0:31run coming up on Dance Moms we are going
0:35to Ohio to her territory he has seen the
0:38ever famous ABY Lee Dance Company we are
0:41ready to create a winning number Jill
0:43called me yesterday she said that she's
0:45been driving so far here's my violin I'm
0:47so sad for Jill with the choreography
0:50that Paige has Kendall is going to beat
0:52her step up her choreography so she has
0:54a chance to beat Kendall come on we'll
0:57just do it really quick I changed the
0:59choreography because I just don't think

1:36need to challenge yourself so if your

1:43the bar fight for that that's how you
1:45get better you have to want to win more
1:48than I wanted for you now I want to talk
1:51about this week we will be traveling to
1:57Ohio oh yippy skippy we're going to Ohio
2:01this week I can't wait to see my bestie
2:03Kathy we might see
2:06Kendall and we might see Vivan oh my all
2:10I know is that the ab dance company will
2:13be so hot that they will become apple
2:16pie and your group is going to be like
2:19the alamode the name of the group dance
2:23is land Unforgiven it's about territory
2:27we are going to Cathy's territory we're
2:30going to stick a steak right into that
2:32beef
2:33jerky everybody standing before me is in
2:35the group
2:36dance however I'm going to bring a few
2:39Ringers in just like the Wicked Witch of
2:44the West this is the first time that
2:46we're going to see Kathy and those
2:48stinking little rotten apples since they
2:51beat us in New Jersey if we have a
2:53chance to even get to Nationals we need
2:55to beat her and beat her big time she
2:58always uses odor dancers in her routines
3:01let's fight fire with fire I'm going to
3:03put a few of my older girls in this
3:05week's routine
3:07so let's start at the bottom of the
3:09pyramid Brooke you're still on probation
3:13obviously Brooke was at the bottom of
3:15the pyramid I mean she wasn't even there
3:18this weekend is my first formal school
3:21dance and I was wondering if I would be
3:24able to go to it she was in her eighth
3:26grade farewell dinner dance byebye hi
3:31next we have McKenzie how'd you get down
3:35there what
3:35[Music]
3:38happened how many times did I tell you
3:40to spit your gum out maybe 10 so that's
3:43nine times too many
3:46next Mia I think you're there because
3:48you had a hard time with those turns and
3:50it was your legs that needed straight so
3:53all that technique you worked on what
3:57happened next we have paig you see that
4:00probation sticker hopefully that's going
4:02to come off of there next we
4:05have Chloe group dance is where you made
4:09the

4:16mistake solo was good the first person
4:19on top of the pyramid is Maddie and
4:23second person on top of the
4:24pyramid it's also
4:28Maddy I guess Maddie's picture is kind
4:31of like a gremlin you just add water and
4:32they multiply now I want to congratulate
4:35Maddie two crowns two titles in less
4:39than two hours there she
4:42is two titles in one day that's pretty
4:45darn good Maddie may be on top of the
4:48pyramid twice but that doesn't mean
4:50she's going to get a solo I want her to
4:52be well rested and I want her to be a
4:54champion Paige you're 11 you're going to
4:58be our title entrance 9 to 11 Paige will
5:03be competing directly against Kendall
5:05for the title I need Paige to show Jill
5:08and Kendall that leaving the ABY Le
5:10dance company was the biggest mistake of
5:12their lives you will be doing tongue
5:14twister it's your responsibility to know
5:16it she will not have a rehearsal she's
5:19welcome to use the studio but she has to
5:21get in here on her own P solo is one she
5:24knows well in fact she's entered it then
5:27pulled it twice she should know this

5:40now I think Paige is going to be a
5:42nervous wreck but I know if she does the
5:46routine that I gave her she will hold

5:51solo it's entitled Angry Bird the whole
5:55bird solo thing isn't really new for
5:58Chloe or she's been a swan one a raven
6:01this week she's an Angry Bird so I don't
6:03know what's next maybe a peacock all
6:06right so ladies you are dismissed thank
6:08you girls spread apart real quick let's

6:17go I thought it was weird that that
6:20Maddie was on there twice only because
6:22nobody else was given the opportunity to
6:25do two dances like next week there will
6:26be three Maddies and she'll be the whole
6:28top of the pyramid moms were giving me
6:30crap because Maddy's on the top of the
6:32pyramid twice because she won two crowns
6:33in one day their kids won two crowns in
6:36one day I'm sure Abby would put their
6:37kid up there twice too she was really
6:39happy when Abby said she didn't have a
6:40solo this week she was like she was very
6:44pleased girls listen to me we're going
6:47to our next door neighbor and we're
6:49taking their territory she always throws
6:51those Ringers in there I'm going to pull
6:53three Ringers in too I would like to
6:55introduce
6:56Catherine from the elite company and
6:59this is Ariel from the Teen
7:03company and this is nah who you all know
7:06from the senior

