- 2:00Hello friends, I am Vijay Thakkar and I
- 2:03welcome you all to our new episode of "Market aur Mai" and
- 2:08Today our guest is Nitin Hulaji ji. So welcome Nitin ji.
- 2:12Hello Vijay ji namaste.
- 2:14Welcome sir .
- 2:16Yes sir thank you for inviting me to come on your show.
- 2:22No sir thank you to you sir that you took out time to come with us in this video and
- 2:29it was very nice I know our follow up was going on, you do some work and you
- 2:34remain busy in it, so we had planned for today, so it felt very good sir.
- 2:38If more people like you are created in the market, it will be very good for the people in the market.
- 2:43So Nitin ji, where are you from?
- 2:45Sir, I’m from Karnataka, from a small village called Belgaum,
- 2:51which is at the border of Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
- 2:56It is a small city like 5 lakh population city. It has decent crowd, after Bangalore it
- 3:02is a third or fourth largest city.
- 3:06Nice Sir, so Goa must be closer to you.
- 3:08Yes, it is 100 kilometers, Goa is very near.
- 3:12Right. So sir, how did your journey start in the stock market,
- 3:17if you want to tell something about it and what do you do?
- 3:21Yes, Vijay ji, basically my introduction is that I
- 3:26belong to a middle class family and
- 3:30my education is that I am a commerce graduate and
- 3:35the reason why I actually came into the market is that a friend introduced me in 2007-2008
- 3:41that you open Demat account, although I had knowledge about the companies or
- 3:49about accounting and as I belong to sales, I work in a public limited company
- 3:55and look after the sales operations, so
- 3:59I know a little about the companies sales. And as a background, I am a commerce
- 4:06graduate, so I also have a little knowledge of financials and I
- 4:11had done a little computer work during my college period, so I have some computer knowledge skills
- 4:17of programming and coding not advanced level but basics is known,
- 4:23it so happened that in 2008, one of my friends introduced me that you
- 4:27should open a demat account and we will give you tips, that is, you have to buy and
- 4:33take, you do not have to do anything, you have to put money. We started it sir, initially
- 4:39as you say that beginner's luck, Back then, everyone was investing in IPOs,
- 4:45that whichever one you put money into would succeed.
- 4:47So then what happened, I had started with Rs 35000 capital in the beginning,
- 4:53I had used the capital in it. It increased a lot in just a few days,
- 4:58meaning it became something like 60-70 thousand within six months,
- 5:03so I thought it was going very well,
- 5:05but what happened suddenly, I had no knowledge, I watched TV, watched the screen,
- 5:11whatever anyone told I used to take the same, suddenly, the Lehman Brothers crisis happened,
- 5:16and in one blow, the leverage they were providing wiped out all the capital.
- 5:23Oh.
- 5:25I had to stop trading for a few days.
- 5:28Because we didn’t know about the leverage we were taking, and all of a sudden,
- 5:34with the market hitting a lower circuit in one day, we couldn’t understand what to do.
- 5:41So that time we lost all the capital. So, almost from there I left the trading.
- 5:47Then started my work and did nothing for two-three years, till 2012, when I came back, I
- 5:54thought that let's see the old stocks in my portfolio left.
- 6:02I saw that after 3-4 years the remaining stock had increased, although
- 6:08the account was dormant, so I thought there was something in it, it is not
- 6:14that someone or the other will keep making money in the market and this is that if we learn it and
- 6:21do it properly then we can become good at it and move ahead. So I studied then we
- 6:30later on, I learned from good YouTube channels like yours.
- 6:36I never bought anyone’s personal course, but I wanted to learn from quality YouTubers.
- 6:44And whatever good things are shared by quality YouTubers,
- 6:48I want to take those and implement them in my trading style.
- 6:51There are many such good people and also
- 6:55those who only show profits or show such things like car, bungalow and all.
- 7:00But that is just their job to attract and that is to sell, but not all are same.
- 7:09I am your subscriber, that is, I watch your channel regularly, I watch your videos,
- 7:15I get a lot of learning from you.
- 7:17Thank you sir.
- 7:19What I learned from you is 'masters in one'—
- 7:23okay, 'masters in one'—that’s something I learned from you.
- 7:27Nice thank you.
- 7:29I learned different things from various YouTubers or mentors,
- 7:33and by accumulating all these good things, I've tried to improve my trading style.
- 7:40Okay.
- 7:42So this is a similar journey sir.
- 7:44Okay, so sir, just like you told me that in
- 7:48the beginning you used to trade by listening to someone, then like you
- 7:52have also filled in the google form that right now you have a personal swing trading setup
- 7:57and you are doing better in that,
- 8:00So, if you don't mind, sir, would you be willing to share your swing trading method or style with us?
- 8:09Yes, I would like to
- 8:12because if my trading style helps any of your subscribers learn something
- 8:18or take something useful from it—even if they don’t like everything,
- 8:23but find one good thing they can apply in their life—then I’d be happy to share it with you.
