- 0:00Hi everyone, welcome back. I hope you're
- 0:01all doing well. Today, we are covering
- 0:03another predator that just so happens to
- 0:05be a teacher. How many are there out
- 0:08there? It's absolutely ridiculous. And
- 0:10the predator from today's case is a
- 0:12woman named Pamela Rogers, and she
- 0:15is disgusting, like all of them. I don't
- 0:17know I don't know what I was thinking,
- 0:19and it's clear that I wasn't thinking. I
- 0:22was blinded by emotions. Because Pamela
- 0:25thought that she had it all. She thought
- 0:27that she was better than other people.
- 0:28She was prom queen when she was in
- 0:30school. She had a pretty successful
- 0:32modeling career. She then became a
- 0:34teacher, and she became known as the hot
- 0:37teacher by her students. She even taught
- 0:40sex education herself sometimes, which
- 0:42is just truly disturbing. But there was
- 0:44one thing that Pamela's students and
- 0:46nobody actually realized is that Pamela
- 0:49was also a sex addict. And over time,
- 0:51she started acting more and more
- 0:52inappropriate with her students. Being
- 0:55very flirtatious, wearing very revealing
- 0:57clothing, making very uncomfortable,
- 1:00disturbing, sexualized comments until
- 1:03they escalated into her targeting a
- 1:06student and becoming a predator.
- 1:09What I did was wrong, and I am deeply
- 1:12I regret everything. And that's what we
- 1:15are covering today, so let's jump in.
- 1:16And I just want to give a huge thank you

- 3:13opportunities like this. And now, let's
- 3:15jump into today's case. Pamela Rogers
- 3:17was born on the 1st of July, 1977,
- 3:21making her a Cancer. And she grew up in
- 3:23a small town called Clark Range in
- 3:25Tennessee, where she lived with her
- 3:27parents and her siblings. Now, Pamela
- 3:29lived what could be said as a typical
- 3:32small town childhood. She attended the
- 3:34local school. She had a lot of friends.
- 3:36She was also very athletic. She loved
- 3:39basketball, and basketball actually kind
- 3:41of ran in the family because her dad,
- 3:43Lamar, was actually the basketball coach
- 3:46for the high school girls basketball
- 3:48team, and the girls basketball team was
- 3:50actually a pretty big thing in this
- 3:51small community. And Lamar had been
- 3:54coaching the team for 29 years, so he
- 3:56was pretty well-known. He even won state
- 3:59championships. And when Pamela started
- 4:01attending high school, she actually
- 4:02started playing basketball, and her dad
- 4:04was her coach. And the team had a lot of
- 4:07success when Pamela was playing on the
- 4:09team. So, Pamela, she's not only good at
- 4:12athletics, she's also extremely popular.
- 4:15She was one of the so-called it girls.
- 4:18She was athletic. She was seen as
- 4:20good-looking. Everyone wanted to either
- 4:23be her or be friends with her. And when
- 4:25it came to her senior prom in 1995,
- 4:29Pamela was picked as prom queen. And to
- 4:32the outside world, and probably to
- 4:33herself, she was living the perfect
- 4:36life. So, after graduating high school,
- 4:38Pamela then needed to decide like what
- 4:41was she going to do with her life? I
- 4:42mean, obviously, she was very athletic.
- 4:44Was she going to do something there?
- 4:46Well, she actually decided that she
- 4:47wanted to start modeling. And she did
- 4:50this for a few years. She started off in
- 4:52bikini modeling. She actually worked for
- 4:55pretty big brands. Like she did a
- 4:56campaign with Harley-Davidson, where she
- 4:59was posing on one of the motorbikes in
- 5:01her bikini. And she just did various
- 5:03other bikini photo shoots. And then in
- 5:061997, Pamela is currently 20 years old.
- 5:09This is when she got the biggest
- 5:11modeling job that she had gotten so far.
- 5:14And that is because in 1997, Pamela was
- 5:16crowned Miss Nitro. And this is not
- 5:19something I am an expert on, okay? So, I
- 5:22may be wrong here, but from what I could
- 5:23find out online, these Nitro Girls, cuz
- 5:27I think there's multiple, they are the
- 5:29women, like the models that appear at
- 5:32wrestling events, and they would either
- 5:34be dancing or modeling. We are amongst
- 5:37the Nitro Girls, and we're having a
- 5:39great time. I'm not 100% sure, but it's
- 5:42basically in the wrestling world, and
- 5:44you can see clips online of Pamela doing
- 5:47this. She's wearing a red bikini, and
- 5:50she has a ribbon around her that says
- 5:52Miss Nitro. And then she's called into
- 5:54the ring, and she's essentially And
- 5:56during the '90s, these wrestling gigs
- 5:59were huge. Millions of people tuned in
- 6:02to watch, so there would have been a lot
- 6:05of eyes on Pamela. And because of this,
- 6:07Pamela started to get more well-known.
