1:59i have a bachelor's of science in
2:01nursing from ucf
2:03back in 2011
2:06and that's my highest level okay what
2:09what is there any special uh nursing
2:11degree what you do or
2:12uh i mean i have like other
2:14certifications
2:15um but uh
2:17i mean with that like i primarily worked
2:19in the hospital
2:20for i think five years five or six years
2:24and then i was pursuing a master's of
2:26science in nurse anesthesia
2:28um that was back in 2015 i believe okay
2:32um but then i didn't complete that and
2:34then i just went back to nursing and
2:35then when this whole
2:38like wrongful accusation of the grand
2:40theft charge that i told you about in
2:41the car when that happened uh i stopped
2:45working at the hospital and then that
2:46took like i don't think
2:48i don't think we talked about that oh
2:50well i had i was accused of grant after
2:52the third degree back in
2:54[Music]
2:56june of 2018.
2:58um
2:59that like went on for six months and
3:02during that time obviously wasn't
3:03allowed to work because of it
3:05um
3:06and then where was that florida hospital
3:08south the main one down in orlando
3:11uh

3:13rollins that sort of bounce okay um
3:17so when that happened obviously i was
3:20dismissed from that job and i couldn't
3:21get another job because now you have an
3:23outstanding felony charge on your name
3:24sure um so then i got the attorney it
3:27all went through and then finally in
3:28december
3:30they posted on the orange county clerk
3:32courts or whatever website where your
3:34where your file is that there was no
3:36evidence that were ever presented all
3:38the charges were dropped and now i'm
3:39just in the process of expunging that
3:41from my records but
3:43um
3:45because you know i can't keep just not
3:47working forever um and you know that was
3:50that was kind of a
3:52topic around the house was you know i
3:54need to get started here right um who is
3:56your turning fork for that uh lauren
3:58likum chapman chapman law group okay

4:04um
4:06so then they didn't really have to do
4:08anything no she didn't turn on charges
4:10so state attorney didn't
4:11file anything and then she just
4:13presented that she was going to be my
4:14attorney and that was the most work she
4:15ever had to do okay
4:17um
4:19and then
4:20i've been applying for jobs for the last
4:22couple weeks
4:24i've gotten uh like three or four
4:25callbacks
4:26um and then i went on a job interview
4:28yesterday for a home infusion nurse job
4:31where
4:32was that at um
4:34that was with uh
4:38a creta a credo
4:42that like a staffing or is that a like a
4:44like a head hunter kind of job
4:47no that's uh that's like their actual
4:48company it's uh
4:50why can i not remember the first name
4:51it's something scripts
4:53team scripts
4:57where's the location uh it's out
5:00close to the airport it's on lee vista
5:04what time was your interview yesterday
5:06uh it was scheduled for ten i got there
5:08around nine in the morning uh and then i
5:11think we actually had the interview at
5:12about 9 45. how'd that go i mean it was
5:15all good uh they didn't have anything
5:16they said that they'd probably be
5:18getting back to me by tuesday or third
5:19so this coming week get you back to work
5:21yeah yeah because i mean
5:25it's like it's crappy world when you
5:26know you don't have any money you can't
5:28do anything so finance like how how's
5:31the the nursing what you did i'm sorry i
5:33just don't know that much she knows all
5:34about understanding the nursing how does
5:36it pay how does it pay um i mean if you
5:38work your your standard three to three
5:3912 hours a week you get anywhere between
5:41i'd say 45 and 55 000 a year so i mean
5:44it's not bad
5:46um obviously if you work overtime like
5:48some of the nurses who have also been
5:50nurses for a long time uh i mean they
5:52can make six figures if if you work five
5:55what was your best way this year
5:57i think my best year i made like 55 000.
6:00because i rarely worked overtime right
6:01you know when i was just because i had
6:03the whole plan of going to uh to
6:05graduate school so i was just kind of
6:06using it as a stepping stone for that
6:08time just to pay the bills
6:10gotcha
6:11that's and what you're going for what
6:13does that pay nurse anesthesia pays
6:16i mean base like about 150 up to 175 you
6:20work a lot of overtime you can cusp 200
6:22but then you know so what would you
6:24actually be doing
6:25if i could do anything no i mean with
6:27that job that as nursing and right what
6:30would you do
6:31oh yeah
6:32thank you thank you uh you just be
6:34you're the you're in the or you put the
6:36patients to sleep keep them alive during
6:38surgery wake them up send them off to
6:40that i thought that was a doctor that
6:41did that
6:42in florida in florida the
6:44anesthesiologist which is the md
6:47equivalent if you will
6:48they have to come in at the start of
6:50surgery they have to induce the patient
6:51to put them to sleep and then as long as
6:53they're comfortable with you the surgeon
6:55is comfortable with you
6:56then the anesthesiologist leaves and
6:58then you take care of the whole entire
6:59surgeon
7:00right okay and then again you know by
7:03the time you're a crna you're obviously
7:06confident enough to wake the patient up
7:07so when i was a student though the
7:09anesthesiologist would sometimes come
7:11back in for wake up to make sure
7:12everything's okay
7:14and then you take them to the uh
7:15pacquiao or the post-op area drop them
7:18off you get the nurse report and then
7:20you go into your next case okay um
7:23high school where'd you go
7:25i went to timber creek high school on
7:28avalon okay and graduate what year
7:30uh 2007. okay
7:33and then did you go right to ucf and
7:34start your degree summer yeah okay
7:38what kind of grades you make
7:39i'll be great um high school and the
7:42first two years of college i was
7:45abc
7:47um
7:48you know i was in honors in the major
7:50program for uh ucf
7:53um and then my final two years when i
7:55was getting my my bsn
7:57i made a's and b's and then i had one
7:59slip up in my final semester where i had
8:01to
8:02redo a class
8:04and then i ended up graduating in
8:06august that's what year 2011.

8:10and did you start work right after that
8:14yeah i think like a couple months after
8:17where uh i went i first worked on the
8:19intermediate critical care unit at ormc
8:23in downtown okay
8:25and then went from where up to rollins
8:27at some point then i went to um
8:30i worked in the icc there at that
8:32hospital and then i worked in the multi
8:34system icu at that hospital
8:36uh and then i applied for the graduate
8:38school in
8:40december or i i started going in january
8:43of
8:452014
8:51that was at very university i think okay
8:54um
8:56girlfriends
8:57girlfriends i had
8:59like my high school sweetheart uh
9:01girlfriend
9:02um for about five years
9:05and then ever since then no like
9:06official girlfriends no flings or
9:08anything like that here and there
9:10dates occasionally but i mean not really
9:12kind of focused on like just getting
9:14through the life the life goals that you
9:16know i wanted to achieve
9:18and then um
9:20you know much of uh school debt
9:23school i mean not anything from ucf i
9:25have about a hundred thousand dollars
9:27i'd say from my math when i was going to
9:30berry
9:31so that's the only school debt that i
9:33have right now
9:34um
9:35it kind of creeped back up when i wasn't
9:37working so i wasn't i had to go into
9:38this deferred payments or whatever
9:40that's going on so i get a job
9:42what do you like to do
9:44what do i like to do i like to watch
9:45anime um
9:47me and my brother kind of started doing
9:49that back
9:51five years ago i said he kind of got me
9:53into it what is it i'm sorry oh oh sorry
9:55i don't know what it is i mean i think
9:57it said
9:59okay and then then when you start
10:01explaining to it i mean
10:03right now it's it's
10:04animated um
10:07it's like cartoons i guess you could say
10:09but it's japanese
10:10cartoons i guess the best way to put it
10:12so
10:13um it's not as it's like the the stories
10:16and whatnot and the way that the shows
10:18progress it's not as childish as
10:21cartoons as you would think like
10:22powderpuff girls and spongebob
10:24squarepants and all that stuff it's not
10:26like that so it's adult-based it's a
10:27doll face yeah i'm gonna put it that way
10:29yeah it's a cover i mean you can cover
10:31like slice of life versus comedies it
10:33can get dramatic romance all those
10:35different where do you where would one
10:36watch this
10:37um
10:38you you download it
10:40from the ad and then you can just watch
10:42it at home like on your computer you can
10:43watch it on uh you can watch it anywhere
10:46is it is it in japanese or it isn't
10:48japanese and then they uh it's about
10:50hollywood yeah you speak japanese that's
10:52what i say do you understand i don't i
10:54understand a few words we actually just
10:56went to uh me my brother and one of my
10:59friends or i guess friends from high
11:01school we went to japan in
11:04from december 1st to december 15th oh
11:07wow so we went because i mean and it was
11:09anime that kind of inspired us
11:11that one yeah first time actually who is
11:13your brother
11:14our friend jericho jericho he uh he's
11:17been he was originally a friend of my
11:18brothers back in high school and then we
11:20all kind of stayed close how expensive
11:22was that trip
11:24um
11:25and we got 20 tickets alone we're like
11:271400 bucks and then
11:30i'd say it was probably about
11:3210 grand total for like all those days
11:34for each one of you yeah wow i mean it
11:37was about it was two weeks so how did
11:39you know
11:40yeah
11:41how did how did you spend your time over
11:43there oh god it was we went to tokyo for
11:46the first four days and we stayed there
11:48and then we went to kyoto for two days
11:50and then i cannot remember all the names
11:52of the specific places but then it just
11:53stayed it was like one day stays at rio
11:56cons which are like guest houses or ends
11:59um
12:00that's food food is great but we were
12:03too scared to actually go into like the
12:04shops like the just like the side shops
12:07because
12:08all in japanese they all know what
12:10they're doing and we don't want to like
12:13say it wrong or do whatever like impose
12:16so uh we actually survived a lot at
12:19night on just like um
12:23food that you get from 7-eleven because
12:24over there over there it's called seven
12:26and i
12:27but
12:28it's like the 7-eleven symbol so it's
12:30the same exact thing and
12:32it's got way better food than what like
12:33the seven ones that we have here
12:35so we would go back oh yeah yeah we
12:37would go back yeah we i think we were
12:39actually planning on going back
12:41november of this year
12:43how long have you been out of work i've
12:44been out of work for six months since
12:46june how did you pay that's a lot of
12:48money to be out of work my brother oh
12:50yeah my brother what's he doing he's
12:52he's the crna
12:55sorry the the certified registered nurse
12:57and that's the thing
12:58okay what you were what you what we were
13:00both in the program together okay and
13:01then he was able to finish and then i
13:03did not so he was making good money yeah
13:05yeah was he making that hundred fifty
13:06hundred he was working
13:09he was working a lot i mean i don't know
13:10if he was i think he was cusping a lot
13:12of overtime not scheduled but like it's
13:15just kind of what happened
13:16um but yeah he was moving along what do
13:18you think he made his best year
13:21god he showed me because he was uh
13:24he went he was complaining about how
13:27like
13:28his taxes alone were like the annual
13:30income of like a nurse
13:32and i think when he showed me before
13:34like it all ended like the uh before his
13:38pay year had ended
13:40that he was already up to like 166 but
13:43that was like after i think the 60 000
13:45or 40 000 already came out i can't
13:48remember that was after it yeah i think
13:50so so he made more than 160 that was
13:52taken yeah wow
13:55so we definitely we definitely picked a
13:57long time i should have stayed in
13:58nursing yeah
14:00so he just paid for your trip to go said
14:02you're both into this right yeah okay um
14:07jericho
14:08what's he do uh he
14:10he's got just a high school diploma so
14:13he
14:14i think for the majority of the past
14:16year he was working as one of those um
14:19what are they called
14:20they're like the people that watch the
14:22security cams when you go into like a
14:23gap or something like that he's like
14:26lost prevention that's good correct
14:28how did he pay for all that i i mean i
14:30guess he just saved uh probably didn't
14:32have to pay for him no no no yeah he he
14:34like covered maybe some like daily
14:36expenses if there was like a taxi or
14:38something right how long did you guys
14:39plan this prior
14:42yeah i mean it had been a dream of ours
14:44to go for
14:46a couple years and then we really
14:48started planning probably just the year
14:50before
14:50like actually like putting the money
14:52aside getting all the reservations and
14:54whatnot schedules like the dream trip to
14:56go to their jobs this is for that anime
14:58you know what
14:59i mean it was the inspiration when we
15:01went there though we just kind of took
15:03up all the culture because
15:05through the anime you kind of see little
15:06glimpses of what the culture is actually
15:08like so then we just want to kind of
15:10experience all that so it was a good
15:11time definitely worth going back for
15:13definitely definitely um
15:16hobbies what do you like to do okay so
15:19besides the anime um
15:21besides that we
15:23would play video games we actually just
15:25got like a virtual reality
15:28headset thingy for like the computer
15:31um that was kind of fun
15:33what kind of games you play
15:34oh god back in the day
15:37we played call of duty a lot like back
15:39in the day and then we got out of that
15:41so just starting to get to like which
15:43system is
15:44playstation oh playstation then we went
15:46to xbox because that was like what a
15:48couple of our friends had and then we
15:50went back to playstation and then me and
15:51my brother got into pc gaming we're on
15:54that we just play like mobas which are
15:56like strategy type games rpg type games
16:00so i've got to ask that you're in these
16:01games
16:02did you hack
16:03did i hack you guys
16:05did you and your brother had games with
16:16[Music]
16:21i mean we would use like um
16:23like glitches or something like that
16:25when we would play on the pc
16:27where you could like have no recoil or
16:29you know
16:30it would like auto aim or something like
16:32that
16:33so some guesses answer
16:36but we didn't we didn't hack other
16:37people's accounts
16:39i've seen people in the middle of an
16:41xbox game
16:43they'll tell you that they'll find
16:44somebody that's cheating and they'll
16:46you'll see this big hand come in and
16:47grab them they say come over here
16:49against this section of the game and the
16:51guy's splattered against the wall and
16:52they just stand there and they shoot him
16:54he dies and he comes right back there oh
16:55you're not one of those guys
16:57all right all right all right
16:58unfortunately there's no question i have
16:59a big problem you probably got me before
17:02so you guys play a lot of of the pc
17:04games yeah we started getting the pc
17:06games primarily we kind of i haven't
17:08turned on my playstation in months
17:11um i think the only other game that we
17:12really played was fortnight but then
17:14that was starting to get to like it's a
17:16big deal right now yeah the young kids
17:18are all over and and actually yeah
17:20during the time that i was um
17:22that i wasn't working as a nurse i tried
17:24to do the whole twitch streaming thing
17:26what is that um
17:28i'm sorry i don't know what kind of we
17:30have to explain a lot of this to us with
17:31uh with twitch it's you got your mic and
17:34then you have your face cam and then
17:36basically people are just watching you
17:37play whatever game you're gonna say that
17:38you're playing okay and then you know
17:40they can donate they can subscribe to
17:42you which then you get like a monthly
17:43payment
17:44um or anybody doing that for you i had
17:47like a i think i was up to like 30
17:49something subscribers and what what
17:51would you charge them on uh
17:53with with subscriptions there's four
17:55tiers of it uh tier one is just five
17:57dollars so right when you see that you
17:59oh blank subscribe to you get five
18:01dollars uh monthly or just total
18:04actually it's everything to which page
18:05you're every 45 days because you're like
18:06an independent
18:08self-employed people saying with their
18:09account though they subscribe to you
18:11would be for a 30-day period yeah so
18:13every 30 days they owe you another five
18:15bucks if they resubscribe
18:17so then there was that uh tier two was
18:19like ten dollars two or three was
18:21fifteen then somebody tier four it was
18:2424 i think and what does that get you
18:26for
18:26all all the higher tiers do is they give
18:28you like more emotes like little things
18:30you can put in chat so when you're
18:32playing everybody who's in your room can
18:34chat about you know what you're doing or
18:36you know anything random
18:37um
18:39and then donations are just can range
18:41from one cent up to however
18:44what were we making off of twitch a
18:45month
18:46nothing really significant it was like
18:48so yeah you said about 30 people at one
18:50time yeah subscribe to you so minimum
18:52what
18:54then a few 155
18:56uh
18:57but primarily i guess just keeping
18:59myself busy right doing something
19:00there's a lot of money in there are
19:02these
19:02are these adult students or kids
19:05they're in their early 20s
19:07there's
19:10and thousands of streamers uh who do
19:12that on twitch but there's maybe like
19:14five that made six figures
19:16and then
19:18like the two most prominent ones are
19:19ninja and tim the tatman
19:21and they both play fortnite uh like
19:24ninja i think makes 300 grand a month
19:28from just 300 grand yeah and where's he
19:30ends
19:32like where does he live no
19:34u.s japan somewhere oh yeah he's us i
19:36think he lives up by chicago or
19:38something like that
19:39and but he's only he's only 24. no
19:41oblivious to all this computer stuff no
19:43yeah we played atari when i was younger
19:46yeah nice retro gaming or hogs
19:49pong yes first
19:52so you you do that and
19:55so you got a lot of computer knowledge
19:57a good amount you know i mean oh more
19:59than the average person yeah yeah i'm
20:01computer savvy yeah yeah uh computer
20:03home good
20:04computer i have it yeah i have a gaming
20:05pc up in my room um
20:08and then there's another gaming pc
20:10downstairs that we just built for the vr
20:13specifically you guys build it yeah
20:16and then uh but i mean yeah even like my
20:18gaming pc like we would buy all the
20:19parts and then we would put it together
20:20our own what wait what what would a good
20:22one cost you
20:23when i built mine it was
20:25about three grand and then the gaming
20:28one downstairs i think was
20:31four thousand or like forty five hundred
20:33and that's basically used within the vr
20:35stuff yeah yeah yeah that was pretty
20:37neat yeah yeah that was a lot of fun
20:39yeah that was cool
20:40getting into the pedagogy
20:42on virtual reality it was primarily just
20:44beat saber so it's like a rhythm based
20:47game like guitar hero like rock
20:49rocksmith or rock band whatever it was
20:52um and then you just use the virtual
20:54reality wands to hit the the cubes in a
20:56certain way however the song beats going
20:59and