- 8:33Okay sir, you tell me.
- 8:36Normally I only do swing trading and it does not mean that I
- 8:44do not have knowledge of option trading or something,
- 8:46I have knowledge in options also but it does not suit my trading style,
- 8:52because I am a working professional,
- 8:54so I have to pay attention to my work also, so I am not able to do it day to day, so
- 9:00I have chosen my trading style according to my work,
- 9:06You have developed it.
- 9:07A little bit of investing, more of investing combined with swing trading and short-term trading
- 9:16You could say it’s a trading style of around 1-2 months,
- 9:21and whenever I have time or a holiday, I also do options trading.
- 9:26But it's very rare which is 1% or negligible.
- 9:31I only took two trades in this financial year, okay.
- 9:34It is very nice to hear that you know what you should do,
- 9:39that is, to do a good job in the market, we should know what we should not do,
- 9:45you at least know this that is, when you are on the job then you do not have to do option trading.
- 9:50So, if you want to show something then you can share the screen sir.
- 9:56Yes, yes, I’ll share my screen. I normally have a small setup, sir,
- 10:02which I always work on and believe that whatever
- 10:07probability there is in it, the maximum time its plus only, just
- 10:14want to say one thing that I too am not 100% correct, I also work on probability,
- 10:20no trader can be 100% perfect but whenever I take this trade
- 10:27or I keep in my mind, whenever you take a trade, there’s always a 50% accuracy,
- 10:33just like if you toss a coin—there’s an equal probability of it landing on heads or tails.
- 10:42Similarly, whenever you take trade, there is a probability
- 10:46that it will go up or down, that is, if it goes up, you have won 50% probability
- 10:52but the remaining is 50%, how can you be right in that, then that is
- 11:00How to reduce losing probability, for that you will have to use a little technical.
- 11:06Technical in the sense that 50% you are right, understand that
- 11:12The remaining 50% doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be right;
- 11:16to get to 70 or 80%, you’ll need to develop your skills for that extra 20%.
- 11:23A little technically and also a little fundamentally.
- 11:28You will have to do a little bit accordingly, so my trading
- 11:32setup is like this sir, normally if you look at the stocks, I
- 11:39avoid the breakout stocks a little bit, like today, consider this Infosys is on top, so I
- 11:48don't know, it can breakout here but can also come down so
- 11:54probability is 50-50, ok, so I see good company on bad days normally.
- 12:03So Infosys is good company so when I am here ok then it is making higher high higher high
- 12:10So see if I enter here then my losing probability is here also
- 12:16if I have to come back at this price then I have to complete this much journey
- 12:19This time period of mine, from this period to that period, will be the best after that there will be profit
- 12:26Whenever I see if the stocks come down, if a good company comes down and there is
- 12:33a retracement then I enter then what I look for is that it is possible that if it
- 12:40comes down then it can come down further then I look 3 confirmation.
- 12:46Firstly just to show, I have put the chart on weekly time frame.
- 12:53If you do monthly or weekly, then you will follow the trend well.
- 13:00The smaller the time frame, it will confuse people. It will keep moving up and down.
- 13:05So for nose cancellation, you can enter in such stocks
- 13:09which is showing a clear trend in weekly time frame and monthly time frame.
- 13:15So my method is such that sir, I let the stocks go down a little, meaning if
- 13:22there is a downward trend in the stocks and it is showing a retracement, then I
- 13:30have kept two moving averages, this is 30 and this is 44 moving average, so my method is that
- 13:36if any stock is coming down and cross the 30 moving average, then
- 13:43this is my first indicator that I'll look at these stocks first
- 13:51I will not take them and there is another method to buy that I
- 13:55will do double confirmation or triple confirmation in it. Like in any stock, three things
- 14:04have to be seen - price, volume and strength in it. If all the three are present in it. Only then will the
- 14:10stock go up, otherwise the price alone will do nothing, if there is no strength in it,
- 14:15then how to find it out.
- 14:17So, look, price action is in its place,
- 14:21showing at what price point the stock is diverging or reversing.
- 14:28Then there's a resistance zone above and a support zone here.
- 14:31So with this support zone, the probability increases that the stock will go up.
- 14:38Then that zone had gone above from here last time,
- 14:42firstly this come by learning. As we learn gradually, we
- 14:48will come to know by looking at the chart, so one option is that you can see that it
- 14:53is reversing from the previous support,
- 14:55it has crossed 30 SMA, then I use all the moving average.
- 15:01I will tell you how to use it and you can also put SMA also.
- 15:07It is not much difference but my experience. I have experience. There is a
- 15:12setup which I have prepared in it HMA fits me perfectly.
- 15:16Okay, so what is this HMA sir?
- 15:20It's HULL moving average, you can also apply simple moving average, you can also apply EMA.
- 15:25So show me once how to put it.
- 15:28Well see, if you go to studies, here it is moving average.
- 15:34Okay, moving average if you type in this.
