1:58education i have a bachelor's of science
2:01in nursing
2:01from ucf back in 2011.
2:06and that's my highest level okay what
2:09what is there any special
2:10uh nursing degree what you do or uh i
2:13mean i have like other certifications
2:15um but uh i mean with that like i
2:18primarily worked in the hospital
2:20for i think five years five or six years
2:24and then i was pursuing a master's of
2:26science and nurse anesthesia
2:28that was back in 2015 i believe
2:33but then i didn't complete that and then
2:34i just went back to nursing and then
2:36when this whole
2:38like wrongful accusation of the grand
2:40theft charge that i told you about in
2:42the car
2:42when that happened uh i stopped working
2:45at the hospital and then that took place
2:47i don't think
2:47we oh i don't think we talked about that
2:50oh well i had
2:51i was accused of grand theft of the
2:52third degree back in
2:54[Music]
2:56june of 2018. um
2:59that like went on for six months and
3:02during that time obviously obviously
3:03wasn't allowed to work
3:04because of it um and then where was that
3:07florida hospital south the main one down
3:09in orlando
3:11uh rollins that's where it is
3:15okay um so when that happened obviously
3:18i was
3:20dismissed from that job and i couldn't
3:21get another job because now you have an
3:23outstanding felony charge on your name
3:24sure
3:25um so then i got the attorney it all
3:27went through and then finally in
3:28december
3:30they posted on the orange county clerk
3:33courts or whatever website where your
3:34where your file is that there was no
3:36evidence ever
3:37ever presented all the charges were
3:38dropped and now i'm just in the process
3:40of expunging that from my records
3:42but um
3:45because you know i can't keep just not
3:47working forever
3:49um you know that was that was kind of a
3:52topic around the house was you know i
3:54need to get started here
3:55right um who is your turning fork for
3:57that uh lauren likam chapman
3:59chapman law group okay they're i think
4:02that one's based in sarasota
4:04okay um
4:07so that they didn't really have to do
4:08anything no she didn't turn into jolly
4:10charges
4:10state attorney didn't file anything and
4:12then she just presented that she was
4:14going to be my attorney and that was the
4:15most work she ever had to do okay
4:17um and then
4:21i've been applying for jobs for the last
4:22couple weeks
4:24i've gotten uh like three or four
4:25callbacks um and then i went on a job
4:28interview yesterday
4:29for a home infusion nurse job where
4:32was that at um that was with
4:35uh
4:38a creta a credo is that like a
4:42staffing or is that a like a like a head
4:45hunter had a job
4:47no that's uh that's like their actual
4:48company it's uh why can i not remember
4:51the first name
4:51it's something scripts team scripts
4:57where's the location uh it's out close
5:00to the airport it's on lee vista
5:05what time was your interview yesterday
5:06uh it was scheduled for ten
5:08i got there around nine in the morning
5:10uh
5:11and then i think we actually had the
5:12interview at about 9 45. how'd that go
5:14i mean it was all good uh they didn't
5:16have anything they said that they'd
5:17probably be getting back to me by
5:19tuesday or thursday
5:20this coming week get you back to work
5:21yeah yeah because
5:23i mean it's like it's crappy world when
5:26you know you don't have any money you
5:28can't
5:28do anything so financially how's the the
5:31nursing what you did i'm sorry i just
5:33don't know that much
5:34she knows all about understanding the
5:35nursing how does it pay how does it pay
5:37um i mean if you work your standard
5:39three to three 12 hours a week you get
5:40anywhere between
5:41i'd say 45 and 55 000 a year so i mean
5:44it's not bad
5:46um obviously if you work overtime like
5:48some of the nurses who have also been
5:50nurses for a long time
5:52uh i mean they can make six figures if
5:54if you work five what was your best way
5:56this year i think my best year i made
5:58like fifty five thousand
6:00because i rarely worked overtime right
6:01you know when i was just because i i had
6:03the whole plan of going to uh to
6:05graduate school
6:06so i was just kind of using it as a
6:07stepping stone right right just to pay
6:08the bills
6:10gotcha that's what you're going for
6:13what does that pay nurse anesthesia pays
6:16i mean base like about 150 up to 175
6:20you're working with overtime you can
6:22cusp 200 but then you know so what would
6:24you actually be doing
6:25if i could do anything no i mean with
6:27that job that and
6:28nursing is right what would you do oh
6:31yeah
6:32thank you thank you uh you just be
6:34you're the you're in the or
6:36you put the patients to sleep keep them
6:37alive during surgery wake them up
6:39send them off to them i thought that was
6:40a doctor that did that in florida
6:43in florida the anesthesiologist which is
6:46the md
6:47equivalent if you will they have to come
6:49in at the start of surgery they have to
6:51induce the patient to put them to sleep
6:53and then as long as they're comfortable
6:54with you the surgeon's comfortable with
6:55you
6:56then the anesthesiologist leaves and
6:58then you take care of the whole entire
6:59surgery overseas
7:00right okay and then again you know by
7:03the time you're a crna
7:05you're obviously confident enough to
7:06wake the patient up so
7:08when i was a student though the
7:09anesthesiologist would sometimes come
7:11back in for wake up to make sure
7:12everything's okay
7:14and then you take them to the uh [ __ ] or
7:16the post-op
7:17area drop them off you get the nurse
7:19report and then you go into your next
7:20case
7:21okay um high school where'd you go
7:25i went to timber creek high school on
7:28avalon
7:28okay and graduate what year uh 2007.
7:32okay and then did you go right to ucf
7:34and start your
7:35degree summer summer yeah okay
7:38what kind of grades you make how are you
7:40great um
7:41high school and the first two years of
7:43college i was
7:45abc um you know i was in
7:49honors in the major program for ucf
7:53and then my final two years when i was
7:55getting my my bsn
7:57i made a's and b's and then i had one
7:59slip up in my final semester where i had
8:01to
8:02redo a class and then i ended up
8:05graduating
8:05in august that's what year 2011.
8:09okay and did you start work right after
8:12that
8:14yeah i think like a couple months after
8:17where uh i went i first worked on the
8:19intermediate critical care
8:21unit at ormc in downtown okay
8:25and then went from where up to rollins
8:27at some point
8:28then i went to um i worked in the icc
8:32there
8:32at that hospital and then i worked in
8:33the multi system icu at that hospital
8:36uh and then i applied for the graduate
8:38school
8:39in december or i i started going in
8:42january
8:43of 2014
8:51that was at very university i think okay
8:54um girlfriends girlfriends
8:58i had like my high school sweetheart
9:01uh girlfriend um for about five years
9:05and then ever since then no like
9:06official girlfriends no flings or
9:08anything like that
9:09here and there dates occasionally but i
9:12mean not really kind of focused on like
9:13just getting
9:14through the life the life goals that you
9:16know i wanted to achieve
9:18and then um you know much of uh school
9:22debt
9:23school i mean not anything from ucf i
9:25have about a hundred thousand dollars
9:27i'd say
9:28from my math when i was going to berry
9:31so that's the only school debt that i
9:33have right now
9:34um it kind of creeped back up when i
9:37wasn't working so i wasn't i had to go
9:38into this
9:39deferred payments or whatever it's going
9:40to get a job
9:42what do you like to do what do i like to
9:44do i like to watch anime
9:46um me and my brother kind of started
9:48doing that back
9:51five years ago i said he kind of got me
9:53into it what is it i'm sorry
9:55oh oh sorry i don't know what it is i
9:57mean i think it's an
9:58mma okay and then then when you start
10:01explaining to it
10:02i mean i heard animated
10:05um it's like cartoons i guess you could
10:09say but it's japanese
10:11cartoons i guess it's the best way to
10:12put it so um
10:14it's not as it's like the the stories
10:17and whatnot and the way
10:18that the shows progress it's not as
10:20childish as cartoons
10:21as you would think like powderpuff girls
10:23and spongebob squarepants and all that
10:25stuff
10:25it's not like that so it's adult-based
10:27it's a doll face yeah you can put it
10:28that way yeah it's a
10:30cover i mean it can cover like flights
10:31of life versus comedies it can get
10:33dramatic
10:34romance all those different where do you
10:36where would one watch this
10:37um you you download it
10:40from the ad and then you can just watch
10:42it at home like on your computer you can
10:43watch it on uh
10:44you can watch it anywhere you have it is
10:46it is it in japanese or
10:48it isn't japanese and then they uh yeah
10:51you speak japanese yes i say do you
10:52understand i don't i understand a few
10:55words we actually just went to uh me my
10:57brother and one of my friends
11:00or i guess friends from high school we
11:02went to japan
11:03in from december 1st to december 15th
11:07oh wow so we went because i mean and it
11:09was anime that kind of inspired us
11:12yeah first time actually who was your
11:13brother who our friend jericho
11:15jericho he uh he's been he was
11:18originally a friend of my brothers back
11:19in high school and then we all have kind
11:21of stayed close
11:22how expensive was that trip um i mean
11:25plane tickets alone were like 1400 bucks
11:28and then i'd say it was probably about
11:3210 grand total for like all those days
11:34for each one of you
11:36yeah wow i mean it was about it was two
11:38weeks so how did you know
11:39that yeah how did how did you spend your
11:42time over there
11:43oh god it was we went to tokyo for the
11:46first four days
11:47and then we stayed there and then we
11:49went to kyoto for two days and then i
11:50cannot remember all the names of the
11:52specific places but then it just stayed
11:54it was like one day stays at rio cons
11:56which are
11:57like guest houses are in um
12:00those food food is great but we were too
12:03scared to actually go into like the
12:04shops
12:05like the just like the side shops
12:07because
12:08all in japanese they all know what
12:10they're doing and
12:11we don't want to like say it wrong or
12:15do whatever like impose so uh we
12:17actually survived a lot
12:19at night on just like um
12:23food that you get from 7-eleven because
12:24over there over there it's called seven
12:26and i
12:27but it's like the 7-eleven symbol so
12:30it's the same exact thing
12:31and it's got way better food than what
12:33like the seven ones that we have here
12:35so we would go back oh yeah yeah we
12:37would go back
12:38yeah we i think we were actually
12:39planning on going back november
12:41of this year how long you been out of
12:44work i've been out of work for
12:45six months since june how did you pay
12:48that's a lot of money for me out of work
12:49my brother oh yeah yeah my brother
12:52what's he doing he's he's the crna
12:55sorry the the certified registered nurse
12:57and that's the point
12:58okay what you were what you what we were
13:00both in the program together
13:01okay and then he was able to finish then
13:03i did not so he was making good money
13:04yeah yeah was he making that 150 100
13:07he was working he was working a lot i
13:10mean i don't know if he was
13:11i think he was cusping a lot of overtime
13:13not scheduled but like
13:15it's just kind of what happened um but
13:17yeah he was moving along
13:18what do you think he made his best year
13:21god he showed me
13:22because he was uh he went he was
13:25complaining about how
13:27like his taxes alone were like the
13:30annual income of like a nurse and i
13:33think when he showed me before like it
13:35all
13:35ended like the uh before his pay year
13:38had ended
13:40that he was already up to like 166 but
13:43that was
13:43like after i think the 60 000 or 40 000
13:46already came out i can't remember that
13:48was after it yeah
13:50i think so so he made more than 160 that
13:52was taken
13:53yeah wow so we definitely we definitely
13:57picked the wrong time i should have
13:58stayed in nursing
13:58yeah so he just paid for your trip to go
14:02since you're both into this
14:03right yeah yeah okay um
14:07jericho what's he do uh he
14:11he's got just a high school diploma so
14:13he
14:14i think for the majority of the past
14:16year he was working as one of those um
14:19what are they called they're like the
14:21people that watch the security cams when
14:22you go into like a gap
14:24or something like that he's like lost
14:26revenge and that's good correct
14:28how'd he pay for all that i i mean i
14:30guess he just saved
14:31uh brother didn't have to pay for him no
14:33no no yeah he he like covered
14:35maybe some like daily expenses if there
14:36was like a taxi or
14:38something right how long did you guys
14:39plan this prior
14:42yeah i mean it had been a dream of ours
14:45to go for
14:46a couple years and then we really
14:48started planning
14:49probably just the year before like
14:51actually like putting the money aside
14:52getting all the
14:53reservations and whatnot scheduled like
14:55a dream trip to go
14:57jobs this is for that anime you know
14:59what i mean it was the inspiration
15:01when we went there though we just kind
15:03of took up all the culture because
15:05through the anime you kind of see little
15:07glimpses of what the culture is actually
15:08like
15:09so then we just want to kind of
15:10experience all that so it's a good time
15:12definitely worth going back for
15:13definitely um
15:16hobbies what do you like to do okay so
15:19besides the anime
15:20um besides that we
15:23would play video games we actually just
15:25got like a
15:26virtual reality headset thingy for like
15:29the computer
15:31um that was kind of fun what kind of
15:33games you play
15:35oh god back in the day we played call of
15:38duty a lot like back in the day
15:40and then we got out of that so just
15:42starting to get to like which system is
15:44playstation oh playstation then we went
15:46to xbox because that was like
15:48what a couple of our friends had and
15:50then we went back to playstation and
15:51then me and my brother got into pc
15:53gaming
15:54we're on that we just play like mobas
15:55which are like strategy
15:57type games rpg type games so i've gotta
16:00ask that you're in these games
16:02did you hack did i hack you guys did you
16:05and your brother had
16:06games with
16:16[Music]
16:20but uh i mean we would use like um
16:23like glitches or something like that
16:25when we would play on the pc
16:27where you could like have no recoil or
16:29you know
16:30it would like auto aim or something like
16:32that
16:33so so yes is but we didn't we didn't
16:37hack other people's accounts
16:40i've seen people in the middle of an
16:41xbox game
16:43they'll tell you that they'll find
16:44somebody that's cheating and they'll
16:46you'll see this big hand come in and
16:47grab them
16:48they say come over here against this
16:49section of the game and the guy's
16:51splattered against the wall
16:52and they just stand there and they shoot
16:53him he dies and he comes right back
16:55there oh
16:55you're not one of those guys all right
16:58all right all right fortunately there's
16:59no question i have a big problem because
17:00you've probably got me before
17:02so you guys play a lot of the pc games
17:05yeah we
17:05started getting into pc games primarily
17:07we kind of i haven't turned on my
17:09playstation in months
17:11um i think the only other game that we
17:12really played was fortnight but then
17:14that was starting to get to
17:15like a big deal right
17:20during the time that i was um that i
17:22wasn't working as a nurse
17:24i tried to do the whole twitch streaming
17:26thing what is that
17:27um i'm sorry yeah we have to explain a
17:31lot of this to us with uh with twitch
17:32it's you got your mic and then you have
17:34your face cam and then
17:36basically people are just watching you
17:37play whatever game you're gonna say that
17:39you're playing
17:39okay and then you know they can donate
17:41they can subscribe to you which then you
17:42get like a monthly
17:44payment um or anybody doing that for you
17:47i had like a i think i was up to like 30
17:49something subscribers
17:50and what what would you charge them on
17:52uh with
17:53with subscriptions there's four tiers of
17:56it uh tier one is just five dollars
17:58so right when you see that you oh blank
18:00subscribe to you get five dollars
18:02uh monthly or just total actually it's
18:04every twitch page you're every 45 days
18:06because you're like an independent
18:08self-employed people say
18:09with their account though they subscribe
18:10to you would be for a 30-day period
18:13yeah so every 30 days they owe you
18:15another five bucks if they
18:16re-subscribe so then there was that uh
18:19tier two was like ten dollars two or
18:21three was fifteen then if
18:22somebody tier four it was 24 i think and
18:25what does that get you for
18:26all all the higher tiers do is they give
18:28you like more emotes
18:30like little things you can put in chat
18:32so when you're playing everybody who's
18:33in your room can chat
18:35about you know what you're doing or you
18:36know anything random um
18:39and then donations are just can
18:46nothing really significant it was like
18:48so you had you said about 30 people at
18:50one time
18:50yeah subscribed to you so minimum what
18:54then a few 155 uh
18:58but primarily i guess just keeping
18:59myself busy right doing something
19:01there's a lot of money in there are
19:02these are these adult students or kids
19:05they're they're in their early 20s
19:07there's
19:09thousands and thousands of streamers uh
19:12who do that on twitch but there's maybe
19:13like
19:14five that make six figures and then
19:18like the two most prominent ones are
19:19ninja and tim the tatman
19:21and they both play fortnite uh like
19:24ninja i think makes
19:26300 grand a month from just 300 grand
19:30yeah and where's he in like where does
19:32he live
19:33no you us japan somewhere oh yeah he's
19:36us
19:36i think he lives up by chicago or
19:38something like that and but he's only
19:40he's only 24. no oblivious to all this
19:42computer stuff
19:43no yeah we got atari when i was younger
19:45that's hard yeah that's nice retro
19:47gaming
19:50pong yes first so you do that
19:53and so you got a lot of computer
19:56knowledge
19:57a good amount you know i mean oh more
19:59than the average person yeah yeah i'm
20:01i'm computer savvy yeah
20:02you have a computer home good computer i
20:04have a yeah i have a gaming pc up in my
20:06room
20:07um and then there's another gaming pc
20:10downstairs that we just built
20:12uh for the vr specifically you guys
20:14build it yeah
20:16and then uh but i mean yeah if you like
20:17my gaming pc like we would buy all the
20:19parts and then we would put it together
20:21our own way what would this one cost you
20:23when i built mine it was
20:25about three grand and then the gaming
20:28one downstairs i think was
20:314 000 or like 4 hundred and that's
20:33basically used for
20:34the vr stuff yeah yeah yeah that was
20:37pretty neat
20:38yeah yeah that was a lot of fun yeah
20:39that was cool getting into the position
20:42on virtual reality it was primarily just
20:44beat saber so it's like a rhythm based
20:47game like guitar hero
20:48like a rock rocksmith or rock band
20:51whatever it was
20:52um and then you just use the virtual
20:54reality wands to hit the the cubes in a
20:56certain way however the song beats going
20:59and then yeah
21:02yeah apart from that uh we really didn't
21:05get into too many other games yes we
21:07were kind of just focused on beat saber
21:09but i think we had downloaded a few
21:10other words just like
21:13you're going through like a world and
21:14you can interact with the world or
21:16something like that
21:17what other hobbies yes besides that um
21:21a number of years ago like me and my
21:23brother were actually
21:24uh like gun enthusiasts and you know we
21:27got
21:29we did it wrong where we did it all
21:30during when the the the season was like
21:33high
21:33so everything cost so much money yeah i
21:36guess so
21:37for unfortunately we don't we don't hunt
21:39or anything like that but um
21:41we would go like clay shooting um
21:45then primarily primarily the place we
21:47went to is uh
21:48quail creek plantation where's that
21:52like i was telling you the car i don't
21:53remember the is it local or is it it's
21:55like
21:56an hour and a half away from here you
21:57know what county it's in our city
21:59um creek plantation the only place i
22:01know gun range i really know i mean that
22:03you do
22:03stuff like that is out in geneva there's
22:05one in geneva right
22:06yeah i think there's one out there i
22:08mean that might be where it is but i
22:10don't remember the city specifically
22:12but we would do the clay shooting and
22:13then we were part of the volus county
22:16gun and shooting i love ourselves yeah
22:18whatever
22:19but that was like two years ago um the
22:22only thing that we really kept up with
22:23was clay shooting
22:25um but even that i don't think we've
22:26done that for like eight months or
22:28something what were you shooting
22:29what were you what what was your gun for
22:30that would you like uh me and my brother
22:32both
22:33got the benelli uh like long
22:36superno super magnum super
22:41uh we both had those and then during the
22:45time where
22:45like i was struggling like in the last
22:47six months i mean i sold all of my guns
22:49what did you have what did i get a
22:51little gun collection going i did i had
22:53um
22:54i had about four ars uh they were all
22:57just
22:58where you would buy like the different
22:59parts again kind of like with the pc and
23:00then just put them all together
23:02because i'm not going like that why so
23:04many hours
23:06i mean again it was we were just like an
23:07enthusiast for wanting to build our own
23:09things and just kind of seeing
23:10what we will you build stuff you might
23:12have already made we would buy the
23:14specific parts and then have them sent
23:16to the
23:17gun clubs or whatever so that you could
23:18pick them up um and then yeah and then
23:20we put them all together you put them
23:21you guys build them yourself
23:22and have them do it for you no no no we
23:24had four yards what'd you have
23:26um besides that i had uh benally on four
23:30uh shot shotgun tackle tactical shotgun
23:33one's in that form that was just that
23:36was like our space that was just our
23:38what gun that like me and my brother
23:39both had one of those
23:41yeah and then we had um
23:44that had always just been our dream gun
23:45that we just wanted to have with them a
23:47tactical
23:48m4 we took it to the range a couple of
23:50times just making it
23:51like i've got an m1 oh nice yeah but the
23:54m4 is much nicer yeah
23:56um and then we have the supernovas which
23:58we just use for clay shooting
24:00and then uh pistols wise
24:06i had i think four or five just pistols
24:11i had a glock 17
24:14i believe it was um i had uh
24:22it's not the shield
24:25it's a smith wesson m9 something
24:28i don't remember what it is uh and then
24:30i had a
24:32taurus which was i think like a 40
24:36cal 45 caliber and then i had uh
24:39again it's like the dream gun that i
24:41always wanted was the uh
24:44the fn tactical 45
24:48looks like threaded barrel and all that
24:49stuff um tv again
24:51yeah exactly no no no suppressors or
24:54anything like that because again during
24:55that time it's like to get your stamp
24:57alone would take six months and then you
24:58gotta wait
25:00however long to get that back so we
25:02never got we never got that deep into it
25:04um still have them all or you said you
25:06got rid of some of them i sold all my
25:08guests
25:09which sums it up uh the florida gun
25:12exchange the what
25:14florida gun exchange it's down in
25:18uh they have one and god i am just it's
25:21some
25:21ormond beach beach that's the one you
25:23took them over and sold them
25:24yes tell them all at one time or no no
25:26just kind of because i didn't want to go
25:28in with too many
25:29yeah then i felt like they didn't look
25:30at you like who's this guy with all
25:32these guns yeah or they would
25:33they would like cut me a lower deal
25:35because i've given them like a whole
25:37bunch
25:37what'd you get for the rs ars
25:39unfortunately like it wasn't that much
25:41it was only like
25:43three grand or something like that
25:44wasn't all of them yeah just because
25:45they're how much you spend on anything
25:47way more like at least double because
25:50again we bought them during the height
25:51of the season
25:52and then i'm selling apparently where
25:54it's like not a good season to sell
25:56and they told me that if they're not
25:58just
25:59like like companies that i can't even
26:02think of one like companies that make
26:03their own and they're just like a fool
26:05like this whole gun is all by this
26:07company or whatever
26:08those apparently sell for more than like
26:10a custom one
26:12because some people might not like what
26:13i put on it you know
26:15so um i think that's why i probably
26:17didn't know about the hand guys would
26:18you even know
26:20hand guns was maybe like total was like
26:23fifteen hundred dollars or something
26:24like that a lot more than those and the
26:26fn alone was sixteen hundred dollars

