Full transcript
- 0:01Hello.
- 0:02Wa alaykumu s-salam. Thank you for
- 0:04signing. Thank you for joining us, Ola.
- 0:06Thank you, Ammar, for for
- 0:08for signing. Let's start the session.
- 0:10We are about to break 5,000 attendees.
- 0:16And we can start
- 0:18right away.
- 0:22I'm going to start with a very quick
- 0:23recap of what we've done yesterday.
- 0:27Yesterday, for those of you who dialed
- 0:29in,
- 0:30because we did open it again for anyone
- 0:32who wants to join,
- 0:34we built and published a mobile and web
- 0:37app
- 0:38in multiple languages.
- 0:41It happened to have been a bakery, but
- 0:43it can be anything you want. And from
- 0:46the apps that we saw come back,
- 0:48we've seen people starting to build
- 0:50their own applications.
- 0:52The app came with a database.
- 0:55It was multi multiple languages.
- 0:58There's a payment gateway to it.
- 1:00A lot of you were asking, "Can I get the
- 1:02API key?"
- 1:04The API key that we showed yesterday
- 1:07was the instructor's own API key.
- 1:11If you want to connect your bakery or
- 1:13your business
- 1:15to
- 1:16um an actual payment gateway, you would
- 1:18need to create an account with
- 1:21Stripe
- 1:23or others.
- 1:25Um
- 1:26and
- 1:29uh you need to create your account with
- 1:31them, and then you'll receive your API
- 1:33key. So, there would be a
- 1:35request for fur- further information to
- 1:38check what your bank is, uh connect to
- 1:40your bank account
- 1:42to start an account, and then you'll get
- 1:44your API key. However,
- 1:46what we learned
- 1:47is that you can take this API key,
- 1:50put it into Replit,
- 1:52take the documentation, paste it, and in
- 1:55one sentence, the two systems would
- 1:57connect.
- 1:58So, I just want to clarify that one
- 1:59point.
- 2:01But, as of
- 2:02today,
- 2:04you should have the skills to be able to
- 2:06actually build
- 2:08an app
- 2:09from scratch.
- 2:12In today's session, we're going to do
- 2:14two things. The first half
- 2:17is with Lubna Tahtah,
- 2:19who's going to allow you to transform
- 2:23your business
- 2:25and bring it to life.
- 2:27So, now we're going to go from the
- 2:29product to the communication and the
- 2:31marketing part.
- 2:32You can create documents, articles,
- 2:36put them into Notebook LM,
- 2:39which is
- 2:40becomes your AI research assistant, and
- 2:42it's going to help you strategize and
- 2:45start to sell.
- 2:50The link between the two
- 2:53through Replit, if you are using Replit
- 2:55right now,
- 2:56is you can tell it,
- 2:58"Look at my business
- 3:00and generate documents, a strategy
- 3:03document, on where I need to sell.
- 3:06Generate a financial model for me.
- 3:09Generate
- 3:10um a summary of my inventory
- 3:14and how much I sold."
- 3:16And these documents then, you want to
- 3:18bring them to life. And the simplest
- 3:20tool to do that
- 3:22is Notebook LM, and it's also free.
- 3:26Today,
- 3:28um one thing you could These are some of
- 3:30the things that you will be able to do
- 3:33by the end of this session
- 3:35just by prompting, like what we did
- 3:37yesterday with Replit.
- 3:39You're going to be doing be able to do
- 3:40the exact same activities. Ask it
- 3:43for
- 3:45an audio or video overview,
- 3:48slide deck, reports, quizzes,
- 3:51infographics, so on and so forth, and
- 3:53data tables.
- 3:56Joining us today
- 3:57is when we reached out to Google to tell
- 3:59them about Notebook LM,
- 4:01they told us that the best instructor
- 4:02that they have
- 4:04and they've come across is Lubna Tariq.
- 4:07Uh she is a Google certified trainer,
- 4:10innovator, former teacher with all the
- 4:13accreditations. She's
- 4:16going to give us right now
- 4:18um a tour of
- 4:21Notebook LM, but as we're doing in every
- 4:24fashion, we're going to actually be
- 4:26using Notebook LM for our business so
- 4:29that you can have hands-on experience so
- 4:31that when the session ends at around
- 4:337:30,
- 4:35you can go back and you've already
- 4:36generated all this stuff and you can
- 4:38then apply it to your own app.
- 4:41And last note is I encourage you to
- 4:43start building your app, whether it is a
- 4:46bakery or anything you want,
- 4:48because the hackathon has kicked off.
- 4:51Over to you, Lubna.
- 4:56>> Thank you, Roy, for the amazing
- 4:57introduction. So, I'll start sharing my
- 5:00screen.
- 5:01>> Mhm.
- 5:05>> Okay.
- 5:11So.
- 5:14Okay. Before we get started, first of
- 5:16all, I would like to welcome everyone
- 5:19who's joining us today and I'm so glad
- 5:21to be here with you all. Uh Roy gave me
- 5:24like an amazing introduction already.
- 5:26So, I just want to tell you that I used
- 5:28to be a former teacher, so do we have
- 5:31any teachers joining us today?
- 5:34And you just like react with a thumbs-up
- 5:36if you have like educators joining us
- 5:38today.
- 5:39Okay. Amazing. [clears throat]
- 5:43Perfect. Okay.
- 5:44>> [laughter and gasps]
- 5:44>> So, I used to be a teacher for like 12
- 5:47years before I transitioned to training
- 5:51teachers as well. So, when I used to be
- 5:53a teacher, I used to be overwhelmed with
- 5:56so many different tech tools in the
- 5:58class trying my best to engage students
- 6:01and help them get like um or stay
- 6:04focused the entire time.
- 6:06So, the reason why I decided to
- 6:08demonstrate or like talk to you about
- 6:10Notebook LM today is because
- 6:13as a former teacher, I hated the fact
- 6:15that I had to use isolated academic
- 6:19software. So many different tools in the
- 6:21class trying to get everybody to stay
- 6:24focused. But Notebook LM, I would say
- 6:27that it is your all-in-one tool. It is
- 6:30that one AI platform that is going to
- 6:33help you create content. It's going to
- 6:35help you just like upload your sources
- 6:38and like have amazing output using those
- 6:41sources that you upload. We're going to
- 6:44see how this works together today.
- 6:48So,
- 6:49of course like I'm part of the Google
- 6:51for Education team um
- 6:53and I lead digital transformation in the
- 6:55MENA region. So,
- 6:58by the end of the session, I'll be
- 6:59sharing my socials in case you had like
- 7:01any questions. You wanted to take it
- 7:02over to the next level. I'll definitely
- 7:04be able to support you.
- 7:06Let me tell you before we get started
- 7:08how today's session is going to be like.
- 7:11So, we're going to divide the session
- 7:13into three sections. The first section
- 7:15is going to be you exploring Notebook LM
- 7:18yourselves like independently. I'm going
- 7:21to be sharing a notebook with you so
- 7:22that you get introduced to some of
- 7:25Notebook LM's features and get to know
- 7:27how to use it.
- 7:29And then the second part of the session
- 7:31is going to be me demonstrating
- 7:34how to use Notebook LM and talk about
- 7:37all of its features. So, as if like I'm
- 7:39digging deeper, it's like a deep dive
- 7:42into Notebook LM's features.
- 7:44And then the third section of our
- 7:45session is going to be you again
- 7:47applying hands-on working on creating
- 7:50your own notebook.
- 7:52So,
- 7:54let's start with the first section from
- 7:56today's session.
- 7:58I will give you
- 8:007 minutes so that you would start
- 8:03exploring what Notebook LM is like
- 8:06through a notebook. So, if you're using
- 8:09your phone, you can scan this QR code
- 8:11and like Roy is going to help me by
- 8:13sharing a link in the chat that you can
- 8:16click on and then it will take you to a
- 8:18notebook that I created.
- 8:21So, I just need you to tell me once
- 8:24you're able to see the notebook in front
- 8:25of you.
- 8:27So, it is shared in the chat section
- 8:28right now. Once you click on it and you
- 8:31have the notebook open in front of you,
- 8:33just let me know with a thumbs up
- 8:35reaction.
- 8:38So, I'll give you like few seconds so
- 8:40that you all open the notebook I shared
- 8:42with you before we get started.
- 8:45>> I'm seeing maybe one or two O's, but
- 8:48nearly 99%
- 8:50>> Yeah, 99% thumbs up. So, for anyone who
- 8:53has any O's, we're using that as hey,
- 8:55I'm stuck somewhere.
- 8:57Um put it in Q&A. Try to reduce the O's
- 9:00unless you really are stuck somewhere.
- 9:03And put it in the Q&A. We have a team
- 9:05that's following the Q&A for you to move
- 9:07forward. Now, one thing that's really
- 9:09important to know,
- 9:11uh Notebook LM is a Google product.
- 9:14If you create your own notebook,
- 9:17you do need to have a a Google account.
- 9:19Gmail, whatnot.
- 9:21But in today's session, and that's why
- 9:23we're starting with this,
- 9:25um with this chat that
- 9:28the same message was sent twice.
- 9:30Both are the same. Um click on it.
- 9:33You don't have to have a Gmail account
- 9:36to be able to access Notebook LM to be
- 9:38able to explore it.
- 9:43>> Okay.
- 9:46Just want to make sure that they all
- 9:48clicked on the link because like many of
- 9:49them are saying that they cannot see the
- 9:51link.
- 9:54>> Okay.
- 9:55Oh, yes.
- 9:56>> Yeah, I know. Actually, it was for hosts
- 9:58only. Now it's shared with everyone so
- 10:00they can change it.
- 10:01>> Correct.
- 10:02>> Amazing.
- 10:04Okay.
- 10:08Perfect.
- 10:10Now everyone can see the link in the
- 10:11chat section. Just click on the
- 10:15link. It will take you over
- 10:17to this notebook. Can you see this
- 10:19notebook in front of you right now?
- 10:23Perfect. Okay.
- 10:27Amazing.
- 10:29So, let's get started. Okay.
- 10:34I'll just like start
- 10:38the 7-minute timer.
- 10:40We got 7 minutes to start exploring
- 10:44Notebook. Okay.
- 10:46So, if you have the notebook in front of
- 10:48you right now, you will see this
- 10:50notebook interface.
- 10:52It is divided into three sections. So,
- 10:55you have here the first section, which
- 10:57is the sources section because the first
- 11:00thing that you need to do once you
- 11:02create a new notebook is you uploading
- 11:04the sources that the notebook is going
- 11:06to be using so that it can help you
- 11:09create content that you want. Okay? So,
- 11:11we all check the sources section. Can I
- 11:13have a thumbs up?
- 11:16Did we all check the sources section?
- 11:18Perfect. Amazing. So, you will see that
- 11:21this is a notebook on Notebook as I said
- 11:23to help you know more about it.
- 11:27Okay.
- 11:28So,
- 11:29these are all sources that I got from
- 11:32internet. So, I just added them here so
- 11:35that I would be able to use them to
- 11:37create the content I want.
- 11:39Here in the middle, you will find the
- 11:41chat section. So, you can feel free to
- 11:44ask any question you want in here. And
- 11:47the best part about Notebook LM is that
- 11:50it is grounded into its own sources.
- 11:53Meaning that it cannot provide you with
- 11:55an answer that is not there in the
- 11:57sources. That makes it a safe AI
- 12:01platform that would never hallucinate
- 12:03because if the information is not there
- 12:05in the sources, it would never be able
- 12:07to invent it. So, what I want you to try
- 12:10right now since we're all talking about
- 12:12like the chat section and focusing on it
- 12:15right now. What I want you to do is I
- 12:17want you to try asking this question in
- 12:20the chat section, not the Zoom chat.
- 12:23Okay? In the chat section of Notebook
- 12:25LM. I want you to type this question.
- 12:27How do you ride a bike?
- 12:31So, I want you to go back in here
- 12:34and I want you to type how do I ride a
- 12:38bike?
- 12:43Okay?
- 12:46And I'll give you few seconds so that
- 12:48you can get to see
- 12:49what the notebook is going to provide
- 12:51you as an answer.
- 12:57Have you noticed something?
- 13:01Like you can use a different like
- 13:03reaction. Like you can use okay.
- 13:06I don't know if this is like you getting
- 13:08impressed or
- 13:09>> No, do the do this this tada
- 13:13reaction
- 13:15once you've made that
- 13:17search, how do I ride a bicycle or how
- 13:19do you ride a bicycle?
- 13:21To see the results. And the point here
- 13:23is
- 13:24if you've heard of
- 13:26um, rag.
- 13:29This is rag.
- 13:30Retrieval augmented.
- 13:33And it's basically you're only limited
- 13:35to the data that is inside that
- 13:37notebook, so that it does not
- 13:39hallucinate and come up with incorrect
- 13:41things. Perfect. We're seeing that flow.
- 13:44Let's give it maybe
- 13:4630 seconds
- 13:47for the screen to properly
- 13:49fill up with the tada icon to make sure
- 13:53that we're all on the same page.
- 13:55Um, I've seen a few Q&As, some people
- 13:57asking about the recording for
- 13:58yesterday. We just shared it.
- 14:01So, just let's give it 30 seconds to
- 14:03make sure that we're all on the same
- 14:05page.
- 14:06This is a super powerful tool
- 14:08because it really is a very simple way
- 14:10for you to be able to master
- 14:13and visualize all the documents that you
- 14:16have by just asking it.
- 14:21Perfect. Okay.
- 14:21>> Amazing. One more thing that I wanted to
- 14:23add, Roy, is that when I asked, "How do
- 14:26I ride a bike?" even though it did not
- 14:27provide me with an answer, and it is
- 14:29because the answer to that question is
- 14:31not there in the sources uploaded. The
- 14:33sources, just like, explain what
- 14:36Notebook LM is like and all about
- 14:38Notebook LM's features. But, you can
- 14:40notice here that it said, "Hello and
- 14:42welcome to Khan's AI Hackathon." which
- 14:45means that even like the reply to the
- 14:47questions asked in the chat section in
- 14:50Notebook LM can be personalized. You can
- 14:53customize it if you're creating a
- 14:55notebook that you're about to share with
- 14:56your students, you're about to share
- 14:58with your employees, you're about to
- 15:00share with your colleagues. So, you're
- 15:02able to like decide on how exactly
- 15:05the notebook is going to reply first to
- 15:07the person asking the question before
- 15:09providing the answer. Okay? And that is
- 15:11something that I'm going to tell you how
- 15:13to do when I move on to the second
- 15:16section, which is demonstrating how to
- 15:18create a notebook from scratch.
- 15:20So, now what I want you to do is I want
- 15:23you to go to the third section and start
- 15:25exploring some of the things that I
- 15:27created under the studio section. So,
- 15:31Roy has shown you at the start of the
- 15:33session all the kinds of things that you
- 15:35can create using a notebook. So, after
- 15:38you upload your sources, you can create
- 15:40an audio overview like a podcast,
- 15:43a slide deck,
- 15:45a video,
- 15:46you can create a mind map,
- 15:48different kinds of reports, and I'm
- 15:50going to show you the kinds of reports
- 15:52that you can create in Notebook LM.
- 15:54>> [snorts]
- 15:54>> You can create flash cards for your
- 15:56students, for example, or even you can
- 15:58use them um
- 16:00for your business by posting like
- 16:02certain questions online and having
- 16:04people like answer them as like a sort
- 16:06of offering them giveaways by the end.
- 16:09So, there are like different ways of
- 16:10using flash cards as well.
- 16:12You have the quiz
- 16:14option. You have infographic. You can
- 16:17create like amazing infographics with
- 16:20different visual layouts.
- 16:23And you have here the data table. You
- 16:25will notice that you do not have this
- 16:27section in the notebook I shared with
- 16:29you because it is a shared notebook. By
- 16:32the end of the session, when you start
- 16:34creating your own notebook, you're going
- 16:36to be having those features appearing
- 16:38for you so that you can start creating
- 16:40your own content. So, I'll give you a
- 16:42few minutes to start like clicking on
- 16:45all the
- 16:46the
- 16:47different like types of content that I
- 16:50created for you from videos, slide
- 16:52decks, podcast, infographic, mind map,
- 16:56and all of those like outputs that I
- 16:58created so that you can see how they
- 17:00work.
- 17:04We have
- 17:0630 seconds left.
- 17:11And Roy, if you can like post the
- 17:13questions so that we can ask them.
- 17:15>> Mhm.
- 17:15>> Which of like the different kinds of
- 17:17output that they can see right now
- 17:20define the most engaging. I would like
- 17:22to know like what is their favorite
- 17:25output? Is it an infographic or the
- 17:28slide deck?
- 17:29Let's see.
- 17:39Could you share that poll? Let me see if
- 17:41this is it. No, I think it's
- 17:45I currently don't see it. No, that's not
- 17:47it.
- 17:52Let me see if you've had time to build
- 17:54it.
- 18:00It's okay like if you loved the
- 18:02infographic,
- 18:04you can like react with a heart.
- 18:06We will do it like in a different way.
- 18:09Okay, I can see that many of you have
- 18:11checked the infographic already. Okay,
- 18:13what about the slide deck? Because it is
- 18:15my favorite. Like right now
- 18:18for anything that I like
- 18:21that I need for like any training
- 18:24materials that I have if I have a
- 18:25training if I have to present something
- 18:27for example even to my
- 18:31to my friends to my co-workers I always
- 18:34use Noble cause I am to create the slide
- 18:36deck for me because the visuals it
- 18:39creates and like how professional the
- 18:41slide deck seems by the end is just
- 18:44amazing. So I totally like depend on it
- 18:47for presentations.
- 18:49Okay, have you listened to the podcast?
- 18:55If you listen to the podcast, just react
- 18:57with a thumbs up.
- 18:59Okay, perfect. The last question I'm
- 19:01going to ask you is have you noticed the
- 19:04difference between the two podcasts?
- 19:07Like I've created one in English for you
- 19:09and one in Arabic. If you've noticed the
- 19:11difference between them, I would like
- 19:14that you react with an emoji that is
- 19:16similar to the icon
- 19:19that is there on the English podcast.
- 19:21Like next to the English podcast you
- 19:23will find an icon.
- 19:24If you can react using the same emoji
- 19:28so that I would see.
- 19:31Okay.
- 19:33I can see that many of you cannot see
- 19:35it. Let me show you.
- 19:38If you would see podcasts here, I have
- 19:41created one in English
- 19:44and another one in Arabic.
- 19:46What do you notice here?
- 19:48There's a difference between them.
- 19:51If you would check the English one, you
- 19:54would find here the hand icon, which
- 19:57means that it is an interactive podcast.
- 20:01You know what that means? It means that
- 20:03when you're listening to the two hosts
- 20:05talking about the subject or the sources
- 20:07that you've uploaded, you're able to
- 20:10even interact with them. Start asking
- 20:12them questions as if you're listening to
- 20:13a radio like channel and you're like
- 20:16interacting with the hosts, calling
- 20:18them, asking them questions. So you can
- 20:20do the exact same thing here.
- 20:23So this feature's there just for the
- 20:25English podcasts. So it is not like
- 20:29it doesn't work for the rest
- 20:31>> One thing is got a comment that there's
- 20:34sometimes it's not the exact same
- 20:37things that are appearing
- 20:39from what you're sharing and what's
- 20:40appearing in the shared notebook.
- 20:43for
- 20:44>> Not in the same order maybe like the
- 20:46exact same things that I've created.
- 20:48>> I'm going to open it on my side just to
- 20:51see cuz I saw a bunch of O's
- 20:53and this could explain why.
- 20:55So I'm going to share my screen and this
- 20:58is my notebook of the link that we have.
- 21:01This is my view. Could you walk us
- 21:03through it on this and everyone
- 21:06if you are able to see it, please leave
- 21:08a heart. Let's fill it with hearts if
- 21:11this is
- 21:12This was one of the challenges that you
- 21:13were facing.
- 21:14Okay, yeah. That's what it is.
- 21:17Thank you. This is a great way to
- 21:18communicate.
- 21:22All right.
- 21:23Over over here.
- 21:27>> So, as you can see Roy's notebook here,
- 21:29it is the same like you can see it from
- 21:31the same perspective. So, you can see
- 21:33the first section, which is the sources,
- 21:35all the sources that are uploaded here.
- 21:39And then in the middle, you have the
- 21:40chat section that you can start typing
- 21:42questions. Okay, and you can find the
- 21:44summary of all the sources that you
- 21:46have. If you would look at the last
- 21:48section, which is the studio section,
- 21:50you're going to find all the things that
- 21:52I created. So, for example, the first
- 21:54one, the notebook element sandbox, the
- 21:56AI sandbox. This is the video that I
- 21:58created. And then you would have a slide
- 22:00deck underneath. Yes. So, that is a
- 22:03video tutorial
- 22:04>> this explainer on Notebook LM.
- 22:07>> Mhm.
- 22:13And it's perfect like you'll find
- 22:14visuals. Like it will help you
- 22:17understand what Notebook LM is. Like it
- 22:19can help you become an expert. Here Roy
- 22:21has just opened the slide deck, and I
- 22:24want you to look at how professional the
- 22:26slide deck is. It is not like a simple
- 22:28one with like just text and that's it,
- 22:32but it's like it is super catchy. It is
- 22:34a high level presentation that includes
- 22:37literally like everything that you have
- 22:39in those sources. I believe that if we
- 22:41sent this to like um our students or
- 22:44anyone who would like to learn more
- 22:46about Notebook LM, they would just love
- 22:48it.
- 22:52Okay.
- 22:54So, here as you can see like it shows
- 22:55you all the features that you have.
- 22:58>> I want you to take just a second
- 22:59>> Here you have the
- 23:00>> and imagine your digital life right now.
- 23:05>> Perfect. And do you have you would click
- 23:07on the interactive hand icon there?
- 23:12>> Mhm.
- 23:12>> to show them how they can interact with
- 23:14it.
- 23:14>> Yeah, but
- 23:15>> It is there next to the podcast itself.
- 23:17>> This one?
- 23:19No.
- 23:22>> You see like interactive with the hand
- 23:24written like next to the podcast itself.
- 23:28>> Oh, wait. Uh sorry, yes.
- 23:29>> Not in the bar at the bottom. Yes.
- 23:34Perfect. So, it will take you over here
- 23:37where you can play. Just click on the
- 23:39play button.
- 23:45>> [sighs]
- 23:48>> Do I join?
- 23:50>> Okay. Perfect. Just a sec. No, no, just
- 23:53a sec.
- 23:55Let them start first.
- 24:07Okay.
- 24:11Like it takes few seconds for the hosts
- 24:12to start.
- 24:14>> Okay.
- 24:15No problem.
- 24:17>> Okay. Click on the join button. No
- 24:19problem.
- 24:21>> Oh, wait. Someone wants to join. Hey, go
- 24:24for it.
- 24:28Um I'm
- 24:29>> start answering the question. So, you
- 24:31can tell them like like
- 24:32>> Wow.
- 24:34Okay.
- 24:35So, tell me about um
- 24:38What do we have here?
- 24:38>> And then
- 24:39Yes.
- 24:42>> Papers.
- 24:43Um
- 24:44what is the what are the sources?
- 24:45>> check your bookmark and then just never
- 24:47ever look at it again. We've all been
- 24:48there.
- 24:49>> Now, imagine if you could skip all that
- 24:50manual highlighting and just transform
- 24:52it into a conversation.
- 24:53>> It sounds like magic, but it's the
- 24:55ultimate scenario for anyone drowning in
- 24:57data these days.
- 24:58>> That is exactly what we're diving into.
- 24:59Welcome to the show. We're so glad
- 25:01you're here.
- 25:01>> We live in an era where we're starving
- 25:03for actual synthesized understanding
- 25:06amidst all this information.
- 25:08>> And that synthesis
- 25:09>> Wow.
- 25:11Can this be done in any language, any
- 25:12accent?
- 25:13>> Okay, we can pause.
