How I Build Professional Local Business Websites in 2026 (SEO optimised - Claude code) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Right now, thousands of [music] people
- 0:01are searching Google for local
- 0:03businesses exactly like the ones you're
- 0:05building a website for now. And the
- 0:06business that shows up first wins the
- 0:08customers. And here's the problem.
- 0:10Everybody is building websites [music]
- 0:11with AI now. And they might look
- 0:12incredible, but almost none of them are
- 0:14actually showing up in Google search
- 0:16because looking good and getting found
- 0:18are two completely different things. And
- 0:20the thing that decides who ranks is the
- 0:23one step that every AI website video
- 0:26misses and that is the structure
- 0:28underneath. So in this video I'm
- 0:30building a complete local business
- 0:32website end to end with nothing left out
- 0:35using Claude code design and Astro.
- 0:38We're going to cover research design
- 0:40structure the build the technical SEO
- 0:42components and even ship this thing. So
- 0:44let's get to it. The first step does not
- 0:46start with the design or the build of
- 0:48the website, but it starts with a little
- 0:49bit of research and getting the
- 0:51structure of the website right. This is
- 0:52probably the most important step apart
- 0:54from optimizing the website, which we'll
- 0:56do in a couple of steps. But without
- 0:58getting this right, the rest does not
- 1:00work. And we want by the end of this
- 1:02step something that looks like this. I
- 1:04know it's very simple, but this is
- 1:05really going to help. All this is is to
- 1:07do some research in what are all the
- 1:09transactional keywords, the
- 1:10service-based keywords, and how they're
- 1:12going to kind of fit in alignment in the
- 1:14website altogether. See, most of these
- 1:16AI built websites, they look nice, but
- 1:18for the most part, they all tend to have
- 1:19this really simplistic structure to
- 1:21them. You have a homepage and you have a
- 1:23couple of pages on the site, maybe an
- 1:24about, a contact, one page with all the
- 1:27services in it and then one page with
- 1:28all the areas served in it, which is a
- 1:31huge mistake and it can rank you
- 1:34sometimes depending on the competitive
- 1:35niche that you're in. But for the most
- 1:37part, it probably won't rank very well.
- 1:39Instead, what we're looking to build is
- 1:41a website with a much more structured
- 1:43silo. I know this looks a little bit
- 1:44scary, but let me explain this a little
- 1:46bit and let me show you how we're going
- 1:47to build this nice and easy. So, for the
- 1:49same type of business, we're going to
- 1:50have a service hub or a parent page with
- 1:53all these services listed in it. And
- 1:55then each one of the services is going
- 1:56to have their own dedicated page. This
- 1:59allows you to actually rank for that
- 2:01service in that area as opposed to all
- 2:03your services being squished into one
- 2:05page and barely getting any SEO
- 2:07breathing room, if that makes sense. In
- 2:09addition, we want to create the same
- 2:10silo, but for the area served. So again,
- 2:13we're going to have a parent page for
- 2:15all the areas serviced and each area is
- 2:18going to get its own dedicated page.
- 2:19These are the hardest pages to get right
- 2:21because they need to differentiate in
- 2:22the content 50% from one page to the
- 2:25other. So you don't get done for content
- 2:26duplication or simply the page just
- 2:28won't get indexed because Google reads
- 2:30the location page to another location
- 2:32page and kind of says, "Eh, they're
- 2:34practically the same. I'm not going to
- 2:35waste my crawling budget on that." But
- 2:37we're going to get this right and that
- 2:39starts with research. So, part of the
- 2:42prompts that I'll give you for free.
- 2:43They'll be accessible in our free
- 2:44community below. The first one is the
- 2:46site architecture and silo prompt. It
- 2:49looks a little bit like this. And all it
- 2:50is is going to get you nice and uh
- 2:52organized. And it's going to do a little
- 2:53bit of research to fundamentally create
- 2:56the structure that Claude is going to
- 2:58follow for the rest of the website
- 3:00build. Now, there is a couple of things
- 3:01that you need to fill out from this
- 3:02prompt. the business type, the brand
- 3:04name, the locations that you're trying
- 3:07to rank in, all of the services that
- 3:09you've got to offer as well. That's
- 3:11really, really important for you to fill
- 3:13out. Obviously, to spare you with the
- 3:15boringness of me filling it out, I've
- 3:17got the prompt already filled out. And
- 3:19this is what we're going to give to
- 3:20Claude Code. Now, before we give this to
- 3:22Claude Code, we need to ensure we have a
- 3:24couple of things connected. And I've
- 3:25done many videos on this, but just
- 3:27quickly, you need to install data for
- 3:29SEO for Claude Code. Natively, Claude
- 3:32Code or Codeex or any AI tool doesn't
- 3:35natively have access to SEO data like
- 3:37keyword research, keyword similarity,
- 3:39the estimated monthly search volume of a
- 3:41search. That is the stuff that we really
- 3:43need to give Claude code to do this
- 3:46correctly. My preference is data for SEO
- 3:48because they are very affordable.
- 3:50They're a pay as you go program, meaning
- 3:53if you don't use it, you don't pay for
- 3:55it. And if you sign up with the link
- 3:56below, you're going to get a couple of
- 3:58free credits with data for SEO and those
- 4:00going to be more than enough for this
- 4:02entire website build. I've done a whole
- 4:04video tutorial on how to do this
- 4:05installation. I'll leave this link
- 4:07below. I have a folder in my desktop
- 4:10which I'm going to do all this work in
- 4:11from. It's called just the local
- 4:13plumbing website. I'm going to open this
- 4:16up with uh the terminal and clawed code.
- 4:19I prefer to use a thing called semox
- 4:23which is just a wrapper for clawed code.
- 4:25That's all that is. But if you prefer
- 4:27using visual code studio or just clawed
- 4:29code from the terminal or even the
- 4:30desktop application, this will work in
- 4:32the same way. With claude code activated
- 4:34within that project folder. I'm going to
- 4:36grab my completed prompt here. I'm going
- 4:38to paste that entire prompt that I've
- 4:40already prepopulated in here and I'm
- 4:41going to give it to Claude Code inside
- 4:43that project folder and give it a couple
- 4:45of minutes to do its thing. It might ask
- 4:46you a couple of questions. answer it to
- 4:48the best of your ability. But by the
- 4:49end, we need a CSV file that we can just
- 4:52use in Sheets or in Excel. After a
- 4:54couple of minutes, you should get a
- 4:55little bit of a report here telling you,
- 4:57okay, out of all your services pages,
- 4:59this would be the primary term, and this
- 5:00is the estimated monthly search volume.