26:36new we were together what would you get

26:39for the m4 that one was like the highest
26:41one i think they gave me like 1100 for
26:43it
26:44about 15.
26:47um and then for the supernova
26:50it was only about 700 but that one cost
26:52about 1200 dollars
26:53and that one i think we actually had to
26:56get from gander mountain
26:57um way back when because you have any of
26:59these left anything or
27:01you keep anything for yourself no no i
27:03ended up
27:04got i was just trying to get
27:08some semblance of money in um keep up
27:10with your payments
27:11keep up with my payments but also
27:13because like the the whole trip was
27:14coming down the line
27:16um you know my brother had to like foot
27:19the bill for
27:20the to get the attorney um so you know
27:23it's like
27:23there was a lot of stuff wasn't taking
27:24attorney you know i think it was eight
27:26thousand dollars for the
27:28holding holding the attorney right hater
27:30retainer retainership
27:31and basically she had to do nothing she
27:33had to do nothing and
27:35um he got like annoyed because
27:39he like he apparently wasn't told that
27:42it was non-refundable
27:43but i right like i know that i told him
27:46because like i had to send in the
27:47documents signing and saying this is not
27:48refundable
27:49i've noticed any attorney that takes a
27:51retainer that ever gives you anything
27:52back
27:53yeah so i didn't hire me that's what
27:55it's gonna cost yeah i didn't
27:56he didn't get anything back from that
27:57unfortunately and she ended up
27:59i think only going through about 3 000
28:01of it
28:03so because what was it i think 5 000 was
28:07for the criminal
28:08case and then 3 000 was for the other
28:10case if it had to go to the department
28:11of health
28:12which that never had to happen so that
28:143000 is just so you're nursing
28:16it's so good uh free clearing act it's
28:18always been clear and active it's just
28:20the quintessential you go to that
28:22background check and then they'll see
28:23an outstanding thing even though i have
28:25the paperwork now
28:27saying everything's been dropped he's in
28:30the process of expunging his records did
28:31you have to go in front of the board or
28:32anything
28:33no no i didn't have to go before the
28:34judge because when i say
28:36board of nursing i don't know if any of
28:38this that's good
28:39um you know even when even when it all
28:43went down on the day where uh i was
28:45accused of that of that felony
28:48you know the uh the cops came in and
28:50then they handcuffed me and they were
28:51like
28:52you know you've been charged with this
28:53we're taking you down to the
28:57it um orange county the orange county
28:59jail area
29:01you know i'd have the picture taken and
29:02stay in the the
29:04sitting area where they process you all
29:07and everything like that and
29:08you know i'm using the phones on the
29:11cord
29:12you know trying to just pass around the
29:14phone i'm surrounded by all these guys
29:16who are talking about you know you're a
29:18real criminal
29:19yeah and the first person i call is my
29:22dad
29:22i mean my brother and what is your
29:26brother's name
29:26cody cody sorry um first person i called
29:30him
29:31and he was at work at the time but he
29:33answered his phone
29:34and i was just like look
29:37i'm freaking out i've been charged with
29:40this
29:40i've been told that my bond is this and
29:43then
29:44he i guess he tells you know whoever was
29:46was working that day with him
29:48i gotta i gotta go so then he uh
29:51he calls my mom he calls my dad
29:54he smooths things over as best as he can
29:56he's just basically saying i'm going to
29:58to pay this um and then i think i was
30:02there for like seven hours or something
30:03even though it was paid within like the
30:05first hour
30:06right it just takes a little time to get
30:07a lot of paperwork instead of booking
30:09in and in the bond process to go through
30:11right now right
30:12so that's dismissed you're out looking
30:15for jobs applying free regular
30:17yeah i mean i yeah yeah i'd say pretty
30:18regular anything left in savings
30:20nothing less than savings i think i had
30:22like three four hundred dollars
30:24uh but this is a brother kind of helping
30:26you through yeah i mean brother was
30:27helping me my dad was covering
30:29um the rent that he called it which is
30:31just like the monthly payment
30:32to for us to help since we all have at
30:34home what was that what was your
30:35favorite
30:36six hundred dollars a month yeah and
30:39then um
30:40it's not a bad deal is it no and then i
30:42mean he was
30:43he was covering like cell phone we were
30:45paying for our own internet
30:47um i imagine for that game concept you
30:50gotta have
30:51better than basic basic internet than
30:53you yeah unfortunately out where we live
30:55it's it's like our street like the
30:58street coming down i think
30:59for christmas before you turn in like
31:02that's the dividing line everything
31:04before you turn into fort christmas all
31:06the nice big fancy houses that are on
31:08that side
31:09they all have spectrum and the gigabyte
31:11connections they have everything
31:12available to them
31:13then right when you come down here where
31:15i guess the older neighborhoods are they
31:16haven't branched out everything so i
31:19think it was just a t
31:21that was providing service and i mean we
31:23have the highest one but it's still
31:24like i think it was 50 megabytes
31:27downloading like 10 megabytes upload so
31:29i mean it's not
31:29that great but it was basically all your
31:31computer systems were underworked
31:33for what yeah their capabilities yeah oh
31:35yeah yeah so i'm sure that virtual
31:37reality takes up a lot of
31:39speed doesn't it yeah yeah um let's see