- 25:18No, only in English for now.
- 25:20>> For now, okay.
- 25:21>> So like the team working on Notebook LM
- 25:24is adding like more languages to it. So
- 25:27later on you can have like you can
- 25:28interact with the hosts in any other
- 25:31language, but for now it is only
- 25:32English. I can see that you got
- 25:34impressed Rory to an extent that you
- 25:35kept it playing. You did not pause it.
- 25:38You wanted to see like how they are
- 25:40going to be answering your questions, so
- 25:43>> Yeah, but it's it's a lot to take on,
- 25:45yeah, and it's
- 25:46>> Can we go back to the studio? Perfect.
- 25:48Okay, so you can check the infographic
- 25:50for example.
- 25:51AI research tool.
- 25:54>> Um, which one?
- 25:58AI research tool.
- 26:01This one?
- 26:03Oh, wow.
- 26:03>> Yes, under the podcast AI research tool.
- 26:07Yes.
- 26:09Yes.
- 26:14So this is an infographic that like
- 26:16explains to you what Notebook LM is
- 26:18like. But it is used a legal and
- 26:22notebook together. You're going to get
- 26:23to see when you want to create an info
- 26:27graphic, you're able to choose like what
- 26:30visual layout you want.
- 26:32And that is amazing because you know
- 26:34exactly what your students love for
- 26:37example, so you would choose something
- 26:38that is like
- 26:40close to what really gets them excited.
- 26:43So this is an example of how an
- 26:46infographic can look like. You can post
- 26:47it on their on your LMS, you can post it
- 26:51as like um materials for your students
- 26:53to check, for example, and so on.
- 26:55So, okay.
- 26:56>> Would it work by just saying, create an
- 26:58infographic Lego style about this, this,
- 27:02and that?
- 27:06>> Yes, and that is what we're going to be
- 27:08seeing when I start demonstrating,
- 27:10showing you how you can customize every
- 27:12single feature here by writing your own
- 27:14prompt.
- 27:15So, I believe that they've seen like
- 27:17most of the features here on that
- 27:21notebook that I shared with them, so now
- 27:23we can get started to the second section
- 27:26of our
- 27:27session,
- 27:29which is Let me share my screen.
- 27:34>> I wanted to do just one quick
- 27:36>> Okay.
- 27:36>> uh intermission.
- 27:39>> Just one short intermission of 3 minutes
- 27:41for everyone.
- 27:42Um
- 27:43where
- 27:45would love to share with everyone one
- 27:47poll and that Sarah can put up on what
- 27:50is it that you've learned?
- 27:52Just to to to capture everything in your
- 27:54minds so far between yesterday and just
- 27:57this 30 minutes.
- 27:59Uh Sarah will put it up. If you could
- 28:01just share a little bit
- 28:04um
- 28:05so far how you're feeling
- 28:07and what you're learning. We'll just put
- 28:09it open for 2 minutes.
- 28:14>> Yeah, it's open.
- 28:16>> Perfect.
- 28:21And this gives everyone a chance to
- 28:25digest and then we'll continue uh going
- 28:28into you building your own notebook.
- 28:38And for everyone, this is the first time
- 28:40we're doing this for every one of us.
- 28:43Um and so we're um
- 28:45learning as we go on how to be able to
- 28:48communicate with you, how to put
- 28:50together the content that would be most
- 28:52useful to building a business
- 28:55and to marketing it. So, that's why some
- 28:58of these things help us to be able to
- 29:00know what we can adjust, what we can
- 29:02improve because we want to continuously
- 29:04do this.
- 29:05And to be honest,
- 29:07we're doing our best to make sure that
- 29:08every session is a world-class
- 29:11and a useful session, but
- 29:13we may not always get it right. And this
- 29:15is where your support and encouragement
- 29:19and guiding us
- 29:21helps so much. So, thank you.
- 29:28I mean,
- 29:29incredible. [clears throat] More than
- 29:3055% of us
- 29:33have already filled it in
- 29:351 minute and 30 seconds.
- 29:37This is also a great way
- 29:39to make sure that everyone's on the same
- 29:41page, everyone is centered because
- 29:44I know someone could be leaving and get
- 29:46distracted by something else. Now, we
- 29:48just kind of recenter, we recheck in.
- 29:56Okay, that's
- 29:57that's good. We'll we'll pause it at,
- 29:59you know, in 30 more seconds.
- 30:01>> [clears throat]
- 30:02>> And then we'll go back into
- 30:04building your own notebook
- 30:06and bringing your own data to life. And
- 30:08just one more reminder,
- 30:10there's a connection between product and
- 30:13marketing.
- 30:15Each one on its own does not work.
- 30:18So,
- 30:19the product is connects to the marketing
- 30:22by through AI by being able to talk to
- 30:26the app you're using. In yesterday's
- 30:27case was Replit.
- 30:29You can ask it to whatever business
- 30:31you're building, product you're
- 30:32building, write the product spec,
- 30:35write a business plan.
- 30:37And then you can feed it into Notebook
- 30:39LM. And then another really important
- 30:41thing, you are doing something in
- 30:44potentially the customer support space
- 30:47where you want to build a chatbot,
- 30:50a Notebook LM is the perfect thing
- 30:52because it does not hallucinate.
- 30:55So then you can put the entire tutorial
- 30:57of your product, the entire customer
- 30:59support of your product into the sources
- 31:01of Notebook LM,
- 31:02and then it can create all of this for
- 31:04your future customers.
- 31:06>> [clears throat and cough]
- 31:08>> And that's why we selected it.
- 31:10All right, let's end the poll. Back over
- 31:12to you.
- 31:13>> Lubna.
- 31:17Sure, thank you, Roy. Okay.
- 31:20So,
- 31:24we will just have like a quick recap,
- 31:26okay, on what we've learned so far. So,
- 31:29Notebook LM, as you've seen yourselves,
- 31:32is that AI platform that would help you
- 31:35create content and become your
- 31:37personalized AI learning companion.
- 31:40But as we know, what makes it a safe
- 31:42learning platform, as Roy said, is that
- 31:45it is grounded in the information it
- 31:47provide or you provide it with. So,
- 31:50as he said, it is not going to
- 31:51hallucinate.
- 31:53>> [snorts]
- 31:53>> So,
- 31:54just like making sure that you all now
- 31:57are familiar with Notebook LM's
- 31:59interface. So, we've agreed that the
- 32:02first thing that we need to do when
- 32:03starting a notebook is adding your own
- 32:05sources. You can get other sources from
- 32:08the internet. And then you can start
- 32:10chatting with the sources and questions
- 32:12regarding the sources in the chat
- 32:14section in the middle.
- 32:16And then you have the studio section
- 32:18that you're going to be exploring
- 32:19yourself right now, not from the
- 32:21perspective of a receiver, but now
- 32:24you're going to be creating content
- 32:26yourself, the same way I did with the
- 32:28notebook I shared with you.
- 32:32But you need to know the key benefits of
- 32:33Notebook LM.
- 32:35Something that you need to know as well
- 32:36is that Notebook Kalam is part of Google
- 32:39Workspace core services, meaning that
- 32:42any data that you enter is not going to
- 32:45be used to train AI models. And I
- 32:47believe that this piece of info is
- 32:50really important because everyone fears
- 32:52that the sensitive data they enter or
- 32:54anything that they type is going to be
- 32:56used to train AI models. This doesn't
- 32:58happen in Notebook Kalam.
- 33:00We've talked about how it is grounded in
- 33:02true information you trust, but as you
- 33:04have seen yourself, like just by
- 33:05clicking on any of the features you're
- 33:07able to create a presentation in
- 33:08seconds, an infographic, a mind map, and
- 33:11so on.
- 33:12And of course, it is multimodal and
- 33:14multilingual, even if the sources that
- 33:17you upload are in a like a specific
- 33:19language, let's say are in English,
- 33:21you're able to create content in Arabic,
- 33:24in French, and we're going to see this
- 33:26while I'm demonstrating a notebook in
- 33:28front of you. So,
- 33:30let's move on to demonstrating, and then
- 33:34you are going to be working along with
- 33:36me, creating your own notebook.
- 33:38I'm going to show you a quick example of
- 33:41a notebook. This one is for all the
- 33:43educators joining us today.
- 33:47And the rest of you are going to like
- 33:49see Notebook Kalam's full potential so
- 33:51that you'd be able to know how by the
- 33:54end of the session you'd be leaving
- 33:56knowing the different kinds of notebooks
- 33:58you're going to be creating. So, this
- 34:01demonstration for 7 minutes is going to
- 34:04help you unleash your creativity and
- 34:06know exactly how it is going to help you
- 34:09create content. So, here for example, I
- 34:12uploaded a PDF for a year seven science
- 34:16book.
- 34:17So, since I'm based in Kuwait, so I went
- 34:20to the Ministry of Education like
- 34:22digital platform, opened the website,
- 34:25and I downloaded the PDF for year seven
- 34:29for the science book.
- 34:31So, we'll talk about the very first
- 34:33part.
- 34:35When you upload sources, you do not just
- 34:37like upload PDFs. Like, this is not the
- 34:40only type of file that you can upload.
- 34:43You can upload files from your computer,
- 34:46from your device, files that you have
- 34:48regardless of their type.
- 34:51You can even add links for websites, for
- 34:54YouTube videos that you would like to
- 34:56add them as sources as well.
- 34:59You are able to add anything you have in
- 35:02your drive.
- 35:04And you know how university students
- 35:06like start jotting down ideas or like
- 35:09um like um they brainstorm or take notes
- 35:13after the lecture, so they can just like
- 35:16copy and paste all of the notes that
- 35:18they've taken and paste them here so
- 35:19that they can use their own notes as
- 35:22sources as well.
- 35:24If you're not sure like of whether like
- 35:28that source or your file is supported by
- 35:31Notebook Alem or can be uploaded to be
- 35:34used as a source in Notebook Alem, you
- 35:36can just hover over this section here
- 35:40that says "and more" so that you can see
- 35:42the supported file types. Okay? And that
- 35:46is the first and the most important part
- 35:49when creating a notebook because the
- 35:51rest of the things you're going to be
- 35:52doing in your notebook depend on the
- 35:54sources you're going to be uploading.
- 35:58And by the way, you can upload up to 50
- 36:00sources, okay, which is amazing.
- 36:02So, that PDF that I uploaded has like
- 36:05hundreds of pages. Like, it contains 300
- 36:08or 500 pages. So, I know that all of the
- 36:11educators joining us today know exactly
- 36:14how long it used to take for them to
- 36:17like create a presentation on a certain
- 36:19lesson, to create a lesson plan for
- 36:21students, flash cards, and then they
- 36:23would have to use a third-party app if
- 36:25they would like to create an image like
- 36:28any visual that would explain or
- 36:30summarize the content for the students,
- 36:32this can take them like few days so that
- 36:35they would be able to provide students
- 36:36with something that is like
- 36:38professional. Now they can do all of
- 36:40this in seconds.
- 36:43Before I move on to the next section, I
- 36:45would like to let you know that along
- 36:47with the sources that I uploaded, you
- 36:50can just type here
- 36:52grade seven, for example, science book
- 36:57Kuwait
- 36:59curriculum.
- 37:01If you would like to get more sources
- 37:03from the internet
- 37:04to add them to the source you've already
- 37:06uploaded.
- 37:08So it is going to start searching the
- 37:09internet right now for anything related
- 37:12to grade seven science curriculum.
- 37:15And it is going to provide you with all
- 37:17the sources it found online
- 37:20as you can see here.
- 37:22Okay? Some of them are videos. You can
- 37:24find like websites, different kinds of
- 37:27sources here. You can select them all
- 37:29and add them or you can just like select
- 37:32the sources you want.
- 37:34Okay? Or if you don't like any of the
- 37:36sources, just feel free to just go back
- 37:39to the sources you have
- 37:41and you can just like simply delete the
- 37:43sources that you got from the internet
- 37:45or you can import them and add them to
- 37:47the sources you have.
- 37:48>> [sighs and gasps]
- 37:49>> Next we're going Before I move to the
- 37:51second section, like everything is clear
- 37:53regarding the sources section. Now
- 37:56you're familiar with how to upload your
- 37:59sources to the notebook.
- 38:02Perfect. The different types Roy, I
- 38:04guess you're muted.
- 38:06Guess you're muted.
- 38:07>> Uh I was just going to say let's get a
- 38:08reaction from everyone. Okay, perfect.
- 38:10Everyone's got the thumb up. So thumb up
- 38:13if you're clear on sources. If you're
- 38:15unclear on sources
- 38:17uh put it in the uh question and answer
- 38:20so that we can look at the most common
- 38:22Q&As and then we can help with that.
- 38:26Okay, cool.
- 38:27>> Exactly. Maybe during the prayer time,
- 38:29like help whatever needs help.
- 38:32Or something like
- 38:32>> Yes. So, we're going to have the uh the
- 38:34prayer break in 7 minutes.
- 38:36Uh however,
- 38:38uh we're continuing on this notebook and
- 38:40we're going to have two paths. Um for
- 38:43those who um will or will
- 38:46um will be praying, they'll be praying.
- 38:48And for those who it doesn't apply to,
- 38:50then you'll be able to use and digest
- 38:52everything that you've learned so far by
- 38:54adding
- 38:56potentially starting your notebook,
- 38:58start adding your own sources. So, it's
- 39:00not going to be anything new. It's going
- 39:01to be just a digestion of everything
- 39:03that we've been doing so far. So, it can
- 39:05apply to you directly. Amazing with all
- 39:07the thumbs up. We're going to keep an
- 39:08eye on the Q&A so that we can answer
- 39:10your questions when it comes to sources.
- 39:14>> Perfect. Okay. So,
- 39:17now we'll move on to the section in the
- 39:19middle. Remember the notebook that I
- 39:21shared with you when we started typing
- 39:23questions and then it replied by saying
- 39:26like welcome to Khan's AI hackathon. How
- 39:29I was able to do that. Let me show you
- 39:31how you can personalize your own
- 39:34notebook and make it reply in a specific
- 39:36way to whoever asks a question or
- 39:39whoever you share the notebook with.
- 39:41Okay? So, here you can start configuring
- 39:45your notebook. If you click on the icon
- 39:48here that you can see,
- 39:50here you can start like telling your
- 39:52notebook, I want you to reply in a
- 39:54specific way. Maybe you would like the
- 39:56notebook to reply as a learning guide.
- 39:59Okay? So,
- 40:02whatever
- 40:03like
- 40:04regard
- 40:05this is the question that the student
- 40:07would ask the notebook,
- 40:09the notebook would
- 40:12start answering the questions if it is a
- 40:14private tutor, okay? Or you can
- 40:16customize it your own way. Let's say
- 40:18you're a
- 40:19university professor. You would like to
- 40:22start by saying
- 40:24like um hello lovely students, and then
- 40:28you would write
- 40:30right here
- 40:31here because this is the
- 40:33>> Lubna, I think your connection is uh
- 40:35dropping off a little bit. That's why
- 40:37we're getting a lot of oohs.
- 40:40>> What?
- 40:45You
- 40:46can say like reply, okay? Is that it?
- 40:55Can you hear me?
- 40:57>> Uh
- 40:58maybe
- 40:59>> of you hear me like I'm live with the
- 41:00rest of you?
- 41:01>> I think that's the oohs. If If the
- 41:03reason of the oohs is uh is a poor
- 41:05connection, uh please everyone leave a a
- 41:08heart.
- 41:10Just so we get a sense if that's what it
- 41:12is.
- 41:15Yeah, I think part of it is uh is the
- 41:17internet connection. But at least the
- 41:19good news is that we're coming close to
- 41:21the the prayer time. So, after that,
- 41:23maybe we could do a speed test and then
- 41:25in like 20 minutes,
- 41:27um
- 41:28we'll have a better connection. Thanks,
- 41:30everyone.
- 41:31>> Can you hear me now?
- 41:33Good?
- 41:35>> I think so.
- 41:35>> Can you see my screen?
- 41:37>> Yes.
- 41:37>> Yeah, now it's it's better.
- 41:39>> Okay, perfect. So, here we were talking
- 41:42about that section in the middle, which
- 41:44is the chat section. So, for me to be
- 41:46able to personalize it and make it reply
- 41:49in a certain way to whoever asks a
- 41:52question. So, I can click on that icon
- 41:54here to configure the notebook. And
- 41:57then, I can decide if I want it to reply
- 42:01to students or like whoever is like um
- 42:04this notebook is shared with as a
- 42:06learning guide or as a private tutor.
- 42:09So, it is going to be acting as someone
- 42:11who provides step-by-step
- 42:14instructions, explaining
- 42:16concepts to the students as a teacher.
- 42:20Okay? Or I can customize it and write my
- 42:24own prompt. Like I can write hello year
- 42:26seven stars like I've done here. I can
- 42:29even like type here that I want it to
- 42:32reply as if it's addressing university
- 42:35students, as if it's addressing like
- 42:36year three students. So, I tell the
- 42:38notebook how it is going to reply
- 42:41to the ones who are going to be asking
- 42:43the questions.
- 42:44I can even like decide on whether I want
- 42:47the answers to be long ones or shorter
- 42:50ones. And after I just like customize it
- 42:52the way I want, I can just hit the save
- 42:55button. Rory, just like um I want to
- 42:58make sure that you can hear me well.
- 43:01Good?
- 43:03>> Yep.
- 43:04>> Okay.
- 43:05>> [laughter]
- 43:06>> Perfect.
- 43:08Okay, amazing. So, this is all about the
- 43:12the section in the middle, which is the
- 43:13chat section. Next, which is the most
- 43:16interesting part, all the things that
- 43:17you can do under the studio section.
- 43:21I told you about like the different
- 43:22kinds of output that you can create. But
- 43:25the best part is that can you see that
- 43:28arrow next to every single feature, next
- 43:31to audio overview, reports, and so on?
- 43:33This is how you can customize it.
- 43:36So, you know that I uploaded the entire
- 43:39book for year seven science curriculum.
- 43:42So, if I click on any of the features
- 43:45here, and by the way, you can just like
- 43:47click on any of them. If you do, it is
- 43:50going to create a podcast for the entire
- 43:53book,
- 43:54which is something I do not advise you
- 43:56to do. So, what I would do instead is I
- 43:59would click on the arrow here and start
- 44:02typing the prompt. Like I can just like
- 44:05type a really simple one by the way.
- 44:07Like, I can say focus on
- 44:10Okay, the plants lesson. And guess what?
- 44:15Without
- 44:16mentioning like which lesson it is, like
- 44:19I mean lesson number five, without
- 44:22mentioning
- 44:23um the page numbers, it is able to scan
- 44:27the content and gives you a podcast just
- 44:30focusing on the plants lesson. You see
- 44:33how amazing it is?
- 44:34And in [snorts] every single feature
- 44:36here, you're going to find that you can
- 44:38decide to dig deeper and have like
- 44:40[clears throat] a podcast, a detailed
- 44:42one. You can have a brief one. Okay, you
- 44:45can have a debate, for example.
- 44:48And you can decide on the length as
- 44:50well. You can decide on making it
- 44:52shorter. And the best part is the
- 44:54language. Regardless of the language of
- 44:57the sources that you upload, you can
- 44:59select a completely different language
- 45:02here.
- 45:04Okay? And you can check it out yourself
- 45:07if you go to the slide deck, you will
- 45:09find the exact same thing in here,
- 45:11whether you would like to have a
- 45:13detailed deck or presenter slides.
- 45:17Here for the flashcards,
- 45:19you can decide on the level of
- 45:21difficulty. If you want to have like
- 45:23easy flashcards, medium, or hard
- 45:26flashcards, you can type here in the
- 45:29prompt section if you would like to have
- 45:30a mix
- 45:32of like easy and like maybe uh medium
- 45:35flashcards. Okay?
- 45:38Here for the infographic,
- 45:41this is like one of the most like
- 45:43interesting ones.
- 45:44This is like the visual styles that you
- 45:46can choose from. Remember the one that I
- 45:49had in my notebook that I shared with
- 45:50you?
- 45:51I chose the bricks one, this one. So,
- 45:54you can choose from different visual
- 45:56styles here
- 45:58for your infographic.
- 46:00You can even like choose whether you
- 46:02want it to be like a portrait or a
- 46:04landscape or even a square one that
- 46:07would fit in your presentation for
- 46:08example or your website. So, you would
- 46:11choose like how you would like the
- 46:13orientation to be like.
- 46:16>> I think we need to wrap up the session
- 46:18soon.
- 46:19>> soon. Maybe let's give it in maybe
- 46:20another minute and then we get to it.
- 46:23>> Sure. If you would go to the reports
- 46:25one, this one is like amazing because
- 46:28it just like scans your content and then
- 46:31it provides you with some suggestions
- 46:33based on the content. Because I have a
- 46:36year seven book, so here it started
- 46:38suggesting that I can create an
- 46:40instructional framework. I can create
- 46:43like a curriculum alignment review,
- 46:45inquiry method handbook and so on. And
- 46:48of course it gives you the option to
- 46:49create a study guide, a briefing doc and
- 46:52so on. So, these are all things that
- 46:54you're going to be exploring yourself
- 46:56after the prayer break when we start
- 46:58working on your own notebook. And don't
- 47:00worry, we're going to provide you with
- 47:02the materials that you're going to be
- 47:03using for your own notebook so that you
- 47:06can follow along and by the end of the
- 47:08session you would be like leaving with a
- 47:10notebook that you've created yourselves.
- 47:13>> All right.
- 47:14>> So
- 47:15>> Okay everyone, we're going to
- 47:16>> go for the prayer
- 47:17>> Um yeah, what whoever wants to um pause
- 47:20for the prayer break, please do. We're
- 47:22going to return at 7:15. So, in 25 at
- 47:267:10 in 20 minutes.
- 47:29Um the we should give us 20 minutes
- 47:30until we we close the session.
- 47:33And for everyone who stays, uh we're
- 47:35going to do something
- 47:38um fun.
- 47:40We're not going to learn anything new.
- 47:42However, we're going to apply something
- 47:44new. And if you're interested in what
- 47:45I'm about to say,
- 47:47uh
- 47:49react with uh
- 47:52with a tada.
- 47:54So, the idea is
- 47:55um we're going to link what we did
- 47:58yesterday.
- 47:59I didn't even start to say it. You can't
- 48:01say it ah yet.
- 48:03So, we're going to link what we did
- 48:04yesterday
- 48:06with what we're doing today.
- 48:08Uh yesterday we built a product
- 48:11with Replit.
- 48:12So, we'll bring back Rama
- 48:14who was our lead instructor
- 48:16uh who'll share her screen. No, I can go
- 48:18on mute. Who's actually sitting next to
- 48:20me. So, I'll go on mute as she as she
- 48:22goes on.
- 48:23Um and
- 48:26and she will prompt Replit. And I guess
- 48:28by today you will have
- 48:30new credits on Replit
- 48:33in order to get some content
- 48:35and then add them to a notebook a fresh
- 48:37notebook LM as a source.
- 48:39Which is going to be one exercise that
- 48:41will allow you to link what you did
- 48:42yesterday with what you're going to do
- 48:43today.
- 48:46And
- 48:47once we return from the prayer break
- 48:50in any case we're going to give you a
- 48:52document. So, you could use that
- 48:53document. And so, everybody will be at
- 48:55the exact same place. But in some cases
- 48:59you'll have a document and bring it to
- 49:00life.
- 49:02And in other cases um
- 49:05you will have your own product. And now
- 49:07I just got a signal from Rama saying
- 49:11So, win some time. So, I'm winning some
- 49:14time by talking to you about the weather
- 49:16uh while Replit loads.
- 49:18>> [laughter]
- 49:20>> Replit is cooking.
- 49:21>> Uh Replit is cooking as you saw
- 49:23yesterday. Replit cooks.
