  1. 0:00Making $10,000 a month as a day trader
  2. 0:03has never been as simple and easy as it
  3. 0:07is today. The problem is that people
  4. 0:09over complicate it. So, in today's
  5. 0:11video, I'm going to be sharing with you
  6. 0:13the five steps that if you just follow
  7. 0:16them, it is unreasonable that you won't
  8. 0:19achieve your goal of reaching $10,000 a
  9. 0:22month. Now, the first thing is how do
  10. 0:24you actually get to $10,000 a month? So
  11. 0:27essentially what you're going to need
  12. 0:28number one is you're going to need
  13. 0:31trading capital. The good thing is in
  14. 0:34today's age as you probably already know
  15. 0:37you don't need to be risking your own
  16. 0:39money. We have prop firms. Prop firms
  17. 0:42are a company that are there to give you
  18. 0:44hundreds of thousands of dollars. You
  19. 0:46can have multiple different prop firms.
  20. 0:48You could have millions of dollars in
  21. 0:50funding. And it's actually very very
  22. 0:52attainable. Again, as long as you follow
  23. 0:54the five steps that I'm going to be
  24. 0:56breaking down in this video. 10 years
  25. 0:57ago, 15 years ago, prop firms didn't
  26. 1:00exist. Trading was only available
  27. 1:02exclusively to rich people who already
  28. 1:05had capital or to large institutions.
  29. 1:08So, prop firms equal the playing field.
  30. 1:11So, you need trading capital. And
  31. 1:13realistically, it is extremely easy. One
  32. 1:16challenge from one prop firm can get you
  33. 1:19to $200,000 in funding. So, you want to
  34. 1:23go
  35. 1:25$200,000 in prop firm capital. That's
  36. 1:28one account from one prop firm. Bearing
  37. 1:30in mind, most prop firms will allow you
  38. 1:32to take multiple $200,000 accounts. So,
  39. 1:35this is essentially the bare minimum. If
  40. 1:37you can just generate
  41. 1:41five% monthly returns, that
  42. 1:46is your 10k a month. 5% on a 200k
  43. 1:52profit. That's the goal. So you want to
  44. 1:54get to 10k a month. Reverse engineered
  45. 1:56that goal. What you need because again
  46. 1:59we don't want to be focused on the
  47. 2:00output. The end goal. 10k a month is the
  48. 2:03end goal. We want to be focused on what
  49. 2:06we need to do, what we need to have, and
  50. 2:09who we need to be in order to make that
  51. 2:13a consistent reality. Now, how do you
  52. 2:16generate a 5% monthly return? and how do
  53. 2:19you get $200,000 in prop firm capital?
  54. 2:22That's pretty much what we covered in
  55. 2:24step number one and two. So again, like
  56. 2:28I said, it's genuinely never in the
  57. 2:32history of trading been as easy as it is
  58. 2:35today to make money, to make
  59. 2:37life-changing sums of money. The problem
  60. 2:39is is that most traders don't know what
  61. 2:42to do. Half of trading, at least for me
  62. 2:45in my personal experience, half of
  63. 2:46trading is just about knowing what to
  64. 2:50do. Once you know what you need to do,
  65. 2:55then the second half is just about doing
  66. 2:58it. The problem is that most traders
  67. 3:00don't know what to do and they're doing
  68. 3:02the wrong things. So half of your battle
  69. 3:05can be won just by doing this. Step
  70. 3:08number one is
  71. 3:11technical analysis competence, right?
  72. 3:15TAC, which simply means your ability to
  73. 3:18read price action. The market is a
  74. 3:22language and your ability to understand
  75. 3:25what it's telling you is directly
  76. 3:27proportionate to your ability to
  77. 3:30understand what's going to happen.
  78. 3:31Making money in trading is technically
  79. 3:33as simple as understanding where the
  80. 3:35market is going to go and where from
  81. 3:38it's going to go and you getting
  82. 3:40involved in that move. Your way of doing
  83. 3:42that is by understanding the market. The
  84. 3:45market is speaking to you. It's your job
  85. 3:47to understand what it's saying and then
  86. 3:50take action based off of the information
  87. 3:52that has given you. And so technical
  88. 3:53analysis competence which is where most
  89. 3:55of you are at right now. The issue
  90. 3:57though is that most people think that
  91. 3:59this is what ultimately solves
  92. 4:01everything. They think if they can read
  93. 4:03the market, then that is what's going to
  94. 4:05get them to their goal of $10,000 a
  95. 4:07month. But there's still four very
  96. 4:10important steps that most people miss.
