- 4:21Slytherin. Slytherin. Don't be in Slytherin. Dad,
- 4:23he won't stop saying it. James, give it a rest. I only said he might be
- 4:27in Slytherin, and he might. So, what? All you have to do is walk straight at the wall between
- 4:31platforms 9 and 10. I'm so excited. Best to do a little bit of a run if you're nervous.
- 4:42I'm ready.
- 4:47So, this is it. Platform 9 in 3/4. Where are they late again? Why are they always late?
- 4:58Hi. Hi. Parked. All right, then. I did. Hermione didn't believe I could pass a
- 5:03Michael driving test, did you? She thought I'd have to confront the examiner. I thought nothing
- 5:09of the kind. I have complete faith in you. And I have complete faith he did confront the examiner.
- 5:21Dad, do you think what if I'm put into Slytherin? And what if you are? Slytherin is the house of of
- 5:30snakes and dark magic, not a house of brave wizards. Albus Crisis, you're named after
- 5:35two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of which was a Slytherin, and he was probably the bravest man I
- 5:40ever knew. I know, but if it matters that much to you, then the sorting hat will take your feelings
- 5:46into account. Really? It did for me. Hogwarts is going to be the making of you, Alvis. I promise.
- 5:55Now, if you don't want the train to leave without you, I suggest you leap on.
- 6:03Bye, Dad. Bye, James. Have fun.
- 6:08Rose, remember to send Neville our love. Mom, I can't give a professor love. Oh, come on.
- 6:16Okay then. Bye.
- 6:24You know, Jen, we always thought that there was a chance that you could be sorted in Slytherin.
- 6:28What? Honestly, Fred and George ran a book. What? Can we go? People are staring. You know,
- 6:36it's probably because of me. I mean, I am quite famous. Hi. Yes, it's me, Ron Weasley. Hello. Nice
- 6:40to meet you. People always look when you three are together and apart. People always look at you.
- 6:47Come Harry. He'll be all right, won't he? Of course he will, Lily.
- 7:30Candy from the trolley. Pumpkin pastry. Cauldron cakes. Chocolate roll.
- 7:39Ow. We need to concentrate. Concentrate on what? On who we choose to be friends with.
- 7:44My mom and dad met your dad on the first year of Hogwarts Express, you know. So,
- 7:49we have to choose now who we want to be friends with for life. That's quite scary.
- 7:58Uh, excuse me. Is this car free? Oh, hi. It's just me. We might just come in. Yes. Okay. Hi.
- 8:09Would you like to try some of my candies? I've got frizzing whisies chocolate chucking
- 8:12chocolate frogs. Mom's idea. She says, "Sweet. I always help you make bread for [laughter]
- 8:19stupid idea. Probably." No, no, it's it's brilliant. I'll have one. Which one would
- 8:23you suggest? Oh, that's easy. I've always regarded the pepper imps as the king of the confeury bag.
- 8:28They're peppermint candies that make you vomit rainbows. Awesome. I'll have one.
- 8:33Gross. Would you please stop hitting me? I'm not hitting you. You are hitting me and it hurts.
- 8:38She's hitting you because of me. What? I know who you are, so it's probably only fair you
- 8:43know who I am. What do you mean you know who I am? You're Albus Potter. She's Rose Granger Weasley.
- 8:49I'm Scorpius Malfoy. My parents are Atoria and Draco Malfoy. Our parents, they um they didn't get
- 8:57along. That's putting it mildly. Your mom and dad are death eaters. Dad was, but mom wasn't. Listen,
- 9:03I know the rumor and it's a lie. What's the rumor? That my parents couldn't have children.
- 9:09That my father and grandfather were so desperate for powerful air that they that they used a time
- 9:14turner to send my mother back. Send her back where the rumor is that he's Voldemort's son, Albus.
- 9:24I mean, it's probably rubbish. Look, you've got a nose. And it's just like my father's.
- 9:31I've got his nose and I've got his name. Not that that's a great thing either. I mean, father-son
- 9:35issues. I have them. Still, I'd rather be a Malfoy than the son of a dark lord. [laughter]
- 9:45Yes. Well, we should probably sit somewhere else then. Come on, Alvis. No, I'll stay.
- 9:50Albus, come on. You go. Fine.
- 9:56Thank you. No, no, no. I didn't stay for you. I stayed for your
- 10:02sweets. Do you prefer Albus or Al? Uh, Albus. Thank you for staying for my sweets. Albus
- 10:17[screaming]
- 10:17Potter. A Potter and I His eyes. His eyes. Look at his eyes. Got eyes just like him.
- 10:23And he's my cousin. Rose Granger Weasley, daughter of Mini Granger, Mr. Fagic. Nice to meet you.
- 10:35I've done this job for centuries. On every student's head, I've sat
- 10:40of thoughts. I take inventories. For I'm the famous sorting hat.
- 10:45I've sorted high, I've sorted low. I've done this job through thick and thin.
- 10:51So, put me on and you will know which house you shall be in. Rose Granger Weasley.
- 11:09[groaning]
- 11:10Gryffindor. Hey, Dumbledore. Scorpius. Malfoy.
- 11:27Slytherin. Slytherin.
- 11:28Slytherin. Well, that makes sense. Albus Potter.
- 11:33[clears throat]
- 11:54Slytherin. Slytherin. Whoa. Or putter in Slytherin. You can stand next to me.
- 12:03Right, Albus. But this is wrong. This is not how it's supposed to be.
- 12:18Well, another potter. Given your parentage, this should be a cinch.
- 12:24Come on, Albus. Show us how it's done. Stick your hands out over your broom and say up.
- 12:34Up,
- 12:39up, [laughter] up. Oh, Marlin's beard. How humiliating.
- 12:45He really isn't like his father at all, is he? Albus Potter, the Slytherin squib. [laughter]
- 12:53Okay,
- 12:56children. Time to fly.
- 13:13Thomas, look.
- 13:14I'm I'm just asking, Dad, if you'll if you just stand a little away from me.
- 13:18The second years don't like to be seen with their dads. Is that it? No, it's just you're you and I'm
- 13:24me. It's just people looking. Okay. People look and they're looking at me, not you. [laughter]
- 13:32At Harry Potter and his Slytherin son. Al. My name's Alice, not Al.
- 13:37Are the other kids being unkind? Is that it? Maybe if you tried to make a few more friends.
- 13:43Without Hermione and Ron, I wouldn't have survived Hogwarts. I don't need Hermione and Ron, Dad.
- 13:48I've got a friend, Scorpius. And I know you don't like him, but he's all I need.
- 14:00I need a favor, Draco. These rumors about my son's parentage don't seem to be going away.
- 14:06The students at Hogwarts teased Scorpius about it relentlessly. If the ministry could release
- 14:11a statement reaffirming that all the time Turners were destroyed. Just let it blow over.
- 14:15They'll soon move on. My son is suffering and his mother a story hasn't been well recently.
- 14:20He needs all the support he can get. If you answer the gossip,
- 14:23you feed the gossip. The ministry for your sake as well as ours must steer. Well clear.
- 14:39We can stop talking once we get on the train. I know. We just need to keep the
- 14:43pretense up in front of the grown-ups. Hi, Rose. Bye, Alvis. She's melting.
- 14:56Albus Potter and irrelevant. Even portraits turn the other way as he climbs up the stairs.
- 15:01And [music] now we add is it horn of bicorn? Yeah. Yeah. Leave it
- 15:05to him in Voldemort's child, I'd say. Um, and with a little salamander blood.
- 15:13Okay. What's the counter ingredient? What do we need to change? Everything.
- 15:21Third year, big year. Here's your permission form for Hogsme. I hate Hogmead. How can you hate a
- 15:27place you haven't actually visited yet? Cuz I know it'll be full of Hogwarts students. Just
- 15:31give it a try. Come on, Alur. This is your chance to go nuts and honey, Dukes.
- 15:39No, don't you dare. Incendio. Oh, of all the stupid things. The funny thing is,
- 15:46I didn't I didn't actually expect that to work. I'm terrible at that spell. Albdus, Professor
- 15:53McGonagal says you're isolating yourself. You're uncooperative in lessons. You're you're stirly.
- 15:58What do you want me to do, Dad? Magic myself popular. Conjure myself into a new house.
- 16:04You cast a spell and change me into what you want me to be. Okay. It'll work better for both of us.
- 16:19Scorpios,
- 16:22is everything okay?
- 16:29It's your mom. It's gotten worse. It's got the worst it possibly could get.
- 16:37If there's anything I can do, come to the funeral. Be my friend.
- 16:48Are you afraid of what you'll hear? Afraid I'll speak the name you fear.
- 16:53Not Slytherin, not Gryffindor, not Hufflepuff, not Ravenclaw.
- 16:58Don't worry, child. I know my job. You'll learn to laugh if first you sock. Lily Potter.
- 17:19Gryffindor. Yes. Great. What' you expect? Potters don't belong in Slytherin. This one does.
- 17:29I I I didn't choose. Okay. I I didn't choose to be his son.
- 17:33Heat. Heat.
- 17:43Heat. Heat. N.

- 18:40[music]
- 18:46[music] Woo! [cheering and applause]
- 19:18[applause]
- 19:27Amos, I understand. I really do. But my children start school again tomorrow.
- 19:31I've tried to make an appointment at the ministry and they say, "Ah, Mr. Digory,
- 19:38we have an appointment for you in 2 months and coming to my house in the middle of the
- 19:41night. You're shutting me out." Of course, I'm not. It's just as head of the department
- 19:45of magical law enforcement, I'm responsible for There's plenty you're responsible for.
- 19:51Sorry. My son Cedric. You do remember Cedric, don't you? Yes, I remember your son. His loss.
- 20:01Voldemort wanted you, not my son. You told him yourself. The words he said would kill the spare.
- 20:10My son, my beautiful son, was a spare. Mr. Digory, as you know, I sympathize with you.
- 20:16I'm here to ask you, peg you, to help me get him back. Get him back? Amos, that's not possible.
- 20:25The Ministry of the Time Turner, was it not? The time turners were all destroyed years ago.
- 20:32Really? I've just heard rumor, strong rumor, that the ministry plans to seize a time turner from the
- 20:40North. Let me use that time turner. Let me have my sun pack. Amos, playing with time. You know we
- 20:48can't do that. How many people have died for the boy who lived? I'm asking you to save one of them.
- 20:58Whatever you've heard, the Theodore not story is a fiction. Amos, I'm sorry.
- 21:06Hello. Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to startle. I used to be a big stare listener myself. Uh,
- 21:13who are you? Cuz this is sort of my house. And of course,
- 21:16I'm Dolphie Digory. I work for St. Oswald's Home for Old Wizards.
- 21:21Are you Albus Potter? So Harry is your dad. That's a bit wow, isn't it? Not really.
- 21:32Have I just stuck my foot in it? That's what they used to say about me at school. Delini Diggery.
