  1. 0:00I'm going to show you how to take one
  2. 0:02digital invitation design and turn it
  3. 0:04into 10 listings without ever starting
  4. 0:08from a blank page. Same layout, same
  5. 0:10pricing, 10 different themes with each
  6. 0:13one aimed at a different search. And
  7. 0:15then I'll show you how to get all 10
  8. 0:17listings onto Etsy in one sitting in
  9. 0:21just a few minutes instead of one slow
  10. 0:24listing at a time. You see most of the
  11. 0:27work in a shop isn't the design. It's
  12. 0:30starting over every time. A new theme
  13. 0:33means a new blank canvas, decisions
  14. 0:36about layout and fonts, and a lot of
  15. 0:39second-guessing about whether it looks
  16. 0:41right. 10 themes means 10 fresh starts.
  17. 0:45And most sellers run out of energy by
  18. 0:47the third one. So the shop stays small,
  19. 0:50not because the products are bad, but
  20. 0:52because each new listing takes too much
  21. 0:55effort. And there's a second reason.
  22. 0:57It's about what you learn.
  23. 0:59Every new Etsy listing is an opportunity
  24. 1:02to learn what your customer wants. One
  25. 1:05listing gives you one little sample. 10
  26. 1:08listings gives you 10. And you find out
  27. 1:11which theme your customer actually
  28. 1:13reaches for. But only if 10 listings
  29. 1:16doesn't take you 10 times as long. And
  30. 1:18that's exactly what this process fixes.
  31. 1:21[music] Think about how a dressmaker
  32. 1:23works. She doesn't draw a brand new
  33. 1:26pattern for every dress she makes. She
  34. 1:28spends time getting one pattern right.
  35. 1:31The fit through the shoulders, how the
  36. 1:34waist fits, and how the sleeves hang.
  37. 1:37Once it fits, it fits. Then she cuts the
  38. 1:40same pattern out of linen, and then
  39. 1:42velvet, and then a floral cotton. The
  40. 1:45customer sees five completely different
  41. 1:47dresses, but the dressmaker only solved
  42. 1:51the hard part once. Your winning design
  43. 1:54is the pattern.
  44. 1:55The theme is your fabric. Okay, so let
  45. 1:58me show you the process I use and in the
  46. 2:01order I use it. So your first step is to
  47. 2:03start with a design that's already been
  48. 2:05earning. So start with your best-selling
  49. 2:08design and work from that. So here you
  50. 2:11see one of my best-selling invitation
  51. 2:13designs and I'm going to show you how I
  52. 2:15would create a new design based off of
  53. 2:18this that saved me so much time.
  54. 2:21So I keep the design layout the style
  55. 2:24because I know that this works. It was a
  56. 2:26best-selling design and every time that
  57. 2:28I've duplicated it it converts. So all
  58. 2:31I'm going to do is I'm going to just
  59. 2:33duplicate the file
  60. 2:35and then I'm going to remove all of the
  61. 2:38elements for this theme
  62. 2:41because I'm going to be starting fresh.
  63. 2:44And so for this one I'm going to be
  64. 2:46doing a
  65. 2:48one sweet peach
  66. 2:50invitation design. So I've already
  67. 2:53loaded my graphics that I'm going to be
  68. 2:54using right here.
  69. 2:56So I'm just going to go over and change
  70. 2:59my background just like that.
  71. 3:01And then I'm going to change some
  72. 3:02colors. So the outline I'm going to
  73. 3:04match to the background a little bit
  74. 3:06better.
  75. 3:08Maybe something like that.
  76. 3:11And then I'm going to use just a girl's
  77. 3:13name. Okay, so then I'm just going to
  78. 3:15change the text to match my theme. So I
  79. 3:18like this font for this theme so I'm not
  80. 3:20going to actually change it but I do
  81. 3:22change it frequently depending on the
  82. 3:24design. So I'm going to say Olivia is
  83. 3:26one
  84. 3:28sweet oops
  85. 3:31sweet
  86. 3:33peach.
  87. 3:37Like that. I'm just going to change the
  88. 3:39name here so that it matches.
