- 2:26before I had my [music] first daughter
- 2:28and I'm so so grateful for being in a
- 2:30system that will teach you about
- 2:33structure.
- 2:34When I had my child I had to resign from

- 2:38there are better ways to parents but I
- 2:40just don't know how to go about it.
- 2:41Inner Circle made me understand that you
- 2:43can be a stay-at-home [music] mom. Be
- 2:44there for your kids because I need to
- 2:46maximize my window of opportunity with
- 2:48my kids which I was meant to know in
- 2:50[music] inner circle. Anyway, I got to
- 2:52know about business. I got to know about
- 2:54finance. I got to know about how to
- 2:55manage money in inner seco. I got to
- 2:58know about how to communicate better

- 3:27say that if you are not in the hack
- 3:29flood nia, [music]

- 5:33Hello,
- 5:35welcome to another amazing session.
- 5:42This is the third session of today, day
- 5:45two of our conference start with in your
- 5:49hands. Remember, sit tight with your
- 5:52paper and pen. What stood out for you in
- 5:55the last session? Write it in the
- 5:58comments. Send a link to your friends
- 6:00and family so that they can join and
- 6:03also learn. The last session we coached
- 6:06was such an eye opener. We need to teach
- 6:09our children how to understand money,
- 6:12build well rather than just spending
- 6:14money. Money is the power player of the
- 6:17world. It drives in financial wisdom
- 6:21preserves legacy and encourages
- 6:24generational wealth. Wow, this
- 6:27conference is mindblowing. My name is
- 6:30Dr. Sukabaranu. I am an intentional
- 6:33parent and today I moderating with
- 6:36another beautiful intentional parent,
- 6:39Mrs. Blessing Benedict. Over to you,
- 6:41ma'am.
- 6:43>> Thank you so much, ma. and I'm so
- 6:46excited to be alive and to witness the
- 6:50history that is made in tip. Thank you
- 6:52so much, Coach Wendy. And without
- 6:56wasting much of our time, I'd like us to
- 6:59jump right in into the deal of the day.
- 7:01So, please see, let's roll up the bio of
- 7:04our next speaker.
- 7:12Ewa messier [music] is a certified
- 7:15pediatric nutrition consultant with a

- 7:28the Dietetics of Canada Association. She
- 7:31consults at various hospitals for
- 7:33children of all ages where she treats
- 7:36medical and dietary ailments. She

- 7:45diet based on their diagnosis, physical
- 7:48activity, and age requirements. Her
- 7:51experience ranges from picky eaters to
- 7:54the management of genetics and chronic
- 7:58diseases. She co-founded Nutrition for
- 8:01Kids NG, which is an online platform
- 8:04that educates parents on the importance
- 8:06of proper nutrition, effective feeding
- 8:09techniques, and must-h have skills
- 8:12designed to introduce [music]
- 8:13a child to variety of wholesome meals
- 8:17between the ages of 6 months to 6 years.
- 8:20Through her social media platforms, she
- 8:22educates and shares her personal
- 8:24experiences on how to live in the modern
- 8:28world whilst raising healthy and
- 8:30well-nourished children. [music] One of
- 8:32her many goals is to relieve parents of
- 8:36the stress and guilt of wondering how to
- 8:38feed their children [music] the right
- 8:41way while cultivating a healthy family
- 8:44lifestyle. Please make [music] welcome
- 8:46to the intentional parent conference
- 8:492026.
- 8:52[music]
- 9:02>> Welcome.
- 9:06>> You're welcome.
- 9:10>> You're welcome. M you have the stage
- 9:12now.
- 9:13>> Oh, awesome. Okay, fantastic. So, I just
- 9:16had a quick question before I get
- 9:17started. Do I share my slides or can
- 9:20everyone see my slide deck?
- 9:25Oh, awesome, awesome, awesome.
- 9:28Fantastic. All right. So, it's an
- 9:30absolute pleasure to be here. Um, I've
- 9:33listened to a couple of the sessions and
- 9:35absolutely mindblowing. So much
- 9:38information is being taught here. I hope
- 9:40that you people are learning and I hope
- 9:42that you are not just absorbing
- 9:44information but you're implementing
- 9:45right away. Um 40 speakers is not a
- 9:48joke. There's a lot of dedication, a lot
- 9:51of passion that goes into this for them
- 9:52to have gathered everyone here to be
- 9:54able to educate you on different aspects
- 9:56of understanding the throne that is in
- 9:58your hands. Um today I am not going to
- 10:02waste any time. I like to open up the
- 10:03room for for questions. Um, and so I'm
- 10:06going to go straight into the topic of
- 10:08the day, which is feeding the brain.
- 10:10Now, we've had multiple speakers address
- 10:12nutrition in different facets,
- 10:14especially when it comes to feeding the
- 10:15brain, right? My focus today is going to
- 10:18be on the nutritional strategies for
- 10:19academic excellence in children. I mean,
- 10:22we want our children to be allrounders
- 10:24and academics is not not going to be
- 10:28left out. So, let's get started.
- 10:32Okay, before I get into the meat of the
- 10:35topic of today, I have a quick question
- 10:37for you. How many times have you changed
- 10:40your children's school, hired lesson
- 10:43teachers, or bought another workbook
- 10:46chasing academic excellence for your
- 10:49child. I'm not just talking about maybe
- 10:52just one child, you're still figuring it
- 10:53out. I'm talking about um different
- 10:56phases of your child's life, especially
- 10:57for parents who are on this um who are
- 10:59with me today that have had children in
- 11:02different age brackets, right? I've I
- 11:05work with a lot of children, a lot
- 11:07thousands of them. And academic
- 11:09excellence is always in the back burner
- 11:11because it's not a conversation parents
- 11:13are proud to have it have to have,
- 11:15right? They don't always want to talk
- 11:17about it. They just want to know, okay,
- 11:18how do I get them to eat better? How do
- 11:20I fix this? How do I fix that? But the
- 11:22truth of the matter is this academic
- 11:26excellence, having a child that is
- 11:28excelling in all aspects of studies is
- 11:31one thing parents actually genuinely
- 11:33ashamed to talk about because the last
- 11:35thing they want to hear is that my child
- 11:36is not smart enough or my child is is
- 11:38not doing well in school because
- 11:40majority of the time
- 11:43um
- 11:45majority of the time
- 11:48you you want to ensure that
- 11:52they are doing well in school. If
- 11:54nothing else is working, at least let
- 11:56them be doing well in school, right? And
- 11:58if that one isn't working really, it
- 12:00brings a lot of parents down. I find
- 12:02that majority I find that a lot of the
- 12:04times um parents struggle with the
- 12:07foundation of nutrition. And once you
- 12:10don't get the foundation right, it makes
- 12:13it really, really, really difficult to
- 12:16keep them going for the rest of their
- 12:18lives. And I'm not just talking about
- 12:20like as a child because your child will
- 12:22remain your child even in their 40s,
- 12:23even in their 50s, right? Um, but what
- 12:26happens is when you don't get that
- 12:28foundation right and it's a very small
- 12:29window. That's the unfortunate thing. I
- 12:32feel like when I talk to parents and I
- 12:34emphasize please win well or please feed
- 12:37well or please make sure you are giving
- 12:40them the right things in the early
- 12:41stages. It seems so trivial but it's
- 12:45it's the bedrock. It's the foundation. A
- 12:49man cannot build a foundation on sand
- 12:50and expect the building to continue to
- 12:52stand for years and years. Right? So if
- 12:55you don't get this window, and I'm doing
- 12:57my hand like this so you can see how
- 12:58small it is. 5 years versus 40 years is
- 13:01a big difference. But that's all you
- 13:03get. That is all you get. The brain is
- 13:06done at age five. Everything else after
- 13:09that age is maintainers. I always like
- 13:11to use this phrase that feeding children
- 13:14is for development and growth and
- 13:17feeding for an adult is survival and
- 13:19maintenance. So if you don't get it in
- 13:21the very early stage then there is zero
- 13:23opportunity for survival and maintenance
- 13:25because what are we surviving on? What
- 13:27are you maintaining? Right? It's like
- 13:29driving a car that the tires are weak.
- 13:32No matter how badly you are maintaining
- 13:34that car, no matter how badly you're
- 13:36maintaining those tires, eventually
- 13:38you're going to have to change them. you
- 13:39don't get a second brain. There's only
- 13:42going to be one. And if you don't get
- 13:44the foundation right, you'll be patching
- 13:46leaks for the rest of that child's life.
- 13:49So, I wanted to lay that foundation for
- 13:51us today.
- 13:54So, we've talked about 0 to 5. So, from
- 13:58the moment you conceive to the moment
- 14:01your child gets to age five, that's the
- 14:04window. So, notice how I didn't say from
- 14:06the moment you gave birth. I said from
- 14:08the moment of conception. So this is not
- 14:11even about oh how was mommy's pregnancy
- 14:13or how did mommy carry the baby. No from
- 14:15the moment mom and dad come together to
- 14:17decide that they want to have a child.
- 14:20That is where brain function matters.
- 14:23What dad is eating, what dad wears, what
- 14:26mom is eating, what mom wears, where you
- 14:29live, how you breathe. I remember during
- 14:32a consultation I had a mom who had five
- 14:34children. Um, and all five had different
- 14:38dietary concerns, but the last one was
- 14:41the one she came to see me for. And
- 14:43during the consultation, I kept staring
- 14:46at her. And she had to stop and ask me,
- 14:48"What? Why are you staring at me like
- 14:49that?" I was like, "I want to be like,
- 14:51yo, you've lived in so many countries."
