15. 0:50you know when i first rehearsed about
16. 0:51heard about the premise of this film i
17. 0:52was like oh getting kind of goosebumps
18. 0:54all over my arms and then i see this
19. 0:55trailer and i'm going oh my god i
20. 0:57couldn't in a million years ever imagine
21. 0:59being on a table for surgery and being
22. 1:02able to hear everything that's going on
23. 1:04that is just creepy did this script
24. 1:06actually creep you guys out at first oh
25. 1:09yeah yeah i mean
26. 1:10you know just just the concept you
27. 1:12didn't have to read the script you know
28. 1:13you just got the pitch from your agent
29. 1:14saying what it was about you're like oh
30. 1:17you know
31. 1:18the worst thing ever it's it's a
32. 1:20terrifying thought and and the script
33. 1:22you know explores that fear in a really
34. 1:26sort of interesting way and
35. 1:28um and the way it sort of affects the
36. 1:30characters um
37. 1:32uh i think makes for a good story yeah
38. 1:35now you know this is a real occurrence
39. 1:36apparently it could happen you know
40. 1:42awareness is what it's called did you
41. 1:43guys have to you know kind of research
42. 1:45into that sure
43. 1:47you know it's in the hundreds of
44. 1:48thousands each year oh it really is yeah
45. 1:51um
46. 1:52did you do any studying on it
47. 1:55not really i mean i didn't i didn't
48. 1:57really need to sit down with people who
49. 1:58who had had this happen to them just
50. 2:00because
51. 2:01your imagination you know does the work
52. 2:03for you yeah you you didn't have to do
53. 2:05too much
54. 2:06you can just you can just you know think
55. 2:09about it think about it and and it all
56. 2:10becomes very real and
57. 2:12you know when we were
58. 2:14filming you know any scene that sort of
59. 2:16took place in that operating room
60. 2:19um you know i just
61. 2:21for myself i had a hard time with it
62. 2:23just just because you spent so much time
63. 2:25thinking about it and then when you
64. 2:26actually are in that environment um i
65. 2:28you know i i would it would affect me
66. 2:31yeah um for both of you it's a little
67. 2:32bit different it's a you know thriller
68. 2:34and there's a lot of twists and turns a
69. 2:35lot of good stuff going on is it you
70. 2:37both looking for you know to move on
71. 2:38careers looking for different types of
72. 2:40things to do are we looking for
73. 2:42different types of things to do other
74. 2:43than the action movies that we've done i
75. 2:45think we are yeah
76. 2:48it's nice to have you know for me
77. 2:50personally it's nice to be able to
78. 2:52explore a relationship and play a human
79. 2:54being
80. 2:55um
81. 2:56yeah that feels tangible
82. 2:58and uh yeah it was it was it was lovely
83. 3:01playing opposite hayden and and also
84. 3:04seeing him you know as this man
85. 3:07um in the relationship because i've only
86. 3:08really seen you as kind of a boy yeah i
87. 3:11was it was
88. 3:13your first uh love scene kind of
89. 3:16yeah up it's interesting that we're
90. 3:18watching you grow up on screen like that
91. 3:19so you know it was embarrassing that was
92. 3:21horrible
93. 3:23horrible well it was kind of terrifying
94. 3:25it was just you know i was nervous i was
95. 3:27nervous too
96. 3:29oh yeah you guys are pros come on yeah
97. 3:32we're pros but like that stuff still
98. 3:34freaks you out a little bit yeah i can
99. 3:36run around in tights and he can have his
100. 3:38lightsaber thing and yeah that's okay
101. 3:40because that's really pretend that's
102. 3:41really pretending
103. 3:42in a situation where you're like you're
104. 3:44like strangers all becomes real
105. 3:47yeah yeah absolutely and great cast in
106. 3:49this too i mean from lena olin to
107. 3:51terence howard like that that's just a
108. 3:52pretty good big deal this film amazing
109. 3:55yeah you know um both of them you know i
110. 3:58uh
111. 3:59i was a big fan of of terence's um
112. 4:02you know and uh i was really excited
113. 4:05that he was he was you know in the film
114. 4:07and and lena olen uh
115. 4:10uh
116. 4:11is really really good as well yeah
117. 4:13wonderful jessica's amazing in the film
118. 4:15great actor um jessica very quickly you
119. 4:17just recently wrapped up a shooting love
120. 4:19guru here in toronto with mike myers i
121. 4:21mean how much fun did you have on that
122. 4:25um i'm not done shooting oh you'll be
123. 4:27back to toronto tonight so the rain
124. 4:30doesn't sound very good to me it's just
125. 4:32drizzly it's not too bad don't worry
126. 4:33okay
127. 4:34do you have a lot of fun you're having
128. 4:35fun you do in toronto and it's so
129. 4:37freezing cold in the rain you just like
130. 4:39go underground and hang out in the malls
131. 4:41all day absolutely okay
132. 4:44and i felt a little bit like a mouse or
133. 4:46something hayden are you giving her good
134. 4:48tips on where to go where to eat what to
135. 4:50do no he's not giving me good tips on
136. 4:52where to go he's all fun in ireland
137. 4:53hanging out
138. 4:55getting a tan it's a tough life and and
139. 4:57hey would you want to ask you quickly
140. 4:58about jumper because that's finally
141. 5:00coming to
142. 5:01theaters next year soon that you know
143. 5:03that you got to work here in town as
144. 5:05well

147. 5:12um that you shot in toronto i shot a lot
148. 5:14of in toronto uh which was uh great i
149. 5:17hadn't done a film in toronto um before
150. 5:20and obviously that's where
151. 5:21i'm from so it was nice to be so close
152. 5:24to my family and friends and um
153. 5:26and then you know the film is about um
154. 5:28this guy who learns how to teleport so
155. 5:31we were actually all over the place we
156. 5:33we filmed all over the world but did a
157. 5:35lot of it in toronto which is very cool
158. 5:36well best of luck to both of you with
