How to ACTUALLY Lock In (No Bullsh*t Guide) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Jeffrey decided that he's locking in.
- 0:02New notebook, new [music] gym routine,
- 0:04alarm at 5:00 a.m., unfollowed all of
- 0:06his girls, no more porn, no sugar, no
- 0:08video games. He's going to do 10 hours
- 0:10of deep work a day until he hits 10K a
- 0:12month. Hm. But it is 1:00 p.m. and he is
- 0:16still sleeping. Oh yes, he was watching
- 0:19YouTube videos late. Well, okay, young
- 0:21Jeffrey, you've messed up the morning.
- 0:23Maybe later. Oh, okay. He's decided that
- 0:26he's just going to [music] lock in next
- 0:28week instead. Oh, no. The week after
- 0:30that. Oh, okay. Next month. Oh, for noof
- 0:32fap November. Okay, that's a good time
- 0:33to start. Wait, Jeffrey, what? You're
- 0:35going to wait New Year's? Jeffrey.
- 0:37Adonis. Adonis is the most perfect, most
- 0:41beautiful, strongest man in the world.
- 0:44We all want to be like Adonis. But he
- 0:46[music] wasn't always like this. He
- 0:48needed to learn how to lock in as well.
- 0:51[music] It took years of trials and
- 0:52tribulations to get on track. But
- 0:54luckily for us, Adonis noted down the
- 0:56most important lessons in his journals.
- 0:58we can learn from him.
- 1:01>> I'm making this video for my younger
- 1:02self because I always wanted to be
- 1:04productive. I just didn't realize I was
- 1:06doing a few things wrong that was
- 1:07keeping me stuck as like this low status
- 1:11young man rather than achieving the
- 1:13potential that I know I had. Why every
- 1:16time you try to lock in, it is doomed.
- 1:19Streak thinking is one of the biggest
- 1:21problems to locking in. Streak thinking
- 1:23is when you place an emphasis on
- 1:26checking off the box every single day
- 1:28and if you miss a day, you think it's a
- 1:31big deal. You literally count, okay,
- 1:33it's been day one, day two, day three.
- 1:35Nofap really puts this on to young guys
- 1:38because you're told that if you're on
- 1:40nofap, okay, right now you're on day
- 1:41one, tomorrow you're on day two, the day
- 1:43after you're on day three. But if you
- 1:46relapse, you go back to day zero and
- 1:48you've lost all the benefits. That's not
- 1:51how self-improvement works. I'm
- 1:52surprised this like nofap streak
- 1:54mentality has gotten so viral because
- 1:57honestly, it's actually stupid as [ __ ]
- 1:59This is my physique. If I miss the gym
- 2:02today, am I on day zero and I lose all
- 2:04the benefits? No. Of course not. This is
- 2:07my business that you're watching. If I
- 2:09don't post a video today, have I lost
- 2:11all the benefits and I'm back on day
- 2:13zero? No. Of course not. And it's the
- 2:15same thing with all habits, right? Let's
- 2:16say if you have a bad day, like you go
- 2:18outside to go cold approach a girl and
- 2:20you fumble and you mess up. You're not
- 2:22on day zero again. You just had like a
- 2:25rejection. That's okay. But so many
- 2:27young guys get this streak thinking
- 2:29thinking that they've like reset their
- 2:30progress if they have like a bad day.
- 2:33Bro, we all have bad days. It's 5:30
- 2:35a.m. right now. I woke up at 4:30. I
- 2:38just wasted like almost like the first
- 2:39hour of the day just kind of like
- 2:41getting ready slowly. I'm a little bit
- 2:43tired, but here I am still recording.
- 2:45I'm still going to do what I need to do
- 2:46today. I'm not going to let like a bit
- 2:48of a slow start to the day change my
- 2:50mindset. And it's the same thing with
- 2:51you. Sometimes, bro, you will mess up.
- 2:54Sometimes you will miss the habit. But
- 2:56you need to change your mindset and have
- 2:57like honestly like a little bit of
- 2:58empathy for yourself. Now, look, if
- 3:00you've watched me for a while, you know,
- 3:01I'm not like someone who sugarcoats
- 3:03things. I'll call you a [ __ ] [ __ ]
- 3:06when you're being a [ __ ] Don't you
- 3:08[ __ ] worry about that. But I'm
- 3:09telling you right now, you have a bad
- 3:11day, you're not a [ __ ] for that.
- 3:14Seriously, bro. It's completely normal.
- 3:16We all do. The problem is you have a bad
- 3:19day, then you you catastrophize it. You
- 3:21know, you you like you make it a big
- 3:22deal in your mind, bigger than it needs
- 3:24to be. One bad day should cost you one
- 3:28bad day. Let's say you woke up and
- 3:31straight away you did the worst thing
- 3:32possible. You grab your phone, you start
- 3:34scrolling, whatever. Okay, fine. Then
- 3:36you jack off. You've relapsed on Novap
- 3:38and you ate bad food. Okay, sure. You
- 3:41didn't study. Okay, fine. But let's say
- 3:43it gets to like 400 p.m. 5:00 p.m. 6
- 3:46p.m. You can still change this day. You
- 3:49can still go get a couple of wins if you
- 3:50have a positive mindset. You can still
- 3:52go to the gym. You can still meditate.
- 3:54What you need to do is destroy this
- 3:56streak mindset. Or also another phrase
- 3:58for it is the all orno mindset. You
- 4:02think like, okay, the day is ruined, so
- 4:04I may as well go all out. I bet you
- 4:07think that, right? So many guys think
- 4:08that about self-improvement. Like if
- 4:10they've ate some bad food today, then
- 4:12they'll be like, "Oh, okay. I'll go all
- 4:14out and then tomorrow I'll go serious."
- 4:16No. Why would you just do extra damage?
