- 0:00Bang. Hello everyone.
- 0:03[laughter] It's so weird. We're back.
- 0:05What a what a How do I even highlight
- 0:08this situation? GBB, we're back, right?
- 0:11Um for the people that are avid to
- 0:13watching it, you will already know about
- 0:15all of the uh results. And for people
- 0:17[snorts] that aren't, um I can break it
- 0:20down in the stream, but so expect
- 0:22spoilers. I don't really want to talk
- 0:24like micro details about battles and
- 0:27stuff because obviously all the videos
- 0:28will come out and I'll do loads of um
- 0:31analysis and stuff. I'm a return to
- 0:33battle now. So I'm I'm a new school. All
- 0:35right. First up, I'm a new schooler. You
- 0:37know, it's been a long time that I've
- 0:39been old school. [laughter]
- 0:43[gasps] So I'm a new school. I'm new
- 0:45school now. Maybe I've never received
- 0:47this much hate, which is mental to me
- 0:50because I just kind of smashed it. Tag
- 0:54teams, we didn't make it. We didn't
- 0:56pass. Solo second and crew second. So, I
- 1:01think the the hate comes from not
- 1:03winning, but you're not in my shoes.
- 1:06When I said you're not in my shoes,
- 1:08you're just not you're not in my life.
- 1:10You know, I honestly the only parent I
- 1:13know that's entered solo in a big battle
- 1:16is Napom last year. He had a I loved his
- 1:19limb, but he lost in the top eight to
- 1:21black roll. That [ __ ] is wild. I have to
- 1:23admit the fact that I even got on the
- 1:26stage and battled is almost miraculous
- 1:30under the circumstance of being a parent
- 1:32without a support system as well, I want
- 1:35to add. So essentially, it's just me and
- 1:37my partner. That's the first massive
- 1:39hurdle and difference in circumstance.
- 1:42Can you believe honestly? Listen, right,
- 1:44I will chat everything. I'll address the
- 1:46hate I'm getting. But like, how can you
- 1:48hate that bad? Like, was there not was
- 1:51that not entertainment? Was that was
- 1:53there not was that not peak? [ __ ] me. I
- 1:56just want you to think in my eyes and my
- 1:58brain for a sec. Yeah. So, this clearly
- 2:00means a [ __ ] ton in the beatbox scene.
- 2:03And I feel honored. I feel like a lot of
- 2:06pressure, nervous, excited, and all of
- 2:08the emotions to represent Beatbox and be
- 2:11able to change the game to some respect.
- 2:13So, I don't take that honor lightly, and
- 2:15I try my best. However, I just want you
- 2:17to know that I'm just a guy that's
- 2:19raising my kid, living my life, feeling
- 2:22pretty good, and thinking, "Oh man,
- 2:24there's this event coming this week. I'm
- 2:26going to get up on the stage and kill
- 2:27it." And then, and that's it. And then
- 2:29the dust settles, and I'm back to
- 2:30holding my kid, and life is different
- 2:32and continues. So, the extent of what
- 2:35this event is and means is very low.
- 2:38It's just it's it's a fun project. So,
- 2:40that's a bit of context I I want you to
- 2:43know. And just think about that. I'm
- 2:44different. It's different now. I'm not a
- 2:46young one that can commit everything to
- 2:49it. I just want to make people happy and
- 2:51and make myself happy. Uh would your
- 2:53baby [laughter]
- 2:55Would your baby beat River for revenge?
- 3:00I loved that. [ __ ] me, man. Um, right.
- 3:04So, thoughts on the seven of smoke.
- 3:06Yeah, I'm happy I didn't watch loads of
- 3:07it cuz everyone in that building got ill
- 3:10basically and I I didn't really I
- 3:12weren't there. I was outside um and I'm
- 3:15not ill so I'm pretty happy. What do you
- 3:18think of Wing versus Cfish? Didn't watch
- 3:19it was backstage.
- 3:25People look like they reacted. I was
- 3:27forced backstage, literally held hostage
- 3:29backstage two and a half hours before I
- 3:32have to go on stage just to make sure it
- 3:33all goes smooth, which by the way is a
- 3:35sacrifice that I would do. So, I'll talk
- 3:38about that. Right, we're here. So, let's
- 3:39chat. Um, I on a plane 2-hour flight.
- 3:42I've had to fly to Japan for these
- 3:43events. Now, I'm going to Poland. Easy
- 3:45light work. Um, how we doing? Right,
- 3:48we're doing good because I am feeling
- 3:50good. I've got my prep done. I listened
- 3:53to a lot of my voice notes. Realized
- 3:56that I had about
- 3:58150 I would say 150 routines and the
- 4:03ultimate challenge was I could only do
- 4:06seven. Can you imagine that ratio? 7 out
- 4:08of 150 is a little bit mindnumbing. Um,
- 4:12in terms of routine, we're talking about
- 4:13like a core frame. So, we're talking
- 4:16about something that has a minute of
- 4:18exclusive material. So trying to pick
- 4:21150 down to 7 was the impossible task. I
- 4:24know it sounds crazy, but for months
- 4:26that's become normal in my head. It
- 4:27sounds almost like funny to say out
- 4:30loud, but that's the truth. Uh, and it's
- 4:32on the more than that side as well. I'm
- 4:34trying to pick seven out of 150 odd. Um,
- 4:38it's a massive whirlwind. Um, I am not
- 4:41desperate like desperation to win and
- 4:45only win. Merciless direction only win.
- 4:48Uh, I'm not that. I am I want to enjoy
- 4:51it and I want to smack I said to you to
- 4:54this, I want to smash people up. I want
- 4:56to batter people in a battle. Get me ass
- 4:58handed to me. Batter people and just
- 5:01have a good one. So, I've made the sets.
- 5:02I'm happy with them. Um, I landed on
- 5:04them with the help of my mates. Just
- 5:06roll with some some of the some of the
- 5:09the ones I picked were the highest level
- 5:11and some were a mixed level. Just want
- 5:13to do them. We've locked the in for the
- 5:16tag team. Really? We locked in this
- 5:18year. So, big up to me and Frosty for
- 5:20locking in. I'll talk more about that.
- 5:22And the crew, we've got our sets ready.
- 5:23We're ready to roll. So, get there, see
- 5:26everyone. Lose my mind at how many
- 5:28people were there. I couldn't believe
- 5:30how many of the the scene actually were
- 5:32there. Um, of course, it's a GBB. There
- 5:35are loads are going to be there, but and
- 5:36I was thinking, man, beatbox house, the
- 5:38only ones missing really. And then Chris
- 5:40and Jean show up, my guys. I'm like,
- 5:43what? Everyone's flipping here. I was
- 5:44like, mate, though. Oh, mate's here.
