  1. 0:00running for and being selected as a
  2. 0:01Philadelphia mayor. You, Dave Anderson.
  3. 0:03First of all, it's Dr. Anderson. Second
  4. 0:04of all, why would I run for mayor?
  5. 0:05That's a demotion. Third of all, I do
  6. 0:07business globally, I don't have time to
  7. 0:09run the city. I have time to write
  8. 0:10checks to run the city. I'm so confused.
  9. 0:13I'm sorry. What? What? What? What? What
  10. 0:14is What is this here? Hold on. Let me
  11. 0:16let me go back up. I'm trying to
  12. 0:18understand what this particular comment
  13. 0:20is saying. Can somebody explain to me
  14. 0:21what Joel Wijon 6329 is saying? Maybe
  15. 0:24I'm a little slow on the uptick because
  16. 0:25if you do me that favor, mayor alleged
  17. 0:29Anderson, I'd like myself quite right
  18. 0:32with a providential economy around me.
  19. 0:35What favor? Who's running for mayor? Not
  20. 0:37me. Who are you talking about? Can you
  21. 0:39make sense or is this babble? I'm
  22. 0:41confused as to what exactly you're
  23. 0:43saying, sir. Why are you an Indian
  24. 0:45Jamaican? Like, what's going on here? I
  25. 0:47don't understand your point. Do you
  26. 0:48suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome? What
  27. 0:51What is going on?
  28. 0:51>> WHAT GAVE IT AWAY? I do what the city
  29. 0:53needs by writing checks and enforcing my
  30. 0:56will. I have no desire to be in city
  31. 0:58hall making less money than I make right
  32. 1:00now to serve an electorate that is not
  33. 1:02educated enough to understand what's
  34. 1:04happening. Why would I do that? Hey yo,
  35. 1:06real quick. Um Joel, you're more than
  36. 1:08welcome to come up here or you can you
  37. 1:10can call let let's put the number on the
  38. 1:13screen for you cuz apparently you you
  39. 1:15you're not going to come up cuz most of
  40. 1:17y'all won't. But uh we'll go and put the
  41. 1:19number up for you. There you go. You can
  42. 1:21call in. I pay my phone bill. Come on
  43. 1:23and call up here, Joel. Cuz no one
  44. 1:25understands what you're talking about.
  45. 1:26Governor, how does that Why would I run
  46. 1:28for governor? You You don't understand.
  47. 1:30I pay politicians to do what I want them
  48. 1:32to do. I'm not going to become one.
  49. 1:34You're making no sense, sir. Exactly.
  50. 1:36What is a sandwich without the bread? We
  51. 1:37got to prioritize making the money
  52. 1:39first. We got to prioritize building the
  53. 1:40audience.
  54. 1:41>> 215
  55. 1:42>> from
  56. 1:43>> Joel.
  57. 1:44>> It's Joelle, ladies and gentlemen. We
  58. 1:46already know what we're dealing with.
  59. 1:48Joel.
  60. 1:49>> Hello, Mr. Anderson.
  61. 1:50>> It's Dr.
  62. 1:51>> Dr. Anderson, I'm terribly sorry.
  63. 1:53>> That's it. I know. It's okay. What's
  64. 1:55going on? How can I help you?
  65. 1:56>> Well, I feel like um with a lot of the
  66. 1:59blanket statements that um get swung
  67. 2:01around like Tether and Foundational
  68. 2:03Black American. I myself am a um I like
  69. 2:06to consider myself an American,
  70. 2:08patriotically born and raised in
  71. 2:09Philadelphia
  72. 2:11hospital.
  73. 2:12>> Where your people from?
  74. 2:12>> My pop is my pop is from South Philly.
  75. 2:16My my my dad's father is from South
  76. 2:18Philly. American born and raised. Um,
  77. 2:21like Jamaican, Scotch, Irish. Exactly.
  78. 2:23And then my dad's mom gave it away.
  79. 2:25>> My dad Go ahead.
  80. 2:26>> My dad's mom is Persian, Mexican,
  81. 2:29Chinese. And then my mom is from West
  82. 2:31Africa.
  83. 2:32>> Yes. So you're not a foundation.
  84. 2:33>> So you're not a foundational black
  85. 2:34American.
  86. 2:35>> I'm black. I'm black. No, I'm black.
  87. 2:37That's what I had to put on paperwork
  88. 2:39and such.
  89. 2:40>> So somebody else So let me make sure I'm
  90. 2:42understanding this. Somebody else's
  91. 2:43paperwork, whether that's a job
  92. 2:44application or school, determines your
  93. 2:46lineage.
  94. 2:47>> No, no, no, no, no. I'm well aware of my
  95. 2:49lineage. Okay, then we're talking about
  96. 2:51lineage. You're talking you're trying to
  97. 2:53talk about paperwork for classification
  98. 2:55purposes versus actual bloodline. Sir,
  99. 2:58let's not do that. We're we're we're too
  100. 2:59intelligent for that.
  101. 3:00>> No, no, no. Real quick, real quick. Can
  102. 3:02you define the word deluge for me?
