How THIS Skool Community Strategy Makes $25K/Month (Do This Now) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00All right, so how do I make $25,000 per
- 0:02month with school? As most of you may
- 0:04know who are watching this video, I run
- 0:06a school agency called School Scale with
- 0:08my partner Ramsha. We currently are
- 0:10doing $25,000 a month right now in
- 0:12revenue. We have a couple outstanding
- 0:14invoices. At the time of recording this,
- 0:16it's March 19th, so we have a lot more
- 0:18revenue coming in. So, by the end of
- 0:19this month, we'll probably be pushing 35
- 0:21to 40k. But, for pure transparency, this
- 0:25is what we have built so far. This is a
- 0:26GoHighLevel screenshot. And basically,
- 0:29we've won School Games twice now. We
- 0:33were there last quarter for Q4 of School
- 0:36Games in 2025. I'll throw up an image of
- 0:39me with Hormozi and Sam Ovens as well,
- 0:40too, as proof. I have my trusty School
- 0:44trophy back there as well, too. You
- 0:45probably can't see it behind this
- 0:46massive chair. But anyways, let's dive
- 0:48into it. That's just for, you know,
- 0:49obviously transparency and social proof
- 0:51why you should be listening to me. So,
- 0:53this is what most people do who are
- 0:55looking to start a school community or
- 0:56who are running a school community
- 0:57currently, okay? Basically, the first
- 0:59thing they do is they obviously start a
- 1:00school community. They begin adding
- 1:01courses and content with no
- 1:03transformation in mind for what their
- 1:05audience is going to experience. That
- 1:07audience starts consuming content, but
- 1:09there is no ongoing consumable content
- 1:11within that school community. Within
- 1:13most school communities and, you know,
- 1:16from what I see with my partner as we
- 1:17audit these school communities and join
- 1:19them just to take a look at what other
- 1:20people are doing is there is way too
- 1:21many live calls. Like, you as a creator
- 1:23are way too accessible to your audience.
- 1:26And then, inevitably, because you have
- 1:27course content that doesn't bring people
- 1:29through a transformation, you have no
- 1:31consumable content on a weekly,
- 1:33biweekly, or monthly basis, and you are
- 1:35way too accessible as a creator by
- 1:37hosting way too many live calls. And as
- 1:39soon as somebody joins those live calls,
- 1:40you end up with a high churn rate above
- 1:4215%, okay? Now, churn is what kills
- 1:45communities. It is the reason why most
- 1:47people avoid communities, and it's why
- 1:49most of the gurus that you probably
- 1:51follow say like, "Don't start low
- 1:52ticket. Just go straight to high
- 1:53ticket." Which I totally understand why
- 1:55they say that, because if you're someone
- 1:56that follows this method, you're going
- 1:58to fail, right? You're not going to make
- 1:59as much money as you should. So, here's
- 2:01what I do and here's what we have all of
- 2:03our creators do as well, too, so that
- 2:05they can have less than a 10% churn rate
- 2:07and they can make a ton of money. Now,
- 2:09by the way, full disclosure, if me and
- 2:11my partner are making around $25,000 a
- 2:14month, you know, at the time that I'm
- 2:15recording this, imagine what our
- 2:17creators are making because we work off
- 2:18of equity percentage. So, just keep that
- 2:21in mind, okay? So, what we have our
- 2:23creators do is at that first stage where
- 2:25you're starting a community,
- 2:26you're going to want to take 1 week to
- 2:28create your community, use Canva for
- 2:29your branding, use Word Docs to plan
- 2:31your courses, complete the about us
- 2:32page, complete back-end settings, set up
- 2:34welcome messages, set up pin posts.
