  2. 0:07that I
  3. 0:10need a wildlife
  4. 0:14[Music]
  5. 0:30thank you
  6. 0:36this is Robbie off of CD Mr Bruno's
  7. 0:41and today I have the pleasure I have the
  8. 0:45honor of having these three talented
  9. 0:48artists that are going to blow your mind
  10. 0:51I just love the way you guys make music
  11. 0:54because it's like a mix of theatrics a
  12. 0:57little bit of music a little bit of
  13. 0:58ritual but anyways before we get into
  14. 1:00all that I want to
  15. 1:05the one the only hilong
  16. 1:10thank you so much for that introduction
  17. 1:13we'll be happy to be on the show I'm so
  18. 1:16glad to have you here it's a pleasure so
  19. 1:18first things first
  20. 1:20in one moment of you guys's life that
  21. 1:23you feel like calling to do music was it
  22. 1:25by chance you were singing by yourself
  23. 1:27and you're like yo I'm good at this was
  24. 1:28it a school event or is it you went to
  25. 1:30somebody's concert and you were like I
  26. 1:32can do exactly what they're doing on
  27. 1:34stage
  28. 1:35it's three very individual stories so uh
  29. 1:38let's start with uh with Chris let me
  30. 1:41yeah yeah
  31. 1:44I think I I started playing an
  32. 1:47instrument before I learned how to speak
  33. 1:48and I'm kind of still uh working on the
  34. 1:51speaking part but uh but next to that um
  35. 1:56yeah I had music in my life all my life
  36. 1:59and I don't think I started playing
  37. 2:02music in terms of mimicking anyone on a
  38. 2:06stage anything like that I actually just
  39. 2:08did it because it became kind of my
  40. 2:10language to do so so it was something
  41. 2:12that was it's like innate it was born
  42. 2:14inside of you
  43. 2:15yeah I believe that music in many ways
  44. 2:18is a is a language that that we maybe
  45. 2:21have been lose
  46. 2:28far enough then then
  47. 2:32um you know there's a reason why certain
  48. 2:34elements in music speaks to everyone I
  49. 2:37believe it I think it's become it
  50. 2:38becomes something from a language
  51. 2:41that we all come from in a way yeah yeah
  52. 2:44that's why it's called the universal
  53. 2:46language
  54. 2:46yeah
  55. 2:48yeah it could be yeah
  56. 2:50yeah
  57. 2:52uh yeah and for me I uh discovered it
  58. 2:57when I was 11. uh somebody was playing
  59. 2:59at jembe at the Viking market and I got
  60. 3:02completely hooked on the beats and knew
  61. 3:05I just had to try to play the drums and
  62. 3:08I he was very kind the the man who
  63. 3:10played and let me play his uh his drum
  64. 3:12and I just knew how to do it which was
  65. 3:15an epic Discovery when you're 11 and you
  66. 3:18think you suck at everything and then
  67. 3:19you find something that you actually a
  68. 3:22master so it wasn't before many years
  69. 3:24later that I've discovered that I had a
  70. 3:26voice and that's a lifelong journey of
  71. 3:28getting to know that instrument uh so
  72. 3:31yeah I'm very grateful for this journey
  73. 3:32with high long and the other projects
  74. 3:35that is in my life because it's uh so
  75. 3:38many different ways of expressing
  76. 3:39yourself through through the vocals that
  77. 3:42is correct
  78. 3:43totally totally correct and that's
  79. 3:45that's insane so you started with the
  80. 3:47drums and then and what moment did you
  81. 3:49realize that you had the voice of sing
  82. 3:52uh when I was around 18 uh I was playing
  83. 3:55drums with a bunch of uh guys from
  84. 3:58Norway and they were playing drums and
  85. 4:01the singing throat singing so there were
  86. 4:03some similarities there but then they
  87. 4:06were like oh it would be so cool to have
  88. 4:07like a song song and actually I remember
  89. 4:09them saying Oh you're a girl you must
  90. 4:11know how to sing what
  91. 4:15all right but uh but I was like yeah
  92. 4:18maybe and then I tried and I found this
  93. 4:20small small little voice very low very
  94. 4:23soft but they played many drums and uh
  95. 4:27were being loud so I had to find yeah I
  96. 4:32had to find the volume button uh and uh
  97. 4:35yeah so that was uh that was fun too and
  98. 4:38a very very hard Road actually to dare
  99. 4:42to trust yourself enough to really go
  100. 4:44for it
  101. 4:45that's true especially when you think so
  102. 4:47a high tone you have to really believe
  103. 4:50in yourself because now you're gonna do
  104. 4:51well we can't Puerto Rico
  105. 4:53and you're like oh oops my bad
  106. 4:56yeah yeah yeah cool yeah and for Kai
  107. 5:00it's a completely different story and
  108. 5:01how you found music yeah well I was
  109. 5:04always exposed to music of course like
  110. 5:06already from my childhood on
  111. 5:07so my family had a
  112. 5:11uh
  113. 5:20even during the war it's uh saved took
  114. 5:25it apart with the chainsaw when he was
  115. 5:26drunk
  116. 5:30it's beautiful and like my dad and his
