0:04man is a snare." And I hadn't anchored
0:06myself in the fear of the Lord. Yeah,
0:08you can be comfortable, but you won't
0:09change
0:18history. Would you open your Bibles to
0:20Galatians chapter
0:231?
0:25Um, today I want to minister to you
0:27about breaking the fear of man. As I
0:29mentioned yesterday, I want to help you
0:30with this. And I just want to give you a
0:32bit of a pre-warning. There will be some
0:33deliverance today. Uh in a meeting like
0:36VA, especially the 25th year
0:38anniversary, we can get rid of any demon
0:41um by the power of the name of Jesus
0:43that we that we want. And I love being
0:45here with Dr. Randy because I know he
0:46loves deliverance. I've been in some
0:48meetings where I feel like I'm the odd
0:50one out because I do deliverance. And I
0:52remember we were together in Amsterdam
0:53and I did a lot of deliverance there
0:54that night and I loved it because Dr.
0:56Andy is just loving. He's praying for
0:57everybody and so was Bill. Bill was
0:58there that day with us as well. And um
1:00sometimes I feel a bit awkward. I go
1:02into some scenarios and and I'm like
1:04we're going to pray and cast out demons
1:05and I feel like there's sometimes less
1:08receptivity to that in even free
1:10churches at times. But recently Amos and
1:13I were at a major Catholic convention in
1:15France and it was really cool. Demons
1:17came out everywhere and and they said
1:19that that was their favorite session.
1:21And so so so today um I always do
1:25deliverance also with a smile on my
1:26face. But I cannot stand deliverance
1:27ministry where it's like this, like you
1:29get out right now. Sometimes we think we
1:31outshout the devil. But the truth is we
1:33out truth the devil. You know, it's it's
1:34authority. It's not shouting. Uh you can
1:37you could whisper, you could go get out
1:38in Jesus' name. He he's terrified of
1:40light. He's terrified of holiness and
1:41he's terrified of the truth. You don't
1:43outshout demons. So just just be aware.
1:46I don't know about what happens in hell,
1:47but it feels like that maybe there's
1:48like a script they read that when they
1:50come onto the earth and possess people,
1:52they have this script they always say,
1:53"I'm not coming out." you know, they get
1:55taught to say at these demons in like an
1:56aggressive way, I'm not coming out. Then
1:58we go, yes, you are. You know, it
2:00doesn't work that way. You don't have to
2:02get really upset at them. Um, because
2:04that shows them that you don't believe
2:05the truth. And and just make sure that
2:07you just use the truth and cast them
2:08out. So, that'll happen today. So, if
2:10you have any demons in your life right
2:12now, you've got about 25 to 30 minutes
2:14left just to have a goodbye party. Say
2:16goodbye and just say to them, just say
2:20it's it's been great having you in my
2:21life. Um, the last the the last 20 years
2:24has been so much torment, so much fear,
2:26so many nightmares, so much depression.
2:28I can't wait to to say goodbye to you,
2:30you know, and just say goodbye to it
2:31once and for all because I was actually
2:34very demonized and you're about to hear
2:35about that and and Yeah. But I I do
2:38deliverance with a smile. I believe it's
2:40so much. I I believe in freedom. Don't
2:42you? Yeah. Oh, man. Freedom is so good.
2:45Or you can do 55 years of, you know,
2:48counseling. Um I I'm not against
2:51counseling, but I actually I've done
2:52counseling. It really helped me, but I
2:54believe in also power. All right, so
2:56Galatians chapter 1, let's read this
2:58together. Verse 8, Paul the Apostle
3:01speaking here. Uh he says this, that
3:04even if we are an angel from heaven
3:06preach any other gospel to you than that
3:10which we've preached to you, let him be
3:13accursed. Strong language, hey? Okay,
3:16picture this. You're having a coffee in
3:17Lancaster or Mechanicsburg or some other
3:19berg, whatever you are. And um is that
3:21right? Mechanicsburg. Yeah. Okay. That's
3:23kind of cool. That's the kind of place
3:25you want to grow up and you would never
3:26have car problems. So um you're having a
3:29coffee with Paul the Apostle in
3:31Mechanicsburg and he sits at the table
3:33with you and he says, "Listen to me. If
3:35anybody preaches another kind of gospel
3:38or another Jesus, let him be accursed."
3:41Now we're afraid of that language now
3:42because we're more seeker sensitive. We
3:44want to make sure everyone feels
3:45blessed. But imagine him sitting there
3:46going, "Listen to me. Let him be
3:48accursed." Okay. Very next verse. Let's
3:50read it again. Verse 9. As we have said
3:53before, and so now we say again. You
3:55mean like as in before, like one second
3:57ago, Paul? Yeah. If anyone preaches any
4:01other gospel to you than the one which
4:03you received, let him be cursed. That's
4:07strong language. If he was sitting
4:08across the table from me and said that
4:10to me twice, I'd be like, "Well, okay.
4:12So, you're telling me that if there's
4:14even a slight twist in the gospel,
4:17there's cursed things in this. God will
4:19curse it. Yes. A 95% biblical Jesus is
4:23100% not Jesus. A 98% biblical Jesus is
4:27100% not Jesus. It's either the Jesus of
4:30perfect scripture or it's not Jesus at
4:32all. You can't adjust him. He's the
4:34fullness as you heard last night. He is
4:36the father's sermon. And so, here Paul
4:39is very, very clear. And then verse 10,
4:42this is a bit I wanted to get to, but he
4:43says, "Let that gospel be cursed if it's
4:46changed." Just remember that word
4:48cursed. Verse 10, "For do I now persuade
4:51men or
4:53God? Or do I seek to please man? For if
4:57I still pleased man, I would not be a
5:02bond servant of
5:05Christ." All right, I'm going to read
5:07this again. Let's read it slowly. I feel
5:09like I do this at my church back home. I
5:11read I say, "Let's read this one more
5:12time slowly because I feel it's easy to
5:14go over very deep things sometimes." And
5:16I've learned a lot from God by slowing
5:18down. For do I now persuade men or God
5:21or do I seek to please men? For if I
5:25still pleased men, I would not be a
5:29bondervant of Christ. So what's Paul
5:32saying here? He's saying, "I'm not going
5:34to preach a fake gospel to you just so
5:37people like me.
5:38I'm not going to dull down the nature
5:40and revelation of Jesus so people like
5:43me. This gentile context was very
5:45important here as well. There's a bit of
5:46context I could give some extra Jesus,
5:48but I won't get into that. But
5:49basically, he's saying this. He's saying
5:51if we preach something fake just because
5:53we want to tickle the itching ears of
5:55the hearer, then we've got a cursed
5:57gospel. And not only is the gospel
5:59cursed, the messenger is cursed. You
6:01should totally refuse it. It has to be
6:03either truly biblical where it can be
6:05referenced Jesus biblically or not at
6:07all. It can't be some other thing of
6:09like, hey, I went up into the heavens
6:10and I moved a few planets. That's
6:12awesome. If you move planets and move
6:13galaxies, that's amazing. But it's crazy
6:15to me so many people I meet. They're
6:16like, you know, I had an encounter where
6:17I moved a galaxy. I'm like, that's
6:19awesome. Be amazing if you could move to
6:20forgive your brother. Be amazing if you
6:22could also move to maybe pray for your
6:23unsaved friends. But they want to move
6:26galaxies. They want to bring Jesus into
6:27this kind of cosmic Jesus who's sort of
6:29a like Michael said last night, utopian
6:31Jesus. But sometimes they lack the
6:33purity and innocence of the gospel. And
6:36many people even take pulpits like that
6:38and they preach this way. And believe it
6:40or not, I was this way. I was a person
6:43who was terrified of human opinion. And
6:46because of that, I actually had changed
6:48who I was. I didn't realize I had. But
6:50many times I would take a pulpit like
6:52this and my only concern was that you
6:55would love my well-prepared three-point
6:57sermon so I'd get a second invitation
6:59back. I wasn't feeding people like you.
