- 0:00Here's some titles of her other papers.
- 0:02Non-binary black woman's gender
- 0:05expression in an anti-trans and
- 0:06anti-black women America.
- 0:09Damn, even her nonsense doesn't make
- 0:11sense.
- 0:12Then there's critical consciousness of
- 0:13anti-black racism, a practical model to
- 0:15prevent and resist racial trauma. And
- 0:18then there's this paper, black
- 0:19psychology and whiteness toward a
- 0:21conceptual model of black trauma through
- 0:23the prism of whiteness.
- 0:25You know, she could have saved us some
- 0:26time and written
- 0:28white people on a chalkboard.
- 0:31So what So what the hell is whiteness?
- 0:35>> [laughter]
- 0:35>> Besides the line at a Brian Kilmeade
- 0:37book signing.
- 0:40>> [laughter]
- 0:41>> Well,
- 0:45that Greg GUTFELD SHOW IS FUNNY.
- 0:49>> [applause]
- 0:50>> WELL, FOR HER IT'S OPPRESSION, including
- 0:52things like white standards, white
- 0:54emotions, white attitudes, white
- 0:56reactions to race, and white privilege.
- 0:58And she claims whiteness can produce
- 1:00race-based traumatic stress, which leads
- 1:03to actual harm. This from a woman who is
- 1:05part of an ethnic group responsible for
- 1:0858% of violent crimes. Yeah, way more
- 1:11against whites than whites against
- 1:13blacks. Charade. I apologize.
- 1:15>> Does that include cops?
- 1:16>> Yes.
- 1:17>> [laughter]
- 1:18>> I'm sorry, my whiteness digresses.
- 1:21So in other words, whiteness is a
- 1:23disease and not a description. Now, you
- 1:25might ask, how does this actually help a
- 1:27patient? If a guy
- 1:29thinks he's walking into a room to fix
- 1:31his anxiety, his marriage, or his
- 1:33depression, and he's told that his
- 1:35problems are really his privilege or his
- 1:37identity as an oppressor, why would he
- 1:39stay? Hell, if I want to sit there and
- 1:41have someone call me a racist, I'd stay
- 1:43home and watch Law & Order.
- 1:46And it's not just men. Send your kid to
- 1:48an APA therapist, what do you think
- 1:50you're going to get back? A healthier,
- 1:51more resilient kid who builds
- 1:53relationships and controls his emotions?
- 1:55Or a kid who thinks mommy and daddy are
- 1:57the problem cuz they're the wrong race,
- 1:59the wrong sex, or the wrong politics.
- 2:01With true believers like Hargens, you're
- 2:03lucky if the kid comes home with all of
- 2:05they/them parts still attached.
- 2:09But you know these theories are quackery
- 2:10cuz they cannot be falsified, meaning
- 2:12there's no way to show the idea to be
- 2:14wrong. In fact, contrary evidence
- 2:17can be seen as proof.
- 2:19Oh, you say you're not racist? Well,
- 2:21that's exactly what a racist would say.
- 2:24How would you like that for a therapist?
- 2:26You want to help, you get harassed.
- 2:28But it's yet another ideological capture
- 2:30of a medical field where wokeism has
- 2:32infiltrated and contaminated the
- 2:33treatment. Here it's Hargens' work,
- 2:36racial trauma, whiteness,
- 2:37decolonization, gender expression. And
- 2:39the APA didn't randomly choose her, they
- 2:41knew her work and chose her anyway.
- 2:43After all, the APA has stated clearly
- 2:46that men are toxic, white people are
- 2:48racist, and trans kids aren't just real,
- 2:50they're to be celebrated. So, with the
- 2:52APA, the lunatics have already taken
- 2:54over the asylum. And the real story
- 2:57isn't who is Candace Hargens, it's what
- 2:59the hell is happening to therapy cuz
- 3:00right now these freaks have no interest
- 3:03in healing your mind, just washing your
- 3:06brain.
- 3:08>> ADAM CAROLLA!
- 3:12CHAD DUKES!
- 3:15HE'S THE ONLY DOCTOR whose prostate
- 3:18exams get a four-star rating on Yelp.
- 3:20>> Chief medical officer of the wellness
- 3:21company, Dr. Drew Pinsky.
- 3:24I like that one.
- 3:25>> He looks like someone left Shaq in the
- 3:28dryer. Comedian Arnez J.
- 3:30Kennedy.