  89. 3:43Okay, and then I'm going to bring in
  90. 3:45some of my graphics. So instead of the
  91. 3:47wood that we had here I'm going to bring
  92. 3:49in this peach that I have already
  93. 3:52loaded. And I just got these graphics
  94. 3:54off of Etsy itself. I like to buy my
  95. 3:57graphics there if I can.
  96. 3:59I'm just going to bring this to the
  97. 4:00front so that it covers that one.
  98. 4:04And maybe just give it a little bit of a
  99. 4:07turn.
  100. 4:09It fit just a little bit better. You
  101. 4:12could remove the one as well if you
  102. 4:14wanted to, but
  103. 4:16>> [music]
  104. 4:16>> I'm just going to cover it for this one.
  105. 4:20Just going to move my name up a little
  106. 4:22bit. Okay.
  107. 4:24And then I'm going to bring my other
  108. 4:26graphics in. I'm just going to add this
  109. 4:28cute little peach cobbler cake
  110. 4:33down in the left corner.
  111. 4:36Make it just a little bit bigger.
  112. 4:39And then I'm going to add my other
  113. 4:40graphic, which is just these cute little
  114. 4:42peaches.
  115. 4:45And I'm going to put that over in this
  116. 4:47corner.
  117. 4:49Let me give it a little bit of a turn.
  118. 4:51And then I just want to go ahead and
  119. 4:52change my text color cuz it doesn't look
  120. 4:55too great to me with the brown, so I'm
  121. 4:58going to try and keep it in the theme.
  122. 5:00So, I'm going to try and match
  123. 5:02the colors that I'm already using. That
  124. 5:05looks a little bit light to me. I think
  125. 5:07I'm going to go just a little bit
  126. 5:08darker.
  127. 5:09There we go. Okay. Change all of my text
  128. 5:13in here to match.
  129. 5:16Uh I can probably do this faster by just
  130. 5:20There we go.
  131. 5:23And we can just change these bars.
  132. 5:27There we go. Okay, and I just want to
  133. 5:29change the one. I think I want it to
  134. 5:30stand out a little bit more, so I'm just
  135. 5:33going to change it to
  136. 5:35a more orangey peachy color. I like that
  137. 5:38one. There we go. Okay. So, that took me
  138. 5:41what? Maybe 3 minutes to make an
  139. 5:44entirely new design. Now, we're always
  140. 5:46making sure that the the designs that we
  141. 5:48are making are backed by research, so
  142. 5:50we've gone and we've looked for trending
  143. 5:53themes that are coming up. We've looked
  144. 5:55at our EverBee or eRank tool, and we
  145. 5:58know that there is search volume for it
  146. 6:01and not an overwhelming amount of
  147. 6:03competition here.
  148. 6:04So, I just want to take a look and show
  149. 6:06you I have loaded already 10 of my
  150. 6:08designs now. So, all using the same
  151. 6:12layout, the same style, and these have
  152. 6:14all converted in my shop. So, I take the
  153. 6:16base look from this one, and you just
  154. 6:18watched me create this one.
  155. 6:21And then it can create another one in
  156. 6:23another theme. You can see I changed the
  157. 6:24font here. I changed the layout
  158. 6:26slightly, but overall it's the same.
  159. 6:30And again down here.
  160. 6:33And it just keeps going. Some small
  161. 6:35tweaks here and there to try and test to
  162. 6:37see what's going to convert. This one
  163. 6:39did very well for me.
  164. 6:41This is another one. These all converted
  165. 6:43really well, actually.
  166. 6:46And there you see it. So, now we have 10
  167. 6:48designs that we could have made in maybe
  168. 6:5120 to 30 minutes if we knew the themes
  169. 6:53and the graphics that we were going to
  170. 6:54use and just tweaking the layout
  171. 6:56slightly.