7:02I was feeding me. I was feeding my own
7:04need for security and I would change and
7:06dull things down. I remember I had a
7:08conversation one time with these two
7:09well-known ministers and I was sort of
7:12just coming up in the ranks of ministry
7:13and I didn't understand that I had this
7:15deep resident fear of man in me. But I
7:18was coming up in ministry and we were
7:19playing golf together and these two guys
7:20were very well known and and I was
7:22sitting there with them and I was like,
7:23"Wow, I get to play golf with them and
7:25and uh and just have lunch with them."
7:26And at lunch they started talking and
7:28they started talking about money. And
7:31remember, I'm a little baby Christian.
7:32So like baby in the ministry and and
7:34just so excited to be around these men
7:36and honoring them. And these guys
7:38started complaining. They said, "Can you
7:40believe we flew all the way across
7:42America, halfway across America? You
7:43know, it took me three hours to fly
7:45there and they only gave me $3,000 to
7:47speak." And then the other goes, "Yeah,
7:49that they don't appreciate you. They
7:50don't respect you. I feel the same." You
7:52know, when I go to some places, I only
7:53get $5,000. And I'm sitting there like
7:55this. I'm like, "5 grand? You get five
7:57grand?" I was like, "Man, I get like 50
8:00bucks, maybe a hot dog if I, you know, I
8:02was like, $5,000." But inside me,
8:05everything inside me wanted to go,
8:07"Excuse me. Hey, um, I feel grieved as
8:10you're talking. Isn't this about Jesus,
8:12though? Don't we preach for Jesus? Don't
8:14we do this all for Jesus? But I couldn't
8:17say it. I couldn't say it because
8:18Proverbs 28 says, "The fear of man is a
8:20snare." I couldn't talk because inside
8:24me, I had this deep rooted belief system
8:26that man favors me more than God. That
8:28man gives me what I need in the
8:30Christian world. And somehow I'd slipped
8:32into this system of trying to climb the
8:34Christian totem pole or Christian
8:35ladder, which doesn't exist anyway, and
8:37trying to kind of make sure everybody
8:39that I met was pleased with my ability
8:41to preach and my ability to pray. And
8:43they knew I was a man of God. And I
8:45didn't even realize I had this stuff in
8:47me. But I was changing who I was. And I
8:49made this gray area pseudo me that was
8:53fitting in everywhere. But I felt like I
8:55belong nowhere cuz I felt like I was
8:57losing the genuiness of conviction
8:59inside my heart. I remember talking to
9:02these other famous preachers and they
9:04would discuss whether hell is real or
9:05not. And inside me, everything inside me
9:06is like, "Of course, hell is real. If
9:08you change that pillar, you've made a
9:10false gospel." But I couldn't say it.
9:12There was times I felt like I was shut
9:13down because of the opportunity I would
9:16have missed. And so Paul looks you in
9:18the eyes and says, "Listen to me. You've
9:20got to make sure that you are living to
9:22please first and foremost an audience of
9:24one. You can't have one foot anchored
9:27and stabilized on the opinions of every
9:29person and the other foot on Jesus. One
9:32foot has to be much bigger. Now, do we
9:34need encouragement? Yes. Do we need
9:36edification? Yes. Do we need people to
9:38say to us, "Hey, good job." Or, "That's
9:39true." And etc. Sure. Everybody likes
9:42encouragement. Everyone loves to be
9:43liked. But we don't live to be liked. We
9:46live to please God and the truth. But
9:48see, I didn't know this. Now, you heard
9:51my testimony yesterday. I was unafraid
9:53in the streets. I would get in the
9:54streets and say, "Hey, Jesus loves you."
9:56Because nobody out there could offer me
9:59a pulpit. Nobody could offer me a
10:01Christian opportunity. No one could
10:02offer me a book deal. Everybody out in
10:05the street to me was somebody I could
10:06reach and love. But something strange
10:09happened to me when I started to train
10:11to get into the ministry. And I can say
10:13this very vulnerably. Some part of me
10:15had adjusted in order to please people,
10:19in order to get invitations, and in
10:21order to make myself feel like I was
10:23doing something important in the body of
10:25Christ. And as I said to you yesterday,
10:26see this thing right here? This is not
10:29the definition of Christian success. I
10:32can tell you, I can tell you because
10:34I've been at pull pits on a Sunday or on
10:36a Saturday and I've lived a different
10:38way on Monday. I've had different
10:40thoughts in my mind, unholy things in my
10:43life where on on Sunday, I was acting so
10:46powerful, but I wasn't genuine. I wasn't
10:48given fully to the message of Jesus. I
10:50was compromised a little. And so, I want
10:52to just dive into this here, but Paul
10:54says this. Now, I didn't think I had
10:56this because everyone was coming to me,
10:57Ben, you're so bold. You you pray for
11:00the sick everywhere on the streets.
11:01That's why people were inviting me to
11:02churches. They're like, you're just a
11:04bold evangelist. You do all these
11:06things. And then one day I was invited
11:08at a very large church of around about
11:108,000 people. I was invited to sit on
11:13the front row and I wasn't a staff
11:15member. I was at a school of ministry
11:17and I was invited to sit at the very
11:19front row and my favorite preacher, the
11:21man I look up to most in Christianity
11:23probably at that time still. Um he was
11:26preaching and he did an amazing job. But
11:28that day I remember I could hardly sleep
11:30that night cuz they said tomorrow you
11:32can come as an intern and sit on the
11:34front row. And I was like me? I was like
11:36why? And they're like, "Just come and
11:37hang with us." And I was like, "Okay,
11:39yeah, I'll hang for sure." And in
11:41worship, I remember being in worship,
11:42this big church, and all all the whole
11:44time for 45 whatever minutes, I kept
11:46looking around like, "Hey, here I am up
11:48the front," you know, and and I was so
11:50like I was there early. I was different,
11:52you know, and I was just like very happy
11:54to be sitting on the front row there.
11:56This preacher preached a phenomenal
11:57message. He came off the pullpit and he
12:00started shaking the people's hands of
12:01his staff and he said, "God bless you.
12:03Have a wonderful Sunday. God bless you.
12:05Have a wonderful Sunday." And I was at
12:06the very very end and I was like this. I
12:09was like, I can't wait to meet this man
12:11of God, you know, and and I'm sitting
12:12here on the front row, you know, and
12:14it's his church and I was like, I can't
12:15wait to meet him. And he knows that I
12:17know his staff member. And so he gets to
12:19everybody. He's like, hey, God bless
12:20you. Have a wonderful Sunday. And I'm
12:22just waiting like this, you know, and he
12:24gets to me and he looks me in the eye
12:25and he goes, he pulls his hand away and
12:28he walks away. He shook everybody's
12:30hands except mine. And I was like this.
12:33And inside my heart's like, and then
12:36straight away my thoughts did this. He
12:38hates you. He's seen a Facebook post
12:39that you did and he doesn't agree with
12:40your theology. He doesn't like what you
12:42say. He heard some bad thing about you.
12:44He saw a demon in your eyes when he
12:46looked at you. Now, how many of you have
12:47had that thought? Be honest. Be Hey,
12:50that's like four people. Be honest.