- 5:03Now, take the search volume with a grain
- 5:05of salt because even if it's data for
- 5:07SEO or ahrefs or SEM Rush, all these SEO
- 5:11tools, they're not absolute sources of
- 5:12truth. So as long as there's some search
- 5:14volume, it'll be enough for you to
- 5:16concentrate on that page as it's an
- 5:18individual page. So we can see that most
- 5:20of the services have some uh search
- 5:23volume, which is great. And even the
- 5:24areas as well that we want to target,
- 5:26which is fantastic. Perfect. So now it's
- 5:29giving me the outputs here. Step three,
- 5:31step four. And if I look at the folder,
- 5:34it looks like it's got all the
- 5:35information, but it hasn't created that
- 5:37CSV file that I want. So let's ask it to
- 5:39do that. I'm going to say, great. can
- 5:41you please generate that CSV file? And
- 5:43that should be it. Okay. Now, if I look
- 5:45at the folder again and I look at the
- 5:48file, I've got here the page title, the
- 5:49target keyword, the search volume, and
- 5:52the slug. This is really what I'm
- 5:54looking for, right? So, I just want a
- 5:56structure that Claude Code is going to
- 5:58follow and not get creative on us when
- 6:01we're building the website. It's also a
- 6:02good way for you to keep yourself in
- 6:04trackable everything that you're working
- 6:06on. So, I'm pretty happy with this. If
- 6:08you want to add more pages, blog posts,
- 6:10or I don't know, calculators, or
- 6:12whatever you want, make sure you put it
- 6:14in this section of the build. If you've
- 6:16been using Claude Code for a little
- 6:18while and you have the Figma plug-in
- 6:20installed, you can check by going
- 6:22forward/mcp,
- 6:24you can see here that I've got the Figma
- 6:27plug-in installed and I can say, okay,
- 6:29uh, can you place that uh, structure
- 6:32into a Figma board so I can check it out
- 6:35as well, please? That way you can kind
- 6:36of visualize as well. I think for me
- 6:38anyway, that helps a lot to make sure
- 6:40that I'm not making some serious errors.
- 6:42And this is the time to get this right.
- 6:44So with my structure all laid out and
- 6:46with my Figma board even drawn out so I
- 6:48can either share it with my teammates or
- 6:50if you're building this for a client, it
- 6:51would be a great time to show this to
- 6:53the client before you move any further
- 6:55because they might be able to tell you,
- 6:57you know what, I actually have more
- 6:58service areas or more services that I
- 7:01want to offer. This kind of helps maybe
- 7:03bring those to mind as well. Let's move
- 7:05on to stage two. Part number two is
- 7:07about designing the website. Hi guys,
- 7:09just a quick one here. If you want to
- 7:11learn how to rank your website number
- 7:13one in the local map packs and
- 7:15organically like Will here, one of our
- 7:17community has already done. The AR
- 7:19ranking school community is for you
- 7:20where we'll teach you and we'll support
- 7:22you to do this so you can rank number
- 7:23one in the AI search engines. Link
- 7:26below. Back to it. More importantly,
- 7:28it's about keeping the same design
- 7:29aesthetic throughout the entire build.
- 7:32You don't have to use Claude design, but
- 7:34it is what I'm using at the moment. I'm
- 7:37seem to really like it and the handoff
- 7:38from Claude Design to Claude Code is
- 7:40very, very easy. Obviously, they're in
- 7:43the same ecosystem. However, if you
- 7:44don't like Claude Design because it does
- 7:47eat tokens like a fat kid loves cake.
- 7:49So, you got to be wary of that. You can
- 7:50use other tools. The other of my
- 7:52preference is Google Stitch. Google
- 7:54Stitch makes it very very easy as well
- 7:55to design a homepage and you can export
- 7:58this selection as a Figma file and even
- 8:01as a zip file which I recommend you do
- 8:03so once you like the design that you're
- 8:05ready with. It's very easy. You just
- 8:07talk to it like you would any other AI
- 8:09application till you find the design.
- 8:11One of the things that really starts
- 8:12differentiating your website build or
- 8:14our website builds with any other AI
- 8:16website builds is inspiration. Here are
- 8:18two websites that I use often to get
- 8:20inspiration so my websites don't look so
- 8:22AI generated. Although I'm sure I'm
- 8:24going to get braided in the comments,
- 8:25someone saying, "Your website still
- 8:27looks AI generated." Whatever. It ranks
- 8:28and it gets leads. That's the main
- 8:30thing. But if you need inspiration, go
- 8:32to dribble and have a look around. It's
- 8:33fantastic. You can literally just copy
- 8:35the image that they give you and give it
- 8:37to Claude Design or to Stitch to get
- 8:39some inspiration from. My favorite place
- 8:41though to get inspiration on certain
- 8:43components that really differentiate
- 8:45your website and I think give it that
- 8:47little genre or that little bit
- 8:49higherend look and feel is 21stdev.com.
- 8:53They have a lot of different components
- 8:55that you can have a look at here like
- 8:57maps, images, scroll areas, testimonial
- 9:00sections for example that you can kind
- 9:02of input into your website. The
- 9:04beautiful thing is once you click on an
- 9:06item, for example, if I want this type
- 9:08of button, they give you the code, but
- 9:10they also give you the prompt that you
- 9:12can copy exactly to claude code and say,
- 9:14"Hey, for all the buttons in the
- 9:16website, I want you to use this type of
- 9:18style and design. Just make sure that it
- 9:21has our brand colors." And then your
- 9:23website has these cool buttons or
- 9:24features that otherwise wouldn't be
- 9:27natively into a claude code build
- 9:30website. If you have no idea where to
- 9:32start with the design and you don't find
- 9:34that you kind of natively are a good
- 9:36designer, there's a prompt again in the
- 9:38free resources below that are available
- 9:39in our free community where you can give
- 9:41this prompt to any AI system really that
- 9:44will create an MD file with all of the
- 9:47brand guidelines, look and feel. You can
- 9:49do it as many times as you want until
- 9:51you're happy with the overall design.
- 9:53This is something that you want to give
- 9:54Claude code later or any other AI tool
- 9:57that you're using to build this website
- 9:58with. If you're using Claude design, you
- 10:01want to go to prototype and let's start
- 10:02a new project here. I'm going to go uh
- 10:05plumbing website YouTube tutorial. In
- 10:09design system, I'm going to make sure
- 10:10that I don't have one selected. So, it
- 10:12doesn't have a design system that I'm
- 10:14already using and I'm going to go to
- 10:15high fid high fidelity and create. There
- 10:19are two to three main pages that you
- 10:21want to create in this part. That is the
- 10:23homepage, the main services page, and
- 10:25the main area page. With those three
- 10:27components done, you can then hand this
- 10:29off to Claude Code. But here, for
- 10:31example, I want to describe in detail
- 10:33the type of business that we're building
- 10:35the website for. Now, I've created the
- 10:37fake company details here. I'm just
- 10:39going to copy this stuff here from Chat
- 10:42GBT. Again, this is a fake business. I'm
- 10:44going to go back to my claw design and
- 10:46say I
- 10:49to build a website for this business and
- 10:53paste a couple of things there and hit
- 10:55enter. What I like about Claude design
- 10:57is that it's going to ask questions
- 10:58about which way you want to go. Do you
- 11:00like this font or that font? This color
- 11:02or that color. It will take a little
- 11:04while for you to finish this, but I
- 11:05really like the way Claude Design is
- 11:08very much of an interactive element
- 11:09here. You'll see that it's going to
- 11:11start asking me questions. So, as we can
- 11:13see, Claude Design has a few questions
- 11:15about Buong City Plumbing site. So, what
- 11:18do you want help scope with? A single
- 11:19loading page, a multi-page site here.
