- 0:05Father Reper Sean, it's good to see you
- 0:08again.
- 0:08>> It's good to be here.
- 0:09>> Welcome to our place.
- 0:10>> It's beautiful here. I would love to uh
- 0:13get a tour here.
- 0:14>> Oh, absolutely. After afterwards, we'll
- 0:16we'll do it.
- 0:17>> Perfect.
- 0:18Well, like I said, it's it's great to
- 0:21see you again and uh I've had a great
- 0:23couple of days here. got some heavy work
- 0:25done
- 0:26>> and um so we got a lot to talk about.
- 0:30I've been highlighting a lot of evil the
- 0:33past couple years and I haven't talked
- 0:35much about the good side,
- 0:37>> right?
- 0:38>> And so I fully intend to do that today,
- 0:41but before we get started,
- 0:43[clears throat]
- 0:44>> everybody gets a gift.
- 0:46>> Oh. Oh, that's right. Yeah.
- 0:53Oh, so that's awesome.
- 0:56>> This is the Sig MCX Spear 5.56 model
- 1:02with a Sigour suppressor on it. It's got
- 1:04SIG optics, SIG magnifier,
- 1:07and uh since you're out here in Colorado
- 1:11out on some serious acorage, I thought
- 1:13uh you know,
- 1:15>> a great gift.
- 1:16>> We have Thank you very much. We'll have
- 1:17to test it out later this afternoon.
- 1:20>> We'll definitely do that.
- 1:22>> Thank you very much. Your last gift was
- 1:24wellreceived. Let's just put it that
- 1:26way.
- 1:27>> Well, my friend Jason over at Sig's a
- 1:28huge fan of you as well, and uh he
- 1:30wanted me to gift that to you. So,
- 1:32>> yeah.
- 1:33>> There you go. Thank you very much.
- 1:37[clears throat]
- 1:38>> So, before we get started, if you don't
- 1:40mind, could you please lead us in
- 1:41prayer?
- 1:41>> Sure.
- 1:42>> In the name of the Father and of the Son
- 1:44and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Direct, O
- 1:46Lord, all our actions by thy holy
- 1:48inspirations and carry them on by thy
- 1:50gracious assistance so that every prayer
- 1:52and work of ours may begin from thee and
- 1:54by thee beyondly through Christ our
- 1:56Lord. Amen. Amen. [clears throat]
- 1:57>> In the name of the Father, Son, Holy
- 1:59Spirit. Amen.
- 2:00>> So, I'm going to be honest. I actually
- 2:03came here originally, my plan was a
- 2:06completely different agenda. And I came
- 2:09here to attempt to
- 2:13aviscerate and destroy
- 2:16two politicians within the current
- 2:18administration that I think are going to
- 2:20overexaggerate their allegiance to the
- 2:23Catholic Church to try to sway the
- 2:24Catholic vote.
- 2:25>> Right?
- 2:26>> And
- 2:29I'm not going to do that.
- 2:32>> The last couple weeks I've just realized
- 2:34that
- 2:36the battle maybe isn't over. over the
- 2:37country, not even over the world. It's
- 2:40over our souls and over our mind.
- 2:42>> That's right.
- 2:43>> And I don't think it matters who walks
- 2:46into that office. It is going to be
- 2:48somebody under heavy diabolical
- 2:52influence.
- 2:52>> That's right.
- 2:53>> Maybe even straight Satanism.
- 2:55>> And I think what we're seeing today is
- 2:59human sacrifice.
- 3:01>> I don't think it matters what side gets
- 3:03in there. They're either going to send
- 3:06our youth to war to die for another
- 3:09country or they're going to
- 3:11psychologically mutilate their brains
- 3:13and convince them to mutilate their
- 3:15bodies and dismember themselves. And I
- 3:18think that it all goes down to human
- 3:20sacrifice.
- 3:21>> Yeah.
- 3:23>> Do you believe that?
- 3:24>> Uh I do. I think uh for some time uh
- 3:28this was about 10 years ago I made an
- 3:31observation in a public conference that
- 3:33this is no longer a battle of ideas.
- 3:35It's no longer a battle of you know that
- 3:38people have differences of opinions.
- 3:39This is a battle of good and evil at
- 3:42this point. And so many of the patterns
- 3:45which we see in the psychological um
- 3:48behavior [clears throat] of people who
- 3:49are diabolically influenced, you see
- 3:52those same patterns in the people that
- 3:53are running the government and uh you
- 3:55know in positions of power. And so for
- 3:58the longest time I've I've known that
- 3:59this is ultimately a battle over good
- 4:01and evil at this point.
- 4:03>> [sighs]
- 4:04>> So regardless of what, as you mentioned,
- 4:06regardless of whichever political party
- 4:08or whoever gets in there, um, you know,
- 4:11you can shuffle the chairs on the deck
- 4:13of the Titanic, but it's still going to
- 4:14go down if people don't address this in
- 4:16a spiritual manner. I'll tell you one
- 4:19thing I've learned over the past several
- 4:21weeks is I will never put my hope or
- 4:25faith in another man.
- 4:27>> Yeah.
- 4:28>> Ever again. Yeah. It says it right in
- 4:30scripture, right? It's better to trust
- 4:31in God than in princes. cuz they'll
- 4:34they'll end up selling you out every
- 4:35time. Actually saw this even with uh
- 4:38when the Jews said we wanted a king,
- 4:39they told God they wanted a king, which
- 4:41is ironic because the Jews were the only
- 4:43ones who ever had a theocracy, an
- 4:45authentic theocracy in the entire
- 4:47history of the world and they still said
- 4:48they wanted a king. So then he says,
- 4:50"Well, this is what he's going to do if
- 4:51you if I give you the king. This is what
- 4:54he's going to do to you." And you know,
- 4:55he's going to send your he's going to
- 4:56send your children off to war. He's
- 4:58going to, you know, take your best
- 4:59lands. He's going to do this, that, and
- 5:00the other thing. And they said, "We
- 5:01still want a king.
- 5:03soon.
- 5:05>> We never learn.
- 5:06>> We don't learn.
- 5:08>> So, before we get to the good stuff, I
- 5:10do want to cover the alien topic again.
- 5:14>> Okay.
- 5:14>> I think it's a dark topic and I have an
- 5:17inclination. It's already been put out
- 5:20uh in messaging that the
- 5:24aliens
- 5:27wrote the Bible to control humanity.
- 5:30That's already a narrative that's being
- 5:32spread,
- 5:32>> right?
- 5:33>> We have a timeline of events here that's
- 5:35going on. I'll read him real quick.
- 5:44And the timeline seems to be speeding
- 5:46up. Here's here's the last couple of
- 5:48months. March 2026, Vice President Vance
- 5:51says publicly he believes UFOs are
- 5:54demons. The spiritual read reaches the
- 5:57second highest office in the country.
- 5:59May of 2026, the US government releases
- 6:02UFO files in splashy, headline grabbing
- 6:05fashion. Disclosure moves from fringe to
- 6:08official. Late May, a group of
- 6:11charismatic pastors claims US officials
- 6:14met with them and warned them to prepare
- 6:16their churches for the theological
- 6:19implications of disclosure.
- 6:21[clears throat]
- 6:22>> May 29th to June 3rd, Steven Rosetti
- 6:26posted video. Most UFO sightings are in
- 6:29fact demons.
- 6:30>> Right.
- 6:31>> Cardinal Melroy removes him at
- 6:33Washington DC's Exorcist within days.
- 6:36>> Right.
- 6:36>> June 7th, Spielberg on CBS Morning
- 6:40frames the faith question for a mass
- 6:42audience. Is our God is God our God only
- 6:46on this planet? June 12th, disclosure
- 6:49day opens nationwide in a film which the
- 6:52government releases UFO files mirroring
- 6:55real events 3 weeks earlier.
- 6:57>> Right?
- 7:00>> Why are we seeing this sudden
- 7:02fascination within our government in a
- 7:04sped up timeline in UFO and disclosure
- 7:07release along
- 7:08>> the coincides with Hollywood?
- 7:12Uh
- 7:13my only uh you know ultimately I don't
- 7:16know why they're going to do it other
- 7:18than it's just another aspect of trying
- 7:20to control people psychologically or to
- 7:23manipulate uh to manipulate people.
- 7:26[snorts] Um, and so that's uh part of it
- 7:30is too is that they're they're playing
- 7:32on the fact that people generally are
- 7:33pretty ignorant about history like you
- 7:36know as we were mentioning that um you
- 7:39know that the that the scriptures were
- 7:41actually written by aliens that type of
- 7:43thing a lot or that the aliens actually
- 7:46um come here to offer us a way to save
- 7:48humanity. So they want to supplant
- 7:50Christianity and that type of thing. And
- 7:52so my suspicion is, you know, again, how
- 7:55much evidence I would have for it, I
- 7:57don't really know, but uh my suspicion
- 7:59is is that a lot of the people that are
- 8:00in government are actually
- 8:02anti-Christian. And so part of their
- 8:04way, what their goal is is to supplant
- 8:06Christianity by an alternative
- 8:09explanation of our origins and things of
- 8:11that sort. Do you think it is a
- 8:13possibility that the narrative that they
- 8:15are going to try to destroy Christianity
- 8:17by by by by
- 8:19saying that aliens wrote the Bible to
- 8:22control us? Do you think that is a is an
- 8:24actual possibility? Yeah, actually if
- 8:26you look at the history of like for
- 8:27example of um uh I mean the the supposed
- 8:31alien communication with people other
- 8:33than say abductions, but there's also
- 8:36where people claim to have some type of
- 8:39communication with aliens on another
- 8:40planet through astral projection or some
- 8:42other form of um communication. It's
- 8:45always to supplant Christianity as the
- 8:48solution to man's problems. the demons
- 8:51or not not the demons so much but uh
- 8:53because we can get into that too but the
- 8:55the aliens always say well we you know
- 8:57we're here we're coming or this is what
- 8:59we want to communicate to you to provide
- 9:02a solution to all of man's problems we
- 9:04can help you out with that and then
- 9:06sometimes they even um will uh propose
- 9:10that you know that human beings
- 9:12originated for that they were were
- 9:14basically just the the spawn or the
- 9:16seeds from their having visit visited
- 9:18our planet in the past. So it's
- 9:20basically a whole supplanting of the
- 9:23Genesis narrative about man's origins
- 9:25and things of that sort. So the whole
- 9:27idea is to supplant Christianity as the
- 9:31um as the actual understanding of um
- 9:35reality ultimately.