  97. 4:12So technical analysis competence is the
  98. 4:15simplest one and it's probably where
  99. 4:16you're at right now. Just kind of one
  100. 4:18huge mistake that traders make at this
  101. 4:20level is they over complicate, right?
  102. 4:24They want to look at all of these
  103. 4:27different ways to understand the market.
  104. 4:30They've been convinced or programmed by
  105. 4:32society or maybe other traders that more
  106. 4:36equals better. The more information that
  107. 4:38I know, the better I will be at reading
  108. 4:40the market. The reality though is that's
  109. 4:43a fallacy. In fact, that's not reality.
  110. 4:46You just need one way that accurately
  111. 4:48tells you what the market is saying.
  112. 4:50Because with that, that's more than
  113. 4:52enough for you to be able to make money.
  114. 4:54You don't need to master every different
  115. 4:55type of technical analysis. You don't
  116. 4:57need to master every ICT concept. It's
  117. 5:00not how the game works. You need
  118. 5:01something that works and then you need
  119. 5:03to move along. I've seen traders stay at
  120. 5:06this level for years on end. They learn
  121. 5:09some technical analysis, they try and go
  122. 5:12and trade, it doesn't work. They think
  123. 5:14it's the technicals that's the problem.
  124. 5:15and they come back, they try to learn
  125. 5:16from someone else a different way of
  126. 5:18trading, this concept, that concept, and
  127. 5:20they're just say stuck in this area of
  128. 5:22analysis paralysis, right? And many of
  129. 5:24you maybe have already experienced this,
  130. 5:25maybe you're experiencing it right now.
  131. 5:26You don't need to over complicate
  132. 5:28things. I personally trade something
  133. 5:30called smart money concepts. If you're
  134. 5:33on this channel, there's a good
  135. 5:34likelihood that you already understand
  136. 5:35this because that's the main thing that
  137. 5:37I typically talk about. Smart money
  138. 5:39concepts is essentially, very simply
  139. 5:41put, a way to read the price from first
  140. 5:46order consequences. What that means is
  141. 5:49I'm looking at the primary drivers. I
  142. 5:51want to understand why price is doing
  143. 5:54what it's doing. The thing with
  144. 5:55indicators and patterns and candlestick
  145. 5:58understanding, they don't actually tell
  146. 5:59you what the market's going to do. They
  147. 6:01tell you what the market has done. And
  148. 6:03for me, that just doesn't really give me
  149. 6:05the context as to what's about to happen
  150. 6:07because I need to understand what's
  151. 6:09actually happening, what's going on in
  152. 6:11the order flow. Because to move this
  153. 6:13market, to move any market, you need a
  154. 6:17whole lot of money. And it is not the
  155. 6:19retail market that is moving price. It's
  156. 6:21large institutions. And so I need to
  157. 6:23understand what they are doing. And
  158. 6:26smart money concepts is the superior way
  159. 6:29of being able to do that. So step number
  160. 6:31one is your technical analysis
  161. 6:33competence. In summary, your ability to
  162. 6:37digest the information the market's
  163. 6:39telling you, make sense of that
  164. 6:41information and then do something with
  165. 6:43it. And final thing, just pick one. Pick
  166. 6:46one way to read the market and just
  167. 6:48stick with that. That's how you will get
  168. 6:50the results. Step number two is
  169. 6:53essentially all about building an edge.
  170. 6:56You probably heard this many different
  171. 6:58times. You need an edge. You need a
  172. 7:00playbook. You need a system. You need a
  173. 7:01strategy, right? An edge simple is a
  174. 7:11statistical
  175. 7:15likelihood of success. What that means
  176. 7:18is that you have a plan and you've
  177. 7:22tested that plan in historical data and
  178. 7:26it has shown you that it works. The data
  179. 7:30makes sense. your stats are good enough
  180. 7:33for you to be able to make money trading
  181. 7:35this system. That's actually as simple
  182. 7:37as an edge is. The problem lies in the
  183. 7:40fact that nobody knows how to build an
  184. 7:43edge. And that's because nobody really
  185. 7:45talks about it. All you ever really see
  186. 7:47online is everything about technical
  187. 7:49analysis. And sometimes you'll see
  188. 7:51people talk about a trading strategy. A
  189. 7:53trading strategy is a very, very
  190. 7:54important part of you building an edge.