- 6:10She started to make a little bit of a
- 6:11name for herself. I mean, she had a lot
- 6:13of eyes on her. And this resulted in her
- 6:15getting more and more modeling gigs. And
- 6:17she is very, very busy for the next 5
- 6:21years. But by the time Pamela gets
- 6:23[clears throat] to the age of 25, the
- 6:25work kind of dries up. She's not really
- 6:27getting that much work anymore, and she
- 6:29just feels like, "Yeah, this modeling
- 6:31thing, it's not for me anymore. Like
- 6:34I've had my go at it. I've been
- 6:35successful." She now wanted a change in
- 6:38her life. And unfortunately, these
- 6:40changes in her life would lead to the
- 6:42very disturbing events of today's case.
- 6:45So, we now get to 2003.
- 6:48Pamela is currently 26 years old, and
- 6:51she gets married. She gets married to a
- 6:53man named Christopher Turner, who just
- 6:55so happened to be a high school
- 6:57basketball coach, just like her dad. So,
- 6:59they definitely had things in common.
- 7:01Basketball was very important to both of
- 7:02them. And because they had similar
- 7:04interests, similar backgrounds, at
- 7:06first, the marriage was really great.
- 7:08And whilst Pamela is married, this is
- 7:10when she did decide to have a career
- 7:12change from modeling into, you guessed
- 7:16it, teaching. She probably got into
- 7:17teaching because her husband was a
- 7:20teacher, and it just kind of felt like
- 7:22the natural path for her to go down. So,
- 7:24she first gets a job at a school called
- 7:27Centertown Elementary in Tennessee. And
- 7:30yes, you heard that right, an elementary
- 7:33school. Now, I don't know much about the
- 7:35US school system because it's set up
- 7:38differently than in the UK, but I don't
- 7:40think that this elementary school is
- 7:42your typical elementary school because
- 7:45this elementary school went from
- 7:47kindergarten age all the way up to
- 7:49eighth grade, which is approximately 13
- 7:52to 14 years old. So, it's almost like
- 7:54it's an elementary school and a middle
- 7:57school together. Is that what that would
- 7:59be? But anyway, Pamela gets a job as the
- 8:02physical education teacher, which made
- 8:05sense because she was very athletic.
- 8:07That was her background. She did very
- 8:09well on the school basketball team. Her
- 8:10dad was a basketball coach. Her husband
- 8:12is a basketball coach. She played sports
- 8:14when she was at college as well. And
- 8:16just to kind of round things off, she
- 8:17actually did become the girls basketball
- 8:19coach. So, yeah, she literally is
- 8:21following in her dad's footsteps. And at
- 8:23first, things go well for Pamela. She's
- 8:25able to teach at this elementary school
- 8:28for the first year without any
- 8:30incidents. Um, can we get a round of
- 8:32applause for the predator? Yes, yes,
- 8:34yes. She was a very popular teacher. The
- 8:37students seemed to really love her, and
- 8:39the students seemed to like her because
- 8:41she was young, she was fun. She was just
- 8:44the kind of teacher that the students
- 8:45wanted to be around. She wasn't like a
- 8:48regular teacher, you know? But it
- 8:50doesn't take long for Pamela to get a
- 8:53reputation, especially amongst the older
- 8:55boys that were in the school because
- 8:57Pamela got the label of the hot teacher.
- 9:01And I think all of this went back to the
- 9:03fact that she was a model. The students
- 9:05in her school quickly found out about
- 9:07her modeling background, and because she
- 9:09was pretty successful, there are photos
- 9:11and videos of her online that her
- 9:13students could access. So, this is
- 9:15exactly what the students did. The
- 9:17students found out that she was a Miss
- 9:20Nitro. They were able to access the
- 9:22videos and photos of her in a bikini,
- 9:25which is definitely inappropriate. And
- 9:28And the older boys in the school, so
- 9:30you've got to remember, even though I'm
- 9:31saying older, they're still only 13 and
- 9:3314, they would start making comments
- 9:36about Pamela, or should I say, Miss
- 9:39Rogers. They would start saying, "Oh,
- 9:41Miss Rogers, you're so hot. You're so
- 9:43attractive. Oh, look at this photo of
- 9:45you in this bikini, blah, blah, blah."
- 9:47And I also read that for a few weeks,
- 9:49Pamela Rogers was actually the sex
- 9:51education teacher, which for a predator,
- 9:54mhm, no. And when she was teaching sex
- 9:57education, there were quite a few
- 9:59inappropriate comments said to her. But
- 10:01did she shut any of these comments down?
- 10:03I mean, she's the sex education teacher.
- 10:05Something that she should be teaching
- 10:07young boys and young girls is to respect
- 10:10other people, to respect their
- 10:12boundaries, to not say sexually
- 10:15inappropriate things to somebody else.
- 10:18That is what she should be teaching. So,
- 10:19that would have been perfect for her to
- 10:21actually use that and say, "Hold on,
- 10:23this is not right. You shouldn't speak
- 10:25to others like this." But she didn't use
- 10:27it as a lesson. She actually welcomed
- 10:29the comments. And it blows my mind. It's
- 10:32like, what message is that sending those
- 10:34students? She actually enjoyed the
- 10:36attention of the younger male students,
- 10:39which is just disgusting. It's like, why
- 10:42are you thriving on comments being made
- 10:44to you by children? Like, you're a
- 10:46grown-ass woman. Like, you're an adult.