12:51You've had that thought before. Man of
12:53God looks at you in the eyes. I had one
12:54guy come to me once. He goes, "You were
12:56looking at me the whole sermon. What did
12:57you see me?" I said, "Bro, I was
12:58thinking about lunch. When do we do the
13:00lunch? You know, when does the lunch
13:01happen?" And he's like, "You saw
13:03something in me, didn't you?" I was
13:04like, "Uh, I do now cuz you're right in
13:06front of me. I see a lot of fear of man
13:08in you, but I but some people are so
13:11paranoid." So my thoughts went to
13:13extreme paranoia. And so in that very
13:15peaceful state of mind, I turned to this
13:17other staff member. I said, "Did you see
13:19that?" And he goes, "See what, buddy?" I
13:21said, "He didn't shake my hand." And he
13:23went, "Oh, I'm sure he didn't see." I
13:24said, "He looked me in the eyeballs. He
13:26saw me in the eyeballs." He said as he
13:28pulled the hand away and I said, "Does
13:31he know anything about me? does he is he
13:32concerned about me? And he goes, "Bro, I
13:34think you're being a little bit too
13:35extreme." I said, "I'm not." You know, I
13:37decided to get in this crazy thing. So,
13:39in that very peaceful state of mind, I
13:41decided to run to the car park with his
13:43security and him and chase him to his
13:45car because what I was going to do is I
13:48was going to go to the car and say,
13:49"Hey, excuse me. I'm so sorry if I've
13:52done something to offend you. I don't
13:53even know what I'm apologizing for."
13:56Some of you are like this. You have the
13:57fear of man so stuck in your head that
13:59if somebody gives you the wrong look or
14:01doesn't hug you that day, you think for
14:033 days about what they thought of you.
14:05Some of you lives with so much traffic
14:07in your mind. You don't know how to
14:08break free and follow Jesus when he's
14:11speaking to you. Cuz you're worried,
14:12what will everybody think of me if I
14:14follow Jesus? Even Christians, it's like
14:16a plague in the body of Christ. That's
14:18the reason God says stop. And you're
14:20like, oh, is which lady? I can't stop
14:22her. Cuz that 10-second thought of in
14:25her head of who you are means more to
14:28you in that moment and stabilizes your
14:30identity more than the millions of
14:31thoughts like the sands of the seashore
14:33that Jesus has for you. You are stuck in
14:36people's mindset and you haven't
14:38anchored your life fully on the fear of
14:41God, the only right fear. And I thought
14:45I was so free. Everyone thought I was so
14:48bold until that day. I chased him to the
14:50car park and praise the Lord. Before I
14:53got to his car, he just drove right off
14:56the edge of the the thing where he was
14:58and I was like, "Uhoh." In my head, I
15:00was like, "I'll not get to speak to this
15:02man for weeks, months. I don't know how
15:04I'm going to talk to him. How will I
15:05find out what demon he saw in my life?
15:07How will I find out what I've done
15:08against him or what Facebook post he
15:11hated that I did?" Guys, if you live
15:14with constant internal traffic in your
15:16head of people's opinions of you and yet
15:18you walk right with God, let me make a
15:20statement to you. It doesn't matter if
15:22the Pope himself rang and said, "I hate
15:23you." If you're right here and you're
15:25right here, it doesn't matter what any
15:27human says. The Lord Jesus has accepted
15:30you. If you are right here, see the
15:34scripture promise you'll be
15:35misunderstood. But if you're clean here
15:38and clean here, loving here, not a
15:40bitter person, not a gossiper, not a
15:42criticizer, but loving. It doesn't
15:44matter if people misunderstand you. They
15:45misunderstood Jesus, didn't they? Even
15:48Christians misunderstood people like
15:49Peter. People were angry at certain
15:52types of people. But that's all right.
15:54But see, I had this very deep root where
15:56I'd anchored everything on what the
15:59Christian world was giving to me or what
16:00certain friendships were giving to me. I
16:02didn't know. I didn't even know it was
16:03in me. So anyway, he drove past me and I
16:06felt like Yahweh, Father God, was
16:08watching me in that car park. You want
16:10to know who the man was? It was Bill
16:14Johnson. It was Bill. Do you know why I
16:17tell you that? Do you ever think Bill
16:18Johnson would be mean enough to do that?
16:22Nuh-uh. Neither did I until that
16:26moment. But when Bill Johnson doesn't
16:28shake your hand, he looks you in the
16:29eyeballs. It scares you. I tell you
16:31right now, because Bill is so kind all
16:32the time. So that took me to level 400.
16:35You know, I was like, he really doesn't
16:36like me. He saw something very bad in my
16:38life. And so when he drove away, I
16:40thought, how am I going to get to Bill?
16:42How am I going to speak to him about
16:44this problem? You know, and I was trying
16:46to convince friends who work there like,
16:47can you ask Bill is, you know, so crazy.
16:50And I felt like God was looking right at
16:52me. And as he I was there standing at
16:55the Bethl church car
16:56park, I remember the father began to
16:59speak to me and said, "Ben, I need to
17:01speak to you about what you trust in. I
17:03need to speak to you about what you're
17:05building your life
17:06upon." And I thought of all these
17:09scenarios where I'd be with these
17:11well-known ministers and someone would
17:12go, "Hey," they're like, "Hey, did you
17:14see that movie on the weekend?" And
17:15they're talking to each other and I'm
17:16sort of just sort of now kind of there
17:18as an intern or something and and they'd
17:20go like this, "Yeah, it was an amazing
17:22movie. It's Spider-Man 2, right? And and
17:24they're like, "Yeah, yeah, it was
17:24amazing. I took my kids." And then I'm
17:26just standing there like, "Cool, man. I
17:27get to hang with these man men of God."
17:29And then they'd look at me and go, "You
17:30saw that, Ben?" I'd go. And the Holy
17:32Spirit inside me is like, "You're
17:33nodding your head. You never saw the
17:34movie. Why are you lying?" And I'm like,
17:36"Ah, yeah, I saw." And I go, "Yeah, the
17:38best bit was this." And inside me, I'm
17:40like, "What am I nodding my head for?
17:42What am I changing myself for? Why did I
17:44go into these conversations and raise my
17:46voice and go, "Hey, hey, hey, Chris
17:48Valadin. Hey, why am I calling him
17:49Valadin? Why am I calling him by his
17:50last name? I I I walk away and be so
17:53weird. I'd act so weird around certain
17:55people. And I was like, why am I acting
17:56like a fruitc
17:57cake because I had this weird value
18:00system that people are the promotion
18:03tool or people need to accept me. And I
18:06realized, I didn't realize this, but it
18:07came from my dad's suicide. It came from
18:10the fact that my father just took off
18:12one day. So I developed, let's say, a
18:15rooted lie inside me and a fear of man
18:16in me that someday people will just turn
18:18on you. and I hadn't anchored myself in
18:21the fear of the Lord that it doesn't
18:23matter. It doesn't matter what people
18:24will do to you. But I didn't know this.
18:26So I began to remember all these
18:27scenarios. I I remembered all these
18:30times I changed who I was and became
18:32like a chameleon that could adjust, but
18:34I wouldn't speak my true opinion. I
18:36wouldn't tell the truth because I was
18:38worried if I was too extreme, someone
18:40will cut you off. If you're too this,
18:42someone will cut you off. And that's
18:43happening right now, my friends. There
18:45is preachers out there right now and
18:47they're committing a great sin because
18:48they have like a snake. They have two
18:50tongues. They're telling you, you know,
18:51I've really studied the etmology of this
18:54word and hell and and they're deceiving
18:56multitudes. And multitudes are falling
18:58for it. And they're doing this. You know
19:00why? They're not doing it because they
19:01love to deceive. They're doing it
19:03because they love to be loved. They want
19:05you to. They tickle. They they have
19:08itching ear people. They tickle the part
19:09of us that we don't that we we don't
19:11like to hear the tough message. So they
19:13tickle that away and they just want love
19:15for themselves. They're just broken men,
19:17broken women. And they change the word
19:19of God and make it null to no effect.
19:20And Paul said it's cursed. And so in
19:23some way, part of my lifestyle was
19:25cursed. And I wondered why I always felt
19:27like I was getting
19:29rejected. Put your hand up if you feel
19:31like you get rejected a little too much.
19:33I want to propose to you. Here's the
19:35reason why. You have made a pseudo you
19:38that God never made.