- 49:27Um
- 49:29perfect
- 49:31um one thing that we're also going to
- 49:32share at some point in between the two
- 49:34sessions. And I hope everyone stays
- 49:36is um we're going to share a a poll just
- 49:40asking you if what have you learned that
- 49:43you couldn't confidently do before.
- 49:46Two, have you thought about ideas that
- 49:48you want to build and what will you
- 49:49build?
- 49:51And three, what can we do better?
- 49:53Uh so we'll share those so that we can
- 49:56properly digest and and learn to get
- 49:58better for the next
- 50:00event and for the next days.
- 50:04Thank you everyone for the hearts.
- 50:06And sometimes it's good to take a just a
- 50:08little break and not cram everything in
- 50:103 hours because it's a lot to learn. And
- 50:13this thing is so powerful. Notebook LMS
- 50:17so master it because
- 50:20I know you already have your your your
- 50:22your video demo, your slide deck, your
- 50:25everything in one go. So you can really
- 50:27go from let's say 0 to 70% when it comes
- 50:30to go to market.
- 50:33Tomorrow
- 50:34we're going to take you to the 100%.
- 50:37The best possible videos
- 50:39um
- 50:41using [clears throat] Google tools too,
- 50:42Vimeo
- 50:43Nano Banana
- 50:44and others. Uh pictures
- 50:47uh pitch decks and slide decks that go
- 50:50exactly based on your company's
- 50:51branding. But if you're just getting
- 50:53started, you want to go from 0 to 70%.
- 50:56This
- 50:57is the best tool out there.
- 51:05It's cooking?
- 51:07What is it cooking?
- 51:12The old bashar.
- 51:14The old bashar is a Lebanese dish.
- 51:16Uh I'm hungry.
- 51:18Um so oh, so you're creating the file?
- 51:21Hey, let's show everyone how you create
- 51:23the file. Yeah, let jump in, share. Adi.
- 51:30Okay, so Rama's going to come in. She's
- 51:32sitting next to me so I'm going to go on
- 51:33mute so that you don't hear the echo.
- 51:54>> Hello everyone.
- 51:56Can I have a salt?
- 51:58And some of the grease.
- 52:03Hi again. Uh
- 52:06So
- 52:08Uh
- 52:11Sorry, I was
- 52:14Let's switch in English.
- 52:17I I'm using Replit to create a file.
- 52:21Uh
- 52:22so I can use it in Notebook LM.
- 52:25So uh I can
- 52:27create videos, infographic, and as Lubna
- 52:31said, there is a lot of features in
- 52:33there. So let's
- 52:36use our magic box in Replit and tell
- 52:39Replit that
- 52:41I need
- 52:42a
- 52:43file
- 52:47about
- 52:51uh
- 52:58make a wish.
- 53:07Okay, let's go to
- 53:09our
- 53:11project from yesterday.
- 53:18Let's go from this square right here.
- 53:22Open up our agent
- 53:24and ask
- 53:26for
- 54:29>> Okay. I assume the prompt. Let's wait
- 54:32and see if we
- 54:35can start it.
- 54:54As you can see,
- 54:56um it it's creating the file now.
- 55:04And while it's cooking, I can show you
- 55:07some of my previous project
- 55:10in Notebook Alem. Um
- 55:13you can use Notebook Alem for everything
- 55:16basically. If you are a teacher, if you
- 55:19are a student, if you are
- 55:21uh just someone trying to organize their
- 55:24ideas, their documents, um uh
- 55:28whatever you need you need. It's like a
- 55:30rock system uh in your Google Workspace.
- 55:34So, for For
- 55:35I have
- 55:37uh this right here.
- 55:40It's for the 2030 version
- 55:44of Saudi Arabia.
- 55:46I just uploaded the 20
- 55:5030 version
- 55:52PDF file
- 55:53and I asked the agent in Notebook AI
- 55:58to
- 56:00For example, here I asked what is the
- 56:02most important goal of the
- 56:05uh Vision 2030 and it's
- 56:09the the Also, I can use English. So,
- 56:12let's try here together.
- 56:14Uh
- 56:33Now, it's going to give us the
- 56:36answer.
- 56:44To read through our source, which is the
- 56:47PDF file uploaded.
- 56:50Um
- 56:51There is There we go.
- 57:03Still working.
- 57:05Hm.
- 57:19I can check the Q&A.
- 57:21>> Hm.
- 57:24>> Okay.
- 57:25Uh
- 57:29I don't know if you can see the Q&A uh
- 57:32with me because I don't think that Zoom
- 57:35is
- 57:35allowing me to share the
- 57:38Q&A.
- 57:41But, let's see.
- 57:43Is Notebook LM secure
- 57:46about data and privacy?
- 57:48If
- 57:49a course has more than
- 57:52Okay.
- 57:53For this question, I'm going to answer
- 57:55it live.
- 57:56Uh
- 58:00You should
- 58:02be aware that you cannot
- 58:05ever
- 58:06put any private data or personal data
- 58:09through AI.
- 58:10Uh for example, if you have like
- 58:14study materials
- 58:17general
- 58:18documents, you can use that and put it
- 58:21everywhere. But, if it's something
- 58:23personal or private,
- 58:25I would say no. Nothing
- 58:29secure in the internet.
- 58:32How does Zoom know that Rama is talking
- 58:35and not Roy?
- 58:37>> How does Zoom know?
- 58:38>> [laughter]
- 58:50>> Let's go back to our applet. Still
- 58:54loading.
- 59:09Yeah, I can see some
- 59:11thumbs up.
- 59:14>> [clears throat]
- 59:27>> So, something like that. The question is
- 59:29still
- 59:30Make it two
- 59:31>> [clears throat]
- 59:31>> minutes.
- 59:32So I just waited to get you done.
- 59:40Question is done.
- 59:43If you connect with the team that is
- 59:47the bakery, that is for you.
- 59:50Okay, please leave the room.
- 59:53That's all.
- 59:55They choose.
- 59:56>> Um.
- 59:57>> That's the limit.
- 59:58The whole time I need you.
- 1:00:00If
- 1:00:01>> They choose for us.
- 1:00:03>> Should we
- 1:00:04>> Why is everyone like in a cult?
- 1:00:10>> [laughter]
- 1:00:13>> Um.
- 1:00:14>> Okay, so all of that means no.
- 1:00:16That they haven't started your project,
- 1:00:19but your idea is still in the people. So
- 1:00:21put in all
- 1:00:23if you're
- 1:00:24building the bakery, put in four if
- 1:00:27you're building something else based on
- 1:00:28what helps you in your goal.
- 1:00:34Okay, we're still bakery. You're 25%
- 1:00:37into the herbs.
- 1:00:42Okay, more herbs. Okay, so my question
- 1:00:45to everyone then
- 1:00:46>> Put that in the Q&A. We'll look at the
- 1:00:48latest questions.
- 1:00:50What would it take
- 1:00:52and this is a serious question to switch
- 1:00:55from the bakery. The bakery is great.
- 1:00:58But to switch it to your own business,
- 1:01:00something that you want to do. And you
- 1:01:01don't have to be an entrepreneur. You
- 1:01:03can just do things to be more productive
- 1:01:05at work and whatnot. Put that and let's
- 1:01:08we'll keep an eye on the most recent
- 1:01:09questions.
- 1:01:12Now the voice is cluttering.
- 1:01:14No.
- 1:01:15Cluttering or are there most recent?
- 1:01:19>> It is this.
- 1:01:20>> How is it now, sorry?
- 1:01:21>> Um.
- 1:01:24>> Okay. so the API key, I'm going to say
- 1:01:27it again.
- 1:01:29For the API key, you need to
- 1:01:32go to the payment platform
- 1:01:36and you need to create an account with
- 1:01:38them. And once you do, they'll give you
- 1:01:41your API key, and then you can use it in
- 1:01:43Rapid in order to connect it to your uh
- 1:01:45uh app.
- 1:01:49You need to transfer the money.
- 1:01:52>> I see a lot of people saying that they
- 1:01:55are not
- 1:01:56getting what I'm saying or what we're
- 1:01:58doing. Basically, we're asking
- 1:02:00>> Okay, audio is is breaking.
- 1:02:06Um I will switch to my computer because
- 1:02:08it might have a better audio.
- 1:02:10>> Roy, it was breaking, but now it's fine.
- 1:02:20>> Hey, everyone. Can you hear me better?
- 1:02:22If you can, please give a thumbs up.
- 1:02:27Okay.
- 1:02:29Um
- 1:02:31So, uh we're going to
- 1:02:33So, I was going to ask in the Q&A,
- 1:02:37uh let us know
- 1:02:38what would convert you
- 1:02:41from
- 1:02:42um building the app that we suggested
- 1:02:45yesterday, which is the bakery, which is
- 1:02:46excellent. It's a perfect example for
- 1:02:49cross-functional business that's easy to
- 1:02:51learn and easy to build, to the heart,
- 1:02:55which is
- 1:02:57if I'm a designer, I'm building
- 1:02:58something for design. Um if I'm
- 1:03:01um
- 1:03:02a translator, I'm building something for
- 1:03:05linguistics and and an agency for
- 1:03:07translation.
- 1:03:09Um
- 1:03:10if I'm a fitness
- 1:03:12instructor, I can build a fitness app
- 1:03:14for everyone.
- 1:03:15So, please put in the uh
- 1:03:18Q&A, and I'm going to go down to the
- 1:03:20most recent ones on what would get you
- 1:03:23to change.
- 1:03:29Uh yes, Engineer Mansour. The Cloud
- 1:03:31Session, well, Cloud is is has a free
- 1:03:34tier, but we're going to explore the
- 1:03:36depth of Cloud, which is Cloud Code,
- 1:03:38Cloud Co-Work, and Cloud Extension.
- 1:03:41That's the
- 1:03:43the
- 1:03:43frontier and for this one it is the paid
- 1:03:46plan, but you can follow along so that
- 1:03:48you can see what it can do.
- 1:04:04Okay, Miriam. Thanks.
- 1:04:11Project submission for everyone.
- 1:04:13I'll share my screen and I'll explain
- 1:04:16what that is.
- 1:04:20Replacing the current share. Let me just
- 1:04:23set it up.
- 1:04:26Okay.
- 1:04:32Okay, if you can see my screen, please
- 1:04:34leave a heart.
- 1:04:39Okay, perfect.
- 1:04:41The link that we're using for everything
- 1:04:44is
- 1:04:45Kens/hack.
- 1:04:47That's a very simple
- 1:04:49um link
- 1:04:51for
- 1:04:52anyone to be able to um get to and see
- 1:04:55the agenda every day.
- 1:04:58Down there, there's going to be the
- 1:04:59agenda.
- 1:05:01Up here is going to be the summary of
- 1:05:03what we did yesterday including the
- 1:05:04recording of the video and some people
- 1:05:06said I can't see the video. It's
- 1:05:08processed, it's live, it's here.
- 1:05:11You can play it.
- 1:05:15Oh, and in this video
- 1:05:17you have three things. You have what we
- 1:05:19did yesterday,
- 1:05:20how we built it so that you can go back
- 1:05:22to the each prompt that we did,
- 1:05:25and setting up the payment system,
- 1:05:29and launching it on the web if you want
- 1:05:31to publish it on the App Store and
- 1:05:33Google Play.
- 1:05:34Now, these two things we didn't do. We
- 1:05:36showed you how, but we didn't do them.
- 1:05:38These we did.
- 1:05:41And finally, the attendance
- 1:05:43demographics,
- 1:05:45uh from which countries we came we
- 1:05:47dialed in from 143 countries.
- 1:05:53And then the next thing
- 1:05:54is submitting your project.
- 1:05:57So,
- 1:05:59on
- 1:06:00the 21st,
- 1:06:02so next No, on the 20th,
- 1:06:05you're going to please submit your
- 1:06:06project.
- 1:06:08You're going to have just a few things
- 1:06:09to fill.
- 1:06:10Most important thing in the hardest one,
- 1:06:13not the hardest one, but it's the proof
- 1:06:14that you did it,
- 1:06:16is a video demo of what you built.
- 1:06:20You can just be explaining what it is
- 1:06:22that you created and show a demo of it
- 1:06:24in 2 minutes.
- 1:06:27And add a few pictures.
- 1:06:30And then explain
- 1:06:31what you solved and who you solved it
- 1:06:33for.
- 1:06:35And
- 1:06:36once you hit submit,
- 1:06:38and then okay, there's the I'm okay to
- 1:06:41sh- to publish this in the showroom.
- 1:06:43Um you own your work,
- 1:06:46but I confirm that it's accurate and
- 1:06:47I've done you've done the work.
- 1:06:49If you have already started a project
- 1:06:51before the hackathon, you can submit it.
- 1:06:53It's not a problem. We're not doing
- 1:06:56anything outside of trying to build a
- 1:06:58platform to upskill
- 1:07:00and grow skills. So, ahlan wa sahlan.
- 1:07:03And then,
- 1:07:04am I being Am I open to being contacted
- 1:07:07by employers?
- 1:07:09So that they can find you. So this this
- 1:07:11submission
- 1:07:13is an AI agent
- 1:07:15that will then submit put everything
- 1:07:18inside
- 1:07:20here.
- 1:07:20Kenz/AI
- 1:07:23which is the agentic AI showroom. And
- 1:07:24I'm already seeing people submit things.
- 1:07:28If you're curious to know how grading
- 1:07:30works, you can click on how grading
- 1:07:31works.
- 1:07:33You'll understand what we feed into it.
- 1:07:37What the scoring mechanism is.
- 1:07:40How the scoring happens.
- 1:07:42Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:07:44And then this will generate the
- 1:07:47portfolio.
- 1:07:48Here's an example of
- 1:07:50a lady called Aisha in Dubai who created
- 1:07:54an Islamic finance trading platform.
- 1:07:58Uh it takes a second to load. We'll work
- 1:08:00on the speed
- 1:08:01to make it go faster.
- 1:08:03Um but once it does you'll see that
- 1:08:052-minute video demo of what she created
- 1:08:09all the way down to how she solved it
- 1:08:11and to the certificate with the Ministry
- 1:08:14of HR in Saudi Arabia and MHRSD
- 1:08:18Kenz and LAU first and foremost,
- 1:08:22Lebanese American University.
- 1:08:24Um while it loads
- 1:08:26I just wanted to check make sure that
- 1:08:28this is clear for everyone on what that
- 1:08:30submission is.
- 1:08:32The point for it is to be something that
- 1:08:34you are proud of.
- 1:08:37And that you are happy that you're like
- 1:08:38okay khalas, I spent a week and I've
- 1:08:40actually
- 1:08:41delivered something that I can look back
- 1:08:43on. And then when you share it with
- 1:08:44employers
- 1:08:47you'll be able to tell them that hey,
- 1:08:48this is some of the stuff I can do.
- 1:08:51I'm I stand apart from other applicants.
- 1:08:55We've got so many questions.
- 1:08:58Um I'm going to get to
- 1:09:04Yes, you do need to submit your video
- 1:09:08your
- 1:09:09Um it doesn't matter. Just whatever
- 1:09:11you'd want an employer to see.
- 1:09:15If someone submits a cat video or a
- 1:09:18concert, that's going to get caught. So,
- 1:09:21it'll be instantly caught.
- 1:09:23Um
- 1:09:24and unfortunately, we'll ask you to, you
- 1:09:26know, resubmit.
- 1:09:27Um because the AI is going to be taking
- 1:09:303-second screenshots of every video
- 1:09:32in order to uh see if it does what it
- 1:09:35says it does.
- 1:09:38Um
- 1:09:45It's part of Replit. It could be we're
- 1:09:46going to learn any and we're going to
- 1:09:47learn Claude in a bit.
- 1:09:49So, it could be any of those.
- 1:09:56Now, just as we return from the prayer
- 1:09:57break as we said 7:15,
- 1:10:00I just wanted to bring us back
- 1:10:02to the the the main topic. I just wanted
- 1:10:05to ask uh
- 1:10:07Rama, did did it did it create the
- 1:10:09documents? So, Rama Rama's computer
- 1:10:12created the documents. Just want to show
- 1:10:15And if you are actually uh seeing that
- 1:10:18document, not sure why it's not loading.
- 1:10:20We'll we'll we'll double-check that.
- 1:10:22If you are actually seeing that um
- 1:10:26results on Replit,
- 1:10:27please leave a heart.
- 1:10:30And Rama is going to just create a
- 1:10:31notebook with with these documents just
- 1:10:33to close the loop on this
- 1:10:35before uh we hand it back over and we'll
- 1:10:38give you a document. Oh, perfect. Lots
- 1:10:39of hearts.
- 1:10:40Yellow.
- 1:10:42I'll stop share and go
- 1:10:54>> Hello, everyone.
- 1:10:57Uh
- 1:10:57let's go back to Replit, but I just want
- 1:11:01to make sure that you can hear me.
- 1:11:06Please leave a thumb up if you can hear
- 1:11:08me.
- 1:11:09Okay, that's great.
- 1:11:11Uh, so I asked
- 1:11:14Replit to give me a file
- 1:11:17for the menu and the prices and another
- 1:11:19file for
- 1:11:22marketing strategy and how to grow my
- 1:11:24business.
- 1:11:25So, let's take a look.
- 1:11:28This is the first file, which is the
- 1:11:31menu.
- 1:11:34And we have here
- 1:11:36the marketing strategy file.
- 1:11:42Which is
- 1:11:4310 pages long
- 1:11:45with all the details.
- 1:11:47I created a
- 1:11:50a notebook
- 1:11:52with these
- 1:11:54documents, but just to show you how.
- 1:11:58Let's go back to the main page. We can
- 1:12:01click to create a new notebook
- 1:12:05from here
- 1:12:06and then we can upload the files.
- 1:12:11Uh,
- 1:12:12for me, I will just drag and drop them
- 1:12:14here.
- 1:12:19As we can see, it's loading.
- 1:12:24After it's completed,
- 1:12:28we can use our studio to
- 1:12:33create supporting uh
- 1:12:38For example, infographics,
- 1:12:41video, audio, or even
- 1:12:45a mind map.
- 1:12:47So, I'll go I'll show you what notebook
- 1:12:52uh I have created already.
- 1:12:54This is
- 1:12:55uh a marketing strategy and a brand
- 1:12:58roadmap for Khan's Bakery.
- 1:13:02Uh infographic with all the details.
- 1:13:06Very lovely infographic.
- 1:13:11And here we have
- 1:13:13>> Okay, this is the brief on driving foot
- 1:13:16traffic and brand awareness in Riyadh.
- 1:13:19>> Kind of a
- 1:13:20brief about
- 1:13:24the marketing strategy. And also we have
- 1:13:28this videos
- 1:13:30loading and a slide deck.
- 1:13:35We can just give it couple of minutes.
- 1:13:38And
- 1:13:40we'll see the result. Also, we can use
- 1:13:42the chat over here while we're waiting.
- 1:13:46For example,
- 1:13:53tell me about the bakery catering and
- 1:13:55corporate gift options.
- 1:13:58And it will scan the documents,
- 1:14:02go through our strategy. It's kind of an
- 1:14:05irrelevant question, honestly, but let's
- 1:14:07see what's the question or what's the
- 1:14:09answer, I mean.
- 1:14:16Uh please leave a tada if you like uh
- 1:14:20notebook LM because it's one of my
- 1:14:23favorite tools ever.
- 1:14:25Okay, that's great.
- 1:14:28Oh, I see a lot of Os. Why not, guys?
- 1:14:33>> What if we can
- 1:14:35>> If you have some concerns, any
- 1:14:37questions,
- 1:14:39I will try to answer them all in the Q&A
- 1:14:42and the team also is answering your
- 1:14:44questions if there is any
- 1:14:48points that you didn't get.
- 1:14:55Okay.
- 1:14:58Here is the
- 1:15:04>> [clears throat]
- 1:15:06>> Here is the
- 1:15:07slide
- 1:15:09that notebook curriculum is created.
- 1:15:13And less than 5 minutes,
- 1:15:15you have a slide
- 1:15:17very
- 1:15:21classy, very
- 1:15:23corporate, you know.
- 1:15:25And
- 1:15:27it's great.
- 1:15:30I will try to answer the Q&A live if you
- 1:15:33have some time before the
- 1:15:36Okay.
- 1:15:38Since it's 7:20 now, I will
- 1:15:42stop sharing my screen. Hope you like
- 1:15:44this quick demo and
- 1:15:47we were trying to link what we did
- 1:15:49yesterday with today's
- 1:15:53class
- 1:15:55and Lubna she was doing amazing. So,
- 1:15:58hand it back over to her. Thank you
- 1:16:00Lubna for
- 1:16:02your
- 1:16:03time.
- 1:16:05>> Thank you, Rama. I loved how you
- 1:16:07connected yesterday's
- 1:16:08work and session with what we've learned
- 1:16:10today.
- 1:16:11Um so, I was able to count through like
- 1:16:15most of the questions, okay, which is
- 1:16:18great. So,
- 1:16:20I'm going to take like a couple of
- 1:16:22minutes. The first thing that you guys
- 1:16:24suggested is that I share my entire
- 1:16:26screen.
- 1:16:27So, I'm going to be sharing my entire
- 1:16:30screen so that you would be able to see
- 1:16:32the cursor.
- 1:16:33Okay?
- 1:16:36So,
- 1:16:37I will try to answer most of your
- 1:16:39questions, especially like those 5
- 1:16:42minutes are for those who joined late
- 1:16:44today. So, I'm going to take you over
- 1:16:47from the very like
- 1:16:50like start or beginning, okay, of how to
- 1:16:52use Notebook LM.
- 1:16:54So, Roy, if you can help me with this
- 1:16:56and type in the chat
- 1:16:58notebooklm.google.com,
- 1:17:01that link here.
- 1:17:03notebooklm.google.com.
- 1:17:06So, for us to be able to open Notebook
- 1:17:08LM, you can open it this way.
- 1:17:11Or, you can open your Chrome browser the
- 1:17:13same way you do. Click on the waffle
- 1:17:15icon here.
- 1:17:17And then,
- 1:17:18you will find Notebook LM.
- 1:17:21If you would like to use Notebook LM on
- 1:17:23your phone, you can download it from the
- 1:17:25App Store because there's an application
- 1:17:27for Notebook LM as well. Okay? That is
- 1:17:29the very first thing that you need to
- 1:17:31know and that some of you have asked
- 1:17:33about, like how do I even open Notebook
- 1:17:35LM?
- 1:17:36The second is how do I create a new
- 1:17:39notebook? So, some of you checked the
- 1:17:41notebook that I shared, but now when it
- 1:17:43comes to creating your own notebook, you
- 1:17:45would like to know how to do so. So, if
- 1:17:47you clicked on the link shared by Roy in
- 1:17:50the chat
- 1:17:51box, or you opened Notebook LM yourself
- 1:17:55using that link,
- 1:17:57you're able to click here on the plus
- 1:17:59button so that you would be able to
- 1:18:01create a new notebook.
- 1:18:03The first thing that you're going to be
- 1:18:04requested to do is upload your sources.
- 1:18:09I would recommend that you close that
- 1:18:12window because some of you were asking,
- 1:18:15how do I switch to a different language?
- 1:18:17Like, I uploaded the sources, but by
- 1:18:19default, everything appeared in the
- 1:18:21middle in English or appeared in Arabic.
- 1:18:24The first thing that I would recommend
- 1:18:26that you do is go to the settings
- 1:18:29button here.
- 1:18:31And then, you would go to the output
- 1:18:34language.
- 1:18:36And then, select the language you want.
- 1:18:39The language you select in here is going
- 1:18:41to be the same language for anything
- 1:18:44you're going to be creating. All of the
- 1:18:46outputs you're going to be creating in
- 1:18:48here are going to be
- 1:18:51exported or like created in that
- 1:18:53language. So, you can choose Arabic, for
- 1:18:55example.
- 1:18:57And then, you click on save.
- 1:19:00Everything you're going to be uploading
- 1:19:01right now is going to appear here, a
- 1:19:04summary in Arabic.
