- 0:03hello guys steven dux here welcome to
- 0:05this video so today i want to talk about
- 0:07the plans i'm going to trade uh in the
- 0:09rest of the year as i talked about in
- 0:11the last video this market has
- 0:13significantly
- 0:14lost its you know volume compared to
- 0:172021 2020
- 0:20since 2020 we had this massive stimulus
- 0:22check that's pouring into the market
- 0:24pumped up the equity markets and there's
- 0:27tons of
- 0:28companies that's going up thousands and
- 0:31thousands of percent
- 0:32without any fundamentals so those became
- 0:35a really good shooting opportunities but
- 0:37for now uh the stimulus has been taken
- 0:40out of the market the federal reserve is
- 0:43pulling out one of the most hawkish
- 0:46plans that they're going to taking out
- 0:48the liquidity of the markets definitely
- 0:50the play has
- 0:52especially in the printing stock or
- 0:53small cap area
- 0:55the play has been significantly reduced
- 0:58when you haven't seen bounce shore gap
- 1:00up shore
- 1:01dollar block those statistics will
- 1:04completely get changed once people start
- 1:06to adapt into this market
- 1:09and right now we still have place here
- 1:11and there
- 1:12it's not like we don't have place at all
- 1:14so in the rest of the year we need to
- 1:17work on
- 1:18very specific risk management and also
- 1:21be able to i would say come up a
- 1:23strategy to trade a market
- 1:26and i understand there's tons of factors
- 1:28that's affecting the global economy and
- 1:31also affecting you know how
- 1:34the spi and the queues
- 1:37perform but overall you know downtrend
- 1:39of the rest of the year um during qt the
- 1:42market tends to
- 1:44go down
- 1:46in a general trend
- 1:47so
- 1:49trading the overall market is completely
- 1:51different compared to the small cap i
- 1:53normally make your decisions in one go
- 1:55so you take your injury and you
- 1:57exit
- 1:58by the end of the day or by the
- 2:02end of the next day but for the overall
- 2:04markets you kind of have to hold
- 2:05overnight and make sure that you
- 2:08give the stock specific range to
- 2:13give yourself multiple entries
- 2:15during different days that's how you can
- 2:18average
- 2:20that's how you can manage your entry get
- 2:22a good average and also be able to get a
- 2:24good risk management so in terms of
- 2:26return treating the overall market the
- 2:27return definitely will not be as good as
- 2:30trading penny stocks because
- 2:32small caps normally generate 50 or even
- 2:3470 return in one day uh for the over
- 2:38markets you are probably looking at
- 2:41two percent five percent if you're
- 2:42trading the uh t triple q's that's three
- 2:45times leverage you can gain probably
- 2:48um just three times more and will be no
- 2:51more than 15 in one day so for those um
- 2:56two different markets they are
- 2:58completely different but in the future
- 3:00videos i will be able to dive in in
- 3:02those etfs and
- 3:04bigger caps so my general thoughts is
- 3:07right now as a small cap traders there's
- 3:10still tons of plays out there
- 3:12just probably
- 3:14gets cut two-thirds of the place so if
- 3:17there is a hundred play in 2021 we
- 3:19probably have around maybe 20 to 30
- 3:21plays in a year but still you can still
- 3:25be able to make tons of money by trading
- 3:27in the small caps
- 3:29so there's here comes another strategy
- 3:31for the bigger caps uh as you know that
- 3:33we had tons of
- 3:36uh speculations uh for bitcoin
- 3:40uh then we had tons of meme stocks like
- 3:42dogecoin
- 3:44gme amc and one of the bigger beam
- 3:47stocks but actually had fundamental is
- 3:49tesla pretty much all of those overhyped
- 3:51tickers will get a significant drawdown
- 3:54uh and probably crash into zero if they
- 3:56have no fundamentals other than
- 3:58potentially tesla normally in a bear
- 4:00market
- 4:01resistance matters more than the support
- 4:04so you can build your portfolio i would
- 4:06say 50 into shorting those meme stocks
- 4:09and that still has tons of
- 4:11room to drop like and me and say those
- 4:14will drop to zero
- 4:16probably closer to zero uh tesla will
- 4:19have a significant drawdown probably
- 4:21more than fifty percent
- 4:22um
- 4:24until the fed says something else we're
- 4:26going back into printing mounting again
- 4:28which i don't think they will do
- 4:31and for all those meme stocks be very
- 4:33careful especially
- 4:34for the millennials tends to go
- 4:37you know by the dip
- 4:38that's one of the main thing for them in