- 14:53[snorts] And she was like, "Yeah, she
- 14:54has." But then I said, "I also don't
- 14:57want to be like you." And I'll tell you
- 14:58why. When you move around a lot and you
- 15:01are not conscious of how you eat, every
- 15:04single time you you are pregnant or
- 15:07every single time you conceive a child,
- 15:09the development of that child is going
- 15:11to be very different. Right? The
- 15:13genetics, their epigenetics, their DNA
- 15:16is completely different and the
- 15:18environment for which you conceive the
- 15:19child and carry that pregnancy do has a
- 15:22major part to play. So it's not just
- 15:25about when you've given birth and start
- 15:27feeding. What you do before you even
- 15:30conceive makes the world of a difference
- 15:32right now. How well their brain grows
- 15:36again dependent on the conception up to
- 15:385 years. How they think what you feed
- 15:41the brain both in food and in materials
- 15:44and in education makes a difference. How
- 15:47they will retain the information that
- 15:50one is another topic for a different
- 15:51day. how they will then take that
- 15:54information that you've provided and
- 15:55allow them to perform is also part of
- 15:59what feeding is. So if you don't get
- 16:02feeding right in the first 5 years, I'm
- 16:06emphasizing this again. If you don't get
- 16:09feeding right in the first 5 years, you
- 16:12are setting your child up for failure.
- 16:15And I don't think that is anything any
- 16:17loving parent, anybody in the tip family
- 16:20wants to do.
- 16:23So, let's talk about the first 10,00.
- 16:26I'm sure you've heard this 110 times
- 16:30over this entire conference, especially
- 16:32from um child development specialists,
- 16:35from nutritionists, from doctors. You've
- 16:36heard it a thousand years over, but I
- 16:38want to shift our conversation to
- 16:40something that I feel we may not always
- 16:42be addressing, which is the CNS and the
- 16:45ENS. So these two are systems in your
- 16:49body that love each other. They can't do
- 16:52without each other. The world didn't
- 16:54start acknowledging their relationship
- 16:56until maybe about 20 years ago or 30
- 16:58years ago, but they cannot do without
- 17:00each other. Now what's the CNS and the
- 17:02ENS? The CNS is the central nervous
- 17:04system and the ENS is the entic nervous
- 17:07system. Entic means your intestines,
- 17:10your digestive system, your intestinal
- 17:12system, right? and the central nervous
- 17:14system means your brain, your spinal
- 17:16cord, and all the nerves that are
- 17:17surrounding your child's body. These two
- 17:20have such a lovely unconditional
- 17:23relationship just like you and a spouse
- 17:25will have or you and your child are
- 17:26expected to have or how God loves us,
- 17:28right? He feeds us and we're able to
- 17:31feed others. That's how the CNS and the
- 17:33ENS work. If for some reason they are
- 17:37not able to communicate effectively with
- 17:39each other, there will be problems. 200
- 17:42to 600 million neurons live in your gut.
- 17:46So, not here and not in your spinal cord
- 17:48and not in the nerves that run
- 17:50throughout your entire body. Literally
- 17:52in the digestive system. 200 to 600.
- 17:55Now, on the on the grand scheme of
- 17:57things, um it doesn't seem like a lot
- 17:59cuz we have over 26 billion neurons
- 18:01running throughout our body. But you
- 18:03know what it is for 200 to 600 of those
- 18:05things to live only in the stomach
- 18:06region.
- 18:08[laughter]
- 18:09Let me paint you a picture. So you are
- 18:12living in a house and you have 10
- 18:14bedrooms in your house. Typically you're
- 18:17only going to sleep in one, right? You
- 18:19have guests. Now if one of those rooms
- 18:22magot enters the whole house is going to
- 18:25be infested. That is what those 200600
- 18:29um million means. I'll repeat that
- 18:32again. If you have 10 rooms in your
- 18:34house and you're only going to live in
- 18:36one of those rooms, you might never even
- 18:38enter some of those rooms for weeks and
- 18:40months. But if Margot enters one of
- 18:43those rooms, the entire house is going
- 18:45to be infested.
- 18:48That is what those 2006 600 million
- 18:50neurons in the gut represent. They
- 18:52represent one room in your 10 room
- 18:55house. And if something goes wrong, if
- 18:57the nutrients are not adequate, if the
- 18:59nutrients are not um um absorbed
- 19:01properly, if the nutrients are not
- 19:04getting to the right areas of that
- 19:05system, the rest of the body is going to
- 19:08suffer. Now, 1 million neurons are made
- 19:12connected and formed every second in the
- 19:15first three years of life. So in those
- 19:17first three years that's where the bulk
- 19:19of the building happens in the nervous
- 19:21system and that's where some of those
- 19:23neurons that form in the gut are also
- 19:25established. Now from conception again
- 19:28to age two that's one of our most
- 19:30critical windows. That's when you hear
- 19:32things like the stubborn um the terrible
- 19:35tools. They are throwing so many
- 19:37tantrums. You're not communicating.
- 19:39That's because probably what you are
- 19:41feeding or what you fed yourself before
- 19:43you had the child is beginning to
- 19:45manifest itself. Um, one of the set of
- 19:48people that I always consult with are
- 19:50parents that have developmental delays
- 19:52or parents with children with
- 19:53developmental delays. And one of the
- 19:55things I always emphasize on is when
- 19:57there's a fear of a particular focus on
- 20:01something being the cause of why that
- 20:03child has a developmental delay. And
- 20:05something I always say to them is that's
- 20:08not realistic because if a bucket was
- 20:10broken in the beginning and you keep
- 20:12filling it with water, it's not the last
- 20:14drop that will break the bucket. The
- 20:16bucket was not strong to begin with. And
- 20:18that's how this idea of not getting the
- 20:21most critical window to be effective
- 20:23happens because the bucket was not
- 20:26strong from the moment you pushed out.
- 20:28So why are we assuming that one drop is
- 20:32going to be what breaks the bucket?
- 20:34Bucket didn't have the capacity. Let's
- 20:36build children that have capacity. The
- 20:39world is not a safe place anymore. If
- 20:43you don't feed your children, right?
- 20:45They are parasympathetic
- 20:46nervous system, right? Which is the
- 20:48nervous system that tells them to calm
- 20:51down, think through, reason, have
- 20:53critical thinking will not function
- 20:55effectively. They won't be able to make
- 20:57decisions. Some of the things you're
- 20:58learning in tape will not be able to
- 21:00register in their brains. You will keep
- 21:02repeating it a hundred times. even if
- 21:03that child is a 100 years. So please
- 21:07please take that 0 to2 years 0 to 5
- 21:10years very seriously. I'm a mom of two
- 21:14and I made a lot of sacrifices in the
- 21:18initial stages of my children's lives.
- 21:20My I've been a parent for a decade now
- 21:23and in the very first couple of years it
- 21:26looked like I was doing too much. Even
- 21:28at the time my husband would say you
- 21:31it's okay it's okay. So I don't know why
- 21:33you are complaining about this and but I
- 21:34knew what I was looking for and today
- 21:37I'm reaping the benefits of those
- 21:39sacrifices I made in the early on
- 21:40stages. When I meet other parents with
- 21:42children who are similar to my my my
- 21:45children's ages, there's always a clear
- 21:47difference. even for for one of my
- 21:49children that had um um eczema and so
- 21:52many other things. I know the sacrifices
- 21:54I had to make and the changes that I had
- 21:56to subject her to that even now she is
- 21:59even now making some more conscious
- 22:01decisions for herself and for her own
- 22:02body that I know as she gets older will
- 22:05continue to live with her right again
- 22:08take those first five years it's not
- 22:10don't just see it as oh this is a baby
- 22:12they will still learn no take those five
- 22:14years seriously it's a critical window
- 22:16right
- 22:18now let's look at statistics and reality
- 22:21because it's one thing to say take it
- 22:23seriously. Let's see what happens when
- 22:25we don't take it seriously. So these
- 22:27statistics are what are presented and
- 22:29recorded on a regular basis by UNICEF.
- 22:31So I wanted to emphasize that this is
- 22:33not just health health statistics. These
- 22:36are education statistics, right? Um 32%
- 22:40of children under the age of five are
- 22:43stunted. What does that mean? It means
- 22:46that even though they are eating the
- 22:47food is not really doing anything. You
- 22:49know it's one thing to eat. It's another
- 22:51thing to absorb. is another thing to
- 22:53digest. Three different things are
- 22:55occurring in the body, right? And 32% of
- 22:58children are not able to do digestion
- 23:01and absorption the way that the body is
- 23:03designed, the way that it's supposed to
- 23:05do it effectively. What does that look
- 23:08like realistically in a class of 100
- 23:10children in a class of 100 children,
- 23:14right? 30% of them, 30 children in that
- 23:18class are going to be stunted under the
- 23:21age of five. Now, for those that live
- 23:23abroad, that's before kindergarten. For
- 23:26those that are in Nigeria, that's that's
- 23:28about primary one. So, before primary
- 23:30one, 30 children out of a 100 children
- 23:32that are going to school are not
- 23:34absorbing nutrients and digesting those
- 23:36nutrients. One of those 30 children
- 23:38could be yours. 17% exclusive
- 23:42breastfeeding rate in Nigeria.
- 23:44I don't even know whether to be angry or
- 23:46to be surprised because it's such a
- 23:48horribly poor number, right? Even for a
- 23:51country where I've listened to horrible
- 23:54experiences of moms in hospitals with
- 23:56breastfeeding, experiences where they
- 23:57they were forced to breastfeed or things
- 23:59happened. It's such a low and horrible
- 24:02number. We need to do better. There
- 24:04needs to be better advocacy for
- 24:06breastfeeding. There needs to be better
- 24:08support for breastfeeding. There needs
- 24:10to be you need to be your brother's
- 24:12keeper, your sister's keeper when it
- 24:13comes to breastfeeding. And don't just
- 24:15say things like, "Oh, um, breastfeed
- 24:18your child." Right? Don't just say
- 24:20things like that. Um, I need you to say
- 24:23things like, "How can I help you
- 24:25breastfeed better?" "What can I give you
- 24:27to help your child breastfeed better?"
- 24:29"What are the foods that I can give you
- 24:31that will help your child breastfeed
- 24:33better? How can I support you to
- 24:35breastfeed better?" Those are the kind
- 24:36of things that we need to do in terms of
- 24:38advocacy. 80% of children between 6 to
- 24:4123 months get minimum diet.