7:09company I want to make sure that we beat
7:11Kathy I just want to even out the
7:13playing field if Kathy wants to play all
7:15these games who am I to argue I have to
7:18say you know I'm a little offended that
7:21she needs to bring in ringers she is
7:23always the first to criticize Kathy for
7:25putting those older girls and younger
7:26girls in the group but she can't wait to
7:29do it not above it obviously I think
7:31it's incredibly hypocritical for Abby to
7:34always talk about Kathy putting older
7:36girls in the group and then this week
7:38she's going to do the same thing by
7:39adding older girls to her group number
7:41so you're saying to these kids you can't
7:43beat her on your own even though they
7:45have done nothing but beat her except
7:47for one
7:50time hey apples let's go come on kids
7:55everybody I have like a really cool
7:57surprise for you first of all let me
7:59tell you about the piece that we're
8:00going to be doing we are doing an Asian
8:02piece and the whole thing is going to be
8:05that there's an Asian princess with all
8:07the little lotus flowers and that there
8:10are two very handsome Ming Dynasty
8:12Warriors that are fighting over the
8:14Asian princess which is going to be Vivy
8:17she has to decide which handsome young
8:20man she
8:21wants when I first started a candy
8:24apples Kathy was Gang Busters over
8:27Kendall she was getting her all kinds of
8:29dance opportunities and it was great but
8:32things have changed a little bit that's
8:34kind of died down and now we're just
8:36just another number here is what is the
8:38amazing surprise could I please have my
8:41guest choreographers come
8:45in everybody this is Mitchell B and this
8:49is his assistant Michael so they'll be
8:52they'll be doing the choreography for
8:54you Mitchell confided to me that for the
8:57past couple weeks he has seen the ever
9:00famous ABY Lee Dance Company so Kathy
9:02doesn't have time to choreograph a new
9:04number for our kids to compete against
9:06Abby so she brings in not one but two
9:10choreographers we are ready to create a
9:13winning number for you yay this week all
9:16right all right let's go all right let's
9:18go to work good luck
9:29change use your play don't dance like a
9:31stick Chloe then one 2 3 4 five 6 7
9:36eight I'm so excited that Miss Abby put
9:39the older girls in our group routine
9:41because I really look up to them
9:44everybody you're dismissed Paige you
9:46need to be in class so do you are you
9:49excited for Paige this week you know I'm
9:51excited for Paige because she's getting
9:52the opportunity but I don't think it's a
9:56fair chance I I don't think that the
9:58dance is
10:00well trying to do this dance since last
10:02summer at Nationals and it keeps getting
10:04pulled I just hope she goes and does
10:05better than Kendall and I know that
10:06sounds terrible no it doesn't no no it
10:09doesn't we're upstairs in the viewing
10:11room and we're watching the girls take
10:12gymnastic class and you know Abby put so
10:15much pressure on these girls to beat
10:16Candy Apple this week so why are they
10:19taking gymnastics class why aren't they
10:21working on their solos my favorite part
10:23of pyramid was when she said Paige you
10:25need to win this Crown no excuses but no
10:28practice for you with any teachers do it
10:30on your own I know do it on your own I I
10:32think I'm going to go down and say
10:33something do you want to go down yes I
10:35might as well join you because I
10:36certainly have a few things to get off
10:38my chest Christy and I are going to go
10:40down and talk to Abby cuz I have a few
10:41Choice words I want to say to her about
10:43Paige's choreography Abby yes can we
10:46speak to you for a moment certainly
10:48what's up there's a lot expected of our
10:50girls this week with everything going on
10:52why are they in a gymnastics class and
10:54not working on their solos well your
10:56daughter is really weak in gymnastics
10:58and she needs to work on it my gymnastic
11:02someone has to teach her her dance well
11:04she's known her dance since last Abby
11:08she learned her dance for an hour last
11:10summer we pulled it because she didn't
11:12know it and the costume didn't work and
11:14she learned it for an hour last week and
11:16has never run it since that's two hours
11:18that is not teaching my daughter to
11:20dance Kelly should be glad play has a
11:22solo after pulling it and pulling it and
11:25pulling it that kid shouldn't even get a
11:28solo anymore she knows the deals yeah
11:31and it sucks let's just put it this way
11:33with the choreography that Paige has
11:35Kendall is going to beat her she does a
11:38bunch of hip moves and poses poses put