- 5:46Everyone's here. Every every beatboxer
- 5:49in their dog was at this event. So, I'm
- 5:52just chilling. Just keeping relatively
- 5:55chill. Have a couple beers on the first
- 5:56night. Chill with mates. Catch up. Have
- 5:58fun. Next day, pretty chill again. Doing
- 6:01some media. Doing a bit of for the
- 6:03video. Bang. Doing a sound check for the
- 6:05crew. Day three is the first of the
- 6:08event. So, my 3-day breakdown of the
- 6:10event goes like this. Day one, tag team
- 6:12elimination. Solo and crew elimination.
- 6:15Day three, every battle, every category.
- 6:18Little bit of a low up to the
- 6:19organization for that. That is not fun
- 6:22being a multicategory participant. Also,
- 6:24the cruise has previously been on a
- 6:26different day. So, I thought that I'd be
- 6:27able to get some of that energy out a
- 6:29different day. Uh, another thing is what
- 6:31you don't understand is the context
- 6:33matters than the paper reality. So, you
- 6:36can see results of things, look at it,
- 6:39and make assumptions and that's that.
- 6:41But things that are different that you
- 6:43don't think about are the following.
- 6:45Imagine performing after some energy and
- 6:47doing another performance. Imagine
- 6:48they're all skewed as well. So in my
- 6:51case, if you for anyone that's watched
- 6:53all of the stuff I did, imagine that I
- 6:55did verbal damage backyard [ __ ] and
- 6:59then less than an hour later is solo
- 7:01elimination. I have to do my song. The
- 7:04conflict of energy is actually I would
- 7:07go highly
- 7:09big. Like not even moderate. I would say
- 7:11that's extreme. And the way you have to
- 7:13perform and do it to two 3,000 people,
- 7:16three categories as well. I'm doing
- 7:18three categories and I'm going the
- 7:20distance and giving it all. Uh yeah. So
- 7:22that's um that was there's different
- 7:24context. Also, dry mouth, whether you
- 7:26have it or not, you can't tell. And it
- 7:28makes a unescribable
- 7:31difference. You only know once you've
- 7:34gone through that. So for any beatboxers
- 7:36that have genuinely got on stage and
- 7:38discovered the drym mouth problem,
- 7:40you've hit a reality, right? We no
- 7:42different to the people that have not
- 7:43done that. It's a different world when
- 7:45that happens. Things happen that you
- 7:46wouldn't believe. Um, all right. So
- 7:48anyway, we get there. Day one, it's the
- 7:50tag team. Day two, it's solo and crew.
- 7:53Day three, it's all the battles. The day
- 7:56after the final is the seven to smoke
- 7:58day. So it's a separate event. It's a
- 8:00seven to smoke format um where eight
- 8:03people battle and someone the first one
- 8:05to win seven battles in total and like
- 8:07the winner stays on, right? And the
- 8:09first one to win seven wins the whole
- 8:11thing. Uh and then the day after that I
- 8:12went home. I chilled that day and then
- 8:14went home. So that was my structure of
- 8:17events. Got home at about midnight and
- 8:19just grabbed Rege. It's been a week, you
- 8:21know. I'm just elated to see my kid. Um
- 8:24[snorts]
- 8:24so dad life since then. I've returned to
- 8:27the gym. have not been able to go for a
- 8:30couple months pretty much. Event
- 8:32opinions. I have to tell you to be
- 8:33honest. I have to say this GBB was
- 8:36wicked. It's no doubt about it. It was
- 8:39just simply wicked. Was it without its
- 8:42problems? No. There was there was
- 8:45problems but not many and not of any
- 8:48kind of severity. Happy with it all. GBB
- 8:51returning to Europe came with a
- 8:54hesitancy or a skepticism about have has
- 8:58the organization quality in things that
- 9:00have been a bit problematic previously.
- 9:03Have they been addressed and changed
- 9:04since the Japanese time? The answer is
- 9:07truly yes. They did a wicked job.
- 9:10Honestly, everyone they got employed and
- 9:12involved in the hundreds totally smashed
- 9:15it. I have to go like that. I do
- 9:17honestly to everyone involved for the
- 9:19GBB26.
- 9:21I just want to give my respect and and
- 9:23appreciation for that. Thank you for the
- 9:25pleasant event. Honored to be involved.
- 9:27The structure for someone that's
- 9:29battling multiple categories was tough
- 9:31to take. Like had I passed the tag team,
- 9:33I was cooked. And I said and I knew it.
- 9:35I to you guys it doesn't sound like
- 9:37much. Just do three categories, just do
- 9:39a few battles. Trust me, when you're
- 9:41when you have a stature and an
- 9:42expectation and a status like I do, and
- 9:45I'm supposed to deliver what you hope is
- 9:47a 10 out of 10 all the time. Three
- 9:50categories, multiple rounds, multiple
- 9:51categories, all in one day, all within
- 9:53hours. Guys,
- 9:56it's very insane to do that. It's
- 9:58insanely hard. And also to add the
- 10:01context, being a parent, being a busy
- 10:03man. Yeah, busy stuff. Still gave my
- 10:06best. What was your proudest moment on
- 10:08stage? And if you could go back and do
- 10:09something different for any category,
- 10:11what would it be? There's the few
- 10:12answers that came into my head, but I
- 10:14think the proudest one was winning the
- 10:16solo quarterfinal. Me versus Footbox,
- 10:19win that battle. There's it's close. I'm
- 10:21not sure that's the actual answer, but
- 10:23it's the first one. And the other
- 10:24question is, if you could go back and do
- 10:26something different for any category,
- 10:27what would it be? All right. So, if it's
- 10:29tag team, it's push harder. If it's
- 10:31crew, it's really check the mic levels
- 10:33cuz we were skeptical. And if it's solo,
- 10:36it's yeah, not a lot. I'm going to say
- 10:39it's the tag team and it's just push a
- 10:42bit more. Get that spot in the battle.
- 10:44That's what I would do differently. I
- 10:46also must say getting on the stage for
- 10:48free categories in such a short time is
- 10:50is definitely doable. It's not an
- 10:52impossible task, but the difference
- 10:54between doing it and doing it to a
- 10:56caliber that you're hoping, that's the
- 10:58biggest difference, guys. So anyway,
- 11:00it's a return for me. It's been 7 years
- 11:03since I returned to the battle stage.