- 24:44You parents spend money
- 24:48money on clothes, on shoes, on the best
- 24:52imported everything on the best imported
- 24:57um I don't even know the best imported
- 25:00everything.
- 25:02Some of you travel and you have a
- 25:05truckload of things that you came back
- 25:06with. I've sat in in consultation rooms
- 25:09and sometimes I'll ask parents to bring
- 25:11what they are feeding their children.
- 25:13Now when I say that, when I make that
- 25:15statement, I want them to bring me a
- 25:17piece of paper, you know, because
- 25:19sometimes you might not be able to bring
- 25:20the jelloof fries you cooked or the yam
- 25:21porridge you cooked or the potato
- 25:23porridge you cooked. No, sometimes
- 25:25people will walk into my office with
- 25:28shelves and cartoons.
- 25:31And I want to share a little bit of um
- 25:34information with you. Some of you may
- 25:36know this, some of you might not know
- 25:37this. Um in order for somebody to
- 25:40package something especially um in
- 25:43developing countries
- 25:45um they to reduce preservation they dry
- 25:49and they have to fortify. They overly
- 25:52process and then refortify so that the
- 25:55things that they took out they can add
- 25:57back. When you eat five things that have
- 26:00been fortified, it's a calculated
- 26:03measurement, right? And when something
- 26:06is a calculated measurement, the body
- 26:08can only take so much of it or take
- 26:10excess of it. When we eat naturally,
- 26:13when you eat raw
- 26:17natural, you know, things that come out
- 26:19of the ground more often, the body
- 26:21understands it a bit better and knows
- 26:23how to decipher what goes where. But
- 26:26when everything is constantly packaged,
- 26:28and packaging doesn't necessarily mean
- 26:30biscuit and and cookies and chocolate.
- 26:32No, packaging can be that cereal that
- 26:35you are so proud about. Packaging can be
- 26:38that product you bought from a
- 26:40well-known influencers page that you are
- 26:42so proud about, right? And it will
- 26:46subject your child to a calculated
- 26:49measure of nutrients. And when it is a
- 26:52calculated measure of nutrients, the
- 26:54risk of oversupplementation,
- 26:56not by supplements. Now notice I'm not
- 26:58talking about supplements. over
- 27:00supplementation from the food that they
- 27:02are eating will cause problems for you.
- 27:04I've run lab work for children and their
- 27:06potassium levels are screaming through
- 27:07the roof and nothing is wrong with their
- 27:09kidneys. Yet I've run labs for children
- 27:13and their iron level levels are in the
- 27:15gutter. Meanwhile, everything you are
- 27:17eating is 45 this,
- 27:19extra DHA, extra vitamin C, extra this,
- 27:22extra that. You need to be careful when
- 27:25it comes to buying packaged things as
- 27:27much as possible. If it is convenience
- 27:29you're looking for, right? Try and buy
- 27:32convenience that require a little bit of
- 27:34work, maybe a bag of flour, oats flour,
- 27:38millet flour that is still processing,
- 27:40but at least you still do a little bit
- 27:42of work to get it to where it needs to
- 27:43go. At least some of those nutrients are
- 27:45still preserved, right? Because that's
- 27:47why so many children are not like I will
- 27:49see parents well to do taking care of
- 27:52their CHILDREN WELL-DRESSED AND I'M like
- 27:56what's going on here? There's no
- 27:58difference between you and a
- 28:00malnourished child in the north. Really?
- 28:03There's no difference. The only
- 28:05difference is that you have more money.
- 28:07But we're not using the money
- 28:08accurately. Knowledge is more powerful
- 28:12than any kind of money that you can ever
- 28:14have. If you want to spend your money on
- 28:16something, spend it on knowledge. I've
- 28:18saved parents thousands of dollars just
- 28:21by sitting on a 30inut conversation
- 28:24versus them taking that 1,000 and going
- 28:26into a supermarket.
- 28:2845% of children's of of child deaths are
- 28:32linked to malnutrition. Now, you see why
- 28:34I started off by talking about the
- 28:36minimal diet, the packaging and all that
- 28:38because a lot of the times when you
- 28:39overs supplement, we're talking about a
- 28:41developing system, right? Especially for
- 28:43children between the ages of 0 to 5.
- 28:45It's a developing system. So it's still
- 28:47trying to figure out what it needs to
- 28:48do, how it needs to function, what it
- 28:49needs to understand. How far am I
- 28:52growing here? How long should I grow?
- 28:53How short should I grow? Okay, which
- 28:55gene should I turn on? Should I turn the
- 28:57body is still trying to there's is it's
- 29:00like you taking a box of popcorn,
- 29:02putting it in the microwave, and it's
- 29:03popping. That's how your child's body is
- 29:04in the first 0 to 5 years. He's popping
- 29:06popcorn just pop. Doesn't know what he
- 29:09needs to do. And if you keep feeding it
- 29:11the wrong thing, if you keep feeding it
- 29:15the wrong thing, what will eventually
- 29:18happen
- 29:20is that you will end up with bonds
- 29:23popcorn instead of normal popcorn inside
- 29:26the child that you are developing. And
- 29:28we all know that once you popcorn, you
- 29:30can't repop it. It's done. Right? I'm
- 29:34using this simple analogy so that it
- 29:36enters our brain today.
- 29:41Now, let's talk about how an unhealthy
- 29:44gut harms learning, right? Because we're
- 29:46talking about academic excellence. The
- 29:48first, now what I've done is I've paired
- 29:51neurotransmitters,
- 29:53which are
- 29:55hormones or molecules in the body that
- 29:59drive certain actions. So, the way the
- 30:02human body works is this. You eat yum.
- 30:06Okay? Now the body takes that yam and
- 30:10divides it and says out of this what do
- 30:13I need right now? What am I lacking at
- 30:15this moment? And then it takes carbs
- 30:19which is in the form of glucose. It's
- 30:21going to take some fiber if you boiled
- 30:23your yam with the back. It's going to
- 30:25take some B vitamins if you boiled your
- 30:27yam with the back. It's going to take
- 30:30some um prebiotic fiber. It's going to
- 30:33take some inulin. you know, take all
- 30:35those little things and then pass it
- 30:38into your hormonal system, pass it
- 30:41through the entic nervous system, send
- 30:43it on its way and say, "Take these
- 30:45blocks of information and build what you
- 30:48need." And that's why we have
- 30:49neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters are
- 30:52building blocks from nutrients,
- 30:54primarily protein, but building blocks
- 30:56of other nutrients. So, that's why I've
- 30:57paired things together. [snorts] Ion
- 31:00helps to create dopamine. What is
- 31:02dopamine? Now, dopamine is primarily
- 31:05made in your brain which is the central
- 31:07nervous system. Dopamine is your focus
- 31:09chemical. If you want to focus,
- 31:13just focus on something like focus on my
- 31:15face, focus on the conversation we're
- 31:17having, your dopamine levels are going
- 31:19to be depleted quite rapidly. And if you
- 31:22don't have something to help build it
- 31:24up, then your focus will be like this.
- 31:27That's why children who have ADHD, their
- 31:29dopamine levels when we test them are
- 31:30low. That's why even right now in the
- 31:32world because of our doom scrolling,
- 31:34spending so much time on the internet,
- 31:36not reading enough, not going outside,
- 31:37our dopamine dopamine levels are really
- 31:39low. That's why so many people are more
- 31:42depressed. That's why so many people are
- 31:44sad. That's why so many people feel
- 31:46like, "Oh, I'm better alone." That's why
- 31:48so many people you have a conversation
- 31:50with them, their brain is spacking. They
- 31:52get upset so easily. Dopamine levels
- 31:54alone. Same thing happens with children.
- 31:57>> [snorts]
- 31:57>> Now, if you don't have enough iron to
- 31:59fuel dopamine, it makes their brain just
- 32:02travel to I don't know where when you
- 32:05should be focusing on something. And I
- 32:07see this happening more and more with a
- 32:09lot of children after the age of seven.
- 32:11Now, I'm not part of the tip community.
- 32:13I'd love I I think after today, I should
- 32:15probably join you guys. Um, one of the
- 32:18things I see regularly apart from screen
- 32:21time is people can't children can't
- 32:24focus on one thing.
- 32:26Yeah, they can't focus on one thing.
- 32:29They're not able to sit and focus on one
- 32:31particular topic or one particular
- 32:33conversation. You can't get them to hold
- 32:35a conversation with you. I want to know
- 32:38how many people here are able to hold a
- 32:40conversation with their children for one
- 32:41hour. Like you just sit with them. You
- 32:43read with them. They And I'm not even
- 32:45talking about older children. Now I'm
- 32:48talking about young children, two year
- 32:50olds, three year olds, right? I've lived
- 32:52in three countries and in all the three
- 32:54countries I've lived in, I find that a
- 32:56lot of children are consistently
- 32:58disregulated. They can't focus. You
- 33:00can't hold a child that is at the age of
- 33:03two for 30 minutes. You can't hold their
- 33:05attention. They can't do a puzzle for 30
- 33:07minutes. They lose focus. They get
- 33:09angry. They get agitated. You need to
- 33:12check their iron levels.
- 33:14Now, sources of iron. I've listed them
- 33:16out for you. So we have liver, red meat,
- 33:18fish, beans, ugu, kale, spinach, you
- 33:21know the works. Now DHA and serotonin,
- 33:24that's another beautiful combination.
- 33:26Serotonin, 90% of it is created in your
- 33:29entic nervous system. You see why I said
- 33:32they are best friends, the CNS and ENS.
- 33:35The ENS makes 90% of serotonin through
- 33:38beneficial bacteria, which we all know
- 33:40as probiotics. Now, the brain is 60% fat
- 33:43and uses 90% of the glucose that your
- 33:46body produces or or the body receives.
- 33:48And the gut makes 90% of your serotonin,
- 33:51and it needs DHA to do that. So, we're
- 33:54no longer just talking about, oh, take
- 33:55DHA because good fats are good for your
- 33:58brain. Take DHA because you need it to
- 34:00to feed the healthy bacteria and you
- 34:03need it
- 34:05you need it to be able to do to be able
- 34:08to build serotonin, right?
