HELLDIVERS 2: ВАРБОНД, ПАТЧ И ДЕНЬ СВОБОДЫ — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Freedom Day is tomorrow. And you know,
- 0:03for the first time in a long time, I'm
- 0:05feeling really excited. I'm not just
- 0:07waiting for the Super-Earth anthem to
- 0:08be broadcast on the developers 'Discord
- 0:10for 24 hours. I'm waiting for an event.
- 0:13According to the roadmap, we'll be
- 0:15getting a new biome, a new enemy,
- 0:17festive stratagems (as leaked), and
- 0:19even a free rifle. But that's not all
- 0:22that's creating a festive atmosphere
- 0:23for me. It's also the fact that the
- 0:25developers released a whole guide on
- 0:28how to celebrate Freedom Day on their
- 0:30Discord channel. And the latest Warbond
- 0:33is a sniper one, despite the fact that
- 0:35it could be called a botched job. And
- 0:37today I'll tell you why. I still really
- 0:40liked it. It's ironic, yes, Warbond is
- 0:42botched, but I like it. And even
- 0:44despite the release of the new
- 0:46anti-cheat, there's hope for a bright
- 0:48future. And the balance patch turned
- 0:51out pretty good, even if it didn't
- 0:53fundamentally change anything. I want
- 0:55to tell you all about this today and
- 0:57even add a few more words about cheats.
- 1:00Yes, despite the fact that I had a long
- 1:02video, I still have something to say. I
- 1:04read your comments. Thank you very much
- 1:06, by the way. And it doesn't matter
- 1:08whether you agree with me or not. I
- 1:09like that we can exchange opinions. And
- 1:12it was based on your comments that I
- 1:14came up with new ideas. I really like
- 1:17that my channel is a platform where
- 1:19everyone can express their opinion, and
- 1:22then they can throw poop at each other
- 1:24because they disagree with your opinion
- 1:26. Well, that's the nature of the
- 1:28internet. So a special thanks to those
- 1:30who express their opinions politely and
- 1:32civilly. In short, there's a lot of
- 1:34news, and it's interesting. Make
- 1:36yourself some tea and some Dimokro
- 1:38coffee. I will, by the way. And let's
- 1:41figure out what happened in our game
- 1:43and how to look at it all. Subscribe to
- 1:46the channel, like it, watch the
- 1:48previous videos, and let's go. This is
- 1:51Beaver of Democracy. We need to talk. I
- 1:54hope you're already scared, because
- 1:56Halloween is coming, and Hiivivers 2
- 1:58will have a lot of new things: a
- 2:00stratagem, an enemy, a biome, and, of
- 2:02course, a warbond. But the biggest
- 2:05trick is farming. Well, it's time to
- 2:07learn about candy. Player will help you
- 2:10quickly purchase Hivers 2 and other
- 2:12games in seconds with auto-delivery.
- 2:15Thousands of products are also waiting
- 2:17on the website: neural network
- 2:19subscriptions, keys, items, Steam
- 2:20top-ups, all at incredibly good prices.
- 2:23And best of all, Playrock holds daily
- 2:25giveaways with cool prizes. All you
- 2:28have to do is complete tasks or make
- 2:30purchases on the website, earn
- 2:32Playtokens, exchange them for tickets,
- 2:34and win awesome prizes. An iPhone 18
- 2:38Pro, a 50-inch TV with Alice, an Apple
- 2:40Watch 12 Series, and more. Don't waste
- 2:43another minute and fill your cart with
- 2:45sweets. Follow the link in the
- 2:46description, and use my promo code "
- 2:48Khatka" to top up your Steam account
- 2:50commission-free. Enter my promo code in
- 2:53English or copy it from the pinned
- 2:55comment. And remember, Playrock is
- 2:59incredibly profitable. And I want to
- 3:03start with the most important thing.
- 3:05After all, Freedom Day is tomorrow. And
- 3:08in honor of this event, I'll even
- 3:10launch a stream, unless something
- 3:11unexpected happens in my life. I want
- 3:14to spend this day with the Hell Marines
- 3:16in my favorite game. And in their
- 3:18Discord channel, Row HeadGame Studios
- 3:20released an entire manual, because
- 3:21Freedom Day is what we need to
- 3:23celebrate. Let's check it out. By the
- 3:26way, I'll post this document separately
- 3:28in my Telegram channel. Link in the
- 3:29description. Subscribe. I periodically
- 3:32write there about Hell Divers 2, as
- 3:34well as about my life. So, if suddenly
- 3:36the channel stops posting videos, if
- 3:38you're subscribed to the Telegram
- 3:40channel, you'll at least know why.
- 3:42Although this year I plan to release a
- 3:44lot of videos. I hope I can do it. Oh
- 3:47well. In time for Freedom Day. And the
- 3:49first page of the manual greets us not
- 3:51only with flags, but also in small
- 3:53print in the lower left corner. Almost
- 3:55every page says that celebrating
- 3:57Freedom Day is very important. And if
- 3:59someone doesn't celebrate, report it to
- 4:01the democracy officer. Base. Fierce
- 4:03base. Pages two through eleven are
- 4:06flags. According to the manual, you
- 4:08need to cut them out, hang them on a
- 4:10string, and hang them in your room.
- 4:12Well, more precisely, on a supermini.
- 4:14On page twelve, a small game awaits us.
- 4:18According to the instructions written
- 4:20in small print in the lower left corner
- 4:22, we need to print this biotitan in A3
- 4:25format for maximum democratic pleasure.
- 4:28And the idea of the game is quite
- 4:29simple. You hang a poster of a titan on
- 4:32the wall, close your eyes, and take one
- 4:34of the orbital strikes that can be cut
- 4:36out from the bottom. The task is to
- 4:39stand away from the wall, extend your
- 4:40arm, and with your eyes closed, launch
- 4:42an orbital strike at the Titan. You
- 4:44have to try to hit the vulnerable spots
- 4:46, otherwise the Titan won't die. The
- 4:48better your hits, the more democratic.
- 4:50On page thirteen, we find the paint job
- 4:53. And remember, you must use only
- 4:55colors approved by Super Earth. And if
- 4:58you don't know which colors are
- 5:00approved, you can check out the
- 5:01official cosplay guide. Yes, the
- 5:03developers posted it too. It's
- 5:06absolutely forbidden to use colors like
- 5:08purple, red, and orange, as they can
- 5:11express sympathy for the enemy and be
- 5:13associated with betrayal by Super Earth
- 5:15. Again, in the lower left corner, it
- 5:18says in small print: "Read the fine
- 5:19print." This isn't a license agreement
- 5:21for the game. You have to read it. It's
- 5:23a small reference to what I'm going to
- 5:26talk about cheats. Don't forget to
- 5:28decorate your Super Smin with
- 5:30decorations. They're on pages 14 and
- 5:3215. They should be placed around the
- 5:35helppods, or hellish capsules, on the
- 5:37bridge of the Super Smin. By the way, I
- 5:40hope our Super-Earths will be decorated
- 5:42in honor of the game. I'm really
- 5:43looking forward to it. And on page 16,
- 5:45you'll find a Hell Marine mask, so
- 5:48every Super-Earth resident who hasn't
- 5:50yet become a Hell Marine can feel like
- 5:53a hero. On page 17, we have the Freedom
- 5:56Day schedule. All Hell Marines must
- 5:59follow it. At midnight, we'll have a 24
- 6:02-hour stream of the Super-Earth anthem.
- 6:05It's a must-watch. It'll be on the
- 6:07developers' Discord. At 6:00 AM, we
- 6:10have a special newscast. There will be
- 6:13a live broadcast from the new memorial
- 6:15dedicated to the victory at Malevelon
- 6:17Creek. And after this broadcast, at
- 6:197:00 AM, we'll see the execution of
- 6:21dissidents. Hooray! It will last two
- 6:24hours, after which there will be a
- 6:26Freedom Day parade, including a speech
- 6:28by the President of Super-Earth, as
- 6:31well as General Brush. At 1:00 PM, all
- 6:34Hell Troopers must arrive on the Moon
- 6:36in their Super-Minions, because we are
- 6:38commencing orbital bombardment in honor
- 6:40of Freedom Day. We must unleash 15,000
- 6:44megatons of power on the surface of
- 6:46Super-Earth's satellite. And at 4:00 PM
- 6:50, all citizens of Super-Earth must give
- 6:53a synchronized salute. At 7:00 PM, we
- 6:56have Super Earth's Next Top Hell Divers
- 6:59. The finale. Who will earn the cape? A
- 7:02must-see. Of course, at 8:00 PM,
- 7:05there's a surprise. Another execution
- 7:07of dissidents. And at 9:00 PM, we have
- 7:09the premiere of General Brush's film.
- 7:12There are two automatons now. Children
- 7:14can play games approved by the Ministry
- 7:17of Truth. Jumping over the Super-Earth
- 7:19fire. Find the Armenid. Mobilization.
- 7:23And by the way, I don't know how to
- 7:24translate this. Literally adopting an
- 7:26SSZshnik. Like Superzealous soldiers,
- 7:29we play them, well, more accurately,
- 7:31the kids do. We're also planning a
- 7:33banquet in honor of Freedom Day, and we
- 7:35have a menu. The first course will be
- 7:38Freedom Day oatmeal. It's dietary and,
- 7:40according to the recommendations of Dr.
- 7:43Democracy, is available even for those
- 7:44on a diet. The main course will be
- 7:48baked pizzarito short ribs, courtesy of
- 7:50Freedom Hat. Served with a cup of
- 7:54Dimacrocoffee. And to finish it all off
- 7:57, you can have some afternoon freedom
- 7:59tea, served with Sweet Freedom cookies.
- 8:03And on the last page, there's a short
- 8:06quiz, and I suggest you take it right
- 8:09now with my squad. It includes Octavius
- 8:13, a lover of supercredits and medals;
- 8:16the most democratic madman; and the
- 8:19craziest democrat; Crazy; and the great
- 8:22, terrible democratic Ministry of Truth
- 8:25. Pause the video when you hear the
- 8:27questions and try to answer them
- 8:29yourself. The quiz is quite challenging
- 8:31in places. Question one. Are you ready?