- 11:05So, I have to admit that on day one and
- 11:08two, it was pretty daunting. It wasn't
- 11:11as fun as I was expecting and hoping. I
- 11:14was nervous. I was a little bit
- 11:17secondguessing things. I was excited
- 11:20though. I was excited. Doing the tag
- 11:23team elimination and the solo
- 11:25elimination was a bit uncomfortable. I
- 11:28didn't get to enjoy the moment very
- 11:30much. It actually felt quite like the
- 11:32old GBBS I competed in. kind of like a
- 11:35lock in verbal damage. We blew the lid
- 11:38off the whole thing and that was so fun.
- 11:41That was my most fun part. I swear if
- 11:44you haven't seen verbal damage
- 11:46elimination, oh my days. Uh so yeah,
- 11:49that was insane. Can't wait to see the
- 11:51vid. Little bit stressed, a little bit
- 11:52nervous, hard to enjoy the elimination
- 11:55moments. Um and then the next day we do
- 11:57the battles. Okay. Yeah, now it's more
- 12:00in my zone. Um, over the last six, five
- 12:04or so years, I've done a lot of music
- 12:06performance-based stuff and I've become
- 12:08a lot better at that. So, it does feel
- 12:11quite weird to me that I was better in
- 12:14the battles than in the elimination
- 12:16phases because I've been doing
- 12:18essentially the elimination type of
- 12:20thing for years now in my shows. Um, and
- 12:24I haven't battled once. So, how was I
- 12:26way better in battles than I was in the
- 12:28Olympics? I still something I can't
- 12:30figure out. One more question. How'd it
- 12:32feel to get the that raw crowd energy
- 12:34back on your side after seven years? Um
- 12:36I don't even know how much I've
- 12:38processed that. Definitely felt good.
- 12:40Yeah. Anyway, so the results were uh we
- 12:43came fifth in the tag team out of eight.
- 12:46I feel like we came like sixth. So I
- 12:49seen fifth and thought that's not even
- 12:51that bad. We obviously wanted to pass.
- 12:54We obviously did. We made the set in the
- 12:56hopes to pass. We didn't land the set as
- 12:58good as we could. We came into our wild
- 13:00card set at the end of it in a lower
- 13:02key, so it made the whole thing lose a
- 13:04bit of energy. And we just I wasn't
- 13:06loose. I wasn't in the zone for it.
- 13:09Unfortunately, I was in the zone more
- 13:11for the solo. And I relatively nailed
- 13:14the arrangement, the placements, and the
- 13:16breath control. The pitch control,
- 13:19however, wasn't as strong. And that's
- 13:21[ __ ] because I've got much better at
- 13:23that. So, I don't actually know why I
- 13:26didn't I don't know. I This is the the
- 13:30solo limb is the biggest question mark
- 13:32in my head because I will spit you some
- 13:34unfiltered facts. Okay, I will I will be
- 13:38unfiltered and honest as transparent as
- 13:40possible to you guys down the camera. My
- 13:43solo elimination is so much better. I
- 13:46think I've got a decent gauge of beatbox
- 13:49perhaps. I don't know how much of a good
- 13:51gauge I have on my own stuff, but the
- 13:55reality of that set compared to what I
- 13:57shown in the lim is a major difference.
- 14:01Like the tag limb is not a million miles
- 14:03better than what we delivered. We just
- 14:05delivered it a bit not good, but the
- 14:08solo limb in my opinion is really good.
- 14:12Um, I just didn't land it. Pitches were
- 14:15not perfect. And I think this plays a
- 14:18bigger part than I realize. The
- 14:20pressure, the expectation is insane. I
- 14:23think there's never been more
- 14:26anticipation in beatbox battle history
- 14:29than my elimination because that is
- 14:32precisely 7 years later with no event
- 14:35returning to the same stage in the same
- 14:37moment and elimination. Now, I've
- 14:41obtained a fantastic status with my
- 14:43beatbox over these years. So, what I
- 14:45imagine is people were expecting a 10
- 14:48out of 10. Minds are blown cuz I've
- 14:51stepped back on the stage. And the
- 14:53reality is I did a track. So, I do think
- 14:56I weren't going to live up to the
- 14:57expectation regardless. Even if I
- 15:00murdered my elimination, I still think
- 15:02people would have gone, "Yeah, but that
- 15:03ain't the greatest thing I've ever seen.
- 15:04Must be the greatest deal." You know,
- 15:06that's the kind of thing I have to take
- 15:07on the on the chin really. So, I do
- 15:10think the expectation dampened the set a
- 15:12little bit, which I'm sad about, but
- 15:14it's I also think that I could have
- 15:16delivered it with a better energy if I
- 15:19enjoyed the moment more. I was focused
- 15:21on locking in, making sure I didn't
- 15:23fluff this limb up cuz we messed up the
- 15:25tag team one. So, I did the elimination.
- 15:27By the way, for the ones that don't
- 15:29know, I got seventh place. So, I made it
- 15:31in quite closely, not nearly out. Um, I
- 15:36wanted top four. I designed it to make
- 15:38the top four and I got seventh. That's a
- 15:41bit of a harsh reality. Um, a bit of a
- 15:43return to reality for me. It's not a
- 15:46great ranking. At the same time, I'm
- 15:48obviously happy to be in. Then it's a
- 15:50nightmare scenario for the battlers, for
- 15:52the other participants, unless they
- 15:54think I'm [ __ ] But you don't want to
- 15:56see me nearly out. Like, if you're
- 15:58wanting to battle and you're wanting to
- 16:00win, you want to see I was on the other
- 16:02side of that and got like ninth. And it
- 16:04was particularly rough for second place,
- 16:07which was Footbox G. Because your
- 16:09efforts of getting doing an insane limb,
- 16:12getting second place, your reward,
- 16:15seventh place. Who's that? Me. That
- 16:17ain't fun for anyone. Even people that
- 16:20think they can batter me. It's just not
- 16:22fun. The track record says it's not fun.
- 16:24Like I came in with a big win streak,
- 16:26you know? Um, so that's not ideal. It's
- 16:29my fault. I will release the track, the
- 16:32elimination track. I will release it and
- 16:34deliver it in a better way. For the
- 16:36people that think I should have ranked
- 16:37higher, thank you. For the people that
- 16:39think I should have ranked lower,
- 16:40understandable. Honestly, it's a bit sad
- 16:43to say this. It is a bit sad, but I'm
- 16:44just I like being honest. I think my
- 16:46favorite part of the solo limb was
- 16:48getting it done, getting over the hill
- 16:51of the return. I don't recommend taking
- 16:53seven years out the game. [laughter]
- 16:55I don't recommend that. So, we go into
- 16:57the next day, battle day, right? though
- 16:59all eggs go into the solo basket because
- 17:02our crew stuff is tied up. I know my
- 17:04layers. We didn't deliver strong in the
- 17:06crew. One of my only small amount of
- 17:08hitbacks in the event was the sound of
- 17:11the crew and ours particular our side
- 17:14our mics. We did do a pretty thorough
- 17:17sound check, but I'm not sure we did it
- 17:19thorough enough. I do feel like our mics
- 17:21might have been a little bit lesser. Um,
- 17:24but I'm not 100% on that and I'm not too
- 17:26salty about it either. But the overall
- 17:28sound for crew was a little bit lesser.