  191. 7:57But the problem still lies in the fact
  192. 7:59that you still don't know how to make
  193. 8:00that make sense. And so here's what I
  194. 8:03want you to think about when it comes to
  195. 8:05building an edge. Imagine the entire
  196. 8:08process of every single action that you
  197. 8:12could take in the market. That looks
  198. 8:14like this, right? You get to the market
  199. 8:17each day. Now you have to decide which
  200. 8:21pairs are you
  201. 8:23trading, which market, which pairs,
  202. 8:25which asset you trading, what time are
  203. 8:27you trading, London, New York, Asia?
  204. 8:30What time you trading? New York A.M.,
  205. 8:32New York PM, all day, right? Which I
  206. 8:34don't recommend. But what time are you
  207. 8:36trading? What asset you trading? Right?
  208. 8:39What pair are you trading? Then you need
  209. 8:40to understand how am I reading the
  210. 8:42market? So how am I developing a bias? A
  211. 8:45bias is very simply put your inclination
  212. 8:48of what's going to happen. And inside of
  213. 8:51that bias, it's basically taking
  214. 8:53everything technically and putting it
  215. 8:54into, you know, a a format where you can
  216. 8:57say, okay, I think that the market is
  217. 8:59going to do X, Y, and Z today based off
  218. 9:01of the concept that I have. You need to
  219. 9:03build a bias. Then you need to build,
  220. 9:06you know, your confirmations. Let's say,
  221. 9:08okay, now you have your bias, but now
  222. 9:10you only understand direction. How are
  223. 9:12you getting into the market? What do you
  224. 9:14need to see happen before you take the
  225. 9:17trade? How much are you going to risk
  226. 9:19when you take the trade? Are you going
  227. 9:21to take partials at any level? When are
  228. 9:23you going to move your stop loss to
  229. 9:24break even? When are you going to take
  230. 9:26your full position off the table? What
  231. 9:28are you going to do once you've taken
  232. 9:29the trade? Right? How do you manage it?
  233. 9:31How do you reflect on it? How do you
  234. 9:33journal it? How do you collect your
  235. 9:34data? What about refinements,
  236. 9:37optimization, solving for inefficiencies
  237. 9:39in your system? Right? every decision
  238. 9:42that you could make leading up to the
  239. 9:45action of closing a position. They are
  240. 9:50processes. They are decisions that you
  241. 9:52need to make. And so building an edge is
  242. 9:55essentially making a plan for every one
  243. 9:59of those actions. So for me personally,
  244. 10:01I understand when I come into the
  245. 10:03market, I know am I looking for buys or
  246. 10:06sells today?
  247. 10:08I know what needs to happen in order for
  248. 10:11me to look for a buy or look for a sell.
  249. 10:15I understand when to change my bias. I
  250. 10:18understand where I'm going to take a
  251. 10:20trade from because I can be bearish for
  252. 10:22the day, meaning I'm expecting lower
  253. 10:24prices. My bias is lower prices, but
  254. 10:28that doesn't mean I'm just going to come
  255. 10:29to the markets and just take a short
  256. 10:31position. I need areas that I'm looking
  257. 10:34at trading away from. I need to
  258. 10:36understand confirmation, right? I don't
  259. 10:38want to just trade with the trend. If
  260. 10:40we're down here, great, we're bearish.
  261. 10:42I'm what gonna sell now? No, I need to
  262. 10:44understand the areas that I want to get
  263. 10:46into. And then when I get into my areas,
  264. 10:49I don't want to just sell from this
  265. 10:50level. I want confirmation. And then
  266. 10:52when I get that confirmation, I need to
  267. 10:54know where am I entering my market?
  268. 10:56Where am I placing my stop loss? Where
  269. 10:58am I taking my profits? At what point
  270. 11:00should I take my risk off the table? At
  271. 11:02what point do I close the position?
