- 0:00Mark, let's go.
- 0:01>> Let's go. H. No, we're here today with
- 0:03Louis. He's one of my business partners.
- 0:05We've been working along each other for
- 0:07a long time. We're here in Bali right
- 0:09now.
- 0:09>> Yeah.
- 0:10>> What's up?
- 0:10>> It's good to finally meet in person.
- 0:12>> Yes, sir.
- 0:12>> After a long time. And obviously, I'm
- 0:14here with Leo. You should be should be
- 0:16very familiar with him.
- 0:17>> We're just going to talk about once
- 0:18again YouTube faceless YouTube
- 0:20automation,
- 0:21>> whatever you want to call it, but it's
- 0:23going to be interesting. So,
- 0:24>> 100% where the where the business is
- 0:26going.
- 0:27>> Yeah, for sure.
- 0:28>> Your journey so far. I mean, let's start
- 0:29with, you know, you're 21 years old.
- 0:31You've made, you know, millions from
- 0:33from faceless YouTube.
- 0:35>> Take us back. Like, where did it all
- 0:36start for you?
- 0:38>> Yeah. I I think the beginning of
- 0:41everything is is kind of um it will it
- 0:44will sound so much like these Tik Toks
- 0:46where where people just, you know, post
- 0:47about their journey, all that kind of
- 0:48stuff. Um, but it's actually quite
- 0:51funny. So I was in a my class or my kind
- 0:55of I'm not sure what the uh word is in
- 0:57English but the line in in high school
- 0:59>> like the uh niche which I studied um it
- 1:03was entrepreneurship right
- 1:04>> said niche that you studied he's already
- 1:06thinking about YouTube [laughter]
- 1:07>> no but like niche where we were focused
- 1:10some some people do physics I did
- 1:12economics and entrepreneurship
- 1:15>> and um I was in a group in this kind of
- 1:18entrepreneurship class where you start
- 1:20your own business Um, and we we were
- 1:23just going to do drop shipping, which
- 1:25totally failed, by the way. Um,
- 1:27>> I've seen the photo.
- 1:28>> Yeah, it totally failed and I got the
- 1:29worst grade out of everyone in the
- 1:31entire high school. But, uh, that's
- 1:32another story. However, one of my
- 1:34friends actually had a faceless YouTube
- 1:37channel. Um, one of the people that I
- 1:39was in the group with.
- 1:40>> Wow.
- 1:41>> So, I just kind of took this home and in
- 1:42in my free time, I started some some
- 1:45pretty [ __ ] channels that couldn't
- 1:46really earn anything. I guess that was a
- 1:48beginner mistake from from me as well
- 1:50since
- 1:51>> I didn't do any research. I just got
- 1:53into a random niche. I got millions of
- 1:55views. It was super nice and everything,
- 1:57but then it turned out the channel
- 1:58couldn't even be monetized because I
- 2:00hadn't done this research beforehand.
- 2:03>> Um, so I kind of filled my my first few
- 2:05channels like everyone does. Um, spent a
- 2:07few thousand dollars on just content
- 2:09creation. I mean, all that kind of
- 2:10stuff. Half a year, a year
- 2:12>> on just sitting my in my apartment
- 2:14trying to figure stuff out. Um and then
- 2:17eventually I started getting some
- 2:18channels that were successful being one
- 2:21of them.
- 2:21>> Yeah. And you were 18 years old at the
- 2:23time right when you started.
- 2:24>> Yeah. I might have even been when I
- 2:26started the first channel I might have
- 2:27even been younger like 17
- 2:29>> 17.
- 2:30>> Uh
- 2:30>> and this was back when like AI wasn't
- 2:32even like such a huge kind of thing,
- 2:35right?
- 2:35>> No, no, no. Chadypt at this time like
- 2:38this is the time when when Chadypt came
- 2:40out and everyone was so amazed like like
- 2:43what the hell like this tool can just
- 2:46answer any question that I have. Um
- 2:48obviously now AI is you know
- 2:50astronomically crazier but
- 2:52>> it's crazy I don't think like if you
- 2:53open your YouTube feed nowadays you'll
- 2:55see that like there is a significant
- 2:56amount of AI content.
- 2:57>> Yeah.
- 2:58>> And you're behind maybe a significant
- 2:59amount of it too as well.
- 3:02>> Yeah. Yeah. And AI content like before
- 3:04we get into the you know all of this in
- 3:06depth and everything like AI content
- 3:09>> you need to be you need to know what
- 3:11you're doing otherwise you're going to
- 3:12end up in a very bad position. But uh um
- 3:15I would argue for that a majority of the
- 3:17faceless channels being started right
- 3:19now or literally 90% of them use AI for
- 3:24for the entire production process or
- 3:27more. Mhm.
- 3:28>> Um like it's crazy the amount of um
- 3:31channels that we see being started right
- 3:32now that are using AI and many people
- 3:35who who might have read a bunch of stuff
- 3:36on X that that YouTube is terminating
- 3:39way more channels before than before.
- 3:41This is also because like during just
- 3:44the past few months every single month
- 3:47like 100 times more channels are being
- 3:49started than half a year ago per month.
- 3:52So like there are way more
- 3:53demonetizations, but that is also
- 3:55because there are a,000 times more
- 3:57channels being started since AI is
- 3:59making everything so easy.
- 4:01>> And what would you say to people that
- 4:02you know say YouTube is saturated? Cuz I
- 4:04remember you know back when in 2022
- 4:06people were still saying you know
- 4:08YouTube was saturated and you've come
- 4:09into the game. I mean I've seen you know
- 4:11inside of the program how many
- 4:13>> you know hundreds of people that have
- 4:14come through and done well. What would
- 4:16you say to those people who are saying
- 4:17YouTube is saturated because of AI? I
- 4:19would say like you YouTube automation
- 4:22the old way might be saturated but
- 4:25that's al also why AI is so powerful and
- 4:28why that's such a big advantage right
- 4:30now because we're we're still doing
- 4:32YouTube YouTube automation the you know
- 4:34quoteunquote old way with with high
- 4:35quality content and you know enjoyable
- 4:37content that people want to watch but
- 4:39our advantage is that we're using AI to
- 4:43basically output five times the the
- 4:45amount of uploads for a fraction of the
- 4:47cost of what all of the traditional
- 4:49channels are doing.
- 4:50>> Mhm.
- 4:51>> So, the game is still the same, but for
- 4:53those that learn how to utilize AI early
- 4:54on, and I was one of the early adopters,
- 4:57like when it comes to AI and and
- 4:58implementing it for my YouTube strategy,
- 5:00if you truly learn it now, and it's not
- 5:02too late, like you'll have such a big
- 5:05competitive advantage over everyone
- 5:07who's already running channels, but also
- 5:10other people that are starting channels
- 5:11the traditional way.
- 5:12>> I think a lot of people, even the people
- 5:14starting AI channels, they just don't
- 5:15have the right strategies. And people
- 5:17say, you know, the information is
- 5:18already always out there. You know, I
- 5:20can just find the information myself.
- 5:22But I think a lot of people see YouTube
- 5:24as like, oh, I'll just upload some
- 5:25videos and some of them might get views.
- 5:27But to the people who've done that,
- 5:29they'll probably have seen that often
- 5:31time you just won't get any views cuz
- 5:33you don't have the right strategy.
- 5:34>> And I mean, you found that yourself. I
- 5:36found that.
- 5:37>> So, what would you say is like the
- 5:39number one thing that people make as a
- 5:41mistake when they're actually getting
- 5:43started with Facebook for the first
- 5:44time?
- 5:45I would probably say it's it's the same
- 5:48mistake that I did when I started. Um
- 5:51like niche will just be like the generic
- 5:54answer. Um I'm sure every beginner also
- 5:56watching this podcast, they've been
- 5:58struggling with the niche. You know, you
- 6:00>> you don't really know what to get into.
- 6:02You're not sure if this can be monetized
- 6:04or not. You're not sure how to create
- 6:05content.
- 6:06>> Um and you just start overthinking
- 6:08everything so much that you never even
- 6:10start.
- 6:12>> Um so niche definitely. Now the thing
- 6:15with AI and uh and why it has made
- 6:18YouTube quite I don't want to say it's
- 6:20an easy business model but it's a very
- 6:22beginner friendly business model is
- 6:23because the only thing that you need
- 6:25right now in comparison to before is
- 6:27that you just need to spend time on
- 6:29ideation and finding finding out and
- 6:32being creative about what content people
- 6:34actually want to watch.
- 6:35>> It's made it much easier to build, you
- 6:37know, an empire of channels. Yeah.
- 6:38Right. Not just one or two. And I think
- 6:41a lot of people will say, you know,
- 6:42well, how do I have time to to run five
- 6:45or six or seven, whatever, eight
- 6:46channels,
- 6:47>> but I mean, you started in high school.
- 6:49I think you also worked in a supermarket
- 6:51in a 9 to5. Tell us about that, man.
- 6:54Don't take me back.
- 6:55>> Let's Let's roll the back.
- 6:57>> Um, yeah. So, I was studying full-time
- 7:00in high school when I was when I was
- 7:02starting these first channels. I also
- 7:03worked part-time in in that supermarket
- 7:05at the same time as studying full-time.
- 7:07>> Okay. So, I guess you could call that
- 7:11like I don't know what what you call
- 7:12that
- 7:12>> extra fulltime.
- 7:13>> Yeah. Yeah. Um, and
- 7:17one thing that we've seen with almost
- 7:19like all of the clients that I have in
- 7:21in Faceless Launchpad, um, is that the
- 7:25people that are getting these crazy
- 7:27crazy results, making, you know,
- 7:29$100,000 in the first half a year of
- 7:31getting into a completely fresh and new
- 7:34business model for them.
- 7:35>> Mh.
- 7:35>> Like these people are still
- 7:37>> working their full-time jobs whilst they
- 7:40start this channel. So like every time I
- 7:43hear someone say that I don't have the
- 7:44time for this. Even if you have just one
- 7:46or two hours per day, like you can start
- 7:49a faceless YouTube channel. It will all
- 7:50just be excuses if you you sit there and
- 7:52try to to say that you're you don't have
- 7:54the time.