19:41Let me explain that. You've made a
19:44person that adjusts all the time,
19:46doesn't tell the truth, doesn't speak
19:47the truth, is always trying to make sure
19:49everyone's pleased with you, and you're
19:51like this little person who's watching
19:53every Facebook comment, watching every
19:54little thing, watching every convers.
19:56I'm so sorry. You say sorry 5,000 times
19:58a day, and you've made a second person,
20:00and God intends for that to be rejected
20:02because that's not who he made. So, it
20:04will na naturally be rejected. You'll
20:06constantly get rejected. Then you'll be
20:07like, I'm struggling with a spirit of
20:09rejection. People come to me all the
20:11time. They come on the prayer line. Ben,
20:12would you pray for me? I see you're so
20:13bold. They say, "But I get I I suffer
20:16with rejection." I pray for them like
20:17this. I go, "Sure." I put my hand on
20:19their head and say, "Father, give them
20:2010 more amazing rejections, way worse
20:23than the last ones, until they stop
20:25grounding themselves on everybody's
20:27opinion of them. We have made a Goliath
20:30out of
20:31rejection. We have made the spirit of
20:34rejection, a Goliath. It can be dealt
20:36with in 10 seconds. You come off the
20:39foundation of everyone's opinions and
20:41fear of man and living for them. You
20:43come on to Jesus and you go, I reject
20:45building my life around everybody's
20:47thoughts of me, but heaven's thoughts
20:48matter. And then you say, I renounce
20:51every devil of rejection. Some people
20:52want to keep their demons. Some people
20:54use a spirit of rejection to get
20:57acceptance. Oh, can you pray for me
20:59again? Do you mean, can I accept you
21:00again? Do you mean, can I give you value
21:03again? Can I give you attention again?
21:04Why don't you get rid of the devil?
21:06Because then you'll become the real you.
21:07Then everyone's going to love what the
21:08diamond of Jesus they see in your life.
21:10They're going to love that. We've made a
21:13Goliath out of rejection. People write
21:14books about it. It's
21:16nonsense. It's just us anchoring
21:18ourselves outside of the truth. And I
21:21had done it. I didn't even know because
21:22everyone's like, "You're so bold." Okay,
21:25so here's what happened. You want to
21:27know what actually happened that day?
21:29Bill Johnson shook all those people's
21:31hands and he looked past my head at a
21:33woman behind me. I think he didn't even
21:36see me. When I told Bill, I said, "Bill,
21:38I'm writing a book called Breaking the
21:39Fear of Man, and you happen to be in the
21:41book." And um you don't you don't know
21:43you're in the book, but you're in the
21:44book. And I explained the whole thing to
21:46him, and he goes, "Oh, Ben, I am so
21:48sorry I didn't shake your hand." I said,
21:50"I'm not sorry. It revealed the greatest
21:52demon spirit lie in my life that was in
21:55my life, and it changed me big time."
21:57And I said, I'm writing a book called
21:59Breaking the Fear of Man to help
22:00Christians all over the world break the
22:01fear of man out of their life so they
22:03can follow the voice of God and not fear
22:05humanity. Cuz we live in a day and age
22:07where everybody wants to be liked.
22:09Literally, we've reduced our identity to
22:11a double tap. Oh, we were really made
22:14for this all day. Another 4 hours a day.
22:16We weren't made for that nonsense. We
22:18were made for the glory of Jesus. And
22:21so, I can't wait to finish this book.
22:23And Bill said, I said, "Bill, I'm going
22:24to take your name out of the book." He
22:25said, "No, no, no. please put my name in
22:27there. He said, "Make it as authentic as
22:29you can." I was like, "Really? That
22:30makes you look kind of weird." But I was
22:31like, "Okay, I'll put it in." But I I
22:34put later in the book that he didn't see
22:35me at all. And he was so gracious. And I
22:38said, "Bill, it revealed to me that I
22:40was idolizing the opinions of people
22:43over Jesus. I was living in a strange
22:46way because what if Jesus starts to tell
22:48you you're going to be a prophet to the
22:49nations?" Guess what most of our
22:51prophets are now? They're pulpit
22:52prophets. They won't tell the truth.
22:54They just tell you what you want to
22:55hear. They want an invite. They don't
22:56want to tell you the word of the Lord.
22:57Kim Clement was a real prophet. He'll
22:59tell you the word of the Lord. People
23:01like him would go, "The Lord says." They
23:03would say, "Lazy church, lazy house of
23:05God who doesn't pray." They would give
23:07these sharp words like, "Ah, he cut
23:08you." You've got some of them in Africa.
23:10I remember one guy recently said, he
23:12said, "The nation of Uganda will be at
23:14war in the month of November. There'll
23:15be a civil war. 83,000 people died." The
23:17president rang that guy and he said, "I
23:19need to meet with you because it
23:20happened." And then he said there's no
23:22rain also in this area of Uganda for 6
23:24months. And he said if you repent
23:26president and let all these people from
23:27the country come out there if you repent
23:30and if all the people repent together
23:31we'll cry out to God. It will rain that
23:33day. 3 million people showed up. And
23:35I've watched the video. They stand on
23:37the pulpit like this. Father forgive us
23:38as a country. It buckets rain so much
23:41you can't even see the camera. It
23:43buckets rain. But we don't have prophets
23:46like that anymore. Why do you think no
23:49no no prophets heard about CO? Because
23:51they don't hear about CO because their
23:53ears. They hear what the body wants to
23:55hear. They hear about their ministry.
23:58They don't say, "Thus sayaith the Lord."
24:00I see seasons of refreshing. I don't see
24:01that. I see in 2025 when I was fasting
24:04recently, God told me there's going to
24:05be a major financial problem hitting the
24:07world. He told me that the oil price
24:08will go to $200 next year per barrel. I
24:12don't even know about oil stocks. Some
24:13of you dudes might know. I have no clue
24:14about it. And then I looked it up. $70
24:17right now, which means this, we will
24:18head into some kind of financial
24:20recession where oil goes through the
24:22roof or there's a war and it stops oil
24:24again, but through the roof oil. And I
24:26was like, "Praise God. If I have some
24:27money, I'll give put money in oil." Now,
24:30you can test this in a year if I'm
24:32right, but I don't have the need to
24:34please you. I have the need to hear and
24:36speak, hear and say. We don't have those
24:38prophets. Now, I'm not a prophet. I'm
24:41not boasting on me. I'm just saying when
24:42I had the fear of man in me, I could
24:44never tell the truth because I was
24:46worried if you speak truth like that,
24:48you won't get invited
24:49back cuz that is true. We love the
24:52people that make us feel warm and, you
24:55know, fluffy and stuff. But those people
24:57sometimes are just telling us the stuff
24:59we've heard for 50 years. We need people
25:01that tell us the truth about God. That's
25:03a question I have for you. How come no
25:05prophets knew of CO, the largest
25:07worldwide event in probably the last 30
25:09years? Why didn't they know? Do you
25:11think God's like, "I'm going to be
25:12silent and not tell anybody." No. The
25:14Lord knows and he wants to speak. He
25:16spoke to a few. They gave some sort of
25:17close things, but I believe in this day
25:19and age, the reason we don't hear
25:20clearly is cuz we hear and then we go,
25:22"That message doesn't sound right,
25:24though. The people won't believe that or
25:25we're not supposed to prophesy something
25:27that could be second heaven." It's
25:28become so complicated, so complex. You
25:31sit in front of God, you get pure,
25:33you're holy, you cut off demons out of
25:35your life, you walk holy, you walk pure,
25:36and you say, "God, what do you say?" And
25:38then he says this and then you say it.
25:40My mentor's wife, she rang this lady and
25:42she said to her, she said, "I'm giving
25:43you a warning from the Lord. If you
25:45continue in alcoholism," cuz she had
25:47three kids, she was burning all the
25:48money. The kids weren't eating any food
25:50at all. And the lady was in her church.
25:51The lady would get drunk every night.
