0:12for a girl who was healed and then
0:14signed his in South Africa put the
0:16plague that was killing thousands of
0:17native Africans in his hand they put it
0:19under a microscope and they watched the
0:21germ die this is dr. John G Lake his
0:24great ministry and his great life I am
0:27Robert Cernan and this is God's generals

0:43dr. John G Lake is known for a great
0:46healing ministry but in the beginning of
0:47his life he writes that all his memories
0:50were or sad memories he writes that he
0:53remembers doctors and nurses and caskets
0:55and funerals and graveyards because many
0:58of his brothers and sisters died and he
1:01remembers Maine in his childhood going
1:04to these type of set of dense and so
1:05sickness was a part of his life when he
1:08finally got married his wife had gotten
1:11sick and his other brothers and sisters
1:12were getting sick so it seemed like
1:14there was this curse on the family that
1:16everybody was getting sick and dying and
1:18it concerns him even though in his life
1:20he tried to go to a Methodist training
1:22school and they didn't teach you much
1:24about healing obviously because his
1:26family kept staying sick and getting
1:28worse but he heard about a man named
1:30John Alexander Dowie that had built a
1:32city 40 miles north of Chicago named
1:34Zion and so he sent a telegram to dr.
1:37Dow he saying here's my wife's condition
1:39here's what my experience has been would
1:42you please pray could you do something
1:44about it and dr. Dow he had on his desk
1:47a prayer a date machine and it's a
1:49machine that when he got a request by
1:51letter or by telegram he would pray for
1:54it and he would stick to the letter that
1:56that came to him and then hit it I'm
1:58gonna have the date on it and send him
1:59back to the person saying at this date
2:01and this time I prayed well he received
2:04lake's request for prayer for his wife
2:06and he prayed for him like he did all
2:08the other thousands of requests and he
2:10hit the Machine and said the date back
2:11in the letter said or the telegram said
2:13I prayed she'll live and not die and
2:16that was it and she lived and she did
2:18not die so that was the first time in
2:21doctor Lakes life that something
2:23supernatural had happened and so when
2:26this begin to be talked about around the
2:27town that mrs. Lake was healed and up
2:30and normal and taking care of the family
2:32and cooking and the kids and all the
2:33things they begin to bring their sick
2:35members of their families and friends to
2:37janji Lakes house and and ask him can
2:39you fix my family well they didn't know
2:41anything about healing so because of
2:44that pressure of all those friends and
2:46families in the neighborhood he packed
2:48up his bags and he's packed up his
2:49family and he moved to Zion Illinois to
2:53learn from dr. die
2:54what they
2:55healing ministry was and how he could be
2:57a part of God's healing plans for the
2:59nations when he got there it was the
3:01latter part of Daly's life and he got a
3:03house enzyme because of this time it was
3:05part about twenty thousand citizens in
3:07Zion a little interesting fact about who
3:10his neighbors were he lived across the
3:12street from FF Bosworth the man that
3:15would be known to write the book called
3:16Christ the healer have huge healing
3:18campaigns that I write him out on one of
3:20my other general books that we'll talk
3:21about a different time but they were
3:23neighbors in Dallas City and late got
3:26there became a respected member of the
3:28community and he became a member of the
3:30board of the church under dr. Dow II and
3:32this is about the time when diary begin
3:35to think that he was Elijah and so John
3:37J like knew that wasn't right but he had
3:39something good about himself he knew how
3:42to separate the good from the bad so
3:44many of the times people and somebody
3:46makes a mistake we throw everything out
3:48and that's a mistake in maturity does
3:51not pick what's right and pick what's
3:53wrong immaturity says I don't believe in
3:56throws it out maturity says this is good
3:58and this is bad so Lake had enough
4:00maturity as a man and as a Christian to
4:03say John G Lake is gonna take dollars
4:05good stuff and gonna leave Daly's bad
4:08stuff behind and so eventually dr. Dow
4:10II died and he left Zion and moved to
4:12Chicago and he went back into business
4:14now um Lakes life he was a very good
4:18businessman he built a newspaper now he
