  1. 0:00Google AdSense. Yes, it's true.
  2. 0:04I've made over a half a million dollars
  3. 0:06with AdSense. And yes, each and every
  4. 0:10year they pay an estimated 30 billion
  5. 0:12dollars out through the AdSense program
  6. 0:15to various publishers, website owners,
  7. 0:17YouTubers, and more. And today, I'm
  8. 0:20going to show you exactly how this
  9. 0:22works, when to use it, when it pays more
  10. 0:25than affiliate offers, when to use
  11. 0:27affiliate offers, how to get paid the
  12. 0:29most, and pretty much everything you
  13. 0:31need to know to be an AdSense publisher
  14. 0:33to make money online. And not to give
  15. 0:36away how old I am, but I actually
  16. 0:38started making money with AdSense back
  17. 0:40in late 2002, early 2003. So, I know a
  18. 0:44thing or two about this and how you can
  19. 0:46make money with AdSense, affiliate
  20. 0:48marketing, AI, content creation, and
  21. 0:51more. So, if you're excited, smash the
  22. 0:53like button. Let's hop in the computer
  23. 0:55and go to work.
  24. 0:57>> [music]
  25. 1:03>> All right. So, AdSense, as you can tell,
  26. 1:05is not my biggest earner, but I have
  27. 1:07cracked a hundred thousand dollars a
  28. 1:08year with AdSense and most of the five
  29. 1:11hundred thousand I made was concentrated
  30. 1:13within a couple of years rather than
  31. 1:15drawn out over my whole career. There
  32. 1:17are some sites that I use AdSense on and
  33. 1:19some projects I use it for, but overall,
  34. 1:21there's only one time that I've used it
  35. 1:23where it was the big earner, and I'm
  36. 1:25going to show you that in a minute. It
  37. 1:26was on a mortgage site that I ran. So,
  38. 1:28let's go through and talk about how to
  39. 1:30make money with AdSense so that you know
  40. 1:31the truth of how it works. Because a lot
  41. 1:33of people out there have a lot of
  42. 1:34misconceptions about how it works, how
  43. 1:37to get paid, how much it pays, and
  44. 1:39different things like that, where to use
  45. 1:40it, stuff like that. So, what we're
  46. 1:42going to do is we're going to go through
  47. 1:43line by line and show you exactly what's
  48. 1:46going on here. So, if you want to make
  49. 1:48money with AdSense, this is pretty much
  50. 1:50what it looks like. This looks
  51. 1:51complicated, but don't worry, we're
  52. 1:53going to boil it down and kind of get
  53. 1:54into the nitty-gritty of how it actually
  54. 1:56works. When we go through, we need to
  55. 1:58understand what Google AdSense actually
  56. 2:01is. Google AdSense is very attractive to
  57. 2:04a lot of people
  58. 2:05because you could get paid without
  59. 2:07having
  60. 2:08affiliate offers or people buying things
  61. 2:10or anything like that. It is literally
  62. 2:12pay for impressions and pay per click
  63. 2:15where you're getting paid for clicks on
  64. 2:17ads. Very, very important, it is not
  65. 2:19like affiliate marketing in the sense
  66. 2:21that you have to put a link and then
  67. 2:22sell something. It's more like a display
  68. 2:25monetization system that pays you for
  69. 2:27attention, intent, and time spent. The
  70. 2:30reason people like this is because you
  71. 2:31could literally slap a code on your
  72. 2:33website, Google taps into the vast
  73. 2:36majority of advertisers, shows those
  74. 2:38ads, and when they're clicked on or
  75. 2:39shown a certain amount of time, you
  76. 2:41actually get paid. Now, there are some
  77. 2:43caveats there. It's not like you just
  78. 2:44throw it up and get paid every time
  79. 2:46someone clicks. There are some rules and
  80. 2:48things that we need to follow. But, you
  81. 2:50can publish helpful content, Google
  82. 2:52handles the advertisers, auctions,
  83. 2:54pricing, fraud detection, payments, and
  84. 2:56everything like that. We don't have to
  85. 2:57do any selling. We don't have to
  86. 2:59convince anyone. In fact, you don't want
  87. 3:01to convince people because you want to
  88. 3:03let the ads do their thing, and you
  89. 3:04never have to close sales or calls or
  90. 3:06deals or anything like that. It's very,
  91. 3:09very low-key, and our job is just to
  92. 3:12publish content. Now,
  93. 3:14I'm going to show you some of the good,
  94. 3:15the bad, and the ugly here. We're going
  95. 3:17to go through and look at the history of
  96. 3:19AdSense. I've been in this industry for
  97. 3:21a long time. Jeremy was one of the first
  98. 3:23people to be popular for his giant
  99. 3:26AdSense check. If you're to go search
  100. 3:28for that in Google, you'll find it. He
  101. 3:30had a monthly earning of like a hundred
  102. 3:31and thirty-two thousand dollars. I
  103. 3:33believe my best month with AdSense was
  104. 3:36right around twenty-seven thousand,
  105. 3:38which is pretty cool. It was a It was a
  106. 3:39while ago. I since then have found how
  107. 3:42to monetize in different ways, but that
  108. 3:43was a pretty good one. So, understanding
  109. 3:45that this can actually be very lucrative
  110. 3:47is super important. And this is
  111. 3:49basically the crux of all the people
  112. 3:51that are talking about faceless content,
  113. 3:53faceless videos, stuff like that. What
  114. 3:55we're seeing is this is where the world
  115. 3:57came from. And that's why I want to make
  116. 3:58these videos because being in this
  117. 4:00industry as long as I have,
  118. 4:02you start to see trends and you start to
  119. 4:05understand that nothing's really new.
  120. 4:07Even with AI, like there's nothing
  121. 4:09really new. It fits into a box. It just
  122. 4:11makes a certain set of things easier.
  123. 4:13Right? Like for AdSense, we used to have
  124. 4:15to write articles and content. Now, you
  125. 4:18can have AI do it. Now, be very, very
  126. 4:20careful because with AdSense and with
  127. 4:23YouTube, they are strict on their AI
  128. 4:26rules. So, it's not like you can just
  129. 4:28put
  130. 4:29AI slop out there and get paid. You do
  131. 4:31have to follow rules. Now, AdSense is
  132. 4:33super attractive because you don't have
  133. 4:34to sell. Obviously,
  134. 4:36people love faceless video channels as a
  135. 4:39business opportunity or business method
  136. 4:41because of the fact that you don't have
  137. 4:43to have a website, you don't have to All
  138. 4:44you have to do is make videos and
  139. 4:46AdSense pays you through the advertiser
  140. 4:48platform. That's why people really like
  141. 4:50this. AdSense equals no sales, no
  142. 4:52pitching, no convincing, no closing,
  143. 4:53which is very, very attractive. What we
  144. 4:56do is we provide the content and the
  145. 4:58traffic, Google handles the advertisers,
  146. 5:01the auctions, pricing, getting paid,
  147. 5:04everything like that, and they send you
  148. 5:05a check. Now, I have heard different
  149. 5:07terms on how much advertisers are paid.
  150. 5:10I think it's pretty much around the 55%
  151. 5:14is what they pay out. I think on YouTube
  152. 5:16it might be a little bit higher or
  153. 5:18lower. Um, but I think on actual
  154. 5:20AdSense, I don't know if they've said
  155. 5:23this publicly, but a lot of people
  156. 5:24speculate that it's around 68%,
  157. 5:27which is pretty solid. Like, I don't
  158. 5:28have to do any work. I just put the code
  159. 5:30on my site and I get the lion's share of
  160. 5:32the money. That's pretty cool. And you
  161. 5:34could see here what they're actually
  162. 5:36paying out
  163. 5:37on these different platforms. YouTube
  164. 5:40definitely is is growing. There are some
  165. 5:41YouTube AdSense publishers that do
  166. 5:43really well. Now, fun fact, my best day
  167. 5:46on AdSense was around seventeen hundred
  168. 5:48dollars, and on that day, it had nothing
  169. 5:51It was before I started doing videos.
  170. 5:53So, it was long before. It was on a
  171. 5:55content site. I'll show you how that
  172. 5:56works in just a little bit. Now, when we
  173. 5:58look at how AdSense works, basically,
  174. 6:00you're going to make a website, which is
  175. 6:02content, or you create a YouTube channel
  176. 6:04or an app. Google is going to review the
  177. 6:06quality and the compliance. So, if
  178. 6:08you're talking about things Google
  179. 6:09doesn't approve of or things that they
  180. 6:11don't want to pay on or something their
  181. 6:13advertisers don't like, they're going to
  182. 6:15reject you. A lot of people do get
  183. 6:17rejected on the first go around, but you
  184. 6:19got to stick to it, make good content,
  185. 6:21and make things work. Once you get
  186. 6:23approved, you get a code, you put the
  187. 6:25code on your website. It's very easy.
  188. 6:27Just copy and paste it onto any website
  189. 6:29and it'll show, and the ads will
  190. 6:31dynamically adapt to your content topic,
  191. 6:34user intent, geography. What this does,
  192. 6:38it's like the reverse of SEO, okay? SEO
  193. 6:40is the art of showing up on Google,
  194. 6:44right? Like, I want to show up on Google
  195. 6:46for a keyword money or whatever it is,
  196. 6:49okay?
  197. 6:50Google AdSense is the exact opposite
  198. 6:53script where it's reading what your
  199. 6:56website's about so that it can find ads
  200. 6:59that are going to fit. Now, this is
  201. 7:01super important because the different
  202. 7:03topic you're in is going to determine
  203. 7:05the amount of money that is available in
  204. 7:08that
  205. 7:09pool, right? So, like, if you're making
  206. 7:10content about funny cats, obviously,
  207. 7:13that's going to pay like 0.0001
  208. 7:16cent per click or view, whereas if
  209. 7:18you're talking about credit cards or
  210. 7:19mortgages or big topics, then it's going
  211. 7:22to be something different. Like, home
  212. 7:23improvement might be a much more
  213. 7:25expensive ad than, say, you know, some
  214. 7:28funny video or YouTube gossip or
  215. 7:30something like that, okay? Going through
  216. 7:32and understanding this is key because if
  217. 7:34you're looking at doing this to make
  218. 7:35money, whether it's a faceless channel,
  219. 7:37whether it's a blog, whatever it is, you
  220. 7:40choose the topic. So, like, if your
  221. 7:41topic isn't paying, it's because you
  222. 7:42chose the wrong topic. So, pick
  223. 7:44something that If you're looking to make
  224. 7:46money, pick something that has
  225. 7:48advertisers in it. I'll show you how to
  226. 7:49find those in just a little bit. We'll
  227. 7:51talk about uh SpyFu, which is a great
  228. 7:53place to find what is being paid. Now,
  229. 7:57very important to remember, SpyFu is
  230. 7:59just a tool. It does not tell you what
  231. 8:01you're going to make or anything like
  232. 8:02that.