- 7:55>> I think a lot of people just limit
- 7:56themselves and they try and find a
- 7:57reason not to do something. They try and
- 7:59find a reason for why it can't work for
- 8:01them. And maybe that comes from them not
- 8:03even believing in themselves. But I
- 8:05think I mean I think you've proved
- 8:07you've proved that you know even at the
- 8:08age of 18 we've seen people you know at
- 8:10the age of 50 at the age of 60 I've had
- 8:12the pleasure to obviously coach a little
- 8:14and work with them a bit.
- 8:15>> Yeah.
- 8:16>> I mean you mentioned a channel with a
- 8:17like 100,000 in revenue in about half a
- 8:20year.
- 8:20>> Reed um who I first of all I remember
- 8:22first speaking to him. He's from
- 8:23Singapore.
- 8:24>> He's working you know a 9 to5
- 8:26>> like a consulting job.
- 8:28>> I mean
- 8:29>> yeah after like I I literally spoke to
- 8:32Reed yesterday. [laughter]
- 8:33>> Oh really?
- 8:34As of recording this this podcast, I
- 8:36spoke to Reed um yesterday. He updated
- 8:38me. So, I think he's at like $120 now.
- 8:41Um averaging about $300 $400 a day just
- 8:45completely
- 8:45>> and he doesn't touch it.
- 8:46>> He he doesn't touch it much. He does do
- 8:48the ideation himself still. Uh but for
- 8:51example, the script writing, the
- 8:53voiceovers, the editing, but he does not
- 8:55do anything else than the ideation. And
- 8:57that was actually one of the things that
- 8:58I was going to say with AI. Let's say
- 9:02you did YouTube automation two years
- 9:03ago. Okay, you you're a beginner. You
- 9:05want to get into YouTube automation.
- 9:07>> You would have to learn the most
- 9:09important skill which is ideation. But
- 9:12you would also have to learn how to hire
- 9:14a big team of freelancers for script
- 9:16writing, editing, thumbnails,
- 9:17everything.
- 9:18>> So many people struggle with that
- 9:19because they don't know where. They
- 9:20don't know where to find them. They
- 9:21don't know how to hire them. It's a huge
- 9:22part.
- 9:23>> And not only that, you would also have
- 9:25to have a big budget to pay all of these
- 9:26people.
- 9:27>> Mhm. But the very big difference now is
- 9:29that you can literally only focus on the
- 9:32ideation as a beginner because the
- 9:34script writing you know editing and
- 9:36voiceovers most of it can be done with
- 9:38AI for a very cheap price. So that
- 9:41allows you to just fully lock in on the
- 9:44ideation which ultimately h if you look
- 9:47at every situation where where people
- 9:49blow up with these channels and make
- 9:50crazy amounts of money the ideation is
- 9:53usually the root or the foundation to
- 9:54why they were able to get to that point.
- 9:56Mhm. And that all comes from like
- 9:58knowing a good process from the start.
- 10:00And I think also something that that
- 10:02we've spoken about is, you know, using
- 10:03VAS. Most people think, well, AI isn't
- 10:06just going to spit out a perfect 30
- 10:08minute long video. It's only going to
- 10:09give me images. It's only going to give
- 10:10me clips even if I do the ideation. I
- 10:12think a lot of people miss that a very,
- 10:14you know, easy part of a channel if you
- 10:16can, you know, have the right guidance
- 10:17and you find the right people. And the
- 10:19reason why people can, you know, have
- 10:20five or 10 channels and this is like a
- 10:22real real business is because you can
- 10:23build a very lean team and run it
- 10:25without much, you know, background
- 10:27costs.
- 10:27>> Yeah. Yeah, definitely. And uh I'm not
- 10:30going to go too much
- 10:33into this, but like there are AI tools
- 10:35right now being developed that you enter
- 10:38the title of your video
- 10:40>> and you have like your video done. You
- 10:42don't even have to manage a tip. And the
- 10:44people that are early on to these tools,
- 10:46for example, I, as I said, I don't want
- 10:48to talk too much about this, but we give
- 10:50out free access codes to these tools in
- 10:52the community, like the the program,
- 10:54everything. But the people that are
- 10:56early onto these tools and are in the
- 10:58right situation at the right time to get
- 10:59these codes, like they are getting such
- 11:02an even bigger advantage than just
- 11:04having access to AI and knowing how to
- 11:06use it in the first place.
- 11:07>> Man, it's crazy. And like you say, the
- 11:09early adopters, you were an early
- 11:10adopter of AI. But I think,
- 11:12>> you know, the window is so like huge. I
- 11:14mean, you see people, they're shocked at
- 11:15these little reels on their phone. But
- 11:17when it comes to YouTube as a platform,
- 11:19you know, they pay so much money to the
- 11:21creators on their platform.
- 11:22>> If someone's watching this and they're
- 11:23like, you know, I just don't
- 11:26>> like I don't understand how am I even
- 11:27going to get paid from YouTube. They're
- 11:28very skeptical about YouTube as a
- 11:30business model that can actually make
- 11:31them money. You know, what would you say
- 11:34to them?
- 11:36Well, first of all, I'm not sure of the
- 11:38exact numbers, but I think YouTube has
- 11:40paid out like $1.5 billion in 2025 if
- 11:44>> I think I think it's way more. I think I
- 11:46think they had because YouTube as a
- 11:47platform did I think 40 billion in ad
- 11:49revenue and I think they give they give
- 11:51half to half.
- 11:53>> Yeah, exactly. They they approximately
- 11:55half. So, in that case, yeah, I'm not
- 11:58sure of the exact numbers, but then they
- 12:00paid out $20 million to creators in just
- 12:03one year
- 12:03>> just from AdSense as well. like that is
- 12:05more money than a small country's GDP if
- 12:08we look at if we look at the numbers. So
- 12:11people saying that or or thinking that
- 12:13YouTube cannot be like a real business
- 12:15model. I I understand what they mean
- 12:17because when I was not doing YouTube, it
- 12:19felt like super like scary or cringe or
- 12:22weird.
- 12:23>> You imagine like yourself being on
- 12:24camera, you imagine Mr. Beast and all
- 12:26these like videos. But when we think
- 12:28about YouTube as an entertainment
- 12:29platform, an alternative to television
- 12:32and you see the kind of content economy
- 12:34booming, you think, you know, these
- 12:36media companies are investing heavily
- 12:38into YouTube.
- 12:39>> Yeah.
- 12:39>> And it's it's more than just, you know,
- 12:41a platform where you share videos
- 12:42nowadays. Let's speak about monetization
- 12:45because people know that, okay, you can
- 12:47post videos and then YouTube pages from
- 12:48the ad revenue, but you've done some
- 12:50insane stuff with monetization outside
- 12:53of just AdSense. So, what's kind of your
- 12:55philosophy around that? who have you
- 12:57because I know we've helped a few other
- 12:58people do that too.
- 12:59>> Yeah. Um so AdSense and and earning
- 13:03money through ad revenue we that's the
- 13:05main attraction that people also see
- 13:07online you know this YouTube dashboard
- 13:09someone you have this blue graph where
- 13:11people earn a bunch of money but some
- 13:13channels that are making the absolute
- 13:16most amount of money like the these are
- 13:19the channels that not only are not only
- 13:21earn money through ad revenue but they
- 13:23also monetize their channels uh through
- 13:24like affiliate marketing sponsorships
- 13:27digital products for example I've done
- 13:29this myself. I've also taught students
- 13:31that have got super good results.
- 13:33>> Most people might be familiar with the
- 13:35channel called How to AI that I ran.
- 13:37We're going to get into this as well.
- 13:38What what happened to it and and what's
- 13:40the current state, all that kind of
- 13:41stuff. Um, but with how to AI,
- 13:45like if I posted a graph, sure it was
- 13:47earning like six grand a month in ad
- 13:49revenue, but what people did not know is
- 13:51that that channel generated over 800K a
- 13:54month in in revenue from digital product
- 13:56sales, affiliate marketing,
- 13:58sponsorships, all that kind of stuff.
- 13:59>> I think a lot of people miss the fact
- 14:01that you can create a channel in a niche
- 14:02where you're actually, you know,
- 14:03educating and providing value. And I
- 14:06mean, you've probably seen it like
- 14:07literally everywhere. Every single video
- 14:09nowadays on YouTube, it seems, has some
- 14:11sort of external sponsorship or, you
- 14:13know, click the link in my bio and sign
- 14:15up with this code and and you'll make
- 14:16money.
- 14:17>> And $100,000 a month from a channel
- 14:19that, you know, isn't huge. People, you
- 14:21know, people watching this might be
- 14:22making $100,000 over the course of three
- 14:25years.
- 14:25>> And to hear that you can do that in a
- 14:27month basically passively from
- 14:29affiliate,
- 14:30>> I mean, it's just absolutely insane.
- 14:32>> I think we were at
- 14:34averaging like 24,000 views a day. um
- 14:38with with hot at like the normal
- 14:40standard kind of boring level. Um and
- 14:44that yeah like we had I I had one store
- 14:46with with a single digital product um
- 14:49that was like 50% profit margin and that
- 14:51just sat there and generated five six
- 14:54sevenk per month uh per day sorry
- 14:56>> per day.
- 14:57>> Um
- 14:58>> that's that's crazy
- 14:59>> just from that channel.
- 15:00>> Yeah. And that's the power of when you
- 15:01have attention. You know, people want
- 15:03who want to take advantage of kind of
- 15:04the attention economy, who want to have,
- 15:06you know, they might be working like
- 15:08good jobs, they might be making good
- 15:09money, but they just want a little bit
- 15:10more. They might want to make that
- 15:12little bit of passive income. And having
- 15:13that coming in because you've made an
- 15:15amazing video that people want to watch.
- 15:16You have an amazing brand. You have an
- 15:18amazing channel. It's it's a different
- 15:20level. And I mean, Matias is someone who
- 15:22is also done that inside the which is
- 15:25crazy. And he's young as well. I mean,
- 15:26he's 21 years old here in Bali. I
- 15:28[laughter] met I met him
- 15:30like literally 20 minutes ago. Um, so he
- 15:33he went from having never done a proper
- 15:36faceless AI channel, um, you could call
- 15:39it, I guess, to now like he's staying in
- 15:42the same villa as me
- 15:43>> working on faces YouTube and everything
- 15:45back
- 15:46>> imagine having students who do so well
- 15:48that they want to meet you, travel with
- 15:50you, live with you. It's insane.