- 8:34>> Let's go.
- 8:35>> Right, right.
- 8:36>> How are you, how are you feeling on
- 8:38this festive day? Option one. You are
- 8:41proud to be a citizen of Super-Earth.
- 8:43Option two. You are filled with the
- 8:45democratic spirit.
- 8:46>> I am free. That's enough for me. I have
- 8:50to choose one of the two options.
- 8:52>> I am democratic.
- 8:54>> I choose the first option.
- 8:56>> So, I want to remind you of the two
- 8:58options. Option one: be proud to be a
- 9:01citizen of Super-Earth. Option two: you
- 9:03are filled with the democratic spirit.
- 9:05>> Ah, well, the first one is definitely
- 9:06there.
- 9:07>> I choose the first one. Option two.
- 9:10What are terminids? Option one:
- 9:13profound misunderstanding. Option two:
- 9:17a threat to managed democracy. Option
- 9:20three: a great pet and company. Option
- 9:23four: Largstick. Great pacifists.
- 9:29>> Well, obviously, there's
- 9:30>> no doubt about it.
- 9:32>> Option from the Ministry of Truth: a
- 9:33threat to managed democracy. Octavius.
- 9:35You
- 9:35>> can offer your own options.
- 9:38>> You can. You can. Try it, try it.
- 9:42>> Well, for me, I'm wavering between
- 9:44mushroom violence or fascists.
- 9:50>> Damn dissidents are blocking access to
- 9:53the democratic network. Great,
- 9:55>> you already missed the first question,
- 9:57Marine. I'll
- 9:58>> serve ten exiles on Kaberstan.
- 10:00>> The question was, who are Terminids?
- 10:02Thanks.
- 10:03>> Oh, and I actually thought it was just
- 10:05a walking gas tank. When my car runs
- 10:08out of gas, I just stick the little
- 10:09garbage man in the gas tank, shove him
- 10:11in with the butt of my gun, and that's
- 10:13it. And off I go. I'm
- 10:15>> sure every hellish Marine does that.
- 10:17Question three. Why are we fighting a
- 10:19galactic war? Option one: to spread
- 10:21managed democracy. Option two: to free
- 10:24the galaxy from threats to our way of
- 10:26life. Option three: to ensure the
- 10:29prosperity and security of a
- 10:32super-Earth. Option four. All of that
- 10:35combined. Of course, four,
- 10:37>> what do you mean asking why? Because
- 10:40the damn bugs are trying to destroy our
- 10:42democracy.
- 10:43>> This is a great test. It's really
- 10:46profound, obviously. The answer is four
- 10:49.
- 10:50>> What code do I enter on the helppad to
- 10:52call for reinforcements? I don't think
- 10:54I'll even give you the options here.
- 10:56You have to understand.
- 10:57>> What if I'm doing this purely on
- 10:59intuition? I have a weird feeling in my
- 11:01head. Up, down, right, left, up, down,
- 11:05right, left, up, I think.
- 11:08>> Yes, that's it.
- 11:09>> Excellent. Ministry of Truth, I never
- 11:11doubted you.
- 11:12>> I have teammates who are very good at
- 11:15gaining this statogem. Or when I'm
- 11:18alone, I die and everyone else drops
- 11:21out, well, everyone drops out on their
- 11:23own. Okay. My favorite question. What's
- 11:26the automatons 'favorite color? Option
- 11:29one. Orange glow. Autumn dawn. Option
- 11:34two: red. Option three: none. They're
- 11:37just stupid robots.
- 11:41>> Okay, excuse me.
- 11:43>> Option three: metallic gray, gun-grade
- 11:45metallic gray at that. People, there's
- 11:49a note in small print here. If your
- 11:52score on the quiz is less than 100%,
- 11:55please notify the Democracy Officer.
- 11:58>> Holy [ __ ]. Well, a Democracy Officer
- 12:01isn't needed; you can voice your
- 12:04concerns directly. And
- 12:06>> yes, yes, we have someone higher up.
- 12:08>> Why? Why is there a robot as the
- 12:10Ministry of Truth's avatar now? This is
- 12:13what confuses me.
- 12:16>> He is our federation's absolutely
- 12:19approved delivery courier. He delivers
- 12:22food to our citizens.
- 12:24>> So, let's go again. What's the
- 12:27automatons' favorite color? Option one.
- 12:30The orange glow of an autumn dawn.
- 12:35Option two is red. Option three is
- 12:38useless. They're just stupid robots.
- 12:40Option four,
- 12:41>> and it's gunmetal gray.
- 12:45>> Well, of course, of course, as if
- 12:47landing on a planet with automatons, we
- 12:49see one single factor that speaks of
- 12:51automatons. Obviously, option three.
- 12:55And they're [ __ ] stupid, can you
- 12:57imagine, [ __ ] stupid. Stupid.
- 13:00>> I'm torn between the third and fourth.
- 13:02They're
- 13:04>> so nuts, they lug around hundreds of
- 13:06millions of tons of concrete to build a
- 13:09fortress that the paratroopers
- 13:10destroyed in three minutes.
- 13:13>> So stupid.
- 13:15>> The question about color is a trick
- 13:17question.
- 13:19>> Subscribers will judge how worthy you
- 13:20are of being sent to freedom camps for
- 13:22your, of course, correct answers.
- 13:24>> Hooray! Vacation! And besides this
- 13:27wonderful guide, I really really liked
- 13:30it. It's a shame, though, that all this
- 13:32is only on paper. Imagine if you went
- 13:34to Supersminica, there was a real
- 13:36oatmeal banquet, and at 9:00 PM, they
- 13:38actually showed a movie with General
- 13:40Brush. That would be cool, but I'm not
- 13:42sure it will happen. But anyway, we
- 13:44have a lot to look forward to. I'm
- 13:46actually proposing a challenge for all
- 13:48true hellish paratroopers. In short,
- 13:50land on Automatons on difficulty 10,
- 13:53and you can only use holiday stratagems
- 13:55, if they're available. I hope they are
- 13:58. The leaks have already shown
- 13:59everything. There's a beautiful eagle
- 14:01flyby. The eagle won't do anything,
- 14:03it'll just fly by beautifully. And the
- 14:06confetti explosion. I'm sure it won't
- 14:08deal any damage to anyone. It's just
- 14:09beautiful. Again, you land on
- 14:11Automatons on difficulty 10, and all
- 14:14the stratagems you can use are
- 14:15holiday-themed. There are two
- 14:18exceptions. This is reinforcement, to
- 14:19make the mission last longer than 3
- 14:21minutes. And if you absolutely can't
- 14:23complete an objective without calling
- 14:25down an Inferno Bomb, you can call down
- 14:26an Inferno Bomb. Otherwise, that's it.
- 14:29I suggest everyone do this. I, for
- 14:32example, will make one on stream. And
- 14:34besides the wonderful guide, the
- 14:36arrowheads posted a cookie recipe.
- 14:38Sweet freedom. I'll get around to
- 14:41making them too. I'm going to have a
- 14:43really fun morning on Monday. I'll go
- 14:45to the store for ingredients and
- 14:47prepare them before the stream. If
- 14:49everything goes according to plan and I
- 14:51don't burn my supermint because I don't
- 14:52use the oven often, I'll show the
- 14:54results on the stream. And I really
- 14:56like how the recipe is written: cookies
- 14:58, sweet freedom, accessible equipment,
- 15:00a precise mass calibrator-that's a
- 15:02scale. Two holding vessels-that's bowls
- 15:06. Tactical thermal delivery platform,
- 15:10baking sheet. Protective cover for
- 15:13scorched earth-that's baking parchment.
- 15:17Ministry-approved stasis film, cling
- 15:19film. Motorized mixing unit-that's a
- 15:23mixer. For nine cookies, we'll need 110
- 15:27grams of standard-issue butter, 110
- 15:30grams of brown freedom crystals-that's
- 15:32cane sugar, 45 grams of refined grains
- 15:35of morale. It's regular sugar, one
- 15:39protein powder, an egg, 1 g extra
- 15:42vanilla, super vanilla extract, or more
- 15:45precisely, 180 g of crushed Super Earth
- 15:48golden wheat, 3 g rapid expansion agent
- 15:51, 2 g tears of the enemies of freedom
- 15:54—that's salt—and 70 g concentrated
- 15:56cocoa shrapnel. Decorate everything
- 16:00with blue-tinted white chocolate icing
- 16:02and stars. Use the cooking protocols.
- 16:06This is the recipe the Orowheads have
- 16:08on Discord. I'll post it again on my
- 16:10Telegram channel. And attempting to
- 16:12make it without reading the
- 16:14instructions will result in transfer to
- 16:16the kitchen. Oh, that's fantastic,
- 16:18absolutely fantastic. Damn, can I
- 16:20please come to the Super Earth party on
- 16:22Monday and see the ship's captain
- 16:24standing right under my nose, with
- 16:25cookies like these on them? I think
- 16:28this is all so cool. I mean, I don't
- 16:30know about you, but when I found all
- 16:32this and read it, I had a blast. And it
- 16:34adds to the festive atmosphere. I have
- 16:36high expectations, actually. And
- 16:38although usually with Orooheads, high
- 16:40expectations lead to great
- 16:42disappointment, like Russian football
- 16:44in 2012. But nevertheless, I hope
- 16:46everything will be great. And let's
- 16:48move on to the patch. It's a small
- 16:50thing, but it's nice. First, the
- 16:52developers have made Bile Beetles, Puke
- 16:54Beetles, and so on, a separate strain.
- 16:57This was done for a reason. Again, if
- 17:00you saw the leaks, if you saw what kind
- 17:02of new enemy awaits us, then this was
- 17:04precisely to add it to this strain and
- 17:06make it a separate enemy type.
- 17:09Previously, the appearance of Puke
- 17:11Beetles wasn't random. In the bug guide
- 17:13, I talked about which missions they
- 17:15spawn in, but now we'll see them on the
- 17:17map. And actually, by the way, I'm a
- 17:19little upset that no one mentioned this
- 17:22or noticed. For everyone who complained
- 17:25and asked, "Where's the explanation on
- 17:28the galaxy map about what enemies await
- 17:31us?" Well, here it is. This was
- 17:33essentially a separate cliche before.