- 10:50Why do you want the attention of young
- 10:52boys? There is just something wrong in
- 10:55her head. And things just start to get
- 10:57even more inappropriate from this moment
- 10:59on. Cuz we now get to 2004,
- 11:02just over a year into Pamela's marriage,
- 11:06and about a year into her teaching job.
- 11:08Well, this is where things start to go
- 11:09very wrong in Pamela's home life.
- 11:12Because she is no longer getting along
- 11:14with her husband. They're just always
- 11:15arguing and fighting. They stop spending
- 11:18time together. They stop really talking.
- 11:20And their sex life basically becomes
- 11:22nonexistent. And one thing that would
- 11:24actually come out later in the case is
- 11:26that Pamela is actually a sex addict.
- 11:29And she was no longer getting sex from
- 11:30her husband, and she was really
- 11:32struggling with this, which is no
- 11:34excuse. No excuse whatsoever. But in
- 11:37Pamela's mind, she was like, "Oh, well,
- 11:39I'm not getting sex from my husband, so
- 11:40I need to get it from somewhere else."
- 11:42And I'm like, "Well, that's okay. Get
- 11:44sex wherever you want, but just not from
- 11:46children. Just go and get sex from
- 11:47another consenting adult. Is it really
- 11:49that hard? Why do you have to go for
- 11:51children? Like, why?" Because Pamela,
- 11:53she's feeling really sorry for herself.
- 11:54Her marriage is breaking down. And she
- 11:56wants attention from other people, i.e.,
- 12:00teenage boys. So, this is when Pamela
- 12:02starts to encourage more than ever the
- 12:05inappropriate behavior and comments from
- 12:07the teenage boys to herself. She was
- 12:09lapping it all up. She started being
- 12:11really flirtatious with these boys. She
- 12:13started wearing more and more revealing
- 12:15clothing to work. And she's just loving
- 12:17all of the attention that she is
- 12:19getting. And she starts to get a lot of
- 12:21attention from one boy in particular.
- 12:24Now, his identity has been protected, so
- 12:27we will just call him boy A. And boy A
- 12:29is very significant to the rest of
- 12:31today's case. So, boy A was just 13
- 12:36years old. Yeah, 13. Crazy. He's a
- 12:39child. And he was currently in eighth
- 12:42grade, and he was on the basketball
- 12:44team. So, I assume that that is how
- 12:47himself and Ms. Rogers knew each other.
- 12:50Boy A was also reportedly very tall for
- 12:55his age, very mature for his age. And
- 12:58apparently, he went through puberty
- 13:00earlier than his peers. Like, that makes
- 13:02a difference. He's still 13. The
- 13:05reporting on this case that we are
- 13:07covering today was absolutely
- 13:08disgusting. It's like, why does that
- 13:11matter? I don't care how tall he is.
- 13:14He's 13. That is all the information
- 13:16that we need to know. That is all the
- 13:18information that Pamela needed to know
- 13:19to know that he is off-limits. So,
- 13:22Pamela and boy A, they start to get
- 13:25closer. This 27-year-old
- 13:27woman starts flirting with a 13-year-old
- 13:30child. And boy A, he starts flirting
- 13:34back. He started saying pretty
- 13:36inappropriate sexualized comments
- 13:38towards his teacher. And Pamela, she
- 13:40didn't shut them down. No, no, no. She
- 13:42loved it. She was lapping it up. Boy A
- 13:45started to say that he wanted to meet up
- 13:48with Ms. Rogers after school. He also
- 13:50said that he should come over and visit
- 13:52her at her home, where they could do
- 13:55very inappropriate things. And I just
- 13:58don't even know why an adult would even
- 14:01entertain any of this. I just don't
- 14:03understand. In fact, during one physical
- 14:06education lesson, Pamela's home key was
- 14:09on her keychain, and it was just hanging
- 14:12up in the locker room. And boy A took
- 14:15her home key off of her keychain and
- 14:18said that he was going to make a copy of
- 14:20the key so he could let himself into her
- 14:22home, which is obviously very
- 14:24inappropriate for a student to do. But
- 14:27Pamela, she didn't seem to have a
- 14:28problem with this. I know, of course she
- 14:30didn't. This is exactly what she wanted.
- 14:32And I just want to stress here that I am
- 14:34not blaming boy A for any of this. He's
- 14:37a child. I mean, obviously what he is
- 14:39doing is not appropriate, but again,
- 14:41he's a child. And it doesn't matter what
- 14:44he does, he's a child. Pamela is the
- 14:46adult. She should be shutting it down.
- 14:48She should not be encouraging this
- 14:50behavior. And I don't know if he
- 14:52actually did make a copy of her house
- 14:53key, but I wouldn't be surprised. And
- 14:55Pamela never reported it. She never
- 14:57stopped him. So, now we get to November
- 14:59of 2004, and this is when things really
- 15:02start to change and move very quickly.
