  1. 0:00Do you remember Alex and Leila Horoszi?
  2. 0:02>> Yeah, of course. Yeah, I saw him. The
  3. 0:04last time I saw him, actually, I was
  4. 0:05swimming.
  5. 0:06>> Where were we? Were we in Cabo on a
  6. 0:09boat?
  7. 0:10>> Yeah, we were on Cabo on a boat. Sabrina
  8. 0:12and I were on little skid doos and we
  9. 0:14pull up to this boat and Alex and his
  10. 0:16wife were on the back of the boat and
  11. 0:18they realized it's me in the water. So,
  12. 0:20it was a freak.
  13. 0:20>> Wow. Just a
  14. 0:22>> Cabo or France?
  15. 0:23>> Cabo.
  16. 0:23>> Yeah, Cabo. That's crazy cuz Ila was
  17. 0:25telling me that she got Alex a gift for
  18. 0:27Christmas and she was saying he's such a
  19. 0:29difficult person to get a gift for
  20. 0:30because he could buy anything he wants.
  21. 0:32He has everything. So she's like what
  22. 0:34does everything exactly?
  23. 0:36>> So she said it was 5 hours with you and
  24. 0:38I think she said she paid like 50,000 an
  25. 0:40hour.
  26. 0:40>> I know it was for you to consult. I
  27. 0:42think you paid 100 125 or something and
  28. 0:44it wasn't 5 hours. It was maybe 40
  29. 0:46minutes.
  30. 0:48>> 12 minutes for 40 minutes.
  31. 0:49>> Is that like your going rate for that?
  32. 0:51>> It goes to our foundation. So, it's not
  33. 0:53it's not, you know, it's a good cause,
  34. 0:56but it's it's not he wanted to tap into
  35. 0:59what I was doing and understand, hey,
  36. 1:01what are you doing that works? And and
  37. 1:03it paid off for him. I mean, I think
  38. 1:04that was two years ago, three years ago.
  39. 1:06>> Gosh.
  40. 1:07>> Yeah.
  41. 1:07>> So, what does that work out to be a
  42. 1:09minute? That is
  43. 1:10>> that's where his mind goes immediately.
  44. 1:11What it is all
  45. 1:13>> you need is one one minute to change
  46. 1:15your life. I mean really you need one
  47. 1:17idea one and he's the kind of guy both
  48. 1:19of them those guys are they'll take
  49. 1:21something and turn it into
  50. 1:23>> into something you know to gold and they
  51. 1:26did.
  52. 1:26>> So what do you notice about the type of
  53. 1:28person who's going to pay a hundred and
  54. 1:29something thousand for an hour? How do
  55. 1:31they come prepared for something like
  56. 1:32that? Do they ask questions?
  57. 1:34>> Yeah, that's good. Number one, you know,
  58. 1:37somebody that pays that much is either a
  59. 1:39huge fanboy, right, and and a bit weird
  60. 1:42or they're very very serious. in the
  61. 1:45case those guys very serious you know
  62. 1:47committed to their career looking for
  63. 1:48some hacks and did they come with
  64. 1:52questions I think they did you know we
  65. 1:53send people like a list of questions
  66. 1:55that they could consider you know to get
  67. 1:57them ready some people actually say that
  68. 2:00I don't do a lot of this I do maybe two
  69. 2:01of these a month but
  70. 2:03>> some people say that the questions and
  71. 2:05the the flight over as they're coming
  72. 2:08because they're considering now dude how
  73. 2:10am I going to use this 60 minutes
  74. 2:12>> you know even is beneficial icial to
  75. 2:14them because they're starting to really
  76. 2:16lock in on what is it they want to
  77. 2:18>> because you don't want to spend 100
  78. 2:19grand,
  79. 2:20>> right? But what kind of question and
  80. 2:21answer can be $100,000 worth of value?
  81. 2:24That's what I'm wondering cuz can't they
  82. 2:26like do it for maybe like 10% the like
  83. 2:2910 grand? Like that's trying to
  84. 2:30negotiate, you know what I mean? Like
  85. 2:32Yeah. Well, I'm not doing it for 10
  86. 2:33grand. So true.
  87. 2:34>> That's a different that's a different
  88. 2:35audience, a different gig, a different
  89. 2:37pitch. So like I'm not doing it.
  90. 2:39>> So where do you think your expertise is?
  91. 2:40>> Like I could come to you guys and say,
  92. 2:42"Look guys, I'll give you a hundred
  93. 2:43grand I don't I don't care what period
  94. 2:45of time I in less than 15 minutes. Tell
  95. 2:48me how to get my YouTube channel from
  96. 2:50two and a half million followers to 4.5.