- 17:31Uh naturally that might be because it's
- 17:34the wireless mics. But the fe the
- 17:36response from the crowd was that the
- 17:38sound wasn't popping off as much. I'm
- 17:40designing. I'm changing up the script.
- 17:42I'm designing. I've got my rounds. I've
- 17:43got a a plan. I am relatively prepared.
- 17:46I'm prepared in a different way. I
- 17:47wanted to return to battling in a
- 17:49different manner. I'm not serious. I'm
- 17:51going to be real. And this is a really
- 17:53really this is like a the clippable part
- 17:55of my stream. I don't give a [ __ ] about
- 17:58traditional desperation for beatbox
- 18:00battles. I find it actually a little bit
- 18:03tired and cringey at this point about
- 18:06making your sound to the perfect second.
- 18:08Um, I wanted to bring something
- 18:10different, something that could be
- 18:11inspired by and something that people go
- 18:13rah when they see it. I'm happy with
- 18:15every single piece of my solo, every
- 18:18single bit of it. And I have to tell you
- 18:21truthfully, I am I [snorts] am not even
- 18:23slightly, that's not even the right
- 18:24word. I am quite largely shocked by how
- 18:29much controversy there seems to be from
- 18:32my final battles. Now, what I've come to
- 18:35realize is that my second round wasn't
- 18:38interpreted correctly, how it should be.
- 18:42So, for that, a part of that is on me. I
- 18:45should have done a more blatant way of
- 18:47proving my my intention in the second
- 18:50round, but the ones that were there live
- 18:53have a very differing opinion to the
- 18:55online. So, first and foremost, fair
- 18:57play to the people getting out to the
- 18:58event live and checking out everything.
- 19:00You support us as battlers and it's all
- 19:02for you guys. We do whatever we can for
- 19:04you live. But some of the things I got
- 19:07received from the live the solo final
- 19:10was this is the greatest battle of the
- 19:12night I got from pros saying this is the
- 19:15greatest solo battle they've ever seen
- 19:18and I also got off the final stage
- 19:21elated at my performance. I was well
- 19:24happy with what I did. So, it was so
- 19:28surreal to get such a great response
- 19:32from the moment and the live to then
- 19:35results announced and seeing the
- 19:38online's retaliation. All I can do is
- 19:41say it must be so different live than
- 19:46how it seemed in video. It really has to
- 19:49be because honestly, me and River were
- 19:51just hugging. We couldn't believe how
- 19:53good we both did and thought we did and
- 19:55everyone thought we did. I wouldn't have
- 19:57changed anything. But that solo final is
- 20:00a whole new talking discussion point.
- 20:03And when the video comes out, I'll be
- 20:05able to talk about it in all the micro
- 20:07details. The sound of the event in
- 20:08general was good. It was not the best
- 20:10one, but how come on? How are we
- 20:12supposed to set a realistic expectation?
- 20:14Greatest sound you've ever heard. There
- 20:16was a little bit of impact missing, but
- 20:18a massive part of that was the fact that
- 20:20they had to cap the decibel volume in
- 20:22the venue because authorities were going
- 20:25to be getting involved if the venue was
- 20:26too loud. It's not a traditionally music
- 20:29only venue. It was also used for like
- 20:31boxing and and sport events. So, we were
- 20:34being as loud as the venue could get,
- 20:36but the solo energy in the battles
- 20:38really ramped it up for everyone. Uh,
- 20:40that's a brief summary of the of the
- 20:42battles and the event. So, I had to
- 20:44battle Footbox G, then I had to battle
- 20:46Black Roll, then I had to battle River.
- 20:48Did they give it to me easy? Obviously
- 20:50not. Did I know that? Obviously, I
- 20:52weren't going to get an easy battle.
- 20:54Have you seen that lineup? Of course, I
- 20:55weren't going to get an easy battle. Um,
- 20:57and I have to say one more thing as
- 20:59well. It was a little bit strange the
- 21:01response and it says many things, but I
- 21:05got a lot of console when I didn't win.
- 21:07So, I didn't win, right? And people come
- 21:10up to me after. So, we're talking about
- 21:11the pro beat boxers, the the friends,
- 21:13the fans, um, and the online. And it'll
- 21:16coming up like this. Ah, man. Yo,
- 21:20[snorts]
- 21:21and and it feels so weird because
- 21:23there's two pieces of context in my
- 21:25head. So, I want you guys to listen in
- 21:27properly. First one, I'm so happy with
- 21:30my performance. So happy is that I
- 21:33actually thought I won the final. If
- 21:35you've battled or not, if you think
- 21:36you've done enough to win and you feel
- 21:38good in yourself, how can you really
- 21:40hate what you did? First and foremost, I
- 21:42loved it and I was so happy with
- 21:45smashing the comp and making the crowd
- 21:48go mental.
- 21:51Every battle, almost every moment, uh,
- 21:54I'm making impacts. So, I'm so happy
- 21:57with that. Um, and then the second piece
- 22:00of context, which is really important
- 22:02here, is something very different. I
- 22:05wasn't desperate to win. I wanted to
- 22:07win, but I didn't need to. So, to my
- 22:11surprise, I wasn't so disheartened when
- 22:14I lost the final. And the reason that's
- 22:16a surprise to me is because previously
- 22:19it's meant every pictogram of my brain
- 22:22to win. This time round, I was just
- 22:26happy that I proved my level through the
- 22:29comp. It's all funny to call me a goat.
- 22:32It's all funny to say I'm a battle king.
- 22:34And it's all funny to say I'm [ __ ] and
- 22:36whatever you want to say. It's all
- 22:38funny. It's all theory though, isn't it?
- 22:40Because I didn't do it in so many years.
- 22:43So to get back on the stage and wipe out
- 22:47Footbox G and then take out the 800 time
- 22:51third place black roll and go and do a
- 22:54final that I am proud of to their limit.