- 1:19:05And then, whenever you click on any of
- 1:19:07the features under studio, it is going
- 1:19:09to appear in Arabic. If you would like
- 1:19:12it to appear in a different language,
- 1:19:14then you would have to click on the
- 1:19:16arrow next to every single one of them
- 1:19:19and select the other language you want.
- 1:19:21Okay? Just want to see your thumbs up so
- 1:19:23that I can see if this part is clear.
- 1:19:26I'm trying to just like provide you with
- 1:19:27a recap, amazing, so that you would know
- 1:19:30step-by-step instructions on how to get
- 1:19:33started,
- 1:19:34how to change the language, and so on.
- 1:19:36Perfect. Okay.
- 1:19:38So,
- 1:19:39I will get back
- 1:19:42here. So, we agreed that you would need
- 1:19:44to upload your sources. We talked about
- 1:19:47the different kinds of sources you can
- 1:19:49upload. They can be like any file you
- 1:19:51have,
- 1:19:52any link you have, whether it is a
- 1:19:54website, a YouTube video, anything you
- 1:19:56have in your drive, or even something
- 1:19:58that you've written yourself, you can
- 1:20:00paste it here.
- 1:20:02Am I allowed to upload sources and
- 1:20:05that's it? No, you can even search the
- 1:20:07internet for other sources to add in
- 1:20:10addition to what you've uploaded. Okay?
- 1:20:13That is when it comes to uploading
- 1:20:15files.
- 1:20:17When it comes to the chat section, we
- 1:20:20talked about customizing your chat or
- 1:20:22customizing your notebook. Okay?
- 1:20:26So, you can like decide on how exactly,
- 1:20:28like let me bring you this notebook that
- 1:20:30we've used, configuring the notebook so
- 1:20:32that you can decide on how it is going
- 1:20:36to reply to whoever asks a question.
- 1:20:40And if you want the answers to be short
- 1:20:41or long.
- 1:20:42And then when we go to the studio
- 1:20:44section, you have discovered like or
- 1:20:46explored all of those tools yourselves
- 1:20:49at the start of the session when I
- 1:20:51shared the notebook with you, okay? And
- 1:20:53after the session you're going to
- 1:20:54continue exploring them. But what I
- 1:20:57wanted you to know is that instead of
- 1:20:59clicking on any of the features here,
- 1:21:02you can click on the arrow so that you
- 1:21:05can customize it yourself. You can make
- 1:21:07it like more personalized. You can type
- 1:21:09here in the prompt section
- 1:21:12what exactly you want it to focus on.
- 1:21:14You want to create a podcast. You want
- 1:21:16the hosts to focus on which part or
- 1:21:18highlight which part from the sources
- 1:21:20that you've uploaded. You want to create
- 1:21:22a slide deck. You can click on the arrow
- 1:21:25here and start typing what you would
- 1:21:27like your presentation to focus on.
- 1:21:30And so on. Okay?
- 1:21:33The last question that many of you asked
- 1:21:36is how you can export it or how you can
- 1:21:38share it the same way I did. So you can
- 1:21:41share it by clicking on the share button
- 1:21:44here.
- 1:21:46And then you're going to copy the link
- 1:21:49and share it. And this is what you're
- 1:21:50going to be doing
- 1:21:52now.
- 1:21:53So what I want you to do in the last few
- 1:21:55minutes that we have, I want you to
- 1:21:58follow the exact same steps, open
- 1:22:00Notebook LM by going to
- 1:22:02notebooklm.google.com,
- 1:22:04or as I said, you click on the waffle
- 1:22:07icon here.
- 1:22:08And then you're going to
- 1:22:10click on Notebook LM.
- 1:22:12I want you to create a new notebook.
- 1:22:17Okay.
- 1:22:18And just a second.
- 1:22:22And I want you to upload the document
- 1:22:25I'll be sharing with you right now. So
- 1:22:27Roy, can you share the document with
- 1:22:28them?
- 1:22:31So, we have a document that the Kens
- 1:22:33team has shared with us. Okay, it is
- 1:22:36like um
- 1:22:37a brief on what the company is about,
- 1:22:40its mission, vision, success stories,
- 1:22:44its partnerships. Okay, all about Kens
- 1:22:47as an AI recruiter.
- 1:22:49So,
- 1:22:51this is what I want you to work on right
- 1:22:54now. So, the document that or the PDF
- 1:22:57that Roy is going to be sharing with you
- 1:22:59right now, I want you to upload the same
- 1:23:02PDF. So, you're going to be like
- 1:23:04uploading the file.
- 1:23:07You're going to be
- 1:23:08choosing the PDF or the Word document
- 1:23:11that Roy is going to be sharing with
- 1:23:12you.
- 1:23:13And you're going to hit
- 1:23:15open.
- 1:23:17Okay.
- 1:23:18I'm using a company device, that is why
- 1:23:20it is asking me if it is okay.
- 1:23:22>> Here we go. So, I just uploaded it.
- 1:23:24Everyone, can you please uh leave the
- 1:23:27tada? And I saw someone say, "What is
- 1:23:30the tada?"
- 1:23:31So, whoever is wondering what is tada,
- 1:23:33can everyone please show what is the
- 1:23:35tada
- 1:23:36reaction? Okay, this is it. That's the
- 1:23:38tada.
- 1:23:39Um
- 1:23:40so, I've up I've uploaded the document
- 1:23:43that is the background of Kens,
- 1:23:46anonymized.
- 1:23:47Like Rama told us, don't put your
- 1:23:50personal information, so all types of
- 1:23:52financials are anonymized.
- 1:23:55All types of corporate records and
- 1:23:57corporate registrations are not there.
- 1:24:00Uh there are testimonials, but we
- 1:24:01removed the last names of people, so
- 1:24:03it's only first names.
- 1:24:05That's something that you can generate
- 1:24:07for your own business.
- 1:24:09You could
- 1:24:11even if you are on Replit, you could
- 1:24:12say, "Come up with that strategy
- 1:24:14document." You could upload that.
- 1:24:16If you're working on the bakery, just
- 1:24:18like you can upload
- 1:24:20this document here, which is
- 1:24:23a Ken's master briefing document. It's
- 1:24:25quite complete. So, I'd recommend that
- 1:24:27you upload it, this one, because it
- 1:24:29includes a lot of things. Numbers,
- 1:24:32strategies, what we did,
- 1:24:35vision,
- 1:24:36um testimonials and success stories.
- 1:24:40This would be helpful for you to be able
- 1:24:42to bring your business to life.
- 1:24:49>> Amazing, Roy. So, in addition to the PDF
- 1:24:52that Roy has shared with me, I even
- 1:24:54added the link for Ken's website. So,
- 1:24:57that same website that Roy was sharing
- 1:24:59his screen and showing you a while ago,
- 1:25:02I just like copied the link
- 1:25:05and I added the link here.
- 1:25:09Let me just refresh the page.
- 1:25:11>> It's just important for everyone to
- 1:25:13realize that it's not just documents.
- 1:25:15It is links
- 1:25:16>> Yeah.
- 1:25:17>> and websites, videos, I think like at
- 1:25:20least links to videos. You can even put
- 1:25:22the link to your resume or attach your
- 1:25:24resume if you want to.
- 1:25:25So, the idea is like you can upload
- 1:25:28>> Nice. There we go.
- 1:25:29>> Mhm. That was amazing. Yes.
- 1:25:32>> So, you're So, I got a few questions
- 1:25:35like, how do I connect Replit to this?
- 1:25:38They're not connected, but you can
- 1:25:39connect them by asking Replit to give
- 1:25:41you documents. Someone asked, how do I
- 1:25:43download the documents in Replit?
- 1:25:45There's the download button. And then
- 1:25:47you upload it. So, they're not connected
- 1:25:48systems, but you just have to create
- 1:25:50your document in Replit or wherever you
- 1:25:53want,
- 1:25:54and then you can just upload it directly
- 1:25:56into
- 1:25:57um Notebook LM as a file or as links.
- 1:26:01And then, everything opens to you.
- 1:26:06>> Perfect. So, after uploading the
- 1:26:08documents here, you're going to find the
- 1:26:10summary appearing right away in the
- 1:26:11middle.
- 1:26:12>> I just want one thing.
- 1:26:14Everybody leave a reaction of
- 1:26:17a thumb up
- 1:26:18if you are you have uploaded a document
- 1:26:21to make sure that everybody is with us.
- 1:26:26Okay, great. Okay, over to you.
- 1:26:30>> Okay.
- 1:26:32So, we'll get back to
- 1:26:37that one.
- 1:26:38So, what we want you to do right now, we
- 1:26:41would like you to create like as many
- 1:26:43outputs as you can. We would like to see
- 1:26:45how you customize them as well. Like if
- 1:26:47you're creating an infographic, we would
- 1:26:49like to see like what visual style
- 1:26:52you're going to be choosing. If you
- 1:26:54would like it to be more focused, how
- 1:26:56you're going to customize it by writing
- 1:26:58your own prompt. So, we would like to
- 1:27:01see what you create in here from
- 1:27:03podcasts, infographics, slide decks as
- 1:27:07well.
- 1:27:08And
- 1:27:09do not forget that you can even like
- 1:27:12start asking questions in here to know
- 1:27:14more about Canvas as an AI recruiter.
- 1:27:17And after you do,
- 1:27:19you can share your notebook with us.
- 1:27:22We'll give you like few minutes to
- 1:27:23complete and like create as many outputs
- 1:27:26as you can. And then, as you know, you
- 1:27:29can click on the share button here.
- 1:27:31And then you can copy the link and leave
- 1:27:34it for us in the chat box, right Roy?
- 1:27:38>> Absolutely.
- 1:27:40>> Exactly.
- 1:27:42Okay.
- 1:27:45These are some of the things that I've
- 1:27:46created.
- 1:27:51Take a look at that presentation, for
- 1:27:53example.
- 1:27:56It's amazing. And by the way, like some
- 1:27:58of you have asked, can I export those
- 1:28:01things that I create in Notebook Alem?
- 1:28:03Yes, like if you created a presentation,
- 1:28:05you're able to
- 1:28:07like share it with others or click on
- 1:28:10the three-dot menu here and download it
- 1:28:13as PDF or as a PowerPoint. And like we
- 1:28:17had another question in like the Q&A
- 1:28:20asking, "Can I edit the presentation?"
- 1:28:23Yes. So, can you see that pen icon here?
- 1:28:27So, it enables you to revise or say
- 1:28:29exactly what you would like to edit
- 1:28:32in every single slide.
- 1:28:34So, if you would like to change the
- 1:28:35colors, for example, you can write here,
- 1:28:38"I want the colors to be like green and
- 1:28:40red, for example." What I always do in
- 1:28:42my presentations, I always write, "I
- 1:28:44want you to use Google colors." Okay?
- 1:28:47So, it helps my presentation look more
- 1:28:49Googley. So, that is something that you
- 1:28:51can do as well. If there's a spelling
- 1:28:53mistake, you can write here, like "I
- 1:28:55would like to fix the spelling of that
- 1:28:57word." And it is going to stick to like
- 1:29:00the prompt that you're writing here. So,
- 1:29:02in every single slide, you're able to
- 1:29:05write exactly what you would like to
- 1:29:06edit here.
- 1:29:07And like editing takes seconds and then
- 1:29:09you can find like another presentation
- 1:29:12generated for you.
- 1:29:16Look at that one like that one is really
- 1:29:17impressive. It's a short
- 1:29:20about like Cannes as an AI recruit.
- 1:29:26Or you can listen to the video, right?
- 1:29:29>> Mhm.
- 1:29:30>> Can you hear the sound?
- 1:29:31>> No, not yet. No.
- 1:29:35If it's playing at the moment.
- 1:29:36>> Okay.
- 1:29:38Yeah, it is playing. Okay. So, let's see
- 1:29:41how you guys are going to like creating
- 1:29:43your own Autodraw.
- 1:29:45>> I want to get
- 1:29:46feedback from all, yeah, from everyone.
- 1:29:49If you have created something for
- 1:29:51yourself,
- 1:29:53please leave a heart.
- 1:30:00Okay.
- 1:30:02Excellent.
- 1:30:04We're seeing 50/50 between hearts and
- 1:30:07Os.
- 1:30:08Excellent. I'm This already is
- 1:30:10excellent, by the way.
- 1:30:11So, if you understood what you need to
- 1:30:14do in order to to build something on
- 1:30:16your own,
- 1:30:17please leave a heart. And if you built
- 1:30:19something on your own, please leave a
- 1:30:20heart.
- 1:30:29>> Has anyone started sharing their
- 1:30:31notebooks?
- 1:30:35>> Um okay, so amazing.
- 1:30:40Okay, so
- 1:30:41thousands of people
- 1:30:43have gotten quite familiar with Notebook
- 1:30:46LM
- 1:30:47as a means to be able to expand their
- 1:30:49business. Now, as the last thing we want
- 1:30:51to do,
- 1:30:53um is
- 1:30:54if you're comfortable, if you're okay
- 1:30:56with it, just like you shared yesterday
- 1:30:57the app, the published app,
- 1:30:59um Lubna, does anyone need to do
- 1:31:01anything in order to uh just press the
- 1:31:03share button?
- 1:31:06Is it just this?
- 1:31:06>> Yes.
- 1:31:07And make sure that they share it with
- 1:31:09like anyone who has the link. That's it.
- 1:31:12>> Okay.
- 1:31:13Um so, can you please in the chat we're
- 1:31:16going to open the chat, so
- 1:31:19um share your notebooks
- 1:31:22to uh in the chat. We're going to open
- 1:31:25it for just a couple of 1 minute.
- 1:31:27Um don't chat anything outside of just
- 1:31:30the notebook.
- 1:31:36Uh so many hearts.
- 1:31:38Hey.
- 1:31:411 second. I'm the Q&A.
- 1:31:44Let's open Oh, there we go.
- 1:31:46Thank you, Sarah.
- 1:31:48Super cool.
- 1:31:50By the way, everyone, yesterday uh when
- 1:31:53you shared the published app, 1,000 7
- 1:31:56699 apps were shared by you all.
- 1:32:00How insane is it that in a two hour
- 1:32:01session we had 1,700 published apps and
- 1:32:05we're we're still everyone's still
- 1:32:06refining them. This is just the first
- 1:32:08draft, but this is
- 1:32:09a meaningful step. And now
- 1:32:12we're going to see a thousand plus
- 1:32:15notebooks
- 1:32:16combine these two
- 1:32:18you have your product, you have your
- 1:32:20business plan, you have your marketing
- 1:32:22material.
- 1:32:25And so all it takes from here on out is
- 1:32:27practice.
- 1:32:30We'll keep it open for a second. If you
- 1:32:31could like no other comments, but just
- 1:32:33the the shared notebook. Really
- 1:32:35appreciate that. This This way we can
- 1:32:37um bring somehow bring it back to
- 1:32:39everyone
- 1:32:40on what it is that we're we're learning.
- 1:32:43And again, every session is different.
- 1:32:45Every instructor is different
- 1:32:48um and everyone is doing this for the
- 1:32:49very first time.
- 1:32:51The fact that two hours later from 6:00
- 1:32:53to 7:40 there's
- 1:32:55we're started at 7,500 we we're 7,000
- 1:32:58people who are building their notebooks.
- 1:33:00That's incredible.
- 1:33:03So and that's also the biggest answer
- 1:33:07that I have
- 1:33:08when people say that EdTech does not
- 1:33:10scale unless you just build app and you
- 1:33:12ask people to do it yourselves.
- 1:33:14And you know, they have to learn from a
- 1:33:15video.
- 1:33:17No, of course it scales. Thousands of
- 1:33:19people can collaborate, build, feel the
- 1:33:21energy, commit more, learn more per
- 1:33:24minute spent.
- 1:33:26Um and it scales and here's the proof of
- 1:33:29it.
- 1:33:30So that's really a really nice data
- 1:33:32point for the EdTech community,
- 1:33:34especially if you are in the education
- 1:33:36space and you're wondering what the
- 1:33:38future of education is. I have no clue,
- 1:33:40but this to me is at least a positive
- 1:33:43data point.
- 1:33:50Uh any closing words, Lubna? And then
- 1:33:52we'll switch over to
- 1:33:54um
- 1:33:55the
- 1:33:56>> No, I was checking like the questions in
- 1:33:57the Q&A.
- 1:33:59So, many are sharing links there as
- 1:34:00well, which is amazing. So, I just
- 1:34:03wanted to thank everyone for attending
- 1:34:05today's session and like sorry for any
- 1:34:07like internet connection issues. Like it
- 1:34:09happens. Okay, and I hope that in that
- 1:34:12last recap I was able to cover or like
- 1:34:15give you a summary on how to create a
- 1:34:16notebook from scratch and I cannot wait
- 1:34:19to see like the rest of the notebooks
- 1:34:20you create and how you like use it to
- 1:34:22its full potential. Thank you so much.
- 1:34:24Thank you, Roy, as well.
- 1:34:26>> Thank you, Lubna. Thank you so much.
- 1:34:29Lubna has offered her time,
- 1:34:31uh her expertise.
- 1:34:33We've done a lot of rehearsals
- 1:34:35um and practice runs. And so, thank you,
- 1:34:38Lubna, from the bottom of our hearts.
- 1:34:41>> Thank you, Roy. I really enjoyed that.
- 1:34:43Thank you so much.
- 1:34:47>> All right.
- 1:34:48So, now we're going to
- 1:34:51put the uh before we open it up to the
- 1:34:56next session,
- 1:34:58um uh we're going to send one poll.
- 1:35:01Sarah, let me know if you have that poll
- 1:35:02open
- 1:35:03um
- 1:35:05to ask just three questions from
- 1:35:07everyone. We're going to stop the chat.
- 1:35:10>> Yeah, sure.
- 1:35:11>> One, two, three.
- 1:35:13And then we're going to put one poll to
- 1:35:15everyone
- 1:35:16just to jog everyone's memory
- 1:35:18on uh first of all,
- 1:35:21what have you learned because
- 1:35:23it's we're only on day one and a half of
- 1:35:25a seven-day span. We want to learn what
- 1:35:28can you confidently do now?
- 1:35:30What can you do now that you couldn't
- 1:35:32confidently do before?
- 1:35:34And these are all
- 1:35:36uh text. And take your time in writing
- 1:35:38this. You don't have to
- 1:35:40hurry. Take two, three minutes.
- 1:35:44Because what idea do you feel like
- 1:35:45bringing to life? It's not the final
- 1:35:47answer, but it's good for you to be able
- 1:35:49to take that step and say to okay, I'll
- 1:35:51this.
- 1:35:52So, take 3 minutes.
- 1:35:55But, I'm
- 1:35:56pushing you to commit.
- 1:35:59You don't have to commit. It's just an
- 1:36:01answer. But, I'm pushing you to push
- 1:36:04yourself and not procrastinate.
- 1:36:07And uh
- 1:36:10and thank you.
- 1:36:25And take the time you want to just write
- 1:36:26whatever you want. You can answer one of
- 1:36:28the questions. This is not a Guinness
- 1:36:30World Record thing.
- 1:36:32You can take your time to answer just
- 1:36:33one thoughtfully or two or three.
- 1:36:36If there's nothing in the what have you
- 1:36:38learned, leave it blank. If there's
- 1:36:40nothing on what we could do better,
- 1:36:41leave it blank. If you don't have an
- 1:36:42idea, you can leave it blank. But, try
- 1:36:44to give like one thoughtful
- 1:36:47feedback on at least one of the
- 1:36:48questions. And we're going to read
- 1:36:50everything tonight
- 1:36:53um to try to learn how to orient
- 1:36:55ourselves and
- 1:36:57deliver better things for you. And also
- 1:37:00for you to tell yourselves, "Okay, I'm
- 1:37:02going to build this thing. Yeah, let's
- 1:37:04go."
- 1:37:17There's a lot of O's.
- 1:37:19So, for any Oh, please feel free to just
- 1:37:21put it in the Q&A and we'll keep a close
- 1:37:23eye on it to understand um
- 1:37:25what may not be connecting right now.
- 1:37:27I'm going to open it. We're going We're
- 1:37:28opening it right now. There's 10 of us
- 1:37:29right now all at the Q&A trying to
- 1:37:32answer and and and support.
- 1:37:39Okay.
- 1:37:41It'll be great to talk about the
- 1:37:42project. Okay, Tony Macaroni, we got the
- 1:37:44point. Good. Uh but, it is a very
- 1:37:47frequently asked question.
- 1:37:49So,
- 1:37:50the project is
- 1:37:52anything that you want to do. So, think
- 1:37:54about what did you major in college?
- 1:37:57What
- 1:37:59is your favorite hobby?
- 1:38:02What is your current job? What is a job
- 1:38:04that you want to do?
- 1:38:06My personal favorite is what is a job
- 1:38:08that you want to do. That means that
- 1:38:11shows love
- 1:38:13and that shows potential skill that you
- 1:38:14want to build.
- 1:38:16And probably it's going to help you make
- 1:38:18money.
- 1:38:19And it's probably hopefully something
- 1:38:21that's good for society.
- 1:38:23So, if you think along the lines of what
- 1:38:25is the next job that you want
- 1:38:27and you build something in that world,
- 1:38:30trust me,
- 1:38:31anything that you publish to the best of
- 1:38:33your ability in 1 week is going to be
- 1:38:36something that's going to make you stand
- 1:38:38apart
- 1:38:39from
- 1:38:40other applicants.
- 1:38:42Um and it's also going to let you know
- 1:38:44how much you love it and if you love it.
- 1:38:48I hope this helped answer the question.
- 1:38:49If it does for someone, if it did help,
- 1:38:51please leave a heart.
- 1:38:56And thumb up is good, too.
- 1:39:00I got a few questions in terms of
- 1:39:01certificates. The certificates are
- 1:39:03offered at the end of the hackathon.
- 1:39:06Um there's going to be a certificate for
- 1:39:09everyone who attended. So, either it's
- 1:39:11going to be attendance
- 1:39:13it's going to be attendance.
- 1:39:15Or there's going to be
- 1:39:17of completion.
- 1:39:19Completion is going to have the
- 1:39:20portfolio.
- 1:39:22It's going to have a circle in there
- 1:39:24with a PDF with a video of what you
- 1:39:26built.
- 1:39:27So, that when someone so that you can
- 1:39:29share it, someone can click it and they
- 1:39:31see what you built with that
- 1:39:32certificate. And that to me is worth so
- 1:39:35much more than any paper certificate.
- 1:39:36I've went to Virginia Tech.
- 1:39:38I don't use my diploma.
- 1:39:41But
- 1:39:43we can build apps and we're showing it
- 1:39:46and that makes the whole difference.
- 1:39:51If you missed day one, it's okay. Day
- 1:39:53one is just a Guinness World Record Day.
- 1:39:55So, it's the only thing that
- 1:39:57that is that piece. But, besides that,
- 1:39:59you'll still get your certificate and
- 1:40:01you can still invite friends if you
- 1:40:03think they're going to enjoy the stuff
- 1:40:04in multimedia for day three
- 1:40:06um and presentations on day three where
- 1:40:08we're going to go much deeper into it.
- 1:40:17So thankful for everyone who's answering
- 1:40:19the questions.
- 1:40:23And it's a good to
- 1:40:26the cousin Kashi to uh box everything,
- 1:40:30compartmentalize everything of what
- 1:40:32you've learned. The next session is not
- 1:40:35going to be easy
- 1:40:37because you have all types of levels
- 1:40:39of people coming into this training,
- 1:40:42this AI training hackathon.
- 1:40:44There we started it with the absolute
- 1:40:46beginner,
- 1:40:47which is what we're doing with what we
- 1:40:48did with Replit. Absolute beginner on
- 1:40:51the go-to-market, which is Notebook LM.
- 1:40:53And these are foundations. Even if
- 1:40:56you're an advanced person, it helps.