25:52And she said, "Sweetheart, the Lord has
25:54spoken to me. If you continue in
25:56alcoholism, you will die." And she said,
25:58"Oh, no. I don't, you know, I don't
26:00believe that." She said, "The Lord has
26:01told me." And the Lord even told me the
26:03day in 10 days time if you do not quit
26:05alcohol, you will be gone off the face
26:07of this planet. You're spending all your
26:08kids' money on alcohol and you're a
26:10Christian. You know better by now and
26:11you're tempting God. And then all of a
26:13sudden uh 10 days later, she didn't quit
26:15it. She dropped dead in her kitchen.
26:18That's my mentor's wife. Because my
26:20mentor was taught, you listen to God,
26:22you preach the gospel, you tell the
26:23truth, and uh and he I'm so thankful God
26:26sent him into my life, especially at a
26:27critical time when I was bound by the
26:30fear of man. So, let me explain how I
26:32got set free of this. Now, by the way,
26:34some of you might be like even now like,
26:35I don't believe God would say it. That's
26:37cool. You can have that belief, but I
26:39believe he said it. And I'm not saying
26:41she went to hell. But what I am saying
26:43is this. We don't talk a lot about the
26:45severity of Jesus in this book. We don't
26:47talk about Ananas and Safar. We make up
26:49doctrines like, well, God just whisked
26:50Ananas and Safar into heaven and Peter
26:53was the one who declared it. Read the
26:55accounts of Acts. I remember preaching
26:57in one church one time and uh and this
26:59is, you know, God using me and the
27:01worship leader uh was 40 and he sleeping
27:03with an 18-year-old girl and um and he
27:06had a wife as well and they invited me
27:08to the church. I warned the pastor. I
27:09said, "Are you sure you want me to
27:11come?" He said, "Yes, I'm sure. I want
27:13you to be there." And so he said, "We
27:14want you to preach a message about the
27:16gospel." I said, "Sure, okay, I'll
27:17come." And so I asked God what to
27:19preach. He said, "Yeah, preach the
27:20gospel." And he said, "But I also want
27:21you to preach about sin." And so I
27:23started preaching about sin. Well, next
27:25minute a kid up the very back starts
27:27screaming and just runs to the front and
27:29screaming demons coming out of him. And
27:31then um the the worship leader dude who
27:33was married who was cheating on his wife
27:35who was the worship leader, he starts
27:36like getting like full-on angry and then
27:38he comes at the front and he's just
27:40going bananas at me and stuff and all
27:42these guys start going crazy. It
27:43literally split the church down the
27:44middle. Half them were crying to God
27:46saying this, "Lord, we needed this. This
27:48is you." And the hand of God fell on the
27:50building and about 50 people like uh
27:51everywhere screaming out to God, demons
27:53coming out all the time and it was
27:55beautiful. And the pastor was divided
27:56between the two. He didn't know what to
27:57do. The glory of God or his the offended
28:00people. He didn't know how to deal with
28:01it. But the offended people were mainly
28:03in sin, physical sin, I mean. And so I
28:06said, "The Lord wants to restore this
28:08church." And uh and he did. The Lord
28:10restored it. It was really cool. But
28:11halfway through a demon came out of one
28:13of the elders and he fell backwards on
28:15the ground. and he was squirming like a
28:16worm and it it tried to bang his head
28:18against the heater and the wife jumped
28:20on top of his chest and slapped him in
28:22the face and yeah, seriously, she
28:24slapped him in the face and she said,
28:25"What are you doing? You're embarrassing
28:27me in front of the whole church." And
28:28then he snapped out of it. The demon
28:29went right back into his body. She
28:31pulled him off the ground and they both
28:32came at me. As they came at me, to cut a
28:35very long story short, as they came at
28:37me, the judgment of God fell on him. I
28:39won't get into what happened, but
28:40basically he was thrown to the ground.
28:42and he was thrown to the ground and
28:44nothing could fix him. His body was
28:46totally just boom. Like he he went to me
28:49to try and he went right at me and was
28:51screaming in front of the whole church
28:52with the wife. How dare you? Look what
28:54you've done to the church. And then just
28:55the hand of God just fell on him. Like
28:57Acts chapter 13. And I was like, "Oh, I
28:59remember that's in the book of
29:02Acts." But but but see, we don't
29:04remember that now. We're like, "No, no,
29:06no. That that couldn't have been the
29:07father's nature." Yes, it can be. Yeah.
29:09Yeah. The father isn't like, "Please,
29:11would can we get a few more worship
29:12leaders who cheat on their wives? Let's
29:13get a few more, please." No, the father
29:15is
29:16holy. But I would never have preached
29:18that before. I would never have preached
29:20that before cuz I'd want you to be so
29:22pleased with my amazing message. And how
29:24many of you love three-point messages?
29:25No. No one does. You don't even remember
29:27them. But you remember encounters. You
29:30remember the truth of scripture. You
29:32remember pure Bible. And you can refer
29:34to pure Bible. You can't refer to three
29:36points of your best life.
29:38Okay, so here's what happened to me.
29:40After Bill didn't shake my hand, I went
29:42into a conipian fit and freaked out. And
29:45I said, "God, it's clear to me now."
29:47Because I remembered all the scenarios
29:48where I'd done the wrong thing and kind
29:50of twisted truth and kind of fit in
29:52everywhere and loved the green room. I
29:55remembered
29:57them. And the Lord said to me, "I want
29:59you to fast." Halfway through the fast,
30:01he told me, "Open to the book of
30:02Jeremiah." And now I don't know if you
30:04know Jeremiah well, but there's not as
30:06many encouraging verses in there. You
30:08know, it's very encouraging, but like my
30:10life, like honestly, in that season,
30:12I've done this so many times. I've gone,
30:13"Father, please speak to me." You ever
30:15done that? Every time I'd do that, I'd
30:17be like, "Father, please." I'd be
30:18begging God in my room, "Please speak to
30:20me." And he kill a hundred foxes and
30:21hang them backwards on a fence. I would
30:23get the weirdest verses. Have you ever
30:25had that? Why do you guys not put up
30:27your hands? Have you ever had that?
30:28Yeah. Okay. Have you ever gone like
30:30this, "Father, please speak. Speak."
30:31Deuteronomy. Yes. Yes. Yes. Chapter 54.
30:34Yeah. Yeah. And you get there. There is
30:35no chapter 54. It ends at chapter 5.
30:38Like, have you ever had that? Yeah. I've
30:40had that so many times. And cuz you're
30:42really seeking. I think God probably
30:45laughs. God's like,
30:47uh, if you just believe the
30:50truth. I used to do that. So, when God
30:52said to me, "Turn to the book of
30:54Jeremiah," I was like, "Okay, he's going
30:55to give me a kind of solid rebuke here."
30:57And uh and I was halfway through this
30:59long fast and I was seeking the Lord
31:01saying, "Father, please, I can see that
31:03I am manipulated. I am a person who
31:06manipulates. It must have been something
31:08to do with my father's suicide, but I am
31:10worried about everyone's opinions. I
31:12think all night about things that people
31:14say to me or stuff I said in a sermon
31:16wrong. I remember one time the the
31:18biggest invitation I ever got to speak.
31:20It was a guardrail like this in Indiana
31:22and it was my first big kind of
31:24conference like this and I was standing
31:26there like this. Can you still see me?
31:27Sorry, cameraman. I love you. Um, and I
31:30was standing and the pastor started
31:31introducing me and all of a sudden my
31:33heart like this and I was so like this
31:36so so much um heart beating like that
31:38that I began to faint. I began to
31:41literally go like I had twinkles in the
31:42eyes and stuff and his voice
31:44went like and I'm like and I'm like oh
31:46uhoh. And so I did what we all should
31:48do. I said I rebuke you devil. He's get
31:50off my heart in Jesus name. And I
31:52rebuked it again. Get off me right now.
31:53And it got worse. And so I had to grab
31:55the rail and he's introducing me. And
31:57then the sweet Holy Spirit right by that
31:59rail spoke to me so clear like a knife.