  117. 5:34twin brother They even played with four
  118. 5:36hands on him and everything
  119. 5:38but like when I actually like I started
  120. 5:41singing out of myself really well like
  121. 5:45after my teenage years when I started to
  122. 5:48dive into core Shamanism and to realize
  123. 5:51that the music can also be medicine and
  124. 5:55from then on until my my 30s I was
  125. 5:58convinced that you know like it was
  126. 6:01medicine but it was bitter it was not
  127. 6:03beautiful
  128. 6:05so but
  129. 6:09with the with high long and especially
  130. 6:12with Christopher's encouragement I
  131. 6:13actually uh yeah made it on stage with
  132. 6:16with my singing voice right
  133. 6:18so so you found it out later on in life
  134. 6:21then as well
  135. 6:23that it was usable for something else
  136. 6:25than like making people yeah calming
  137. 6:28people down or like
  138. 6:30you know just
  139. 6:34we always find our calling sooner or
  140. 6:38later sooner or later we will always
  141. 6:39find Our Calling yeah
  142. 6:41true true
  143. 6:42so so hilong is a German noun which in
  144. 6:46English means healing so for the fans of
  145. 6:48the Caribbean in Latin America they may
  146. 6:50not know much about the band how would
  147. 6:52you explain your music the lyrics and
  148. 6:55like what does the band stand for you
  149. 7:01you want me to take it yeah okay means
  150. 7:04healing or cure and that is basically
  151. 7:07also the uh what we stand for what what
  152. 7:12we do in the end you know because like
  153. 7:14that that is what we that is what we
  154. 7:16sign up for basically when we come
  155. 7:18somewhere to like really bring good
  156. 7:21energy
  157. 7:22to the place and like help people
  158. 7:25progressing and have a good time and
  159. 7:27like heal in a in a way right the style
  160. 7:31of the music when we had uh when we had
  161. 7:34to register the band in the in the
  162. 7:36beginning they they had all these like
  163. 7:38heavy metal Jazz rock pop all of this
  164. 7:41and then we read all through it and we
  165. 7:43realized okay nothing is is fitting
  166. 7:45right but then like the last column it
  167. 7:48says something else and then we crossed
  168. 7:51something else and then it said describe
  169. 7:54and we put that was the hard part
  170. 7:57yeah we put the words in Amplified
  171. 7:59history because like that that's also
  172. 8:02our lyrics so the majority of our lyrics
  173. 8:04they're they're either
  174. 8:06from history or describing events in
  175. 8:08history
  176. 8:10and uh yeah amplifying is that that is
  177. 8:13what we do we show up with amplifiers
  178. 8:15and everything goes through amplifiers
  179. 8:17it has to be what happens if you take a
  180. 8:20history book through an amplifier right
  181. 8:22that is that it's get it gets louder I
  182. 8:25guess exactly definitely
  183. 8:27yeah okay so
  184. 8:30so would you guys put uh others I have
  185. 8:34seen that different sites have like
  186. 8:36different like explanations some says
  187. 8:39folk some says uh Rock
  188. 8:41what of all of those do you think is the
  189. 8:44one that that expresses yourselves the
  190. 8:46best
  191. 8:47none of them
  192. 8:49[Laughter]
  193. 8:53you know you I guess you could put more
  194. 8:56words on it like we can also just say a
  195. 8:58hippie drum circled on steroids that
  196. 9:00could also be yeah a description you
  197. 9:02know it could be a shamanic workers with
  198. 9:05a cable you know but I mean uh it
  199. 9:09doesn't really matter anyway because
  200. 9:10what we are trying to achieve here is is
  201. 9:13is a sort of
  202. 9:15um what you can call in multi art form
  203. 9:18project also right so so we we use
  204. 9:21different types of media and we combine
  205. 9:23it so so life for instance it's not only
  206. 9:27like a concert you're gonna go and watch
  207. 9:29it's also a ritual right it is that is
  208. 9:31the main purpose of what we're doing
  209. 9:33right and we use theatrics even though
  210. 9:35no one is acting on stage right uh and
  211. 9:39and so on
  212. 9:40um and when we release uh music it also
  213. 9:43is a carbonate with with the artwork
  214. 9:46that we are drawing into books uh and
  215. 9:49it's it's a down to the very funds Rune
  216. 9:52funds that is being made is made by
  217. 9:55those you know so so we try to combine
  218. 9:57different types of media into one
  219. 10:00landscape that is so to say and it's not
  220. 10:04just one genre or something like that
  221. 10:06and and we also very very purposely try
  222. 10:11not to right but for instance I've read
  223. 10:13a review once it was in the very
  224. 10:14beginning when we we made the first
  225. 10:16album and and I think the river was like
  226. 10:19if everything on the first album felt
  227. 10:22like one big intro for a metal album or