- 17:35It's just that now we'll see that we'll
- 17:37be facing Bile Beetles. Excellent, in
- 17:40my opinion. Secondly, a little about
- 17:42balance changes. The developers looked
- 17:44at the weapons from the Hale Kilzon
- 17:46Warbonds and decided that they weren't
- 17:48powerful enough. And, in principle, I
- 17:50agree with them. However, we still have
- 17:53different views on this issue. I
- 17:55believe the problem with the Hale
- 17:57Kilzon Warbonds is that the weapons
- 17:59from these warbonds don't provide any
- 18:02unique abilities or unique experiences.
- 18:04Okay, this isn't so true with the Hale
- 18:07Warbond, because after the stealth
- 18:08rework, the weapons from it—namely
- 18:10the pistol, machine guns, and pistol—
- 18:13have truly become niche and quite good.
- 18:15The silenced pistol from the Hale
- 18:17Warbond, for example, is one of my
- 18:18favorites. But the Killzone Warbond, in
- 18:20my opinion, is simply worthless. But
- 18:22let's get back to the changes. And
- 18:24again, I really like how the developers
- 18:26have started writing the patches
- 18:28themselves. They now describe what they
- 18:30see as the problem and how they want to
- 18:32solve it. However, what I disagree with
- 18:35is that the changes they made will
- 18:38solve the problem described. So here's
- 18:41the problem. Warbond and Killzone
- 18:43weapons were inferior to their
- 18:44counterparts in effectiveness because
- 18:46they couldn't be modified. What did
- 18:48they do about it? They slightly buffed
- 18:50almost all the barrels in these
- 18:51Warbonds. And these changes are only
- 18:54noticeable on the Heilo Warbond shotgun
- 18:56. Why? Because they increased the
- 18:58damage and durability of each pellet.
- 19:01As a result, even at long range, this
- 19:03shotgun began to one-shot, for example,
- 19:05those same Bug Hunters more often. And
- 19:07that's nice; it didn't do that before.
- 19:09So, the change is small, but noticeable
- 19:11within the context of the game. You
- 19:12used to need two shots, now you need
- 19:14one. Although, it would seem, the
- 19:16damage hasn't increased much. But if we
- 19:18take assault rifles, nothing much has
- 19:21changed. Look, there's the assault
- 19:23rifle from Hale. They reduced its
- 19:25recoil slightly and increased its
- 19:26damage against solid targets slightly.
- 19:28But the rifle's main problem was the
- 19:31ammunition. So, the MA5s rifle was
- 19:33still powerful with medium armor
- 19:35penetration, and it still has powerful
- 19:37with medium armor penetration. It just
- 19:41has slightly less recoil now, which
- 19:43makes it easier to hit heads and other
- 19:45weak points, making it just as
- 19:47effective, in accurate shooting, as
- 19:50rifles with light armor penetration.
- 19:53And the main drawback of this rifle has
- 19:55always been its small ammunition
- 19:57capacity, because an assault rifle with
- 19:59medium armor penetration differs from
- 20:00an assault rifle with light armor
- 20:02penetration in that it is more
- 20:04forgiving and allows you to shoot at
- 20:06medium armor. So, if you give it more
- 20:09ammo, you'll essentially make it a good
- 20:11alternative to the Liberator with
- 20:13average armor penetration. Why didn't
- 20:16they do that? Well, because that's the
- 20:18core tradition of the Ruhheads. Their
- 20:19weapon balance and strategism are
- 20:21mostly cosmetic. Sometimes it works
- 20:23well, like with the Hale shotgun. And
- 20:26sometimes, well, I didn't feel anything
- 20:28. No change. The Kilzon rifle and
- 20:31Kilzon submachine gun also had their
- 20:33recoil reduced. The P-Ps got better
- 20:36ergonomics, the rifles got more ammo,
- 20:39and none of that matters. The rifle's
- 20:42downside was the lack of a proper scope
- 20:44, because the Kilzon Warbond rifle is a
- 20:46rifle with light armor penetration. So,
- 20:50its concept is that you should shoot at
- 20:52weak spots, which is very difficult to
- 20:54do with the terrible scope it comes
- 20:56with. Especially considering how the
- 20:59maps in H-Divers 2 love weather effects
- 21:02, so to speak, and pretty color effects
- 21:04. It's impossible to aim through this
- 21:06scope. I still can't shoot at long
- 21:08range. Tell me, was there no
- 21:10customization at all in Kilzon? I just
- 21:12don't know. So no one ever changed the
- 21:14scopes on the rifles there, right? And
- 21:17it's generally haram to put a different
- 21:19scope on this rifle, am I right? Well,
- 21:21then they should have given it some
- 21:23medium armor penetration, so it would
- 21:25be a rifle for close-to-medium range
- 21:27that can destroy everything. But as it
- 21:29is, it's a rifle where you're supposed
- 21:31to shoot at weak points, but you can't
- 21:32shoot at weak points properly because
- 21:34there's no scope. That's nonsense. And
- 21:36the changes in this patch don't solve
- 21:38this problem at all. I haven't touched
- 21:41the PP, so I won't comment yet. I have
- 21:43touched the Accelerator Rifle, so I'll
- 21:45comment later. And the rawheads noticed
- 21:48a funny problem with this barrel, which
- 21:50actually does exist. It's that when you
- 21:53fire the Accelerator Rifle, the enemy
- 21:55twitches, and the Accelerator Rifle
- 21:58only fires in bursts. There's no other
- 22:00choice. Because the enemy twitches,
- 22:02your first shot hits the target, but
- 22:05the rest land slightly off-target. And
- 22:07it's not because you're cross-eyed, but
- 22:09because, again, the enemy twitched from
- 22:11the first shot. And it was annoying,
- 22:13but in practice, it wasn't a problem,
- 22:15because, look, we have several
- 22:17scenarios for how we use the
- 22:19Accelerator Rifle. Scenario one. We use
- 22:22it against light enemies, like Terminid
- 22:24Warriors, Automaton Destroyers, and so
- 22:27on. This rifle one-shots them all in
- 22:30their weak spots. That is, if you hit
- 22:32the head, it destroys the enemy. If you
- 22:35miss, then, well, it depends. And
- 22:38because of the reduction in stagger
- 22:40power, they, the gods, it's ridiculous.
- 22:42They reduced stagger power from 20 to
- 22:4415, that is, by only five points. And
- 22:46in terms of headshots, nothing changed.
- 22:48Your first shot hit the target and
- 22:50killed the enemy, and the other two
- 22:53were simply wasted. That's how it
- 22:55remained. Nothing changed. The second
- 22:56scenario is you were shooting at
- 22:58ultra-light opponents. They were simply
- 23:00obliterated. Bug scavengers, Illuminati
- 23:02zombies, regular bobot soldiers—it
- 23:04didn't matter where you fired, you
- 23:06killed them. And if you're as
- 23:08straight-armed as a super-private Letov
- 23:10cadet, then you could even take out
- 23:12several light opponents with that
- 23:14three-round burst. Okay? The balance
- 23:16changes had absolutely no effect on
- 23:18that. And the third scenario is you're
- 23:20shooting at a Charger's ass or Hulk's
- 23:22vents. These are large units, and to
- 23:24stage them, you need to build up stager
- 23:26strength. There's a mechanic there, so
- 23:29the more you shoot, the more stager
- 23:30strength you build up, and so on. I've
- 23:32already talked about this. It's
- 23:33precisely because of this mechanic that
- 23:35you sometimes have situations where the
- 23:37enemy stages right away, and sometimes
- 23:39after a while. So, regarding the
- 23:41scenario where you shoot, well, let's
- 23:43take the Charger's ass as an example,
- 23:45yes, nothing has changed. He doesn't
- 23:48flinch, he doesn't stage if you shoot
- 23:49him in the ass. And if you're lucky
- 23:52with the Tagerices, then it's a big ass
- 23:54, no big deal, you hit him anyway. So,
- 23:57the changes are cosmetic, not even
- 23:59cosmetic, they're just fundamental, yes
- 24:01, not fundamental, they haven't really
- 24:04changed anything. Okay, now the
- 24:07Accelerator reloads faster. Instead of
- 24:103.3 seconds, it reloads in 2.7 seconds.
- 24:14They reduced it by half a second, but
- 24:15the reload is still incredibly slow.
- 24:17The Accelerator Rifle's main problem
- 24:19has always been something else. There
- 24:21were two. It was the ammunition and the
- 24:22armor penetration. The Accelerator
- 24:24Rifle isn't powerful enough to simply
- 24:27fire at an enemy, like, say, a Pyro.
- 24:30It's the best barrel of the free
- 24:32Warbont, also a plasma one. It doesn't
- 24:34matter where you fire it. You'll just
- 24:36knock them out with damage. That
- 24:37doesn't work with the Accelerator Rifle
- 24:39. But if you give it heavy armor
- 24:41penetration, it becomes a rifle with
- 24:43limited ammunition, but with the
- 24:45ability to blow away the Hulk's head,
- 24:47with the ability to destroy Illuminati
- 24:49mechs or Illuminati Reapers much faster
- 24:51, with the ability to finish off, say,
- 24:53a Charger, anywhere on the body or rip
- 24:55off their leg armor. So, for this rifle
- 24:59to really shine, it needs heavy armor
- 25:01penetration, or, okay, maybe not heavy
- 25:04armor penetration, but it needs more
- 25:06ammunition, because it has incredibly
- 25:08little ammunition and needs to be
- 25:10reloaded incredibly often, and there
- 25:12seem to be no opponents for this rifle.
- 25:15The only enemies that are suitable for
- 25:17it are pukes on beetles. And only
- 25:19because they can be killed with
- 25:21headshots. That's it, there are no
- 25:22other decent targets. This rifle is
- 25:24useless, and that's its main problem.