32:03And he said to me, "Son, people only get
32:06this nervous when they're about to put
32:07on a
32:11performance." And I realized standing
32:13there, I prepared all these things. I
32:16did everything. But secretly, there was
32:18this hook in me that was ministering not
32:20to feed his sheep, but to feed me. You
32:23see, I had the fear of man. Well, I
32:28turned to Jeremiah that day in the
32:30middle of the fast and I literally
32:32flicked my thumb to the chapter of
32:35Jeremiah 17. Would you go there, please?
32:37Jeremiah 17. Jeremiah. It's right after
32:45Isaiah. Jeremiah 17.
32:49See, can you imagine what the destiny of
32:51the kingdom of God in the church would
32:53look like if we had no fear of man? Can
32:55you imagine? Can you imagine in Europe
32:57where the median church size is 40 to 50
32:59people and where church planting is so
33:01slow? Can you imagine if someone went,
33:02"I don't care about culture. I just care
33:04what the Lord said and just did what God
33:05said." Can you imagine the revivals we'd
33:07have? Oh my goodness. Can you imagine
33:09what would happen in America if God just
33:10raises up these preachers who preach
33:12just pure solid gospel like you heard
33:14last night? Like you hear from Dr.
33:15Randy. If can you imagine the effect on
33:18the on the bride if all of us were
33:20preaching the gospel because that
33:22heartbeat of stop stop and you don't
33:24stop and that could be hell. We don't
33:26know if that person's on their last day
33:28last year last whatever we don't know.
33:30Can you imagine the effect of living a
33:32fearless life? Wouldn't it be glorious
33:34to see people would write books they
33:36they'd get an idea. See the world
33:38doesn't have the restraints of fear that
33:39we have. We are so worried about what
33:41other believers think of us that we
33:42don't do things often. And that's how I
33:45lived. But I didn't realize it. I opened
33:48to Jeremiah 17. My eyes fell on verse 5.
33:51Would you read this slowly with me? Thus
33:53says the Lord. Cursed is the man who
33:58trusts in man and makes flesh his
34:04strength.
34:05Whoa. Whose heart departs from the
34:10Lord. You notice that word cursed.
34:15Why? Because he's going to change the
34:17message. He's going to change the
34:19foundation. He's going to change who
34:21fills him. And he's going to trust in
34:23broken vessels just like he is. And
34:25what's going to happen is he's going to
34:26get validation from humans. But his
34:28heart is going to go cold toward Jesus,
34:30the one he really needs. And therefore,
34:33you have all these Old Testament people
34:35around Jeremiah's time who are
34:36prophesying peace, peace, peace, peace.
34:39But they were trusting in man. They
34:42trusted in what people were giving to
34:43them more than what God gave them. In
34:45the book of Psalms in the 75th chapter,
34:4776th chapter, it says, "Exaltation does
34:50not come from the east or the west. It
34:52comes from the hand of God. He puts one
34:55down, he raises another up. God is the
34:56one who raises your life up." So when I
34:59read this, it smacked me in the face.
35:01And God said to me, he said, "Son, this
35:03is the reality of the way you structure
35:06your heart and your life. You live this
35:08way. and I want to uproot in you the
35:10fear of man so that you would fully obey
35:12me, so that you would fully please me.
35:14Well, right before this, this is the
35:16story that this part that's really
35:18crazy. Right before this, God had spoken
35:21to me to do my first ever Awakening
35:23Europe event like the ones you saw on
35:24the screen in Nuremberg, Germany, in the
35:27stadium Hitler
35:29used. When I got back to Bethl Church,
35:32Bill and all my amazing leaders, they're
35:34empowering leaders. I shared with them,
35:36"God spoke to me in Germany. Something's
35:38going to happen in Nuremberg, Germany.
35:40And a Jesus culture worship leader had
35:42this dream in 2011 where they saw this
35:45place called Nurm on a hill, but they
35:47didn't know Berg means hill. And and I
35:49said, "God is going to do something,
35:51Bill. God's going to do something,
35:52Paul." I told them, and they they said,
35:54"Okay, well, let's see." They said, "I
35:56can feel God's hand on you. Actually, I
35:57can feel the hand of the Lord something
35:59in this. So, let's see." It was awesome
36:00how they did that. They didn't just kill
36:02the vision. They let me sort of explore
36:04it. So healthy. That's such great
36:06leadership. It's so bad when someone
36:08comes to us and we're threatened by
36:09somebody's else's bigger idea. That just
36:11shows you you fear, man. You're getting
36:13all your value from your biggest idea
36:14instead of from Jesus. How many churches
36:16do you have, brother? Well, we have 50.
36:18How many do you have? 49. Oh, okay.
36:20Well, you'll get to 50 one day. It's all
36:21garbage. It's all such stupidness. When
36:24you get to heaven, you don't hand Jesus
36:25a card. Here's my 50 churches card. You
36:28know, here it is. Where do I sit in
36:30heaven? He might be like, go back to the
36:32back door. You know, you need to you
36:35need to learn some things. We are all
36:36one kingdom. We should celebrate
36:39everything Jesus is doing. Every book
36:42that is written, every conference that
36:44is done, every stadium, every soul, we
36:46should celebrate if someone comes to
36:47Jesus through a hot dog or they come to
36:50Jesus through the most full-on finial.
36:53We should celebrate it. But see, people
36:55compete. People are against each other
36:57because they think that Christianity is
36:59a place where we climb a totem pole and
37:01we have to be accepted. No, we're
37:02accepted from God first. And so I
37:04realized that I had this deep issue. Now
37:07I hired the stadium. So these German
37:09leaders flew to Bethl and they wanted to
37:11meet with the senior team and I was
37:13allowed to sit with some of the senior
37:14team in this meeting. Now I'm a little
37:17young guy, first uh first year on staff
37:19at Bethl, but I have this vision from
37:20God. And so I'm sitting there and they
37:22didn't talk to me. They talked to to
37:24this senior person and said, "Ben can't
37:26do this. He doesn't understand Germans.
37:28He doesn't know the German people. He
37:30doesn't know how hard it is in Germany.
37:31It's going to fail. it's going to cost
37:33him a million euro. It's going to be
37:34really bad and it's going to look
37:35shameful for the German church. And I'm
37:37sitting there, I'm like, Ben, you can
37:38talk to me, too. I'm right here. They
37:40wouldn't talk to me. And they were
37:41saying, "Don't let him do this." The
37:43They flew all the way from Germany to
37:45convince Bethl to not let me do it. Now,
37:48as I'm sitting there, it was around the
37:50time God was snapping this fear of man
37:52off me. And then a a few months later, a
37:55few weeks later, a prophet came to Bethl
37:57and he said, "I feel the Lord's on
37:58something with Germany." And he said,
37:59"You young man, the Lord's on you for
38:01Germany. Would you stand up?" And he
38:03came off the stage and he put his hand
38:04on me and he said, "God's going to use
38:06you to to raise up the Jesus freaks of
38:08Germany." And I was like, "Wow." And so
38:11I'm like I'm like, "Yes, yes." And then
38:15Eric Johnson came to me. He said, he
38:16goes, "Do you tell him about that?" I
38:18said, "No, I haven't told anybody but
38:19you guys." And he said, "Come to the the
38:21staffed dinner, the conference dinner
38:23with us, the lunch, and tell him tell
38:25him and have dinner." And so I get there
38:27to the dinner and I go to meet the guy
38:28and I said, "You you prophesied over me
38:30and I had tracksuit pants on." You know
38:32what tracksuit pants are? Like joggers.
38:34Joggers. You call them joggers? Yeah.