- 22:57It says something about me that there's
- 22:59disappointment at second place. Second
- 23:03higher than inertia footbox black roll
- 23:07kaji. Honestly, you could have just took
- 23:10the pot and jumbled it and spilled out a
- 23:13different solution every time. And I I
- 23:18didn't even do [ __ ] at all. [laughter]
- 23:20I just killed it the whole way and and I
- 23:22proved to myself how good I think I am
- 23:25and hopefully to you guys. Now, if
- 23:27there's a bit of saltiness that I lost
- 23:28the final look, you're obviously holding
- 23:30a high bar to me and I just appreciate
- 23:32you for that, for thinking of me that
- 23:34way. And if you think I did [ __ ] then
- 23:36understand like you can't please
- 23:38everyone. Sorry if you think I I did
- 23:40[ __ ] in the comp. I really killed it. I
- 23:43disagree if you think I did [ __ ]
- 23:45basically. Um, but yeah, what I'm trying
- 23:47to say is the battle versus Footbox G
- 23:50did so much to my satisfaction that
- 23:54can't believe I'm saying this, but I
- 23:56just didn't care after that. I proved it
- 23:58all to myself. That one battle did it
- 24:01all. And that says a lot about Footbox G
- 24:04because he was deadly. He is top of the
- 24:08world level and I really did it.
- 24:12[laughter]
- 24:13[gasps] So I know that my hardcore fans
- 24:16would have wanted me to see a win. I get
- 24:18that. And I have to say, you know, it's
- 24:21my duty to admit I'm a very transparent
- 24:24person. I'm a very honest person. Yes, I
- 24:28could have done bone dust. I could have
- 24:31done a a different beat and got a more
- 24:34technical articulation of my set. Could
- 24:37have won the battle with a different
- 24:38beat. Truthfully, yeah, probably if I've
- 24:40got 143 routines to pick from and I only
- 24:45could pick seven of 150. Yes, of course.
- 24:48There could have been many different
- 24:49solutions to clinch the victory. That's
- 24:52the nature of the game. I didn't care to
- 24:55win the final as much as some of you
- 24:57cared for me to win it. I'm a bloke with
- 25:00a kid about to turn 30. Haven't battled
- 25:03in seven years. And I was just gassed to
- 25:07battle the best people and batter them.
- 25:10[laughter] Honestly, like I was just
- 25:13happy. So it felt so weird that people
- 25:18came up to try and console me and shake
- 25:20my hand and like ah when I've just got
- 25:22off the stage and like all the
- 25:23adrenaline and destroying beatboxers
- 25:26making drops then people are moshing
- 25:28their minds. My kids not here and that's
- 25:30too bad but these kids know that I'm
- 25:32their dad.
- 25:35Oh my days it was the atom bombs. I was
- 25:39so happy. [gasps] Yes, it it was a bit
- 25:42of sweet, you know. Of course, I want to
- 25:44win the end. I want to get the vote. Um,
- 25:46I thought it would go my way. Uh, it was
- 25:48a split decision. Uh, so that says a lot
- 25:51about philosophies. Any judge would have
- 25:54had a correct vote, voting anyway in
- 25:56that final. That final had two different
- 25:58sides of philosophy. You had a proper
- 26:01battler being responsive in the moment
- 26:04and doing a domination complex versus a
- 26:07proper battler in a different way doing
- 26:09more musical refined pieces and giving
- 26:11more uh combination information. You
- 26:14know, it really was chalk and cheese.
- 26:16You can really vote. However, I think
- 26:18that you're wrong if you think that it
- 26:20was obvious. Uh and I'll make my I'll
- 26:23plea my case. I'll talk my talk when the
- 26:25battle comes out. What doesn't seem
- 26:27right was how bad it some of you think
- 26:30or how it seemed that the I it went for
- 26:33me in the final versus how good I feel
- 26:35like it was live. There's a major
- 26:37difference here. I do realize now
- 26:39though. I didn't realize in the moment
- 26:41about the whole French streak thing. And
- 26:43I do wonder if that would have riled me
- 26:45up enough to turn up the aggression the
- 26:48aggre the aggressive stance and and shut
- 26:51the streak down. I just I was too busy
- 26:54enjoying it and locked in to remember
- 26:56that those kind of things mattered so
- 26:58much. It matters more to most of you
- 27:00than it does to me. I'm just happy to be
- 27:02involved. I'm happy to do what I can, do
- 27:05what I want. You know, it does matter
- 27:06more to you guys. I'm just happy that
- 27:08that thing happened, a piece of history
- 27:10that's now history, recent history. Uh
- 27:13happy for whatever comes next in in my
- 27:16career and life. The nature of that
- 27:18final. Oh, it's just it was just sick.
- 27:21You're just wrong if you didn't like it.
- 27:22I don't know.
- 27:24I learned something about myself as a
- 27:26beatbox battler. Don't piss me off.
- 27:28River was well nice to me. And we I know
- 27:31we were really happy to battle each
- 27:32other in the final. I was happy. Do you
- 27:34know the last time I was happy against
- 27:35Codfish? I lost. Do you know who I
- 27:38wasn't happy about? Tomz. I won. I was
- 27:40happy with Codfish. Happy that the I was
- 27:43I'm an I am I was just happy that my bro
- 27:45made the final. I was had more
- 27:47confidence than I would at the time
- 27:48because I'd done a lot of years of
- 27:50battling and [ __ ] So, I just enjoyed it
- 27:52with a mate in the final. I lost um
- 27:55battle tomas. Didn't know the guy. He's
- 27:57just a piece of battle opponent meat to
- 27:59me. So, bit more aggression and
- 28:01desperation. I won. And then back to the
- 28:04love and happiness with River in the
- 28:06final. Lost, you know. So, I learned
- 28:09something about myself there. Um, I will
- 28:11say that I think my weakest solo round
- 28:14might have been my first one in the
- 28:16final. If I had to critically rank all
- 28:18my rounds, that might have been the
- 28:20worst one, possibly. I hope that clears
- 28:22up some thoughts. I'm sad that you guys,
- 28:25a lot of the comments online, didn't
- 28:26like my second round in the final as
- 28:28much as I like my second round in the
- 28:30final. I think it was revolutionary.
- 28:32Imagine going in with a hook and telling
- 28:35everyone that you can do any beat. I
- 28:37will do it all. And that was the
- 28:39intention that was supposed to be
- 28:40delivered. And I think because the set
- 28:42was a bit too sety, it felt like a
- 28:45routine. But the reality of that round
- 28:47was, "What do you want? I can do it
- 28:49all."
- 28:52And I was prepared to do anything. I
- 28:55designed to answer everything. Right.
- 28:59But all but what I got in reality was
- 29:02nothing. And then as I pulled away, he
- 29:04did a spit snap. But I was already like
- 29:07in the in the hook now. [snorts] And the
- 29:10other response I got was the word wo.
