. 3:23good thing about Tik Tok though is that
  105. 3:25if for example your video that you're
  106. 3:28looking for says slash uh is it usually
  107. 3:31says Tik Tok or TT. Um, Tik Tok actually
  108. 3:34lets you like sort the the videos by
  109. 3:37most popular because what a lot of these
  110. 3:40uh big channels that do commentary do is
  111. 3:42they'll literally just look through
  112. 3:44super viral videos, get those videos,
  113. 3:46and then commentate over them. So,
  114. 3:48usually it's the ones with the most
  115. 3:49views. I want to see if I can find this
  116. 3:51one real quick because if not, I'm going
  117. 3:52to feel like a failure, but it should be
  118. 3:54somewhere here. Sometimes it gets
  119. 3:56annoying through Instagram. Um, but
  120. 3:59don't worry, more methods um coming, but
  121. 4:01I want to show you guys. Let's do
  122. 4:03another one. Let me keep scrolling and
  123. 4:04then I want to see if I can find another
  124. 4:06one. So, this guy, as you can see, boom,
  125. 4:08there's another um video right here that
  126. 4:11we can potentially source. Then just go
  127. 4:13to Instagram and then paste in your what
  128. 4:16is it called? The at the SA writer. Um
  129. 4:20or sometimes they'll even have them
  130. 4:22pinned. Here it is. Look. So, I found
  131. 4:24this video right here, which we were
  132. 4:26looking at right here. And it's as easy
  133. 4:28as that. then you just download it and
  134. 4:30then make your own commentary over it
  135. 4:32because we're not copying people. Um,
  136. 4:35and just to clear it up, we're not
  137. 4:37stealing content. We're simply
  138. 4:39repurposing it. Repurposing it. Um,
  139. 4:42following YouTube's guidelines. I can't
  140. 4:43even talk. But this is the first method.
  141. 4:46This is a very good one. And if you guys
  142. 4:48do make YouTube shorts uh with
  143. 4:50commentary, go ahead and credit the
  144. 4:52original owner in the description. It's
  145. 4:54the least you can do. And you can also
  146. 4:57let people also use that video. So don't
  147. 4:59be stingy with it. And um this is the
  148. 5:02first method um which is literally just
  149. 5:05scrolling through YouTube shorts on a
  150. 5:07burner account or whatever going to the
  151. 5:10description and then finding it. But
  152. 5:11what about these right here that you
  153. 5:13can't actually find them? We're going to
  154. 5:14get to this method uh real quick. Um but
  155. 5:17the second method is literally search.
  156. 5:19Um, and this might be self-explanatory,
  157. 5:21but search is you got to understand that
  158. 5:24if you're running a YouTube shorts
  159. 5:25channel, um, you got to be ready to put
  160. 5:28the work in to look for content. But
  161. 5:30it's not hard. It's really not hard. So,
  162. 5:31let me show you guys this example. Like
  163. 5:33I said, these are all live examples. So,
  164. 5:36uh, for those that don't know, I have
  165. 5:37this uh I run this channel called
  166. 5:39Infinite Cars, which right now I'm
  167. 5:40trying to revive it with 41K subs. Um, I
  168. 5:44documented this channel on this channel
  169. 5:47and um, earlier today I was actually
  170. 5:50sourcing content for it, right? And
  171. 5:51Instagram, I know that Instagram is such
  172. 5:53a good place for car content and
  173. 5:56depending on your niche, you guys will
  174. 5:58understand like what is like the the
  175. 6:00best platform for your niche. For
  176. 6:02example, I can tell you guys that
  177. 6:04Instagram is the best for car content.
  178. 6:05Literally, car content is everywhere on
  179. 6:08Instagram. And this method actually has
  180. 6:09two in one. So, it's not just the search
  181. 6:11method. So, with the search method comes
  182. 6:14something else, right? So, like I was
  183. 6:15telling you guys, um I was actually
  184. 6:17doing some research and I was looking
  185. 6:19for um videos about Mustangs, right? And
  186. 6:22I came across this video on Instagram.
  187. 6:24So, I literally just went to the search
  188. 6:25page and searched up um for example, I
  189. 6:28searched up Mustang Crash or something,
  190. 6:30right? And then I searched it up, looked
  191. 6:32through the reals and found this one,
  192. 6:34right? So, I came across this one. Now,
  193. 6:36the beautiful thing about the search
  194. 6:37method is that you can find mine pages.
  195. 6:39And what those are is basically I found
  196. 6:41this one. If you go to the page, what do
  197. 6:44you know? This is a full page about
  198. 6:46cars. And this is what I like to call
  199. 6:48mine page. I don't know if I came up
  200. 6:49with this um term, but I'm not sure.
