5. 0:28playing download um um the Opus stage
6. 0:31the second stage are you looking forward
7. 0:32to your set absolutely absolutely it's a
8. 0:36first time here atal and uh yeah it's
9. 0:40big wet loud
10. 0:44beautiful I think you must be one of the
11. 0:46most unique bands playing download
12. 0:48Festival this weekend and I'm so excited
13. 0:51to see your set thank

15. 0:58you now what is one of the more may do I
16. 1:03use the word strange or unique
17. 1:05instruments that you might have um in
18. 1:08your kit of instruments I think you can
19. 1:11start with that raan yeah we have I mean
20. 1:14we the thing is that we play free
21. 1:17Christian music from the northern part
22. 1:19of Europe but there's still some ancient
23. 1:22sounds that you can find all over the
24. 1:24world and uh putting a string on a stick
25. 1:28and put a horse hair thing on it to make
26. 1:30a squeaky sound that we find in ancient
27. 1:33cultures all over and one of these
28. 1:35instruments is actually from India it's
29. 1:36called the ranata a desert sitar it's a
30. 1:39coconut and a bamboo stick and some
31. 1:41steel strings and a horse hair bow and
32. 1:44it's just our sound guy hates it but we
33. 1:46love it because it has the most crazy uh
34. 1:51sque squeaky sound but yeah we also play
35. 1:54on human bones normally but we didn't
36. 1:57bring those to the UK we're a little bit
37. 1:59afraid of the
38. 2:00Customs uh service so yeah we play on
39. 2:03deer bones for tonight okay that's cool
40. 2:06though I'm really can't wait to see your
41. 2:08set I've never seen you live before
42. 2:11actually um and I heard that your the
43. 2:14name of your band actually means healing
44. 2:18and your music is quite healing yeah
45. 2:22that is it's the name of the project but
46. 2:25it's also of course the core intention
47. 2:28because uh like when it all started uh
48. 2:31it was first me and Christopher and uh
49. 2:36at some point of course Maria bar in the
50. 2:38beginning jumped in and uh delivered
51. 2:41voices as well but when we trace it down
52. 2:44all the way back to the smallest to the
53. 2:46smallest point to the first Spark that
54. 2:49came out of my shamanic work and in
55. 2:52there is of course like whenever
56. 2:54whenever you do that kind of stuff of
57. 2:56course the word Chic is very weird it's
58. 2:57Anella term like use us and abused a lot
59. 3:01so a lot of people are like oh my god
60. 3:02did he really say that yes I did but
61. 3:05it's basically really you
62. 3:07approach what you do with with the
63. 3:10intent from the heart to bring whoever
64. 3:12listens to what you sing or what you say
65. 3:14to bring it one step forward that does
66. 3:16not mean that you have the ultimate
67. 3:18medicine or that your
68. 3:20song uh fixes a broken bone or something
69. 3:23like that is really to connect people
70. 3:25inside of themselves with their concept
71. 3:27of healing whatever that might me for
72. 3:30the individual you know for some people
73. 3:31it Minds ending a relationship for other
74. 3:33people it Minds searching professional
75. 3:35help on another level for other people
76. 3:37again it it means finally go to the
77. 3:40doctor and get that broken leg
78. 3:43fixed I like that and I mean I've
79. 3:45definitely had those moments where I've
80. 3:47been watching a band and you just have
81. 3:50those Epiphany moments so knowing that
82. 3:53you're band has all these ancient sounds
83. 3:56if if I'm wring saying that and um
84. 3:59healing sounds I'm really looking
85. 4:00forward to the whole experience of the
86. 4:03live show and just seeing what that
87. 4:05brings and speaking to people afterwards
88. 4:08as well and just seeing how it affected
89. 4:10them has anyone ever given you a
90. 4:13particularly interesting story of uh how
91. 4:16they felt after they watched your band
92. 4:17play
93. 4:18Live there's actually uh like several
94. 4:22groups now on social media where people
95. 4:25share their experience that they had
96. 4:28when uh when we were uh out there and it
97. 4:31ranges from all different kind of stuff
98. 4:34like we had people that that actually
99. 4:36got relief from tinitus a lot of people
100. 4:39got got over uh some depression social
101. 4:42anxiety you name it right there's a lot
102. 4:45of a lot of stuff happening the moment
103. 4:47the moment we succeed with Our intention
104. 4:49connecting people to that okay I'm I'm
105. 4:51getting better now feeling whatever that
106. 4:54might mean uh individually that's true
107. 4:57magic in music in the form of music
108. 4:59right there that's really cool if you
109. 5:01could describe your band in three
110. 5:03objects which objects would you
111. 5:07choose that's really what thank you
112. 5:11K three objects
113. 5:14okay can it be an animal yeah okay so a
114. 5:21horse
115. 5:24um a a a
116. 5:28bog and
117. 5:32something
118. 5:33smelling I want to say uh I want to say
119. 5:36the the thing that drips out of trees
120. 5:38what's the English word for that sa sap
121. 5:41sap yes tree sap yeah I like that I
122. 5:45think out of you know I've asked many
123. 5:47bands this question and those are free
124. 5:49answers that I've never had before so I
125. 5:51like that it's
126. 5:53Unique and I hear that you've got a live
127. 5:56album coming out that you're releasing
128. 5:58later on this year what are the details
129. 6:00of that yes so two years ago we played a
130. 6:03very special uh ritual at Red Rocks in
131. 6:06Colorado in the US and uh what was
132. 6:09unique about that was that people had
133. 6:10been locked in for two years before
134. 6:12prior to this so this was for many
135. 6:15people including ourselves the first
136. 6:17time that we were present in a public
137. 6:19space with together with so many other
138. 6:21people it was 10,000 people present to
139. 6:23this ritual and it felt extremely
140. 6:26healing in so many ways for all of us
141. 6:29finally
142. 6:30being able to to meet and and play live
143. 6:32again and this got recorded and uh now
144. 6:35it's finally ready and edited and uh and
145. 6:39yeah set to be released later this year
146. 6:42so yeah we're happy amazing that that
147. 6:44sounds really cool and especially after
148. 6:46lockdown I know everyone was dying to
149. 6:49get out at that point and red rock is
150. 6:51such an amazing location I've never been
151. 6:53but I've always wanted to see bands play
152. 6:55there one day unique unique venue yeah
153. 6:59yeah so what's next for hilong what
154. 7:02what's next for the rest of the year
155. 7:04really well uh really the next thing for
156. 7:08us is the glassenbury uh Festival after
157. 7:11after that we play it is Denmark's
158. 7:13biggest uh Festival right uh yeah Ros
159. 7:17kilder festival and then we uh take off
160. 7:21for quite uh intense and extensive uh
161. 7:24European Tour all around after that we
162. 7:27go to uh Australia Australia and New
163. 7:30Zealand and then the year is over yeah
164. 7:34busy busy yeah well we hope that some
165. 7:37point we see you back in the UK maybe
166. 7:39for a tour or something that would be
167. 7:42cool we'll see what happens it's going
168. 7:45to be some news very soon I think
169. 7:47already next week we're ready to to
170. 7:49spill the beans on okay we'll be keeping
171. 7:51a keen eye out for that then yeah yeah