  272. 11:03Right? All of these decisions that you
  273. 11:06need to make essentially need to come
  274. 11:08under the context of a trading plan that
  275. 11:12is built from your technical analysis
  276. 11:16concepts and competence. So you take all
  277. 11:19of your technical skills and then you
  278. 11:21put them into order. So this is
  279. 11:24organization. You're going to organize
  280. 11:26the concepts that you have into a plan.
  281. 11:29And that is essentially the first step
  282. 11:32of building your edge. But there's
  283. 11:36something again critical that so many
  284. 11:38traders make the mistake of at this step
  285. 11:41too. They get an understanding of
  286. 11:43technicals from YouTube or something
  287. 11:45like that. They get a trading plan.
  288. 11:47Maybe they watch a YouTube video and
  289. 11:49they hear someone's got a strategy and
  290. 11:50then they take that strategy and that's
  291. 11:53all they have. And so now they're trying
  292. 11:54to take that strategy to the live market
  293. 11:57and start trading. The problem is that
  294. 11:59you actually don't know whether that
  295. 12:02plan has an edge. Because an edge isn't
  296. 12:06just a a strategy that's been taken over
  297. 12:08five trades, right? I see all the time,
  298. 12:09you go on YouTube, you see this 80% win
  299. 12:12rate strategy and they show you the
  300. 12:13video and they made money with the
  301. 12:15strategy and they show you five trades,
  302. 12:16right? The problem is is it may have an
  303. 12:1980% win rate over five trades, but does
  304. 12:21it have an 80% win rate when you take it
  305. 12:23on every single trade that happens for
  306. 12:25the entire year? I I don't know. This is
  307. 12:27what you have to understand because an
  308. 12:29edge isn't built over five trades.
  309. 12:31Anyone can make money over five trades,
  310. 12:33but that's not the goal. The goal is to
  311. 12:34make money month in month out,
  312. 12:36consistently year in year out. And so
  313. 12:38you need to make sure that that plan
  314. 12:41works, which takes us onto step number
  315. 12:44three, which is all about testing. This
  316. 12:47is where we really
  317. 12:48confirm our edge. This is the bridge
  318. 12:52from essentially theory, right? Theory
  319. 12:57of a strategy. You go to YouTube, you
  320. 12:59see someone's got this 5minute trading
  321. 13:01strategy with an 80% win rate that made
  322. 13:03a million dollars in a week. And you
  323. 13:05have that. Great. But now it's just
  324. 13:06theory. You don't know the numbers on
  325. 13:08it. You don't know how many trades that
  326. 13:10it's been taken over. How does it
  327. 13:12actually work? There's so many different
  328. 13:13variables that you don't understand.
  329. 13:15This is why you must test. Testing is
  330. 13:18pretty much taking your technicals into
  331. 13:21the trading plan that you took and then
  332. 13:25going to a software right a back testing
  333. 13:29software and going for example let's say
  334. 13:32today the date was the 1st of January
  335. 13:36right let's say it was the 1st of
  336. 13:39January 2025 well I need to take this
  337. 13:42trading plan and I need to go back
  338. 13:46to
  339. 13:48January the
  340. 13:501st
  341. 13:5120 24 for example, right? That would be
  342. 13:54one year of data. I need to go back in
  343. 13:56time and then I need to trade every
  344. 14:00single day trading that plan. So every
  345. 14:03time that everything aligns in the
  346. 14:07market that meets that plan, I take the
  347. 14:09trade. Right? And then once you've done
  348. 14:12that, that is actually testing because
  349. 14:16now at the end of that period for one
  350. 14:18year, you've taken every trade that
  351. 14:20meets that plan. Now you actually
  352. 14:22understand the data. Now you start to
  353. 14:25understand the statistics. Now you can
  354. 14:27really understand does this actually
  355. 14:29have an 80% win rate or is it more like
  356. 14:33maybe it has a 53% win rate. You need
  357. 14:37more data. And the way that you really
  358. 14:40understand whether you have an edge or
  359. 14:42not is by testing. And the way you test
  360. 14:44is you take a strategy, you take your
  361. 14:46trading plan. If this happens, I do this
  362. 14:48and I do that. All the different
  363. 14:50variables that are inside of a trading
  364. 14:52plan, you take it and then you go and
  365. 14:54test it on historical data. And then
  366. 14:57what happens for most people is they'll
  367. 14:59test that plan and they'll get all of
  368. 15:02their data back. And there'll be many
  369. 15:05inefficiencies in the data.