  201. 6:51Correct me if I'm wrong. But you can you
  202. 6:53guys can find mine pages. So, as you can
  203. 6:55see, this um this page right here,
  204. 6:59sorry, has a bunch of car content that I
  205. 7:02can use for my car channel. Where is it
  206. 7:04at? This right here. And if I have a
  207. 7:07channel about um let's say boxing, you
  208. 7:11can easily find mine pages about boxing
  209. 7:13as well if you just search up uh boxing
  210. 7:16moments, look through some reals, and
  211. 7:19then go to the pages. And look, I look,
  212. 7:21for example, if I was making a video
  213. 7:22about a Ferrari, there's a video of this
  214. 7:25Ferrari that's broken down. And this can
  215. 7:27be such a good video, whether I want to
  216. 7:29edit it or add some commentary over it,
  217. 7:31be like, "Watch the moment this Ferrari
  218. 7:33broke down because the owner thought
  219. 7:34blah blah blah." you know, all the BS
  220. 7:36little commentaries and stuff like that.
  221. 7:39Um, but this is essentially what a mine
  222. 7:41page is. And then I also have another
  223. 7:44now. And then I also have a an example
  224. 7:46for Tik Tok, right? So, uh, this is a
  225. 7:49video that I was looking for to source
  226. 7:51for my military channel, which you guys
  227. 7:53have seen as well. And if you go to this
  228. 7:56guy's page, this guy doesn't have like
  229. 7:58specifically a military channel. Um, but
  230. 8:00you guys understand the point. There's
  231. 8:02military content on it, right? And these
  232. 8:04are all videos that I can use for my
  233. 8:06military channel. So, I hope this is
  234. 8:08making sense. From search, you can find
  235. 8:10mine pages, which are these, which is I
  236. 8:13can't even talk, which are pages that
  237. 8:15just post about a certain niche, right?
  238. 8:16Because this page right here only posts
  239. 8:19about cars. Um, this page right here has
  240. 8:21a lot of military content. And that's
  241. 8:24basically just giving you like free free
  242. 8:27content for you to use because like I
  243. 8:29said, look, there's more Mustang videos.
  244. 8:31if I'm making Mustang videos. Um, and
  245. 8:34the best part is is that a lot of them
  246. 8:36like post good moments that you can use.
  247. 8:38It's not even like you have to filter
  248. 8:39these. I bet you 80% of these videos are
  249. 8:42viral uh content, viral worthy content.
  250. 8:45Yeah. But um yeah, man. This is method
  251. 8:48number two. So, keep in mind um this
  252. 8:51method actually has two in it. So, the
  253. 8:53first one is going to the description
  254. 8:55and finding their and the second one is
  255. 8:58just using search. Uh by the way, this
  256. 9:00is not only on Instagram. You can do
  257. 9:01this on Tik Tok and YouTube as well. So,
  258. 9:03if your channel is dedicated to making
  259. 9:05car content like mine, you can search up
  260. 9:06on YouTube car crash fails and then
  261. 9:09source content from there. Um, because
  262. 9:11there's channels literally that only
  263. 9:13post car crashes and stuff like that.
  264. 9:14So, you guys get the point. Search and
  265. 9:16then find mine pages like these, which
  266. 9:18you can get so much more content from
  267. 9:20and so much more ideas from. Um, and
  268. 9:22these are literally not even like the
  269. 9:24best examples, guys. I've I've found
  270. 9:26like I'm yapping so much in this video,
  271. 9:28but I found super super good pages that
  272. 9:31you guys can get like like viral
  273. 9:34content, viral content, viral content,
  274. 9:36and it makes your life a whole lot
  275. 9:37easier if you're running um a lot of
  276. 9:39different faceless channels like me,
  277. 9:41car, cops, military, have so much more.
  278. 9:44Um and yeah, let's get into method
  279. 9:47number three, which is what I'm most
  280. 9:49excited for. This is uh pure sauce right
  281. 9:51here. Let me let me let me teach you
  282. 9:52guys this. So, this is when you're
  283. 9:54looking through and they actually don't
  284. 9:57credit the creator. Um, or you can't
  285. 10:00search for it because there is some
  286. 10:02videos where you can like, for example,
  287. 10:04um, this video I can probably search up
  288. 10:07uh, disabled man charges at cop and
  289. 10:09probably find the original. But, let's
  290. 10:11find a video that actually doesn't have
  291. 10:14the credits, right? All right. So, this
  292. 10:15is a perfect example right here. This is
  293. 10:17a video of this man getting arrested or
  294. 10:19something like that. Um, and let's say
  295. 10:21you can't find it. there's no credits or
  296. 10:23you search for it and you can't find it.
  297. 10:25Let me show you guys a trick. So, what
  298. 10:28you want to do is on the YouTube short,
  299. 10:29you want to find out like a good frame.