- 21:37There isn't a hole she couldn't dig herself into. They do all sorts of mining, too. Delelfie,
- 21:49we don't choose who we're related to. Amos isn't just my patient. He's my uncle.
- 21:54It's tough to live with people stuck in the past, isn't it? Die.
- 22:02Yes, uncle. Eat the once great Harry Potter,
- 22:08thou stone cold ministry man. Selfie my chair. Yes, uncle.
- 22:15[music]
- 22:22[music]
- 22:28[music]
- 22:35[music]
- 22:42James, Lily, Albus,
- 22:52my hair. James, [music] please ignore your hair and tell your damn room. How
- 22:56can I ignore it? It's pink. I'm going to use my invisibility cloak. [music]
- 23:02Lily, you've got to finish packing. Who seen my potions? B. Lily,
- 23:06you better not be taking my invisibility cloak again. I did it. Yes, you did. [music]
- 23:24Hi Just delivering a pre Hogwarts gift. Gifts. Ron sent this.
- 23:34A love potion. Really? I think it's a joke about I don't know actually. Lily got farting gnomes.
- 23:43James got a comb that turns his hair bright pink. Ron Well, Ron's Ron, you know.
- 23:52I I also uh this is from me.
- 23:59An old blanket. I thought a lot about what to give you this year.
- 24:04You're a young man now, Albus. And I wanted to give you something which meant something.
- 24:10This is the last thing I have from my mom. The only thing.
- 24:15And whenever I've wanted luck, I've just tried to find it and
- 24:20hold it. And I thought that maybe you would want You wanted to hold it, too. But okay, done. And
- 24:27the thing is, every Hallows Eve, the anniversary of their death and all. And I was wondering if
- 24:33I could come with you to Hogwarts and we could maybe The blanket, it's yours, Dad. Keep it.
- 24:46Do you want a hand? I've always loved packing. It meant I was leaving Private Drive and going
- 24:50back to Hogwarts, which well, I know you don't love it, but for me it was. For you, it was the
- 24:55greatest place on earth. The poor orphan bullied by his uncle and aunt Dersley, traumatized by
- 25:01his I know it all, Dad. Blah blah blah. I'm not going to rise to your bait, Alvis Potter.
- 25:08So, may I say on behalf of all wizarding kind, how grateful we are for your heroism. The poor
- 25:15orphan who went on to save us all. Shall I bow now or will a curtsy do? Elvis, you know I've never
- 25:21wanted gratitude. But right now, I'm full of it. And And it must be the gift of this moldy blanket
- 25:26that's done it. Moldy blanket. What did you think would happen, Dad? We hug. I tell you why I always
- 25:33loved you. What? What? You know what? At least you've got a dad because I didn't. Okay. And you
- 25:38think that's unlucky? I don't. Oh, you wish me dead. No, I just wish you weren't my dad.
- 25:42Well, there are times I wish you weren't my son. Uh, Albus, I didn't mean that. Yes, you did. No,
- 25:50Alvis, you know how to get under my skin. That's all. You meant it, Dad. And I don't blame you.
- 25:58No. Like all for me, I guess. Albus. Albus.
- 26:02[music]
- 26:20[music]
- 26:38Albus, I've been looking for you for me. Why? Albus, it's the start of the fourth year.
- 26:43And so the start of a new year for us. I want to be friends again. Besides, I've got great gossip.
- 26:51Big Ministry raid a few days ago. Apparently, your dad was incredibly brave. Go on. Apparently,
- 26:56he the wizard they raided Theodor. not I think had all sorts of dark artifacts that broke
- 27:02all sorts of laws including and this has got them all gooey an illegal time turner. A a time turner?
- 27:10Did you say a time turner? But wait, who's told you to talk to me? Okay, so maybe your mom owled
- 27:16my dad. No, no, no. Leave me alone, Rose. I have to find Scorpius. Hey, Elvis. Hey, Rose.
- 27:23What do you smell of? What do I smell of? That's a good thing. You smell of flowers and bread.
- 27:34I'm here. Okay. If you need me. Oh, good bread. Fresh bread. What? What's wrong with bread?
- 27:42Scorpius. Uh, we have to get off this train. Too late. This train's already moving.
- 27:46Hog, what's aoy? Uh, then we have to get off a moving train. Oh, Elvis seis, get that strange
- 27:52look out of your eye. First question. What do you know about the tri- wizard tournament? Oo, a quiz.
- 27:57Okay. Three schools pick three wizards to compete in three tasks for one cup. What's that got to do
- 28:02with anything? Second question. Why hasn't the tri- wizard tournament been run in over
- 28:0520 years? Well, the last tournament included your dad and a boy named Cedric Digree. They decided to
- 28:11win together, but the cup was a Portuguese and they were transported to Voldemort. Cedric was
- 28:16killed and well, there hasn't been a competition since. Good. Now, third question. Did Cedric need
- 28:23to be killed? Easy question. Easy answer. No. The words Voldemort said were kill the spare.
- 28:32The spare. A mistake has been made and we're going to write it. We're going to use a time turner and
- 28:37we're going to bring him back. Alvis, for obvious reasons, I'm not a massive fan of time turners.
- 28:43Amy Stigory asked my dad for a time turner and he denied they even existed. My father lied to an old
- 28:52man who just wanted his son back, who just loved his son. Everyone talks about all the great things
- 29:00dad did, but he made a lot of mistakes, too. We're going to set one of those mistakes right.
- 29:07And you know as well as I do. I'll entirely mess it up if you don't come with me. Now, come on.
- 29:15Nobody escapes my [screaming] trouble. Oh, this. This is a bad idea.
- 29:36[music]
- 29:36[music]
- 29:36Harry, how'd it go? It was true. Dear Donald in custody timeer,
- 29:46is it genuine? Does it work? It doesn't just go back an hour. It
- 29:49goes back further. We don't know anything yet. I wanted to test it out then and there,
- 29:53but wiser head has prevailed. Well, now we have it. And you're sure you want to keep it?
- 29:58I don't think we have a choice. Look at it. It's entirely different from the one I used to have.
- 30:04Apparently, Wizardry has moved on since we were kids.
- 30:09What are you doing in my office, Hermione? I was anxious to hear about Theod or not,
- 30:14and I thought I'd check on whether you kept your promise and were staying on top of your paperwork.
- 30:20Apparently not. No, you're not. How can you get anything done in all this chaos?
- 30:29No longer chaotic, but still ignored. I mean, there's some pretty interesting stuff here. I
- 30:37mean, the giants with wing tattoos on their back walking through the Greek seas and and
- 30:43the werewolves have gone entirely underground. Great. Let's get out there. I'll get a team
- 30:47together. Harry, I get it. Paperwork is boring. Uh, not for you. I have enough of my own. Harry,
- 30:58these are people, beasts who fought alongside Voldemort. They're allies of darkness. This
- 31:03combined with what we just uncovered at Theodor NS could mean something. But I'm out there. If the
- 31:10head of magical law enforcement isn't reading any of his files. I'm hearing about it. Theodore not.
- 31:16We wouldn't have known about the time tunner if it weren't for the rumor that I'd heard.
- 31:21Do you really think that this could all mean something?
- 31:24Could. But even if it does, we'll find a way to fight it, Harry. We always have.
- 31:30[music and bell]
- 31:44My father lied to you. I know he did. The ministry does have a time turner. Of course they do.
- 31:50You can go along now. What? No. No. We're here to help. Help? What use
- 31:57could a pair of undersized teenagers be for me? We can get the time turner from the ministry.
- 32:03My father proved you don't have to be a grown-up to change the wizarding world. So, I should
- 32:07allow you to get involved because you're a potter relying on the famous name now, are you? No. No.
- 32:15The information was obvious, but the confirmation was useful. Now, leave a pair of you.
- 32:22No, no. You have to listen to me. You said it yourself. How much blood is on my father's hands?
- 32:31He made a lot of mistakes and we want to set one of those right?
- 32:36Cedric only died because he was with my dad. Well, I know what it is to be despair.
- 32:42And I just can't allow that to happen. Did you not hear me, boy? I see no reason to trust you.
- 32:49So go now before I make you leave. Come on, Alvis. If there's something we're good at, it's knowing
- 32:54where we're not wanted. Uncle, they're the only ones volunteering to help. They're prepared to
- 33:00bravely put themselves at risk to return your son. This is our Cedric you're talking about.
- 33:06And didn't you say yourself having someone inside Hogwarts might be a massive advantage?
- 33:16Cedric didn't deserve to die. Mr. Diggery, my son. My son was the best thing that ever happened
- 33:26to me. If you're serious. We're deadly serious. This is going to be dangerous. We know. Do we?
- 33:34I could accompany them. If that would make you happy, Uncle, you do understand. Even trying
- 33:40to get the time turner will risk your lives. We're willing to put our lives at risk, are we?
- 33:48I hope you have it in you.
- 34:05Harry, an owl's just arrived. It's from Professor McGonagal.
- 34:14It's Albus. Albus and Scorpius, they never made it to school. Harry, they're missing. [music]
- 34:29Okay, three points. First, is Poly Juice painful? Very, as I understand it. Oh, great. Good to know.
- 34:36Second, what does it taste of? Because, well, I've heard it tastes of fish. And if it does,
- 34:42I will just vomit it back up. Consider us warned. Third point. Are we sure this will
- 34:46work? I mean disguising ourselves. Get into the Ministry of Magic. Bit mad. Very mad. Oh. Oh no.
- 34:55Doesn't taste of fish. Actually tastes quite pleasant. It is painful. But take it back.
- 35:05There is a slight [screaming] slight overpowering fishy president. [screaming] Oh my god. Oh my god.
- 35:18Wizo. Double whistle. Oh no. This really doesn't Why do I even sound like her? Triple whizzle.
- 35:26Right. Me next. No. No. [laughter] If we're doing this, let's let's do it together. Okay.
- 35:32Three, two, one.
- 35:40Oh. Oh, no. That's quite good, actually. Oh. Uh. Oh, no. That's less good. [screaming]
- 35:55Oh no.
- 36:02[applause]
- 36:03This is going to be slightly weird, isn't [laughter] it?
- 36:07Go to your room. Go straight to your room. You've been an incredibly awful
- 36:10and terrible and bad son. Scorpio, what? I just want to have a little fun before I
- 36:17Okay, that is utterly horrible. So, you sure it's in there?
- 36:24Oh, yes, Minister. I do believe that is a
- 36:27matter for the ministry to ponder at length. Oh yes. Yes. Let's ponder it together.
- 36:42[laughter]
- 36:42the Minister for Magic herself. Harry, we should talk about it. There is nothing to talk about.
- 36:49Oh no. Hermmania and Dad. Hiding places. Hiding places.
- 36:58Okay. No hiding places. Uh, does anybody know any invisibility charms or do we go into her
- 37:04office? She'll be coming to her office. Well, there's nowhere else. Get the best
- 37:08people we have. Start at the school and search from there. Aloha.
- 37:18Albus, block her. It has to be you. Why? It can't be us. We are them. But But I can't.