  172. 6:58So,
  173. 6:59now I'm going to show you exactly how to
  174. 7:01list these on your Etsy shop
  175. 7:04really quickly. Okay, so now I want to
  176. 7:06show you the part that usually kills
  177. 7:08this whole idea, and that's the listing
  178. 7:11work. Once you have 10 designs, you
  179. 7:13still need to move them into Etsy. 10
  180. 7:15listings, 10 titles, 10 set of tags, 10
  181. 7:18descriptions, photos, mock-ups, all of
  182. 7:21it. And that can take most of your day.
  183. 7:24But I'm going to show you how you can do
  184. 7:25it in just a matter of minutes. And I
  185. 7:28use Anywhere Digital for that. You can
  186. 7:31batch upload your digital listings
  187. 7:33together and load them all at once. And
  188. 7:36I'm going to show you how. If you want
  189. 7:37to follow along with your own designs,
  190. 7:39my link for Anywhere Digital is in the
  191. 7:41description. Okay, so once you've signed
  192. 7:43up for Anywhere Digital, you're going to
  193. 7:44come over here into your account. And a
  194. 7:47few settings that you're going to want
  195. 7:48to quickly set up first is your delivery
  196. 7:51settings.
  197. 7:52Here you'll see that Anywhere Digital is
  198. 7:54going to bring in automatically your
  199. 7:57shop logo and your branding colors. And
  200. 7:59it's going to send with every digital
  201. 8:01sale that you make your own branded PDF
  202. 8:05with the download. So, if you want to
  203. 8:07change anything, you can go in here. You
  204. 8:08can change your logo. You can change
  205. 8:11what it says. You can change
  206. 8:13>> [music]
  207. 8:14>> your colors. You can add your thank you
  208. 8:17message, show your download
  209. 8:19instructions. You can add a coupon.
  210. 8:23You can add your social media links. And
  211. 8:25my favorite part is that you can
  212. 8:27actually add your email capture right in
  213. 8:30the thank you, which is amazing. I think
  214. 8:33everybody should be collecting all their
  215. 8:35customers emails right from the
  216. 8:37beginning.
  217. 8:38And so, once you have that all set up,
  218. 8:40you just save it, and that's a one-time
  219. 8:43thing. You set it up once, and then you
  220. 8:44forget about it.
  221. 8:46And then over here on the left, you're
  222. 8:47going to want to add your mock-ups.
  223. 8:49Okay, so you're going to make your
  224. 8:50invitation collection, and you're going
  225. 8:52to bring in all of your invitation
  226. 8:54mock-ups, and you're going to upload
  227. 8:56them here. And you're going to see why
  228. 8:57in a second. I just have the one, but
  229. 9:00you can add multiple, and just keep them
  230. 9:02in your collection. Okay, so we're going
  231. 9:04to go over to digital listing.
  232. 9:07And the fastest way to do this for a
  233. 9:08bulk upload is to use the AI assistant.
  234. 9:11So, I'm just going to hit AI assistant.
  235. 9:14I'm just going to hit add from Canva,
  236. 9:16because all of my listings were created
  237. 9:18in Canva. You can also download them as
  238. 9:21a PNG file if you're creating somewhere
  239. 9:23else, or don't want to connect your
  240. 9:25Canva account for some reason, you can
  241. 9:27do that there. But, for the sake of
  242. 9:29simplicity, I'm just going to hit add
  243. 9:31from Canva.
  244. 9:32And this is the I know this is the one I
  245. 9:34want. So, [music] now there's two
  246. 9:37options here. You can download as as a
  247. 9:39PNG, or as editable text layers. What I
  248. 9:43have found is that if I do something
  249. 9:45that I want personalized, and click
  250. 9:47editable layers,
  251. 9:49it doesn't always have all the fonts
  252. 9:51that I've used in Canva. And when that
  253. 9:53happens, it will automatically change
  254. 9:56the font. So, the work-around that I
  255. 9:58discovered was that if I upload them as
  256. 10:00a PNG, the AI still allows it to be
  257. 10:03personalized, and it doesn't change the
  258. 10:05font. So, I can use any of the fonts
  259. 10:07from Canva, or any of the ones that I've
  260. 10:09personally uploaded and nothing gets
  261. 10:11changed.