- 25:26And at the same time, because of the
- 25:28ammo capacity, the Accelerator Rifle
- 25:30positions itself as some kind of
- 25:31special weapon for special purposes
- 25:33with some special functionality. But
- 25:35that's not true. It simply doesn't
- 25:37exist. And the changes the arrowheads
- 25:40made don't solve this problem. It's
- 25:42just as useless as it was before, and
- 25:45it remains useless and useless. Now
- 25:47about the sickles. The Arrowheads
- 25:49simply slightly enhanced their
- 25:50abilities. Here's an example of that
- 25:53very cosmetic buff, where they slightly
- 25:55changed the numbers. I call those buffs
- 25:58cosmetic. But the change is noticeable.
- 26:01I played with the sickles, and they
- 26:03reduced the delay before firing,
- 26:05seemingly from 0.5 seconds to 0.33
- 26:07seconds. It's noticeable. It's
- 26:10downright palpable. The standard sickle
- 26:12also fires longer because they reduced
- 26:14the heat generated per shot. However, a
- 26:17number popped up in the patch notes
- 26:19that really surprised me. It turns out
- 26:21that both sickles, the regular one and
- 26:23the double-edged one, don't immediately
- 26:25begin to cool down after you finish
- 26:27firing them, but there's a slight delay
- 26:28. What's that for? And they reduced
- 26:32this parameter from 1.33 seconds to
- 26:340.66 seconds. And I think this
- 26:37parameter is as unnecessary as the
- 26:39recoil on a laser weapon. Remember at
- 26:41some point when laser weapons like the
- 26:43scythe, the laser shotgun—I forgot
- 26:45what it's called, the trident—got a
- 26:47kickback? Oh, and the laser cannon
- 26:49started to have kickback. And everyone
- 26:51wondered: why the hell? Why would a
- 26:53laser weapon need kickback? So, what's
- 26:56going on around the sickle batteries
- 26:58that they take so long to cool down?
- 27:01Like, did they heat up the air so much,
- 27:03or are the Hell Marine's hot gloves
- 27:04preventing them from cooling right away
- 27:06? Now that this half-second delay is
- 27:09practically nonsensical. Why the hell
- 27:11would it be needed, why the hell would
- 27:12it be needed? I don't get it. But the
- 27:14buff is nice, let it be there. Thanks,
- 27:16Aruhed. All shotguns with light armor
- 27:19penetration, not just the Halo one,
- 27:20also received increased damage per
- 27:22pellet, as well as durability damage.
- 27:24That's nice. You'll see more one-shots
- 27:26from shotguns with light armor
- 27:28penetration. This should especially
- 27:30impact the Hurricane Crusher shotgun,
- 27:32by the way. It should buff it quite a
- 27:35bit. Anyone who's played with it, tell
- 27:37me how it feels now, because it was
- 27:39just a piece of junk before. There's a
- 27:41section on missions in the patch notes.
- 27:42It says there have been some minor
- 27:45balance adjustments to the missions.
- 27:48Critical Materials Extraction is when
- 27:50you protect generators. And behind that
- 27:53line are actually new maps. Yes, new
- 27:55maps have been added for this mission,
- 27:57for the Leaders, the Automatons, and
- 27:59the Illuminati, and they're appearing
- 28:00periodically now. I highly recommend
- 28:02checking them out. It's cool, I liked
- 28:04them. First of all, the new maps have
- 28:06added artillery. So, when you land, you
- 28:08can load up your artillery, just like
- 28:10in regular missions, and call it in.
- 28:12Cool. They've also significantly
- 28:14widened the passage through which
- 28:16enemies can enter your base, but at the
- 28:18same time improved firing positions and
- 28:21spread out the generators. They're now
- 28:23spaced farther apart, making it harder
- 28:25for enemies to wipe you all at once.
- 28:28That means a single breach that
- 28:30destroyed one generator can still be
- 28:32countered. My comrades and I lost two
- 28:34of the three generators at the start of
- 28:36the mission and heroically defended the
- 28:38last one. Cool. Great changes, great
- 28:41new maps. But the Maxigan buff, in my
- 28:44opinion, is debatable. Yes, there are
- 28:46some good things. They increased the
- 28:48knockback momentum. That means the
- 28:50Maxigan knocks back both living enemies
- 28:52and, more importantly, corpses. That's
- 28:54good. It allows the Maxigan to fire for
- 28:56longer. However, they didn't add the
- 28:58ability to move with the Maxigan. Oh,
- 29:00these half measures. Now, after you
- 29:02fire the Maxigan, you can jump away
- 29:04immediately, instead of after half a
- 29:06second, as before. And yes, that's a
- 29:08good change, but could I please walk
- 29:10slowly, but still, with the Maxigan?
- 29:13There was a mod, and by the way, it's
- 29:14already been brought back; I'll show
- 29:15you later, that allows you to walk
- 29:16around with a Maxi-Gun. And the
- 29:18Maxi-Gun becomes a really cool weapon
- 29:20because if a Charger or Titan dies in
- 29:23front of you, your fire is blocked, and
- 29:25you're forced to move anyway. Why not
- 29:28make it possible to walk and shoot?
- 29:29Well, we'll wait another year for the
- 29:31RuHeads to figure that out. Thanks to
- 29:33the modders, we don't have to wait a
- 29:35year. This, by the way, counts as early
- 29:38access to content that hasn't been
- 29:40released yet. I'm predicting that
- 29:41within a year you'll be able to
- 29:43officially walk around with a Maxi-Gun.
- 29:45The Explosive Hammer has been given
- 29:47additional explosive shells. Thanks,
- 29:49three more now. That's good. Let it be.
- 29:52The orbital shrapnel salvo has been
- 29:54improved. This stratagem was previously
- 29:57useless. Why? You'd think four shrapnel
- 30:00salvos from orbit. They should clear
- 30:02out the small fry perfectly. However,
- 30:03because the shrapnel was spread over a
- 30:05fairly wide area, these volleys, even
- 30:07when aimed at a large crowd of beetles,
- 30:09often fell on deaf ears. That is, the
- 30:12beetles would pass between the volleys;
- 30:13they could literally pass between the
- 30:15shrapnel. You'd throw a seemingly
- 30:18powerful Stratogem and not see a
- 30:19killstreak. So what did the Arouhede do
- 30:21? They made the shrapnel fall more
- 30:24densely, much more densely. And now,
- 30:27when you throw a volley of shrapnel at
- 30:29a breakthrough, you see that coveted
- 30:31killstreak. Excellent. Thanks, Arouhede
- 30:34. Heavy flamethrower damage, like that
- 30:37of the Flamethrower Turret and the
- 30:39Lumberjack Mech, has been increased
- 30:41from three to eight points of fire
- 30:43damage. That's nice; the Flamethrower
- 30:46Turret was already very effective
- 30:48against some enemies, like Spore
- 30:49Beetles. Now it's performing even
- 30:51better. I recommend giving it a try.
- 30:54And the Gas Eagle's damage has finally
- 30:57been reduced from 50 to 40, which means
- 30:59it can't cover certain objects, like
- 31:02automatons 'eyes. On the one hand, it's
- 31:05sad because it's NF, but on the other,
- 31:07in H-Divers 2, stratagem balance is
- 31:09crucial, meaning there shouldn't be a
- 31:11single, all-around powerful stratagem
- 31:13that can cover every objective. And
- 31:15that's just how it turned out with the
- 31:17Gas Eagle. Another question is why this
- 31:20bug persisted for so long. What was so
- 31:24hard about changing one number for
- 31:25another? Why did they wait over a month
- 31:28for this, two months, actually? And at
- 31:31the end of the patch, there were a ton
- 31:33of bug fixes. Kudos to RooHead for that
- 31:36. Good job fixing the game and fixing
- 31:39the issues. Let's move on to Warbond.
- 31:41And you know, for me, it's a Warbond of
- 31:43contrasts. I absolutely love everything
- 31:45about this Warbond. But for every item
- 31:49in Warbond, or, okay, almost every item
- 31:51, there's an example of shoddy work,
- 31:53the kind you'd expect from the Oroheads
- 31:56. Okay, you're expecting some, I'll
- 31:58tell you about that now. But for some,
- 32:00well, how could they do that? That's so
- 32:02out of their league. They don't usually
- 32:05do that. And the shoddy work was
- 32:06obvious from the very beginning. As
- 32:08soon as you bought Warbond at release
- 32:10—I unfortunately don't have any
- 32:12footage, but those who bought Warbond
- 32:14right away saw it. The card layout in
- 32:16Warbond is really, really clunky.
- 32:18Instead of a nice, standard rectangle,
- 32:21as is always the case in Warbond,
- 32:23there's some goddamn mess. Seriously,
- 32:26what is this? And on the first page,
- 32:28there are three items: armor, a rifle,
- 32:30and a mine. Let's start with something
- 32:33simple, armor. We have three armors in
- 32:35Warbond. Light with leafy details,
- 32:37medium, which is quite nice, in my
- 32:39opinion. And there's another one in
- 32:41Supergazine—a winter version of
- 32:43sniper armor. They share the same
- 32:45passive. It reduces weapon sway by 35%,
- 32:48reduces movement noise by 15%, and
- 32:51reduces visibility, but only when the
- 32:53Hell Marine is stationary. Overall, I'd
- 32:57say this is cosplay armor. As stealth
- 32:59armor, it's inferior to the armor and
- 33:01StealthWarbond. As marksmanship armor,
- 33:03it's inferior to armor that buffs
- 33:05ergonomics. But if you want to cosplay
- 33:08a sniper, this is perfect, especially
- 33:10considering the dynamic camouflage that
- 33:11adapts to the environment. There are
- 33:14four options, and it's a really cool
- 33:16thing. Incidentally, a mod has already
- 33:18been released that makes dynamic
- 33:20camouflage available for all armor in
- 33:21the game. It's certainly not the same
- 33:24as a complete repaint, but I hope it
- 33:26comes back soon, if it hasn't already.