- 15:05Because at this point, Pamela's home
- 15:07life was completely falling apart. Her
- 15:09husband had told her that he was filing
- 15:11for divorce. There were accusations of
- 15:13cheating, gambling, and drugs in the
- 15:15marriage. And we don't know who was
- 15:18accusing who of that. But if I'm going
- 15:20to take a wild guess, I'm just going to
- 15:23guess here that it was Pamela's husband
- 15:26that was accusing Pamela of all of those
- 15:27things. And she probably was doing those
- 15:29things. But anyway, so Christopher,
- 15:32Pamela's husband, ended up kicking
- 15:34Pamela out of their shared home. So,
- 15:36Pamela needed somewhere to stay. And I
- 15:40really cannot believe I am about to say
- 15:42this, because in what world does this
- 15:44happen? But Pamela ends up going to live
- 15:47at boy A's home.
- 15:51How?
- 15:52How? How did that end up happening?
- 15:54Well, apparently, Pamela was friends
- 15:56with boy A's mom, which makes all of
- 15:58this 10 times worse, that she was
- 16:01friends with boy A's mom. And she uses
- 16:04her friendship with boy A's mom to
- 16:06further target boy A. So, when Pamela
- 16:09needed somewhere to stay, she got in
- 16:11contact with boy A's mom and asked if
- 16:15she could stay at their home. Now, they
- 16:17were friends. Boy A's mom really liked
- 16:19Pamela. She thought that she was a good
- 16:21teacher. She thought that she was a good
- 16:23basketball coach. And she saw Pamela as
- 16:25a hard-working teacher who had done
- 16:27amazing things for her son's basketball
- 16:29career. And she felt sorry for Pamela
- 16:31that she had nowhere to live. So, boy
- 16:34A's mom opened up her home to a
- 16:36predator, and she didn't even know. So,
- 16:39Pamela is now living with boy A, living
- 16:42under the same roof as the child she is
- 16:45targeting. And of course, she is
- 16:47incredibly inappropriate with boy A in
- 16:50his own home, not in front of boy A's
- 16:52mom, of course. And boy A's mom had no
- 16:55idea that she had opened up her home to
- 16:57a predator who was making inappropriate
- 17:00sexual advances towards her 13-year-old
- 17:02child. And it just makes it so much
- 17:04worse that she has infiltrated boy A's
- 17:06home, where he's supposed to feel safe.
- 17:09And things go on like this. And it's not
- 17:11that difficult to guess, but things get
- 17:14worse. It doesn't take long for things
- 17:16to now reach the next level. Because one
- 17:18day, boy A was sat at home on his
- 17:20computer. This was in 2004, the era
- 17:24before smartphones. Social had only
- 17:27really just started to become popular.
- 17:30Kids used to sit on their computer. They
- 17:32used to dial up to the internet. And
- 17:34they used to log on to things like MSN
- 17:37Messenger to talk to their friends.
- 17:39MySpace was only just becoming a thing.
- 17:41And people's mobile phones didn't have
- 17:43the internet. They didn't have
- 17:45smartphones. They used to just use
- 17:47mobile phones to text one another. And I
- 17:49can still hear the internet dial-up
- 17:51sound right now. I can hear it.
- 17:56So, on this evening, boy A was on his
- 17:58computer. He was hanging out with his
- 18:00friend Justin. And they were chatting to
- 18:02other friends on the internet, probably
- 18:04using MSN. And this is when boy A
- 18:07receives a message from Ms. Rogers. Now,
- 18:10the timeline is not completely clear at
- 18:12this point, because I think Ms. Rogers,
- 18:15Pamela, had moved out of boy A's home at
- 18:17this point, which is why she's
- 18:19contacting him over message and not
- 18:21talking to him in person. But again, I
- 18:23could be wrong. She could just be in
- 18:24another room messaging him on the
- 18:26internet. But anyway, what does the
- 18:28message say that Pamela has sent boy A?
- 18:31The message simply says, "I think you're
- 18:34cute." That was it. And even that alone
- 18:36is inappropriate for a teacher to be
- 18:38sending their student. So, boy A and his
- 18:40friend Justin are just there. They're
- 18:43laughing. They think that this is all
- 18:44funny. I mean, they're children. They're
- 18:46not grasping the gravity of this
- 18:48situation and what Pamela is doing.
- 18:51Because Pamela, let's just put it plain
- 18:53and clear, she is grooming boy A. So,
- 18:55boy A and his friend Justin, they're
- 18:57joking around. They're laughing. They
- 18:58think that the whole thing is funny. And
- 19:00boy A says to his friend, "What should I
- 19:02write back?" And eventually, they decide
- 19:04to write back, "I think you're hot." And
- 19:07the flirtatious messages now continue
- 19:09from here until eventually, Pamela
- 19:12invites boy A around to her apartment,
- 19:14which is why I am assuming that Pamela
- 19:16no longer lives with boy A because she
- 19:18has her own apartment. So, when boy A is
- 19:20at the apartment, this is when Pamela
- 19:22says to boy A that she wants to have sex
- 19:25with him. And boy A was not insinuating
- 19:28at all that this is what he wanted to
- 19:29do. I mean, he's 13. He's a child. It
- 19:32doesn't even matter if he was the one
- 19:34saying this. He's a child, and it
- 19:35doesn't matter. But boy A, he thought
- 19:37that he was just having some fun, just
- 19:40flirting with a teacher. He had never
- 19:42had sex. I mean, he's only 13. He was
- 19:44completely inexperienced in sexual
- 19:46relationships and the dynamics involved.