  233. 8:03Number five, the earnings accumulate
  234. 8:05within your AdSense account, and the
  235. 8:07monthly payout you get is after you make
  236. 8:09a hundred dollars. No funnels, no
  237. 8:11checkout pages, no customer support. You
  238. 8:13could literally make a website about
  239. 8:15whatever you want to talk about, get
  240. 8:16traffic, they click on ads, they see
  241. 8:18ads, you get paid. This is probably the
  242. 8:21lowest barrier of entry to making money
  243. 8:23online, which is why people love it.
  244. 8:25Back in 2002, 2003, when AdSense came
  245. 8:28out, I was so happy. Before that, I was
  246. 8:31using FindWhat and Seven Search, which I
  247. 8:34really liked FindWhat, but their
  248. 8:35platform
  249. 8:37was kind of wonky. They didn't have uh
  250. 8:38enough advertisers. The benefit of
  251. 8:40Google is they have all the advertisers.
  252. 8:42So, like, they have the money. They're
  253. 8:44making hundreds of bazillions of
  254. 8:45dollars. So, tapping into that
  255. 8:48is key. If you go to, like, Ezoic
  256. 8:51or Mediavine, much less advertisers, so
  257. 8:54the amount you're going to make is
  258. 8:55lower. Very important. Now, sometimes
  259. 8:57it'll be higher. I'll talk to you about
  260. 8:59that in just a minute. Like with
  261. 9:01FindWhat, I was able to target a certain
  262. 9:03demographic, get a custom code from
  263. 9:05them, and thus make more. So,
  264. 9:07understanding how all these fit in is
  265. 9:09good. Because here's the deal. You want
  266. 9:11to do faceless videos, you want to do
  267. 9:12AdSense, you want to make content, you
  268. 9:13want to use a AI, fine, great,
  269. 9:15wonderful, but at the end of the day,
  270. 9:17you are a business person. That's what
  271. 9:20you do. So, if you don't treat this like
  272. 9:22a business, if you're just out there,
  273. 9:24you know, trying to do whatever the
  274. 9:26gurus say,
  275. 9:28that's going to be difficult. We want to
  276. 9:29treat this like a business and really
  277. 9:31look at strategy before we implement.
  278. 9:34And this is a problem I have with a lot
  279. 9:36of content out there about making money
  280. 9:38online where people will talk about,
  281. 9:40"Oh, here's how to make a video with
  282. 9:42AI."
  283. 9:43And then they'll do, like, two seconds
  284. 9:45on how to get traffic and make money.
  285. 9:47My videos, I like to do the opposite
  286. 9:49where I talk about the strategy because,
  287. 9:51like, let's face it, the strategy is
  288. 9:53what you need. You could go figure out
  289. 9:55how to make an AI video. That's not hard
  290. 9:57to do. You can figure out how to make
  291. 9:58content. You can figure all that other
  292. 9:59stuff out. The strategy is the thing
  293. 10:02that takes the money and and makes it,
  294. 10:04right? That's what's actually going to
  295. 10:06get you ahead. So, understanding that's
  296. 10:07key. Now, the types of ads that AdSense
  297. 10:09has,
  298. 10:11AdSense follows attention, not
  299. 10:13platforms. They're going to look at
  300. 10:15websites and blogs. Contrary to popular
  301. 10:16belief, there are still a lot of people
  302. 10:18making money with AdSense, even with all
  303. 10:20the Google changes and things like that,
  304. 10:23it's still making a ton of money.
  305. 10:24Classic
  306. 10:26are display or responsive ads. What's a
  307. 10:28display ad? Well, there's two different
  308. 10:30types of ads. You can have what's called
  309. 10:33a text ad. This is where there'd be text
  310. 10:36on a website. It's like words, text.
  311. 10:38Display ad would be a box. Now, a
  312. 10:40display ad simply just means this spot
  313. 10:45displays something. It could be an
  314. 10:46image, it could be a video, it could be
  315. 10:48a you know, revolving image, a flash
  316. 10:50thing, or something like that, okay?
  317. 10:52Pretty cool. Understanding that is key.
  318. 10:55The one that we make the most money on
  319. 10:57is using display ads that show text.
  320. 11:00Text will always out pull images. I've
  321. 11:04tested it for many years. It is always
  322. 11:06the case, unless the image is based on
  323. 11:08text. More about that in a minute. So,
  324. 11:10what we're going to look at
  325. 11:12is display or responsive, meaning it
  326. 11:14works on mobile, text ads, often blue
  327. 11:16link style, like a blue link. People are
  328. 11:18trained to click the blue link. Don't
  329. 11:20fight it. It works. In-feed ads, this is
  330. 11:23where you have like native in lists,
  331. 11:25where it kind of looks like content, but
  332. 11:28obviously you want to disclose that it
  333. 11:29is an ad box. That's why it says ads by
  334. 11:31Google. In-article ads, where, you know,
  335. 11:34maybe it's
  336. 11:35next to the text or something like that,
  337. 11:37matched content, um anchor ads, vignette
  338. 11:41ads, which is for mobile, different
  339. 11:43things like that. Well, we're going to
  340. 11:44focus on these text ads. Those are the
  341. 11:46ones that work the best, where you have
  342. 11:48just words, text on the page. Very, very
  343. 11:52important. Best for evergreen audience
  344. 11:54glossaries, tools, calculators, and
  345. 11:56informational blogs. So, one of the
  346. 11:57things that's cool about AdSense is it's
  347. 11:59based on the traffic you get, not the
  348. 12:02content you have. So, when I was doing
  349. 12:05my best website with AdSense, it was a
  350. 12:08mortgage calculator website, and this
  351. 12:11site I I literally went out there. This
  352. 12:12was before AI. I paid $149 for the
  353. 12:16rights to a bunch of different
  354. 12:18calculators for mortgages. It's like a
  355. 12:20monthly payment calculator, or a
  356. 12:22percentage calculator, this, all these
  357. 12:24different calculators for mortgage. I
  358. 12:26put them all on my website,
  359. 12:28designed the website and everything like
  360. 12:29that, and had ads on the site. And
  361. 12:31people would go there to use the
  362. 12:32calculators, so I didn't have to have a
  363. 12:35bazillion articles of information. I
  364. 12:38just had the tools and some little text
  365. 12:40and stuff like that. Understanding
  366. 12:42that's key. You don't have to have a
  367. 12:43gigantic site. It just needs to be a
  368. 12:45good site. Some places have a tool, like
  369. 12:48there's one where
  370. 12:49like a PDF converter, where it converts
  371. 12:51different files. Very good for ads,
  372. 12:54right? And
  373. 12:55get a bunch of traffic. Some of these
  374. 12:56companies make a ton of money. Or you
  375. 12:59look at something like
  376. 13:01um
  377. 13:01what is wikiHow, or any of those other
  378. 13:04sites that are basically serving
  379. 13:06content. I'll I'll put the links in the
  380. 13:08description. We have a couple of
  381. 13:09breakdowns of them, and these are
  382. 13:11AdSense publishers that are making a lot
  383. 13:14of money. I mean, we did one they was
  384. 13:16talking about they were making like a
  385. 13:17hundred grand a day, maybe even more.
  386. 13:19So, understanding that's key. Now,
  387. 13:21remember, I've made a lot of money, a
  388. 13:23lot of people make a lot of money. The
  389. 13:25vast majority of people watching videos
  390. 13:27and trying to quote-unquote make money
  391. 13:28online make nothing. So, take this with
  392. 13:31a grain of salt. This is a business.
  393. 13:33That's why I teach you strategy and
  394. 13:35business first, because I don't want you
  395. 13:37to go out there and make a bunch of
  396. 13:39videos thinking that's going to get you
  397. 13:41ahead when you have no strategy. We need
  398. 13:43strategy first. Now, another thing you
  399. 13:45can do is YouTube. AdSense does show on
  400. 13:48YouTube videos. So, when you're watching
  401. 13:50a video here and an ad shows up, usually
  402. 13:54if the publisher is in the partner
  403. 13:56program, they get paid based on the ads
  404. 13:59that show. Pretty basic stuff. They have
  405. 14:01pre-roll ads, which is before a video,
  406. 14:03mid-roll, which is in the middle of a
  407. 14:04video, like this video's going to be
  408. 14:06long, so it'll have a lot of mid-roll,
  409. 14:08post-roll, which is after, or overlay,
  410. 14:10when an ad shows up and it's like a
  411. 14:12little banner box in the video.
  412. 14:15Also, shorts ads, okay? So, there's lots
  413. 14:18of ways that ads show up, display ads,
  414. 14:21besides videos, things like that. What
  415. 14:23we're optimizing here is watch time,
  416. 14:25retention, session duration, and more.
  417. 14:28You do zero placement work. You just
  418. 14:31create content. That's why people love
  419. 14:32AdSense. I could just create content, do
  420. 14:34what I love doing, and they send you a
  421. 14:37check based on the ads and the views and
  422. 14:39things like that. Super important. They
  423. 14:41also have mobile apps, where mobile apps
  424. 14:43have AdSense in them. That's why, you
  425. 14:45know, you might be playing a game on
  426. 14:46your phone and there's a little ad that
  427. 14:48says ad by Google. That's how it works.
  428. 14:51This is best for simple utilities,
  429. 14:52calculators, timers, tools, and things
  430. 14:54like that. Now, we want to understand
  431. 14:56also, this is all based on the topic.