- 37:36Uh, Hermione, what if they're not in the forbidden forest? What? Rod. Surprise! [screaming]
- 37:44What are you doing here? Um, does a man need an excuse to see his wife? I should go. [laughter]
- 37:52Oh. Oh. Um, Harry. Harry. Um, Harry, we need to talk about this. The things you said to Albus.
- 38:01Oh. Oh, you're talking about how Harry said that sometimes you wish I Albus weren't his son. Ron,
- 38:08better out than in. That's what I say. He'll know. We all say things we don't mean. He'll understand.
- 38:14But what if sometimes we do say stuff we do mean? Ron, now is not the time. Honestly,
- 38:22of course it isn't. Bye-bye, darling. [laughter]
- 38:26Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 38:31Why are you blocking the entrance to my office? I'm not blocking anything. [laughter] Yeah, you
- 38:36are. Let me into my room, Ron. No, I want another baby. A baby or a holiday? Take it or leave it. I
- 38:43What? I'm uh I'm feeling so romantically romantic towards you right now. I I I feel
- 38:50like a romance animal. Like maybe a romance fox or a romance horse or even a romance bunny?
- 38:59I um Are you going to name every animal you can think of? Uh no.
- 39:05I have other conversational conversation I'd like to have with you. Uh yeah, a romance penguin.
- 39:14If there is another romance firework show in there, Merlin won't help you.
- 39:22Fine. I'm due to update the muggles anyway. Let's go, Harry. Some days you are truly
- 39:29off the scale. You know that. It's why you married me, isn't it? My puckish sense of fun.
- 39:35[laughter]
- 39:42[snorts]
- 39:47[music]
- 39:52[applause]
- 39:59[music] [applause]
- 40:11This is all way too weird. Nice blocking action, romance penguin. I don't know whether to
- 40:19high-five you or frown at you for kissing your own. Ron's an affectionate guy. Come on now.
- 40:25Where would a My Granger hide a time turn?
- 40:32the bookcase. Whoa, there are some serious tomes in here. Sonnet of a sorcerer. Magic
- 40:41motion evil. That's not even allowed at Hogwarts. Shadows and spirits. My eyes and how to see past
- 40:47them by Sibil Chilani. A book on divination. Ami Granger hates divination. This is a find.
- 40:54The first is the fourth. A disappointing mark. You'll find it in parked but not in park. Okay.
- 41:02The second is the less fair of those who walk on two legs. Grubby hairy a disease of the egg. It's
- 41:09a riddle. Third is both a mountain to climb and a route to take. A turn in the city, a glide through
- 41:15a lake. She's weaponized it. She's weaponized her library. Solve the riddle and it will find
- 41:22it. This is where the time turner will be. The first is a fourth. You'll find it in parked,
- 41:27but not in park. Parked. Park D. Oh, the second is the less fair of those who walk on two legs.
- 41:41Men D. Mentors. Dementors. We need to find a book on dementors. Um, [screaming] me.
- 41:53What is going on? Albus, concentrate. Okay. Uh, dementals. The mentals.
- 42:02Surely this one. Right. Right. Okay. Um. Oh, that's quite odd. I don't see any. [screaming]
- 42:11Not it. Um, okay. Dementors. Here. Dominating dementors. A true history of Askabon.
- 42:23I was born in a cage but smashed it with rage. The gaunt inside me riddled me free
- 42:29of that which would stop me to be Voldemort.
- 42:36Work faster. Dely. Dely. Did you notice she'd become himself again? No,
- 42:43because I was more worried about her being eaten by a bookcase. Find something, anything on him.
- 42:51The Arab Slytherin. Do you think it's this one? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Albus. Alvis. Okay.
- 43:06Voldemort. Voldem. Marvolo. The truth. This must be it.
- 43:13I am the creature you have not seen. I am you. I am me. The echo unforeseen.
- 43:19Sometimes in front, sometimes behind, a constant companion for we are entwined.
- 43:27Thanks, Scorpius. Alvis, the thing. But I can't. The echo unforeseen. What is that? [screaming]
- 43:38[screaming]
- 43:41Think, Scorpius. Think sometimes in front, sometimes behind. A constant companion.
- 43:47You're a shadow. Shadows and spirits. It must be. [screaming] Oh, we beat the bucket. Yeah,
- 43:55quite a ride. Scorpius. Is that
- 44:03what's in that book?
- 44:07I never thought we'd get this far. Now we have the time turn. All that's left is to go back
- 44:14and save Cedric. It's time to go to the Forbidden Forest. A great. Nothing bad ever happens there.
- 44:31[applause]
- 44:32Okay. [clears throat]
- 44:37Expel Armis. We have a [screaming] winner. You just needed confidence in your own abilities.
- 44:44I think you're becoming quite some wizard. Can't believe I actually just did that. Well,
- 44:48you're learning quickly. Wizo, what's Rizzo? I cracked the spell. I mean,
- 44:54it's pretty simple, but I cracked expellas. And I found our way to the school. Listen,
- 45:00are we sure this will work? Yes. Yes. It's a brilliant plan. All we need to do is stop
- 45:06Cedric from winning the trials tournament. If he doesn't win, he can't be killed.
- 45:12I understand that, Albus, but um it's it's all going to work out. We just need to mess up his
- 45:20chances supremely badly in the first task. The first task was retrieving a golden egg from a
- 45:27dragon. Does anyone know how Cedric distracted the dragon? Oh, pick me, pick me, pick me digy.
- 45:33By transforming a stone into a dog. with a little expelis and he won't be able to do that. All of
- 45:38which sounds, I mean, really quite promising. But in practice, we're going back in time without any
- 45:43knowledge of if we can return. Maybe we should just go back an hour. And no, we've no time
- 45:49to waste. This close to the school is just too dangerous. They'll be looking for you both. Now,
- 45:55you are going to need to wear these. But, uh, these are are damn stranges.
- 46:01My uncle's idea. If you're in Hogwarts robes, people will expect to know who you are.
- 46:05If you're in DMstrang robes, you can just fade into the background, can't you? Good thinking.
- 46:11Today, you two get an opportunity if you are given. You get the chance to rewrite history,
- 46:15to change time itself. But more than all that, you get the chance to give an old man his son back.
- 46:23I'll be waiting here for the good news when you return.
- 46:30[laughter] How you're turning quite red and pale. Uh,
- 46:32let's do this. She didn't kiss me. Did you notice that?
- 46:38Scorpius. Elvis. Elvis. Where are you? Elvis. Scorpius. They haven't been seen in Hogsme. So,
- 46:46I think we really might need to search the entire forest. If anything happens to Scorpius, Potter,
- 46:50don't throw around threats, Draco. Please don't do that. My son is missing. So is mine. Um,
- 46:57well, we won't stop until they're found. Let's split up and spread out.
- 47:03Lumos. Lumos. Albert. We'll find them, Jim. I promise.
- 47:16And there it is. Hogwarts. I've never seen [music] this view of it before. From the moment I first
- 47:22heard of it, I was desperate to go. And then we got here and it turned [music] out to be terrible.
- 47:27Not for me. All I ever wanted to do was go to Hogwarts and get up to Mayhem with
- 47:31a mate [music] just like Harry Potter. I got his son. I'm nothing like my dad. No, Alvis, you're
- 47:37better. Alvis, uh, we've got to go now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Quickly, quickly. Working on it. Okay.
- 48:03Oh.
- 48:04Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I give you the greatest, the fabulous,
- 48:08the one and the only try with autonomous.
- 48:13Now, silence, please. All the first task, retrieving a golden egg from a nest of dragons.
- 48:18Oh my god. If you're going to stand so close, I'd prefer if you didn't breathe on me. Rose,
- 48:27what are you doing here? Who's Rose? And what happened to your accent? Oh, sorry, Hermione. He's
- 48:34got you mixed up with someone else. Yes. How do you know my name? And with no time to lose, let's
- 48:39bring out our first champion facing a Swedish shortnout. I give you Cedric Digory. Digor has
- 48:47entered the stage and he seems ready. Scared but ready. He dodges this way. He dodges that. Elvis,
- 48:53the time turn is shaking. Something's wrong. Cedric readies his wand. Expel the arm. But no.
- 48:58Watch this. Cedric Digor's been disarmed. Elvis, the time turner, something's wrong. It's all going
- 49:03wrong for the diggers. This could be the end of the task for him. The end of the tournament.
- 49:18Elvis. Alvis, what's wrong? What happened? Are you okay? What happened? I think I think the
- 49:23time turner must have some kind of a time limit. Did we do it? Did Did we change anything? Alus.
- 49:31I think we're about to find out. Albus, I told you. I told you I saw them. Uh, hello, Dad.
- 49:40Is something wrong? I guess you could say that.
- 50:02Professor Doubledor, good evening, Harry.
- 50:06I've I've missed you. Whenever I've dropped in on the head, Mr. S lately, your frame's been empty.
- 50:13A difficult thing, I imagine, to watch your child in pain.
- 50:21I need your help. I'm out of my depth here. I keep trying to fix what's wrong with him,
- 50:27and I just push him further away. How do I protect my son, Dumbledore? You ask me of all people.
- 50:36We cannot protect the young from harm. Pain must and will come. So, I'm supposed to stand there
- 50:43and watch. He won't listen to anything that I say. Perhaps he's waiting for you to see him clearly.
- 50:53It is a portrait's curse and blessing to hear things. At the school, at the ministry,
- 51:03I hear people talking. And what is the gossip about me and my son? Not gossip, concern.
- 51:14You must see him as he is, Harry. You must look for what's wounding him.
- 51:19Have I not already seen him as he is? What's wounding him? Or is it who's wounding him?
- 51:31Dad,
- 51:35we're at the hospital ward. Where did you go? Alvis,
- 51:41your mother and I were scared sick. I thought Harry Potter wasn't afraid of anything. Albus,
- 51:47we decided we never wanted to come back to Hogwarts again.
- 51:53We thought we could start over in the muggle world.
- 51:58We were wrong. We were on our way back to school when you found us. Scorpius put you up to this,
- 52:03didn't he? What? Scorpius? No. No. It was mostly my idea. Holy. This all started when you two met.
- 52:13I need you to stay away from Scorpius, Malfoy. What's my my best friend? My only
- 52:18friend. He's dangerous. Scorpius? Dangerous. Dad, have you met him?
- 52:23You don't seriously think he's Voldemort's son? They're going to try to get to me through you.
- 52:29That's how they always do it. I need to keep you safe from them, from him.
- 52:38No, you you you can't. I I won't let you. You can't. I can't. There's a map. It was originally
- 52:45intended to maraud around the castle, but now we're going to use it to keep an eye on you.
- 52:50Professor McGonogal will watch your every movement, and anytime you're seen together,
- 52:53she'll come flying. Now, I expect you to go to your lessons, which none of you will share
- 52:57with Scorpius now. And in between times, you'll stay in the Gryffindor common room.