4:20goes back to Chicago after the collapse
4:21of Zion and Dali's death and begins to
4:24make him very profitable living fifty
4:26thousand dollars a year now back in the
4:28early 1900's fifty thousand dollars a
4:31year was a lot of money and so that's
4:33what he began to do but then he heard
4:36about a happening in Los Angeles at
4:39Azusa Street
4:40so Bosworth and late get on a train and
4:43they go to LA to see this phenomena of
4:46Pentecost the Bible days are here again
4:49threat of Christianity had returned
4:51these were the the words that were using
4:53to describe us of the street there the
4:55faith of the Apostles they were speaking
4:57in tongues and prophesied and healing
4:59and deliver and sell Dow he believed in
5:01healing but he didn't believe in the
5:03Holy Spirit map because it was speaking
5:05in tongues he thought that was kind of
5:06too far but you know take a good
5:08the bad so they went out there and they
5:11found a little black man named William J
5:13Seymour the first pastor of the modern
5:15Pentecostal movement and John G Lake
5:18said William Seymour that he had the
5:19strangest vocabulary but had the
5:21greatest sense of the presence of God
5:23that he fed on anybody up to that time
5:25in his life why he was out there they
5:27were able to experience the badness of
5:29the Holy Spirit and became a part of the
5:31early Pentecostal movement when that had
5:33all come to an end of their visit they
5:35came back to Chicago and a little while
5:39goes by and God visits Lake and God
5:41tells him to go to South Africa
5:43Pentecost woman had just been born and
5:45John G Lake was gonna be the first one
5:47to enter the African field with billing
5:50a Pentecostal denomination in some ever
5:52called the Apostolic face how he got
5:54there is a great story
5:56he had no context he just received a
5:59vision and in this vision the Lord spoke
6:01to him to go to South Africa all he had
6:04was his wife and his children and one
6:06other ministry family was gonna go with
6:07him so he got in the mail the money that
6:10he needed to go to buy the tickets on
6:12the boat to go to South Africa there was
6:14no jets in those days there was just the
6:16old ocean liners so he would go through
6:18Great Britain and the non down into
6:20Africa and into South Africa there was a
6:23lady in South Africa a well-to-do family
6:25one morning she woke up and the Lord
6:28said to her go to the port barons Inn in
6:30South Africa bleep was Durban and there
6:33will be a missionary family with the
6:35right amount of children and they'll be
6:37from America and year to give them this
6:39house she had several homes and so she
6:41packed up her little bags and she got in
6:44a horse and carriage and she headed down
6:46to the port there in South Africa and
6:49she waited for the right boat to come
6:51off she didn't know you know when it was
6:53supposed to come and the Lord told her
6:54to go so she got there and she found
6:57that the name of the boat she had in her
6:58spirit was there and she got there the
7:00the dock and waited for the people to
7:02come off and she kept asking the
7:04families are you a missionary how many
7:06children do you have
7:07and they didn't meet the criteria you're
7:08not the ones you can't push it on
7:10through and just she come to John G Lake
7:12she asked are you a missionary from
7:14America he goes yes I am
7:16how many children yet
7:18announced how many children he had
7:19you're the one come with me I have a
7:21house for you and your family for you to
7:23start your minister here God had made a
7:25way for jeonyul egg to come with a wife
7:28and young children all the way to South
7:31Africa got off the boat and he did not
7:33know in the natural where they were
7:35gonna sleep who they were gonna meet of
7:37what did he all he had was the word of
7:39the Lord now in the early days of
7:41Pentecost and the early days of this
7:44kind of missionary fervor this is what
7:45they did they didn't have connection
7:48they didn't have people that they knew a
7:49lot of them just felt God called me to
7:51China God called me to South America to
7:54Africa someplace and they went in
7:56Pentecost when they believed they spoke
7:59in tongues they also believed God would
8:00give them a language of some tribe or
8:03some people in the earth which meant
8:05they were called to go there so it
8:07sounded African they buy ticket and go
8:09to Africa get off the boat and start