- 33:28A sniper rifle with heavy armor
- 33:30penetration has been added to the
- 33:32primary weapon slot. And yes, let's say
- 33:35this right away. And as for the
- 33:37rawheads, how can that be? Who does
- 33:39that? You start the Warbond trailer
- 33:41with the rifle one-shotting the Hulk in
- 33:43the eye. And you know, I have no
- 33:45complaints, or rather, wouldn't have
- 33:48any complaints, that it's not true,
- 33:50because the rifle—let me just call
- 33:52the R40 target-focused rifle a
- 33:54bolt-action rifle. Okay? Target-focused
- 33:57is too complicated. In short, I have no
- 33:59complaints about the bolt-action rifle
- 34:01not doing that. My complaint is that
- 34:03you showed it in the trailer. It's a
- 34:05betrayal of expectations. It's simply
- 34:06something that could have been avoided.
- 34:09I understand that your marketing people
- 34:10were sitting there and saying, "Oh, how
- 34:12cool would it be if we showed a
- 34:13one-shot to the eye of Hulk with a
- 34:14weapon that's in the primary slot in
- 34:16the trailer? But you could have done it
- 34:18differently. You could have played with
- 34:20it." Let's say, the first shot. The
- 34:23rifle didn't one-shot Hulk. Hulk turned
- 34:26. You showed an important feature of
- 34:27the rifle. It doesn't always
- 34:29immediately aggro the enemy it killed.
- 34:31And this is despite the fact that it
- 34:32doesn't have a silencer, by the way.
- 34:34But if you shoot from a distance, the
- 34:36enemy will often turn towards you, but
- 34:37won't start shooting back, which allows
- 34:39for a second shot if you're shooting at
- 34:41a stealth player from afar. So, okay.
- 34:43The rifle fired the first shot. Hulk
- 34:46turned, and a second Hell Marine
- 34:48appeared with a new emote. Shoot! He
- 34:51made this gesture. A second shot from
- 34:53this rifle is fired. Hulk falls with a
- 34:55broken head. That's it. Why didn't you
- 34:58do that? Why? Why this deception? This
- 35:01is just crap that I hope won't happen
- 35:03again. It's ugly. However, the rifle
- 35:05itself is excellent. Yes. It's worse
- 35:08than any sniper weapon in the third
- 35:10slot. It's worse than the anti-material
- 35:12rifle, it's worse than the Apex, and
- 35:13worse than the New One. And yes, you
- 35:16have to shoot for weak spots, but at
- 35:18the same time, Bug Warriors are
- 35:19one-shot, Bug Hunters are one-shot, and
- 35:22Pukemon are one-shot. All this if you
- 35:24shoot for the head: Alpha Commanders-
- 35:26two headshots. Automaton Destroyers-one
- 35:29headshot. Regular warriors-one shot
- 35:32anywhere. The Cozhuk Scavenger, by the
- 35:34way, is also one shot anywhere. On
- 35:35Illuminati zombies, a shot to the body
- 35:37or headshot. Moreover, the projectile
- 35:39can penetrate multiple targets. If
- 35:42you're shooting at a crowd of light
- 35:43enemies, you'll often find that a shot
- 35:45kills not just one enemy, but several.
- 35:48But this rifle really shines if you're
- 35:51a skilled marksman and know how to keep
- 35:53your distance. On automatons, it's a
- 35:56real joy to knock out hulks in two
- 35:58shots. The automatons' flying ships and
- 36:00gunships fly off in two shots while in
- 36:02the engine. It's absolutely fantastic.
- 36:04In my opinion, it's best for rifles
- 36:06that are in the primary slot. Right now
- 36:08, the bolt action rifle is the best
- 36:09weapon for knocking down gunships. On
- 36:11beetles, I've already listed the
- 36:13options—you can take out anyone from
- 36:14a distance. And you'd think you
- 36:17wouldn't want to take this rifle into a
- 36:19big fight. You'd think if you take this
- 36:23sniper rifle, you wouldn't go into
- 36:26close combat. But let's take it against
- 36:29factions that are famous for forcing
- 36:31close combat. Illuminati vote thieves.
- 36:35Remember how we praised the bolt pistol
- 36:37for how two shots to the head of a
- 36:38pyramid head knocks it down, and the
- 36:40third shot finishes it off. Well, this
- 36:43rifle does the same thing. This rifle
- 36:45allows you to simply annihilate
- 36:47pyramids of heads in batches. Four
- 36:49shots to the joint of a reaper.
- 36:51Unfortunately, I didn't test this rifle
- 36:53on egg twisters, like the rest of
- 36:55Warbon, because they weren't on the map
- 36:56, and the developers cut the mods. I
- 36:58can't even change the spawn for myself
- 37:01yet. But I'm sure it will be perfect
- 37:04against mechs, too, because you can
- 37:05shoot the joint and take out a mech
- 37:07from a distance in a few shots. And in
- 37:10close combat, it's actually not that
- 37:12bad. If you know how to shoot in third
- 37:14person, that is, without aiming down
- 37:16the sights, then this is a pretty good
- 37:18shotgun, as long as you hit the heads.
- 37:20And just look at the barrels. It's
- 37:22entirely possible. An excellent,
- 37:24excellent barrel, absolutely
- 37:26magnificent. It's probably now either
- 37:28one of my favorites, or my favorite
- 37:30ever. And I've had the best sniper
- 37:31performance of my life with this rifle.
- 37:34I'm not a particularly good marksman,
- 37:36but this rifle, firstly, somehow
- 37:38magically makes me hit heads, and
- 37:40secondly, it gives me incredible
- 37:43positive emotions. And it's great, this
- 37:45rifle goes well with the mine. And a
- 37:47lot of people on the internet have
- 37:49already hated the snare mine. It's a
- 37:51stun mine. You throw it, and it spreads
- 37:54a mini minefield around itself, which
- 37:56stuns mines with low damage. There's
- 37:59only 50 units. They even damage the
- 38:01Hell Marine, okay, but they don't
- 38:03really kill. And this, unfortunately,
- 38:05is another example of poor work. These
- 38:07mines can be air-launched. That is, you
- 38:09threw them around no one at all. No one
- 38:11walked on them. They explode on their
- 38:13own. I don't know, they can trigger
- 38:14each other. Moreover, if you throw them
- 38:16directly at the enemy's feet, you won't
- 38:18be able to immediately stop the beetles
- 38:20chasing you. Or whoever is chasing you.
- 38:22It takes time for the mini to scatter
- 38:25its little minions. However, I love
- 38:28positioning in Hievers 2. I'm a real
- 38:30fan. And this mine has several
- 38:33interesting uses. Firstly, if a crowd
- 38:35is chasing you, for example, an entire
- 38:37breach, you can stun them for a short
- 38:39time. Moreover, the mines will stop
- 38:41anyone who is even slightly susceptible
- 38:42to stun. The largest enemies
- 38:44susceptible to stun are Hulks, Chargers
- 38:47on beetles, and Pyramidheads and
- 38:49Meatballs on Illuminati. The mines will
- 38:52stop all of them. And, of course, this
- 38:55fits in with the sniper playstyle. You
- 38:58can block approaches to yourself, and
- 39:00this way the enemies won't get there
- 39:02right away, but you can stun entire
- 39:03crowds if you throw these mines in
- 39:05advance. And this is actually very
- 39:08convenient and really helps your
- 39:09comrades. It combines really well with
- 39:11the Maxin. It combines really well with
- 39:14turrets. It's really cool on wall
- 39:17missions, when you're literally mining
- 39:19passages very quickly, because you're
- 39:21given five mines. And you can stop a
- 39:23very dangerous breakthrough this way.
- 39:26And during extraction, an entire squad
- 39:28of Hell Marines is just right in a
- 39:30situation where you're at a point with
- 39:32several passages to it, and you need to
- 39:34mine those passages. This way, enemy
- 39:36patrols, who usually attack from
- 39:38different sides, won't be able to reach
- 39:39you quickly, and you'll definitely
- 39:41notice them because the mines explode
- 39:42very loudly. In short, it's a very,
- 39:45very niche grenade, but it's suitable
- 39:48for a sniper, and it has its uses. I
- 39:50really liked it. Although, yes, most
- 39:53people won't like it, because a grenade
- 39:55with kills is also, in principle, a
- 39:57fair position, I don't criticize. On
- 39:59the second page of Warbond, we
- 40:01encounter another armor set and the
- 40:03Apex, aka the Apogee, an armor-piercing
- 40:05autocannon. Its catch is that it
- 40:08doesn't have explosive damage, meaning
- 40:10it won't open the garages where Super
- 40:12Credits are stored. And the Apex is yet
- 40:14another example of poor work. I don't
- 40:17know how they could have a bug in a
- 40:19rifle that specializes in shooting
- 40:21heavy enemies from a distance, where
- 40:24the damage drops off sharply at range.
- 40:28Those who have played with the Apex, I
- 40:29think, understand what I'm talking
- 40:31about, because when you shoot at an
- 40:32enemy, you can't even properly
- 40:33calculate how many shots it takes for
- 40:35them to die. Because at one range they
- 40:38die, with a certain number of shots the
- 40:40range slightly increases by five meters
- 40:42, everything is now one shot longer,
- 40:44and so on. But the paradox of the Apex
- 40:47is that even in this state, it's
- 40:48unplayable. Pardon my French.
- 40:51Warstrider, the jointed legs are one
- 40:54shot. A Titan, any Titan, takes two
- 40:57headshots. A Tiftelka takes three. Two
- 41:00shots to the pyramid's head. One shot
- 41:02to the Hulk's head, two anywhere. It
- 41:05has anti-tank armor penetration, which
- 41:07means it can destroy automaton
- 41:09factories. And no matter where you
- 41:11shoot, it destroys tanks, it destroys
- 41:13connecting rod factories. And again,
- 41:15now, due to the annoying abundance, the
- 41:17number of shots required to destroy one
- 41:19varies. But the closer the enemies get
- 41:21to you, the fewer shots it takes. And
- 41:23it's an incredibly enjoyable rifle. Yes
- 41:25, you waste both a backpack slot and a
- 41:27strategist weapon slot, but it really
- 41:29makes you feel its power. It really
- 41:32lets you take out heavy enemies. Oh,
- 41:34and automaton flyers, of course, can be
- 41:36one-shot in the engine. And I'm sure
- 41:39that when the rifle is repaired,
- 41:40they'll be one-shot anywhere.
