From 0 to MONETIZED in 28 Days! 🔥 (The Strategy That Changed My Life) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00I just completed 4000 hours of watch
- 0:02time on my YouTube channel. In just 28
- 0:06days, my 4000 hours of watch time were
- 0:09completed, as there are two criteria
- 0:12for YouTube monetization. The first is
- 0:154000 hours of watch time. The second is
- 0:171000 subscribers. But no content
- 0:20creator tells you how to actually
- 0:22complete this in reality. Many new
- 0:25content creators feel that this target
- 0:27is very hard or even impossible. It is
- 0:30a little hard. But if you have tips,
- 0:33tricks, and a good roadmap, anyone can
- 0:36complete everything. In this journey,
- 0:40the mistakes I made, the tips I took,
- 0:42and the tricks I used, I am going to
- 0:44show and tell you all of that in this
- 0:46video. So this video is going to be
- 0:49very useful for those content creators
- 0:51who genuinely want to monetize their
- 0:53YouTube. I will not tell you anything
- 0:56fake at all. And trust me, the last
- 0:59point is very important. So don't miss
- 1:02that at all. Take a diary and pen with
- 1:06you and note down everything one by one
- 1:09. You must have watched many videos and
- 1:12had many confusions, but in this video,
- 1:14all those confusions will be cleared.
- 1:16So let's start the video. The biggest
- 1:23mistake that every content creator is
- 1:25making today. Do you know what people
- 1:28think? That I will post Shorts every
- 1:30day and my watch time will be completed
- 1:32. My YouTube channel will get monetized
- 1:35. That is why they are working so hard
- 1:38for Shorts every day. They shoot Shorts
- 1:40all day and then upload. This is a huge
- 1:43myth. Only if your Shorts go
- 1:46extraordinarily viral and get millions
- 1:48of views will your YouTube account get
- 1:51monetized. Not all Shorts get millions
- 1:54of views. First, stop this myth or get
- 1:57it out of your head that I will post
- 2:00Shorts daily and my YouTube channel
- 2:03will get monetized. Just by posting
- 2:05Shorts, a YouTube channel does not get
- 2:08monetized. I am not saying that you
- 2:09should stop posting Shorts altogether.
- 2:12Shorts also help in your YouTube
- 2:14monetization. They bring you
- 2:16subscribers. When you post Shorts, and
- 2:19people like them, they subscribe to you
- 2:22. And your 1000 subscriber criteria
- 2:25gets completed quickly. Post Shorts,
- 2:28but along with that, focus on long-form
- 2:30videos as well. I will explain this to
- 2:33you with my own story. Initially, I
- 2:36used to post Reels on Instagram that
- 2:38were motivational or related to quotes.
- 2:41They were related to my lifestyle. I
- 2:43got a very good response from people
- 2:45there. Then I read the comments and
- 2:48realized that people were suggesting I
- 2:50post on YouTube as well. They said they
- 2:53aren't always on Instagram or that they
- 2:55want to watch me on YouTube. So I
- 2:57thought, why not post on YouTube what I
- 3:00am doing on Instagram? So I started by
- 3:02posting Shorts. I started shooting and
- 3:05posting the same types of videos on
- 3:07YouTube that I used to post on
- 3:08Instagram. Then I felt that I should
- 3:11explain to people the growth I was
- 3:13experiencing on Instagram. I wanted to
- 3:15tell people because there are many
- 3:16content creators like me who are in the
- 3:18starting phase. They don't know what
- 3:20they should do. How exactly do
- 3:21followers come? What things should they
- 3:25do to make their content creation
- 3:28journey easier? That's why I started
- 3:31posting videos about my entire
- 3:34experience, many tips and tricks, my
- 3:37setup, my camera, and my mic. And the
- 3:40most important videos were on
- 3:41scriptwriting, which mic to use, what
- 3:43hooks to provide, and how to decide a
- 3:46niche. I started posting all these
- 3:48videos on my YouTube channel. And
- 3:50slowly, people started liking them too.
