6:58or have a job to make a living and so
7:01she had to put the children in an
7:02orphanage and Jacko's early life was
7:04spent in out of orphanages in and out of
7:07broken homes you know what we call
7:08foster homes his mother was in
7:10Pennsylvania so there's all types of
7:12hard a campaign and then one day him and
7:14his brother escaped from the orphanage
7:16and while they were running for their
7:18life to get out the orphanage his
7:20brother right on the train tracks and
7:21the train hit his brother and killed him
7:23so Jack's early life was of great sorrow
7:25and great pain so he found Jesus healing
7:28came and new purpose came he went home
7:31to tell his mom and his family at that
7:32time I've gotten saved I found Jesus and
7:35so the family slowly begin to come to
7:38the Lord after Jack's new birth
7:39experience but Jack COEs ministry did
7:42not begin for a little while longer he
7:45went to their little some of the God
7:46Church not far from where he was based
7:48is about this time he was in the
7:49military and he would eventually get
7:51removed or kicked out of the military
7:53with an honorable discharge but because
7:55he was a religious fanatic on Sundays
7:58here to walk a couple miles of this
7:59church and he told the pastor he gotten
8:01saved and got involved that he felt
8:03called to preach so the pastor making
8:05the janitor of the church so Jack Koch
8:07grabbed the broom and the mop and begin
8:09to be the best Jenin of the church ever
8:11had and eventually when the pastor saw
8:13that he was was real and he was faithful
8:15then he gave him other work in the
8:17church to do he would did work in the
8:18offering did work as an usher do to work
8:20as a youth leader and eventually he got
8:22a previous first sermon so gradually jet
8:25Coe got into the ministry and then he
8:27found out that jesus heals today when
8:30Jacko discovered that God is a healing
8:32God then another
8:34came into his life now he wanted to go
8:37out and pray for all the sick people and
8:39get them healed he didn't know anything
8:41about the right music or the right
8:42atmosphere or the right type of order he
8:45was kind of a a bull in a china closet
8:47we've said that about wiglesworth but
8:49Jack cause a different kind of bull and
8:51even kind of trying to cause it

11:09meetings begin to grow and the triggers
11:11weren't big enough and there were not
11:13auditoriums in America to handle the
11:15thousand 2,000 3,000 he decided to build
11:18or go buy him a tent in those days in
11:20the 1950s the tents were where everybody
11:23was going because in America the
11:25buildings were small the tents were able
11:26to have the crowds and contained them in
11:29a proper way so Jack Koch bought him a
11:31big gospel tent begin to go around the
11:33country and preach and pray for the sick
11:35now Jack Coe in the way they had
11:37preached he was a very how can I say he
11:41didn't mind a good fight he's one of
11:43those rough personalities I think it's
11:45probably because as a child he had to
11:47fight for his life and went through so
11:48many hardships to survive he kind of got
11:50a an aggressive nature about him so he
11:52didn't mind a good fight in fact he
11:55preferred a good fight so when the devil
11:57would get too rare up and fight him over
11:58his tent being someplace so he'd fight
12:00City Hall he'd fight the farmers he'd
12:03fight the policemen he'd fight the
12:05denomination if preachers got met at him
12:07he'd fight them and the more they came
12:08against him the more he came alive it
12:10seemed like the more you fought the man
12:12the greater the miracles God the greater
12:14the strength inside him God his idea of
12:16praying for the sick wasn't like you
12:18know we do today we lay hands on
12:20somebody we pray we believe God to heal
12:22them it's not Kathryn Kuhlman this is
12:24Jack Coe he'd walk up to you grab them
12:27Gorder and shake it off your face and
12:28then throw it on the ground or he had a
12:30back problem he had moved you back and
12:32forth until you got healed so we a few

20:38that kind of gets your attention and
20:40Jaco had to have a little bit of a
20:42temper in the sense to do all that one
20:45of the first controversies I think it's
20:46kind of funny because when you look at
20:48the Tim preachers everybody had to have
20:49something you need to kind of make them
20:51special and be above everybody else and
20:53Jack Co said that he had the world's
20:55largest gospel Tim well at that time or
20:58Roberts was saying he had the world's
21:00largest gospel tent
21:02and here's what I found out to be true I
21:03asked all Roberts and I did the research
21:05one time I said who had the biggest
21:07gospel Tim well Jack Coe actually had
21:10the biggest gospel tent by three to four
21:12inches because what Jaco did he took a
21:14stake and you can see on the tent here
21:16and he moved it three to four inches
21:18more bigger than orals and put his
21:20stakes down and that's how he said I
21:22have the world's largest gospel tent and
21:24there were years later I was having
21:26dinner with Oral Roberts and I said who
21:28had the biggest gospel Tim and all
21:30Roberts kind of gave it a little smoky
21:32smile he goes Jacko did and I think we
21:35both know why he said that
21:36oral was a class act and so that was
21:38Jack Coast personality some other things
21:41that happened in Jack cause life he goes
21:42to Miami Florida and down there the
21:45religious people did not like the
21:47healing preachers and many of the
21:49temperatures at that time got in trouble
21:50with the religious leaders and the
21:52political leaders and the policemen
21:53because they all kind of work together
21:54against them or Roberts had shut his
21:56tent meeting down and leave early
21:58because of the opposition but Jack coke
22:00came alive on it so they actually put
22:02him in jail in Miami for practicing
22:05medicine without a license and it goes
22:07to trial or goes to a hearing and so
22:09that time a lot of jet Coast friends
22:11came to witness on the stand for him and
22:15you read the actual court documents and
22:17there are preachers there who give the
22:19biblical lessons for divine healing
22:20today and that others would do miracles
22:22in the courtroom grow out legs and arms
22:25that were short death ears are open and
22:27so right in the courtroom they started
22:28doing miracles and finally the judge
22:30said enough slams his gavel down
22:32dismisses the trial and Jack Co finishes
22:34his 10th meeting in Miami only Jack
22:37Coast personality could be one that
22:38could stand up to all that persecution
22:40and love every minute of it I'll show