38:35Okay. Whatever. Let's say cheap pants. I
38:39I had cheap pants on and I said, "Hey, I
38:41said I'm the guy and look at my hair,
38:43you know, like look at the way I am. I I
38:45don't look like Yeah. Anyway, so I said,
38:48"Hey, I'm the guy that you prophesied
38:49over that God's going to use in Germany
38:50and I've hired a stadium and I believe
38:51God's going to use me." And then he
38:53started to retract every part of the
38:56word. Germany's probably not ready. You
38:59know, you need a lot of favor with
39:00leaders over there. You need to be very
39:02careful. How old are you? Young guy.
39:03Okay. He starts giving me that. And I
39:05walked out of that meeting and I walked
39:07down the hallway of Bethl. And because
39:08the Lord had started to deal with me, I
39:10heard God speak so strongly. He said
39:12this. You going to listen to man or you
39:13going to listen to me? You going to
39:15listen to me or
39:17man? So we went to Nuremberg. We went to
39:20the stadium that Hitler used to
39:21conscribe the youth and say join the
39:24army burning Bibles. We went there. It
39:26was the largest meeting for Jesus in
39:29Germany in 50 years. The stadium was
39:32full. The whole place was full. 2 and a
39:34half thousand Germans were saved. It was
39:37wild. Almost 30,000 people were there
39:41and they were adoring Jesus. They were
39:44shouting for 2 hours. Germans Germans
39:47were like this. Y zos yos for two hours
39:52in the same stadium. If I had have
39:55feared
39:56man, if I had have listened to the
39:59opinions of people, if God hadn't have
40:01begun to say, "Cursed is this
40:03foundation," I would have nothing to
40:05follow through with with obedience. And
40:07some of you are like that. God is
40:09telling you to obey. And you don't obey
40:12because you're worried about what people
40:14will think when you obey. You don't stop
40:17the lady at the cafe. People come to me
40:19all the time, Ben, it's easy for you to
40:20talk to people. I have a problem with
40:21that. That's lies. I hear these girls up
40:24here, they talk ladies. Oh my goodness.
40:25This is my favorite Maybelline. Have you
40:26used L'Oreal, though? L'Oreal is way
40:28better. I mean, L'Oreal is like a no-
40:30run dry. I can be in the glory just
40:31weeping and doesn't even run. You're a
40:33L'Oreal evangelist. You preach L'Oreal.
40:35You get converts. You get them saved.
40:37You k join L'Oreal. Here's your
40:39disciplehip pack with
40:40L'Oreal. You are bold. Every Christian
40:44speaks about what they're passionate
40:45about. When you're in a coffee shop, you
40:48don't go like this. You don't go,
40:49"Excuse me. Um, I ordered a triple soy.
40:52Can is it okay if I ask for a soy?" You
40:54don't do that. You're like, "Excuse me,
40:55ma'am. Ma'am, you know, you're like a
40:57you're like doing an older call." And
40:59then they're like, "But I can't speak
41:00about Jesus. I'll give me a break. Grow
41:02up." Use the same mouth that you just
41:04said. Excuse me. Double shot latte. And
41:07Jesus loves you. God has a great plan
41:09for your life. He died on the cross for
41:11you. But the fear of man will keep you
41:14bound. It'll keep you bound. You won't
41:16tell the truth. So I was in that fast
41:19and I read that scripture and I was
41:20like, "God, this is me. I have
41:23manipulated myself and I've changed who
41:25you made and I don't tell the truth as
41:27much and I know I don't and I'm trying
41:29to fit in all the time and I know that
41:31people's thoughts are always in my head.
41:32I check the the comments on Facebook all
41:34the time." And I said, "And I know I
41:36have a problem." And I said, "Now
41:37deliver me." And the Lord began to I
41:40mean he began to deliver me so
41:41thoroughly that I remember getting on
41:43planes and I got like cuz I started
41:45traveling I got this you know statuses
41:46and stuff which is cool and I get like a
41:48business class upgrade. I remember one
41:49time like my first or third time or
41:51something in business class and the seat
41:53goes all the way down like I'm not not
41:54to make you jealous but it does it goes
41:56all the way down. And so and I was down
41:57at it flatbed, you know, and the lady
41:59who sat next to me, her whole like pants
42:02looked like it was worth more than like
42:04my car and my everything. Like she was
42:06like very wealthy. And halfway through
42:08the flight, the Holy Spirit says to me,
42:10"Well, stand up on this plane and preach
42:11the gospel." And I'm like I'm like,
42:14"What do you mean?" Yeah. He said,
42:16"Stand up here." And I was like, "In
42:18business class. I'm in business class.
42:20God, I mean I'm in with the rich
42:22people." and and and I was terrified and
42:24the whole flight like I couldn't have it
42:26was the worst flight ever. I had no
42:27peace the whole time. It was like
42:28terrible. And I said, "God, please just
42:30let me do it at the end of the flight.
42:32That way like it's just not awkward when
42:33I sit back down next to the mega rich
42:35lady and I climb over a, you know, and
42:38so God was merciful. He let me go to the
42:40end of the flight and then the thing
42:41happens, you know, the seat belts come
42:42off and then I'm like, "Oh my goodness."
42:44And my heart was just jumping and I was
42:46like this. I was like,
42:48"Hello, hello business class people.
42:51What an amazing flight that was. And uh
42:54and I started just to to I was like um
42:57this is going to sound weird. And then
42:58all of a sudden God took over me. And I
43:00said, "Some of you are storing up
43:02treasures on earth, but there's
43:04emptiness in your heart. Do you realize
43:06you're made for more than emptiness?"
43:07And I said, "Some of you, you know, all
43:09that you're working for is just going to
43:10be left to a 2-in signature at the
43:12bottom of a will. But God thinks you're
43:15worth more." I said, "Jesus thinks
43:16you're worth dying for. God cares about
43:18you. He has a plan for your life." and
43:19and all of a sudden I feel like and then
43:21I just stopped and then the boldness
43:23kind of fell off or something and then
43:24they're just looking at me and I'm like
43:26oh I didn't know what to do and so I was
43:28just like and I looked at the lady open
43:29the door open the door now you know the
43:31lady and yeah and and God was stretching
43:35my
43:36boldness and then another time I was
43:39here in America flying to Washington you
43:40know where the government is the
43:41Washington place and I was flying and I
43:44was in the plane and the Lord said stand
43:46up in the plane and sing a worship song
43:49to me and he put the song in first. No,
43:51sorry. It happened like this first. I
43:53was half asleep and I heard that song,
43:55that old hymn, you know. Okay, good.
43:57She's getting delivered. Praise the
43:58Lord. Um, that's just wait 5 minutes.
44:00You got five more minutes left to say
44:01goodbye to the spirit of fear. You have
44:03a have a good 5
44:04minutes. So, God put this song, this old
44:08hymn. He said like it was like how great
44:10is our God or something. And I was like,
44:11wow, I love that hymn. I missed that
44:12hymn. And then he said stand up and sing
44:14it. I'm like that's not the Lord. No
44:16way. That's not the Lord. The Lord knows
44:17my voice. And anyway, as the plane is
44:20landing again, he said, "You are going
44:22to sing it, son." I'm like, "God, why
44:24would I sing a song at Washington? Why
44:26would I do that? I'll get on the CIA
44:28list." And I and he said, "No." He said,
44:30"Son, sing it. Please sing it for me."