  370. 15:06Inefficiencies are pretty much things
  371. 15:10that could be improved. So if you have a
  372. 15:13trading strategy that has great
  373. 15:14potential, but there are just a some
  374. 15:16things that you noticed whilst you was
  375. 15:19testing that strategy that could make
  376. 15:21this thing better. And so that is where
  377. 15:23you start advanced testing, right? And
  378. 15:26creating hypothesises. Essentially a
  379. 15:29hypothesis. If I try this, what will
  380. 15:32happen? if I don't enter on the
  381. 15:3515-minute chart, what if I enter on the
  382. 15:37five-minute chart? What if I don't wait
  383. 15:39for, you know, a certain candle produce?
  384. 15:42What if I wait for a break of structure?
  385. 15:44These whatifs? And then you start
  386. 15:46testing these whatifs. And that's a
  387. 15:48hypothesis. And so essentially what we
  388. 15:51have now is you have a sound technical
  389. 15:55competence. You understand things. You
  390. 15:57understand market structure, liquidity,
  391. 15:59supply and demand. You've begun the
  392. 16:01process of building an edge. You've
  393. 16:03taken what you've taken here. You've put
  394. 16:06it into a plan and now you're really
  395. 16:08understanding does this thing work by
  396. 16:11testing. The reality is there'll be some
  397. 16:13loops of this testing that you may have
  398. 16:15to go through to actually make sure that
  399. 16:17you have an edge therein becomes a new
  400. 16:21problem. Right? This is again every
  401. 16:24single step here. Right? If you imagine
  402. 16:26a hundred different traders come in and
  403. 16:28their goal is to become profitable. They
  404. 16:31want to reach $10,000 a month. This is
  405. 16:33what
  406. 16:35happens. 70% of them drop off here. 70%
  407. 16:40of them either don't get a good
  408. 16:43understanding of technical analysis
  409. 16:44because they're learning the wrong
  410. 16:45things or they stay stuck at this level,
  411. 16:48not knowing how to move past here.
  412. 16:50another
  413. 16:5220% drop off here in the edge because
  414. 16:56they don't actually understand how to
  415. 16:58properly build a trading strategy
  416. 17:00because they don't understand all the
  417. 17:01processes, right? So, they don't
  418. 17:03understand how to build a trading
  419. 17:04strategy. And then a further 5% drop off
  420. 17:08here in the testing because it's
  421. 17:10overwhelming and so many people don't
  422. 17:11know how to test. And so now
  423. 17:13essentially, you're already at your
  424. 17:15point of where 95% of traders fail. And
  425. 17:19so with each step, the amount of traders
  426. 17:23that actually make it to that level
  427. 17:25substantially decreases, which takes us
  428. 17:28onto step number four. Every trader at
  429. 17:30each step that they're on, they think
  430. 17:32that's the final step, right? I've been
  431. 17:33there myself when I first started
  432. 17:35trading. I thought if I just understand
  433. 17:36how to read the the market, I'll just
  434. 17:39somehow make money. And then I realized
  435. 17:40that actually, you know what, I need a
  436. 17:43trading plan. So if I just put together
  437. 17:44a trading plan, well, now I'll
  438. 17:46definitely make money. And then I
  439. 17:48realized that actually I don't really
  440. 17:50know if this trading plan is even
  441. 17:51working. And so I'm taking trades but
  442. 17:53now I'm not confident in the trade I'm
  443. 17:55taking. Or when I lose three trades in a
  444. 17:58row, I start doubting whether my
  445. 18:00strategy even actually works. And then
  446. 18:03you start testing. And then I say to
  447. 18:06myself, okay, I've tested the strategy.
  448. 18:09Now I know that I have a strategy that
  449. 18:12works. And this is where so many traders
  450. 18:15can't get past because they all think
  451. 18:18for their entire period is when they get
  452. 18:20to this level that this is the final
  453. 18:22boss. I have a strategy that I know
  454. 18:24makes money. That's the hardest part.
  455. 18:26Right? Wrong. The next level is what I
  456. 18:30call the
  457. 18:34performance gap.
  458. 18:39The performance gap very simply put is
  459. 18:42the difference between your theoretical
  460. 18:45results. So you had a strategy, you
  461. 18:47tested it, you have a full year of data.