- 15:39If we do this, then the moving average is 50.
- 15:43Okay I understood.
- 15:44Here if you put 200, then
- 15:47you will go here and in this you will select Hull. Hull Moving Average
- 15:53HULL.
- 15:54Yes.
- 15:56You can also apply exponential, you can also apply simple,
- 16:00but the hull works exactly in my setup. That's why I use HULL moving average.
- 16:07I tried all of them but HULL is perfect for me.
- 16:12Yes, in your setup, there's a 30-day HULL Moving Average (HMA) applied on the price.
- 16:1930 days HMA you can see it on the screen.
- 16:22And these is 44HMA, then it will appear
- 16:25So this will be applied above the price.
- 16:27And when this stock crosses the 30 HMA for the first time while falling,
- 16:34that's the moment to keep an eye on it. You will not buy, you will keep an eye on it, you will not buy.
- 16:39Yes sir.
- 16:40I have understood this till now, tell me further sir.
- 16:43Now I will put MACD here for double confirmation and the setting of MACD is (21,3,9)
- 16:53This is the normal setting or have you changed it?
- 16:56No sir, you can change in it here, fast is 3 and 21 is slow and it's a average period of 9
- 17:10So, this is the setting. It can be different even in the default setting,
- 17:16So you can see it, I use this because I also use this in the scanner.
- 17:22I will go ahead and tell you what it is.
- 17:24Okay sir.
- 17:26When I plot it in this
- 17:30So I look for one thing: along with the price, I need at least 8 histograms to be formed below.
- 17:36This is the zero line and MACD convergence and divergence which happens.
- 17:42When it is made it should be made below the zero line of MACD. If it is made above
- 17:49then I am not much interested in it, like it is made here, I will not be interested.
- 17:54I want it to be made below, it has to be made below the zero line
- 17:57And this histogram can be of any number,
- 18:00but there should be a minimum of 8 histograms formed below.
- 18:02So sir, here I have a question that if
- 18:04the bar which we call a histogram 8 should be formed below, but should they be green or red?
- 18:11It can be anything, meaning green is a strength in it.
- 18:16First the histogram will become red, when it has to be diverted then it will become green.
- 18:21Well meaning basically if there is a green candle then it will become green,
- 18:23if there is a red candle then it will become red.
- 18:25Yes.
- 18:26But in our method, whether they are green or red, the histogram bars should be below.
- 18:33Yes, it should be down. 8 and above.
- 18:36It can be any number of 8, 10, 12, 15,
- 18:40So I can know with one eye how big the histogram is made,
- 18:46the deeper the swing will be. So this is OK weekly if we are seeing
- 18:53When 8 histograms are formed, and there should be a MACD crossover
- 19:00along with the first green candle.
- 19:02Now look, it has crossed here, but the MACD hasn't crossed, so I won't make my entry.
- 19:08Because here a small red is formed
- 19:11when it will be properly crossed here and the first histogram green will be formed above then
- 19:18I will take entry in between these. In this two moving averages in the stock I'll enter.
- 19:23So sir right now this is the chart of weekly time frame
- 19:26and this will be closed on Friday, then my question to you is,
- 19:29if the histograms are closing on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday,
- 19:34but the histogram will be final on closing basis,
- 19:38then understand when should we take entry, should we wait for Friday's close
- 19:42or should we start making entry from the middle.
- 19:45Meaning if you can create an entry between these two and a confirmation
- 19:51when I take which is strength. From where will I get this Strength. This is from RSI then I will still
- 19:57not take it even if it is made I will not take it because I need a third confirmation.
- 20:03If you want your setup to be perfect, then you trade only a little but do it well until it
- 20:09is made. Journey is big, okay, I want to show it. Okay, journey is big.
- 20:15To ride the journey, it needs to be in a perfect setup. Look at this it is RSI.
- 20:21I have taken the RSI of nine periods. Normally we write RSI of 14 periods,
- 20:29so you should take nine periods. In this RSI, I have plotted
- 20:34the moving average of three days. This thin line,
- 20:42it is a 3 day moving average, black color in it is an RSI, and
- 20:52a red color, it is a weighted moving average.
- 20:59You will be able to see it on the screen WMA, so this a Moving average of 21 days.
- 21:06And sir, sorry, I am interrupting you.
- 21:10Now, just understand, I have plotted the RSI on the chart, how do I add these two moving averages
- 21:16inside it?
- 21:17Okay, So you can do this: first, you set up the RSI.
- 21:26Okay you have typed the RSI here.
- 21:33You will apply this RSI. Like, I have applied this, so
- 21:38let me show you right now. So I have applied RSI. We will set it up, we will make it of 9 period
- 21:43The default period is 14, I want nine.
- 21:48So I'll keep it black in color, okay.
- 21:51In this, it is a overbought and oversold zone,
- 21:58So I will make it 50-50.
- 22:04Okay I understood.