- 4:19Like imagine we're driving a car and we
- 4:21realize we took the wrong turn. You
- 4:23know, we should have turned right or
- 4:24whatever. Okay, fine. Should we just
- 4:26like keep driving in the wrong direction
- 4:28when we realize we're going in the wrong
- 4:30direction? Oh, let's just speed up right
- 4:32now and oh, let's really go far this
- 4:34way, bro. Or should you just think, "Oh,
- 4:36we went the wrong direction. That's
- 4:38okay. Okay, pull over and let's just do
- 4:40a little U-turn. Why would we go further
- 4:43down the wrong direction? It's the same
- 4:46as like jacking off, like fapping,
- 4:47right? Okay, let's say you fap and
- 4:49you're not proud of it. Okay, fine. But
- 4:51then some guys will say, "Oh, well, I'm
- 4:52on day zero anyway, so I may as well go
- 4:54all out." And they'll go like six times
- 4:56in the same day. That doesn't make
- 4:58sense. It that that's like you've made
- 5:00it worse. It's not that like, "Oh, today
- 5:02is a loss, so one time and six times is
- 5:04the same thing." No, it's not. Six times
- 5:06is [ __ ] crazy. If you've messed up a
- 5:09little bit, that's completely normal. If
- 5:11you took the wrong turn, that's
- 5:12completely normal. Don't keep driving
- 5:14down that path cuz you're like, "Oh,
- 5:16well, I've messed up now." You know what
- 5:17what the real problem is here? This is
- 5:20just an issue of mental health. Many of
- 5:23us, we were punished. We were verbally
- 5:26abused, physically abused for making
- 5:28small mistakes in life. But it's up to
- 5:31us to stop this extreme response first
- 5:35for ourselves. But if you want to have
- 5:37children in the future, bro, you better
- 5:38be doing this right now. When you mess
- 5:41up slightly, allow it. If you drop
- 5:44something on the floor, clean it up. Why
- 5:46would you like drop something on the
- 5:48floor and then be like, "Oh, okay." And
- 5:50then just drop more on the floor. That's
- 5:52mental insanity. If you take the wrong
- 5:55turn, do a Uturn. Don't keep driving in
- 5:58the wrong direction. Speedy. Oh, well,
- 6:00I've already messed up now. I'm just
- 6:01going to keep driving this way. That's
- 6:03stupid. If you keep going like this,
- 6:06you're going to traumatize your children
- 6:07in the future. You do realize this,
- 6:09right? So, you better [ __ ] stop. You
- 6:11better stop cuz that's not the father
- 6:12that you want to be. You need to have
- 6:14more kindness for yourself that when you
- 6:17mess up, you don't have this all or
- 6:19nothing streak mindset anymore. Why you
- 6:22feel so tired? You feel so tired because
- 6:25you have unmade decisions in your mind.
- 6:28decisions that you're thinking about but
- 6:30that you've not fully made are so much
- 6:34more tiring than even a bad night of
- 6:36sleep or overtraining or anything. Like,
- 6:38think about it. You're probably a young
- 6:40guy. You're probably like 16 to 21, 22
- 6:42years old, right? You should be brimming
- 6:45with energy, but so many young people
- 6:48feel so tired. And I'm I promise you
- 6:51it's not because of like lack of sleep
- 6:53or any of these things that like doctors
- 6:54and scientists would say because I
- 6:56understand young men more than these
- 6:57doctors do. I know why you feel so tired
- 6:59and it's not because of sleep or diet or
- 7:02any of those things. I promise you it's
- 7:03not. You feel so tired because you have
- 7:06unmade decisions that are weighing you
- 7:08down every single day. You're trying to
- 7:11decide what business or career to get
- 7:13into. You're trying to decide what sport
- 7:15style or what training style to get
- 7:17into, what diet to get into, the kind of
- 7:19personality to have, the way you
- 7:21interact with people. You have all these
- 7:23unmade decisions and you're not making
- 7:26these decisions because of insecurity
- 7:29because to make a decision is to cut off
- 7:31the other options. And you are still in
- 7:33boy psychology. You don't want to cut
- 7:35off the other options because it makes
- 7:37you feel safe like mommy did, right?
- 7:39You're like in boy psychology clutching
- 7:41onto like the the mother kind of energy
- 7:44of like, "Oh, but mommy, I don't want to
- 7:46make the decision. I want it all,
- 7:47mommy." But you have to make the
- 7:49decision. Which career are you going to
- 7:52go down? Which business are you going to
- 7:53go down? Which style of training and
- 7:56diet is going to be the one that you
- 7:58really just commit to for a at least a
- 8:00little while? You need to decide what
- 8:02your goals are. But the thing is, you're
- 8:04probably not good at making decisions
- 8:06just yet. And so, honestly, let me just
- 8:09make them for you. I will just tell you
- 8:11the goals that brings guys into a good
- 8:14life when they're quite young. Here they
- 8:15are. you can just go all in on them and
- 8:17you can trust what I'm saying because
- 8:18obviously I've helped thousands,
- 8:21millions of young guys live a good life.
- 8:23So, you can just trust that this is good
- 8:24goals for you. Number one, build the
- 8:27aesthetic body. Get into weightlifting,
- 8:29bodybuilding training. Build a body
- 8:31that's attractive to women and also
- 8:33it'll make you feel proud of yourself.
- 8:34Also, get into some looks maxing.
- 8:36Nothing crazy, but take pride in your
- 8:38appearance and become more attractive
- 8:40because it is very, very important. Goal
- 8:42number two, get way better at
- 8:44socializing and attracting girls. A lot
- 8:46of guys will cope and say, "Oh, well,
- 8:48yeah, I don't really care about girls."
- 8:49Yes, you do. Yes, you do. You're a
- 8:51young, horny guy. Yes, you do. If you
- 8:53had a day right now where you went
- 8:55outside and you happened to like cold
- 8:56approach a girl and you just like were
- 8:57extra smooth flirting with her, you got
- 8:59her number, bro, for the rest of the
- 9:01day, you'd be happy. You would. It's
- 9:03completely fine and healthy to say that.
- 9:05Don't be one of these little fakeos who
- 9:07act like they Oh yeah, I'm above being
- 9:10attracted to the opposite sex. Okay,
- 9:12homo. The [ __ ] wrong with you? Like,
- 9:14just just admit you're [ __ ] attracted
- 9:16to girls. And it's nice. It's fun to
- 9:18flirt with girls. Done. Okay, sweet. Add
- 9:20that to your goals. You want to get
- 9:21better with girls, and you also want to
- 9:22get better with general socializing,
- 9:24being able to talk to everyone, being
- 9:26able to hang out with the boys better.