31:44about coding oh yeah yeah yeah me and
31:46cody he's older you were him
31:48he is i'm the youngest one i'm 29 he's
31:5031. my oldest brother jason is 35 or 36
31:53now
31:54um who who lives at home
31:57all three boys no no it's just me and
31:59cody and then mom and dad
32:00okay uh tell me about talk about cody
32:03cody
32:04let's see uh me and cody had the
32:06quintessential
32:08rough like fighting each other and
32:10whatnot when we were yeah
32:12typical but then i would say like my
32:15junior year of high school
32:17we were on the weightlifting team
32:18together uh that's where i got to know a
32:20lot of like his guy friends
32:22um and you know we just
32:26we stopped like arguing at that point
32:28and then
32:29we all you know we decided to go to
32:30nursing school together we decided to go
32:32to the
32:33nurse anesthesia school together um
32:36i mean we did everything together i mean
32:38we were a better student
32:39he was the better student in everything
32:43up through nursing school and then i was
32:45actually the better student in nurse
32:46anesthesia school
32:48but uh there was like a again kind of
32:51like
32:51are you guys are you guys at the same
32:54time
32:54in the same classes yeah so you're
32:58not not for nursing school not for
32:59nursing no i mean for the anesthesia
33:01yeah we sat right next to each other so
33:02you're in there doing things together so
33:04you got something to study with yeah
33:06somebody to work to bounce things off of
33:07them
33:08yeah and we would do that all the time
33:09we're burning the midnight oil but you
33:11were better at it
33:12yeah uh and that was the one time that
33:14he actually admitted that i was
33:16uh didactically more competent than him
33:19in that field
33:20um and then who's better than
33:23weightlifting
33:24he was okay he he broke a number of
33:27school records
33:29uh i think he was like the 129 weight
33:31class that was the 119 weight class
33:33but uh he was he was definitely stronger
33:36than uh
33:36in high school and then um
33:41but yeah uh we were close i mean
33:44i mean like bonded you know um
33:47i don't really know how else to really
33:48say it was a lot of people thought that
33:50it was weird
33:51because we did everything together and
33:53because we were so close but
33:56yeah i mean a lot of people understand
33:58the bond of brother though yeah
33:59the true bond if you're closing and i
34:00mean during like this whole time i mean
34:02kind of like with just a few examples
34:03i've given you he was
34:06he'd take care of everything he's there
34:07for you yeah always there to support you
34:09always there
34:10um fight with you one minute but make
34:12sure that you are not stuck in jail for
34:14some silly
34:14charge right nice and um
34:18yeah i mean he was just he's always been
34:21there for me so
34:23with my oldest brother jason not so much
34:25just because he was
34:26adopted to begin with um and then
34:31he was adopted by who my dad he was my
34:33mom's son
34:35mom married before your dad no no just
34:37hadn't just had him
34:38okay um and then he was heavily
34:41restricted when we were younger
34:43uh for for lying and stuff like that to
34:44her dad
34:46so basically he would like uh he would
34:49go to school and then he'd come home
34:50he'd have to stay in his room
34:52there's like no tv or anything like that
34:54especially
34:5515 years ago or something like that but
34:58um he would come down for dinner and
34:59then he'd go back up and he'd do his
35:01work
35:02on the weekends and whatnot he would
35:03like go out and pick weeds and like do
35:05that stuff and then come in and then do
35:07the same thing
35:07so unfortunately me and cody never
35:10really got to interact with jason
35:12the oldest brother a whole lot but
35:16i mean jason's been like i think he's
35:19one of the most genuine people that
35:20you'd ever meet he's
35:22cody's definitely you're way closer with
35:25yeah yeah live hands down handsome
35:27go on vacations he's helping with bills
35:29helping with with the legal issues right
35:31and i mean studying together
35:33we yeah did everything together
35:34connected at the hip any
35:36issues really with him no like i was
35:39saying during this last six months
35:40it had been a very trying time um
35:44you know financially trying to get the
35:46job thing going
35:47worrying about this whole what's going
35:49to happen with this legal stuff
35:51um but like even through it all i mean
35:55he would like have his moments where he
35:57would get extremely upset
35:59like um like you know he never gets
36:03violent i guess you could say but like
36:05at one point he got
36:07so upset that he like pushed the cabinet
36:09and then it like dented into the wall
36:11um and he i mean so he'll like lose his
36:13temper kind of
36:14my dad but um
36:17yeah i mean at least with me he's always
36:19been
36:21like where he's he's there for me like
36:24whatever it takes regardless of what's
36:26happening i'm going to take care of it
36:28for you
36:29um and i mean over like the last
36:33six months i mean it it's it's been sad
36:36for me
36:37because like i see everything that like
36:41he's doing
36:41and like i can't be like how i've always
36:44been with him
36:45where you know i'm i'm helping out too
36:48or i can do something for you
36:50right you know where we're kind of on
36:51the same playing field
36:53i know that you make more money than me
36:54and all that kind of stuff but it's like
36:57you know we can do the stuff together
36:58you don't have to pay for my dinner you
36:59know when we go out with the guys you
37:00don't have to
37:01pay for the trip you know it's just so
37:04you know
37:04i couldn't help relieving stress i guess
37:06as well as i always used to
37:08and felt about the camaraderie yeah you
37:10got your brother to go do stuff with
37:12right
37:12but then i mean i know for me i had been
37:14bummed out just because like i've been
37:16out of work i've
37:17you know my whole life it's been school
37:20work
37:20school back to work and then just
37:24i mean that's it you know sacrificed all
37:26my 20s and everyone tailgating or
37:27anything like that
37:29do you have any issues with depression
37:30over all the legal issues and beyond
37:33i would say that i was depressed but um
37:36you know i'd always put on put on the
37:38happy face for like my brother
37:40and how would you deal with this person
37:42you know i
37:43i talk to god uh i try and just
37:46rationalize it in my head that you know
37:49i haven't heard anything from this
37:50attorney in five months six months i
37:53mean you'd think that if it was
37:54something so severe that you would hurt
37:56about it by now
37:57um so i was just trying to rationalize
37:59to myself that
38:02hopefully this can all get taken care of
38:03and then i can get back
38:05i was looking towards the future you
38:06know like then i can do like what i'm
38:08doing now where applying
38:11you know everybody likes me when they
38:13talk to me and they look at my resume
38:14and they see all my experience and then
38:16just waiting for if i get the call back
38:18well you you know
38:19of course i'm sure you know this you've
38:21got that little blemish
38:22yeah over no fault of yours it goes away
38:25but still it's there they can see it
38:26right and then you have to explain away
38:28right here even though
38:31it was dropped you still have that that
38:33little check mark that they
38:34you've got to get by right and then
38:36that's stuff that to be
38:37go from what you were and you're working
38:39towards you know the job
38:40your brother has right and you know the
38:43financial gains
38:44the difference between nursing the
38:46program you're going to it's it's it's a
38:47huge
38:48burden on your course yeah medications
38:50for the depression
38:51no no never i never took any uh even
38:53test medicate
38:54no i never took any antidepressants or
38:56anything like that i think um the only
38:58thing
38:59just because like sleeping was kind of
39:00off and on at a time i would take like
39:03um
39:04um like benadryl just like help me go to
39:06sleep back at home and then
39:08when um i think the only other thing
39:12is like sleep aid which is again it's
39:14just different hydramine
39:16you know secondary side effect is just
39:18droughtiness it's not like it's actual
39:19purpose
39:20and then melatonin just to help with the
39:22sleep cycle because
39:24i work nights all the time so i was
39:26always a night owl always awake and then
39:27now
39:28it's like trying to get back into trying
39:30to because yeah i'd be going to days
39:32um but that's the only thing i ever took
39:34and then advil ibuprofen
39:35for like headaches but no
39:37antidepressants no medical history none
39:39of that type of stuff but you and cody
39:41since you've been adults any any
39:42physical fistfights anything
39:44no when we were super young but besides
39:46that no
39:47yeah yeah um so
39:51living at home is who me cody
39:57my mom has uh she's always been the uh
40:02it's kind of like cody she's always been
40:03the one that focused on me
40:07and um she i mean
40:10she she worked at home she uh what she
40:13did
40:14she was god i i do not like uh
40:18something manager like a client manager
40:20for nuanced
40:21transcription company
40:25nuance their major thing is medical
40:27transcription okay so it's just all the
40:29the things that the doctors are saying
40:31while you're in the hospital
40:32and then um well we should make sure
40:34that those all got transcribed
40:36she would who did all the transcriptions
40:39and then she had a couple people
40:41where there's like the managers over
40:43those people that then she would also
40:44take care of
40:45and i think she was in the stage now
40:47where she was kind of branching out to
40:49different
40:50uh countries so she had just gotten like
40:52this canada account i think where she
40:54had to basically do the same thing but
40:55now it's just all she had
40:57a job oh yeah good paying job it sounds
40:58like and yeah yeah absolutely
41:00she only i think she told me that she
41:04completed
41:05high school but if she didn't then she
41:07didn't have a high school diploma or she
41:08did i honestly can't remember
41:10and with that when she first started
41:13doing everything like with my dad and
41:15she was just medical transcriptionist so
41:16she wasn't she's making like 35 000 a
41:18year or something like that
41:20um but now she had worked her way all
41:22the way up
41:23to making about ninety thousand dollars
41:25a year
41:27at this job trust will tell you know
41:29hard work
41:30yeah i'd hear complain and do all that
41:34stuff where was your office at uh
41:37you come down the staircase and then
41:39it's right to the right so it's like
41:40it's got like a potted plant in there
41:42it's got like a bay window
41:44i'll agree with you she
41:54so it's like it's like where like all of
41:56our internet and crap is
41:58like the walls like a home office yeah
42:00okay it was like originally a dining
42:02room but then it was transitioned into
42:03like her office
42:05nice and fussy with mom no i mean were
42:08you the baby you
42:09were truly the family baby for my mom
42:12yeah okay for my mom um all the favorite
42:16yeah and i mean i had been being told
42:18that because
42:19again it's like this last six or seven
42:20months was just like stressful for
42:22everybody
42:22sure and you know countless times
42:26my dad would like come up to me and he'd
42:30make
42:30like me feel like he try and use things
42:33and word things to make me feel guilty
42:35so that
42:36i would you know do everything that i
42:38can like get a job almost like a
42:40motivation
42:41right uh and he he'd tell me time and
42:43time again that you know
42:45you're her favorite i mean she would do
42:47anything for you
42:48and i mean it's like yeah i don't need
42:50to hear that i mean that's not
42:52what would motivate me sure um but no
42:55with mom
42:56i think we yelled at each other a grand
42:58total of like three or four times my
43:00whole life
43:01um i've never like yelled at her
43:05for anything because i mean she's never
43:06done anything wrong she's always been
43:08the one who's
43:09stood by you stood by me but tried you
43:11know even during our early childhood
43:13when
43:14it was really rough with our dad uh
43:18my dad's a leo taipei italian
43:22personality man he's very focused on
43:26his future um he's very focused on
43:30everything that he's sacrificed in his
43:32life
43:33for the better betterment of all of us
43:35um
43:37you know he's always dreamed of going
43:38hiking up in the mountains they have a
43:40property up in tennessee that they built
43:42and i've actually me and cody and jason
43:45have never been up to that house
43:46just because mom and dad hide that from
43:48yes our secret hide away
43:50a little bit no kids alone a little bit
43:52but i mean they have you seen a picture
43:53then oh yeah yeah
43:55um it's nice it's like i think my dad
43:57has emphasized that it's about half the
43:58size of
44:00the house out in juliota where we all
44:02grew up um
44:03but it's i mean super modern it's got
44:06like the brick
44:07layout on the whole thing it's on like
44:10four or six acres or something like that
44:12is this is and where's that
44:14tennessee he's in tennessee and it's um
44:17is this is this something is what a
44:19place like they rent the rental cabin
44:20areas where a lot of touristy
44:22people no no it's very secluded it's uh
44:25god i can why am i so terrible
44:27remembering these things it is
44:32it's like an hour out from gatlinburg
44:37it's very secluded it's like you see a
44:39house like on the satellite thing and
44:41then it's got like acres and acres and
44:43acres of trees and then you might see
44:44like another house right over there
44:46and then off like the back end of their
44:48property they would send us pictures
44:49where it's got like the
44:50the guard rail but it overlooks like a
44:53valley
44:54so um that property had actually been
44:57causing my dad a lot of stress because i
44:59think it's been built for like five or
45:00six years
45:02he only goes up there once every month
45:04once every couple months just to do
45:05maintenance not to like enjoy it
45:07and then every like other month
45:10him and my mom would go up there for
45:12like a week um
45:14but again it's like my mom would always
45:16just be like you know i'm working every
45:17day
45:18like we're doing stuff in the yard we're
45:19clearing this clearing that
45:21they need to enjoy the right and then my
45:23dad apparently there was like this hog
45:24issue
45:25up there that it's been destroying his
45:26lawn you know everything that they're
45:27maintaining
45:29so um you know he's
45:32he was like stressing about all the
45:33money that that's costing him
45:35and um yeah so
45:39so like yeah i guess back to your