  262. 10:13So, I'm going to click PNG. I don't want
  263. 10:16a transparent background. I'm just going
  264. 10:18to select all 10 designs here.
  265. 10:21And then I'm going to hit continue.
  266. 10:26Okay, so I've got all of my files ready
  267. 10:28here. And then I've got my AI prompt. I
  268. 10:31have it already ready for here. So, all
  269. 10:33I put was group these files into
  270. 10:36separate digital listings, make the text
  271. 10:38personalized, also prepare a listing
  272. 10:41title and description for each product,
  273. 10:44and prepare Etsy tags. Focus the content
  274. 10:47on the design niche and intended buyer.
  275. 10:50Place the artwork on my invitation
  276. 10:52mockups. Each listing should be priced
  277. 10:55at $7. Set the listing category to
  278. 10:58invitation templates.
  279. 11:00And if you're struggling with the
  280. 11:02prompt, they do have this really handy
  281. 11:04prompt guide up here in the corner that
  282. 11:06you can just click on. And it'll bring
  283. 11:08you to another page where it gives you
  284. 11:09all kinds of information on how to make
  285. 11:11your prompts work for you, which is
  286. 11:13really handy. Okay, so once I have it
  287. 11:15there, I'm just going to hit
  288. 11:17>> [music]
  289. 11:17>> send.
  290. 11:18And we're going to wait for it to do its
  291. 11:20absolute magic.
  292. 11:23Okay, and then here we have it. As you
  293. 11:25can see it, it has
  294. 11:27given me the preview for all 10 listings
  295. 11:30that I can review. I can push it
  296. 11:33directly to Etsy as a draft if I want it
  297. 11:35to, but I don't want to do that. I want
  298. 11:37to hit create digital listings cuz I'm
  299. 11:39going to build them inside anywhere
  300. 11:41digital. Okay, and literally in seconds
  301. 11:43they are all here and I have the option
  302. 11:45to look at each one individually or I
  303. 11:48can click view all listings to see if
  304. 11:51they've come through and they all come
  305. 11:52up right here.
  306. 11:54Okay, so I'm just going to go into the
  307. 11:56first one.
  308. 11:58And you will see. Okay, so you can see
  309. 12:00here that it has brought in our listing
  310. 12:03and it has added our title, our
  311. 12:05description, our tags. Now, I never
  312. 12:09suggest you rely on AI to just blindly
  313. 12:11do your titles, your descriptions, or
  314. 12:13your tags. So, make sure you're going in
  315. 12:15and checking that those are strong
  316. 12:18keywords that are going to help you get
  317. 12:20found in the search.
  318. 12:21If we look over here, it's automatically
  319. 12:23added the invitation design to my
  320. 12:26mock-up. You can generate more mock-ups
  321. 12:29within the system by clicking this
  322. 12:30button here. Or if you've already
  323. 12:32uploaded multiple of your mock-ups, it
  324. 12:34will do the same thing on multiple
  325. 12:36images. You also have the option to
  326. 12:38generate a video, which is fantastic. If
  327. 12:41you hit configure Etsy personalization,
  328. 12:44you will see here all of the different
  329. 12:45settings that it is automatically
  330. 12:47populated based on what information
  331. 12:50needs to be put on the invitation
  332. 12:51design. And then if we go down here, we
  333. 12:54can see that it has chosen the Etsy
  334. 12:56category just like we had asked it to.
  335. 12:58We can go ahead and put in our
  336. 13:00attributes and our shop section.
  337. 13:04It's priced it at $7 like we told it to.
  338. 13:07It's added the file, the personalization
  339. 13:09file.
  340. 13:11Now, it also gives us an option to add a
  341. 13:12link. So, if you want to also offer your
  342. 13:15customer the option to edit with a Canva
  343. 13:18template link, you can add that as well.