- 15:51>> It's amazing. But his um, I actually got
- 15:53some insight. He hasn't been I haven't
- 15:55been updating about his results too much
- 15:57on socials and all that kind of stuff.
- 15:59Um but with the same channel that he
- 16:01started also half year ago, same time as
- 16:03Rid um that channel has done 100K in ad
- 16:06revenue,
- 16:07>> 100 another channel doing over 100. I
- 16:10mean
- 16:10>> we talk about just before we go on to
- 16:12like that side of things, imagine how
- 16:14much that channel is worth as an exit.
- 16:16Yeah,
- 16:17>> people talk about, you know, selling a
- 16:18business and it's not an easy, it's not
- 16:20like a mean thing, but in 6 months he's
- 16:21built something he can exit for, you
- 16:23know, multiple six figures.
- 16:25>> Yeah, I think YouTube channels you look
- 16:27at the monthly revenue and then you
- 16:30times it times like 10 12
- 16:32>> 10 12
- 16:33>> like the yearly.
- 16:34>> So yearly, you can sell it for 1x, but
- 16:35with, you know, a digital product that
- 16:37could be worth even more.
- 16:38>> And I was going to get to that. So the
- 16:40he built a Shopify store around this
- 16:42channel only for this channel and the
- 16:43loyal audience that he had kind of um
- 16:45accumulated with the over the course of
- 16:48everything. Um and that digital product
- 16:50store we where he sold like an ebook
- 16:52that he made with AI in a few days
- 16:54>> made with AI.
- 16:54>> Yeah. Um he he generated over 50k
- 16:58lifetime uh from that source. So it's
- 17:01technically 150k from that channel.
- 17:04>> Um and and seeing like he's as old as
- 17:06me. He's 21. just starting a channel
- 17:09about like space stuff. And
- 17:13>> we don't want to lick [laughter] the
- 17:13niche.
- 17:14>> No, I'm not gonna leave the niche.
- 17:15There's so many channels about space
- 17:17anyways. But
- 17:18>> you start a channel about space,
- 17:19something that you're passionate about,
- 17:21something that you like. Um, that has a
- 17:23proven audience, you know, can be
- 17:25verified by other people that might have
- 17:27experience. And boom, half year later,
- 17:30that has become a business that
- 17:31generates you a couple thousand,5$10,000
- 17:34a month,
- 17:34>> which is insane.
- 17:35>> It's absolutely crazy. And there's
- 17:37people who are 50, there's people who
- 17:38are 20. And I think the best part is
- 17:41that once you have it, once you have the
- 17:42team in place, you know how to find a
- 17:44niche, you know how to create the right
- 17:46content, it's repeatable,
- 17:48>> right? You know, it's something that you
- 17:50can scale almost infinitely without
- 17:52having to be super attached with your
- 17:54time at the same time.
- 17:55>> Yeah. And I I usually say this quite a
- 17:59lot, but you to to everyone that we work
- 18:01with, you rarely want to if you truly
- 18:05see YouTube as the business that it is
- 18:07and you don't see it as a hobby, then
- 18:09you will not be the arms and legs of
- 18:11your channel. You will not be the person
- 18:12sitting there editing everything because
- 18:15if you're going to output this the
- 18:17required volume of posts to out compete
- 18:20your your competitors,
- 18:22then you're going to have to post
- 18:24multiple times per week.
- 18:25>> Mhm. And if you're working a full-time
- 18:26job, how are you possibly going to sit
- 18:28and edit videos for for two to three
- 18:30hours per day when you can simply
- 18:32outsource that to someone who is perhaps
- 18:35in a country where people
- 18:37>> get paid less.
- 18:38>> Yeah. They get paid realize.
- 18:39>> Yeah. Most people think that you have to
- 18:41hire some editor from the US who charges
- 18:43you 500 bucks a video. But the truth is
- 18:45that since everything is online,
- 18:47>> you can simply go onto, you know, a a
- 18:50marketplace like Upwork and you can hire
- 18:52someone that will complete your video
- 18:53for $30. And that video alone, if it
- 18:57goes viral, will generate you thousands
- 18:59of dollars.
- 18:59>> And what other business is out there?
- 19:01Like you mentioned, you started drop
- 19:03shipping. People, there's always people
- 19:04talking about this business model and
- 19:06that business model, but is there a
- 19:07single business model out there that you
- 19:09can put, you know, $40 into a video and,
- 19:12you know, get returns of thousands.
- 19:13>> Yeah.
- 19:14>> I haven't heard of one.
- 19:15>> Yeah. And this this is something that I
- 19:16discussed yesterday with uh with the Rid
- 19:18as well, who we talked about. He he was
- 19:20putting in I think $60 to $70 per video
- 19:23on on average. Expensive. That's quite
- 19:25expensive. But but he does he hires a
- 19:28good editor. He like his content quality
- 19:29is quite high.
- 19:30>> Mhm.
- 19:31>> It's quite expensive. But on average the
- 19:33ROI that he got on every single video
- 19:35that he posted was like six, seven
- 19:38times.
- 19:38>> Wow. So like if you think about this and
- 19:41and if you put it to um what is called
- 19:44like put it in relation to to a business
- 19:45model like crypto,
- 19:48you will never be able in crypto to just
- 19:50spend $70 and be sure that you'll get a
- 19:53five, six, seven times return on every
- 19:55investment that you make.
- 19:56>> Insane. And even the stock market,
- 19:58people, you know, they work their jobs.
- 20:00they're, you know, they're stuck in, you
- 20:02know, a position they don't like and
- 20:03they think that the way out is going to
- 20:05be investing into the stock market where
- 20:07they're going to get maybe a 10% return
- 20:09on a good year on an average year
- 20:11compared to actually
- 20:12>> bringing themselves cash flow because
- 20:14what would have been like the
- 20:15alternative for you? Where where do you
- 20:16think your life would have gone if you
- 20:17hadn't started YouTube?
- 20:20>> You [laughter] don't think about it?
- 20:21>> I don't even want to think about that. I
- 20:23think um Oh man, I I think I would just
- 20:27be studying in college right now. Um,
- 20:29many of my friends are studying in
- 20:32college. There's nothing wrong with
- 20:33going to college, don't get me wrong.
- 20:34Like, if that is what you want, it's a
- 20:36very good thing. Um, but me personally,
- 20:38I prefer to right now, for example, we
- 20:41are not, you're not in the UK, I'm not
- 20:43in Sweden where we're able to have
- 20:45location freedom and we're able to do
- 20:47basically what we want. Um, and if I go
- 20:50to college, I cannot do that. So, that's
- 20:52why I don't want to go to college. And
- 20:53also I mean job now with AI how quick
- 20:56it's moving people who are considering
- 20:58going to university or who have gone or
- 21:00who are looking potentially looking for
- 21:01jobs you know that might not be around
- 21:04much like you know in 5 to 10 years. We
- 21:06don't know where things [laughter]
- 21:07>> with claw
- 21:08>> cloud coming out. If you don't know what
- 21:09cloudbot is then uh you're going to be
- 21:11scared when you open Twitter and search
- 21:13for it.
- 21:14>> Saying it's it's pretty incredible like
- 21:16where the world is going at the moment.
- 21:18And I think if people people might be
- 21:19thinking, oh, you know, I've been
- 21:20thinking about starting a YouTube
- 21:22channel for a while now. They've been
- 21:24doing a lot of research. They maybe
- 21:25watched a lot of your content.
- 21:26>> Yeah.
- 21:27>> You know, is there any advice you would
- 21:28have for that type of person who's just
- 21:30very hesitant and maybe doesn't even
- 21:32believe in themsel or maybe doesn't
- 21:33believe in kind of that it's actually
- 21:35possible for them? Cuz I know that's
- 21:37something I struggle with. I didn't
- 21:38think it was possible for me. I saw
- 21:39everyone else doing it, but that's
- 21:40everyone else.
- 21:40>> Yeah.
- 21:41>> Is there any advice you'd give to that
- 21:42person? I I think this is very similar
- 21:44to people like claiming that they cannot
- 21:47make as much money as people who live in
- 21:50the US for example when they live in
- 21:51Europe because the the people in the US
- 21:53they have better um kind of um they have
- 21:56a better starting point they can earn
- 21:58more money with if they post content
- 22:00from the US but with YouTube
- 22:03like Reed for example he's from uh
- 22:05Singapore and he he lives in Vietnam but
- 22:07he's one of the people that have made
- 22:08the most amount of money in the shortest
- 22:10amount of time Mhm.
- 22:12>> like whilst being in Vietnam full-time
- 22:14because he's simply posting content on a
- 22:17channel that is directed towards us as
- 22:20old viewers. So
- 22:22>> with YouTube, if you if you're hesitant
- 22:24to starting because you think that you
- 22:26cannot like make the same journey as
- 22:30other people or you think that you
- 22:31cannot make money because you're in a um
- 22:33you're not in the US like we for example
- 22:37not in the US has made tons of money
- 22:39with YouTube animation. There's so many
- 22:40other students as well who who we've
- 22:42been working with from you know Europe
- 22:45maybe I don't want to say worse country
- 22:47but a country where you don't have the
- 22:49same starting point as people from
- 22:51Sweden for example.
- 22:53>> Mhm.
- 22:53>> Um they made tons of money
- 22:55>> through just these channels.
- 22:56>> I think sometimes people will look for
- 22:58like an excuse to why to not do
- 23:00something rather than going head first
- 23:02and saying okay
- 23:03>> I'm going to do this and I'm going to
- 23:04make it work. For example, someone like
- 23:06Tano, I remember speaking to him and
- 23:08yeah, he's working a 9 to7 job. Most
- 23:11people after a 9 to7 job, you know,
- 23:14don't have time to do anything, but he's
- 23:15running like three or four channels
- 23:16simultaneously with the systems
- 23:19>> like if you put your mind to something.
- 23:22Yeah, I think he's even um so for the
- 23:25people that do not know Tano um he's
- 23:28also a guy that we've been working with
- 23:29this unit of mine um but he was working
- 23:32in 97 and he runs three channels uh
- 23:37possibly even more by now um since he's
- 23:39expanding but he's running three
- 23:41channels two of which are English I
- 23:44think or or Spanish and one of which is
- 23:46the other language so let's say two
- 23:48English and one Spanish channel and he's
- 23:50running these three channels
- 23:52at the same time as working as a big
- 23:54data consultant in Spain. And that job
- 23:57takes home like 2 3k for him every
- 24:00single month. But his three channels
- 24:02that he manages in two hours per day
- 24:05takes home consistently 10k a month.