- 9:36>> Would God have made another race
- 9:39somewhere else in the universe? Uh well
- 9:42there's two that my my view of all these
- 9:46things tends to be very complex because
- 9:48of the fact that um as an exorcist I
- 9:51follow what's called the principle of
- 9:53evidence very closely and the principle
- 9:56of evidence says that the certitude of
- 9:58our um judgment about something is based
- 10:02upon the certitude of the evidence. So
- 10:05if the evidence doesn't give us
- 10:06certitude, we can kind of arrive at a
- 10:08conclusion, but we don't have that same
- 10:10degree of certitude that you would have
- 10:11of of, you know, if you actually saw
- 10:13something or that type of thing. And so,
- 10:16uh, that being said, the, uh, if you
- 10:20actually look at the actual evidence,
- 10:24um, for the possibility of them living
- 10:26in other locations, it has to, then you
- 10:29have to address questions like, is is
- 10:32macro evolution, not micro evolution,
- 10:34but is macro evolution even possible? Is
- 10:36it scientifically possible, which is
- 10:38very problematic, theologically and
- 10:40philos theologically and
- 10:41philosophically? There's all sorts of
- 10:42problems with it. Uh the other so and
- 10:45then the reason for that is is because
- 10:47um the theory is is that if there was
- 10:49evolution here then that means there's
- 10:51evol there would be evolution in the
- 10:53other parts of the uh universe. And so
- 10:56um there would be beings that would you
- 10:58know evolve maybe before us and
- 11:00therefore be more intelligent etc. And
- 11:02so that's kind of the the scientific uh
- 11:05background that they kind of give to it.
- 11:07But the the evolution question is
- 11:09obviously a whole kind of interview on
- 11:11its own. But it's uh but that's that's
- 11:14under that's one of the um questions
- 11:16that has to actually be answered first.
- 11:18The second thing then is as I've read
- 11:22top tier uh astrophysicists who actually
- 11:25are really serious about you know not
- 11:28just um because we see something in the
- 11:30sky that we can't explain and therefore
- 11:31we conclude that they're they're from
- 11:32another planet and that's where the the
- 11:34principle of evidence is actually
- 11:36violated because in point in fact just
- 11:38because you see something you can't
- 11:39explain doesn't mean there's people in
- 11:41other planets. That's a logical leap
- 11:42that is a that's problematic. Um and
- 11:45then if the uh and then so the and then
- 11:48the abduction questions which are often
- 11:50linked to those things things um then
- 11:52also has another possible explanation
- 11:54etc. So what's happening is is that
- 11:57people are not following the principle
- 11:58of evidence closely. But when you read
- 12:00the astrophysicists
- 12:02um the top tier astrophysicists, they're
- 12:05all very uh adamant in saying that the
- 12:08energy requirements to be able to travel
- 12:10even from like one of our closest
- 12:13neighbors is so extreme that it's it's
- 12:16it's not reasonable to presume that it's
- 12:19even possible. I mean based upon the
- 12:21science and the mathematics. I mean why
- 12:24would c why would God create other
- 12:27beings anyways? I mean we he loves us so
- 12:31much.
- 12:31>> Yeah.
- 12:32>> I mean we see we I can feel the battle
- 12:35within me of good and evil. I can I can
- 12:37I can feel it. I think a lot of people
- 12:39can feel it.
- 12:40>> Yeah. In a certain sense uh
- 12:43>> and and just a caveat to that. I mean
- 12:45we're the only species on the planet
- 12:47that even is aware of its own death.
- 12:50>> That's correct. Yeah. That's
- 12:51>> why wouldn't he make another super
- 12:52intelligence here on this planet? Why
- 12:54why why would it why why
- 12:57so and therein actually lies a a a
- 13:01specific philosophical question the um
- 13:05if you actually look at there's a
- 13:07principle called the hierarchy of being
- 13:08which basically means that when God
- 13:10created the universe he created it in a
- 13:12hierarchy from the lowest thing like the
- 13:14lowest elements rocks that type of thing
- 13:16all the way up through the highest which
- 13:17is the angels at the very top and
- 13:19there's every single intermediate stage
- 13:22has some kind of a being. This is why we
- 13:23see all sorts of different kind of
- 13:25animals and that type of thing um up
- 13:27that goes up through the gradation and
- 13:29the human beings are as we read in
- 13:31scripture a little less than the angels.
- 13:33So we're the ones that bridge the gap
- 13:35between the angels and animals cuz we're
- 13:37a rational animal, right? So we're
- 13:39animals but we have rationality and
- 13:41that's why we we're the only ones that
- 13:42have knowledge of that type of thing.
- 13:44the and so what uh and then to put it in
- 13:46philosophical terms the specific
- 13:49difference that human beings have from
- 13:51other animals is precisely the fact that
- 13:53we're rational we're intelligent and we
- 13:54can know these things. Um so that's what
- 13:57makes us specifically different. If
- 13:59there are if you have other beings and
- 14:01other planets then you'd actually have a
- 14:04problem with the principle the hierarchy
- 14:05of being because you have to have two
- 14:08beings that have the same specific
- 14:10difference but they're not in the same
- 14:11species. The other part of it is too is
- 14:14and this is where the the um the real
- 14:16supplanting of Christianity occurs. I
- 14:18know there's theologians who have tried
- 14:19to argue contrary to this but it never
- 14:21washed which is basically if Adam and
- 14:24Eve were created in a state of
- 14:26perfection. Um and then that there was a
- 14:29a fall as a result of that. Then when
- 14:32Christ came he came specifically to
- 14:34redeem Adam's line or not yeah Adam's
- 14:37line his whole in fact the um the
- 14:40fathers say that where the crucifixion
- 14:42took place is directly over the tomb
- 14:44where saint where uh Adam was buried
- 14:47specifically to indicate that his was
- 14:50the spilling of his blood to redeem the
- 14:51line of Adam. And so original sin which
- 14:54was committed which we all get we all
- 14:56we're all messed up as a result of that
- 14:58is passed on through human nature. Okay.
- 15:00If that was the case then you would
- 15:02actually if that's the case
- 15:03theologically which you know we all
- 15:05believe um even Protestants recognize
- 15:07that there was this sin that they
- 15:08originally committed and now we're all
- 15:10kind of affected by it. Then what
- 15:12happens is um you would actually have
- 15:14beings in the universe intelligent
- 15:16beings that were not from the line of
- 15:17Adam but were now subject to the effects
- 15:20cuz St. Paul says that um and which we
- 15:23actually see he says the whole of
- 15:24creation groans under the weight of the
- 15:26of the sin basically of Adam. In other
- 15:29words, all of the um all of the universe
- 15:31got affected as a result of Adam's sin
- 15:35because he was the one that was placed
- 15:37in dominion over the totality of the
- 15:39naturally created order. And so when he
- 15:42fell, he took the whole created order
- 15:44with him. And that's why we see um death
- 15:47among animals. This is why we see um
- 15:49starvation even among um animals and
- 15:51things like that. So even they suffer as
- 15:52a result of that. Well, you'd actually
- 15:54have a being that didn't actually wasn't
- 15:56in that line and still be somehow
- 15:58subject to it. And so this is that
- 16:01creates a theological problem. There's
- 16:04all sorts of other issues that actually
- 16:05arise in relationship to the whole
- 16:08positing of those creatures in another
- 16:10location. The second part about it is is
- 16:13that um if if you if the fathers of the
- 16:17church so the fathers of the church are
- 16:18those that were writing from right at
- 16:21the death of the last apostles up until
- 16:22about 800 to a,000 and the reason why in
- 16:26the church we tend to pay quite a bit of
- 16:28attention to them is because they were
- 16:30so close to the time of the apostles
- 16:32that they actually had the tradition and
- 16:34certain things from the apostles it was
- 16:36still intact. So they actually
- 16:37understood um you know when the apostles
- 16:40wrote certain things in scripture what
- 16:41those things meant because they had this
- 16:43proximity of people who were still alive
- 16:45and say yeah this is what he said and
- 16:46this is what we understood by it. So
- 16:47that's why the fathers of the church are
- 16:49so key. Okay. But the fathers of the
- 16:52church um uh you know basically um uh
- 16:57make it very clear that we are basically
- 17:01human beings are the center of the moral
- 17:03universe in the sense that um even the
- 17:07angels that were created their entire
- 17:10battle which we can talk about later
- 17:12their entire creation and their entire
- 17:14battle all revolved around us ultimately
- 17:17in the end. And so you would actually
- 17:20have a situation where there's beings on
- 17:22other planets where the whole totality
- 17:24of the angelic order had nothing to do
- 17:26with them. So there's a lot of
- 17:28theological problems. And so in the end
- 17:31um this the idea that there's beings on
- 17:33other planets which by the way is not
- 17:35new. This has been around for millennia.
- 17:38This idea was wholeheartedly rejected by
- 17:40philosophers, theologians and um you
- 17:44know and even scientists in large part
- 17:46now.
- 17:50Let me tell you guys a story real quick.
- 17:53Once upon a time, there was a guy who
- 17:56joined the SEAL teams and then he went
- 17:58to CIA and he did some contracting over
- 18:01there. And one thing he learned is that
- 18:04when it comes to devices, cell phones,
- 18:07tablets, computers, pretty much
- 18:09anything, there is no privacy. When he
- 18:13got to Central Intelligence Agency, he
- 18:16had to be issued all these special
- 18:17devices like black phones
- 18:21to help protect sensitive information so
- 18:24it wouldn't get out. And then this guy
- 18:27got out of that and he started a
- 18:29podcast.
- 18:31When the podcast started, he was just
- 18:33kind of talking to former colleagues,
- 18:37people over at Central Intelligence
- 18:39Agency, former soft guys, dev group
- 18:41guys, Delta guys, and then it kind of
- 18:44developed and it turned into
- 18:47interviewing politicians, and then it
- 18:49turned into interviewing presidents and
- 18:51vice presidents,
- 18:53and then it turned into heads of state.
- 18:56And this guy through the arc of the
- 18:59podcast started really becoming
- 19:02concerned not only for his own privacy
- 19:04but also for the privacy of his team.
- 19:08They're traveling all over the world.
- 19:10And so they went on a venture and they
- 19:13were looking for a black phone, a black
- 19:16device that cannot be tracked. They
- 19:18found it. And when they found it, they
- 19:21realized how expensive that is.
- 19:24It's
- 19:26almost unaffordable.
- 19:30So that guy in the story is me.
- 19:33And so what I've done now
- 19:36is I wanted to develop an app that's
- 19:39affordable for everybody to protect you
- 19:43and your data. You see, you don't
- 19:46realize how much information is being
- 19:50exploited out of your device to track
- 19:53you, to sell your information
- 19:57and destroy your privacy. And so I
- 20:01partnered with a couple of former
- 20:03intelligence guys, NSA types,
- 20:07and we developed an app called the
- 20:09Glacier app.
- 20:11What the Glacier app is is the first
- 20:13thing that I wanted was burner numbers.
- 20:16I wanted numbers because I'm connected
- 20:18to all these different people all over
- 20:20the all over the world, state actors,
- 20:22politicians,
- 20:24people I don't trust and my number gets
- 20:27leaked. And then I start getting phone
- 20:29calls from people that I don't want
- 20:30phone calls from. Maybe for regular
- 20:34people. You're ordering a pizza, you're
- 20:36staying at a hotel, you're donating to a
- 20:39political campaign, and then you start
- 20:41getting all the spam calls, right? Well,
- 20:43[clears throat]
- 20:44now you don't have to do that. You can
- 20:46get a burner number through this
- 20:48application that we developed. The
- 20:50application's called the Glacier app.
- 20:52[gasps]
- 20:53When the relationship's done, you just
- 20:56delete the number. You pick a new one.
- 20:58You can pick any area code you want.