  462. 18:50That strategy in that one year returned
  463. 18:53100% if you would have taken every trade
  464. 18:55and traded it perfectly. That is the
  465. 18:57capability of your trading strategy.
  466. 18:59Right? So the actual strategy has the
  467. 19:02chance of making 100% in a year. But
  468. 19:04what happens? Traders have this thing
  469. 19:07called the performance gap, which is the
  470. 19:09difference between your theoretical
  471. 19:11results and your actual results. Because
  472. 19:14now the biggest problem that exists is
  473. 19:17you have to show up every single day and
  474. 19:20take the trades that meet your plan and
  475. 19:23not deviate from your plan. Don't close
  476. 19:25early. Don't miss a day. Don't hesitate
  477. 19:27on a trade, right? All of these things,
  478. 19:30you have to make sure that you follow
  479. 19:31your plan to perfection. That's a
  480. 19:33difficult thing to do. And so what a lot
  481. 19:36of traders experience is a performance
  482. 19:38gap. Some traders experience a small
  483. 19:41performance gap. The strategy could do
  484. 19:43100% and instead of 100% maybe they get
  485. 19:4620% out of the strategy. This was me in
  486. 19:49the beginning as well. Right? I've been
  487. 19:50through in all of these steps which is
  488. 19:52why I understand that this is the way to
  489. 19:53do it. Right? I wish someone had
  490. 19:56explained this to me a long time ago. I
  491. 19:58knew that my strategy worked. I knew
  492. 19:59that it was great. But for some reason
  493. 20:01in historical data my strategy was
  494. 20:03averaging you know 100% 80% 90% 110% in
  495. 20:08this ballpark region per year but at the
  496. 20:11end of each month I kept on racking up
  497. 20:14these 3% months or these 2% months. And
  498. 20:17the reality is is I was making money. I
  499. 20:19was a profitable trader but I still felt
  500. 20:21like an utter failure. And the reason I
  501. 20:24felt like a failure is because number
  502. 20:26one I had unrealistic expectations of
  503. 20:28what's possible. And number two is that
  504. 20:31I'm I know I'm underperforming. And so
  505. 20:34if you're at that point right now, maybe
  506. 20:35you are slightly profitable. I want you
  507. 20:38to understand that this isn't a terrible
  508. 20:41place to be. It's a lot better than
  509. 20:43being down here. And it's also a lot
  510. 20:45better than other traders, which is a
  511. 20:48lot of them, where actually their
  512. 20:50strategy is profitable, and somehow they
  513. 20:53still end up losing 40% in a year. they
  514. 20:56still end up blowing funded accounts.
  515. 20:58Like how many traders out there, maybe
  516. 21:00yourself included, you you have a
  517. 21:02profitable trading strategy, you know
  518. 21:04that it works and yet you're blowing
  519. 21:06funded challenge after funded challenge
  520. 21:07after funed challenge or you've got a
  521. 21:09personal account and right now you're
  522. 21:10sitting in 20% of draw down. Hello.
  523. 21:13There's a huge discrepancy between your
  524. 21:16theoretical results and your actual
  525. 21:18ability to execute the results. So
  526. 21:21what's the solution? The solution
  527. 21:24is discipline.
  528. 21:26Now, that word gets thrown out so much
  529. 21:29and honestly, I hesitate to use it a lot
  530. 21:31of the time, but it is discipline. It
  531. 21:34does come down to discipline, but it's a
  532. 21:36lot deeper than that because a lot of
  533. 21:38people hear that and think, I just need
  534. 21:40to be more disciplined. I just need to
  535. 21:41be more disciplined. And whilst that is
  536. 21:44true, telling yourself that you need to
  537. 21:45be more disciplined doesn't work. I
  538. 21:47mean, you probably experienced it your
  539. 21:49yourself, right? I need to be more
  540. 21:51disciplined. I need to be more
  541. 21:52disciplined. I need to be more
  542. 21:52disciplined. which is basically what
  543. 21:54you're saying is I'm not disciplined.
  544. 21:55I'm not disciplined. I'm not
  545. 21:56disciplined. And then you're trying to
  546. 21:57come into the market and you're trying
  547. 21:59to exert your willpower. You're trying
  548. 22:00to force your discipline on the market,
  549. 22:02but you don't even understand what's
  550. 22:04happening to you. You don't understand
  551. 22:06why you're not following your plan. And
  552. 22:10this is where psychology comes involved.
