0:05Avengers: Doomsday for you to enjoy it
0:08even more than you did Endgame, which is
0:10right where our story begins. With
0:12Captain America returning the Infinity
0:14Stones to their specific points in time
0:17but staying in 1949 with his wife Peggy,
0:20resulting in the timeline splitting in
0:22two. [music]
0:22One being the timeline we're familiar
0:24with where he was stuck in ice after the
0:27events of Captain America: The First
0:28Avenger and let through all the events
0:31of the [music] MCU. And another where he
0:33never got frozen, lived with Peggy, got
0:36old, and risked the stability of the
0:38multiverse in [music] the process. But
0:40we'll talk about that other timeline at
0:42the end because meanwhile in the main
0:44timeline, a depressed Wanda Maximoff was
0:47brainwashing an entire town in New
0:49Jersey [music] where she used her powers
0:51to give life to two superpowered kids
0:53called Tommy and Billy that would
0:55temporarily cease to exist after the
0:58illusion [music] went down and revive
1:00her dead robot Vision for him to turn
1:02white and escape to have his own show.
1:05Six months later up in Washington, we're
1:07introduced [music] to Joaquin Torres, a
1:09tech-savvy military friend of Sam who
1:11would later don the mantle of Falcon,
1:13[music] Isaiah Bradley, the first
1:15African-American super soldier, and John
1:18Walker, a near-perfect soldier who
1:20became [music] Captain America but then
1:22lost the title in a week after taking a
1:24modified super soldier serum and killing
1:27a man in the middle of the street. But
1:28don't worry, he'll be back in a few
1:30[music] years. Meanwhile, Sam Wilson
1:32would be established as the new
1:34serumless Captain America and Bucky
1:36Barnes, well, he's still the best
1:38looking 106-year-old [music]
1:39man you'll ever see. Unless you're
1:41counting gods like Loki, whose story
1:44[music] took an unexpected turn after
1:46the 2012 version of himself, [music] so
1:49not the one whose neck got snapped in
1:51Infinity War, stole the Tesseract when
1:53the Avengers went back in time instead
1:55of being taken to [music] Asgard like he
1:57was supposed to. This resulted on the
1:59timeline branching [music] just like
2:01with Cap. This time, Loki ended up being
2:04captured by the Time Variance Authority,
2:07or TVA. A time police [music] that
2:09exists beyond space and time that
2:12prevents the main sequence of events
2:14[music] we're familiar with that for
2:16simplicity reasons we'll call the main
2:18timeline from branching [music] off into
2:20other timelines due to unplanned changes
2:22to the flow of time by deleting or as
2:25they call it, pruning the branch and all
2:28of its contents into a [music] place
2:29called the void. Remember this place.
2:32After meeting Mobius, a TVA analyst and
2:34investigator with a very particular
2:37name,
2:37>> this time in the shape of a Mobius strip
2:40inverted,
2:41>> Loki began a journey [music] with a
2:43variant of himself from another timeline
2:46called Sylvie, whose goal was to kill
2:48the creator of the TVA. But when she
2:50eventually [music]
2:51succeeded on her task, she unleashed a
2:53mysterious series of events that caused
2:56the main timeline to branch into an
2:58infinite amount of uncharted realities
3:01that at a rate that was putting at risk
3:02the stability [music] of the whole
3:04multiverse. Thankfully, an now fully
3:06empathetic and heroic [music] Loki
3:08attempting to stabilize the branches got
3:11help from Mobius, B-15, Sylvie, [music]
3:13and engineer OB, short for Ouroboros, to
3:16step into the temporal loom, a machine
3:19that used to process raw [music] time
3:21energy and grab onto every branching
3:24timeline to stabilize them, becoming the
3:26guardian of all time [music] and opening
3:28the doors to what we know as the
3:30multiverse, which we'll dive into in
3:32[music] just a sec. But first, a quick
3:34trip to 2016 to meet Natasha's funny ass