- 34:11If it it literally helps it to travel
- 34:13along that those different synapses
- 34:16along the neurons that are moving from
- 34:18place to place. It helps it to be able
- 34:20to do that effectively. If it's low,
- 34:23expect your child to just be screaming
- 34:25unnecessarily, shouting unnecessarily,
- 34:28banging the walls, having a full-on
- 34:31tantrum, not being able to sit down and
- 34:33and regulate themselves. Right? children
- 34:36are are going to cry because they're
- 34:38still trying to understand life and and
- 34:40that's okay. But where the child cannot
- 34:44regulate like after crying for 30
- 34:46minutes, they're still hyperventilating,
- 34:47they're still angry, they're still
- 34:48upset, they're still throwing a tantrum,
- 34:50something's going on with the amount of
- 34:52serotonin their body is producing, and
- 34:54that's primarily because their gut
- 34:55health is not good.
- 34:58Choline and acetylcholine.
- 35:01Now, choline builds the brain's memory
- 35:04glue. What does that mean? It means that
- 35:07when I receive information, it sticks. I
- 35:11always have a running joke with my
- 35:13husband where I say, "You can't have an
- 35:15argument with me and win." And the
- 35:17reason is because I remember where you
- 35:18were standing when I told you what you
- 35:20said and where you were sitting. And I
- 35:22have a very photographic memory. So, I
- 35:23may not be able to remember all the
- 35:25words on the line, but I can I can see
- 35:27where that image was or where those
- 35:29words were on a book and I can pick it
- 35:31up. And that's something I'm teaching my
- 35:33children. I don't need you to memorize.
- 35:35I don't need you to cram. I need you to
- 35:37have visualization. And that requires
- 35:40memory. Because if I can remember the
- 35:42position something was in, then I can
- 35:45remember how it might have been phrased,
- 35:47right? That's what builds academic
- 35:50excellence. Because in the world we live
- 35:52in today, nobody cares if you can read
- 35:55700 pages and spit it out. People want
- 35:58to know, can you connect the dots in
- 36:00those 700 pages? People want to know,
- 36:03can your children take blocks and pieces
- 36:05on a moving screen and build something
- 36:07fantastic? When my children were growing
- 36:09up, one of the the biggest things I did
- 36:11was Legos because it it helps with math.
- 36:16It helps with building. It helps with
- 36:18structural memory and it helps with that
- 36:20memory and focus. Because in order to
- 36:22fit pieces together, no matter how small
- 36:25they are, it requires focus, right? It
- 36:28requires building memory. and choline
- 36:30and acetylcholine are important for
- 36:33that. They go hand in hand. Imagine
- 36:37telling a child something today and then
- 36:39tomorrow you need to remind them 100
- 36:40times, right? It's probably because they
- 36:42are not focusing the way they should.
- 36:44Now, I'm not saying that children will
- 36:46not lose focus. They are children,
- 36:47right? But it's so so so important that
- 36:51choline and acetyloline are present. And
- 36:53the two major sources of it are eggs and
- 36:56animal source foods. Animal source food
- 36:58still comes back to liver, meat, fish.
- 37:02Right now, I know a lot of us loves love
- 37:06eggs and we love to feed our children
- 37:08eggs and that's great, but your child
- 37:10doesn't need to eat three eggs a day
- 37:11because eggs are not a source of iron.
- 37:14So, you can be getting all the choline
- 37:16you like and not getting enough iron.
- 37:18And iron is also what supports oxygen to
- 37:20the brain. Imagine starving the brain of
- 37:22oxygen where you can't breathe
- 37:23effectively, but you're always giving
- 37:25eggs. very important to have diversity
- 37:27in a diet. [snorts] Tryptophan and
- 37:30melatonin. Melatonin locks the day's
- 37:32lessons overnight. Melatonin is also
- 37:36what helps a child knock out fall
- 37:39asleep. It doesn't help you stay asleep.
- 37:41You need a different nutrient for that,
- 37:43but it helps you fall asleep.
- 37:46It helps you fall asleep. A child that
- 37:49cannot fall asleep. Like you have a
- 37:51child lie down and then 10 15 minutes
- 37:53later they haven't been able to fall
- 37:55asleep. 30 minutes later they haven't
- 37:56been able to fall asleep. What are they
- 37:58thinking? What is your 5-year-old
- 38:00thinking? What is your 10year-old
- 38:02thinking? Why is your 10-year-old having
- 38:05anxious thoughts? Shouldn't those
- 38:06thoughts be conversations you're having
- 38:07with them? Why are they under pressure
- 38:09to remember what was taught in class? It
- 38:11should just stick into their brain. And
- 38:13that's what tryptophan and melatonin do
- 38:16for you. They help that thing to stay in
- 38:18the head so that when they fall asleep
- 38:19and they wake up the next morning, they
- 38:22can spit it out again. Right?
- 38:25Sources of food will be turkey, eggs,
- 38:28pumpkin seeds, oats. Pumpkin seeds can
- 38:30be a goosey or regular pumpkin seeds.
- 38:33Now, zinc and GABA, GABA, GABA is the
- 38:37brain calm down um neurotransmitter,
- 38:41right? And it's made in the gut. So you
- 38:44see how some of the very important
- 38:46neurotransmitters that the brain uses is
- 38:49not happening in the brain. It's
- 38:51happening in the gut. You see why that
- 38:53CNS and ENS relationship is so strong?
- 38:56Because without the the ENS making some
- 38:59of these neurotransmitters, using the
- 39:01building blocks or using the nutrients
- 39:03that are paired with them to do that
- 39:05effectively, what happens? The CNS
- 39:08cannot function at its full capacity.
- 39:10And if the CNS is not transferring
- 39:13information to the ENS to tell it, look,
- 39:15I need you to give me more of this. I
- 39:17need you to have a craving for this. I
- 39:19need you to eat more of this. That's why
- 39:21sugar is such a powerful
- 39:23addiction.
- 39:25One of one of the highest addictions
- 39:27beyond hard drugs is sugar.
- 39:31If you have a child that is hooked on
- 39:33sugar, you might as well have them
- 39:34hooked on any other hard drug out there
- 39:36in the market. There's no difference.
- 39:39It's just that you don't have enough
- 39:40money to buy that one. You're buying the
- 39:41cheaper solution. Really, it's that's
- 39:44how addictive it is. And it messes with
- 39:46the central nervous system and messes
- 39:48with the entic nervous system right now.
- 39:52Um because GABA helps with calming down.
- 39:56It's also very important for being able
- 39:59to get your child to stay in one place.
- 40:02I go for parties, events, and I see
- 40:06children and I want to weep because the
- 40:10singular question I want to ask is why?
- 40:13Why is it that you when you tell
- 40:14somebody to sit down, they cannot sit
- 40:15down? What's the reason for that? What
- 40:18are we doing at home? You're not feeling
- 40:20right.
- 40:22Forget conversations, forget training.
- 40:25Feed well first. I like I said h I after
- 40:31this I probably will join the tip
- 40:33community tip family and get in the ark
- 40:36but I haven't been there and I've been a
- 40:37parent for a decade and I can tell you
- 40:39comfortably that I don't have I didn't
- 40:41have issues with my children sitting
- 40:43down in fact I used my eyes to tell them
- 40:45to sit down I didn't even need to open
- 40:47my mouth sometimes if I look at you sit
- 40:49down because I knew how much effort and
- 40:52energy I spent in feeding the brain in
- 40:54feeding the central nervous system
- 40:56because if I can get that foundation.
- 40:58Every other thing is an add-on. Every
- 41:00other thing is an add-on. Because if the
- 41:03brain cannot receive information, how do
- 41:05you want it to produce an output? How do
- 41:07you want it to perform? How do you want
- 41:09it to put things together to take those
- 41:11things that you're learning from tip to
- 41:13be able to produce the child that that
- 41:15you know you have the capacity to the
- 41:17child that God has given you the
- 41:18authority
- 41:20to build, the authority to raise, to be
- 41:24a part of his army. How are you going to
- 41:26do that if you don't have the found the
- 41:28very foundation? If you read multiple
- 41:30scriptures in the Bible, God used to
- 41:31tell his children, "Eat first. Go and
- 41:35eat and eat well."
- 41:38He did it with the Israelites. He did it
- 41:40with Elijah. Eat well. Go and eat. Let
- 41:43me know what he's doing you first. When
- 41:45you eat, let's now come and have a
- 41:47conversation.
- 41:48Let's now have a conversation. Right? So
- 41:54let's talk about the strategies that are
- 41:56going to help you be able to do some of
- 41:58these things and avoid being part of
- 42:00those percentages I had talked about
- 42:01earlier. Start complimentary foods at 6
- 42:04months. I know some people are eager 3
- 42:06months is too early and I'll tell you
- 42:09why. So we've talked about the gut,
- 42:11right? What is the gut?
- 42:14The gut is this very intricate and wound
- 42:20system where food passes through and
- 42:23through its walls. It's able to leap out
- 42:26into your bloodstream only the nutrients
- 42:29that the body needs. Now when a child is
- 42:32developing they have a very loose wall
- 42:35in their intestinal system. So the way
- 42:38you and I have a digestive system that
- 42:39is tightly wound and our walls are this
- 42:42close together almost only allowing
- 42:44almost like a a breeze to pass through
- 42:47your child your your 3month-old your two
- 42:50month your fourmonth old is like this.
- 42:54So now imagine putting pap through this
- 42:55hole. Don't you think everything in the
- 42:58pap is going to pass through? Both the
- 42:59water, both the corn, both the millet,
- 43:01both the everything. No matter no matter
- 43:03how much water you add, if you like
- 43:06drown the pop and pour it in a bottle,
- 43:09it's everything is going to pass like
- 43:11this versus where it's supposed to be
- 43:13like this. And it's only the nutrients
- 43:14that are supposed to everything will
- 43:16pass. That's why a lot of children who
- 43:19start solids before 6 months, some even
- 43:22before 7 months, before 8 months without
- 43:24the right knowledge and the right tools,
- 43:26end up as adults with multiple um
- 43:30non-communicable diseases, end up with
- 43:32kidney failure and they are struggling
- 43:34to find out what happened. End up with
- 43:37non fatty liver disease.
