- 2:05My beloved brothers and sisters,
- 2:09many of us are living in lives
- 2:12of hardship and suffer.
- 2:15We are struggling in many angles.
- 2:18We're struggling in many different
- 2:20perspectives.
- 2:23Whether it be our marriages,
- 2:26whether it be our business, whether it
- 2:28be our relationship with our parents,
- 2:31whether it be our relationship with our
- 2:34children, with the larger society,
- 2:38people are facing something Allah told
- 2:41us 1,400 years ago.
- 2:44Allah, he said in the Quran,
- 2:54The person who turns away from my
- 2:56revelation,
- 2:58who does not follow what I commanded
- 3:00them to follow, who does not stay away
- 3:02from what I told them stay away from.
- 3:05Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he said they
- 3:08will live a very hard life.
- 3:12This is Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala saying
- 3:14this.
- 3:17Anyone who turns away from my
- 3:19remembrance my remembrance
- 3:24you're going to live a very hard life
- 3:27that hard life will be what in your
- 3:29marriage it will be in your business it
- 3:33would be with your children at work you
- 3:37will struggle and you will suffer and
- 3:40now the question that you you need to
- 3:42ask yourself and that you need to know
- 3:44my brothers and sisters is why is this
- 3:47suffering and this pain that we see us
- 3:50living in and those around us are living
- 3:52in. We can't deny it and pretend that it
- 3:55doesn't exist. We can't deny and not say
- 3:58the truth and what we are seeing. Allah
- 4:01subhanahu wa ta'ala he has never sent
- 4:05down a problem except that there is a
- 4:07solution for it.
- 4:10Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he says
- 4:19Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he says the
- 4:22evil has become apparent on this earth
- 4:26and it also has become apparent on the
- 4:28desert and also it has become apparent
- 4:31on the sea
- 4:34because of that which the people have
- 4:37put forth it's our own doings. It's our
- 4:41own actions.
- 4:43Nothing more, nothing less. We are
- 4:45sinning publicly.
- 4:48We are sinning privately.
- 4:51We are not ashamed that Allah subhanahu
- 4:53wa ta'ala is looking at us.
- 4:55Allah he says in the Quran,
- 5:04this is how we deal with them. And it's
- 5:07because of their transgression and them
- 5:10not doing what they were told to do and
- 5:12not staying away from what they were
- 5:14told to stay away from.
- 5:22He's forgiven us for a lot. He's not
- 5:25holding us account to many of what we've
- 5:27done. He's merciful towards us. Just the
- 5:31other day, my brothers and sisters, in
- 5:33the UK, in this country, which nearly
- 5:37rains every single day, the rain stopped
- 5:44had to be prayed in London.
- 5:47Why?
- 5:49Every single action, sins that people do
- 5:53has an effect even on the weather.
- 5:56Why didl
- 5:58Why was he kicked out of the gathering
- 6:00of the angels? It was sins that he did.
- 6:03He disobeyed Allah and he was taken out
- 6:06of Jalah. Why did Allah subhana wa
- 6:09ta'ala destroy?
- 6:11It was because of sins.
- 6:13The people of
- 6:16Why were they all destroyed? It was
- 6:19because of sins. The people of N because
- 6:22of sins. My brothers and sisters, sins
- 6:26destroys. It is destroying us day by
- 6:30day.
- 6:32Children are disobedient to their
- 6:34parents. They're not listening to them.
- 6:37They're speaking back to their mothers
- 6:39and fathers. There's a punishment to
- 6:41this.
- 6:43Haram income is being brought into the
- 6:46house. Allah is not feared. Is this
- 6:49money halal or is it haram? Doesn't
- 6:51matter. houses on mortgage war with
- 6:55Allah it doesn't matter
- 6:57haram relationship zena doesn't matter
- 7:02listening to music doesn't matter all of
- 7:05this careless and that is why that is
- 7:09why my brothers and sisters were
- 7:10suffering
- 7:12my brothers
- 7:14the prophet he told the companions
- 7:16something one day
- 7:18these are people who are hiding their
- 7:20sins what about those who showing their
- 7:23sins. The prophet he said
- 7:36I know the prophet. He said,
- 7:40"A people
- 7:42from my
- 7:44will come
- 7:48righteous deeds they would come with and
- 7:51their deeds is as big and as clear as
- 7:56the mountain of
- 8:03Allah will make their righteous deeds
- 8:05that they did null and void.
