  1. 0:14Let's get started. The first thing we
  2. 0:17want to do is take a look at our landing
  3. 0:20page. Of course, it is on hubmeta.com.
  4. 0:23When you come here, it explains how long
  5. 0:26we have been working, how many
  6. 0:28researchers are using it, how many
  7. 0:31universities, and these are all numbers
  8. 0:33that we are very proud of. And hubmeta
  9. 0:36is a platform that was built by
  10. 0:37contributions from all of our great
  11. 0:40network of researchers. Here, we explain
  12. 0:43the main pipeline of how things work in
  13. 0:45the new platform, which we will go
  14. 0:47through one by one. And then, of course,
  15. 0:50I want to show you our pricing strategy.
  16. 0:54With this one, hubmeta is a free
  17. 0:56platform, and this comes with an
  18. 0:59asterisk. What that means is that all
  19. 1:02the features, all the key features of
  20. 1:05hubmeta are offered to you for free. The
  21. 1:09only part that you have to pay for are
  22. 1:11where we have to use AI, and that is
  23. 1:16where we have to pay external API
  24. 1:18providers, and you basically pay at cost
  25. 1:22what we are paying them. And what we are
  26. 1:25hoping is that in the future
  27. 1:28the cost of AI inference from all of
  28. 1:31these big provider platforms will go
  29. 1:34down, and when that happens, we will be
  30. 1:36able to bring down all the cost, too.
  31. 1:39So, no subscriptions, no lock-in with
  32. 1:43hubmeta. You only pay for the features,
  33. 1:46for the usage that you have on the
  34. 1:49platform.
  35. 1:51Let's start with
  36. 1:53creating our account, or if you have
  37. 1:56one, just logging in, you can create
  38. 1:58one, or login using Google. If you
  39. 2:02create a new one, it will send you an
  40. 2:04email to to confirm. Please go ahead
  41. 2:06with those steps, but I'm going to
  42. 2:09assume that most of us who are watching
  43. 2:11this video are creating a new account,
  44. 2:15or have already created one.
  45. 2:18This first page is the the screen where
  46. 2:22you see all of your projects. Obviously,
  47. 2:25when you are new here, there is no
  48. 2:26projects going on here. Let me walk you
  49. 2:29through what on this page,
  50. 2:32then in the next video, we will create
  51. 2:35our first project and get started with
  52. 2:37it. Here, we have a sidebar, which is
  53. 2:40always present in any part of the
  54. 2:42project, any part of Hublo matter you
  55. 2:44are, and you can always close it to have
  56. 2:46a full screen. You have the projects
  57. 2:49tab, which shows all of your projects
  58. 2:51that you are part of here. If you are
  59. 2:53the owner of the project, meaning you
  60. 2:55have created the project, it will show
  61. 2:58your name as owner. If you have been
  62. 3:00invited to a project, meaning you are
  63. 3:03collaborating with someone, and they
  64. 3:05have invited you, and added you to their
  65. 3:07project, you are a collaborator of the
  66. 3:10project. Over here, you have the
  67. 3:12settings. These are the general settings
  68. 3:14of Hublo. These are not project
  69. 3:17specific. You have your profile
  70. 3:20settings, your name view, notification
  71. 3:22settings, changing your password,
  72. 3:25billing and credit. Here, it connects
  73. 3:28with our Stripe. If you ever want to get
  74. 3:31your invoices and whatnot, here you can
  75. 3:34clear the cache that we have stored on
  76. 3:37your browser. Just we might need this in
  77. 3:41some projects. And then, here is where
  78. 3:44you can connect it with your Dropbox,
  79. 3:46and this is mostly for our legacy users,
  80. 3:49which we will explain later. But just
  81. 3:51like you connected with the Dropbox in
  82. 3:53our legacy platform, you can connect
  83. 3:55with Dropbox here. On the left, this
  84. 3:57sign, which is a guide me, disappears
  85. 4:01everywhere on the platform on this
  86. 4:03left-hand side. If you click on it, it
  87. 4:07walks you through a tour and shows
  88. 4:10exactly what is done in this page as a
  89. 4:13complete guide on how things work in Hub
  90. 4:16meta. And then here we have a dark mode
  91. 4:19and night mode within every page within
  92. 4:22Hub meta, so you can use that if you
  93. 4:24prefer work in
  94. 4:26night mode. Let's create our very first
  95. 4:28project and then go ahead and go inside
  96. 4:31it. Click on new project, give it a nice
  97. 4:33name.
  98. 4:41Uh you can add a description, but when
  99. 4:43you create a project, it will appear
  100. 4:45here. And when you go inside it, it will
  101. 4:49bring you to the dashboard page of the
  102. 4:52project. We'll go through the dashboard
  103. 4:54in our next video.
