How I Create Viral Documentaries For Free | Full Tutorial | 100% AI — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00I'm about to show you how I turn one
- 0:01idea into a full cinematic documentary
- 0:04completely for free using AI. But before
- 0:06we jump into the tutorial, let's take a
- 0:07look at this short documentary video I
- 0:10created.
- 0:10>> In 2008, Elon [music] Musk was weeks
- 0:12away from losing everything. He had
- 0:14already made over $180 million from
- 0:16PayPal,
- 0:17>> [music]
- 0:17>> but instead of retiring, he bet nearly
- 0:19all of it on two companies everyone
- 0:21thought would fail, [music] Tesla and
- 0:23SpaceX.
- 0:24Tesla was running out of cash.
- 0:26SpaceX had already blown up three
- 0:28rockets. [music]
- 0:29Investors walked away.
- 0:31The media called him reckless.
- 0:33>> [music]
- 0:33>> Then came one final chance.
- 0:36The fourth SpaceX launch had to succeed.
- 0:38If it failed, there wasn't enough money
- 0:40for another [music] rocket.
- 0:41The countdown began.
- 0:43The rocket lifted off.
- 0:45And this time, it reached orbit.
- 0:47Weeks later, NASA awarded SpaceX a $1.6
- 0:50billion contract, while Tesla secured
- 0:53emergency funding that kept the company
- 0:55alive.
- 0:56Today, Tesla changed the auto industry,
- 0:58SpaceX [music] changed space travel, and
- 1:00the man who was days from bankruptcy
- 1:02became the richest person in the world.
- 1:05Sometimes history is written by the
- 1:06people who refuse to quit.
- 1:08>> In today's video, I'm breaking down my
- 1:10exact process start to finish for
- 1:12creating faceless documentary videos
- 1:14using completely free tools. Let's get
- 1:16into it. Step one, open up ChatGPT. I've
- 1:19already built a master prompt that
- 1:20generates 10 scroll-stopping documentary
- 1:22topic ideas in seconds. Get that prompt
- 1:25in the description below and paste it
- 1:26in. Hit enter, and ChatGPT gives you a
- 1:29full list to choose from. Pick the one
- 1:31that hooks you the hardest. I'll go with
- 1:33this one for today's example. Copy it,
- 1:35paste it back into ChatGPT, and ask for
- 1:37a full script. ChatGPT's first draft is
- 1:40usually long and detailed. Great for
- 1:42accuracy, too much for a 60-to-90-second
- 1:45short. [music] So, I ask it to tighten
- 1:46the script down for the sake of this
- 1:48tutorial. Keep the narrative arc, but
- 1:50cut it to [music] size. Here is the
- 1:51result it gave me. Next, we turn that
- 1:54script into a voiceover. I'm using Dub
- 1:56Dub AI because it's free and the voices
- 1:58sound natural.
- 1:59>> [music]
- 2:00>> Paste your script into the
- 2:01text-to-speech box, pick a voice that
- 2:03matches your tone, and export. In under
- 2:05a minute, you've got a broadcast-ready
- 2:07voiceover. No mic, no recording booth,
- 2:10no retakes. Here's where this method
- 2:12starts to differ from what most creators
- 2:14are doing. Instead of manually writing
- 2:16an image prompt for every single line,
- 2:18which takes forever, I run my voiceover
- 2:20through a free transcript generator that
- 2:22outputs timestamps for every sentence. I
- 2:25upload the audio file to a free
- 2:26transcript tool called TurboScribe AI
- 2:29and copy the transcript with timestamps.
- 2:31After editing where I want my image
- 2:33prompts to begin, now I have a timeline
- 2:35of exactly what's being said and when.