  432. 14:59So, if your app is, you know,
  433. 15:01a bird game, right? That's not going to
  434. 15:04make as much as an app that's like
  435. 15:05helping you measure drywall or something
  436. 15:08like that. Understanding all these
  437. 15:09things is going to help you make better
  438. 15:11decisions in business. Now, AdSense
  439. 15:14versus affiliate marketing. AdSense is a
  440. 15:17revenue model based on impressions and
  441. 15:18clicks. You control the topic and
  442. 15:20intent. It's best for non-buyers,
  443. 15:23researchers. So, like if someone is
  444. 15:24searching for I want to buy web hosting,
  445. 15:28it's probably best to link them to a web
  446. 15:29hosting affiliate program, not just
  447. 15:31AdSense. AdSense might actually lose you
  448. 15:34money on that example.
  449. 15:36Google pays you direct on these, and the
  450. 15:38effort is pretty passive. You just kick
  451. 15:40back, make content, there you go. Works
  452. 15:42really well. That's why you see all
  453. 15:43these faceless video creators going
  454. 15:45crazy and making a bunch of money. Why?
  455. 15:47Because AdSense is it works. It's really
  456. 15:50good. It's a solid system. Now, they are
  457. 15:52strict on certain types of AI content.
  458. 15:55Make sure whatever you're doing fits
  459. 15:57what they're doing, otherwise you might
  460. 15:59not get paid. Very important, or you
  461. 16:01could get shut down. There's a lot of
  462. 16:02different variables there that you have
  463. 16:04to look at. Always read the terms and
  464. 16:06conditions. When you see something new
  465. 16:08pop up, follow the rule. You want to get
  466. 16:10paid, you got to follow the rule. Just
  467. 16:11like if you were going to work, you
  468. 16:13wouldn't be like, "Hey boss, I'm going
  469. 16:14to do what I want." He's like, "No, you
  470. 16:16kind of got to do what I tell you.
  471. 16:17That's why I give you a check. You don't
  472. 16:19just to come in here and, you know,
  473. 16:21eat lunch and have parties all day. You
  474. 16:23have to do these things." And that's the
  475. 16:25same here. While it's not as strict as a
  476. 16:27boss, there are certain things you need
  477. 16:29to follow. With affiliate marketing,
  478. 16:31there's a little bit more freedom,
  479. 16:33where you can choose what you want
  480. 16:35where. You can flip different markets
  481. 16:37into different things.
  482. 16:39Different stuff going on. We're going to
  483. 16:40talk about all this in just a minute,
  484. 16:41because with that example I talked about
  485. 16:43with the mortgage thing, there were
  486. 16:45different things that I learned that
  487. 16:48will end up with more money. This is
  488. 16:51about making websites that really serve
  489. 16:53the need the need and moving the intent
  490. 16:56line. Intent. Guy looking up mortgage
  491. 16:59calculator just passive, how much am I
  492. 17:00going to pay? Guy actually looking to
  493. 17:03apply for a mortgage, boom, there you
  494. 17:05go.
  495. 17:06And what you could do is you could have
  496. 17:07a website
  497. 17:08and you have a page about
  498. 17:11how to apply.
  499. 17:13That page changes the intent, where
  500. 17:15maybe you have an affiliate offer or
  501. 17:16something like that.
  502. 17:17Combining AdSense with other stuff
  503. 17:20is a fantastic way to make money online.
  504. 17:22Offer control, um the control you get
  505. 17:25offer selection, like if I have my
  506. 17:26website, I can put whatever affiliate
  507. 17:28offer I want on it. Obviously, follow
  508. 17:30the rules and terms and conditions and
  509. 17:32ethics and everything like that, but I
  510. 17:33am free to do that, or Google is going
  511. 17:36to find the the ad in the AdSense model.
  512. 17:38Payment, you're going to get paid by a
  513. 17:39merchant or network or a bunch of
  514. 17:41places, versus Google just sending you
  515. 17:43one. Now, we are seeing consolidation of
  516. 17:46a lot of this stuff, like
  517. 17:47YouTube now has AdSense, it has
  518. 17:49memberships, it has stars and rewards.
  519. 17:52There's all kinds of different things
  520. 17:54like likes or super chats. All of that
  521. 17:57is processed through the ad system, so
  522. 17:59you are paid one on all of it. That's
  523. 18:02why this is attractive. What people want
  524. 18:04when it comes to making money online is
  525. 18:06they want the lowest barrier of entry
  526. 18:07possible,
  527. 18:08which often times leads to making less
  528. 18:12money. Because think about it this way.
  529. 18:14If an advertiser is willing to pay for
  530. 18:15an ad on your website,
  531. 18:18wouldn't it be safe to say they're
  532. 18:20making more money than the ad costs?
  533. 18:22Exactly. That's like the point of
  534. 18:24advertising. And I think they say
  535. 18:26somewhere, don't quote me on it, results
  536. 18:27not typical implied or guaranteed, but
  537. 18:29it says that the average person that
  538. 18:31spends a dollar on AdWords, which is the
  539. 18:34opposite of AdSense, right? AdWords is
  540. 18:36where they get the advertisers.
  541. 18:38AdSense is where they put the ads on the
  542. 18:40sites.
  543. 18:41AdWords,
  544. 18:42they say that the average is if they put
  545. 18:44a dollar in, they usually get $8 in ROI,
  546. 18:47which means they're making a lot more,
  547. 18:49which as a business owner, I want to be
  548. 18:50like, "Well, what are they doing that
  549. 18:52I'm not doing?" Cuz I'd rather have
  550. 18:53eight times the money than one.
  551. 18:55That's just the way that I think. Again,
  552. 18:57it's not typical or anything like that.
  553. 18:58It's just business thinking. And I
  554. 19:00myself have seen the difference in doing
  555. 19:03this. I had a website that literally
  556. 19:05made,
  557. 19:06I mean, $12 a day with AdSense,
  558. 19:09and using affiliate marketing, that same
  559. 19:12exact traffic made me $4,500 a day.
  560. 19:16Now, are you going to go out there and
  561. 19:17make $4,500 a day? Of course not. You
  562. 19:20got to look at this like a business. I'm
  563. 19:22I'm saying these results to show you the
  564. 19:24drastic difference between what Google
  565. 19:27can find as an ad and what I know as an
  566. 19:29affiliate marketer. You got to combine
  567. 19:31these things. Now, AdSense pays for
  568. 19:33three things, attention,
  569. 19:35intent, and time spent. So, attention,
  570. 19:38right? Like you got an ad for, you know,
  571. 19:40the Snuggie or whatever, right? You got
  572. 19:42the attention of people watching
  573. 19:44fireplace videos. Snuggie would probably
  574. 19:46be a pretty darn good ad for those
  575. 19:47videos. So, that would be attention.
  576. 19:49Intent would be someone watching a video
  577. 19:51about how do I save money on this? Okay,
  578. 19:55cool. And then time spent is obviously
  579. 19:58if someone watches an hour-long video,
  580. 20:01they're going to pay more because
  581. 20:02there's more ads, more intent, more
  582. 20:04attention than just a 2-minute video.
  583. 20:07This is why like I'm not a big fan of
  584. 20:10creating shorts. One because it's really
  585. 20:12hard for me to say something in a minute
  586. 20:14or less. I just talk too long. That's
  587. 20:16the way it is, right? But hopefully you
  588. 20:18guys like this stuff. And going through
  589. 20:20and looking at that, shorts pay very,
  590. 20:22very little. Um where I'd rather just
  591. 20:24sit down and make a really good
  592. 20:2610-minute video and get paid more than,
  593. 20:28you know, trying to get a million views
  594. 20:30on shorts. However, it is easier to get
  595. 20:32views on shorts because there's no
  596. 20:34investment, right? I see something
  597. 20:35that's like, "How to make money
  598. 20:37overnight?" And it's a 30-second video.
  599. 20:39It's like, "Ah, I might as well spend 30
  600. 20:40seconds see what the guy has to say."
  601. 20:42When you see a video like this, you're
  602. 20:43like, "Do I really have an hour to learn
  603. 20:45about AdSense?" Yeah, I don't know. But
  604. 20:49guess what? The people who will spend an
  605. 20:51hour are highly intent on making this
  606. 20:54work. Very, very important. So we got to
  607. 20:57understand that. Now, metrics that
  608. 20:58matter, I don't know why, but my
  609. 21:00software would not make these
  610. 21:02They wouldn't make them show up. But
  611. 21:04anyway, we needed to look at the metrics
  612. 21:06because with affiliate marketing you
  613. 21:07have what's known as an EPC, which is
  614. 21:09earnings per click. If I send 100 clicks
  615. 21:12to this offer and make $100, my EPC is,
  616. 21:15drum roll, bring, $1. Simple. AdSense
  617. 21:19equivalent is CPC or cost per click or
  618. 21:22something like that. It's going to show
  619. 21:23you what you make per click. Link CTR
  620. 21:26versus ad CTR. So like how many people
  621. 21:29on my blog click on a link? How many
  622. 21:31people that saw the AdSense box clicked
  623. 21:33on an ad? Simple stuff. Conversion rate,
  624. 21:36advertiser controlled. Then you have
  625. 21:37your RPMs, which is revenue per mil or
  626. 21:40thousand, and you're going to see how
  627. 21:42that works, okay?
  628. 21:44Simple stuff. We don't control
  629. 21:45conversions, we control intent. That's
  630. 21:48the game of AdSense. We control topic,
  631. 21:50the intent, the traffic source, the ad
  632. 21:52placement, and the user interface. We do
  633. 21:55not control, if we're just using
  634. 21:57AdSense, advertisers, pricing, or
  635. 22:00conversions. That code literally does it
  636. 22:02all for us. Very important. Now, here's
  637. 22:05the big
  638. 22:07big question. How much can you make with
  639. 22:10AdSense? Well, it's
  640. 22:12it's a give-and-take. You look at my
  641. 22:14career and I'm like, "Okay, I've been at
  642. 22:16this 26 years, 500 grand." I think I'm
  643. 22:18probably closer to 800 grand or a
  644. 22:20million if I calculate all my AdSense
  645. 22:23over all the years, but that's literally
  646. 22:26less than like a 20th of my income. So
  647. 22:29looking at that, it's like, "Okay,
  648. 22:31that's not the big kahuna." But it can
  649. 22:33make a lot and in some niches it will.