- 53:01Meanwhile, investigations will begin in my department as to Scorpius's true heritage.
- 53:07No, you you wait, did you say Gryffindor?
- 53:11I thought for a long time that I wasn't a good enough dad for you because you didn't like me.
- 53:15But now I realize I don't need you to like me. I need you to obey me because I am right.
- 53:23Wait,
- 53:36I I'll run. Albus, get to class. I'll run away again. No, you won't. Uncle Ron, if if we ever
- 53:45needed one of your jokes, it's now. Jokes? I don't know any jokes. Of course you do. You run a joke
- 53:50shop. Joke show. What are you doing here, old boy? Pangju's in trouble with Professor Granger again.
- 53:56I want to just send a howl over Padma and says I come in person. So, who's Padma? Who's Pangu?
- 54:03Pangu, your cousin. And Padma? You're wrong? My wife. But you're married to Hermione. Hermione?
- 54:11Professor Granger? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Melon's beard.
- 54:16Nice to see you back on your feet, Mr. Potter. See, look. Hermione. Hermione. She's your wife.
- 54:25Professor Granger is my name, Mr. Potter, and I'm his what? Nonsense. Nonsensical.
- 54:32Nonsensicalness. He's He's talking nonsensicalness. Is he Mr. Weasley?
- 54:38Well, Mr. Potter, you're late for class. Oh, sorry.
- 54:45Good to see you again, Herman. Is it lovely to see you again? I I love it. I um
- 54:54Love has nothing to do with this conversation. Indeed. You're still late, Mr. Potter.
- 55:04You okay, Ron? Uh, Professor Granger, a word about Panju. Uh, Hermione is a a professor now.
- 55:14How does she balance that with her ministry work? How? Whatever you're up to, it isn't working.
- 55:19I need you to stay clear of Scorpius or you'll get in deeper, much deeper trouble.
- 55:24Albus, you're okay. That's wonderful. He's completely cured. But we've got to go. What's
- 55:28going on? Did we do it? Did we change anything? No. Uh, but Albus, this is your final warning.
- 55:35I can't. You can't? What? It'll be better if we stay away from each other. Okay.
- 55:42[music]
- 55:48[music]
- 55:54[music]
- 56:00[music]
- 56:06[music]
- 56:12Heat. Heat. [music]
- 56:29Heat. Heat.
- 56:38[music]
- 56:44[music]
- 56:50[music]
- 56:56[music]
- 57:02[applause] [music]
- 57:18[music]
- 57:24This is the right decision. You all sound convinced. You told me to be honest with him,
- 57:29but I really needed to be honest with myself. Trust what my heart was telling me.
- 57:34Harry, you have one of the greatest hearts of any wizard who ever lived.
- 57:38And I do not believe your heart taught you to do this or to demand Professor
- 57:42McGonagal follow them like that. What makes you think Scorpius could save by the door?
- 57:56I can't stay long. I won't need long. How can I help? I'm not here to antagonize you,
- 58:03but my son is in tears. And so I'll ask you why you would keep two best friends apart.
- 58:08You've changed school timetables. You've threatened both McGonogal and Albus himself. Why?
- 58:13I have to protect my son from Scorpius. Are you
- 58:20Are you sure he's really yours, Draco?
- 58:22You take that back right now. Oh, you do not want to do this. Yes, I do. Incendio
- 58:30retendio
- 58:33fos.
- 58:39Enough.
- 58:41You two attacking each other will do nothing to help our sons. Now sit down, both of you.
- 59:00Well, someone needs to speak first.
- 59:06I can't talk to him either. Scorpius. Particularly since we lost the story.
- 59:14That's what this is about. You can't talk to Albus and I can't talk to Scorpius.
- 59:19I have to protect my son. My father thought he was protecting me.
- 59:24They say parenting is the hardest job in the world. They're wrong. Growing up is
- 59:30we all just forget how hard it was. At a certain point, you need to make a choice about the person
- 59:35that you want to be. And at that time, you need a parent or a friend. If you've learned to hate
- 59:39your parent and you have no friends, then you're all alone. It is exceptionally lonely being Draco
- 59:44Malfoy. And it took me to a truly dark place for a long time. Tom Riddle was also a lonely child.
- 59:53You may not understand that, Harry, but I do. And I think Jinny does as well.
- 59:58He's right. Tom Riddle didn't emerge from his dark place. And so Tom Riddle became Lord Voldemort.
- 1:00:04You can't let Albus sink into loneliness, into darkness, into hatred. Don't lose the boy.
- 1:00:10You'll regret it. Albus needs you and Scorpius. Harry, will you get the flu powder or shall I?
- 1:00:37Hi. Uh, Scorpius, sweet. I I know. I know. But I'm here anyway because I have to be. The
- 1:00:45world has gone crazy. I was almost coping. Then I realized Rose doesn't exist. Sh. I know. In fact,
- 1:00:52Rose wasn't even born because of what we did. What? I finally pieced together. Do you remember
- 1:00:57being told about the tri- wizard tournament you will ball? All four tribe wizard champions took
- 1:01:02a partner. Your dad took Papar Patil. Victor Chrome took Hermione. And Ron got jealous and
- 1:01:07behaved like a pratt. Only he didn't. I found Rita Ska's book. Ron took Hermione to that ball. What?
- 1:01:18They danced and it was nice. And then Ron danced with Padma Pad and that was nicer.
- 1:01:24They fell in love, started dating. Hermione was supposed to go to that ball with Crumb,
- 1:01:28but she didn't. And without Victorrum, there was no jealousy. And that jealousy was so important
- 1:01:33for Ron and Hermione that they never fell in love, never got married, never had Rose. Albus,
- 1:01:38every moment creates ripples. And we've created some really bad ripples.
- 1:01:44Um, right. Let's go back and fix it then. That is the wrong answer.
- 1:01:50You've still got the time, Tanner. Of course I still got the time, Turner.
- 1:01:54We don't have time, Scorpius. It's too important. Exactly. It's too important for us. We'll get it
- 1:01:58wrong. Who said we'll get it wrong? I do because that's what we do. We mess things up. We lose.
- 1:02:03We're losers. True and total losers. Haven't you realized that yet? Well, I wasn't a loser before I
- 1:02:07met you, Albus. This is too important, Scorpius. I've got to go back and save Cedric. And maybe
- 1:02:14without you holding me back, I can make a proper go of it. Oh, without me. Poor Albus Potter. What
- 1:02:19are you saying? Try my life. People look at you because your dad's the famous Harry Potter, savior
- 1:02:25of the wizarding world. People look at me because they think my dad is Voldemort. Voldemort. Don't
- 1:02:30even Can you even imagine what that's like? Have you ever tried? No. Because you can't see past
- 1:02:35that stupid thing with your dad. He will always be Harry Potter and you will always be his son.
- 1:02:40And you have to learn to be okay with that because because there are worse things. Okay.
- 1:02:53There was a moment when I was excited. I thought maybe my mom hadn't gotten sick.
- 1:03:07Maybe she hadn't died. But no, turns out I'm still the child of Voldemort.
- 1:03:14Giving sympathy to the boy doesn't give anything back. So I'm sorry if I've ruined your life
- 1:03:19because you wouldn't have a chance of ruining mine. It was already ruined.
- 1:03:23You just didn't make it better. You're a terrible the most terrible friend. Albus Potter.
- 1:03:30Albus Potter. Scorpius Malfoy. Are you two in there together? because I advise you not to
- 1:03:35be. We've got to hide now. It's that the invisibility cloak. It's changes. We've
- 1:03:40got to hide. We don't have time. I'm I'm I didn't understand. Please. I'm sorry. I'm about to enter.
- 1:04:00[music]
- 1:04:01Well, where have they gone?
- 1:04:05I never wanted to stay. Now playing tricks on me.
- 1:04:14Ah, your father's invisibility cloak. Well, if I didn't see you, I didn't see you.
- 1:04:44Yes. So, it's James's. I took it from him a while ago. Makes hiding from bullies easier.
- 1:05:02Scorpius,
- 1:05:08I'm sorry about your mom. I know we don't talk about her enough, but I I just want to say it's
- 1:05:18a rubbish thing what happened to her. What happened to you?
- 1:05:23Thank you. And the rumor can't be true because you're kind.
- 1:05:31From the tips of your fingers to the depths of your belly, you're a light in the darkness. And
- 1:05:37I truly don't believe Voldemort could have a son like you. That's that's a nice thing to say.
- 1:05:44And I should have said it long ago. And I was wrong what I said what I said before.
- 1:05:51You don't hold me back. You make me stronger. And I know I'll always be Harry Potter's son.
- 1:05:57And I know Alice, Alice, as apologies go, this is wonderfully wholesome, but you're starting to
- 1:06:02talk more about you than me again. So better quit while you're ahead. [laughter] Friends, always.
- 1:06:11Now, I've had a great idea regarding the second task. Are we having the same conversation?
- 1:06:15You were right when you said what you said before. We are losers. And what makes a loser?
- 1:06:21Humiliation. You and I know that better than anyone. So, all we have to do
- 1:06:27is humiliate Cedric out of the second task. Humiliate Cedric to save Cedric. Brilliant.
- 1:06:33Uh, about that. We have to get to the girls bathroom on the second floor.
- 1:06:37[applause and music]
- 1:06:51Harry, you're back in Draco. I need to see my son. Uh,
- 1:06:56we need to see our sons. Harry, I've considered this and I've decided that I want no part of it.
- 1:07:02I cannot interfere in friendships and I believe that
- 1:07:05I need to apologize to you and I need to apologize to Albus. Will you give me that chance?
- 1:07:12I solemnly swear them up to no good.
- 1:07:16Well, they're together. What's are they doing on the girls bathroom on the second floor?
- 1:07:29[music]
- 1:07:30So, the plan is in Gorgia. Yes. The second task was the lake task which involved people retrieving
- 1:07:36something which had been stolen from them which turned out to be people they loved. Exactly.
- 1:07:41Cedric used a bubble head charm to swim through the lake. All we need to
- 1:07:46do is use Gorgio to turn him into something rather larger. Watch him float up out of the lake,
- 1:07:52thus humiliating him out of the competition. The only thing is that we have to find some way
- 1:07:57to nudge Hermione and Ron back. Another thing you've never taught me how get into the lake.
- 1:08:08Why hello. Moing mal, you're a genius. What did you call me? Do I moan? Am I moaning now? Am I?
- 1:08:16Am I? No. What's my name? Myrtle. Exactly. Myrtle Elizabeth Warren. A pretty name.
- 1:08:27My name. No need for the moaning. Now, how can I help you, P? You were there, Myrtle. Uh,
- 1:08:36in the lake. They they wrote about you. There must be some way out of these pipes.
- 1:08:41I've been everywhere. Late task. Tri was a tournament 20 years ago. Harry and and Cedric.
- 1:08:49It's such a shame the pretty one had to die. [screaming] Help us, Myrtle.