- 9:27Okay, sweet. Those are the two goals of
- 9:29what I call level one self-improvement.
- 9:31Level one self-improvement is what you
- 9:32do when you're quite young. Maybe you're
- 9:34in school or university up until about
- 9:36age 21, 22 years old. You focus on
- 9:38basically looking good, feeling good,
- 9:40getting girls, socializing. These are
- 9:42the things that especially when you're
- 9:43young, they're very important. Level two
- 9:45self-improvement starts usually around
- 9:47age 21 to 22, which is where money
- 9:49becomes your bigger desire. But ideally,
- 9:52you already have a good physique and
- 9:53you're already good with girls. And
- 9:55maybe you already have like one or two
- 9:57or three girls you're consistently
- 9:58meeting. when you get on to level two
- 10:00and you want to go full extreme work
- 10:02season. Many guys really want to make
- 10:04money when they're young, but I tell
- 10:05them honestly like when you're 16, 18,
- 10:0619 years old, money is actually not that
- 10:08important just yet. How you behave
- 10:11around other people, your social skills,
- 10:13and how you look is actually more
- 10:14important. You don't want to turn out to
- 10:15be one of these guys who are like 24, 25
- 10:17years old, successful, made money, but
- 10:20they're deeply insecure for the rest of
- 10:22their lives because they're just not
- 10:24good in like social situations. I see
- 10:25guys like that like every week. I live
- 10:27in like a place where people travel to.
- 10:29And so I happen to meet quite a few guys
- 10:31who, you know, they've built up a good
- 10:33level of success in their careers and
- 10:34businesses. You don't want to end up
- 10:36like these guys who prioritize money
- 10:38over the sort of social things. I
- 10:41promise you, it's better to be a broke
- 10:43Chad than it is to be like a nerdy
- 10:46millionaire. I promise you. The broke
- 10:48Chad, let's say he gets to 25 years old,
- 10:50he's sexy, he's really good with girls,
- 10:52he looks really good. him sitting down
- 10:55and working on the laptops, not like
- 10:56crazy hard. It's completely normal. He's
- 10:58trying to make money. Fair enough. And
- 10:59he'll probably be pretty good at making
- 11:01money because of the fact he's a Chad.
- 11:02He can teach like how to become a Chad.
- 11:03Okay, sweet. But the nerdy millionaire,
- 11:05let's say he's 25, 26 years old and he's
- 11:07trying to now learn to like socialize
- 11:08and be around people, bro. It's cringe.
- 11:11It's awkward. These are the guys you see
- 11:13in social situations where they're
- 11:14looking at everyone like this like
- 11:28You don't want to become one of these
- 11:30people. Trust me. Looks, physique,
- 11:32socializing first, money second. You
- 11:35still probably have some other decisions
- 11:36in your mind. Honestly, just go make
- 11:38them fast. Your life is going to be
- 11:40better if you make decisions quickly
- 11:42rather than just being the guy who
- 11:43overthinks and just keeps thinking about
- 11:45it. And now you just feel tired every
- 11:47day because your brain is constantly
- 11:49thinking like, should I move there?
- 11:51Should I do this business model or this
- 11:52one or this thing or this one? Bro,
- 11:54there's so many decisions. You'll find
- 11:56that when you actually make these
- 11:57decisions and you start to go down a
- 11:59path, your energy level will be way
- 12:01better. Kill the level one chickens
- 12:03first. Imagine we're playing a video
- 12:05game and we're kind of a low level in
- 12:07this game. Should we go train on the
- 12:10chickens or should we go train on the
- 12:12dragons? You go up to the dragons and
- 12:14you click on it. Bro, you're going to
- 12:15get one hit, bro. You'll get one banked.
- 12:17You'll just die instantly. But so many
- 12:19young guys, they're trying to like train
- 12:20on the dragon. But in real life, you're
- 12:23trying to do things that are outside of
- 12:25your current capabilities. And then
- 12:27you're getting annoyed when you fail.
- 12:29You set goals and also intentions like,
- 12:31"Yeah, tomorrow I'm going to wake up and
- 12:33I'm going to go and do two workouts and
- 12:35then I'm going to do this. I'm going to
- 12:36meditate for 1 hour and then I'm going
- 12:37to go study for 3 hours." Bro, that's
- 12:40like a dragon. You're not good enough
- 12:42for that, right? I might be the first
- 12:44person you you've ever heard say this to
- 12:45you cuz I don't give you [ __ ]
- 12:46participation trophies or medals here,
- 12:49right? You are not that great. You're
- 12:52not. But you expect to have like the
- 12:55most perfect productive day. Think about
- 12:57it. The best version of you maybe 5 10
- 12:5915 20 years from now would be able to
- 13:02have like a pretty perfect day. Oh wow.
- 13:04You know, he was perfectly productive.
- 13:06Sure. You're trying to do that right
- 13:08now. Seriously. Oh yeah. I'm going to be
- 13:10locked in and have the most perfect day
- 13:11ever. Bro, you're not that good. You
- 13:13can't kill the dragons right now. What
- 13:15this means is you have to lower the bar
- 13:17to success. You should have very high
- 13:20expectations for your life over the next
- 13:23few years and decades, but you should
- 13:25have fairly low expectations for each
- 13:28day. For you to build an amazing life,
- 13:31you genuinely don't have to do that much
- 13:33each day to build it. I swear to God,
- 13:35you don't. You could. You just have to
- 13:37check off a few good boxes and you will
- 13:40really progress over the next few years,
- 13:43you will become unrecognizable. Like if
- 13:45you just go to the gym and try to
- 13:47progressively overload, and if you just
- 13:50try to hit the right calories, not even
- 13:52the right perfect macros, just roughly
- 13:53the right calories, and if you just do
- 13:56like 2 hours of deep focus work with no
- 13:58distractions, bro, within 2 to 3 years,
- 14:01you will be unrecognizable. You will
- 14:03look be so different from the other guys
- 14:07from your hometown. You you'll be the
- 14:08one who moved away and you you've moved
- 14:10to like [ __ ] Dubai or some [ __ ] like
- 14:12that. Seriously, couple hours of work a
- 14:14day, couple gym sessions a week, done.