- 41:43Illuminati ships, by the way, can be
- 41:44destroyed too. Well, brilliant.
- 41:46Excellent, I liked it. And yes, I think
- 41:48everyone already knows that you have to
- 41:50shoot the Apex while sitting or prone,
- 41:52because if you shoot standing, you'll
- 41:54be knocked back, and if you fire
- 41:56several shots standing in a row, you'll
- 41:58break your arm. It's a cool feature
- 42:00that compensates for the Apex's
- 42:02incredible lethality. On the third page
- 42:04of the Warbond, we're greeted by two
- 42:06more weapons. These are the Nova
- 42:08strategist laser sniper rifle and the
- 42:10Smoke submachine gun, which goes in the
- 42:12secondary weapon slot. Let's talk about
- 42:14the Nova. It's basically like a healthy
- 42:17person's railgun. It also has no
- 42:19explosive damage. That means you'll
- 42:21have to open the garages somehow else.
- 42:23But the fifth anti-tank armor
- 42:25penetration is silent shots. Yes,
- 42:28that's a feature of laser weapons. They
- 42:30have silent shots, but at the same time
- 42:32, they have a noisy projectile. Hulks
- 42:33are one-shot in the eye. Warrider is
- 42:35also one-shot in the eye, by the way.
- 42:38The weak spot is right here, in the
- 42:39upper eye. Large automaton turrets are
- 42:42one-shot. Small automaton turrets are
- 42:44one-shot anywhere. The Automaton
- 42:46Factory falls in three shots. The only
- 42:49seemingly not-so-minor drawback, but a
- 42:51new balancing feature, is that you have
- 42:54to let it cool down before each shot.
- 42:57However, it cools down very slightly,
- 42:59literally a second and a half. The
- 43:01Inova proves itself as an excellent
- 43:03all-around weapon on the automaton
- 43:05front. It also proves itself as an
- 43:07excellent anti-tank weapon on the
- 43:08beetle front. Of course, two shots to
- 43:10the head of a Titan, and any spore one
- 43:12too. And it's dead. One shot to the
- 43:15mask of the Impaler when it's immersed
- 43:17its tentacles. Two shots to the head of
- 43:19the Charger. And it's only not
- 43:20particularly effective on Illuminati.
- 43:22Although one shot will knock off the
- 43:24mask of a Pyramid Head. As a rule, two
- 43:26shots are required to the leg joint of
- 43:28a Reaper. On Otzratorela, everyone can
- 43:30be one-shot, but only if you hit the
- 43:31head. It's their Illuminati specialty.
- 43:34If you hit the body, the first shot
- 43:35will only knock off armor. So, the
- 43:37performance will be worse than on
- 43:39automotos and beetles, but still decent
- 43:41. It's great for team missions because
- 43:44it's a laser weapon; it has no ammo,
- 43:46which is one of the main problems in
- 43:48team missions. It has the best scope in
- 43:51the game. It's a combat scope with 4x
- 43:53zoom. Incidentally, for some reason, I
- 43:55find it comfortable to shoot with this
- 43:57scope, but in third-person mode—I
- 43:59don't know why, maybe it's just my own
- 44:01peculiarity—I'm completely off-target
- 44:03with the Nova. But I don't think it's
- 44:04the weapon itself, but rather that my
- 44:06poor shooting skills return when I
- 44:07don't use the scope. The damage per
- 44:09shot doesn't change with distance. It's
- 44:11a laser weapon, after all. And on snowy
- 44:13planets, the Nova cools down much
- 44:15faster. Overall, it's lovely, lovely. I
- 44:17really liked the Nova. I also liked the
- 44:20Smoke pistol. It's the last thing
- 44:23Arbond has, aside from cosmetics. It'd
- 44:25seem like another pistol with light
- 44:27armor penetration. Why would we need it
- 44:30? But its high damage makes it a very
- 44:33interesting alternative. You can set it
- 44:36to single-shot mode by holding down the
- 44:38reload button. And on assault rifles,
- 44:41you essentially get a barrel that can
- 44:43take out a Destroyer in the eye with
- 44:45two shots, with virtually no recoil, in
- 44:48single-shot mode, and often one-shot
- 44:50them, or whatever. Two shots will be
- 44:52needed for smaller soldiers. In
- 44:54full-auto mode, the Smoke pistol
- 44:56doesn't have a particularly impressive
- 44:58rate of fire. It's quite low, but the
- 45:00recoil is reasonable. And it does its
- 45:03job quite well, which is finishing off
- 45:05those who break through to you in close
- 45:07combat. Of course, you can fire while
- 45:10running. And I'd say it's a great
- 45:12addition to a sniper build. Overall, if
- 45:15you're taking something heavy, like a
- 45:17Spewer in your primary slot, or
- 45:19something anti-tank or sniper in your
- 45:20third slot, then the Smoke Gun will be
- 45:22a great fit for your pistol. I highly
- 45:25recommend trying it out and playing
- 45:27around with the firing modes. It's a
- 45:29shame the armor penetration isn't
- 45:31average, but then again, it doesn't
- 45:33really need it, since its intended
- 45:35purpose is either to target weak spots
- 45:37on automatons or finish off bugs and
- 45:39zombies that run into you in close
- 45:41combat. And for that, the damage is
- 45:43high enough, and almost everyone who
- 45:45gets to you will have light armor or no
- 45:47armor at all. Overall, I really liked
- 45:50the Warband, despite a fair amount of
- 45:52poor quality. Oh, and I haven't
- 45:54mentioned one thing yet. I think you've
- 45:56noticed that the animation of drawing
- 45:58the new one from his shoulder and
- 45:59putting it back from behind his
- 46:01shoulder is kind of weird. It's
- 46:03Quasar's animation, actually, but it
- 46:05doesn't fit. Novi, what is that? Have
- 46:08you seen how he folds it? The Kakat
- 46:09Marine puts it behind his shoulder.
- 46:11It's cringe. Another hack job for the
- 46:14Aroheads. However, the best thing I did
- 46:16with this Warbond, okay, I did two good
- 46:18things. The first is the challenge.
- 46:21It's called Iron Hellverver. Yeah,
- 46:23almost an iron kyron. Hell Marine. The
- 46:26idea is that you drop into a mission
- 46:28without stgems. And a sniper rifle with
- 46:30heavy armor penetration in the primary
- 46:32slot is incredibly well suited for this
- 46:34. And secondly, I watched a video from
- 46:36Letogo where he said that the sniper
- 46:38Warbond isn't particularly suitable for
- 46:40active combat. And that's true, I can't
- 46:42argue with that. But the best emotions
- 46:45I had were actually going into open
- 46:47combat with a loadout and a sniper
- 46:48Warbond. Yes, you have to manage your
- 46:51range very tightly and position
- 46:52yourself correctly. You have to aim for
- 46:55heads very accurately and often. You
- 46:57have to use close combat when the bugs
- 46:59finally reach you and switch between
- 47:01weapons in time. But if you have
- 47:03turrets that hold the front and pick
- 47:05off heavy enemies from behind the
- 47:07turrets with weapons with anti-tank
- 47:09armor penetration, and pick off light
- 47:11and medium enemies with a sniper rifle,
- 47:13finishing off those who managed to run
- 47:15past the turrets from the haze—well,
- 47:17that's fantastic. And I really enjoyed
- 47:19doing that on any faction. I highly
- 47:22recommend you try it, so for me, this
- 47:24Warbond is probably a tier one weapon.
- 47:27Yes, it's very niche, and if I were
- 47:29being objective, I'd put it in the AR,
- 47:31partly because it's not only shoddy but
- 47:33also extremely sparse in terms of
- 47:34content, as there are no vehicle
- 47:36cosmetics in Arbond. Although, why?
- 47:39Imagine, covering vehicles with all
- 47:41sorts of camouflage nets would be cool,
- 47:43in my opinion, but for me, this is an
- 47:45S-tier. And I highly recommend it to
- 47:47anyone who likes to shoot accurately.
- 47:49It's exactly what you need. And as an
- 47:51addition to the variety of weapons
- 47:53already in the game, the sniper rifles
- 47:55that are already there, thanks to their
- 47:58heavy and anti-tank armor penetration,
- 48:00combine perfectly with the huge variety
- 48:02of weapons that already exist. So, for
- 48:05me, an S-tier is an S-tier. That's cool
- 48:08. And finally, a few more words about
- 48:11mods. I deliberately put this section
- 48:13at the end because it causes a lot of
- 48:15fights. On the one hand, I like it. I
- 48:18love discussions, I love exchanging
- 48:20opinions, I love when people disagree
- 48:22with me, sincerely disagree, and not
- 48:24just for the sake of arguing. And for
- 48:27me, it was very surprising to find
- 48:29myself on the side that defends
- 48:30cheaters. Although that's not entirely
- 48:32true, but let's take things one by one.
- 48:34First, I want to talk about my feelings
- 48:37about RHAD Game Studios. In one of the
- 48:39videos, I already said that they are
- 48:41like an old dumbass friend to me. Again
- 48:43, forgive my French, but this word
- 48:45describes the relationship perfectly.
- 48:47You love your friend. You've been
- 48:50through so much with them, and they've
- 48:52given you so much, well, let's use the
- 48:53word "content," and you're not just not
- 48:55ready, you don't want to give them up.
- 48:58Firstly, what are they like without you
- 48:59, secondly, what are you like without
- 49:00them, and thirdly, they're fun. I
- 49:02consider Rawheads to be creative,
- 49:04talented people who, thanks to their
- 49:07vision, created a wonderful game that,
- 49:09three years later, is still alive and
- 49:12kicking and quite popular. But that
- 49:15vision, and I don't know if it's their
- 49:17personality or their relationship with
- 49:19Sony, I don't know. But something
- 49:21compels Rawheads to regularly make
- 49:24strange decisions. Ultimately, my
- 49:26feelings about Rawheads are, well,
- 49:28mixed. I criticize them for decisions
- 49:30that I think are bad. I praise them for
- 49:32decisions that I think are good. Let me
- 49:34say, for the sake of balance, that
- 49:36recently, given Rawheads 'unpopular
- 49:37decisions, it's become fashionable to
- 49:39criticize them for everything. I've
- 49:41often heard, both in the comments and
- 49:43from friends, the phrase "oh, thanks
- 49:44for not nerfing." People, Rawheads
- 49:46haven't nerfed anything en masse for
- 49:48two years now, since the game's first
- 49:50summer. The mass nerfs have stopped.