- 29:13I was expecting bass, tech, time
- 29:16signatures, heck a ballad, country
- 29:19music. I was ready for everything.
- 29:23And what I got in reality was silence
- 29:25and wo.
- 29:28So it didn't paint a pretty picture of
- 29:29the concept, but it was designed I can
- 29:32do every beat. I can do what you think
- 29:34is my weakness. What do you think will
- 29:36make me lose? Tell me. I'll do it. I I
- 29:39I've been training for years to do
- 29:41everything that you can in beatbox. Um,
- 29:44so luckily I prepared stock rounds and I
- 29:47prepared moments for silence and and and
- 29:49stock inputs if needed and that's what I
- 29:52rolled with and I I really loved it. So,
- 29:55um, yeah. So, it did go as planned. It
- 29:58did cuz I was ready for everything. But
- 30:00imagine my opponent said something he
- 30:02they think I'm bad at. and imagine Scott
- 30:04Jackson had a more flamboyant response.
- 30:08[laughter]
- 30:10But yeah, I was ready for silence, so I
- 30:11made the hook and had a drop and I'm
- 30:13happy with it. Um, and then the latter
- 30:14drop at the end. Yeah, that was a nuke.
- 30:16That was probably the best moment in my
- 30:18solo. But what if River told you to do
- 30:20glip? Sander, I would have done glip.
- 30:22Uh, [laughter]
- 30:24oh, big up remix in the chat. Um, I said
- 30:27bro killed it in GBB. I was confused
- 30:28with the mindset of the final. Um, yeah.
- 30:31I don't know what the controversy is
- 30:33about the final. I don't know what I did
- 30:35that you people are questioning. Like,
- 30:38round one was a set with a like a funny
- 30:40skit and a big drop. Pretty solid round.
- 30:42Round two was a really good answer, a
- 30:45brazen skit with a decent drop and then
- 30:48the fattest drop and hook at the end. I
- 30:50wouldn't have changed anything. I don't
- 30:52I'm I'm fa like I hate that the thing
- 30:55I'm stumped at is my own thing. I really
- 30:58wish you guys were like hating on a zero
- 31:00wild card that I think's amazing or
- 31:03hating on something that wasn't me so it
- 31:05didn't look bias and I could just try to
- 31:07understand it and explain from a
- 31:09different lens. I hate the thing that we
- 31:11have a contrast opinion on is my own
- 31:12flipping [ __ ] cuz now it just makes me
- 31:14look like an egotistical arrogant [ __ ]
- 31:17I just I thought it was sick. Maybe
- 31:19instead of what do you want? Do you want
- 31:21you want baseline? You want flow? Maybe
- 31:23I should have just not done that and
- 31:25gone, I can do everything.
- 31:29What do you want me to do?
- 31:33Maybe I should have done that. Maybe I
- 31:34should have just been more boring and uh
- 31:36mono with it. [laughter]
- 31:39Yeah, if people wanted me to lock in and
- 31:41be serious. Cool. Don't care about doing
- 31:44the next nerdy combo. Oh my god. Yes,
- 31:46man. I could have done the NEXT
- 31:52I could have gone
- 31:55And the judges and the people. Wow. The
- 31:57complex text. I get you. I hear it. Yes.
- 32:00I could have won in a technical
- 32:02alternative stance. Maybe. Don't care.
- 32:06Couldn't care less. Just wanted to make
- 32:08people go [ __ ] nuts. [laughter]
- 32:11Just wanted to do something original. I
- 32:14didn't want to do six more combos. Yeah.
- 32:17Could have done six more combos and got
- 32:18a technical scorecard win. Maybe. I
- 32:20didn't want to. I wanted to make people
- 32:23lose their [ __ ] and do things no one's
- 32:25ever done in a battle. Asking your
- 32:27opponent, "What do you want me to do?
- 32:29What do you think I'm weak at?"
- 32:33Uh, but yeah, it came out a lot stronger
- 32:36live than live stream. I just seen that
- 32:37from Blesto. That's evident now because
- 32:39of the backlash I've got live uh online.
- 32:42There's a lot of backlash, but there's
- 32:43actually a lot of hate. I don't think
- 32:45I've ever been this hated. Didn't enter
- 32:47to want to do that. What to stress about
- 32:49the next combo? I'm bored. I've heard
- 32:52about 700 combos. I've done about 500 of
- 32:55them to get to this final. Just don't
- 32:57want to show a nerdy combo. The the non
- 33:00Beatbox fan don't care about six more
- 33:02combos. Do you know what they care
- 33:04about? Someone that says they can do
- 33:06any. And then a fat drop. [laughter]
- 33:10I wouldn't change it. Would you do done
- 33:13a backflip if he asked you? [screaming]
- 33:18That's the question.
- 33:20Oh [ __ ] [laughter]
- 33:25Oh my god. I love your I love your
- 33:27donation and question. Oh guys, oh my
- 33:31word. I did not prepare for that. I did
- 33:34not prepare for that. [laughter]
- 33:38Yeah, I would have. I haven't done a
- 33:41backflip in five plus years. I don't
- 33:44even think I can. But if River said do a
- 33:47backflip, I'd have done it. I would have
- 33:50definitely done it if he said it. I'd
- 33:53have dropped the mic, done a back flip,
- 33:55and done the second drop first, and then
- 33:58I would have done inward base one in the
- 34:01second.
- 34:02[laughter] Probably would have won.
- 34:08Oh man. Another thing I have as well is
- 34:11I've watched a lot of rap battles over
- 34:13these years and I've seen a different
- 34:16level of higher tier battling and I
- 34:19wanted to bring inspired higher tier
- 34:21battle energy all the way through the
- 34:23comp. And you know what? The beatbox
- 34:26community isn't ready. I can't believe
- 34:28I'm being this based, but I'm telling
- 34:30you the truth. The ones that didn't rate
- 34:32my round two from a beatbox technical
- 34:35perspective, I can understand. I did a
- 34:37lot of speaking, so I understand. Fair
- 34:39enough. I hold my hands to that. But
- 34:42none of you are ready for the depth of
- 34:45how um how battle can be. None of you
- 34:49are ready for the ones that think I was
- 34:51too brazen or too cocky or too arrogant
- 34:53or mean or the critiques I got for
- 34:56ripping the mic when my [ __ ] opponent
- 34:59is walking away from me when my round
- 35:02has begun.