44:32And I was like, I said, "Hello." And I
44:34use this excuse sometimes. I go, "I'm
44:36from Australia." In other words, in
44:38other words, I'm doing something stupid
44:40and that's where I'm coming from. And so
44:43I started saying, you know, I just want
44:45to sing something to you. You should
44:46have seen the people looking at me like,
44:48"Okay, fruitc cake sing." And I was like
44:51this. Um, I'm a Christian and I kid you
44:54not, this is how it came out. You can
44:55watch the video in heaven. It came out
44:56like this. Uh, and all will see how
45:00great. And the people were looking at me
45:02like this, like shut up. You know, and
45:05the stewardess lady, I think she was
45:07like, man, this we have to help this
45:08guy. He's probably mentally not the
45:10best. And I was like, oh, we'll see how
45:14great. And then, but their faces were
45:15too much me. So I started to look up,
45:17how great is our God. And then I opened
45:21my eyes and I saw two women on both
45:23sides of the aisle
45:24crying, both of them. And then I turned
45:27and then and then at the very end of it,
45:28how great is our God? I said that that's
45:31the end. And then the whole plane
45:32started cheering and I was like, my
45:35goodness, I should have taken up an
45:36offering, but they're all cheering. I
45:38turn around from the plane and I was and
45:42I told the students again and I
45:43literally ran. And you know that thing,
45:45the concourse, I ran out of it, but God
45:47said to me, I said later, "Why did you
45:49do that to me?" I said, "Why?" I said,
45:51"This is a little too much now. I really
45:53am trying to be fear free." And I said,
45:55"But I don't want to do this anymore.
45:56Can't we just make an agreement? I am
45:57fear
45:59free. I don't want to do it." And the
46:02Lord said to me, "Son, you didn't do
46:04that for you. Your freedom, your fear,
46:06it's not about you. Yours isn't either.
46:09The gospel isn't about just me. It's not
46:11about little Ben's comfort zone. I can't
46:13live in the air or in the corner of my
46:15life and just go, I just want to be a
46:16comfortable Christian. Yeah, you can be
46:17comfortable, but you won't change
46:19history. And so he said to me, I said,
46:21why did you have me sing that old song?
46:22He said, there were women and men who
46:24went to Sunday school as children who
46:26sung that song to me as children. And he
46:28said, I wanted you to remind them of
46:29what they tasted in Sunday school. Now,
46:32God's wisdom is higher than
46:35ours. So, I'm about to pray for you in
46:37just a second. And the Lord began to
46:40really challenge me and make me fear
46:41free to the point where I said yesterday
46:43where I got invited to speak to two
46:44European presidents. And before I went
46:46to speak to them, guess what I did? I
46:48went there and dressed up in a suit and
46:50told them all about my flashy ministry.
46:51No, I sat in front of God and said, "Use
46:54me. Speak through me whatever you want,
46:56no matter how harsh, no matter how
46:58clear." So I wrote down all these
47:00things. I sat with this president three
47:02uh in March. And this president ended up
47:04balling in the chancellory office
47:06balling because they said, "You could
47:09never have known what you told me
47:10there." And I said, "Right, but God knew
47:12it." But God had shown me if I wasn't
47:14fearfree, I would have been corrupted.
47:16You see, I would have pulled that
47:17influence to myself, done a nice little
47:19Instagram. You notice it's not on my
47:20Instagram because it wasn't about Ben
47:23Fitzgerald. It wasn't about my fear of
47:24man. It was about Jesus being his
47:26kingdom extending. And that's the the
47:29same with you guys. like what's
47:30happening in your heart with everyone's
47:31opinions and everyone's thoughts or
47:32you're in a home group. You lead a home
47:34group and you want to step out in prayer
47:35and pray for deliverance, but you can't
47:37cuz you're afraid if you say, "I think
47:38it could be demonic. That person will be
47:40massively offended." Yeah, maybe they
47:43will be offended, but they'll be
47:44offended into freedom. You need to
47:46understand the kingdom doesn't move with
47:48fear. The kingdom is crippled with fear.
47:51And I want to tell you and show you
47:52before we pray. Put your hand up if this
47:55message is speaking to you. Watch how
47:56many hands. Look, look around. Look at
47:58that. Put your hand up the other hand if
48:00this message is relates to you. If it
48:02relates to you. Okay, now you have both
48:04hands up now. Surrender die. All right.
48:07But see how many of you get plagued with
48:09these kind of thoughts. Wouldn't it be
48:11amazing if you started to jump out of
48:12that into the freedom of God? All right.
48:15Now, I'm going to go after deliverance.
48:16Okay. Now, I want to qualify what
48:18happens here cuz I cried out to God and
48:20the scriptures say very clearly, God has
48:21not given you a
48:23What is it? A
48:25No, no, you went to the next verse. I
48:27said, what is it? A it's a spirit. So
48:30demons of fear the house of God.
48:32Spirits of rejections you. You
48:34might have had one for 20 years. Get rid
48:36of it today. Have the divorce party with
48:38it. You don't need it. You're not
48:40rejected. You've made being accepted in
48:42the beloved. You are God's special part
48:44of the diamond of Jesus the way he
48:46manifests himself. You don't need to
48:47start acting like everybody else.
48:49Listen, if two of you become identical
48:51in this world, one of you is unnecessary
48:53here. Randy Clark is necessary, but so
48:56am I. I look at Ry's gifts now and I'm
48:58like, "Praise the Lord that God made
49:00Randy Randy and praise God, he made me
49:01me." What's happening here? Okay.

49:42read them. I actually think Rodney Hog
49:44has a great book about deliverance. Be
49:46really cool to if you can get some more
49:48of that. I call them, let's say, like
49:50this, Cllingons. I had a spirit in my
49:53soul. Not in my spirit. Not in my born
49:55again nature, but in my soul. And we're
49:57a three-part person. We have a body. We
49:59have a soul. We have a spirit. And I had
50:01let demons of fear in. So, are you ready
50:04to let them out? Now, what will happen
50:07when I pray? I can promise you it will
50:09be strong and violent. God gave me God
50:11gave me a unique I'm not talking about
50:13me, but he gave me a faith that when I
50:15pray a bit like this dude called Carlos
50:16Anaconia, I believe they'll just come
50:18out. But here's my preparation for you.
50:20People do this sometimes. They go and
50:23they're like this. They're basically
50:25operating in the fear of man while
50:26they're being delivered of the fear of
50:27man. They're like, "Ah, yeah, that's
50:29out. I think it's out." Yeah. Let go.
50:32Cut ties with it. Repent of it. Get rid
50:36of it. And let the Lord deliver you now.
50:38And for those of you who are like, "Wa,
50:40this is full on. It's a lot of
50:41deliverance." Rejoice in it. Go. Praise
50:43the Lord. We're kicking these demons out
50:44of the room. This afternoon and tonight
50:47will be a much better service. Less
50:49demons, more
50:51heaven. Okay, close your eyes. Close
50:54your eyes. Are you ready? There's people
50:55all the way at the back. Close your
50:57eyes. Pray this with me. Say, "Dear Lord
51:00Jesus, Dear Lord Jesus, I repent. I
51:03repent. And I cut my ties. I cut my
51:06ties. With the demon spirits of fear,
51:08with demon spirits of fear, with soulish
51:11fear of man, soulish spirit of man. And
51:13with demonic powers of rejection, and
51:15with demonic powers of rejection, I
51:17renounce the fear of man. I renounce
51:19fear. And I command any hidden spirit
51:23manipulation of my identity manipulation
51:25of my identity. Any way that I have
51:27changed
51:29to be restored to be restored and be
51:32delivered be delivered. Okay, I'm going
51:34to pray for you now. Let go. In the name
51:36of Jesus Christ, I command every hidden
51:39spirit in this room, get out now.
51:41Spirits of fear, get out of their life
51:43now. I said leave. You have no authority
51:45to be here. Get out of this room now in
51:49Jesus' name. I said leave him.
51:53Leave. Get out right now in the
51:55authority of the name of Jesus. I
51:58command hidden spirits of fear to
52:01leave. All these manipulative controls,
52:04get out of their life in Jesus name. Get
52:08out of their life in Jesus name.

52:14Let go. And some of you, it's a demon.
52:15Others of you, it's just a mindset. Not
52:17everything's a demon. But let go. I'm
52:20going to come over

52:24the name of Jesus. I command you, evil
52:26spirit, get out of that girl's life now.
52:29Get out of these people's lives now. I
52:32said leave. Leave them. Leave in Jesus

53:01control, everything that's locked you up
53:03inside, get out of their life and get
53:05out of their mind now in Jesus name.