- 11:22Uh, the visual direction. So upscale,
- 11:26you get the idea. You want to answer all
- 11:27these things. If you don't know what to
- 11:29answer, it has an option for you. Most
- 11:31of the times you're saying decide for
- 11:32me. So I'm going to say that. And here,
- 11:36which services should I feature? Uh t uh
- 11:39uh um
- 11:42perfect
- 11:45request to quote book online.
- 11:55Okay, once you press continue, it's
- 11:57going to take a couple of minutes to
- 11:58give you the first iteration and you
- 12:01should get a homepage right here which
- 12:03you can go and edit yourself. I don't
- 12:05mind this. There's a couple of things
- 12:06that you want to consider when you are
- 12:08designing a homepage, a service page,
- 12:10and a service area page. With a
- 12:12homepage, you want to use the two-cond
- 12:14rule, and that is when I land on the
- 12:16page, I should understand within 2
- 12:18seconds what it is that you've got to
- 12:20offer and what you want me to do. And
- 12:22I'm being quite literal there. So, here
- 12:24it says Houston Plumbers. Perfect.
- 12:26There's no mistake there. And you can
- 12:27call or book online. Fantastic. I knew
- 12:29exactly what I needed to do here. What I
- 12:32don't recommend you do is get all artsy
- 12:34and go like the number one plumber for
- 12:37all of your needs or just something too
- 12:40editorial. Get to the point right away,
- 12:42particularly when it comes to these
- 12:43localbased service businesses. If we
- 12:45scroll down here, we've got some value
- 12:48or some trust here. So, you want the
- 12:50licensing, the reviews. This is just
- 12:52going to add a lot of trust for the
- 12:53website, which is what you want to do as
- 12:55soon as you can. We've got all the
- 12:57services that they offer right there. a
- 12:59couple of how it works for them, the
- 13:02reviews you want to add in there as soon
- 13:04as you can, the map here of all the
- 13:06areas that you service, FAQ section at
- 13:08the bottom, and a few more other things
- 13:10as well. There are at least two pages
- 13:12that you want to build in this instance.
- 13:14So, I've built the main homepage here,
- 13:16and I've built the Katy Texas, which is
- 13:19a locationbased area page. Again, just
- 13:22so that uh we don't get very confused in
- 13:25terms of what we want to add in here. So
- 13:27once you are happy here with all the
- 13:29design, you see that I've even embedded
- 13:31a map of Katy there. I'm going to give
- 13:33you a uh checklist that you should
- 13:36consider when creating this localized
- 13:38pages here. That is really important for
- 13:39you to follow so you don't get these
- 13:42pages de-index here. We got FAQs and a
- 13:45nice little section here with [snorts]
- 13:47Claude Design. I've done a video about
- 13:49how it works and everything like that.
- 13:50But just nice and quickly, you can edit
- 13:52things very easily. If I go to the edit
- 13:54button and I want to change this here
- 13:56for example fast license yada yada yada
- 13:59and I can say you know what I don't like
- 14:01the mdash I'm just going to delete this
- 14:03whole thing I can do so here so it's a
- 14:05mixture of if you want to prompt it you
- 14:06can do that or if you want to do
- 14:08anything else that's fine as well we can
- 14:10change this all when we're doing it with
- 14:12clawed code but from a visual
- 14:13perspective it's really really nice to
- 14:16do this before you start kind of
- 14:18building the entire thing with claude
- 14:19code and Astro so if you are happy with
- 14:22the sign. What you can do is go to share
- 14:25here. You can go to send to and I can
- 14:28send to claude code and I can uh
- 14:31actually like to download the entire zip
- 14:34here. I'm going to download the zip and
- 14:36you want to place it that whole zip file
- 14:38in the folder which we have done the
- 14:41keyword research and the uh website
- 14:43structure design in already. I've just
- 14:45placed that zip file that Claude code
- 14:47gave me right in here. I can open it up
- 14:49if I want to, but Claude is going to be
- 14:51uh smart enough to do that. Phase three
- 14:53is about getting an image style guide. A
- 14:55lot of people don't do this and they
- 14:57just create random images with AI or
- 14:59they have really old images their client
- 15:01gives them that just don't look nice.
- 15:04But just by taking a couple of five
- 15:06minutes and generating a style guide for
- 15:08the images, and if you have a nice image
- 15:11generator, I'll show you the ones that I
- 15:12use, you're going to have the ability to
- 15:14create practically any image that you
- 15:15want, but it will look like it was taken
- 15:18by the same camera, the same lens, and
- 15:20it's just going to have a kind of
- 15:22formality to it that is going to look
- 15:24nice throughout the entire website, and
- 15:26it won't look random from page to page.
- 15:29So, you can see here that all these
- 15:30photos that I've done kind of look all
- 15:32the same. All the gentlemen have the
- 15:34kind of same looking uniforms and it
- 15:37just looks kind of good. The way to
- 15:39constantly get images that look cohesive
- 15:42like this is by having two main things.
- 15:44You want a style guide here. So this is
- 15:48the art director you can call it and
- 15:51then a reusable prompt template that you
- 15:54can place in but change the scene in
- 15:57here. So you see here in this I've got
- 15:59the style wrapper. So, create an image,
- 16:01authentic local service, photography,
- 16:03yada yada, the camera that it was shot
- 16:05in, the focal length, the lighting used,
- 16:07the color grading. It's got all those
- 16:08things. And this is something I'm going
- 16:10to reuse all the time, but I'm going to
- 16:12change the scene. Again, it's just going
- 16:14to allow for some cohesion because I
- 16:16want you to create highquality websites,
- 16:18not just AI generated slop, although it
- 16:20is generated with AI, but we're just
- 16:22using it in a much more smart manner.