  228. 10:25something like that yeah because when
  229. 10:27does the guitar start right and of
  230. 10:29course they don't right so if we we
  231. 10:31start to label ourselves into this kind
  232. 10:33of thing people will maybe get
  233. 10:34disappointed so we we are Amplified
  234. 10:37history this is the channel we've chosen
  235. 10:39for ourselves okay so you guys you guys
  236. 10:42are as you guys are so incredibly
  237. 10:44awesome that you guys created your own
  238. 10:46genre
  239. 10:48we were not inspired by other bands for
  240. 10:51this you know
  241. 10:56it's Tribal
  242. 11:00uh because it's also like that that the
  243. 11:03whole tribal genre basically is a lot
  244. 11:06about uh drum beats that uh yeah with
  245. 11:10the purpose of also elevating you to a
  246. 11:13higher uh a different state of mind
  247. 11:16right and that's that's absolutely a big
  248. 11:19point of uh our rituals we aim to
  249. 11:22consciously alter your state of mind
  250. 11:26that's so beautiful is does it is it
  251. 11:29insane to you guys that you go to an
  252. 11:31area of the world where they don't know
  253. 11:34absolutely nothing but a certain
  254. 11:36language like you go somewhere they only
  255. 11:38speak English or they only speak uh
  256. 11:40Spanish and they come out and sing
  257. 11:43exactly the same words that you guys are
  258. 11:44singing is it insane to you guys to hear
  259. 11:46that no yeah that's incredible yeah yeah
  260. 11:50we just got shown a video from Red Rocks
  261. 11:53uh where we played that two years ago uh
  262. 11:55and uh there were 10 000 people in the
  263. 11:58audience and you can hear everybody
  264. 12:00chanting one of our songs and it's so
  265. 12:02loud that it's echoing through the
  266. 12:04Cliffs of the of the stage and you just
  267. 12:07think whoa how many different
  268. 12:08nationalities and cultures are gathered
  269. 12:10here today and they are just all you
  270. 12:12know reciting these ancient poems in
  271. 12:15that that language that no one
  272. 12:17understands but yeah we all feel it if
  273. 12:20the people that made that little Stone
  274. 12:21in Scandinavia where the lyrics is on
  275. 12:24got to hear it I think they would be
  276. 12:26pretty proud
  277. 12:27obviously if there would be a some way
  278. 12:30to time travel they would be in this
  279. 12:32time saying thank you
  280. 12:39kind of like like imagine you wrote your
  281. 12:42name you know on your doll and maybe the
  282. 12:45name of your dog and your wife or
  283. 12:46something you know and then 2 000 years
  284. 12:49later it's found by aliens or something
  285. 12:52and everyone is like screaming you there
  286. 12:54whatever they think it says on it right
  287. 12:58they're probably like this is a God and
  288. 12:59this actually was you yeah yeah but
  289. 13:02wouldn't you kind of turn yourself into
  290. 13:04grave and be a little bit proud if that
  291. 13:06happened uh obviously but we'd probably
  292. 13:08be almost dust and all that so we'd be
  293. 13:10like molecules going crazy Inside the
  294. 13:12Box
  295. 13:14[Laughter]
  296. 13:16so how much the spirituality influence
  297. 13:19in your music if by chance there is a
  298. 13:22little bit of it
  299. 13:23oh
  300. 13:24more than a little bit
  301. 13:26I mean like I would say it is at least
  302. 13:29the root right so like of course there's
  303. 13:32a lot of playfulness uh and a lot of a
  304. 13:34lot of freedom and like Highland by now
  305. 13:36is so big I mean like when we're touring
  306. 13:38it's like 30 people and everyone has
  307. 13:40it's it's its own
  308. 13:42its own approach to it like experiences
  309. 13:45his his or her own little world in it
  310. 13:48but like when it comes when it comes
  311. 13:49down to it like from the beginning that
  312. 13:52the
  313. 13:54the first song for example is a song
  314. 13:57that I was always chanting when when I
  315. 14:00was making rituals when I when I had the
  316. 14:02healing sessions with with people and
  317. 14:04everything that is what what what is my
  318. 14:07medicine song you know like and it
  319. 14:10always has been and of course
  320. 14:12like when you look at it closely that
  321. 14:15medicine song is only a part of it
  322. 14:17because like when when the chanting is
  323. 14:19done then Maria takes over right
  324. 14:22but still like that that part that Maria
  325. 14:24sings when we were recording it you know
  326. 14:28we were really deep deep into it and she
  327. 14:30she came into the room and she basically
  328. 14:32did a one take you know and like it was
  329. 14:35it was put in there without like big big
  330. 14:39re-recording it and rewriting it and
  331. 14:41revisiting it you know so like I would
  332. 14:45Clearly say that the root of the of the
  333. 14:47project is is definitely a spiritual