45:45always like if there was somebody that i

46:35a cubicle and then he's got the
46:36headphone
46:37on and then if somebody calls in he just
46:39like tells them
46:40what they have to do like pharmacy-wise

46:46want to go to like
46:47the cvs on the side of the road he was
46:50at like
46:51care mark or something like that which
46:52is owned by cvs it's like 650 employees

47:13whatever their whatever they wanted he
47:14liked that job better than being in
47:16the usa no he hated it he he
47:20he tried when uh because he was fired
47:22from oh sorry and then he was
47:25uh like iv home infusion with florida
47:27hospital's
47:28home in fusion group for only about two
47:30or three years
47:32um he was fired from that for being
47:36like i guess to not like soft but like
47:39an [ __ ]
47:40uh because he would like like his
47:43manager or something was just like young
47:45woman and then she was giving him crap
47:47and then he's like
47:48i've been a pharmacist for this many
47:50years like i don't and you're younger
47:51than it's like i don't have to listen to
47:52you you know
47:53so i guess he blew up one day when he
47:54was down at work and then um
47:59because of that he ended up getting
48:00fired and then he was out of work for
48:01about three months
48:03and then he was trying to get back into
48:05the hospital system trying to do home
48:06infusion again

51:25he's just trying to get to that
51:27retirement earmark so that he can
51:29stop because when he goes up to
51:30tennessee he doesn't want to get
51:32recertified in tennessee
51:34and even work part-time like what what
51:36his dad does
51:37um what do you mean what's his dad there
51:39his dad's also a pharmacist
51:41but he originally hired he lived in
51:43florida and then now he lives in south
51:45carolina
51:46and he just works part-time as a
51:48pharmacist but he got the whole
51:49re-certification so he keep doing that
51:51right um dad make good money
51:55uh i think he would tell me that he
51:57makes like between 110 and 120 000
51:59a year it's not bad money so yeah it's
52:01not bad um
52:03well i'm sure his mom you're both happy
52:05to see
52:06you know that both of you going to that
52:07program right you can make more you
52:09always want your child to do better than
52:10you
52:10right and i mean you know that was what
52:12my dad always emphasized when he was
52:14when we were younger
52:16going through grade school and high
52:17school and college
52:20we were heavily restricted but we were
52:22allowed to do
52:23some things like it wasn't like jason's
52:25situation where he was just like
52:27like the door's locked you know you're
52:29staying in there type thing
52:30um and who was that who was who was

52:54overbearing um you know he would
52:57he would like push my mom and like one
53:00instance
53:01you know it was getting to that age
53:03where me and cody were kind of getting
53:04old enough to maybe be able to do
53:06something if she needed our help
53:08and uh i remember her
53:11and my dad were like in their room which
53:13if you go down the stairs it's
53:14right there to the left um we heard our
53:18mom
53:18yell that he's hurting me he's hurting
53:20me and then me and cody run downstairs
53:23and we go into the room and then we're
53:25trying to get our dad off of our mom and
53:26then my dad elbows back and that's why
53:28my nose has
53:29got its little like bridge right there
53:32um but i mean that's like how he was
53:35like spankings with a two by four
53:37um you know like baseball practice it'd
53:40be like
53:41four or five hours and he's hurling the
53:44ball as fast as an adult can
53:46and we're like seventh eighth grade
53:48trying to catch this stuff
53:50um yeah i mean definitely very
53:53overbearing but he would always
53:54rationalize that he's just
53:56trying to like secure our future violent
53:59towards the family
54:00violent towards my mom and towards me
54:03never to kill
54:04and towards jason but never to coding
54:07why
54:08um i mean cody his favorite
54:11yeah i mean three boys yeah and with
54:15that
54:15i mean i could kind of see it but cody
54:18also never really made any mistakes
54:19he did a few things wrong he lied a few
54:21times
54:23you know it cost my dad some money a few
54:24times but
54:26he was never like a repeat offender i
54:27guess you could say whereas me and jason
54:30you know we had that difficulty where
54:32it's like okay we got a c
54:33or we got a d on something and i just
54:35don't want to tell dad about it sure but
54:36then
54:37he would find out and then you know dad
54:40ever abused you
54:41when we were younger um spankings with
54:45like a two by four and then you know
54:48he'd use like
54:49uh i mean it was like a two by four that
54:51was fashioned into a paddle called the
54:53lightning
54:54the lightning rod i think is what it was
54:55called no he he broke it on me
54:58uh i'd be sorry i would probably say
55:00with my dad take it out and burn it
55:02yeah it didn't happen anymore but um
55:05yeah he would um
55:09you know he'd do that and then he'd push
55:10you around like he wouldn't he wouldn't
55:11punch you he wouldn't
55:13bruise you he never slapped me
55:16but i guess i should say the only place
55:18that i ever got bruised is on my butt
55:20from from being spanked can't be little
55:22you he would belittle me when i was
55:24younger
55:24but again since you've been out of work
55:27um
55:33no i mean not really he would just make
55:36me feel bad that
55:39like he would make me feel bad that
55:40cody's doing all this stuff to like
55:43um and you're not and i'm not like i'm
55:45not contributing you're not as not as
55:48valuable maybe right maybe that's not
55:50the way it works but you're you're not
55:52you're not you said contributing enough
55:53to what needs to be done right and then
55:55but nobody knows working better than you
55:57that you want to be out right you want
55:58to have it
55:58i mean the problem i guess was was that
56:01i was
56:02i was always like the jokester the one
56:04that could calm everybody down make
56:06everybody smile if it was a heated
56:07situation i could say a joke or
56:08something and then make everybody
56:10kind of move past it and i was just in
56:13the point where it's like
56:14you know i'm hearing you know all this
56:16stuff from dad i'm seeing how much
56:17cody's helping me
56:19you know mom's stressed out with her job
56:21and
56:22it's like i'm not doing anything and
56:24it's like i'm in that situation where
56:25it's like
56:26i'm not not doing something because i
56:28don't want to i'm held out because i'm
56:30waiting for this whole legal thing to
56:32get taken care of and then for jobs
56:34we've been talking for a while you get
56:36stress related to the bathroom
56:37everything real quick
56:39okay 12 hours a day and working as a
56:41nervous system let me use that
56:46i want to make sure that if you do we
56:48take those breaks and sometimes it's
56:49time to touch your thoughts because you
56:50know i'm just sitting talking talking
56:51talking talking right
56:53thinking about what you're saying um i
56:55want to make sure you got a break
56:56breaks better because this is at the
56:58hospital and oh yeah sure that you want
57:00to know what i'm going to do
57:01with water and stuff i'm not a breakfast
57:02person okay
57:04waters so
57:09was the last time your dad put his hands
57:10on you
57:13uh the last time my dad put his hands on
57:16me
57:17would be
57:21i'd say
57:25kind of the middle of december of
57:282018. what happened it's because
57:31um you know with all the money that had
57:35been getting spent
57:36and i guess just the mix of everything
57:39that i've been saying just kind of
57:40boiling up in him
57:42um and the fact that i was to him
57:45it seemed like i wasn't concerned about
57:48it
57:49so and then plus i was you know i wasn't
57:51acting like myself
57:52with the jovialness and you know all
57:54that kind of stuff um
57:57my father chose to admit me to
58:00like a like a depression or an addiction
58:04clinic or something like that in fort
58:05lauderdale called cornerstone
58:07when was that that was december 22nd
58:11okay until i think uh january 4th
58:15did you agree to go i i didn't but they
58:18said that
58:19you know this was your only who said my
58:21dad
58:22okay and i was in fort lauderdale yes
58:24yeah did your mom agree with it
58:26my mom and my brother both agreed but
58:29it was my dad who was like the iron fist
58:32like this is what's gonna happen like
58:33you know he can
58:34why did he say he needed to go what was
58:36his reasoning because
58:38uh with the way that i was acting he
58:41just
58:42he didn't see that i was doing anything
58:44for like the positive
58:46um you know a lot of it just came back
58:49to money
58:50uh with him uh he would
58:54he would like allow me to to spend money
58:57that he had
58:58uh like with his credit card or
58:59something like that but
59:02it's like then whenever i did it was
59:04like a huge problem
59:06okay so you had one of his credit cards
59:07yeah and what were you buying with it
59:09uh well what i was doing is um
59:12over the past four months or something
59:16like that i've been so
59:17i've been talking to this woman online
59:20uh she's as embarrassing as it is she's
59:23a she's a
59:24she's a cam model a what a cam model
59:26yeah
59:27you guys know uh just like all the
59:30videos yeah
59:31i can't model it's like they they
59:35it's like a virtual girlfriend i guess
59:37you'd say okay like that type of
59:38situation
59:39so a lot of the money went to her okay
59:42where she is
59:43she lives in that's where bulgaria
59:46where's that it's over in europe it's
59:48like outside of germany
59:49okay never been there no okay uh there
59:52wasn't it wasn't master
59:53what would you give her money for um
59:56just for like
59:56the time online with her yeah so it was
59:59just like that type of thing

1:00:03the hour minute
1:00:04okay and how much does it prevent it oh
1:00:06god i think it was like
1:00:09it was like 90 tokens a minute and
1:00:12it's like conversion rate for all of
1:00:14that is
1:00:17like six hundred dollars for
1:00:21like a like five thousand or something
1:00:23tokens or something like that so
1:00:25and then it was four hours a night um
1:00:28so i mean it's i mean that's basically
1:00:30just where all the like the cost went to
1:00:31was
1:00:32you pay real money for the tokens then
1:00:34you use the company's digital currency
1:00:36for
1:00:36that so you do this and when did you
1:00:38beat her i met her
1:00:41um
1:00:45at the beginning of july yeah at the
1:00:48very beginning of july
1:00:50okay and and still talking to her so
1:00:53yeah i mean
1:00:53more just on uh like twitter like just
1:00:56through direct messaging
1:00:57um again cell phone service doesn't work
1:00:59so it's like i can't use the
1:01:01the chatting right how much do you think
1:01:03you spent on this because it's kind of
1:01:05pricey
1:01:06yeah ninety tokens and and
1:01:09five thousand dollars for for how many
1:01:10tokens
1:01:12no no it's uh six hundred dollars for
1:01:14for five thousand for five thousand okay
1:01:16so how much do you think you spent um
1:01:20probably close to
1:01:26like two hundred thousand dollars i'd
1:01:28say
1:01:29two hundred thousand dollars yeah and
1:01:31where'd the money come from
1:01:33money came from me uh my brother
1:01:36and then my dad did they know where the
1:01:39money was going to
1:01:40they didn't know that it was going to uh
1:01:42a cam
1:01:43a cam model i was saying that it was
1:01:45going towards my
1:01:47twitch streaming uh like like
1:01:50yeah like advertising like putting my
1:01:52name out there and that that type of
1:01:53thing
1:01:54but based on what you're telling me only
1:01:56so many people
1:01:57make so much money stitches i think just
1:01:59a few and have you make
1:02:01a bunch of money right so that was like
1:02:03the ultimate goal is to get to that
1:02:04i was hoping that the stars would align
1:02:06and then i would be like one of those
1:02:08people
1:02:08because i was good at the games and i
1:02:10you know i'm a like a
1:02:12funny pleasant person on the camera and
1:02:13that type of thing
1:02:15so um yeah i mean that's
1:02:19so i guess to like bring it all back
1:02:20with why i was brought to cornerstone
1:02:23uh it was a mix of all of those things
1:02:26it's like he felt like
1:02:29you know i um he felt like
1:02:32he needed to be grounded yeah yeah and
1:02:36so then i was there you know i spoke to
1:02:38like the therapists and psychiatrists
1:02:40and all that stuff i didn't need any
1:02:41medications for anything
1:02:43they had analyzed it as this is an
1:02:46isolated event you've been out of work
1:02:47you have this
1:02:49ptsd from the whole getting arrested
1:02:51saying and i mean
1:02:52the last thing on my record was i think
1:02:54a speeding ticket back when i was at ucf
1:02:57and then you know just having all of
1:02:59that stuff going on um
1:03:03but then i didn't they had signed me
1:03:06they had signed me up i think to be
1:03:08there for 60 days
1:03:09but then i was only there until january
1:03:114th so for that
1:03:12my brother cody what was the cost of
1:03:14that you know fifteen thousand
1:03:16it was fifteen thousand dollars and then
1:03:18i think
1:03:19uh when i had gotten back we were going
1:03:22through the process of calling them and
1:03:23seeing if we could get any type of
1:03:24refund
1:03:25and i think they said that he was gonna
1:03:26get refunded three thousand dollars
1:03:28from his fifteen um but i don't care
1:03:31right right but i don't know if that
1:03:33transaction had ever gone through yet
1:03:35so their final diagnosis if he was what
1:03:37that i was fine that
1:03:38didn't need to be there yeah that i was
1:03:40i was fine i told them all about like my
1:03:43living
1:03:43situation and how it had been stressful
1:03:45and then it got better and then now it's
1:03:46just stressful again
1:03:48but they had all just said it was just
1:03:50this isolated situational ptsd from
1:03:52right yeah like once you six months once
1:03:54you can get this legal thing taken care
1:03:56of which
1:03:57i i don't know if i mentioned but when
1:03:59we looked online and we saw that all the
1:04:01charges have been dropped that was on
1:04:02like november
1:04:0330th or 31st the day before we were
1:04:05going to japan
1:04:06so well that was good and everything um
1:04:10i still knew that it was still going to
1:04:12be like on your record until you get it
1:04:14expunged
1:04:15so you know i was still thinking okay at
1:04:18least now i can maybe start applying
1:04:19when we get back from japan
1:04:22um but you know
1:04:26yeah so i mean after you get back
1:04:29you got back on the 15th of the summer
1:04:32of december get back
1:04:36after i thought you said you went on the
1:04:3722nd right number