- 21:02That way when you burn the number,
- 21:04there's absolutely zero way for them to
- 21:06get back in contact with you. On top of
- 21:09that, we built a secure DNS. So
- 21:12basically what secure DNS is is it
- 21:14allows you to surf the web without being
- 21:16tracked. You know what I'm talking
- 21:19about? You talk about something with
- 21:21your family, maybe a product, maybe you
- 21:23want to buy some new
- 21:26piece of gear, and then the next thing
- 21:27you know, you're getting advertisements
- 21:28all over your phone for it because
- 21:30they're listening. They're exploiting
- 21:32your data and they're selling it.
- 21:34They're tracking you. So, that's what
- 21:36DNS kind of helps with. Then, we put an
- 21:39American-owned US VPN company. So, you
- 21:43see a lot of these other VPN companies
- 21:45that you think are American are owned by
- 21:47China. They're owned by Russia. They're
- 21:49owned by Israel.
- 21:52And a lot of these companies own
- 21:55several VPN, maybe 20, 30, maybe 50,
- 21:58maybe a hundred VPN companies, but it's
- 22:01all one company that owns it. And so we
- 22:05are an all-American VPN company, and we
- 22:07store no data. All the data stays on
- 22:10your device.
- 22:14It took a long time to develop this. We
- 22:16put a lot into it. It's been about a
- 22:19year and it's finally here. You've heard
- 22:21about me talking about it on the show.
- 22:23Once again, it's called the Glacier app.
- 22:25It's available at the glacierapp.com
- 22:29or on the Apple Store. Right now, it's
- 22:31only available for [snorts] iOS devices,
- 22:34but soon it will be for Android as well,
- 22:38and we'll send email updates on that.
- 22:40So,
- 22:42I want you to remember one thing.
- 22:44Privacy is not paranoia. It's
- 22:47protection.
- 22:49Once again, the glacierapp.com.
- 22:52Thank you.
- 22:55>> I think a lot of people are tracking the
- 22:57wrong things when it comes to health.
- 22:59They track steps, workouts, body weight,
- 23:03all that kind of stuff. And that stuff
- 23:05can be useful, but if you don't know
- 23:08what's happening inside your body,
- 23:10you're still missing the bigger picture.
- 23:12That's why I use Superpower. Superpower
- 23:15gives you a real look under the hood.
- 23:17One simple lab test gives you
- 23:20information on over a 100 biomarkers.
- 23:23I'm talking about things like
- 23:25cholesterol, testosterone, cortisol, and
- 23:28that's just the start. And the value is
- 23:30not just the lab test. It's what
- 23:32Superpower helps you do with the
- 23:34information. You can track your results
- 23:36over time, understand long-term trends,
- 23:39see your biological age, and get a
- 23:42personalized protocol based on your
- 23:44results. That's what makes it useful. If
- 23:46you're serious about training, recovery,
- 23:48energy, longevity, or just staying ahead
- 23:50of your health, you need more than
- 23:52surface level data. You need to know
- 23:54what's actually going on. Superpower is
- 23:56the most affordable 100 plus biomarker
- 23:59lab test starting at $199
- 24:02and it's HSA FSA eligible. Make this the
- 24:06year you stop guessing about your health
- 24:08with Superpower. For a limited time, our
- 24:11listeners get $20 off to unlock their

- 24:33Why are we so important to God? I mean,
- 24:37everything he created is for us to
- 24:40protect us,
- 24:41>> right?
- 24:43Ultimately, because to live off of. I
- 24:45mean, ev everything. We we we it seems
- 24:48that human beings. I mean, we we we're
- 24:52everything to him. Why are why us?
- 24:55>> Why are we so important? Why does he
- 24:57love us so much?
- 24:58>> Uh I think there's two reasons. One is
- 25:01because we're made in his image and that
- 25:03that image, the theological tradition is
- 25:05very clear, is because we have uh
- 25:08intelligence and free will. So he made
- 25:10us that way to be like him in that
- 25:13regard because his choice to create us
- 25:15was purely free. He didn't have to but
- 25:17he made it. So he want when he created
- 25:19us um in fact St. Augustine makes the
- 25:22observation that one of the greatest
- 25:24signs of God's omnipotence is the
- 25:27ability to create something and sustain
- 25:30it in being and even sustain its acts in
- 25:32being that has the ability to choose
- 25:34between different goods. This isn't
- 25:36determined to one thing. That's a sign
- 25:38of omnipotence. And so in us is the mana
- 25:42is his image and the manifestation of
- 25:44his glory. So if you read um the
- 25:48theologians especially like Thomas
- 25:49Aquinus he makes the observation that
- 25:53because God is goodness itself the
- 25:56proper object of God's love and will is
- 25:58himself because he's goodness itself.
- 26:01The difference is is we aren't goodness
- 26:03itself. And so for us to be make
- 26:04ourselves aren't our own objects of of
- 26:06our own love basically is disorder
- 26:08because our good. We're only good
- 26:10because we are somehow participate in
- 26:12his good. Okay. But when he creates us,
- 26:16it's called the principle of redundance.
- 26:18The good redowns to us. And so we are
- 26:20good um in many ways by virtue of the
- 26:24fact that we manifest intelligence and
- 26:25will. We can make choices. We can become
- 26:28virtuous. And so as a result of that, we
- 26:31he sees the good in us and then that's
- 26:34why he loves us because we're like him.
- 26:37[clears throat] And so his love for us
- 26:39and even when he shows his love for us
- 26:42is directly proportionate to how much
- 26:44we're like him.
- 26:57What was before
- 27:00everything? What was before angels? What
- 27:03was before us? What was
- 27:07what was before? Was was there always
- 27:09good and evil or was there just good?
- 27:12There was just good because there was
- 27:15just God. The difficulty with saying
- 27:18what was before us is is the fact that
- 27:20we're transposing time on God. So
- 27:23there's actually three states that
- 27:26beings exist in. There's what's called
- 27:28eternity which has neither a beginning
- 27:30or an end. And there's no sequence of
- 27:32events. It's just the eternal now.
- 27:35That's what God is in. And so God
- 27:37actually sees what you're doing now,
- 27:39what you did in the past, what you're
- 27:40going to do in the future. He sees
- 27:41whether you make it to heaven. He sees
- 27:43all of that at the same instance cuz
- 27:45there's no beginning or end with him.
- 27:47And so in a certain sense there's no
- 27:49before or after with God. So God who was
- 27:53in eternity um if we want to put it from
- 27:56our perspective before he created us um
- 27:58even though even that's not entirely
- 28:01accurate but God always existed. So and
- 28:04God whose goodness itself there was only
- 28:06good. Then he creates the angels um into
- 28:10what's called the aoom which has a
- 28:13beginning but it has no end. And so the
- 28:16day angels will always exist. Um when we
- 28:19die and go to heaven we enter into the
- 28:21aoom because it will never end. So we'll
- 28:23either be in heaven or we'll be in hell
- 28:25for all eternity. So there's that in
- 28:27this life. Um when he created us we he
- 28:30created us in time which is kind of a
- 28:32law or a structure which uh regulates
- 28:35the passage of matter through motion is
- 28:38basically the way the philosophers talk
- 28:39about it but it has a beginning and it
- 28:41will have an end at the final judgment.
- 28:43Okay. So before um God created the
- 28:46angels and us, he always was. And so
- 28:49that he was that there was only good.
- 28:51When he created the angels, he created
- 28:54them in a state of innocence and a state
- 28:55of perfection and also what's called the
- 28:57state of grace. That there was in their
- 29:00uh their natures or substance a
- 29:03qualitative reflection of him, a
- 29:05participation in his divine nature is
- 29:06how St. Paul describes it. But he
- 29:09created them in that state of
- 29:10perfection. And then some of them
- 29:12through their free choice chose to
- 29:14reject that and that's when evil first
- 29:16entered.
- 29:18>> How many angels are there?
- 29:20>> Do we know?
- 29:21>> Uh we don't know the exact number
- 29:23obviously but we know they're in the in
- 29:25the order of billions. And the reason we
- 29:28know that is is because um it is what
- 29:32they in theology we have various degrees
- 29:35of certaint certainty about theological
- 29:38propositions. So for example that Christ
- 29:40is God we know is part of divine
- 29:44revelation. So it's it's absolutely
- 29:46certain. But then there's some other
- 29:47things like um like this particular
- 29:49question of whether each person has
- 29:51their own guardian angel is called
- 29:53theologically certain. It's not divinely
- 29:55revealed but there's in there's
- 29:56indicators in scripture for it. So um
- 29:59and then also just through the church's
- 30:01tradition and experience of the church
- 30:03we know that each person was created for
- 30:05their own guardian angel. So if that's
- 30:07the case then that being the case the
- 30:10number of human beings that's generally
- 30:12speculated to have lived is in the about
- 30:1420 billion. So we know just in and
- 30:17there's nine hierarchies there's um
- 30:20sorry nine um choirs of angels of the
- 30:24lowest rank is the angels and each one
- 30:27of us got a guardian angel. So that
- 30:29means just in that lowest rank, just one
- 30:32subset is 20 billion. But there's more
- 30:35angels that also were given other jobs.
- 30:38And so it's literally in the billions.
- 30:40As you go up, the hierarchy becomes less
- 30:42and less number of angels in each one of
- 30:44the choirs. But we know that there are
- 30:46literally billions. The fascinating
- 30:48thing is um according to St. Thomas
- 30:52Aquinas but then also to which he bases
- 30:54it off um Suja Dionius's writings in the
- 30:57uh early church very early church within
- 30:59the first uh one or two centuries of the
- 31:01church that that entire hierarchy of
- 31:04angels was created instantaneously all
- 31:07at once
- 31:07>> instantaneously
- 31:08>> instantaneously all at once so unlike
- 31:11human beings which God you know creates
- 31:13our souls and we there's more of us that
- 31:15are created over time the whole nine
- 31:18choirs were all all of them created
- 31:21instantaneously at once. Were our souls
- 31:23all created at once?
- 31:24>> No, they're created at the time of your
- 31:26conception.
- 31:29So, your souls created and infused it at
- 31:32in you at the time of your conception.
- 31:35So, human beings, there's an ongoing
- 31:37creation in relationship to their souls.
- 31:39But angels, the totality of them were
- 31:41created all at once. How long before
- 31:43humans were there angels? Do we know
- 31:45that? uh the fathers of the church say
- 31:48that um when he created this totality of
- 31:51the angels then he immediately after
- 31:53that began the creation of in the in the
- 31:56creation account in Genesis he began the
- 31:58creation. So he first you know uh
- 32:01creates the light and things like that.
- 32:03So you have that first day is follows
- 32:05immediately upon that and then human
- 32:07beings follow after that.
- 32:13Can we talk about the hierarchy? Sure.
- 32:17What is the hierarchy?
- 32:19So the angels were created in a
- 32:22hierarchic structure and there's nine
- 32:25choirs broken into what they call ranks.
- 32:28So there's three ranks. So it's kind of
- 32:30like almost like a military in that
- 32:32sense. The very top rank is u made of
- 32:36the the seraraphim which is the very
- 32:38top. And each angel is its own species.