- 49:52Calm down, there won't be any mass
- 49:53nerfs. That's it, Nova won't be nerfed,
- 49:56Apex will be fixed. There will be no
- 49:58nerfs. But controversial decisions,
- 50:00unfortunately, do and will continue to
- 50:02exist, and I will express my opinion on
- 50:03them because I can. I can and I will.
- 50:07And this phrase "I can and I will"
- 50:08seems to me key to understanding the
- 50:10conflict around Hivers 2 mods. Let's
- 50:13review the basics a bit. We have Steam,
- 50:16the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store,
- 50:18and there's a group of developers in
- 50:20Sweden who are making sure that HDERS 2
- 50:23is available in all stores. We all got
- 50:25a download button, then a "play" button
- 50:27, and we could download the game. These
- 50:30people, okay, we don't really care
- 50:32legally who owns the rights to HDI or
- 50:34how many rights Sony has. It's
- 50:37unimportant. These specific people in
- 50:39Sweden actually own the game. If they
- 50:41want to change something, they will.
- 50:44For example, the annoying bouncing
- 50:46balls in Strategist. After reviewing
- 50:48the mods, I realized it wasn't a bug,
- 50:50it was a feature. The mod that fixes
- 50:52the bounce of Strategist balls weighs
- 50:54several kilobytes. It's a change to a
- 50:56single line of code. The fact that
- 50:58Strategist balls occasionally bounce,
- 51:00even though you seemingly threw them
- 51:02just fine, isn't a feature, it's the
- 51:04developers' vision. And the developers,
- 51:06based on their vision, can and will do
- 51:08whatever they want with the game. It's
- 51:11just a fact. If they want to make a
- 51:13tank with a rotating turret, they will;
- 51:15if they don't, they won't. And right
- 51:17now, we don't care whether that's good
- 51:18or bad. Well, it's just a fact. And it
- 51:21would seem that the same is true:
- 51:22players have only two options. They can
- 51:25either go along with the game, that is,
- 51:27accept the developers 'vision, or, if
- 51:29players don't like it, they can give up
- 51:31and stop playing. However, that's not
- 51:34the case. Let's ignore the fact that
- 51:35review bombing influences the
- 51:37developers, and that Hivivers 2 is
- 51:39changing under pressure from players.
- 51:40That's not what matters to us right now
- 51:42. What matters is that Hell Divers 2 is
- 51:44out on PC and that mods exist. And
- 51:46besides the option to tweak or stop
- 51:48playing, there's a third option. It's
- 51:51either create a mod or find one that
- 51:53changes the game the way you want.
- 51:56That's a fact, too. And please, don't
- 51:58go on about license agreements that
- 52:00prohibit tampering with the game's code
- 52:02, or about how it's an online game and
- 52:04you can't change anything online,
- 52:05blah-blah-blah—none of that matters.
- 52:09You can't run a red light either. And
- 52:12you can't pirate, for example, the
- 52:13Adobe Premiere editing program. But
- 52:15somehow it just so happens that I have
- 52:18an unlicensed Adobe Premiere and use it
- 52:20to edit my videos, while right next to
- 52:22it is an equally unlicensed Photoshop.
- 52:24It's a fact. Whether it's good or bad
- 52:27that players can manipulate the game
- 52:29however they want is irrelevant. And so
- 52:32we live in a world where there are
- 52:35multiple versions of the game on PC.
- 52:37Moreover, it's possible to customize
- 52:39the game to suit your needs. Not just
- 52:41visually, but in general, however you
- 52:43want. And just as the developers want
- 52:45and will do with the game and change it
- 52:47however they want, PC players will do
- 52:49the same, changing the game however
- 52:51they want, because they can and will.
- 52:54That's just a fact. My criticism of
- 52:56Hiivers 2 and the HDERS 2 developers is
- 52:58how they're handling this situation,
- 53:00because there is, in my opinion, the
- 53:02most stupid solution. That stupid
- 53:04solution is what the developers have
- 53:06done now. They changed the anti-cheat,
- 53:09which is why many players who didn't
- 53:11even use mods can't launch the game. I
- 53:14have a friend who plays on a laptop,
- 53:16and his anti-cheat is aggravated by an
- 53:18ASUS update. And yes, for some people
- 53:20the game worked better, but for others
- 53:22it stopped launching altogether. Again,
- 53:24situations vary. The latest game update
- 53:27disabled all mods and would have
- 53:29disabled them even without the new
- 53:31anti-cheat. But it's precisely because
- 53:33of the new anti-cheat that mod
- 53:35developers can't update them quickly
- 53:36and on time. Well, some can, I'll tell
- 53:39you about that now. But for many, it's
- 53:41a barrier. The mod for the improved P
- 53:44interface, for example, won't be
- 53:45updated precisely because of the new
- 53:47anti-cheat. And I want to reiterate the
- 53:49statistics again. Hellivers 2 is played
- 53:52by an average of 60 players per day, of
- 53:54which about 45 are on computers. So,
- 53:56Hellivers 2's main audience, the core
- 53:59audience, is PC gamers. Approximately
- 54:0136 out of 45,000 players. According to
- 54:04the statistics, Hell Divers 2 Arsenal
- 54:06is a mod manager. And this mod manager
- 54:08isn't the only one you can use; there
- 54:10are others. But let's take the Arsenal
- 54:12statistics specifically. So, out of
- 54:1445,36, they play with mods. So you
- 54:18release an update that's a bummer for
- 54:21your core audience, the one hooked on
- 54:24mods and who plays the most, in part
- 54:27because they can customize the game.
- 54:31But you make important decisions after
- 54:33banging your head against the wall, or
- 54:35how it works in Sweden, I don't
- 54:36understand. And yet, mind you, this is
- 54:39supposedly an action aimed at
- 54:41protecting the game. It doesn't
- 54:43actually protect the game. I promised
- 54:45to show you footage of a man firing a
- 54:47minigun while walking. Here it is. Here
- 54:50it is, please. The footage was taken on
- 54:53October 23rd, three days after the new
- 54:56anti-cheat went live. People on YouTube
- 54:59say it took people 30 hours to bypass
- 55:02it. And I know what kind of mod it is.
- 55:04And this mod, just like before, allows
- 55:05you to tweak the numbers to whatever
- 55:07you want. So, the people who replaced
- 55:09their pistol shots with 500mm calibers
- 55:11are still here. But is cheating really
- 55:15the problem? In my opinion, no. Look,
- 55:18there are two people. One of them, by
- 55:20the way, is me. I have friends with
- 55:22whom I play Hold Divers 2. I almost
- 55:24never play with randoms in Hiivs 2. And
- 55:26we essentially rebalance ourselves with
- 55:28mods. Yes, by the way, the line between
- 55:30cheats and mods has blurred. There are
- 55:32as many opinions here as there are
- 55:33people. Pilot VRN, aka the Ministry of
- 55:35Truth. By the way, subscribe to the
- 55:37channel. The guy makes cool news videos
- 55:39and shorts about Hold Divers 2. Link in
- 55:41the description. So, Pilot VR said
- 55:43something very correct, that recently
- 55:46the line between a cheat and a mod has
- 55:48blurred. Some people think that if your
- 55:51Strategim balls always stick and work
- 55:52fine, you're already a cheater and have
- 55:54already gained an advantage in the game
- 55:56. Oh, what a bad person. And some
- 55:59people don't think it's a cheat, but
- 56:00simply a good change to the game. Oh
- 56:02well, it doesn't matter to us. So,
- 56:04there's me, who, along with some
- 56:06friends, rebalanced the game. A tank
- 56:09with a rotating turret and a bunch of
- 56:10life-improving mods like the sticky
- 56:12balls of the Strategists. That's all on
- 56:14the one hand. On the other hand, the
- 56:16enemy spawn changes are, of course,
- 56:18more powerful. That means more enemies
- 56:20spawn, but we fight in better
- 56:22conditions and with more powerful
- 56:24weapons. And yet, we play with each
- 56:26other. That means we don't mess with
- 56:28randoms. We're not interested in that,
- 56:29because if we mess with randoms, the
- 56:31game has a higher chance of crashing,
- 56:33at the very least. And, basically, we
- 56:34won't be able to play normally. And
- 56:36we've gathered to have a blast, to play
- 56:39the most brutal battle possible. And
- 56:41what's the point? You won't even know
- 56:44about it unless I tell you. No one
- 56:46except those we play with will know. We
- 56:48don't use supercredits, we don't use
- 56:50samples, we don't get involved in the
- 56:51general galactic war. And believe me,
- 56:53because we have enhanced spawn rates,
- 56:55we spend a full 40 minutes on a mission
- 56:57. That is, we don't even burden the
- 56:58missions. It's not like we complete
- 56:59them faster than anyone else. And of
- 57:01course, we, okay, made it so we could
- 57:03fire 500mm rounds from regular guns a
- 57:05couple of times, but we usually don't
- 57:07do that, because what's the point,
- 57:09right? If we came to play a good
- 57:11meat-and-potato fight, we don't need
- 57:12weapons that will skip that
- 57:14meat-and-potato fight at all. We don't
- 57:16need uber-mega superguns at all. No, we
- 57:19need guns that match our vision of
- 57:21beauty. I already told you, yes, I gave
- 57:23my Dominator heavy armor penetration,
- 57:25but reduced the rate of fire, because I
- 57:27think it will be better balanced that
- 57:29way. I play with this Dominator. Okay,
- 57:31tough. I'm a cheater, right? And now
- 57:33I've broken everyone's game simply
- 57:34because you found out such a thing
- 57:36exists. And there's another guy who
- 57:38does the same thing with numbers. He's
- 57:41cheated himself, but he also has
- 57:44unlimited stratagems, and he really
- 57:46does fire 500s. But the key difference
- 57:50is that he's messing with other players
- 57:51. So, this guy is playing in a random
- 57:54lobby. And look what happens. We both
- 57:56use mods, but we use them differently.