  650. 22:35Like there's some YouTube niches that
  651. 22:37like, yeah, it thrives on on on the
  652. 22:39AdSense platform versus selling your own
  653. 22:41stuff. Just depends on what niche you're
  654. 22:43in. I'm a big believer of build a
  655. 22:44mailing list, build an audience, build a
  656. 22:46business. But if you just want to do
  657. 22:48AdSense, there is a lot of money out
  658. 22:50there. The average person trying to make
  659. 22:52money makes nothing.
  660. 22:54What we're going to look at for earnings
  661. 22:55is traffic volume, geography, right?
  662. 22:58Different countries pay more. Like
  663. 23:00obviously some countries can't afford
  664. 23:03expensive refrigerators, so that ad in a
  665. 23:06different country will show less. So
  666. 23:08even though your content is for USA,
  667. 23:11maybe it's going somewhere else and the
  668. 23:12ads and things like that. I focus on
  669. 23:15certain demographics. Like a lot of
  670. 23:17people always want me to translate my
  671. 23:18videos and stuff. At the end of the day,
  672. 23:21is that going to earn as much just by
  673. 23:24translating? Usually the answer is no,
  674. 23:26which is why we don't do it. And I don't
  675. 23:28want to have to adapt all the things to
  676. 23:30that. And the amount paid in different
  677. 23:33countries is not worth it in some cases.
  678. 23:37Understanding this like a business
  679. 23:38person, you don't want to just go hire a
  680. 23:41team to translate all your videos
  681. 23:43because three people asked you for it.
  682. 23:46Got to make a good business decision.
  683. 23:48Niche competitiveness is is key. Like
  684. 23:50mortgage pays more. Why? Because there's
  685. 23:52a lot of mortgage people who want that
  686. 23:53traffic. User intent, layout, and
  687. 23:56engagement. Low intent equals very bad
  688. 23:59RPM. So like if your people are like
  689. 24:01just, you know, I want a quote of the
  690. 24:03day,
  691. 24:04that's a low intent. They just want a
  692. 24:06quote. That's all they want. They don't
  693. 24:07want to buy anything. That's where like,
  694. 24:09"Okay, maybe I'd go into print on demand
  695. 24:11if I have a quote of the day and I have
  696. 24:12a million people coming to my site,
  697. 24:14maybe do a print on demand for the quote
  698. 24:16of the day. If they like it, they can
  699. 24:17get the t-shirt." That's going to make
  700. 24:19more than just generic ads. We need to
  701. 24:22think about our traffic in a very
  702. 24:23specific way. And that's why I brought
  703. 24:25up the example of the $12 site where I
  704. 24:27was making 12 and I got a good day I
  705. 24:29made $60 versus the 4,500.
  706. 24:33Right? I wanted to bring that up because
  707. 24:35like had I not found that, I would have
  708. 24:37thought that niche was just a dud. And
  709. 24:39it did take some work to look at it. It
  710. 24:41took a lot of traffic and a lot of
  711. 24:42effort to learn how that would work. But
  712. 24:45some trash niches that have junk traffic
  713. 24:49that advertisers aren't going after, if
  714. 24:52you're creative enough, sometimes you
  715. 24:54can find the money. Now, AdSense
  716. 24:56probably won't find it.
  717. 24:58Right? They're probably just going to
  718. 24:59show the ads and, you know, it'll be
  719. 25:01pretty generic. Although with AI, I
  720. 25:03think this is going to get better. Like
  721. 25:05I think once AI, Google Gemini is in
  722. 25:08this understanding, "Oh, this guy might
  723. 25:10want to learn how to, you know, buckle
  724. 25:12his shoes."
  725. 25:14It's going to lead to buying a new
  726. 25:15tuxedo or whatever. Maybe the AI will
  727. 25:17know that and the CPMs I think are going
  728. 25:19to go up.
  729. 25:20Which is cool. Decent info niches like
  730. 25:23run-of-the-mill like money videos or uh
  731. 25:26personal development or something like
  732. 25:27that.
  733. 25:28Higher RPM. These are also higher RPM.
  734. 25:31Now, remember these are not typical
  735. 25:33implied or guaranteed. It completely
  736. 25:35depends. Like it depends on your site.
  737. 25:37If your site is not structured properly
  738. 25:40and the AdSense reads it as like, "Oh,
  739. 25:43this site's about happy faces." when
  740. 25:45it's actually about mortgages, that's
  741. 25:47going to factor in. There's a lot of
  742. 25:48things to look at. And the best thing to
  743. 25:49do, get familiar with the the
  744. 25:52directions, terms and conditions,
  745. 25:53understand how it works, understand what
  746. 25:55you can and can't do, and then test.
  747. 25:58Test it, see what works. You'll find on
  748. 26:01your site it might be different. For me,
  749. 26:04white background, blue text, uh blue
  750. 26:07links, black text, and red somewhere on
  751. 26:09it was always the best. Now, if you have
  752. 26:12a site that's, you know, dark with these
  753. 26:14colors, you might want neon and
  754. 26:15whatever. You want to make it fit. Okay?
  755. 26:17So that's where testing comes in. Now,
  756. 26:19the content to cash flow looks like
  757. 26:20this.
  758. 26:22You create content, whether it's a blog,
  759. 26:24uh a tool, whether it's uh you know,
  760. 26:26maybe a list of prompts or hosting
  761. 26:29companies or whatever it is, review
  762. 26:30article. Okay, you're going to make that
  763. 26:32content. You're going to get traffic.
  764. 26:34The ad auction is going to find ads that
  765. 26:37want your topic. Right? And it's the way
  766. 26:39the AdSense works. Again, it's the
  767. 26:41reverse of AdWords. If I make an AdWords
  768. 26:44ad, I can go out there and say, "Hey,
  769. 26:46you know what? I want to put an ad on AI
  770. 26:48Profit Scoop." And I can bid on that one
  771. 26:50alone. So it's very, very precise. But
  772. 26:53what's going to happen is that auction
  773. 26:55is going to display the ads in real time
  774. 26:57and it'll find them. It's like, "Oh,
  775. 26:58this guy bids now. When he stops his
  776. 27:00budget, his ad goes out of rotation."
  777. 27:02It's all automated. It's pretty amazing
  778. 27:05how it works. And I think that not
  779. 27:07enough props were given to the guy who
  780. 27:09said, "Let's use AdSense." Because back
  781. 27:11in the day Google was like, "Hey, wait a
  782. 27:13minute. We're losing all this traffic to
  783. 27:15all these people."
  784. 27:16AdSense helped them get it back, which I
  785. 27:18think that was one of Google's smartest
  786. 27:20decisions ever. So they display on the
  787. 27:23site like that.
  788. 27:24User engages with the ad, whether it's a
  789. 27:26view, impression, or a click, and then
  790. 27:28that is where the money is made. Now,
  791. 27:30the requirements are original helpful
  792. 27:33content. Google's been pretty clear that
  793. 27:35they're okay with AI content as long
  794. 27:37it's original and helpful. Right now, a
  795. 27:40lot of YouTubers are facing the
  796. 27:42unhelpful content or non-unique content
  797. 27:45or something like that where they're
  798. 27:46borderline like making spam.
  799. 27:48Unfortunately, AI has created a massive
  800. 27:51spam problem. Like you think of back in
  801. 27:53the day when you got like 50 emails a
  802. 27:55day, this is beyond that. It is
  803. 27:58insanity. Like 60, 70, 80% of the entire
  804. 28:02internet is now AI slop or spam.
  805. 28:06Kind of difficult. So the cool part for
  806. 28:08people like me is, you know what? I
  807. 28:10choose to sit here and make the video
  808. 28:12for you
  809. 28:13in my real person, even when I don't
  810. 28:15feel like it, even when I'm tired. I sit
  811. 28:18here and do it because it's original
  812. 28:19helpful content and I'd rather do that
  813. 28:21than some AI slop just to get stuff out
  814. 28:24there. Now, it is to each his own. There
  815. 28:26are some people making a lot with AI
  816. 28:28slop. I mean, it just depends on who's
  817. 28:30going to pay you for it. AdSense usually
  818. 28:32doesn't like it. That's usually why you
  819. 28:34get rejected. Clear navigation.
  820. 28:36Is there a privacy policy, terms and
  821. 28:38conditions, and is your traffic legit?
  822. 28:41That's the big one. Like if you're out
  823. 28:43there and you're sending traffic from
  824. 28:45something that has nothing to do with,
  825. 28:47like let's say you have a mortgage site
  826. 28:49and you're like, "I'm going to send
  827. 28:50people from, you know, some Facebook
  828. 28:53clickbait." Okay, that's not legit
  829. 28:55traffic. They don't legitimately want to
  830. 28:57read your site cuz they want to read it.
  831. 28:59You need people that legitimately want
  832. 29:01to read your content cuz they like it.
  833. 29:03Also, another thing you have to look at
  834. 29:05is no prohibited topics. So there's a
  835. 29:07lot of list of topics. Go look at their
  836. 29:09terms and conditions. There's certain
  837. 29:10things you can't and probably shouldn't
  838. 29:13touch with a 10-ft pole. And there is a
  839. 29:15quality minimum. Okay? There's no
  840. 29:17traffic minimum. Like they're like,
  841. 29:19"Okay, you get traffic. That's cool. You
  842. 29:20can make a dollar or whatever." There is
  843. 29:22a quality minimum. You do need quality
  844. 29:25traffic, ethical good stuff. Right?
  845. 29:29AdSense through the affiliate lens. When
  846. 29:30I look at this through affiliate
  847. 29:31marketing, um I get to choose the offer.
  848. 29:34AdSense, Google chooses it. That's the
  849. 29:35biggest downside. Like I want to go out
  850. 29:37there and I want it I want to put what I
  851. 29:40want in front of the advertiser or in
  852. 29:42front of the customer because I know
  853. 29:44I know my customer
  854. 29:46better than an algorithm does. I know
  855. 29:48what they want. Now, the algorithms are
  856. 29:50getting smarter, which might flip this a
  857. 29:52little bit, but I usually know what they
  858. 29:57want based on my niche research. That's
  859. 29:59what the whole flippa market thing's
  860. 30:00about. Like if I can understand that
  861. 30:02someone wanting a packing checklist
  862. 30:04eventually is going to hire a $10,000
  863. 30:06moving company,
  864. 30:08boom, there's where the money is.