8:10praying in tongues and if someone said
8:12something back to them then they realize
8:14connect should have been made and then
8:15follow that person to their tribe and
8:16start their mission work that's how
8:18early Pentecostals went around the world
8:20now us today we get all nervous we get
8:23on well we can't do that we don't know
8:24anybody and we don't believe that but
8:26this is how it worked and if God did it
8:29then he can do it again today we have
8:31enough guts to go and believe and see
8:33what happens
8:34so Lake Metis his his salvation of his
8:37house the lady was theirs and I've got
8:38you a house it was a nice big Victorian
8:41house enough for the children enough for
8:43the family enough for the other family
8:45to stay with him for a while and they
8:46found their own home and so Lake landed
8:49with for the first step of provision
8:51when he got there he began to preach and
8:53begin to just do the ministry as he knew
8:55to do and it began to work because
8:57people were getting healed the healing
8:59ministry was very young in these days
9:01very few people had ever heard about
9:03divine healing or miracles they knew
9:06they'd happen in the long time ago in
9:07the Bible days and they thought well
9:09those is what God did to get the
9:11Christian and he'd gone but once it got
9:13going your miracles ceased because you
9:15didn't need it anymore well that's a
9:17side of religion the gospel has always
9:20confirmed by signs wonders and miracles
9:22and in church history if you study it
9:25when religious people took control they
9:29replaced signs wonders and miracles
9:30where
9:31ceremony ritual and tradition and
9:34anytime that replaces signs one of the
9:36miracles everybody starts dying they
9:38start complaining they start griping
9:41they get all fussy over stupid things
9:43that matter to nothing about people as
9:45an active life or the eternal life
9:46so lake starts preaching and playing
9:48with the sick and miracles start
9:50happening here's one of the stories that
9:52I found most most amazing and exciting
9:56that during the time that he was there
9:59there was a great plague that came
10:00through South Africa and remember
10:03medicine is not what it is today back
10:05then and so the native of Africans begin
10:08to die by the thousands and the white
10:10Africans that were there also were dying
10:12and and they were scared to bury the
10:14dead and so people would just die and
10:17they would be stayed in their homes and
10:18that's not a good thing to happen and so
10:21Lake was out saying if you guys won't
10:23bury that it I'll go go dig the graves
10:25and perform the services and and bury
10:27the dead because other preachers were
10:29scared to do it they were scared that if
10:31he got around it and get on them and
10:32killed them and and so the scientists
10:34and the doctors noticed that this
10:36missionary was out there digging graves
10:38and burying those that had died a few
10:40days before a few hours ago and and they
10:43said man don't do that you're gonna die
10:45and Lake said I will not die he says the
10:48law of life in Christ Jesus sets me free
10:51for the law of sin and death he says
10:53when that disease touches me it dies
10:55because the law of life is more power in
10:58the law of death and he said man you've
11:00just fanatical that's not tree says well
11:02I'll put you to the test take some of
11:05the saliva of the dead people here and
11:06put it on my hand and then put it up my
11:09hand in the microscope and watch what
11:11happens to the germs that killed these
11:12people
11:13he's I will guarantee you it will die
11:15and I will not well since he was so
11:18adamant about it and he was the only one
11:20bearing the dead and you know scientists
11:22are always inquisitive they said okay
11:25they did it so they went and found a
11:26person that died and got some of the
11:28saliva out of their mouth and put it on
11:30his hand
11:31and they put his hand in the microscope
11:34with the saliva there and they watched
11:36the germs stop moving and die and they
11:39repeated that on different bodies having
11:41got saliva from different people that
11:43had been dead for so longer just died
11:44and they tried it in different ways and
11:46each time they did it the German died
11:49under the microscope and to say the
11:51least
11:51John Gillette kept burying the dead and
11:53doing the funeral services and he did
11:54not die he had a revelation that the law