- 32:43And as an exorcist dealing with fallen
- 32:45angels, their personalities are so
- 32:48distinct, much more distinct than human
- 32:50personalities. And so you do get a sense
- 32:52of that they're each specifically
- 32:54different. Um, part of that has to do
- 32:56with that if with human beings and also
- 32:59with other animals, a species is
- 33:01different because of the fact that you
- 33:03you there's something about them called
- 33:05the specific difference that makes this
- 33:06species different from another one.
- 33:08That's called the specific difference.
- 33:10With human beings, we don't have a
- 33:12difference. You and I don't. We're not
- 33:14specifically different. We're both and
- 33:16what in fact in human beings the
- 33:17specific difference is rationality. You
- 33:19and I are both rational. We know we have
- 33:21we're the same species. What makes us
- 33:23different is what we call accidental
- 33:25qualities. So the fact that you're, you
- 33:27know, a bit taller than I am, bit build,
- 33:28bigger build, etc. You have different
- 33:30facial structure, etc. Your race is a
- 33:33little bit different than mine, etc. So
- 33:34there, those different qualities make us
- 33:37different as human beings. Angels don't
- 33:40have that. They don't have. So, it's
- 33:42matter specifically bodies. It's it's
- 33:45the fact that I have this body and you
- 33:47have that body which makes us different
- 33:49as human beings. Even though uh by
- 33:52different in the sense of you're one
- 33:54human being and I'm one human being, but
- 33:56we're both of the same species. Okay?
- 33:58Because angels don't have bodies. As a
- 34:01result of that, their specific
- 34:03difference is in their nature, which we
- 34:05can talk about that because that itself
- 34:06is fascinating. In fact, we can get to
- 34:08that in relationship to their fall
- 34:09because that plays a key role in their
- 34:11fall of of some of them. But that
- 34:14basically means that every single angel
- 34:16is specifically different. They're
- 34:18they're as different as say a a a
- 34:21grasshopper is from a cow. That's how
- 34:23different they are. And they're they're
- 34:26so each is is different. So those
- 34:29differences are then grouped into nine
- 34:31separate kind of categories. And that's
- 34:33the choir. And the what makes one angel
- 34:37um different from another is how
- 34:39intelligent they are. So the very top
- 34:42angel is far more intelligent. And so he
- 34:44can understand things much more
- 34:46universally, much more broadly um and
- 34:49also to much greater depth than the than
- 34:51the one that's all the way at the
- 34:52bottom. Even though the lowest angel is
- 34:54far more intelligent than us,
- 34:56nevertheless, there's this hierarchy and
- 34:58it's based on intelligence.
- 35:00An important point of that also means
- 35:02that their will is proportionate to how
- 35:04intelligent they are. So they have a
- 35:05stronger will based upon how intelligent
- 35:07they are. This is why in hell there's
- 35:09still a hierarchy based upon how strong
- 35:11of a will that they actually have. So
- 35:13Satan has the strongest will because he
- 35:15was from the cherubim which is the
- 35:16second. So the top rank is the saraphim
- 35:19and St. Thomas Aquinas says that their
- 35:21primary function and role was to simply
- 35:24love God. Their whole reason for being
- 35:27was to love him. What exactly do I mean
- 35:30what does that look like? What what is
- 35:32that? If you if you were a saraphan,
- 35:34what what is it means? What is your
- 35:36daily?
- 35:36>> Yeah. So you're hold your holy because
- 35:39because he he creates each angel with
- 35:41its own natural law, its own natural set
- 35:43of inclinations. So just as uh so for
- 35:46example, when a human being gets
- 35:47married, we have a natural inclination
- 35:48to marry when they get married, there's
- 35:50a joy that they have in the marriage,
- 35:51right? From in being married if it's a
- 35:53good marriage, of course. Um or we have
- 35:55a natural inclination to eat. So when we
- 35:56eat we we feel satisfied etc. So they
- 35:59get a fulfillment in just fulfilling the
- 36:01role or their task for which they were
- 36:04created which is their their nature. So
- 36:07for them for the saraphim it literally
- 36:09means just sitting around and
- 36:11contemplating God for all eternity. just
- 36:13contemplate and then loving him um at
- 36:16the various facets of his goodness
- 36:19because God is infinite and uh even the
- 36:22angelic in um and the angelic uh uh
- 36:26intellects are limited. It means that
- 36:29for all eternity they can be looking at
- 36:31a variety of different facets in God and
- 36:33driving joy and love and loving God,
- 36:36seeing that goodness in him for all
- 36:38eternity and it's never exhausted. And
- 36:41that's what it is for us when we get to
- 36:42heaven. Once we get to see God face to
- 36:44face, for all eternity, we'll be
- 36:46learning something new about him and the
- 36:47delight that we'll get out of that will
- 36:49bring. So for them, when they see those
- 36:51good things in God, they're naturally
- 36:53inclined to love him from that
- 36:55perspective.
- 36:56>> Would a human being ever have
- 36:57interaction with a seraraphim?
- 36:59>> Uh yes, they can at times. Uh not
- 37:02necessarily in this life. St. Thomas
- 37:04says that their their interaction with
- 37:06us is um is fairly limited and has to do
- 37:10with the scope. So the top rank deals
- 37:12with God. So the seraraphim their job is
- 37:14to love God. The cherubim their
- 37:17perfections that God gave them was to
- 37:20know God to know the various aspects of
- 37:22God. That's why if you look at the
- 37:24patterns of the psychology of Satan um
- 37:27formerly Lucifer part of Lucifer 2 which
- 37:30we can talk about his psychological
- 37:32patterns are that of a cherubim which is
- 37:34what St. Thomas talks about and the
- 37:36reason being is because for him
- 37:37everything revolves around knowledge of
- 37:39beauty. ultimately which is what he was
- 37:42created for. But then uh and seeing that
- 37:45contemplating that beauty in God. Um and
- 37:48then the next one is the throne. So the
- 37:49thrones their job is to take that
- 37:52knowledge about God and what his will is
- 37:54and then propagate that knowledge down
- 37:56through the middle rank. And so the
- 37:58middle rank is actually um their job is
- 38:03administrative. So, as an exorcist, even
- 38:05when you get demons that have fallen
- 38:07that are from that middle rank, you
- 38:09rarely see them because their job their
- 38:12that middle rank is um really about
- 38:15governance of the those below them and
- 38:18making sure everything is done right.
- 38:20So, it's basically middle management
- 38:21type of thing. And God created um three
- 38:24different choirs for that. So, you have
- 38:27the thrones, principalities, powers, and
- 38:29dominations which are in the middle. And
- 38:32then below that then is the lowest choir
- 38:35of rank of them and their jobs are the
- 38:37foot soldiers. So the top the middle
- 38:39rank the top rank contemplates God. The
- 38:42thrones tell them this is what God's
- 38:44will is. That governance process the
- 38:46commands and stuff are propagated down
- 38:48through the middle ranks and then you
- 38:49have the lowest rank that actually
- 38:51executes them. And so uh those that
- 38:55lower ranks which also includes um
- 38:56archangels and angels that lower ranks
- 38:58their job is to actually execute. So
- 39:00that's those angels are the ones that we
- 39:03will actually have interaction with more
- 39:05than likely
- 39:07>> God's special forces.
- 39:08>> Yes, exactly.
- 39:10>> Can angels [clears throat]
- 39:11advance in rank?
- 39:12>> No, because what their their rank in the
- 39:16hierarchy is fixed um well let me back
- 39:20up just a bit.
- 39:23How high you are in heaven in that
- 39:25hierarchy is directly proportionate to
- 39:27how holy you are. Human beings can
- 39:31actually take the place of fallen angels
- 39:33up through that rank by becoming holy
- 39:36very holy and then they can get a
- 39:37position that would be higher in the
- 39:39ranks in in relationship to that. So for
- 39:42example, it is the uh tradition of the
- 39:45Catholic Church to believe that our lady
- 39:47underneath Christ that underneath
- 39:49Christ, the first one is our lady. Then
- 39:51underneath them are the apostles and
- 39:53then uh also then St. Joseph, St. um
- 39:56John the Baptist, there's kind of a
- 39:58debate of who's on the top of that. Then
- 39:59the apostles and then the seraraphim. So
- 40:01they're even above the apostles are even
- 40:02above the seraraphim.
- 40:04>> Oh wow.
- 40:05>> And then other other saints because they
- 40:07become holy take the place of different
- 40:09locations. I've actually have a I have a
- 40:12case I'm working on right now that part
- 40:13of the reason this woman's case is
- 40:15dragging out is cuz she has to reach a
- 40:16level of holiness which she's getting
- 40:17there. She has to reach a level of
- 40:19holiness to take the place of one of the
- 40:21possessors that had fallen. So um we can
- 40:25human beings can actually take that.
- 40:26Okay. So what does that mean? Human
- 40:28beings because in this life we can
- 40:30perform actions that merit and therefore
- 40:33increase and raise our place in heaven.
- 40:36We can actually get a higher place in
- 40:37heaven than some of the angels. But the
- 40:40angels their holiness is directly
- 40:42proportionate to their nature. It's
- 40:44fixed. They can't merit anything. And so
- 40:47that's why they have one choice. And
- 40:49then if they make that choice, their
- 40:51rank in heaven becomes fixed based upon
- 40:53that amount of holiness that they have.
- 40:55>> So a human can can become an angel or
- 40:58they can they can
- 40:59>> they don't become an angel to the top.
- 41:01>> Yeah. They don't become an angel. They
- 41:02they get into the ranks. They go up
- 41:04through the ranks or through the choirs
- 41:06in the sense of they become holier than
- 41:09an angel and therefore they get their
- 41:11amount of holiness that they have would
- 41:13exceed those angels that are below them
- 41:15and so they're above them in the command
- 41:18structure in heaven, the authority
- 41:19structure in heaven. I've heard and I
- 41:22may have this wrong. Is there is there
- 41:24will God pick 300 humans for the end
- 41:28times to b to do his battle against
- 41:32evil? Um, I've heard that theory, but I
- 41:34have not seen the evidence to back it
- 41:36up.
- 41:36>> Okay.
- 41:37>> So, it could be. We'll we'll we'll find
- 41:39out. There are certain things we know
- 41:40about the end, like John the uh that uh
- 41:42St. Elijah and St. Enoch are going to
- 41:44return. That type of thing soon.
- 41:47Let's talk about the fall.
- 41:49>> Okay. What happened?
- 41:52So, when the angels were created there,
- 41:56so the whole hierarchy of angels is
- 41:58created at once. Now the way angels know
- 42:01things is the the exact opposite of the
- 42:04way we know things. The way we know
- 42:06something is we have to come in contact
- 42:07with the thing. We have to work with for
- 42:09a little while. Then eventually we kind
- 42:10of gain a more abstract knowledge of it
- 42:12and eventually we can kind of have a
- 42:13universal knowledge of the thing. So it
- 42:15takes us a while to actually get to the
- 42:17point where we fully understand
- 42:18something. And so and we even see this
- 42:20even when we wake up, you know, we wake
- 42:22up, it takes us a while to get fully
- 42:23functioning. And even when we're going
- 42:25to make a choice, a lot of times we have
- 42:26to go through a series of steps to kind
- 42:28of consider various things before we
- 42:30make the choice. Okay, that's because
- 42:32our knowledge comes through the senses.