  865. 30:09Algorithms don't pick up on things like
  866. 30:11that, and that to me is the most
  867. 30:14important lesson in marketing. Because
  868. 30:17if you can figure out how to get
  869. 30:18customers before they know they're going
  870. 30:19to be customers yet,
  871. 30:21that's where most of my money has been
  872. 30:22made. So, what we can't control with
  873. 30:24AdSense is topic, intent, traffic
  874. 30:26source, ad placement, or or this is what
  875. 30:29we can control, sorry. What we cannot
  876. 30:31control is advertiser pricing and
  877. 30:33conversions. Now,
  878. 30:34where AdSense is going to play best is
  879. 30:37where you do not have or cannot get an
  880. 30:40affiliate offer. So, like if you have,
  881. 30:42you know, some high-paying thing, like
  882. 30:44this stuff here. We talked about the
  883. 30:45senior care example last week. Talked
  884. 30:48about how that works. Again, looking at
  885. 30:51the SpyFu, if you were to go over and
  886. 30:53look at SpyFu over here, let's do SpyFu
  887. 30:56the right way, SpyFu, right like this.
  888. 30:59What's going to happen is it's going to
  889. 31:00give you an idea of the amount they pay.
  890. 31:04You can get a better result from Google
  891. 31:06AdWords. The AdWords planner will tell
  892. 31:08you a better amount. Sometimes SpyFu's
  893. 31:11not super accurate. But if we were to do
  894. 31:12like in-home senior
  895. 31:16care,
  896. 31:18you're going to see what advertisers are
  897. 31:20paying.
  898. 31:21Okay, so here we have
  899. 31:24$5.50 a click. Now, you might look at
  900. 31:27this and be like, "Dang, Marcus, $5.50 a
  901. 31:29click and I get 68%?
  902. 31:32Bro, sign me up. I'll just send a bunch
  903. 31:34of clicks." That's not exactly how it
  904. 31:36works. This is the cost per click on
  905. 31:39Google. There are two bidding platforms,
  906. 31:43okay? As an advertiser, so it's
  907. 31:45important that you know this stuff. As
  908. 31:47an advertiser, I need to understand
  909. 31:50there is Google AdWords and there's the
  910. 31:53Google Content Network. I can choose,
  911. 31:58"Hey, you know what? I only want to show
  912. 31:59on Google Ads, AdWords, when people type
  913. 32:02in mortgage refinance
  914. 32:04Orlando, Florida." More off. Right?
  915. 32:08Google Content Network, if I click a
  916. 32:10button
  917. 32:12that says, "Yes, if the site is about
  918. 32:14mortgage refinance Orlando, Florida,
  919. 32:16show my ad."
  920. 32:18If it's not, it doesn't show it. If I
  921. 32:20don't click this, I don't show on the
  922. 32:23ads, which means I will not show on your
  923. 32:25site, which means you will not get paid
  924. 32:28on the high-paying ads, right? It's like
  925. 32:31it never existed. It's not like you're
  926. 32:33not going to get something. It'll just
  927. 32:35show cheaper ads. Does that make sense?
  928. 32:37I hope it does. Type it as a question
  929. 32:39below. But what does this show? This
  930. 32:41shows, well, the ad pool has a lot of
  931. 32:43money. Ergo, I'm going to get paid more
  932. 32:46than, say, something like cat videos.
  933. 32:51Right? Apparently, the internet just
  934. 32:53loves cat videos. And this says 73 cents
  935. 32:55a click, which it's not even close.
  936. 32:57These numbers are not even close. You
  937. 32:59are not going to get anywhere near 73
  938. 33:01cents a click for cat videos. Also,
  939. 33:05understanding how YouTube works. Okay?
  940. 33:08So, you have Google AdWords, Google
  941. 33:10Content Network, and then you have
  942. 33:12YouTube,
  943. 33:13where they are paying based on ad views
  944. 33:16and pay on ad clicks. This is another
  945. 33:20one altogether, which is usually less.
  946. 33:22So, if it's Let's say the cat videos are
  947. 33:26I don't know, let's say 4 cents a click
  948. 33:28on Google. They're probably not even
  949. 33:29that high, but let's humor ourselves. Or
  950. 33:31let's say the example for the mortgage,
  951. 33:33$5.50 a click on Google AdWords. That is
  952. 33:35what Google is getting when someone goes
  953. 33:37to Google and types mortgage refinance
  954. 33:39Orlando, Florida. Okay? That's what
  955. 33:41they're getting. That's what Google
  956. 33:42gets. Now, what we get when they go to
  957. 33:45Google Content Network, they might be
  958. 33:47like, "Yeah, you know what? Showing on
  959. 33:48websites isn't as good as showing on
  960. 33:50Google. We'll pay a dollar a click or 50
  961. 33:54cents a click." Okay? And then you're
  962. 33:56getting a portion of whatever they're
  963. 33:57paying on the content network. Super
  964. 33:59important, but this does tell us
  965. 34:02there's more money there. And it's
  966. 34:04pretty obvious. Like, I think it's
  967. 34:06pretty common knowledge that like web
  968. 34:08hosting, credit cards, mortgages,
  969. 34:10expensive. Cat videos, funny dance, how
  970. 34:15to make ramen noodles, that's cheaper
  971. 34:18stuff. Understanding this is key. It's
  972. 34:20all about advertisers. Much like
  973. 34:23American Idol gets less per viewer on
  974. 34:26ads than something like
  975. 34:29a home improvement TV show. Why? Because
  976. 34:32Home Depot's like, "I'm all over that. I
  977. 34:34will pay more per viewer than Coca-Cola
  978. 34:37will pay for generic viewers." The more
  979. 34:40that we know about our market,
  980. 34:42the more money you can make. That's
  981. 34:45That's advertising 101. AdSense
  982. 34:47monetizes commercial curiosity. Now,
  983. 34:49content that wins without selling.
  984. 34:52Problem explanation. So, you can make a
  985. 34:54website that's like, "Here's how to
  986. 34:57fix your toilet." Or whatever. "Why does
  987. 35:00blank cost so much?" Okay, why does
  988. 35:01steak cost so much? That's a pretty big
  989. 35:04one. So, let let's take a look at this.
  990. 35:06Why does steak cost so much? I just got
  991. 35:08steak the other day. We're going to have
  992. 35:09it for lunch. It was 40 bucks
  993. 35:12for like one slab of meat. We got to put
  994. 35:15meat here cuz no one needs a confusion,
  995. 35:17right? 40 bucks for a slab of meat. And
  996. 35:20it's like, "Why is it so expensive?"
  997. 35:21People search for this stuff. If I had a
  998. 35:23good article about why it's expensive
  999. 35:25and how to save money on it, boom, there
1000. 35:27we go. Like recently, I've been watching
  1001. 35:29these videos where it's like, "Hey,
1002. 35:30butcher your own meat. Go get the big
1003. 35:32thing and chop it up." Or whatever. And
1004. 35:34we were going through and I was like,
1005. 35:35"Okay, that content actually does get a
1006. 35:36lot of views, which is pretty cool. And
1007. 35:39could I tie them to something else?"
  1008. 35:41Now,
1009. 35:42steak cost, okay, that ain't going to be
1010. 35:44nothing, right? Like, okay, hey, I go
1011. 35:46here and I'm like, "Okay, steak cost."
  1012. 35:49Steak
  1013. 35:51cost.
  1014. 35:52Right?
1015. 35:54Pretty much nothing. But if I was to do
  1016. 35:56something like grocery
  1017. 36:00credit card.
  1018. 36:01Now,
1019. 36:03this is going to trigger much more
1020. 36:04expensive stuff. And to me, I'm thinking
1021. 36:07even different. Like, okay, I could get
1022. 36:08them into something like this, but
1023. 36:10again, you're not going to get that.
1024. 36:11That's just showing us, "Hey, yeah, the
1025. 36:12market's got money." This is going to be
  1026. 36:14better, and the
1027. 36:17algorithm isn't going to know to take
1028. 36:19your steak content and put them to this
  1029. 36:22stuff. So, that's where affiliate
  1030. 36:24marketing comes in. That's where this,
  1031. 36:25in my opinion,
1032. 36:27would be an affiliate marketing play. I
1033. 36:29can get people all day long about
1034. 36:31irritated super high grocery cost,
1035. 36:34teach them how our grocery rewards
  1036. 36:36credit card
  1037. 36:37can work,
1038. 36:38and then boom, there we go.
1039. 36:40Things that are that are super helpful.
1040. 36:42Or why blank affects the price of
  1041. 36:44whatever.
  1042. 36:45Comparisons.
1043. 36:47This hosting versus this hosting.
  1044. 36:49AdSense versus Ezoic.
1045. 36:52This camera versus that camera.
1046. 36:54Really, really cool. Evergreen guides.
1047. 36:56You could do guides on, you know, how to
  1048. 36:57build a fence or whatever. Glossaries,
1049. 36:59tools and calculators. Tools and
1050. 37:01calculators are great. This is what I
1051. 37:02learned in my mortgage example, where
1052. 37:05they have an insane amount of time on
1053. 37:07page. Like, the people were staying on
1054. 37:09my site like 30 minutes, an hour. They
1055. 37:12were going The average person came to my
  1056. 37:15site and visited 10 different pages.
1057. 37:17Well, what does that mean? Well, let me
1058. 37:19show you what that means. The more
1059. 37:21people visit pages on your sites, so if
1060. 37:23I get one guy, he comes to my website. I
  1061. 37:27have a page and it's like, "Oh, hey,
  1062. 37:28here's this mortgage calculator. Have a
  1063. 37:30nice day." Great. I got one
  1064. 37:33set of ad impressions. Let's say I have
1065. 37:36three ads on my website or three ad
  1066. 37:37blocks. Okay? That's three impressions.
  1067. 37:42Great. Cool. I got three impressions.
1068. 37:46If I send him to other pages, now I'm up
1069. 37:50to six impressions. If I send him to an
  1070. 37:52average of 10 different pages, now I'm
  1071. 37:55up to
  1072. 37:5630 ad impressions.
