- 0:00If I tell you that we achieved over 11% ROI
- 0:04for one of our clients this year, from January to September.
- 0:09I'm talking about ROI (ROI) (Return on Ad Spend), some people won't believe it
- 0:13. Some might doubt whether we can achieve such ROI in today's time
- 0:18? Yes, because it's self-evident that if you
- 0:22achieve ROI of 2.8 to 2.9, it's profitable. So, in today's video,
- 0:25I'll take you to the actual dashboard and show you whether we really
- 0:30achieved such ROI. Some people also think that increasing your budget
- 0:34increases sales, or ROI increases. But the real game is different. Increasing your budget
- 0:38won't just increase your sales. If your listing is strong
- 0:43, you can reach even more buyers through ads . But if
- 0:46your listings are weak, then no matter how much you increase your budget, your budget
- 0:51will only be consumed, but you won't get the return on ad spend. In today's video,
- 0:55I'll take you to the real Itz dashboard and show you how much ROS we've
- 1:00achieved and my approach to Itz ads. Before that,
- 1:03let me give you a brief introduction. For those who
- 1:07are visiting this channel for the first time, my name is Ankit Sharma, and I
- 1:12worked with Itz.com for almost four years, from 2020 to 2023. Currently, we're helping Itz sellers
- 1:16grow on Itz and solve their Itz or Poer-related queries. So,
- 1:20if you also want to grow on Itz or are facing
- 1:24any challenges or problems with your Itz or Poer, you can WhatsApp us on the number shown
- 1:29on the screen. Make sure you
- 1:32WhatsApp. Don't call directly. And my team will get in touch with you. Now,
- 1:35first, let me show you the ItSea Ads dashboard. For the client
- 1:39's shop I'm talking about,
- 1:43I'll take you to the dashboard and show you how much we spent, how much revenue was generated, and how much the revenue was.
- 1:48I hope you can see my screen. Click on ItSea Ads. We
- 1:53remove it from Today and select This Year.
- 2:01We've put This Year here. Now you can see our gross here
- 2:06is 11.59. From December to September, we have a stand of 2391. That's over 27,000
- 2:12revenue. And if you divide 27,000 by 1
- 2:18, you get 11.59. You can see the orders. You can see the clicks
- 2:24. You can see the views. I'll also show you the all-time stats for this shop
- 2:27. So after clicking on Stats here, I clicked on Shop Traffic
- 2:31. Here I select this year.
- 2:38And here you can see that from January to September we
- 2:45have achieved more than 3000 orders and hit a revenue of more than 1775000. Now
- 2:51let's talk about the first thing. It is possible that some people
- 2:56who are new sellers and have just entered this field may not understand
- 3:00the meaning of ROAS . I will explain it to you in very simple words. And ROAS
- 3:04means Return on Ad Spend, that is, if you invested ₹100 in an ad, then
- 3:09how much return did you get? If you put ₹100 in an ad and suppose you
- 3:14get ₹1000 as return then your revenue is 10, 1000 by 100 or if I
- 3:20explain it in a simpler way, if you advertise for ₹1 then how much revenue did you
- 3:24generate from it. Now many sellers think that it is C ads is some kind of magic
- 3:28where you just put some products, upload listings, upload photos,
- 3:32quickly write title etc and put up the ad quickly. And then they
- 3:36don't get orders. If orders don't come for 5 days, 7 days, 10, 15 days then they
- 3:40quickly go and close the ads because they feel that their cash is getting burnt and orders
- 3:44are not coming, so they quickly go and close the ads. So first of all you have to understand
- 3:47that if your listing itself is not proper then the buyer will come to
- 3:51your product through ads but he will not convert. That is why if you
- 3:54want conversion from It's ad then you have to take care of some basic things. The
- 3:58first point in which is the title of your product. So here you have to make sure that
- 4:02you do not stuff keywords in your title. It
- 4:07is not necessary that the title should be of full 140 characters because It's gives you the option that whatever
- 4:11title you write, you can write a title of up to 140 characters. But right now
- 4:15In 2026, the SEO update regarding titles is the best
- 4:20practice: keep the title short and simple.
- 4:25Avoid using all capital letters. This is the biggest mistake sellers make. And
- 4:30by short, I mean a
- 4:35title of 50 to 60 or 70 words—sorry, a title of 50 to 60 words is best.