- 3:30>> Pretty good.
- 3:32Pretty good.
- 3:33PRETTY GOOD.
- 3:33>> SHE'S EATING for two and complaining for
- 3:3612.
- 3:39>> Here we go.
- 3:40>> [applause]
- 3:42>> And his tailor uses a cherry picker to
- 3:45measure his inseam.
- 3:47>> Former WWE world champion and host of
- 3:48the podcast, Diamond Dallas
- 3:54Dr. Drew, is it as bad as it sounds? I
- 3:56mean, the APA has a terrible reputation,
- 3:58but what's going on?
- 3:59>> It's actually worse. She's actually a
- 4:01very light version of what's out there.
- 4:03They have been completely captured by
- 4:05this notion that all of our
- 4:06psychological stress is a result of
- 4:08being colonized and then victimized.
- 4:11>> Yeah.
- 4:11>> And they locate all the issues of
- 4:14concern outside of the person. How is
- 4:16that ever going to be healed? It's the
- 4:18opposite of what mental health is, which
- 4:21is being regulated, as you said, being
- 4:24able to take responsibility for things.
- 4:26The locus of control has to go internal.
- 4:28>> Yeah.
- 4:28>> out there, you're going to see people
- 4:30with blow horn, you know, with bull
- 4:31horns out there yelling at ice.
- 4:33>> Yeah, the the first thing you do when
- 4:35you're going through some kind of
- 4:37therapy situation is get figure out how
- 4:39to get your side of the street clean.
- 4:41>> It's you. It's all you can You got to
- 4:43clean out your own emotional house.
- 4:45>> Yes.
- 4:45>> It's the only thing you can change. You
- 4:47can't change the world. That's
- 4:48ridiculous.
- 4:48>> You know, that's right, doc.
- 4:50>> [laughter]
- 4:52>> Also, Sherrod, it's like it doesn't help
- 4:54telling people that they're victims or
- 4:56blaming other people.
- 4:57>> First of all, Greg, do you go to
- 4:59therapy?
- 5:00>> No.
- 5:00>> You You need to.
- 5:01>> [laughter]
- 5:03>> I bet Let's start there. Let's start
- 5:05right there. I go to therapist, great
- 5:07therapist, Nina Love, and we're going to
- 5:08her for a couple years. I don't even
- 5:10trust anybody who don't go to therapy or
- 5:12been in rehab. I don't trust them.
- 5:13>> [laughter]
- 5:14>> Because these are people who never
- 5:16really looked in, took the time and the
- 5:19patience
- 5:20and you know, and the look inward and
- 5:22really go back to where all this where
- 5:24Batman began.
- 5:25>> Yeah, but but to Sherrod's point,
- 5:27though, you got to understand, we're
- 5:28training these young psychologists to
- 5:30think that that's some old outdated way
- 5:32of thinking about psychology, but
- 5:35it's the worst idea in the world they've
- 5:37been captured by, and it's really
- 5:39scaring me.
- 5:40>> It's intense. You got to go You got to
- 5:41go deep.
- 5:42>> Yeah.
- 5:42>> Because everything else we're doing in
- 5:43life, we just react into something that
- 5:45already happened.
- 5:46>> I find it hard to believe that you're in
- 5:48therapy.
- 5:49>> I know you find it hard to believe and
- 5:50you know what? It's not Obamacare if
- 5:51that's WHAT YOU'RE THINKING. [laughter]
- 5:56>> WHEN YOU GO TO THERAPY, DO YOU GET A
- 5:57FREE OBAMA PHONE?
- 5:59>> [laughter]
- 6:01>> THAT WAS FUNNY, GREG.
- 6:04>> [laughter]
- 6:06>> OH, THE OBAMA PHONE CAT. Those were the
- 6:08good times. So, imagine you are sending
- 6:11your kid, let's say your teenager, to a
- 6:13therapist and like would it's just
- 6:17better not to. I mean, you know you
- 6:18don't know what you're going to get. I
- 6:20mean, I guess you'd have to check to see
- 6:21if they belong to this association.
- 6:24>> Here's the thing about therapist,
- 6:25they're all academics. There are easy
- 6:27ways to find out what you're going to
- 6:28get.
- 6:29>> Yeah.
- 6:29>> You can look up the
- 6:32Before the internet, not so much, but
- 6:33you can look up I mean, a lot of these
- 6:34women's papers, you can see them all sh