- 24:07>> Some people would be screaming at like
- 24:09the podcast right now, why haven't you
- 24:10left your job? Of course.
- 24:11>> Like that's four times the income that
- 24:14is making from working. What is that
- 24:16like nine hours a day?
- 24:17>> It's insane.
- 24:18>> 10 hours a day
- 24:18>> for for not doing anything. I think, you
- 24:20know, people don't realize you you don't
- 24:21get paid for your time nowadays. I think
- 24:24a lot of people think, well, you know, I
- 24:25can't make money if I'm not at a job.
- 24:27It's just not the case.
- 24:27>> No, internet money is really once you do
- 24:30get into it, you understand how easy it
- 24:32is to just spawn money out of thin air.
- 24:35>> I'm not going to say that it's for
- 24:36everyone. Um because you really do have
- 24:38to be a person that that really wants it
- 24:40deep within. Can't just be lazy person
- 24:42who's like, I'm just going to throw
- 24:44money at this and I'm going to make a
- 24:46bunch of money. That's not how it works.
- 24:47you know, people who've worked with you,
- 24:49students who've who've done well, but I
- 24:51think some people come in with the
- 24:53expectation and they see the amazing
- 24:54results and the results like they can't
- 24:56be denied. But I think there are some
- 24:58people who look for a get-rich quick
- 25:00scheme. And I think something that I
- 25:02want to make clear and that you probably
- 25:03want to make clear is that YouTube is
- 25:05not, you know, a get-rich quick scheme
- 25:06at all.
- 25:07>> I mean, I mean, how long did it take
- 25:09from, you know, you starting your first
- 25:10channel to actually seeing that first
- 25:11kind of money come in, going through all
- 25:13the trial trial and error yourself and
- 25:15having no guidance ahead of you? I think
- 25:16it was a year probably
- 25:17>> a year a year and uh as I said in the
- 25:20beginning of the podcast I lost
- 25:22thousands of dollars as well throughout
- 25:23that year and for you for like a high
- 25:26school student working part-time as a
- 25:28used salesman like that is quite a lot
- 25:31of money um yeah definitely not a
- 25:34get-rich quick scheme not something I I
- 25:37think the market with like coaching and
- 25:40and all of these business models that
- 25:42are being promoted online is it's just
- 25:43kind of plagued
- 25:45>> by by people also doing everything they
- 25:49can to get like clients. Um, and and
- 25:53that then they're also going over the
- 25:55line and trying to sell people the dream
- 25:58that like their business model is is
- 26:01like a you can make 10K in 15 days of
- 26:04getting started.
- 26:05>> It's crazy. Something
- 26:06>> I try to remain as transparent as
- 26:08possible.
- 26:09>> Yeah, exactly. you're not going to make,
- 26:10you know, although there are people
- 26:11who've made hundreds of thousands of
- 26:12dollars coming in as a beginner, it's
- 26:15not very likely, but what what is likely
- 26:16is that if you, you know, put in the
- 26:17work and you don't stop that, you know,
- 26:20eventually you will succeed provided you
- 26:22have the right guidance. And I think
- 26:24that's like
- 26:26something with Faceless Launchpad that
- 26:27has been exceptional from what I've seen
- 26:29kind of from the outside is that we
- 26:32don't just kind of you're not taking on
- 26:34any sort of person into a program like
- 26:36that because it is very hands-on. You
- 26:38just can't you can't guarantee someone a
- 26:40result obviously which you do that isn't
- 26:43actually committed and kind of
- 26:44understands the process and isn't just
- 26:48looking for some quick money. Yeah,
- 26:50there are only so many factors that we
- 26:52can control which like we control
- 26:55everything that we can control and
- 26:56that's why we also in our um kind of you
- 27:00know offer or agreement we we guarantee
- 27:02results but this is only applicable if
- 27:07the person that we're working with will
- 27:09truly put in the work because otherwise
- 27:12like we we might be you know uh
- 27:15providing all of the tools and all of
- 27:16the information
- 27:18but if you're not going let's like I
- 27:20always say this YouTube is like the gym
- 27:22or like online business is like the gym
- 27:25you can be provided all of the
- 27:26supplements you can have a personal
- 27:27trainer you can have uh
- 27:29>> Mhm. you know, all of the equipment and
- 27:32tools, whatever. But if you're not going
- 27:34to the gym yourself,
- 27:35>> if you're not lifting the weights,
- 27:36>> yeah, if you're not in the gym yourself
- 27:37and going there every day, no matter how
- 27:39many supplements and tools that you
- 27:41have, you will not be making any
- 27:42progress.
- 27:43>> And some people get put off when they
- 27:44hear, you know, put in the work. But
- 27:46like we've said with YouTube, it's like
- 27:48provided you have the right people in
- 27:50place and the right systems in place and
- 27:52you focus on the right tasks, it doesn't
- 27:54become a business that kind of takes up
- 27:56all of your time. It's quite the
- 27:57opposite.
- 27:58>> Yeah. with AI especially because let's
- 28:00say a script it would take you to I even
- 28:03wrote my scripts myself in in the start
- 28:06of how to AI um which was a it was not
- 28:10not so fun activity um but I probably
- 28:13sat down for like three hours to write a
- 28:14single script four hours um and now with
- 28:18AI if I if that channel was still here
- 28:20today we can actually talk about that
- 28:21soon
- 28:22>> um
- 28:24>> like this script would have taken me 15
- 28:26minutes 20 minutes start
- 28:28That's insane.
- 28:29>> Yeah. So, let's speak about how to AI
- 28:31because I think a lot of people watching
- 28:32this will know of how to AI. If you
- 28:34don't, um
- 28:35>> I'll put put a screenshot on that on the
- 28:37screen somewhere.
- 28:38>> Yeah, we'll put a screenshot, but it's a
- 28:40channel with over 300,000 subscribers,
- 28:43tens of millions of views that taught
- 28:45people how to use AI and probably made
- 28:48many more faceless YouTube creators
- 28:50thousands and thousands of dollars.
- 28:51>> Yeah.
- 28:52>> Um tell us a story kind of from A to
- 28:54Zed.
- 28:54>> Yeah. So, um, it was one of my favorite
- 28:57channels that I've started.
- 28:59Arguably the most profitable one as well
- 29:01since we were going like we we developed
- 29:04such a good strategy for for for
- 29:07converting people who enjoyed the
- 29:08content that we put out and the value
- 29:10that we put out for free. Um, converting
- 29:12them into, you know, customers of
- 29:13digital products, um, affiliate
- 29:15marketing, sponsorships.
- 29:17If I post a video about how to create a
- 29:20video with AI, of course, all of these
- 29:23companies with AI creation tools, they
- 29:25won't pay me to to use their tool. Um,
- 29:28so so the strategy was very thin and
- 29:29very very profitable.
- 29:31>> But that channel
- 29:33um it was was around for probably like
- 29:36one and a half years, two years.
- 29:38>> Um went super well, become became the
- 29:40biggest channel in its niche in terms of
- 29:42uh views. um like it was going really
- 29:45really well and then uh YouTube for a
- 29:49very random reason which I still to this
- 29:52day cannot explain um took the channel
- 29:54down. I my conspiracy theory. I'm not
- 29:57going to say that this is 100% the case.
- 30:00Um but we were teaching people how to
- 30:03create content with AI. Um you know how
- 30:06to create this um videos with AI and
- 30:09make very profitable channels. And this
- 30:12is something that YouTube maybe don't
- 30:15want everyone to know like the broad
- 30:17masses that everyone just starts
- 30:18creating AI channels like
- 30:21>> all over the place. Um,
- 30:23>> I remember also at that time income
- 30:26claims being on YouTube because
- 30:27obviously the channel was teaching
- 30:29people how to make money and you were
- 30:30saying well you can make this money on
- 30:31YouTube and sometimes when you say that
- 30:34YouTube can have a problem with it.
- 30:35>> Yeah.
- 30:36>> Sometimes I think we were saying you
- 30:37know you can how to download a YouTube
- 30:40video off platform.
- 30:41>> Yeah. Like there were of course reasons
- 30:44stated by YouTube
- 30:46>> but these reasons
- 30:48>> didn't really make sense to what was
- 30:50actually reflected in the content.
- 30:52>> So they would for example claim that I
- 30:54had you know promised people to make
- 30:56tens of thousands of dollars in the
- 30:57intro of a video but when I look back
- 31:00that at that actual video there's no
- 31:02income claim at all. Like we're simply
- 31:04modeling a channel that is making a lot
- 31:06of money. Um, so, so my real theory is
- 31:10that with the content showing people how
- 31:13to create channels with AI, people, many
- 31:17beginners, they're they're quite lazy.
- 31:19So, instead of following the full
- 31:22tutorial and following the steps to
- 31:23create high quality channels, they will
- 31:25they will resort to just taking one or
- 31:27two of the steps and start flooding the
- 31:29platform with AI slop, which is
- 31:31definitely not something that YouTube
- 31:32wants and definitely not something that
- 31:34we even do or teach.
- 31:38like that is not the route that you want
- 31:39to go if you want to get monetized and
- 31:43start these profitable channels on
- 31:44YouTube
- 31:45>> and YouTube didn't like this. So, but
- 31:47this is just my conspiracy theory based
- 31:49on my experience. Uh I can never verify
- 31:52this information.
- 31:53>> Yeah. And that's why the you know other
- 31:54channel was kept a bit more low-key.
- 31:56Maybe it was a a hijab. We don't know.
- 31:58We don't know
- 31:58>> that as well. So um this this might be a
- 32:01very common question from from people
- 32:03who are watching all of these guys
- 32:04running successful uh YouTube
- 32:06operations. Um how to AI which was my
- 32:09most public channel um it actually ran
- 32:11into a bunch of botting issues like um I
- 32:14for a full month didn't earn any dollars
- 32:17uh any income in ad revenue
- 32:19>> simply because YouTube told me that
- 32:20people are sending bots and and fake
- 32:23engagement to my videos.
- 32:24>> And it's because you were public about
- 32:26it.
- 32:26>> Yeah. And that is why I was uh because I
- 32:28was public about the channel. So when
- 32:31you might be asking yourself like why
- 32:32aren't they just showing all of their
- 32:34channels publicly? Why would I be
- 32:36risking my channels my my essential
- 32:40business
- 32:41>> just for the few likes of a of a few
- 32:43people.
