  1. 0:00yo what's going on guys cinematic uh
  2. 0:03hold on there we go there we go
  3. 0:05bringing you the news and
  4. 0:08I'm going to do a report on a man named
  5. 0:11Glenn Ford now before I get into that I
  6. 0:13wanted to say that there has been an
  7. 0:14explosion in New York and uh massive
  8. 0:18structures have like just crumbled it's
  9. 0:21not terrorism as far as they know it's
  10. 0:22just something exploded in the building
  11. 0:24and I guess it was the old building I
  12. 0:27don't know but you can look that up I'll
  13. 0:28link that in the description but we're
  14. 0:30not here to talk about that
  15. 0:30unfortunately so far they say that there
  16. 0:32are at least two deaths I might report
  17. 0:34on that later when they get some more
  18. 0:36updated information now
  19. 0:39what I want to talk about right now is a
  20. 0:42man named Glenn Ford and uh I'm reading
  21. 0:46it I just read an article about it today
  22. 0:47he was Louisiana's longest serving death
  23. 0:51row prisoner he was locked up and on
  24. 0:53death row for over 30 years 30 years now
  25. 0:57they just recently found out that this
  26. 0:59man was innocent after all this time
  27. 1:03and they've released him from Death Row
  28. 1:04released him from prison all that uh
  29. 1:06cleared his name or whatever but good
  30. 1:08God people we got to get the justice
  31. 1:10system fixed think about this this man
  32. 1:13lost 30 years of his life he said he had
  33. 1:17children when he went to prison and now
  34. 1:18they are grown men with children that's
  35. 1:21one of the statements that he made
  36. 1:23um
  37. 1:24I don't know I see this [ __ ] all the
  38. 1:25time I'd be looking through the news I'd
  39. 1:27be seeing [ __ ] like this all the time
  40. 1:28and I'm telling you we have a flawed
  41. 1:30justice system they need to fix that
  42. 1:31[ __ ] think about 30 years he could have
  43. 1:34died in there now I think if he would
  44. 1:36have died in there and they maybe never
  45. 1:37even known they would have never found
  46. 1:39out that he was innocent or what if he
  47. 1:41would have died and then they would have
  48. 1:42said oh yeah he was innocent like think
  49. 1:45about how many people might be sitting
  50. 1:47in jail right now doing long prison
  51. 1:49terms and could possibly be innocent I
  52. 1:52don't know I know it's hard because I
  53. 1:55know that when we think somebody did
  54. 1:56something we want to make them you know
  55. 1:57we want to punish them for it and things
  56. 1:59like that but the world just doesn't
  57. 2:01work like that because we have a lot of
  58. 2:03things a lot of forces working against
  59. 2:05Justice you have crooked cops crooked
  60. 2:08lawyers uh just uh people that are
  61. 2:10crooked in general then you have uh
  62. 2:13people like for instance there's people
  63. 2:15that are
  64. 2:16um confessing the crimes they didn't
  65. 2:17even do trying to be popular
  66. 2:20um and you might say well that's their
  67. 2:22their dumb you know they're dumb for
  68. 2:24that but if somebody was to confess for
  69. 2:26a crime they didn't do purposely then
  70. 2:28there's a criminal running around or if
  71. 2:30somebody gets locked up for something
  72. 2:32that they didn't do then there's
  73. 2:35you know a criminal running around
  74. 2:37um I know we want to get criminals off
  75. 2:39the street I know we want to make people
  76. 2:40pay for doing bad things like if you
  77. 2:42kill somebody you want them to be
  78. 2:44murdered whatever but if there's not a
  79. 2:46hundred percent evidence against someone
  80. 2:48I think we need to stop locking people
  81. 2:50up we need to have stronger cases
  82. 2:52against these people some of these
  83. 2:54circumstantial cases are not even that
  84. 2:55good now if you want to go forensically
  85. 2:58I I'd say it holds a stronger case but
  86. 3:00circumstantial evidence oh the guy was
  87. 3:02in the vicinity of the area uh you know
  88. 3:05he matches the description type of [ __ ]
  89. 3:06to me that [ __ ] don't fly anymore
  90. 3:08there's so much DNA so much forensic
  91. 3:11science out there that we should be able
  92. 3:12to to capture criminals and quit locking
  93. 3:15up innocent people I'm gonna link you to
  94. 3:17the story in the bottom here and uh
  95. 3:18hopefully you guys enjoyed the video and
  96. 3:20uh Glenn Ford I am sorry you just spent
  97. 3:2230 years of life locked up in prison
  98. 3:24that's [ __ ] up I'm out peace