  334. 14:50route definitely
  335. 14:52that's amazing I always had the feeling
  336. 14:54because when the last time I was like
  337. 14:57hearing the the songs I was like I was
  338. 14:59running because I was trying to do a lot
  339. 15:01of cardio to get in shape and all that
  340. 15:02and just hearing the song just pumped me
  341. 15:04to the point that when the song finished
  342. 15:06I almost fainted because I ran too hard
  343. 15:08and I didn't even realize it
  344. 15:10and I was like I was like whoa this is
  345. 15:13this you can you can feel it like like
  346. 15:15an energy flowing all through that just
  347. 15:17helped me keep running the soft finish I
  348. 15:19hit the floor and I'm like I look at the
  349. 15:21clock I'm like oh my God I was running
  350. 15:22for like 45 minutes I didn't even
  351. 15:24realize it which which zone was that
  352. 15:27um it was I'm terrible at the names it's
  353. 15:31one that's is it the last album it
  354. 15:33starts like like this little kids
  355. 15:34chanting oh
  356. 15:37you're a rockable running I was the song
  357. 15:41was long I'm like I'm like it's gonna
  358. 15:43finish here and I'm like oh yeah
  359. 15:46I was like yeah I get I feel you when
  360. 15:50the beat starts there it's just you just
  361. 15:53you're driven you cannot stop that
  362. 15:57I couldn't stop I almost almost
  363. 15:59re-injured my knees but it was it was an
  364. 16:02experience and I'm glad that you guys
  365. 16:04there's something I want to say that I'm
  366. 16:06glad you guys are are doing this kind of
  367. 16:08music I was talking to to Carlos my
  368. 16:10brother myself
  369. 16:11sadly I'm a music I'm a singer as well
  370. 16:13and sadly I've seen that music his star
  371. 16:16has lost that touch of Discovery has
  372. 16:19lost that Spirit of creating something
  373. 16:22unique and it's all been like recycled
  374. 16:24oh this guy did something and it's
  375. 16:27working with him so it's like a stepping
  376. 16:29stone everybody's or something so when I
  377. 16:31finally heard you guys I was like yo
  378. 16:33this is like me this is something that
  379. 16:36more people need to listen to this is
  380. 16:38something that that should be in more
  381. 16:40ears sadly we were born in the wrong era
  382. 16:43I'm sure it'll be born like 50 60 years
  383. 16:45ago maybe bigger than Michael Jackson
  384. 16:47and all those guys but I'm so glad that
  385. 16:49you guys do this kind of music really
  386. 16:51I'm really glad
  387. 16:52uh I have a comment on this and thank
  388. 16:54you so so one you know I think one place
  389. 16:58actually to to break that cycle and
  390. 17:00something I want to encourage because
  391. 17:01there's many good musicians out there
  392. 17:03right and many good uh songwriters and
  393. 17:05one thing is just if you think about it
  394. 17:08what is this genre you know a genre is a
  395. 17:10repetition of assault right I mean like
  396. 17:13whatever whatever other people are
  397. 17:15mimicking within a thing right so if we
  398. 17:17start stopping actually labeling music
  399. 17:20and just say I do art or do music it
  400. 17:24could all of a sudden create a lot of
  401. 17:26freedom to yourself on what you want to
  402. 17:28express right and and and in that way no
  403. 17:32one is listening to whatever you're
  404. 17:34doing with any
  405. 17:35pre-thoughts on what it would be and and
  406. 17:38that way you can maybe just hit
  407. 17:39something human and and I think I think
  408. 17:42also I see other bands and other artists
  409. 17:44starting to to go that route but this is
  410. 17:46one of the reasons why we went all the
  411. 17:49way with just creating our own labels so
  412. 17:52to say yeah the Amplified history that
  413. 17:55you guys call it yeah it can be anything
  414. 17:58if you think about it
  415. 17:59but it's also about creating something
  416. 18:01that is very human and something that is
  417. 18:04uh from where we come from probably and
  418. 18:06something that can speak to a deeper
  419. 18:08human level yeah
  420. 18:11amazing amazing but I'm glad you said
  421. 18:14that for the people that are watching
  422. 18:16that are probably like telling
  423. 18:18themselves how can I make something how
  424. 18:20can I go against the current
  425. 18:22can I create something new you can there
  426. 18:25are handful like we say in Spanish you
  427. 18:28guys are like the perfect example to use
  428. 18:29it you can make your own kind of music
  429. 18:32and I'm so glad you guys are doing it so
  430. 18:34this is a question obviously based off
  431. 18:36of what I have right here Xbox in 2024
  432. 18:39is going to launch hellblade 2. first
  433. 18:42promotional material they guys used was
  434. 18:45a song from you guys which was insane
  435. 18:47seeing the actress of sanoa Melinda