- 14:16That's all it really takes to transform
- 14:17your life. So, lower the bar to success
- 14:20for what your definition of a good day
- 14:22is. Maybe it's go to the gym, meditate
- 14:25for 5 minutes, track your calories, and
- 14:28do one or two blocks of deep work on
- 14:30like studying or on business or career
- 14:32or whatever like your work is. That will
- 14:34move the needle ahead. If you did that,
- 14:37let's say 90% of the days over the next
- 14:40year, your life would be seriously so
- 14:44different. It would be insane. A lot of
- 14:47success and locking in just comes down
- 14:49to the mindsets that you're using. And
- 14:51so if you want to join a community of
- 14:52guys who have got a similar mindset to
- 14:54us, you know, guys who are making
- 14:56progress in their physiques, guys who
- 14:58actually think it's a good thing that
- 14:59you want a cold approach instead of like
- 15:00friends who say that it's kind of weird
- 15:02or whatever, then you can look to join
- 15:04my community which is called Library of
- 15:06Adonis. It'll be like the the top link
- 15:08underneath this video. The real key to
- 15:10success is removing things from your
- 15:12life. You're struggling with your goals
- 15:15right now, not because you're not doing
- 15:17enough, but because you're doing so much
- 15:20other [ __ ] that's distracting you from
- 15:23doing the core tasks and the core
- 15:25activities and habits that would make
- 15:26the progress. Basically, think about all
- 15:29of your life. What could you sacrifice
- 15:32to make extra gains? Maybe the girl
- 15:35you're texting right now that you keep
- 15:37checking if she's replied to you and
- 15:38she's clearly just not into you. Every
- 15:41time you manually choose to think to
- 15:42yourself like, "You know what? [ __ ] this
- 15:44girl. I'm going to delete her."
- 15:45Whatever. I promise, bro, you get a
- 15:46boost in productivity. Every time, you
- 15:48may as well start like routinely
- 15:50sacrificing girls just for this [ __ ]
- 15:51boost, right? Done. Other areas of life
- 15:54that you don't really care about.
- 15:56Sometimes guys will message me and
- 15:57they'll tell me like, "Oh, I've been
- 15:59doing this sport that I don't really
- 16:01enjoy anymore. You know, like, I've been
- 16:02going to football and I don't really
- 16:04enjoy it. I'd rather focus on
- 16:05bodybuilding. What do you think?" When
- 16:07you have a decision like that, bro,
- 16:08whenever you remove something from your
- 16:10life, the other things will almost
- 16:12always automatically just be so much
- 16:14easier. I really I promise this is such
- 16:17a big point. If you want to get
- 16:18successful, especially in business and
- 16:20money and stuff, but just in so many
- 16:21areas, look to see the things that you
- 16:25can remove from your life, that you can
- 16:27subtract from your life. So, for
- 16:28example, for me, I get really distracted
- 16:31with like anything health related. So
- 16:32every day I was researching like health
- 16:34stuff, health maxing, you know, you see
- 16:36all these videos online for like health
- 16:37maxing and the best diet and whatever.
- 16:40And I thought like, yeah, why? Like I've
- 16:42already got pretty good knowledge. Why
- 16:43don't I just like not research this
- 16:45stuff at all? Like what would happen if
- 16:46I just didn't give a [ __ ] about health
- 16:48or think about it at all? Not that I'm
- 16:49going to purposefully go have [ __ ]
- 16:51health, but just if I don't think about
- 16:52it. And I promise you right now, I saved
- 16:55so much mental bandwidth. My business
- 16:57has like basically almost doubled since
- 17:00this point. It was like in May this
- 17:01year. And my health feels about the
- 17:03same.
- 17:05So it was only a gain. I didn't even
- 17:07lose anything. I'm still sleeping about
- 17:08the same. I'm a little bit leaner. Like
- 17:11my body fat percentage is even a little
- 17:12bit better. Mentally I feel as good.
- 17:15Physically I feel about the same. Sweet.
- 17:17So what was I doing all that for before?
- 17:20I was genuinely distracted like a lot
- 17:23because of like health related things.
- 17:25What is it for you? What things could
- 17:27you sacrifice from your life that will
- 17:29just free up your mental bandwidth? A
- 17:31lot of it's to do with socializing for
- 17:32you young guys. There's a group of
- 17:34friends that you probably need to
- 17:36sacrifice. You probably were thinking
- 17:37about them already, right before I even
- 17:39mentioned them. You need to sacrifice
- 17:41them, bro.
- 17:44I have, bro. I don't keep around anyone
- 17:47from the old days. How could you? Like,
- 17:50you're a different version, right? Like
- 17:51the the people who knew you from years
- 17:53ago, they can't help but to keep seeing
- 17:56you in that same level. But you're not
- 17:58the same level anymore. You're going to
- 18:01do it eventually, bro. Let's think about
- 18:02it. 2, three years from now, you might
- 18:04even be a millionaire, right? You're
- 18:05going to be a [ __ ] jacked
- 18:06millionaire, but one or two years from
- 18:07now, you might even move to [ __ ] Bali
- 18:08where I live. When you move here and
- 18:11you've got a group of guys who literally
- 18:12like, let's say, they watch my videos
- 18:14similar to you. So, the values are so
- 18:16similar. They're all going to the gym.
- 18:18They all make money online. You actually
- 18:20genuinely respect them. Would you still
- 18:22be real friends with the people back
- 18:24home? [ __ ] no. When you're driving
- 18:26around here and there's [ __ ] eights,
- 18:28nines, 10 out of 10 walking around in
- 18:30bikinis, like they're 90% naked and
- 18:32they're ready to [ __ ] And let's say
- 18:34you've got one girl like that. Let's say
- 18:35you've got two girls like that. You
- 18:36smash this one, you smash this one. Are
- 18:37you still going to be talking to this
- 18:38[ __ ] midgirl from back home who like
- 18:40sometimes doesn't even text you for like
- 18:422 weeks. She just leaves you on red on
- 18:44like, "Oh, sorry. No, not even on red.
- 18:46Undelivered. Like she doesn't even open
- 18:48your message like on your Snapchat or
- 18:50whatever. Would you still be addicted to
- 18:51her when you're literally smashing new
- 18:53girls who are hotter than her?"