21:02yeah apart from that uh we really didn't
21:05get into too many other games yes we
21:07were kind of just focused on beat saber
21:09but i think we had downloaded a few
21:10other where it's just like
21:12you're going through like a world and
21:14you can interact with the world or
21:16something like that
21:17what other hobbies yes
21:19besides that um
21:21a number of years ago like me and my
21:23brother were actually uh like gun
21:25enthusiasts and you know we got
21:28we did it wrong where we did it all
21:30during when the
21:32the season was like high so everything
21:34cost so much money cutting season yeah i
21:36guess so i mean for unfortunately we
21:38don't we don't hunt or anything like
21:39that but um we would go like clay
21:42shooting
21:43um where'd you get
21:45them primarily primarily the place we
21:47went to is uh quail creek plantation
21:50where's that
21:52like i was telling you the car i don't
21:53remember the
21:54local or is it it's like an hour and a
21:56half away from here you know what
21:57county's in our city um
22:00creek plantation the only place i know
22:02gun range i really know i mean that you
22:03do stuff like that is out in geneva
22:06geneva right yeah i think there's one
22:07out there
22:08i mean that might be where it is but i
22:10don't remember the city specifically uh
22:12but we would do the clay shooting and
22:13then we were part of the volus county
22:16gun and shooting i love ourselves yeah
22:18whatever
22:19but that was like two years ago
22:22um the only thing that we really kept up
22:23with was clay shooting
22:25but even that i don't think we've done
22:27that for like eight months or something
22:28what were you shooting what were you
22:29what what was your gun for that would
22:31you like uh me and my brother both got
22:33the benelli
22:35uh like long
22:36supernote super
22:38magnum super
22:41uh we both had those and then
22:44during the time where like i was
22:46struggling like in the last six months i
22:47mean i sold all of my guns
22:49what did you have
22:50what did i get a little gun collection
22:52going i did i had um i had about four
22:55ars uh they were all just where you
22:58would buy like the different parts again
22:59kind of like with the pc and then just
23:00put them all together because i'm not
23:03going like that
23:04why so many hours
23:06i mean again it was we were just like an
23:07enthusiast for wanting to build our own
23:09things and just kind of seeing what we
23:11will you know you might have already
23:12made we would buy the specific parts and
23:15then have them sent to the the gun clubs
23:17or whatever so that you could pick them
23:18up um and then yeah and then we put them
23:20all together you put them you guys build
23:22them yourself you have to be doing it
23:23for you no no no so you had four yards
23:25what'd you have
23:26um besides that i had uh benally m4
23:30uh
23:31shot shotgun yeah
23:32tactical shotgun one's in that form
23:35that was just that was like our space
23:37that was just our gun that like me and
23:39my brother both had one of those
23:41yeah and then
23:43we had um
23:44that had always just been our dream gun
23:45that we just wanted to have with them a
23:47tactical m4
23:49we took it to the range a couple of
23:50times just to make it
23:51like i've got an m1 oh nice yeah but the
23:54m4 is much nicer yeah
23:56um and then we have the supernovas which
23:58we just use for clay shooting and then
24:01uh pistols wise
24:05i had
24:08i think four or five just pistols
24:10yeah i had a glock
24:1317 i believe it was
24:16um i had uh
24:22it's not the shield
24:25it's a smith and wesson m9
24:27something i don't remember what it is
24:30and then i had a
24:32taurus
24:34which was i think like a 40 cal 45
24:36caliber and then i had uh again it's
24:39like the dream gun that i always wanted
24:41was the uh
24:44the fn tactical 45
24:48looks like the threaded barrel and all
24:49that stuff
24:50um tv gun yeah exactly no no no
24:53suppressors or anything like that
24:54because again during that time it's like
24:56to get your stamp alone would take six
24:58months and then you gotta wait however
25:00long to get that back so we never got we
25:02never got that deep into it
25:04um still have them all you said you got
25:06rid of something i sold all my guests
25:08yeah which sums it up uh

25:18uh they have one and god i am just it's
25:20some ormond beach
25:22beach that's the one you took them over
25:24and sold them yeah tell them all at one
25:25time or no no just because i didn't want
25:28to go in with too many right then i felt
25:29like they didn't look at you like who's
25:31this guy with all these guns yeah or
25:32they would they would like
25:34cut me a lower deal because i've given
25:36them like a whole bunch what'd you get
25:38for the rs
25:39ars unfortunately like it wasn't that
25:41much it was only like
25:43three grand or something like that
25:45yeah just because they're like you spend
25:46on anything way more like at least
25:48double
25:49because again we bought them during the
25:51height of the season and then i'm
25:52selling apparently where it's like not a
25:54good season to sell and they told me
25:57that if they're not
25:58just like
26:00like companies that i can't even think
26:02of one like companies that make their
26:03own and they're just like a fool like
26:05this whole gun is all by this company or
26:07whatever
26:08those apparently sell for more than like
26:10a custom one because some people might
26:13not like what i put on it you know
26:15so um
26:16i think that's why i probably think
26:17about the hand guys would you even know
26:19hand guns was maybe like
26:22total was like fifteen hundred dollars
26:24or something like that a lot more than
26:25those and the fn alone was sixteen
26:27hundred dollars by all mall news yeah
26:29all know the the rivals you put together
26:32rifles we put you down to customize them
26:33yeah
26:34guns handguns were brand new shotguns
26:36were new we were getting dragons what
26:38would you get for them for for the m4
26:40that one was like the highest one i
26:41think they gave me like 1100 for it
26:44about 15.
26:47um and then for the uh the supernova it
26:50was only about 700 but that one cost
26:52about 1200
26:53and that one
26:55i think we actually had to get from
26:56gander mountain
26:57um
26:58way back when you have any of these left
27:00anything or you he did keep anything for
27:02yourself no no i ended up covering
27:04everything got
27:06i was just trying to get some semblance
27:08of money in
27:09um keep up with your payments keep up
27:11with my payments but also because like
27:13the the whole trip was coming down the
27:15line
27:16um
27:16you know my brother had to like foot the
27:19bill for the to get the attorney
27:22um so you know it's like there was a lot
27:24of stuff what do you think you turned
27:25you know i think it was eight thousand
27:26dollars for the
27:28holding holding the attorney right
27:30retainer retainership and basically she
27:32had to do nothing she had to do nothing
27:34and
27:35um
27:37he got like annoyed because
27:39he like he apparently wasn't told that
27:42it was non-refundable but i right like i
27:44know that i told him because like i send
27:46in the documents signing and saying this
27:48is not refund i've known
27:50any attorney that takes a retainer that
27:51ever gives you anything back yeah so
27:54i didn't hire me that's what it's gonna
27:55cost yeah i didn't he didn't get
27:56anything back from that unfortunately
27:58and she ended up i think only going
28:00through about 3 000 of it
28:02so because
28:05what was it i think 5 000 was for the
28:07criminal case and then 3 000 was for the
28:10other case if it had to go to the
28:11department of health which that never
28:13had to happen so that 3 000 is just so
28:15you're nursing
28:16so good uh free clearing act it's always
28:18been clear and active it's just the
28:20quintessential you go to that background
28:22check and then they'll see an
28:23outstanding thing even though i have the
28:26paperwork now saying
28:28everything's been dropped he's in the
28:30process of expunging his records did you
28:31have to go in front of the board or
28:32anything no no i didn't have to go
28:34before the judge because one
28:36board of nursing i don't know if any of
28:38this that's good
28:39um
28:40you know even when even when it all went
28:43down on the day where uh i was accused
28:46of that of that felony
28:48you know the uh the cops came in and
28:50then they handcuffed me and they were
28:51like you know you've been charged with
28:53this we're
28:54taking you down to the
28:56it um
28:57orange county the orange county
28:59jail area
29:00you know i'd have the picture taken and
29:02stay in the the
29:04sitting area where they
29:06process you all and everything like that
29:07and
29:08you know i'm using the phones on the
29:11cord you know trying to just pass around
29:14the phone
29:15i'm surrounded by all these guys who are
29:17talking about you know you're a real
29:18criminal yeah
29:20and the first person i call is my dad i
29:23mean my brother and
29:25what is your brother's name cody cody
29:27sorry
29:29um first person i called him and
29:32he was at work at the time but he
29:33answered his phone and i was just like
29:36look
29:37i'm freaking out i've been charged with
29:40this i've been told that my bond is this
29:42and then he i guess he tells
29:45you know whoever was was working that
29:47day with him i gotta i gotta go
29:49so then he uh he calls my mom
29:52he calls my dad
29:54he smooths things over as best as he can
29:56he's just basically saying i'm going to
29:58to pay this
30:00um
30:01and then i think i was there for like
30:02seven hours or something even though it
30:04was paid within like the first hour
30:06right it just takes a little time to get
30:07a lot of paperwork instead of booking in
30:09and in the bond process to go through
30:10right now right
30:12so
30:13that's dismissed you're out looking for
30:15jobs applying free regular
30:17yeah i mean i yeah yeah i'd say pretty
30:18regular anything left in savings nothing
30:21less than savings i think i had like
30:22three four hundred dollars uh but this
30:24is a brother kind of helping you through
30:26yeah i mean brother was helping me my
30:28dad was covering um the rent that he
30:30called it which is just like the monthly
30:32payment to for us to help since we all
30:34live at home what was that what was your
30:35favorite six hundred dollars a month
30:37yeah
30:38and then um it's not a bad deal isn't it
30:41no and then i mean he was he was
30:43covering like cell phone we were paying
30:45for our own internet
30:47um
30:49i imagine for that game concept you
30:50gotta have better than basic basic
30:52internet didn't you yeah unfortunately
30:54out where we live it's it's like our
30:57street like the street coming down i
30:59think for christmas before you turn in
31:01like that's the dividing line everything
31:04before you turn into fort christmas all
31:06the nice big fancy houses that are on
31:08that side
31:09they all have spectrum and the gigabyte
31:11connections they have everything
31:12available to them but then right when
31:14you come down here where i guess the
31:15older neighborhoods are they haven't
31:17branched out everything so i think it
31:19was just a t
31:21that was providing service and i mean we
31:22have the highest one but it's still like
31:25i think it was 50 megabytes
31:27downloaded like 10 megabytes upload so i
31:29mean it's not that great but it was
31:30basically all your computer systems were
31:32underworked for what yeah their
31:34capabilities yeah oh yeah yeah so i'm
31:36sure that virtual reality takes up a lot
31:38of
31:38speed doesn't it yeah yeah
31:41um let's see