- 3:52If you want to watch those videos, I am
- 3:54giving the link here. Click here and
- 3:56make sure to watch them. Do you know
- 3:58what happened because of this? I was
- 3:59able to share my journey with people
- 4:02because I couldn't explain much in
- 4:05Shorts. Then I felt, why don't I just
- 4:07start making long-form videos? I
- 4:09wouldn't be able to explain things that
- 4:10well in a Short. But if I made long
- 4:13videos and was able to explain things,
- 4:15it would help people. That's why I
- 4:18started posting long videos. People
- 4:21started liking them, and I started
- 4:22getting views. One of my videos went
- 4:25viral two weeks ago. People liked it a
- 4:28lot. Recently, I posted a video
- 4:31yesterday, and it already has over 90k
- 4:34views today. That is why I say, keep
- 4:36posting videos. Post long-form videos.
- 4:38In the beginning, when I used to post
- 4:40long videos, I would barely get 2,000
- 4:42to 3,000 views. Back then, I didn't
- 4:43even have many subscribers. I didn't
- 4:45even have 1,000 subscribers. But I
- 4:47never gave up. I tried working hard. I
- 4:50remained very consistent. After that,
- 4:53you have to post at least 10 to 12 long
- 4:56videos. Only then will one of your
- 4:58videos eventually go viral. Trust me,
- 5:01if you post long-form videos, your
- 5:03monetization process will be even
- 5:05faster. What would take you a year will
- 5:09be completed in 6 months or even 2
- 5:11months. Don't rely entirely on Shorts.
- 5:15I'm not saying that you should shoot
- 5:17long-form videos every day. I know that
- 5:20when we make long-form videos, there's
- 5:21editing, scriptwriting, and shooting
- 5:23involved. Sometimes there's background
- 5:26noise. We aren't able to do it. At
- 5:28least you'll be able to make one video
- 5:29a week. Upload Shorts daily. Stay
- 5:32active on YouTube. Post every single
- 5:35day. But along with that, upload one or
- 5:38two long-form videos a week. And as you
- 5:41learn things like editing and
- 5:43scriptwriting, shift to two videos.
- 5:46Post two long-form videos a week. And
- 5:48if you don't know all these things. If
- 5:50you are very new to the content
- 5:52creation journey, then ask me questions
- 5:53in the comments. I will help you myself
- 5:55. I will help you personally. And start
- 5:59posting long-form videos. Even if you
- 6:02haven't been doing it until now, start
- 6:04today. This is a very important part of
- 6:06the video now. Listen to this with
- 6:08complete focus. Because I have already
- 6:11told you what the mistakes are and what
- 6:13you shouldn't do. But now I am going to
- 6:16tell you what I actually did that
- 6:19helped me complete 4,000 hours of watch
- 6:23time in just four weeks. People take at
- 6:27least a year or two to complete this
- 6:29criteria. But what exactly did I do to
- 6:33achieve this? Make sure to watch the
- 6:36video until the end. The main,
- 6:38important part of the video is starting
- 6:40now. First of all, let's talk about
- 6:42what I used to do. I think I opened my
- 6:45YouTube channel in May. I created a new
- 6:48account. I didn't use my old Google
- 6:50account. I started everything from
- 6:53scratch. Then I created the channel,
- 6:55but I had no idea what to upload. And
- 6:58at that time, I was also very lazy. I
- 7:01didn't have time either because I was
- 7:03already posting Reels. On Instagram, I
- 7:06had editing and shooting to do, so I
- 7:08didn't get any time. Then I thought,
- 7:11why not post the same Shorts and Reels
- 7:13that I upload on Instagram to YouTube?
- 7:16I started uploading them. My old
- 7:18subscribers know that what I posted
- 7:21there, I posted here. I wasn't trying
- 7:24anything new on YouTube. Then it
- 7:26started getting views. It started
- 7:28getting 1k to 2k views. And slowly, my
- 7:31subscribers started growing too. And I
- 7:33reached 500 to 700 subscribers. Then I
- 7:37noticed that my YouTube wasn't growing
- 7:40as fast as my Instagram was. Even after
- 7:44reaching 700-800 subscribers at that
- 7:46time, I didn't post long videos because
- 7:48I was confident that my reels and
- 7:51shorts would get me subscribers. My
- 7:53account would get monetized. Then one
- 7:55day I thought and analyzed what I
- 7:58should do. And then I got an idea. Why
- 8:01don't I help people? What I am posting
- 8:03on Instagram. I should start posting my
- 8:05Instagram journey on YouTube. I learned
- 8:08editing. I knew how to edit shorts and
- 8:10reels. I didn't know how to edit long
- 8:13videos at all. Then I used many apps. I
- 8:16learned a decent level of entry-level
- 8:19editing. After that, I started writing
- 8:21scripts myself. Writing scripts is very
- 8:23important. Giving a hook is important.