- 1:08:56Help us get back. Help us save Cedric. You think I can help you travel in time? Well,
- 1:09:03you help us with the traveling. We've got the answers to the time. Well, that sounds like fun.
- 1:09:10This berry sink empties directly into the lake. Dive in and you'll be piped straight to it.
- 1:09:21Some for me and some for you. Is that Gillyweed? Isn't Gilly just like your dad?
- 1:09:26And we won't let the time turner catch us off guard this time. 5 minutes before we return
- 1:09:31to the past. That's all we'll allow for. Tell me this is all going to be all right. It's all going
- 1:09:35to be entirely all right. Woo. I do like brave boys. Then I'm entirely ready for whatever comes.
- 1:10:01Elvis, Scorpius, they've gone.
- 1:10:05They've disappeared. No. They're traveling under the Hogwarts grounds.
- 1:10:08No, they've disappeared. How are they doing this? He's using a rather pretty trinket thingy. Myrtle.
- 1:10:17Oops. You caught me and I was trying so hard to hide. What trinket thingy? I think it was
- 1:10:24a secret, but I could never keep anything from you, Harry. What are they doing, Myrtle? Saving a
- 1:10:32dishy boy. A certain Cedric Digory. But Cedric Digory died years ago. He seemed pretty confident
- 1:10:38he could get around that fact. If Amos If Albus heard me talking to Amos Diggree, could he have
- 1:10:47the Ministry's Time to No, that's impossible. The Ministry is a time turner. They were all
- 1:10:53destroyed. Isn't everyone so naughty? Can someone please explain what's going on?
- 1:10:59Albus and Scorpius aren't disappearing and reappearing. They're traveling. Traveling in time.
- 1:11:19Woo! We did it. We actually did it. Do you see the way that Cedric blew up just like a balloon?
- 1:11:25And those Ron and Hermighty fires were just perfect. [laughter]
- 1:11:33Helbus.
- 1:11:36Helbus. Helbus. Where are you? Utterly preposterous. Scorpius.
- 1:11:47Scorpius. Malfoy. What are you doing here? Get down to that lake. Please,
- 1:11:56mister. I'm looking for my friend. He He may be lost in the water. Please. Please. Miss. Miss.
- 1:12:02I'm Professor Umbbridge, the head mistress of your school. I'm no miss. Please, Miss Professor Head
- 1:12:11Mistress, please. I'm looking for my friend. I'm looking for Albus Potter. Potter? Albus Potter?
- 1:12:20There hasn't been a portrait at Hogwarts for years. And that boy didn't turn out so well.
- 1:12:28That's so much rest in peace, Harry Potter. more rest in perpetual despair. Harry Potter's dead.
- 1:12:40Have you swallowed something funny in there? Harry Potter died over 20 years ago
- 1:12:47as part of that coupe on the school. He was one of those Tumblr terrorists we bravely overthrew
- 1:12:57at the Battle of Hogwarts. Now come along. I don't know what game you're playing,
- 1:13:04but you're upsetting the dementas and entirely ruining Voldemort Day. Voldemort died.
- 1:13:12[applause] [cheering]
- 1:13:12[applause] Hallelujah. [cheering]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music] Yeah. Heat.
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12Heat up
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music] here.
- 1:13:12Heat. [music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12Heat.
- 1:13:12Heat. Heat.
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12Heat. Heat. [music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12Heat. Heat. [music]
- 1:13:12[music]
- 1:13:12[applause and cheering]
- 1:14:26[music]
- 1:15:24[music]
- 1:16:21Scorpius, thank you so much for coming to See me? Head mistress
- 1:16:30Scorpius, I've always thought you've had head boy potential, as you know.
- 1:16:36Pureblooded, a natural leader, wonderfully athletic. Athletic what? [sighs and gasps]
- 1:16:44You are a highly valued student. I've positively glowed about you in dispatches to the Augury.
- 1:16:53Your father is a highly valued leader at our ministry and Professor Snape and I feel sure
- 1:17:01that you could be one of our finest leaders here too. What are those screams?
- 1:17:11Mad bloods [screaming] in the dungeons. Of course, your very clever idea, Scorpius. This is precisely
- 1:17:22the point. In the three days since I found you on that lake on Voldemort day, you become
- 1:17:30order and order. In particular, this sudden obsession with Harry Potter. I I don't questioning
- 1:17:38everyone you can about the battle of Hogwarts and this ludicrous fascination with Cedric Digory.
- 1:17:47Scorpius, we've checked you for hexes and curses, but there were none we could see. So, I'm asking
- 1:17:58and I'm wondering if there's anything we can do to restore you to what you were. Consider me restored
- 1:18:06a temporary admiration. That's all. For Voldemort and Valor. Uh for um yes,
- 1:18:17she say Snape. Oh, Craig. Scorpion Prince. Uh remind me, where's Professor Snape's
- 1:18:25classroom again? Since when have you ever been interested in the classroom? Thank you.
- 1:18:40Did no one teach you to knock Malfoy? Sever Snape. This This is an honor. Professor Snape
- 1:18:46will do fine. But you're the answer. How very pleasant for me. Are you still undercover?
- 1:18:51Are you still secretly working for Dumbledore? Dumbledore?
- 1:18:54Dumbledore is dead. And my work for him was public. I taught in his school. That's not all you
- 1:18:59did. You advised him. You watched the Death Eaters for him. Everyone thought you'd murdered him, but
- 1:19:04you were supporting him. You saved the world. These are very dangerous allegations. Boy,
- 1:19:10what if I was to tell you there was another world? Another world in which Voldemort was defeated at
- 1:19:16the battle of Hogwarts. In which Harry Potter and Dumbledore's army won? What would you say?
- 1:19:21I would say that the rumors of Hogwarts's beloved Scorpion Prince losing his mind are wellounded.
- 1:19:29There was a stolen time turner. I stole a time turner with my friend Albus.
- 1:19:38We were trying to bring Cedric Digory back from the dead when he was dead. We were trying to stop
- 1:19:42him from winning the tri- wizard tournament. Harry Potter won that tri- wizard tournament. He wasn't
- 1:19:47supposed to do it alone. Cedric was supposed to win it with him, but we humiliated him out of the
- 1:19:52competition. And as a result of that humiliation, he became a death eater. Now, I can't work out
- 1:19:58quite what he did at the Battle of Hogwarts, but he did something and it changed everything.
- 1:20:04Cedric Digree only killed one wizard in the Battle of Hogwarts, and not a very significant
- 1:20:10one at that. Neville Long. Of course, Professor Longbottom killed Neagini. Voldemort snake.
- 1:20:18Neagini had to die so Voldemort could die. We destroyed Cedric. He killed Neville. Voldemort
- 1:20:23won. Can't you see it? Can't you see it? I can see that this is a Malfoy game.
- 1:20:29Now get out before I alert the Augury and plunge you into deep trouble.
- 1:20:37You You loved his mother. Lily, Harry's mother. I know you spent years undercover. I know without
- 1:20:48you, the war could have never been won. How would I know this if I hadn't seen the other world?
- 1:20:53I know you're a great man. Harry Potter told his son, my best friend, that you're a great man.
- 1:21:00Harry Potter is dead. Not in my world. He knew what you did for Dumbledore,
- 1:21:04and he admired you for it greatly. That's why he named his son after you both. Albus Seis Potter.
- 1:21:13Please, for Lily, for the world. Help me.
- 1:21:22Color us. Oh,
- 1:21:39well, come on. Just a question. But where exactly are we going? You'll see.
- 1:21:45[music]
- 1:21:53[music]
- 1:22:00So, you're telling me that the whole of history wrestle never log bottom? That is pretty
- 1:22:05wild. Do you know that? But it's plausible. Ron, can you help me? We're the only ones that can.
- 1:22:12Dumbledore's army has shrunk considerably since its peak. In fact, we're pretty much all that's
- 1:22:16left. But we've kept fighting on Granger here is a wanted woman and I'm a wanted man. Less wanted.
- 1:22:26To be clear, in this other world before you meddled, Voldemort is dead. Killed in
- 1:22:31the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry's head of magical law enforcement. You're the Minister for Magic.
- 1:22:38I'm the Minister for Magic. Brilliant. What do I do? You run Weasley's wizard wheezes.
- 1:22:45Okay. So, she's Minister for Magic and I run a joke show.
- 1:22:48You're mostly focused on bringing up the kids. Kids? Great. I um
- 1:22:54expect their mother is hot. Uh the thing is you two sort of have kids uh together.
- 1:23:04You were shocked the other time too when you are defense against the dark arts teacher and
- 1:23:09you were well I'm not quite sure what you were married in love everything
- 1:23:17and Snape what does Snape do in this other world I am dead presumably
- 1:23:27you seemed a bit too surprised to see me How? Bravely. Who? Voldemort. Oh, very irritating.
- 1:23:40I'm sorry, Seis. Well, at least I'm not married to him.
- 1:23:48Which spells did you use? Expel Yamis in the first task and Engorgio in the second.
- 1:23:53Simple shield chance to set both of those right. And then you left.
- 1:23:56That's the thing. this uh time turner. You only get 5 minutes in the past.
- 1:24:02Then we'll have to move quick. The first task of the tri tournament took place at the edge of the
- 1:24:06forbidden forest. We turn time here, make our way to the tournament, block the spell, return safely.
- 1:24:12Then we turn time again. We make our way to the lake and reverse the second task. But Hermione,
- 1:24:19if you're caught outside, the dementors will kiss you. They will suck out your soul.
- 1:24:24It's too great of a risk. It has to be just me and the boy. Seis, we get this right. Harry's alive.
- 1:24:30Voldemort is dead. The Augury is gone. And for that, no risk is too great. We do this together.
- 1:24:41Minister Malfoy.
- 1:25:04And Cedric skirts left and he dies right and he readies his wand. Oh my. What is this young
- 1:25:11brave handsome man going up the sleeve now? A dog. He's transfigured his stone into a to
- 1:25:19[screaming] run. What has it done to you? It did something to Albusy the other time
- 1:25:34when we came back. Useful. Ah, time to tell us. We're horribly exposed. Did it work? It worked.
- 1:25:43Cedric kept his wand. But the time tuna brought us back. Too soon. We're horribly exposed. Too late.
- 1:25:53They're after me, nor any of you. Go, Ron. I love you, and I always have, but the three
- 1:25:57of you need to run. Go now. Should we talk about the love thing first? This is Voldemort's world,
- 1:26:03and I'm tired of it. Reversing the second test changes [laughter] everything. They'll
- 1:26:07suck out your soul, and then you'll change the past, and they won't. Go now. Come on, we go.
- 1:26:15You're supposed to be going too. Well, they are after me a bit. And I really am in quite
- 1:26:22a lot of pain. And well, I'd rather be here with you. Expect. Hey, let's keep them here
- 1:26:30and give the boy the best chance we can. Imagine, Ron, a daughter and a son. I like that last bit.
- 1:26:42I'm scared. Kiss me.
- 1:26:57[applause]
- 1:26:58Let's get down to the what? Walk. Don't run.
