[GOOGLE DRIVE] SUBIR ARCHIVOS Y CARPETAS A GOOGLE DRIVE — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Hello world, welcome to my YouTube
- 0:02channel, A Google Expert Helps You.
- 0:04This is a new video in the playlist of
- 0:06the complete Google Drive course. This
- 0:09time we are going to learn how to
- 0:10upload files and folders. To do this,
- 0:12I'm going to go to the button again.
- 0:15And here we have the two options,
- 0:17upload file and upload folder. When I
- 0:20click on upload file, a window will
- 0:23appear asking me to select a file. I'm
- 0:27going to select this one here and click
- 0:29on open. In the lower right corner, the
- 0:33upload process will begin and once it's
- 0:36finished, if I position myself over
- 0:38that element, I'll be able to highlight
- 0:41it. This is very useful when, for
- 0:43example, you have a large number of
- 0:45files in the root. Let's say root by
- 0:48definition, which is the main directory
- 0:51, that is, all the files that are
- 0:53directly on my drive are not stored in
- 0:56a specific folder. For example, old
- 0:59files are in my root, why? Because they
- 1:02are directly on my drive. This image is
- 1:05also in the root because it is directly
- 1:07on my drive. Unlike these here that are
- 1:10nested inside the old files folder,
- 1:12these here would not be in the root.
- 1:16That's how I managed to upload my first
- 1:18file. I can also upload folders. So I'm
- 1:22going to go here to select a folder and
- 1:24I'm going to look for, for example,
- 1:26this folder here that is lighter and
- 1:29I'm going to upload it. I'm going to
- 1:31start the upload. It's indicating here
- 1:34that it's going to be uploading two
- 1:36files for this site. And I'm going to
- 1:38do the upload. And you'll notice that
- 1:42the test folder is appearing here in
- 1:44the root. You saw, the status of the
- 1:49upload was also added at the bottom,
- 1:52which finished successfully, and I can
- 1:55also click here and it will highlight
- 1:58where that item was hosted. Once we see
- 2:04here inside the folder, the two files
- 2:06that were inside that folder were also
- 2:09added. I can also go into that folder
- 2:14and, as we saw in a previous video, we
- 2:16can create a new subfolder and within
- 2:22that subfolder we can also upload files
- 2:25and folders, only now it won't go
- 2:27directly to the root, but rather it
- 2:30will go directly to the folder in which
- 2:33we are positioned. For example, I'm
- 2:37going to upload a file and I'm going to
- 2:40bring this one from here, for example,
- 2:43and it will appear in the specific
- 2:46folder. Not only can I do it through
- 2:50these means, but I can also drag it
- 2:51from my computer and take it to Drive.
- 2:55For example, I'm going to drag this
- 2:57image from my desktop and I'm going to
- 3:00take it to my browser. You'll notice
- 3:03that a message will appear at the
- 3:05bottom saying, "Drop the files to
- 3:08upload them to and it's telling me
- 3:10example." So that's the name of the
- 3:12current folder. You'll notice that it
- 3:15has been successfully uploaded to my
- 3:18example folder and below it's
- 3:20indicating the status of the upload.
- 3:23And well, that would be all for this
- 3:25video. You know that I would like you
- 3:27to support the channel by subscribing
- 3:28and share it with anyone who might find
- 3:29it interesting. Thank you very much for
- 3:31your attention and may the force be
- 3:33with you.