- 2:37That timestamped transcript is the key
- 2:40ingredient for step four. Quick pause,
- 2:42if this workflow is already saving you
- 2:43hours, hit subscribe because next I'm
- 2:45showing you the prompt that turns this
- 2:46entire transcript into a shot-by-shot
- 2:48storyboard automatically. This is the
- 2:50[music] part that took me weeks to
- 2:51figure out and I'm giving it to you for
- 2:54free. Don't hesitate to hit that like
- 2:56button, y'all. Let's keep going. Now go
- 2:58to Claude AI. It's usually best for
- 3:00image prompts. Open a brand new Claude
- 3:02chat, paste in your timestamped
- 3:04transcript, then give it this master
- 3:05prompt. I have linked it in the
- 3:07description for you, too. What this does
- 3:09is turn your entire voiceover into a
- 3:11ready-made shot list. [music] Every
- 3:13scene, every cutout, every transition
- 3:16already planned out before you touch an
- 3:17editor. You're not guessing what image
- 3:19goes where anymore. Now take each of
- 3:21those prompts and run them through your
- 3:23image generator of choice. I'm using
- 3:25Google Flow's Nano Banana 2, which is
- 3:27completely free. Paste each prompt in
- 3:30one by one, including the green screen
- 3:32cutout prompts, and generate. [music]
- 3:34Because your master prompt already
- 3:36labeled which shots are backgrounds and
- 3:37which are cutouts, you'll know exactly
- 3:39how to layer everything once we get to
- 3:41editing. Last step, CapCut. Drop your
- 3:44voiceover onto the timeline first.
- 3:46That's your foundation. Then bring in
- 3:48your background images and your green
- 3:49screen cutouts. For your cutout shots,
- 3:52use CapCut's Chroma Key green screen
- 3:54removal to isolate the subject, then
- 3:56layer it on top of your background
- 3:57plate. This gives you that parallax,
- 3:59multi-layer documentary look without
- 4:01ever touching After Effects. From there,
- 4:03add your text overlays, sync them to the
- 4:06timestamps from your transcript, apply a
- 4:08subtle zoom or pan for movement, and add
- 4:10a grain or projector style effect if you
- 4:12want that classic documentary texture.
- 4:14Once everything's synced and the pacing
- 4:16feels right, export in 4K and you're
- 4:18done.
- 4:19>> One man was rejected by [music] almost
- 4:21every job he applied for. The police
- 4:23said no,
- 4:24hotel said no.
- 4:26He applied to KFC when it first opened
- 4:28in his city. 24 people [music] applied,
- 4:3123 got hired.
- 4:33He was the only one rejected.
- 4:35Most people would call that the end of
- 4:37the story. [music]
- 4:38For him, it was just the beginning.
- 4:41As a teenager, he spent years riding his
- 4:43bicycle [music] every morning just to
- 4:45practice English with tourists for free.
- 4:48He wasn't chasing money, he was chasing
- 4:50opportunity.
- 4:51>> [music]
- 4:52>> Years later, on his first trip to
- 4:53America, he discovered something that
- 4:55would change his life forever, the
- 4:57internet.
- 4:59He searched for one [music] word, China.
- 5:02Almost nothing showed up.
- 5:04That's when he realized the future
- 5:05hadn't been built yet.
- 5:07>> [music]
- 5:07>> So, he went home, borrowed money from
- 5:09friends, and started an online
- 5:11marketplace from [music] his tiny
- 5:12apartment with just 17 people.
- 5:15Everyone thought [singing] it would
- 5:16fail.
- 5:17That company became Alibaba.
- 5:20Today,
- 5:20>> [music]
- 5:21>> it's worth hundreds of billions of
- 5:22dollars and transformed how millions of
- 5:25businesses sell around the world.
- 5:27>> [music]
- 5:27>> The man nobody wanted to hire ended up
- 5:29building a company that created jobs and
- 5:31opportunities for millions.
- 5:34His name was Jack [music] Ma.
- 5:35Sometimes the biggest rejection is just
- 5:38the beginning of the biggest comeback.
- 5:39[music] And that's the entire process,
- 5:41all built for free, all powered by AI.
- 5:43You may notice some video clip, I simply
- 5:45animated the images in Google Flow using
- 5:46Veo 3.1 for free. Next, if you want to
- 5:48learn the simplest method these channels
- 5:50use to make thousands of dollars
- 5:51creating 3D documentary videos for free,
- 5:53you'll want to click that subscribe

- 5:56because the next video is for you. See
