1. 0:00so this guy has two wives and I know you
2. 0:02might think like oh that sounds kind of
3. 0:04fun but this is about to be a disaster
4. 0:07for him now the guy's name is Mick and
5. 0:09Mick has an interesting lifestyle he's
6. 0:11living in Derby England with his wife
7. 0:14this woman mered but then at some point
8. 0:17he also moves his mistress into his home
9. 0:20this woman Lisa and so they all live
10. 0:22together there like one big happy family
11. 0:25so you know good for them but as the
12. 0:27years go by Mick keeps getting and Lisa
13. 0:31pregnant so they keep having mixed
14. 0:33babies and eventually they have a bunch
15. 0:35of kids here's the thing about Mick
16. 0:38though Mick doesn't work like he doesn't
17. 0:41have a job he lives off the government
18. 0:43in fact all of his income comes from
19. 0:46welfare benefits and with every new kid
20. 0:48he has he gets a little bit more money
21. 0:51from the government not to mention the
22. 0:53house he lives in is also public housing
23. 0:56so that's paid for by the government too
24. 0:58so bro is just moochin now eventually
25. 1:01over time Mick mered and Lisa they end
26. 1:04up having a total of 15 kids
27. 1:0815 kids which means there are 18 people
28. 1:12living in this house Mick mered Lisa and
29. 1:1615 children and they're all living in
30. 1:19this three bedroom home but then to make
31. 1:22it even worse mered and Lisa both get
32. 1:25pregnant again so what does Mick do well
33. 1:30he officially puts in a request for the
34. 1:32government to move his family to a
35. 1:35bigger house to accommodate for his
36. 1:37comically large family now this is such
37. 1:39a wild request that it actually makes
38. 1:42the local news and people hear about it
39. 1:44and they're really pissed off at Mick
40. 1:46they think he's taking advantage of
41. 1:48Public Services which yeah he is and so
42. 1:51Mick starts getting a lot of hate
43. 1:53publicly and a lot of local media
44. 1:55coverage but he ends up kind of liking
45. 1:58the attention like it feels good to him
46. 2:00and he ends up going on this Jerry
47. 2:02Springer type talk show called The
48. 2:04Jeremy Kyle show wife number one comes
49. 2:06to spend the night in the Caravan and
50. 2:08then the next night wife number two
51. 2:10comes oh great great and then he ends up
52. 2:13being in this documentary and that gets
53. 2:16pretty contentious you're a coward I
54. 2:18soon as a coward bit let's move it so
55. 2:20bro is just a mess but whatever he's
56. 2:23getting a little bit of pseudo Fame and
57. 2:25he seems to really be enjoying it so he
58. 2:27just keeps living his life not working
59. 2:30taking care of his kids and smashing
60. 2:32with merid and Lisa in a trailer he
61. 2:34keeps parked in their driveway I guess
62. 2:36there's always a bunch of kids in the
63. 2:38house so they have to go out to the
64. 2:39trailer in order to smash what kind of
65. 2:42hillbilly is this but anyway to
66. 2:45make it even more complicated I guess
67. 2:48Mick and mered are also swingers
68. 2:51question mark because at some point Mick
69. 2:53sets mered up with his buddy this guy
70. 2:56Paul because I guess Mick likes to watch
71. 2:59so Paul PA and mered smash while he sits
72. 3:02in the corner and watches M yeah so yeah
73. 3:06this family Dynamic is all sorts of
74. 3:08unorthodox but this is where the story
75. 3:11gets dark at some point in time Lisa
76. 3:14becomes very frustrated with this whole
77. 3:17situation because for a long time Mick
78. 3:19has been lying to her he's been
79. 3:21promising her that he's going to divorce
80. 3:23marade and be with her and only her
81. 3:26permanently yeah good luck with that now
82. 3:29obviously despite the fact that Mick has
83. 3:31been saying this for years he still
84. 3:33hasn't done it and at this point she is
85. 3:35tired of waiting she's tired of this
86. 3:37lifestyle she's tired of Smashing in a
87. 3:39trailer parked in the driveway she has
88. 3:42had enough and one day out of nowhere
89. 3:45boom Lisa straight up leaves and she
90. 3:47takes her five kids that she has with
91. 3:49Mick with her good for her and so as you
92. 3:52can imagine Mick is pissed I mean he
93. 3:55doesn't want Lisa to leave him he can't
94. 3:57have that but more than that he
95. 3:59definitely doesn't want to lose custody
96. 4:01of the kids because that will affect