11:44choreography so she has a chance to beat
11:46Kendall but you won't do that because
11:49it's paid

12:00so today I'm going to go to lunch with

12:03to about what to do about Paige's

12:07and a Cosmopolitan absolutely not the
12:09same okay I need a drink to go back to
12:11the studio and watch my daughter's dance
12:13cuz the choreography sucks oh well
12:15Chloe's choreography suck last week so I
12:18feel your pain sister Kelly and I really
12:20just want Abby to give the same amount
12:22of attention to detail for our
12:24children's dances as she does for
12:25Maddie's dances she's in the 11-year-old
12:27category and she Shing her butt I know
12:31you're going to hire a choreographer I'm
12:32not going to hire a choreographer cuz
12:33then that'll just be World War II like
12:36I'm not doing that you're going to do it
12:38yourself I am going to do it myself know
12:40I danced at aby's years ago myself and I
12:43may have forgotten a few steps but I
12:45think I can handle a little Rec
12:46choreographing do you think Abby will
12:47notice if I change Pig's dance she's
12:50going to be mad Abby is not a rational
12:53person even if Kelly's the one who
12:55changes Pig's choreography Abby's going
12:58to take that out on page you're setting
13:00your daughter up to take the wrath of
13:03Kong just know that you really are going
13:06to open up a huge fight what four can of
13:10worms can I

13:25and secure a victory I've brought in two
13:28guest choreographers
13:29who are doing a routine to end all
13:33routines and Abby is going down this
13:36weekend Bend okay and then up Vivian by

13:43down one 2 3 hit four 5 6 seven eight
13:47work oh that was sweet good that gave me
13:50a cavity

14:00I think that Kendall overall is a nice
14:03talent and I think she has a lot of
14:04potential I just wish that technically
14:08maybe we would kick it up a notch you're
14:10just sitting here and you're just
14:11looking straight forward and the judges
14:13are out there so you need to make eye
14:15contact with the judges you know what I
14:16mean yes okay open

14:24you have to treat every rehearsal and as
14:29if you are performing and I don't think
14:32that Kendall's on our page yet when it
14:34comes to that nice rehearsal that we had
14:36good so nothing you wanted to change
14:38Kathy oh no I don't want to change
14:40anything I feel that Kathy needs to step
14:43it up a little bit Kathy has lost
14:45interest in Kendall as a dancer good job
14:48as always a pleasure to work with both

14:56you all right Chloe now remember we
14:59talked about this angry bird I need to

15:04beautiful feathers I need to see
15:06strength this week my solo is called
15:08Angry Bird I guess I do well with dark
15:10numbers because a lot of people have
15:12told me that I do so I try not to be
15:15dark in real life but on stage you have
15:16to perform so I have to
15:22perform the Angry Bird piece is
15:25contemporary in style but it has a lot
15:28of valid the technique behind it and
15:31Chloe excels at
15:34that Jill called me yesterday and um why
15:37are you still talking to her oh I think
15:39she's really sweet like her she's sweet
15:41all right but she um said that she's
15:43been driving so far which is ridiculous
15:46that she's driving 2 hours here's my
15:48violin I'm so sad for Jill she's so
15:50excited to see us made your bed lying it
15:52down out you got to hit that split Jill
15:55said Kathy can't choreograph things like
15:57Abby does I mean she knows that so she
15:59had to bring someone in oh so she's
16:01afraid she must really want to
16:06win very nice very

16:10nice you know what we need to change is
16:12this thing where you do what what is
16:14that thing where you go like this and
16:16like this did we change that okay cuz
16:19that's ugly I want to change Pages dance
16:23and I know by me doing that Paige is
16:25going to get in trouble but I'm really
16:27just doing this to help my kids and then
16:29how about you do like a fan kick or
16:30something up
16:35yeah okay and then we'll add some harder
16:39stuff to it I don't want to do the dance
16:41because Abby's going to throw a chair
16:44again done you're finished
16:47next Who's solo we won't even show her
16:51that we changed it then she's going to
16:53yell at me when I get off stage and who
16:55cares

17:10this is my chance to take Paige and run
17:12her dance one more time before we get on
17:14the bus she is going for a title and is
17:17expected to beat Kendall I want to do an
17:19a I don't want Abby to see the changes
17:22because if she sees them she's going to
17:23yell at us and then you're not going to
17:24be able to do them I changed the
17:26choreography because I just don't think
17:28that this dance
17:29is good enough to win a crown in a
17:31junior

17:45aren't you supposed to be looking
17:45forward all the moves that I'm putting
17:47in for Paige I think is really going to
17:49make the dance technically difficult
17:52enough that she has a great chance of
17:54beating Kendall do you like this way
17:56better than the way she had it yes well