- 43:42Let's you see this gap? Wait for it to
- 43:44close before you introduce solids. Your
- 43:46child is going to eat for the rest of
- 43:48their lives. For the rest of their
- 43:50lives, right? You are still eating. So,
- 43:52your child is going to do the same. 6
- 43:54months is not that long of a wait for
- 43:56you to wait for this gap to close so
- 43:59that you can start complimentary
- 44:00feeding. Now, against popular belief,
- 44:03PEP really shouldn't be the first food
- 44:05you start with. I learned this a couple
- 44:08years ago because in my training how we
- 44:13train in the US is very different than
- 44:15how we are how we feed in Africa, right?
- 44:18And so what happened was I had a
- 44:22con not even a conviction. I was
- 44:24confused on how to help people because I
- 44:26cannot go to somebody and say just be
- 44:28feeding your child only. They say
- 44:31okay can I add the no leave the amala
- 44:34just theu and the okra and the meat and
- 44:37the liver is good enough but now
- 44:39research is telling us that that is
- 44:41primary so you can leave the swallow
- 44:43alone it's okay
- 44:46u crayfish dry fish stockf fish grind
- 44:50everything together mix it together feed
- 44:52your child from a bowl you don't need
- 44:53the amala they getting everything they
- 44:56need all the nutrients I mentioned the
- 44:58iron
- 44:59the choline
- 45:01helping with tryptophan all of that is
- 45:03happening inside that leave the amala
- 45:06alone start with iron rich foods it's
- 45:09becoming more and more evident that
- 45:11parents that are raising young children
- 45:13don't give them meat
- 45:16I don't know why I don't know cuz what I
- 45:19hear sometimes is oh they don't know how
- 45:20to chew if you've ever breastfed and
- 45:23they've ever dragged your nipple you
- 45:25will know that teeth is not is not a
- 45:27necessity for chewing meat
- 45:29Yeah, you will know that pain. We tell
- 45:31you that teeth are not a necessity for
- 45:34chewing meat. So yes, please feed your
- 45:37children meat from as early as 6 months.
- 45:40Grind it, blend it, boil it in a
- 45:43pressure pot till it's nice and soft.
- 45:45Let them eat meat, please. Don't worry
- 45:48about whether they can tear it or not.
- 45:50Tear it for them. Feed them. The goal is
- 45:53to supply nutrients that support rapid
- 45:55brain development. Remember, your window
- 45:58is short. You have 5 years to get it
- 46:00right. Don't waste it on trying to
- 46:02figure out which cereal is best. Don't
- 46:04waste it on trying to figure out which
- 46:06pap combination is best. Keep it simple.
- 46:09Keep iron top of the list. Keep choling
- 46:12top of the list. Keep DHA top of the
- 46:14list. And I want to emphasize on variety
- 46:17because a lot of the times when after
- 46:19having these seminars and after having
- 46:20these sessions, people will now come
- 46:21back and say, "Ah, I love this so much.
- 46:23I loved how you talked about this. We've
- 46:25been drinking milk every day. That's not
- 46:27what I said.
- 46:29That's absolutely not what I said. And I
- 46:31can tell you that is absolutely not what
- 46:33any of the speakers that have spoken
- 46:34about nutrition are trying to emphasize
- 46:36for you. Don't eat egg every day. Don't
- 46:39eat rice every day. Don't eat potatoes
- 46:42every day. Don't eat stew every day. You
- 46:45are blessed as an African with a variety
- 46:48of food. Diversify your child's diet.
- 46:52Eat from every tribe. Eat from
- 46:54intercontinental dishes. Don't stick to
- 46:57only one set of meals every day. Don't
- 47:00give fruits the same fruit every day of
- 47:02the week. Do some diversification. Let
- 47:05them have a smoothie here. Let them have
- 47:07an apple here. Even if you even if um
- 47:10you're worried about all the fruits
- 47:11spoiling, apples this week, next week
- 47:13oranges, oranges next week, grapes the
- 47:16week. Diversify their diet. Let them eat
- 47:20in the abundance of what God has
- 47:22created. God created so many beautiful
- 47:24different foods and he gave man the
- 47:26understanding to even diversify how to
- 47:28use those foods. Don't sit in a small
- 47:31box. Feed your children diversity. Now
- 47:34this early introduction of I want to
- 47:36emphasize something. Early introduction
- 47:38of multiple textures and flavors trains
- 47:40a palette. There is no child born with
- 47:43the desire to eat sweet things. I'll
- 47:45repeat that. There is no child born with
- 47:48a desire to eat sweet things. Right?
- 47:51Every child is born with a desire to
- 47:54eat. It doesn't matter what it tastes
- 47:56like. And for emphasis, our mouths are
- 48:00full of thousands of neurons, right? And
- 48:04nerves and different taste buds. Do you
- 48:07know that a child has 10,000 more taste
- 48:09buds than you? [snorts] So the stew you
- 48:12cooked now that you're saying, "I think
- 48:15maybe next time I'll add more salt."
- 48:16They tasting salt 10,000 times more. So
- 48:19don't be in a haste to try and make it
- 48:22tasty.
- 48:23Focus on nutrient diversification first
- 48:27right
- 48:29now.
- 48:30Because if you don't if you don't offer
- 48:33multiple textures between those 6 months
- 48:36to 12 months, I always tell my clients
- 48:3912 months your child should be able to
- 48:41wheel a chair up to the dining table and
- 48:43eat with the rest of the family.
- 48:45There shouldn't be a difference in how
- 48:47they eat. Because we've crossed the the
- 48:50the first six months, we've crossed the
- 48:52second six months. Sit with them. Let
- 48:54them eat with you. That's what you use
- 48:57those 6 months to do. Is not to be
- 48:59testing which color of pap should I make
- 49:02or how thick should the pap be. No, they
- 49:05need to be moving from 6 months to 12
- 49:07months to the dining table, sitting with
- 49:09you on Christmas day, chewing their own
- 49:10chicken, eating their own bone,
- 49:12crunching the bone because by then they
- 49:14should have teeth. So they should be
- 49:16able to crunch bone, suck out the
- 49:17marrow. 12 months. Notice I didn't say 5
- 49:20years. I said 12 months because you only
- 49:22have 5 years to achieve this.
- 49:26Now iron is the nutrient most commonly
- 49:28depleted at this stage. I've already
- 49:30talked about that, right? So please make
- 49:32it a a a thing to feed your children red
- 49:35meat. It's only after maybe 30 that you
- 49:39should start worrying about how much red
- 49:41meat am I eating. in those first five
- 49:43years they are the ones that they are
- 49:45the ones that should be eating two meats
- 49:46not even you
- 49:49next strategy as I've talked about is
- 49:51feed balance and diversification a brain
- 49:54supportive diet is not about expensive
- 49:56superfoods I keep saying this one of the
- 49:59things that we teach in our community
- 50:00and we teach in my business is that
- 50:04money is not the problem is your ability
- 50:07to be creative that is
- 50:10money is not the problem is the ability
- 50:12to be creative. That is, I'll give you a
- 50:14good example.
- 50:16Are there any people that live in
- 50:18northern Nigeria? Northern Nigeria has
- 50:21some of the most interesting and diverse
- 50:23um combinations of food. And the reason
- 50:26is because they have very little to work
- 50:27with. But somehow in the little that
- 50:30they have to work with, that's where
- 50:32majority of our spices come from,
- 50:34majority of our exotic foods come from.
- 50:37For example, a good one is cooker.
- 50:39cooker is a bow is the baobab le um
- 50:42bowab, right? The baobab fruit has more
- 50:46calcium than a glass of milk.
- 50:50In fact, if you eat too much baobab, you
- 50:52can calcify your bones if you just keep
- 50:54eating so much of it. Meanwhile, you
- 50:56just need a tablespoon and you have the
- 50:58equivalent of a glass of milk. It's a
- 51:01fantastic source of vitamin C and it's
- 51:04dry. It doesn't require much to eat. It
- 51:09comes dry from the tree. The bowab tree
- 51:11is called the tree of life. Do you know
- 51:14that when it is exported abroad, it
- 51:16costs an arm and a leg. Meanwhile, the
- 51:19bowab tree grows comfortably in the
- 51:21north. Now, it does require a little
- 51:23cleaning, you know, by the time you're
- 51:24processing it. But it's such a powerful
- 51:26fruit. And again, emphasis on dry. It
- 51:29has solved the problem of storage. It
- 51:31has solved the problem of mixing it. It
- 51:33comes in a powdered form. It comes in
- 51:35pores but it comes in a powdered form.
- 51:37Then there's manga which are the leaves
- 51:40that are medicinal that they use to make
- 51:42black soup.
- 51:45Powerful elixir, antioxidant rich and
- 51:49iron rich. You see how simple diversity
- 51:53and superfoods can be. But we are
- 51:55traveling to mane to look for what I
- 51:58don't know in your backyard. I'm sure
- 52:01you can find some really good things.
- 52:03Baky doesn't mean the backard of your
- 52:04house. Talk to the the fruit seller. Ask
- 52:08them what fruit is in season or say,
- 52:11"Which fruit have I not bought from you
- 52:12this week? Is that's the one I want?"
- 52:14You'll be surprised what they will offer
- 52:15you, what it will taste like, what that
- 52:18difference might be for your children.
- 52:19And if you build a child that has a
- 52:21diverse palette, you're never really
- 52:22worried about, oh, will you eat it well
- 52:24or will you not eat it well, right?
- 52:27Every meal has to follow the CPS
- 52:30formula. carbohydrate protein and sorry
- 52:33CPF carbohydrate protein and fat every
- 52:36meal as much as possible please
- 52:38carbohydrate protein and fat as much as
- 52:41possible don't offer
- 52:44um oats without a fat source oats and
- 52:48milk is not enough you need a fat source
- 52:52right don't offer bread with only tea
- 52:56you need a fat source right and you need
- 53:00Good cocoa, not just all those sugar
- 53:04laden things that people are always
- 53:05buying. You need cocoa.