22:44behind bars and notice his smile on his
22:47face like this is making my day kind of
22:49like a Clint Eastwood statement come on
22:51make my day and this is Jack coke he
22:54makes his tenth larger than orals he
22:56fights with the and Miami people and
22:58then he goes to Springfield Springfield
23:01that some of the God headquarters they
23:02get off with each other and they removed
23:04jet Coe from being one of their
23:05ministers so jet Coe goes and puts up
23:08his big tent and his stakes and starts
23:09having a revival meeting and telling the
23:11people of Springfield get out of the
23:13assemblies these people are gonna kill
23:15the anointing
23:15come and join me and take the world for
23:17Christ I don't know what all the fuss
23:19was about but at least it's funny in
23:21history to read that every time you
23:23punch Jack Koch he punches back but the
23:26good things about Genco he'd go places
23:28and get people saved by the thousands
23:30have huge altar calls for the baptism
23:32the Holy Spirit and the others are
23:33speaking in tongues so he was a man that
23:36did do the gospel along with all of his
23:38fussing and fighting but at the age of
23:4038 he dies jack code is at the height of
23:44his ministry and that is a sad thing to
23:47me to think that a man with this great
23:49healing gift pioneers you know Christian
23:52TV and radio builds an orphanage because
23:54of what he went through you want to help
23:55little boys little girls not go to the
23:57pain that he went through has a big
23:59publication The Herald of healing in the
24:01hundreds of thousands mailed out every
24:02month this great ministry and he dies
24:05now people die for different reasons but
24:08let's look at Jekyll just for a moment
24:09to make a life application I don't send
24:12this to be judgmental but when he died
24:14the doctor said that his body was that
24:16of a 90 year old well back to them they
24:19didn't understand eating habits and
24:20health as we do today but Jacko's body
24:23running around the country that big
24:25gospel tent eating late at night the
24:28wrong kinds of food you know where
24:29Christians are there's a joke and goes
24:31where there is two or three Christians
24:33there is Jesus and there's always food
24:34normally fried chicken and so with the
24:37jab Kohi eat night and all those
24:39late-night foods he gained all that
24:41weight and a part of his problem was he
24:43did not know how to take care of himself
24:44physically it's a question that many
24:46people have written me and asked me why
24:48do faith healers or preachers that
24:49believe in divine healing die sick and
24:52one of the most obvious answers is they
24:54don't take care of their body your
24:56spirit has an unlimited amount of
24:58strength it doesn't have as many
24:59limitations on as your body does if you
25:02don't take care of your body it's gonna
25:04stop it's gonna break and you cannot
25:06function in the earth without a healthy
25:08body and a strong body
25:10Genco died at 38 years of Eames at the
25:13height of his ministry because it didn't
25:15take care of himself
25:16Kenneth Hagin actually said the Lord
25:18told him to go warn jack codon jug
25:20himself in three areas in the area of
25:22gluttony a love for the brothers
25:24and his love for money now I don't know
25:26about all those things that Kenneth
25:28Hagins said I was around Kenneth Hagin
25:30growing up so I grown to believe that
25:33when the man speaks he speaks the truth
25:35so there must have been other aspects
25:37that I cannot see through the pages of
25:39reading books and history that maybe
25:41Kenneth Hagin saw by being alive and
25:42being in the tint meetings but they're
25:44just taking for his word let's make sure
25:46that as a minister we don't look at
25:48people as money we need money to do our
25:50tends to do the TV to do our outreaches
25:52the Gospel message is free but to get
25:54the message to everybody it takes
25:56thousands of millions of dollars and
25:58let's make sure that we looked at God as
26:00our source and not just people as our
26:02source when people become money we have
26:05a problem and we forget to love the
26:07Brethren sometimes because of
26:09competition we feel like people have
26:11done us wrong we want to get back at
26:12them the best way to stay in the right
26:14spirit and stay successful is to be a
26:16forgiving person if you don't forgive
26:18people even if they don't ask
26:20you cannot go forward forgiveness keeps
26:22you out of a prison that keeps you bound
26:24to a certain little small place of
26:26influence forgive those who speak bad
26:28about you forgive those who've
26:29misrepresent you and live bigger and
26:31live better the best way to get back at
26:33your critics is a live better with the
26:35right heart so these are a few things we
26:37can learn from Genco when he died his
26:39wife wanted to CO continued the ministry
26:41and his son and daughter continues it
26:43today Jack Cole jr. and Juanita cope are
26:46still moving across the country praying
26:48for the sick and doing great