- 8:25Choosing your niche is important. All
- 8:27these things have to be done in the
- 8:29beginning. I did all those things. And
- 8:31finally, one day I made a video. I am
- 8:33honestly telling you, that video didn't
- 8:35get many views. It was my first long
- 8:37YouTube video, and even after posting
- 8:39it, I didn't get many views, but some
- 8:40did come. It got 500-600 views, but I
- 8:43didn't get demotivated because I knew
- 8:45it was my first video and it wouldn't
- 8:48go viral. Views won't come suddenly.
- 8:50After that, I slowly started making
- 8:52more videos. For one or two months, I
- 8:55posted long videos like that. Still, I
- 8:59felt like I wasn't getting the number
- 9:01of views I should have been getting.
- 9:03Then I realized that I must be making a
- 9:05mistake somewhere. I am making the
- 9:07mistakes myself. So do you know what I
- 9:09did? I simply opened my video. I
- 9:12watched the whole video from start to
- 9:14finish. And then I analyzed myself what
- 9:17I could have said better in this video.
- 9:21How I could have spoken better and what
- 9:23better examples I could have given. Am
- 9:25I connecting with people or not? I
- 9:28analyzed all these things. Watching the
- 9:31video with complete calm and focus.
- 9:34Because these things are very important
- 9:36, and if you are still watching, watch
- 9:37till the end. Analysis was done. But
- 9:40what changes should I make in myself
- 9:42now? Because I had formed this routine
- 9:44that yes, I have to write scripts like
- 9:47this, edit like this, and upload like
- 9:49this. But no, then I changed my
- 9:51perspective. Then I changed my thinking
- 9:54. Read a lot of good books. Watched a
- 9:56lot of good videos. Content creators
- 9:59who are in my niche. I watched all the
- 10:03videos in my niche that went viral. I
- 10:05am not saying that you should copy the
- 10:07entire famous videos of others. No. But
- 10:10you can take ideas from them. I tried
- 10:12this myself. After that, I started
- 10:15making videos again. I also made
- 10:17changes to the editing. If you look at
- 10:19my old videos for editing. There was a
- 10:21different editing style there. I didn't
- 10:22know how to edit that well back then.
- 10:24And now I have learned editing. Started
- 10:27doing good editing. And this all helped
- 10:31me and resulted in crossing more than
- 10:334,000 hours of watch time, which is now
- 10:35complete. I will also put a screenshot
- 10:38here. You can check it. I am not lying
- 10:41at all. This has been completed. That's
- 10:43why I am telling you. Then I realized
- 10:45that the hard work I had been putting
- 10:47in for two-three months, I guess I
- 10:49couldn't do it at that time because I
- 10:51wasn't better then. But if I hadn't
- 10:54started or posted at that time, I
- 10:56wouldn't have known. I wouldn't even
- 10:59have videos to analyze what mistakes I
- 11:01was making. That's why if you are in
- 11:03the starting stage right now. Post it.
- 11:05Whatever you know, post it. We can
- 11:07analyze ourselves only after waiting a
- 11:09while, right? Analyze it. Make small
- 11:13changes to the content and quality.
- 11:15Keep getting better and your watch time
- 11:18will also be completed. Secondly, let's
- 11:21talk about what massive change I made?
- 11:23This is a very important point. Many
- 11:25content creators ignore this. But if
- 11:28you are watching this video, you won't.
- 11:30At least not from today onwards. That
- 11:32is the thumbnail. Your thumbnail
- 11:34matters a lot. Your thumbnail matters
- 11:37even more than your video does. Because
- 11:40many people click on the video only
- 11:42after seeing your thumbnail. And until
- 11:45they tap, they won't see the video.