  344. 13:21And then here we have buyer preview. So,
  345. 13:23if we click enable or make sure that
  346. 13:25it's on, it's going to give you this
  347. 13:27handy link right here. And this link
  348. 13:29you're going to copy and paste and put
  349. 13:31it into your description. And this is
  350. 13:34going to allow your customer to see the
  351. 13:36preview of the item. So,
  352. 13:39if I just copy it, I will show you in a
  353. 13:41new window. Okay, so it brings up the
  354. 13:43invitation and you can see here we can
  355. 13:45put in our child's name. So, I'm just
  356. 13:48going to put Emma.
  357. 13:51And the age, I will do
  358. 13:54third.
  359. 13:57The event date, let's do November
  360. 14:0015th.
  361. 14:032026.
  362. 14:05And the day, let's change it to
  363. 14:07Saturday. Just to make sure it changes.
  364. 14:12The event time, I'll do 4:00 p.m. Event
  365. 14:14address, let's just do 1 2 3 Yes Street,
  366. 14:20New
  367. 14:21York.
  368. 14:23Okay, and then the RSVP contact, we'll
  369. 14:25just put 555.
  370. 14:28Okay, and then hit generate preview.
  371. 14:31And there we can see that the AI has
  372. 14:33gone in and made all of the changes that
  373. 14:36we asked it to, and this is exactly what
  374. 14:38your customer will get to look at and
  375. 14:41exactly how they're going to go about
  376. 14:42customizing it for themselves.
  377. 14:45So, moving back over into Anywhere
  378. 14:47Digital, once this is all done, there's
  379. 14:49one more really important aspect that I
  380. 14:51want to show you.
  381. 14:53You can actually add recommended
  382. 14:55listings for your customer. So, in my
  383. 14:58shop, I would sell the invitation, and
  384. 15:01then I would sell the whole bundle, and
  385. 15:03I would also sell the print-on-demand
  386. 15:05tapestry. And that's how I really scaled
  387. 15:07my business quickly. So, if you have
  388. 15:10items related in your shop that you want
  389. 15:12your customer to see, you can go right
  390. 15:14in here to recommended listings,
  391. 15:18and we just hit edit,
  392. 15:19and you can add the listings that you
  393. 15:22want to show your customer as soon as
  394. 15:23they've made a purchase. So, you can
  395. 15:25either go and search them through your
  396. 15:27Etsy listings, or you can manually add.
  397. 15:30So, you just copy and paste your URL
  398. 15:33>> [music]
  399. 15:33>> right here,
  400. 15:35and it will add your listing right
  401. 15:37there. And then it will add your
  402. 15:39listing, so your customer sees the
  403. 15:41matching items as soon as they made
  404. 15:43their purchase. It's a fantastic way to
  405. 15:46really increase that average order
  406. 15:48value. Okay, and then once we're all
  407. 15:51done, we can just go up here and we just
  408. 15:52simply click push to Etsy, and it's
  409. 15:55going to be live in your Etsy shop
  410. 15:57immediately. So, that's 10 listings from
  411. 16:00one design in one sitting, all created
  412. 16:04and batch listed to your Etsy shop. And
  413. 16:07notice what that just did for the
  414. 16:08learning side. 10 listings are now live.
  415. 16:11So, within a few weeks, Etsy and your
  416. 16:13shop stats are going to tell you exactly
  417. 16:16what themes your customer is going to
  418. 16:18reach for. You don't have to guess. You
  419. 16:20can lean into the winners and make more
  420. 16:24of what works and quietly retire the
  421. 16:27ones that don't. For a long time, I
  422. 16:30thought growing a shop meant coming up
  423. 16:32with new ideas. It doesn't. It's about
  424. 16:35finding the one thing buyers have
  425. 16:38already said yes to and giving them more
  426. 16:41of it. The design is the pattern. The
  427. 16:44theme is the fabric. Get the pattern
  428. 16:47right once and you can make as many
  429. 16:49dresses as there are people looking for
  430. 16:52one. If you want to see more about my
  431. 16:54exact design process in Canva, you can
  432. 16:57find my full walk-through from this
  433. 16:59video right here.
  434. 17:01>> [music]
  435. 17:01>> The anywhere digital link is in the
  436. 17:03description. I'll see you in the next
  437. 17:05one.