3:37step sister Yelena
3:38>> big potato stuff.
3:40>> And their super soldier stepfather
3:42Alexei {slash} Red Guardian {slash}
3:45Russian Captain America, both of which
3:47we'll talk more [music] about in
3:48Thunderbolts. Back in the present, we
3:50met Chinese warrior Shang-Chi, his
3:52sister, Xu Xialing, and his friend,
3:54[music] Katy. That after visiting
3:56another dimension inhabited by warriors
3:58and mythical [music] creatures called
4:01an evil dragon, Shang Chi forcefully
4:04inherited his father's 10 cool-ass
4:06mystical power rings that are revealed
4:08[music] to be pulsing a signal that is
4:10yet to serve a purpose to the story.
4:12Something that would also be true about
4:14Eternals if it wasn't for Tiamut, a
4:16member of a group of colossal beings
4:19called Celestials, who, thanks to the
4:21Eternals, 10 god-like synthetic beings
4:24with superpowers who I can never
4:26remember the names of, lays dead in the
4:28middle of the Indian Ocean as a giant
4:30[music] source of adamantium. The same
4:32metal laced in Wolverine's skeleton that
4:35is even tougher than the vibranium on
4:37Captain America's shield. But, we'll get
4:39to the X-Men later, since we first have
4:41to go back to New York. Because right
4:43after Spider-Man's secret identity was
4:45revealed to the world at the end of Far
4:47From Home, and Doctor Strange's spell to
4:49reverse the effect failed, villains from
4:51other Spider-Man movies/universes
4:54began slipping into the main timeline.
4:56[music] Thankfully, Peter 2 and Peter 3
4:59came along, too, to help Peter 1 cure
5:01all the villains before sending them
5:03back to their universes. Which,
5:05unfortunately, the Green Goblin didn't
5:07like, so he blew up the spell that was
5:09keeping the multiverse stable, forcing
5:12Peter 1 to fix it by making everyone on
5:15Earth forget who he was, including his
5:17best friend, girlfriend, and Aunt May.
5:19Wait, no, she's dead. Preventing every
5:21universe from colliding into each other
5:24for about a week. Because this was also
5:26around the time when the Scarlet Witch
5:28began missing her fake children, which
5:30led her to chase America Chavez, a girl
5:33with the ability to create portals
5:35between universes, to steal [music] her
5:37power and reunite with Billy and Tommy
5:39in a universe where they do exist,
5:41because moms, I guess. Throughout this
5:44story, we learn that the main MCU
5:46timeline has been documented as
5:48Earth-616,
5:50that although Wanda is as powerful as
5:52she's ever been, the movie ends with her
5:54seemingly being crushed by Mount
5:56Wundagore in Eastern Europe, and that
5:58incursions, not to be confused with
6:01branching timelines, [music]
6:02are events where the barrier between two
6:05universes is broken, [music] resulting
6:07in the physical collision between the
6:09Earth's within those universes. This can
6:12occur due to unregulated or prolonged
6:15multiversal travel and manipulation,
6:17such as what happens all throughout this
6:19movie, at the end of No Way Home, and
6:22maybe even something related to
6:24Dormammu's knees in the dark dimension.
6:26I know, weird stuff. Not as weird as
6:28what happens in Thor: Love and Thunder,
6:30that follows a goofier Thor and a sick
6:33Jane Foster, Thor's former lover, who
6:35wields a somewhat fixed Mjolnir [music]
6:37to prevent cancer from killing her on
6:40their journey to defeat Gorr, the God
6:42Butcher, who, with the help of the
6:44Necro- Sword, [music] managed to reach
6:46Eternity, a cosmic entity that granted
6:49him the wish of saving his dead daughter
6:51Love. Unfortunately, Jane Foster and
6:53Gorr went to sleep forever, so Thor took
6:56the God [music] Butcher's daughter and
6:58raised her as a laser-eyed powerful
7:00warrior, so they could become the power
7:02couple Love and Thunder.
7:04Oh, so that's why the movie's called
7:06that. Meanwhile, back on Earth,
7:07following the death of T'Challa due to