- 42:33We have to be in contact with something
- 42:35and then from that we can actually know
- 42:36something about it. Um and der and we
- 42:39can also infer knowledge based upon that
- 42:41um about other things that we don't
- 42:42necessarily see etc. Okay. With angels
- 42:46their their knowledge is infused. So at
- 42:48the by God that's their mode of knowing
- 42:51St. Thomas says. So what at the first
- 42:53instance of their creation, God did two
- 42:56things. The first is he in addition to
- 42:59creating them and creating them in a
- 43:00this state of grace and state of
- 43:02perfection, he also infused in them the
- 43:04knowledge of all of the essences of
- 43:06created things. And basically what that
- 43:08means is they know exactly what a human
- 43:10being is. They know what dogs are, cats
- 43:12are. They know they know the natures of
- 43:14these things. Whereas human beings take
- 43:16a while to finally fully understand
- 43:17those things. They immediately exhaust
- 43:19everything there is to know about those
- 43:20just by thinking about them to the
- 43:22degree of their intelligence.
- 43:24>> An infinite knowledge.
- 43:25>> It's not infinite because it's still
- 43:27limited because they're limited. But
- 43:29it's they instantaneously understand
- 43:31everything that could be known about
- 43:33that thing to the degree of their
- 43:34intelligence
- 43:36instantaneously. They don't have to
- 43:37think things through. Okay. So that's
- 43:39when it comes to the natures of things.
- 43:42But but that's distinct that kind of
- 43:45knowledge of things is distinct from
- 43:47knowing this thing is going to happen at
- 43:49this point in time. Those are called
- 43:51particulars. So the ones are kind of
- 43:52called universal knowledge of things.
- 43:54The particulars are infused in them as
- 43:56they actually occur by God. So for
- 44:00example, the angels and the and the
- 44:01demons know what we are talking about as
- 44:04we talk about it because it's infused in
- 44:05their minds. So for example, if they
- 44:07want to know what's going on in another
- 44:09room, they just have to think about that
- 44:10room and then boom, they can see
- 44:12immediately what's actually there. Okay?
- 44:16When they were created
- 44:19um they were created into an act of
- 44:21knowing because they instantaneously
- 44:23exhaust what there is to know. And in
- 44:24that inst
- 44:29who they are they instantaneously saw
- 44:31their own nature and their specific
- 44:33difference. They actually understood by
- 44:35that fact that God had given them an
- 44:37assigned task. And that assigned task
- 44:40that he had given to them is who they
- 44:43are. Their n it's their very nature of
- 44:45who they are. Then um which we'll talk
- 44:48about what that means in the fall. Plus
- 44:51they were given knowledge of all the
- 44:52other angels cuz it's all infused. They
- 44:54give the knowledge of all the other
- 44:56angels and their assigned tasks. They
- 44:58were also given knowledge that God was
- 45:00eventually going to become incarnate
- 45:02through Jesus Christ. and that there
- 45:04were going to be certain human beings.
- 45:06Those who were created guardian angels
- 45:07were given knowledge of the the person
- 45:09that they were going to have to guard
- 45:11and to protect and certain aspects of
- 45:13that person's life because they would
- 45:15actually be told this is the person
- 45:17you're going to um be uh protecting and
- 45:19this is his that that this is God's will
- 45:21for him in certain respects. They didn't
- 45:23know all of it but they knew a lot of
- 45:24it. Okay. they understood. So they
- 45:28understood who they are, who the other
- 45:29angels are, what their assigned task
- 45:31was, what their um these other
- 45:33particular things and then they also
- 45:36knew who God was. And they also, St.
- 45:39Thomas says, were infused with faith,
- 45:40hope, and charity. So they actually knew
- 45:42that Jesin
- 45:44was going to become incarnate. And we we
- 45:46actually know that from scripture that
- 45:48they were given that knowledge in the
- 45:50very beginning because when Christ first
- 45:52shows up on the scene, they're like, "Is
- 45:54this the guy? Is this the guy? Is this
- 45:55guy?" And then once they see he's doing
- 45:57miracles and he's doing all this other
- 45:59stuff and the nature of his teaching,
- 46:00they realize this is the guy. He's the
- 46:02only only Christ could explain that who
- 46:05this guy, you know, cuz we were told
- 46:07that he was going to become incarnate.
- 46:08Okay. So they knew that Christ was going
- 46:11to become incarnate and then um uh and
- 46:15they also knew that God was going to
- 46:16create human beings etc. So but they
- 46:19they also knew God. They had a perfect
- 46:20knowledge of God. They had knowledge
- 46:22that he was triune because of their
- 46:24faith that God would show showed them
- 46:26that he was tri that there's God's son,
- 46:28God the Holy Spirit, and God the father
- 46:30that he was triumphed. All of that they
- 46:33saw in an instant. Wow. So they saw all
- 46:37of that and the resulting factor of that
- 46:40that they saw that intellectually
- 46:42the natural response of the will St.
- 46:44Thomas says when they saw that was
- 46:46delight. the beauty of it, the
- 46:48magnificent, the grandeur of it was just
- 46:51so magnificent that they just they were
- 46:53taken by it in their first instance. And
- 46:56so their first experience in their will,
- 46:59it wasn't their first choice cuz it was
- 47:01something which the will just naturally
- 47:03gravitated towards because it was so
- 47:05beautiful. Um that was the that's in
- 47:08their first instance of their creation
- 47:10because remember they're in the a room
- 47:11which has a sequence of events. So they
- 47:13have they have um that's the first
- 47:15instance
- 47:17because they saw that they also were
- 47:20that in that same thing they also saw if
- 47:22they were faithful they would get to see
- 47:24God face to face and be happy for all
- 47:25eternity but if they rejected God they
- 47:27would be they would be damned and hell
- 47:29miserable for all eternity so they knew
- 47:31what the punishment was going to be like
- 47:32then they have absolute clarity about
- 47:34that there's not it's not like human
- 47:35beings where sometimes it's a little
- 47:37hazy for us it was absolutely clear
- 47:40the second instance is then in the
- 47:43second instance St. Thomas says they
- 47:47looked at intellectually they could see
- 47:49the temptations what all the other
- 47:52angels were going through. Every single
- 47:54intelligent being in order to be in the
- 47:56presence of God has to go through a
- 47:57test. And the test that the angels had
- 48:00is they had they were created with a set
- 48:02of perfections but they could see higher
- 48:05perfections ab above them. And they
- 48:09could see that having those perfections
- 48:11would be actually a really good thing.
- 48:12But in order to have that perfection,
- 48:15they would have to reject their assigned
- 48:16task because it's not part of their
- 48:19nature. It's part of something else. And
- 48:21so when they saw that perfection,
- 48:24um that's at that point that they they
- 48:26had to perform an act of sacrifice. They
- 48:29either had to sacrifice the desire for
- 48:32that perfection that they saw that they
- 48:34would like to have in order to remain
- 48:36faithful to the task that God had had
- 48:39told them that they had to do. And so
- 48:42but if they were faithful to that task
- 48:44what they would get is the beatotific
- 48:46vision which is above any perfection
- 48:47that they could possibly have. And so
- 48:50that was their actual test. So that's
- 48:51>> so that created jealousy
- 48:54>> uh in a sense not in the sense that they
- 48:57had they didn't have those kinds of
- 48:59emotions that we have but they saw that
- 49:01perfection and what it would be like to
- 49:03have it would be a wonderful thing. But
- 49:05they had to be willing to sacrifice that
- 49:07lesser created good to ultimately end up
- 49:11seeing God face to face which is the
- 49:12greatest of the highest good, the
- 49:14greater good. And we can kind of return
- 49:16to it because that's the same problem we
- 49:18have with human beings, the same thing
- 49:19we live out every single day. But that
- 49:21we have to sacrifice every single day in
- 49:23order to achieve the greater good. But
- 49:25they have that they saw that greater
- 49:26good. So that's what they saw
- 49:28intellectually. So they even saw Satan's
- 49:30temptation
- 49:31and they knew or Lucifer's temptation
- 49:34and they knew that if they chose to
- 49:36reject their assigned task and have a
- 49:39and choose to just desire this thing,
- 49:41they were never going to get it but just
- 49:42to desire it. Um then they knew they
- 49:46would be under Satan. So they saw that
- 49:47whole complexity and then they made
- 49:49their choice. And so with them they're
- 49:53very different from us than human beings
- 49:55are. The reason God has mercy on human
- 49:58beings is because we're stupid.
- 50:01No, that's true. We we as human beings,
- 50:04we make decisions and then, you know,
- 50:06afterwards like, that was a mistake. I
- 50:08shouldn't have done that. And that's why
- 50:09God has mercy on us. So, if we're sorry
- 50:11for it, God will actually um, you know,
- 50:13have mercy for us. But with the angels,
- 50:15they're not stupid. They know exactly
- 50:18what they're doing and they know the
- 50:19full ramifications of it. So when they
- 50:22make their choice, their choice is allin
- 50:25and their will becomes completely fixed
- 50:27on that choice whether it's good or bad.
- 50:30And this is why even in session demons
- 50:32will say yeah it was a bad choice but
- 50:35I'd still do it again cuz their wills
- 50:37become fixed in that. So they make their
- 50:39choice and then the third instance St.
- 50:42Thomas says is because unlike human
- 50:44beings, you know, we can make stupid
- 50:47choices but then we can kind of start
- 50:48getting our act together later. God
- 50:50gives us time to work through that
- 50:52process and then at a certain point when
- 50:54we die becomes fixed and then then he
- 50:55either condemns us or he brings us into
- 50:57heaven. Um so for us it takes us time to
- 51:00work out our salvation as St. Paul says
- 51:02you know fear fear and trembling work
- 51:04out your salvation. So it takes us time
- 51:06whereas the angels it's a one-shot deal
- 51:08and so once they make that choice their
- 51:10will becomes completely fixed. And so
- 51:12St. Thomas says in the third instance
- 51:14then God levies judgment just like all
- 51:17human beings have to go before Christ
- 51:19and and and uh he judges us all of them
- 51:22were judged by the second person of the
- 51:24trinity as to what their condemnation
- 51:26would actually be or their reward in
- 51:28heaven. And so they're immediately
- 51:30damned or they're immediately u taken
- 51:32into heaven and see God immediately.
- 51:34>> How how do we know this? I mean some of
- 51:36this is not in the Bible. Correct. Uh
- 51:40yeah, some of it parts of it are not but
- 51:43parts of it actually have to do with two
- 51:46two forms of knowledge that the church
- 51:48has. The first is um saints who have had
- 51:52mystical experiences and also just the
- 51:54general working out theologically of how
- 51:56these things actually work. The second
- 51:59component has to do with the collective
- 52:01experience of exorcists for 2,000 years.
- 52:05because my experience as an exorcist is
- 52:07not any different from the exorcist in
- 52:09the first century AD. And so how demons
- 52:12talk and what their psychology is and
- 52:14what they end up revealing is consistent
- 52:16throughout those 2,000 years. So it's
- 52:18all of that kind of taken together. So
- 52:20it's theological reasoning. So if you
- 52:22read St. Thomas, it's all based on
- 52:23theological reasoning, but it's also
- 52:25based on a lot of scripture, but then
- 52:27also the mystical experiences, but then
- 52:29also just the church's collective
- 52:31experience in actually dealing with
- 52:33them. It's recorded information through
- 52:35time.