- 4:41Don't go any further than that, as writing a title longer
- 4:45will overcomplicate it. Consequently, buyers won't understand the product, so they
- 4:49won't buy from you. One important thing to keep in mind when creating a title
- 4:54is that your main keywords should be at the beginning. It's not necessary
- 4:59to put your main keywords at the end. Avoid this either
- 5:03. The second important thing is photos. Photos play
- 5:07a very important role here . When we go to the offline market, we
- 5:10can touch and see the product from all sides. But here, because we
- 5:15can't see the product by touching the photo, the photo should be clear. I also
- 5:20see some people putting a lot of watermark in the primary image or
- 5:24highlighting it by adding their logo, etc. But this shouldn't happen. Your product
- 5:28should be in focus. The primary image should be clear. And then,
- 5:31when the buyer clicks and goes inside, show the product from all four angles. Some people
- 5:35upload one or two photos and leave it at that. So, you shouldn't do that either.
- 5:39You should use at least five or four photos minimum, showing the product from every angle
- 5:45. Let's suppose you're selling a home decor item or
- 5:49a rug, the type of rug should be visible. It should be a zoom shot.
- 5:54How will that rug look in the room? If you upload an image like that, it
- 5:59should at least be a photo and a video. Next,
- 6:03which is very basic, is pricing strategy. Now, some sellers
- 6:06complain that they're getting clicks but not orders. So, it's
- 6:10important to review your pricing. Is your pricing
- 6:15too high? Basically, when a buyer searches, they
- 6:20see prices. You should maintain competitive pricing. I'm not
- 6:24saying you have to keep it cheap. If a product
- 6:28is selling for ₹5,000 and you're selling it for ₹10,000, that doesn't make any sense. If it
- 6:31's the same product and the same quality, the buyer will naturally purchase from a place where they
- 6:36get a lower price. So, I'm not suggesting you lower your prices or
- 6:40become the cheapest seller. You just need to keep your prices competitive. This
- 6:45is an important point: if you're getting clicks but not orders,
- 6:48you need to consider whether the price of your product might
- 6:53seem overpriced to buyers, or if you've
- 6:57set a price that's too high. Next, your shipping time matters a lot. Nowadays,
- 7:01you see delivery happening in 10 minutes, 20 minutes,
- 7:04and if your product is the first thing you're looking for, this isn't instant
- 7:09commerce. Buyers understand this, and it's a global marketplace.
- 7:14A US buyer might be ordering from India or the UK.
- 7:17They understand that delivery will obviously take time, depending on the product
- 7:21. If someone is ordering a made-to-order product, it's quite
- 7:26expensive. Maybe they're ordering a diamond ring
- 7:29, a custom ring, custom rugs, home decor
- 7:33items, or wooden products.
- 7:38The buyer understands that the product isn't going to be delivered in 10 minutes
- 7:42. But when analyzing your competition, you should try to
- 7:47avoid adding unnecessary extra time to the shipping time. If
- 7:52the product is in your category, for example, you make socks, rings, or
- 7:56maybe you make some wooden items, rugs, carpets, or whatever,
- 8:01consider the delivery time of your competitors in your category
- 8:05. It's impossible that they deliver the product in 10 days
- 8:08, while you deliver it in 20. That also
- 8:12matters a lot. So you have to see that your shipping time, delivery time
- 8:16That too should be accurate. By now, we've completely prepared the listing.
- 8:20Whatever basic points I've mentioned, obviously, you
- 8:24'll do text-based SEO. You know, proper descriptions, keywords, etc. We've already discussed the title.
- 8:28Now that we've prepared the listing properly,
- 8:32what should our approach be? Which listings should we run ads on? Which listings should we keep
- 8:36? With what budget should we run ads? For how many days should we run them initially?
- 8:41So, let's discuss all of this. My approach to this shop, which
- 8:45I've described to you, is that first, you need to consider your budget
- 8:50for HC ads. Some people may have a budget of $ per day, while others
- 8:54may not have that much. So, here I'll talk to sellers who
- 8:58don't have a large budget and want to gradually become profitable. Gradually, you need
- 9:01to increase your revenue. So, first of all, you need to consider your budget. If you
- 9:04ask me, "What's an ideal budget?" You can start with $3 to $5
- 9:08if you're on a tight budget. Otherwise, you can start with $1
- 9:12, but it's recommended to start with $3 to $5. After that, assuming
- 9:16you've created a shop and worked organically, you'll have
- 9:20data to look at, like which listings are getting favorites, which ones are
- 9:24getting views and visits, and which ones aren't getting any views and visits at all.