- 18:54Obviously not. So the people you have in
- 18:56your life right now, you're not keeping
- 18:57them because they're actually high
- 18:58quality. You're just keeping them
- 19:00because you've got like a low level.
- 19:01That's it. So if you're going to get rid
- 19:03of them 6 months or 1 year from now, but
- 19:06you've already identified they're not
- 19:08good for you right now, you may as well
- 19:10get rid of them right now. You have to
- 19:11make some sacrifices on this journey.
- 19:13This is not something I'm telling you,
- 19:15but like, oh, I don't do it myself. I
- 19:17left everyone behind, bro. All my high
- 19:18school friends I used to play video
- 19:19games with, all my university friends I
- 19:22used to go partying with. And then even
- 19:24the the friends I made at the start of
- 19:26this sort of business journey, 2020,
- 19:282021, 2022, some guys I met in the gym.
- 19:31I even I'm not friends with any any of
- 19:33those people because, bro, on this
- 19:35journey, you're going to rapidly change.
- 19:38And it doesn't make sense to keep like
- 19:40super old people behind unless you just
- 19:42happen to be kind of lucky that both of
- 19:44your trajectories kind of end up
- 19:46similar, but that's super rare. And you
- 19:48probably know that's not going to happen
- 19:49with the people you're thinking about
- 19:51right now. Otherwise, you wouldn't even
- 19:52be considering them. Try and remove like
- 19:54as much as possible from your life so
- 19:56that the only thing that's left in your
- 19:57life is just your goals. It's the
- 19:59aesthetic body, socializing, girls,
- 20:01those kinds of things, but with good
- 20:03people, of course. try and remove all
- 20:04this extra baggage and this [ __ ]
- 20:06that's just kind of like distracting you
- 20:07from your goals. Stop listening to your
- 20:10brain. Listening to your brain got you
- 20:13to watch porn thousands of times.
- 20:17Like just think about that. The voices
- 20:20in your mind and the impulses that you
- 20:23have through the day led you to a life
- 20:26that was actually kind of miserable
- 20:28where you got addicted to porn and video
- 20:29games and you became like a bit of a
- 20:31[ __ ] beta male. you didn't have a
- 20:32good life. When you actually think about
- 20:34it, listening to your own brain is not a
- 20:38productive thing to do. Let's say you're
- 20:40outside and you see a cute girl walking
- 20:42past. Your brain will say some things
- 20:45like, "Oh, well, you know, no, no, I
- 20:46can't go up to her because she's got
- 20:48earphones in. No, no, no. Can't go up to
- 20:49her because she's walking that way. Oh,
- 20:50I can't do it.
- 20:54Your brain's not on your side because
- 20:56other guys have cold approached the girl
- 20:57who had earphones in and they ended up
- 21:01face [ __ ] her. Other guys have cold
- 21:03approached the girl who was walking that
- 21:05way and they ended up clapping her
- 21:07[ __ ] cheeks. Your brain is just
- 21:11keeping you as a little beta male. It's
- 21:13like turning you into a cuck where
- 21:15you're like, "Oh, just she's going that
- 21:17way. I can't speak to her. I can't do
- 21:19this. No, I can't
- 21:21[ __ ] Your brain is keeping you as a
- 21:24[ __ ] And you know this because you
- 21:26have like two parts of your brain,
- 21:27right? You have like the Jeffree part of
- 21:29your brain and the Adonis part of your
- 21:30brain. The Jeffrey part of your brain
- 21:32really gets loud whenever you're about
- 21:34to do something that you could be scared
- 21:36of. Like for example, called approaching
- 21:38a girl. Unfortunately, the Adonis part
- 21:40of your brain is kind of silent. Like
- 21:41he's sitting back and watching to see if
- 21:43you're a [ __ ] He doesn't say much in
- 21:45this moment. Just the Jeffrey brain.
- 21:46It's like no, you can't speak to her
- 21:47because she's got earphones in. you
- 21:48know, the the social constructs of
- 21:50society indicate that like, you know,
- 21:53you're just thinking of like like some
- 21:54re weird social paradigms. It's like
- 21:56kids in school will tell me like, "Oh,
- 21:58well, how can I make friends because the
- 21:59school year has already started?" And
- 22:00like, [ __ ] just go make friends
- 22:02exactly the same way. And what they're
- 22:04trying to say is like, "No, but the the
- 22:05social circles have already been formed
- 22:09and I must wait until next September."
- 22:11No, like you're being a [ __ ] dork.
- 22:13You can go up to someone today and speak
- 22:16to them. Even if most people have
- 22:17already formed the kind of social
- 22:19circles, doesn't [ __ ] matter. Try it
- 22:20anyway. Even if she's got her earphones
- 22:23in, even if she's walking that way, even
- 22:25if she didn't even look at you, try it
- 22:27anyway. Why would you just like [ __ ]
- 22:29block yourself? What you need to do is
- 22:31stop listening to your own brain, which
- 22:33sounds crazy, right? So, what's the
- 22:35alternative? Command your body to do
- 22:38what it needs to do. When you see, let's
- 22:41say, the girl over there, you want to
- 22:42get better at cold approaching, your
- 22:43Jeffrey brain's going to get loud and
- 22:45think of so many reasons not to speak to
- 22:46her. What you need to do is like
- 22:48basically press the buttons on the
- 22:50controller to command your legs to walk
- 22:53straight up to her and just say
- 22:56anything. What you say is a hund times a
- 22:59million times less important than saying
- 23:02anything. It's better to go up to a
- 23:03girl, you didn't really plan what to
- 23:04say, and you just go go up to her. Uh,
- 23:06hi. Uh, um, I just thought you were kind
- 23:09of cute. what's your name? Like that's
- 23:10not so smooth. But that's still actually
- 23:13not bad. I'm telling you, like you you
- 23:15could literally end up [ __ ] this girl
- 23:16and maybe you you'll even get into a
- 23:18relationship, maybe a situationship,
- 23:20maybe you'll [ __ ] her for months just
- 23:21cuz you did this. Cuz other guys who
- 23:23wanted to [ __ ] her next to you, their
- 23:26brain told them not to. They're going to
- 23:28go home and masturbate. Now you get to
- 23:29to be with this girl for the next 3
- 23:31months you [ __ ] for free. Nice. Because
- 23:33you just turned your brain off. Command
- 23:36your legs to walk up to her. Command
- 23:38your body to do what it needs to do,
- 23:40even if your brain is kind of
- 23:42disagreeing. Before I came to press for
- 23:44this video, bro, I was quite tired. I
- 23:45went to sleep pretty late last night. I
- 23:47couldn't fall asleep for a little while.
