- 0:02How I get to work.
- 0:04Hi.
- 0:05I'm Juan. I'm a software engineer and I
- 0:07want to tell you about how my family and
- 0:09I get to work and school. Usually, I
- 0:12work from home, but once a week I go to
- 0:14the office.
- 0:15I usually go on Wednesdays. On
- 0:17Wednesdays, I wake up early at 6:00.
- 0:20Then I get dressed and leave home at a
- 0:22quarter to 7:00. My commute takes about
- 0:241 hour because of traffic, so I get to
- 0:26work at 8:00.
- 0:28I have lunch at half past 12:00. I
- 0:30usually walk to a restaurant. I leave
- 0:33the restaurant at a quarter past 1:00
- 0:35and return to work at half past 1:00. I
- 0:37leave work at 5:00 and drive home. I get
- 0:40home around 6:00. Then I ride my bicycle
- 0:43in the park. I also have three kids. My
- 0:46kids take the bus to school.
- 0:48They leave home at half past 6:00 and
- 0:50get home at a quarter past 4:00.
- 0:52My wife takes the train to work. She
- 0:55leaves home at 5:00 and gets home at
- 0:57half past 3:00. On the weekends, I
- 0:59usually drive my family, but sometimes
- 1:01my wife and I take a taxi if we go out
- 1:03for drinks with friends.