- 35:04Beatbox battle a weren't ready. Beatbox
- 35:06community isn't ready for the highest
- 35:08tier of battling yet. If it seemed
- 35:10controversial to you, one day hopefully
- 35:14that's inspired more battle hearts to
- 35:16come out. And one day you'll see it all
- 35:18and realize, but right now I'm
- 35:21delivering a different tier of what a
- 35:23battle can be and what it should be in
- 35:26my opinion. And I don't think that the
- 35:28community is ready because some of the
- 35:31responses I got for some of the things I
- 35:33did and some of the feedback, by the
- 35:35way, again, I do this live stream with
- 35:38no filter. Some of the responses I got
- 35:40from the judges even make me realize
- 35:43that even the judgment and the people
- 35:46aren't ready to articulate battle at a
- 35:49higher perspective. There you go. I'm
- 35:51ripping hot takes everywhere. I I don't
- 35:54mind to admit. Um, I on a panel won't
- 35:57let S tier battle context go over my
- 36:01head. I won't let that happen. If
- 36:03someone is doing something to oneup the
- 36:05opponent in a battle mentality, won't go
- 36:08over my head. The amount of intellect
- 36:11that the the beatbox community currently
- 36:13has for battling is a four or a five out
- 36:16of 10, which is so weird because battles
- 36:19are its most hype thing. But there ain't
- 36:22enough battling and there ain't enough
- 36:23good enough battling yet. There's not
- 36:26enough of people that can. So, I'm happy
- 36:28to go up there and do that. And that was
- 36:30a big point I wanted to prove in this
- 36:33competition is that a battle is a
- 36:35[ __ ] battle. To me, it's not pretty.
- 36:37It's about this. Be better. Outwit the
- 36:41opponent. Battle harder. Battle better.
- 36:44And be the best in the moment. Be the
- 36:46one that did original things. Be
- 36:48something that no one did. That's my
- 36:50heartful rant on it. I've clocked things
- 36:52in panels that other judges haven't
- 36:54clocked because a battle isn't about
- 36:56only your sound design. You know, for
- 36:58example, like it's a battle. Listen to
- 37:01the title. Beatbox battle. There's two
- 37:05words in that. It's not beatbox and it's
- 37:08not just battle. You can't just be
- 37:10brutal. It's a mix. You can't judge it
- 37:13on just one. Listen to those words. Say
- 37:18no more.
- 37:20drop the mic. Um, and I also got some
- 37:23feedbacks from the judges about clarity
- 37:25and precision. And I can also admit, uh,
- 37:28that's definitely something that's I can
- 37:30take on board. Um, you there's a fine
- 37:32line between a battle aggression and an
- 37:34energy and trying to balance perfect
- 37:36clarity, too. So, I can do a more clear
- 37:39round with a lesser energy and deliver
- 37:41something with a bit more clarity and
- 37:43texture and stuff. I like to sacrifice
- 37:46it a bit and bring energy up to find a
- 37:48balance of the middle ground where I
- 37:49still sound full and clean but
- 37:51monstrous. And I've also said this for
- 37:53years that I like things to sound a bit
- 37:55human. I like breaths. I like
- 37:57imperfection. I'm not a fan of the
- 37:59robotic style clear and crystal clear
- 38:02beatbox. There's a there's an energy
- 38:04missing. There's a human missing. I
- 38:06don't think people should slave to
- 38:08perfect clarity, especially in a battle
- 38:10format. Uh but in a set piece,
- 38:13absolutely. Absolutely. In a showcase
- 38:15and a set piece. Absolutely. When you do
- 38:18these events, the most important thing
- 38:21is that you killed it. Everyone talks
- 38:24about it. That's the most important. You
- 38:25killed it. Then the second is the
- 38:28result. Depends who you are. For the
- 38:30ones that are cultured, there was a loop
- 38:32station battle. Inky versus Beatness.
- 38:36Beatness won. Inky stole the show. He
- 38:39stole the whole night. Keep it strange.
- 38:42He stole the entire momentum of
- 38:44everything. I I personally unfortunately
- 38:47don't remember a beateness round that
- 38:49night. Keep it strange was the best loop
- 38:51I've maybe ever heard. And so
- 38:53performance over result for me. If it
- 38:56was the goal was to win, this is what I
- 38:58would have done. I would have done the
- 38:59same against Footbox. Toned down the
- 39:01aggression a little bit to bring the
- 39:03clarity up a little bit to make it a
- 39:05little bit more conclusive. So instead
- 39:07of it being
- 39:10it would have sounded more like
- 39:16you notice the difference. I would have
- 39:18done that to be more clarity to remove
- 39:20those question marks and get the win
- 39:22probably still over to black roll. I
- 39:24would have not done much different. I
- 39:26would have picked the same approach to
- 39:28the stylistic choices. I might not have
- 39:31self reloaded in the second round. Uh
- 39:33the idea was to do the build of a drop
- 39:35this iconic go rewind it and then reload
- 39:38that. Actually, I don't think I would
- 39:39have changed it. No, I don't think I
- 39:41would have changed much. Um, but then in
- 39:43the final, yes, I would have obviously
- 39:44then uh if the goal was only win, I
- 39:47would have uh came in with the same
- 39:48aggression as before, ripped the script
- 39:50to round two instead of saying I'll do
- 39:52any beat and allowing a big moment for
- 39:54fun to happen. I'd have just done
- 39:56technical combos. I would have just done
- 39:58that. And I wouldn't have done the round
- 39:59one either. I would have done a more
- 40:01iconic set from me. I wouldn't have done
- 40:03a newer one that people don't know. I
- 40:05would have just done a more iconic set
- 40:07like um a hit the ground with an
- 40:09evolution or a bone dust to cause a
- 40:11scene in round one. Um and then
- 40:14technical combos that I've never shown
- 40:15the world in round two and got a more
- 40:18technical solution to the result. I
- 40:20didn't want to do that so I didn't. I
- 40:22wanted to do what I did and I'm happy I
- 40:24did. Uh the people that are asking, by
- 40:26the way, I said that Blackroll's breath
- 40:28smells in a battle. Listen, proper
- 40:29disclaimer, it does not. His breath
- 40:32don't smell. He is actually particularly
- 40:34clean. Um, battle tactics, that's that.
- 40:37Don't like it, that's fine. I don't
- 40:39care. I actually couldn't even care
- 40:42less. If you think I was mean or
- 40:43aggressive or ripped the mic too fast or
- 40:45was a knob,
- 40:48[screaming]
- 40:51>> bored, boring the battle off Mike. I was
- 40:55a proper dick to Footbox. I do feel a
- 40:58bit sorry. I I hope I said I did say it
- 41:00to him. Um, yeah, the mean, mean, bit
- 41:03mean. Um, but that says something about
- 41:06the way I approached him then, doesn't
- 41:07it? It means I know how good he is and
- 41:09how good he was going to be. I knew
- 41:10that, guys. Are we being like, let's not
- 41:14beat around the flipping bush. Me versus
- 41:16Footbox could have been the whole final.