  436. 18:50Jurgens lip syncing Maria's voice when I
  437. 18:53saw that I was like whoa
  438. 18:56is it Maria or is in Molina
  439. 18:59it blew my mind so I want to know at
  440. 19:03what moment did Ninja Theory or
  441. 19:04Microsoft approach you guys in the band
  442. 19:06to make this amazing crossover or did
  443. 19:09you guys send a sample to them and they
  444. 19:11were like this is it
  445. 19:13um it was very cool because we met the
  446. 19:16guys before they got bought by Microsoft
  447. 19:18when it was uh only Ninja Theory and uh
  448. 19:22the musical composer of the first the
  449. 19:26new saga and David Garcia from Galicia
  450. 19:31he uh he approached us because he simply
  451. 19:34saw our video on YouTube and he got
  452. 19:38mesmerized and him and tamim until the
  453. 19:41others they both came to our studio and
  454. 19:45we had kind of a was it like maybe like
  455. 19:47an audition sort of we took them to a
  456. 19:50ritualistic place in the forest we
  457. 19:52worked with some sounds we went to the
  458. 19:53studio we used the sounds we Amplified
  459. 19:56them we put some vocals on and in three
  460. 20:00hours we made a piece uh with them in
  461. 20:03the studio together with so they could
  462. 20:04see how we were working and since then
  463. 20:07the bonds were created and we are so
  464. 20:10happy in working with these guys they
  465. 20:12are so professional deeply talented very
  466. 20:14creative inspirational process
  467. 20:19wow so in less than three hours you guys
  468. 20:22had everything ready that's insane
  469. 20:26oh okay yeah
  470. 20:32audition thing and then then we got uh
  471. 20:36into the uh game and uh yeah we cannot
  472. 20:41say super much about it but we produced
  473. 20:44uh empty many hours
  474. 20:46laughs
  475. 20:48sorry yeah exactly
  476. 20:51but yeah
  477. 20:53but but uh
  478. 20:55it is her
  479. 21:03and and I think she does it one week we
  480. 21:06had a we had a Skype session and uh
  481. 21:09about pronunciation and everything so
  482. 21:11like she really put some word into it uh
  483. 21:13some work into it to to be part of or
  484. 21:16like to properly deliver her part of the
  485. 21:19uh of the little video there but I mean
  486. 21:22she like generally I think it's safe to
  487. 21:24say like we met her a couple of times
  488. 21:25she's a very dedicated very very hard
  489. 21:28working woman and like she's absolutely
  490. 21:30amazing in what she does really
  491. 21:36that's a lot of things we signed with
  492. 21:39Microsoft that we cannot say but I can
  493. 21:42tell that uh that it's it's it's
  494. 21:44absolutely wonderful and there's gonna
  495. 21:46be a lot of fun stuff coming out of that
  496. 21:49topic 2024 income hurry up income 2024 I
  497. 21:53got I got to see this all in action
  498. 21:55definitely I don't know anything about
  499. 21:57this
  500. 22:01924 is what we're working with the most
  501. 22:04you you're using whatever number you
  502. 22:06just know that everything's done so
  503. 22:08that's cool that's cool I have seen the
  504. 22:10Molina is is very dedicated she started
  505. 22:12taking martial arts and all that and I'm
  506. 22:15like from here to Hollywood definitely
  507. 22:17so wow that's that's so awesome I'm so
  508. 22:21glad that I'm so glad to have had this
  509. 22:23tidbits of information that everybody
  510. 22:25that's following the game will probably
  511. 22:26go crazy to know so uh there's something
  512. 22:29very important that you guys are gonna
  513. 22:30start hitting soon in the States this
  514. 22:32October with the emblem fight history
  515. 22:34tour
  516. 22:36um when does it started specifically in
  517. 22:38October do you guys remember what states
  518. 22:40you're going to be and uh there's
  519. 22:42something that I really love about this
  520. 22:44that each ticket you're gonna donate a
  521. 22:46dollar to help plant trees which is
  522. 22:48something that
  523. 22:49we should do more often because there's
  524. 22:52more trees getting knocked down than
  525. 22:53planted so where did the idea come from
  526. 22:55and which of the spaces specifically
  527. 22:57that you guys are going to be playing it
  528. 22:59you're thinking about the tree planting
  529. 23:00yeah
  530. 23:01okay so where did we start yeah we start
  531. 23:04in Greensboro where it's very fitting
  532. 23:06for for tree planting yeah uh Tangier
  533. 23:09Center in Greensboro yeah so so what we
  534. 23:12do with tree planning in general you can
  535. 23:14just go to amplify history tour.com and
  536. 23:17see all our
  537. 23:18events right we begin here in
  538. 23:21mid-october and and we it will stretch
  539. 23:23for for 10 rituals
  540. 23:26um during the month
  541. 23:29um what what we like to do also like
  542. 23:32like when we when we travel with with
