  1. 0:00So you're flamboyant and you want to
  2. 0:01sound feminine. Well, it's actually way
  3. 0:03easier than you think. This is a
  4. 0:04three-step framework that actually make
  5. 0:06you sound feminine. Step one, range.
  6. 0:09Your voice isn't too deep to sound
  7. 0:11feminine. You probably just haven't
  8. 0:12found your upper range yet. If your
  9. 0:13voice naturally sits higher, it might
  10. 0:15come easy at first, but a deep voice
  11. 0:17just means it takes more practice.
  12. 0:20A good way to start is by testing your
  13. 0:21range. Play around with your voice, sing
  14. 0:22scales, try character voices to see how
  15. 0:24high you can go without straining.
  16. 0:26You're not trying to sound like that all
  17. 0:27the time, you're just trying to figure
  18. 0:28out what your voice can do.
  19. 0:31Step two, resonance. Place your hand on
  20. 0:33your chest and hum. Feel that vibration?
  21. 0:35>> Out of pocket for that That's
  22. 0:37chest resonance.
  23. 0:39Nice. It's one of the things that can
  24. 0:40make your voice sound deeper, heavier,
  25. 0:42and more masculine. Now, move your hand
  26. 0:44up to your nose and cheeks. Hum again,
  27. 0:46but this time try to feel the buzz
  28. 0:48higher up in your face. It might feel
  29. 0:49strange at first, but this is the shift
  30. 0:51[music] you're looking for. Step three,
  31. 0:53mannerisms. People with feminine voices
  32. 0:55usually don't sound flat or monotone.
  33. 0:57They add more variation to how they
  34. 0:58speak so it comes across a bit more
  35. 1:00melodic or sing-songy. They emphasize
  36. 1:02certain words and play around instead of
  37. 1:04keeping everything at the same level.
  38. 1:06Even a small change like that can make
  39. 1:08your voice sound more feminine and
  40. 1:09expressive. Also, the best thing you can
  41. 1:11do is recording your voice. Why? Well,
  42. 1:13it gives you instant feedback so you can
  43. 1:15analyze what you like and dislike about
  44. 1:17your voice
  45. 1:19and your progress. There's some great
  46. 1:21free softwares you can install like OBS
  47. 1:23Studio or Audacity. But if you really
  48. 1:25hate your own voice, you can slap on
  49. 1:27some effects like equalizers and
  50. 1:29compressors to bring out your high ends
  51. 1:31or low ends and auto effects to make
  52. 1:33your voice sound better. Now you know
  53. 1:35how to sound feminine, but what about
  54. 1:37getting an actual feminine boyfriend? If
  55. 1:39you're curious, click the video on the
  56. 1:41screen right now.