- 22:05And in 50 you give some color,
- 22:08whatever colour you want to give
- 22:10We have to sell and you have to buy green if it is below it, then you give it a color,
- 22:15then it will become yours, now understand that it is made. So on top of this I also have to plot.
- 22:23Okay, this has become 92 because the first is already made, I will show it to you, then
- 22:28you will open RSI two or some other moving average will be placed, sorry,
- 22:35you will go to this next, you will place moving average three. Here you put a moving average,
- 22:43here you put three periods, its color is green, you can make it green
- 22:49and on which RSI to plot it? RSI 2. OK.
- 22:54This is RSI one, RSI two. Right now, I have already created one, so to show you,
- 22:59I have plotted at two.
- 23:03Meaning we are adding moving average. At the same time, we have to add RSI instead of price.
- 23:10I have to look at RSI. I have to look at strength that
- 23:14it is beating the strength or not, have to check that. Okay, and one more thing, we
- 23:19have to put another moving average which is of 21 days weighted moving average ok this you
- 23:27Not simple, weighted means what happens only today, understand
- 23:33that if there are only two trades in a stock, today, first trade is done at Rs 100, second at Rs 150,
- 23:39then growth is seen 50%, but if it is weighted then only two stock is traded, then
- 23:45we do not have to see that. We have to see the price with volume. If it is coming in some stock
- 23:52and the strength in it is cutting it and going up, that means that the real
- 23:56strength is coming in that stock, then 21 days weighted average is very important and
- 24:02should be given importance i.e. with volume and price, then when you
- 24:07make a combination of both and plot it, you have to plot it again at RSI 2
- 24:15and you color it red. Understand that it will come like this, okay, this
- 24:20is made to show, this is yours.
- 24:23So I asked you this, sir, because I also
- 24:26did not know that we can plot the moving average on RSI also.
- 24:30Yes, in reality, if you want price movement, then it is called RSI.
- 24:37RSI means strength, you can say relative strength index and price,
- 24:40Both of these are its 21-day weighted moving average, not the simple average.
- 24:45You can trade any stock for one day, two days, but if you look at its 21-day business,
- 24:55the volume with quantity, if the price is going above that, it means real strength is coming into it.
- 25:02then we should see that it is 21 days.
- 25:05We understood your RSI setting
- 25:08Now you tell me, whenever you enter a trade, what is its complete plan?
- 25:13Okay, so how will I know when this thing will be made?
- 25:20The biggest thing is that when and how will this thing be made, so I use charting scanner in this.
- 25:27So, I have created some of my own alerts,
- 25:32okay, I have coded it, meaning you can create a screener.
- 25:38So I have created my own rules, see this, NH means mix rules on 30 HMA
- 25:45So, I made a rule that when MACD crosses over, if the histogram that I
- 25:52told you, how many histograms should be made, 10 weekly histograms, I can also do
- 25:588 in our setting, then due to the condition that I have put in the scanner, you will get these
- 26:04results, I alerted the scanners on the bot using IFT
- 26:13and from this I get messages directly on the bot on Telegram. Like this
- 26:20Telegram is there so whenever this condition is met, I get a message here.
- 26:25I understood.
- 26:27If I want to give you an example I got an alert
- 26:32on 14th at 12:27 on 397 price so we will see in this stock what is it ok then
- 26:42see Sanghvi Movers
- 26:43Sir I will tell you. I'll repeat what you taught me now.
- 26:49Then first I will look at the price and the two moving averages above the price,
- 26:54then you have told me that, if the stock goes above the 30 Hull moving average,
- 27:01then it should be in our watch list. Then that
- 27:03stock had almost gone up at the time of one Doji candle after that,
- 27:10which is the second moving average? Sir, the second moving average is our 44 HMA
- 27:17So, when the stock is between 30 and 44 Hull moving averages.
- 27:24Not above, no, you can do in the middle, our entry should be in the middle, but this
- 27:29same candle went above and in the middle simultaneously.
- 27:32Yes, yes, so I got an alert here
- 27:34because this stock is of today its at 464, it is going on, somewhere herer an alert came, then 397
- 27:40means look here, this price alert has come, 397.
- 27:44I understand, OK,
- 27:45And the second thing is that at that time, I should see its histogram also. That is,
- 27:52the histogram bars more than eight should be at the bottom, then it is visible that
- 27:56Right.
- 27:58It works more than that also.
- 28:01Correct and after that you spoke about RSI
- 28:05Changing the normal setting of RSI and made it 9
- 28:13And then a weightage of 21 was applied and another was of three days' moving average
- 28:21So here the RSI is also being crossed over, meaning
- 28:26It means that the 9 and 3 moving averages are both crossing the 21-day weighted average.
- 28:34Yes, both price and strength together will cross the 21 weighted moving average.
- 28:40Then it will be activated here.
- 28:42It has also become positive.
- 28:45Yes, it has become positive.