- 2:35Basically, basically go through the
- 2:36entire back-end of School and just make
- 2:38sure everything is set up. Setting up
- 2:40your school community should take no
- 2:42more than like 1 to 2 weeks. Putting
- 2:44together your course content might take
- 2:46another 2 to 3 weeks. That is it. Now,
- 2:48in my other videos, I also talk about
- 2:50how you should launch your school
- 2:51community. Pre-marketing for that should
- 2:53take three to, you know, I don't know,
- 2:55two to three weeks I would say, max. So,
- 2:57all in, it may take you six to eight
- 2:59weeks to actually launch your community
- 3:01properly. Anyone telling you just to
- 3:03like launch your your community in 1 to
- 3:052 weeks and get it going, like, they're
- 3:07lying to you. You should not do that.
- 3:09Make sure you do it properly. Make sure
- 3:10you take the time to actually get your
- 3:12school community built out and then do
- 3:14some pre-marketing as well, too, okay?
- 3:16So, that is the first stage, which is
- 3:18start your school community. The second
- 3:20stage is your courses need to be set up
- 3:22to create a specific transformation. So,
- 3:24before you start filming, you need to
- 3:26ask yourself, what problem are you
- 3:27solving and how are you going to get
- 3:30your audience results, okay? Your
- 3:32courses should take your audience from
- 3:35zero to hero, all right? It needs to be
- 3:37content that literally identifies their
- 3:40problem clearly and walks them through a
- 3:42transformation to solve that problem,
- 3:43okay? Now, as a beginner, you can use
- 3:46something like Loom to film your videos.
- 3:48write out your courses on Google Docs or
- 3:50within slides and just keep the creation
- 3:52process easy, okay? What What matters
- 3:54right now in 2026 is value. It's not
- 3:57high production value. It's not buying a
- 3:59$3,000 camera with a $2,000 lens, and
- 4:02then having an editor film a video for
- 4:05you every single time, and then before
- 4:06you know it, you're like all into
- 4:07building a course that people haven't
- 4:09even consumed yet, and you've spent over
- 4:1115 grand. It doesn't It just doesn't
- 4:12make sense, okay? Go get Loom. It costs
- 4:14you, I think, $10 a month. Go get your
- 4:17Google Docs. It's literally free. Go
- 4:19build out your courses, okay? That is
- 4:21it. That's all you need. Just make sure
- 4:23that the content inside your courses is
- 4:25highly valuable, and it takes people
- 4:26through a transformation. Now, the next
- 4:28component of this is monthly consumable
- 4:30content. So, to retain members, you need
- 4:32consumable content, monthly reels,
- 4:35right? Whether it's monthly reels,
- 4:36trends, daily viral TikToks, weekly
- 4:37stock picks, monthly new winning ad
- 4:39creatives, like whatever it may be. It
- 4:40doesn't matter whatever niche or
- 4:42category you are in, there's a good
- 4:44chance that you can create consumable
- 4:45content. You just need to be creative,
- 4:46okay? That is the literal definition of
- 4:49being a creative is you just need to be
- 4:50creative. Okay? You're creating things.
- 4:53Your content needs to be something
- 4:54people look forward to, and also get
- 4:56value from
- 4:58above what they are paying for for your
- 4:59community, okay? So, if you are charging
- 5:02$100 a month, or $50 a month for your
- 5:04community, the value that you are
- 5:06sharing with your community in a
- 5:08consumable format
- 5:10needs to be more valuable than what you
- 5:14are actually sharing, right? So, if
- 5:16you're helping them trade stocks, if you
- 5:17charge $100 a month, if you are giving
- 5:20them picks that's helping them make $200
- 5:22a month, that is profitable to them,
- 5:23right? Maybe it's helping them make $500
- 5:25a month, whatever it may be. Maybe
- 5:26you're doing something that isn't in
- 5:28exchange for tangible value, like maybe
- 5:30you're teaching people, um
- 5:32for instance, like how do you become a
- 5:33better soccer player, right? How to
- 5:35become a better midfielder or striker,
- 5:36right?