- 41:18Like, it could have been. It would not
- 41:20have made any down sense. I thought that
- 41:24versus Black Roll was the closest I came
- 41:26to losing in GBB this year. Mvi Footbox
- 41:29I thought I won with a little margin.
- 41:31Mvi River I thought I won with a smaller
- 41:34margin, but Mevi Blackroll I thought was
- 41:36kind of even. And I was worried for the
- 41:39result. I was worried. I was like, "Oh
- 41:42shit." When that battle ended, I was
- 41:44like, "Oh, he was louder. He was more
- 41:48consistent. He was probably
- 41:50traditionally more technical." I won the
- 41:53battle momentum. I won the battle, which
- 41:56to me means you win the battle. Um,
- 41:59because you can't just win the battle by
- 42:00being obnoxious. That isn't how it
- 42:02works. You have to back your [ __ ] You
- 42:04have to make combos no one made. You
- 42:06have to make the biggest drops. You have
- 42:07to do things to prove you're better
- 42:09still. But I respected the [ __ ] out of
- 42:12Black Roll stuff. And I knew he sounded
- 42:14better. And I I was worried. I was more
- 42:18sure I beat River than beating Black
- 42:20Roll. That's just me. But didn't smash
- 42:23the tags, did I? Oh [ __ ] man. Oh, man.
- 42:28You should You should have heard the
- 42:29cotcha, man. You should You should see
- 42:31it. Ah [ __ ] [laughter]
- 42:35Shout out to the SBX team. Sick event.
- 42:37Fair play. Shout out to my opponents.
- 42:40World's best beatboxers. Couldn't
- 42:41believe the levels. Unbelievable. Made
- 42:43me lock the [ __ ] in. Shout out to my
- 42:46mates the most. Shout out to Osis and
- 42:49Frosty. They really carried me through
- 42:52keeping my energy enough to battle. It's
- 42:54a lonely game doing the solo battles. So
- 42:57to have my bros with meant a lot. Shout
- 43:00out to Epos. Shout out to Biscuit. These
- 43:02guys helping me with my sets. That's my
- 43:04guys. Shout out to more of them. Just
- 43:07more and more. Shout out to my mates.
- 43:09Honestly, I wouldn't do the battles
- 43:11without my mates. And that's simple. I
- 43:13wouldn't do it. It would be too not fun
- 43:14for me. So, I love my mates getting
- 43:17involved, giving me opinions, the
- 43:18nitty-gritty, the reality, getting down,
- 43:21loving my beats, and I get all excited
- 43:23because they loved my beat. Um, but
- 43:25yeah, no bigger shout outs to Re and
- 43:27Theresa. My misses is the reason I can
- 43:29do any of this [ __ ] My misses is the
- 43:31reason I'm streaming because she's now
- 43:33handling Reggie and probably put him to
- 43:35bed by now and my kid and I wouldn't be
- 43:38able to do this. I get to come in here
- 43:41and train because she's looking after my
- 43:43kid. I get to come in here and listen to
- 43:44my content. train for it. Prepare for a
- 43:46battle. Go away for three days to meet
- 43:49Osis and Frosty to train for the the
- 43:52team events. Are you mad? I got the
- 43:54chance to go do that because she did it.
- 43:56She let me. Uh and obviously shout out
- 43:58to my kid who says that I'm the best. So
- 44:01I obviously am. Um I need to give out
- 44:05more particular shout outs, you know.
- 44:06Shout out to like um shout out to some
- 44:08of the you Oh, shout out to the UK lot.
- 44:11anyone from the UK that went to the
- 44:12event um prior to the next shout out. Uh
- 44:16shout out to all the UK lot shouting
- 44:17massive and bringing the flavors. You
- 44:19know, the French guys get a massive
- 44:21entourage of uh of hype every time at
- 44:24every event. And being a lonely UK man,
- 44:26it's been very lonely over the years
- 44:28where I've had like maybe three people
- 44:30UK lot in the crowd shouting. So UK lot,
- 44:34I turn up the [ __ ] I could for you at
- 44:37GBB and carried the flag. hopefully with
- 44:41pride. Uh, no bigger shout out in the UK
- 44:44though than Sam. So, big love the broki
- 44:46Sam. Uh, that's my mate by the way.
- 44:48That's the guy that recorded the vlog
- 44:50that's now out by the way. So, if you
- 44:51want to go catch the vlog, go catch
- 44:52that. But yeah, big love Sam. He's not
- 44:54even in the beatbox scene, per se. I
- 44:57mean, he is now, but he's not a
- 44:58beatboxer, but he's been rooting for me
- 45:00now since he came to beat city. So, just
- 45:03a little side shout out to Sam for being
- 45:05there uh with me. um keeping my head
- 45:07straight and and bringing good mate
- 45:10vibes. So, cheers to Sam. Um cheers to
- 45:13Orange as well for coming and doing the
- 45:14sound when we pre-prepared the week
- 45:16before the event. So many shout outs
- 45:18everywhere. But yeah, no more than the
- 45:20MS and kid. I without them too, it's
- 45:23raps. I'm just a guy that makes a bit of
- 45:25content and that'll be that. And even
- 45:26the content she helps me with. Oh, and
- 45:29shout out to you lot because you tell me
- 45:31to do my big beats. Shout out to the
- 45:33haters. Big up to them. I hear it. I see
- 45:36the comments. I seen BL's comment to
- 45:39that I lose. I seen you. I lose to foot.
- 45:41Can't wait for Footbox to crunch me. Was
- 45:43that uh shout out to Ghost um outside
- 45:45the top five? I am. Uh shout out to
- 45:48Nocial who I was going to lose. Going to
- 45:50lose first battles. Um happy to prove
- 45:53the haters wrong. And it's all love. I
- 45:55love them lot. I honestly wouldn't be
- 45:58real. Wouldn't be part wouldn't be uh um
- 46:01contenders. Wouldn't be opponents.
- 46:02Wouldn't be a battle. Wouldn't be a
- 46:04clash of competition without these
- 46:06opinions. Uh haha basically. Ha. Sorry.
- 46:10What are you gonna do? You're gonna say
- 46:11I lost the final. Fairs. I did. I lost
- 46:13the final. I lost. So I lost the final
- 46:15to someone who's exceptional. But all I
- 46:17will say is I'm better than you.
- 46:21Um I wished for DLO versus Astron and
- 46:24you saying to him, look at the crowd
- 46:25boy.
- 46:28Crazy.
- 46:30And you think I didn't think of that?