- 23:48So, I've only slept for about like 5 or
- 23:496 hours. So, I woke up today. My body
- 23:52was tired. I set up the cam like I I
- 23:53came downstairs. I set up the light and
- 23:55everything. I was like, "Oh, I left my
- 23:56camera upstairs." So, I walked upstairs,
- 23:58grabbed my camera, put it down. I needed
- 23:59my little notes. I have like a few ideas
- 24:01that I'm going to talk about, you know,
- 24:02for this video. And I sat here for like
- 24:03a minute just thinking like
- 24:06I don't really want to do this right
- 24:08now. What my brain wanted me to do, I
- 24:10could feel it so clearly, bro. It wanted
- 24:12me to go on to Instagram and just scroll
- 24:13for a little bit. Seriously, or Tik Tok.
- 24:17You know, the dopamine I wanted, I
- 24:18posted a few Tik Toks yesterday. I
- 24:19really wanted to go on to Tik Tok to see
- 24:21how many views they got. And I knew that
- 24:22I would end up reading the comments and
- 24:23I'll probably go on to Instagram and
- 24:24check my DMs and then start scrolling
- 24:26and just be [ __ ] right? That's what
- 24:28my brain wanted to do. But just one step
- 24:31at a time, I just trudged along. I sat
- 24:33down here. I'm heavy. I set up this
- 24:35thing. I've set up the camera. Press
- 24:37record. Here I am. My brain was telling
- 24:38me like, "Oh, no. Don't do it. Don't do
- 24:40it." But like, I just command my body to
- 24:42show up and do what I need to do. It's
- 24:44the same thing with when you want to go
- 24:45in cold approach, when you want to do
- 24:47some kind of work, like, you know, being
- 24:48a YouTuber, whatever. It's easy for your
- 24:51brain to get loud and say like, "Oh, but
- 24:53what if people find my videos? What if I
- 24:55go up to the girl and say something
- 24:57stupid? What if she rejects me and
- 24:58everyone sees it?" It's so easy to think
- 25:01about all these little excuses, but the
- 25:03guy who's a thousand times better than
- 25:06you, he still goes through the same
- 25:08things. Bro, I record videos,
- 25:09[ __ ] hate me. I go up to a
- 25:10girl, sometimes I say something stupid
- 25:12as [ __ ] bro. Sometimes I go up to a
- 25:14girl and she doesn't even look at me.
- 25:15Like, she doesn't even see me as a
- 25:16[ __ ] human being. She just keeps on
- 25:18walking. Maybe she's got a boyfriend.
- 25:19Sometimes girls will talk to me.
- 25:20Sometimes girls are just rude. It just
- 25:22happens. But I don't get insecure about
- 25:24it because I'm good at that [ __ ] But
- 25:25the thing is, that's still the negative
- 25:26response that you're scared of, right?
- 25:28So, it's like you may as well act like
- 25:31the version of you that's already really
- 25:32good at these things. And if you end up,
- 25:34for example, getting a hate comment in
- 25:36like a YouTube video, you're not that
- 25:37sensitive about it because you act like
- 25:39a big YouTuber who's just normal with
- 25:40it. If you stumble getting a girl's bra
- 25:43off, you act like a [ __ ] boy who's taken
- 25:45bras off hundreds of times and it's not
- 25:48a big deal if you just fumbled it a
- 25:49little bit. It's like really nobody
- 25:51gives a [ __ ] Just you're still going to
- 25:52smash this girl, right? So, you need to
- 25:54get out of this insecure Jeffrey brain
- 25:56that's making you like sort of double
- 25:58think everything, right? You're trusting
- 26:00your brain too much. No one has ever
- 26:02given this advice before, but this is
- 26:04some like goatated advice. I'm telling
- 26:06you, for self-improvements, you need to
- 26:08listen to your brain less. You can
- 26:10literally just command your body to like
- 26:12walk over to the computer, open the
- 26:14little document that you need to work
- 26:15on, and start typing, and I guarantee,
- 26:17bro, the work will actually be pretty
- 26:18decent. You know, this brings us to a
- 26:20bigger point, which is you've got to
- 26:22stop overthinking. so much. One of the
- 26:24biggest problems I see for so many young
- 26:25guys, you're just overthinking to the
- 26:28point that your life's getting ruined.
- 26:29You need to get more into like [ __ ]
- 26:31mode, right? You need to just turn your
- 26:33[ __ ] brain off, act like a [ __ ]
- 26:35and stop thinking about all these extra
- 26:38things. Like, in my community, we have a
- 26:40section in there where guys can ask me
- 26:42and and everyone else questions, right?
- 26:44So, I go in there every day to reply to
- 26:45everyone. And probably about 20 to 50%
- 26:47of the the questions that people will
- 26:49ask me, I reply to them saying like,
- 26:50"You're just overthinking. you don't
- 26:52have to think about this. Just spend
- 26:53zero more seconds thinking about this.
- 26:55You know, should I, you know, they'll
- 26:57just ask some [ __ ] where I'm reading
- 26:59it as an older guy who's achieved
- 27:00everything the these guys want to
- 27:02achieve. And I'm telling them it's like
- 27:03this is a useless train of thought. Like
- 27:05there's no value in this sort of
- 27:06thinking thing that you're doing right
- 27:08now. Shut the [ __ ] up. Turn your brain
- 27:09off. Go gym. Hit some PRs. Track your
- 27:12macros. Go talk to some more girls. Shut
- 27:13the [ __ ] up. You don't need to worry
- 27:14about this small [ __ ] whatever, like
- 27:16you're currently obsessed with. You
- 27:17don't have to think about it. If you
- 27:18find yourself in a rut and need to
- 27:21restart, let's say that you follow this
- 27:23guide so far. You feel way more locked
- 27:25in than usual. You've got a bit more of
- 27:27a clear path of which goals to pursue.