- 16:24So, how do I get this prompt here that I
- 16:25can reuse all the time? Well, in the
- 16:27resources below, there's going to be a
- 16:29prompt called the image style guide
- 16:31prompt. Really easy to use. All you got
- 16:33to do is place it once here. I'm going
- 16:35to copy this entire thing. And you need
- 16:37to obviously fill out a couple of things
- 16:39from this prompt. Now, I've just got
- 16:40this prompt copied in a Google doc so
- 16:41you can see here, but you wanted to
- 16:43input the business type, the brand,
- 16:44personality, the color palette, and the
- 16:46mood as well. You can change the camera
- 16:49lens. If you want it to look a little
- 16:50bit less professional, you can put, hey,
- 16:52these are shot in an iPhone 13 or
- 16:55whatever you want, right? The idea here
- 16:57is to experiment a little bit. So I'm
- 16:59going to copy this whole thing and let's
- 17:02create a pallet, a style guide for this
- 17:04new website. So with that prompt, I just
- 17:06gave it to GPT. You can do this with any
- 17:08AI, but I want here this main style
- 17:12wrapper, right? And the style wrapper
- 17:14has the camera, the focal length, the
- 17:15composition, and everything else here.
- 17:17That is the one that I'm going to use
- 17:18all the time. But I'm just going to
- 17:20change the scene. So ideally this scene
- 17:22will make the image for all the
- 17:25different services, right? Let's give
- 17:26this a go and I can show you that I can
- 17:28do this in any image generator uh and it
- 17:30will work just fine. I've got it here to
- 17:32create a lot of different scenes and
- 17:34again um this is the one thing that I
- 17:35will change each time, but I'm going to
- 17:40use the same style guide. So I've asked
- 17:42it to create some scenes for outside of
- 17:44the house. I'm just going to copy this
- 17:46uh into the Google sheet. And remember,
- 17:49I've got the style guide here. So, I'm
- 17:51always going to use that one, but I'm
- 17:53going to change each one of these ones.
- 17:55So, let's say, for example, the sewer
- 17:58line repair. Let's test this one out.
- 18:00I'm going to use two image models so you
- 18:03can see the difference. I've got here
- 18:04Nano Banana 2 in Google AI Studio. You
- 18:07can also use Gemini. I just like
- 18:09creating batches of images in either
- 18:11Google AI Studio or you can also use
- 18:14OpenAI's image GPT2. If you haven't seen
- 18:17this platform, it's called the platform.
- 18:20OpenAI, the playground, and it just
- 18:22allows you to play around with models in
- 18:24a different way than you would in the
- 18:26normal chat interface. By all means, you
- 18:28can use this in the chat interface if
- 18:29you want, but I'm just going to go here,
- 18:31images, and I'm going to paste the scene
- 18:33here, and I'm going to then copy the
- 18:36actual composition and all the style
- 18:39guide here. I'm going to go back to
- 18:41images here, and I'm actually going to
- 18:42copy the entire prompt that I've just
- 18:44done. I'm going to select here a couple
- 18:46of components. So I just want a
- 18:48landscape images. The quality is going
- 18:50to be pi shore. And that is it. I'm
- 18:54going to hit enter. And I can do the
- 18:56same thing with Google AI studio. That's
- 18:58using Nano Banana 2 Pro. I've used the
- 19:01exact same prompt by the way. And I'm
- 19:03just going to go the output format
- 19:04should be images only. And let's run
- 19:06this right away. Generally, Nano Banana
- 19:09Pro 2 is way faster at generating
- 19:13images. If that's really important to
- 19:15you, then probably stick with Nano
- 19:16Banana. The idea here is that both
- 19:18models are more than good enough to do
- 19:20what it is that you're after. So, here,
- 19:21for example, I get the first one back.
- 19:24Pretty solid. Looks very real. Uh I'm
- 19:28sure if you're a plumber, you can tell
- 19:29one or two things that are wrong, but
- 19:30you know, for the most part, that's
- 19:31pretty good. While we're at it, let's
- 19:33just try it in normal chatbt as well.
- 19:34I'm going to make sure that I've got
- 19:36create image the auto. I want to set
- 19:38widescreen as well. I'm going to paste
- 19:40that exact same prompt here. I'm going
- 19:42to select this to thinking. That does
- 19:44make a little bit of a difference. You
- 19:46just give it the opportunity for GBT to
- 19:48think more about your request before
- 19:50creating the image, which if it's a
- 19:52rather big prompt like here, then give
- 19:54it that chance to. It will take a little
- 19:56while though. Okay. And this is the
- 19:59OpenAI image. Again, looks fairly
- 20:03spot-on. It doesn't actually look so
- 20:05pristine. So, I like it a little bit
- 20:07more. I'm kind of leaning towards GPD
- 20:09image for this. Looks pretty good.
- 20:11Again, here's the difference. That's
- 20:13Nano Banana Pro GPT images. I think GPT
- 20:17images just makes it look a lot more
- 20:19real. And that is from the chat as well,
- 20:22which I kind of like. Just looks fairly
- 20:24good to be honest. So, if you're happy
- 20:26with your style guide for the images,
- 20:28make sure you save this somewhere.
- 20:30That's going to be part of the brand
- 20:31guidelines that you want to place into
- 20:32the photo or keep it somewhere where
- 20:34you're not going to lose it because
- 20:36ideally we want an image for each one of
- 20:38these services that's going to
- 20:40illustrate the service provided. It's
- 20:41just going to differentiate the pages
- 20:43and it's going to allow you to do a
- 20:45little bit of image SEO for the images
- 20:47which is just another aspect that not
- 20:49many people do. But because I want you
- 20:50to create a very good website, I want to
- 20:52make sure you do that as well. Step
- 20:54number four is about more research. Hi
- 20:56guys, just a quick one. Ranking in the
- 20:58AI search engines like Google AI
- 21:00overviews doesn't have to be
- 21:02complicated. Inside the AI ranking
- 21:03school community, I learned how to do
- 21:05that for multiple of his clients which
- 21:07are now ranking for the right service
- 21:08keywords in the right locations inside
- 21:10Google AI overviews. And if you want to
- 21:12learn how to rank in this new age of AI
- 21:14search engines like Google AI overviews
- 21:16or GBT search, the AI ranking school
- 21:19community is for you. Link below. Back
- 21:21to it. One of the components that I
- 21:23discussed in the beginning of the video
- 21:26was this silo here. the service areas
- 21:28hub and it can work really well if done
- 21:31correctly. This essentially is
- 21:33programmatic SEO to a sense but we want
- 21:35to take it a step further where each one
- 21:37of these pages this content is going to
- 21:39be very specific to that area. This does
- 21:41a couple of things. It's going to
- 21:42improve the SEO but it's going to make
- 21:44sure that it's indexed and it's going to
- 21:46differentiate each area to area because
- 21:49we've done the detailed research. So how
- 21:51do I even go about thinking of well how
- 21:54do I do research for each one of the
- 21:55sections? Well, for that, I've got
- 21:57another prompt for you. The prompt again
- 21:59is located in the free resource res
- 22:01resources below in our free community.