  553. 22:14Right? The big problem here is
  554. 22:16psychology. And everyone tells you,
  555. 22:18every profitable trader, and I will tell
  556. 22:20you myself, trading is 80% psychology.
  557. 22:23There are traders out there that say
  558. 22:24that's BS. I don't believe that they're
  559. 22:26real traders because any real trader
  560. 22:28understands that the biggest battle that
  561. 22:31we face is our ability to control
  562. 22:33ourselves. The people out there that
  563. 22:35just say psychology is irrelevant if you
  564. 22:38have a good trading strategy, I don't
  565. 22:39believe that they're actually profitable
  566. 22:41traders, I'll be totally honest with
  567. 22:42you. Because if you really don't believe
  568. 22:45that the biggest goal is to be able to
  569. 22:49follow your plan, then I'm I'm not
  570. 22:51really sure that you've ever actually
  571. 22:52tried to follow your plan consistently.
  572. 22:54That's really the truth. The problem is
  573. 22:57psychology and poor psychology, which is
  574. 23:01essentially dis disobedience, is what
  575. 23:06causes the performance gap.
  576. 23:11Your inability to follow your plan is
  577. 23:14why you aren't making money. If you're
  578. 23:15at a point right now where you have a
  579. 23:17profitable strategy that you've proven
  580. 23:18is profitable, your problem is
  581. 23:20psychology. Now, the thing is is you're
  582. 23:22probably out there now after taking
  583. 23:24these trades, you're probably sitting to
  584. 23:26yourself on YouTube trying to look for
  585. 23:27new trading strategies, new ways to read
  586. 23:30the market because some for some reason,
  587. 23:33even though I mean it worked before,
  588. 23:35maybe it's just stopped working, right?
  589. 23:37And the reality is is probably not. The
  590. 23:39reality is is you're probably not taking
  591. 23:42the trades that you need to be taking.
  592. 23:44And so you need to figure out here the
  593. 23:47big problem here, the
  594. 23:50milliondoll, right? The million
  595. 23:53dollar problem that if you solve this
  596. 23:56problem genuinely will unlock millions
  597. 23:59of dollars is your ability to follow
  598. 24:02your rules. And that comes from really
  599. 24:06understanding yourself, understanding
  600. 24:08your patterns, understanding your
  601. 24:10behaviors, understanding your triggers,
  602. 24:12and then overcoming those triggers. But
  603. 24:14here's the kicker again. You can do the
  604. 24:17psychological work, but until you do
  605. 24:20what's required at step five, you don't
  606. 24:22actually know number one whether it's
  607. 24:24working and number two whether you're
  608. 24:27going to be able to sustain it. Because
  609. 24:28step number five is an operating system.
  610. 24:31And I'll tell you this right now, 1% of
  611. 24:35traders get to this level because if you
  612. 24:38get to that point, you've already
  613. 24:39mastered these things, right? You you
  614. 24:41haven't necessarily mastered psychology,
  615. 24:43but you're doing the actual work
  616. 24:45required to bridge the gap. What you're
  617. 24:48missing then is an OS, right? An
  618. 24:51operating system. An operating system is
  619. 24:54a designated centralized area where you
  620. 24:58look at everything trading related. You
  621. 24:59look at all the trades you've
  622. 25:02taken, the
  623. 25:05outcomes of those
  624. 25:07trades.
  625. 25:11Why why you took the trade alignment?
  626. 25:15So, was this trade in alignment with
  627. 25:19your plan? Right? And then when you have
  628. 25:22all of this data and then you put in
  629. 25:24place
  630. 25:27a review
  631. 25:29system, right? A review system which is
  632. 25:33a process that you go through where you
  633. 25:36review everything that you're doing on a
  634. 25:38daily basis. Every single week at the
  635. 25:40end of the week, I go in and look at
  636. 25:42every single decision that I made in the
  637. 25:44market that week and I understand this.
  638. 25:47How well were my outcomes? Did I make
  639. 25:50money? Yes or no? Okay, let's say for
  640. 25:53example, I didn't make money that week.