11:57of life in Christ Jesus sets you free
12:00from the law of sin and death now he
12:02also made a statement that I think would
12:04be appropriate to stay here is he said
12:07that sickness is small doses of death he
12:11viewed every illness no matter how
12:13dramatic it may be raus small loss was a
12:15dose of death and he goes he to get too
12:17many doses you die and he says but the
12:20law of life in Christ Jesus set you free
12:23from all of the doses of death and so
12:26that was woman that lived very strong in
12:28his heart and so he had that revelation
12:29where he did not have any fear of
12:32disease disease probably feared him
12:34because when he came it had to leave it
12:36had to die another story of him in South
12:39Africa with a miracle power without
12:40preaching to the native Africans and in
12:43those days they didn't do the mass
12:45prayer you pray one prayer over the
12:46crown of square of God sweeps in and
12:48begins to heal they didn't quite
12:50understand that so they still really
12:52there to touch each person individually
12:53and so lake had grown very tired of
12:56physically couldn't keep praying for
12:58everybody because he was tired and plus
13:00he had other appointments to go to and
13:02the crusade was going and he had nobody
13:04to give it to so he told all the native
13:07people there was a tree stump that had
13:08fallen over him I guess they have solid
13:10into or something he goes I'm gonna lay
13:12my hands on this tree stump and I'm
13:15gonna ask God to put the along and it's
13:16upon me right now to pray for you into
13:18this tree stump so that if you come by
13:20and believe God to heal you then when
13:23you touch this you'll get healing see
13:25it's not me that you need to have faith
13:27in his faith in Christ and so he prayed
13:29for this tree stump and asked God to
13:31take me don't his upon him at that time
13:32put it on this on this tree and when the
13:36people touched it God healed him touch
13:38them he's because I can't go any further
13:40I'm exhausted and so he got on his horse
13:43and went on back to
13:44and left the people and they begin to
13:46touch and he thought you know maybe in a
13:47couple hours that all go away he got
13:50someone came they didn't have phones in
13:51those days so a runner had to come and
13:54say a pastor late John Lake would you
13:56come back
13:57the crowds bigger and they're still
13:58touching the tree and they're still
13:59getting healed so he gets on his horse
14:01him and his few friends and go back out
14:03to where he left them and the crowd was
14:05double the size and people were still
14:07rushing to touch the tree where he had
14:09prayed and they were still getting
14:10healing now I know some of my thing but
14:12that's that's not right well not right
14:14whatever it happened and you know God
14:17can do signs wonders and miracles and
14:18the Bible talk about special or
14:20different kinds of miracles God can do
14:22anything he wants to do the way he wants
14:24to do it you know and I think sometimes
14:27we need that wild faith again we have
14:29too much Western civilized
14:31you know sophisticated faith have wild
14:33faith about it believe God for anything
14:35and let God do it like have many
14:37miracles in South Africa and great
14:39stories to go forth and he also had
14:42built the Apostolic Faith denomination
14:44is still going strong in South Africa
14:46today I think we left he had 500 native
14:49churches that he established in over 100
14:51white churches we were in those days the
14:53whites and the natives did not work
14:55together they were separate and so great
14:58success I mean but there's a sad point
15:00that must be made about Lakes life now
15:03sometimes when I tell some of the
15:05negative or a sad thing people get mad
15:07at me for it but we don't tell these
15:08stories so that we can criticize but so
15:11that we can learn the Bible says in
15:13Corinthians that things are written
15:14about the should of Israel that we could
15:16learn today of how to be better and to
15:18learn from their mistakes while in the
15:20South Africa what brought his ministry
15:22to an end even though the ministry bill
15:25kept going but he came back to America
15:26was his wife died his wife died in South
15:30Africa of malnutrition and exhaustion
15:32this brings a point that I want to make
15:35about ministry a lot of times people do
15:37not take responsibilities for their
15:40family as they should which was one of