- 27:28You've got way better mindsets to do
- 27:30with, okay, you know, like, [ __ ] the
- 27:32street thinking, the all or nothing
- 27:33mindset. Okay, you're feeling good about
- 27:35life. Let's say for the next few days,
- 27:36you are on like a high. This this guy
- 27:38has helped you. Sweet. Make sure you
- 27:39subscribe and like the video. Okay,
- 27:40sweet. Nice. But then, let's say maybe a
- 27:42few days from now, maybe a week or two
- 27:43from now, you find yourself in a rut.
- 27:45you missed one or two things and then
- 27:47you start going downhill and then you
- 27:49ate too much, then you missed the gym
- 27:50and then you ended up gooning twice or
- 27:52whatever. Okay, you find yourself pretty
- 27:54deep in a rut. How do you restart so
- 27:57that a rut is like half the length?
- 27:59Imagine if we could calculate every rut
- 28:00you've been in, how long you were in it
- 28:02for, and let's say the average was 2.7
- 28:04days, cuz there were some days where you
- 28:06were in a rut for multiple weeks, some
- 28:07days where you were in a rut just for a
- 28:09few hours and you ended up making
- 28:10yourself feel better. Let's say the
- 28:11average was 2.7 days. All we want to do
- 28:13is bring that average down. And the way
- 28:15that I personally do this, it's really
- 28:18weird cuz this advice is going to seem
- 28:19really vague. I burst into action.
- 28:22Imagine you have a day where you're just
- 28:24really feeling lazy. You know, you you
- 28:26scrolled a lot, whatever. It's a [ __ ]
- 28:28day. It's like 6 p.m., whatever. I find
- 28:30the way that I get out of that is like I
- 28:32aggressively like I almost like swear a
- 28:35few times in my mind like, "Fuck this.
- 28:36Go on." and I stand up and I
- 28:38aggressively grab clothes and I usually
- 28:40go and do something physical like I'll
- 28:41go for a run or I'll go to the gym which
- 28:43kind of gives me like you know some some
- 28:45energy of like going forward going to do
- 28:47something right so I quickly go do that
- 28:49put my music on and then I'll hit a
- 28:51workout and you hit a workout and bro
- 28:53like you you feel way more positive
- 28:54afterwards especially if you can make it
- 28:55a pretty decent workout you know the the
- 28:57strength is good your physique is good
- 28:59okay sweet you hit a workout and I also
- 29:01when I'm in the workout when I'm in the
- 29:03gym I write like one or two things I'm
- 29:04going to do afterwards which is like
- 29:06I'll come home and I'm going to go
- 29:07record like two Tik Toks for example. So
- 29:09then as soon as I come home, I shower
- 29:11quickly. I I see the little list. Okay,
- 29:13I record the Tik Tok. I feel pretty
- 29:14happy with it because it was a good
- 29:15performance, whatever. Okay, sweet. So
- 29:18on my worst day, I went to the gym and
- 29:19also recorded content. Like that's
- 29:21better than most people's best days. So
- 29:23that's actually pretty good, right? So
- 29:24the way that when I find myself to feel
- 29:26it like I'm in a bit of a rut and I'm
- 29:28doing some [ __ ] I shouldn't be
- 29:29[clears throat] doing, you know, like if
- 29:30I end up scrolling or some [ __ ] it's
- 29:32like it's a bit of like aggressive
- 29:34energy that I step into. That's what you
- 29:36need. Imagine you're like scrolling,
- 29:38right? You're scrolling like a little
- 29:39[ __ ] What you need to do is get into
- 29:40this like, man, [ __ ] this. You throw you
- 29:42like physically throw your phone like to
- 29:44your bed. Stand up aggressively, grab
- 29:46your clothes, throw them on fast, and
- 29:48go. That's like the energy that I found
- 29:50that stops a rut if it's a few hours in
- 29:53or a few days or whatever is like this
- 29:55[ __ ] this energy. Now, here's the thing.
- 29:57You could have this [ __ ] this energy. Go
- 29:59to the gym, have a pretty [ __ ] workout,
- 30:00come back and feel like [ __ ] and just
- 30:02keep [ __ ] scrolling. You need to
- 30:04carry this [ __ ] momentum. Have this
- 30:06energy, this aggressive, [ __ ] this
- 30:07energy. Go to the gym and purposefully
- 30:10do good things there, but purposefully
- 30:12when you're in the gym, try your best
- 30:13that you don't have a good workout. Go
- 30:14and cold approach in the gym. Go up to
- 30:17the few guys there. Give them some fist
- 30:18bumps, talk to them, be in this loud
- 30:21energy. These little social interactions
- 30:23really help with being locked in and,
- 30:25you know, feeling good about yourself.
- 30:27And then also make sure you stay in this
- 30:29positive mindset where, you know, okay,
- 30:31there's something else you can do that's
- 30:32kind of productive, but it's kind of
- 30:34easy. Notice how I told you, okay,
- 30:35whenever I feel like I'm in a rut, I go
- 30:37to the gym and I do something pretty
- 30:38easy when I come back, which feels
- 30:39productive, like recording a short,
- 30:41recording a Tik Tok, cuz that's super
- 30:43easy. It's like 10 times easier than
- 30:44recording a YouTube video where I have
- 30:45to set my proper camera, my light, and
- 30:48sit here. At Tik Tok, I just record on
- 30:49my phone. Easy. That's it. There's no
- 30:51editing. I just record, I upload it,
- 30:53done. It's pretty fast as well in the
- 30:54sense that like I post it, it starts
- 30:56getting views right away. So, it feels
- 30:57like pretty positive and quick. You know
- 30:59what I mean? That's what you need. If
- 31:01you ever find yourself in a rut, have
- 31:03this [ __ ] this energy. That's like step
- 31:05number one. Aggressively grab your stuff
- 31:07and go somewhere. Like, for example, go
- 31:09to the gym or go for a run. Even if it's
- 31:10like dark, bro, cuz you're probably not
- 31:12going to sleep by this time anyway. [ __ ]
- 31:13it, bro. Go for a run. It's like 10:00
- 31:15p.m. You'll feel [ __ ] good. I promise
- 31:17you'll feel so much better. You'll get
- 31:19out of a rut faster if it's like 10 p.m.