- 52:36>> Exactly.
- 52:40>> Let's go back into the fall.
- 52:41>> Okay.
- 52:42>> Did they all fall at one time?
- 52:44>> Yeah, it's all done at the inst. They
- 52:46all fall in that second instance.
- 52:48>> What did that look like?
- 52:50>> Um do we know?
- 52:52>> Uh well, scripture um the description in
- 52:55the book of Revelation is, you know, I
- 52:57saw um um Satan fall like lightning.
- 53:00[clears throat] So it was just this boom
- 53:02everything had shifted and changed
- 53:04instantaneously in the li in the in the
- 53:06experiences in the lives of the angels.
- 53:09So either the you know the the angels
- 53:11that did the good their will that chose
- 53:13to do their assigned task their will
- 53:15became fixed in the good and then of
- 53:17course they got to see God right away
- 53:18but then the angels they fell and uh
- 53:21according to the fathers of the church
- 53:22and it's actually true by the way in
- 53:24session I've told demons you know I
- 53:26command you to consider that to weaken
- 53:28them I command you to consider the the
- 53:31your first instance of delight that you
- 53:33had because that when they f that joy
- 53:36that that delight that they
- 53:38crushes them now because it's so painful
- 53:41them to consider how joyful it was in
- 53:42that moment. Um so you actually see
- 53:45these things kind of paying out and um
- 53:48but they also will some of them will
- 53:50actually under certain circumstances God
- 53:52will compel them to reveal what their
- 53:55their judgment that they underwent by
- 53:57God. And so you find out what those
- 54:00actual things actually are in
- 54:01relationship to it. So it's this massive
- 54:04shift and like lightning fallen.
- 54:10Did angels from every rank structure
- 54:12fall?
- 54:13>> Uh [gasps]
- 54:15we know from the lowest eight ranks that
- 54:18there were ones that fell from those.
- 54:21There is some debate about whether one
- 54:23fell from the the seraraphim or not.
- 54:26Thomas Aquinus says they didn't. uh a
- 54:28majority of the theologians said they
- 54:30that from that top rank they didn't fall
- 54:32but it was just the ones from cherubm on
- 54:34down
- 54:35>> because there was nothing to look up to
- 54:36other than god
- 54:38>> basically
- 54:41and say for St. Thomas, it was um that
- 54:45they saw God and their and their first
- 54:48inclination was to love him that they
- 54:51couldn't that it was because of the
- 54:54strength of their charity or love for
- 54:55God that they just did what he asked.
- 55:00>> Are there still angels falling today?
- 55:03>> Uh no. So that all the angels since
- 55:05there's no more creation of any angels
- 55:07and since they all went through that
- 55:08first three instances together um none
- 55:11of them are falling now. So they don't
- 55:13it's not like you have an angel that
- 55:14ends up later falling.
- 55:16>> Do we have numbers on each side?
- 55:18>> Uh according to the interpretation of
- 55:21the fathers based upon what's in the
- 55:23book of revelation um there's a
- 55:25reference where the dragon sweeps a
- 55:27third of the stars down by his tail.
- 55:30That has been interpreted universally by
- 55:33the Petristics that is the fathers of
- 55:35the church and also theologians
- 55:36throughout time as referring to a third
- 55:38of the angels fell. Can angels redeem
- 55:41themselves?
- 55:41>> No.
- 55:42>> Demons I mean
- 55:43>> yeah demons
- 55:44>> once their will becomes fixed in evil
- 55:46it's irreparable. It can never change.
- 55:48>> Do you think they regret it?
- 55:52>> You know it reminds me of a politician.
- 55:55You'll remember who this is. When he
- 55:56said, "I did not have sex with that
- 55:59woman so and so." He regretted getting
- 56:03caught. He didn't regret the action. And
- 56:07it's the same thing with them. They have
- 56:09remorse in the sense of it bothers them
- 56:12and they hate themselves for it and
- 56:14they're sad about the fact that they
- 56:17committed the sin and that they um and
- 56:20that they uh you know that they're going
- 56:22to be damned for all eternity and suffer
- 56:24for all eternity but they would still do
- 56:25it again. In fact, I hadn't even
- 56:27actually say that. So I said commanded
- 56:29him because I was trying to weaken this
- 56:30guy. I said so let me get this straight.
- 56:32By the way, when I put it collally, you
- 56:34know, in the interview, it's very
- 56:36structured. I'm saying I command you to
- 56:38tell me x y and z. But uh I should say
- 56:42so let me get this straight. You were
- 56:43created to have the beatotific vision.
- 56:45Yes. And you were created with this
- 56:47phenomenal perfections and the the
- 56:49ability to see this. Yes. And you saw
- 56:51that beauty in the first instance. Yes.
- 56:53And you knew that if you were faithful
- 56:54you would enjoy these things. Yes. And
- 56:56you knew if you weren't faithful that
- 56:57you would suffer this and you and this.
- 56:59Yeah. And you you're suffering this now.
- 57:01Yes. And you do it again. Yes.
- 57:05Most gear looks good until you actually
- 57:07start using it. Then you find out pretty
- 57:10quickly what holds up and what doesn't.
- 57:13That's why I keep coming back

- 58:39Did God know that was going to happen?
- 58:41Did God know the fall would happen?
- 58:43>> Yes. Because he's outside of time.
- 58:46>> Why did he allow the fall? Is the fall
- 58:49ultimately the test of the human being?
- 58:53Uh well, we we are all tested.
- 58:55>> They're the ones that influence our
- 58:56mind. Correct.
- 58:57>> It's Let me ask you this. Would you want
- 59:00to be around someone who you forced to
- 59:02love you?
- 59:04>> No.
- 59:04>> No. You want someone who wants to love
- 59:06you and chooses it on their own. It's
- 59:08the same with God. God created us with
- 59:10free will. And in order to have that
- 59:14free will, he allows us the certain
- 59:16percentage of people to fall uh both
- 59:19human beings and angels to fall and
- 59:21reject with him for the greater good
- 59:24which is those who are faithful who
- 59:27voluntarily chose to love him.
- 59:33>> How did they gain access to our mind?
- 59:36>> Um okay. So the basic way it works is
- 59:40their very nature is designed their
- 59:42wills are structured in such a way that
- 59:44they can move matter by its n by their
- 59:46nature. And so that means that they can
- 59:48move things within us um uh because our
- 59:53uh part of our brain our intellect is is
- 59:55material not all of it but part of it is
- 59:57actually material um the brain
- 59:59basically. And so they can actually act
- 1:00:01upon it.
- 1:00:05Let's go back to human sacrifice a
- 1:00:07little bit. I mean,
- 1:00:10spent a couple days here. We talked
- 1:00:12about my past experiences.
- 1:00:14We've done some serious work here. And
- 1:00:16I've realize that the battle is in is in
- 1:00:18your mind for your soul.
- 1:00:19>> That's right.
- 1:00:20>> And I mean, Christ himself was human
- 1:00:24sacrifice.
- 1:00:25>> That's right. And so if the battle is
- 1:00:29within your mind and demons have access
- 1:00:31to your mind and angels have access to
- 1:00:32your mind and I mean suicide is a human
- 1:00:35sacrifice, abortion's a human sacrifice.
- 1:00:38>> Going to war is human sacrifice. All
- 1:00:41these I mean all these everything seems
- 1:00:44to come down to human sacrifice.
- 1:00:47>> That's right.
- 1:00:50>> Why is the human sacrifice so important?
- 1:00:53What what what what does it represent?
- 1:00:55What what why is it happening?
- 1:00:58>> Thomas Aquinus makes an observation
- 1:01:00which is right along what you were
- 1:01:01saying. He said the ultimate thing that
- 1:01:04God wants from every intelligent
- 1:01:06creature this would include angels and
- 1:01:07and men. He said the ultimate thing that
- 1:01:09he wants from every intelligent creature
- 1:01:11is the sacrifice of his will that is
- 1:01:14ours to his will to God's will. And the
- 1:01:18reason being has to do with this. So
- 1:01:21I'll explain the theological structure
- 1:01:24of it and then I'm going to talk about a
- 1:01:25case I had that um that that all
- 1:01:28revolved specifically around sacrifice.
- 1:01:32So the uh in every sacrifice there's
- 1:01:36three components. We learned God taught
- 1:01:38us what sacrifice was in the Old
- 1:01:40Testament. So in the with the Jews he
- 1:01:42said this is exactly how you're supposed
- 1:01:45to do it. So it in relationship to God
- 1:01:47sacrifice which we offer to him has to
- 1:01:49follow a very distinctive structure
- 1:01:51because if any one of these elements are
- 1:01:53missing it's not a true sacrifice. And
- 1:01:55so he said this is exactly how you're
- 1:01:57supposed to do it. Christ himself also
- 1:01:59said you um when he uh did the the holy
- 1:02:02sacri first mass the holy sacrifice of
- 1:02:04the mass on on um on uh good on Monday
- 1:02:08Thursday he said do this in
- 1:02:11commemoration of me. So he's being very
- 1:02:12specific about how they're supposed to
- 1:02:14do it. Okay. And that's because if we
- 1:02:16don't, human beings are stupid, you
- 1:02:17know, and we're going to mess it up. So
- 1:02:19the first component is of a sacrifice is
- 1:02:22offeratory. [cough] And basically what
- 1:02:24[clears throat] the offeratory is, it's
- 1:02:25a setting apart of what I'm offering to
- 1:02:28God apart from me and apart from profane
- 1:02:31or sacred or uh profane use. And that
- 1:02:34has two components. The first is there
- 1:02:36has to be some good that I have that I'm
- 1:02:39willing to be separated from. This was
- 1:02:42the line of demarcation between the
- 1:02:44sacrifice of Abel and the sacrifice of
- 1:02:46Cain. Abel gave the best that he had and
- 1:02:51so he he retained nothing for himself in
- 1:02:54that process. Whereas Cain kept the best
- 1:02:57for himself and gave God a sacrifice of
- 1:02:59something that was good but not his
- 1:03:01best. And as a result of that the second
- 1:03:04the second part of it is yeah so you you
- 1:03:06have to be willing to be separated from
- 1:03:08the particular good and you have to be
- 1:03:10willing to give it to God in that very
- 1:03:12process you are actually achieving the
- 1:03:16greater good. Okay, that is a key
- 1:03:18element of sacrifice that in us being
- 1:03:21willing to be separated from the lesser
- 1:03:23good and giving it to God, a greater
- 1:03:25good is accomplished in in just in that
- 1:03:28process itself, we become better as
- 1:03:31human beings just in the offering of the
- 1:03:33just in that offering of it to him. And
- 1:03:35so, but there has to be that perfect
- 1:03:37willing to detach from that lesser good
- 1:03:41in order to for the greater good. So,
- 1:03:42let me give you an example. The guy who
- 1:03:45goes off to war, the lesser good
- 1:03:48ironically is his own life. The greater
- 1:03:51is he's willing to offer his life for
- 1:03:53what? For our good. The common good of
- 1:03:55the country. And in that process, the
- 1:03:58greater good that he achieves in that
- 1:04:00the excellence that he achieves in that
- 1:04:02is perfection and justice. And as a
- 1:04:05result of that, he gets honor. So that
- 1:04:08honor is one of the greatest things that
- 1:04:10human beings can achieve. It's better to
- 1:04:12die in honor than to die in dishonor for
- 1:04:15example. And so he has to be willing to
- 1:04:17give up his own life for the sake of
- 1:04:19achieving the greater good. So that
- 1:04:21offeratory component is really key. So
- 1:04:23you have to be willing up to give the
- 1:04:25lesser good in order to achieve the
- 1:04:26greater good. That's the first element.