  97. 2:52>> I do it for a lot less,
  98. 2:53>> but a lot.
  99. 2:54>> Drag would do it for free.
  100. 2:55>> Yeah, I do it for free. Good. Let's do
  101. 2:56it for free then, man. That's even
  102. 2:58better.
  103. 2:58>> But where do you think your expertise
  104. 3:00is?
  105. 3:00>> But I'll pay more attention if I pay
  106. 3:02100.
  107. 3:02>> True.
  108. 3:02>> That's a That's a good point. That's a
  109. 3:04very good point.
  110. 3:04>> You know, most people just never pay
  111. 3:06attention because they don't pay,
  112. 3:07>> right?
  113. 3:07>> Where do you think your expertise is? If
  114. 3:09someone's paying you that much for
  115. 3:10consulting, where is your experience in
  116. 3:12that? Is it business? Is it marketing?
  117. 3:14Is it sales? Is it real estate?
  118. 3:16>> No, I think it's, you know, I I have
  119. 3:18I've been blessed to be to learn a lot
  120. 3:21about all those. Like, you know, in the
  121. 3:22beginning was a sales guy. I mean, in
  122. 3:24the very beginning was like how to get
  123. 3:25off of drugs the first time you go to a
  124. 3:28treatment center. Yeah. Like the failure
  125. 3:29rate there was about 78%.
  126. 3:31>> I was one of those 22% that never went
  127. 3:34back, never used drug, never relapsed.
  128. 3:36So that was that that's something I know
  129. 3:38how to do and that's all I do is I just
  130. 3:40share with people things that I've
  131. 3:42learned how to do. Sales, I'm an
  132. 3:44excellent salesperson. I could help any
  133. 3:46organization in the world, not just
  134. 3:49double, triple, or quadruple, but I
  135. 3:51believe 10x their sales because there's
  136. 3:53so many missed opportunities on
  137. 3:54marketing. I mean, I've done a decent
  138. 3:56job in marketing. So only thing I ever
  139. 3:58share with anybody is like what what I
  140. 4:00did that works. It's not like I'm a
  141. 4:02genius. I'm like, these things worked,
  142. 4:04these things didn't. M
  143. 4:06>> you know and they never worked for us
  144. 4:07but these things worked and the mistakes
  145. 4:09we made in between those two.
  146. 4:11>> Uh the real estate I you know I've
  147. 4:12bought a lot of real estate. So
  148. 4:14>> uh I've never lost money in a real
  149. 4:15estate deal but I've made mistakes in
  150. 4:17real estate. So
  151. 4:19>> you learned from those.
  152. 4:20>> Uh I crowdfunded. Yeah. Yeah. Well what
  153. 4:22I did was I didn't buy enough real
  154. 4:24estate. That was the number one biggest
  155. 4:25mistake I made. I should have bought
  156. 4:26more real estate in all cycles including
  157. 4:28this one that's going on. Uh but like I
  158. 4:30crowdfunded we crowdfunded a billion
  159. 4:32dollars over the internet. I learned a
  160. 4:33lot by crowdfunding. I didn't know how
  161. 4:35to do it. I didn't even know what it
  162. 4:36was. I didn't know what the term was.
  163. 4:37>> What I'm curious, you said that there's
  164. 4:3978% failure rate out of those drug rehab
  165. 4:42homes. Why did you succeed when most
  166. 4:44people don't? Like what was it?
  167. 4:46>> I can't pinpoint like whatever other
  168. 4:48problem.
  169. 4:48>> It's a characteristic trait or something
  170. 4:49that you
  171. 4:50>> I think what I did was I when I got
  172. 4:51home, that's what I'm saying. Other than
  173. 4:53God, you know, having something to do
  174. 4:55with it. Um when I came home, I got rid
  175. 5:00of all my friends. I didn't go back to
  176. 5:02the places that I went to. I got rid of
  177. 5:04my girlfriend. She was still a drug
  178. 5:06addict. Uh I went to three meetings
  179. 5:08every every day. Every single day in the
  180. 5:10morning, at noon, and at night, I went
  181. 5:12to a meeting. I I was either working on
  182. 5:14my work or I was working on helping
  183. 5:16somebody else. And I did that for five
  184. 5:18years. Every single day.
  185. 5:19>> How did you get into drugs? Where did
  186. 5:22that start? What did someone introduce
  187. 5:23you?
