- 0:00So, as you know that the OneUI 9 update
- 0:02is now rolling out for multiple Galaxy
- 0:04devices. Today, in this video we'll
- 0:07check out that what's new available with
- 0:09this OneUI 9 update by a side-by-side
- 0:12comparison.
- 0:13By the way, if you haven't already, so
- 0:15you can update it by simply going into
- 0:17the settings of your device, then
- 0:18tapping on software update, then check
- 0:21for updates, and from here you will get
- 0:23to see the new OneUI 9 update available.
- 0:26Now, talking about the changes, so there
- 0:28are very minor changes available this
- 0:30time around with the new OneUI 9 update.
- 0:33So, first change that you will notice is
- 0:35in the home app. If you go into the
- 0:37settings of your device,
- 0:39so in the OneUI 9 update you will get to
- 0:41see this option of show search on home
- 0:43screen, and there are two options
- 0:45available with the Google search and the
- 0:48finder.
- 0:49In the finder, you can search for the
- 0:51apps within your phone or the documents
- 0:54within your phone, and the Google is for
- 0:56the Google search.
- 0:58Now, the next change is in the control
- 1:00panel. The thickness of the brightness
- 1:02and the volume bar has been increased,
- 1:05and you have a dedicated volume and the
- 1:08dark mode button now available.
- 1:11So, as these dark mode and the volume
- 1:13buttons are separate, so now you can
- 1:15make them large or small.
- 1:18And this mute button will be really
- 1:20helpful in that day-to-day use.
- 1:23Next up, there's a difference in the
- 1:24music player in the animation of the
- 1:27music player. As you guys can see,
- 1:29there's this new wave of animation in
- 1:32the music player with the new OneUI 9
- 1:34update on the left side.
- 1:37This new animation is available
- 1:39everywhere, even in the lock screen,
- 1:41you'll get to see this new animation
- 1:44with the OneUI 9 update.
- 1:47Next up, there's a new change available
- 1:49in the camera app. If you go into the
- 1:50video mode of your camera app, and then
- 1:53tap on these three dots available, and
- 1:55then go into the split mode so there's a
- 1:58new split mode available which is this
- 2:00vertical one.
- 2:02So now you can do the dual recording
- 2:04using this vertical mode on your Galaxy
- 2:07phone.
- 2:08Previously there was only horizontal
- 2:10dual recording mode available.
- 2:13Next up whenever your phone will use
- 2:15camera or location so you will get to
- 2:17see a detailed preview of it.
- 2:20For example on the left side I have the
- 2:22One UI 9 update and as you guys can see
- 2:25it will give me a detailed preview of
- 2:27the location or the camera app being
- 2:30used.
- 2:31Next up in the weather app you'll get to
- 2:33see this umbrella of precipitation
- 2:36with the One UI 9 update on the right
- 2:38side.