- 28:47Sir, right, here, like your alert had come in the middle of your moving average,
- 28:52above the price, your alert would have come between the two
- 28:57and at the same time, your entry gets created there.
- 29:00Yes sir, correct. So, if I explain it to you, it’s not that it will happen in just one setup.
- 29:08Look, this setup appeared in Sanghvi Movers, and you can see there are two more trades like this.
- 29:15Yes, Ganesh Housing. Let's see this also was the setup made.
- 29:24See, Ganesh Housing
- 29:27It was made in the last week itself.
- 29:30Yes, it has been made here somewhere, it has come here, but if I needed confirmation,
- 29:37then we will make an entry somewhere here, above this it is not necessary that it
- 29:43can be made above this also, but these three things should be confirmed to us,
- 29:46Meaning your moving average above the price 30 and 44 Hull Moving Average.
- 29:51It's 30 and 44 right above the price?
- 29:55Yes, 30 and 44, so when the stock is in between those two moving averages, somewhere
- 30:00there, our entry starts being made, because the stock is strong
- 30:07Yes, I was saying the same that once it comes in the middle of the moving average,
- 30:14after that our triple confirmation which is of histogram, MACD and RSI that we have to take.
- 30:22Yes.
- 30:23Right, now I have a question sir.
- 30:28Well, you told me the entry, now you
- 30:31tell me during entry because I will ask you target later. For me, the most
- 30:35important thing is where should I place the stop loss, then where should I place it.
- 30:40Normally, I keep the stop loss below the swing, suppose if entry is made here
- 30:46then my stop loss is made below this.
- 30:49I understood, where it has consolidated and moved around.
- 30:53With our confirmation you keep the stop loss on its swing low. Best.
- 30:58Yes sir, actually with my experience, I avoid my stop loss,
- 31:06i.e. I will not say that to new traders that they should avoid, but my conviction is that
- 31:11I see an opportunity that if it comes here also, then if it is
- 31:17below 5%, I will definitely average the stock once.
- 31:21Means when it comes near stop loss, then you average,
- 31:26If it is above 5%
- 31:28if it is possible, then or else I'll avoid. I will not generally suggest anyone to avoid srop loss.
- 31:36Because you should always maintain the stop loss because if out of 10, 1-2 stop loss hits
- 31:43then no problem but your 80% accuracy will be maintained then you can give stoploss no problem
- 31:51Now sir I'll ask you a general question.
- 31:55In this, what’s the maximum and minimum percentage for the stop loss in a trade?
- 32:02If I see, sir, there is a small swing. So here I would prefer more risk and reward,
- 32:09meaning if you talk about Sanghvi Movers.
- 32:15If you will see in this that the reward is more, yes, the reward is high.
- 32:20The reward is high, it means that the previous highs in the weekly are far away.
- 32:26Yes, yes.
- 32:28So even after this, my method is that it will not go one shot, it will go up and down
- 32:36and spend some time to reach here, maybe it will go back from here or
- 32:41it will go after breaking out, I don't know, my journey is till here right now.
- 32:45Okay, I mean, I have just understood that your target is the previous swing high
- 32:51from where it had recently started falling down, so it means that it is visible in Sanghvi, from where
- 32:57the trade is being made and where its last high was long compared to Ganesh Housing.
- 33:03Yes, if you see here then the reward. If you see from here,
- 33:09the reward is around 70-80%. So I will activate this trade.
- 33:16Okay and even after activating, I will not put full money, that is, I will put some money
- 33:22here and if it crosses it, then the rest of the money I'll put in it and I ride it.
- 33:30There is also a method of riding it, sir, what I do our top gainers
- 33:36Which is the top gainer of today, if you understand, I have taken Sanghvi , took Infosys
- 33:43and have taken Ganesh Housing, okay by doing this suppose I have 20 stocks.
- 33:49So today I would have sold the top gainer at 10% if that has 3% above gain in today's portfolio's
- 33:57Then I will sell 3% like I can show you a photograph.
- 34:02I will sell today means on today's day if that is above 3% today
- 34:08Okay just if you can see this. This is my portfolio today.
- 34:15This is the old screenshot I have taken to make you understand.
- 34:20Okay, so today understand that I have Solara in my portfolio and it is up at 8%.
- 34:26So here I will exit 20% quantity of 950.
- 34:32Correct, it is double above from your calculation, it is double.
- 34:37So I will not exit the entire quantity,
- 34:39whatever available quantity I have, that 95 * 2 is somewhere around 180, 190, so
- 34:47I will exit 190 stocks from this
- 34:49If suppose it remained at 3 or 4%, I would have taken out around 95 stocks.
- 34:55Yes, So I'll go through the top 3 gainers of today, ranking them by percentage.
- 35:04Okay.
- 35:06So it is not that they will just keep getting gain every day. So when they come down tomorrow?
- 35:11So I put the money I have taken out from them in today's loser.
- 35:17Suppose something is 3% and above
- 35:20So I'm not seeing any losers above 3% today; otherwise, I would have included them.