- 53:08These help to keep your energy steady
- 53:10throughout the day, sustains
- 53:13concentration and delivers those
- 53:15micronutrients that we talked about
- 53:16earlier that help those
- 53:17neurotransmitters work effectively. And
- 53:20I've talked to emphasize on protein with
- 53:21every meal or eat protein alone. I make
- 53:25meat related snacks for my kids or I add
- 53:28some form of protein, whether plant
- 53:30protein or animal protein to something
- 53:32they are always eating, right?
- 53:35Um, and if you're even worried about
- 53:38combinations,
- 53:41I know that tip gives you people serious
- 53:43assignments. One assignment I'll give
- 53:45you today. Go home or in your house if
- 53:47you're at home right now. Write
- 53:49carbohydrates on a piece of paper. Write
- 53:51protein on another piece of paper. Write
- 53:52fat on another piece of paper. List out
- 53:55all the carbohydrates you have in your
- 53:56house. List out all the proteins you
- 53:58have in your house. List out all the
- 54:00fats you have in your house. I can bet
- 54:02you right now that the list of protein
- 54:05will be four and the carbohydrate be
- 54:07like 15. Then you will realize that you
- 54:10have a problem.
- 54:12And then the facts might only be two
- 54:14safe. You realize you have a problem
- 54:16because how do we want to combine,
- 54:19right? That's why diversity is
- 54:20important. So do that assignment and
- 54:22then start to increase your list. I tell
- 54:24parents, your children need to eat
- 54:26better than you have ever eaten in your
- 54:28life. It's not about giving them the
- 54:30best of what you didn't have. They need
- 54:32to eat better than you. When I cook in
- 54:35my home for my kids, when people see
- 54:37what they eat, they're like, "What
- 54:39happened? What what's the what what's
- 54:40the occasion? I'm like longevity.
- 54:44They need to outlive me and this is the
- 54:46only way I know how. That is why I don't
- 54:48joke with what they eat. My children eat
- 54:51like kings and queens because they have
- 54:54a throne to sit on. Right? So they eat
- 54:57that way for the purpose of developing
- 54:59the brain and developing the rest of
- 55:00their body. And my children have gotten
- 55:02so used to it that even when they go to
- 55:04school, they will come back and say,
- 55:05"Oh, I saw what this person ate and I
- 55:07felt so sad. So I gave them a part of my
- 55:09lunch and then sometimes I'll pack two
- 55:10because they want to give somebody
- 55:11else." They know they eat well. They
- 55:14know they eating well.
- 55:18Feed adequately and often enough.
- 55:20Children need to eat.
- 55:23One thing I always recommend is baking.
- 55:28I absolutely love baking.
- 55:32It's calming. It's a almost like a
- 55:35thoughtless process, especially when you
- 55:37do it long enough. But most importantly,
- 55:39you control what you bake.
- 55:42You control your children lose interest
- 55:45in all the sugar laden things because
- 55:46it's happening in the house. I'm not a
- 55:49believer of secluding your children from
- 55:51the realities they are going to
- 55:52experience. You're raising children to
- 55:54be in the world and to conquer the world
- 55:56but not to be of this world. Right? So
- 55:59they will infiltrate and they will
- 56:01occupy. But in order to infiltrate and
- 56:04occupy, you need to know the layout of
- 56:05the land. You need to know that a cookie
- 56:08is not the problem. It's what is in the
- 56:10cookie that is in the problem. Have you
- 56:12ever made cookies with beans? Made
- 56:14cookies with lentils? Made cookies with
- 56:16guinea? That's not that cookie and the
- 56:20one on the shelf. They're not age mates.
- 56:22They can't even sit in the same table.
- 56:24Or have you made made muffins with cocoa
- 56:28and um what's this thing called?
- 56:31Bambara, which is aqua. I know so many
- 56:34people used to think I was crazy when I
- 56:36used to use agusi as my butter. Yes,
- 56:39agusi. The one used to make for soup.
- 56:41Use it as butter cuz butter is
- 56:43expensive. But we have a googusi all the
- 56:44time. So why not, right?
- 56:48take authority in your home when it
- 56:50comes to how you feed your children and
- 56:52it will transfer to the adults. When my
- 56:53husband goes to work in the morning and
- 56:55you know you want to grab something
- 56:56quick and you want to grab your coffee,
- 56:58I would just see him putting hand inside
- 57:00my children's pancake and I'll be
- 57:01looking at him like it's not for you. He
- 57:03said please please I should leave him
- 57:05and he will carry the pancake but I know
- 57:06he's fed well and he will take like two
- 57:08or three. Now he could have eaten a
- 57:11muffin from anywhere else but he's
- 57:12eating real nutrients. He always tells
- 57:15people, "Oh, I'm afraid to tell you
- 57:18people what I'm eating because I don't
- 57:19know what could be inside. It could be
- 57:22strange." And that's okay. Like one
- 57:24speaker said that I listened to Yes. Um
- 57:26today, earlier today said, "It's okay to
- 57:28be weird, right? Especially if you're on
- 57:30the right side of weird, it's okay. So
- 57:33feed adequately and feed more
- 57:34frequently. 6 to 8 months, 2 to three
- 57:38meals per day alongside breast milk."
- 57:40Notice I said two to three meals. I
- 57:42didn't say half a meal or one meal. And
- 57:44it can be two spoons here, three spoons
- 57:46here. Diversify it, right? We've talked
- 57:48about diversification quite a bit. 9 to
- 57:5111 months, 3 to four meals per day along
- 57:53with the breast milk. Again, different
- 57:56things. If you don't want it to be too
- 57:58much of a struggle for you, build a
- 58:00system. One of the very easiest system
- 58:02is have three meals, divide them into
- 58:04two, you have six meals. If I do meal
- 58:06one, you can do meal one, meal two, meal
- 58:09three, then meal one, meal two, and meal
- 58:11three before they go to bed. In between
- 58:13they do breast milk. Again, it's not
- 58:15about the quantity, it's about the
- 58:17quality. Two tablespoons of oats with
- 58:22chia seeds and baobab and milk is better
- 58:25than oats and milk. You see the
- 58:28difference? Toddlers that five, age
- 58:31five, six, four, three, three meals and
- 58:35two nutritious snacks. Like I said,
- 58:38really get into the habit. A good recipe
- 58:41that I make is ground beef or ground
- 58:44turkey or ground anything. Ground meat,
- 58:45minced meat, whatever you want to call
- 58:47it, with leftover rice, a little bit of
- 58:50cheese, lots of soya bean, flour, and
- 58:54eggs. I mix it all together and I roll
- 58:56it into a bowl and I toss it into my air
- 58:59fryer. 15 minutes. My children can snack
- 59:01on it. Eating two of those things is a
- 59:03full meal than eating rice and stew.
- 59:06Just eating two of those balls, it's a
- 59:08full meal than eating rice and stew.
- 59:09Because many of us, our stew is not
- 59:11alive again.
- 59:13It's drier than the bones. It's not even
- 59:15living. There's no nutritional value in
- 59:17the stew that you cooked or you cooked
- 59:19it with confidence. Please stop cooking
- 59:22dead stew.
- 59:24Cook your stew by roasting your your
- 59:27your um tomatoes. Don't fry them. Even
- 59:31if you want to add oil, don't let the
- 59:33oil drown. Right? We've all learned we
- 59:36have we have fixed pallets. That's why
- 59:38many of us are struggling when they tell
- 59:40you, "Oh, you have a disease now or you
- 59:42have a condition or you have a dis like
- 59:44will I eat?" It's because your palette
- 59:46is stuck on eating the wrong way. If you
- 59:48are eating differently, if you are
- 59:50eating properly, if you had vegetables
- 59:53with every meal, if you had if you were
- 59:55used to not eating everything so sweet,
- 59:57it wouldn't be a struggle if for some
- 1:00:00reason you have a health condition. And
- 1:00:01that's what we pray against for our
- 1:00:03children, right? We pray against that
- 1:00:05for our children. But as much as you are
- 1:00:07praying, as much as you are praying, I
- 1:00:10need you to be doing the work. Cuz faith
- 1:00:14without work is dead. It's dead on
- 1:00:15arrival. There's no point believing so
- 1:00:18strongly and not acting out the faith by
- 1:00:21doing the things required to prepare
- 1:00:23yourself for when you receive that
- 1:00:26healing, when you receive that thing
- 1:00:27you've prayed for. God is not going to
- 1:00:29put it in your hand like this without
- 1:00:32you doing the work to receive it, right?
- 1:00:35He's not a magician.
- 1:00:38So, our takeaway, my own throne is my
- 1:00:42kitchen. That's where I I I do the I I I
- 1:00:46devour the enemy. I scatter on the
- 1:00:49battlefield in my kitchen. My kitchen is
- 1:00:52where my throne is. That's where
- 1:00:54decisions are made. That's where my
- 1:00:56children's health is built on. This
- 1:00:59morning I was taking my children to
- 1:01:00summer camp and my daughter said to me,
- 1:01:03"Oh, my throat is is hurting."
- 1:01:06And I have older kids, so I no longer my
- 1:01:09god, what will I do? I've left that
- 1:01:11department. Even when they were younger,
- 1:01:12I think up until about my kids were
- 1:01:15five, I stopped having those
- 1:01:17palpitations because I knew exactly what
- 1:01:19needed to do, what to mix, and everybody
- 1:01:20would be fine. So [snorts] I said to
- 1:01:22her, I said, "Oh, I'm so sorry you're
- 1:01:23feeling that way. when you come home,
- 1:01:25what do you need to do? Oh, she said,
- 1:01:26I'll just brew a cup of lemon and
- 1:01:27ginger. Three nights ago, my my son
- 1:01:30said, "Oh, he needs to relax in the
- 1:01:31evening." I said, "What does that mean?"