1073. 37:58More chances to get clicks. And I
1074. 38:00actually found out that with affiliate
1075. 38:02ads and everything I had, I was at like
  1076. 38:04a 90%
1077. 38:06of the people who came to the site
1078. 38:08actually clicked on something that was
1079. 38:09either an affiliate offer or an ad or
1080. 38:11something like that, which is good. Now,
1081. 38:13again, this is unheard of. That's the
1082. 38:15only time I've ever done that. But
1083. 38:18understanding, you know, overall, like
  1084. 38:20if I have
1085. 38:2230 ad impressions for one person, and I
  1086. 38:25get 100 people a day, that's a lot more
  1087. 38:28ad impressions. There's a lot more
1088. 38:29people coming in. So, sites like I have
1089. 38:31cheeseburger or whatever that stupid
  1090. 38:33site is with
1091. 38:34memes and stuff. If you scroll and
1092. 38:37you're looking at memes, that's how it
1093. 38:38works. Why do you think Facebook wants
1094. 38:41you to be on Facebook all day, every
1095. 38:43day? Like, they don't even want you to
  1096. 38:44leave your phone. That's why they're
1097. 38:45making meta like on your face glasses.
1098. 38:49Cuz if you could look at meta all day,
1099. 38:51more ads, more ads, more ads. Zuckerberg
1100. 38:54gets another house. Zuckerberg gets
1101. 38:55this. More ads, more ads. Money, money,
1102. 38:58money, money, money. That's the name of
1103. 38:59the game, and I hope you like my
1104. 39:00drawing. The drawing and the artwork is
1105. 39:03free. I worked really hard on it for
  1106. 39:05you.
1107. 39:05But understanding this, it is a name of
1108. 39:07the game of getting more people to see
1109. 39:09ads. Always do it ethically. Always do
1110. 39:11it good. In my opinion, I could never
1111. 39:14run a company like Facebook because it
  1112. 39:16is ethically against what I believe. I
1113. 39:18don't want people just to be glued to my
1114. 39:20website all day, every day.
1115. 39:22I want them to take a break. I want them
1116. 39:23to know that there's life outside the
  1117. 39:25internet. So, for me, I wouldn't do
1118. 39:27that. However, having people look at a
1119. 39:29couple mortgage calculators to help them
1120. 39:31out with really good stuff, there you
1121. 39:33go. This is where we get into the
  1122. 39:35helpful resources bin, where we're
1123. 39:37getting traffic gravity. Much like we
1124. 39:39have lead magnets to get people to opt
1125. 39:41in, we can create content that's going
1126. 39:43to help. Like maybe I have a bunch of
1127. 39:45prompts. Okay, cool. Can I turn those
  1128. 39:47prompts into a tool?
1129. 39:49Can I make an AI tool that has ads on
  1130. 39:51it? I probably could. Can I make a
  1131. 39:53timeline, an estimator, a cost
  1132. 39:55calculator, eligibility checkers,
  1133. 39:57glossaries, process explainers, context
1134. 39:59and comparison? The more content I make
1135. 40:01that people actually want to consume.
1136. 40:03This is why AdSense wants good honest
1137. 40:07good content people actually want. This
1138. 40:10is the key. You learn this, it's
1139. 40:12actually not that hard to do. Just think
1140. 40:13about what the user wants, think about
1141. 40:15how you can help them, put it in front
1142. 40:17of them, and boom, there we go. Super
1143. 40:20super important because we can create
1144. 40:23all this, and I have tools that help you
1145. 40:24do this over at AI Profit Scoop. The key
1146. 40:27to doing this is the fact that they rank
1147. 40:28long-term. They multiply the amount of
1148. 40:31people who are going to look at other
1149. 40:32pages on your site, which signals to
  1150. 40:34Google, "Hey, this site's actually
  1151. 40:36worthwhile." It'll get backlinks. It'll
1152. 40:39get all this other stuff. This is how
1153. 40:40you build it up. Right? A lot of people
1154. 40:41have this crazy misconception about what
1155. 40:44helpful content is, but at the end of
1156. 40:46the day, helpful content is in the eye
1157. 40:49of the beholder. What I think is
  1158. 40:51helpful. Like to me, I don't think
1159. 40:53Facebook really is helpful. Not to me. I
  1160. 40:56mean, that's my own opinion. But I'm
  1161. 40:59wrong.
1162. 41:01How am I wrong? Because billions of you
1163. 41:03people use it and say it is helpful.
1164. 41:06And in some ways it is helpful for me,
  1165. 41:07but
  1166. 41:08it it's a gray area. So, starting to
  1167. 41:10understand that's important because like
1168. 41:13we think "Oh, it's not helpful to me,
  1169. 41:15therefore I wouldn't want it." Like to
1170. 41:17me, making a video on AdSense, this is
1171. 41:19very basic stuff for me. I've been doing
  1172. 41:21it for years.
1173. 41:22But to a lot of people, you guys are
1174. 41:23like, "Wow, this is helpful. No one ever
1175. 41:24explains it like this. No one ever walks
  1176. 41:26through it like this."
1177. 41:28So, what I might not consider value
1178. 41:31might be value to other people
  1179. 41:33and make money.
1180. 41:34Does that make sense? Let me know as a
1181. 41:36comment below. Internal linking, which
  1182. 41:38is revenue engineering, where we're
1183. 41:39going to go through and try to get your
1184. 41:41visitors to look at multiple pages. You
1185. 41:43can do this with inline glossary links.
1186. 41:45Maybe they're looking at how to make
1187. 41:47money online and it says AdSense. They
1188. 41:48click that, they go to the page about
1189. 41:49AdSense. They click this, they go to the
1190. 41:51page about mortgages. Whatever it is.
1191. 41:53You can have related cost sections. "Oh,
1192. 41:55you're looking to build a new kitchen.
1193. 41:58Okay, well, first you need to budget
1194. 42:00this, this, this, and this." Those all
1195. 42:02lead to different pages, and the
  1196. 42:03algorithm will know like, "Oh, they're
1197. 42:05on this page. Let's show ads for what
1198. 42:07this is about." Super cool. You can also
1199. 42:09have tool embeds, contextual next topic
  1200. 42:11links. And again, it's super important.
1201. 42:14Do not ever entice people to click.
1202. 42:17Don't ever put arrows at your ads. Don't
1203. 42:20tell them to click the ads. None of that
1204. 42:22stuff. You always want to keep it up
1205. 42:24front and let the ad do the work for
1206. 42:27itself. Like the ad did the algorithm's
1207. 42:29going to figure out what people click
  1208. 42:30on. It's going to maximize it. Don't
1209. 42:33help it. That'll stop you from getting
  1210. 42:35paid.
1211. 42:36The key here is the same visitor can
1212. 42:38equal more impressions, which equals
1213. 42:40more views on ads. Now, the traffic and
1214. 42:43time multiplication, when we look at
1215. 42:45page views per session, how many people
1216. 42:48go to your website, how many pages do
1217. 42:49they visit on that website, how long are
  1218. 42:51they there?
1219. 42:53Yeah, how long do they scroll? Different
1220. 42:55things like that. What we want to do is
1221. 42:56think about how we can chunk content
1222. 42:58visually, have tables, boxes, and
  1223. 43:00visuals, expand sections, curiosity
1224. 43:02loops, and on and on we go. We need to
1225. 43:05slow our visitor down. Where a lot of
1226. 43:06people think the key is like, "Just give
1227. 43:09me what I want." Like a lot of people
  1228. 43:10come here and they're like, "Wow, a
  1229. 43:1150-minute, hour-long video on AdSense.
1230. 43:13Bro, just tell me how to make money with
  1231. 43:15it." I'm like, "Well, I am."
  1232. 43:17Slow down.
  1233. 43:18It takes a while. Rome wasn't built in a
1234. 43:20day. We need to understand the nuances.
1235. 43:23Slow the people down because you're paid
1236. 43:25for attention. Now, that's not to say
  1237. 43:27deliberately make
  1238. 43:28clickbait lame content. That won't work.
1239. 43:31That's against the TOS. But I can make
1240. 43:34things that are like, "Oh,
1241. 43:35let's stop trying to rush to an answer
1242. 43:38and think about it as the process, the
1243. 43:40experience. What is the experience on
  1244. 43:43your website?
1245. 43:44What is it like for someone? Is it just,
  1246. 43:46"Oh, here's the answer."
1247. 43:48That's what a lot of people are trying
1248. 43:48to do. Whereas with me, I'm like, "Okay,
1249. 43:51here's the answer you think you need.
1250. 43:53Here's the answer you actually need."
1251. 43:55Like, let's face it. You want to lose
1252. 43:56weight, exercise, eat right. Boom. Mic
1253. 44:00drop. Okay, is that really all you need?
  1254. 44:03No, there's a lot more to it. And that's
  1255. 44:06what we're going to understand with a
1256. 44:07lot of niches is there's a lot more to
1257. 44:08it. Where a lot of people are are
  1258. 44:10thinking, "Okay, there's this one
  1259. 44:11answer."
1260. 44:12It's not exactly what people want. And
  1261. 44:15you know, we're seeing that with a lot
1262. 44:17of what's going on with Google having AI
1263. 44:20overviews, ads in overviews, and things
1264. 44:22like that. Where it's like, "Okay, there
1265. 44:23are some things that are one answer."
  1266. 44:26And that's like 30% of Google searches
1267. 44:28or less. Actually, probably quite a bit
1268. 44:31less. Whereas we need to go through and
  1269. 44:33look at like, "Okay,
1270. 44:34what are the things that aren't just
1271. 44:37one-and-done answers?" Like, you know,
1272. 44:38you got to think about why people Google
  1273. 44:40things. Like if someone's like, you
  1274. 44:42know, "Shaq shoe size."
  1275. 44:45That's a bunch of people having a bet.
  1276. 44:46They're sitting around watching
  1277. 44:47basketball. They're like, "Bro, that
1278. 44:49guy's feet were like 10 ft long." And
  1279. 44:51the other guy's like, "Nah, bro. I think
1280. 44:53they're like two." And they Google it.