- 1:41:00But, there are also people who have the
- 1:41:03paid subscription of Claude, but they
- 1:41:04haven't used it or not used it. Like,
- 1:41:07they use it, but they're they haven't
- 1:41:08used the full functionality of Claude.
- 1:41:11There are some of you who always hear
- 1:41:12about who is that Claude
- 1:41:15that everyone is talking about and what
- 1:41:16does he do?
- 1:41:18So, we're going to learn that today.
- 1:41:20So, you don't have to buy the
- 1:41:21subscription.
- 1:41:23Um we don't advise anyone in any way. Of
- 1:41:27course, I personally think that for 20
- 1:41:28bucks, it's my it's what I do. It's
- 1:41:31worth it.
- 1:41:32But, for many people, it's not.
- 1:41:34How many subscriptions do you want? So,
- 1:41:35now we're going to give you a sample of
- 1:41:37all the different tools in the latest
- 1:41:38apps.
- 1:41:39You choose what you want to do.
- 1:41:41If you find commercial value, someone I
- 1:41:43I spoke to yesterday about their
- 1:41:44project. If she finds commercial value,
- 1:41:46she said she's going to upgrade and get
- 1:41:48the the Replit token. Eh, perfect. This
- 1:41:51is a great way to think of it. But at
- 1:41:53least
- 1:41:54um I want to make sure that everyone has
- 1:41:56a confidence that you can see the apps,
- 1:41:58the latest apps in AI, get comfortable
- 1:42:01enough and see it live rather than learn
- 1:42:03about it in theory.
- 1:42:05And uh whether you subscribe or not,
- 1:42:08it's entirely anyone's choice.
- 1:42:14Everyone we sent the video today, we put
- 1:42:16it in the Q&A. We're putting it in the
- 1:42:19uh WhatsApp channel
- 1:42:22and the Telegram community.
- 1:42:24And you saw it on kens.com/hack,
- 1:42:27and then you can get day one video, and
- 1:42:29you're going to get day two video, and
- 1:42:30then you're going to get day three
- 1:42:31videos, so on and so forth.
- 1:42:37I love this thing, that question that
- 1:42:39just popped up. Should we integrate
- 1:42:40everything that we learned in one
- 1:42:41project? I have an intern with me. His
- 1:42:44name is Kian, who's also my nephew.
- 1:42:46And my final year project for him is to
- 1:42:48integrate everything into one.
- 1:42:50Because
- 1:42:52it doesn't matter what you build. If you
- 1:42:53can integrate all of these things,
- 1:42:55you're a bazooka in AI.
- 1:42:57I mean it. In one week, you would go
- 1:42:59from
- 1:43:01uh 50th percentile like everyone else,
- 1:43:03but as long as you can integrate
- 1:43:05Replit. You don't have to integrate, but
- 1:43:07at least from Replit, take information,
- 1:43:09put it into Notebook LM. With Notebook
- 1:43:11LM, if you want to use Claude code,
- 1:43:14you'll see what you can do with Claude
- 1:43:15code, and you're going to do it today,
- 1:43:17or at least you're going to see it.
- 1:43:18Tomorrow, you're going to create videos
- 1:43:20and pictures and world-class
- 1:43:22presentations, which you can feed back
- 1:43:24into Notebook LM.
- 1:43:27And then the day after, you're going to
- 1:43:28create at some point there's songs, and
- 1:43:31at some point there's uh
- 1:43:33I forgot what it's like a really packed
- 1:43:35agenda. Oh, automation and it end
- 1:43:38which is really powerful. It's another
- 1:43:39tough session, but it's really cool.
- 1:43:42And yesterday I said we may not have the
- 1:43:44uh the safety in AI, how to protect your
- 1:43:46data. We might bring that session back
- 1:43:48actually.
- 1:43:52Uh with a super notorious professor who
- 1:43:54was hard to get a hold of because he's
- 1:43:56so busy in the US, but he came back with
- 1:43:58his with his with his work today. And
- 1:44:00so, we're just going to evaluate and
- 1:44:01test and dry run and rehearse and
- 1:44:03hopefully deliver something of quality.
- 1:44:05We'll do our best not to waste anyone's
- 1:44:07time and only have things up that are at
- 1:44:09least uh
- 1:44:10cool, I learned something today, and our
- 1:44:13aim is that was awesome.
- 1:44:19All right. Now, we're going to pass it
- 1:44:21over to Nicola. Thank you everyone for
- 1:44:24We're going to end the poll.
- 1:44:25It's been open for 9 minutes. We got
- 1:44:273,600 answers. That's thank you.
- 1:44:31Um and then we'll we'll we'll we'll
- 1:44:32share more again. So, in case you were
- 1:44:34in the middle of an
- 1:44:35answering, I'm so sorry.
- 1:44:40I'm going to try to because some people
- 1:44:42might be like
- 1:44:44ooh, Claude
- 1:44:46amazing, best paid, and it's hard, and
- 1:44:50Nicola simplifies it as much as humanly
- 1:44:52possible.
- 1:44:55But just so that I can get everybody to
- 1:44:57go like uh gaga.
- 1:45:00I'm going to show you just one Take 1
- 1:45:02minute to show you one project that we
- 1:45:03built using Claude Code and Claude
- 1:45:05Co-work
- 1:45:07that is relevant to all of you.
- 1:45:10Something that you'll be able to build.
- 1:45:12It's takes time. We try to see if you
- 1:45:14can fit it in an in an in an hour and a
- 1:45:15half and possible.
- 1:45:17The most important thing is to get the
- 1:45:18basic understanding of how it works, and
- 1:45:21you're going to have to download it and
- 1:45:22blah blah blah.
- 1:45:23But
- 1:45:25um I'm going to ask everyone here,
- 1:45:27please leave a a reaction of a
- 1:45:31clap
- 1:45:33for anyone who
- 1:45:35um
- 1:45:36maybe I should say clap after the I I
- 1:45:40ask my question. Anyone who wants to
- 1:45:43sell something
- 1:45:45to
- 1:45:46to sell your bakery
- 1:45:48to sell your baked goods.
- 1:45:52I want to see claps. Okay.
- 1:45:54So,
- 1:45:55we have Kansas, and of course Kansas
- 1:45:56trying to grow and commercialize.
- 1:45:59And so, we thought about reaching out to
- 1:46:01the top business people, top CEOs and
- 1:46:04CFOs and CROs at the top companies here
- 1:46:07in Saudi Arabia.
- 1:46:09We used a tool, we got the list of 1,500
- 1:46:12people. We sent them all emails.
- 1:46:1460% opened, zero clicks.
- 1:46:18This told us
- 1:46:20that we're going to be burning our brand
- 1:46:22if you continue doing this, sending cold
- 1:46:25outreach emails that people are looking
- 1:46:27at them like, "Shoo, hold."
- 1:46:31Three times, you're out.
- 1:46:32So,
- 1:46:34uh my colleague, who had never used
- 1:46:37AI
- 1:46:38or at least certainly not Cloud Code
- 1:46:41was tasked to learn Cloud Code
- 1:46:44and with it
- 1:46:46build a tool
- 1:46:48that will allow
- 1:46:50him to take my personal contacts
- 1:46:53download them
- 1:46:54everybody on my phone
- 1:46:56download them
- 1:46:59open Cloud Co-Work
- 1:47:01open LinkedIn of these 1,500 people at
- 1:47:04these top companies
- 1:47:06and see if we have mutual connections
- 1:47:10between not just all, but filter the
- 1:47:12mutual connections between who's on my
- 1:47:13phone
- 1:47:15and who's
- 1:47:16uh
- 1:47:17I'm trying to talk to
- 1:47:18in order to not send a cold outreach
- 1:47:21email, but instead send a
- 1:47:26an common introduction to someone that
- 1:47:28you know.
- 1:47:37And this is what Bilal has built.
- 1:47:40It's a tool that will tell me, you want
- 1:47:42to talk to the chief CFO of EVIQ, call
- 1:47:45Khalid Al-Husseini. And this is the
- 1:47:47message. You want to talk to the CEO CEO
- 1:47:49of a doctor company,
- 1:47:51call Muhammad Al-Omran. So on and so
- 1:47:53forth.
- 1:47:54I'm going to pause share here
- 1:47:57to let you realize that you're using a
- 1:48:00tool that goes beyond Replit.
- 1:48:03It goes beyond lovable.
- 1:48:05And if you go into the very first thing
- 1:48:08that we talked about, one is the
- 1:48:10interface builder,
- 1:48:12then we looked at what you can do in
- 1:48:14terms of multimedia,
- 1:48:15then you're looking at the best of the
- 1:48:18best, which is Claude
- 1:48:20Claude today.
- 1:48:22In our op- it's an opinion,
- 1:48:24but it has tools, a suite of tools, that
- 1:48:28can open the internet,
- 1:48:32to- manage things in your files,
- 1:48:35connect things with a level of
- 1:48:38intelligence that we had not thought
- 1:48:39that we could use before, that was
- 1:48:41nearly impossible. We'd need a lot of
- 1:48:43developers. And this was used and built
- 1:48:45in 2 weeks
- 1:48:46by Bilal
- 1:48:49with no experience in it. So, this is a
- 1:48:52bit on the tougher side for anyone who's
- 1:48:54new, do not be intimidated. This is
- 1:48:56going to be maybe a repetition for some
- 1:48:58of you who are advanced, but you're
- 1:48:59going to learn a bit. So, bear with us.
- 1:49:02It's an important session, and I'm super
- 1:49:04happy to introduce you to
- 1:49:07our next speaker,
- 1:49:09uh Nicolas Saoud.
- 1:49:11And somehow,
- 1:49:13there we go.
- 1:49:15Um
- 1:49:16who's going to walk us through
- 1:49:19Claude. Actually, I don't even need to
- 1:49:20share my slides because Nico will will
- 1:49:23just do that and take us through.
- 1:49:25Um one thing that you're going to I want
- 1:49:28to tell you about Nico
- 1:49:29is
- 1:49:31um
- 1:49:32he won't say that about himself.
- 1:49:35But
- 1:49:36when we met for almost 20 years now,
- 1:49:38we're close best brothers.
- 1:49:40Uh he's not just built 3D animations
- 1:49:43where you could see skeletons of people
- 1:49:45before AI, before ML. He built a company
- 1:49:48with augmented reality, a company in
- 1:49:51virtual reality.
- 1:49:53A company that's done holograms.
- 1:49:55And now he is an AI consultant. And when
- 1:49:58I say AI consultant
- 1:50:00basically, he works with companies, gets
- 1:50:03them as clients, and offers them
- 1:50:05consultation on automating their work,
- 1:50:08on taking advantage of AI.
- 1:50:11Uh we're lucky to have you, Nico.
- 1:50:13Everybody, if you could please uh give a
- 1:50:16nice, let's say, round of applause,
- 1:50:18heart, uh thumb up, or whatever you
- 1:50:20want, tada, anything you want to welcome
- 1:50:22Nico. Over to you, Nico.
- 1:50:28>> Thank you very much, Roy. A very good
- 1:50:30introduction.
- 1:50:32And thank you, Lumna, for your uh
- 1:50:35session on uh
- 1:50:37Notebook LM. It's something that I've
- 1:50:39been using in
- 1:50:41for
- 1:50:41uh I have used it in the line, and then
- 1:50:44now I'm planning to use it again, so
- 1:50:47interesting how much it's changed.
- 1:50:50But yeah, now I'm fully into Claude, to
- 1:50:54be honest. I and like Roy said, like
- 1:50:57it does so many things. It can be a bit
- 1:50:59overwhelming.
- 1:51:01But now it's the only interface I have
- 1:51:04in front of my screen most of the day.
- 1:51:08Uh you can have your own agents doing
- 1:51:10stuff for you within it. You can uh
- 1:51:12build stuff. You can chat with AI like
- 1:51:15any other
- 1:51:17chatting platform. So,
- 1:51:20I will walk you a bit. While we're going
- 1:51:23through the session, I'm going to as
- 1:51:25well build something very simple. It's
- 1:51:27going to be a habit tracker
- 1:51:29that we're going to build. Just a
- 1:51:31front-end application, but it will give
- 1:51:34you a taste of
- 1:51:36all the tools that we currently have in
- 1:51:38the in the application.
- 1:51:43So,
- 1:51:45just to share my screen on
- 1:51:48which slide that I have just to show
- 1:51:51you.
- 1:51:59>> Oh, also, the application that we're
- 1:52:01going to be using today is going to be a
- 1:52:03habit tracking app.
- 1:52:05So, today you're going to build a habit
- 1:52:07tracking app. And if you noticed, you
- 1:52:09may have in the email that we sent
- 1:52:10yesterday,
- 1:52:12there were two links to say download
- 1:52:14Cloud Code, download Chrome ex- the
- 1:52:16Cloud Chrome extension.
- 1:52:18If you did, that's going to help you a
- 1:52:20lot. If you didn't, it's okay. We're
- 1:52:22going to go through everything from
- 1:52:23scratch. But, welcome to the world of
- 1:52:25Cloud.
- 1:52:28>> So, thank you, Rob. So, Cloud is has so
- 1:52:32many functionalities, so many tools
- 1:52:34within it. It can go from chat,
- 1:52:37from the Cloud Design, which is fairly
- 1:52:39new, projects, you have the connectors,
- 1:52:42co-work, Cloud Code, skills, artifacts,
- 1:52:45and you can customize many things within
- 1:52:47it.
- 1:52:48And you have the product
- 1:52:50extension, the Chrome extension, as
- 1:52:52well.
- 1:52:54So, I'm going to shrink things a bit
- 1:52:56just to build a product, and we're going
- 1:52:58to just focus on the chat, co-work,
- 1:53:00code, and Cloud in Chrome.
- 1:53:03But, I'm going to talk more about what
- 1:53:06you can do in in each while Claude is
- 1:53:09thinking or building.
- 1:53:13So,
- 1:53:27So, can you see my screen? So, now here
- 1:53:29that's a bit what we're going to be
- 1:53:30building today. It's a habit tracking
- 1:53:33application where you can add
- 1:53:37a new habit. So,
- 1:53:40say hi today.
- 1:53:50And it will add the the habit for you
- 1:53:54and then every day you can
- 1:53:56mark it that you said hi and today it's
- 1:53:58Tuesday Thursday
- 1:54:01Yeah, and you can actually add it.
- 1:54:05And then you can switch from Arabic to
- 1:54:06English.
- 1:54:08And that's a bit what we're going to do
- 1:54:10today.
- 1:54:11To walk you through Claude.
- 1:54:14So, Claude you have two tabs. Those are
- 1:54:17Those are the two main tabs within
- 1:54:19Claude. You have the home
- 1:54:21which consists of chat and code. Before
- 1:54:25we had three tabs, that's new that they
- 1:54:27changed it. It was chat, code work, and
- 1:54:29code. Now you have home and code. And
- 1:54:32within home you have chat and code.
- 1:54:37Inside of home you have the projects.
- 1:54:40Projects can be a very high level
- 1:54:44uh
- 1:54:45idea or
- 1:54:46agent that you want to create.
- 1:54:49And then you will give instruction to
- 1:54:51that agent.
- 1:54:54Um for some of mine, just a second, I'm
- 1:54:57going to have my own agent where you can
- 1:54:59have instruction, you will the
- 1:55:02you can add files, and each chat should
- 1:55:06be something consistent. So, for
- 1:55:08example, you will create an an
- 1:55:10accountant. Okay? The accountant does
- 1:55:13many things on a day-to-day.
- 1:55:16Each chat Each chat is a task.
- 1:55:19And it's one thing that they do every
- 1:55:22day.
- 1:55:23Okay? So, you can just create a new
- 1:55:26uh chat here based on I want all my
- 1:55:29financial for today or get all my
- 1:55:32expenses from my emails today, and it
- 1:55:35will get them for you based on the
- 1:55:37connectors that we have.
- 1:55:39I will jump into that just in a bit.
- 1:55:43You have the schedulers. So, those are
- 1:55:45the schedulers where you're going to be
- 1:55:47able to
- 1:55:49as well create an agent to say, "Every
- 1:55:50morning, go to my calendar
- 1:55:53and check for my meetings or step Look
- 1:55:57at my emails and schedule a a meeting in
- 1:55:59my calendar." You can file
- 1:56:01You can organize your files on your
- 1:56:03calendar.
- 1:56:05Uh one of the ones I have is the A10
- 1:56:08documentation.
- 1:56:09Every Monday, it will go in my Chrome
- 1:56:11extension, open an A10 documentation,
- 1:56:14skim through to see if there is anything
- 1:56:16new, and add it.
- 1:56:18So, as well, it's the same process.
- 1:56:21Those are the schedulers that you have,
- 1:56:23and you can run them manually or
- 1:56:25automatically.
- 1:56:30Now, I want everyone I don't know if uh
- 1:56:33how many of you have Co-work, like the
- 1:56:35paid version of Flow. I would like a
- 1:56:37thumbs up if you have Co-work uh
- 1:56:41installed or
- 1:56:43you have the free version, you can go
- 1:56:45with the o-
- 1:56:48>> Wow. That's a lot of muscle there in
- 1:56:51Flow Co-work account.
- 1:56:54Super cool.
- 1:56:55>> It's amazing.
- 1:56:56>> Maybe one more question if you have an
- 1:56:58application to Claude work.
- 1:57:00>> So if you have Claude work and you have
- 1:57:02built something that is functional
- 1:57:05uh instead of the thumb up, go to the
- 1:57:07tada.
- 1:57:11Cuz I'm trying to see we have so many
- 1:57:13thumbs up.
- 1:57:15And we have
- 1:57:19we have tadas.
- 1:57:2210 15%.
- 1:57:25Good. Excellent. So whoever has a thumb
- 1:57:27up but no tada, this is a
- 1:57:30an excellent opportunity to be able to
- 1:57:33take advantage of
- 1:57:34uh your subscription.
- 1:57:36And whoever doesn't have a thumb up,
- 1:57:38it's for you to get to see what this
- 1:57:40tada can do because uh Claude can Claude
- 1:57:42work can do not the tada. Because uh
- 1:57:45it's different than many of the other
- 1:57:46things. It's very different and so now
- 1:57:49you get to see a new side of AI that we
- 1:57:52haven't explored yet.
- 1:57:57>> So one more thing that we usually have I
- 1:58:00want to go through this one quickly cuz
- 1:58:02we have a bit less than an hour with uh
- 1:58:07the prayer time.
- 1:58:08>> Nico, if you need a bit more time we can
- 1:58:10take a bit more time. And whenever
- 1:58:12people need to hop off they'll hop off.
- 1:58:13It's okay.
- 1:58:14>> For those who
- 1:58:15>> Absolutely. Don't worry.
- 1:58:18>> So what we do have still are the skills,
- 1:58:20the connectors, and the plugins. Those
- 1:58:23are quite important. Skills are
- 1:58:26um
- 1:58:27different skills that you can actually
- 1:58:29give to Claude. For example, you can
- 1:58:32teach him how to write uh specs for
- 1:58:36example or write a specific PDF or
- 1:58:40uh PowerPoint that you usually do in a
- 1:58:42company. Exactly the way you want to
- 1:58:45write it with the templates and
- 1:58:46everything. That's a skill that you can
- 1:58:49run within Claude and every time you
- 1:58:51want to create that PowerPoint
- 1:58:53presentation, it will create it exactly
- 1:58:55for you with exactly the same uh
- 1:58:58tone of voice as your previous ones.
- 1:59:01You can have connectors. So, for
- 1:59:03example, I have all those connectors
- 1:59:05installed
- 1:59:07from Notion, I have Cronulla, Google
- 1:59:09Drive, Calendar, Gmail, and you can call
- 1:59:12any of those application from flow
- 1:59:15directly.
- 1:59:19And you have actually the plugins, one
- 1:59:21thing that I missed. So, you have the
- 1:59:24product management, for example, plugin.
- 1:59:27Inside of it, you have all the skills
- 1:59:30that are those are already given by
- 1:59:33flow. And you can create your own, I'll
- 1:59:35show you how in a bit.
- 1:59:38Everything how flow work in general,
- 1:59:41there are two files within the system
- 1:59:44uh of flow. It's the flow.md file and
- 1:59:47the flow uh the skill.md
- 1:59:51The flow.md
- 1:59:53file, you can generate it directly from
- 1:59:55the chat in here. Just
- 1:59:57ask it generate your flow.md file, and
- 2:00:00you will be able to see it. And you can
- 2:00:03modify it to work the way you want.
- 2:00:06For now, I'm going to kick off and start
- 2:00:10with the first prompt for to to start
- 2:00:12building the app together.
- 2:00:14So, I'm going to put this in the chat.
- 2:00:21So, the way I'm doing it is as a product
- 2:00:24manager, it's something that you can or
- 2:00:26cannot put anymore this sentence, but I
- 2:00:29usually like to put it.
- 2:00:31It's the write a product brief on an
- 2:00:33idea that I have, which I want to build
- 2:00:36a habit tracker, which is going to be
- 2:00:38called Momentum.
- 2:00:40And I want it to be English and Arabic.
- 2:00:43I give a bit of persona to know who's
- 2:00:45going to be using that application
- 2:00:48and when it's going to be using it. So,
- 2:00:50I want something really quick, really
- 2:00:52simple that I can do before going to
- 2:00:53sleep and and
- 2:00:56like to to log it in.
- 2:00:59>> Now, we start the actual workshop.
- 2:01:01Are we starting the full workshop so
- 2:01:03should I also put the
- 2:01:04the chat the the note inside the the
- 2:01:07chat?
- 2:01:11>> Yes.
- 2:01:12>> Okay, Jill. So, everyone, this was an
- 2:01:14overview of of of Claude, but obviously
- 2:01:17overviews are cool. That's why we just
- 2:01:18wanted to not give it more than three,
- 2:01:20four minutes. Let's get to it. The chat,
- 2:01:23everybody has access to it. We're using
- 2:01:25the chat cuz it's the cheapest thing.
- 2:01:27Before we move it over to Claude code
- 2:01:29and co-work that consume more tokens,
- 2:01:32hence they're the the paid product. So,
- 2:01:35I'll start to um
- 2:01:36move um
- 2:01:38the notes inside
- 2:01:40uh what Nico types, I'm going to type as
- 2:01:42well.
- 2:01:45>> I can I will paste it.
- 2:01:47>> Okay, thanks.
- 2:01:48>> So,
- 2:01:51you can paste that prompt inside of the
- 2:01:54chat. So, like Roy said, I always start
- 2:01:57with the chat to brainstorm,
- 2:01:59get some ideas, do some research on the
- 2:02:01internet, speak with AI, try to see how
- 2:02:04far we can go with the build and what we
- 2:02:06what is the right build
- 2:02:08for us. And to generate a um
- 2:02:12a brief that I can send to co-work.
- 2:02:15So, that's going to be the first part.
- 2:02:18I start with chat. Once I click send,
- 2:02:21I'm going it's going to go and start
- 2:02:23thinking and give me a brief.
- 2:02:26Okay, I put like some constraints here
- 2:02:29where I don't want any questions, I
- 2:02:32don't want a back end, I don't want it's
- 2:02:34going to be purely simple front end
- 2:02:36application.
- 2:02:38So,
- 2:02:39it generates quickly the brief for me
- 2:02:41and then the application is going to be
- 2:02:44really easy to build.
- 2:02:46But you can go very much into detail
- 2:02:49with that conversation. If you want a
- 2:02:52back end, if you want a payment, it will
- 2:02:54take all of that into account.
- 2:02:56What's really important is the model.
- 2:02:59Okay, you can start by
- 2:03:02like Opus is really good for coding or
- 2:03:06for hard tasks as well as Fable that
- 2:03:09that latest model. But you can start
- 2:03:11with Sonnet. It's cheaper. It's really
- 2:03:13good.
- 2:03:15Uh I had this on on Opus from the start.
- 2:03:18You can start on this and be able to
- 2:03:21to have your conversation with Sonnets.