- 1:01:33He says, "Oh, he's going to brew a cup
- 1:01:34of lemon and ginger and honey and read a
- 1:01:36book." I said, "You are enjoying." No,
- 1:01:40you are living the best life. And I
- 1:01:41walked past and I went to my room and he
- 1:01:44brewed a cup for him and his sister, sat
- 1:01:46on the couch with his hot cup of lemon
- 1:01:48and ginger and honey and started
- 1:01:49drinking and was reading his book.
- 1:01:53that picture for me.
- 1:01:55I've I've finished my work as a parent.
- 1:01:58I don't have any other if my child can
- 1:02:00confidently view brewing a cup of lemon
- 1:02:03and ginger and honey. And I'm not
- 1:02:05talking about like tea bagago. Raw
- 1:02:08ginger that has been grated. It's in the
- 1:02:10fridge. Raw lemon that I've juiced. Raw
- 1:02:13honey. Boil hot water. Pour it. Steip
- 1:02:15it. Leave it for a few minutes. Mix it.
- 1:02:17Drink it. I'm I'm finished my work when
- 1:02:20it comes to nutrition on my children
- 1:02:21because they know the importance of
- 1:02:23those things. They know the value that
- 1:02:25liver and eggs have. They know the value
- 1:02:27that beans and crayfish have. They know
- 1:02:29the value that titles and mackerel and
- 1:02:31sadines have. They know the value that
- 1:02:33ug and roasted tomatoes have. They know
- 1:02:35that peanut butter is not just for
- 1:02:37bread. Peanut butter is for making
- 1:02:39energy balls. Peanut butter is for
- 1:02:41making sauce. Peanut butter is used for
- 1:02:43making cookies. They know. They know
- 1:02:45that yam and plantain are not just for
- 1:02:47carbohydrates. They know they contain
- 1:02:49prebiotics. They know the value. And I
- 1:02:51want to end this by saying that you're
- 1:02:55not going to be perfect. That's not what
- 1:02:56we're aiming here for. We're aiming for
- 1:02:59consistency,
- 1:03:00intentionality, and focus. Know where
- 1:03:04you are going. Take consistent steps
- 1:03:06towards it. And be intentional about it.
- 1:03:10You're not going to have all the
- 1:03:13Yeah.
- 1:03:15Thank you very much.
- 1:03:20Wow.
- 1:03:21Wow.
- 1:03:24I'm short of words.
- 1:03:26>> It's amazing. Thank you so much, ma'am,
- 1:03:29for this thoughtprovoking session. I am
- 1:03:33very sure that our shopping list will
- 1:03:35not remain the same again after this
- 1:03:37session.
- 1:03:39Thank you so much. We want to appreciate
- 1:03:41you for coming here and um there's
- 1:03:44something that resonates with most of us
- 1:03:47and is the fact that we have learned
- 1:03:49today that feeding our children is not
- 1:03:52just about growth but about helping them
- 1:03:55to maintain a good brain that can
- 1:03:57actually learn and actually get them to
- 1:04:00um sit on the throne that the Lord has
- 1:04:03preserved for them. Thank you very much
- 1:04:05for that session. Um we would like to go
- 1:04:08for water break right now so that when
- 1:04:11we come back our attendees can give us
- 1:04:14some questions that you would answer.
- 1:04:17Thank you very much.
- 1:04:25Good morning everyone. My name is Mrs.
- 1:04:27Blessing. I am married with three kings
- 1:04:30and a queen and I am a proud Yaga seated
- 1:04:35already in cohort 1B 2027
- 1:04:38for the fourth time. I came into the
- 1:04:40information from my friend. I [music]
- 1:04:42attended the conference precept upon
- 1:04:43precept and I was wowed. I said where
- 1:04:45have I been all this way? Then co and
- 1:04:48her team visited Ko for TIP summit 2024.
- 1:04:52Then I [music] understood I had clarity
- 1:04:54that this is real. Before I came into
- 1:04:56the yard, I have been an [music]
- 1:04:58inconsistent person. I have no control
- 1:05:00over my emotions and I really finish
- 1:05:03what I started. I [music] am in the
- 1:05:04yard. I follow I do my best to follow
- 1:05:06all instructions and the testimonies
- 1:05:09[music] are enormous. I am a better
- 1:05:11person. I relate better with people. I
- 1:05:13connect more to correct my children and
- 1:05:16everybody [music]
- 1:05:17around me compliment the transformation
- 1:05:20in my characters. I want to use this
- 1:05:22opportunity to invite every one of you
- 1:05:24into the yard. I tell you, [music] you
- 1:05:26will have peace just like I have now.
- 1:05:30You're welcome to [music] the yard.
- 1:05:38Thank you very much. Tim, can you help
- 1:05:40us with some of the questions for our
- 1:05:43speaker today?
- 1:05:50Okay,
- 1:05:52question. So if getting it wrong at 0 to
- 1:05:565 ages, how do one rectify that damage
- 1:06:00done after 5 years old? Now
- 1:06:04>> the first thing is communication. Um now
- 1:06:07this is me making an assumption that you
- 1:06:09have a communication channel with your
- 1:06:11child. You need to sit them down and
- 1:06:13first tell them things are changing
- 1:06:15because when we abruptly make these
- 1:06:18changes on children, it's a battle that
- 1:06:21you're going to lose over and over
- 1:06:23again. So the first thing is communicate
- 1:06:25with the child the changes. Second, make
- 1:06:28small but conscious effort to make
- 1:06:30changes. So if there's something in your
- 1:06:31house that they've been eating wrong for
- 1:06:33a long time, that's the last time you'll
- 1:06:35buy it. That's the end. And as you're
- 1:06:37getting as you're telling yourself that,
- 1:06:39you're finding a replacement. So
- 1:06:41purchase meal plans that have already
- 1:06:44been tailored to suit this change,
- 1:06:46right? Have consultations with experts
- 1:06:48like myself to say, "Okay, this is where
- 1:06:50we are. This is where we are going. How
- 1:06:52do I merge the two to head in the right
- 1:06:54direction?" Um, and most importantly, be
- 1:06:57kind to yourself. I know that when we
- 1:07:01have these kind of conversations and we
- 1:07:02lay emphasis on these things that we say
- 1:07:04that it's you, you miss it, you miss it.
- 1:07:07Yes, you've missed it. But the brain is
- 1:07:10malleable, right? It's formed, but it's
- 1:07:13malleable. Things can still happen. So
- 1:07:16the focus is being kind to yourself,
- 1:07:19communicating, getting the right
- 1:07:21nutrients and implementing immediately.
- 1:07:24Don't use one week to wait to how you
- 1:07:25want to implement. Start now. If they
- 1:07:27were not eating enough vegetables, start
- 1:07:29including it. If they were not eating
- 1:07:30enough, if you used to boil your yam,
- 1:07:32for example,
- 1:07:34um without the back and you have the
- 1:07:35capacity to start boiling it with the
- 1:07:37back. My children eat the skin of
- 1:07:39potatoes. Eat the skin of potatoes. Like
- 1:07:41small changes but effective ones, right?
- 1:07:46>> Okay. Thank you very much, ma'am.
- 1:07:50I think you have another question.
- 1:07:52>> Yes, another question. It says, "Please,
- 1:07:55ma'am, my son of three years doesn't
- 1:07:58like eating meat or even fish. Please,
- 1:08:02what can I do?"
- 1:08:04>> Um, first things first, how are you
- 1:08:05presenting it? A lot of the times how we
- 1:08:08present fish and meat is the way we want
- 1:08:10to eat it. You are not feeding yourself.
- 1:08:12You're feeding somebody else. You and
- 1:08:14your child are different individuals.
- 1:08:15The moment a lot of parents begin to
- 1:08:17understand is the more peace they have.
- 1:08:19Right? Secondly, stop the assumption
- 1:08:22that because you cut it up into tiny
- 1:08:23meat pieces is no longer fish and meat.
- 1:08:26My dear, the nutrient is what we are
- 1:08:28focused on, not the presentation. It's
- 1:08:30not you that is eating it, it's somebody
- 1:08:32else. Do you need to chop it up? Chop it
- 1:08:34up. Do you need to blend it? Blend it.
- 1:08:37Do you need to use it to make your own
- 1:08:39stock cube? Do that. Do you need to
- 1:08:41grind the meat and use it as the water
- 1:08:43to boil the rice? Do that. Again, they
- 1:08:46focus the nutrients, not in the
- 1:08:48presentation. When a child is used to a
- 1:08:50taste, they build trust, reduce their
- 1:08:53struggles with you, and then you can
- 1:08:54then graduate to eating whole fish and
- 1:08:56whole meat.
- 1:08:58>> Thank you very much, ma'am. Thank you
- 1:09:00very much. Another question. How do you
- 1:09:02go about sourcing whole foods
- 1:09:08>> like just buying whole foods or buying
- 1:09:10whole foods without chemicals and things
- 1:09:12like that? Is that what we're talking
- 1:09:14about?
- 1:09:15>> Yes. Free of chemicals and
- 1:09:17preservatives.
- 1:09:18>> Um so, so this is a dicey question
- 1:09:21simply because we don't know, right? Um
- 1:09:25but here's what I say.
- 1:09:28Don't try to be doing organic too often.
- 1:09:31It's the nutrient profile is not
- 1:09:35significantly different. That's number
- 1:09:38one. Try to buy organic in the foods
- 1:09:41that you have to eat the skin, right? So
- 1:09:44like the apples, strawberries, mangoes,
- 1:09:47things like that. As much as possible,
- 1:09:49try to buy those as organic as you can.
- 1:09:51Um secondly, build relationships with
- 1:09:55farmers, farmers markets, local farmers
- 1:09:59around you. build relationships with
- 1:10:02them. Build relationships with people
- 1:10:04who know farmers, right? And then three,
- 1:10:09as much as possible, when you're buying
- 1:10:10grains, buy the whole grain or the whole
- 1:10:14grain that has been ground, right?