- 19:49And Pamela is completely taking
- 19:50advantage of him. And it has been
- 19:52reported that boy A was apparently
- 19:54excited about the prospect of having sex
- 19:57with Pamela, but like I've already said,
- 19:59it doesn't matter. He's only 13. He's a
- 20:02minor. He cannot give consent to this.
- 20:04And you've also got to realize that he
- 20:06has been groomed into believing this,
- 20:09into believing that this is okay, that
- 20:11this is normal and healthy, which it
- 20:13categorically is not. However, Pamela
- 20:16goes ahead with her plan anyway. She
- 20:18lures this 13-year-old boy over to her
- 20:21apartment, where she rapes him for the
- 20:23first time. And I say rape because it
- 20:25doesn't even matter if it was consensual
- 20:27because boy A is 13, a minor, a child.
- 20:31He can't consent. But things don't stop
- 20:33there, because from that moment on,
- 20:35Pamela sexually assaulted boy A on
- 20:38multiple occasions. She continues to
- 20:41invite him over to her apartment. And
- 20:43according to legal documents, all sorts
- 20:45of sexual acts occurred when they were
- 20:47in her apartment, such as penetration
- 20:50with fingers, oral sex, and vaginal
- 20:52penetration. But the sex didn't only
- 20:54occur in Pamela's apartment. No, it
- 20:57happened in multiple locations. Pamela
- 20:59also assaulted boy A in her car after
- 21:02school. She also raped boy A on school
- 21:06property. And I just don't know how she
- 21:08was so bold to do that. And she's not
- 21:10the first predator that has been a
- 21:11school teacher to do that. And I just
- 21:12don't understand. How are they so bold
- 21:15to sexually assault children on school
- 21:16property where anybody could walk in and
- 21:19see? So, according to legal reports,
- 21:20Pamela assaulted boy A in classrooms, in
- 21:23the locker room. She even raped boy A in
- 21:26the large school gym.
- 21:29And again, I'm like, how was she so bold
- 21:31to do that? And she obviously did get
- 21:33away with it, for now anyway. But
- 21:35something else just so sick and twisted
- 21:37is that Pamela came up with different
- 21:39ideas on how she could get access to boy
- 21:42A's home again. So, we already know that
- 21:44Pamela lived there for a short period of
- 21:46time. Well, now Pamela makes up any
- 21:49excuse to stay there again. So, she says
- 21:52to boy A's mom, "Oh, my heating has
- 21:55stopped working in my apartment, or my
- 21:57water has been turned off." And boy A's
- 22:00mom, because she saw Pamela as someone
- 22:02she could trust, she saw her as a
- 22:04friend, and Pamela had already lived
- 22:06there for a short period of time, boy
- 22:08A's mom said, "Oh, don't worry, you can
- 22:10just stay in my home." And boy A's mom
- 22:13would give Pamela the guest bedroom for
- 22:15the evening. And in the middle of the
- 22:17night, Pamela would get up and sexually
- 22:19assault boy A in his own home, when his
- 22:22mom is home. And I just feel so sorry
- 22:26for the mom of boy A because she just
- 22:28thought that she was doing a good deed.
- 22:30She thought that she could trust Pamela.
- 22:32She did not think Pamela was a sexual
- 22:34predator that was preying on her son.
- 22:36And Pamela is just completely abusing
- 22:39that trust, taking advantage of it by
- 22:41trying to get more access to the home,
- 22:43and raping boy A in his own bedroom
- 22:45without his mom knowing, in the same
- 22:47house as his mom. Apparently, boy A also
- 22:50had a girlfriend that was the same age
- 22:53as him at this point, so a fellow
- 22:5513-year-old girl. Boy A actually breaks
- 22:57up with this 13-year-old girl, and this
- 23:0013-year-old girl has no idea why. But
- 23:03boy A broke up with his girlfriend
- 23:05because he thought that he was in a
- 23:07relationship with Miss Pamela Rogers.
- 23:10Pamela and boy A are now spending so
- 23:12much time together outside of school
- 23:14hours. Pamela would apparently, quote,
- 23:17follow him around night and day. And she
- 23:20would call him five to six times every
- 23:23single day. She was so obsessed. She's
- 23:26basically stalking him as well as
- 23:28grooming and assaulting him. They would
- 23:30also be seen hanging out in the town,
- 23:32going for long romantic walks. And
- 23:35again, I'm just like, what the actual
- 23:38hell? Why is she being so out in the
- 23:40open about it? She really does think
- 23:42that she can get away with this? Because
- 23:44I don't know this for sure, but I can
- 23:45guarantee you people saw them together.
- 23:47Miss Rogers would also walk boy A home
- 23:50after school. She would attend all of
- 23:52his basketball games. She would be there
- 23:55in the front row, cheering him on. And
- 23:57it's just like all of this added
- 23:58together, this is just so creepy, so
- 24:01inappropriate. And this is just what
- 24:03she's doing out in the open, let alone
- 24:05what she's doing behind closed doors.
- 24:07But despite all of this creepy,
- 24:09inappropriate behavior, no one raised
- 24:11the red flag. No one reported what Miss
- 24:14Rogers was doing, at least not yet,
- 24:17anyway. So, right now, the relationship
- 24:20continues. There was even a time when
- 24:23boy A's friend, Justin, remember Justin?