- 11:48That's why keep your video title and
- 11:50thumbnail very crisp, and try two or
- 11:52three thumbnails. YouTube has an option
- 11:55for that. It keeps changing and showing
- 11:57two or three thumbnails to different
- 11:59people. And the thumbnail that gets
- 12:01more taps is what the algorithm
- 12:03prioritizes. Use words in your
- 12:04thumbnail. Show expressions. Use
- 12:07expressions of shock, importance, or
- 12:09confusion to create your thumbnails.
- 12:13And add as many words as you can to the
- 12:15thumbnail. Use good words. Use a good
- 12:17font and keep it clear. That thumbnail
- 12:19should look attractive to people. And
- 12:22at first glance, they should feel that
- 12:24yes, this video is worth watching. I
- 12:26should watch this. That covers all
- 12:29those things. I learned editing,
- 12:30learned scriptwriting, changed
- 12:32thumbnails, changed titles, and put in
- 12:34so much effort. Still, I wasn't getting
- 12:37views. Even after doing all of that.
- 12:39And what I am telling you now is from
- 12:42just a month ago. It's not like I'm
- 12:44talking about a year ago. No, I still
- 12:46wasn't getting views. Then I thought a
- 12:49lot about why they weren't coming. Is
- 12:51my content wrong, is my niche wrong, or
- 12:53why aren't people liking it? Then I
- 12:57opened my YouTube Studio, went into
- 12:59analytics, and studied everything that
- 13:02was happening. I knew that the
- 13:05subscribers coming in, and I had
- 13:07reached 1000 subscribers by then. The
- 13:10first criteria was met. But the main
- 13:13criteria, the 4000 hours of watch time,
- 13:15wasn't being met. Then I realized that
- 13:18all these subscribers were from my
- 13:20Shorts. Then something clicked in my
- 13:23mind. This is very important. Note it
- 13:26down right now. It is: your long-form
- 13:30viewers and short-form viewers are
- 13:32always different. Highlight this line
- 13:36somewhere. Many creators don't even
- 13:39know about this myth. This is a simple
- 13:41difference. Between long-form and
- 13:43short-form. We should focus on
- 13:46short-form. I'm not saying you should
- 13:48ignore it completely. No, along with
- 13:50that, you should also manage long-form
- 13:53videos. And after knowing all these
- 13:56things, I made changes to myself. I
- 13:58started making videos keeping all these
- 14:02things in mind. And finally, one of my
- 14:05videos went viral. If you are still
- 14:08watching the video, then definitely
- 14:10note this point down. This is a very
- 14:12important point. I could have said this
- 14:14at the beginning, but I wanted to tell
- 14:16this to real audiences, to real content
- 14:19creators. I know many people won't even
- 14:21be watching the video by now. They must
- 14:24have left. But you are the one. Watch
- 14:28this until the end. It’s a very
- 14:29important point. Let’s talk about the
- 14:32YouTube algorithm. Many content
- 14:34creators don’t even talk about it.
- 14:37You probably don't even know these
- 14:38things. That’s why listen carefully.
- 14:41YouTube is software made by humans that
- 14:45runs entirely on mathematical methods.
- 14:50If you understand YouTube's algorithm
- 14:52and mathematics, all your videos will
- 14:55go viral too. And this isn't anything
- 14:59complicated or hard. It is a very easy
- 15:02thing. First, let's talk about when you
- 15:04upload a video to YouTube. After
- 15:07uploading, you check how many views and
- 15:09subscribers you got. But along with
- 15:12that, YouTube also reviews your video.