1:04:42and it was because when i had gotten
1:04:44back my
1:04:45um my mom and dad were you know dealing
1:04:48with a lot of the financial stuff while
1:04:50we were up there
1:04:51and then um when i got back
1:04:54that's where my dad started to get
1:04:56really kind of overbearing and i mean
1:04:58rightfully so i know what i did
1:05:00but it's like with him it was every
1:05:02single day hours a day
1:05:04excuse me hours a day he'd come home
1:05:06from work and then he would just
1:05:08talk to me just about the same exact
1:05:10thing over and over and over and over
1:05:11and over again
1:05:12and did he get heated he would get
1:05:15heated but
1:05:17he no i mean i was you know i i was
1:05:20always the person in the family where
1:05:21like my
1:05:22brother cody would interrupt my dad when
1:05:23he was talking uh my mom
1:05:25would interject and say you can't be
1:05:27saying that or whatever
1:05:29but for me i would just sit there and i
1:05:30would just let my dad talk so he could
1:05:32say everything that he wanted to say
1:05:34and then if i saw that it was something
1:05:35that he wanted me to respond to then i'd
1:05:37respond but i would never be heeded to
1:05:39him
1:05:39sure especially if i felt like i was in
1:05:41the wrong right um
1:05:42too well that you think you were in the
1:05:43role i mean yeah to some extent to some
1:05:46extent you know
1:05:47spending that amount of money it's
1:05:49idiotic to do that you know
1:05:51especially when you're not making 200
1:05:53000 right
1:05:54when was the last time that you and your
1:05:55dad did have you know
1:05:57a heated conversation uh it would be
1:06:01thursday thursday uh because
1:06:05one of his rules was that i wasn't
1:06:07allowed to talk to the woman anymore
1:06:09that i had been talking to um but
1:06:13i guess you could say behind the scenes
1:06:15my mom would let me talk to her
1:06:17through her cell phone using twitter um
1:06:21and you know she would tell me like look
1:06:24you gotta keep it
1:06:25you have to keep it just basic because
1:06:27if you say anything or if you
1:06:30entice anything or do anything like that
1:06:31it might lead her
1:06:33to say something to like my dad or
1:06:37something like that because she's in
1:06:38touch with him
1:06:39because apparently when i was in
1:06:41cornerstone my dad
1:06:43told her because because he had like
1:06:46hacked my computer or something like
1:06:47that and then he found
1:06:48every electronics guy like you and your
1:06:49brother except he's more of that like
1:06:52hacking level like able to do all that
1:06:53stuff
1:06:54so he had found you know um
1:06:58like just the stuff that was related to
1:07:00her and then
1:07:03you know he like he like erased my whole
1:07:05entire computer he put a password on it
1:07:07so it's like
1:07:08even when i came back up until thursday
1:07:09like i wasn't able to go into my own
1:07:11computer to
1:07:12look at anything he's treating you like
1:07:14a small child right and
1:07:16rightfully so i mean spending that
1:07:18amount of i was acting childish i can
1:07:20kind of get it
1:07:21but um so yeah anyways on thursday
1:07:25he apparently found out that i was
1:07:28speaking to her again
1:07:29and when i came back on the 4th
1:07:32me my mom picked me up from the
1:07:34cornerstone place
1:07:36and then me and my mom met my dad at
1:07:38california pizza
1:07:39grill or kitchen in waterford lakes and
1:07:42he had this list
1:07:44front and back on a piece of paper of
1:07:47all the rules
1:07:48this is what's going to happen this is
1:07:49why i'm acting the way that i'm going to
1:07:50act i'm not going to be dad anymore i'm
1:07:52going to be chad
1:07:54and i basically told him
1:07:57that i'm gonna be i'm gonna be present
1:08:00i'm gonna do what i can i'm gonna start
1:08:02trying to get jobs now i told him what
1:08:03my plan was
1:08:05um you know it wasn't really my
1:08:08intention to continue talking to this
1:08:09woman but
1:08:11it just kind of happened um and then
1:08:14because there was like that emotional
1:08:15connection i guess you could say
1:08:17between her and me like i i like you
1:08:20know it felt like
1:08:21like like a relationship you know i
1:08:22didn't want to just stop cold turkey on
1:08:24it
1:08:25um so he had apparently found out
1:08:29and then happy right and one of the
1:08:31stipulations was that he told
1:08:33the dinner was if you speak to this
1:08:36woman again
1:08:37you're out of the house i'm kicking you
1:08:38out you can pack up your [ __ ]
1:08:40and then you're off my property and then
1:08:44because of the way that he used to be he
1:08:46had told me that
1:08:49basically if that happens that if i ever
1:08:52step
1:08:52back onto his property that he would
1:08:54kill me so
1:08:56you know on thursday um
1:09:01that all happened and then i was in the
1:09:03process i was getting all my stuff
1:09:05together i was
1:09:06piecemealing it out to the car and then
1:09:09uh
1:09:10you know i knew interview on friday
1:09:13so i had to get my suit out to my car i
1:09:14was trying to just get all of my
1:09:16necessities as best as i could from you
1:09:18know
1:09:18a lifetime of living inside out and then
1:09:22um um
1:09:26my brother was working that night and i
1:09:28think he was working like one of his
1:09:30long nights but he ended up getting off
1:09:31early
1:09:32and then i had met with my brother
1:09:35before he came home
1:09:36just like in the neighborhood area and
1:09:39then
1:09:40it was just on the uh like the back side
1:09:43of the house like a long i don't
1:09:44remember what that road's called but
1:09:45it's like you take the bend
1:09:47where it has those two blinking lights
1:09:49and then it's just down that road
1:09:50always not for christmas is like before
1:09:54christmas when you still turn the corner
1:09:56i think so
1:09:57i'm not sure i think so well it was yeah

1:10:01down that road um and then
1:10:05i basically brought him up to speed and
1:10:07he had told me that
1:10:08he was going to do whatever time was
1:10:10anything

1:10:22oh that was all the way back on january

1:10:28that was when i had come back from
1:10:30cornerstone and he was giving me the the
1:10:32rules

1:10:36happened with that

1:10:38the street is this past thursday

1:10:41after you and your dad argue
1:10:43after me and my dad had argued and he
1:10:45had told me you know this is
1:10:47how it's going to be and you know all
1:10:48that stuff okay this is at the house
1:10:51this past thursday yeah yeah okay

1:10:54saturday so yeah right yeah past
1:10:56thursday i guess you could still say
1:10:58um so then yeah i
1:11:02spoke with cody he told me about all
1:11:05that he had given me his debit so that
1:11:07because i mean i don't have any money
1:11:09and i don't know where to go you know
1:11:10i've never been out of the house
1:11:12on my own um and then the last thing
1:11:14that i was told was just that you know
1:11:16basically once again that he'll take
1:11:17care of it because this code
1:11:19what time what time is this
1:11:21approximately
1:11:22i'd say a little after
1:11:2610 10 30ish at night thursday night
1:11:29thursday night okay um
1:11:33and then yeah so then after that
1:11:37i just like stayed
1:11:41in that air in the vicinity area
1:11:44for a number of hours and then i had
1:11:47remembered
1:11:48over some of the nights when i would
1:11:49work overnight and then i'd be able to
1:11:50come like get off early
1:11:52that i could that the public's on 50
1:11:55on colonial the one that's by tractor
1:11:58supply
1:11:59yeah that that publix it's like their
1:12:02guest wi-fi is always still active even
1:12:04when the store closes down so i was like
1:12:05okay well i'm going to go there because
1:12:06i have my surface
1:12:08um and i can you know check on my emails
1:12:10i had to pull up the address to my
1:12:13interview because i don't have gps
1:12:15um so then i would like write all that
1:12:16stuff down and then
1:12:18um i was basically just waiting in that
1:12:22parking lot until
1:12:24i had to leave to go to the interview um
1:12:28and then i mean that was the last
1:12:29because again it's like no cell phone
1:12:31service
1:12:32uh i mean email was literally like my
1:12:36only form of communication
1:12:37and then you know yeah i just i didn't
1:12:40have any
1:12:42i didn't you know i was i went to the
1:12:44the doubletree because i was like i
1:12:46can't just stay in my car again all
1:12:47night
1:12:47right how did you pay for that i paid
1:12:50for it with my
1:12:51with my debit card yeah because i think
1:12:53there was like the 400 or 300 and
1:12:55something dollars still left on it
1:12:57okay the doubletree
1:13:03i think i got there around
1:13:08three or four p.m friday friday
1:13:13and then yeah and then i was just i mean
1:13:14i would like go out to my car so i get
1:13:16like bottled water or something like
1:13:17that or if i forgot
1:13:18something you know just like necessity
1:13:20was um
1:13:21and then i was just there the whole
1:13:22night talked to cody talk to mom talk to
1:13:25you no i couldn't talk to anybody cause
1:13:27i didn't have
1:13:28but she had the phone in the room oh
1:13:30yeah i did have this one in the room
1:13:32but anyways no i just i didn't even
1:13:35honestly think about it because i was i
1:13:37was like
1:13:39you know away from a place where i lived
1:13:42for 25 years or something like that i
1:13:44had never
1:13:45you know embarrassing as it is i've
1:13:46never been on my own right
1:13:48the longest period i've ever been away
1:13:49from anybody is two weeks when we were
1:13:51up in japan
1:13:52so i mean yeah but yeah you're brother
1:13:55with yourself
1:13:56right right yeah so yeah yeah yeah but
1:13:59yeah i mean so
1:14:01i guess i was waiting to see what would
1:14:03happen with this job because i was told
1:14:05i'd either be told
1:14:06tuesday or thursday and then
1:14:09maybe i would try an outreach or
1:14:11something like that or the last time
1:14:14um you know when it was like an issue
1:14:16where i didn't have my phone like my
1:14:18brother would email me
1:14:19so i was just thinking okay i mean if
1:14:21anything he knows the situation he'll
1:14:23just email me
1:14:24so i checked my email a few times last
1:14:26night and then i just inevitably was
1:14:27able
1:14:28to to go to sleep um
1:14:31was it thursday night that your dad told
1:14:33you that if you talk to the girl that he
1:14:35would kick you out or was that the
1:14:36conversation on the fourth at california
1:14:38that was on
1:14:39that was yeah on the fourth and then he
1:14:41just went through with it
1:14:42on thursday okay so so thursday
1:14:46you're home all day yes with your mom
1:14:48she works at home correct
1:14:50your dad's at work what's his normal
1:14:51work hours uh he works until
1:14:55i think he had to go in early that day
1:14:57because he had to start like doing
1:14:58overtime or something like that
1:15:00and he normally works so from like five
1:15:03or six in the morning to
1:15:05i think he gets home between like 5 30
1:15:07and 6 at night or something like that
1:15:09what time do you have that day uh he got
1:15:12home at like 5
1:15:1330. 5 30 5 45 one of those two
1:15:16okay um

1:15:36inside and then there's
1:15:38the tv right there okay so he'll
1:15:40normally come in through there
1:15:42and then he'll talk or he'll ask his
1:15:44questions
1:15:45where are you where were you at when he
1:15:46came in i was just in there i was just
1:15:48watching
1:15:48uh in the virtual reality where you said
1:15:50you had that set up right right yeah i
1:15:52was just watching
1:15:53and that's in what room the living room
1:15:54the living room yeah i was just watching
1:15:56youtube at that time just like did i
1:15:59talk to you
1:15:59yeah okay uh and that's where
1:16:03uh because he had
1:16:06i don't know how he found out but he had
1:16:08apparently found out and then
1:16:10saw that letter that i was talking to
1:16:12you're still talking to the woman yeah
1:16:14and then uh he came in and then he asked
1:16:16me
1:16:18in a calmer state i guess you could say
1:16:21like basically the leading question of
1:16:24you know why do you think we're about to
1:16:27have this conversation
1:16:29giving me i guess that opportunity to be
1:16:31honest and truthful to maybe
1:16:33tone it down a little bit i of course
1:16:36did what i always did where
1:16:37i kind of didn't admit to it
1:16:41um and then he he came out and he told
1:16:44me that i've been doing that
1:16:46yeah um yeah
1:16:49and then you know he got
1:16:53just he had kind of reverted back to the
1:16:57way that he was when we were younger
1:16:58where you know he kind of you know
1:17:01pulled me up from the couch
1:17:02and then he was yelling at me to pack my
1:17:04[ __ ] up and just get out of the house
1:17:06that he was the one who had to be the
1:17:07hammer and that you know why am i making
1:17:10him have to go through this
1:17:12and all this other kind of stuff okay so
1:17:15you know basically i had you becoming