- 22:02And the prompt kind of tells you how to
- 22:05use it here. It says you're a local
- 22:07market researcher for a business type.
- 22:09Again, you need to fill in all the
- 22:11places in here. And it's researching
- 22:13certain sections, but it'll change
- 22:16dramatically depending on the type of
- 22:18business. So, if you're a lawyer, if
- 22:20you're a financial adviser, if you are
- 22:21whatever website you're building for,
- 22:24this will change quite a bit. So, I've
- 22:26already filled out this prompt, for
- 22:28example, and it looks like this here.
- 22:30So, you're a local, let me zoom in a
- 22:32little bit. You're a local researcher
- 22:34for a plumbing company. Research the
- 22:36specific for one service uh area so that
- 22:38the websites page can speak with genuine
- 22:41local authority. That's the main thing
- 22:42that we're after here. Use real
- 22:44verifiable details. If you're unsure of
- 22:47a fact, say so rather than inventing it.
- 22:49I've done the inputs here.
- 22:52Perfect. And here's the main thing.
- 22:54content angles, five specific area, true
- 22:56to talking points that the page should
- 22:59make that would not apply identically,
- 23:01yada yada that we want to create 40 to
- 23:0350% differentiation. That's the main
- 23:05thing here. This is what's really going
- 23:06to help. So, I'm going to copy this
- 23:08whole thing. And depending on what AI
- 23:11you have, you might have to do this with
- 23:13different things. So, for example, if
- 23:15you don't have the $200 subscription
- 23:17with clawed code, doing this for every
- 23:20single one of the areas is going to eat
- 23:21up all the tokens very, very quickly.
- 23:23You can do this with deep research as
- 23:25well. So if you've got chat GBT, you can
- 23:29do this deep research feature here.
- 23:31Paste the prompt in there, but only
- 23:33change the area. So hey, do this for
- 23:36this specific area. And because we've
- 23:38done the research here, we're going to
- 23:39do this for Katy Cyprus, for example,
- 23:42and we got to do the locations here. So
- 23:44if I want to do it for Katie in Texas,
- 23:46I'm going to copy this here. I'm going
- 23:48to go back to chatbt and I'm going to
- 23:50say do this for Katy Texas and I'm going
- 23:54to hit enter. If you don't have chatbt
- 23:57or the ability to do deep research, you
- 23:59can also do this with Gemini. I'm going
- 24:01to do this with deep research now in
- 24:03Claude Code. So, if you didn't know, you
- 24:06can do all of this with Claude Code now.
- 24:08So, in that same folder structure that
- 24:10I'm building the website on, I'm just
- 24:11going to start a brand new conversation
- 24:14here, uh, brand new tab here, and I'm
- 24:17going to start doing the research. I'm
- 24:19going to paste the prompt that I've got
- 24:21for the research here. And I'm going to
- 24:23say use the slashde
- 24:26research feature. And you can see it's
- 24:28enabled because if I written it
- 24:30correctly, it'll show me this thing in a
- 24:32different color, which is great. Let's
- 24:33start with Katy, Texas. Then we will
- 24:36move to all the other locations once I
- 24:38approve the first one. And I'm going to
- 24:39hit enter and see what it comes back
- 24:41with. I want to verify the research with
- 24:43one location before I go tell it to do
- 24:45the other 20 locations so I don't waste
- 24:47all the tokens. After a couple of
- 24:49minutes, I've got some research for
- 24:51Katie Texas. So the bottom line, Katie's
- 24:53plumbing demand is driven by two
- 24:54verified area specific things. Expansive
- 24:57Gold Coast line claw. So black gumbo
- 25:00clay. This is what's going to make the
- 25:03page so much different than anything
- 25:04else. That's what we want. See, it says
- 25:06that swells up and shrinks seasonally,
- 25:08stressing the slabs. So, yeah, perfect.
- 25:11And then another one here that is most
- 25:13of Kitty's housing is newer, but older
- 25:15ones pocket uh carry polyutane
- 25:19risk. This is the type of information we
- 25:21want because we're getting into the
- 25:22specific about this area and that's
- 25:24what's going to make the page very, very
- 25:26different. Here, I've got a little bit
- 25:27of housing stock as well. Uh local
- 25:30conditions that are really about this
- 25:32area, common problems. Amazing. So if
- 25:34you are happy with that I can do a easy
- 25:37prompt like great turn that into an MD
- 25:39file and do the same research for all of
- 25:41the other locations that we need to
- 25:43build the website on. You can refer to
- 25:44the CSV file for the locations. Perfect.
- 25:47And now we can see that it found the
- 25:49service areas in the CSV and it's
- 25:51starting to do the rest. Goes without
- 25:52saying that's going to take a little
- 25:54while but that is okay. This is what's
- 25:56really going to differentiate our
- 25:58website with anyone else's. We've done
- 26:00their high quality research. Remember
- 26:02again, you can also do this with deep
- 26:04research from Chat GBT or Gemini. They
- 26:06do fairly do a good job. You will have
- 26:08to do it manually for each one of the
- 26:10locations. Download the MD file, which
- 26:13Chat GBT gives you the ability to
- 26:15download that and then put it in that
- 26:16folder with the name of the location. It
- 26:19will take a little bit longer, but still
- 26:20just as good. Part number five comes the
- 26:23build, but I don't really want to
- 26:24concentrate on the actual build too
- 26:26much. That's the easy part. I want you
- 26:28to really concentrate on the content
- 26:30rules which we need to apply to each one
- 26:32of these pages. You see here that within
- 26:34the folder that I'm working on with the
- 26:36website, I've got a location research.
- 26:38This was all the research done from
- 26:40Claude. It took a little while. And let
- 26:42me show you what one of these would look
- 26:44like. This is the research for Atas
- 26:46Scosia. You get the bottom line, the
- 26:48housing stock, the systems and
- 26:50materials, legal conditions and all
- 26:52these common problems that are found in
- 26:55this certain area about plumbing which
- 26:57is really going to differentiate here
- 26:58the content and we've got the key
- 27:00sources. So if you want to you can go
- 27:02and make sure that it didn't kind of
- 27:04make this stuff up. Now I've done very
- 27:06detailed videos on the nitty-gritty of
- 27:09building a website the way we're going
- 27:10to build it. I'm going to use Astro,
- 27:12which is a web framework for just
- 27:14contentdriven websites, simple SEO
- 27:17websites, and we're going to host this
- 27:19whole thing on Cloudflare. I like
- 27:21Cloudflare. It works very well with
- 27:23Astro. They in fact bought Astro, so the
- 27:25integration is quite nice. So, that's
- 27:27what we're going to do right now. The
- 27:29build's going to be very easy. I'm just
- 27:31going to copy this and I'm going to go
- 27:33back to prompt my website builder here.