- 2:03:24Expensive stuff and more complex, you
- 2:03:27can use Opus or Fable.
- 2:03:30>> So everyone, can you once you've pasted
- 2:03:33this
- 2:03:34prompt,
- 2:03:35uh please leave a thumb up.
- 2:03:40And if you've gotten the result,
- 2:03:42please leave a tada.
- 2:03:46I would assume no one is has gotten to
- 2:03:48the tada yet. Oh, but we have some
- 2:03:50tadas.
- 2:03:51Okay, perfect.
- 2:03:54Oh, we're seeing some oohs. So for the
- 2:03:56oohs, we're going to get many oohs in
- 2:03:57this session.
- 2:03:59I'm saying it from now
- 2:04:00um
- 2:04:01because it's the it's the toughest
- 2:04:03session that we have in the entire week.
- 2:04:05That and then and um but
- 2:04:09um we're going step by step. We're going
- 2:04:11to look at the Q&A uh and um
- 2:04:15once you have your response, please show
- 2:04:16the tadas.
- 2:04:21That's the tada.
- 2:04:30And it's okay also to have some moments
- 2:04:32of silence. We've been we've been
- 2:04:34tackling things for 2 hours and 10
- 2:04:36minutes. So I think everyone is like,
- 2:04:39"Okay, let's take it easy."
- 2:04:41Through three, four, five instructions.
- 2:04:46And we'll call it a night.
- 2:04:48We're going to try to do it that way.
- 2:04:49We're going to try to do every session
- 2:04:51like that. So, even if you have a bit of
- 2:04:53uh hiccup, a lot of
- 2:04:54silence, everybody's tired.
- 2:04:58Very few of us have gone to the
- 2:04:59bathroom. I'm still thinking about the
- 2:05:01wood washer.
- 2:05:06>> So, can we continue?
- 2:05:09>> Yeah.
- 2:05:10>> Uh
- 2:05:12So, now I send the the the the message
- 2:05:14that's like any message you can do with
- 2:05:17ChatGPT or any other LLM. Very simple,
- 2:05:20straightforward.
- 2:05:21And it generated for me a brief that can
- 2:05:24be after a long conversation.
- 2:05:26Okay. So, now I'm going to go and I'm
- 2:05:29going to create a new session.
- 2:05:33And I want to pause 1 second here and
- 2:05:36ask you to create a new folder on your
- 2:05:39desktop called workshop, for example.
- 2:05:43Very simple
- 2:05:44folder in your workshop. Because code
- 2:05:46work
- 2:05:48and code
- 2:05:49actually changes things in your
- 2:05:51computer.
- 2:05:52It has access to your device.
- 2:05:54>> Just create the instructions. Just
- 2:05:56create the folder.
- 2:05:57>> For everyone who's created the folder
- 2:06:00called What is it called?
- 2:06:02Workshop?
- 2:06:03>> Workshop.
- 2:06:04>> Okay. So, everyone who's created the
- 2:06:06folder called workshop,
- 2:06:08please leave a
- 2:06:16Our last minute icon.
- 2:06:18Okay, a lot of hahas. Okay, cool. Let's
- 2:06:21wait for the screen to just add the
- 2:06:22hahas.
- 2:06:23Okay, cool. We're good. Let's keep
- 2:06:25going.
- 2:06:27>> And then you can go and choose your
- 2:06:30folder from here. Project or folder, you
- 2:06:33go to the desktop, choose or wherever
- 2:06:37you can actually create it and select
- 2:06:40this folder.
- 2:06:42So, now everything for
- 2:06:45for co-work
- 2:06:47and code after we're going to point it
- 2:06:49at the same folder is in this folder.
- 2:06:53>> Mhm.
- 2:06:55>> So, next I'm going to
- 2:06:58j-
- 2:06:59paste the prompt
- 2:07:03where it actually
- 2:07:05my the the brief is inside of it. Okay,
- 2:07:09but I gave some more context around what
- 2:07:13I want. You'll be able to read it in the
- 2:07:15chat, so I'm pasting it here. You see if
- 2:07:17I paste it everything.
- 2:07:19Yeah.
- 2:07:28So, it's just one sentence that I didn't
- 2:07:30go through but just wanted to paste here
- 2:07:32because it's one of the most important
- 2:07:33one.
- 2:07:34So,
- 2:07:36okay. Paste all of that inside of the
- 2:07:38chat
- 2:07:40and send it through. So, if I'm going to
- 2:07:42tell you a bit what's
- 2:07:44uh inside,
- 2:07:48I'm just as well giving context. So,
- 2:07:51that's the the product brief.
- 2:07:55And then I wanted to save it
- 2:07:58uh
- 2:07:59inside the the the folder. So, this
- 2:08:02folder because we pointed it into this
- 2:08:04folder and I wanted to call it I want
- 2:08:06the AI to call my file momentum
- 2:08:10stack.md.
- 2:08:13So, just to show once it's going to
- 2:08:16>> Let's go one one tad just slower for in
- 2:08:18case anyone is not with us cuz I'm
- 2:08:20seeing Os.
- 2:08:22Let's go a bit slower.
- 2:08:23And then maybe repeat these
- 2:08:24instructions. If If people want us to go
- 2:08:27step-by-step and repeat the
- 2:08:29instructions, please leave a heart.
- 2:08:35Okay. The point is to be able to connect
- 2:08:39your computer, a folder on your
- 2:08:41computer,
- 2:08:42with Cloud CoWork. And that's the base.
- 2:08:46So, let's make sure everybody gets it,
- 2:08:47so that
- 2:08:49um we have that connection, so that we
- 2:08:51can continue. And once you have that set
- 2:08:53up,
- 2:08:54that's half the battle.
- 2:08:59>> So, for those when you go to um the home
- 2:09:03and a new session,
- 2:09:04did you point your
- 2:09:06We We know that you already pointed to
- 2:09:08the folder workshop, right? Or you just
- 2:09:10created the folder and you didn't point
- 2:09:12out.
- 2:09:15>> So, if anyone created a folder already,
- 2:09:18um
- 2:09:19Where Where is the folder? Let's Let's
- 2:09:20show the folder again.
- 2:09:24>> So, you go You click on
- 2:09:26the button um
- 2:09:28button just under the chat.
- 2:09:30>> So, first just make sure that you're in
- 2:09:31CoWork.
- 2:09:35Uh here, if you see CoWork,
- 2:09:37uh leave a thumb up.
- 2:09:44Let's just make sure that we have Okay,
- 2:09:46we have 50/50.
- 2:09:48So, that's what it is. Let's take one
- 2:09:49step back.
- 2:09:50More.
- 2:09:52Okay. So, let's make sure that we fix
- 2:09:54this. CoWork should appear. What should
- 2:09:56they do for CoWork to appear here?
- 2:10:00>> If If they have the paid version, CoWork
- 2:10:03will be there.
- 2:10:04If it's not the paid version,
- 2:10:07it's
- 2:10:07CoWork is not part of the free version.
- 2:10:09>> Uh I'm going to share my screen real
- 2:10:11quick and we'll show you both versions
- 2:10:13just to make sure that we're we're all
- 2:10:14on the same page.
- 2:10:16Um
- 2:10:17share screen, and I'll I'll send it
- 2:10:19right back to you, Nico.
- 2:10:22So, this is here a fresh new instance.
- 2:10:27And I have chat
- 2:10:29co-work.
- 2:10:32Now, this is the application of Cloud.
- 2:10:35So, there's a difference between Cloud
- 2:10:37on the browser.
- 2:10:39Here's Cloud.
- 2:10:42It said open in desktop app. So, I have
- 2:10:45a new chat.
- 2:10:47I don't see co-work.
- 2:10:49And I think that some of the ohs are
- 2:10:50because you don't see co-work and you're
- 2:10:52like, "Where is co-work?"
- 2:10:54If that's the case, please leave a thumb
- 2:10:57up.
- 2:11:02Yeah, that's what it is. Perfect.
- 2:11:04This is where we go from free to the
- 2:11:06paid.
- 2:11:08In the free version, you're going to
- 2:11:09find co-work here under products. Cloud,
- 2:11:12code, co-work, design. These are the
- 2:11:15bazooka features of Cloud.
- 2:11:17These here are available in free.
- 2:11:20Nico gave an overview of these.
- 2:11:24But if you want to get to co-work,
- 2:11:27you need to open it in desktop app.
- 2:11:29When I click on open desktop, it opens
- 2:11:31this. To get this,
- 2:11:34you have to go to Cloud
- 2:11:37uh uh
- 2:11:39download Cloud.
- 2:11:45Download Cloud by Anthropic.
- 2:11:53>> I'm sharing the link in the chat for
- 2:11:55those wants to download it.
- 2:11:57>> Yeah, perfect. So, for anyone who wants
- 2:11:59to download it, please take a look at
- 2:12:00the link in the chat
- 2:12:02and download it. And that's going to
- 2:12:04take a minute or so. So, download for
- 2:12:06Mac OS.
- 2:12:08I already have it downloaded, but I'm
- 2:12:10going to download it one more time.
- 2:12:15And then open and install.
- 2:12:22>> So, for it to have access to your
- 2:12:23computer, it must be a desktop
- 2:12:25application. It cannot be on the
- 2:12:27browser.
- 2:12:29So, that's why we we need to download
- 2:12:31the desktop application, so it has
- 2:12:33access to your computer.
- 2:12:35>> So, if this is different this here, this
- 2:12:37desktop application
- 2:12:40is different than the than the web
- 2:12:42application.
- 2:12:45And when you open and install the
- 2:12:46desktop Everyone please take a moment to
- 2:12:49open and install the desktop
- 2:12:51application. And if you while you do
- 2:12:53this, we're going to continue because we
- 2:12:55do have a prayer break, I believe at
- 2:12:588:30, right?
- 2:13:00Or 8:00?
- 2:13:058:40. So, then in case someone is has
- 2:13:08not downloaded it, will will be able to
- 2:13:10download it during that time, but it is
- 2:13:12the paid subscription. But, I just
- 2:13:14wanted to make sure that the Os can turn
- 2:13:15into thumbs up just at least to follow
- 2:13:18up to to stay to stay connected and know
- 2:13:21that it's we're progressing. So,
- 2:13:23downloading Cloud is step one.
- 2:13:27And then let's go to Co-work, which is
- 2:13:29here.
- 2:13:30And then we can see Nikola
- 2:13:33create
- 2:13:34a
- 2:13:35folder
- 2:13:37Yianni
- 2:13:38within desktop
- 2:13:40a folder that you want to call I think
- 2:13:42it's we said workshop.
- 2:13:46And then connect that, so that
- 2:13:47everything that is inside workshop is
- 2:13:49accessed
- 2:13:51is accessed by Cloud Co-work.
- 2:13:56Um I think that's it, Nikola, right?
- 2:14:03>> Yeah, and then you have to point the the
- 2:14:05folder, so by clicking on project
- 2:14:10under under Co-work, there's project or
- 2:14:13folder.
- 2:14:17And you, yeah, choose a different folder
- 2:14:19where you hit the button.
- 2:14:26>> And then open.
- 2:14:28>> We're still seeing a lot of O's.
- 2:14:32>> Yeah, and we're we're we're getting
- 2:14:34there. How do we try to understand?
- 2:14:35Maybe put it in the Q&A.
- 2:14:40I'll see.
- 2:14:45>> If that's the issue,
- 2:14:52>> Excellent. So, by the way,
- 2:14:54um just notice the prayer time is 8:20
- 2:14:57to 8:35.
- 2:14:59So, instead of progressing, for anyone
- 2:15:02who has um to whom it applies to, to go
- 2:15:05for a prayer,
- 2:15:07feel free to go. We're not going to go
- 2:15:09further than this.
- 2:15:11And we're going to take
- 2:15:12um for anyone for whom it doesn't apply
- 2:15:14to,
- 2:15:16then
- 2:15:17we're just going to stay on here and
- 2:15:19make sure that all the O's convert to
- 2:15:22smileys
- 2:15:23and hearts to make sure that the
- 2:15:25connection is there. Cuz once the
- 2:15:26connection is there,
- 2:15:28khallas, you just prompt
- 2:15:30you're just back to prompting.
- 2:15:36And for anyone who
- 2:15:38does break for prayer
- 2:15:40and returns and has uh questions for
- 2:15:42one,
- 2:15:43we'll pause and we'll do it again and we
- 2:15:45can have a session to make those
- 2:15:47connections and we'll have everything
- 2:15:49recorded, so we're going to share this
- 2:15:50tonight with everyone.
- 2:15:53So, let's break for 15 minutes,
- 2:15:56uh have a prayer break while um Nico
- 2:16:01can just
- 2:16:02take a long time to just go step by step
- 2:16:05and
- 2:16:06go into the connection of the folder to
- 2:16:10here, and this is what it looks like
- 2:16:11when it's connected.
- 2:16:13So, now CLO controls
- 2:16:17the workshop
- 2:16:18folder, which is
- 2:16:20in
- 2:16:21my desktop.
- 2:16:23This one right here.
- 2:16:27>> If you don't connect it to a folder,
- 2:16:29it's going to create a folder within the
- 2:16:32directory of CLO is in the system in the
- 2:16:35laptop.
- 2:16:38And you would have to look for it, but
- 2:16:40um
- 2:16:41you can create your own folders.
- 2:16:47>> Okay.
- 2:16:50Um what we could do is maybe spend cuz
- 2:16:53it's it's a short prayer break, it's
- 2:16:54only 15 minutes.
- 2:16:56Um leave in the Q&A only the questions
- 2:17:00for whoever it doesn't apply to.
- 2:17:02Um
- 2:17:04that are related to
- 2:17:06the setup of connect connection of CLO
- 2:17:08to CLO Co-Work.
- 2:17:11Like accessing Co-Work and putting in uh
- 2:17:14folder.
- 2:17:18And we'll open the Q&A and then look for
- 2:17:21the questions and try to answer them.
- 2:17:28Co-Work is only a paid version.
- 2:17:31It's paid, it's paid. We had mentioned
- 2:17:33that actually in the chat. And put it I
- 2:17:35think everywhere.
- 2:17:37Um so,
- 2:17:38if it doesn't apply and you're not
- 2:17:40interested, that's going to be the end
- 2:17:41of
- 2:17:42today's learnings. It could be limited
- 2:17:45limited, it's already amazing to have uh
- 2:17:47a notebook LM, that is the session in
- 2:17:49itself.
- 2:17:51But for those of you who want to see how
- 2:17:53Co-Work works,
- 2:17:56then this is uh a session to watch or or
- 2:18:00do.
- 2:18:01So, I totally expect uh a smaller number
- 2:18:04um in this session because you could do
- 2:18:07everything without co-work
- 2:18:09that to submit a project at the end of
- 2:18:11the week.
- 2:18:13You built your app in the Replit you can
- 2:18:15create the document the strategy
- 2:18:17documents and market them and have the
- 2:18:18visualizations through Notebook LM and
- 2:18:21we've seen that here.
- 2:18:22And this here is to start to create
- 2:18:26a level of remote control where AI is
- 2:18:29controlling parts of your computer and
- 2:18:30parts of your browser
- 2:18:32which opens up a whole new thing.
- 2:18:35Um I'm going to take a look at the
- 2:18:37questions. Wow, there's so many.
- 2:18:39And we'll start to look at it.
- 2:18:46It appears, but it's disabled and shows
- 2:18:48missing HCS server HNS VN compute
- 2:18:53VFP
- 2:18:55ext.
- 2:18:57How to fix this?
- 2:19:01>> Can you say that again or send a
- 2:19:02screenshot?
- 2:19:03>> Um oh yeah, just also mention something.
- 2:19:05Um
- 2:19:06Rita will we all the trainings this week
- 2:19:09are free.
- 2:19:10Uh this is the one session that we
- 2:19:11wanted to put for uh the advanced for
- 2:19:14one level of automation, but everything
- 2:19:16that you're that we're going to be
- 2:19:17teaching is is free. And tomorrow as
- 2:19:20well.
- 2:19:21Uh even for the non-free things we're
- 2:19:22looking to get free credits, but in some
- 2:19:24cases we couldn't get free credits from
- 2:19:27Anthropic and Mahabir Uno when we
- 2:19:29contacted them.
- 2:19:31Um so, it says Nico, it appears
- 2:19:34disabled. It It It appears, but it is
- 2:19:37disabled
- 2:19:38because it shows missing HCS server.
- 2:19:41If anyone else is facing that issue,
- 2:19:43please thump up that question.
- 2:19:47So, we can see if this is only for you
- 2:19:49by some or for for many people.
- 2:19:57There's another one from Ahmed. I have
- 2:19:59the paid version of Claude.
- 2:20:01Claude work is appearing first, but when
- 2:20:02I give it the first prompt in the chat
- 2:20:05and continues and continue to give the
- 2:20:08second to Claude work it disappears.
- 2:20:13Ahmed, this is
- 2:20:14not sure about that to be honest.
- 2:20:24I'm going to try to go
- 2:20:28with the ones that we could, you know,
- 2:20:31I mean,
- 2:20:33you couldn't get a discount code well,
- 2:20:35Ali, we tried
- 2:20:36with Claude.
- 2:20:37We did our best. We contacted them all.
- 2:20:39We contacted 30 people at every at every
- 2:20:41one of these companies until and told
- 2:20:43them what we're doing until they some
- 2:20:45believed us
- 2:20:46and they said, "Okay, okay, let's do
- 2:20:48it." And I told them it's in your
- 2:20:49interest, you get so many new accounts.
- 2:20:52Miss
- 2:20:53Of course, if you can offer
- 2:20:56the one thing that you have in control
- 2:20:56in in our control is offering a free
- 2:20:58training and and and we're doing that.
- 2:21:01And then we can get to choose the topics
- 2:21:03and we're choosing the best free tools,
- 2:21:05but at the same time it's good to know
- 2:21:08what Claude work can do cuz it's
- 2:21:10remarkable.
- 2:21:15Um the missing HCS
- 2:21:17>> Does anyone have VPN on?
- 2:21:20>> Mhm.
- 2:21:21>> [clears throat]
- 2:21:23>> Cuz this can be a problem as well.
- 2:21:38The odds are no VPN on.
- 2:21:50This is for the server issue, I'm uh
- 2:21:52assuming, so
- 2:21:54it could be it could be because of the
- 2:21:56PPA.
- 2:21:57>> And one thing that's probably going to
- 2:21:58happen in this session, then I in my
- 2:22:00mind and my eyes this is going to be
- 2:22:01like the hardest session.
- 2:22:03You could watch how it goes and how it
- 2:22:05controls your desktop.
- 2:22:07Um so that at least you get a good idea
- 2:22:09of it. And those who can follow along,
- 2:22:11I'm expecting maybe like 10% of us will
- 2:22:145% will be able to do that because it
- 2:22:17has to be paid,
- 2:22:18downloaded, and connected. But it's
- 2:22:20really valuable to see how it's cooked
- 2:22:22and how it's done.
- 2:22:25>> I I started with
- 2:22:27Love a bit,
- 2:22:28then I started with Replit,
- 2:22:31and Cursor,
- 2:22:34and then when I saw like
- 2:22:36Cloud in general how how it's working
- 2:22:38and all the things that you can do with
- 2:22:40it, I removed my subscriptions and
- 2:22:43started paying only for for Cloud.
- 2:22:46And now I have even even an extra usage
- 2:22:49as much as I'm using it, but uh
- 2:22:52uh
- 2:22:53it's super helpful for work.
- 2:22:56And like when I'm training employees in
- 2:22:58companies on how to use AI in their
- 2:23:02day-to-day work,
- 2:23:04you will see
- 2:23:05it really upskills you.
- 2:23:08And uh
- 2:23:09optimizes your work a lot.
- 2:23:14So you have you'll have you'll gain a
- 2:23:15lot more time doing more important
- 2:23:17things.
- 2:23:19All the
- 2:23:20basic work, like the manual work that
- 2:23:22you do on a day-to-day basis, all this
- 2:23:25can be automated.
- 2:23:27All your emails, looking at your emails,
- 2:23:30and to see what what are the ones that
- 2:23:32are important.
- 2:23:34Yeah, like
- 2:23:35uh organizing your your folders,
- 2:23:38creating PowerPoints, uh all of that
- 2:23:42is is really now automated. I only
- 2:23:46function on on this interface.
- 2:23:49>> Um I have an answer for people by the
- 2:23:51way who got stuck with the question of
- 2:23:55the HCS service, and that's more than
- 2:23:58one person. So, whenever you get stuck
- 2:24:00on anything, obviously, don't Google the
- 2:24:02answer, Gemini the answer, or ask
- 2:24:04Claude.
- 2:24:05So, this is because you're using a PC.
- 2:24:08Um and what you want to do is enable the
- 2:24:11Windows Virtual Machine Platform.
- 2:24:14So, right-click the start menu and
- 2:24:16select terminal.
- 2:24:20And then paste a command
- 2:24:24which I put in one of the responses.
- 2:24:26I'll put it in the chat, and then
- 2:24:27restart your computer.
- 2:24:29So, you want to open the virtual
- 2:24:30machine,
- 2:24:33paste one command,
- 2:24:35and then
- 2:24:36>> It was in the setup file.
- 2:24:50>> So, this one is
- 2:24:51This is on the [clears throat] technical
- 2:24:52side. Maybe Nico, once once we return
- 2:24:55from from prayer,
- 2:24:57in 5 minutes, you can just give a demo
- 2:24:59step-by-step, and the expectation is not
- 2:25:01necessarily for everyone to build an
- 2:25:02app.
- 2:25:06And um
- 2:25:07>> The problem is going to be connecting to
- 2:25:09the folder and doing work on the
- 2:25:11computer, but I think that that they can
- 2:25:13follow through just by
- 2:25:15uh once once you move to Claude, just
- 2:25:18put the prompt in, and they will see the
- 2:25:21the application being built, anyway.
- 2:25:24>> Okay.
- 2:25:25>> And I can walk you through in detail on
- 2:25:28each section, so you can see how they
- 2:25:30work, and
- 2:26:07>> Before we go into tomorrow's session
- 2:26:09because we're going to have some drop
- 2:26:11offs
- 2:26:12uh because of the technical nature of
- 2:26:14the session
- 2:26:15I want to give you guys an overview of
- 2:26:17tomorrow, what you're going to learn.
- 2:26:31Okay?
- 2:26:37On day three
- 2:26:39we're going to build on brand
- 2:26:41presentations
- 2:26:43with Rama
- 2:26:45and I.
- 2:26:46>> Hi everyone.
- 2:26:48>> So the idea is that
- 2:26:51often times when you ask it to build a
- 2:26:53pitch deck it's going to look like a
- 2:26:54nice pitch deck.
- 2:26:56But every time you ask for a new
- 2:26:57presentation it's going to look
- 2:26:58different.
- 2:27:00And there's no consistency.
- 2:27:02Especially if you work at a consulting
- 2:27:03company, especially if you're used to
- 2:27:05building a lot of presentations.
- 2:27:08And you spend a lot of times there.
- 2:27:11So we're going to use two tools. One of
- 2:27:12them is Clood, but one of the free
- 2:27:14tools, which is Skill.
- 2:27:17With Clood Skill skills, you're going to
- 2:27:20be able to upload your current
- 2:27:21presentation deck and it's super easy.
- 2:27:23This one is zero technical.
- 2:27:26You
- 2:27:27upload your current branding
- 2:27:30into a Skill
- 2:27:32and then you tell it
- 2:27:34build a presentation based on this this
- 2:27:36this this and that, and it's going to
- 2:27:38build a presentation exactly or as close
- 2:27:41as possible to your own brand
- 2:27:43guidelines. Whether you have
- 2:27:46sharp lines or curvy edge or curves,
- 2:27:50whether you have your logo in the top
- 2:27:51left or top right, um
- 2:27:54your fonts, your colors,
- 2:27:57everything. Font sizes.