- 8:07All of it will be destroyed.
- 8:11The Sahabas were shocked.
- 8:15Allah, our messenger of Allah, who are
- 8:17these people, describe these people to
- 8:21us, my brothers, their salah,
- 8:24their fasting, their zakat, their
- 8:30all of their righteous deeds,
- 8:34all of it has gone.
- 8:37They said, "Oh messenger of Allah, who
- 8:39are these people so that we can stay
- 8:42away from what they've done?
- 8:45Describe these people for us." The
- 8:48prophet he said,
- 8:58They are brothers
- 9:01and they are like you guys, human
- 9:03beings. They are brothers.
- 9:07They pray the way that you pray.
- 9:11But they pray at night when no one can
- 9:13see them
- 9:17at the night. They wake up and they
- 9:19pray. They pray as well. So why are
- 9:24these people's righteous deeds been
- 9:26destroyed?
- 9:32This is their crime. When they are alone
- 9:36and no one can see them and they're by
- 9:38themselves, the sins that come to their
- 9:41mind, they do it.
- 9:45But they are a people.
- 9:49They don't care about Allah being the
- 9:51one that can see them.
- 9:56Allah is looking at them. Subhanahu wa
- 9:57ta'ala and they've made Allah
- 10:03the lowest of those that look. They will
- 10:06not dare to do that in front of a
- 10:08respected person. They will drink that
- 10:12that no one can see behind closed doors,
- 10:15commit zena, watch indeent things. They
- 10:19think no one can see, but they've made
- 10:22Allah the lowest of those who look
- 10:29when they are by themselves. No one can
- 10:32see them. They will do that sin.
- 10:36My brothers, what will you say the day
- 10:37of judgment?
- 10:49What will you say the day of judgment?
- 10:51If Allah says to you,
- 10:58"Are you not shy of me? Why are you
- 11:02sinning? You wouldn't do that in front
- 11:04of a ruler. You would not exceed your
- 11:07boundaries with him. I set boundaries. I
- 11:11said, for
- 11:35the prophet told us in that hadith,
- 11:38Allah set boundaries. He does not want
- 11:41you to exceed it. We go to the haram day
- 11:45and night. If Allah asks you and says to
- 11:49you,
- 11:57you were shy of the people. You were
- 12:00considerate of what you said in front of
- 12:02the people. But for me,
- 12:05you didn't take anything into
- 12:07consideration. Brothers, let's revise
- 12:09our actions. Let's revise the things
- 12:12that we're saying. Look back at it
- 12:13again. How are we with our parents? How
- 12:17are we with our family members? How are
- 12:20we with the community? And how are we in
- 12:22our private deeds that we do?
- 12:26Why has sins become normal for us?
- 12:31Why have we standardized the haram?
- 12:34A person who sees the haram to be normal
- 12:38is a person who's careless about Allah
- 12:40subhanana wa ta'ala. And that is no
- 12:42doubt a reason for a person to be
- 12:45abandoned the day of judgment.
- 12:48My brothers and sisters, the time has
- 12:50come that we reflect, that we think, and
- 12:54that we ponder on what we say. Allah
- 12:57knows everything that we do.
- 13:21What is left of our lives is very little
- 13:24now. We can rectify it now and ask Allah
- 13:27for forgiveness.
- 13:38Alhamdulillah.
- 14:02My brothers and sisters, the prophet
- 14:04sallallahu alaihi wasallam he said
- 14:16if you see a person Allah is giving to
- 14:19him subhanahu wa ta'ala Allah is
- 14:22favoring him. Allah is giving him
- 14:25blessings after blessings and that
- 14:27person is committing sins. This person
- 14:31should know that this is
- 14:37what he means. Allah is coming for you.