  103. 3:04>> Rooting apparatus. Something
  104. 3:05interrogative that could be a possible
  105. 3:07apparatus. A deluge. Something that came
  106. 3:10from the outside.
  107. 3:11>> No, no, no.
  108. 3:12an instance of
  109. 3:14>> No, no, no. A deluge is a severe flood,
  110. 3:16a heavy downpour of rain, and an
  111. 3:18overwhelming hard to manage rush of
  112. 3:20things. That's what
  113. 3:21>> But as a euphemis, but as a euphemism,
  114. 3:23it just means something coming from the
  115. 3:25outside of what you're dealing right
  116. 3:26then and there. As a a local colloquial
  117. 3:29term, delu simply means that.
  118. 3:32>> That's what I'm saying. Like we deal
  119. 3:33with the white.
  120. 3:34>> Sister, sir, sir, sir, sir. Joelle,
  121. 3:36first of all, stop right there. The one
  122. 3:38drop rule was created by racists. That
  123. 3:40is not a real thing. A one drop. And you
  124. 3:44don't even have one drop, sir. You The
  125. 3:46only thing you said black was Jamaican.
  126. 3:48You are not a foundational black
  127. 3:50American. Please do not try to hit me
  128. 3:51with the one drop rule which was created
  129. 3:53to oppress people and to try and create
  130. 3:55an Aryan bloodline. What are you talking
  131. 3:58about, sir? This is very Oswald Bates X.
  132. 4:01Why in the world No, wait. Why in the
  133. 4:04world would I run for mayor or governor?
  134. 4:06How does that benefit me? How does that
  135. 4:08benefit my [clears throat] benefits? It
  136. 4:09it benefits you because you'll have
  137. 4:12those toolings to make the necessary
  138. 4:15providential changes and the government
  139. 4:17policies and productive sir not
  140. 4:20conductive productive sir here's the
  141. 4:22thing right now you're sound you're
  142. 4:24sounding like a tether version of ti
  143. 4:26like you just got the source and started
  144. 4:29I'm trying to understand if I pay
  145. 4:31politicians to do what's in the best
  146. 4:32interest of my people why in the world
  147. 4:35would I need to run for office because
  148. 4:38Oswald bait says so
  149. 4:40>> Oswald who say that again
  150. 4:42>> you you don't know who you're not
  151. 4:43familiar with Oswald
  152. 4:45>> I might have
  153. 4:47internalized the flatulation of the
  154. 4:50matter by transmitting the effevescence
  155. 4:54of the Indonesian proximity in order to
  156. 4:58further segregate the crux of my venary
  157. 5:02infection. [laughter]
  158. 5:03Now, if I may retain my liquids here for
  159. 5:07one moment, I'd like to continue the
  160. 5:11redundance of my quote unquote
  161. 5:14intestinal tract. See, because to
  162. 5:17preclude on the issue of world
  163. 5:18domination would only circumvent, excuse
  164. 5:22me, circumcise the revelation that
  165. 5:25reflects the aphrodesiatic
  166. 5:27symptoms which now perpetrates the
  167. 5:30Jericho's activation. [cheering]
  168. 5:33All right. All right.
  169. 5:34>> That's what you sound like, sir. You're
  170. 5:36bad.
  171. 5:36>> You the big I I wrote an entire
  172. 5:41>> I wrote an entire book. Did you read it?
  173. 5:42>> No, I ain't read your book. I didn't
  174. 5:44know where to buy it. I would buy
  175. 5:46Barnes & Noble and get my book right
  176. 5:48now. What are you talking about?
  177. 5:49>> Not a problem.
  178. 5:50>> Let me ask you one question and one
  179. 5:51question only before I get out of here.
  180. 5:53If you have all of this knowledge and
  181. 5:54and you're you have a mensa pen, I have
  182. 5:57one as well. Why is it instead of trying
  183. 5:59to look for me to do something that I
  184. 6:01obviously at 50 years of age have
  185. 6:02absolutely no desire to do, why don't
  186. 6:04you get your ass up with your we are the
  187. 6:06world very colorful background and your
  188. 6:09one drop rule and your bloiations and
  189. 6:11your mastications and why aren't you
  190. 6:13running? Take your time and explain why
  191. 6:15you aren't the one running, sir. I'm
  192. 6:17very d I'm get I'm gonna get on my
  193. 6:21bizarro Dane Dash right now. I'm about
  194. 6:24to get on my bizarro dame dash and I'm
  195. 6:26answering.
  196. 6:28>> I'm sorry.
  197. 6:29>> The reason I say I'm about to give you a
  198. 6:31bizarro dame dash answer. Everything
  199. 6:33ain't for everybody with autism so
  200. 6:36affected symptomatic. You know, I've
  201. 6:38struggled with alcohol and drug use for
  202. 6:41many years of my life. Everything ain't
  203. 6:43for my position might not be to stand
  204. 6:45and be elected and do all of that stuff.
  205. 6:47Believe me, I've reached out to people
  206. 6:49like DL Ulley, Willie D, Pastor Michael
  207. 6:52Francis, um Ben Shapiro, and a lot of
  208. 6:55dudes cackle and when they see like,
  209. 6:57"Oh, it's that dude. You may not know me
  210. 7:00from no uh music scene or other stuff."