15:41lakes mistakes here he did not take
15:44charge of his home as he should and put
15:47things in order so that his wife could
15:49rest and his wife could be properly fed
15:51and the ministry was so demanding up on
15:53the of all of them all over the team all
15:56of the people there that
15:58eventually it brought her to the end of
16:00her life prematurely
16:01the sad part of that it gets worse the
16:04children by the first wife Johnny Lakes
16:06first wife blamed him until the day they
16:08died that he killed their mother now I
16:11know that's not true in a way but that's
16:14the way the children felt until they
16:16died themselves they died still talking
16:18about their pain and their anger and
16:21their frustration with their dead over
16:23their mother down in South Africa so the
16:25point that I want to make right now the
16:27priority of God is God you and God
16:30relationship you and your family then
16:32you and your ministry that's the order
16:34that God wants it to be in if it's out
16:36of that order it's not right so let's
16:38make sure that we go into ministry if
16:40you want to keep a happy family put God
16:43first put them second and then your
16:45ministering your work third if it's the
16:47other way you're gonna have trouble when
16:49we come back we're gonna talk about his
16:51ministry in America after he leaves
16:52South Africa it's a great ministry the
16:55heating rooms are gonna come alive in a
16:56new way after late we turn to South
16:59Africa to pick up his children they all
17:01got back on the boat and came back to
17:03America which begins the next part of
17:05his life and his ministry he has to find
17:07a place to call home he goes out to the
17:09west coast to the state of Washington
17:11the city of Spokane where he remarries
17:14and has new children by a second wife
17:17and raising the children of the first
17:19line and he decides to start a certain
17:22type of ministry that he kind of learned
17:24under doughies ministry from zion it
17:26called the healers and what the healing
17:29rooms were they were places where people
17:32would come and they would get like a
17:34doctor's appointment or an appointment
17:36to meet with one of the healing
17:37technicians our healing technician was a
17:40person that john g lake had personally
17:43trained on how to heal the sick he had
17:45got several together we have a picture
17:47that you're seen this is a group of the
17:50healing technicians that he had trained
17:51personally and what he would do he would
17:53teach us the Bible teach him what he
17:55learned about frame visit and getting
17:56results and then their final test would
18:00be he would send him out to somebody
18:01that had called him that was sick and
18:03they could not come back
18:04school and who they were heal and that
18:07was their final Tet before they
18:08graduated to become a healing technician
18:11with him in the healing rooms so someone
18:13to go out and get them healed in the
18:14first hour somebody a couple of days but
18:17when they got a meal they came home and
18:19that was how you graduated from his
18:21training into becoming a minister of
18:23healing in the Healing Rooms so now that
18:26he's got his healing technicians and
18:28those who's trained all ready to go
18:29people come they have all types of
18:31disease and I'm in a wheelchair
18:33so I'm gonna come in a wheelchair
18:34someone needs canes we probably couldn't
18:36walk the legs a week all kinds of
18:38troubles and come into the heating rooms
18:40and they would be taken into a small
18:43room and one of the heating technicians
18:44would come in sit down and diagnose what
18:47the physical problem was where they were
18:49at spiritually and then decide what they
18:52needed to get healed
18:53how many scriptures watch scriptures how
18:56much prayer and they Battelle now
18:58between now your next appointment we
18:59want you to read these verses pray like
19:02this do this and then come back and then
19:04we will diagnose how far you come along
19:07or what you need to do to get your
19:09healing and so they keep walking it all
19:11the way through and so they got healed
19:13now you say well that's kind of strange
19:15Oh strange or not he had a hundred
19:18thousand documented miracles in five
19:20years now there's one thing that when
19:22you're in a healing campaign and people
19:24come up and they're not eating their
19:26cane no more and and we think it's great