- 24:25Well, Justin saw Pamela and boy A
- 24:28together, and he went up to speak to
- 24:30them. And this is when Pamela revealed
- 24:32to Justin that they were in a
- 24:34relationship, that they were having sex.
- 24:37Yeah, Pamela has just revealed that to
- 24:39Justin. She is now essentially bragging
- 24:41to another teenager that she's having
- 24:44sex with another teenager. She told
- 24:46Justin that herself and boy A had
- 24:48recently had sex in the school gym. And
- 24:50it is speculated that Pamela was
- 24:53actually saying all of this to Justin
- 24:55because she actually had her eyes set on
- 24:57Justin as well. Sexually assaulting one
- 24:59child was not enough for her. She had
- 25:02her eyes on the next victim. However,
- 25:04thankfully, she wouldn't be able to do
- 25:06this because things are soon about to
- 25:09catch up to Miss Rogers. And this is
- 25:11thankfully where we get to Pamela's
- 25:13downfall. Because we now get to February
- 25:16of 2005,
- 25:18which is 3 months after Pamela started
- 25:21abusing boy A initially. But obviously,
- 25:23probably went on for a lot longer than
- 25:25that because she was grooming him. And
- 25:26over those 3 months, Pamela had sexually
- 25:29assaulted boy A on a number of
- 25:31occasions, in a number of different
- 25:33locations, in a number of different
- 25:35ways. Well, this is when someone finally
- 25:38decided to report her. And we don't know
- 25:40who reported her. It was an anonymous
- 25:42tip. It may have even been Justin. It
- 25:44may have even been boy A himself. We
- 25:46just don't know. But to be honest, it
- 25:48could have been any number of people
- 25:49because Pamela wasn't exactly her
- 25:52relationship with boy A. But on the 4th
- 25:55of February, Pamela Rogers was arrested.
- 25:58And she was charged with 15 counts of
- 26:00sexual battery by an authority figure,
- 26:02and 13 counts of statutory rape.
- 26:07Wow, 13 times she raped boy A. I just
- 26:10can't believe that she raped him that
- 26:12many times. And there possibly was more
- 26:14rapes than that. Over a 3-month period
- 26:17as well. What she put that boy through.
- 26:19She's absolutely disgusting. So, she was
- 26:21taken into custody, but unfortunately,
- 26:23she was given bail. And this was a
- 26:26massive story. And as usual, because
- 26:29Pamela was seen as attractive, a lot of
- 26:31people paid attention to this story. And
- 26:34this is obviously 2005. Tabloid
- 26:36newspapers and magazines were a big deal
- 26:38back then, and Pamela's picture was
- 26:41splashed all over them. This case
- 26:43actually made national news. Raising her
- 26:46right hand just months after raising a
- 26:48firestorm, 28-year-old Pamela Rogers
- 26:51could barely respond.
- 26:52>> And this next thing makes me so, so
- 26:55angry because people actually debated
- 26:58whether Pamela had done anything wrong.
- 27:02I just like
- 27:04I literally want to scream. People
- 27:06actually thought, "Oh, well, she's an
- 27:08attractive teacher. He's a 13-year-old
- 27:11boy. He was asking to have sex. He
- 27:13wanted it. Oh, he's so lucky. Is this
- 27:16even a crime? I mean, he was
- 27:18consenting." And that makes me want to
- 27:20scream. She is a child sexual predator.
- 27:23It doesn't matter her gender. It doesn't
- 27:25matter what she looks like. And it
- 27:28doesn't matter who her victim is and how
- 27:30old they are. If they are a minor, all
- 27:32that matters is that she is an adult and
- 27:34he is a child. It is that black and
- 27:37white. On top of that, she was also a
- 27:39teacher. She was in a position of power.
- 27:41And she raped a student on multiple
- 27:44occasions. And people are really
- 27:46debating
- 27:48whether she did anything wrong?
- 27:51No. No. No. No. Following the news
- 27:54breaking, boy A was pulled out of
- 27:57school. Clearly, it had affected him.
- 28:00Boy A's mom said that he was
- 28:02traumatized, which of course he would
- 28:04have been, and that he would return to
- 28:06school when he was mentally ready. Boy
- 28:09A's mom also made comments about how
- 28:11betrayed she felt, about how she opened
- 28:14up her home to Pamela, and she betrayed
- 28:16her trust in the most vile way. And
- 28:18Pamela is facing 28 criminal charges.
- 28:22She is told that she could be facing up
- 28:24to 100 years in prison, which is
- 28:27obviously a very heavy sentence, a
- 28:29sentence that she deserves, but that is
- 28:31a long time in prison. And Pamela
- 28:33doesn't want to go to prison for that
- 28:35long. So, she makes a plea deal. And
- 28:37Pamela pleads no contest to four of the
- 28:40counts, which basically means that she
- 28:42doesn't plead guilty, but she accepts
- 28:44that there is enough evidence against
- 28:46her to convict her. She entered her
- 28:48courtroom plea. I can't talk. No
- 28:50contest. No contest, sorry. And the
- 28:52other 24 charges were dropped.