  211. 7:03But when a person realizes, okay, this
  212. 7:04dude can get me there. A lot of guys be
  213. 7:06like, it don't be no cuz I'm paying
  214. 7:08somebody else to do it. It's cuz they
  215. 7:10really don't have the gumption, the
  216. 7:12wherewithal to say, can I support
  217. 7:15everybody? And that do make a lot of
  218. 7:16sense. It's just that you struck me as
  219. 7:18somebody that even if people are
  220. 7:20undelitable, you can make a a government
  221. 7:23happen. For my city in Philadelphia,
  222. 7:25Pennsylvania, or maybe even higher. I
  223. 7:27ain't going to sit up and lie to myself.
  224. 7:28Now, bon is something else. People want
  225. 7:30to hurt people feelings, make people
  226. 7:32feel low. That's not difficult for
  227. 7:33somebody like me. There's songs for
  228. 7:35that. That's a very simple thing.
  229. 7:37R&Bwise, singing wise, rapw wise, I can
  230. 7:40make a song and hurt somebody's
  231. 7:41feelings. when it come to bidding that
  232. 7:43means people who hate Jews whether black
  233. 7:45Jews or whatever I'm sharing my own
  234. 7:47subdemographies African or project dude
  235. 7:50from Philly whatever and what that ain't
  236. 7:51difficult to do to bid and hurt people
  237. 7:53feeling that I know you know cuz you got
  238. 7:56them skills so I just wanted you to know
  239. 7:58my request was genuine I'm not going to
  240. 8:00sit there and try to hawk at you all day
  241. 8:02and snake oil like please man Mr.
  242. 8:04Anderson, look at this effed up society.
  243. 8:07But how many of them young boys that
  244. 8:08studied under you know how to say and
  245. 8:11bore it into your brain like oh yeah you
  246. 8:13know we know that you move in shape but
  247. 8:15damn shape if you was the governor or
  248. 8:17whatever Dr. Anderson it would be a lot
  249. 8:19easier. How many of them dudes that
  250. 8:21study up under you you know be wanting
  251. 8:23to say that them cats that you put on
  252. 8:24that you was interviewing and all of
  253. 8:26that. See a that is fun about
  254. 8:28>> No no no no. The reason they know that
  255. 8:29is because when I say I don't want to
  256. 8:30damn do something, they respect me
  257. 8:32enough as an elder and as a person
  258. 8:34that's put in the work, the person that
  259. 8:36has campaigned for presidents and
  260. 8:38governors and senators and congressmen
  261. 8:40and mayors that I'm not going to damn do
  262. 8:43it. And I'm damn sure, respectfully not
  263. 8:45going to do it for a stranger. But I
  264. 8:46appreciate you. I wish you the bel best
  265. 8:48in your mental health journey. But I
  266. 8:50have to wrap up my show. But thank you
  267. 8:51so much.
  268. 8:51>> I ain't on a journey.
  269. 8:53>> Some of the stuff that happens I can't
  270. 8:55even I wish that was a skit. I wish that
  271. 8:58was a bit I wish that was like Roy Wood
  272. 8:59Jr. or one of my other friends that does
  273. 9:01prank calls. But I promise you, I don't
  274. 9:03know that person. This is why you do not
  275. 9:06deal with This is why I tell y'all to
  276. 9:08stay off them narcotics. He ain't mess
  277. 9:10up the energy. I want Listen, I wanted
  278. 9:12him to keep cooking his meth. [laughter]
  279. 9:20This is why you don't do users are
  280. 9:23losers and losers are users. Don't do
  281. 9:26drugs. Don't use drugs. Winners don't
  282. 9:29use and users don't win. So don't do
  283. 9:32drugs. Don't do drugs.
  284. 9:37This is why sometimes I I'm an advocate
  285. 9:39for mental health. It's extremely
  286. 9:40important. I am very excited to announce
  287. 9:43that I am entering in a partnership with
  288. 9:46Amaze Commerce, which is my official
  289. 9:47merch store now. So I need y'all to go
  290. 9:49to the merch store. If you were thinking
  291. 9:51about getting something, I'm going to
  292. 9:52need y'all to get it today. I really
  293. 9:54appreciate your support. If you support
  294. 9:55at the 250 level for the album or at the
  295. 9:58$500 level and type in damn on the
  296. 10:00checkout, you're going to get 50% off.
  297. 10:02And I really want y'all to support the
  298. 10:04album. I'm going to see y'all later. Uh
  299. 10:06I love y'all so very much. Thanks for
  300. 10:08being here. I will check y'all out
  301. 10:09tomorrow.
  302. 10:11[music]
  303. 10:18[music]
  304. 10:22Did I wake up? Get your mind right. Real
  305. 10:25[music] talk, no fluff, no sidelines. We
  306. 10:28outside, bring the truth to the [music]
  307. 10:30sunrise.
  308. 10:31Yeah, we coming at the right time.
  309. 10:37[music]
  310. 10:39They made us more
  311. 10:44media just got dangerous.