31:44about coach oh yeah yeah yeah me and
31:46cody he's older you were him he is i'm
31:48the youngest one i'm 29 he's 31. my
31:50oldest brother jason is 35 for 36 now
31:54um
31:55who who lives at home
31:57all three boys no no it's just me and
31:59cody and then mom and dad okay uh tell
32:02me about talk about cody cody
32:04let's see uh me and cody had the
32:06quintessential
32:08rough like
32:10fighting each other and whatnot and
32:11where are you
32:12right typical
32:14but then i would say like my junior year
32:16of high school
32:17we were on the weightlifting team
32:18together uh that's where i got to know a
32:20lot of like his guy friends um
32:23and
32:24you know we just we stopped like arguing
32:27at that point and then
32:29we all you know we decided to go to
32:30nursing school together we decided to go
32:32to the
32:33nurse anesthesia school together
32:34um
32:36i mean we did everything together i mean
32:38we were a better student
32:39he was the better student in
32:42everything up through nursing school and
32:44then i was actually the better student
32:46in nurse anesthesia school
32:48but uh there was like a
32:50again kind of like are you guys sorry
32:52are you guys at the same time in the
32:55same classes yeah
32:56so you're
32:58not not for nursing school not for
32:59nursing no i mean for the anesthesia
33:01yeah we sat right next to each other so
33:02you're in there doing things together so
33:04you got somebody to study with yeah
33:05somebody to work to bounce things off of
33:07them yeah and we would do that all the
33:09time we're burning the midnight oil but
33:11you were better at it
33:12yeah uh and that was the one time that
33:14he actually admitted that i was uh
33:16didactically more
33:18competent than him in that field
33:20um
33:22and then who's better than weightlifting
33:24he was okay he he broke a number of
33:27school records
33:29uh i think he was like the 129 weight
33:31class that was the 119 weight class
33:33but uh he was he was definitely stronger
33:36than uh in
33:37high school
33:38and then um
33:41but yeah uh we were
33:43close i mean
33:44i mean like bonded you know um
33:47i don't really know how else to really
33:48say it was a lot of people thought that
33:50it was weird
33:51because we did everything together and
33:53because we were so close but
33:56yeah i mean a lot of people understand
33:58the bond of brother though yeah the true
33:59bond if you're closing and i mean during
34:01like this whole time i mean kind of like
34:02with just a few examples i've given you
34:04he was he'd take care of everything
34:07there for you yeah always there to
34:08support you always there
34:10um fight with you one minute but make
34:12sure that you were not stuck in jail for
34:14some silly charge right nice
34:16and um
34:18yeah i mean he was just
34:20he's always been there for me so
34:23with my oldest brother jason not so much
34:24just because he was
34:26adopted to begin with um
34:29and then
34:31he was adopted by who my dad he was my
34:33mom's son
34:34mom married before your dad no no just
34:37hadn't just had him
34:39um
34:40and then he was heavily restricted when
34:42we were younger uh for for lying and
34:44stuff like that to her dad
34:46so basically he was like
34:48uh he would go to school and then he'd
34:50come home he'd have to stay in his room
34:52there's like no tv or anything like that
34:54especially enough you know 15 years ago
34:56or something like that
34:57but um he would come down for dinner and
34:59then he'd go back up and he'd do his
35:00work uh on the weekends and whatnot he
35:03would like go out and pick weeds and
35:05like do that stuff and then come in and
35:06then do the same thing so unfortunately
35:09me and cody never really got to interact
35:11with jason the oldest brother a whole
35:14lot
35:15but i mean jason's been
35:18like i think he's one of the most
35:19genuine people that you'd ever meet he's
35:22cody's definitely you're way closer with
35:25yeah yeah live hands down handsome go on
35:27vacations he's helping with bills
35:29helping with with the legal issues right
35:31and i mean studying together together we
35:33yeah did everything together connected
35:35at the hip
35:36any
35:36issues really with him
35:38no like i was saying during this last
35:40six months it had been a very trying
35:42time um you know financially trying to
35:45get the job thing going worrying about
35:48this whole what's going to happen with
35:49this legal stuff
35:51um
35:52but like even through it all i mean
35:55he would like have his moments where he
35:57would get
35:58extremely upset like uh
36:01like you know he never gets
36:03violent i guess you could say but like
36:05at one point he got so upset that he
36:08like pushed the cabinet and then it like
36:09dented into the wall
36:11um and he i mean so he'll like lose his
36:13temper kind of my dad but
36:15um
36:17yeah i mean at least with me he's always
36:19been
36:21like where he's he's there for me like
36:24whatever it takes regardless of what's
36:26happening i'm gonna take care of it for
36:28you
36:29um
36:30and i mean
36:32over like the last six months i mean
36:34it's
36:35it's been sad for me because like i see
36:39everything that like he's doing and like
36:42i can't
36:43be like how i've always been with him
36:45where you know i'm i'm helping out too
36:48or i can do something for you right you
36:50know where we're kind of on the same
36:52playing field
36:53i know you should make more money than
36:54me and all that kind of stuff but it's
36:55like
36:56you know we can do the stuff together
36:58you don't have to pay for my dinner you
36:59know when we go out with the guys you
37:00don't have to pay for the trip you know
37:03it's just so you know i couldn't help
37:05relieving stress i guess as well as i
37:07always used to and also the camaraderie
37:10yeah you got your brother to go do stuff
37:11with right but then i mean i know for me
37:14i had been bummed out just because like
37:16i've been out of work i've you know my
37:17whole life it's been
37:19school work school back to work and then
37:23just
37:24i mean that's it you know sacrifice all
37:26my 20s and everyone tailgating or
37:27anything like that do you have any
37:29issues with depression over all the
37:31legal issues and beyond i would say that
37:33i was depressed but um
37:36you know i'd always put on the put on
37:37the happy face for like my brother and
37:40how would you deal with this person
37:42you know i i talk to god uh i try and
37:46just rationalize it in my head that you
37:48know
37:49i haven't heard anything from this
37:50attorney in five months six months i
37:53mean you'd think that if it was
37:54something so severe that you would heard
37:56about it by now
37:57um so i was just trying to rationalize
37:59to myself that
38:02hopefully this can all get taken care of
38:03and then i can get back i was looking
38:05towards the future you know like then i
38:07can do like what i'm doing now where
38:09applying
38:11you know everybody likes me when they
38:13talk to me and they look at my resume
38:14and they see all my experience and then
38:16just waiting for if i get the call back
38:18well you know of course i'm sure you
38:20know this you've got that little blemish
38:22yeah over no fault in yours it goes away
38:25but still it's there they can see it
38:26right and then you have to explain away
38:28right here
38:29even though
38:31it was dropped you still have that that
38:33little check mark that they you've got
38:34to get by right and then that's that's
38:36stuff that to be go from what you were
38:38and you're working towards you know the
38:40job your brother has right and you know
38:43the financial gains you the difference
38:44between the nurse and the program you're
38:46going to it's it's it's a huge burden on
38:48your course yeah you take any medication
38:50for the depression no no never i never
38:52took any uh even test medicate no i
38:55never took any antidepressants or
38:56anything like that i think um the only
38:58thing just because like sleeping was
39:00kind of off and on at a time
39:02i would take like um
39:04um like benadryl just like help me go to
39:05sleep back at home and then
39:08when um
39:10i think the only other thing is like
39:12sleep aid which is again it's just
39:14different hydramine
39:16you know secondary side effect is just
39:18drowsiness it's not like it's actual
39:19purpose and then melatonin just to help
39:22with the sleep cycle because i work
39:24nights all the time so i was always a
39:26night owl always awake and then now it's
39:28like trying to get back into trying to
39:30because yeah i'd be going to days
39:32um but that's the only thing i ever took
39:34and then advil ibuprofen for like
39:36headaches but no antidepressants no
39:38medical history none of that type of
39:40stuff but you and cody since you've been
39:41adults any any physical fistfights
39:43anything no when we were super young but
39:46besides that no
39:47yeah yeah um
39:50so living at home is who
39:53me cody
39:57my mom has uh
40:00she's always been the uh
40:02it's kind of like cody she's always been
40:03the one that
40:05focused on me
40:07and um
40:09she i mean she she worked at home she uh
40:13what she did she was
40:15god i do not like a
40:18something manager like a client manager
40:20for nuanced transcription
40:22company basically
40:25uh nuance their major thing is medical
40:27transcription okay so it's just all the
40:29the
40:29things that the doctors are saying while
40:31you're in the hospital
40:32and then um well we should make sure
40:34that those all got transcribed she would
40:36manage the people who did that who did
40:38all the transcriptions and then she had
40:40a couple people
40:41where there's like the managers over
40:43those people that then she would also
40:44take care of and i think she was in the
40:46stage now where she was kind of
40:48branching out to different
40:50uh countries so she had just gotten like
40:52this canada account i think where she
40:54had to basically do the same thing but
40:55now it's just all she had a job oh yeah
40:57good paying job it sounds like and yeah
41:00she only
41:02i think she told me that she completed
41:05high school but if she didn't then she
41:07didn't have a high school diploma or she
41:08did i honestly can't remember
41:10and with that
41:12when she first started doing everything
41:14like with my dad and she was just
41:15medical transcriptionist so she wasn't
41:17she's making like 35 000 a year or
41:19something like that um but now she had
41:21worked her way all the way up to making
41:24about ninety thousand dollars a year
41:27at this job trust will tell
41:29you know hard work
41:30yeah i'd hear complain and
41:33do all that stuff
41:34where was her office at uh
41:37you come down the staircase and then
41:39it's right to the right so it's like
41:40it's got like a potted plant in there
41:42it's got like a bay window oh the green
41:44one no i don't think office oh she
41:54so it's like it's like where like all of
41:56our internet and crap is like the long
41:59home office yeah
42:01it was like originally a dining room but
42:02then it was transitioned into like her
42:04office
42:05and the lights and fusses with mom
42:07no i mean when were you the baby you
42:09were truly the family baby for my mom
42:12yeah okay for my mom
42:14um i'm a favorite yeah and i mean i had
42:17been being told that because again it's
42:19like this last six or seven months was
42:20just like stressful for everybody sure
42:22and
42:24you know countless times my dad would
42:26like come up to me
42:28and he'd make like me feel
42:32like he trying to use things and word
42:34things to make me feel guilty so that
42:36i would
42:37you know do everything that i can like a
42:39job almost like a motivation right
42:41uh and he he'd tell me time and time
42:44again that you know you're her favorite
42:46i mean she would do anything for you
42:48and
42:49i mean it's like yeah i don't need to
42:50hear that i mean that's not what would
42:52motivate me sure um but no with mom
42:56i think we yelled at each other a grand
42:58total of like three or four times my
43:00whole life
43:01um
43:02i've never like yelled at her
43:05for anything because i mean she's never
43:06done anything wrong she's always been
43:08the one who's stood by you stood by me
43:10but tried you know even during our early
43:12childhood when
43:14it was really rough with our dad
43:16uh
43:18my dad's the leo taipei
43:20italian
43:22personality man he's very focused on his
43:26future
43:28um he's very focused on everything that
43:30he's sacrificed in his life
43:33for the better betterment of all of us
43:35um
43:37you know he's always dreamed of going
43:38hiking up in the mountains they have a
43:39property up in tennessee that they built
43:42and
43:43i've actually me and cody and jason have
43:45never been up to that house just cause
43:46then mom and dad hide that from me
43:48that's our secret hideaway a little bit
43:50no kids allowed a little bit but i mean
43:52they have you seen the picture then oh
43:54yeah yeah
43:55um it's nice it's like i think my dad
43:57has emphasized that it's about half the
43:58size of the house out in julio where we
44:01all grew up
44:03um but it's i mean super modern it's got
44:06like the brick layout on the whole thing
44:08it's on
44:09like four or six acres or something like
44:12that is this is
44:13and where's that
44:14tennessee he's in tennessee and it's um
44:17is this is this something is what a
44:19place like they rent the rental cabin
44:20areas for a lot of touristy people no no
44:22it's very secluded it's uh
44:25god i can why am i so terrible
44:27remembering these things it is
44:32it's like an hour out from gatlinburg
44:37it's very secluded it's like you see a
44:39house like on the satellite thing and
44:41then it's got like acres and acres and
44:43acres of trees and then you might see
44:44like another house right over there
44:46and then off like the back end of their
44:48property they would send us pictures
44:49where it's got like the the guard rail
44:51but it overlooks like a valley
44:54so
44:55um
44:56that property had actually been causing
44:58my dad a lot of stress because i think
44:59it's been built for like five or six
45:01years
45:02he only goes up there once every month
45:04once every couple months just to do
45:05maintenance not to like enjoy it
45:07and then every
45:09like other month him and my mom would go
45:11up there for like a week
45:13um
45:14but again it's like my mom would always
45:15just be like you know i'm working every
45:17day like we're doing stuff in the yard
45:19we're clearing this clearing that they
45:21need to enjoy that right and then my dad
45:23apparently there was like this hog issue
45:25up there that it's been destroying his
45:26lawn you know everything that they're
45:27maintaining
45:29so um
45:30you know he's he was like stressing
45:32about all the money that that's costing
45:34him and
45:36um
45:37yeah so
45:39so like yeah i guess back to your

45:45always like if there was somebody that i

47:22from oh sorry and then he was
47:25uh like iv home infusion with florida
47:27hospital's home in fusion group for only
47:30about two or three years
47:32um he was fired from that for being
47:36like i guess to not like soft but like
47:39an [ __ ] uh because he would like
47:42like his manager something was just like
47:44young woman and then she was giving him
47:46crap and then he's like i've been a
47:49pharmacist for this many years like i
47:50don't and you're younger than it's like
47:51i don't have to listen to you you know
47:53so i guess he blew up one day when he
47:54was down at work
47:56and then um
47:58because of that he ended up getting
48:00fired and then he was out of work for
48:01about three months
48:03and then he was trying to get back into
48:05the hospital system trying to do home
48:06infusion again
48:08but because of how old he is and because
48:11he has an rph degree which was the
48:13original pharmacist's degree he doesn't
48:15have a new pharmd
48:17um
48:18he just issue up there that it's been

51:32doesn't want to get re-certified in
51:33tennessee
51:34and even work part-time like what what
51:36his dad does
51:37um what do you mean was his dad there
51:39his dad's also a pharmacist but he
51:41originally hired he lived in florida and
51:44then now he lives in south carolina and
51:46he just works part-time as a pharmacist
51:48but he got the whole recertification so
51:50he keep doing that right um
51:53dad make good money
51:55uh i think he would tell me that he
51:57makes like between 110 and 120 000 a
51:59year not bad money so yeah it's not bad
52:02um
52:03well i'm sure
52:04his mom you're both happy to see
52:06you know that both of you going to that
52:07program right you can make more you
52:08always want your child to do better than
52:10you right and i mean
52:11you know that was what my dad always
52:13emphasized when he was when we were