- 15:15YouTube also checks how many times this
- 15:17video has been tapped. How many likes
- 15:19and subscribers are coming in. How long
- 15:22people are watching this video. If they
- 15:24are watching it for a long time. The
- 15:26engagement rate is high. Then YouTube
- 15:29itself pushes your video. It sets the
- 15:31algorithm itself. Your video goes into
- 15:34everyone's feed. YouTube pushes it that
- 15:38much more. If your content quality is
- 15:41good, believe me. YouTube itself helps
- 15:44you to get famous and go viral. I kept
- 15:48this one thing in my mind and looked at
- 15:51my niche closely. I helped YouTube
- 15:54myself. I helped YouTube's algorithm
- 15:57itself. I didn't confuse YouTube. I
- 15:59stuck to one niche. I also made many
- 16:03mistakes in the beginning. I made the
- 16:06reels I started uploading on YouTube
- 16:09private. I made all those shots private
- 16:12. I had uploaded a cooking shot in
- 16:14between, it didn't work either. I made
- 16:16that private too. After that, I used to
- 16:19show a little lifestyle, I made that
- 16:21private too. Why? Because I felt I
- 16:23shouldn't confuse YouTube. Shouldn't do
- 16:25that, I felt. Because when I am showing
- 16:27some lifestyle. Showing some cooking
- 16:30and here in long videos I am explaining
- 16:32to people. I am giving strategies to
- 16:34people. Don't you think YouTube will
- 16:36get confused? YouTube won't know if I
- 16:39should show this to food audience,
- 16:41lifestyle audience, or those who come
- 16:44to learn value. Don't confuse YouTube.
- 16:48Stick to one niche. Don't go and upload
- 16:51cooking videos today. Yesterday you
- 16:53posted a lifestyle video. The day
- 16:54before, you posted gym motivation, and
- 16:57so on. No, stick to one niche. Post
- 17:00short-form and long-form content about
- 17:02that only. You are showing something
- 17:04different in shorts and something else
- 17:06in long videos. Don't have a dual
- 17:08personality. Whatever it is, keep it
- 17:10consistent. This will help your videos
- 17:13go viral. Look at this with an example.
- 17:16There is a content creator who is
- 17:18posting everything randomly. Went out
- 17:20today, made a vlog. Made something in
- 17:22the kitchen today, made a video of it.
- 17:24Made a recipe video. Made gym videos.
- 17:27They are posting, getting views,
- 17:29subscribers, and watch time. No,
- 17:31opposite to that, there is a creator
- 17:34who is planning strategically. Their
- 17:36niche, let's say it's about the gym.
- 17:38Okay? It's about the gym. I am going to
- 17:41the gym. I am showing its lifestyle.
- 17:43About the gym, what clothes I wear,
- 17:45which shoes I prefer? What exercises do
- 17:48you do? How long do I exercise? What
- 17:50all should one do? What all should one
- 17:52eat? They are posting all these things.
- 17:55Only then will the audience connect.
- 17:57Because it is helpful for those who are
- 17:58going to the gym. They know that this
- 18:00person is posting about the gym. It
- 18:02will help me, so they will subscribe.
- 18:05They will watch your long videos as
- 18:07well as short videos. If you have a
- 18:09cooking channel, you are posting how to
- 18:11cook. You are posting recipes. You are
- 18:14posting new things. You are posting
- 18:16cooking tips. How should one cook? What
- 18:19tips should one use? How to make
- 18:20something sweet? How to make something
- 18:22spicy? You are posting everything. So,
- 18:25someone who cooks will follow you. They
- 18:28will watch your long videos. They will
- 18:29watch your short videos. But if today
- 18:31you posted gym, tomorrow cooking, and
- 18:34the day after lifestyle, then who will
- 18:36even follow you? Won't it just become a
- 18:38complete mix? That is why stick to a
- 18:41niche. Post the same content. First
- 18:45find out what people like to watch from
- 18:46you. What are people liking to watch?
- 18:49Do this in the beginning. But if it's
- 18:51been a month or two on YouTube, now
- 18:53it's time to make them all private. I
- 18:55also made many mistakes. I also posted
- 18:57a lot of mixed content. But I made them
- 19:00private. I came to one niche. I came to
- 19:03one topic. I posted related content.
- 19:06Then my YouTube channel got monetized.
- 19:10It's very simple. It’s not hard at
- 19:12all. If you understand this math, then
- 19:15you can do it. And if you’re still
- 19:18confused after watching this video, ask
- 19:20me. The comment section is open for you
- 19:22. That is why I’ve kept the comments
- 19:24open. Tell me your doubts and the
- 19:26problems you are facing. I want you to
- 19:29complete your watch time hours criteria
- 19:32as well. May your YouTube channel also
- 19:35get monetized. Just within a single
- 19:38month. Realistically, it could take a
- 19:40year, but I want to shorten that