  543. 23:34this thing
  544. 23:36um it it is within the limits of what
  545. 23:39the world can provide in terms of
  546. 23:41Transportation all these things and um
  547. 23:43and and without going into many details
  548. 23:45what we like to do with that is also to
  549. 23:49give something back and and a picture I
  550. 23:51like telling people
  551. 23:55um you know in terms of concert is
  552. 23:57Imagine The Forest of people standing in
  553. 24:00front of the stage will actually become
  554. 24:02a real Forest because every head that is
  555. 24:04there we do donate uh some funds to to
  556. 24:07replant trees or protectories and for
  557. 24:12this tour we are doing it a little bit
  558. 24:14different than we normally do because we
  559. 24:15want to invite the people that attend
  560. 24:17the show so or follow us to come up with
  561. 24:20ideas where that could be that could be
  562. 24:23in a native land somewhere where where
  563. 24:26trees have been burning because of
  564. 24:28various reasons it can be that we need
  565. 24:30to protect a piece of land from from
  566. 24:33other things I also want to put it down
  567. 24:35that what we're doing is is
  568. 24:36non-political it's not we're not taking
  569. 24:39a political statement but we but
  570. 24:41everyone should buy at least at this
  571. 24:43point they they you know they eat a
  572. 24:46carpenter oxide and then see there so
  573. 24:48what's not to like right so so so yeah
  574. 24:51if any one of your listeners have a a
  575. 24:54suggestion to where we should plant all
  576. 24:56these trees or an area that would be
  577. 24:59worth protecting where they should
  578. 25:00contact
  579. 25:03um and yeah we will also like to visit
  580. 25:05the places we actually help
  581. 25:07okay yeah it makes sense just to make
  582. 25:09sure that that it actually deserves all
  583. 25:12that attention
  584. 25:14there's not green washing here also that
  585. 25:16that is a concept you see a lot right
  586. 25:18that you just just buy your real way out
  587. 25:21of it you just leave it as you should
  588. 25:23right but I mean we we are we as we
  589. 25:26talked about earlier and advanced drum
  590. 25:28circle uh on steroids right so so we we
  591. 25:31are not like inventors of uh All The
  592. 25:34Green Solution but planning trees is
  593. 25:36something that that is um a wonderful
  594. 25:39thing is you can judge that in a way
  595. 25:42okay
  596. 25:44yeah as Chris said before it is beyond
  597. 25:47all politics right I mean if you look at
  598. 25:50the three for example that that was
  599. 25:51planted in Germany in 1900 when that
  600. 25:54tree was 18 years old that was when when
  601. 25:56the the emperor went out you know and
  602. 25:58never came back then we had the
  603. 26:00Democratic tryouts that failed then it
  604. 26:04was the the terrible war time and after
  605. 26:06that it was the it was the Germany as we
  606. 26:08as we know it now right and like I
  607. 26:11always say
  608. 26:12we don't inherit the uh the planet from
  609. 26:16from our forefathers we borrow it from
  610. 26:18our children and all the trees we're
  611. 26:20planting now I mean we were bare we will
  612. 26:22barely see them as grown-up trees we we
  613. 26:25just will not but it will be the
  614. 26:26generations after us that we'll see them
  615. 26:29as proper trees right and and they will
  616. 26:31maybe even live in political systems
  617. 26:33that we can't even figure out now that's
  618. 26:35what how that would look right exactly
  619. 26:37like well at Starfield we're probably
  620. 26:39living in the stars and and the trees
  621. 26:41are going here without us
  622. 26:44maybe no one knows
  623. 26:47we never know the way that the world is
  624. 26:49going anything's possible one thing that
  625. 26:51I really like about your guys's show is
  626. 26:53that you guys incorporate like a lot of
  627. 26:54what the Viking girls and the shield
  628. 26:56minions are part of the show it's like
  629. 26:58reliving those moments of what the past
  630. 27:00would have looked like where did that
  631. 27:03concept come from
  632. 27:04oh yeah yeah you can even take it
  633. 27:07further in a way you know what what
  634. 27:08would it look like today if certain
  635. 27:11elements of the past hadn't happened
  636. 27:13right
  637. 27:14and that is also a possibility it's a
  638. 27:18big part of the history of the North
  639. 27:20that we had
  640. 27:23we had and then the the Christian belief
  641. 27:25system took over and you can you can
  642. 27:28Wonder like you know if we continue to
  643. 27:31just be
  644. 27:32the way it was exactly the way it was
  645. 27:35and worshiping the the gods of the
  646. 27:38different strengths uh and uh yeah
  647. 27:40sacrificing uh on that to the moon on
  648. 27:44the special occasions of the air like