- 32:44>> Exactly. We learned the lesson learned
- 32:45the lesson the hard way.
- 32:46>> Yeah. And that channel, you know, was
- 32:48making me six figures a month. So it
- 32:51wasn't like a small hit to my to my
- 32:53income. Like six figures a month. I
- 32:55think that is there's quite a big income
- 32:57for anyone. Um so it is a shame but
- 33:00that's also part of the game. That's
- 33:02also why you differentiate your
- 33:03portfolio with multiple channels
- 33:06>> so that if one of them
- 33:08>> for whatever reason you should always be
- 33:10ready for this for whatever reason gets
- 33:12taken down. You're always ready and have
- 33:14a portfolio of channels to back.
- 33:16>> It's like you say it's running a
- 33:17business. You have to you know obviously
- 33:19be diversified and in any business in
- 33:21e-commerce you can have your ad account
- 33:22taken down. your suppliers can go wrong
- 33:25and I think with YouTube actually with
- 33:27yourself now you know so much about that
- 33:30side of things you've gone through the
- 33:31process of battling having channels
- 33:33taken down I think I don't think there's
- 33:36a single person that we've helped that
- 33:38has you know gotten monetized and has
- 33:41then had many if not any issues with
- 33:45being taken down
- 33:46>> yeah we we've helped hundreds of people
- 33:49start this these channels now I think
- 33:52there's one single channel that has been
- 33:55demonetized out of multiple hundreds of
- 33:59of monetized profitable super successful
- 34:02channels. There's one single channel
- 34:04that ran into issues.
- 34:06And if you look at that from from like
- 34:08the the helicopter perspective, that is
- 34:11not a lot. There's a very low risk
- 34:13factor.
- 34:13>> It's like less than 1%. And when you
- 34:15have a diverse channel, when you have
- 34:17multiple channels, multiple different
- 34:19niches, I mean, you barely even have a
- 34:22chance of kind of running into that
- 34:23provided you follow, you know. I think
- 34:25people, a lot of people say, you know, I
- 34:27post a YouTube video and I don't get any
- 34:28views and it's literally like one view,
- 34:30five views. I think shadow banning like
- 34:32is a huge thing.
- 34:33>> Yeah.
- 34:34>> Interesting actually. Yeah. Shadowbans
- 34:36>> also one of the most uh to loop back to
- 34:38your question about the most common
- 34:40beginner issues niches. That's kind of
- 34:43something that yes, everyone struggles
- 34:46with for good reason. The people that
- 34:48are making multiple hundreds of
- 34:50thousands per month with YouTube
- 34:51automation, like they have a very good
- 34:54process for finding new niches and
- 34:55they're like they spend most of their
- 34:58time on finding new niches. Shadowbans,
- 35:00however, is more a beginner centered
- 35:04problem because the people that that get
- 35:07over this obstacle, they don't have it
- 35:09so much more. So shadowban's basically
- 35:11for people that might not know what it
- 35:13is, you post a few videos as Louis here
- 35:15said you get like one view. You take a
- 35:18look at your impressions. You have 13
- 35:20impressions from usually it is search
- 35:23features meaning that people can only
- 35:25find your content through using the
- 35:27search bar on the YouTube uh platform.
- 35:30And this means that YouTube is not
- 35:31actively pushing your content out to the
- 35:35to the audience that they should be
- 35:36pushing it out to. your content is not
- 35:38being recommended on the homepage. It's
- 35:40not being recommended as like suggested
- 35:42videos on the side of the interface. Um,
- 35:46and this is a very common issue and a
- 35:49very easy issue to to get plagued by if
- 35:52you don't know what you're doing.
- 35:53>> Um,
- 35:54>> and there I mean we I can I can't even
- 35:56count probably on my fingers how many of
- 35:58those small issues, you know, people
- 36:00struggling with different metrics on
- 36:02their channels, people struggling with
- 36:03ideating the right content. And I think
- 36:06that's why as well having guidance I
- 36:08think I mean the free content on your
- 36:10channel is insanely valuable to anyone
- 36:14when you were starting out without any
- 36:15guidance kind of how was how was that
- 36:17how was that process for you like trying
- 36:18to figure things out by yourself? Oh
- 36:20man, I have to think back a few years.
- 36:23First, like the the biggest I I was kind
- 36:26of uh with, for example, my first
- 36:29successful channel, I was kind of lucky
- 36:31because uh um or actually I can't really
- 36:35put it like that. I had failed channels
- 36:36before that. So, so that doesn't really
- 36:38make sense. But let's say my first
- 36:39channel, first of all, just finding the
- 36:41niche. Obviously, I did a very bad job
- 36:42at it because the channel failed. Um, so
- 36:45I did I I fell into the the common
- 36:47beginner trap of just finding finding a
- 36:50channel on YouTube, it gets a lot of
- 36:52views. Hey, I'm going to do the same
- 36:53thing without validating the
- 36:55competition, without looking into if
- 36:58people like if there's room to create
- 36:59new channels in this niche.
- 37:01>> Um, I just kind of went blindly into it
- 37:04and didn't think too much else of it.
- 37:06And that is a very costly mistake
- 37:09because then if you post 5 10 15 videos
- 37:12you're you're paying let's now with AI
- 37:14it's not the same price but back then
- 37:16let's say I was paying60
- 37:18$70 per video to to get them created
- 37:21that times you know 15 what's that like
- 37:24more than $1,000
- 37:26um just thrown into the void because I
- 37:30didn't spend some extra time making sure
- 37:33that my niche was good
- 37:34>> and you didn't know how to do that
- 37:36because you don't know.
- 37:37>> Yeah, you don't know what to look for.
- 37:38If you if you haven't seen it before,
- 37:41you don't know what to look for. And
- 37:43that's also like one of part of the
- 37:45first like modules that we talk about in
- 37:47visit launchpad is just showing a bunch
- 37:50of examples of channels that have been
- 37:53very successful in in a broad range of
- 37:56or array of niches because you you just
- 37:59seeing these channels and understanding
- 38:01like hey this is the picture perfect
- 38:04faceless YouTube channel startup that
- 38:06gives you a very good understanding
- 38:08yourself of what you should be looking
- 38:09for when you are on the YouTube
- 38:12platform. So I would say ideally if
- 38:14you're a beginner just start off by
- 38:16absorbing as much information from the
- 38:18free content that I put out for example
- 38:20learn how these channels look um and
- 38:23then you'll be you'll be of a much
- 38:25better position to to find them
- 38:27yourself.
- 38:28>> Um yeah
- 38:30>> and I think having a niche found for you
- 38:32like because it's such an important
- 38:33thing and I know it's something that's
- 38:34helped so many people that you've
- 38:36personally worked with. Um, yeah. How
- 38:39can that have an impact? Because people
- 38:41realize like the niche is, you know, you
- 38:44could you could be interested in
- 38:45something. You could be and it's great
- 38:46to be getting a channel, you know,
- 38:47getting a niche that you are interested
- 38:48in, but if no one else is interested in
- 38:50it, you're not going to make a lot of
- 38:52money.
- 38:52>> Yeah, I've seen that many times. I've
- 38:54seen that many times on YouTube, you
- 38:56have to um luckily with how for example,
- 39:00that was I I love AI, which is also why
- 39:03I've been working so much with it. Uh
- 39:05but how to it's not always that you will
- 39:07start a channel in a niche you like
- 39:09adore and you you love so much and you
- 39:12enjoy um you know creating content in it
- 39:15and and that actually makes sense as
- 39:17well because you shouldn't be the person
- 39:19that is sitting there and creating
- 39:20content in it every single day like you
- 39:22are the strategist of your channel. This
- 39:24is just the core principles of YouTube
- 39:26automation overall. You are the let's
- 39:30say we we think about this like common
- 39:32mim image of like a puppet master where
- 39:34you see someone like um managing their
- 39:36puppets and all that kind of stuff like
- 39:38two hands in the darkness that should be
- 39:40you with your channel. You should be the
- 39:42strategist doing the ideation like
- 39:44thinking of like what topics based on
- 39:47previous data should we create content
- 39:50about and then you are not the person
- 39:52sitting and writing about these topics
- 39:54that is your script writer or AI in this
- 39:56case.
- 39:58And that's a huge part of things that
- 39:59people don't realize. You know, you
- 40:00don't have to be the person on the
- 40:01camera. You don't have to be the person
- 40:03showing your face. And when people hear
- 40:04YouTube, they just don't know. For you,
- 40:06where do you see things going, you know,
- 40:08in three, five, 10 years time with
- 40:10YouTube, people are starting who are
- 40:12starting now have that first mover as
- 40:13advantage with AI 100%. Where do you see
- 40:17some of these people that you've helped
- 40:18and even new people who are starting
- 40:19now? What do you think what do you see
- 40:21them being able to do in like the next
- 40:23three to five years? So wii with YouTube
- 40:26um the channels that are making the most
- 40:29amount of money it usually turns out to
- 40:32be the channels that are very early onto
- 40:35the niche. And these are also the
- 40:38channels the ones that do pick up
- 40:39momentum in their niche. Meaning first
- 40:41of all it's very important that you that
- 40:43you find this gap in the niche as we
- 40:45talked about. Um, but the channels that
- 40:48that have the longest
- 40:50lifespan and the channels that can be
- 40:52around for years and generate consistent
- 40:54income for years, these are the channels
- 40:57that were established first in their
- 40:59niche. So, for example, I ran hot for
- 41:02two years. It was a shame that it got
- 41:04randomly terminated, but there are also
- 41:06other channels in the portfolio that are
- 41:09still running from from way back when I
- 41:11started. So if you do start like you
- 41:15YouTube is a game that only gets easier
- 41:18and easier the more you do it. So your
- 41:21first channel or your first two channels
- 41:23they will be quite difficult as with any
- 41:26business model of course. But as you do
- 41:28get into the game and you learn more and
- 41:29more launching a channel and monetizing
- 41:32it within a month doesn't become that
- 41:34that becomes the ordinary. it doesn't
- 41:37become like a wow factor one time crazy
- 41:41surprise. So the people that are in the
- 41:45game for years to come, these are the
- 41:47people that early on learn these skills
- 41:50and just stay consistent throughout it.