- 14:40You will be destroyed. The prophet then
- 14:43recited the verse.
- 14:58Allah he says these individuals they did
- 15:02sins they did crimes and Allah opened
- 15:05doors for them. He gave them a lot.
- 15:12All of the doors were open for them.
- 15:14They got blessings after blessings. They
- 15:17sinned. Blessings came. So what did they
- 15:20think to themselves? They thought they
- 15:23were not going to be punished. They
- 15:25thought Allah was not coming for them.
- 15:27Then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala came and
- 15:30when he came he destroyed them subhanahu
- 15:33wa ta'ala and he made them suffer. The
- 15:36adab of Allah will come.
- 15:45Blessings are also a test. There also
- 15:49can be in a form of punishments. We need
- 15:52to be careful brothers and sisters. The
- 15:54rain not coming down is my brothers and
- 15:57sisters sin. The crops not coming out is
- 16:01because of sins. Our children losing
- 16:04them is because of sins. Every single
- 16:07thing
- 16:10he says it is because of what you and I
- 16:14have done. We need to go back to Allah
- 16:17subhanahu wa ta'ala. My brothers, don't
- 16:19make this something you hear and you go
- 16:23back and you don't do anything about it.
- 16:25Let's rectify our situation. Each and
- 16:28every one of us youngsters, you have
- 16:31parents. Your mom and your dad are
- 16:34alive. That is a door to Jenna that's
- 16:36still open for you. benefit from your
- 16:39parents, their advice, the words that
- 16:42they tell you before that door gets
- 16:44closed. Don't disobey your mom. Don't
- 16:48disobey your fathers. It has a severe
- 16:50punishment that comes with it. Allah
- 16:53subhanahu wa ta'ala he placed underneath
- 16:56your mother's feet ja it's a means for
- 17:00you to enter Jenna thinking that you're
- 17:03practicing the dean and both of your
- 17:05parents are upset with you.
- 17:08You are a person who's destroyed. You
- 17:11did not understand what it means to
- 17:13practice the religion. Your parents,
- 17:16youngsters, take their advice. Consult
- 17:19them and listen to them. They were
- 17:21patient with you when they were raising
- 17:23you. They went through a lot of hardship
- 17:26to raise you. Now that you've grown, you
- 17:29manage to understand or think to
- 17:31yourself that you know it all. You do
- 17:33not know nothing. They're the ones who
- 17:36understand. They still have your good at
- 17:39heart. Fear Allah regarding your
- 17:42parents. Parents, fear Allah regarding
- 17:45your children. You will be asked the day
- 17:47of judgment.
- 17:48Forsaking them, you will be asked. And
- 17:51when you get asked, you have to have an
- 17:53answer for how you raise these children.
- 17:56Do not abandon them. Be their friends.
- 18:01The first seven years of their life. Let
- 18:04them play. The second seven years of
- 18:08their life,
- 18:10discipline them. And the third seven
- 18:13years of their life,
- 18:15befriend them. If your child is past the
- 18:19age of 21, it's a time to be friends
- 18:22with them. Talk to them. Give them the
- 18:26advices that you can.
- 18:29You will be questioned.
- 18:34All of you are responsible and you'll be
- 18:36asked about that which you were made
- 18:38responsibles. Women fear Allah regarding
- 18:41the affairs of your husband. If you
- 18:44think today you can get away with what
- 18:46you want to say and act in the way that
- 18:48you want to remember you will be
- 18:51questioned regarding your husband the
- 18:53day of judgment. Allah subhanahu wa
- 18:55ta'ala has placed responsibility on you
- 18:58sister towards your husband and husbands
- 19:02you have been made responsible of this
- 19:04family take your responsibility serious
- 19:08every single one of those things if it's
- 19:12not done accordingly the consequences
- 19:15will not be Good.
- 19:26All
- 19:37foreign.