1:17:50an office hours like she would get up
1:17:52and do her work all day at a certain
1:17:53time i'm done doing my office work and
1:17:55i'm doing my family stuff not really
1:17:57okay i mean work there all the time
1:17:58right she would i think the
1:18:00the major thing that she would do is she
1:18:02would like cook dinner
1:18:03okay and then after that um she would go
1:18:06back into her office what time was
1:18:07dinner usually generally
1:18:09between like seven like i guess usually
1:18:13around seven
1:18:13seven seven thirty is when we'd usually
1:18:15have dinner most nights you guys already
1:18:17have dinner at night
1:18:17no no i think what was she gonna make
1:18:21i think she was gonna make something
1:18:22with like chicken or something like that
1:18:23stir fry or something like that because
1:18:25cody was working late so she didn't want
1:18:27to make something where because my dad
1:18:28would always buy
1:18:29meals that were for four so he we didn't
1:18:32want to
1:18:32pull out anything where there would be
1:18:34leftovers or something like that
1:18:35so but she hadn't started making it yet
1:18:38i think she was defrosting the chicken
1:18:40that was about what time
1:18:44uh what time i think she took those out
1:18:48like at
1:18:48four or something like that in the
1:18:50afternoon and at this time
1:18:52the argument with dad is at what time
1:18:54the argument with that is like
1:18:56six six thirty or seven thirty yeah okay
1:19:00um do you have your argument you pack
1:19:03yourself
1:19:04i have my argument and then i'm packing
1:19:06my stuff on you know taking
1:19:08it out to the car it took me like a
1:19:09couple hours to get as much as i could
1:19:11just kind of about into there
1:19:12um and then yeah it's like mom's
1:19:16kind of just staying out of it to a
1:19:18certain degree because
1:19:21she knows like how dad can be and then
1:19:24uh yeah i mean
1:19:28you know i was and that's just pretty
1:19:30much where i was just kind of like
1:19:31waiting
1:19:31so you wait outside did anybody call
1:19:33cody and tell him what's going on
1:19:35no no i mean not that i know of okay and
1:19:37how did you know to meet cody down the
1:19:39street
1:19:39it's because um my mom had actually come
1:19:43and told me that you know she again she
1:19:46was trying to bridge the gap
1:19:48and then before i actually physically
1:19:50left
1:19:51i had told my mom that you know i'm
1:19:54going to be
1:19:54close i'm going to be local i'm just
1:19:56going to be like down the street and
1:19:57then
1:19:58you left so i left and then time do you
1:20:00think you laughed about
1:20:01oh god
1:20:06if it's 6 30 the argument started how
1:20:09long do you think before you left i'd
1:20:10say
1:20:11like 9 or 9 30
1:20:15or so and then uh
1:20:20yeah so then
1:20:23i mean yeah that's because

1:20:30like cody had called the house and then
1:20:32my mom picked up
1:20:33and then he was just letting like how we
1:20:36would normally do where like i got offer
1:20:38like he was supposed to work to like 11
1:20:39or something like that
1:20:40but he came home early and then yeah he
1:20:42was able to come home early because of
1:20:43the fight
1:20:44you think i don't i don't i don't know
1:20:47honestly
1:20:47but uh he had i mean like that week even
1:20:50on the days that he was working until
1:20:52three
1:20:52he would come home at like noon or one
1:20:54or something that week so maybe it was
1:20:55just a slow week
1:20:57but apparently that had happened and
1:20:59then my mom was able to
1:21:01to tell him right and then she told me
1:21:05um did
1:21:09cody have the gun affinity you have to
1:21:11he did
1:21:12he liked guns like you did right yeah
1:21:14did he keep any guns on him
1:21:15i think cody had his um
1:21:19he had his carry his pistol okay and
1:21:22then
1:21:23he would normally carry it was like uh
1:21:27uh smith wesson m9
1:21:30shield or armor core core or something
1:21:34okay and um then the only other gun that
1:21:37he had was his
1:21:39clay shooting shotgun okay did your dad
1:21:41carry any guns
1:21:42my dad's my knowledge he has like two
1:21:45sks or something like that
1:21:47and then he has a glock something do you
1:21:50carry glock with you normally
1:21:51normally no no no what else happened
1:21:56what else happened uh then after after
1:21:59after i met with cody then that's where
1:22:02you know i was again just kind of
1:22:03staying around that area
1:22:06and then i just went to to the publix
1:22:07and then to my knowledge i mean i was
1:22:09like
1:22:10that was the last interaction that i had
1:22:11with my the three members of my family
1:22:13was was that
1:22:15um was about what time last time
1:22:18last time you saw your mom was what time
1:22:20approximately last time i saw my mom
1:22:22um i'm just trying to think
1:22:26uh last time that i saw my mom
1:22:31was
1:22:36god when did i say that i met cody when
1:22:39i wrote
1:22:39it time stopped by it was it was like
1:22:4245 minutes before that okay so
1:22:46so when cody called the house you said
1:22:48your mom told him about the argument
1:22:50right he had and you told when you left
1:22:52you said you told your mom you were
1:22:53going to be in the area
1:22:55how then does cody now know where to
1:22:58meet you or
1:22:59if he's going to meet you yes because
1:23:01that's that's when my mom
1:23:02had come out to where i said that i was
1:23:04going to be on that road somewhere
1:23:06and then she was able to do that and
1:23:08then i guess that's how
1:23:10she knew like where i don't know if she
1:23:11talked to cody again or if she was able
1:23:13to do that
1:23:14but then she was able to like pinpoint
1:23:15that area okay
1:23:17so this would have been late at night
1:23:19right eight nine
1:23:20ten o'clock somewhere on that time yeah
1:23:22so dinner was over you guys already had
1:23:24dinner we hadn't had dinner because of
1:23:25the whole argument that was happening

1:23:30past just being in the wrappers over
1:23:32where she would always defrost it

1:23:39contact with everybody since then

1:28:03cody based on what the conversation you
1:28:04have then correct correct
1:28:06and she told him what had happened
1:28:08between you and your dad okay
1:28:10do you think that's why cody left work i

1:28:14i could say because he left work no he
1:28:17never said why he left work but
1:28:19in my mind i was just thinking oh he had
1:28:21been blood off work early like through
1:28:23three times already this week so i was
1:28:25just like 10 15 minutes you talked to

1:28:28uh he drives in 96 or 97 97 honda accord
1:28:32okay yeah um you have a conversation
1:28:36and he leaves to go home right and you
1:28:38leave to go where
1:28:39and then i stay in that general area

1:28:44if anything happens somebody like knows

1:33:20interview was scheduled for 10 in the

1:33:24print out like my resumes and my other
1:33:27things but then i wasn't able to the
1:33:28night before
1:33:29so i had brought my surface thing that i
1:33:31could print it out earlier so i got
1:33:32there at nine
1:33:34uh or like maybe would you pronounce
1:33:36that i actually didn't i mean they said
1:33:38that they couldn't but they already had
1:33:39copies of it so i was able i didn't have
1:33:42to worry about that
1:33:42so you had the interview and it started
1:33:44approximately one time like 9
1:33:4640. i think 40 and went to about one uh
1:33:49i think it was
1:33:50about an hour so like 10 30 10 40 or so
1:33:53they didn't offer your job and said they
1:33:54may have something coming
1:33:56forward it's it seems like promising but
1:33:58then they said that they had one more
1:33:59person interview on
1:34:01tuesday or wednesday of this coming week
1:34:03so but they said that i would hear
1:34:05something from them regardless like twos
1:34:07or three i want to jump back just a
1:34:08second when you left
1:34:09the house right what were you wearing uh
1:34:12when i left the house i was just wearing
1:34:15um like my
1:34:19uh like black pants and then just jeans
1:34:22are just like just like good workout
1:34:23pants kind of the other one
1:34:25no just yeah just like just like workout
1:34:26pants workout
1:34:28and then i um i just had a black shirt
1:34:32on and then uh
1:34:35was i wearing a jacket and i think just
1:34:37like one of my sweaters or jackets
1:34:38or something and you changed where to go

1:34:42in the parking lot at the at the the
1:34:45place i suppose
1:34:46okay you go to the interview let's say
1:34:48you're there until
1:34:49maybe 11 o'clock right approximately
1:34:51where'd you go from there
1:34:53from there um i pretty much just drove
1:34:55around
1:34:56i was thinking of like
1:34:59passing by the house but i i inevitably
1:35:02decided against it
1:35:04and then i was i thought that i had to
1:35:06do like a skills
1:35:08check off for the same exact things and
1:35:10i had switched into into just like
1:35:12scrubs okay um
1:35:14but then that didn't end up needing to
1:35:16be done today or um
1:35:18on the same day and then i was pretty
1:35:20much just driving around i ended up
1:35:22going to
1:35:24water for or i had gone back to the
1:35:26publix area
1:35:27at one point um because i wanted to see
1:35:30if i
1:35:31could um get my
1:35:34phone service back um but then i was
1:35:37told that i'm not like a registered user
1:35:39did you go to a phone store somewhere
1:35:41yeah which one the verizon the verizon
1:35:43which is right there
1:35:44in the same place and the in the um
1:35:47public spider
1:35:48right it's like tracker part of the
1:35:49flight it's right next to the zaxby's
1:35:51it's where the family dentistry oh yeah
1:35:54they built a new building up there right
1:35:55it's like like a little little strip
1:35:56uh four or five store there yeah okay no
1:35:58exactly where you're trying to go to
1:36:00corner lakes middle school right
1:36:01okay so i'm going to talk to somebody
1:36:03yeah i tried to get my phone service
1:36:05back and that's not a girl
1:36:06it was a guy what is it like um he was a
1:36:10young guy like
1:36:11maybe in his early 20s he had black hair
1:36:14i think he had like a goatee
1:36:17um what time was that approximately
1:36:20uh i think that was that was the first
1:36:24place that i went to when i came back
1:36:25so if i got out of there around 11 maybe
1:36:30like
1:36:3312 or 12 30 or something like that in
1:36:34the afternoon i think
1:36:36okay couldn't get the phone because why
1:36:38because i was told that i wasn't
1:36:40a registered user because it was under
1:36:42my dad's name sure and everything
1:36:44and then um i was told i was a

1:36:47and then that basically they can't do
1:36:51anything unless he gives the sign off to
1:36:53it right
1:36:54the account will have to approve about
1:36:55it right right didn't work it didn't
1:36:57work
1:36:57and then you went where and then after
1:36:59that i went
1:37:01back um and then i think i just sat in
1:37:04my car for a little while so i was just
1:37:05thinking okay well how am i going to do
1:37:06this with everything that just happened
1:37:08and um from
1:37:12there that's where i think i decided
1:37:14that i was going to
1:37:16maybe drive by the house did you go
1:37:18right bye
1:37:19did i i didn't drive by the house i like
1:37:22was starting to go there down that fort
1:37:24christmas road and then i was just like
1:37:26i'm just i'm not gonna i'm not gonna do
1:37:28it because as far as i know it's like
1:37:32you know dad's probably at work i don't
1:37:34know if cody works again today
1:37:36and you know just like with everything
1:37:38that had been when he drove down there
1:37:39yeah see anything strange no i i had
1:37:42seen
1:37:42um i just seen like a couple of cars
1:37:45like pass by me but
1:37:47of course like just standard like just a
1:37:49little bit of traffic
1:37:50but then apart from that no i mean
1:37:52nothing how close you get to the house
1:37:55uh it's i mean like a couple miles
1:37:58a couple of them you leave there
1:38:02and you go where and then after i choose
1:38:05not to do that
1:38:06then i
1:38:09go
1:38:14i go uh back towards the goldenrod
1:38:17express grips area because i thought
1:38:18that i had to do the skills
1:38:20checkoff thing um so then i'm going back
1:38:23that whole like golden roddy
1:38:24area right um i think i missed my exit
1:38:27and then i had to get off at uh
1:38:30you go 408 again yeah expressway yeah

1:38:34right okay and then i missed the golden
1:38:36rod exit and then
1:38:39i like don't even think to get off on
1:38:40samurai so then i end up like needing to

1:38:42off on crystal lake drive and then i
1:38:46connect up with 50 and then i just go
1:38:47all the way back the whole
1:38:49the goldenrod road but um
1:38:52um then i stop off and i just
1:38:57i see if if there was like any email
1:38:59updates or anything like that and then
1:39:00there's
1:39:01your emails yeah nothing and then there
1:39:02was nothing so then i was like oh
1:39:04crap it's not like today but you've got
1:39:06to pay for things you've got some money
1:39:08right in your account right you got
1:39:10cody's cards right right
1:39:12do you still have your dance card yes
1:39:13okay so i had that okay do you use any
1:39:15of them
1:39:16i had used cody's card to pay for one of
1:39:19my bills
1:39:20that was outstanding uh it was just one
1:39:22of those
1:39:23from that site it was just like a bill
1:39:25that is back

1:48:18it because i don't know if
1:48:20like he had already said that he was on
1:48:22his way home or if
1:48:23there were expectations like for a time
1:48:25with him for making it home
1:48:27but what was your demeanor like what did
1:48:28cody see you as like were you
1:48:30like scared yeah like i was scared

1:48:37scared of what being on your own

1:48:55didn't so you're afraid of him

1:49:25both but his hands are he had bruised
1:49:28her left arm by grabbing it
1:49:31um and then apparently she had said that
1:49:34on one of the nights
1:49:35that um they were in the kitchen
1:49:37together and then he was like throwing
1:49:39food at her and then banged her head
1:49:40against the wall
1:49:41a couple times so and i'm not let me
1:49:44speak bad of your dad but he's kind of a
1:49:46violent guy
1:49:47yeah i mean you have a reason to be
1:49:48afraid of him and then
1:49:50the thing that i was getting to was that
1:49:52apparently my mom was so scared at one
1:49:54point because it had been a while since
1:49:55he had been like this
1:49:57that she had taken like a couple or a
1:50:01number of
1:50:02voice memos on her phone whenever he
1:50:04would like come in and then start
1:50:06like she knew that you know something
1:50:07like he was gonna start to get upset and
1:50:10that on multiple occasions
1:50:12um he had told her that if you or
1:50:16he had told her that basically if i [ __ ]
1:50:18up sorry for the language but
1:50:19if i if i screw up he's going to kill me
1:50:23and then he's going to kill her he said
1:50:26those specifically because he blames
1:50:27everything that happens negatively with
1:50:30me
1:50:30and with jason not with cody but with me

1:50:33on her because we're here
1:50:37so you have a reasonable belief in your
1:50:40mind that your dad could could hurt you
1:50:42yes he could hurt your mom yes he could

1:51:58father and he said
1:51:59he grabbed your shirt and pulled you off
1:52:01the couch did he do anything else to you

1:52:04no no he didn't like pursue it anymore
1:52:06he was just
1:52:07did you tell cody that he acted that way