52:20we were heavily restricted but we were
52:22allowed to do some things like it wasn't
52:24like jason's situation where he was just
52:26like like
52:27the door's locked you know you're
52:28staying in there type thing
52:30um and who was that who was who was
52:33keeping um
52:35who was the disciplinary in the family
52:37my dad
52:38was he's the one inside jason stays yes
52:41locked in yeah what'd mom think about
52:42that mom
52:44didn't approve it obviously but back in
52:47that time my dad was a very
52:51like angry violent type person
52:53overbearing overbearing
52:55um you know he would he would like push
52:58my mom and like one instance you know
53:02it was getting to that age where me and
53:03cody were kind of getting old enough to
53:05maybe be able to do something if she
53:06needed our help
53:08and
53:08uh
53:09i remember
53:10her and my dad were like in their room
53:13which if you go down the stairs it's
53:14right there to the left
53:16um
53:17we heard our mom yell that he's hurting
53:19me he's hurting me and then me and cody
53:21run downstairs and we go into the room
53:24and then we're trying to get our dad off
53:26of our mom and then my dad elbows back
53:28and that's why my nose has got its
53:29little like bridge
53:31right there
53:32um
53:33but i mean that's like how he was like
53:35spankings with a two by four
53:37um
53:38you know like baseball practice it'd be
53:40like four or five hours and he's
53:43hurling the ball as fast as an adult can
53:46and we're like
53:47seventh eighth grade trying to catch
53:48this stuff
53:50um
53:52yeah i mean definitely very overbearing
53:53but he would always rationalize that
53:55he's just trying to like secure our
53:57future
53:59violent towards the family violent
54:01towards my mom and towards me never took
54:04and towards jason
54:05but never to cody why
54:08um i mean cody his favorite yeah i mean
54:12three boys yeah
54:13and with that i mean i could kind of see
54:16it but cody also never really made any
54:19mistakes he did a few things wrong he
54:21lied a few times
54:23you know he cost my dad some money a few
54:24times but
54:26he was never like a repeat offender i
54:27guess you could say whereas me and jason
54:30you know we had that difficulty where
54:32it's like okay we got a c or we got a d
54:34on something and i just don't want to
54:35tell dad about it sure but then he would
54:37find out and then
54:39you know dad ever abused you
54:41when we were younger um so
54:44spankings with like a two by four and
54:46then you know he'd use like uh i mean it
54:49was like a two by four that was
54:51fashioned into a paddle called the
54:52lightning
54:54the lightning rod i think is what it was
54:55called no he he broke it on me
54:58uh
54:59i'd be sorry i would probably think with
55:01my dad take it out and burn it yeah it
55:02didn't happen anymore but um
55:05yeah he would um
55:09you know he'd do that and then he'd push
55:10you around like he wouldn't he wouldn't
55:11punch you he wouldn't bruise you
55:14he never slapped me
55:16but
55:17i guess i should say the only place that
55:18i ever got bruised was on my butt from
55:20from being spanked can't be little you
55:22he would belittle me when i was younger
55:24but again
55:27um
55:33no i mean not really he would just make
55:36me feel bad that
55:38like he would make me feel bad that
55:40cody's doing all this stuff to like um
55:43and you're not and i'm not like i'm not
55:45contributing you're not as not as
55:48valuable maybe right maybe that's not
55:50the way it works but you're you're not
55:52you're not you can't contribute enough
55:53to what needs to be done right and then
55:55but nobody knows better than you that
55:57you want to be alberta you want to have
55:58it i mean
55:59the problem i guess was was that i was i
56:02was always like the jokester the one
56:04that could calm everybody down make
56:05everybody smile if it was a heated
56:07situation i could say a joke or
56:08something and then make everybody kind
56:10of move past it
56:12and i was just in the point where it's
56:13like you know i'm hearing you know all
56:15this stuff from dad i'm seeing how much
56:17code is helping me
56:19you know mom stressed out with her job
56:21and it's like i'm not doing anything and
56:24it's like i'm in that situation where
56:25it's like i'm not not doing something
56:27because i don't want to i'm held out
56:29because i'm waiting for this whole legal
56:31thing to get taken care of and then for
56:33jobs we've been talking for a while you
56:35get stress related to the bathroom or
56:37anything real quick
56:38i'm good
56:39okay 12 hours a day working on the
56:41nervous system
56:47we take those breaks and sometimes it's
56:49time to touch your thoughts because you
56:50know i'm just sitting talking talking
56:51talking talking right thinking about
56:53what you're saying um
56:55i want to make sure you got a break
56:56breaks the name because this isn't the
56:58hospital and oh yeah
57:00you wanna know what i'm gonna do it's
57:00like water and stuff i'm not a breakfast
57:02person okay waters
57:06so
57:09was the last time your dad put his hands
57:10on you
57:13uh the last time my dad put his hands on
57:16me would be
57:21i'd say
57:25kind of the middle of december of 2018.
57:29what happened
57:30it's because um
57:33you know with all the money that have
57:35been getting spent and
57:37um
57:38i guess just the mix of everything that
57:39i've been saying just kind of boiling up
57:41in him
57:42um
57:43and the fact that i was to him it seemed
57:46like i wasn't
57:47concerned about it
57:49so and then plus i was you know i wasn't
57:51acting like myself with the jovialness
57:53and you know all that kind of stuff
57:55um
57:57my
57:57father chose to
57:59admit me to like a like a depression or
58:03an addiction clinic or something like
58:05that in fort lauderdale called
58:06cornerstone when was that that was
58:09december 22nd
58:11okay until i think
58:13uh
58:14january 4th did you agree to go
58:17i i didn't but they said that you know
58:19this was your only
58:20who said my dad okay and i was in fort
58:23lauderdale yes yeah did your mom agree
58:25to it my mom and my brother both agreed
58:29but it was my dad who was like the iron
58:31fist like this is what's gonna happen
58:33like you know you can why did he say you
58:35needed to go what was his reasoning
58:37because
58:38uh with the way that i was
58:40acting he just
58:42he didn't see that i was doing anything
58:44for like the positive
58:46um
58:48you know a lot of it just came back to
58:49money
58:50uh with him
58:52uh he would
58:54he would like allow me to to spend money
58:57that he had like with his credit card or
58:59something like that
59:00but
59:02it's like then whenever i did it was
59:04like a huge problem
59:05okay so you had one of those credit
59:07cards yeah and what were you buying with
59:09it uh well what i was doing is um over
59:13the past
59:15four months or something like that i've
59:17been taught i've been talking to this
59:18woman online
59:20uh she's
59:22as embarrassing as it is she's uh she's
59:23a camp she's a cam model a what a cam
59:26model
59:27you guys know
59:28uh just like all the
59:30videos can't model it's like they they
59:34it's like a virtual girlfriend i guess
59:37you'd say okay like that type of
59:38situation
59:39so
59:40a lot of the money went to her okay
59:42where's she she lives in bulgaria that's
59:45where bulgaria where's that it's over in
59:47europe it's like outside of germany okay
59:50never been there no okay uh there wasn't
59:52it wasn't master what would you give her
59:54money for
59:55um just for like the time online with
59:58her yeah so it was just like that type

1:00:04and how much does it prevent it oh god i
1:00:06think it was like

1:00:12it's like conversion rate for all of

1:00:18six hundred dollars for
1:00:21like a like five thousand or something
1:00:23tokens or something like that so
1:00:25and then it was four hours a night um
1:00:28so i mean it's i mean that's basically
1:00:30just where all the like the cost went to
1:00:31was you pay real money for the tokens
1:00:33then you use the company's digital
1:00:35currency for
1:00:36that so you do this and when did you
1:00:38meet her
1:00:39i met her
1:00:41um
1:00:45at the
1:00:46beginning of july yeah at the very
1:00:48beginning of july
1:00:49okay and and still talking to her so
1:00:53yeah i mean more just on uh like twitter
1:00:55like just through direct messaging
1:00:57um again cell phone service doesn't work
1:00:59so it's like i can't use the
1:01:01chatting right how much do you think you
1:01:03spent
1:01:04on this because it seems kind of pricey
1:01:06yeah
1:01:06ninety tokens and and five five thousand
1:01:09dollars for for how many tokens
1:01:12no no it's uh six hundred dollars for
1:01:14for five thousand five thousand okay so

1:01:26like two hundred thousand dollars
1:01:28i'd say
1:01:29two hundred thousand dollars yeah and
1:01:31where'd the money come from money came
1:01:33from

1:01:35uh my brother and then my dad
1:01:38did they know where the money was going
1:01:39to they didn't know that it was going to
1:01:42uh a cam a camp model i was saying that
1:01:45it was going towards my twitch streaming
1:01:48uh like
1:01:50like yeah like advertising like putting
1:01:52my name out there and that that type of
1:01:53thing
1:01:54but based on what you're telling me only
1:01:56so many people make so much money so
1:01:58just i think just a few and have you
1:02:00make a bunch of money right so that was
1:02:02like that the ultimate goal is to get to
1:02:04that i was hoping that that the stars
1:02:06would align and then i would be like one
1:02:07of those people because i was good at
1:02:09the games and i you know i'm a like a
1:02:11funny pleasant person on the camera and
1:02:13that type of thing
1:02:15so
1:02:16um
1:02:17yeah i mean that's
1:02:19so i guess to like bring it all back
1:02:20with why i was brought to cornerstone
1:02:23uh it was
1:02:24a mix of all of those things it's like
1:02:26he felt like
1:02:29you know i um
1:02:31he felt like he needed to be grounded
1:02:33yeah yeah
1:02:35and
1:02:36so then i was there you know i spoke to
1:02:38like the therapists and psychiatrists
1:02:39and all that stuff i didn't need any
1:02:41medications for anything
1:02:43they had analyzed it as
1:02:45this is an isolated event you've been
1:02:47out of work you have this
1:02:49ptsd from the whole getting arrested
1:02:51saying and i mean the last thing on my
1:02:53record was i think a speeding ticket
1:02:55back when i was at ucf
1:02:57and then you know just having all of
1:02:59that stuff going on
1:03:01um
1:03:03but then i didn't they had signed me
1:03:06they had signed me up i think to be
1:03:08there for 60 days but then i was only
1:03:10there until january 4th so for that my
1:03:13brother cody what was the cost of that
1:03:14you know fifteen thousand
1:03:16it was fifteen thousand dollars and then
1:03:18i think
1:03:19uh when i had gotten back we were going
1:03:21through the process of calling them and
1:03:23seeing if we could get any type of
1:03:24refund and i think they said that he was
1:03:26gonna get refunded three thousand
1:03:27dollars from his fifteen sure um
1:03:30but i don't care right right but i don't
1:03:32know if that transaction had ever gone
1:03:34through yet so their final diagnosis of
1:03:36you was what
1:03:37that i was fine that didn't need to be
1:03:39there yeah that i was i was fine i told
1:03:42them all about like my living situation
1:03:44and how it had been stressful and then
1:03:45it got better and then now it's just
1:03:47stressful again
1:03:48but they had all just said it was just
1:03:50this isolated situational ptsd from
1:03:52right yeah like once you six months once
1:03:54you can get this legal thing taken care
1:03:56of which i i don't know if i mentioned
1:03:58but when we looked online and we saw
1:04:00that all the charges even dropped that
1:04:02was on like november 30th or 31st the
1:04:04day before we were going to japan
1:04:06so
1:04:07well that was good and everything um i
1:04:10still knew that it was still going to be
1:04:12like on your record until you get it
1:04:14expunged
1:04:15so
1:04:16you know i was still thinking okay at
1:04:18least now i can maybe start applying
1:04:19when we get back from japan
1:04:21um
1:04:23but you
1:04:24know yeah so i mean
1:04:27after you get back you got back
1:04:30on the 15th of december of december
1:04:34get back
1:04:36after i thought you said you went on the
1:04:3722nd right number yeah that's that's
1:04:39what that's when i went to yeah it was
1:04:41after japan and it was because when i
1:04:43had gotten back
1:04:45my um my mom and dad were you know
1:04:48dealing with a lot of the financial
1:04:50stuff while we were up there
1:04:51and then um
1:04:53when i got back that's where my dad
1:04:55started to get really kind of
1:04:57overbearing and i mean rightfully so i
1:04:58know what i did
1:05:00but
1:05:00it's like with him it was every single
1:05:02day hours a day excuse me hours a day
1:05:05he'd come home from work and then he
1:05:07would just
1:05:08talk to me just about the same exact
1:05:10thing over and over and over and over
1:05:11and over again
1:05:12and did did he get heated he would get
1:05:15heated but he didn't
1:05:17no i mean i was
1:05:18you know i i was always the person in
1:05:20the family where like my brother cody
1:05:22would interrupt my dad when he was
1:05:24talking uh my mom would interject and
1:05:27say you can't be saying that or whatever
1:05:29but for me i would just sit there and i
1:05:30would just let my dad talk so that he
1:05:31could say everything that he wanted to
1:05:32say
1:05:34and then if i saw that it was something
1:05:35that he wanted me to respond to then i'd
1:05:37respond but i would never be heeded to
1:05:39him sure especially if i felt like i was
1:05:40in the wrong right
1:05:42um do well as you think you were in the
1:05:43world
1:05:44i mean yeah to some extent to some
1:05:46extent you know uh spending that amount
1:05:48of money it's idiotic to do that you
1:05:50know especially when you're not making
1:05:52200 000 right when was the last time
1:05:54that you and your dad did have
1:05:56you know
1:05:57a heated conversation uh it would be
1:06:01thursday thursday
1:06:03uh because
1:06:05one of his rules was that i wasn't
1:06:07allowed to talk to the woman anymore
1:06:09that i had been talking to
1:06:10um
1:06:11but
1:06:13i guess you could say behind the scenes
1:06:15my mom would let me talk to her through
1:06:17her cell phone using twitter
1:06:19um
1:06:21and you know
1:06:22she would tell me like look you gotta
1:06:24keep it
1:06:25you have to keep it just basic because
1:06:27if you say anything or if you
1:06:30entice anything or do anything like that
1:06:31it might lead her
1:06:33to
1:06:35say something to like my dad or
1:06:37something like that because she's in
1:06:38touch with him because apparently when i
1:06:40was in cornerstone my dad
1:06:43told her because because he had like
1:06:45hacked my computer or something like
1:06:47that and then he found every electronics
1:06:49guy like you and your brother except
1:06:50he's more of that like hacking level
1:06:52like able to do all that stuff
1:06:54so he had found you know
1:06:56um
1:06:58like just the stuff that was related to
1:07:00her
1:07:01and then
1:07:02you know he like he like erased my whole
1:07:04entire computer he put a password on it
1:07:07so it's like even when i came back up
1:07:09until thursday like i wasn't able to go
1:07:10into my own computer to look at anything
1:07:13he's treating you like a small child
1:07:14right and
1:07:16rightfully so i mean spending that
1:07:18amount of i was acting childish i can
1:07:20kind of get it
1:07:21but um
1:07:23so yeah anyways on thursday he had
1:07:25apparently found out that i was speaking
1:07:28to her again and when i came back on the
1:07:314th
1:07:32me my mom picked me up from the
1:07:34cornerstone place and then me and my mom
1:07:37met my dad at california pizza grill or
1:07:40kitchen in waterford lakes
1:07:42and he had this list
1:07:44front and back on a piece of paper of
1:07:47all the rules this is what's going to
1:07:48happen this is why i'm acting the way
1:07:50that i'm going to act i'm not going to
1:07:51be dad anymore i'm going to be chad
1:07:54and
1:07:55i basically told him
1:07:57that i'm going to be
1:07:59i'm going to be present i'm going to do
1:08:00what i can i'm going to start trying to
1:08:02get jobs now i told him what my plan was
1:08:05um
1:08:06you know it wasn't really my intention
1:08:08to continue talking to this woman but
1:08:11it just kind of happened
1:08:13um
1:08:14and then because there was like that
1:08:15emotional connection i guess you could
1:08:16say between her and me like i
1:08:19i like you know i felt like like like a
1:08:21relationship you know i didn't want to
1:08:22just stop cold turkey honest
1:08:25um
1:08:26so
1:08:27he had apparently found out and then
1:08:30happy right and one of the stipulations
1:08:32was that he told the dinner was
1:08:34if you speak to this woman again you're
1:08:37out of the house i'm kicking you out
1:08:39you can pack up your [ __ ] and then
1:08:41you're off my property
1:08:43and then because of the way that he used
1:08:45to be he had told me that
1:08:49basically if that happens that if i ever
1:08:51step back onto his property that he
1:08:53would kill me
1:08:54so
1:08:56you know
1:08:56on thursday
1:08:58um
1:09:01that all happened and then i was in the
1:09:03process i was getting all my stuff
1:09:05together i was piecemealing it out to
1:09:07the car
1:09:08and then uh
1:09:10you know i knit
1:09:11review on friday so i had to get my suit
1:09:14out to my car i was trying to just get
1:09:15all of my necessities as best as i could
1:09:17from you know a lifetime of living
1:09:20inside out
1:09:21and then um
1:09:24um
1:09:26my brother was working that night and i
1:09:28think he was working like one of his
1:09:30long nights but he ended up getting off
1:09:31early
1:09:32and then i had met with my brother
1:09:34before he came home just like in the
1:09:37neighborhood area
1:09:39and then
1:09:40it was just on the uh
1:09:42like the back side of the house like a
1:09:44long i don't remember what that road's
1:09:45going but it's like you take the bend
1:09:47where it has those two blinking lights
1:09:49and then it's just down that road always
1:09:51not for christmas
1:09:53it's like before christmas when you
1:09:55still turn the corner i think so i'm not
1:09:58sure i think so well it was yeah it was
1:10:00just it was just down that road
1:10:02um
1:10:04and then i basically brought him up to
1:10:06speed and he had told me that he was
1:10:08going to do whatever time was anything
1:10:11uh
1:10:12god what time was that what what time

1:10:15backup to say and i apologize
1:10:17you mom and dad go to california pizza
1:10:20kitchen in waterford at what time
1:10:22oh that was all the way back on january
1:10:244th