- 35:28For example: Understand that if it's down 3% today, I would add 10% more funds to it.
- 35:36I understood meaning what you do
- 35:38swing in swing.
- 35:40You'll take 10% out from each of your top gainers above 3%
- 35:46and add that amount to your top losers that are down more than 3%.
- 35:51That means you are making another trade within one trade, sir.
- 35:55Yes, one trade within another trade, so I am like, Sir, I am not concerned with 3000 stocks, whatever
- 36:01stock is in my portfolio, that 20 stock is my world, that is my share market.
- 36:05Sir, are you Gujarati or Marwari?
- 36:08No sir.
- 36:09Meaning you are letting the money work for you.
- 36:12The quality within you is that of the Gujarati Marwari people that you
- 36:18have put money to double use.
- 36:20Yes sir, if you have to make a CAGR, then you have to utilize your funds wisely,
- 36:27So today that will go up, will come back down tomorrow, when it comes down,
- 36:31then we will take it back somewhere if it comes 3% so, its journey goes up and down, up and down
- 36:37Going 1%, okay, no one will do anything, if you suppose it has gone 5%.
- 36:42Will sell, some day it will happen that it will come below 3% also, like here it has come, so
- 36:48I will take it here, then there will be gain, then I will do this, it will make my CAGR good, sir.
- 36:54This is a very good thing, Sir, now this was very unique. But now you do me one thing sir,
- 36:59tell me any two good recent examples of yours which have gone well for you and
- 37:05also tell one example which has failed.
- 37:09Yes means failed, yes
- 37:12If you remember any one example then.
- 37:15Yeah, it means we will also see how failures happen in this; that happens sometimes.
- 37:24Now we were looking at the stock, it was here now.
- 37:27These are all your alerts which comes at telegram.
- 37:32So I mean different. Apart from this, we will see this stock it has not failed,
- 37:40it means that it is spending time somewhere,
- 37:44you will see that here, but I am still waiting for confirmation on this. Okay.
- 37:53You have started taking some entry in this.
- 37:56Yes, I have started taking some entries.
- 38:00You will see this 3 stocks.
- 38:05Sanghvi Movers, Schaeffler and Ganesh Housing
- 38:10Right, so you are getting a perfect setup, according to me, if in this If I see anything wrong
- 38:16then I don't do it, like the moving average is not working properly
- 38:20or the histogram are not being made properly,
- 38:22or the price or strength are not showing properly, I want a clean setup, I want clean swing,
- 38:28then entry should be made in it.
- 38:30Okay, so now sir, I will revise the entire method once again
- 38:36Through which I can also understand and our viewers can also understand.
- 38:40So the first thing is that you do swing trading
- 38:43and your time frame is weekly time frame. You do weekly time
- 38:48frame so that your noise gets reduced because you have noticed
- 38:53that the noise gets reduced in bigger time frames. Perfect, then
- 38:58what do you do? You do not buy on the breakout of whatever stock is there. When its
- 39:02retracement happens at the time of its turn, then you try to enter it.
- 39:10Now you have used 3 things to do that, that is, you have placed 2 moving averages above the price.
- 39:16You have placed two hull moving averages. You told me how to apply it,
- 39:20One is 30 and the other is 44. So whenever the stock
- 39:27falls from top to bottom for the first time, after making a little base, 30 hull moving average
- 39:32comes up a little, at that time you are alerted. Whatever is the name of your stock,
- 39:39you get an alert from the scanner made by you, it comes in the watch list,
- 39:45after that you see that the MACD, the histogram 8 bars should be down
- 39:54This is a confirmation for you on weekly basis and after that
- 40:01you have used RSI as a strength indicator but in RSI
- 40:06you have changed your normal average to nine and then inside that
- 40:11you have added two moving averages, that is, one moving average is of 3 day and one
- 40:17weighted moving average of 21 days. Where there are two moving averages, 9 and 3
- 40:24when it crosses the 21 moving average. Weightage moving average is given then you
- 40:29get confirmation of your strength also, right and when you got all this confirmation,
- 40:37then first obviously you had created the position by looking at the moving average of the price
- 40:42and like that moving average crosses over above also, your
- 40:46strength increases further, then this is your entry, now you place stop loss that is previous
- 40:52swing low right and your target is the high of the fall
- 41:00where that trend started falling that high is your target.
- 41:05And within it you make exits in between and also
- 41:10enter in some other stock. You also told about that but if I don't see that
- 41:14then your simple process is this.
- 41:17Yes, that's right sir.
- 41:22Yes sir tell.
- 41:23You say sir.
- 41:25I mean, what I used to do is that just now I saw 79% in trade
- 41:31from here to there, so for you it's 70% but
- 41:43it is 100% for me sir.
- 41:44Yes, because you will hit entry in between.
- 41:47Yes ok, I have to go to 80%, but when I
- 41:51move it up and down, then when I reach here, I will make 100-120% return.