1:52:10cody had no idea that there was a heated

1:53:12busy or something when you were in your
1:53:14room
1:53:15the hotel room hanging out watching tv
1:53:18no i didn't turn on the tv i had on just

1:53:21on the in the background just kind of
1:53:23helped me go to sleep are you sure about
1:53:25that because the hotel
1:53:27it's weird and i i didn't know that they
1:53:28should travel a lot for work
1:53:30they can tell because of the tv every
1:53:34channel you've been on when the tv gets
1:53:36turned off with i guess they have a
1:53:37problem

1:53:40people stealing from that

2:02:57who's involved it was just like this is
2:02:58the preliminary was that we got one of
2:02:59the news stations

2:03:04the site you searched
2:03:05i can't i honestly can't remember
2:03:07anything i think it was one of the
2:03:08wishes
2:03:09and you saw the story because we've seen
2:03:11the same stories you've seen the story
2:03:13because there's a thing that will tell
2:03:14me how long of the of the time you spent
2:03:17on this
2:03:18right you saw what happened yeah i was
2:03:20on there for like
2:03:2120 seconds what was your thoughts when
2:03:23you reviewed that story
2:03:24i was freaking out and i like i didn't
2:03:28i was just like blank i didn't know what

2:05:43that's truthful that i know

2:06:12did anything more happen with you and
2:06:14your father besides him grabbing you up

2:06:17and yelling at you and kicking you out
2:06:21anything on that at all did he
2:06:25pull did he harm you hit you
2:06:28no draw any weapons on you no you didn't
2:06:31do anything like that

2:08:04debt to people 200 000 i don't know what

2:08:10something like that or or a medical bill
2:08:12for my child
2:08:12yeah i get it but talking to some girl
2:08:15you know in bulgaria
2:08:16you know you said you hit it right you
2:08:18were embarrassed about it and you have
2:08:19nothing to be embarrassed about
2:08:20and you said you had a connection with
2:08:22her and

2:09:28i just i don't i don't
2:09:40like i i just i don't know how to even
2:09:42say the words
2:09:44but what would it give me around about
2:09:46what you're thinking
2:09:48that somebody in my family's dead
2:09:54and how does that make you feel if you
2:09:56think if you're thinking that
2:09:57i have absolutely no
2:10:04ability to comprehend the words because
2:10:07like i said i've been there for my whole
2:10:10entire life
2:10:10and even though there's been struggles
2:10:12and everything like that
2:10:14there has never been any issues
2:10:18there's never been the struggles or the
2:10:19issues
2:10:21like happened thursday never for you i i
2:10:24believe you 100
2:10:25i believe it's never been like that but
2:10:27something happened
2:10:28thursday unlike anything you've ever
2:10:30experienced in 29 years of your life
2:10:32and maybe you felt that was rock bottom
2:10:34for you you were getting kicked out of
2:10:36the house your father gave you an
2:10:37ultimatum
2:10:38i mean that's you know you're already
2:10:41dealing with the the debt
2:10:42and you know now you have to stop
2:10:44talking to this girl
2:10:45and now you're being kicked out of the
2:10:47home i mean that's
2:10:49i i can understand how you would feel
2:10:53i mean that you'd want to lash out or
2:10:56you know if something happened you'd
2:10:57want to defend yourself
2:10:58sure absolutely but we need to know what
2:11:02happened
2:11:04i mean i know i can tell that you guys
2:11:06are like leading me into a certain
2:11:08way of what the only thing we're leading
2:11:11you to is wanting to
2:11:12get the truth from you not trying to
2:11:14make you say something that's not true
2:11:16that's not accurate the truth the end
2:11:20that's it that's all we want is the
2:11:22absolute truth because it's got to come
2:11:25from you it can't come from us
2:11:26it can't come from us do we know what
2:11:28happened
2:11:29yeah we we already know what happened
2:11:32but it has to still come from you
2:11:34the truth because the parties involved
2:11:37that's in all cases you want the truth
2:11:39from i don't want somebody to say

2:11:53some people were jumped in a house
2:11:56there was a shooting and the people
2:11:58involved in the shooting are not going
2:11:59to be charged because
2:12:00they have the right to defend themselves
2:12:02nothing in the in
2:12:03in the state or federal law says you
2:12:06have to be
2:12:08seriously physically harmed or or or
2:12:10killed
2:12:11nothing does you have a right to defend
2:12:13yourself absolutely
2:12:14fear of you're sure you're being hard on
2:12:18your life
2:12:19but grant i just need you to come it's
2:12:21it's there it's there i can see it
2:12:23it's on the tip of your tongue you want
2:12:25to say
2:12:26let me tell you what what happened i'm
2:12:28being honest i think you're being honest
2:12:30about
2:12:3195 percent of the story i truly do
2:12:32believe you're being honest about that

2:12:35people because they're afraid to

2:12:42once they tell us the truth it's it's a

2:15:16and then the uh the website and
2:15:19everything that
2:15:20something happened to him who's him

2:15:34no did you do anything to your father no
2:15:39you have any reason to believe that
2:15:41anybody else would harm them
2:15:46no the only thing that i was told was
2:15:48that cody would take care of it for me

2:15:52didn't tell cody what your father said

2:18:43circle area
2:18:44and the investigation is ongoing okay
2:18:47and what'd they say they say the status
2:18:48of the people in inside the house
2:18:50because all the news has reported the
2:18:51same thing every one of them the sheriff
2:18:53is held press profits
2:18:54the sheriff has provided information to
2:18:56the media
2:18:58and it's all it's known what has
2:19:00happened in the home
2:19:01all that i had all that i saw was
2:19:04literally like the paragraph and then
2:19:06the last sentence was there's an
2:19:07investigation ongoing and
2:19:09you saw more because at panera and you
2:19:12said you pulled it up
2:19:16they they um they um
2:19:21had more information then they had more
2:19:23information than just
2:19:24there's been a shooting there's a lot
2:19:25more information was given it was all
2:19:27over the news by by that time
2:19:29the new news report exactly what
2:19:31happened we know
2:19:35that cody
2:19:38didn't shoot your dad we know cody
2:19:41didn't shoot your mom
2:19:43we know cody didn't shoot himself
2:19:48something and you still haven't asked us
2:19:50the position of them
2:19:51that's because i'm i'm i mean i don't

2:19:56don't i mean normal proceedings are for
2:19:58you to be honest
2:19:59about what happens and then we help you
2:20:01understand everything that's going

2:25:30service and you can still talk do the
2:25:32twitter thing on self service on the lte
2:25:34at home right okay and then when you
2:25:38are at the publix right you're on
2:25:41that's on wi-fi publix is wi-fi right

2:25:44and then you said the next time was at
2:25:46panera
2:25:47yes was on the wi-fi both your cell
2:25:50phone and the surface
2:25:52just the surface i hadn't either narrow
2:25:54it was just on the surface

2:26:02that we will know exactly where you were

2:27:28the truth to be told no matter which way

2:28:43because if when you say something to get
2:28:45locked into a story
2:28:46and it's proven to be false then you

2:28:50what what do people look at during the
2:28:53course of
2:28:54during the course of an investigation
2:28:58did everybody who was honest and who who
2:29:01was
2:29:01dishonest so there's an explanation of
2:29:04things
2:29:05you have to explain them and you're
2:29:07missing that two three four five percent
2:29:09of
2:29:09the truth that you hold back and that's
2:29:12the most crucial for you right now
2:29:14is the truth sounds crazy
2:29:17but that's a fact the truth self-set you
2:29:20free emotionally you're probably going
2:29:22to break down because
2:29:23you've got this all pinned up inside you
2:29:25that you want to say it but you're
2:29:27afraid to say it i get it

2:29:32that makes it all this look like nothing
2:29:35this whole investigation like nothing
2:29:36they're just
2:29:38bad then once they get this off their

2:31:11who did this to your family

2:34:04from the neighborhood and you're the

2:34:45in in the uh in the house mom's sitting
2:34:48her thing with a glass of wine
2:34:49doing her thing and she's shocked you
2:34:51just got to step over and tell me man
2:34:53i want to help you i do the evidence is
2:34:56going to be there
2:34:58most people i'm with cartridge cases we
2:35:00have projectiles
2:35:01in fingerprints
2:35:04so you just need to tell us what led up
2:35:06to this you've been arrested correct
2:35:09so we have your fingerprints correct you
2:35:11understand that
2:35:13physical evidence is something i can't
2:35:14manipulate it's either there's not there

2:42:05my uh dad and my mom were
2:42:08arguing and then i was still just
2:42:10packing up all my stuff
2:42:13or gathering the things that i could

2:42:20and then when cody got home he
2:42:24started to transgress with my dad and i
2:42:27was still kind of just staying out of it
2:42:29and doing my own thing
2:42:33and then the end result was still the
2:42:34end result and then i had to still leave
2:42:38and then so is it true that you still
2:42:40met cody up the block or was that no
2:42:42no so you didn't meet him up the box so
2:42:45why did you tell us that
2:42:49i don't know
2:42:53all right so then now let's start from
2:42:56the time you and your father started
2:42:57have that having the argument
2:42:58about 6 6 30 you said when he got on
2:43:01yeah
2:43:02tell us exactly what happened from that

2:43:16it's everything i mean it was everything
2:43:18that he had been telling me for the past
2:43:22months and months and months about just

2:43:31never be able to do things that he

2:43:40and that i told him that you know once i
2:43:42can get a job then
2:43:43i have plans to make amends for the
2:43:46things that i had
2:43:48caused for everybody
2:43:52um and he's he's yelling
2:43:56yeah he's heated are you yelling back at
2:43:59him
2:43:59no i never yelled at my dad
2:44:03and are you sitting on the couch
2:44:04downstairs like you said i was
2:44:06in the living room yeah and at what
2:44:08point does he put his hands on you
2:44:12it's just that i mean it's like maybe
2:44:14five minutes into the conversation
2:44:17i mean there's nothing there wasn't
2:44:18really anything that was a trigger
2:44:21that i can think of what was your
2:44:23reaction when he grabbed your shirt and
2:44:24pulled you up
2:44:27i mean
2:44:32i mean i had always been passive so i
2:44:34mean i didn't really
2:44:36i didn't i didn't fight back or anything
2:44:38like that i just
2:44:40tried to get my my grounding and then
2:44:43and then we were just standing and
2:44:47you know just continued on and then what
2:44:52and then after that uh
2:44:55i started the whole process of
2:44:59gathering everything where's your mom at
2:45:01this point
2:45:02she was still in her office did she
2:45:04intervene at all
2:45:05she had gotten up to say that you know
2:45:08like
2:45:08you need like you need to settle down or
2:45:10you you know some sort of defusing
2:45:12statement that she always used to make
2:45:15and then my dad yelled at her to stay
2:45:17out of this
2:45:19and then she just went back into there
2:45:22okay and then what what happened next
2:45:26um
2:45:32i mean then it was just like it was just
2:45:36a lot of
2:45:38like just it was just a lot of yelling
2:45:40and confrontation between me and dad but
2:45:44there wasn't anything more physical
2:45:46about it
2:45:51and like i said i was just going up and
2:45:53about
2:45:55you know getting my stuff and taking it
2:45:56out to my car and getting back whatever
2:45:59i could
2:45:59whatever i could gather and would your
2:46:02dad do while you were doing that
2:46:04he was just following me around just
2:46:07making sure you were gathering your
2:46:08stuff to get out of my my possessions
2:46:10and not taking
2:46:11anything of his and how long did that go
2:46:14on because
2:46:15before cody shows up i mean that was
2:46:18like
2:46:20for three three four hours or something
2:46:22like that so you did that for
2:46:24three hours gathering your stuff and
2:46:27dealing with dad and because it wasn't
2:46:29just like
2:46:30he went back up those two little bags
2:46:32you brought was three hours
2:46:34yeah he wanted just i mean i went onto
2:46:37my computer to back up some stuff onto
2:46:40like some flash drives and i mean all
2:46:41that other stuff but
2:46:43it wasn't just like with him where
2:46:47i could just go and do my thing
2:46:50you know i mean he would stop me and
2:46:52then we would
2:46:54talk for like an extended period of time
2:46:58and then i would start to do my thing
2:47:00again and then it would stop again and i
2:47:02mean that's all that was
2:47:03was your father wearing this yeah
2:47:07and what about that gun on his waist no
2:47:10he didn't have that on no no is this
2:47:12normal
2:47:13no i mean i had i hadn't seen him have
2:47:16his gun since
2:47:18since like high school so he doesn't
2:47:22walk around like this normally

2:47:27i don't know if it's because of what he
2:47:30had told me that
2:47:31if i came back that he would kill me