- 28:58And I'm like,
- 29:00why? Like, why? Why were so many
- 29:03dropped? But um
- 29:05that's not the worst thing. No, no, no,
- 29:07because four counts of sexual assault
- 29:10against a minor, that should still give
- 29:11you a very lengthy prison sentence. But
- 29:14not in Pamela's case, no. She was given
- 29:17a prison sentence of nine months.
- 29:21Nine months.
- 29:23Nine months for raping a child on
- 29:26multiple occasions. I just don't even
- 29:30have any words. That is a ridiculously
- 29:33short prison sentence. And then after
- 29:35she served that, she would be on a
- 29:377-year probation. And the terms of her
- 29:40probation was that she had to surrender
- 29:42her teaching certificate, so she could
- 29:45never teach again. She would have to be
- 29:47on the sex offenders register for life,
- 29:50and the probation also prevented her
- 29:52from profiting in any way from this case
- 29:54through book deals or movie deals. And
- 29:56the reason she was given such a light
- 29:58prison sentence and she was able to make
- 30:00a plea deal is because the prosecution
- 30:03didn't think that male jurors would find
- 30:06her guilty because they wouldn't view
- 30:08this very attractive 28-year-old woman
- 30:11as a criminal, as a sexual predator.
- 30:13They thought that male jurors would
- 30:15think that the victim wasn't harmed and
- 30:17that he got lucky.
- 30:21So, Pamela goes to prison for 9 months.
- 30:24And the sheriff of the jail actually
- 30:27described Pamela to a local newspaper as
- 30:30absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful
- 30:33girl.
- 30:35Wow.
- 30:36Wow. And she actually only served 6
- 30:39months in prison before she was let out
- 30:41for good behavior. And on the day that
- 30:44she walked free, she was sent a basket
- 30:47of roses from a male admirer.
- 30:53This is a joke. Her sentence, the way
- 30:55she's being treated and talked about,
- 30:56it's a joke. She's raped a child. Why
- 30:59are we praising her? Why are we sending
- 31:02her flowers? And you would think, after
- 31:04serving
- 31:06even only 6 months in prison after she
- 31:08got caught, you would think that she
- 31:10would have changed her ways. But no,
- 31:13Pamela did not learn a single thing in
- 31:15prison because just days after she's
- 31:18released from prison, Pamela violates
- 31:21her probation already. And how does she
- 31:23do this? Well, she gets in touch with
- 31:26boy I again. Now, she wasn't allowed to
- 31:29use her own cell phone to do this, so
- 31:31she borrowed her own dad's mobile phone
- 31:34to get in contact with boy I as if she
- 31:37thought that she would get away with it.
- 31:38And this is when she starts sending nude
- 31:41selfies of herself to boy I again.
- 31:45I just want to pull my hair out. This is
- 31:47just days after she walked out of
- 31:49prison. And she is still assaulting boy
- 31:52I, trying to lure him back in, still
- 31:54grooming him. She also sends videos of
- 31:57herself performing sex acts on herself.
- 32:00Pamela also creates a MySpace page just
- 32:03so she can contact boy I. And on her
- 32:06MySpace page, she had a ton of photos of
- 32:09herself in bikinis, in underwear. She
- 32:11was sending hundreds of messages to boy
- 32:13I on MySpace even though she's on
- 32:15probation. And in these messages, she's
- 32:17basically begging a 13-year-old boy to
- 32:20stay in a relationship with her. She
- 32:23would say, quote, "Do you still love me?
- 32:25Are you still waiting for me? Or do you
- 32:28want me to move on with my life? I miss
- 32:29you so much. I wish I could talk to
- 32:31you." She even got jealous of boy I
- 32:33speaking to girls his own age. She would
- 32:36say, "I thought you said you got over
- 32:37that girl this past summer. What am I to
- 32:40believe? Am I supposed to wait while
- 32:41you're doing that? No lies." And it is
- 32:44just absolutely insane. She is just
- 32:46living in this sick and twisted world
- 32:50where she thinks that herself and boy I
- 32:53can be together forever. She would also
- 32:55send videos to boy I of her dancing
- 32:58around in just her underwear. And these
- 33:00videos actually did make their way
- 33:02online, and you can still see them
- 33:04online to this very day. And when you
- 33:05know that behind these videos is a grown
- 33:08woman trying to groom a child, it is
- 33:11just sickening. Pamela then also started
- 33:14harassing boy I's family, asking them to
- 33:16allow her to start seeing him again. She
- 33:19started contacting boy I's sister,
- 33:21trying to manipulate herself back into
- 33:24boy I's life. But thankfully, her sick
- 33:28and twisted antics would come to an end.
- 33:31And Pamela was once again arrested for
- 33:34violating her probation. And it's just
- 33:36ridiculous. Violating her parole is an
- 33:39understatement. She was trying to
- 33:41assault the victim again. It's like you
- 33:44should have just sent her to prison for
- 33:46the time that she deserved. So, Pamela
- 33:48ends up back in court. And there is
- 33:50actually a video online where she speaks
- 33:53to the court and
- 33:55it's ridiculous. She's there crying as
- 33:57if she's the victim. She's trying to act
- 34:00all sweet and innocent. She's trying to
- 34:02act like what she did, like it's not
- 34:04really that much of a big deal. I don't
- 34:06I don't know what I was thinking, and
- 34:08it's clear that I wasn't thinking.