- 27:35And I'm going to say something along the
- 27:37lines of I want you to build now the
- 27:39homepage and one of the first location
- 27:42pages and all the services pages so that
- 27:44I can take a look at. Make sure you
- 27:45build it with Astro that is the npm you
- 27:48need to install to have the
- 27:50requirements. Make sure that you use the
- 27:51design elements within this folder that
- 27:53I've provided from claw design. I like
- 27:56to place in this in ultrathink when I
- 28:00start think
- 28:02when I start the build. Sorry. So,
- 28:04ultrathink.
- 28:07And also, I'm going to put it on plan
- 28:09mode. You can see here if I press shift
- 28:11tab, it'll cycle through all the modes.
- 28:14I'm going to go to plan mode as well.
- 28:16This allows it to really think about
- 28:18what I've asked it to do and plan with a
- 28:20lot of thinking capacity about the build
- 28:23before it starts getting to the actual
- 28:24build. And whilst yes, this uses a fair
- 28:27bit of tokens when we're starting off, I
- 28:29find that it ends up being a lot more
- 28:31efficient because it really thought
- 28:32about the entire build first. Okay, it
- 28:35build for about 21 minutes. I didn't ask
- 28:37it to generate all the pages because I
- 28:39just want to check how the build is
- 28:41going right now. Now, by default, when
- 28:44you build with Astro, the site is going
- 28:47to be built locally in your system, and
- 28:49you can find it in your browser if it's
- 28:51uh launched in local 4321, for example.
- 28:55Let me show you what I mean. So, I'm
- 28:56just going to say uh can you launch the
- 28:59site locally first? I can take a look.
- 29:04Okay, perfect. So, it is live on
- 29:07localhost 4321. Let's take a look here.
- 29:10and it's created the service area, the
- 29:13services and the slab leak repair. Let's
- 29:16take a look. But I'm on Chrome browser.
- 29:18Now I've got local host 4321. And there
- 29:20we see the website right away. So it's
- 29:23not looking too bad. Slight animations
- 29:25here. Little dispatch live. Okay. Okay.
- 29:29Not too bad.
- 29:32Call centers. Nice. The reviews, the
- 29:36hours here, uh FAQs. Okay. Not too bad.
- 29:40I could add a couple of more components
- 29:41here, but that is okay. I want to have a
- 29:43look at the services. Fantastic. Okay,
- 29:46nice. I've got all the services here.
- 29:50Great. So, this is our service hub page.
- 29:52Remember, we made this in the Figma just
- 29:55to kind of plan [snorts] it out first.
- 29:57And this is the slab leak repair in
- 30:00Houston, Texas. Nice, you know, call to
- 30:02action book online. Signs of slab leak.
- 30:06Okay, perfect. So obviously I want a
- 30:09image here. So I can add an image to
- 30:12that. So again remember I've got the
- 30:14style guide here that I'm just going to
- 30:16copy. And I've got the scene already
- 30:19written here in my image generator of
- 30:22choice which we came to the
- 30:24understanding that we preferred GBT
- 30:25image 2. Again I'm going to do the
- 30:27landscape image here. And I can even get
- 30:30it to generate two. So I can see two
- 30:32variations and then pick the one I like.
- 30:34So let's do that. And here is the two
- 30:35images here. this one or that one. I
- 30:38think this one looks a little bit more
- 30:42spoton. Perfect. Let's download that bad
- 30:45boy. Fantastic. And I can do that right
- 30:48here. And let's add it into that page.
- 30:51With the image downloaded, I can go back
- 30:52to the conversation that I'm having. And
- 30:54if you're using Claude Code, you can
- 30:57just simply drag that image in there and
- 30:58say, "Can you please add this feature
- 31:00image into the slab leak repair page so
- 31:03we can take a look? Please uh make sure
- 31:05that it's you convert it to a webp
- 31:07image. Something really important that
- 31:09you need to keep in mind, you want a
- 31:10very light and quick website. Any of
- 31:13these AI image generators by default
- 31:14they tend to give you images by a PNG
- 31:18the higher quality, but you don't need
- 31:20that and you don't want that as well. So
- 31:22you want to make sure that the image is
- 31:23a webp when you upload them. And
- 31:26actually, if you're doing these images
- 31:27in the platform from the playground on
- 31:29OpenAI, you can select here the advanced
- 31:32settings and the output format to be
- 31:35actually webpile. That way, you don't
- 31:36even have to convert them, which is a
- 31:38nice little addition as well. And now,
- 31:40right away, I can see it here. Slab link
- 31:42repair in Houston. This is going to make
- 31:43the pages look a lot more different from
- 31:45each other. But also, we can add some
- 31:47image SEO components in here. That is
- 31:49also going to help us. Here we got some
- 31:52signs of slab break. This is
- 31:54againformational content which is really
- 31:56good but also content that's going to
- 31:58differentiate this service page from
- 32:00another service page which again is very
- 32:01very important for us to do. Fantastic
- 32:04here. Okay,
- 32:07good. This looks pretty good. As always,
- 32:09you do want to check the mobile version
- 32:11of the website. I've got a nice little
- 32:13plugin here. It's called the mobile
- 32:15simulator. when I click it right away, I
- 32:18can see here that the mobile version
- 32:20looks okay, but I've got the image in
- 32:22the background here after. So, I want to
- 32:25maybe try and fix that right away. So,
- 32:26I'm just going to ask it to do that with
- 32:29fix the image of the the design of the
- 32:32mobile. Sorry. And I want to get one
- 32:33page right and then just replicate it
- 32:35across everything else. I tend to like
- 32:38designing this on kind of my Chrome
- 32:40browser as opposed to Claude design or
- 32:42the other stuff. I can just see it right
- 32:44away what it's going to look like in the
- 32:47browser, which I think is a lot better
- 32:49than kind of winging the whole thing on
- 32:51Claude Design. Okay, let's take a look
- 32:53here. I'm just going to refresh this and
- 32:56again uh have a look at the mobile. Much
- 32:59better, right? I can see right away what
- 33:00he's working on. Slab leak repair in
- 33:02Houston. I've got a call to action.
- 33:04That's what I want. That's what's going
- 33:05to get me the conversions. So, I'm
- 33:07pretty happy with the service page
- 33:09template. Let's go to the area service
- 33:11page template. I want to go to Katie
- 33:13because I know that's the one that we've
- 33:14kind of got here. Okay. And the these
- 33:17are all the services here. So what's
- 33:19going to happen from a backlinking
- 33:21perspective? Whilst we've got all these
- 33:23area pages, right? There's about 20 of
- 33:25them, we can have then dedicated area
- 33:28and service page. So for example, if I
- 33:30clicked on something like the slab leak
- 33:33repair from Katie, it would take me just
- 33:35to the main services page for slab leak
- 33:38repair. You can get very specific, but
- 33:41it really depends on how competitive the
- 33:43niche is. Let's fix this page though for
- 33:46Katie and let me show you what I'm
- 33:47talking about. And if I look at this
- 33:49page here, we probably need to change
- 33:50the image, but that's okay. So, plumber
- 33:52in Katie, Texas. That's going to be good
- 33:53from an SEO perspective. That should be
- 33:55the H1. We'll check that in a second.