- 41:53Um,
- 41:55>> many of the people that I met in South
- 41:56Africa when we were in in like the
- 41:58YouTube mastermind, uh, many of the guys
- 42:00making multiple hundreds of thousands of
- 42:02dollars wi-i with faceless YouTube,
- 42:04these are guys that have been in the
- 42:06game since 2016. Um, and they're just
- 42:09sitting there in the shadows, not even
- 42:10showing their face, never revealing
- 42:12their identity, running these now
- 42:14so-called media companies when you reach
- 42:15a certain scale.
- 42:16>> Exactly. Media companies. That's
- 42:18something I wanted to touch on because
- 42:19people maybe watch this and they'll
- 42:21think YouTube's not real business and
- 42:23this and that, but media companies and
- 42:25there are, you know, there are outside
- 42:27companies, there's private equity,
- 42:29>> Yeah.
- 42:29>> that are looking to invest in YouTube
- 42:31because it is the next, you know, if you
- 42:33look at a classroom nowadays,
- 42:35>> everyone under the age of 18,
- 42:38maybe none of them, like maybe one or
- 42:40two of them in a classroom will be
- 42:41watching television regularly compared
- 42:43to YouTube. People are learning things
- 42:45on YouTube. people are, you know, making
- 42:48like virtual connections and friendships
- 42:50with with random people on the internet
- 42:51through YouTube
- 42:53just it's insane.
- 42:55>> It's very true. Private equity is
- 42:56actually get if you look at the data, I
- 43:00actually talked about this with with a
- 43:02few guys in South Africa as well.
- 43:03Private equity is moving into YouTube
- 43:06more and more for every single year that
- 43:08goes. And the market for acquiring
- 43:11channels and selling channels is way
- 43:13bigger than most people might think.
- 43:16Like there are channels being listed
- 43:18every single day, probably hundreds of
- 43:20channels being listed every single day
- 43:22where people sell a channel they started
- 43:24three months ago for $100,000 or
- 43:27similar. And these media companies that
- 43:30are very
- 43:32aware how how to run fistless channels,
- 43:35they will be very happy to acquire
- 43:37smaller channels that they see potential
- 43:38in um and that they know that they can
- 43:40scale up with their experience. So
- 43:43yeah, it's honestly impossible to
- 43:45imagine how YouTube will look in the
- 43:47coming years because AI is just becoming
- 43:49better and better every single day.
- 43:51People are creating better and better
- 43:52content like people are soon creating
- 43:54movies with AI. I can assure you that
- 43:56within two years all movies that we will
- 43:58see on on television or in most of them
- 44:03>> they will be made with AI
- 44:04>> or at least partially and sometimes
- 44:06fully like the animated films
- 44:08>> and that side of things. And I think
- 44:10when people say, you know, YouTube
- 44:12they're banning AI, it's like, do you
- 44:15not understand? YouTube want people to
- 44:16watch their content and people will want
- 44:19to have, you know, imagine when you can
- 44:20watch your favorite movie, but your
- 44:22favorite movie isn't just generic. It's
- 44:25tailored kind of to you and it's you
- 44:27can, you know, the story line can change
- 44:29and there can be 10 different versions
- 44:30of of a film based on, you know, what's
- 44:32wanted.
- 44:34if that's what people are going to want
- 44:35and people maybe can't see that now but
- 44:37if you can start you know on your
- 44:39journey in YouTube and you get ahead of
- 44:40the game now whilst the opportunity is
- 44:43still there you can be the person
- 44:44selling to these media companies you can
- 44:45even build you know a very big like
- 44:48yourself portfolio of channels that
- 44:51make you income on autopilot
- 44:52>> and uh like there are we we call it like
- 44:57the Vietnamese uh I'm not going to say
- 45:00but like the Vietnamese mafia or um the
- 45:02Vietnamese squad
- 45:04Like there are people in or groups of
- 45:08people that are running YouTube faceless
- 45:11YouTube operations that are like beyond
- 45:14our understanding where
- 45:15>> beyond the scale that you can even
- 45:16comprehend.
- 45:17>> Yeah. And like they manage so hundreds
- 45:20of channels bringing in like multiple
- 45:22hundreds of thousands of dollars per day
- 45:25with these media companies who only the
- 45:28only assets they own are channels on
- 45:31YouTube faceless channels like channels
- 45:33started 10 years ago. Kids channels just
- 45:36posting kids animations
- 45:37>> like Coco Melon like everyone everyone's
- 45:39seen that one that is a multi-undred
- 45:42million dollar company.
- 45:43>> Yeah. And it's a it's a YouTube channel.
- 45:45>> Insane. So, so the people that 10 years
- 45:47ago they thought like, hey, let's create
- 45:49a faceless channel,
- 45:50>> but the opportunity is still there again
- 45:51now with AI.
- 45:52>> Yeah. It's just the same. It's like a
- 45:54it's like a crypto cycle almost. It's
- 45:57just looping over and over again. Yeah.
- 45:58It's honestly insane.
- 46:00>> Do you think people need any sort of
- 46:01special skills? Do you think there's
- 46:02like, you know, any need for that? Cuz
- 46:04some people, you know, have told me when
- 46:06I've mentioned Faceless YouTube to them,
- 46:07it's like, I just don't really believe
- 46:09that, you know, I've got what it takes.
- 46:11Do you need any sort of special skills
- 46:12or knowledge? I think that argument is
- 46:14is mainly because it has to do with
- 46:17creating content. Creating content
- 46:20overall in today's society is it's
- 46:23getting more more and more normal and
- 46:24people are getting more comfortable
- 46:25doing it. But it's still very
- 46:27stigmatized that if you create content,
- 46:30you're like not a serious person,
- 46:32>> especially for a normal person who works
- 46:34a job.
- 46:34>> Yeah. If you if I would go, for example,
- 46:37in my high school when I started, like
- 46:39if I told anyone that I was creating
- 46:41YouTube videos, which I did because I
- 46:43didn't think it was so weird, but it's
- 46:45like a stigmatized thing and and you're
- 46:47kind of like it's kind of something
- 46:49funny or something that that can never
- 46:52become anything. And
- 46:53>> I think this
- 46:55like makes people think what you just
- 46:57said that they like they kind of
- 47:00subconsciously use use these things um
- 47:04or or these things kind of
- 47:05subconsciously keep them from from just
- 47:09um what is it called my myction English
- 47:13barriers [laughter]
- 47:14>> from taking action and moving forward
- 47:16>> because they're scared of creating
- 47:18content so they cope with saying that
- 47:20they don't have the skills to create the
- 47:22content. Because I mean like we said
- 47:24with AI it's like anyone can do this.
- 47:26There are teenagers doing this. There's
- 47:28people in you know countries that have
- 47:30nowhere near the you know economic power
- 47:33of countries like the US and in Europe
- 47:35that are still doing so well and it's
- 47:38like if you can if you can click some
- 47:40buttons and you can manage a team and
- 47:42you can ideulate content and you kind of
- 47:43understand I mean like everything can be
- 47:46taught as well. It's not like an an
- 47:48insanely like from the outside it may
- 47:50seem wa I got to make a videos got an
- 47:52idea I got to hire this person but
- 47:55you can put it into a workflow in
- 47:56literally one to two hours a day.
- 47:57>> Yeah.
- 47:58>> And I don't think there's another
- 47:59business with the potential for scale
- 48:01like like YouTube.
- 48:02>> Yeah. I was speaking to to another
- 48:04student of mine called Husa. Um actually
- 48:07an interview with him coming out
- 48:11like as of recording this podcast in a
- 48:12in a week
- 48:13>> I spoke to him back
- 48:15>> and he's also I don't remember his exact
- 48:18age. Uh but he's also over
- 48:21>> he has children.
- 48:23>> Yeah. He has a whole family children. Um
- 48:27he's like 40 50 years old. And my my mom
- 48:30for example, she might not be the best
- 48:33with tech and you know online all of
- 48:36these kind of things. It might be super
- 48:37scary but I am very sure that if she
- 48:40just put her time into it like even she
- 48:43would be able to start a YouTube channel
- 48:45in today's day and age
- 48:47>> cuz it is like it is not that hard
- 48:49>> and you only need one channel to replace
- 48:51your entire income. Yeah,
- 48:53>> that's the craziest part cuz you know
- 48:55the way you look at things, you might be
- 48:57thinking of, oh, how can I build an
- 48:58empire of channels and make each channel
- 49:00make this amount and manage this whole
- 49:02team, but for the average person, one
- 49:05channel making 5K a month, which isn't a
- 49:07huge ask, especially when you consider
- 49:09sponsorships and how quickly sponsor
- 49:11sponsorships can come in in the right
- 49:12niche. Yeah, they they find you if
- 49:14you're creating good content like your
- 49:17if you're creating good content,
- 49:18especially educational content, like
- 49:21your email inbox will be overflowing
- 49:24with sponsors.
- 49:25>> Yeah. Is there any advice you have like
- 49:27because some people may take
- 49:29sponsorships too quickly on their
- 49:31channel. You know, they see a,000 $2,000
- 49:34being offered to them just to promote ex
- 49:36for example like a VPN. People see it
- 49:38all the time on their channels. But that
- 49:39can also have an impact on obviously
- 49:41your retention on your channel. Have you
- 49:43seen anything with that that you've had
- 49:44to
- 49:44>> I've seen a lot. So um the main thing if
- 49:47it's just a super super short
- 49:49integration
- 49:51doesn't really matter
- 49:53what kind of sponsorship you do. It
- 49:55won't hurt the retention too much if you
- 49:57put like an integration in in the middle
- 49:59of your video. Like you put a short
- 50:00snippet of like 20 seconds in the middle
- 50:03of your video. People would just skip
- 50:04past it. it will be negative for the
- 50:06brand because they won't get any
- 50:08conversions if you promote a VPN on a
- 50:10channel about baking cookies, you know.
- 50:13Um, but if you're making a dedicated
- 50:15video about something, let's say you
- 50:18you're a tech channel or you're a let's
- 50:21say you're a um um super random, let's
- 50:25say you're a online e-commerce uh
- 50:28channel. You're you're teaching people
- 50:30how to start with e-commerce and then
- 50:32suddenly like you're reviewing all of
- 50:34these different e-commerce tools,
- 50:35Shopify, whatever, WooCommerce, and then
- 50:38suddenly you post a video about a VPN,
- 50:42a full dedicated tutorial about a VPN,
- 50:45that will hurt the retention,
- 50:47>> not your viewers,
- 50:48>> they don't care about the VPN, they care
- 50:50about e-commerce.