- 9:28So, when you're selecting a budget, try to see
- 9:32if you've worked organically. You have a good amount of data.
- 9:36Based on that data, select your listings in AdC Ads, choosing
- 9:40the ones you want to promote initially. If
- 9:44you initially set up a shop, worked for 10, 15, or 20 days, listed 40-50 products,
- 9:49and then started running ads, you could experiment. You could test
- 9:52by initially promoting all the listings and seeing which ones are the most popular.
- 9:56You also need to keep in mind that the ads you're running should continue running for a month
- 10:00. It's not like you ran an ad today and your budget isn't that much. Your budget is $3,
- 10:05and you ran your ad for $30, and then, after five or seven days,
- 10:10you don't get an order, so you have to stop. Whatever ad you ran, whatever campaign
- 10:14you selected, that is, whatever budget, whatever listings, etc., you put in it,
- 10:17you shouldn't touch it at all for 30 days. So, consider that if you've
- 10:22done some organic work before, you have the data, so just promote those listings
- 10:25. If you want quick results, then
- 10:29push those listings that are already performing organically through ads. Or,
- 10:33you need to push all the products and then
- 10:37analyze which of my listings are working and which aren't.
- 10:41If you want to start ads quickly, you've created your shop, added products, and are quickly
- 10:45starting ads, you can promote all the products. These
- 10:48ads are for testing products and experimenting,
- 10:52so you can figure out which products will work in your shop. So, now you've
- 10:56started your AC. Continue for 30 days. After 30 days,
- 11:01analyze your data to see which products got a response and which
- 11:05didn't. Those that didn't get a response and you feel there's
- 11:09no room for improvement. So, remove them from the list. If
- 11:12you feel like we need to improve it and see how it works, then
- 11:16make those changes and push it back. And if you ran an ad and
- 11:22realized, "I ran ads for 50 products, and now I've discovered
- 11:26that I have 15 to 20 products that are performing well, and I
- 11:30need to remove all those listings. No improvement can be made on them right now.
- 11:34I've set the best pricing. I've put them competitive. The photos are great,
- 11:39but they still haven't received a response. It's possible that demand for that product
- 11:42is low. So, you can remove them, and then let the remaining products
- 11:46continue to run through ads. Over time, it's unlikely that
- 11:50you'll become profitable in a month or two.
- 11:54If the product is very demanding, you might achieve that much revenue, but keep things in mind.
- 11:57Building a business really takes time. If you've launched a
- 12:01unique product that's in high demand, and it's in demand, but no one's selling it,
- 12:05that's fine. That's a different scenario. But you'll
- 12:09need to put in some time. Gradually, you'll become profitable. The important thing here
- 12:13is to make sure you
- 12:18analyze the results of your Etsy ads, the statistics you generate. Sellers complain about
- 12:22not getting orders, not using their budget, and
- 12:25not reading the data generated by Etsy ads. Etsy provides the data
- 12:28to read so you can understand where you're making mistakes.
- 12:31Sellers say they're getting clicks, but they're not getting orders. This
- 12:34should indicate a problem with your product's pricing or shipping times
- 12:38. Check the shipping times. Look at the photos to see if
- 12:43there's a problem with them. You need to read the data this way. Some people
- 12:46don't get clicks at all. Then, you need to check if there
- 12:49's a problem with your primary photo. Because the primary photo appears in search results.
- 12:52If there's a problem with it, people won't click. If they don't click,
- 12:55your budget isn't consumed. So, you need to read that data. So, I hope you've understood
- 12:59a little about it through this video. I've
- 13:03made a video before. You can watch that video as well. So, if I were
- 13:06to summarize this entire video, my final point would be that just because you
- 13:11run ads, orders won't come automatically. You have to work.
- 13:15You have to invest time. If your product is in demand, if you're
- 13:19investing time, reading data, and doing good SEO, then
- 13:23things will work out for you. Patience is also very important. You
- 13:28might have run an ad today and you might not get results for a month or two, but you have to be patient
- 13:32because you are out to build a business on IT. Right? And if a business
- 13:36is built in a month or two or three months, then everyone will come to IT and open a store
- 13:41and start. So, you have to be patient there, as a businessman has
- 13:44to build a business. It takes 6 months to a year. So, be a little patient,
- 13:48work hard and you will definitely get the results. So I hope you liked the video
- 13:53. If you liked it, then make sure you like it. Subscribe to the channel. See you
- 13:58in the next video. Till then, take care and bye-bye.
