1. 0:00So, Hasan Piker is now Vaush. Hasan
2. 0:02Piker is literally just Vaush. He's the
3. 0:05exact same. His opinions are
4. 0:06indistinguishable. Something that you
5. 0:08will notice with people like Hasan Piker
6. 0:10is that they become less and less
7. 0:12radical over time, the closer in
8. 0:14proximity they get to the mainstream. As
9. 0:16they get closer and closer to the
10. 0:17mainstream, they get more and more
11. 0:19benefits from that proximity, and they
12. 0:21become more and more incentivized to get
13. 0:24more and more closer to it still. They
14. 0:26deradicalize rapidly at an incredibly
15. 0:29rapid pace. And you see that phenomenon
16. 0:31so clearly with Hasan Piker to the point
17. 0:34that he's making arguments that Vaush
18. 0:35made in 2020 to justify voting for Joe
19. 0:38Biden. One of the most embarrassing
20. 0:40things that I've ever seen. So, firstly,
21. 0:42the background on this is that back in
22. 0:442020, the like centrist YouTuber Vaush,
23. 0:49who likes to posture as a leftist, but
24. 0:50everyone knows he's just a like
25. 0:52mainstream Democrat-supporting centrist,
26. 0:54started like mischaracterizing
27. 0:57uh Lenin quotes in order to advocate for
28. 0:59vote voting for Biden. Now, first, I
29. 1:01just want to note that Marxist
30. 1:03um theory is not a Bible, it's not a
31. 1:05religious text. Marxist theorists were
32. 1:08wrong about many things, or in some
33. 1:10cases, the things they wrote can't
34. 1:12simply so simply be applied to a totally
35. 1:14different circumstance 120 years later.
36. 1:16So, just like citing them as if they
37. 1:18were authorities in the first place is
38. 1:19already honestly pretty embarrassing.

52. 1:47where he was talking about um what uh
53. 1:49people in England should do
54. 1:52in the electoral system there. And he
55. 1:53was saying that people in England should
56. 1:56join the Labour Party, which back then
57. 1:59wasn't like what it is today. It was
58. 2:01like a Labour Party as in a party of
59. 2:04labor that had most of its base in
60. 2:06actual working class people. And his
61. 2:08idea was that you should join the Labour
62. 2:10Party and because it's like a place
63. 2:13where so many like um
64. 2:15working class people are congregating.
65. 2:17And you should like try and like um
66. 2:19radicalize them to communism or whatever
67. 2:20from within. Now,
68. 2:22the Labour Party since then has
69. 2:24obviously changed and it is not it's
70. 2:26obviously no longer a party of labor at
71. 2:28all. So, you cannot so simply apply this
72. 2:30to today. But Vaush was saying, "Le-
73. 2:33Look, Lenin was saying that you should
74. 2:36join the Labour Party in like 1890
75. 2:39Britain. That means you should join the
76. 2:40Democratic Party today and vote for Joe
77. 2:42Biden." And obviously the Democratic
78. 2:44Party is not a party of labor at all.
79. 2:46So, it was just a a ludicrous argument
80. 2:48in the face of it and a great example of
81. 2:50how you how you know, people either
82. 2:53misunderstand what these people are
83. 2:54saying or are too uncritical to
84. 2:57understand how it doesn't apply or might
85. 2:58just be wrong sometimes. Obviously, the
86. 3:00Democratic Party is not a party like an
87. 3:02authentic party of authentic working
88. 3:05class people that is specifically made
89. 3:08to be a party of labor and advocates
90. 3:09specifically for the interest of working
91. 3:11class people. Like the the the British
92. 3:13Labour Party at one point had like lots
93. 3:16of um working class people in it to the
94. 3:18point where it could maybe be said to be
95. 3:19something like that, but obviously not

116. 4:02that the average American thinks it's

120. 4:09supporting someone like Graham Plater