- 5:38Then you need to plant the idea in their
- 5:40head that they are going to get more
- 5:42opportunities to, you know, maybe you're
- 5:44trying to help that person get off, you
- 5:46know, riding the bench, and get them on
- 5:48the first string so that they're
- 5:49starting on the field, right? Maybe
- 5:51you're trying to help that person who's
- 5:52like the best player on the team who's
- 5:53trying to go pro, you know, go pro.
- 5:56Whatever it may be, like you just need
- 5:57to help your audience get to the next
- 6:00level of where they're currently at, all
- 6:02right?
- 6:03And you're going to do that through
- 6:04consumable content.
- 6:05Now, in terms of going live, okay?
- 6:08Because running a community is literally
- 6:11all about building a culture and
- 6:12environment where people can be able to
- 6:13connect, right? This is why I'm so
- 6:15bullish on communities now because
- 6:16everyone and their dog has purchased a
- 6:17course.
- 6:19Courses are great, but people are going
- 6:20to be craving community more than ever
- 6:22as years go by because AI is going to be
- 6:23replacing so much stuff and people are
- 6:25going to crave human interaction. So,
- 6:28these live calls are going to be super
- 6:29important, but the problem is is again,
- 6:31as I pointed out, way too many of you
- 6:32are going live like every second day.
- 6:35You're having like three live calls a
- 6:36week, which is just overkill, right? Go
- 6:38live once per week max, right?
- 6:42And if you need to drop this down to
- 6:45once every two weeks or once a month, go
- 6:46go ahead, right? But you need to start
- 6:48off by just being consistent. So, your
- 6:50members want to hear from you directly,
- 6:52start with maybe one call bi-weekly and
- 6:54increase as your volume um of calls, you
- 6:56know, are needed as your community
- 6:58grows, okay? That is that is basically
- 6:59the biggest thing. So, I would probably
- 7:01start on the lower end of calls per
- 7:03month and then increase the volume of
- 7:05calls as your community gets bigger. And
- 7:07then as your community gets so big,
- 7:08instead of you having to jump on calls
- 7:10every single day or once every week, you
- 7:12can bring on special guests and you can
- 7:13bring on coaches to do all these live
- 7:15calls for you, okay?
- 7:17Now, if you do all of this properly, you
- 7:19start your school community with these,
- 7:21you brand it nicely, you create your
- 7:24courses with a transformation in mind,
- 7:27you have monthly consumable content, and
- 7:28you're going live in the correct amount
- 7:31of volume, you will experience less than
- 7:3310% churn, okay? Aim for 10% churn.
- 7:37Anything below 7% is extremely good.
- 7:40Um this was something that was shared at
- 7:41School Games, you know, if you are below
- 7:4310% that is a really good place to be.
- 7:45If you're below 7% this is like the
- 7:48epitome of success, okay? You should be
- 7:50able to manage churn very, very simply
- 7:52at below 7%, right? Even just with some
- 7:55low-budget retargeting ads you can be
- 7:57able to replace the people who are
- 7:58churning, okay? So,
- 8:00ladies and gentlemen, that's basically
- 8:01it for how you can be able to make, you
- 8:04know, $25,000 per month with your school
- 8:06community. Obviously, like I said, like
- 8:08this is what our agency is billing out,
- 8:10but just imagine with what our
- 8:11communities are doing.
- 8:13Um, they are doing, you know, way bigger
- 8:14numbers than this. So, just make sure
- 8:16you are following exactly step-by-step
- 8:19what I laid out here and you're doing
- 8:20the complete opposite of what is up
- 8:22here. As always, if you have any
- 8:23questions, drop them in the comments
- 8:25below. Happy to answer any questions. If
- 8:26you're getting value from these videos,
- 8:27make sure you subscribe. I drop videos
- 8:29every week, sometimes a couple videos a
- 8:31week to be able to add value to you
- 8:32guys. And make sure you drop a like on
- 8:34the video. I know it probably helps with
- 8:36the uh YouTube algorithm. And um, yeah,
- 8:39that's basically it for me, all right?
- 8:40Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll see
- 8:41you guys in the next video.