- 57:58I'm not bothering anyone. And this guy,
- 58:00well, he's not a cheater, he's an
- 58:02[ __ ]. Please don't confuse me. And
- 58:04he's an [ __ ] not because he uses
- 58:05cheats, but because he's going to break
- 58:07other people's games. And if he doesn't
- 58:09have cheats, then believe me, this guy
- 58:11will kill you for fun before boarding
- 58:13the shuttle, he'll kick you before
- 58:15boarding the shuttle, he'll kick you if
- 58:17you're not carrying a metal weapon.
- 58:19It's these idiots. And is the problem
- 58:21really with mods, and not with [ __ ]
- 58:24? In my opinion, it's precisely the
- 58:26latter: [ __ ] who are used to
- 58:28ruining the game for others, which is
- 58:29completely at odds with the spirit of
- 58:31HLDayers. And, firstly, it's already
- 58:34possible to fight [ __ ]. The
- 58:36developers long ago made it so that if
- 58:38you get kicked from a group, you stay
- 58:40in it. Yes, essentially, it's not you
- 58:42who gets kicked; it's everyone else who
- 58:44gets kicked from your group, and you
- 58:45become the host. This was done
- 58:47specifically so that it would be
- 58:49pointless to kick someone from your
- 58:52group right before it ends. Because
- 58:54before, again, maybe there are newbies,
- 58:56maybe they don't remember, before there
- 58:59were people who would collect samples
- 59:01for the entire group, work together,
- 59:03complete a mission, and then go and
- 59:05kick you right before it ends. That
- 59:07tool has been cut, and this is an
- 59:09example of how to fight [ __ ]. And
- 59:10it would seem that the new anti-cheat
- 59:12is also an example of fighting [ __ ]
- 59:14. [ __ ] who, for example, inflate
- 59:16galactic orders and execute them ahead
- 59:18of schedule thanks to cheats. That's
- 59:20[ __ ] behavior. Don't do that.
- 59:22However, so far I haven't seen a single
- 59:25bastard punished for doing that. I saw
- 59:28that the developers simply went and
- 59:30angered their core audience and
- 59:31provoked a new review bombing because
- 59:33they took a toy away from a child. This
- 59:36particular solution seems incredibly
- 59:37stupid to me, because it doesn't solve
- 59:39the problem; it just makes everyone
- 59:41angry. What's funny is that even those
- 59:43who always played without mods are
- 59:45angry, but they're already angry at the
- 59:46reaction of those who played with mods,
- 59:48like they're getting angry in return,
- 59:49defending the Aroheads. It would seem
- 59:53that you could simply create two types
- 59:55of lobbies: with and without mods, and
- 59:57you could simply make it so that you
- 59:59have community-approved mods and
- 1:00:01unapproved mods. Why can the developers
- 1:00:05of DRG, or De Galactica, do this, but
- 1:00:07you Swedes can't? Funny thing is,
- 1:00:09separate lobbies are already being
- 1:00:11prepared. Just guess what, it's not the
- 1:00:13developers doing this, but the modders
- 1:00:16themselves. Yes, the well-known Iron
- 1:00:19Sй, who feeds us all with leaks about
- 1:00:22Hiivs 2, is preparing the ability to
- 1:00:25run Hellivers 2 without an anti-cheat
- 1:00:27on his servers. Wow, was that even
- 1:00:31possible? Why can't the anti-cheat's
- 1:00:34impact be limited to its impact on the
- 1:00:36galactic war? We already have tools to
- 1:00:38combat [ __ ] who come into your
- 1:00:40lobby and ruin your game by picking up
- 1:00:42super-mega-powerful weapons and other
- 1:00:45inflated numbers. Kick the [ __ ] and
- 1:00:47that's it. Go to the description of my
- 1:00:49video, there's a link to the Hellivers
- 1:00:512 Discord server. Find someone willing
- 1:00:54to play without mods, add them as a
- 1:00:56friend, and just play from time to time
- 1:00:58. That's it. And kick anyone who
- 1:00:59interferes with your gameplay. That's
- 1:01:01it. And if you introduce a new
- 1:01:03anti-cheat, well, explain that we're at
- 1:01:05galactic war, we have a shared game,
- 1:01:08and we don't want it ruined the way it
- 1:01:10was in Cyberstan. So now we'll be
- 1:01:13monitoring how samples, supercredits,
- 1:01:15and so on are inflated. And if
- 1:01:19everything gets inflated above a
- 1:01:20certain number, that's it, the account
- 1:01:22of the person who got that many samples
- 1:01:25will be banned. That's it. Why can't we
- 1:01:29introduce a clear policy on mods? Why
- 1:01:33throw the baby out with the bathwater,
- 1:01:35why scare the entire player community,
- 1:01:38why throw a can of gasoline at people
- 1:01:40who are already ready to jump on any
- 1:01:43negative changes and bomb the game at
- 1:01:45any opportunity, when it could have
- 1:01:48been done properly, and it's not that
- 1:01:50hard. Just hire three interns, [ __ ].
- 1:01:53Give them some kind of salary that's
- 1:01:56reasonable by Swedish standards. And
- 1:01:59let them not tinker with mods. And let
- 1:02:01you have mods that are approved in the
- 1:02:03lobby for people with mods, so they
- 1:02:05don't overlap. That's all. But no,
- 1:02:07we're Arowheads, we're not acting
- 1:02:09appropriately, it's not working for us.
- 1:02:11Maybe Soini really forced them, I don't
- 1:02:13know. And ultimately, my criticism
- 1:02:15isn't that Arowheads are defending the
- 1:02:17game. No, let them defend it. Then
- 1:02:19again, who's going to stop them? But,
- 1:02:22unfortunately, we can't stop them from
- 1:02:24doing idiotic things that will simply
- 1:02:26anger players and ruin the game. After
- 1:02:29all, it's not the mods that are killing
- 1:02:31the game, it's the developers who are
- 1:02:33angering the community and doing
- 1:02:35everything they can to make people quit
- 1:02:37. Maybe you should think about
- 1:02:39something else? Look, I'm playing
- 1:02:40H-Divers 2. I'm the target audience.
- 1:02:43I'm even willing to pay some money.
- 1:02:45Maybe instead of making a new
- 1:02:47anti-cheat, you could create some kind
- 1:02:50of cosmetic pack that I'll buy. That
- 1:02:52would also cause an uproar, because oh
- 1:02:54no, the developers decided to modify
- 1:02:55the game. But at least it would be
- 1:02:58clear why. At least the plan would be
- 1:03:00clear. Here, according to the message
- 1:03:02the developers published on Steam, I
- 1:03:04read it in the previous video, it's
- 1:03:05completely unclear what you approve of,
- 1:03:07what you don't approve of, or what will
- 1:03:08happen next. Nothing is clear. Just a
- 1:03:11new anti-cheat with City Bibu. Well,
- 1:03:12cool, cool. So, we'll win. It's not
- 1:03:14really clear who and what, but we will
- 1:03:16definitely win. This is the path to a
- 1:03:18bright future. Yeah, yeah, damn, sorry,
- 1:03:21I went off the rails. Anyway,
- 1:03:24everything would have been fine. I
- 1:03:26really liked Warbon. I'm really looking
- 1:03:28forward to freedom day. I'm happy with
- 1:03:30the patch. But damn, arowheads will
- 1:03:33remain arowheads and always find some
- 1:03:36new way to screw with us. I don't know,
- 1:03:39I really have two theories. Either
- 1:03:41they're all connected and Sony is
- 1:03:43beating them up and forcing them to do
- 1:03:45crap so the Arowheads fit in with the
- 1:03:48megacorporation's atmosphere. Or they
- 1:03:50really do have a tradition of banging
- 1:03:51their heads against the wall on
- 1:03:52Saturdays and then making important
- 1:03:54decisions. And so, anything they decide
- 1:03:56on outside of Saturdays goes smoothly.
- 1:03:57They clearly design patches on Tuesdays
- 1:03:59; they have three whole days to rest
- 1:04:01their heads. But some of their heads
- 1:04:03are still buzzing, which is why balance
- 1:04:05changes can be weird. I'm sure Warbonds
- 1:04:07are designed on Thursdays. So, the
- 1:04:10hackwork arises because they're afraid
- 1:04:11of Saturdays, afraid of this tradition
- 1:04:13of banging their heads against the wall
- 1:04:14. And because of this, for example,
- 1:04:17they forget to make separate animations
- 1:04:18for new ones. Although, then again,
- 1:04:20considering the Arowheads' love of
- 1:04:22GunPorn and the way they sweat over
- 1:04:24animations and models, well, this is
- 1:04:26just incredibly strange. What I didn't
- 1:04:30expect was that Novi wouldn't make a
- 1:04:32weapon-sheathing animation, but would
- 1:04:33simply copy Quasar's. In short,
- 1:04:37Arowhead's lore is 0.01%understood, but
- 1:04:38they still haven't learned how to
- 1:04:40communicate with players. As Gerald
- 1:04:43said, they just won't [ __ ] learn.
- 1:04:46It's really funny that, against the
- 1:04:47backdrop of everything that's happening
- 1:04:49, CD Projects are releasing additional
- 1:04:51tools for cyberpunk mods. And I want to
- 1:04:54end this video with a simple thought.
- 1:04:55As Gaben said before, if you want to
- 1:04:58fight piracy, make the service
- 1:05:00undesirable. So, I wish the Arowheads
- 1:05:03to hang this sign on their walls and
- 1:05:08think long and hard about how to make a
- 1:05:10game that makes you want to play, that
- 1:05:12makes you want to praise the developers
- 1:05:14, and that makes you want to spend
- 1:05:16money on it, not be disgusted by yet
- 1:05:18another strange decision. That's all
- 1:05:20for today. Until then, and have a good
- 1:05:22time playing Hell Divers.