- 1:04:29The second thing is there is the slaying
- 1:04:32of the victim. So if you look at Christ,
- 1:04:33let's back up in Christ his offeratory
- 1:04:36was not my will but thine be done. So he
- 1:04:38did it at the mount olives. He was
- 1:04:40willing to offer up his own life for the
- 1:04:42sake of the greater good was our
- 1:04:44salvation. And so he was willing to
- 1:04:46offer that up. And so that's why he told
- 1:04:48God, "Not my will but thine be done."
- 1:04:50Okay? So that's the offatory. Then
- 1:04:52there's the slaying of the victim. So in
- 1:04:54Christ's case, that's the the passion
- 1:04:56and death of our Lord. And then the last
- 1:04:58part of it is the consummation. You
- 1:05:00actually the the victim has to be
- 1:05:03completely consumed in the process
- 1:05:06because if it's not, then there's still
- 1:05:08something we're retaining for ourselves.
- 1:05:09So the person has to be willing to
- 1:05:10completely die to themselves entirely.
- 1:05:13And how do we know that Christ did that?
- 1:05:15Well, he himself even said it right
- 1:05:16before he died. Consummat it is
- 1:05:18consummated.
- 1:05:20What did that actually mean? It meant
- 1:05:23that um and the saint um Isaiah talks
- 1:05:27about this St. Paul also talks about it
- 1:05:29that the the Messiah had to go through a
- 1:05:32series of sufferings in order to merit
- 1:05:36for us the the what was necessary for
- 1:05:39the perfection in all aspects of our
- 1:05:41lives. And so he he was he was for
- 1:05:44example the reason he wore the crown of
- 1:05:46thorns is in order to undo Adam's sin in
- 1:05:49relationship to eating the fruit when he
- 1:05:51should not have. And then God gave him
- 1:05:52the punishment of you have to work in
- 1:05:54thorns and in pain. So Christ's
- 1:05:57suffering was to undo all of that. Okay.
- 1:06:00So the sacrifice then basically means
- 1:06:03that in the end the reason God wants
- 1:06:06sacrifice from all of us is because he
- 1:06:08wants for us to achieve the greater good
- 1:06:11and not be satisfied with the lesser
- 1:06:13good. He wants that's it's a call to the
- 1:06:16greater good. Okay. That being said, so
- 1:06:20I I had this case where the uh it kept
- 1:06:25revolving around our lady under the
- 1:06:28title of mirror of justice. Now the
- 1:06:31reason that uh the mirror of justice,
- 1:06:34the reason that was so key and the
- 1:06:35reason it had a correlation to sacrifice
- 1:06:38is because of the fact that um under the
- 1:06:41virtue of justice is the virtue of
- 1:06:43religion. So justice is where I render
- 1:06:45someone their due. So if you if I say
- 1:06:47hey go mow my lawn I'll pay you 50 bucks
- 1:06:49if you mow the lawn I injustice I have
- 1:06:51to give you 50 bucks okay underneath
- 1:06:53that is the virtue of religion where we
- 1:06:55render god is due okay what did god do
- 1:06:58for us he creates us he keeps us in
- 1:06:59being everything that we do can do all
- 1:07:01of that he caused and so literally there
- 1:07:04is nothing in us to which we don't owe
- 1:07:07back to him so ultimately we have to
- 1:07:09render ourselves imperfection before him
- 1:07:11that's our goal okay so uh um Okay. So
- 1:07:17that being the the case then in
- 1:07:19relationship to justice underneath um
- 1:07:21justice is the virtue of religion.
- 1:07:22Underneath the virtue of religion are
- 1:07:24four acts but one of those acts is to
- 1:07:27offer sacrifice to God because that
- 1:07:28sacrifice is doing what? Giving the best
- 1:07:31that we have. So as I mentioned we have
- 1:07:34to render back to him everything what is
- 1:07:36perfect. Well what do we do in order to
- 1:07:38show that as a sign? We render back to
- 1:07:40him the best in us. The thing that we
- 1:07:43love the most we have to give back to
- 1:07:44him. Okay. And so that's what he's
- 1:07:47ultimately looking for. Now, by the way,
- 1:07:48it doesn't mean that in that process
- 1:07:50when we give it to him that he doesn't
- 1:07:52reward us or that he doesn't take care
- 1:07:53of the thing that we offer to him, etc.
- 1:07:56It just means that that's what he wants
- 1:07:57us to give it to him. Okay?
- 1:08:01In this case, so the any time this demon
- 1:08:05would manifest when I was saying mass
- 1:08:07because we'd start the sessions with a
- 1:08:09mass. Anytime the demon would manifest,
- 1:08:12it's because God had told him he had to
- 1:08:14tell me something. So during this mass,
- 1:08:16be is the title, which is another name
- 1:08:18for Satan. He manifests during mass. I
- 1:08:21finished mass. Okay. So then we start
- 1:08:24the sessions. As soon as Bezbub
- 1:08:26manifested, I said to him, he told me,
- 1:08:29he told you you had to tell me
- 1:08:30something, didn't he? He was so angry
- 1:08:35that he could not even look at me. He
- 1:08:37was so angry. So then I said to him,
- 1:08:40"Shut up. You are not permitted to
- 1:08:42talk." Now there's a reason I did that.
- 1:08:44One is is because I don't want him
- 1:08:46telling me based upon when he thinks
- 1:08:48it's time. He has to realize I'm the guy
- 1:08:50in charge. And a lot of that is just to
- 1:08:51maintain the authority structure cuz
- 1:08:53they're constantly trying to get into
- 1:08:54the driver's seat. The second thing is
- 1:08:56is it's normal spiritual warfare. This
- 1:08:59is a stout adversary. And so just as we
- 1:09:02would in normal warfare, you would just
- 1:09:04bomb them for a while first to soften up
- 1:09:06the situation. then you'd send in the
- 1:09:08ground troops. He's the same way. If you
- 1:09:10try and ask him the question right off
- 1:09:12the bat, he's going to hold tight and
- 1:09:13you're not going to get anywhere. So,
- 1:09:14you don't want to send the troops in
- 1:09:16first. You want to bomb him first. So,
- 1:09:17what I did is I basically punished him
- 1:09:19for 45 minutes. And at the end of that
- 1:09:2245 minutes, I said to him, I said, "You
- 1:09:25have something you have to tell me." And
- 1:09:26he said, "He told me I have to tell you
- 1:09:29my nature."
- 1:09:31Now, what that means is his assign, we
- 1:09:34already knew what his assigned task was.
- 1:09:36It was to enlighten both our lady and
- 1:09:38our minds. Lucifer's original scientist.
- 1:09:41The reason he was called Lucifer is
- 1:09:43because that mean comes from the Latin
- 1:09:45words Luke's fairy which means to bear
- 1:09:47light. His job was to enlighten our
- 1:09:50minds to to get us to see the necessity
- 1:09:53and the good in offering sacrifice. That
- 1:09:56was his original assigned task. And so
- 1:10:00um when he told he said he told me I
- 1:10:02have to tell you my nature. I said let's
- 1:10:03hear it. Now when they chose to to
- 1:10:06reject their assigned task, you have to
- 1:10:09remember that's who they are. And that
- 1:10:11meant that in their choice, it was a
- 1:10:13perfect act of selfhatred.
- 1:10:15And they refused to do that function
- 1:10:18that God had told them. So what they
- 1:10:20chose then is the opposite of that
- 1:10:22assigned task. And so what he does is to
- 1:10:25thwart sacrifice. But this is where it
- 1:10:27becomes key. [snorts]
- 1:10:29He just looks at me dead pan, which is
- 1:10:31gives an indicator he's probably telling
- 1:10:32the truth. Then and as we started
- 1:10:34unpacking it later theologically
- 1:10:35realized this is probably true. Um
- 1:10:38because some people will say well demons
- 1:10:39lie all the time but not always.
- 1:10:41Sometimes they're compelled to tell the
- 1:10:42truth and he said
- 1:10:46I convince people. So this is part of
- 1:10:49the cherubim. He's part of the cherubim
- 1:10:50which is an intellectual function. He
- 1:10:54says I convince people. So in us it's an
- 1:10:56intellectual conviction that he con puts
- 1:10:58in our minds. I convince people that
- 1:11:01they cannot be separated from the
- 1:11:05particular good. Okay, that's ex and so
- 1:11:10I I I stood back and I said that's a
- 1:11:12whopper cuz he knew I knew the structure
- 1:11:14of sacrifice the remember in offatory
- 1:11:18you have to be willing to be separated
- 1:11:20from a particular good in order to give
- 1:11:21it to God and that means when he
- 1:11:24convinces people I can't be separated
- 1:11:26from this thing that's how he subverts
- 1:11:28the remainder part of the sacrifice
- 1:11:30where we're willing to die to oursel all
- 1:11:31the way to the end and so he knew that's
- 1:11:34so I realized that's how he ended
- 1:11:37sacrifice. And then he just looks at me
- 1:11:39and says, "It's how I took Adam and Eve
- 1:11:41out. It's how I'm taking your church
- 1:11:42out. It's how I took your government
- 1:11:44out." He said, "It's at the root of
- 1:11:46every sin and every defect that every
- 1:11:48human being has." And later he said it's
- 1:11:51the cause of mediocrity in every single
- 1:11:53human being which is absolutely true
- 1:11:56because in virtue when we're striving
- 1:11:59for virtue which is the greater good to
- 1:12:01perfect ourselves in some particular
- 1:12:02aspect which is the greater good we have
- 1:12:05to be willing to be separated from
- 1:12:06certain things just just take
- 1:12:08temperance. If I want to gain temperance
- 1:12:11to to master the virtue of fasting, for
- 1:12:13example, I have to be willing to put
- 1:12:15aside the lesser good of the pleasure I
- 1:12:18get out of food in order to achieve this
- 1:12:19greater good.
- 1:12:22>> Makes sense.
- 1:12:23When do they gain access to our minds?
- 1:12:26Uh we talk about the innocence of
- 1:12:29children and and and the pure love that
- 1:12:31they can give us.
- 1:12:33>> Yeah. And then at some point in time,
- 1:12:36everybody loses it.
- 1:12:37>> That's right.