- 33:58This is probably the most important
- 34:00section. So, local conditions. Again,
- 34:02this is going to be what differentiates
- 34:04our page and it's going to make it
- 34:05probably rank a lot higher and
- 34:07definitely differentiate itself between
- 34:08the other location pages. Recent jobs if
- 34:11you've got them, what the neighbors say
- 34:14here. Again, I've got a checklist for
- 34:15you to follow for this. Don't worry. The
- 34:18embedded map of Katie here, which I
- 34:20really like. It adds another kind of a
- 34:22differentiator from this location page
- 34:24to the other. Questions from Katie home
- 34:28owners. Very specific to this area
- 34:30again. Cool. Okay. looking really,
- 34:32really good here. Okay, so I want to
- 34:34work on the service area, one of the
- 34:36pages, specifically Katie. I know
- 34:39there's just a little bit more content
- 34:41from that research that we did and we um
- 34:43you know, we spent Claude spent a lot of
- 34:45time doing that. I just want to see here
- 34:48why the Katy truth. Perfect. Okay, so
- 34:50this is exactly what I was having a look
- 34:53at here. So the Katie ground truth here,
- 34:58black gumbo. So Katie sits on an
- 35:00expansive go coast primarily K. Perfect.
- 35:04This is what I wanted here. Hard freeze
- 35:06winter. So we say for example in
- 35:09February 2020 Houston fell to 13
- 35:11Fahrenheit bursting exposed house bibs
- 35:14attic pipes. Fantastic. We're showing
- 35:16that we demonstrate that we're not only
- 35:18an expert in the field but an expert in
- 35:19this specific location. This is what's
- 35:22really going to help here. The one thing
- 35:24that you do want to do is make sure that
- 35:25instead of these kind of links, I want
- 35:28to link to the contextual keyword as
- 35:30opposed to this little one here. I don't
- 35:32like this and having the sources. You
- 35:33don't want to take away from the fact
- 35:35this is still a transactional page,
- 35:37right? And this kind of takes away from
- 35:38that. So, let's just say that with the
- 35:40sources, this looks good, but can you
- 35:42link to the contextual keyword, not just
- 35:43have a sources at the end, please? And
- 35:45it's already kind of saying, hey, cool.
- 35:47Do you want me to convert this to a city
- 35:49template? So, it's going to fill in all
- 35:50the information, but the design's going
- 35:52to stay the same. That's what we want,
- 35:53right? We don't have to change the
- 35:54design so much from page to page, but
- 35:56the content is really important that we
- 35:57do that. Okay, now it seems to have
- 35:59finished. And yeah, much better. And
- 36:01it's it should be linking to the
- 36:03contextual keyword. It is there during
- 36:05the winter. Perfect. We can see that
- 36:07it's not going to disrupt from the, you
- 36:10know, us getting that conversion, but it
- 36:11is providing that quality content there.
- 36:14Fantastic. I'm really starting to like
- 36:16this. We've got that embedded stuff
- 36:18here. And again, I just want to show you
- 36:20the internal linking component. Right.
- 36:22So, we've got all the services provided
- 36:23here and the URL structure is
- 36:25services/kat.
- 36:27These are all the services, plumbing
- 36:28services in Katy. But if I click on slab
- 36:31repair, it's just going to go to the
- 36:32main slab repair page. That's more than
- 36:35enough. Again, depending on the
- 36:37competition that you're in, if it's
- 36:39extremely competitive, then you're
- 36:40probably going to have to create a page
- 36:42that instead links to the general slab
- 36:44leak repair page. It'll link to services
- 36:47Katie and then slab repair services in
- 36:51Katie. if that makes sense. That
- 36:52requires even more research. But for
- 36:53now, this structure should be okay for
- 36:5580% of use cases out there. Okay. And
- 36:58when you're doing one of these localized
- 37:00pages, even the services pages, here's a
- 37:02list that you should probably follow.
- 37:03Again, this will be linked in the video
- 37:05description below in the free community.
- 37:07Here's all the things that you want to
- 37:09try and follow. You probably won't be
- 37:11able to follow all of these depending on
- 37:13the industry that you're in. That's why
- 37:14it's difficult to create this into a
- 37:16skill or whatever. But you see here that
- 37:18I've got a couple of rules above the
- 37:19fold. for the H1 reads the trade or the
- 37:21service in the city. Primary call to
- 37:23action is above the fold. A bunch of
- 37:25things here, local proof, review
- 37:27testimonials, genuine local content,
- 37:29which is all the research we made in the
- 37:31beginning, the services offered here,
- 37:33the map that is embedded, and a bunch of
- 37:36other things that you should probably
- 37:37follow. Again, you really need to have
- 37:39it done in one page and then you can
- 37:41tell Claude Code, great, this is a
- 37:43template. Do it for the rest of the
- 37:44pages as we have done it. Again, I'll
- 37:47leave this link below. And I just want
- 37:49to do a quick test here of all the SEO
- 37:51components. I've got a free extension
- 37:53called SEO Wallet. You can download it
- 37:55again. And I want to check it just
- 37:56clearly here. So, the title tag is
- 37:58plumber and Katie. Fantastic. That's
- 38:00what I want. The meta description is
- 38:02really good. It's given me a call to
- 38:03action at the end. Call this number.
- 38:05That's okay. And I've got the headings
- 38:07here. Plumber and Katie. Plumber
- 38:09services in Katy homes. Drain cleaning.
- 38:11So, I've got all of the right keywords
- 38:13there, which makes sense. More
- 38:15importantly, I've got the right schema.
- 38:16I've got the plumber schema, which is
- 38:19what I want. And again, Claude Code
- 38:21should do this, particularly if you gave
- 38:23it the instructions that I provided
- 38:24earlier when it's building this thing.
- 38:26So, I've got the exact service plumber,
- 38:28and I've got the FAQ page. That's pretty
- 38:31good schema. I'm pretty happy with that.