1:10:29i had come back from cornerstone and he
1:10:31was giving me the the rules okay okay so
1:10:34we'll do thursday then that what
1:10:36happened that thursday that you meet
1:10:37with cody down the street is this past
1:10:39thursday yeah okay tell me tell me about
1:10:41that after you and your dad argue after
1:10:43me and my dad had argued and he had
1:10:45told me you know this is how it's going
1:10:47to be and you know all that stuff okay
1:10:49um this is at the house this past
1:10:51thursday yes sir yeah okay because this
1:10:54is what now saturday so yeah right yeah
1:10:56past thursday i got you good stuff
1:10:58um
1:11:00so
1:11:01then yeah i spoke with cody he told me
1:11:03about
1:11:04all that he had given me his debit so
1:11:07that
1:11:07because i mean i don't have any money
1:11:09and i don't know where to go
1:11:10you know i've never been out of the
1:11:11house on my own
1:11:13um and then the last thing that i was
1:11:14told was just that you know basically
1:11:16once again that he'll take care of it
1:11:17because this is cody this is cody what
1:11:19time what time is this approximately
1:11:22i'd say a little after
1:11:2610 10 30ish at night
1:11:29thursday night thursday night okay
1:11:31um
1:11:33and then
1:11:35yeah so then after that
1:11:37i just like stayed
1:11:41in that air in the
1:11:43vicinity area for a number of hours and
1:11:46then i had remembered over some of the
1:11:48nights when i would work overnight and
1:11:49then i'd be able to come like get off
1:11:51early
1:11:52that i could that the public's on 50 on
1:11:55colonial
1:11:56the one that's by the tractor supply
1:11:58that's what i can yeah yeah
1:12:00that that publix it's like their guest
1:12:02wi-fi is always still active even when
1:12:04the store closes down so i was like okay
1:12:05well i'm going to go there because i
1:12:06have my surface
1:12:08and i can you know check on my emails i
1:12:10had to pull up the address to my
1:12:13interview because i don't have gps
1:12:15so then i would like write all that
1:12:16stuff down
1:12:18and then um
1:12:20i was basically just waiting in that
1:12:22parking lot until
1:12:24i had to leave to go to the interview
1:12:26um
1:12:28and then i mean that was the last
1:12:29because again it's like no cell phone
1:12:31service
1:12:32uh
1:12:34i mean email was literally like my only
1:12:36form of communication
1:12:37and then
1:12:39you know yeah i just i didn't have any
1:12:42i didn't you know i was i went to the
1:12:44the doubletree because i was like i
1:12:46can't just stay in my car again all
1:12:47night right
1:12:48how did you pay for that i paid for it
1:12:50with my with my debit card with your
1:12:52data card yeah because i think there was
1:12:54like the 400 or 300 and something
1:12:55dollars still left on it okay
1:12:59the doubletree
1:13:03i think i got there around
1:13:08three or four p.m
1:13:10friday friday
1:13:12and then yeah and then i was just i mean
1:13:14i would like go out to my car so i get
1:13:15like bottled water or something like
1:13:17that or if i forgot something you know
1:13:19just like necessity was
1:13:20um and then i was just there the whole
1:13:22night
1:13:24talked to cody talk to mom talk to you
1:13:25no i couldn't talk to anybody because i
1:13:27didn't have but she had the phone in the
1:13:29room
1:13:30oh yeah i did have the fun in the room
1:13:32but
1:13:33i don't know no i just i didn't even
1:13:35honestly think about it because i was i
1:13:37was like
1:13:39you know
1:13:41away from a place where i lived for 25
1:13:43years or something like that i had never
1:13:44you know it's embarrassing as it is i've
1:13:46never been on my own right the longest
1:13:48period i've ever been away from anybody
1:13:50is two weeks when we were up in japan
1:13:52so
1:13:54i mean yeah but yeah your brother with
1:13:55yourself right right yeah so yeah
1:13:58but yeah i mean so
1:14:01i guess i was
1:14:02waiting to see what would happen with
1:14:04this job because i was told i'd either
1:14:05be told tuesday or thursday
1:14:08and then maybe i would try and outreach
1:14:11or something like that or the last time
1:14:13um
1:14:15you know when it was like an issue where
1:14:16i didn't have my phone like my brother
1:14:18would email me so i was just thinking
1:14:20okay i mean if anything he knows the
1:14:22situation he'll just email me so i
1:14:24checked my email a few times last night
1:14:26and then i just inevitably was able to
1:14:28to go to sleep
1:14:29um
1:14:31was it thursday night that your dad told
1:14:33you that if you talked to the girl that
1:14:35he would kick you out or was that the
1:14:36conversation on the fourth at california
1:14:38that was on that was yeah on the fourth
1:14:40and then he just went through with it on
1:14:43thursday okay so so thursday
1:14:46you're home all day yes with your mom
1:14:48she works at home correct yeah your
1:14:50dad's at work what's his normal work
1:14:51hours uh he works until
1:14:55i think he had to go in early that day
1:14:57because he had to start like doing
1:14:58overtime or something like that
1:15:00and
1:15:01he normally works so from like five or
1:15:03six in the morning to
1:15:05i think he gets home between like 5 30
1:15:07and 6 at night or something like that
1:15:09what time do you get him that day
1:15:11uh he got home at like 5 30.

1:15:48watching uh in the virtual reality where
1:15:50you said you had that set up right right
1:15:52i was just watching and that's in what
1:15:53room the living room the living room
1:15:55yeah i was just watching youtube at that
1:15:57time just like

1:16:02where

1:16:05he had
1:16:06i don't know how he found out but he had
1:16:08apparently found out and then saw that
1:16:10letter that i was talking to you're

1:16:42and then he he came out and he told me
1:16:44that i've been doing that yeah
1:16:47um have an argument yeah and then
1:16:50you know he got
1:16:53just
1:16:55he had kind of reverted back to the way
1:16:57that he was when we were younger where
1:16:59you know he kind of you know pulled me
1:17:01up from the couch and then he was
1:17:03yelling at me to pack my [ __ ] up and
1:17:05just get out of the house that he was
1:17:06the one who had to be the hammer
1:17:08and that you know why am i making him
1:17:10have to go through this
1:17:12and all this other kind of stuff okay so
1:17:15you know basically i had you becoming
1:17:17violent
1:17:19i just like the way you described it
1:17:20when you were when you were when you and
1:17:21cody were kids right
1:17:23what do you do
1:17:24um like i said he pulled me up from the
1:17:26couch just by like the shirt that i was
1:17:28wearing and then you know after that he
1:17:31was basically just
1:17:32having that yelling where it was kind of
1:17:35kind of like cracking you know like his
1:17:37voice would either crack or
1:17:38he would just he was basically just
1:17:40yelling at that point and monitoring my
1:17:43mom my mom was in her office okay
1:17:45because
1:17:46she
1:17:47and i'm trying to cut you off does mom
1:17:49have like an office hours like she would
1:17:51get up and do her work all day at a
1:17:53certain time i'm done doing my office
1:17:55work and i'm doing my family stuff not
1:17:56really okay i mean work there all the
1:17:58time right she would i think the the
1:18:01major thing that she would do is she
1:18:02would like cook dinner okay and then
1:18:04after that
1:18:05um she would go back into her office
1:18:07what time was dinner usually generally
1:18:09between like
1:18:11seven like i guess usually around seven
1:18:13seven seven thirty is when we usually
1:18:15have dinner most nights you guys already
1:18:17have dinner that night no no i think
1:18:19that's what she was gonna make
1:18:21i think she was gonna make something
1:18:22with like chicken or something like that
1:18:23stir fry or something like that because
1:18:25cody was working late so she didn't want
1:18:27to make something where because my dad
1:18:28would always buy meals that were for
1:18:30four
1:18:31so he we didn't want to pull out
1:18:33anything where there would be leftovers
1:18:34or something like that
1:18:35so but she hadn't
1:18:37started making it yet i think she was
1:18:38defrosting the chicken that was about
1:18:40what time
1:18:44uh what time
1:18:47i think she took those out like at four
1:18:49or something like that in the afternoon
1:18:50and at this time the argument with dad
1:18:52is at what time the argument with that
1:18:54is like
1:18:56six six thirty or seven thirty yeah
1:18:59okay um
1:19:02do you have your argument you pack
1:19:03yourself i have my argument and then i'm
1:19:06packing my stuff i'm you know taking it
1:19:08out to the car it took me like a couple
1:19:09hours to get as much as i could just
1:19:11kind of out into there
1:19:12um
1:19:13and then
1:19:15yeah it's like mom's kind of just
1:19:17staying out of it to a certain degree
1:19:19because
1:19:21she knows like how dad can be
1:19:23and then uh
1:19:25yeah i mean
1:19:28you know i was and that's just pretty
1:19:30much where i was just kind of like
1:19:30waiting so you wait outside did anybody
1:19:33call cody and tell him what's going on
1:19:35no no i mean not that i know of okay and
1:19:37how did you know to meet cody down the
1:19:38street it's because um my mom had
1:19:41actually come and told me that
1:19:45you know she again she was trying to
1:19:46bridge the gap and then before i
1:19:49actually physically left
1:19:51i had told my mom that you know i'm
1:19:53going to be
1:19:54close i'm going to be local i'm just
1:19:56going to be like down the street
1:19:57and then you left so i left and then do
1:20:00you think you laughed about oh god
1:20:06if it's 6 30 the argument started how
1:20:09long do you think before you left i'd
1:20:10say like
1:20:139 or 9 30 or so
1:20:16and then uh
1:20:20yeah so then
1:20:23i mean yeah that's
1:20:24because i guess
1:20:26i think it's because
1:20:27i think it's because um
1:20:29like cody had called the house and then
1:20:32my mom picked up
1:20:33and then he was just letting like how we
1:20:36would normally do where like i got
1:20:37offered like he was supposed to work to
1:20:38like 11 or something like that but he
1:20:40came home early and then yeah he was
1:20:42able to come home early because of the
1:20:43fight
1:20:44you think
1:20:45i don't i don't
1:20:46i don't know honestly but uh
1:20:49he i mean like that week even on the
1:20:51days that he was working until three he
1:20:52would come home at like noon or one or
1:20:54something that week so maybe it was just
1:20:55a slow week
1:20:57but
1:20:58apparently that had happened and then my
1:21:00mom was able to to
1:21:02tell her
1:21:03right and then she told me
1:21:05um
1:21:06did
1:21:09cody
1:21:10have the gun infinity you have to he did
1:21:12he liked guns like you did right yeah
1:21:13did he keep any guns on him i think cody
1:21:16had his
1:21:18um
1:21:19he had his carry his pistol okay and
1:21:22then he would normally carry it was like
1:21:25uh
1:21:27uh smith and wesson m9
1:21:30shield or armor
1:21:32core core or something
1:21:34okay
1:21:35and um
1:21:36then the only other gun that he had was
1:21:38his clay shooting shotgun okay
1:21:41did your dad carry any guns my dad's my
1:21:43knowledge he has like two sks or
1:21:46something like that and then he has a
1:21:48glock something do you carry glock
1:21:50looking normally normally no no
1:21:53no
1:21:54what else happened what else happened uh
1:21:57then after after
1:21:59after i met with cody then that's where
1:22:02you know i was again just kind of
1:22:03staying around that area
1:22:05and then i just went to the publix and
1:22:07then to my knowledge i mean i was like
1:22:09that was the last interaction that i had
1:22:11with my
1:22:12the three members of my family was was
1:22:14that
1:22:15um
1:22:16was about what time last time last time
1:22:19you saw your mom was what time
1:22:20approximately last time i saw my mom
1:22:22um
1:22:24i'm just trying to think
1:22:26uh last time that i saw my mom
1:22:31was
1:22:36god when did i say that i met cody i
1:22:38went when i wrote
1:22:39back time stopped by it was it was like
1:22:4245 minutes before that
1:22:44okay so
1:22:46so when cody called the house you said
1:22:48your mom told him about the argument
1:22:50right he had and you told when you left
1:22:52you said you told your mom you were
1:22:53going to be in the area
1:22:55how then does cody now know where to
1:22:58meet you or if he's going to meet you
1:23:00yes because that's that's when my mom
1:23:02had come out to where i said that i was
1:23:04going to be on that road somewhere
1:23:06and then she was able to do that
1:23:08and then i guess that's how she knew
1:23:10like where i don't know if she talked to
1:23:12cody again or if she was able to do that
1:23:14but then she was able to like pinpoint
1:23:15that area
1:23:16okay so
1:23:18this would have been late at night right
1:23:19eight nine ten o'clock somewhere like
1:23:21that time yeah so dinner was over you
1:23:23guys already had dinner we hadn't had
1:23:24dinner because of the whole argument
1:23:26that was happening okay so yeah it never
1:23:28i don't think yeah the chicken never got
1:23:30past just being in the wrappers over
1:23:32where she would always defrost it so
1:23:35you leave go on your way cody goes home
1:23:38right and you have no contact with
1:23:39anybody since then right um
1:23:44i just want to make sure that we're not

1:27:16up to speed on like
1:27:18why i'm

1:27:21speak my mom oh she talked to him yeah

1:27:59cody comes and talks to you about 10
1:28:00minutes at some point your mom has
1:28:02spoken to cody based on what the
1:28:04conversation you have then correct
1:28:05correct and she told him what had
1:28:07happened between you and your dad

1:28:10do you think that's why cody left work
1:28:13i mean
1:28:14i could i could say because he left work
1:28:16no he never said why he left work but
1:28:19in my mind i was just thinking oh he had
1:28:21been let off work early like through
1:28:23three times already this week so i was
1:28:25just like 10 15 minutes you talked to

1:28:28drives in 96 or 97 97 honda accord okay

1:28:56where you were talking like i would go
1:28:57like kind of just up and down that road
1:28:59a little bit just that my car isn't just

1:29:03area and then i decided to go to publix
1:29:06publix which is about what time
1:29:10like
1:29:13between like midnight and one i think
1:29:15yeah and you go to publix midnight one
1:29:17and i don't stay there till i stay there

1:30:11that i just drive over to where my uh my

1:33:00yeah she was also just kind of like a
1:33:01standard slim build person okay uh would