18:32minutes so we thought we had a big break
18:33and we we don't one I don't want you to
18:36waste time for once in my life I'm glad
18:38that we're rushed in the dressing room
18:40because I don't think aby's going to
18:42have enough time to run P of solo hey

18:55walk in there as winners and we are
18:57going to walk out of there as winners

19:05Kendall is going directly up against
19:07Paige Kendall has to be at the top of

19:22beat Kendall don't worry about it it's

19:30expecting her to win a title that's a
19:32lot of pressure on her as long as you
19:34you do a good she can't say I just hope

19:49enough time for Kendall to go over her

19:56have to take her back into the hallway

23:02came on Abby was like what was

23:10that she's rolling around her feet are
23:13all sickled underneath her she does the
23:15cartwheel over the chair into a side
23:17Areo her legs are bent feet are sloppy
23:19telling you're much more successful at
23:22the real bar not the ballet bar stick to
23:25what you do best

23:34I am so proud of Paige she went against
23:37Abby and did the dance that she wanted
23:40to do and I think that takes a lot of
23:43Courage I like a solo that my mom
23:45changed and I think I did it well but I
23:49knew that AB was going to be
23:51mad Paige is going directly against
23:54Kendall for the title will she win now
23:57not with those new moves moves from your
23:59mom

24:09star my mom wants me to prove to Kathy
24:12that I'm a good dancer and I can be

24:25abies what's wrong with her music
24:28Kendall goes on stage for her solo the
24:30music comes on and it starts to skip
24:33immediately I see the fear in her little
24:35eyes Kendall's not going to stop she's
24:38going to dance this number but I know
24:40her fear is the music she's not on point
24:44and her number's a
24:48[Music]
24:52mess I'm sitting here watching Kendall's
24:55dance and it's very flatlined Kendall
24:57has taken none of the corrections that I
24:59have given her she's not performing
25:02she's not sharp she is definitely not
25:04making eye contact with the judges her
25:06solo is just
25:12mundane my former student Kendall is a
25:15beautiful little girl but the Kendall
25:17that stepped down on that stage and did
25:19that number was certainly not the kid
25:21that I've trained she was a hot mess
25:24what did Kathy have her doing all I know
25:27is she's wasting a whole whole lot of
25:28time in a car driving to Ohio when she
25:31could be in my studio training let's
25:34face it Jill big
25:39mistake Jill it's not a big deal when
25:42something like that happens because I'll
25:43tell you why to whom it's not a big deal
25:45to a 9-year-old little girl or
25:47to well you you didn't let me finish
25:50okay okay had Kathy taken a little more
25:53time with Kendall none of this would
25:55have happened can't humiliate her over
25:57and over over I know what is wrong with
26:01me I
26:02know let I let her do that it's not your
26:05fault I'm starting to think that Kathy
26:07took us in only despite Abby she was not
26:10a good candy apple she didn't fit in at
26:13all she's too pushy and too opinionated
26:16and she thinks her kid is way better
26:17than she really
26:19is it's the truth of the matter we all
26:23know that Jill is a studio Hopper if
26:25it's not happening now she's walking
26:28around whining is she truly one of my
26:31apples not really she's definitely an
26:34outsider looking in she's just a little
26:36girl who wants to dance Abby can't
26:39freaking look at her Kathy could care
26:41less about her no one cares about the
26:43kid this isn't what it's all
26:51about you went up on stage you did what
26:54mommy told you to do and you were
26:56fabulous
26:58I say that I'm sitting with Paige and
27:01she's upset she thinks aby's going to be
27:03mad and as a mom that's really hard you
27:07know do I let my kid follow her dreams
27:10and try to achieve something bigger in
27:12Life or do I let her just sit behind and
27:15not have her dance teacher be mad at her
27:17Abby said at Pyramid for you to work on
27:20it yourself that she wasn't helping so
27:22that's what you did mhm that's true you
27:24took her that is that not what she said
27:26what she said abolutely
27:28you followed her directions and you and
27:30your mother worked on it and we didn't
27:31like a few things weren't working out in
27:33the dance so we changed them absolutely
27:34that's it I know the storm is coming I
27:37can feel it and I'm going to be caught
27:40up in a whirlwind of just I don't even
27:44know
27:47py what were you doing out
27:51there I wanted to talk to Paige about
27:53her routine to find out what she was
27:56doing on that stage soon as she started
27:58it was like the wrong pose on the tri
27:59I'm like what is she doing out there
28:01well you told her to work on it herself
28:03so we worked on it at home hey you have
28:05to realize that when you're kind of up
28:07for a title you want to do a Flawless
28:09routine maybe her teacher should work
28:11with her more and then we'll do the
28:13dance that you choreograph Kelly stop
28:15with the we it's not about you it's
28:18about Paige you have to trust that I
28:21know what I'm doing P's goal was to go
28:23out and do a dance that she felt like
28:25she was pushing herself what was wrong
28:28with the dance that I choreographed and
28:30besides your mother's opinion what what
28:32else cuz I did easy steps cuz you do
28:35easy steps I just wanted to be like
28:37challenged more I was so proud of Paige
28:40for sticking up for herself she actually
28:42spoke to Abby and said you know I didn't
28:44like the choreography it was too easy
28:46you can't send her for a title and not
28:48have anything in it the things that she
28:50put in it we're a mess if she doesn't
28:53challenge herself she's never going to
28:55get better at
28:57anything I don't want to put her on the
28:59stage making her do things she's not
29:00ready to do I want her to do what she
29:02does well is she capable of more
29:05absolutely but what I gave her was clean
29:07and it would have clearly beat Kendall
29:09she went behind my back she threw stuff
29:11in it and you as a parent condoned it
29:14how dare you this is my name out there
29:18and as much as you and Christy and
29:19everybody else wants to think it's your
29:21kid it's your kid it's your kid you know
29:23what it's not you don't go behind
29:26somebody's back don't raise your kid to
29:28be a snake Kelly this is all Kelly's
29:31fault I blame the parent not the
29:35child don't cry I'm heartbroken because
29:39I'm the one that helped her change her
29:40dance don't be sad I'm sorry it's
29:44mommy's fault I'm the one that made you
29:45change
29:49it okay guys let's hear a little c a DC