- 31:21Or it might even be like 2:00 a.m. You
- 31:22stayed up late and you can't sleep or
- 31:24whatever. Go for a [ __ ] run at this
- 31:26time. And I bet you're going to feel
- 31:27like like David Gogggins or some [ __ ]
- 31:29bro. I promise that's better than just
- 31:30like thinking, "Oh, well, I'll just
- 31:32start it tomorrow. [ __ ] this starting it
- 31:34tomorrow. [ __ ] this." Like, "Okay, well,
- 31:35you know, it's already late, so tomorrow
- 31:37I'll wake up late and then I'll do No,
- 31:39no, no, no, no. Whenever you feel like
- 31:40you're in a rut, wake up early the next
- 31:42day. Even if you're going to be sleepd
- 31:43deprived, it's better to wake up sleepd
- 31:44deprived but with good energy than it is
- 31:46to wake up later but with [ __ ] energy. I
- 31:48promise you anyone who's good on
- 31:50self-improvement will agree with me
- 31:51there. How to be consistent? One of the
- 31:54questions I get all the time is, "Ham, I
- 31:56used to be more consistent, but I fell
- 31:58off my consistency. How can I become
- 32:00consistent again?" And again, this is
- 32:02something I said at the start of this
- 32:03video. You have like this all or nothing
- 32:04mindset. You know, most people don't
- 32:06even know what consistency is.
- 32:07Consistency is not that you've been
- 32:09doing things like Monday, Wednesday,
- 32:10Friday, or daily. That's not
- 32:12consistency. Consistency, I'm going to
- 32:14give you a new definition of consistency
- 32:15that's better than what anyone else has
- 32:17said on the internet so far. Consistency
- 32:20is volume over time. Consistency is not
- 32:24that you go every day and you're on a
- 32:257-day streak, 15 day streak. No,
- 32:27consistency is volume over time. It's
- 32:29that, okay, you started lifting three
- 32:32years ago and you've done like 600
- 32:34workouts in that time and you're still
- 32:36going now. Consistency is not just like
- 32:38getting to day [ __ ] 90 of nofap.
- 32:40Consistency is that you've been reducing
- 32:43how much you fap and watch porns for
- 32:45like the last 5 years. That's
- 32:47consistency. You need to have this this
- 32:49this mindset that I had about the gym. I
- 32:52always call it grandpa gains. It was my
- 32:54first few workouts in the gym. like in
- 32:56in my home gym, you know, in my garage,
- 32:57we have like this little rusty little
- 32:59barbell and bench press and whatever.
- 33:01So, I would go in there, put the little
- 33:03speaker on, listen to some music,
- 33:04whatever. And one day, I just got this
- 33:06random visualization of seeing me as
- 33:08like a 60, 70-year-old old man walking
- 33:11into a gym. Everyone knows me and I'm
- 33:13still pretty jacked.
- 33:15That's consistency. Consistency is that
- 33:17you're starting something now and you
- 33:19just don't quit and you're still doing
- 33:21it 5 years from now, 10 years from now.
- 33:24So take the pressure off and understand
- 33:26that as long as you don't quit, you will
- 33:29be at the 10 out of 10 point. If you
- 33:30never quit bodybuilding, going to the
- 33:32gym, lifting weights, you'll have your
- 33:3410 out of 10 physique 10 years from now.
- 33:36Some people say that they got it in 3
- 33:39years. Good for them. Maybe they're
- 33:40lying. But you will guarantee your 10
- 33:43out of 10 physique 10 years from now, as
- 33:45long as you don't quit. Even if you have
- 33:47periods where you get injured and you
- 33:48feel sick and you don't really want to
- 33:50train and you're traveling so you don't
- 33:51go so much and you're focusing on other
- 33:53things. Even when you have periods where
- 33:54you know your result is so slow and
- 33:56you're not making much progress, as long
- 33:58as you don't quit the gym, you'll build
- 34:00a 10 out of 10 aesthetic body within 10
- 34:02years from now. You will. You are a man
- 34:05on your purpose. The ultimate goal of
- 34:07all of this advice and the intention
- 34:09behind locking in is to be a man on your
- 34:12purpose. Your purpose is basically your
- 34:14reason for being on this planet. What is
- 34:17your reason for existing? What is your
- 34:18mission? Your big goals. My big goal
- 34:21first of all was my own
- 34:22self-improvement. And then it's teaching
- 34:23what I've learned to other guys. It's
- 34:26become my business. It's the way that I
- 34:28provide for my family. It's the way that
- 34:29I contribute to the world. And I've
- 34:31helped millions of guys live a happier,
- 34:33healthier, more confident life. That's
- 34:35my purpose. That's my mission. what
- 34:37you've done today by watching this
- 34:38video, you've become more of a
- 34:40purposeful man and more of a goal
- 34:42seeking, ambitious, hardworking
- 34:44masculine man. And you should be proud
- 34:46of that. You know, I'm going to tell my
- 34:47editor for the intro of this video, put
- 34:50some edits, put some funny pictures,
- 34:51maybe some music, whatever. But for the
- 34:52rest of it, leave it plain. If you've
- 34:54genuinely watch this video and most of
- 34:57it's just been me talking no extra
- 34:59dopamine, bro, good on you. You probably
- 35:01have like a top 0.1% attention span of
- 35:04these days. and you're genuinely you're
- 35:06interested in this topic, which is very
- 35:08good to see. It's good to see like other
- 35:10purposeful guys like this. This is why
- 35:13I've built up this channel. This is why
- 35:14I built up my my community cuz I like to
- 35:17see other guys who are like masculine
- 35:19and purposeful just like me because you
- 35:21can go through this path alone. That's
- 35:22why it's called self-improvement. But
- 35:24it's honestly way more fun when you have
- 35:27a community of guys who are actually
- 35:29like you with similar values to you and
- 35:32you know beliefs and jokes and whatever.
- 35:34Then this journey becomes genuinely so
- 35:37much more fun as you go through it. You
- 35:39don't even feel like you're sacrificing
- 35:40anymore. That's why I made Library of
- 35:42Adonis. It's my paid private community.
- 35:44If you really want to go serious on
- 35:45this, the link is in the description. Do
- 35:48the hard work, especially when you don't
- 35:49feel like it. Mwah.