1:33:06interview i wore my uh suit

1:33:10it's just like a men's warehouse gray
1:33:11suit sure like uh
1:33:14brown shoes okay um and you said the
1:33:17interview was from what time was that
1:33:18and i'm sorry to repeat no no no no
1:33:20my interview was scheduled for 10 in the
1:33:22morning but literally right because i
1:33:23was told that i had to print out like my
1:33:25resumes and my other things but then i
1:33:27wasn't able to the night before so i had
1:33:30brought my surface thing that i could
1:33:31print it out earlier so i got there at
1:33:33nine
1:33:34or like maybe where'd you pronounce that
1:33:36i actually didn't i mean they said that
1:33:38they couldn't but they already had
1:33:39copies of it so i was able i didn't have
1:33:41to worry about that so you had the
1:33:43interview and it started approximately
1:33:44one time like 9
1:33:4640. 940 and went to about one uh i think
1:33:49it was about an hour so like 10 30 10 40
1:33:53or so they didn't offer your job and
1:33:54said they may have something coming
1:33:56forward it's it seems like promising but
1:33:58then they said that they had one more
1:33:59person interview on
1:34:01tuesday or wednesday of this coming week
1:34:03so but they said that i would hear
1:34:05something from them regardless like twos
1:34:07or three i want to jump back just a
1:34:08second when you left the house right
1:34:11what were you wearing
1:34:12uh when i left the house i was just
1:34:14wearing
1:34:15um
1:34:17like my
1:34:19uh like black pants and then just jeans
1:34:22like just like good workout pants kind
1:34:24of deal with no just yeah just like just
1:34:26like workout camera workout
1:34:28and then i um
1:34:30i just had a black shirt on and then uh
1:34:35was i wearing a jacket and i think just
1:34:36like one of my sweaters or jackets or
1:34:38something
1:34:40and you changed where to go to the uh in
1:34:42the parking lot at the at the
1:34:45place i suppose okay you go to the
1:34:47interview let's say you're there until
1:34:49maybe 11 o'clock right approximately
1:34:51where'd you go from there from there
1:34:54um i pretty much just drove around i was
1:34:56thinking of
1:34:58like
1:34:59passing by the house but i i inevitably
1:35:02decided against it and then i was
1:35:05i thought that i had to do like a skills
1:35:08check off for the same exact things and
1:35:10i had switched into into just like
1:35:12scrubs okay um but then that didn't end
1:35:15up needing to be done today or um on the
1:35:18same day
1:35:19and then i was pretty much just driving
1:35:21around i ended up going to
1:35:24water for or i had gone back to the
1:35:26publix area at one point
1:35:28um because i wanted to see if i could
1:35:32um
1:35:33get my phone service back
1:35:36um but then i was told that i'm not like
1:35:38a registered user did you go to a phone
1:35:40store somewhere yeah which one the
1:35:42verizon the verizon which is right there
1:35:44in the same place and the
1:35:46in the um public spider right it's like
1:35:49tracker part of the fight it's right
1:35:50next to the zaxby's it's where the
1:35:52family dentistry oh yeah they built a
1:35:54new building up there right it's like a
1:35:56little strip uh four or five store there
1:35:58yeah okay no exactly something where
1:35:59you're trying to go to corner lakes
1:36:00middle school right okay so talk to
1:36:03somebody yeah i had tried to get my
1:36:04phone service back and that's a girl it
1:36:06was a guy what is it like
1:36:09he was a young guy like
1:36:11maybe in his early 20s he had black hair
1:36:14i think he had like a goatee
1:36:17um

1:36:22i think that was that was the first
1:36:24place that i went to when i came back so
1:36:28if i got out of there around 11 maybe

1:36:37the phone because why because i was told
1:36:39that i wasn't a registered user because
1:36:41it was under my dad's name sure and
1:36:43everything and then um

1:36:50basically they can't do anything unless
1:36:51he gives the sign off to it right the
1:36:54account will have to approve of it right
1:36:55right didn't work it didn't work and
1:36:58then you went where and then after that
1:37:00i went back um
1:37:02and then i think i just sat in my car
1:37:04for a little while because i was just
1:37:05thinking okay well how am i going to do
1:37:06this with everything that just happened
1:37:08and
1:37:09um
1:37:11from there
1:37:13that's where i think i decided that i
1:37:15was going to maybe drive by the house
1:37:18did you go right bye did i i didn't
1:37:20drive by the house i
1:37:22like was starting to go there down that
1:37:24for christmas road and then i was just
1:37:26like i'm just i'm not gonna i'm not
1:37:28gonna do it because
1:37:29as far as i know it's like
1:37:32you know dad's probably at work i don't
1:37:34know if cody works again today
1:37:36and you know just like with everything
1:37:38that had been when he drove down there
1:37:39yeah see anything strange no i i had
1:37:42seen um
1:37:43i just seen like a couple of cars like
1:37:45pass by me but
1:37:47like just standard like just a little
1:37:49bit of traffic
1:37:50but then apart from that no i mean
1:37:52nothing how close you get to the house
1:37:55uh
1:37:57it's i mean like a couple miles a couple
1:38:00you leave there and you go where and
1:38:03then after
1:38:04i choose not to do that then i
1:38:09go

1:38:15uh back towards the goldenrod express
1:38:18scripts area because i thought that i
1:38:19had to do the skills checkoff thing
1:38:21um so then i'm going back that whole
1:38:23like golden roddy area right um i think
1:38:26i missed my exit and then i had to get
1:38:28off at uh you go 408 again yeah
1:38:31expressway yeah okay so you're going
1:38:33back and forth on the four-way right
1:38:34okay and then i missed the golden rod
1:38:36exit and then
1:38:38i like don't even think to get off on
1:38:40samurai so then i end up like needing to
1:38:42go off on crystal lake drive
1:38:45and then i connect up with 50 and i just
1:38:47go all the way back the whole
1:38:49the goldenrod road
1:38:50but um
1:38:54then i stop off and i just
1:38:57i see if if there was like any email
1:38:59updates or anything like that and then
1:39:00there's your emails yeah nothing and
1:39:02then there was nothing so then i was
1:39:03like oh crap it's not like today but
1:39:06you've got to pay for things you've got
1:39:07some money right in your account right
1:39:09you got cody's cards right right on the
1:39:11side do you still have your dance card
1:39:13yes okay so i had that okay do you use
1:39:15any of them i had used cody's card to
1:39:18pay for one of my bills that was
1:39:20outstanding
1:39:21uh it was just one of those from that
1:39:23site it was just like a bill that is
1:39:26back in there it's
1:39:27599.99
1:39:29okay um cody know you're doing that yeah
1:39:31he says okay he said to use this to
1:39:35like survive until things can get
1:39:37figured out because he knows that i only
1:39:39have you know a few hundred dollars to
1:39:41my name
1:39:42he told you that that night that you
1:39:43could use his card and pay off what
1:39:45needed to be paid off yeah
1:39:47he said to use it for like necessity did
1:39:50he give it to you yes he gave here take
1:39:52this and
1:39:59so
1:39:59then after the realization i didn't have
1:40:02to do any skills check off then after
1:40:04that
1:40:06i go
1:40:07then after that oh yeah then after that
1:40:09that's where i go to waterford
1:40:10and then at waterford you stop anywhere
1:40:13over there i go into panera because i
1:40:15think that i'm gonna get something to
1:40:16eat about what time
1:40:17um

1:40:56then i know that i only have a little
1:40:58bit but then i'm gonna have to like
1:40:59sleep somewhere and again i'm trying to
1:41:00use like my money for that type of stuff
1:41:03so then yeah so i'm only in panera for
1:41:05like 10 minutes or something like that
1:41:07and then i end up leaving from there and
1:41:09then that's where i go to the double
1:41:10tree and then that's where i checked in
1:41:12and then i was at the double tree all
1:41:14night did you go anywhere lee i only
1:41:16came out of the doubletree to i think
1:41:18get like a water bottle out of my car
1:41:20and uh get
1:41:21like
1:41:23oh yeah to get my uh like my razor out
1:41:25just in case i needed to shave or
1:41:27something like that in your room what's
1:41:29in your room back at that
1:41:30at the double tree it's my
1:41:33leather
1:41:34like just shoulder bag
1:41:36and then it has my other small leather
1:41:39um
1:41:40shoulder bag i guess you call up it's
1:41:42like really like a satchel okay what's
1:41:43up what's in it what's in this bag and
1:41:45the satchels just got some batteries and
1:41:47protein bars um
1:41:50just some like ration type food and then
1:41:53in my

1:41:56big carry it's got just
1:41:58like some clothes standard clothes
1:42:01it had my like all the electronic
1:42:03chargers and whatnot that i could get
1:42:04just kind of grabbing and putting in
1:42:06there and then it has my surface
1:42:09my cell phone and
1:42:11uh my ipad yep and then

1:42:21some like bills like some previous
1:42:23builds

1:47:51updated he had told me that he had told

1:48:05miffed a little bit because you know he
1:48:06just gotten off work and now he has to
1:48:08go deal with this and then after that i
1:48:11mean it was just
1:48:12he gave me the debit card to say you
1:48:14know to use this in case of emergencies
1:48:16and then uh i mean that was pretty much
1:48:18it because i don't know if like he had
1:48:21already said that he was on his way home
1:48:22or if there were expectations like for a
1:48:25time with him for making it home but
1:48:27what was your demeanor like what did
1:48:28cody see you as like were you like
1:48:31scared yeah like
1:48:32i was scared because i mean like i said
1:48:34the first time that i had been out of
1:48:36the house you know you were scared of
1:48:38what being on your own or did your
1:48:40father say or do anything to scare you
1:48:42he had threatened me that if i stepped
1:48:44foot back on his property not the house
1:48:46but if i step foot back on his property
1:48:48that he would kill me and like he had he
1:48:50said those specific words yeah did you
1:48:52tell that to cody that your father told
1:48:54you that no i didn't so you're afraid of
1:48:56him oh yeah you you
1:48:59are actually afraid that he could kill
1:49:01you yeah and it's also because
1:49:03like in the past
1:49:06like two weeks before i got kicked out
1:49:09my dad was going through like a lot of
1:49:12episodes where he was losing his temper
1:49:14a lot yelling a lot especially when me
1:49:16and cody weren't at the house
1:49:18and um
1:49:20my mom so was he being violent to your
1:49:21mom yeah like i think physically or just
1:49:24emotionally both
1:49:26but his hands are he had bruised her
1:49:28left arm by grabbing it
1:49:30um and then apparently she had said that
1:49:33on one of the nights
1:49:35that um they were in the kitchen
1:49:37together and then he was like throwing
1:49:39food at her and then banged her head
1:49:40against the wall a couple times so
1:49:43and i'm not let me speak bad of your dad
1:49:45but he's kind of a violent guy yeah i
1:49:47mean you have a reason to be afraid of
1:49:49him and then the thing that i was
1:49:51getting to was that apparently my mom
1:49:52was so scared at one point because it
1:49:54had been a while since he had been like
1:49:56this
1:49:57that she had taken like
1:50:00a couple or a number of voice memos on
1:50:02her phone whenever he would like come in
1:50:05and then start like she knew that you
1:50:06know something like he was gonna start
1:50:08to get upset and that on multiple
1:50:10occasions
1:50:12um he had told her that
1:50:15if you or he had told her that basically
1:50:17if i [ __ ] up sorry for the language but
1:50:19if that if i if i screw up
1:50:22he's going to kill me
1:50:23and then he's going to kill her
1:50:25he said those specifically because he
1:50:27blames everything that happens
1:50:28negatively with me and with jason not
1:50:31with cody but with me and jason on her
1:50:34because we're here
1:50:36so you have a reasonable belief in your
1:50:40mind that your dad could could hurt you
1:50:42yes he could hurt your mom yes
1:50:44he could baby hurt jason yes
1:50:47he's a violent guy i'm sorry i've been
1:50:49this a long time he sounds like a
1:50:50violent guy yeah quick to lose his
1:50:52temper with you over mini school stuff
1:50:54minuscule stuff i get the point he's
1:50:56upset about the amount of money i agree
1:50:58but
1:51:00physically he's abusive yeah
1:51:02and it's kind of embarrassing as you're
1:51:03an adult male right now he's been
1:51:05abusive you for years has he not yeah i
1:51:07mean
1:51:08more more mentally over the course but
1:51:11it has been
1:51:13to the point where you as a 29 year old
1:51:15male right 29 29 that you're afraid that
1:51:18your father could kill you yeah
1:51:20and i mean again it's like
1:51:24you know at the house i mean i have like
1:51:26no access to anything so i mean it's
1:51:28literally just like me and you know
1:51:31like i told you accept anything you mean
1:51:32what like you know anything to defend
1:51:34myself you know like i had a gun sold
1:51:37all my guns
1:51:38does cody have guns in the house he does
1:51:41but they're like locked up somewhere do
1:51:43i have guns in the house again yeah but
1:51:45they're locked up somewhere and you
1:51:46don't have access to them i don't even
1:51:48have a house key um i don't have a
1:51:49housekeep i don't have any keys to the
1:51:51the
1:51:52doors inside the house all i had was my
1:51:55car key that's all that he gave me and
1:51:56that night when you argued with your
1:51:58father and he said he grabbed your shirt
1:52:00and pulled you off the couch did he do
1:52:02anything else to you physically no no he
1:52:05didn't like pursue it anymore he was
1:52:06just did you tell cody that he acted
1:52:09that way towards you no cody had no idea
1:52:11that there was a heated
1:52:13physical
1:52:14just the argument that you needed to get
1:52:16out because you were talking to this
1:52:17girl right
1:52:20um
1:52:24we've come and talked to you and wrote
1:52:26up here voluntarily with us
1:52:28to talk to us
1:52:31why do you think we're having this
1:52:32conversation
1:52:34i honestly don't know but i'm

1:53:10my mind thinking okay you had to go to
1:53:12work or there was or something when you
1:53:14were in your room the hotel room hanging
1:53:16out watching tv
1:53:18no i didn't turn on the tv i had on just
1:53:20like music uh on the in the background
1:53:22just kind of helped me go to sleep are
1:53:24you sure about that because the hotel
1:53:27it's weird and i didn't know that they
1:53:28should travel a lot for work they can
1:53:30tell because of the
1:53:32tv every channel you've been on when the
1:53:35tv gets turned off i guess they have a
1:53:37problem yeah i guess they have a problem
1:53:39uh with people stealing from that oh wow
1:53:41so those things are well moderate even
1:53:43though that looks like a cheap yeah
1:53:46i never even touched the tv remote i
1:53:48didn't turn on that tv at all i was just
1:53:50using my service like watch youtube
1:53:52initially and then um
1:53:56um
1:53:57and then you're actually using the
1:53:58surface to check things right so
1:54:00there'll be a history of everywhere you
1:54:01went on it right yeah okay
1:54:06as a as a child was told the truth
1:54:09always is the best thing to do correct
1:54:11correct you agree with it yeah
1:54:13and accidents happen and things in the
1:54:14heat of the moment things happen
1:54:17that we wish hadn't happened but we make

1:54:21make me so aggravated i'll snap at them

1:54:26very adult of me to to snap at my child

1:54:30yes they're wrong but i should be the
1:54:32adult and not snap at them right
1:54:37tell me what you think because i can
1:54:38tell by i've done this for a long long
1:54:40time and i read people the way they act
1:54:42and the way they they talk to me and the
1:54:44way they answer questions
1:54:46there's something you want to tell us i
1:54:48can see it in your eyes i could see it
1:54:50in your body language and just your
1:54:53the way you act

1:54:56now is the time for something you want
1:54:58to get off your chest and give us an
1:55:00explanation of what's bothering you now

1:58:03whether your dad blew up on you
1:58:06threatened you physically harmed you or

1:58:11something happened that caused
1:58:13an altercation
1:58:15and i i didn't do anything at the house
1:58:18besides get my stuff together and take
1:58:20it out to my car
1:58:23and that's i mean i mean i didn't
1:58:25besides that one thing that i told you
1:58:27guys where i was going down the road to
1:58:29come back maybe besides that and
1:58:31identify you saw nothing that was out of
1:58:33the ordinary no

1:59:20everything you're telling me isn't just
1:59:23copacetic it doesn't add up because
1:59:25because there's
1:59:26what i think what you think what she
1:59:27thinks and there's things that are hard
1:59:29facts you can't make like
1:59:31what i'm saying

1:59:34based on my knowledge right now
1:59:36and you're afraid to say it you're

1:59:40to come back and say that i was a victim

2:03:07i think it was one of the wishes and you
2:03:09saw the story because we've seen the
2:03:11same stories you've seen the story

2:03:17on this right you saw what happened
2:03:20yeah i was on there for like 20 seconds
2:03:22what was your thoughts when you reviewed
2:03:23that story

2:05:03i don't know i saw like like there was
2:05:06like a gate there was a gate and then i
2:05:08saw like that there was like two cars
2:05:10but then i didn't see anything past that
2:05:12okay well that driveway and get your