- 41:58Correct Sir, now I'll ask you a question, understand that if these
- 42:03Sanghvi Movers in the coming five days goes up 3% every day, then you will sell 10%
- 42:09quantity everyday.
- 42:10Yes sir.
- 42:12So, it means that by the time it reaches the top, if it keeps moving up continuously,
- 42:17you might not even have any quantity left by the time it actually reaches the top.
- 42:22Few will be left.
- 42:23because what is it Sir, if I do it, it will also come down, so I will also add 10%,
- 42:27Okay, no, I am just asking this question because the question I
- 42:32am asking is in such a way that I am asking whatever is coming in the minds of my viewers.
- 42:36Yes, not complete 100% will be over because I am buying it.
- 42:42And whatever stock is left with me, I am selling its 10%.
- 42:48I was just showing you.
- 42:51Yes tell me.
- 42:52You tell.
- 42:54Meaning I was telling you, if this stock is of 950, I am selling it tomorrow after Rs 950, if 190 stocks
- 43:02are minus then I will sell the remaining quantity 10%.
- 43:06I understood. Meaning you are not exiting 10% of original,
- 43:10you are always calculating on what is left,
- 43:14So, sir, is there anything related to the strategy that you still have left to share with us?
- 43:22It is almost correct, this thing will come with a little practice,
- 43:28it will be a little difficult from day one, it will be sometimes difficult to recognize someone
- 43:34whether it has strength or not, they will hurry
- 43:39if, say, we rush here, a scenario is forming, but it hasn’t crossed yet.
- 43:45then yes, here they didn't not exit so if someone bets early and takes entry, then he
- 43:50will have to wait for some time, then someone will come there.
- 43:52Well, even if you had taken it, there is a stop loss.
- 43:56Yes, the stop loss is there.
- 44:01Right, if seen actually, it is a slightly higher version than swing trading
- 44:07because we are using the time frame weekly.
- 44:10Yes sir.
- 44:11Now sir, for how long have you been following this method?
- 44:15I have been following this for almost two years sir.
- 44:18Okay and earlier means I have also learned a little bit
- 44:24that I used to do wrong entry but now the perfect setup has been made so now I have done
- 44:32a little bit of it as you say, Masters in one. Well, I want to become master in one in this.
- 44:40So I have done little mastery in it.
- 44:44Well, Sir, this is not my personal thought,
- 44:47I read a lot of things, so I read a quote by Bruce Lee
- 44:52that I'm not afraid of the fighter who comes to fight after practicing 10,000 different kicks;
- 44:58I'm afraid of the fighter who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
- 45:04His one kick can knock me down.
- 45:09So sir when we were recording this video, before that you told
- 45:15that you are following this strategy in your account, so can you show us the result, sir.
- 45:21Yes, I can show, sir.
- 45:24Okay.
- 45:24Sir I have 3 accounts.
- 45:28This is my zerodha account sir.
- 45:34I will go to the report
- 45:38I can show you the current financial year.
- 45:45Okay.
- 45:46This is the current financial year. Sir see this.
- 45:52Sir, how much capital have you put in it? My capital in this is around
- 45:55Around 85K.
- 46:00Sir, right now with profit you are saying Rs. 85K
- 46:04Yes Sir, yes, I actually started with Rs. 2-3 Lakh capital 2 years back.
- 46:11It was around Rs. 5 lakh in Corona period, so here you can see that also
- 46:16my capital, you can see that around January I
- 46:21had a holding of some 57-48. The capital was 50-57. If you see today, it is almost 86.
- 46:31If you go back one year, it was very low.
- 46:36So sir, in this you obviously in this you also increased the capital by making profit
- 46:40but you also kept including capital in it, sometimes.
- 46:43I also kept adding it a little bit but more than the profit, I was looking at the report
- 46:50a small report if you will look at the current financial year. It is of 6 months.
- 46:56There are about 16-17 lakh added in this 85 and last year's it was 30 L.
- 47:04One thing I am seeing is that you have only two days of red color and rest is green sir.
- 47:14Yes sir.
- 47:15if I'll show you my personal P&L, there are a lot of reds in it too,
- 47:21But I felt happy to see this thing from you
- 47:24and you are telling me that you are not doing this full time, you are also doing your job,
- 47:27As well as this is also going on.
- 47:30Even though I don't trade in Laptop
- 47:34I trade it with phone.
- 47:38That too, sir, during the two hours in the afternoon that are lunch break time,
- 47:43I spend 15-20 minutes checking top losers and gainers.
- 47:49But for entries, I spend one hour in the evening studying it.
- 47:54Meaning you find stocks in Off market.
- 47:58Yes sir.
- 48:00Right and which is the other account sir,
- 48:03I also have an account HDFC, there are three accounts sir, this is my wife's account, you can see.
- 48:09There is one red
- 48:11Oh, And that red is the same one showing in your account, I think.
- 48:14Yes sir, I have booked that little bit, you will see and this one.