1281. 44:55Obviously, the intent there is like guy
  1282. 44:57wears a size 26, which isn't even
1283. 44:59possible. And uh maybe he gets clown
1284. 45:02shoes or something. But at any rate,
1285. 45:04you look at that and you're like, "Okay,
1286. 45:05we have to understand that's not the
1287. 45:07traffic we want." Unless we can monetize
1288. 45:10it somehow, which sometimes there are
1289. 45:12ways for that one. I'd be out. But at
1290. 45:14any rate, starting look at this and look
1291. 45:16at the traffic multiplication machine,
1292. 45:18you want to think about what your
1293. 45:19audience wants and branch out. Starting
1294. 45:21point could be like, "Okay, what's the
1295. 45:24best basketball shoe for jumping?" And
1296. 45:27then you could put them over to like,
  1297. 45:28"Here's how to jump higher." That's
1298. 45:29natural. That works. And then you could
1299. 45:31do, "How to do a better layup? How to
1300. 45:33play basketball better? How to get in
1301. 45:35the NBA? How to get a scholarship?"
1302. 45:38Thinking about all these things, this is
1303. 45:39what you want to think about
1304. 45:41when you get one visitor into multiple
1305. 45:43pages and think about it like a
1306. 45:45business. Your site should be a business
1307. 45:47for your specific niche. Narrow down.
1308. 45:50Stop trying to make content about
  1309. 45:52everything. Right? Like
1310. 45:55what I do in my business is you need to
1311. 45:56understand that you need to earn the
  1312. 45:58right to be vague.
1313. 46:00Like right now, you do if you don't have
  1314. 46:02content and you don't have a following,
1315. 46:04you do not have the right or the
  1316. 46:06privilege to be vague. Okay? You're
  1317. 46:09like, "Oh, well, Marcus, you don't
1318. 46:10understand, bro. Like Mr. Beast has
1319. 46:12vague videos about trains going fast."
1320. 46:16Okay, well, he earned the right.
1321. 46:18How did he earn the right? He got a
1322. 46:20following first by making a video where
1323. 46:22he did a challenge or something like
1324. 46:24that. He earned the right to be vague.
1325. 46:28Gary V, Marcus, he talks about success.
1326. 46:30Okay, but in the beginning he talked
1327. 46:32about different types of wine.
1328. 46:34He earned the right to be vague. And
1329. 46:37maybe one day you don't want to be
  1330. 46:38vague. Maybe you're like, "Hey, I just
1331. 46:40want to make some good money in my small
1332. 46:42little niche about how to fly kites or
1333. 46:44whatever, or drones, or whatever it is."
1334. 46:47Niches are literally everywhere. There
1335. 46:49are people making money with like
1336. 46:51trading cards and all kinds of crazy
1337. 46:53stuff. When you understand that, you
1338. 46:56pick your lane and you stick to it and
1339. 46:58you keep on it and you realize that your
1340. 47:00niche goes far deeper than you probably
1341. 47:03ever imagined. And that's where the real
1342. 47:05money is, is understanding people that
1343. 47:08like certain things get obsessed with
  1344. 47:10them. Right? You're like, "Yeah, why
1345. 47:11would someone pay a million dollars for
1346. 47:13a Michael Jordan card?" Because they are
1347. 47:15obsessed with that stuff. They read
1348. 47:17about it. They look at different cards.
1349. 47:18They know, "Oh, it's in this packaging
  1350. 47:20and it's this way."
  1351. 47:21That's where the money's at. And that's
1352. 47:23what we need to understand is everything
1353. 47:25can be broken down and stick to a really
1354. 47:29good niche. Having the right niche is
  1355. 47:3199%
1356. 47:32of making money with AdSense, YouTube,
1357. 47:35blogging, everything. Having the right
1358. 47:38niche is everything. We talk about that.
  1359. 47:39I'll put a
1360. 47:40link in the description that goes into
1361. 47:41niche finding. Next up, ad placement
1362. 47:44types that actually pay. Understanding
  1363. 47:46where they're at, always looking at
  1364. 47:47their terms and conditions.
  1365. 47:51Always following the rules.
1366. 47:53One strong above the fold unit. What is
1367. 47:55above the fold? Above the fold means you
  1368. 47:58go to a website
1369. 47:59and before you scroll. So, if I scroll,
1370. 48:02I'm now below the fold. Above,
1371. 48:05below. So, the fold is literally right
  1372. 48:07here.
1373. 48:09Okay? So, you would want your ad. If you
1374. 48:11were on this site, I would want my ad
  1375. 48:14here.
1376. 48:15This would be the best spot for the ad.
1377. 48:17It's right by the search box. They're
  1378. 48:18going to see it.
  1379. 48:20There you go. Obviously,
  1380. 48:22do not
  1381. 48:23bait and switch.
1382. 48:25Do not make your ads not look like ads.
1383. 48:27Don't do anything funny. What I would do
  1384. 48:30with this example,
1385. 48:31I would have an ad box either under the
1386. 48:33search box or maybe up here.
1387. 48:36Up here would be a good spot. All right?
  1388. 48:38Pretty cool. It'll get some clicks.
1389. 48:40It'll do well. Also, I would have an ad
1390. 48:43here. Put an ad box here.
1391. 48:45That would look really good as well cuz
  1392. 48:47then you're like, "Grocery, cool, great.
1393. 48:49Boom. Add." That would be a great spot
1394. 48:50for an ad. Or even over here cuz most
1395. 48:53people are reading left to right, which
1396. 48:55would mean an ad here would get much
1397. 48:57good placement, much better views. Um
1398. 49:00after headers, after paragraphs, after
1399. 49:02tables or lists, or on mobile you can do
1400. 49:05I don't know how the sticky ones work.
1401. 49:07Look at the terms and conditions. Go
1402. 49:08through that. The layout truth, and this
1403. 49:11I have people argue with me all the
1404. 49:12time. Every year for the last 26 years,
1405. 49:16people have told me that my websites
  1406. 49:18look like they're from 1999.
1407. 49:20Maybe because my web skills are still
1408. 49:23back in the old days, but you know what?
1409. 49:25They work. When someone tells me my
1410. 49:27website is ugly, it still brings in
1411. 49:29money whether you think it's pretty or
1412. 49:30not. The truth is this is how it works.
1413. 49:34I was just talking to someone who uh
1414. 49:36works here building sites for us
1415. 49:38and we were talking about the difference
  1416. 49:39between a blue link or a blue a button
1417. 49:42and a green button. And I'm like, if you
1418. 49:44make it green or red, you'll get more
1419. 49:46clicks. You will make more money.
  1420. 49:48And they're like, well, I want it to
  1421. 49:49look pretty. I'm like, that's fine. I'm
1422. 49:51here to make money. You can have a
1423. 49:52pretty button. I'm going to have the
  1424. 49:54money button cuz that's what I'm after.
1425. 49:56And when you start to understand, okay,
1426. 49:57here's the square units, here's the blue
  1427. 49:59links, here's the white backgrounds,
1428. 50:00here's clean ads that feel informational
1429. 50:03are going to work. What you don't want
1430. 50:04is clutter, dark spammy layouts,
  1431. 50:06back-to-back ads, aggressive density.
1432. 50:08Don't do this. It can make you not get
1433. 50:10paid. People click what feels like help,
1434. 50:13not like ads. We want to have these
1435. 50:15within our content, so it looks good.
1436. 50:18Obviously disclose their ads, which is
  1437. 50:20cool. That's another thing that's a
1438. 50:21benefit of AdSense is the fact that that
1439. 50:24ads by Google comes up with their
1440. 50:26information and their disclosures and
  1441. 50:28everything like that.
1442. 50:30Going through, the winner is always
1443. 50:32square boxes with blue links. Like,
1444. 50:34people are like, "Oh, I want a big long
1445. 50:36banner." One of the worst ones for
  1446. 50:38click-through rates ever.
1447. 50:39The small boxes, the little square ones,
1448. 50:42work way better. Very important. So, you
1449. 50:45want it to blend with your content,
1450. 50:46obviously following the terms and
1451. 50:48conditions. You don't want it to look
1452. 50:49exactly like content. Right? Some ads
1453. 50:51are are like that and
1454. 50:54you know, that that is in their terms
1455. 50:55and conditions. Whether you see it or
  1456. 50:57not, doesn't matter. Their terms say
1457. 50:58don't do that. We want it to feel
1458. 51:00informational and we don't want it to
  1459. 51:02scream, "Hey, here's an ad." Right?
1460. 51:04That's why their little links where it's
1461. 51:06like a little box with four options. Oh,
1462. 51:09hey, click here for this, click here for
1463. 51:10that, click here for this. That's why
1464. 51:12those work really, really, really good.
1465. 51:14And we have some some layout ideas over
  1466. 51:16at aiprofitscoop.com. AdSense plus
1467. 51:18affiliates plus email, this is where I
1468. 51:21want to be. I want to make informational
1469. 51:23content, have AdSense on it. I want to
1470. 51:25have little boxes getting them to guides
1471. 51:27and tools where we could have AdSense
1472. 51:29and maybe an opt-in. Get them to
  1473. 51:30decision pages. If they've clicked and
1474. 51:32they're like, "I want to buy web
1475. 51:33hosting," I'm going to sell them web
1476. 51:35hosting. I'm not going to mess around
1477. 51:36with the ads or opt-ins or whatever.
1478. 51:38Going through and having our list
  1479. 51:40building is key. Now,
1480. 51:42very important, follow these. Do not put
1481. 51:45AdSense on your deep funnel pages. You
1482. 51:49cannot put AdSense on a thank you page,
  1483. 51:51a checkout flow, a hard affiliate
  1484. 51:54landing page, email click-through rate.
1485. 51:57Do not do this. AdSense is a content
  1486. 52:00monetizer, not a funnel hijacker. And
1487. 52:03they in their terms and conditions, they
1488. 52:05don't like this stuff. Very important.
1489. 52:07Always follow your terms and conditions
1490. 52:09because at the end of the day, they're
1491. 52:11paying your check. You got to do what
1492. 52:12they want. If you don't want to follow
1493. 52:14their rules, then you don't use them.
  1494. 52:16Like, that's plain and simple because
1495. 52:18you're just kind of playing with fire if
1496. 52:19you're not. AdSense plus list building,
1497. 52:22I could do on my content. So, what I
  1498. 52:24would do
1499. 52:25is this is what I would do. I would pick
  1500. 52:27a niche. Okay, let's say I'm going into
  1501. 52:29like I have a site about money terms.