  649. 27:46yeah would we dance more freely would we
  650. 27:48sing in a different way would we create
  651. 27:51art in a different way we don't know but
  652. 27:53it's an interesting
  653. 27:55kick for the creativity to try to
  654. 27:58imagine how could it have been like yeah
  655. 28:02just playing with that thought of ways
  656. 28:04is inspiring like a like a world without
  657. 28:07sin
  658. 28:08yeah what would that look like
  659. 28:12that would look like something that I
  660. 28:14think I'm never gonna see not in these
  661. 28:17days but it would make it would make a
  662. 28:20lot of sense yeah if if
  663. 28:23um
  664. 28:24the expansion of the empires had left
  665. 28:27certain areas like be like if for
  666. 28:30example in Puerto Rico if the Spaniards
  667. 28:33wouldn't have come over here and robbed
  668. 28:34all the gold and killed uh all the
  669. 28:37Native Americans because Puerto Rico
  670. 28:40they kill them all there was there's
  671. 28:42there was not even one left over to like
  672. 28:44continue the the traditions of what it
  673. 28:48was to be in Puerto Rico so it would
  674. 28:51have been uh I I would have been a nice
  675. 28:53World sadly sadly
  676. 28:56that is exactly what happened to Europe
  677. 28:58right I mean like in in 805 you had the
  678. 29:01King Charles the great as a Christian
  679. 29:03ruler he invited all the Saxon Chief
  680. 29:06times and all the Saxon leaders who were
  681. 29:08Pagan at that time he invited them for a
  682. 29:11gathering and what he did he just killed
  683. 29:12them all all of them
  684. 29:14he didn't leave a single one not a
  685. 29:17single one and that means at that point
  686. 29:20all the traditions of the Saxon people
  687. 29:22they just vanished you know they were
  688. 29:25they were Stone Age old traditions you
  689. 29:27know like healing recipes songs dances
  690. 29:30gone you know and what what we do what
  691. 29:34we have to do nowadays is like you know
  692. 29:37we have to take the knowledge of of our
  693. 29:39forefathers and the the medicine of our
  694. 29:41forefathers the dances of our
  695. 29:43forefathers
  696. 29:44the songs of our forefathers you know we
  697. 29:46have we have to dig it up again from the
  698. 29:48ground you know like like luckily they
  699. 29:50they they they they went in the graves
  700. 29:52with all the stuff that they were
  701. 29:53wearing during their lifetime like at
  702. 29:55least they they chiseled some songs into
  703. 29:57stones that we ReDiscover again now
  704. 29:58right and that that is what we do and
  705. 30:01that is also why we show up with Spears
  706. 30:03of course like we're we're not seriously
  707. 30:06like wanting to wage war on anyone
  708. 30:09because like we if we show up with
  709. 30:11Spears you know of course we don't bring
  710. 30:12a knife to a gunfight we bring a spear
  711. 30:14but we would still be wiped out
  712. 30:16immediately right but the spear itself
  713. 30:18is was at that time we know that was a
  714. 30:21sacred thing you know it was it was a
  715. 30:24thing that that that connected the
  716. 30:25people to the god of the wind also to
  717. 30:28the god of the poor poetry to the god of
  718. 30:30the dead and everything you know and the
  719. 30:31moment we bring that spear that is a
  720. 30:33symbol that's much more a symbol than a
  721. 30:35weapon these days right and that that is
  722. 30:37we we we we try to revive this this the
  723. 30:41this healthy past you know this natural
  724. 30:45grown past that was so violently wiped
  725. 30:48out like many many hundred again or more
  726. 30:51than thousand years ago right I think
  727. 30:53also it's important to revive the
  728. 30:55history to a modern context without
  729. 30:58bringing the any blame or you know
  730. 31:03because what is also important today is
  731. 31:05that we we take care of our roots and we
  732. 31:08find inspiration and creativity through
  733. 31:10our past history but it's also a very
  734. 31:13very important message to remember that
  735. 31:15we all are brothers like if we can live
  736. 31:18by this poem in this day and age we will
  737. 31:22be so such a prosperous world and I'm
  738. 31:26completely completely convinced that
  739. 31:29that we would we would be better we
  740. 31:33would be better at everything we do
  741. 31:34which could just figure out to live in
  742. 31:36peace
  743. 31:37that's that's the a thing that the uh a
  744. 31:41lot of special people throughout time as
  745. 31:44Gandhi and and Jesus and all these
  746. 31:46people that's like
  747. 31:48I would like I always say you know these
  748. 31:50religious figures what they've always
  749. 31:52tried to bring is peace like that's like
  750. 31:54the Forefront of everything has always
  751. 31:55been peace but
  752. 31:57every time somebody takes it out of