- 38:33Now, you would go and build all of the
- 38:35other pages locally before you push it
- 38:37to Cloudflare. But I'm going to push to
- 38:39Cloudflare what we've got now because I
- 38:41want to show you a couple of things that
- 38:42you need to keep in mind here. So, I'm
- 38:43just going to tell it, hey, can you push
- 38:45this to a staging site in Cloudflare
- 38:47using Orangler? Of course, you need
- 38:49Cloudflare already authenticated within
- 38:51your Clawed Code. Again, the video that
- 38:53I've got listed below will show you how
- 38:55to do all of that, but I want to show
- 38:57you a couple of things here. Okay,
- 38:58great. And now I should have the staging
- 39:00site here. This is the first time that
- 39:01I'm going to click on it. So, let's have
- 39:04a look here. And there you go. There's
- 39:06our staging site already. You can see
- 39:08that it is not on my local browser and
- 39:11it seems to be doing okay. The reason
- 39:13why I want to put it in a staging site
- 39:14first is you want to check a couple of
- 39:16things. First and foremost, the loading
- 39:18time speed. This is really, really
- 39:20important, but something that people
- 39:22still don't do correctly. Uh, what you
- 39:24want to do is go to something like
- 39:26GTMetrics for example, and I like to use
- 39:29two types of speed tools here. I like
- 39:32two data sets. Sometimes they give you
- 39:34completely different data, and you want
- 39:35to make sure that you're doing this
- 39:36correctly as well. And right away
- 39:38because we built this on Astro, but also
- 39:40because we asked it to create generate
- 39:41all the images in WEBP files, we're
- 39:43loading at an A really, really quick.
- 39:45You want to make sure that this fully
- 39:47loaded time is at least slower than 2
- 39:49and 1/2 seconds. And you can see this is
- 39:51not even a second, which is great. It's
- 39:53a really important SEO factor, but also
- 39:55a conversion factor that a lot of people
- 39:57forget. And again, because we're doing
- 39:59this with clawed code, I just wanted to
- 40:00show you something really quickly that I
- 40:02mentioned before. I've got the image
- 40:04here, and I've got the page for the slab
- 40:06leak repair here. If I check on the
- 40:08image SEO, I've got the old tag here. A
- 40:11city plumber repairing a slab leak
- 40:12through an access point cut in a Houston
- 40:15home floor. It's really sneaky because
- 40:18it's adding those keywords, but in a
- 40:19natural manner, helping our image SEO,
- 40:22which is just another component that's
- 40:23going to help you. I'm not saying that's
- 40:24going to be the one thing that's going
- 40:25to generate you a lot of leads, but you
- 40:27want to make sure that you're always
- 40:28kind of improving on these 1%
- 40:30improvements. That is one of them right
- 40:32away. Let's go back here to the
- 40:34homepage. And I'm pretty happy with
- 40:36that. If you build the whole page and
- 40:38you're really happy with this, the next
- 40:39thing to do is to launch it. And you got
- 40:42to make sure you have your Google
- 40:43Analytics installed as well as your
- 40:45Google Search Console. I've done Google
- 40:46Search Console before. Let's do Google
- 40:48Analytics really, really quickly. Hi
- 40:50guys, just a quick one. Inside the AR
- 40:51ranking school community, Steven learned
- 40:53how to index more than 800 local
- 40:55services pages, which resulted in more
- 40:58than 105 online booked appointments in
- 41:01one single month from organic traffic
- 41:03alone. If you want to invest in your
- 41:05skills to improve your SEO for yourself
- 41:07or for your clients, the AR ranking
- 41:09school community is where you need to
- 41:11be. Link below. Now, back to it. So, in
- 41:14a Google Analytics account, you want to
- 41:16go to down to admin. And you want to
- 41:18create I'm going to create a whole
- 41:20account here as opposed to property. And
- 41:22I'm just going to name this test. And
- 41:26I'm going to go to next. Property name
- 41:28required again. Testing plumbing
- 41:32industry required. services. Let's see
- 41:34if we've got plumbing in here. I'm just
- 41:37going to go other business activities.
- 41:39Um, I'm going to want to generate leads
- 41:42and it's going to give you yes, I
- 41:44accept. You want to choose the platform.
- 41:46Obviously, this is a website and we're
- 41:48going to name the site here. Put the
- 41:50name of the website and go to create and
- 41:52continue. Perfect. Now, we want to go to
- 41:54add stream here and it's going to say
- 41:57set up a Google tag. It's going to give
- 41:58you a lot of ways to do this.
- 42:00Thankfully, because we're doing this
- 42:02with Claude code, there's not much that
- 42:04we actually have to do, which is copy
- 42:06this tag that it's provided. You're
- 42:07going to go back to the conversation
- 42:09you're having with Claude and say,
- 42:10"Great. Uh, can you install this tag?"
- 42:14I'm going to paste it and say, make sure
- 42:16that you are, uh, tracking all the
- 42:19clicks and the form submissions. That
- 42:20way, the tracking is really already done
- 42:23very well in Google Analytics and you
- 42:24are getting correct data from the get-
- 42:26go. Now, Floyd said that it finished
- 42:28adding the Google Analytics tag. You
- 42:30always want to double check,
- 42:32particularly these are really important
- 42:33things. You want to be tracking this
- 42:34correctly. There's a uh Chrome extension
- 42:36called the tag assistant. I've clicked
- 42:38that and it just checks that I've got
- 42:39the right one. And in fact, I've got the
- 42:41Bay City Plumbing tag, which is the one
- 42:43that we just generated. Perfect. We seem
- 42:46to be tracking everything correctly. So,
- 42:48again, now I have a website that is
- 42:49really optimized from an SEO
- 42:51perspective. Not only because it's
- 42:52loading very very quickly, but if I look
- 42:54at all of the schema components here as
- 42:56well, the structured data, I've got the
- 42:58plumber business, I've got the FAQ, and
- 43:00if I go to the services like the slab
- 43:03leak repair page, I can see here, let me
- 43:05double check, I've got all the
- 43:06structured data, the plumber data, the
- 43:09services data, and the schema. Again,
- 43:11not going to be something that's going
- 43:12to rank you just because you've got
- 43:14this, but it's really important that you
- 43:16do have it to facilitate you being found
- 43:18in the AI search engines and traditional
- 43:20SEO as well. I should mention, it goes
- 43:22without saying that I don't have the
- 43:23correct domain name here. I didn't want
- 43:25to purchase one just for this tutorial,
- 43:27so I'll just leave it as the staging
- 43:29site there, but I just wanted to show
- 43:30you the whole workflow of how to do a
- 43:33really highly optimized local business
- 43:36website. There's a couple more things
- 43:37you want to keep in mind. You want to
- 43:39make sure that you are connecting the
- 43:40Google My Business to this. And with the
- 43:42Google My Business, all these services
- 43:44that you've got listed in Google
- 43:46Business should be the same services
- 43:47that you've got listed on the website.
- 43:49You want those to have the same
- 43:51information as well. I've done plenty
- 43:52more tutorials on how to automate and
- 43:54how to optimize Google Business stuff.
- 43:56You can check those out, but I think
- 43:57I'll leave it there for now. I'm pretty
- 43:58happy with this one. I hope you enjoyed
- 44:00the video. I'll catch you in the next
- 44:01one. case.