7:32new Black Panther. Who ended up forging
7:35an alliance with Namor, ensuring peace
7:37between Wakanda and Talokan, marking the
7:39end of Phase Four and the start of phase
7:43five [clears throat]
7:43that begins with Ant-Man Quantumania. A
7:46movie whose sole purpose was to [music]
7:48add Scott's daughter Cassie to the Ant
7:50family because the film sucks and future
7:52plans were canceled, which would also be
7:54true about The Marvels if the ending
7:56didn't have Monica Rambeau, who we saw
7:58as a little girl in Captain Marvel and
8:01was given powers by Wanda's spell back
8:03in New Jersey closing a tear in
8:05space-time that almost caused an
8:07incursion and resulted in Monica ending
8:10up in another universe [music] where
8:11beasts from the X-Men exist. Oh, and now

8:49touches explosive and has a minion as a
8:51dialect coach.

8:57ketchup and mustard are harder to kill
8:59than a couple of flying cockroaches,
9:01this movie showed a new TVA that watches

9:38Universe, tells the story of people who

9:50electromagnetic fields, both of which
9:52develop a rivalry between each other due
9:54to their ways of solving mutantkind's
9:56biggest problem. Much like a minority,
9:59they struggle to fit in. So, while
10:01[music] Charles founded a school to
10:02teach mutants how to use their powers
10:04for good, like Cyclops [music] who can
10:06shoot blasts from his eyes, Nightcrawler
10:08who can teleport, and Beast who's like a
10:10gorilla on steroids, Magneto, together
10:12with shapeshifter Mystique, instead
10:14strove for mutant supremacy, sometimes
10:17even humankind [music] extinction. And
10:19yet, both sides share Sentinels as a
10:22common enemy, huge robots designed to
10:24target and exterminate all of
10:26mutantkind. Which brings us to the last
10:29and most important movies for Doomsday,
10:31starting with Captain America: Brave New
10:32World that introduce an Israeli black
10:35widow, brought back big-brained
10:36scientist Samuel Sterns from 2008's
10:39Hulk, now known as the Leader, who's
10:41currently imprisoned [music] for
10:42brainwashing Red Hulk into destroying
10:45the White House, and somehow knows about
10:47incursions, "It's coming. All you heroes
10:50protecting this world, do you think this
10:52is the only world? We'll see what
10:54happens when you have to protect this
10:56place from the others." And tease the
10:58creation of a new Avengers team that
11:01didn't take long to literally sue the
11:03other new Avengers team, formerly the
11:06Thunderbolts, a group indirectly created
11:08by former CIA director Valentina, that
11:11includes their leader Yelena, Ghost from
11:14Ant-Man and the Wasp, super soldier John
11:16Walker who's got a tackle for a shield
11:18because of this, the Red Guardian and
11:20Bucky Barnes, and Bob, also known as
11:23Sentry, a Superman-type character who
11:26has the power of a thousand exploding
11:28suns, whatever that means. But despite
11:30being able to literally manipulate
11:32matter, his biggest weakness remains his
11:35dark side, [music] known as the Void, an
11:37alter ego of pure sadness, rage, and
11:39trauma, whose powers go beyond anything
11:42we've ever [music] seen before. Which is
11:44why I highly recommend watching
11:45Thunderbolts to get to know the
11:47characters and to watch the post-credit
11:49scene that connects directly with
11:51Fantastic Four: First Steps. [music]
11:53Wherein a completely different universe,
11:55we meet the Thing, the Human Torch, the
11:57Invisible Woman, and Mr. Fantastic.

12:00A superpowered family who, after
12:02protecting their cosmic-powered baby
12:04Franklin Richards from the
12:05planet-devourer Galactus, got a visit
12:08from an old friend, Victor von Doom, aka
12:12Doctor Doom, a powerful sorcerer that
12:15matches or even surpasses Doctor
12:17Strange's mystical abilities, whose
12:19story I won't get into since we'll
12:21probably see a unique origin in
12:23Doomsday. Just like we saw with
12:25Spider-Man's origin, who, after three
12:27movies of being written like a boy and
12:29four years after being forgotten by
12:31everyone on Earth, is now a 22-year-old
12:34man paying rent in the middle of
12:36Manhattan.
12:37>> Rent.
12:38>> Luckily for him, after getting help from
12:40Yelena to find and befriend Jean Grey, a
12:43powerful mutant and future X-Man, and
12:46surviving a snipe [music] from his
12:47grumpy ex-military friend Frank Castle,
12:50it appears Jean Grey used her [music]
12:52telepathic powers to give back the CEO
12:55and Zendaya their memories with Peter.
12:57Oh, and Miles Morales is probably coming
12:59to the MCU [music] soon. Yay. So, for
13:01now, all you need to know is that Doom
13:04is a force to be reckoned with, that
13:06incursions and the TVA are really
13:08important, and that beyond this point,
13:10I'll explain Avengers: Endgame on course
13:12post-credit [music] scenes with
13:14spoilers. So, you've been warned. The
13:17first scene picks up right after Steve
13:19returns to Peggy in 1949, and oh
13:22surprise, Loki's there. Which Loki? Most
13:26likely a projection from this Loki. But
13:28Cap doesn't know the Loki who's good and
13:31omnipotent. He knows the evil jester who
13:33died at the hands of Thanos. So, that's
13:36going to be pretty fun to watch. Now,
13:38what is Loki doing there? Well, since
13:40after Peggy asked, "Can I help you?" He
13:43responded with, "No, but I can help both
13:45of you." We can assume that he's there
13:48to warn them about the countless
13:49incursions we see happening on the next
13:52scene. Where we see Mobius, OB, and
13:54other TVA faces absolutely freaking out
13:58due to the thousands of universes
14:00colliding into each other. One of them
14:02being the X-Men universe we mentioned
14:04earlier. All because of Doctor Doom.
14:06Who's on a quest for absorbing the raw
14:08power from the most powerful beings on
14:10the universe. Which is what we see him
14:13doing with Banner [music] in the third
14:14scene. Who kept working on a mutation
14:17inhibitor underground to avoid any more
14:20Hulk problems. Only to get captured by
14:22Doom. A Doom that could be related to
14:25Tony Stark in a way that people [music]
14:26might not expect. Because at the end of
14:28the original Endgame film, we could hear
14:31Tony's hammer clanking as he was
14:33building the mask for the Mark 1.
14:39However, in the re-release, this same
14:41clanking sound is accompanied by shots
14:44of Doom forging his iconic mask. [music]