- 1:27:03Stay calm, Scorpius. They may be blind, but they can sense your fear.
- 1:27:12Stay calm. Think of those you love. [gasps] I couldn't save Harry for Lily, so I dedicate
- 1:27:18my life to everything she fought for. Who are you fighting for? Albus? I I think I'm fighting
- 1:27:25for Albus. Professor Snape. Professor Umbrage. Have you heard the marvelous news? We've caught
- 1:27:34that traitorous mud blood, Hermione Granger. That's wonderful. She [snorts] was just here
- 1:27:44with you. With with me? Granger was with you. You must be mistaken. With you and Scorpius Malfoy.
- 1:27:55Listen, Dolores, we're late for class. So, if you'll excuse us. If you're late for class,
- 1:28:01why aren't you heading back to the school? Why are you heading back to the lake?
- 1:28:11How long have you suspected? Yes, and I should have suspected it far sooner. [screaming]
- 1:28:25Well, there's no turning back now. Run. Get to the lake. Get back to the second task.
- 1:28:31Follow your initial engul immediately with Reducio. The rest is up to fate. Professor,
- 1:28:36thank you. And tell Albus, tell Albus Seus I'm proud carries my name. Now go
- 1:29:06[applause]
- 1:29:06[screaming] [panting and gasps]
- 1:29:08Albus. Albus. [screaming] Albus.
- 1:29:12Wa. You have no idea how good it is to see you. It was weird though cuz Cedric
- 1:29:17sort of started to expand and then he started shrinking again. Oh my gosh. It's really you.
- 1:29:23Well, did we do anything? Did it work? No. It's brilliant. What? We failed again. Yes. Yes. It's
- 1:29:29amazing. But what about Delfie and and Cedric? Elvis. Harry, [screaming] it's Harry Potter.
- 1:29:38Oh my goodness. [laughter] And Jiny Professor McGloin. [gasps] Hi, Dad. Hello, Scorpius.
- 1:29:50I think you two have some explaining to do.
- 1:29:52D. [applause and music]
- 1:30:03[applause]
- 1:30:07[music]
- 1:30:11So to be clear, you illegally jumped off the Hogwarts Express. You invaded and stole from
- 1:30:17the Ministry of Magic. You took it upon yourself to change time, whereupon you despared two people.
- 1:30:23I agree it doesn't sound good. And your response to despairing Hugo and Rose Granger Weasley was to
- 1:30:28go back in time again, disparing a huge number of people, killing your mother and father,
- 1:30:33and in doing so resurrected the worst wizard the world has ever known and harald in a new
- 1:30:38age of dark magic. You're correct, Mr. Potter. It doesn't sound good, does it? Are you aware
- 1:30:44how stupid you've been? U professor, if I may. You may not. What you choose to do as parents
- 1:30:51is your matter, but these are my students and I will choose the punishment that they shall face.
- 1:30:55I should expel you, but all things considered, I think it may be safer for you to remain in
- 1:31:00my care. You have detention for the rest of the year. At least
- 1:31:05what I miss. If I could give a detention to you, too, Minister, I would keeping care of a time turn
- 1:31:12of all the stupid things. Manurva, Professor McGonicle, your children didn't exist. This
- 1:31:19happened in my school under my watch. After all the Dumbledore did, I couldn't live with myself.
- 1:31:27I know it does sound as if you were brave, Scorpius, and you, Albus. But even the lesson your
- 1:31:33father sometimes failed to heed is that bravery does not forgive stupidity. You must always think.
- 1:31:38Think about what's possible. A world controlled by Voldemort is it's a horrible [snorts] world.
- 1:31:43You're so young. You're just all so young. You have no idea how dark the wizarding wars got.
- 1:31:51Go on, get out, lot of you. And find me that time turner. It must be in the lake somewhere.
- 1:31:55[music]
- 1:32:04[music]
- 1:32:13Oh, [music]
- 1:32:27[music]
- 1:32:36you have no idea how good it is to be back, Alvis. I mean, I hated it there.
- 1:32:41I discovered another scorpius. Angry, mean, entitled. People were afraid of me.
- 1:32:47But you changed things. You had the chance to change time back. To change yourself back,
- 1:32:56Scorpius. I don't know if I would have. It's the mistakes I've made. I was
- 1:33:00What you need to understand is I changed myself back because of you.
- 1:33:06When the dement was inside my head, Professor Snape asked me who I was fighting for. And I said,
- 1:33:11"You did you? You may not have been there, Alvis, but you were fighting right alongside me,
- 1:33:17but our fighting days are over now. We definitely can't try again. We've got to destroy this."
- 1:33:23I know, but Scorpius, we should tell someone about this. Who? The Ministry kept it before.
- 1:33:28Only you and I know how dangerous this thing can be. No one can do what we did, Albus, ever again.
- 1:33:34It's time that time turning became a thing of the past. You're quite proud of that phrase,
- 1:33:39aren't you? We've been working on it all day. Working on what? Uh, Delelfy,
- 1:33:43what are you doing here? It felt important to send an owl. This concerns her, too. What concerns me?
- 1:33:51We can't stop Cedric. The thing Scorpius saw after the second task. Your said so little.
- 1:33:59Imagine the worst possible world and then double it. People being tortured, dementors everywhere, a
- 1:34:08despotic. Voldemort ruled. My mom and dad dead. We just can't allow that to happen.
- 1:34:14Voldemort ruled. Humili. He's alive. Humiliation turned Cedric into a a very dark individual.
- 1:34:20He was brutally bullied and some people just can't handle that. He killed Professor Longbottom.
- 1:34:26Nikini. We've got to destroy the time turner. Do you understand?
- 1:34:34I'll go further than that. I'll say Cedric would have understood.
- 1:34:41We all have our destinies. When I was growing up, witches and wizards used
- 1:34:46to believe that the Aubbery's cry foretold to death. My guardian kept one in a cage.
- 1:34:52It reminded me every day that the future was mine to make. I've kept it as my moniker ever since.
- 1:35:02An augry? What's an Auggy? Wait, Albus. Something called the Auggry was in charge of
- 1:35:10everything in the other world. Was I? Albus, run. [panting and sighs]
- 1:35:18But why? Why are you doing this? It is my destiny. The fulfillment of a prophecy.
- 1:35:24When spares are spared, when time is turned, when unseen children murder their fathers,
- 1:35:30then will the Dark Lord return? You see, I am Voldemort's daughter, but I will bring my
- 1:35:37father back to his glory and rule at his side. I am the new past. I am the new future. No.
- 1:35:45[music]
- 1:35:53[music]
- 1:36:01[music]
- 1:36:09I can't get over it. Really, the fact is that in some realities, we aren't even, you know, married.
- 1:36:15Brun, whatever this is, I have 10 minutes till the goblins come to talk security at Gringot. I mean,
- 1:36:20we've been together for so long and married for so long. I mean, so long. [laughter]
- 1:36:27If this is your way of saying you want a marital break, Ron, I will skewer you with this quill.
- 1:36:33Shut up. I want to do one of those marriage renewal things I've read about. What do you think
- 1:36:38you want to marry me again? I bloody love you, Hermione Granger. No, Jinny Harry. Um, Draco,
- 1:36:46how lovely it is to see you. Albus is missing again. Scorpius, too.
- 1:36:51We're going to go shut down the school and how's our prefects looking. But I'll summon the auras.
- 1:36:56No, you won't. It's all fine. I saw Albus last night. It's all good. Where? Well, I was with
- 1:37:02Neville and Hogsme and as we were coming back, we saw him having a private moment. He's got himself
- 1:37:09a girlfriend. A girlfriend? Yeah. Silvery blue hair and everything. Um we saw them together with
- 1:37:17uh what's his name? What's his name? Scrumpius playing the gooseberry. Wait, her hair. Nice to
- 1:37:21see my love potion use well. Her hair was silver and blue. Yep. That sounds like Delelfy Digory,
- 1:37:28niece of Amos Digory. This is about Cedric again. Could she have been the one sending
- 1:37:32them back in time? Could Could Could Could Could Could Could Could Could Could Could they
- 1:37:37cancel the goblins? Harry, I'll assure you they've gone back in time again. Not at all. Sure,
- 1:37:45but I don't know what else makes sense. If they're not on the ground. I have one. Your time, Ter.
- 1:37:49It was from my father and much more reliable than that prototype you got from Theater or not.
- 1:37:54You can imagine what the rumors about Scorpius would have been if people had known about it
- 1:37:58and well what you did to Theodore not. I held on to it, barely resisting using it.
- 1:38:04Even if I would sell my soul for another minute of the story. Oh, Draco. Thank you. But we can't we
- 1:38:12we can't use it. We have to find our sons. We have no idea where they are or or when they are. And
- 1:38:17if she's brought them back, then it's up to our sons now. They're the only ones who can save us.
- 1:38:22What are we doing
- 1:38:30on the Quidditch pitch? Try was a tournament. Third task. She wants us to stop Cedric.
- 1:38:36Am I right? You've ensured the first two tasks are a little clogged up with magic.
- 1:38:40The third task is clean. By changing the past now, we will resurrect the world. Scorpio saw
- 1:38:45a return to pure and strong magic. We won't stop Cedric. I don't just want you to stop him.
- 1:38:52I want you to humiliate him, mortify him, darken his soul so he kills long bottom. Well,
- 1:38:57we won't. We won't obey you. Whoever you are, whatever you want us to do.
- 1:39:08Do your worst. Oh, I will. No, Elvis. Whatever she does to me,
- 1:39:14we can't let her push you. [screaming] Stop it. No, no. Please, Dicky. Please stop. [gasps]
- 1:39:21What on earth are you going to do? A wizard wide disappointment, a sore on your family name.
- 1:39:31You want me to stop hurting your only friend? Then do as you're told.
- 1:39:39No. Cru. [screaming] Please. Please. Alus, everyone's been looking for you. Where have
- 1:39:50you been? Craig, what are you doing? Get out. Get help. Why? What's going on? Kadabra. No.
- 1:40:06Did you not understand?
- 1:40:08These are not childish games we are playing here. You are useful to me and your friends are not.
- 1:40:15It took me a long time to discover your weakness, Albus Porter. At first,
- 1:40:19I thought it was pride. I thought it was the need to impress your father, but
- 1:40:23then I realized you and your father have the same weakness,
- 1:40:29love. You will do exactly as you're told, otherwise Scorpius will die,
- 1:40:36just as it was prophesized. Voldemort will return, and the Augory will sit at his side.
- 1:40:44Cedric is the spare and Albus the unseen child who will murder his father by rewriting time. Now,
- 1:41:03ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 1:41:05I give you the third and final task of the tri- wizard tournament.
- 1:41:22Where is he? Where is Cedric? We have to do something. I know. But how? Now, let me remind
- 1:41:28you of the current standings. Tied in first place, Mr. Cedric Diggy and Mr. Harry Potter.