- 2:28:00And then the other tool is uh What's it
- 2:28:02called? Skywork.
- 2:28:04Skywork is another tool that does
- 2:28:05exactly that.
- 2:28:07And so we're going to put them side by
- 2:28:08side.
- 2:28:09We're going to let them run anyways cuz
- 2:28:11it takes a moment for them to run and
- 2:28:12create a presentation. So it's going to
- 2:28:14be a very simple presentation. It's
- 2:28:16going to be Cloth on one side, Skywork
- 2:28:19on the other. You're going to upload
- 2:28:21your corporate branding and we're going
- 2:28:23to give you an example of one. We're
- 2:28:24going to use the FIFA because we're
- 2:28:26almost at the finals.
- 2:28:28Right? Yeah. That's what we practiced
- 2:28:30on.
- 2:28:31Uh we're going to upload the FIFA
- 2:28:32document and brand guidelines, and
- 2:28:35you're going to create FIFA
- 2:28:36presentations.
- 2:28:39And um and after you do this, then you
- 2:28:41can replace it and create a skill with
- 2:28:43anything you do at your corporation or
- 2:28:46for your startup, for your bakery,
- 2:28:47whatever.
- 2:28:49And then the second part is we're going
- 2:28:50to continue in the FIFA theme.
- 2:28:53We're going to build
- 2:28:55um cinematog- cinematic images and
- 2:28:58videos
- 2:29:00uh of your project to
- 2:29:02uh have a uh World Cup penalty kick or
- 2:29:06free kick
- 2:29:08of uh you know what I'm talking about,
- 2:29:09Argentina versus England.
- 2:29:12Um
- 2:29:13Spain, Argentina versus Spain.
- 2:29:16But the idea is, just like with
- 2:29:18presentations, when you sometimes
- 2:29:19search, like you ask it to build a
- 2:29:21presentation, it doesn't look perfectly
- 2:29:23on brand.
- 2:29:25When you create a video, it looks AI.
- 2:29:28Now we're going to have a professional
- 2:29:29videographer
- 2:29:31who's going to and get free credits from
- 2:29:33Magnific, which is a magnificent.
- 2:29:36Um then we're going to
- 2:29:40create a prompt and this is prompt
- 2:29:42engineering on how to include the role
- 2:29:45of
- 2:29:46every single person in a video shoot.
- 2:29:49Costume, lighting, direction,
- 2:29:52everything. So that you can create
- 2:29:54videos for your business that are
- 2:29:57lifelike
- 2:29:58and pictures, too.
- 2:30:00That's the the topic of tomorrow. It's
- 2:30:02only prompts, nothing technical, super
- 2:30:04easy.
- 2:30:08If If this is clear, everyone please
- 2:30:10leave a heart as we return back from the
- 2:30:13prayer break.
- 2:30:17Okay, cool. Cool. Cool. Cool.
- 2:30:20And so if you have if you're in the
- 2:30:21creative field, you want to
- 2:30:23take your business to the next level cuz
- 2:30:25you use Notebook LM for the strategy
- 2:30:27documents and whatnot.
- 2:30:29And now you can
- 2:30:31take that to the pitch-perfect,
- 2:30:33presentation-perfect, and
- 2:30:35um
- 2:30:36and videos and pictures and things. The
- 2:30:38following day we're going to bring them
- 2:30:39all to life.
- 2:30:41Avatars
- 2:30:42with your accents, with any accent,
- 2:30:45bring it to life, and then we're going
- 2:30:46to go from drawings to videos. So
- 2:30:49there's a lot more to go
- 2:30:51and the registration is still open for
- 2:30:53everyone who's interested
- 2:30:55uh
- 2:30:56to to join in and miss days one and two.
- 2:30:58Ahlan wa sahlan. Sahhten.
- 2:31:01Um
- 2:31:02Now let's go back and do the um complete
- 2:31:06the clo-
- 2:31:07uh co-work because it is an important
- 2:31:09skill and I did not want to shy away
- 2:31:12from the skill, even if it's just to
- 2:31:14watch what it's capable of doing
- 2:31:17um
- 2:31:18over the next uh 30 minutes because we
- 2:31:21can go at a fair pace, but if you can't
- 2:31:24keep up fully, it's okay.
- 2:31:27Uh just feel free to watch and then
- 2:31:29we'll try to end it elegantly.
- 2:31:34With a complete app.
- 2:31:40All right. Now we're back from prayer
- 2:31:41break. Incredibly enough, we still have
- 2:31:43more than 5,000 people dialed in.
- 2:31:46Uh
- 2:31:46this means that we care about the topic.
- 2:31:50So let's watch it and see what we can do
- 2:31:51with it.
- 2:31:59>> So
- 2:32:01let's continue. Here's the prompt for
- 2:32:03um
- 2:32:04what we got from the brief.
- 2:32:07I'm going to share it. I think I shared
- 2:32:09it but I'm not sure.
- 2:32:12Yeah, it's already in the folder. That's
- 2:32:15correct.
- 2:32:18It's in the chat. If you can put it in
- 2:32:20there.
- 2:32:21And there's send and allow.
- 2:32:28So now what it's going to do is going to
- 2:32:29look at the brief and it's going to
- 2:32:31create a spec. A spec it's like
- 2:32:34uh each functionality, everything that
- 2:32:36the application has to do. It's going to
- 2:32:38be very small paragraph on what to
- 2:32:41build.
- 2:32:42And with that it's all for some that are
- 2:32:45product managers, maybe those are user
- 2:32:48stories and acceptance criteria
- 2:32:51depending on how
- 2:32:53how good you you you generate those uh
- 2:32:58those specs. So one of the things that
- 2:33:00you can do is use a skill which I didn't
- 2:33:03do here.
- 2:33:05So you can forward uh
- 2:33:08forward slash and write
- 2:33:10>> Uh Nico, you might want to share your
- 2:33:11screen.
- 2:33:13>> Ah, sorry.
- 2:33:19Yeah.
- 2:33:24So yeah, I sent here it's like
- 2:33:25generating the
- 2:33:27the spec.md file and it's going to store
- 2:33:29it in the work uh shop folder in my
- 2:33:32desktop.
- 2:33:33Now,
- 2:33:34here I just said, "Okay, write the write
- 2:33:37the um the spec for me."
- 2:33:40And so, it has momentum spec.
- 2:33:42But, at the beginning, you can write
- 2:33:46write
- 2:33:50spec, this one.
- 2:33:52And it will pick up that scale.
- 2:33:54And then, you can write for
- 2:33:58the momentum front end app blah blah
- 2:34:00blah blah blah,
- 2:34:01and it's going to write it based on the
- 2:34:03scale that is created.
- 2:34:05So, if you can go to the customize
- 2:34:09and to skills.
- 2:34:14Okay.
- 2:34:15And then, project manager product
- 2:34:17manager
- 2:34:19management. And then, you will find here
- 2:34:22write spec.
- 2:34:24If you click on this one, you will see
- 2:34:26actually the scale.
- 2:34:28And you can edit it. Okay.
- 2:34:31I can go back.
- 2:34:32Lot of odds.
- 2:34:34I can go back. So,
- 2:34:36uh
- 2:34:39Let me see. Yeah, so, you can either
- 2:34:42just write the message like this to
- 2:34:44Claude, and it will generate the
- 2:34:46spec.md.
- 2:34:50Or you can use a command,
- 2:34:52which is a skill inside of Claude.
- 2:34:55>> Um Nico, can you share the prompt that
- 2:34:57you just shared?
- 2:34:59Put it in the chat.
- 2:35:00>> It's in the chat.
- 2:35:02>> Oh, so for anyone who didn't see it,
- 2:35:04it's the
- 2:35:06um it's that second one.
- 2:35:08>> After product manager, yeah.
- 2:35:12But, they have to add save it in
- 2:35:13momentum spec.md in this folder, like
- 2:35:17the two bubble charts.
- 2:35:19>> Okay.
- 2:35:20>> to be added.
- 2:35:21>> So,
- 2:35:23for whoever's following,
- 2:35:26please copy paste the here's the product
- 2:35:27brief, and then also include save it as
- 2:35:30momentum spec.md in this folder. Now,
- 2:35:33why are we doing this?
- 2:35:39What Why do we need to save it as
- 2:35:41momentum spec.md?
- 2:35:45>> We're saving it in that folder as the
- 2:35:49an MD file, so you don't have to copy
- 2:35:52paste each prompt after include code.
- 2:35:56>> So, for those who don't know what an MD
- 2:36:00file
- 2:36:05>> An MD file is a markdown file, so it's a
- 2:36:08text file, like Word, PDF,
- 2:36:12uh
- 2:36:13any text file.
- 2:36:15So, it will save it as a text file
- 2:36:17inside of the folder.
- 2:36:20And then we will point code to that
- 2:36:22folder and say, "Take that file
- 2:36:25and build the app."
- 2:36:27And you will not do anything. You will
- 2:36:28not even prompt anything anymore.
- 2:36:33>> I re-put the post the
- 2:36:35>> to understand what are you doing.
- 2:36:37>> in the chat. It's both. It's a
- 2:36:39combination of the last two.
- 2:36:42I did it on my side. Maybe, Nico, what I
- 2:36:44could do is you could walk me through as
- 2:36:46I'm doing it. It might be easier for
- 2:36:48everyone to see cuz I'm doing it also
- 2:36:49from full scratch.
- 2:36:52Do you think it might help?
- 2:36:58>> So, I redo I redo
- 2:37:00Well, I paste again.
- 2:37:02>> Yeah. I'm just going to just going to
- 2:37:04see for everyone. So, let's just take
- 2:37:06one quick step back,
- 2:37:08and I'm going to ask everyone
- 2:37:10if leave a heart if you got to the step
- 2:37:13where I was here earlier. So,
- 2:37:16now I ran
- 2:37:18the prompt,
- 2:37:20but earlier
- 2:37:22where I was, okay, I'm seeing hearts and
- 2:37:23thumbs up, perfect. The from that part
- 2:37:26all I did was I copy-pasted this, the
- 2:37:28two
- 2:37:30messages.
- 2:37:32Here's my product brief. Momentum is a
- 2:37:34front-end only one-page habit tracker
- 2:37:37for Vanna, who's 28 and in yard,
- 2:37:40and users like her.
- 2:37:42It owns the 2 minutes before bed,
- 2:37:46opens,
- 2:37:47tick today's habits,
- 2:37:49watch the streak grow.
- 2:37:51So, this is the the the product spec
- 2:37:54that we got from the chat
- 2:37:56when we're in Claude chat when he said
- 2:37:58create a habit tracker app, it resulted
- 2:38:00this.
- 2:38:01And then it says save it as a momentum
- 2:38:03spec, and this is the one thing to
- 2:38:05learn,
- 2:38:06and this is what it produced.
- 2:38:08This is my momentum spec
- 2:38:11in the folder that we had put,
- 2:38:15which was the desktop.
- 2:38:17Uh which was the workshop. So, we think
- 2:38:20uh
- 2:38:23but um
- 2:38:29>> I can't see your
- 2:38:31Yeah, now I see. Okay.
- 2:38:32So, for everyone in the folder, you
- 2:38:34should see the empty file.
- 2:38:36>> Okay. So, for all the olds,
- 2:38:40um we're going to have to at some point
- 2:38:42kind of flow through just to see as the
- 2:38:45app goes, but this is
- 2:38:48a tough session to be honest.
- 2:38:50Um but
- 2:38:52at first we went for for
- 2:38:55downloading
- 2:38:57Claude
- 2:38:59um
- 2:39:00Claude application.
- 2:39:01Then we went to
- 2:39:03the co-work. So, within this search here
- 2:39:07we had the option for co-work.
- 2:39:10When you hit new, we could hit co-work.
- 2:39:12And then, we connected it to a folder
- 2:39:16that we created.
- 2:39:17And then, we pasted the prompt.
- 2:39:20When we pasted the prompt,
- 2:39:21it gave us this document, but it
- 2:39:25downloaded the document
- 2:39:27inside the folder that we had selected,
- 2:39:31which is this one.
- 2:39:35Nico, am I doing things right so far?
- 2:39:39>> Yeah.
- 2:39:41>> Okay.
- 2:39:41>> Exactly.
- 2:39:42>> And you're at the exact same level, too,
- 2:39:44right?
- 2:39:48If I stop share, are you in the exact
- 2:39:50same place?
- 2:39:51>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:39:52Yeah, yeah, exact same.
- 2:39:53>> Okay, back over to you.
- 2:40:05>> So, now that was generated,
- 2:40:09I go to my
- 2:40:11folders into
- 2:40:14the desktop,
- 2:40:16the workshop folder,
- 2:40:18and I see my MD file.
- 2:40:20You can open it in any note or word or
- 2:40:24any document.
- 2:40:28Once that's working,
- 2:40:30you have your spec list of the full
- 2:40:33product.
- 2:40:34You can read it. You can ask to change
- 2:40:37it, amend it, improve it.
- 2:40:39If it didn't understand what you wanted,
- 2:40:41you can
- 2:40:43keep chatting in here, in co-work, with
- 2:40:46AI
- 2:40:47to modify that spec.md
- 2:40:53And then,
- 2:40:55once you're ready with the file,
- 2:40:57you can go to the code
- 2:41:01tab,
- 2:41:02click on new session.
- 2:41:09And then we're going to paste that
- 2:41:12She's just going to say
- 2:41:14to run them define.
- 2:41:19>> I'm going to do it in in parallel with
- 2:41:21everyone and I'll I'll share too.
- 2:41:25To see if everyone is also if I'm if I'm
- 2:41:27able as an audience member to follow
- 2:41:29through.
- 2:41:33Here.
- 2:41:34This is this is where we were.
- 2:41:37New, go to code.
- 2:41:39New session.
- 2:41:41And then the new and then the new
- 2:41:42prompt. Is that it?
- 2:41:49>> And then paste the prompt in the chat.
- 2:41:52>> Okay.
- 2:41:57>> What I'm saying
- 2:41:58is read the momentum spec and define in
- 2:42:01this folder.
- 2:42:03>> So it's learning Okay, so now a new
- 2:42:05project that's going to read that spec.
- 2:42:07>> Again.
- 2:42:09>> Wow.
- 2:42:11As one file, index.html. What is
- 2:42:13index.html?
- 2:42:22>> Index.html
- 2:42:24is the
- 2:42:26HTML file because it's a front-end
- 2:42:28application. You're going to be able to
- 2:42:30click on the index.html
- 2:42:33file to see the application.
- 2:42:38But
- 2:42:41Can before before you before you enter
- 2:42:44anything, I
- 2:42:47Can I
- 2:42:49Can I share my screen?
- 2:42:50>> Yep.
- 2:42:53>> You need to point it at the workshop
- 2:42:54folder as well, huh?
- 2:42:56>> Mhm.
- 2:43:05>> I'm sharing my screen now.
- 2:43:08Once you're in code, you might not see
- 2:43:10these. Those are my own pull requests
- 2:43:12and stuff. You you you you won't be able
- 2:43:14to see the the same thing as I and I do.
- 2:43:17But, in the
- 2:43:20folder here, the middle one, where you
- 2:43:22see the folder icon,
- 2:43:25means pointing at what
- 2:43:28at one of my projects, but you select
- 2:43:30open folder,
- 2:43:32desktop,
- 2:43:34the workshop folder, wherever you put
- 2:43:35it. Maybe you didn't put it in the in
- 2:43:37the desktop.
- 2:43:39You select the workshop folder,
- 2:43:44and trust workspace.
- 2:43:47So, now again, you click on the icon
- 2:43:49where you have the folder, select your
- 2:43:51workshop folder,
- 2:43:53and allow it.
- 2:43:57And then,
- 2:43:59you can paste your prompt.
- 2:44:01The prompt is in the chat. It starts
- 2:44:03with read the momentum spec.md file.
- 2:44:07>> Can you point to the folder
- 2:44:08>> at this folder,
- 2:44:11and you're asking it to read it, it will
- 2:44:14start building it.
- 2:44:16I'm saying index.html.
- 2:44:19This is a bit technical. You don't even
- 2:44:20have to do to write this.
- 2:44:23Um
- 2:44:25It will create it automatically for you.
- 2:44:28It will create the .html automatically
- 2:44:30for you.
- 2:44:32>> And why did we open
- 2:44:34a new
- 2:44:35>> just for you to see how I write my
- 2:44:37prompts.
- 2:44:39>> Um
- 2:44:40why did you open a new like why did you
- 2:44:41open a new session under code?
- 2:44:47>> You have to create a new session.
- 2:44:48>> Like this new step, so the previous
- 2:44:51>> Yeah, so we created the dot mg file just
- 2:44:53for for everyone's understanding who's
- 2:44:56looking at the questions. So we created
- 2:44:58a dot we created the first dot mg file
- 2:45:01with the with the first
- 2:45:03um co-work session and we created that
- 2:45:06folder and then we went to a new session
- 2:45:09and opened code and pasted the prompt
- 2:45:11there. Why did we switch from one to the
- 2:45:13next?
- 2:45:17>> Because code is to build
- 2:45:19the application.
- 2:45:21And co-work is to plan
- 2:45:25the
- 2:45:26what we're going to do, how we're going
- 2:45:27to build it.
- 2:45:28>> Okay.
- 2:45:29>> You switch to code to start building.
- 2:45:31You need to create a new session so
- 2:45:33you're on the white canvas, a new
- 2:45:35project.
- 2:45:36Cuz I have I have a ton if you can see
- 2:45:39on the left-hand side. I have a ton of
- 2:45:40projects, but
- 2:45:42um
- 2:45:42you need to create a new session
- 2:45:45and start your new project. If you're
- 2:45:47working on the previous project, so I
- 2:45:48can go back to the momentum app you saw
- 2:45:51at the beginning of the meeting.
- 2:45:56>> Okay.
- 2:45:56>> Cheers.
- 2:45:57>> I'm following with you, Nico. I've got
- 2:46:00the uh
- 2:46:01an application is being is being built
- 2:46:04right now.
- 2:46:09>> And
- 2:46:11Okay, I didn't run it yet, but I'm going
- 2:46:13to run it now.
- 2:46:19And show you so for example, I can go
- 2:46:20back to the previous session.
- 2:46:23I can continue work here by chatting
- 2:46:27with AI and improving that application.
- 2:46:31But to start something new, I need to
- 2:46:32create a new session.
- 2:46:36When you see that it's like
- 2:46:39disappearing and appearing like a small
- 2:46:41button here, this means it's working.
- 2:46:44This one when it's orange mean it needs
- 2:46:47attention, So it's asking a question or
- 2:46:49something. So if I click on it, I need
- 2:46:51to select
- 2:46:53something to keep on going.
- 2:46:55Everything that is green is that the
- 2:46:58request passed for the one that are
- 2:47:00technical.
- 2:47:03And the ones that are purple, it's a
- 2:47:05branch
- 2:47:07for the ones that are technical.
- 2:47:10I wasn't at all like if you go back uh
- 2:47:153 years,
- 2:47:17I didn't know anything about code. But
- 2:47:19now that I'm working with code so much,
- 2:47:23I've learned I've learned to read code.
- 2:47:27I don't know how to write code still,
- 2:47:29but I can read and I can understand
- 2:47:33how to push to GitHub or to what when I
- 2:47:37need a database, how to
- 2:47:39work through it because
- 2:47:42Cloud walked me through it step by step.
- 2:47:45You know, everything I wanted to do, I
- 2:47:48ask and it does it it walks me through
- 2:47:51step by step even by click.
- 2:47:54And now later I'm going to show you the
- 2:47:55Cloud extension,
- 2:47:58which is insane as a tool. For me, it's
- 2:48:00my favorite tool in Cloud.
- 2:48:03You can actually point it at the website
- 2:48:05or any like at a database, and it will
- 2:48:08walk you
- 2:48:09exactly through what to click and what
- 2:48:11to do.
- 2:48:12And it can do it for you as well. So
- 2:48:17we'll go through that in a
- 2:48:18bit once we reach the For example, what
- 2:48:22I'm going to do um to test the
- 2:48:24application
- 2:48:25if I click on it.
- 2:48:27Sorry.
- 2:48:29>> No, like once once it loads on your
- 2:48:31side. On my side, it's it's loading. I
- 2:48:33wanted to do just a very quick recap for
- 2:48:35everyone.
- 2:48:36I just share just the one two three
- 2:48:38steps that we did cuz ultimately
- 2:48:41it comes down to one two 3. We're still
- 2:48:43on the two prompts.
- 2:48:45Um so, let's
- 2:48:47do a very very quick recap.
- 2:48:51First of all,
- 2:48:53we downloaded
- 2:48:54Claude.
- 2:48:56On Google, we downloaded Claude.
- 2:49:00Then, we opened Claude.
- 2:49:02And we found in a new conversation in a
- 2:49:06new session
- 2:49:07co-work.
- 2:49:10Um
- 2:49:12Oh, I'm in code.
- 2:49:14In a new session, we found co-work.
- 2:49:16We connected the folder
- 2:49:19on our computer, which means that like
- 2:49:21Nicola is saying,
- 2:49:22it allows Claude to control that folder
- 2:49:26and save files there.
- 2:49:29There, we told it to create This was uh
- 2:49:31when we
- 2:49:33created it, we put our first prompt,
- 2:49:35which just said, create an app for
- 2:49:38a um
- 2:49:40uh here's a product brief for a
- 2:49:42momentum, which is a habit tracking app.
- 2:49:45>> You're cutting out, Roy.
- 2:49:47>> Oh.
- 2:49:48Can you hear?
- 2:49:52>> Roy, you're cutting out.
- 2:49:53>> Oh, okay.
- 2:49:55I'll I'll stop then if I'm cutting out.
- 2:50:00Am I Am I back or am I still cutting
- 2:50:02out?
- 2:50:11Am I out?
- 2:50:12Carlos, then we can uh
- 2:50:14I can pass it back to
- 2:50:17wanted to do a very quick recap. I'm
- 2:50:20going to switch over to another
- 2:50:21internet.
- 2:50:22Can you hear me back again?
- 2:50:28Can you hear me?
- 2:50:31>> Yeah, your voice is clearer now.
- 2:50:33>> Okay, great. So, just wanted to Now, we
- 2:50:35downloaded Claude.
- 2:50:37We opened it.
- 2:50:39And only if you have the paid version,
- 2:50:41can you under home new C co-work.
- 2:50:46Step one.
- 2:50:48Step two
- 2:50:50is we connected it to a folder.
- 2:50:53We picked a folder on our computer.
- 2:50:57Step three, we pasted the spec.
- 2:51:00Which is here.
- 2:51:06The spec which is here.
- 2:51:08And this gave us this spec.
- 2:51:13Then we went from
- 2:51:16here to Clood co-work.
- 2:51:20Then we went to Clood co-work.
- 2:51:23And then
- 2:51:25created a new session.
- 2:51:27Yes?
- 2:51:29I can't be heard. Okay, I'll I'll pause.
- 2:51:31Back over to you, Nico. I was just
- 2:51:33recapping
- 2:51:34um everything.
- 2:51:42>> Thank you. I I I will uh
- 2:51:45go through it step by step again if you
- 2:51:47want.
- 2:51:48Can I have a thumbs up if I have to go
- 2:51:50through it step by step again?
- 2:51:53>> Nice, Nico. Thanks.
- 2:51:56Yes. A bunch of thumbs up.
- 2:51:59>> Okay.
- 2:52:00So, what did
- 2:52:02So, what we did first, we put the first
- 2:52:05prompt that is in the chat. I will put
- 2:52:07it again.
- 2:52:15I will put the first prompt that you
- 2:52:17will put in chat.
- 2:52:19Okay?
- 2:52:22So, this one is for chat. Once you have
- 2:52:25this, it will generate
- 2:52:28the brief.