  300. 10:32Just find a good frame that you think
  301. 10:34that is like a key frame. So, don't do
  302. 10:37like do something that's recognizable.
  303. 10:39Like don't do this because obviously
  304. 10:41this is just a piece of the car, right?
  305. 10:42So, do something that you can tell what
  306. 10:44video it is, if that makes sense. Then
  307. 10:46what you want to do is go ahead and
  308. 10:48screenshot a frame of the YouTube short.
  309. 10:52Um, so I'm going to screenshot this
  310. 10:53right here. Um, and then search up
  311. 10:56reverse image search. So this is the
  312. 10:58reverse um, image search method. And
  313. 11:00this is a good good method that I've
  314. 11:02been using as well. Um, and then it's
  315. 11:04going to be this site called like duplic
  316. 11:06checker or something. And then just drag
  317. 11:07in your screenshot right here. So I'm
  318. 11:09going to do the exact same thing. All
  319. 11:10right. Once you put it in, just go ahead
  320. 11:12and put search uh similar images. And in
  321. 11:15an instant, it's basically going to find
  322. 11:17the original source for you. Um, what I
  323. 11:20like to do is go right here and then
  324. 11:21click on show matches on Google. Um, and
  325. 11:23then boom, look at this. You are finding
  326. 11:26it literally finds the videos for you.
  327. 11:29And then from here, you can just find,
  328. 11:31like I said, the original video. So, you
  329. 11:33can do like um I don't know why this is
  330. 11:35in Spanish, bro. I think this Google
  331. 11:36account is in Spanish, but um let me see
  332. 11:40this right here. Then just look through
  333. 11:42it and then find the original video and
  334. 11:43that's it literally. Um, so as you can
  335. 11:45see,
  336. 11:47I found I'm pretty sure I found the
  337. 11:49original video. Where's it at? All
  338. 11:51right. I think this is like a
  339. 11:52compilation.
  340. 11:54So, this is not good. But the good thing
  341. 11:56is that you can just like search through
  342. 11:59all of these. Um, sometimes Tik Tok will
  343. 12:01have them as well. So, just look through
  344. 12:03and find the original source. One tip I
  345. 12:06can give you guys is make sure that the
  346. 12:08original video is actually high quality.
  347. 12:11So, try to find the one with the best
  348. 12:12quality. Um,
  349. 12:15it should be somewhere here. I I don't
  350. 12:16want to go on Facebook, bro. Let me see
  351. 12:18what this site is. But basically, you
  352. 12:20guys get the point. Grab a screenshot of
  353. 12:22the of the YouTube short and then this
  354. 12:25right here will give you um basically
  355. 12:28the um the what is it called? The
  356. 12:31original video. I think it's this one
  357. 12:33right here. Yeah, perfect. Here it is.
  358. 12:36There you go. So, I found the original
  359. 12:37video. It took me a few tries, but you
  360. 12:39guys get the point. Usually, I'm a
  361. 12:40master at this and I get it the first
  362. 12:42try. Just kidding. It obviously takes a
  363. 12:44little bit of like you can't expect to
  364. 12:46source content super easily. It's very
  365. 12:48easy, but sometimes like earlier today I
  366. 12:51was sourcing a video and it took me a
  367. 12:53while to actually find a good like a
  368. 12:56good quality one cuz sometimes it'll
  369. 12:58give you like remixes if that makes
  370. 13:00sense of other people that have um other
  371. 13:03people that have actually what is it
  372. 13:05called? Um done the same video. But here
  373. 13:08it is that you just want to download it
  374. 13:10and then you can make yourself the same
  375. 13:12short right here.
  376. 13:14And I can show you guys and I can do
  377. 13:16this again with another short. It's very
  378. 13:18easy and this is a very good method to
  379. 13:20find videos that you can't find by
  380. 13:22yourself. So this is basically just
  381. 13:24using this website and then it'll give
  382. 13:26it for you. But yeah, those are the um
  383. 13:28the four methods that I use. Um the
  384. 13:30credit method, the search method, the
  385. 13:32mind page method, and then the reverse
  386. 13:34image uh search method. I think these
  387. 13:37are very solid and these will help you a
  388. 13:39lot. Um, like I had already told you
  389. 13:41guys, be patient. Find out what
  390. 13:43platforms have the best content for your
  391. 13:45channels. Um, and yeah, man. I hope you
  392. 13:48guys enjoyed this yap video. I I feel
  393. 13:50like this is the video where I most
  394. 13:51yapped in. But, um, I think it was
  395. 13:54helpful. I know this would have been
  396. 13:55helpful for me when I started. So, yeah,
  397. 13:58man. Keep building those channels. Keep
  398. 13:59making money. More videos on the way.
  399. 14:01I'm trying to be as consistent. Go ahead
  400. 14:03and join the free Discord down below.
