  4. 0:17RKIT and I had the pleasure to join
  5. 0:19today for the global packaging
  6. 0:21innovation summit here in Berlin where
  7. 0:24we touch point on many interesting
  8. 0:27topics. I had the chance to participate
  9. 0:30two panel discussions.
  10. 0:32The first one was around AI and what's
  11. 0:35the role in packaging innovation and it
  12. 0:38was really interesting to see how AI
  13. 0:41could be the way of of creating
  14. 0:44efficiency but there were there was also
  15. 0:47debate on creating effective efficiency.
  16. 0:50We hope that today uh AI could be a tool
  17. 0:54uh for a quick win on some areas of the
  18. 0:57business and there are other areas when
  19. 0:59there's still some work to be done and
  20. 1:01some due diligence.
  21. 1:03Specifically, we talked on how the today
  22. 1:06is already creating some efficiency on
  23. 1:08project management, how it can be
  24. 1:10leveraged for innovation and scouting
  25. 1:13activities and also for product
  26. 1:16development. Of course, many challenges
  27. 1:18in the in the area of how the AI should
  28. 1:22be used in a responsible way, but all in
  29. 1:25all, very positive feedback on how the
  30. 1:28industry is engaging with AI and is
  31. 1:30already seen some benefits in this new
  32. 1:32tool available to us for making
  33. 1:34innovation. And then in the second day
  34. 1:37we we had the chance to speak in a in a
  35. 1:40panel about packaging as an enablement
  36. 1:43enablement tool which I it's it's a
  37. 1:47topic very very close to me because I we
  38. 1:51discuss on how packaging can be can
  39. 1:54elevate its presence into the the
  40. 1:57product. how packaging can engage
  41. 1:59consumers and also how packaging can
  42. 2:03enable sustainability through leveraging
  43. 2:05consumer convenience
  44. 2:07and few key takeaways from the
  45. 2:09conference today. It's about
  46. 2:11collaboration.
  47. 2:13It's about unlocking sustainability
  48. 2:16through consumer convenience. You're
  49. 2:18really spending time to understand
  50. 2:20consumers even for R&D teams really
  51. 2:23stepping into the territory of consumer
  52. 2:25insights to really understand what's the
  53. 2:27problem to solve and how to solve it
  54. 2:30inating sustainability in it by default
  55. 2:33because this is the expectation from
  56. 2:35many consumers and also how it's
  57. 2:38important to have in the room the right
  58. 2:41decision maker stakeholders and not to
  59. 2:44leave out part of the business that
  60. 2:45sometimes are really the enablers for
  61. 2:47innovation where innovation is not only
  62. 2:50an R&D effort but it's a overall old
  63. 2:54team's effort.