  641. 25:55For me, that doesn't mean that it was a
  642. 25:56bad week. For me, a bad week is I didn't
  643. 26:00follow my plan. This one here, this is
  644. 26:03the key, alignment. This is the most
  645. 26:05important data point. Was I trading in
  646. 26:08alignment with my plan? The problem that
  647. 26:09most traders have is their most
  648. 26:12important point is their outcome. Did I
  649. 26:14make money? If I didn't make money, it's
  650. 26:16bad. If I did make money, it's good.
  651. 26:19That's not how it works. Because being a
  652. 26:21trader, if you want to succeed in the
  653. 26:23long term, it is, and please, please,
  654. 26:26please, please, if there's anything you
  655. 26:28take from this, it's this. A trader's
  656. 26:31ability to make
  657. 26:34money
  658. 26:38is
  659. 26:41proportionate
  660. 26:42to his
  661. 26:46ability to
  662. 26:49follow his
  663. 26:51plan. Excuse my messy writing, but a
  664. 26:54trader's ability to make money is
  665. 26:57proportionate. Proportionate means
  666. 26:59relative, right? If I follow it 10%,
  667. 27:02I'll get 10% of the rewards. It's
  668. 27:05proportionate to his ability to follow
  669. 27:07his plan. Successful trading is not I
  670. 27:10made $5,000 today, but I didn't follow
  671. 27:15my
  672. 27:18plan. For you, maybe that's
  673. 27:21good for me. That's dangerous. If I make
  674. 27:24money not following my plan, what does
  675. 27:27that tell my mind? That tells my mind
  676. 27:30it's safe to not follow your plan. In
  677. 27:31fact, not following your plan is good.
  678. 27:36That's the message that my brain makes.
  679. 27:37If I do that too many times and I feel
  680. 27:40good about the money that was made,
  681. 27:43guess what happens? Without even knowing
  682. 27:45it, in due time, you're going to see
  683. 27:47your inability to follow your plan get
  684. 27:50progressively higher. So it's very
  685. 27:52important that you disassociate outcome
  686. 27:55and alignment because outcome is
  687. 27:59nothing. Alignment is everything because
  688. 28:02you should only be caring about
  689. 28:03alignment of course if you have these
  690. 28:06things. Right? Again if there's any
  691. 28:08trader that out there that tells you
  692. 28:09that psychology isn't important, don't
  693. 28:10focus on it. If they give the context
  694. 28:13until you have an edge, I agree. But
  695. 28:19once you get past this point, it's all
  696. 28:21about
  697. 28:23you. It's all about you. There's nothing
  698. 28:26that trading strategies and technicals
  699. 28:28and the market can do for you anymore.
  700. 28:30Nothing. Now it's you versus you. Now,
  701. 28:33every day you show up to the markets and
  702. 28:35the market's going to mirror you. Mirror
  703. 28:37your ability to follow your plan, mirror
  704. 28:39your impatience, mirror your
  705. 28:41consistency. That's the key. So at step
  706. 28:44five, you need an operating system, an
  707. 28:47area that you can look at all of your
  708. 28:49data and consistently monitor what's
  709. 28:52going on because what we need to be
  710. 28:54understanding is our performance. And
  711. 28:57this is how usual performance goes. We
  712. 29:00have highs, we have lows, we have high
  713. 29:03periods, we have low periods, we have
  714. 29:04high periods. If you are a human, you've
  715. 29:06experienced this in every single thing
  716. 29:08that you've done in your life. For me,
  717. 29:11here's what I want to do. I want to
  718. 29:12understand when I'm at my low periods,
  719. 29:15what's going on? What am I doing? And
  720. 29:18can I be doing things differently?
  721. 29:20Because your actions equal your outputs.
  722. 29:24Right? I think it's Newton's third law.
  723. 29:26For every action, there's an equal and
  724. 29:28opposite reaction. Simply putting, what
  725. 29:30you put in is what you get out. Your
  726. 29:34actions dictate the reactions of what
  727. 29:37you get. So, it's everything about
  728. 29:39alignment. If you can have all of these
  729. 29:41things and you can put them all together
  730. 29:43and you do the work, it is impossible
  731. 29:46not to get to the point of 10K a month.
  732. 29:48And that really is just a starting
  733. 29:50point. $200,000 account starting point.
  734. 29:52You can go way higher than this. But
  735. 29:55goal number one, let's get you to

  765. 31:01limiting beliefs. It goes so deep to be
  766. 31:03totally honest with you. And your