- 48:21Yes, it's the same day,
- 48:24Yes.
- 48:25Right sir.
- 48:27Stocks where it did not work well, I removed it. I took stoploss.
- 48:31Correct.
- 48:33Yes sir.
- 48:34I had any intention that after showing your P&L, I will not do that thing,
- 48:40Sir, I mean, if someone gets benefit from it, then I will definitely, I mean, I also did not want to show it,
- 48:47but you asked, that's why I did it. So I am always ready to share good things so that it
- 48:54can be used by someone. So this is also my account which is in plus.
- 48:59Which account is this?
- 49:01This is my HDFC account, if you look here also
- 49:07you will see my portfolio or summary of Profit and loss, holding etc.
- 49:16Whatever is the holding of equity, then you can see that
- 49:20the market has fallen so much, still this portfolio is plus, here I
- 49:25have realised so much, so this is what sir. A small 31 Lakh portfolio.
- 49:31Let me tell you the truth, Nitin ji, after seeing your portfolio and this method of yours, I
- 49:39am a little impressed and I am telling you sir that I will use this method for myself also.
- 49:46Because you know what is the main thing of this method
- 49:50instead of breakout, you are entering retracement point, where no one pays attention.
- 49:56The risk is less and the reward is more, sir.
- 50:00That's very correct.
- 50:00Naturally also the risk is less and the reward is more Sir.
- 50:04Right sir, it was very nice to talk to you and I am really
- 50:10getting a very good feeling that Nitin ji is a subscriber of our channel
- 50:17and he is also doing very well in his life and sir, one question is coming in my mind
- 50:22that how did you develop this strategy?
- 50:25Meaning how much time does it took?
- 50:27It took me almost one to two years sir from 18-19th Covid period,
- 50:32when I got time during Covid, I
- 50:36implemented many strategies and I almost take 80% of trade on this strategy.
- 50:44And rest I follow the remaining two strategies, but very rarely trade in it and make
- 50:50I only go for breakouts occasionally, but only when I have a lot of conviction but very rare.
- 50:57I manage to survive with it, sir.
- 50:59Well, now there is one question, suppose if a person has
- 51:03a capital of Rs 1 lakh or Rs 5 lakh and he wants to follow your strategy,
- 51:07then in how many stocks should he divide that money in the beginning?
- 51:12What should be the number of shares in the portfolio in the beginning?
- 51:15Don’t put in more than 5% of your capital.
- 51:20I want to say maximum 20 stocks.
- 51:24Whatever you do with this, limit it to 20% of your capital.
- 51:29I would have stocked a little more because my strategy is different, it doesn't matter to me
- 51:34how many stocks are there in my portfolio,
- 51:36I want to see the top gainers, which if you consider, my 10 out of 10.
- 51:42Now if it is above 3 % then I will sell all 10.
- 51:45And if it is 50 then I will also sell 50. Someone says me that
- 51:54how would you have manage 50
- 51:55then it's nothing just apply filter, I have to sell the above stocks and put in filter.
- 52:00Middle will go to the stagnant.
- 52:02The only focus is on entry and exit, remove everything else
- 52:09Have to take money everyday. Yes sir tell.
- 52:12I noticed one thing about you that you have designed all the things very well
- 52:16and everything's alerts are coming on your Telegram, meaning people
- 52:22download Telegram so that they can join other groups around the world and take advantage,
- 52:27but I noticed one thing, you have used Telegram in a correct way, which
- 52:32I really want to tell you, till today I am also not doing it.
- 52:34Okay sir.
- 52:35Whenever you come to Mumbai
- 52:37or I come to your place, we will definitely meet in person and I
- 52:43want to sit with you and learn all this in a better way.
- 52:46Yes sir it's my pleasure sir. Definitely.
- 52:49No, look sir, let me tell you one thing, I created this channel and after that my intention was this.
- 52:54I thought that I should teach people whatever I know, right but it is not like that, only what I
- 52:59know exists in the world, many people know many things and
- 53:03you are an example of that, so if you know something good. So we must learn that.
- 53:08I'm happy because you started this "Market aur Mai" series
- 53:13There will be many people like me who are doing good work in the market. They should also
- 53:20get a chance to show their good work. It is not my intention that profit will be made,
- 53:27I don't have any issue whether I will come to your channel or not, but you do good work,
- 53:33I felt that those who want to make money in shortcuts, want to do this,
- 53:40then money will not be made in shortcuts, you will have to put in some time.
- 53:43And once you fix your timing and create a solid setup, the market will reward you greatly.
- 53:50The market will give you green and green.
- 53:53And you are not just speaking, you are showing, you have shown it.
- 54:00And that is very good sir.
- 54:01So thank you very much sir.
- 54:03it was a pleasure to talk to you, if I ever get a chance, if you come to Mumbai then you must
- 54:08come to our office, we will make a good video again in a good quality,
- 54:13it will be more fun, thank you sir, it was a lot of fun.