19:29and exciting but then sometimes people
19:31lose their heel as it said they said
19:34they lost their healing because
19:35sometimes people's emotions can move
19:36them to a point where they think they're
19:38okay but when you have a hundred
19:40thousand documented miracles in five
19:43years there's no emotional aspect to
19:45those kind of records so lake did
19:48something phenomenal he knew how to
19:50teach his people how to heal the sick
19:53and then walk the sick all the way
19:55through to their miracle
19:56that's what da we did in Zion that's
19:58what a lot of the healing ministers did
20:00in the early part of the Pentecostal
20:01movement now another phenomenal thing
20:05that happened to Lake at this time was
20:08Spokane Washington was declared the
20:10healthiest city in America at this time
20:12the mayor of the city said that there
20:16was two reasons why
20:17received this award from Washington DC
20:20was because of the medical people the
20:22doctors and the nurses there in Spokane
20:24and what the doctors and nurses could
20:27not do or could not cure John G Lakes a
20:30Healing Rooms could do it and so I find
20:33it very exciting that the mayor of a
20:35city recognized the medical field and
20:38the divine healing field now most of the
20:41time these two worlds were separated but
20:43in Spokane at this time at least in the
20:45MERIS heart they put those together now
20:47a lot of early Pentecostals didn't
20:49believe in doctors they didn't believe
20:51in medicine because as dolly would say
20:53it was an inexact science mainly times
20:56people went to the doctors they got
20:58worst like a woman in the Bible it's
21:00been all she had and grew worse but I do
21:02believe that medicine and prayer can
21:04work together like one preacher said
21:06medicine kept me alive long enough not
21:08to need it anymore
21:09because as you build your faith and you
21:11don't need the medicine John G Lake met
21:13another student I'd like to talk about
21:15just for a moment that may provoke your
21:17thoughts he said he did not like the big
21:20healing ministry gifts but in our day
21:23would say like Benny Han or a Kathryn
21:25Kuhlman because it felt like it robbed
21:27people from developing their individual
21:29faith that helped them able to get
21:31miracles consistently in their life
21:33because when you see the big healing
21:35gifts or the healing ministries you
21:37become dependent upon them and he says
21:40he saw that became an enemy to people's
21:42everyday faith so I kind of agree with
21:45John G Lake in that way so let me
21:47explain it so you don't get mad at me or
21:49him for a moment it's great that we have
21:51Kathryn Kuhlman it's great that there's
21:53a bit of him there's great that these a
21:55George Jeffrey so it's great that we
21:56have these gifts but what if Benny
21:58Hinn's not in your city
21:59what if Kathryn Kuhlman's gone now and
22:02she's in heaven and she's no longer and
22:03her white dress singing Hallelujah
22:04getting you healed what are you gonna do
22:06sit there and suffer and wish you to get
22:09healed or wish a healer would come by
22:10when Jesus is the healer and he heals
22:13anybody anywhere in the world where
22:15faith is released if we can develop our
22:18individual faith in God's Word and learn
22:21how to get our miracles
22:22without the assistance of another gift
22:25it's far better that way you have it
22:28yourself wherever you go in the world
22:30and you're not a dependent person a lot
22:32of people today live as a dependent
22:35Christian and not an independent
22:37Christian and that is one of the
22:38challenges John G Lake ministered and
22:41taught people in his churches and those
22:43who are connected to his ministry how to
22:44develop their faith and get miracles on
22:47their own without having to have a signs
22:50and wonders ministry give come by and
22:52fix them I hope you'll do the same thing
22:54many of us are waiting for bidding to
22:56come to town or some famous hitter to
22:58come to town and I'm not against him
23:00but I'd rather have you know how to
23:01believe chapter and verse build your
23:03faith and get healed I knew John G Lakes
23:07daughter the last few years of her life
23:08and she gave me all of his unpublished
23:11sermons and I put them in a big book
23:13you'll see the book on the screen here
23:15over a thousand pages of dr. layke
23:17sermons and I hope that you'll get the
23:19book and read them because they're very