- 1:10:16Because the likelihood of you buying
- 1:10:18anything that is free of chemicals in
- 1:10:19today's world is like 20% unless you are
- 1:10:23growing it yourself. Um, as much as
- 1:10:25people like to say, "Oh, eat this, eat
- 1:10:26this," you are exposed to these things
- 1:10:28on a regular basis, right? So, as much
- 1:10:30as possible,
- 1:10:32control what you make in your food and
- 1:10:35diversify.
- 1:10:37I'll give you a good example. Um,
- 1:10:40lectins are found in beans. It's an
- 1:10:43anti-nutrient. But when you pair bean
- 1:10:46with foods that are high in selenium,
- 1:10:48like crayfish and mushrooms, they reduce
- 1:10:50the impact. So now imagine that every
- 1:10:53time you cook beans, there's no mushroom
- 1:10:54inside. It's only small crayfish, right?
- 1:10:57Or you don't add enough fish. When you
- 1:10:59diversify your diet, you are less likely
- 1:11:03to accumulate certain chemicals in the
- 1:11:05body because things tend to cancel out.
- 1:11:08God was so God is so kind to us. He gave
- 1:11:12us everything we need. That's why
- 1:11:14traditional medicine is still valuable
- 1:11:16till today because you eat poison of
- 1:11:19apple and use the seed of apple to solve
- 1:11:21the poison.
- 1:11:23>> Diversify your your diet. Diversify it.
- 1:11:27In my house, we eat rice twice a week. I
- 1:11:30can have container of stew in my freezer
- 1:11:31for months,
- 1:11:34months, because we'll eat different
- 1:11:36sauces, different things. Diversify your
- 1:11:40Okay. Thank you so much, man. Thank you
- 1:11:43so much for that. I want to appreciate
- 1:11:45um you for everything that you have done
- 1:11:49and appreciate our mentor, Coach Wendy,
- 1:11:52for giving us the opportunity to hear
- 1:11:53these amazing things from you. Thank you
- 1:11:56so much, ma'am. You're welcome and
- 1:11:58welcome to the yard. We would like to
- 1:11:59see you there. God bless you.
- 1:12:01>> Ma'am, thank you. Have a blessed evening
- 1:12:04everyone. Bye.
- 1:12:06>> Thank you so much, ma'am. And I want to
- 1:12:08talk about the inner circle. The inner
- 1:12:10circle is the place you need to be.
- 1:12:12Okay. So, our speaker said we should aim
- 1:12:14for consistency, intentionality,
- 1:12:17and focus. And I thank God for tip. So

- 1:13:24Good day everyone out there. My name is
- 1:13:25Eintoman.
- 1:13:27I live in [music] Yo Aqua State, Nigeria
- 1:13:30and I am a proud student, in fact a live
- 1:13:34member of the [music] intentional parent
- 1:13:36academy by Wendy Oli. Daily in the yard,
- 1:13:40we are being equipped [music] with
- 1:13:41connection tools and voice notes to help
- 1:13:44us navigate on having effective
- 1:13:46connection with our children. So, the
- 1:13:48connection I now have with my boys is
- 1:13:49now so solid. And in my marriage, oh my
- 1:13:52goodness, [music] there's been a
- 1:13:53turnaround because I now know how to go
- 1:13:56about issues in my marriage. And did I
- 1:13:58tell you that from the results my
- 1:14:00husband saw, he was able and willing to
- 1:14:03join the But beyond family life, there's
- 1:14:05been a 360° turnaround. Is it in the way
- 1:14:08the scriptures have been dissected
- 1:14:10[music] to us? Is it in the daily
- 1:14:11connection tools that we have? Is it in
- 1:14:13the wisdom notes that we receive? Is it
- 1:14:15in the webinars that we receive
- 1:14:18warmth that we have? Oh my goodness.
- 1:14:20See, this is a fold of like-minded
- 1:14:23people who journey together [music] and
- 1:14:25the journey becomes easy. I'm going to
- 1:14:28extend an open invitation to you. Are
- 1:14:30you single? [music]
- 1:14:31Are you married? Do you have children?
- 1:14:34Are you yet to have children? Please
- 1:14:35come in. We have people of all walks of
- 1:14:38life. We have everybody in here. It is
- 1:14:41not restricted [music] to religion. It's
- 1:14:42not restricted to gender. It's not
- 1:14:44restricted to country because everything
- 1:14:46is fully virtual. Please come in. Do not
- 1:14:48grow in the [music] dark anymore because
- 1:14:50outside there, I bet you can see that a
- 1:14:53lot is happening. Please come in here
- 1:14:55and become the best that God has
- 1:14:57ordained you to be. [music] I'm going to
- 1:14:58be waiting to receive and welcome you
- 1:15:00very warmly in the 2027 cohort. Thank
- 1:15:02you so much and you have an amazing
- 1:15:05amazing time [music] with us
- 1:15:09in
- 1:15:11intentional parents. You take the health
- 1:15:14of your children very seriously. Many of
- 1:15:17you assume it is certain science that
- 1:15:19vaccinating your children is a key
- 1:15:22component of keeping them healthy.
- 1:15:24That has been debunked as false. Allow
- 1:15:27me to introduce you to Aaron Siri, a US
- 1:15:31lawyer who has for over 10 years
- 1:15:34successfully prosecuted pharmaceutical
- 1:15:37companies on behalf of the parents of
- 1:15:40vaccine injured children. Eraseri has
- 1:15:43found that intentional parents take the
- 1:15:46time to study primary source material
- 1:15:48about vaccines, interpret the science
- 1:15:52accurately, and typically decide to not
- 1:15:56vaccinate or to stop vaccinating their
- 1:15:58children. He has put all the information
- 1:16:02that intentional parents need to make
- 1:16:04informed choices for their children's
- 1:16:07health in his new book vaccine amen
- 1:16:10which is available on Amazon. I'm Dr.
- 1:16:14Obi a nrotechnology medical consultant a
- 1:16:18wellness advocate and host of the
- 1:16:21healing e podcast and I invite you to
- 1:16:24purchase vaccine amen and read it. Why?
- 1:16:29Since COVID, vaccine production has
- 1:16:32moved to the mRNA platform and this has
- 1:16:36proven in the last 5 years to cause
- 1:16:40untold astronomical levels of harm and
- 1:16:44death to those who receive them.
- 1:16:47Knowledge is power. We read in the yard.
- 1:16:52So, let us learn the lessons from CO.
- 1:16:55Let us be prepared. so that we will make
- 1:16:58informed choices in the future for the
- 1:17:01health of our children and ourselves.
- 1:17:07Can a skyscraper stand on the foundation
- 1:17:10of a bungalow? Of course not. The taller
- 1:17:13the building, the deeper the foundation.
- 1:17:15Every architect knows that what lies
- 1:17:16beneath the ties everything that rises
- 1:17:18above. So, let me ask you, if the first
- 1:17:21seven years shape the rest of the life
- 1:17:23of your child, are you intentionally
- 1:17:25building or simply hoping everything
- 1:17:27works out? Are you allowing school,
- 1:17:29society, and culture to define who they
- 1:17:32become? What if your child's greatest
- 1:17:34potential is already visible, but you
- 1:17:36don't know how to recognize it yet? What
- 1:17:38if the behaviors you're trying to stop
- 1:17:40are actually clues to strength that need
- 1:17:43direction instead of suppression? What
- 1:17:45if the reason parenting feels exhausting
- 1:17:47isn't because your child is difficult,
- 1:17:49but because you're using strategies that
- 1:17:51doesn't fit the child God gave you. My
- 1:17:53name is Favor Moses, leases coach,
- 1:17:55education expert, mother of three, and
- 1:17:58the founder of the Genius Mind Academy.
- 1:18:00At the Genius Mind, we believe every
- 1:18:01child is born with a unique design,
- 1:18:03abilities, and expression. Our mission
- 1:18:05is to help parents discover, nurture,
- 1:18:07and launch that genius in their child.
- 1:18:09Why? Because the most important years of
- 1:18:11your child's life are the years the
- 1:18:13world pays the least attention to. From
- 1:18:16pregnancy to age seven, your child's
- 1:18:18brain develops are a pet that would
- 1:18:20never happen again in their life. Their
- 1:18:23identity, confidence, creativity,
- 1:18:25curiosity, emotional patterns, and love
- 1:18:27for learning are being shaped. Those
- 1:18:29windows of opportunity only open once.
- 1:18:32Yet many parents are simply surviving
- 1:18:33these years not because they don't love
- 1:18:35their children but because no one taught
- 1:18:37them how to intentionally build in these
- 1:18:39years before your child experiences the
- 1:18:41world. You are the parents are the first
- 1:18:43environment. Through reset, renew,
- 1:18:45rebuild, we help you clear the noise,
- 1:18:47grow in awareness and become the
- 1:18:49intentional architect of your child's
- 1:18:51future. Through discover, recover and
- 1:18:53nurture. We help you understand your
- 1:18:55child's temperament, strengths,
- 1:18:56abilities, learning styles, and unique
- 1:18:58expression. So you stop comparing them
- 1:19:01and start developing them. Through the
- 1:19:03launch of your genius, we give you
- 1:19:04practical systems, structures, and age
- 1:19:06appropriate strategies that transform
- 1:19:08everyday family life into genius
- 1:19:10building moments. Imagine understanding
- 1:19:12exactly what your child needs at every
- 1:19:14stage. Imagine responding to difficult
- 1:19:16behaviors without damaging their
- 1:19:18confidence. Imagine building a home
- 1:19:20where curiosity is protected, creativity
- 1:19:22is encouraged and purpose is
- 1:19:24intentionally nurtured. Now let me leave
- 1:19:26you with one final question. 10 years
- 1:19:28from now, would you look back and say,
- 1:19:30"I am glad I caught the window." The
- 1:19:32future isn't built when the child
- 1:19:34becomes an adult. The future is built in
- 1:19:36the first seven years. Would you build
- 1:19:37on guesswork or a blueprint? Join us to
- 1:19:40launch a genius in your child.
- 1:19:43>> Are you tired of guessing your way