- 4:412020 but right now the liquidity has
- 4:44been
- 4:45pulling out of the markets so be very
- 4:47careful buying the dip
- 4:49and in
- 4:51short term technical analysis you can
- 4:53buy the dip because shorts tends to
- 4:55cover and ride the market for a few
- 4:58weeks but that's not going to work in a
- 5:00long run so be careful with
- 5:02uh buying the dip and a lot of people
- 5:05tends to promote that on youtube so one
- 5:08of the main thing i want to focus or you
- 5:10should focus as a beginner where you're
- 5:11trading this market environment is be
- 5:14very focused on your risk management do
- 5:16not risk the money that you can lose
- 5:18because in this market it's very brutal
- 5:21you can notice that this market is
- 5:23coming after the millennials and coming
- 5:25after all those investors that don't
- 5:27have
- 5:28discipline they don't have risk
- 5:29management and all those people will get
- 5:31wrapped up before um you know the market
- 5:34comes back so that's my overall thoughts
- 5:37for this video
- 5:38and
- 5:39let's dive in some few charts
- 5:42of what happened this week and while we
- 5:43can potentially trade
- 5:45into the next week
- 5:46all right so let's take a look at vru
- 5:50this sticker has been spiking for two
- 5:52days and gained about 100 percent now i
- 5:54haven't seen a ticker that's
- 5:56going up 100
- 5:58in one day for quite a while
- 6:00so this is the one that went up hundred
- 6:02percent in two days uh this
- 6:05it had resistance up in in the april
- 6:0818 and
- 6:10april 8 which this resistance gets
- 6:12cancelled by the volume that's trading
- 6:14above it the price is trading above it
- 6:17so the main resistance is around 15 and
- 6:20between 15 and 16 years trading about
- 6:22100 million volume
- 6:24quite aware
- 6:25in
- 6:27the 2021 markets going into the second
- 6:30green day on the stock consolidated
- 6:32throughout the entire day so what you
- 6:34are looking for is
- 6:36going into monday probably respect the
- 6:3815 test at 15 resistance again
- 6:41uh then consolidate around 12 and before
- 6:43the final breakdown so
- 6:45as long as the ticker doesn't break
- 6:48through 15 i think this will be a decent
- 6:50shorting opportunity
- 6:52in upcoming days but just be careful
- 6:55because this one doesn't produce enough
- 6:57range for you to shorten to 100 maybe
- 7:00drop to 10 max
- 7:03try and drop to 9 it's quite a stretch
- 7:07so
- 7:08uh that's my thought on vru now let's
- 7:10take a look at
- 7:13one of the other
- 7:15would say
- 7:17medium stocks
- 7:18gme amc this is getting completely
- 7:20destroyed from
- 7:23last year
- 7:24starting in may
- 7:27dropped quite a bit since last push i
- 7:30think i alerted i shorted the amc in
- 7:32around 31 and covered it into the 20s um
- 7:36didn't thought i can fade that far
- 7:39but you can clearly see
- 7:41that pretty much all the meme stocks
- 7:43that got hyped in 2021 is getting
- 7:45completely destroyed
- 7:47same thing goes on to gme so gme is
- 7:49holding better than amc but uh when
- 7:52either bitcoin goes to
- 7:55ten thousand seven thousand on all those
- 7:58tickers will probably get killed um
- 8:01going back to the single digits and for
- 8:03future plan i will say
- 8:05this market is definitely favor the
- 8:08short sellers into any pop you can short
- 8:11into any pops as long you can have have
- 8:13a solid risk shooting into any pops into
- 8:18parabolic spikes on those meme stocks
- 8:20that has no fundamentals those will be a
- 8:23great opportunities for you to make
- 8:24money in this market
- 8:27in terms of buying i would
- 8:29try to avoid that because
- 8:32timing the dip in the overall market is
- 8:34extremely difficult try a small dip buy
- 8:37here and there and you know track some
- 8:38data but
- 8:41i wouldn't recommend not buying this
- 8:44market so
- 8:46uh that would be my plan for the rest of
- 8:47the year let me know your thoughts also
- 8:49we have a conference upcoming in july
- 8:52and we will put a link below for you to
- 8:53register uh if you want to come in and
- 8:56listen uh other traders to talk and how
- 8:59traded in 2021 and what's
- 9:02my i was a more detailed plan in the
- 9:04upcoming future i think it will be a
- 9:06really good opportunities for you guys
- 9:08to really learn from each other and also
- 9:11be able to have a solid plan going to
- 9:14the
- 9:14future markets because we're shifting
- 9:16into a different age for this market so
- 9:19that'll be uh end of this video thank
- 9:21you very much for watching i will see
- 9:22you guys