2:47:53she talked to the girl in bulgaria

2:47:56and said that you you're not a bad guy
2:47:58and how this breakup basically is
2:48:01you had did you enjoyment was bad
2:48:04here's the problem the dad
2:48:07this one's behind you supports you that
2:48:09one's behind you supports you
2:48:11this i'm sure cares about you but it's
2:48:13upset because like you said
2:48:14you have ruined his plans for retirement
2:48:18so you can't retire because of the
2:48:20financial
2:48:21loss how much money did cody give you
2:48:32sixty thousand yeah
2:48:35dad gave you how much
2:48:40like a hundred thousand mom gave damage
2:48:45that's like 30 000 or something so
2:48:47around 200 000
2:48:51and the vast majority of this money went
2:48:52to some girl
2:48:54on the internet so they're upset i get
2:48:56that
2:48:57but we know he didn't fire a gun
2:49:00we know she didn't fire a gun we know he
2:49:03didn't fire a gun
2:49:06he shot the second he walks in the house
2:49:08at what point does he come into the
2:49:10house
2:49:13it's like like 10 30. and where does he
2:49:16enter
2:49:17through the garage so where does he park
2:49:20his car
2:49:21under the the awning thing outside not
2:49:24in the garage
2:49:25right so do you see him walk in
2:49:29or hear him come in no so you're
2:49:32upstairs maybe or
2:49:34where are you when he comes home when i
2:49:36when he came home i was doing
2:49:39i was uh gathering the some of the like
2:49:42power bars into my
2:49:44little shoulder satchel
2:49:47where the power bar's in the kitchen or
2:49:48in the kitchen so you see him come in
2:49:51i i hear the door but then that's it and
2:49:54then when do you see him
2:49:56honestly i see him when he walks into
2:49:58the kitchen
2:49:59and what do you guys what what is said
2:50:03i bet he asked me what i'm doing and i
2:50:04basically tell him
2:50:06the quick short story because at the
2:50:09time my dad and my mom were talking
2:50:11where were they they were in her office
2:50:13okay and what is the short story you
2:50:15tell
2:50:16that cody coat that dad caught me still
2:50:19talking to the girl that had caused all
2:50:22the problems
2:50:24and that he was kicking me out of the
2:50:26house because i had broken his rule
2:50:29did you tell cody that he threatened to
2:50:31kill you if you came back home
2:50:34no i still didn't tell cody about that i
2:50:36just
2:50:37i had told cody previously when i went
2:50:39to cornerstone
2:50:40that that's what
2:50:44uh dad was gonna do if i had made any
2:50:47more mistakes not the specific one that
2:50:49i had caused
2:50:50but if i had made any more mistakes and
2:50:52then cody told me that
2:50:54he was going to do that when i went into
2:50:56one of the side offices with him before
2:50:58they
2:50:59officially dropped me off when you went
2:51:01to cornerstone right
2:51:03so your dad had told you in the past
2:51:05before that he would kill you
2:51:06right for what reason for
2:51:10if i basically did anything related to
2:51:12this again
2:51:13causing costing him a lot of money and
2:51:16cody knew about that
2:51:17right he didn't he just didn't know

2:51:30from like the paper that my dad had

2:52:01talk about
2:52:03so then after talking about that he says
2:52:05that he'll take care of it
2:52:06and then him and my dad they're the ones
2:52:10that
2:52:12always yell and raise their voices and
2:52:14everything like that
2:52:15did your dad eventually enter the
2:52:16kitchen or did cody go to your dad in
2:52:18the office
2:52:19no my dad came in when he heard that me
2:52:21and cody were talking
2:52:22and what what was the conversation then
2:52:25when they started to talk i just left
2:52:28the room and i just went
2:52:29back upstairs so you didn't hear what
2:52:31they talked about
2:52:33i mean not and it was it was more just
2:52:36that
2:52:37he was defending that it's just you know
2:52:39that i just did this
2:52:40and that it's not like it's costing any
2:52:42money
2:52:44were they yelling did they raise their
2:52:45voice yeah they were talking they were
2:52:48they were yelling did you hear any
2:52:50threats or
2:52:53my dad had said that um
2:52:59that he was that everybody had agreed
2:53:02that if i had done this that i would
2:53:05have to go
2:53:06that there wasn't any more wiggle room
2:53:09or second chances or anything like that
2:53:13and then uh
2:53:17you know he came around to the base of
2:53:20the staircase and then he told me that i
2:53:21need to go
2:53:23your father did yeah and then i told him
2:53:26that i was just trying to
2:53:27pick up the last few things that i
2:53:29needed to
2:53:31uh there was like a bag of my like a
2:53:34trash bag of like my clothes
2:53:36um that i had still not unpacked from
2:53:40when i got back from cornerstone
2:53:42that i just you know i had to gather and
2:53:44put into my car you know all that
2:53:45just brand and stuff and then um
2:53:51i don't know what time i actually left
2:53:52but
2:53:54i think it was closer to like
2:53:58midnight or something
2:54:01and when you left where was your mother
2:54:03when i left my mom was still just in her
2:54:05office
2:54:07and where was your dad dad and cody were
2:54:09just yelling inside the kitchen
2:54:12yelling not really yelling anymore but
2:54:14they were
2:54:18it was basically just the same exact
2:54:20conversation that had been going on
2:54:22where there was nothing left and that
2:54:25dad looked through some of my things to
2:54:26make sure that i wasn't
2:54:28taking anything that wasn't mine i think
2:54:31the only thing that he had a problem
2:54:33with was that
2:54:35i had taken like
2:54:38um like some of my
2:54:41my paperwork bills from like the chapman
2:54:44law group
2:54:45but then since i wasn't the one paying
2:54:46for it that they would need those but
2:54:49then i still just ended up keeping it
2:54:50because i figured
2:54:52nothing else was gonna like be covered
2:54:54for me or anything
2:54:57so then after i left i took that
2:55:00the fort christmas road um that
2:55:04connected up with 50
2:55:05and then i was just at the publix for
2:55:07the rest of the time
2:55:09the same publix we talked about earlier
2:55:11on 419.
2:55:13so from about midnight till 7am like you
2:55:16said you were a puppet
2:55:18and then is everything else the truth as
2:55:19far as the job interview
2:55:21and so on so all the rest of the times
2:55:24were accurate
2:55:25and when i looked at the site i
2:55:30did not i i only saw a small
2:55:33blurb so when did you learn that your
2:55:35family was dead
2:55:41i had been worried since last night
2:55:46when i was uh just in the hotel but
2:55:52i knew when you guys told me
2:55:56i mean like i knew when you guys had
2:55:58told me you already knew that
2:56:00but i had he already said you knew
2:56:03at any point did you feel like you
2:56:05needed to reach out to cody and see if
2:56:06he was okay
2:56:07or i just didn't want to call anywhere
2:56:12i just didn't want to know
2:56:15but you couldn't call i well i mean you
2:56:18had brought up the hospital
2:56:19that was there but i just worked there i
2:56:21didn't even think i was to use that
2:56:28you've got a medical background correct
2:56:30yes you ever been to an autopsy
2:56:33no okay an autopsy tells us a lot of
2:56:35things
2:56:36cause of death a lot of times how close
2:56:40somebody was or something
2:56:41again remember i told you earlier she
2:56:43didn't fire a gun
2:56:45he ain't fire again he had fire so they
2:56:47didn't get into us shooting amongst
2:56:49themselves inside the house
2:56:53angles tell us a lot of things
2:56:57dad was over here when he got shot the
2:56:59bullets in the cabinet and in the wall
2:57:02we know that we that's the one those
2:57:03facts we just can't dispute
2:57:06i see where shell casings are over here
2:57:08see what shelf casings are in here
2:57:11two or shelf cases are there cody was
2:57:14shot the minute he walked in the door
2:57:16when he first got home
2:57:22bullet went through him from his from
2:57:25his head
2:57:26to the back of his head hit the door
2:57:29frame
2:57:29and packed it in the wall
2:57:33he never fired he never fired she never
2:57:36fired
2:57:42and we know what time cody left work
2:57:47i mean from his boss from his co-workers
2:57:50and you gotta remember we've talked to
2:57:51everybody before we talk to you
2:57:54so we know what time he left work we
2:57:57know why he
2:57:58told his co-workers and his boss why he
2:58:00left over and we know what time he got
2:58:02home
2:58:03and we have text messages that he has
2:58:05sent people afterwards
2:58:10so based on what you're telling us that
2:58:13he comes home and has this confrontation
2:58:15talks to you talks to his dad you leave
2:58:18about midnight
2:58:20and he's still there talking to your dad
2:58:22in the kitchen
2:58:24none of that adds up senator can
2:58:27approximate the time of death based on
2:58:29the body
2:58:33now it's the time grant now is the time
2:58:35buddy i'm
2:58:36just i believe this this and this
2:58:38happened while you were still present in
2:58:40the house
2:58:42and for whatever reason you don't want
2:58:44to tell us
2:58:46we understand your father was abusive
2:58:48and we understand that he was the

2:58:52and if he threatened you that he was
2:58:54gonna kill you when you came back
2:58:57you were probably in fear were you not
2:59:01so did your brother come home to try and

2:59:05fun fight happened and you got so scared

2:59:16which took around the night or midnight

2:59:23again we know stuff from from the

2:59:28of times
2:59:32said this a couple of times he never

2:59:43we know we're gonna get dna off the guns
2:59:45that are on scene
2:59:46and the cartridge casings
2:59:50is any reason to believe that your
2:59:51fingerprints or your dna will be on
2:59:54any of those weapons or the cartridge
2:59:55cases that are on this scene

3:34:00not have to deal with it on a daily

3:34:03this mental struggles you went through
3:34:06with cody and dad relationship you and
3:34:08dad's relationship
3:34:09everybody's relationship in the family
3:34:12you know how smart
3:34:14everybody is in the family when it comes
3:34:16to medical
3:34:18information and that's what scares me
3:34:21even more about you
3:34:27if you didn't do it then you have to
3:34:30know
3:34:31that someone else did it there is no way
3:34:35that there were people out there looking
3:34:37for our parents or brother
3:34:40they had to have been looking for you
3:34:42there's no way
3:34:43that mom dad or cody owed anybody money
3:34:46had anybody looking for them because
3:34:49of something that they did no i don't
3:34:52think that it's something
3:34:54money shark or monitor or somebody like
3:34:56that
3:34:57right because nothing was stolen from
3:34:59the house so like
3:35:01people that are looking to compensate
3:35:03for financial
3:35:04obligations would have taken tvs
3:35:06computers
3:35:07jewelry monetarily things
3:35:11right from what i've been advised that
3:35:14is not the situation
3:35:15so that believes that the people were
3:35:20murdered
3:35:21for the reason that they were in the way
3:35:23of getting to something else
3:35:27i just i don't understand why
3:35:31i don't understand why it happened i was
3:35:34taking my steps forward despite
3:35:36everything that i was supposed to do
3:35:39that i was supposed to be doing
3:35:42the slip up was still communicating with
3:35:45the woman but what were you allowed to
3:35:47take when dad kicked you out
3:35:49obviously your car basically my
3:35:52possessions my
3:35:53cell phone my ipad my surface
3:35:56some clothes weapons i don't have any
3:35:59weapons
3:36:01so there's going to be no weapons in the
3:36:03hotel that you
3:36:04were at last night no weapons in the car
3:36:07no weapons buried on the property
3:36:09no i know i sold
3:36:12all my weapons when i was trying to make

3:37:37and i have to hear it from an attorney
3:37:39or a
3:37:40law enforcement or the news
3:37:46it's gonna be harder for me and
3:37:49i know if you can take mom and dad
3:37:52and cody's life it's hard for you to
3:37:55comprehend
3:37:56that my emotions are going to be that
3:37:58but
3:38:03it's unbelievably scary grant
3:38:08and i don't believe in god i don't have
3:38:11a strong
3:38:12religious belief but i will pray
3:38:16that this is solved justifiably because
3:38:20it was not fair that mom cody and dad's
3:38:23life were taken
3:38:25they did not deserve it no matter what
3:38:28feelings were felt by anybody they were
3:38:31good people
3:38:34and they showed it by protecting me all
3:38:37the time
3:38:38but dad kicked you out so because i
3:38:41still broke the rule
3:38:42and that it was apparently dad's job to
3:38:45be the hammer person
3:38:47or whatever he would describe it as
3:38:49right i was told that you would not be
3:38:51have
3:38:51access to be able to contact this woman
3:38:55why do you feel the intent to still
3:38:56contact her
3:38:58it was just the whole emotional thing
3:39:01i mean that's that's okay so are you
3:39:03saying that you love the woman
3:39:05i feel like i did you know okay you
3:39:09feel like you did so you don't feel that
3:39:11way now
3:39:12well i mean now it's pretty much
3:39:15you know i mean it's not what it used to
3:39:17be is all i can say
3:39:19because she's aware of what has happened
3:39:22in the last several months right
3:39:26so why do you feel the need to still
3:39:27contact her i don't know i mean

3:39:36just like that feeling when you care for
3:39:38somebody you've been with them for
3:39:40however many months
3:39:41yo i know that feeling so i mean i was

3:39:49couldn't ever do
3:39:50any of the money stuff anymore okay so i
3:39:53guess that was like
3:39:55it hurt right yeah yeah because you
3:39:57can't carry that persona that you
3:39:59carried before
3:40:02but you know the crazy part is you're
3:40:05still the same person
3:40:07you are still green a motto that i grew
3:40:09up with for 17 years
3:40:13that i played with that we hate [ __ ]
3:40:16from
3:40:16dad so that we didn't get in trouble who
3:40:19covered those grenades mom

3:40:28i don't feel like we're getting anywhere
3:40:29and i'm gonna be honest i don't feel
3:40:32comfortable with you staying with me
3:40:34i mean if in a week or a couple days or
3:40:3812 hours and something else is

3:40:41i might have a change of heart but i
3:40:43have no other
3:40:44options in my head of what's going on
3:40:47especially if you're confirming that
3:40:48there's nobody looking for you
3:40:52and if you're saying that you ran away
3:40:55or
3:40:55stayed in a hotel because you were
3:40:57forced to or you were told you couldn't
3:40:59stay there
3:41:03i i don't live there so i have no proof
3:41:06the only people that live there are dead
3:41:08so they can't say anything
3:41:14but uh the moore called me this morning
3:41:17so i have to make decisions for
3:41:19mom cody and grant and dad in the next
3:41:24several you know a couple days so uh
3:41:28just letting you know that um
3:41:32i'll be making those decisions because
3:41:36until i'm given verifiable information
3:41:39that you did not do it i don't think you
3:41:42have the right to make that decision
3:41:45you already made the decision on whether
3:41:47or not they can live or not
3:41:52that's not your job
3:41:58all right i'm ready i do love you though
3:42:01just remember that just like mom
3:42:04cody and dad loved you
3:42:07nobody loved you anymore or any less