  188. 5:24>> Yeah, I was 15 or 16 years, almost 16
  189. 5:26years old. And my dad had died six years
  190. 5:28earlier. So, I was already starting to
  191. 5:30have problems because I was drifting and
  192. 5:32school was very slow for me. My uncle's
  193. 5:34I was hoping somebody would come and
  194. 5:36mentor me.
  195. 5:37>> Mhm.
  196. 5:37>> And um it's probably why I give so much
  197. 5:40time away today except Alex,
  198. 5:43you know. Uh but I did give him time,
  199. 5:45right? So, so um
  200. 5:48>> we I had three uncles and I'm like,
  201. 5:49"Okay, I know those guys are going to
  202. 5:50step in and help me." They were busy.
  203. 5:52They got their own lives and nobody
  204. 5:54stepped in. And then and I was 16 years
  205. 5:56old and a drug dealer stepped in and
  206. 5:57said, "Hey, I'll help you. I'll give you
  207. 5:58attention. This is what you need to
  208. 6:00learn and the next thing you know I'll
  209. 6:01go down the drug road. Man, it was
  210. 6:03nasty. So for like nine nine and a half
  211. 6:05years I just went south
  212. 6:08>> and didn't plan on doing that.
  213. 6:10>> Yeah.
  214. 6:10>> You know,
  215. 6:10>> did it start with like one drug and then
  216. 6:12lead to like weed started with weed.
  217. 6:14>> So weed weed is a gateway drug
  218. 6:17>> one. I 100% agreeous.
  219. 6:19>> I agree. And people in high school, in
  220. 6:21middle school, they used to clown on it
  221. 6:22and be like, "No, weed not weed's not a
  222. 6:24gateway drug. You're not just going to
  223. 6:24go from weed to cocaine." It's like, no,
  224. 6:26it 100% is a gateway drug. You say it
  225. 6:29isn't, you will be proven dead wrong and
  226. 6:31it's going to be sad.
  227. 6:32>> Dude, alcohol is a gateway drug. If
  228. 6:34you're around people that have drugs,
  229. 6:36>> any mindaltering anything is a gateway.
  230. 6:39>> Anything that compromises your ability
  231. 6:40to make good decisions,
  232. 6:42>> you know, the moment you're like, okay,
  233. 6:43maybe it's not that big a deal.
  234. 6:45>> I mean, it doesn't it didn't matter.
  235. 6:46Like people are like, hey, what was your
  236. 6:48drug of choice? What what what drug do
  237. 6:49you have?
  238. 6:50>> That's the drug of choice at this
  239. 6:52moment. Like it didn't
  240. 6:53>> did it ever concern you at that point
  241. 6:54for like health or like this could kill
  242. 6:57me or was it just like
  243. 6:59>> it wasn't my health. It was like
  244. 7:01>> I wasn't thinking about okay this is bad
  245. 7:03for my lungs or bad for my brain. I was
  246. 7:06like I couldn't quit. Okay. Literally I
  247. 7:09started 16 and within a year I am using
  248. 7:13some kind of drug every day.
  249. 7:16what flip what flips with flips which
  250. 7:19also you know you walk into this new
  251. 7:21environment of people and that's what
  252. 7:22they're doing you know and I I was
  253. 7:23surrounded we talk you I know you guys
  254. 7:25talk a lot about your environment who
  255. 7:27you hanging around who you spend time
  256. 7:28with and I had so much free time as a
  257. 7:30kid you know different than today I
  258. 7:33finished that event up the street you
  259. 7:35guys I jump in your car I come over here
  260. 7:37I can't get in trouble today right
  261. 7:38>> you know I'm too busy to get in trouble
  262. 7:41>> how were you affording the drug habit
  263. 7:43back then because that seems expensive
  264. 7:46like every day. That's what 20 20 bucks.
  265. 7:48>> Well, what every every drug uh drug uh
  266. 7:51drug addict does is they they buy enough
  267. 7:53to use themselves and then they their
  268. 7:56friends get drugs. You're not using
  269. 7:57drugs by yourself. I mean, I wasn't
  270. 7:59Whitney Houston.
  271. 7:59>> So, you're kind of selling them as well
  272. 8:00on the side.
  273. 8:01>> You're just trading drugs back and forth
  274. 8:03to people, you know? You you nobody's
  275. 8:05really selling anything. It's
  276. 8:06>> it's just everybody's,
  277. 8:09>> you know, like me coming here today. How
  278. 8:11do you get on YouTube? How do you get on
  279. 8:13YouTube? You guys trade favors between
  280. 8:14one another until you have enough guests
  281. 8:16to have some content.