- 50:51>> There's a difference between dedicated
- 50:52videos and just snippets.
- 50:54>> Yes. So, snippets pay of course less.
- 50:56It's just an integration. um they
- 50:58benefit the brand less. Um for example,
- 51:01on on how to AI, I did so many
- 51:04sponsorships, probably accumulated a few
- 51:07hundred,000 in in sponsorships on that
- 51:09channel. Um just that channel alone.
- 51:11>> Wow.
- 51:12>> And
- 51:14brands like brands are not so smart. At
- 51:17least what I think. They want to pay you
- 51:20so much more money for a dedicated
- 51:22video. I got paid over $10,000 for one
- 51:25video once on that channel and that like
- 51:28these dedicated videos usually just
- 51:30completely flop while a integration can
- 51:34get the normal video view. So I I'm not
- 51:36really sure.
- 51:37>> Yeah. Because they don't realize that a
- 51:38dedicated video won't actually pop off
- 51:40on the algorithm as well. But I mean
- 51:43>> to to the average person that's crazy
- 51:44getting paid $10,000 plus.
- 51:47>> Yeah. to make a video that, you know, it
- 51:49doesn't cost you anything much to
- 51:50produce.
- 51:52You were going to upload a video anyway.
- 51:54>> It's a guaranteed, you know, $9,950
- 51:58profit.
- 51:59>> All the digital products and stuff I
- 52:02already sold in the same video,
- 52:04>> man. How like I mean, you were 19, 20
- 52:07years old when this was happening.
- 52:09>> How did that feel? Like walk me through
- 52:11it. What was like that first moment
- 52:13where you're like, I made it, man.
- 52:16I I don't think I've touched that moment
- 52:17yet. [laughter] So, I I really like I'm
- 52:20I'm very conservative on I do like to to
- 52:23buy some expensive stuff because why
- 52:24not? You need to live a little bit. But
- 52:26in the beginning, I I've said most of
- 52:30the money that I've earned. I I've said
- 52:32it. I don't buy expensive clothes. I
- 52:33just have like the same clothes every
- 52:35single day. Like I have like 10 of these
- 52:37shirts, you know, 20 of these shirts.
- 52:40Same with the gins.
- 52:41>> So, I don't know. I don't think I've
- 52:43touched that. I made it stage yet. I my
- 52:47goals constantly just get bigger and
- 52:49bigger. So if I earn 100K in a single
- 52:52month, you know, when I started, I would
- 52:54have been like, what the actual, you
- 52:56know, [ __ ] is happening? How can I earn
- 52:58100K in a single month? But now that I
- 53:00do it, it's like, how can I get to a
- 53:02million a month?
- 53:04>> How can
- 53:04>> it gets normalized in your head?
- 53:06>> Yeah. And I don't know if that's too
- 53:08positive to be honest. It's I would say
- 53:09it's something that that uh
- 53:13that can can become a nightmare in the
- 53:15future. But uh
- 53:17>> but I suppose there are some people
- 53:18probably watching this with that type of
- 53:19personality where they're like, you
- 53:21know, I know I want to achieve this
- 53:23goal. I know I'm going to do it. And
- 53:26it's just a matter of time for them to
- 53:28obviously find the right knowledge and
- 53:29have the right, you know, systems in
- 53:31place to be able to do that. I think in
- 53:33some way you have to stay re like stay
- 53:35relative to uh to your own position
- 53:39because if you are making zero dollars
- 53:41and you're working a job where you're
- 53:43making 3K maybe your first goal
- 53:46shouldn't be I'm going to make 50k in
- 53:48two months you know because that's not
- 53:50going to be realistic. Your first goal
- 53:52should be hey let's try to get one
- 53:54channel on its feet. let's get that
- 53:56channel to, you know, two, threek per
- 53:58month so that it can
- 54:00>> you know replace the income that you're
- 54:01already getting or or just add onto it.
- 54:05Um, and you will have a much more
- 54:07pleasant journey starting your own
- 54:09business. I think
- 54:10>> I think the first step is that
- 54:11monetization and I think that's
- 54:13something I mean we've helped I don't
- 54:14know 100 plus.
- 54:17>> It's the best feeling your first channel
- 54:18being monetized.
- 54:19>> Yeah. because it makes it real, you
- 54:20know, that money's coming in and then
- 54:22when you see that once it's replicable
- 54:24and I think I mean that's part of the
- 54:26the guarantee I think with with what you
- 54:28do is like you know if someone comes in
- 54:31and and has you in their corner has a
- 54:33team that we haven't you know that you
- 54:35have in in their corner it's like
- 54:37there's no way that you can't succeed if
- 54:38you if you do put that work in.
- 54:40>> Yes. And the the only thing that can
- 54:43differ is the rate in which you do
- 54:45succeed. M
- 54:46>> some people Matias I think or I read as
- 54:51well both of them like they got
- 54:52monetized within two weeks of starting
- 54:54the channel. So they posted two three
- 54:57videos after consuming the program uh
- 55:00content for like you know one two weeks
- 55:02as well just getting started getting on
- 55:04fit posted two three videos on the
- 55:06channel and within two weeks of posting
- 55:08that that first video the channel is
- 55:10monetized
- 55:11>> and it's already making income.
- 55:13>> Yes. And if you go back to the the to
- 55:15the real interview that I'm going to
- 55:16post in a few days, um you will see that
- 55:19as soon as the channel was monetized,
- 55:21the first day of being monetized, it
- 55:23earned $300 or more in that first day.
- 55:26So it goes from $0 to $300 in a single
- 55:29day.
- 55:31And that feeling, I can tell you, is um
- 55:34it's a it's a stronger stronger
- 55:36addiction than anything else. And we
- 55:38talk about these crazy results, Matias
- 55:40and Reed, but we even got people like
- 55:41Aston who are just working normal jobs.
- 55:43He's from the UK like I am.
- 55:46>> And it's like
- 55:48being able to at least you don't even
- 55:49have to you don't have to leave your job
- 55:51to do YouTube.
- 55:52>> Like you started alongside your job,
- 55:54eventually you left. Yes.
- 55:55>> But you don't have to.
- 55:56>> No.
- 55:56>> And that's the beautiful thing. It's
- 55:57like it gives you that support. You
- 56:00know, people are talking about, you
- 56:01know, the cost of living, things are
- 56:02crazy. There's wars going on all over
- 56:04the world.
- 56:06But having that extra income just gives
- 56:08you, you know, for some people it's just
- 56:09that level of support. We're talking
- 56:10about, you know, million dollars a month
- 56:12with channels and stuff, but I think for
- 56:14most people it's what they want.
- 56:15>> Just 3K per month, like that will
- 56:17drastically change your life if you're
- 56:19if you're struggling with cash. And w
- 56:22with what you said, this it makes
- 56:25starting your own YouTube channel only a
- 56:27question of priorities.
- 56:29>> Mhm. Because the people that that start
- 56:31their channels whilst working a job,
- 56:33they simply dedicate one or two hours of
- 56:36their day to sit and work on their
- 56:37channels. Even though, you know, it
- 56:39might feel like they're studying. It
- 56:41might feel like, you know, they're
- 56:42learning something new. It's it's it
- 56:44like burns calories in your brain. I
- 56:46don't know, like it's it's constraining.
- 56:49>> Um, and other people choose to just
- 56:51spend that mindlessly scrolling Tik Tok
- 56:54or watching Netflix, for example.
- 56:56>> So, it's it's really just a question of
- 56:58priorities. anyone can do it, but not
- 57:01everyone and why you're such a good
- 57:03position will will do it.
- 57:05>> Um because in the beginning it does suck
- 57:08to not be able to get your dopamine from
- 57:09your daily scrolling. Like that's just
- 57:11the the truth. Like I love scrolling Tik
- 57:13Tok as well. Fortunately, I can scroll
- 57:15more now that I that
- 57:17>> the channels are running themselves.
- 57:18>> Yeah, fortunately I can scroll more now.
- 57:21If you're someone who's working all day
- 57:23and then you come home and like
- 57:25scrolling Tik Tok might be a good part
- 57:26of your day, but you have to give that
- 57:28up if you want to build a better future
- 57:30for yourself.
- 57:31>> Mhm. And you know, people with family
- 57:34commitments and all of that, it all ties
- 57:36into it. But at the end of the day, you
- 57:37do have to make sacrifices. And one
- 57:39sacrifice can be, you know, you're going
- 57:42to have to invest money into this. If
- 57:43you want a really good coach, if you
- 57:45want, you know, you know, the best
- 57:47athletes, they all have coaches. they
- 57:48will spend, you know, before someone
- 57:49goes pro in a sport, sport, business and
- 57:52sport are very interrelated. Before
- 57:53someone goes pro in a sport,
- 57:55>> they're investing into their training
- 57:57and so finding the right coach and also
- 57:59having the right people on your team. It
- 58:01does take a financial commitment, too.
- 58:02So that's why when people say, you know,
- 58:04YouTube is saturated. It's it's not
- 58:06these people are not committed and no
- 58:08wonder they don't see results.
- 58:09>> I think it's so funny always when people
- 58:11like they try to ask me.
- 58:14I've had probably over 10,000 comments
- 58:17like this by now on all of my channels
- 58:18about faceless YouTube. Like people are
- 58:21asking me, "How can I make money for
- 58:24free or how can I make money without
- 58:26spending a single dollar on tools?"
- 58:28You know, if you're going into this with
- 58:30that mindset that you're going to you're
- 58:32going to invest zero dollars, then you
- 58:35should be happy about a $100 return.
- 58:38Like that's the most you can expect.
- 58:41Um, I just find it so funny that people
- 58:43>> takes money to make money at the end of
- 58:44the day.
- 58:45>> It really does. And the people that are
- 58:46making the most amount of money, they
- 58:49are investing absurd amounts of money
- 58:52into growing their business and scaling
- 58:54the business.
- 58:55>> That doesn't mean it has to be, you
- 58:56know, a huge risk. It's not a case of,
- 58:59you know, you've got to spend hundreds
- 59:00of thousands of dollars to even get
- 59:01started. It is one of the most beginner
- 59:03friendly business models I've ever seen.
