111. 5:25others I guess there's so many levels
112. 5:27you can interpret this
113. 5:30um really but on the face of it I take
114. 5:33it as Pride um you know they say pride
115. 5:37comes before four which also comes from
116. 5:39the Bible
117. 5:41um
118. 5:43and yeah doing what's pleasing in God's
119. 5:46eyes isn't about seeking validation and
120. 5:50seeking to be better than the other
121. 5:52person see to be neighbor um and let
122. 5:55alone family and trying to do good to be
123. 5:59SE seen to do good you know you do good
124. 6:01to do good not to be seen to do good um
125. 6:06so yeah there's lots of
126. 6:07levels uh to this um you know I won't
127. 6:10profess to know them all you know I
128. 6:12think it's probably one of the stories
129. 6:14that's most analyzed in the Bible so I'm
130. 6:17going to take it is that for me from
131. 6:20what I'm taking from it today and I
132. 6:22guess even in these times with social
133. 6:24media and influencers and all that we
134. 6:26can look at other people and you know we
135. 6:28do one wanty you know we want what
136. 6:31they've got we want to be like them you
137. 6:33know I want to be an influencer I want
138. 6:35to be this I want to be that I want to
139. 6:36be seen to be the best at everything
140. 6:39that you do do you know what I mean and
141. 6:41it's all vanity it's all Pride it's all
142. 6:43trying to impress other people um but
143. 6:47actually what's our inner lives like
144. 6:49what's our inner spirituality like
145. 6:51what's our inner um contentment like you
146. 6:54know are we happy at the end of the day
147. 6:57after acquiring all these things and
148. 6:59doing all these achievements etc etc you
149. 7:03know even me you know I've you know my
150. 7:05profession I'm I'm a professor I'm a PhD
151. 7:08doctor you know and do all these things
152. 7:11and busy etc etc but actually none of
153. 7:15that means anything because it all has
154. 7:18to be stripped back to the heart and
155. 7:20what who are we are we happy are we
156. 7:23content with ourselves stripping back
157. 7:26all the accolades all the awards and all
158. 7:28that sort of stuff what's at the core
159. 7:30what's underneath that what's underlying
160. 7:32it and I guess also why do we do the
161. 7:35things that we do is it because we want
162. 7:37to be seen and validated and applauded
163. 7:41or are we doing it for a higher purpose
164. 7:43or you know why do we do the things that
165. 7:46we do what's the ultimate game what's
166. 7:48the ultimate aim really what are we
167. 7:51seeking so I'm leaving this is big open
168. 7:54questions and um yeah I ask them as much
169. 7:57to myself not necessarily asking them to
170. 8:00anyone else but the whole thing of yeah
171. 8:03keeping up with the Joneses keeping up
172. 8:05with other people you know when the only
173. 8:07people we should be kind of you know
174. 8:10keep keeping up with is or wanting to
175. 8:14impress wanting to um be in the service
176. 8:18of is the almighty God yesus christas
177. 8:22our Lord and savior and all those ones
178. 8:26that bring and shine our light to the
179. 8:28ones in the most high you know mother
180. 8:30Mary of God and for these few words I
181. 8:34give thanks blessed love you have a good