  753. 31:59context and they're like well it that's
  754. 32:01a witch so we have to burn her without
  755. 32:03even knowing the reason of why these
  756. 32:06people have these abilities and they
  757. 32:08have these special connections with
  758. 32:10nature and if the world would let people
  759. 32:14be them there would be less suicides
  760. 32:17like in in South Korea people there's a
  761. 32:21high alert of suicides because they
  762. 32:24don't let people try to be themselves
  763. 32:26they have to be identical to everybody
  764. 32:28else and if you're not then they do a
  765. 32:31lot of stuff that are so sad and and I'm
  766. 32:33glad you guys have that message and the
  767. 32:35way you give them the message is awesome
  768. 32:37because we unfortunately know that
  769. 32:39nowadays
  770. 32:41kids just don't want to read and we're
  771. 32:43losing that basic knowledge of writing
  772. 32:47of stuff that our forefathers left us
  773. 32:49thousands of years ago that if they
  774. 32:51wouldn't have written we would have
  775. 32:53known nothing right now we would just be
  776. 32:55listening to whatever propaganda we hear
  777. 32:57on the TV so I'm glad you guys are are
  778. 33:00still taking that message I think I
  779. 33:02think I think you're touching something
  780. 33:04important there and that is you know a
  781. 33:06thing that that I tried to Advocate a
  782. 33:09lot and that is really the further into
  783. 33:12yourself you look the bigger chance you
  784. 33:15have to see how similar you are to
  785. 33:17everyone else right so so of course what
  786. 33:20we do in our project here it has a clear
  787. 33:22Nordic perspective right but there's a
  788. 33:25lot of things we we don't know how was
  789. 33:28exactly at least we haven't found
  790. 33:30anything if we follow the idea of if you
  791. 33:32find it in the ground that it must be
  792. 33:34the only proof you have right and and
  793. 33:37one one place for instance is that we
  794. 33:40don't really find drums in from the
  795. 33:42Viking period but we are pretty sure
  796. 33:44that that at least every tribal Society
  797. 33:46in in one in the world must have had
  798. 33:49drums right so that that we we we
  799. 33:51borrowed drums from other cultures so to
  800. 33:54say to to and and maybe get into to to
  801. 33:57to to what we do right that is not a you
  802. 34:00know
  803. 34:00that is not to steal in that way but
  804. 34:03it's to filled in gaps so to say right
  805. 34:05now the same you can go with folklore
  806. 34:07with stories with music with instruments
  807. 34:10you know the further back you look into
  808. 34:12history at certain locations around the
  809. 34:15world
  810. 34:16instruments like musical instruments
  811. 34:18become the same more or less it's a
  812. 34:20resonator with a string that sounds in a
  813. 34:23certain way and it becomes very close to
  814. 34:24each other same with with rock carvings
  815. 34:27and and and folk stories there's
  816. 34:29similarities you find many places
  817. 34:31something we're also portraying and
  818. 34:33allows help on place where we we take
  819. 34:36songs from from the biggest
  820. 34:37civilizations and and and what I want to
  821. 34:40say about it is that you know the more
  822. 34:42you get to learn about your specialty in
  823. 34:45in your area where you're from like you
  824. 34:48also find many places in for instance in
  825. 34:50South America you know it's fairly
  826. 34:53similar to what happens everywhere else
  827. 34:55right so it's it's more about what
  828. 34:57actually combines us more than what it
  829. 34:59brings us apart and that's you know it's
  830. 35:02it's kind of healthy to look inwards
  831. 35:04once in a while because it's kind of
  832. 35:06beautiful what is there also that's true
  833. 35:10don't you
  834. 35:11I I see one of you two wanted to say
  835. 35:14something
  836. 35:16he said everything for you guys yeah
  837. 35:18yeah
  838. 35:20all right so last but not least this is
  839. 35:22real Northstar Talent so we always try
  840. 35:25to do the best to sing with the talents
  841. 35:28of song of theirs so we're gonna try
  842. 35:31very best to sing anwana it's just gonna
  843. 35:34be the Ali wow part so that way it'll be
  844. 35:37simpler and directly to the point so I'm
  845. 35:40gonna Channel my inner
  846. 35:43self because I'm from I'm from Italian
  847. 35:47and Indian descendancies so we'll try to
  848. 35:51get that outside and try to make this as
  849. 35:53awesome as possible so
  850. 35:55um whenever you're ready at the count of
  851. 35:58three then we'll go with the alua and
  852. 36:00and just the chorus so that way we won't
  853. 36:03take too much time yeah and then let's
  854. 36:05uh let's uh stand up
  855. 36:08going
  856. 36:10okay
  857. 36:12okay let's find the tone also uh