- 34:13I was blinded by my emotions,
- 34:17that [snorts] I am ashamed [laughter]
- 34:18that I had.
- 34:20>> [clears throat]
- 34:21>> And it's obvious that
- 34:23that I need help to resolve those
- 34:24issues.
- 34:27I'm so sorry
- 34:29to all the people
- 34:31that I have affected
- 34:33and hurt.
- 34:35>> [snorts]
- 34:36>> I have embarrassed and devastated my
- 34:39family.
- 34:42>> [snorts]
- 34:43>> And I have embarrassed my friends.
- 34:45>> [laughter]
- 34:46>> What I did was wrong.
- 34:49And I am deeply
- 34:51in regret of everything.
- 34:54>> [laughter]
- 34:54>> I'm sorry to everyone.
- 34:56I've lost my career. And And it was more
- 34:59than just a career to me. It was my
- 35:00life. And it was what made me happy. She
- 35:02was also given a psychological
- 35:04evaluation before this sentencing
- 35:07hearing. And it is said that she was
- 35:08suffering from something called magical
- 35:12thinking, which I have never heard of
- 35:13before, but apparently, she was stuck in
- 35:16a childlike state and that her thinking
- 35:18was very immature. It is said that she
- 35:20viewed herself as a child and that she
- 35:23wrote in childish handwriting. She
- 35:25actually kept a prison diary and she
- 35:28wrote boy I's name like repeatedly on
- 35:30this diary with hearts all around his
- 35:33name. She also picked out baby names for
- 35:36their children that they were going to
- 35:38have in the future. She also wrote her
- 35:39name over and over again, Pamela and
- 35:42then boy I's last name as if they had
- 35:44got married. Which, yeah, all of that,
- 35:47everything that she wrote in that diary
- 35:48is very childlike. But that still
- 35:50doesn't excuse what she did. I don't
- 35:53bloody care. She still raped a child
- 35:55multiple times. And her analysis also
- 35:57concluded that Pamela was a sex addict.
- 36:00And again, that still doesn't excuse her
- 36:02behavior. The analysis also concluded
- 36:04that she was possibly suffering from
- 36:06PTSD from an event in her childhood. And
- 36:09there is speculation that maybe she was
- 36:11sexually abused because shockingly,
- 36:14Pamela's brother was also arrested for
- 36:17sexually assaulting a minor. So, yeah,
- 36:20both siblings have gone on to sexually
- 36:22assault children. So then, because
- 36:23Pamela had violated her probation, she
- 36:26was ordered to serve the rest of her
- 36:28sentence, which was 7 years in prison,
- 36:30and she was given two extra years on top
- 36:33of that. So, yeah, she got 9 years in
- 36:36prison for raping a child multiple
- 36:38times. That is still not long enough.
- 36:40So, that was the case of Pamela Rogers.
- 36:42She is now nearly 50 years old. She's
- 36:45obviously served her prison sentence, so
- 36:46she's no longer in prison. And in my
- 36:48opinion, she should still be in prison.
- 36:50But the reporting on today's case was so
- 36:53infuriating, I wanted to scream, pull my
- 36:56hair out. I saw so many excuses being
- 36:58made for her. And it simply boiled down
- 37:01to the fact that she was an attractive
- 37:02young woman. Treating her with such
- 37:04double standards. I mean, she was 27, 28
- 37:07when she was raping a 13-year-old child.
- 37:10What would people say if it was a
- 37:1227-year-old man raping a 13-year-old
- 37:14girl? I think that they would view that
- 37:16very differently. But at the end of the
- 37:17day, Pamela is still a sexual predator.
- 37:20But I saw so many people glorifying what
- 37:22she did. I actually saw comments from
- 37:25grown men saying that they wish that
- 37:27they had a teacher like her and that
- 37:29they wish that that teacher had raped
- 37:33them. That they wish that they were
- 37:34sexually abused by a hot teacher. I just
- 37:37couldn't believe it. Why are there
- 37:39people out there that glorify and
- 37:41romanticize female predators just
- 37:45because of the way they look? It's
- 37:47despicable. Boy I would have been
- 37:49traumatized by what happened to him. How
- 37:52can anyone wish that that happened to
- 37:54them? But boy I is now an adult and
- 37:56obviously, his details have been kept
- 37:58private, so I don't know how he is
- 38:00doing, but I just hope that he is doing
- 38:02well. And I just hope that boy I and his
- 38:04mom, the rest of his family managed to
- 38:06work through this because what happened
- 38:08to boy I should not be celebrated or
- 38:10glorified or romanticized. It was sexual
- 38:14assault, point blank. So, that brings us
- 38:16to the end of today's case. As always,
- 38:18let me know your thoughts, theories, and
- 38:20opinions. And don't forget to leave me
- 38:21your case suggestions in the comments
- 38:23down below because I always want to know
- 38:25what you want to hear next. Thank you
- 38:26again to HelloFresh for sponsoring
- 38:27today's video, and I'll see you all in
- 38:29my next one. Bye.