- 59:06And if you do have the time, you can
- 59:09really choose to save like let's say you
- 59:12have a lower budget for creating the
- 59:14content, but you have more time since
- 59:17we're we're working with outsourcing.
- 59:19You can learn some of these things
- 59:21yourself. Although it's like you will of
- 59:23course have a faster progression by by
- 59:25willing to invest. Sure, that that's
- 59:26just how it works for everything. Um but
- 59:29for example, let's say you you have um
- 59:32you have somewhat of a budget to start a
- 59:34channel. That's what you do. that's what
- 59:36you want to do. Um, you can do the
- 59:38script writing yourself with AI. You
- 59:40don't have to hire someone to do it for
- 59:41you.
- 59:41>> The thumbnails
- 59:43>> thumbnails, if you just spend 30
- 59:44minutes, an hour extra, you can do the
- 59:46thumbnail yourself. And uh, so like you
- 59:51don't have to go from zero to 100 and
- 59:53outsource and create a whole production
- 59:55team straight away if you have some
- 59:57extra time to devote. Mhm. And that's
- 1:00:00the thing, it's a very very flexible
- 1:00:02business model for people who are
- 1:00:04working 9 to5s, for even people who are
- 1:00:07just at home with family, uh, or people
- 1:00:10who just don't really know what
- 1:00:12direction they want to go in and they
- 1:00:13want something to commit themselves to a
- 1:00:14project. And and some people say, you
- 1:00:16know, I think I need to be creative for
- 1:00:18YouTube. What would you say to those
- 1:00:20people?
- 1:00:21I mean, uh, if you take a look at one of
- 1:00:24the one of the tutorials on my YouTube
- 1:00:26channel, you'll see that I ask Shajip to
- 1:00:28to to do a lot of the ideation.
- 1:00:29>> Exactly.
- 1:00:30>> Um, and even in many of my master
- 1:00:32classes, I talk about
- 1:00:35>> on YouTube, there's something that we
- 1:00:37refer to as the 8020 rule. I I've talked
- 1:00:40about it so many times now, so I'm going
- 1:00:42to keep it very brief. But the 8020 rule
- 1:00:44means that you you find a channel that
- 1:00:48is getting super good results like your
- 1:00:51in your niche perfect channel. You take
- 1:00:5380% of what they do and then you add 20%
- 1:00:56of your own kind of angle, your own
- 1:00:59secret sauce, whatever you want to call
- 1:01:01it.
- 1:01:01>> Creativity a little bit.
- 1:01:02>> Yes. And this you can just literally
- 1:01:05just highlight the entire page of a
- 1:01:07channel, copy that information, paste
- 1:01:09that into Shaship, and ask Shachip for
- 1:01:12subniches on that niche.
- 1:01:14>> Boom. You have like 100 new brainstorm
- 1:01:17subniches,
- 1:01:17>> subniches where it's at
- 1:01:19>> and and new angles that you can attack
- 1:01:21that have less competition um than the
- 1:01:24main niche. So yeah, you just have to be
- 1:01:27curious like with with AI, the people
- 1:01:29that get the best results, these are the
- 1:01:31people that are very curious to just
- 1:01:32learn more and use these tools.
- 1:01:36>> Yeah. One of my last questions, a bit
- 1:01:38off topic, is when you started YouTube,
- 1:01:41you mentioned you've been in class
- 1:01:42projects, you told a few people about
- 1:01:44YouTube when, you know, after a year of
- 1:01:46work, not seeing many results, you know,
- 1:01:49losing, you know, thousands of dollars
- 1:01:50that you didn't really have at the time.
- 1:01:53when you first started seeing the
- 1:01:55results and then you were getting paid
- 1:01:5610,000 for a video and you eventually
- 1:01:58scaled to six figures a month. How did
- 1:02:00those people, you know, those maybe old
- 1:02:02friends or people you knew or your
- 1:02:03family kind of react to that?
- 1:02:08Uh, of course, my family is very
- 1:02:09supporting. They're very happy. Um, I
- 1:02:12can like buy more stuff. We can
- 1:02:15experience more things. All of this kind
- 1:02:17of stuff. So, that's they're very
- 1:02:18supporting. Um, and when when someone
- 1:02:22sees money like this, it's not like my
- 1:02:24mom is going to say, "Hey, I don't
- 1:02:26believe in that. It's not going to make
- 1:02:27you money." Like, if if she sees that I
- 1:02:29make money and I show her, "Hey, here's
- 1:02:31the money."
- 1:02:32>> She's not going to force you to go to
- 1:02:33university now.
- 1:02:33>> Yeah. Exactly. So, uh, but friends, many
- 1:02:36of them have actually get got into
- 1:02:38Fesa's YouTube as well, um, after seeing
- 1:02:41everything. And of course, um, I've I've
- 1:02:44tried to help them as much as I can.
- 1:02:46>> Mhm.
- 1:02:46>> Yeah. the non-believers, they're still
- 1:02:50doing their their thing, like working
- 1:02:52the same job. So, I'm not here to hate
- 1:02:54on anyone. I I never like I I truly
- 1:02:57believe that hate only comes from below
- 1:02:59you.
- 1:03:00>> Yeah.
- 1:03:00>> Um like you you rarely get hate from
- 1:03:03someone that has come further than you
- 1:03:05in life. And that is due to a very good
- 1:03:07reason. Um that hate just originates in
- 1:03:10in jealousy. Um so like I don't really
- 1:03:13hate on the people that didn't believe
- 1:03:15in me.
- 1:03:16I can only do most and try like I I'll
- 1:03:19share the information with them if if
- 1:03:21they're really serious about this.
- 1:03:24>> And there's so much free information out
- 1:03:25there. I think what a lot of people lack
- 1:03:27is someone to hold them accountable,
- 1:03:29someone to actually make sure they're
- 1:03:30doing the right thing, someone they can
- 1:03:31ask cuz at the end of the day, you can
- 1:03:33ask Chat GBT, am I doing the right
- 1:03:34thing, but everyone else is asking CHBT,
- 1:03:38oh, is my business strategy correct? And
- 1:03:40>> I think that's where the limitations of
- 1:03:42AI will come into play. Yeah, you you do
- 1:03:45have to like when pe I've said it
- 1:03:48before, when people start like
- 1:03:49outsourcing their intuition,
- 1:03:51um that's uh when we've reached a point
- 1:03:53where
- 1:03:54>> we're [laughter] nearly there.
- 1:03:55>> Yeah, it's going to be scary, but yeah,
- 1:03:59>> it's insane.
- 1:04:00>> I think we've been on for
- 1:04:01>> over an hour. An hour.
- 1:04:03>> What's one thing that you want to leave
- 1:04:05the audience with? Maybe a message to
- 1:04:07let's say you at 17 years old right
- 1:04:09before you started a faceless YouTube
- 1:04:10channel. For someone who's like, "Wow,
- 1:04:12I've just watched this entire podcast
- 1:04:14and I'm like, you know, should I should
- 1:04:16I really, you know, really commit to
- 1:04:17this and really take it seriously?"
- 1:04:19>> Yes, I would say
- 1:04:21you can succeed by all means by by going
- 1:04:26the trial and error route for sure. Like
- 1:04:29I'm a testament of that myself. you can
- 1:04:32you don't need any kind of coaching
- 1:04:34but you need to also understand that
- 1:04:37what like the stigma about coaches and
- 1:04:40like everything being a scam that can
- 1:04:43also be very misleading me for example
- 1:04:45even though I'm making very good good
- 1:04:48amounts of money at a very very young
- 1:04:49age like I'm still paying for coaching
- 1:04:52myself from people that are above the
- 1:04:54level from people that are making like
- 1:04:56500k a month I'm still paying for
- 1:04:58coaching from people that are at a
- 1:05:00higher better than me. So, if you truly
- 1:05:03want to give this your all, if you're
- 1:05:05truly a person that that will put in the
- 1:05:07effort and you have the budget for it,
- 1:05:10then I wouldn't be so scared
- 1:05:14>> for Exactly. Exactly. And it can be
- 1:05:16anyone. Obviously, you're biased. I'm
- 1:05:19probably quite biased seeing what you've
- 1:05:20done,
- 1:05:21>> but like I feel like at the end of the
- 1:05:22day,
- 1:05:24>> it just comes to committing to yourself,
- 1:05:25committing to that that you can do
- 1:05:27something and and really making it work
- 1:05:28cuz you can make a system. It's going to
- 1:05:30be like standard like stay consistent
- 1:05:32but but it really is true and especially
- 1:05:34with YouTube the the people that get the
- 1:05:37furthest and the people like Matias Tano
- 1:05:40Peter everyone in the program that are
- 1:05:43getting these super cool results they're
- 1:05:45the people that keep on posting
- 1:05:48for two three months and and they would
- 1:05:50keep on posting even if they didn't get
- 1:05:53a single view like even if they didn't
- 1:05:55get this success I'm 100% convinced that
- 1:05:58people like Reed Mataz, they would
- 1:06:00continue posting until they started
- 1:06:02seeing views.
- 1:06:03>> They have that mindset.
- 1:06:04>> Yeah.
- 1:06:04>> So, if you're that if you're that type
- 1:06:05of person, where can where can people
- 1:06:07find you?
- 1:06:08>> I mean, you're already on my channel of
- 1:06:10some sort. So, uh just shoot me shoot me
- 1:06:13a message. If you're on YouTube, then uh
- 1:06:15you can always go on my Instagram and
- 1:06:16shoot me a message. I answer as much as
- 1:06:18I can.
- 1:06:19>> I see you messaging a lot of people all
- 1:06:20the time. [laughter]
- 1:06:21>> He gets a lot of messages, but he's
- 1:06:23>> starting to tone down on the Tik Toks
- 1:06:25scrolling and and spend that on
- 1:06:26messaging [laughter]
- 1:06:27on Instagram as well. Um, no, but you
- 1:06:29can send me a message. If I don't
- 1:06:31answer, then u Yeah, like there's
- 1:06:35>> search basis launchpad on on the
- 1:06:36internet and you find it maybe link in
- 1:06:38the bio.
- 1:06:38>> Uh, Twitter also active,
- 1:06:41>> wherever you want to find me. Leo,
- 1:06:43>> it's been a pleasure.
- 1:06:44>> Thank you, man. I'll see you in the next
- 1:06:45one.