- 2:52:32Once you have the brief,
- 2:52:35you will generate this. So, here inside
- 2:52:37of the second prompt I'm going to paste
- 2:52:40now,
- 2:52:41the brief is already inside it. It's a
- 2:52:43previous brief I already
- 2:52:46Okay?
- 2:52:50You can read it through where it says
- 2:52:52momentum is a front-end only one-page
- 2:52:55habit tracker. That's the brief.
- 2:52:59So, you move to co-work.
- 2:53:03You point the folder to workshop.
- 2:53:06And you paste that into
- 2:53:08co-work.
- 2:53:21So, co-work
- 2:53:23will generate
- 2:53:25the spec.md file.
- 2:53:28That will be in the workshop folder.
- 2:53:31If you open your workshop folder, you
- 2:53:33should see that file inside of it.
- 2:53:37Anyone see the spec.md file in the
- 2:53:40workshop folder? Thumbs-up.
- 2:53:44One, two, not too many.
- 2:53:50>> That's a good ratio, Nico.
- 2:53:52There's a lot of spec.md md's.
- 2:53:56>> Okay.
- 2:54:01For the ones who didn't have it, you can
- 2:54:03continue following through.
- 2:54:05I will put the prompt that you will be
- 2:54:06able to paste into code.
- 2:54:09This recording will be sent to you again
- 2:54:11tomorrow. You will be able to go through
- 2:54:14it step-by-step. If you have any
- 2:54:16questions, you can reach out to me. I
- 2:54:19don't know how many I can answer of the
- 2:54:20messages on LinkedIn, but I will try to
- 2:54:23do as much as I can.
- 2:54:26And I will send a document. Maybe I send
- 2:54:29it to Roy tomorrow. As well as a
- 2:54:31step-by-step of everything that we did
- 2:54:33today.
- 2:54:35So don't worry. But we want to reach to
- 2:54:37the end of the application.
- 2:54:40So that's the last prompt the second
- 2:54:42prompt. So now you should have an MD5.
- 2:54:47And then it's
- 2:54:49the last one which is you go to code
- 2:54:52point to the folder as well workshop
- 2:54:55and then paste this prompt in here. The
- 2:54:59read momentum spec.md. That's how it
- 2:55:02starts.
- 2:55:04Once you have that in
- 2:55:08and you allow you can put always allow.
- 2:55:10It's fine.
- 2:55:12It's going to go and start building the
- 2:55:14application.
- 2:55:34So now you can see it generated an
- 2:55:37index.md file because I told it to name
- 2:55:39it
- 2:55:40index.md.
- 2:55:42This is an HTML file. It's always going
- 2:55:45to be in your folder. It's always going
- 2:55:47to be an index
- 2:55:49.html.
- 2:55:52And now it created the application for
- 2:55:54me.
- 2:55:56We can see a lot of hearts. I assume
- 2:55:59that's good now.
- 2:56:01And for the Os I'm sorry.
- 2:56:03>> [laughter]
- 2:56:05>> But
- 2:56:06but we can we're I'm I'm here to help.
- 2:56:08So you can send me a LinkedIn message.
- 2:56:09I'm happy to answer any questions.
- 2:56:12I'll have an AI agent responding.
- 2:56:16Uh
- 2:56:17so um
- 2:56:19we have the application up.
- 2:56:22Now we want to test that application.
- 2:56:25But do we really want to test that
- 2:56:26application or we want AI to test that
- 2:56:28application for us and tell us what's
- 2:56:31good, what's not in it.
- 2:56:33So, we're going to paste our First,
- 2:56:37we need the Cloud extension. Can I have
- 2:56:40some thumbs up of who has the Cloud
- 2:56:43extension in Chrome?
- 2:56:48>> Maybe walk everyone through where you
- 2:56:49download
- 2:56:50>> Not too many.
- 2:56:56>> I'll put the link in the chat.
- 2:57:00>> So, you go to the extension manager
- 2:57:05or you can find it from here.
- 2:57:07You click on the three dots in the
- 2:57:08Chrome
- 2:57:10and you go to extensions.
- 2:57:13Manage extension or or visit Chrome Web
- 2:57:16Store. It's easier, it's faster.
- 2:57:19Once you open this,
- 2:57:22you click Cloud.
- 2:57:25Enter. It's going to be the first one
- 2:57:28up.
- 2:57:33>> And the link is in the chat as well to
- 2:57:34everyone.
- 2:57:37To download the Chrome extension.
- 2:57:42>> Once you install it,
- 2:57:45you click again on the extensions. So,
- 2:57:48extension manager as well for the ones
- 2:57:51that have been connected.
- 2:57:55You should see it in here.
- 2:57:58Once you click on this one, you can pin
- 2:58:01it.
- 2:58:04Once you pin it, it's always going to be
- 2:58:06here.
- 2:58:10Unpin
- 2:58:12>> Um maybe a quick thumb up for everyone
- 2:58:15who has opened the Chrome extension is
- 2:58:17downloading it.
- 2:58:22>> As well, just so you know, it will work
- 2:58:24only with the pro with the paid version.
- 2:58:27It's not going to work with the free
- 2:58:28version.
- 2:58:33The pro or the max.
- 2:58:44>> What do we use the Chrome extension for?
- 2:58:46How does it connect to the project?
- 2:58:54>> The the
- 2:58:56Chrome extension can be used on its own.
- 2:58:59So, even you if I open any like for
- 2:59:02example, I can open LinkedIn.
- 2:59:13Click on it.
- 2:59:15Here, you would have a side panel.
- 2:59:18I can ask look
- 2:59:21for
- 2:59:22any
- 2:59:24of my connection
- 2:59:28that were
- 2:59:31the same person.
- 2:59:37That's
- 2:59:41And it's going to go through LinkedIn
- 2:59:44and everything and
- 2:59:46check on its own. I'm not going to do
- 2:59:49anything. So, you look at the plan, open
- 2:59:51my LinkedIn profile,
- 2:59:53and then go to my connection, and then
- 2:59:55for each connection as I send LinkedIn,
- 2:59:59uh
- 3:00:00it's going to look through all the the
- 3:00:02alumni.
- 3:00:03>> Wow.
- 3:00:04>> You go to your proof plan, it's going to
- 3:00:07do it for you.
- 3:00:09Now, you see this orange around? See,
- 3:00:12I'm not hands-free. I'm not doing
- 3:00:14anything.
- 3:00:15And it's just scrolling.
- 3:00:19And it's going to go into my LinkedIn
- 3:00:21and look for all the people
- 3:00:23on my
- 3:00:25from my university. And then it's going
- 3:00:28to write them on the right-hand side.
- 3:00:32So you can do like
- 3:00:34space on my hand right here.
- 3:00:36It's It's working on its own.
- 3:00:38You can see the orange cursor, the
- 3:00:40mouse. This is This is Cloud moving and
- 3:00:43clicking
- 3:00:44on everything.
- 3:00:46And I'm not doing anything.
- 3:00:48So that's the That's what's amazing.
- 3:00:50You can do so many things. You can go on
- 3:00:52to any website.
- 3:00:54And it will do things for you. Like
- 3:00:56those are the routines on the For
- 3:00:57example, the schedules that I was
- 3:00:59talking about at the beginning.
- 3:01:02You can run, give a URL. Every morning,
- 3:01:04for example, I have one that goes and
- 3:01:07generate leads for me for my job. You
- 3:01:10know, it goes on LinkedIn, find leads,
- 3:01:12write messages for those leads, and then
- 3:01:14it shows me the message. And I just say,
- 3:01:17"Okay, send or don't send."
- 3:01:21So
- 3:01:22And now it's working through a lot alone
- 3:01:25and and doing its thing until it gets me
- 3:01:27everything I need.
- 3:01:29So
- 3:01:31that's that's how powerful. That's the
- 3:01:34extension working on its own.
- 3:01:36But the extension is connected to
- 3:01:39Co-Work
- 3:01:41and to Code.
- 3:01:42So if you send in Co-Work in the chat,
- 3:01:46for example, from here,
- 3:01:51back
- 3:01:53in a new session.
- 3:01:57And you go on Co-Work and send the URL
- 3:02:01and say, "Open it in the browser."
- 3:02:04It will call the Chrome extension.
- 3:02:07It will open it for you
- 3:02:09and run the a full job that you're
- 3:02:10asking
- 3:02:11full task.
- 3:02:15So, what I really want to do and show
- 3:02:17you is to actually test this application
- 3:02:21that we've built now
- 3:02:23with the Chrome extension as a QA
- 3:02:26tester, a quality assurance tester. So,
- 3:02:29in product when you build technology for
- 3:02:31the ones that know, you have a person
- 3:02:33that whose job is to test the
- 3:02:35application and find bugs and try to
- 3:02:37break it.
- 3:02:39And you can create that agent that will
- 3:02:42test the application for you.
- 3:02:44So, what we're going to do
- 3:02:47before you actually test it
- 3:02:48you have to do some effort and test it
- 3:02:50at some point,
- 3:02:51but
- 3:02:53it will remove a lot of your time to uh
- 3:02:57do it. So,
- 3:03:01here you will paste in the same chat in
- 3:03:05code, okay?
- 3:03:08You're going to paste this in,
- 3:03:10which is
- 3:03:14this
- 3:03:16which is just open the index.htm
- 3:03:21in the pre Oh, wait. I I did this the
- 3:03:23Yeah.
- 3:03:25And check for errors.
- 3:03:27Here is what I see on my screen,
- 3:03:29describe or paste uh
- 3:03:32and fix it. So, I would just want it to
- 3:03:33tell me what it sees, what it what it
- 3:03:36broke, what broke during the test and to
- 3:03:38fix it.
- 3:03:40>> Mhm.
- 3:03:43So, for everyone, just a quick pause.
- 3:03:46Have you do you
- 3:03:48leave a heart
- 3:03:50if you've built the app?
- 3:03:52I'm going to
- 3:03:53I I have it open on mine.
- 3:03:56Mine is in Arabic and English. I have my
- 3:03:58habit tracker.
- 3:04:01Wow.
- 3:04:02Okay. I need to take a screenshot of
- 3:04:04this. This is the
- 3:04:06Okay, guys just want to share something.
- 3:04:09This was the scariest, riskiest session
- 3:04:13of the entire event and 4,000 of us are
- 3:04:16still dialed in.
- 3:04:18And a lot of people said don't consider
- 3:04:21doing it, but we're like hell no, we're
- 3:04:23going to do it because why not? It's the
- 3:04:24coolest thing and you want to get to
- 3:04:26that level and many of us would
- 3:04:27appreciate it.
- 3:04:29And all the 7,500,
- 3:04:314,300, it's a paid version or at least
- 3:04:34watching or checking it out.
- 3:04:37And if you're putting a heart, that
- 3:04:39means you've you've gotten to that stage
- 3:04:41and the recording is here.
- 3:04:43At least it's extremely impressive to
- 3:04:45see the extension, what it can do.
- 3:04:48How it can control your computer and how
- 3:04:50it can start to
- 3:04:53fix its own bugs. And this is where you
- 3:04:55get to the multi-agent system.
- 3:04:57And Nico, maybe
- 3:04:59uh complete this, but if you can at some
- 3:05:02point, if you're up for it, to share how
- 3:05:04you map your brain.
- 3:05:06And you you talked about one of the
- 3:05:08crazy things you do.
- 3:05:10Um
- 3:05:12I just wanted to kind of wrap it up with
- 3:05:14this for everyone to get to that level.
- 3:05:16I learned more in this session, even
- 3:05:18though it's more complex, than um I have
- 3:05:21in in many others because now I learned
- 3:05:24to use cloud co-work and cloud code at
- 3:05:26the same time.
- 3:05:28So, that's not an easy one.
- 3:05:31Um
- 3:05:33So, thank you, Nico. Uh back over to
- 3:05:35you.
- 3:05:39>> Uh am I still sharing my screen? Thank
- 3:05:41you, Mark. Uh am I still sharing my
- 3:05:43screen?
- 3:05:44>> Yep, that's your screen.
- 3:05:45>> So, I'm going to allow once
- 3:05:48um to run this and you will be able to
- 3:05:50see
- 3:05:53it created momentum habit.
- 3:05:57And now
- 3:05:58it's going to go and open
- 3:06:01the HTML.
- 3:06:06So, it created that group on its own.
- 3:06:10Let me see. Oh, all the way down.
- 3:06:14And now you should see.
- 3:06:18So, now it's on
- 3:06:20uh
- 3:06:20save there.
- 3:06:36Just go with allow. I think my prompt
- 3:06:38wasn't the best, so.
- 3:07:00I should go maybe
- 3:07:03because it's an index file, it's not
- 3:07:05hosted. Maybe we need to go to clock.
- 3:07:11inspection
- 3:07:12I don't know which inspection.
- 3:07:16Okay.
- 3:07:23panels
- 3:07:26should go up here.
- 3:07:28You should have have allow access to
- 3:07:30file URL on.
- 3:07:35So, you just have the same the same
- 3:07:37options.
- 3:07:39And it will be able to open any file.
- 3:07:46>> We're seeing some Os, Nico. Could you
- 3:07:47please repeat that?
- 3:07:49>> Let's try it again.
- 3:07:55Yeah, I'm having an all as well.
- 3:07:58>> Okay.
- 3:08:00But the app is built.
- 3:08:02And we have
- 3:08:04hundreds if not more
- 3:08:05>> Yeah, yeah, the app is built. I just
- 3:08:07want to run it. I just want to show um
- 3:08:10everyone how it's going to test my
- 3:08:13application.
- 3:08:16Uh here it opened.
- 3:08:18Finally. Okay, now I can have
- 3:08:20So it opened
- 3:08:21the MD5 and the index.html,
- 3:08:25you can see.
- 3:08:30And now it's going to start testing it.
- 3:08:32Let's see what it says here.
- 3:08:34Wow.
- 3:08:38And now it does so it took a screenshot
- 3:08:40to see where it has to click.
- 3:08:44If you want to stop accepting every
- 3:08:46time, the you can go to edit accepted it
- 3:08:50and go to auto
- 3:08:53and click on auto.
- 3:08:55Enable auto mode.
- 3:08:58And then always allow. And then it will
- 3:09:00not ask you anymore.
- 3:09:05So
- 3:09:11>> I used the Chrome extension to look for
- 3:09:15LinkedIn messages that I received that
- 3:09:16said
- 3:09:17thank you or complimentary about the
- 3:09:19hackathon.
- 3:09:21>> [snorts]
- 3:09:21>> So now now Claude is going through my
- 3:09:22LinkedIn messages.
- 3:09:28>> So now you can see this
- 3:09:31orange and the orange cursor here.
- 3:09:33That's Claude that is testing the
- 3:09:36language. How you see? English, Arabic.
- 3:09:40And it's going to give me a full report
- 3:09:43on my application.
- 3:09:47On what's working and what's not.
- 3:09:50And then I can just ask Claude to fix
- 3:09:52them.
- 3:09:54So, I now I can't see anyone.
- 3:09:56Just want to see some of your reactions.
- 3:09:59Uh
- 3:10:11I still have a lot of holes.
- 3:10:13Uh
- 3:10:15How can we know what happened? So, where
- 3:10:17where are you at this point? Are you Did
- 3:10:20you
- 3:10:23Did you reach Did you reach that point
- 3:10:24that you paste the the prompt I shared?
- 3:10:29Did you put the in the extension? Did
- 3:10:32you allow all the files?
- 3:10:34Can I have a yes if you allowed all the
- 3:10:36files?
- 3:10:37>> Can you repeat how you how you allow all
- 3:10:39files? Maybe that could be the last
- 3:10:40thing we do just to get to that final
- 3:10:41step.
- 3:10:43Can you repeat how to allow all files?
- 3:10:49>> So, from the extension
- 3:10:51from the three buttons here,
- 3:10:54go to extensions.
- 3:10:57And then you go to manage extensions.
- 3:10:59>> So, okay.
- 3:11:01>> You find the Claude extension.
- 3:11:03>> Mhm.
- 3:11:05>> You click on details.
- 3:11:08>> Mhm.
- 3:11:11>> And then you scroll down.
- 3:11:13>> Allow access
- 3:11:13>> Find Allow access to file URLs.
- 3:11:17>> Okay.
- 3:11:30>> And you can try again.
- 3:11:36Uh
- 3:11:39So,
- 3:11:41let me see where is. Now, this is the
- 3:11:44application.
- 3:11:49Still testing.
- 3:11:51>> Mine has no errors.
- 3:12:01>> So, it says the console is clean.
- 3:12:04Error zero, warning or expectations are
- 3:12:07loading. Okay. English viewer address
- 3:12:10correctly. Arabic toggle works. Flipping
- 3:12:14Flipping to Arabia.
- 3:12:16Persistence works. Everything is working
- 3:12:18fine. It's a simple application.
- 3:12:23It's a very simple application, so it's
- 3:12:24it's expected.
- 3:12:26>> But, you can build so much on top of it.
- 3:12:28>> You can even go further when they write
- 3:12:30when they write
- 3:12:32Yeah, yeah. Like
- 3:12:34you can even when they write the spec
- 3:12:37you can ask to write as well
- 3:12:40a um
- 3:12:41a
- 3:12:42uh test script.
- 3:12:45And the test the test script is going to
- 3:12:49be exactly what AI has to do to test the
- 3:12:52application. Now, we just say to we just
- 3:12:55ask to test it. But, you can give very
- 3:12:57specific guidelines on where to click,
- 3:13:00what it what should happen, what's the
- 3:13:02expected behavior. And send that to the
- 3:13:05product extension.
- 3:13:06And it will do it exactly the same.
- 3:13:08Even over on a hover, if the color
- 3:13:11wasn't exact, it will tell you, you
- 3:13:13know? So, it's it's impressive. It's
- 3:13:16it's huge.
- 3:13:19And you can do so much.
- 3:13:21So, even from the home
- 3:13:23and the schedule, all those are my
- 3:13:25schedule. Now, I paused
- 3:13:28quite a few because it's it's consuming
- 3:13:30a lot of credits, and I wanted to keep
- 3:13:32some for the
- 3:13:33workshop. But,
- 3:13:35yeah, you can clean up your inbox, you
- 3:13:38can do some outreach.
- 3:13:41Uh
- 3:13:42you you have so many so many options.
- 3:13:45So many options.
- 3:13:47You can go really creative. Everything
- 3:13:49that you usually do on the browser,
- 3:13:51just connect Claude work to the browser
- 3:13:54and it will do it for you.
- 3:13:56Just to show you how far I went
- 3:13:59building with Claude,
- 3:14:02I've built my own operating system
- 3:14:05for my job.
- 3:14:08Where I have
- 3:14:1012 AI agents working for me.
- 3:14:14And I can speak. I can have the camera
- 3:14:17on with my AI agent
- 3:14:21uh using Gemini. So, Gemini Flash is
- 3:14:25insane for the ones who want to use it.
- 3:14:29You can connect Gemini with Claude.
- 3:14:32So, you can have both LLMs working.
- 3:14:35Uh
- 3:14:37So, yeah, everything without knowing a
- 3:14:39line of code.
- 3:14:40I created my own write system, uh my own
- 3:14:44um evaluation system. So, everything
- 3:14:47that AI outputs,
- 3:14:50I never I try never to do the work
- 3:14:52myself.
- 3:14:53And I try to send the feedback to AI
- 3:14:57every time until I'm happy with the
- 3:14:59output.
- 3:15:01So,
- 3:15:02and that's the best approach to really
- 3:15:05have AI working for you. If you're just
- 3:15:07going to have an output, change it
- 3:15:09yourself, and send it to a client or
- 3:15:12whoever, your manager, it's not going to
- 3:15:15help you.
- 3:15:16If you keep trying and sending and it
- 3:15:18let it learn, create your skills,
- 3:15:22and let it use your skills every time
- 3:15:24and improve your skills,
- 3:15:27the output will be so much better and
- 3:15:29you will see in a few weeks or in a few
- 3:15:32months
- 3:15:33that you minimize a lot of your work,
- 3:15:35right? AI was is able to produce work
- 3:15:38that you would do yourself and with
- 3:15:40minimal review.
- 3:15:42But I still review everything. There is
- 3:15:44always human in the loop. I'm not I'm
- 3:15:46not sending anything without even
- 3:15:49looking at it.
- 3:15:50But
- 3:15:52it's taking me what? 10 minutes every
- 3:15:54morning to look at everything that I
- 3:15:55need to send
- 3:15:57and then focus on something else.
- 3:16:00It's worth it.
- 3:16:03>> Everyone, this was we went from like
- 3:16:05level just get started
- 3:16:08and um
- 3:16:10build your app
- 3:16:11to level 10 when it comes to vibe coding
- 3:16:14or at least level eight or nine
- 3:16:15depending on
- 3:16:16uh how to learn it.
- 3:16:18Um
- 3:16:19and there's a reason why we didn't put
- 3:16:21this one at the end because in case you
- 3:16:24do want to build on top of this
- 3:16:26framework to give you an alternative
- 3:16:28over Replit.
- 3:16:29So you can use Replit, build something
- 3:16:31you want, but now you also have
- 3:16:33Cloud
- 3:16:35um co-work and code
- 3:16:37and extension to do something where for
- 3:16:40example, we were thinking make an eye to
- 3:16:43do an application where in real estate
- 3:16:46where you can have a chatbot and you can
- 3:16:48say find me apartments
- 3:16:50um let's say I'm a parent with a
- 3:16:53five-year-old and a seven-year-old kid
- 3:16:55find me apartments that are close to a
- 3:16:57school
- 3:16:59um and I'm looking for a two to
- 3:17:01three-bedroom
- 3:17:02uh next to this particular neighborhood
- 3:17:05and it would search
- 3:17:07the web
- 3:17:09across all brokers and agents
- 3:17:12and then bring back the listings and
- 3:17:15suggest apartments for you and this is
- 3:17:16how Nikola found his latest apartment.
- 3:17:20So this is some of the things that you
- 3:17:22can do.
- 3:17:22>> Right, right. Please right.
- 3:17:25>> Yeah.
- 3:17:26So this is some of the things that you
- 3:17:28can do. We're going to share the
- 3:17:29recording. We're all going to need it.
- 3:17:32Right? Uh it's going to be in in for in
- 3:17:34tonight's session.
- 3:17:36Um we're going to try to send it out
- 3:17:37tonight
- 3:17:38or max tomorrow morning.
- 3:17:40Um
- 3:17:42let's say tomorrow morning.
- 3:17:43But, uh
- 3:17:45it's worth watching that portion if
- 3:17:47you're interested
- 3:17:48because um it's a huge topic to tackle
- 3:17:52in the span of an hour and a half.
- 3:17:55So, I wanted to say Nico, thank you very
- 3:17:57much, and you can see the hearts here.
- 3:17:59Even though a lot of us
- 3:18:01had oh, so that we can keep track of it,
- 3:18:03but
- 3:18:04we got there at the end.
- 3:18:07And at minimum, we got to understand the
- 3:18:09power
- 3:18:10of using Cloze to its full potential
- 3:18:12because we didn't just say let's just
- 3:18:14use Cloze code or Cloze work or
- 3:18:17extension. We said let's use them all
- 3:18:19together.
- 3:18:20So,
- 3:18:22the recording is there, and we're going
- 3:18:23to put the step-by-step instruction.
- 3:18:25Thank you, Nico.
- 3:18:26Uh in tomorrow's um
- 3:18:28um
- 3:18:29recording.
- 3:18:30And um
- 3:18:33I think that's it.
- 3:18:35Um
- 3:18:36Just
- 3:18:38That's it. So, let's end it here.
- 3:18:40Thank you, everyone. 3,800 of us are
- 3:18:43dialed in for the 3-hour and 20-minute
- 3:18:45session.
- 3:18:47Tomorrow's session is going to be a lot
- 3:18:48easier.
- 3:18:49We're going to finish it. It's going to
- 3:18:51be uh just a kid's game in comparison.
- 3:18:55Um
- 3:18:56and it's going to be in the creative
- 3:18:57side.