- 1:41:32In second place, Mr. Victor Crumb. And in third place, Saf Blue, Miss Florel.
- 1:41:37Who will fight the way through? What hero do we have within our midst? Only time will tell.
- 1:41:423 minutes gone. We have two minutes left. You don't still think you can fight me.
- 1:41:49Can't. We can defy you. You talk too much, child Christian. No, [screaming] no, no. Please, please,
- 1:41:54please stop this. Stop this. Stop this. [gasps] This is a test, Elvis.
- 1:42:04And we're going to pass it. You will die again. Deplet
- 1:42:14come no [laughter] further. But you Cedric Digory,
- 1:42:19this is a task. Yes, you're at the freeze. That's a task. Monapare. Monapare.
- 1:42:28And now I go on. Finish the maze. I'm I'm afraid you have to finish the maze. Cedric, wait.
- 1:42:42Your [snorts] father loves you very much. Just thought you should know that. Okay,
- 1:42:54thank you. Alvis, no. Elvis, the time turner. Look what she's doing. No, wait. Alvis. [laughter]
- 1:43:11Okay.
- 1:43:17What have we done? We had to follow the time. We had to try to stop her. Stop me?
- 1:43:22How on earth do you think you stopped me? You may have stopped me from using
- 1:43:25Cedric to fulfill the prophecy, but I'm done with this. Now, time to try something new.
- 1:43:36No, no, no, no, no. The time turner destroyed utterly. And we're trapped here.
- 1:43:46Whatever time we are, whatever it is she may be doing, we have to stop her. I know, but how?
- 1:43:59One of us should talk to the station master. Oh, hello station master. Hello, Mr. Muggle. Question.
- 1:44:04Have you seen a flying witch passing here? Oh, yeah. And what year is it? You know what annoys
- 1:44:09me most of all? My dad will still think we did this deliberately. Albus, really? I mean, really.
- 1:44:15We're trapped in time, possibly permanently. And all you can think of is what your dad might think.
- 1:44:23You reckon the train is running late, boys? Um, sorry. If you're waiting on the Edinburgh train,
- 1:44:30you'll need taken running late. Train works online. That's on the amended time bird
- 1:44:39lit.
- 1:44:49I know where she is. You understood that. No, look at the date on the top of the time table.
- 1:44:5430th October, 1981. Oh, that's the day before Halloween's Eve. 39 years ago. Oh, the day of
- 1:45:01my grandparents death. the attempted killing on my father as a baby. And in 24 hours time, Voldemort
- 1:45:07curses himself trying to kill the baby Harry Potter. We need to get to Godric's Hollow now.
- 1:45:12[music]
- 1:45:18[music]
- 1:45:24[music] Oh yeah.
- 1:45:36[music]
- 1:45:42[music]
- 1:45:47Oh
- 1:45:49[music]
- 1:45:55yeah. [music]
- 1:46:05[music] [applause]
- 1:46:19Heat. Heat. [music]
- 1:46:34[music]
- 1:46:40[music]
- 1:46:46Well, there's a no invisible sign of attack. This is Godric's Holler. Your dad's never taken you.
- 1:46:53He tried, but I refused. Well, there's no time for a tour, but regard St. Jerome's the church, and
- 1:47:00over there's where the statue of Harry and his parents will be. My dad has a statue.
- 1:47:04Hopefully he will. And this this is the house where Betheild the Bagshot lived.
- 1:47:11Lived. The Betheilda Bagshot. A history of magic. Beth Bagshot. The very same. Oh my gosh.
- 1:47:26Oh, so
- 1:47:30And here it is. The house of Lily, James, and Harry Potter. It looks calm means she hasn't.
- 1:47:46Um, so what now? What now? We haven't really thought this one through, have we? Uh,
- 1:47:55how do we protect my dad? Well, we need to talk to the future. The only problem is
- 1:48:02we don't have an owl that can fly through time. And your dad doesn't have a time turner. We get a
- 1:48:06message from my dad. He'll make his way back here. Even if he has to build a time turner himself,
- 1:48:10we send a memory like like a penc. If we send a message, we can hope he reaches for it at exactly
- 1:48:17the right time. We just stand over baby Harry and yell, "Help! Help me!" [screaming] I mean,
- 1:48:24it might slightly traumatize him. Only slightly. You're right. It's a terrible idea. Still,
- 1:48:32if I had to be with someone on the return of eternal darkness with, it'd be you.
- 1:48:36No offense, but I'd choose someone massive and really good at magic. [laughter] I must watch out.
- 1:48:55His blanket. She's giving him his blanket. Well, it is a moderately cold day.
- 1:49:05He always said it was the only thing he had from her. That won't work. If we write a message on
- 1:49:09it now, he'll read it too soon. Time will be sp. What do you know about love potions? Is there an
- 1:49:15ingredient they all contain? Amongst other things, pearl dust. Pearl dust is a relatively rare
- 1:49:19ingredient, isn't it? Mainly because it's pretty expensive. Why? The day before I went to school,
- 1:49:24my father and I got in a fight. This I know. I I believe it sort of got us into this mess.
- 1:49:28Ron had given me a love potion that collided with the blanket and completely ruined it. I'm I'm sure
- 1:49:33it's still there. So So it's coming up on Hallow's Eve and our time as well as theirs. My dad told me
- 1:49:41he always likes to be with the blanket on that day. I'm still not getting you. Is there anything
- 1:49:45that reacts particularly well with pearl dust? Well, they say if tincture of demigu comes in
- 1:49:49contact with peldos, it'll burn. So if we write on it with tincture of demigu, I won't react with it
- 1:49:55until it comes into contact with the love potion in your room in the present. Oh, by Dumbledore,
- 1:50:00I love it. So we just have to get our hands on some demigues. Well, rumor has it Betheshot
- 1:50:06never saw use in witches or wizards locking their doors. Rumor was right. Come on. [music]
- 1:50:16[applause]
- 1:50:21[music]
- 1:50:25[music]
- 1:50:29surprised to find you here. Don't worry, I haven't touched anything. Your shrine is preserved.
- 1:50:39You know, I've had some pretty terrible Halloweens, but this one is undoubtedly
- 1:50:43at least the second worst. I'm sorry, Jyn. Can we not treat this as if the battle is already lost?
- 1:50:52I let her into our home. I didn't notice Amy's Diggery was under an Imperious curse.
- 1:50:57And to top it off, I probably chased Albus right to her.
- 1:51:02I shouldn't have survived, and yet I lived. I beat Voldemort, but all these people, Fred, my parents,
- 1:51:09the fallen 50, it's me that gets to live. How is that? All this damage and it's all my fault.
- 1:51:19They were killed by Voldemort. But if I'd stopped him sooner,
- 1:51:24the boy who lived. How many people have to die for the boy who lived? No, don't do that.
- 1:51:30I know this is what you do, and I know your life has not been a fair one, but please,
- 1:51:35some hope. Please, he's not dead. Do you hear me? Albus is not dead.
- 1:51:44This is all I have left to remember them. [snorts] This is all I have left of that Hall's Eve.
- 1:51:55It's got holes in it. Ron's idiotic love potion has burnt through it. Right through it.
- 1:52:04It's It's ruined. Look at it, Harry. It has something written.
- 1:52:20Dad. We're starting with dad. So I know it's from me. Harry is his name. We should start with Harry.
- 1:52:25We're starting with dad. It's fine. Dad. Does that say dad? It's not very distinct. Dad. Help. Hello.
- 1:52:32Does that say hello? And then good. Dad. Hello. Good. Hello. No. This is some kind of joke. Dad,
- 1:52:40help. Godric's hollow. Give me that. My eyesight is better.
- 1:52:48Yes. Dad. Hello. Good. Oh, that's not hello again. That's hello or hollow.
- 1:52:56And then some numbers. These are clearer. 311081. Is this some muggle telephone number or a grid
- 1:53:03reference or a No, it's a date. 31st October 1981. It's the date my parents were killed.
- 1:53:10That doesn't say hello. It says help. Dad, help. Godric's Hollow 311081. It's a message. Clever
- 1:53:18boy sent us a message. Albus wrote this. And he's told us where they are and when they are.
- 1:53:23And now that we know where she is, we can fight her. I'll send an owl to Hermione.
- 1:53:27You send one to Draco. Tell him to meet us at Godric's Hollow with the Time Turner.
- 1:53:32We have a chance, Harry. And by Dumbledore, that's all we need. A chance
- 1:53:54[applause]
- 1:53:54Hollow must be 20 years. Is it just me or are there not muggles about?
- 1:54:02It's become quite popular as a weekend break. [laughter] I can see why. Look at
- 1:54:07those thatched roofs. And this is at a farmers market. Do you remember when we were here last?
- 1:54:14Feels just like old times. Old times with a few unwanted ponytails added to the mix.
- 1:54:21Can I just say, Malfoy, you might be all chummy tummy with Harry now, and you did produce a
- 1:54:26relatively nice child, but you have said some very unfair things to my wife. And your wife
- 1:54:31doesn't need you fighting her battles for her. Fine. But if you say one thing to her or to me,
- 1:54:38he'll do what, Weasley? He'll hug you. Cuz we're all on the same team, aren't we? Ron. Fine.
- 1:54:46I um I like your hair, Draco. Thank you, husband. Now, this seems like a good spot. Let's do this.
- 1:55:17So, how's it? Mom, Albert Seus Potter, are we glad to see you?
- 1:55:25You got our message. We got your message. We can hug too if you like. Dad. [laughter] [snorts]
- 1:55:33Dad, we were wrong about Delelfie. She is not a diggery. She's Voldemort's daughter. And
- 1:55:39we think she's trying to kill you before he curses himself. She said some sort of prophecy about
- 1:55:45unseen children and then spares being Oh, there's always a prophecy. The prophecy said Voldemort
- 1:55:52would return. Oh, Alice. Do you know where specifically Delelfie is now? She disappeared.
- 1:55:59Well, time is of the essence, then. People need to get into position. She could be coming
- 1:56:04from any direction. We need somewhere that will give us a good view of the entire town,
- 1:56:09but most importantly, keep us hidden. We cannot risk being seen.
- 1:56:14I'd say St. Jerome's Tur ticks all of those boxes.
- 1:56:18[music] Yeah. Heat.
- 1:56:41any sign? No, not yet.
- 1:56:45Why isn't she here? She'll come when she's ready, and we'll be ready for her. Or some of us will be.
- 1:56:54Poor kid thought he had to save the world. Poor kid has saved the world. That blanket was
- 1:56:59masterful. I mean, he also almost destroyed the world, but probably best not to focus on that bit.
- 1:57:06He does know, doesn't he? He does know that I love him.
- 1:57:11It might just take him a bit of time and you a bit of time, too. I'd do anything for him.
- 1:57:19Harry, you do anything for anybody. You're pretty happy to sacrifice yourself for the world.
- 1:57:25He needs to feel specific love. You know, it wasn't until that we thought Albus had gone
- 1:57:33that I truly understood what my mother was able to do for me. A a counter charm so powerful
- 1:57:38that repelled the spell of death. The only spell Voldemort couldn't understand. Love.
