  1. 0:03We're in London for the global pricing
  2. 0:05and revenue management summit by
  3. 0:06Conferencia. We have two days of
  4. 0:08keynotes, master classes and panels on
  5. 0:11the most strategic and important topics
  6. 0:13linked to pricing and revenue
  7. 0:14management.
  8. 0:16What I really liked about today's event
  9. 0:18was that um it was not focused purely on
  10. 0:21the AI. It was also filled in with lots
  11. 0:23of practical information. There was a
  12. 0:25nice mix of the presentations of the
  13. 0:27panels and expert talks.
  14. 0:30Today I've been presenting about
  15. 0:32portfolio optimization and some key
  16. 0:35pitfalls which we encounter very often
  17. 0:37in the RGM space and also been part of a
  18. 0:40panel discussing dynamic pricing. One
  19. 0:43key takeaway about the conference has
  20. 0:45been that when setting up an RGM
  21. 0:47function, it's very important to think
  22. 0:49first about the people, then the
  23. 0:51processes, and then the technology and
  24. 0:52making sure you've got the right talent
  25. 0:54in the right place.
  26. 0:57Today I presented about uh the
  27. 1:00potentials of agentic AI and more so
  28. 1:02what we need to do to be ready for that.
  29. 1:04So very much a focus on uh people and
  30. 1:07processes. It's a really nice kind of
  31. 1:10event to hear about what others are
  32. 1:11doing in industry but more so to to
  33. 1:14network and and to connect with old
  34. 1:16friends and meet new friends.
  35. 1:20I was part of a panel uh of five
  36. 1:23industry experts uh and we were
  37. 1:25discussing the transition from moving
  38. 1:27from valuebased pricing to a valuedriven
  39. 1:29mindset. We talked about the frameworks
  40. 1:31to use and the successes that come out
  41. 1:33of that. So I'd absolutely recommend
  42. 1:35this event not just to to pricing and
  43. 1:37revenue management professionals but I
  44. 1:39think it would be really great if we get
  45. 1:41some seuite uh attendees. I think it's
  46. 1:42really important that they have a good
  47. 1:44view of what's happening in in the
  48. 1:46pricing and revenue management world and
  49. 1:47how they can support to keep moving uh
  50. 1:49the the strategy and objectives forward.
  51. 1:52>> I think that it would be great for some
  52. 1:54board members, some founders who are not
  53. 1:57yet sure where the pricing should sit in
  54. 1:59their organization and if it's already a
  55. 2:01good time for them to truly create a
  56. 2:03pricing pricing position. The earlier
  57. 2:05you think about it, the better outcome
  58. 2:07you're going to achieve.
  59. 2:08>> I would recommend this event to all the
  60. 2:10pricing managers. the the business
  61. 2:12owners, the CEOs because here you have
  62. 2:15different organizations who are bringing
  63. 2:16their own topics and their own
  64. 2:18challenges and it's always good to learn
  65. 2:20from others and also to know that you're
  66. 2:22not alone.