97. 4:03those sweet benefits payments he's
98. 4:04getting from the government and so Mick
99. 4:06comes up with this wild plan to be able
100. 4:09to keep the kids and all the government
101. 4:12benefits first he'll start a fire in the
102. 4:15house while everyone's home then he'll
103. 4:17swoop in and heroically rescue his and
104. 4:20Mer's kids then he'll frame Lisa for the
105. 4:23arson he'll say she started the fire and
106. 4:25tried to burn the house down that way
107. 4:27she'll get in trouble she'll go to
108. 4:29prison and he'll get to keep all 15 of
109. 4:32the kids and he'll keep getting those
110. 4:34welfare checks that's the perfect plan
111. 4:37what could possibly go wrong now Mick
112. 4:40knows he can't pull this off alone so he
113. 4:42asks merid if she wants to help him set
114. 4:45their own house on fire and frame Lisa
115. 4:48and mared's like I then he asks Paul and
116. 4:52Paul agrees to help too so a few months
117. 4:55later after Lisa has moved out he sets
118. 4:57his plan into motion now now on this
119. 5:00particular day there are only six kids
120. 5:03in the house Mer's kids the rest either
121. 5:06moved out with Lisa or they're staying
122. 5:08elsewhere and so it's really early in
123. 5:10the morning and Mick mered mared's kids
124. 5:13are all inside and the kids are all
125. 5:16still asleep in their beds and so Paul
126. 5:18he comes over to Mick's house and he has
127. 5:20a can of gasoline and he goes inside and
128. 5:23he pours it at the foot of the stairs
129. 5:26and Kaboom he lights the place on fire
130. 5:29and as soon as everything's ignited Mick
131. 5:31and meray theyd run outside and they
132. 5:33watch as the Flames engulf the house so
133. 5:36everything is going as planned so Mick
134. 5:38he calls 999 which is the UK's 911 and
135. 5:42while the fire service is on their way
136. 5:44now it's time to swoop in and rescue the
137. 5:47kids and look like a total hero so Mick
138. 5:50and Paul they try to run in the house
139. 5:52and immediately pow they're hit with a
140. 5:54thick wall of smoke and heat the fire
141. 5:57has already gotten too big too fast and
142. 6:00they try again and again but there's
143. 6:03just no way they can safely get inside
144. 6:06and as much as the fire and smoke or
145. 6:08keeping Mick out it's also keeping the
146. 6:11kids in they're trapped they're trapped
147. 6:14and there's no way for them to escape
148. 6:16now remember Paul poured the gasoline at
149. 6:18the foot of the stairs which is their
150. 6:20only path to the front door and so the
151. 6:22Flames are just too big for them to get
152. 6:24around so one by one they all succumb to
153. 6:28smoke inhalation and one by one they all
154. 6:31end up un alived five of them die in the
155. 6:35house that day and one of them dies 2
156. 6:37days later in the hospital now this was
157. 6:40not the way the plan was supposed to go
158. 6:42and Mick and marade they don't know what
159. 6:44to do so they keep the lie going they
160. 6:47tell everyone that they're devastated
161. 6:49and they hold a press conference and
162. 6:51they put on this whole show for the
163. 6:53cameras I've actually been down to my
164. 6:55our our home and what we saw we just we
165. 6:58just cannot believe
166. 7:00and so because their home is now burnt
167. 7:03down Mick and merid are put up in a
168. 7:05hotel and now remember the fire
169. 7:07initially started near the bottom of the
170. 7:10stairs inside the house and police
171. 7:13during their investigation they learned
172. 7:14the fire started inside the house and
173. 7:17they get suspicious suspicious of this
174. 7:19whole incident and detectives end up
175. 7:22bugging the hotel room that Mick and
176. 7:24merid are staying in and during their
177. 7:26surveillance they overhear Mick marade
178. 7:29and Paul all in the hotel room they
179. 7:31actually overhear them smashing I mean
180. 7:33they literally hear them smashing but
181. 7:35more importantly they hear them talking
182. 7:38trying to get their story straight and
183. 7:40so boom they arrest all three of them
184. 7:43and I don't have mug shots but here's
185. 7:45Mick in real life and they end up going
186. 7:48to trial and they're all found guilty
187. 7:50and merid is sentenced to 17 years in
188. 7:53prison Paul is also sentenced to 17
189. 7:55years in prison while Mick gets life
190. 7:59good