30:07remember doesn't matter one point is not
30:09a landslide the last time that we
30:11encountered the Abby Lee Dance Company
30:13we did beat them by one point we would
30:15rather have a landslide Victory but I
30:19certainly do enjoy beating ABY

35:04seen and it was completely different

35:56highest score a N9 9 to1 soloist in the
35:59next star division will be that Kendall
36:01better not be first place there is no
36:04way that she's going to win and beat my
36:06girls with that performance 428
36:12Roxy Kendall wasn't up there at all so I
36:15guess Paige and I did pretty good next
36:17star 9 to1 small groups here are the top
36:19five fifth
36:22place 404a land unforgiving

36:29lo and behold we were
36:33fifth so they proceed to announce fourth
36:36third second no candy apples yet ladies
36:40and gentlemen our highest scoring 9 to
36:4211 small
36:44group I'm dreading first place I please

36:52list my intention this weekend was to
36:55beat Kathy we were f
36:58so hey I'm okay with that as long as we
37:01made the top five and they didn't I said
37:03Johnny apple seed is going to chop that
37:05Orchard down and that's exactly what we
37:12did was really good P our choreography
37:15was amazing one step below Chloe and
37:19Kendall didn't even Place Paige came
37:21here and she did what she was supposed
37:23to do she beat Kendall stop stop stop

37:32Paige Abby congratulates Paige I know
37:35that that had to kill Abby to do that I
37:37think Paige's choreography did pretty
37:39good she got the top 10 right below
37:42Chloe she did I just think that you
37:44underestimate Paige I think that if
37:46Paige gets some attention she has the
37:50ability to go out there and place I need
37:52to see a change in her she needs to want
37:55it Kelly you told her at pyamid you were
37:58not working with her do it herself she
38:01did it that didn't mean to change the
38:02choreography that means to just clean up
38:05what I given you if she comes in with
38:07easy choreography again then you know
38:09what I'm not going to deal with it I'm
38:11going to do the same thing I did this
38:12week you don't know what my plans are
38:14for you you can't read my mind you have
38:16to trust me I will never forgive Kelly

39:11the kids not placing I know you have a
39:13lot of students but if you can't give my
39:16student enough time how can I continue
39:19to keep bringing her to you when you
39:20can't give her the time a day I've just
39:22about had it with Jill it's been a long
39:26disappointing day for all of us and she
39:28immediately starts to Hound me with
39:31questions I mean maybe had you given her
39:33a little bit more time she could have
39:35done well in her
39:39number Kathy could have cared less she
39:42had nothing to say to me or to Kendall
39:46she blows me off I'm starting to regret
39:49that I pulled Kendall out of aby's dance
39:51group I think Kendall and I our time at
39:54the candy apples may be drawing to a
39:56close let's go
40:01guys hi girls Kathy how you doing fine

40:08cocktail party the night before no