1502. 52:32And it's like, okay, you know, how does
1503. 52:34this work? How does that work? All these
1504. 52:36different terms about finance and stuff
  1505. 52:38like that. What I would do
1506. 52:40is I would use WordPress. Google loves
  1507. 52:42WordPress. I would have my WordPress
  1508. 52:44like this. I would use posts
  1509. 52:48as
  1510. 52:49content.
  1511. 52:50So, I'd have posts about
1512. 52:52how to refinance, what does this term
1513. 52:54mean, what is a payoff amount, all of
1514. 52:57this stuff. Have all these posts. Okay?
1515. 53:00On all these posts, I would have my
  1516. 53:02AdSense. Excellent. I would also have a
  1517. 53:04button saying,
  1518. 53:06"Get my entire
1519. 53:08500-word guide about money or whatever."
1520. 53:11Right? Free guide, some kind of free
1521. 53:13guide. That free guide would lead to a
  1522. 53:16page
1523. 53:17on my WordPress that gets them to opt
1524. 53:20in. Would I have AdSense on that page?
  1525. 53:21No. I would not. Why? Cuz they didn't
1526. 53:24click it over here. I want this page to
1527. 53:26just get them to opt in. Okay? And then
1528. 53:29when they opt in, I have my thank you
1529. 53:31page. Hi, thank you for subscribing.
1530. 53:32Your free book is on its way. Do I put
1531. 53:34AdSense on that? No, I do not. I do not
1532. 53:37not not. Why? Because they do not allow
1533. 53:41it. What am I going to put on that? I'm
1534. 53:42going to put my best offer. So, like if
1535. 53:45I have something to sell them, boom, I'm
1536. 53:47going to put that right there on the
1537. 53:48thank you page. Like, click here to get
  1538. 53:49my
1539. 53:50full course or whatever. Okay?
1540. 53:53AdSense and list building, this is what
1541. 53:54I would want to do. No gating, no bait,
1542. 53:56no pressure. Just like I do here. Here
  1543. 53:58on my YouTube, I teach everything I know
  1544. 54:00about marketing. There's really nothing
  1545. 54:02hidden.
1546. 54:03But if you want to go through and learn
1547. 54:05it in sequence and ask me questions and
1548. 54:07get the tools that I spent a bunch of
1549. 54:09money on to build, then you could go to
1550. 54:12aiprofitscoop.com and join and get help.
1551. 54:14But I do teach everything here. Why? Cuz
1552. 54:17I get paid with all kinds of other
  1553. 54:18stuff. So, understanding that's key.
1554. 54:20When we look at the affiliate dude
1555. 54:22economics, we want to treat our content
1556. 54:24like a skew. We have our topic, our
  1557. 54:26traffic,
  1558. 54:28revenue per mill,
1559. 54:29cost and payback. Tracking RPM by page
1560. 54:32type is where you're going to look at
1561. 54:34the effective EPC. This is important.
1562. 54:37Not a lot of people talk about this, but
1563. 54:38it's always boilable. If you have a
  1564. 54:42page, let's say I have a page or a post.
  1565. 54:44So, here's our post
1566. 54:46and we have some ads on it and we have
1567. 54:48some ads down here and we have some ads
  1568. 54:50up here.
  1569. 54:51I get 1,000 people
1570. 54:54to go to this page.
1571. 54:56Okay, how much do the ads make? Well, if
1572. 54:58I get $30, okay, this is hypothetical.
1573. 55:02Most people make nothing. But if I have
1574. 55:03$30, then I would look at what am I
1575. 55:06getting per person. Well, that would be
  1576. 55:09what? 3 cents a person, I think, if my
  1577. 55:11math is correct. Let's Let's just
  1578. 55:13double-check the math because it's early
1579. 55:15in the morning. Actually, it's not, but
  1580. 55:17kind of, right? So, 30,
  1581. 55:19it'll do 1,000 over 30.
1582. 55:25There, what would that be? 30 over
  1583. 55:261,000? Something like that. Yeah, 30
  1584. 55:28over 1,000. $30
  1585. 55:30over 1,000. So, yeah, that would be 3
  1586. 55:33cents per
1587. 55:35person. 3 cents per view. Now, if they
  1588. 55:37go to 10 pages
  1589. 55:40and I still make $30, now I'm at like
  1590. 55:43point 3 cents per click.
1591. 55:47All right? But it or if it goes up, then
1592. 55:49you you look at that. But there's an
1593. 55:50amount per mill, which is per thousand,
1594. 55:53which is the basic way. Now, if I throw
1595. 55:56an affiliate link on that and that
  1596. 55:57affiliate may makes another $70, now I'm
  1597. 56:00at 100. Now I'm getting 10 cents per
1598. 56:02visitor. This is where it all starts to
1599. 56:04to dial in. And that's why, you know,
1600. 56:07treating this like a business and making
1601. 56:08good stuff is key. AdSense is a floor
  1602. 56:10revenue system. It converts non-paying
1603. 56:14non-buying intent into cash, pays you
1604. 56:16while people are just learning, um funds
1605. 56:18the content that later feeds affiliate
1606. 56:20offers, leads, tools, bigger markets. No
1607. 56:22sales, no pitching, no convincing. You
1608. 56:24just show them ads and get paid. Helpful
1609. 56:26content plus intent plus time equals
  1610. 56:29money. It's quiet. It's boring. It's
  1611. 56:32scalable.
1612. 56:33The money I've made with AdSense was not
1613. 56:35exciting. No bells rang. No people came
1614. 56:38in here with trombones. I just made
1615. 56:40money. All right? That's it. You just
1616. 56:42make the content and you get paid. Do a
1617. 56:43good job, it'll grow and build. Very,
1618. 56:46very important. Now, some major AdSense
1619. 56:49alternatives if you don't want to use
1620. 56:50AdSense or whatever reason, some will
1621. 56:53pay more. Like if Mediavine has a lot of
  1622. 56:55mortgage advertisers, I might make more
1623. 56:58than AdSense. It just depends. Now,
1624. 57:00Google AdSense is good for content
1625. 57:01sites. Traffic requirement is none. So,
  1626. 57:04like whereas Mediavine needs 50,000 in
  1627. 57:07sessions a month,
1628. 57:09you might not have that right now. When
1629. 57:10you do get up to that, then you can get
1630. 57:12that. Uh ad types, display, text,
1631. 57:14in-article, and YouTube. RPM potential
  1632. 57:17is medium. Beginner-friendly, yes. Good
1633. 57:19starting point. A lot of people started
1634. 57:21out with AdSense and then scaled to
1635. 57:22other things. Ezoic is good for growing
  1636. 57:24sites, 10K minimum. Uh display and
1637. 57:27native. Native ads are key because if
1638. 57:31you have junk traffic or traffic that's
1639. 57:34about say gossip, like celebrity gossip
1640. 57:36or whatever, native ads are probably
1641. 57:39going to win nine times out of 10
1642. 57:41because native ads know how to get the
  1643. 57:42clicks.
  1644. 57:43Google doesn't have a lot of native ads,
1645. 57:46um but Ezoic and stuff, they do. Like
1646. 57:48Raptive, Mediavine, they have a lot of
1647. 57:50native ads and those will get a high
  1648. 57:52click-through rate. That's why medium to
1649. 57:54high on the earnings. Powerful, but
  1650. 57:56requires tuning.
1651. 57:57Excellent RPMs on Mediavine. And then on
1652. 58:00and on we go. There's a lot of others
1653. 58:01that are here. Again, it has to do with
1654. 58:04what fits your market. AdSense funds all
1655. 58:07the other stuff. So, like I can run a
  1656. 58:09site,
1657. 58:10put AdSense on it, start getting some
1658. 58:12kind of revenue, and then I can watch my
1659. 58:14traffic and learn about what else would
1660. 58:16help them. Very, very important. AdSense
1661. 58:19is the foundation floor. It monetizes
  1662. 58:21the non-buyers. Then I can go through
1663. 58:23and get other people to click on the
1664. 58:24other thing that really, really, really,
1665. 58:26really helps. So, if you want to learn
1666. 58:28more about this, again, AdSense can work
1667. 58:30really well. We need to think about
1668. 58:32where we're going to place it and we
1669. 58:33need to watch our numbers. Get some
1670. 58:35content, get our niche, get our traffic.
1671. 58:37Always follow the terms and conditions.
1672. 58:39Do not go out there and do anything
1673. 58:41funny. Don't try to get people to click
  1674. 58:43where they wouldn't. Let the ad
1675. 58:45naturally bring people to it and it'll
1676. 58:48actually do better because at the end of
  1677. 58:50the day, advertisers don't want junk
1678. 58:52traffic and they're going to know. Like
  1679. 58:54if your traffic ain't converting,
1680. 58:55they're going to be like, "Yeah, I'm not
1681. 58:56going to run this ad anymore." Or I'm
1682. 58:58going to block this website from the
  1683. 58:59advertisement. Understanding that is
  1684. 59:01absolutely key because
1685. 59:05that's what makes this whole world work
1686. 59:07is ads. Ads, ads. Getting that ad dollar
1687. 59:11is what people are spending on.
1688. 59:13And if we can make good content, it's
1689. 59:15not super difficult to do. You just need
1690. 59:17to pick a lane, stick with it, and build
1691. 59:20your content out, figure out where
1692. 59:21you're going to put affiliate offers,
1693. 59:22figure out where AdSense is going to
1694. 59:23play, and then go from there. So, smash
1695. 59:26the like button if you enjoyed this
1696. 59:28video, like I know you did. Check out
1697. 59:30the videos in the description. We go
1698. 59:31even into ads, niche finding, affiliate
  1699. 59:34marketing, and everything. But, I think
1700. 59:35this is something that everyone should
1701. 59:37at least use on some kind of content
1702. 59:40site to test out. AdSense is a great
1703. 59:42earner, especially with YouTube stuff.
1704. 59:44It It can do really, really, really well
1705. 59:46with those faceless niches and stuff
1706. 59:48like that. But, again, always follow the
  1707. 59:50rules, make good content,
1708. 59:52and watch my videos, cuz we teach a lot
1709. 59:55of this stuff. Smash the like button.
1710. 59:56Thanks for watching. Check out the
1711. 59:57videos in the description, and I'll see
1712. 59:59you in the next training.