2:05:16i i honestly did not
2:05:19fixate on it for like a long period of
2:05:21time i saw like the one with an actual
2:05:23like gate
2:05:25you've been here with us
2:05:27you think something bad has happened at
2:05:29your house
2:05:30and to date so long you have any answers
2:05:33about anybody
2:05:35well that's because for the like the
2:05:37last time that i was arrested i mean
2:05:38like nobody would tell me anything i'm
2:05:41once you start telling me something
2:05:43that's truthful that i know
2:05:46then we're going to have a conversation
2:05:48of exactly what happened
2:05:49i mean you're a smart guy
2:05:51you know something's happened at your
2:05:53home
2:05:54you have law enforcement here you
2:05:56haven't heard or gotten anything i mean
2:05:58i'm just scared as to what the answer is
2:06:02well you need to help yourself by
2:06:04filling in the blanks of what happened
2:06:06that night so we can give you the answer
2:06:12did anything more happen with you and
2:06:14your father besides him grabbing you up
2:06:15from the couch
2:06:17and yelling at you and kicking you out

2:06:22at all did he
2:06:25pull did he harm you hit you
2:06:28no draw any weapons on you no he didn't
2:06:31do anything like that

2:08:05to people 200 000 i don't know what i do

2:08:10something like that or a medical bill
2:08:11for my child yeah i get it but talking
2:08:14to some girl you know in bulgaria you
2:08:16know you said you hit it right ahead you
2:08:18were embarrassed about it and you have
2:08:19nothing to be embarrassed about and you
2:08:21said you had a connection with her
2:08:23and

2:09:26but i mean it's like i'm
2:09:28i just i don't i don't
2:09:39like i i just i don't know how to even
2:09:42say the words
2:09:45give me around about what you're
2:09:46thinking
2:09:48that somebody in my family's dead
2:09:54and how does that make you feel if you
2:09:56think if you're thinking that i have
2:09:58absolutely no
2:10:04ability to to comprehend the words
2:10:06because like i said i've been there
2:10:09for my whole entire life and even though
2:10:11there's been struggles and everything
2:10:13like that there has never been any
2:10:15issues
2:10:18there's never been the struggles or the
2:10:19issues
2:10:21like happen thursday never for you i i
2:10:24believe you 100 i believe it's never
2:10:26been like that
2:10:27but something happened thursday unlike
2:10:29anything you've ever experienced in 29
2:10:31years of your life
2:10:32and maybe you felt that was rock bottom
2:10:34for you you were getting kicked out of
2:10:36the house your father gave you an
2:10:37ultimatum
2:10:38i mean that's
2:10:40you know you're already dealing with the
2:10:41the debt and you know now you have to
2:10:44stop talking to this girl and now you're
2:10:46being kicked out of the home i mean
2:10:48that's
2:10:49i
2:10:50i can understand how you would feel
2:10:53i mean that you'd want to lash out or
2:10:56you know if something happened you'd
2:10:57want to defend yourself sure
2:11:00absolutely but we need to know what
2:11:02happened
2:11:04i mean i know i can tell that you guys
2:11:06are like leading me into a certain way
2:11:09of what
2:11:11the only thing we're leading you to is
2:11:12wanting to get the truth from you not
2:11:14trying to make you say something that's
2:11:15not true that's not accurate
2:11:18the truth the end
2:11:20that's it that's all we want is the
2:11:22absolute truth
2:11:23because it's got to come from you it
2:11:25can't come from us it can't come from us
2:11:27do we know what happened
2:11:29yeah we we already know what happened
2:11:32but it has to still come from you with

2:11:53some people were jumped in a house
2:11:56there was a shooting and the people
2:11:58involved in the shooting are not going
2:11:59to be charged because they have the
2:12:01right to defend themselves nothing in
2:12:03the in
2:12:03in the state or federal law says you
2:12:06have to be
2:12:07seriously physically harmed or or or
2:12:10killed nothing does
2:12:12you have a right to defend yourself
2:12:13absolutely
2:12:16sure
2:12:17you being harder your life but grant i
2:12:20just need you to come it's it's there
2:12:22it's there i can see it it's on the tip
2:12:24of your tongue
2:12:25you want to say
2:12:26let me tell you what what happened
2:12:28i'm being honest i think you're being

2:12:3195 percent of the story i truly do
2:12:32believe you're being honest about that i
2:12:34think is that five percent as most
2:12:35people because they're afraid to

2:14:44can you tell us what we found

2:14:57enforcement arrived at your home
2:15:00i mean you guys are talking about guns
2:15:02and you're talking about
2:15:04other things that
2:15:12uh
2:15:16and then the uh
2:15:18the website and everything that
2:15:20something happened to him
2:15:22who's him cody
2:15:29did you do anything to cody no
2:15:32did you do anything to your mother no
2:15:34did you do anything to your father no
2:15:39you have any reason to believe that
2:15:41anybody else would harm them
2:15:46no the only thing that i was told was
2:15:48that cody would take care of it for me
2:15:51and that's all that i know but you
2:15:52didn't tell cody what your father said
2:15:54to you correct right
2:15:56so when cody made those comments to you
2:15:58what do you believe he meant by that
2:16:01have you guys ever talked about
2:16:04that he was gonna

2:16:08always does which is where he just talks

2:16:19would you think happened

2:16:38and why would you think that
2:16:42to protect me or to help me or to do
2:16:44something with me
2:16:49so you're telling me you did not shoot

2:17:09so you're the only outstanding child

2:17:13problems with your dad

2:17:20be questioning you about this

2:18:10so if anything happened in the home you

2:18:28right now because you know what the news

2:18:36then i didn't look again and what did
2:18:38the first story say
2:18:40that there was a shooting in the sultan
2:18:43circle area and the investigation is
2:18:46ongoing okay and what did they say they
2:18:47say the status of the people inside the
2:18:49house what do they say because all the
2:18:50news have reported the same thing every
2:18:52one of them the sheriff is held press
2:18:54promise the sheriff has provided
2:18:56information to the media
2:18:58and it's all it's known
2:19:00what has happened in the home all that i
2:19:02had all that i saw was literally like
2:19:04the paragraph and then the last sentence
2:19:06was there's an investigation ongoing
2:19:09you saw more because
2:19:11at panera when you said you pulled it up
2:19:16they they um
2:19:19they um
2:19:21had more information then
2:19:22they had more information than just
2:19:24there's been a shooting there's a lot
2:19:25more information was given it was all
2:19:27over the news by by that time
2:19:29the new news report exactly what
2:19:31happened
2:19:32we know
2:19:35that
2:19:37cody
2:19:38didn't shoot your dad
2:19:40we know cody didn't shoot your mom
2:19:43we know cody didn't shoot himself
2:19:47there's something and you still haven't
2:19:49asked us
2:19:50the position of them that's because i'm
2:19:52i'm i mean i don't know what the normal
2:19:55proceedings are but i don't i mean
2:19:57normal proceedings are for you to be
2:19:58honest about what happens and then we
2:20:00help you understand everything that's
2:20:02going that's kind of going on from here

2:20:06and we don't believe you're being honest
2:20:08we feel that you are leaving something
2:20:09out about what happened in that home
2:20:12and the evidence tells us what happened
2:20:14in the home but you need to fill in the
2:20:16blanks

2:25:44then you said the next time was at

2:25:47yes was on the wi-fi
2:25:49both your cell phone and the surface
2:25:52just the surface i i and
2:25:54the scenario was just on the surface

2:25:58all right so again with the whole
2:25:59digital footprint like danny's talking
2:26:01about you know that we will know exactly
2:26:03where you were at every time that you
2:26:05connected to wi-fi and how long you were
2:26:07connected to the wi-fi you understand

2:26:12from the publix or you're driving away

2:26:16we will know all of that
2:26:18in every hot spot you hit along the way

2:29:03so there's an explanation of things you

2:29:10truth that you hold back and that's the
2:29:12most crucial for you right now

2:31:05if you were the one that's been
2:31:07depressed you were the one that owes
2:31:08money you are the one that got into a
2:31:09confrontation with your father who did
2:31:11this to your family
2:31:16if you were trying to defend yourself or
2:31:18something else happen we need to know
2:31:20now to help you
2:31:24so tell us what happened grant

2:34:44bullets in in in the uh in the house
2:34:47mom's sitting her thing with a glass of
2:34:48wine doing her thing and she's shocked
2:34:51you just got to step over and tell me
2:34:52man
2:34:53i want to help you i do
2:34:56the evidence is going to be there most
2:34:58people out with cartridge cases we have
2:35:00projectiles and fingerprints
2:35:04so you just need to tell us what led up
2:35:06to this you've been arrested correct

2:41:20that he could do
2:41:22to help me
2:41:25so i don't remember the exact time when
2:41:27i actually left but i had left
2:41:32later than what i had said
2:41:35so you were home when cody got home yes
2:41:38tell us about that
2:41:41what time did he get home and why did he
2:41:43come home
2:41:46i mean he got home at
2:41:50i think like
2:41:5310 30 i still think that's when he got
2:41:55home it was like around 10 30.
2:41:59i don't know why he was able to leave
2:42:01early and what was going on at the house
2:42:03when he arrived
2:42:04my uh dad and my mom were
2:42:08arguing
2:42:09and then i was still just packing up all
2:42:11my stuff
2:42:13or gathering the things that i could
2:42:15gather
2:42:17um
2:42:20and then when cody got home he
2:42:24started to transgress with my dad and i
2:42:27was still kind of just staying out of it
2:42:29and doing my own thing
2:42:33and then the end result was still the
2:42:34end result and then i had to still leave
2:42:38and then so is it true that you still
2:42:40met cody up the block or was that no no
2:42:42so you didn't meet him up the block
2:42:44so why did you tell us that
2:42:49i don't know
2:42:53all right so then now let's start
2:42:55from the time you and your father
2:42:57started have that having the argument
2:42:58about 6 6 30 you said when he got on
2:43:01yeah
2:43:02tell us exactly what happened
2:43:05from that time on
2:43:09even what was said
2:43:12i mean it was just a lot of yelling i
2:43:14mean it was
2:43:16it's everything i mean it was everything
2:43:18that he had been telling me for the past
2:43:22months and months and months about just
2:43:25how i had ruined his retirement and how
2:43:28i had pushed him back and now you know
2:43:30he'd
2:43:31never be able to do things that he
2:43:33wanted to do
2:43:35because i saddled him with a lot more
2:43:37expenses
2:43:39and that i told him that you know once i
2:43:42can get a job then i have plans to
2:43:45make amends for the things that i had
2:43:48caused for everybody
2:43:52um
2:43:54and he's he's yelling yeah he's heated
2:43:57are you yelling back at him no i never
2:44:00yelled at my dad
2:44:03and are you sitting on the couch
2:44:04downstairs like you said i was in the
2:44:06living room yeah and at what point does
2:44:08he put his hands on you
2:44:12it's just that i mean it's like maybe
2:44:14five minutes into the conversation
2:44:16so i mean there's nothing there wasn't
2:44:18really anything that was a trigger
2:44:21that i can think of what was your
2:44:22reaction when he grabbed your shirt and
2:44:24pulled you up
2:44:27i
2:44:30mean i mean i had
2:44:33always been passive so i mean i didn't
2:44:35really i didn't i didn't fight back or
2:44:37anything like that i just
2:44:40tried to get my my grounding and then
2:44:43and then we were just standing and
2:44:47you know just continued on
2:44:50and then what
2:44:52and then after that uh
2:44:55i started the whole process of
2:44:59gathering everything
2:45:00where's your mom at this point she was
2:45:02still in her office did she intervene at
2:45:04all she had gotten up to say that
2:45:07you know like you need like you need to
2:45:10settle down or you you know some sort of
2:45:12defusing statement that she always used
2:45:13to make
2:45:14and then my dad yelled at her to stay
2:45:17out of this
2:45:19and then she just went back into there
2:45:22okay and then what what happened next
2:45:26um
2:45:32i mean then it was just
2:45:35like it was just a lot of
2:45:38like just it was just a lot of yelling
2:45:40and confrontation between me and dad but
2:45:44there wasn't anything more physical
2:45:46about it
2:45:51and like i said i was just going up and
2:45:53about
2:45:55you know getting my stuff and taking it
2:45:56out to my car and getting back whatever
2:45:59i could whatever i could gather
2:46:02and what'd your dad do while you were
2:46:03doing that
2:46:04he was just following me around
2:46:07just making sure you were gathering your
2:46:08stuff to get out of my my possessions
2:46:10and not taking anything of his
2:46:13and how long did that go on because
2:46:15before cody shows up
2:46:17i mean that was like
2:46:20for three three four hours or something
2:46:22like that so you did that for three
2:46:24hours
2:46:25gathering your stuff and dealing with
2:46:27dad and
2:46:28because it wasn't just like he went up
2:46:31those two little bags you brought was
2:46:32three hours
2:46:34yeah he wouldn't just
2:46:36i mean i went onto my computer to back
2:46:38up some stuff onto like some flash
2:46:40drives and i mean all that other stuff
2:46:42but
2:46:43it wasn't just like with him where
2:46:47i could just
2:46:49go and do my thing you know i mean he
2:46:51would stop me and then we would
2:46:54talk for
2:46:56like an extended period of time and then
2:46:58i would start to do my thing again and
2:47:00then it would stop again and i mean
2:47:02that's all that was was your father
2:47:04wearing this
2:47:05yeah
2:47:06and what about that gun on his waist
2:47:09no
2:47:10he didn't have that on no no is this
2:47:12normal
2:47:13no i mean i had i hadn't seen him have
2:47:16his gun since
2:47:18since
2:47:20like high school so he doesn't walk
2:47:22around like this normally no why do you
2:47:24think he would be like this
2:47:27i don't know if it's
2:47:29because of what he had told me that if i
2:47:31came back that he would kill me
2:47:34and like he said you're afraid
2:47:37yeah but we're here

2:47:43this is the person that is coming to to
2:47:46solve the problem for you or came home
2:47:48to solve the problems
2:47:49there's the one who always sticks up for
2:47:51you including talking to the goal she
2:47:53talked to the girl in bulgaria didn't
2:47:54she yeah she had conversations and said
2:47:56that you know you're not a bad guy and
2:47:58how
2:47:59this breakup basically has affected you
2:48:01had did you
2:48:02enjoyment was bad
2:48:04here's the problem
2:48:05that
2:48:07this one's behind you support you that
2:48:09one's behind you supports him this one
2:48:11i'm sure cares about you but is upset
2:48:13because like you said you have ruined
2:48:16his
2:48:17plans for retirement so he can't retire
2:48:19because of the financial
2:48:21loss
2:48:23how much money cody gave you
2:48:32sixty thousand
2:48:33yeah and yeah i guess dad gave you how
2:48:36much
2:48:40like a hundred thousand
2:48:42mom gave damage
2:48:45it's like 30 000 or something so around

