  4. 0:06if you enroll in remote fulfillment with
  5. 0:08fba you can sell to customers in canada
  6. 0:11and mexico using your us fba inventory
  7. 0:15and without having to store your
  8. 0:17products locally in these countries
  9. 0:19it also means you can create and manage
  10. 0:22product offers in the us canada and
  11. 0:25mexico through a single interface
  12. 0:28like with your us fba orders we'll take
  13. 0:30care of picking packaging shipping and
  14. 0:33providing customer service for your
  15. 0:35remote fulfillment with fba orders
  16. 0:38to participate you'll need to already
  17. 0:41have a professional selling plan and a
  18. 0:43north america unified account be
  19. 0:46registered for fba in the u.s and the
  20. 0:48destinations you'd like to sell to
  21. 0:51and have fba export enabled for your
  22. 0:53account
  23. 0:55note that many but not all fba items are
  24. 0:58eligible to be sold with remote
  25. 0:59fulfillment with fba
  26. 1:02a product must meet the eligibility
  27. 1:04rules for each store you sell in
  28. 1:06regardless of the country
  29. 1:08these rules differ based on local
  30. 1:10regulations and import requirements
  31. 1:13if your product isn't eligible for the
  32. 1:15program but you still want to sell it in
  33. 1:17canada or mexico you can send it
  34. 1:20directly to the country for sale through
  35. 1:22fba or listed as a seller fulfilled
  36. 1:24order to learn more about remote

  58. 2:16remember to adjust your prices to the
  59. 2:18local currency
  60. 2:20we recommend using the automate listing
  61. 2:22creation tool to avoid manually creating
  62. 2:25offers and evaluating pricing before
  63. 2:27your items can be available for sale
  64. 2:31this tool also adjusts for differences
  65. 2:33in fulfillment fees and foreign exchange
  66. 2:35rates
  67. 2:36if you're eligible any new offers that
  68. 2:39you create in the us after you enroll in
  69. 2:41remote fulfillment with fba will
  70. 2:44automatically be available in canada and
  71. 2:46mexico
  72. 2:48note that the tool doesn't adjust for
  73. 2:50any differences in referral fees between
  74. 2:52marketplaces or any fees you may incur
  75. 2:55when converting your currency back to
  76. 2:56u.s dollars
  77. 2:58the customer experience for imported
  78. 3:00orders is similar to that of
  79. 3:02non-imported orders
  80. 3:04for example prime members will see the
  81. 3:06prime badge and receive free shipping on
  82. 3:08their orders but delivery will range
  83. 3:10from five to nine days for customers in
  84. 3:13mexico and seven to twelve days for
  85. 3:15customers in
  86. 3:16canada a key difference is that
  87. 3:19customers and not sellers pay import
  88. 3:21duties on items purchased through remote
  89. 3:23fulfillment with fba
  90. 3:25the customer is responsible for the
  91. 3:27payment since ownership of the items
  92. 3:29transfers to the customer when a carrier
  93. 3:32picks up their order from a us
  94. 3:34fulfillment center
  95. 3:36customers will see the import duties and
  96. 3:38fees associated with each offer on the
  97. 3:41product's search and detail pages
  98. 3:43we'll simplify customers import duties
  99. 3:45and taxes by estimating the import duty
  100. 3:48and value-added tax or vat amounts and
  101. 3:51adding them to their total at checkout
  102. 3:54customers will authorize international
  103. 3:57carriers that partner with amazon to pay
  104. 3:59this amount on their behalf
  105. 4:02as a professional seller you'll only pay
  106. 4:04subscription fees for the country where
  107. 4:06you first registered
  108. 4:08your per item sales fees are tied to the
  109. 4:10country in which the item was sold and
  110. 4:13your remote fulfillment with fba fees
  111. 4:15are determined by your product sizes and
  112. 4:17shipping weights
  113. 4:19we'll deduct these fees directly from
  114. 4:21your product's price
  115. 4:23to get paid for your remote fulfillment
  116. 4:25with fba orders you can assign your
  117. 4:27existing amazon.com charge and deposit
  118. 4:30methods to canada and mexico
  119. 4:32marketplaces
  120. 4:34if you'd like to use a different method
  121. 4:36for either marketplace contact seller
  122. 4:38support to alert them that you're making
  123. 4:40this change this step will help you
  124. 4:43avoid any disruption to your account
  125. 4:45that could be caused by our fraud
  126. 4:47protection safeguards
  127. 4:49you can also use the amazon currency
  128. 4:51converter for sellers or accs to deposit

  146. 5:35to categories for which amazon offers
  147. 5:37free return shipping which include
  148. 5:40apparel watches jewelry shoes handbags
  149. 5:44and sunglasses and luggage