- 1:57:46I do love him specifically. I know, but he needs to feel it.
- 1:57:53Harry, why is she picked now? Today? Because today is the
- 1:57:59day everything changed. But she could have killed you at any time. Why specifically today?
- 1:58:04What if she's not waiting for you? She's waiting for him to stop him. What?
- 1:58:10Delelfy's picked tonight because he's here because her father is coming. She wants to meet him,
- 1:58:16be with him, the father she loves. Voldemort's problem started when he attacked you, Harry.
- 1:58:22And if he hadn't done that, he'd have only gotten stronger. The darkness would have only gotten
- 1:58:26darker. The best way to change history isn't to kill Harry Potter. It's to stop Voldemort
- 1:58:32from doing anything at all. So, we should be fighting to protect Voldemort. Of course, Jenny
- 1:58:37Delelfy isn't trying to kill Harry. She's trying to stop Voldemort killing Harry. That's brilliant.
- 1:58:43So, we just wait for Voldemort to turn up, then? I don't think she knows when he does turn up.
- 1:58:49She's come here 24 hours early because she isn't sure when or where he'll arrive.
- 1:58:56The history books, correct me if I'm wrong, don't say anything about when or
- 1:59:00how Voldemort arrived. You're not wrong. Blime me. There's two of them.
- 1:59:07You know what I'm really good at? There's plenty you're good at, Alvis.
- 1:59:13Poly juicing. And I reckon the bagshot might just have all the ingredients we
- 1:59:20need for poly juice. We can poly juice into Voldemort and lure her right to us.
- 1:59:26To use poly juice, you need a bit of something. We don't have a bit of Voldemort. But I like the
- 1:59:31concept. A pretend mouse for her cat. Then how close can we get through transfiguration? We have
- 1:59:39some pretty excellent witches and wizards here. And we all know what he looks like. Well, then
- 1:59:47it has to be me. You want to transfigure into Voldemort? She has to believe it's him without
- 1:59:52hesitation. [music] I know what it's like to feel like him. I knew what it was to be him.
- 1:59:58It has to be me, Jin. I won't do it if you don't want me to. But to me, it seems there's no other
- 2:00:03way. Am I wrong? You're right. Then let's do this. Hold on. Aren't we going to discuss
- 2:00:10the route? We're taking the proper plan. Easy. He gets her in here. We all zap her. Zap her.
- 2:00:18Well, we all can hide through these doors. And if you can get her to about here, Harry, in the
- 2:00:24light, then we can all come out and make sure she can't escape. And then we zap her. Transfiguration
- 2:00:31is dangerously unstable. What if the spell doesn't hold? What if, Draco? Trust my dad.
- 2:00:39He won't let us down. One's at the ready.
- 2:00:41God,
- 2:00:42god.
- 2:00:51Bloody hell.
- 2:01:19Yes, it worked.
- 2:01:43The plan will work. Mom, you know that. I know. Or I hope I do. I just don't like seeing him
- 2:01:51like that. This is all my fault. How funny. Your dad seems to think it's all his. I trusted her.
- 2:02:01mom Delelfie and she turned out to be Voldemort's daughter. It's exactly the sort of thing your dad
- 2:02:08would have done. But then you brought us here in your own way. I am very proud of you, Elvis.
- 2:02:19That's her. She's seen him.
- 2:02:22All right, everybody get into positions and make sure don't come out until he has her in the light.
- 2:02:52Whichever witch or wizard is following me, I assure you, you will regret at it. Lord Voldemort,
- 2:03:00it is me. I am following you. I do not know you. Leave me. I I am your daughter.
- 2:03:11If I had a daughter, I'd know of you. I am from the future. The child of Bellatrix Lrange and you.
- 2:03:19I was born before the battle of Hogwarts. A battle you are going to lose. I have come to save you.
- 2:03:25I am your daughter. Come here, daughter in the light so I may examine you. [music]
- 2:03:36Your mission is a mistake. Attacking Harry Potter is a mistake. He has his mother's love.
- 2:03:44Your spell will rebound. He will destroy you. [snorts] Then you are right. I won't attack him.
- 2:03:53Father. Father. Your plan is a good one. The fight is off now. Now you must come into the
- 2:04:01light. Let me truly see you. You are not Lord Voldemort. Potter, it's Maris. Call for Harry.
- 2:04:12What's going on? Are you okay? Are you okay? Your friends want to join you, did you? I was known.
- 2:04:20You think your one will help you? That you're stronger than me? No, I'm not. a lone [ __ ]
- 2:04:28But we are I've never fought alone and I never will. Supervisor [screaming]
- 2:04:31superar. Albus, are you okay? Yes, sir. I'm okay. A lot of people have tried to hurt me,
- 2:04:55but you dare try and hurt my son. I only wanted to know my father. You can't remake your life. You'll
- 2:05:00always be an orphan. That's part of you. Just let me see him. I can't and I won't. Then kill me.
- 2:05:10I can't do that either. We'll send you to Aszaban just like your mother. Well, you'll rot.
- 2:05:28No, not yet. Father [screaming] Seleia, let a corpus.
- 2:05:47[music]
- 2:06:01[music]
- 2:06:15[music]
- 2:06:30Baltimore is going to kill [music] my parents and there's nothing I can do to stop him.
- 2:06:34You don't have to watch, Harry. Of course I have to watch. I'm letting it happen. [music]
- 2:06:41I'll be right here with you. We all will.
- 2:06:43[music] Lily. Lily, take Harry. Go. It's him. [screaming] Go. Run. I'll hold him off.
- 2:06:55You keep away. You understand? You keep away.
- 2:07:07I can see my mom at the window. I can see my mom and she's beautiful.
- 2:07:15Not Harry. Not Harry. Please, not Harry. Stand aside, you silly girl. Stand aside now. Not Harry.
- 2:07:24Please don't take me. Kill me instead. This is my last warning. Not Harry.
- 2:07:30Please, I'll do anything. Have mercy. [laughter] Have mercy. Not my son. Ara, no. [screaming]
- 2:07:34[applause] [cheering]
- 2:07:35[applause and music]
- 2:07:36[music]
- 2:07:52[music]
- 2:08:08I can't believe I just did that. Can't believe it either. I asked out Rose Granger Weasley
- 2:08:14and she said no. But I planted the acorn that will sprout into our venal marriage.
- 2:08:19And you know she hates you, right? She doesn't hate me. Do you see that look in her eyes?
- 2:08:23That wasn't hate, my friend. That was pity. And pity is a lot better than hate. [laughter] Okay.
- 2:08:35Hi. I wanted to thank you both, you know, for everything.
- 2:08:41This is only going to be weird if you two let it be weird. You good, Albus?
- 2:08:52Are you good, Scorpius, with this new version of us? Yeah. [laughter] You going to the Quidditch
- 2:08:58game later? I hear it's a big one. Thought we hated Quidditch. People can change. Besides,
- 2:09:03I've been practicing. I I think I might make the team eventually.
- 2:09:07I can't. Uh my dad is coming up for the weekend. He's taking time off from the ministry.
- 2:09:13Yeah, I think it's uh a bonding thing. [screaming]
- 2:09:23Still, I think I'll go catch you at dinner. See you.
- 2:09:28[music]
- 2:09:34[music] [bell]
- 2:09:46[music]
- 2:09:52[music]
- 2:09:58Wow. Wow. Wow.
- 2:10:10[music]
- 2:10:16So, are you ready? Ready for what? Fourth year exams. And then there's fifth year,
- 2:10:24big year. My fifth year, I uh I did a lot of stuff.
- 2:10:29Uh some of it good, some of it bad, most of it very confusing. Thanks, Dad.
- 2:10:44I uh I saw them. You know, your parents, they were Well, you had a lot of fun together. Your dad
- 2:10:57did this peekab-boo thing and you couldn't stop giggling. Yes. I think he would have really liked
- 2:11:04them and I think their grandchildren would have really liked them too. Listen, Elvis,
- 2:11:16that thing I said to you, it is unforgivable and I I can't ask you to forget it. You don't have to.
- 2:11:24You said you didn't think I was afraid of anything.
- 2:11:29I'm afraid of the dark. Harry Potter is afraid of the dark. [snorts] I don't like um
- 2:11:36I've never told anyone this. I don't quite like pigeons. You You don't like pigeons? Nasty,
- 2:11:44dirty, pecky little things that give me the creep. But they're harmless. I know. But the thing that
- 2:11:51scares me most, Albert Seis Potter, is being a dad to you. Because I'm operating without wires here.
- 2:11:58Most people at least have a dad to base themselves off of either to try to be or
- 2:12:02try not to be like them. But I've got nothing or very little. So, I'm learning. Okay.
- 2:12:12And I'm going to try with all I've got to be the very best dad I can for you. And
- 2:12:18I'll try to be a better son. I I know I'll never be like you and James. James is nothing like me,
- 2:12:25isn't he? Everything comes easy for James. My childhood was a constant struggle. So,
- 2:12:31are you saying I like you? Actually, you're more like your mom. Bold,
- 2:12:40fierce, funny, which I love, which I think makes you a great son.
- 2:12:49Those names you have, they shouldn't be a burden. Albus Dumbledore had his trials too, you know. Um,
- 2:12:58Sarah Snape, well, you know about him. They were good people, great people who had made
- 2:13:04terrible mistakes that they were deeply ashamed of pain. They couldn't get rid of, but they trusted
- 2:13:11their hearts and they tried to build a better world. And that's all all any of us can do.
- 2:13:21I'm sorry, others.
- 2:13:23I'm sorry. I thought Scorpius was Voldemort's son. I should never have kept you two apart.
- 2:13:29Dad, you you do know that Scorpius might be the most important person in my life right now. And
- 2:13:37he might always be. I know. And I like it. In fact, I like him a lot. And
- 2:13:44I would say that if he's the most important person in your life, then that's a very good thing.
- 2:13:50Look, I don't understand your head, Elvis. Actually, I shouldn't understand your head
- 2:13:54because you're a teenager, but I do understand your heart. And I know that heart is a good one.
- 2:14:03Whether you like it or not, you're on your way to being some wizard. Oh. Uh, Dad, I'm
- 2:14:11I'm not going to be a wizard. I'm going into pigeon racing. [laughter] Seriously,
- 2:14:20Dad, why are we here? This is where I often come. But this is a graveyard.
- 2:14:30And this is Cedric's grave.
- 2:14:38I didn't know Cedric well enough.
- 2:14:41He could have played Quidditch for England or been a brilliant healer. He could have been anything.
- 2:14:49Amus was right. He was stolen. [snorts] So I come here to say [music] sorry when I can.
- 2:15:12[music]
- 2:15:13It's a good thing to do. Got it. [music]
- 2:15:31I think today's going to be a [music] great day. So do I.
- 2:15:35[applause and cheering]
- 2:19:11Heat.