23:21powerful sermons he has an amount of
23:22healing and how to develop your faith
23:24and the one the point that I wanted as I
23:26begin to close today the first one
23:28sermons I have in this book it's called
23:30the spirit of a martyr and he believed
23:32the reason why his success in ministry
23:34and those with him in South Africa was
23:36successful was because they gave up
23:38everything for the cause of Christ
23:40there's a story that he tells that the
23:42money for his support for his mission
23:44had gotten very low and he couldn't give
23:46him the money to buy the food and take
23:47care of him so he called all of his
23:48missionaries and some ever got back to
23:50the base and and told him that he
23:52brother had them there that happened on
23:54the field where he couldn't support them
23:55and then all the missionaries had called
23:57in and asked him to leave the room and
23:59he walked out for two hours and a cup of
24:02coffee he said and he came back in and
24:04found the room with the chairs in a
24:05circle and a communion table at the
24:07front and the missionaries in there sent
24:09asking him to sit in the center of the
24:11circle and they said we've all made a
24:13commitment to God until one another and
24:15now we make it to you then we want to be
24:17sent back out to our post on the mission
24:19fields here in Africa we have to walk
24:22some of us don't have enough money for
24:23gas in the cars or for a horse to take
24:26us we'll walk and some did walked for
24:28three days and if we died out there
24:30preaching the gospel the only the only
24:32thing we ask is that you preach our
24:33funeral and he said that spirit
24:36martyrdom as he called it is what made
24:38them successful some of them walked two
24:39or three days he did some of their
24:41funerals but they died in faith and they
24:43not happy there's so much to talk about
24:45janja lake in to do it in 30 minutes is
24:47almost impossible but let's recap this
24:49for a few moments we talked about Lakes
24:51call into healing almost by accident
24:55because he saw a man who believed in
24:56healing pray for his wife and she got
24:59healed and because of the need it pushed
25:01him into ministry and then we see him
25:03had a vision from God and go to South
25:04Africa without anything but a word from
25:06God many times that's how God leads us
25:09he gives us a word he tells us go do
25:11this I want you to do that that's all
25:12you've got is a word and you create
25:14something out of that word then lake
25:16made a mistake where not knowing how to
25:17take care of his family in South Africa
25:19and we lost his first wife so let's make
25:22sure if you're married that's a priority
25:24if you have children that's a priority
25:25do not allow the busyness and the demand
25:29of the public to take away from the
25:31personal priorities of your life of God
25:33family and Lynn ministry and then we
25:35also see that he knew how to work with
25:37the city of Spokane he also knew how to
25:39make a personal commitment there is a
25:41running that he wrote about his
25:43consecration to Christ in between his
25:46return from South Africa to America he
25:49decided to make a written declaration of
25:51how he would commit himself to Christ
25:53and he wrote down seven points of how we
25:55treat man how he'd honor God with his
25:57life and avoid sins and so forth and so
25:59on every one of us needs to have that
26:01personal consecration that we Mabel to
26:04be able to stand against all accolades
26:06and all the persecutions and I want to
26:09pray for you right now that God will
26:10speak to you in a way that will create a
26:12moment in your life for to be a defining
26:14moment where you'll make a decision to
26:16live for him an honorable way a powerful
26:19way and a way that you're always be glad
26:21that you made this commitment in this
26:22time of your life I pray for you right
26:24now
26:25that all the voices around you will go
26:27quiet and that God's voice will be heard
26:29clear and distinctly inside of you I
26:31command him ambition to lay down and let
26:34the vision of God take its place and I
26:37pray for you to keep the priorities of
26:39God in your life and keep the priorities
26:41of how God want you to treat men in
26:43life and I can all the other polls to
26:46cease and for there be clarity and
26:48strength and focus in your life and in
26:52your ministry I pray that for you in
26:54Jesus name