2:48:51and the vast majority of this money went
2:48:52to some girl on the internet so they're
2:48:55upset i get that
2:48:57but we know
2:48:59he didn't fire a gun we know she didn't
2:49:01fire a gun we know he didn't fire a gun
2:49:06he shout the second he walks in the
2:49:07house
2:49:08at what point does he come into the
2:49:10house
2:49:13it's like
2:49:14like 10 30. and where does he enter
2:49:17through the garage
2:49:19where does he park his car
2:49:21under the
2:49:23awning thing outside not in the garage
2:49:25right
2:49:26so do you see him walk in
2:49:29or hear him come in
2:49:31no so you're upstairs maybe or where are
2:49:34you when he comes home when i when he
2:49:36came home i was doing
2:49:39i was uh gathering
2:49:40some of the like power bars into my
2:49:44little
2:49:46shoulder satchel thing where the power
2:49:47bar's in the kitchen or in the kitchen
2:49:49so you see him come in
2:49:51i i hear the door but then that's it and
2:49:54then when do you see him
2:49:56honestly i see him when he walks into
2:49:58the kitchen and what do you guys what
2:50:00what is said
2:50:02i bet he asked me what i'm doing and i
2:50:04basically tell him
2:50:06the quick short story because at the
2:50:09time my dad and my mom were talking
2:50:11where were they they were in her office
2:50:13okay and what is the short story you
2:50:15tell
2:50:16that cody coat that dad caught me still
2:50:19talking to the girl
2:50:21that had caused all the problems
2:50:24and that uh he was kicking me out of the
2:50:26house because i had broken his rule
2:50:29did you tell cody that he threatened to
2:50:31kill you if you came back home
2:50:33no i still didn't tell cody about that i
2:50:36just i had told cody previously when i
2:50:39went to cornerstone that that's what
2:50:44uh dad was gonna do if
2:50:46i had made any more mistakes not the
2:50:48specific one that i had caused but if i
2:50:51had made any more mistakes and then cody
2:50:53told me that he was going to do that
2:50:56when i went into one of the side offices
2:50:57with him before they
2:50:59officially dropped me off
2:51:01when you went to cornerstone
2:51:03so your dad had told you in the past
2:51:05before that he would kill you right
2:51:07for what reason for
2:51:10if i basically did anything related to
2:51:12this again causing costing him a lot of
2:51:15money and cody knew about that right he
2:51:18didn't he just didn't know
2:51:20about
2:51:22um
2:51:23the
2:51:24one that was just said whether or not he
2:51:28knew
2:51:30from like the paper that my dad had
2:51:31written out of all the
2:51:33consequences and everything like that
2:51:36when did your dad write this paper
2:51:38before they uh came to get me on the
2:51:40fourth yeah i mean i don't know the
2:51:42exact time do you know where the paper
2:51:44is or what it's written on
2:51:46it's written on like a
2:51:48green like a greenish yellow college
2:51:51rule just piece of paper and pen
2:51:53in the office or a bedroom i don't i
2:51:55don't know where he keeps all of his
2:51:56stuff
2:51:59all right so what else
2:52:00do you and cody talk about
2:52:03so then after talking about that he says
2:52:05that he'll take care of it and then him
2:52:07and my dad
2:52:09they're the ones that
2:52:11always yell and raise their voices and
2:52:14everything like that did your dad
2:52:15eventually enter the kitchen or did cody
2:52:17go to your dad in the office no my dad
2:52:19came in when he heard that me and cody
2:52:21were talking and what what was the
2:52:23conversation then
2:52:25when they started to talk i just left
2:52:27the room and i just went back upstairs
2:52:30so you didn't hear what they talked
2:52:31about
2:52:33i mean not it was it was more just
2:52:36that
2:52:37he was defending that it's just you know
2:52:39that i just did this and that it's not
2:52:41like it's costing any money
2:52:44were they yelling did they raise their
2:52:45voice yeah they were talking they were
2:52:48they were yelling
2:52:49did you hear any threats or
2:52:53my dad had said
2:52:54that um
2:52:59that he was that everybody had agreed
2:53:02that if i had done this that
2:53:04i would have to go
2:53:06that there wasn't any more wiggle room
2:53:09or second chances or anything like that
2:53:13and then uh
2:53:17you know he came around to the base of
2:53:19the staircase and then he told me that i
2:53:21need to go
2:53:23your father did yeah
2:53:25and then i told him that i was just
2:53:26trying to pick up the last few things
2:53:29that i needed to
2:53:31uh there was like a bag of my like a
2:53:34trash bag of like my clothes
2:53:36um that i'd still not unpack from when i
2:53:40got back from cornerstone
2:53:42that i just you know had to gather and
2:53:44put into my car you know all that just
2:53:46some brand and stuff
2:53:48and then um
2:53:50i don't know what time i actually left
2:53:52but
2:53:54i think it was closer to like
2:53:57midnight or something
2:54:00and when you left where was your mother
2:54:03when i left my mom was still just in her
2:54:05office
2:54:07and where was your dad dad and cody were
2:54:09just yelling inside the kitchen
2:54:12yelling not really yelling anymore but
2:54:14they were
2:54:18it was basically just the same exact
2:54:20conversation that had been going on
2:54:22where
2:54:23there was nothing left and that dad
2:54:25looked through some of my things to make
2:54:27sure that i wasn't taking anything that
2:54:28wasn't mine
2:54:30i think the only thing that he had a
2:54:32problem with was that
2:54:35i had taken like
2:54:38um
2:54:39like some of my
2:54:41my paperwork bills from like the chapman
2:54:44law group
2:54:45but then since i wasn't the one paying
2:54:46for it that they would need those but
2:54:49then i still just ended up keeping it
2:54:50because i figured
2:54:52nothing else was gonna like be covered
2:54:54for me or anything
2:54:57so then after i left
2:54:59i took that
2:55:00the fort christmas road
2:55:03um that connected up with 50 and then i
2:55:06was just at the publix for the rest of
2:55:08the time
2:55:09the same publix we talked about earlier
2:55:11on 419.
2:55:13so from about midnight till 7 a.m like
2:55:16you said you were a puppet
2:55:18and then is everything else the truth as
2:55:19far as the job interview and so on and
2:55:22so all the rest of the times
2:55:24were accurate and
2:55:27when i looked at the site
2:55:28i did not i i only saw a small
2:55:33blurb so when did you learn that your
2:55:35family was
2:55:36dead
2:55:41i had been worried since
2:55:43last night
2:55:46when i was uh
2:55:47just in the hotel but
2:55:52i knew when you guys
2:55:54told me
2:55:55i mean like i knew
2:55:57when you guys had told me you already
2:55:59knew that
2:56:00but i had you already said
2:56:02you knew
2:56:03at any point did you feel like you
2:56:05needed to reach out to cody and see if
2:56:06he was okay or
2:56:10i just didn't want to call anywhere i
2:56:12just didn't want to know
2:56:15but you couldn't call
2:56:17i well i mean you had brought up the
2:56:18hospital that was that one but i just
2:56:20worked there i didn't even think i was
2:56:22to use that
2:56:28you got a medical background correct
2:56:30yeah you ever been to an autopsy
2:56:33no
2:56:33an autopsy tells us a lot of things
2:56:36cause of death
2:56:38a lot of times how close somebody was or
2:56:40something
2:56:41again remember i told you earlier
2:56:43she didn't fire a gun he didn't fire
2:56:45again
2:56:47so they didn't get into us shooting
2:56:48amongst themselves inside the house
2:56:53angles tell us a lot of things
2:56:57dad was over here when he got shot
2:56:59the bullets in the cabinet and in the
2:57:00wall
2:57:02we know that we that's the one those
2:57:03facts we just can't dispute
2:57:05let's see what shell casings are over
2:57:07here

2:57:10see where shelf kisses are there
2:57:13cody was shot the minute he walked in
2:57:15the door
2:57:16when he first got home
2:57:22bullet went through him
2:57:24from his from his head to the back of
2:57:26his head
2:57:28hit the door frame and packed it in the
2:57:30wall
2:57:33he never fired
2:57:34he never fired she never fired
2:57:42and we know what time cody left work
2:57:47i mean
2:57:48from his boss from his co-workers and
2:57:50you gotta remember we've talked to
2:57:51everybody before we talk to you
2:57:54so we know what time he left work
2:57:56we know why he
2:57:58told his co-workers and his boss why he
2:58:00left work and we know what time he got
2:58:02home
2:58:03and we have text messages that he has
2:58:05sent people afterwards
2:58:10so based on what you're telling us that
2:58:13he comes home and has this confrontation
2:58:15talks to you talks to his dad you leave
2:58:18about midnight
2:58:19and he's still there talking to your dad
2:58:22in the kitchen
2:58:24none of that adds up
2:58:26is going to approximate the time of
2:58:28death based on the body
2:58:33that was the time grant now is the time
2:58:35buddy
2:58:36i believe this this and this happened
2:58:38while you were still present in the
2:58:40house
2:58:42and for whatever reason you don't want
2:58:43to tell us
2:58:46we understand your father was abusive
2:58:48and we understand that he was the
2:58:50[ __ ]
2:58:52and if he threatened you
2:58:54that he was going to kill you when you
2:58:55came back
2:58:57you were probably in fear were you not
2:59:01so did your brother come home to try and
2:59:03defend you and then this fun fight
2:59:05happened
2:59:07and you got so scared that you left
2:59:11no i mean i i i had left when i had said
2:59:15that i had left
2:59:16which took
2:59:18around the night or midnight no around
2:59:19the midnight time
2:59:23again we know stuff from the medical
2:59:25examiner office
2:59:28of times
2:59:32said this a couple of times he never
2:59:34fired a gun
2:59:36he never fired a gun

3:30:53that's money that was moved
3:30:56just because they gave it to you as a

3:31:05what the [ __ ] is money being moved in
3:31:07that amount

3:32:42that's not possible
3:32:44friday was yesterday yeah
3:32:48so you're telling me you had a job
3:32:49interview yesterday but you got kicked
3:32:51out thursday night right
3:32:53i had to get my suit and everything and
3:32:55put it into the car

3:33:00where was your job interview
3:33:02over on uh leave us

3:33:07something scripts so i mean so they'd be
3:33:09able to verify that you were there for
3:33:10an interview
3:33:14i don't know
3:33:15i'm gonna feel really bad this is just

3:33:24you're thinking and
3:33:27and everything and this is just

3:33:33you know i know what i did to everybody

3:33:44dealing with it every single day and
3:33:45when you're trying to move forward yeah
3:33:48i code and all that stuff yep and i
3:33:50understand it was probably harder for
3:33:52you because you lived in the house i had
3:33:53the option of getting out
3:33:55which gave me the ability to
3:34:00not have to deal with it on a daily
3:34:01basis i understand the mental struggles
3:34:05you went through with cody and dad
3:34:07relationship you and dad's relationship
3:34:09everybody's relationship in the family
3:34:12you know
3:34:13how smart everybody is in the family
3:34:16when it comes to medical
3:34:18information
3:34:20and that's what scares me even more
3:34:22about you
3:34:27if you didn't do it then you have to
3:34:30know
3:34:31that someone else did it there is no way
3:34:35that there were people out there looking
3:34:37for our parents or brother
3:34:40they had to have been looking for you
3:34:42there's no way that mom dad or cody owed
3:34:45anybody money had anybody
3:34:48looking for them because of something
3:34:50that they did
3:34:52no i don't think that it's some money
3:34:54shark or monger or somebody like that
3:34:57right because nothing was stolen from
3:34:59the house
3:35:00so like people that are looking to
3:35:02compensate for financial obligations
3:35:05would have taken tvs computers jewelry
3:35:09monetarily things
3:35:12from what i've been advised that is not
3:35:14the situation so
3:35:17that believes that the people were
3:35:20murdered
3:35:21for the reason that they were in the way
3:35:23of getting to something else
3:35:27i just i don't understand why
3:35:31i don't understand why it happened
3:35:34i was taking my steps forward despite
3:35:36everything that i was supposed to do
3:35:39that i was supposed to be doing
3:35:42the slip up was still communicating with
3:35:45the woman but what were you allowed to
3:35:47take when dad kicked you out
3:35:49obviously your car basically my
3:35:52possessions my cell phone my ipad my
3:35:55surface
3:35:56some clothes weapons
3:35:58i don't have any weapons
3:36:01so there's going to be no weapons in the
3:36:02hotel that you were at last night no
3:36:05weapons in the car
3:36:07no weapons buried on the property no
3:36:11i know i sold all my weapons when i was
3:36:14trying to make money right yep i
3:36:16remember my mom telling me that what
3:36:20what about uh what
3:36:27i don't know what else to say
3:36:30but
3:36:31i'm scared for you and i'm scared for
3:36:33myself and
3:36:36i don't feel comfortable with you being
3:36:39around me alone i'm sorry

3:37:46it's going to be harder for me

3:37:51if you can take mom and dad and cody's
3:37:53life it's hard for you to
3:37:55comprehend that my emotions are going to
3:37:57be that but
3:38:03it's unbelievably scary grant
3:38:08and i
3:38:09don't believe in god
3:38:10i don't have a strong religious belief
3:38:13but
3:38:14i will pray
3:38:16that this is solved justifiably because
3:38:20it was not fair that mom cody and dad's
3:38:23life were taken
3:38:25they did not deserve it
3:38:27no matter what feelings were felt by
3:38:29anybody
3:38:30they were good people
3:38:34and they showed it
3:38:36by protecting me all the time
3:38:38but dad kicked you out so because i
3:38:41still broke the rule and that it was
3:38:43apparently dad's
3:38:45job to be the hammer person or whatever
3:38:47he would describe it as right i was told
3:38:50that you would not be have access to be
3:38:52able to contact this woman
3:38:55why do you feel the intent to still
3:38:56contact her
3:38:58it was just
3:38:59the whole emotional thing
3:39:01i mean that's that's okay
3:39:03so are you saying that you love the
3:39:04woman
3:39:05i
3:39:06feel like i did yeah okay you feel like
3:39:09you did so you don't feel that way now
3:39:12well i mean now it's pretty much
3:39:15you know i mean it's not what it used to
3:39:17be is all i can say
3:39:19because she's aware of what has happened
3:39:22in the last several months right
3:39:26so why do you feel the need to still
3:39:27contact her
3:39:29i don't know i mean it's
3:39:32i don't know apart from
3:39:36just like that feeling when you care for
3:39:38somebody we've been with them for
3:39:40however many months yo i know that
3:39:42feeling so i mean i was just
3:39:45you know i knew looking for closure
3:39:47to some degree yeah and i knew that i
3:39:49couldn't ever do any of the money stuff
3:39:51anymore okay so i guess that was like
3:39:55it hurt right
3:39:56yeah yeah because you can't carry that
3:39:58persona that you carried before
3:40:02but you know the crazy part is
3:40:04you're still the same person
3:40:07you are still great a motto that i grew
3:40:09up with for 17 years
3:40:13that i played with
3:40:15that we hate [ __ ] from dad so that we
3:40:17didn't get in trouble who covered those
3:40:20grenades mom

3:40:29and i'm gonna be honest i don't feel
3:40:32comfortable with you staying with me

3:40:41i might have a change of heart but i
3:40:43have no other options in my head of
3:40:45what's going on
3:40:47especially if you're confirming that
3:40:48there's nobody looking for you
3:40:52and if you're saying that you ran away
3:40:55or stay in the hotel because you were
3:40:57forced to or you were told you couldn't
3:40:58stay there
3:41:03i i don't live there so i have no proof
3:41:06the only people that live there are dead
3:41:08so they can't say anything
3:41:14but uh the moore called me this morning
3:41:17so i have to make decisions for
3:41:19mom cody and grant and dad in the next
3:41:23several you know a couple days so uh
3:41:28just letting you know that um
3:41:32i'll be making those decisions
3:41:34because
3:41:35until i'm given verifiable information
3:41:39that you did not do it i don't think you
3:41:42have the right to make that decision
3:41:45you already made the decision on whether
3:41:47or not they can live or not
3:41:52that's not your job
3:41:57all right i'm ready
3:42:00i do love you though just remember that
3:42:03just like mom cody and dad loved you
3:42:07nobody loved you anymore or any less