- 1:12:39It's ultimately um
- 1:12:42when God allows it. So in the spiritual
- 1:12:45warfare there's kind of a
- 1:12:47misunderstanding. People have this idea
- 1:12:48that demons get you just a marad and do
- 1:12:50whatever they want. When St. um Peter
- 1:12:53said be wa be um wa sober and watchful
- 1:12:56for the lion goes around seeking someone
- 1:12:59to devour it doesn't mean he gets to
- 1:13:01hammer anybody he wants. It means he's
- 1:13:04constantly watching us. That's the going
- 1:13:06around. He's constantly watching to see
- 1:13:07where the weaknesses are and where he
- 1:13:09could take us out and then he might test
- 1:13:11or probe and if God lets him go in then
- 1:13:13he goes in. But it's but it means that
- 1:13:16the spiritual warfare um the entire
- 1:13:20battlefield is completely controlled by
- 1:13:22Christ. So even the demons can't do
- 1:13:25anything in relationship to us unless
- 1:13:26Christ gives them permission. So Christ
- 1:13:29is the one who allows them access at
- 1:13:31certain points. And the reason he allows
- 1:13:33us access to us is to test us. Will you
- 1:13:36sacrifice for me?
- 1:13:38>> Is it through flaws in the world like
- 1:13:41pornography? Yeah. I mean, kids are
- 1:13:43saying pornography at age eight.
- 1:13:45>> Yeah,
- 1:13:46>> probably earlier.
- 1:13:47>> Yeah, that's it.
- 1:13:50>> And then that creates a
- 1:13:52a some type of a desire.
- 1:13:55>> That's right. A disordered desire for
- 1:13:57it. Yeah. Uh part of it also has to do
- 1:14:00with the fact that um demons can
- 1:14:04actually use that to inspire other
- 1:14:05people to expose other people or kids or
- 1:14:07something like that to to things that
- 1:14:10are evil. I've actually had a case where
- 1:14:12um the demons would drive people around
- 1:14:14this woman in order to victimize her. So
- 1:14:17they can actually that type of thing can
- 1:14:19happen. Um but it's not that common.
- 1:14:21Usually what they'll do is they'll use
- 1:14:22other people to introduce bad things
- 1:14:25into the person's life and then the
- 1:14:26person because of fallen human nature we
- 1:14:29have a proclivity towards like let's
- 1:14:31just take pornography we have a
- 1:14:33proclivity towards what we call
- 1:14:34concupisence which is a desire for
- 1:14:37pleasure that's immodderate and
- 1:14:39disordered and so um if we don't do
- 1:14:42things and this is where parent parental
- 1:14:44formation and virtue um and getting them
- 1:14:46the sacraments and things like that aids
- 1:14:48the children in being faithful to that
- 1:14:51so that they can actually combat that
- 1:14:52particular aspect of our of our fall,
- 1:14:54our original sin that we kind of
- 1:14:56inherited as a result of that. Um then
- 1:14:59what the demons do is they can play on
- 1:15:01that disordered inclinations that we
- 1:15:02have and then start just driving it. Do
- 1:15:05you think that successful exorcisms
- 1:15:08could be miracles? I mean, and the
- 1:15:12reason I ask is we we we talked about
- 1:15:14the last several weeks of my life and
- 1:15:16and some of the things that I've
- 1:15:17experienced here that I don't want to go
- 1:15:18into yet. Maybe maybe at another time,
- 1:15:21but you know, with with with with what I
- 1:15:23did experience
- 1:15:25and how real it was in the end, no
- 1:15:29matter how terrifying it was,
- 1:15:33it only strengthened
- 1:15:35Yes.
- 1:15:35>> my faith in Christ and God and the Holy
- 1:15:38Spirit immensely.
- 1:15:40>> Yeah. Immensely.
- 1:15:42One of the things that you learn as an
- 1:15:44exorcist is what Christ said you you
- 1:15:46know he said count he's gone to the
- 1:15:48apostles count yourself as useless
- 1:15:50instruments when you're as an exorcist
- 1:15:52you can pray and pray and pray until the
- 1:15:54cows come home but if Christ doesn't do
- 1:15:56step in and actually cause liberation
- 1:15:58nothing happens demons have actually
- 1:16:00said to me he says you can't make me do
- 1:16:01anything which is actually true as a
- 1:16:03human being I can't make any demon do
- 1:16:04anything but then my retort to them is
- 1:16:07but he can and so he uses us as
- 1:16:09instruments to basically afflict the
- 1:16:12demon to punish him to a certain point
- 1:16:14and then it's at that point that Christ
- 1:16:15steps in and Christ causes a liberation.
- 1:16:18So one time I was asked in a public
- 1:16:20venue, how many people have you
- 1:16:21liberated? And I said, none. But I've
- 1:16:24been in the presence of liberations
- 1:16:27where Christ and I've, you know, done my
- 1:16:28work as an exorcist. And then Christ is
- 1:16:30the one who liberates. And so um that
- 1:16:34liberation is both an act of mercy, but
- 1:16:37also one of the things that people very
- 1:16:39often don't quite understand about this,
- 1:16:41they know possession is the worst thing.
- 1:16:43Actually, possession is not the worst
- 1:16:44thing. The worst thing is sin, mortal
- 1:16:48sin specifically, where you've committed
- 1:16:49such a grave sin that you're under the
- 1:16:50power of the demons from your from from
- 1:16:52[snorts] a legal point of view. Whereas
- 1:16:54possession is not necessarily the worst
- 1:16:56thing. In fact, possession, especially
- 1:16:58when it when the if it kind of protracts
- 1:17:00for any length of time, it actually the
- 1:17:02people become holier through the battle,
- 1:17:04through the struggle. You know, it's
- 1:17:06like a guy who goes off to, you know,
- 1:17:07there's a big difference between a
- 1:17:09soldier who's never seen combat and one
- 1:17:10who has. And so this is the and and the
- 1:17:13whereas the guy who's seen the combat,
- 1:17:15he's much more fashioned, much more
- 1:17:17honed than the guy that maybe went
- 1:17:18through a lot of good training and could
- 1:17:20be could be a good shoulder, but he just
- 1:17:21didn't have that opportunity. Well, it's
- 1:17:23the same thing here. When people go
- 1:17:25through just the brutal battle and the
- 1:17:27type of thing, the amount of sacrifice
- 1:17:29and self-denial and everything that they
- 1:17:30have to go through and the virtue that
- 1:17:33they have to achieve in order to conquer
- 1:17:34this thing is uh quite admirable.
- 1:17:40Do angels have access to our mind?
- 1:17:43>> They do. God permitting.
- 1:17:45>> What does that look like?
- 1:17:47>> So the angels can do actually two things
- 1:17:51in relationship to us. The first is um
- 1:17:56they can put an image in our imagination
- 1:17:58and even put a perspective on that image
- 1:18:01just as the demons can do the same
- 1:18:02thing. So the demons can not only just
- 1:18:04put an image in your imagination cuz we
- 1:18:06get these get thoughts where did this
- 1:18:07come from right but they can even put a
- 1:18:09perspective on like this would be really
- 1:18:11good right and this is why sometimes
- 1:18:13people will come to me like normal men
- 1:18:15normal heterosexual men will come to me
- 1:18:18and they'll say I had this bizarre
- 1:18:21experience where I was in this situation
- 1:18:23and I had this thought of pedophilia and
- 1:18:26I had this kind of like inclination of
- 1:18:27the good that's not your that's not your
- 1:18:29that's not your junk right that's not
- 1:18:31you demons can make anything look
- 1:18:35appealing. One exorcist contacted me
- 1:18:37recently cuz he had kind of gone through
- 1:18:38that type of thing. He was working with
- 1:18:40this one woman who by any stretch of the
- 1:18:42imagination was not good-looking
- 1:18:43whatsoever. But when she walked in the
- 1:18:45door during one of the sessions, the
- 1:18:47demons skewed his perceptions and his uh
- 1:18:51in relationship to it. And he said he
- 1:18:53looked at her and he he felt this
- 1:18:54inclination like she's just beautiful.
- 1:18:57And then he realized intellectually he
- 1:18:59was like that ain't true. And so he just
- 1:19:01stopped, did some prayers, broke it, and
- 1:19:03then when he looked at her again, he
- 1:19:05says, "Ugliest sin." Right? So the point
- 1:19:07being is they can get that perspection
- 1:19:10perspective. The angels can also do the
- 1:19:12same thing because perceptions
- 1:19:16uh are either in congruity with reality
- 1:19:19or they're not. For example, let's just
- 1:19:21take transgenderism.
- 1:19:23People's perceptions about who they are
- 1:19:25may or may not be. If you're, you know,
- 1:19:27if you're normal heterosexual male, say,
- 1:19:28"Hey, I'm a male and this is my, well,
- 1:19:30then my perceptions are in congruity
- 1:19:32with reality." But if I'm some dude who
- 1:19:34thinks he's a woman, your perceptions
- 1:19:35aren't in congruity with reality. And
- 1:19:37so, demons are constantly trying to put
- 1:19:39perspectives on it that either
- 1:19:41exaggerate or skew or falsify your
- 1:19:43perception of reality. Whereas the good
- 1:19:45angels can actually do the opposite.
- 1:19:47They can put perspectives on the
- 1:19:49imagination and then in and uh so that
- 1:19:52you get a greater perception of this is
- 1:19:54the truth of the matter. This is the
- 1:19:56reality of it. So, one of the ways that
- 1:19:58you'll notice that is you'll get a bit
- 1:19:59of clarity in a situation. All of a
- 1:20:01sudden, you'll see perspective and like,
- 1:20:02okay, that's the that's how this is
- 1:20:04actually done. The one thing that angels
- 1:20:07can do, which demons never do, is the
- 1:20:10angels can then so there's three parts
- 1:20:12of our intellect. I'm not going to go
- 1:20:13into all three, but there's two parts
- 1:20:14that I want to talk about. The first is
- 1:20:16the brain. That's the image part. And
- 1:20:18they can put a perspective. They can
- 1:20:19affect that. But then there's a part of
- 1:20:21our intellect that's entirely m im
- 1:20:23immaterial. And the reason we know that
- 1:20:26for example is when we die then people
- 1:20:29in heaven you know you hear about these
- 1:20:31with people who actually die and they
- 1:20:32they actually go through a judgment and
- 1:20:34they might see Christ and that type of
- 1:20:35thing. Their intellect is functioning
- 1:20:37independently of their body. So we know
- 1:20:40there's a part of the intellect that's
- 1:20:41in part of that. There's also certain
- 1:20:43operations that we perform like ability
- 1:20:45to self-reflect upon ourselves that we
- 1:20:48know that there's a part of our
- 1:20:49intellect that's impurely immaterial
- 1:20:50that can function independently of
- 1:20:52matter. This is why animals, even apes,
- 1:20:55don't have that same kind of
- 1:20:56self-reflection. Even when they see
- 1:20:57themselves in the mirror, it's kind of a
- 1:20:59fascination to them because but that's
- 1:21:01all at the level of the material. But
- 1:21:03whereas human beings, we have this. But
- 1:21:05the angels can actually that immaterial
- 1:21:07part of us is has the ability to make
- 1:21:10judgments about things that something's
- 1:21:12right or true or that type of thing. How
- 1:21:14do we know that? We can have I'll give
- 1:21:17you an example. a guy, his wife, when he
- 1:21:21first gets married, his perspective on
- 1:21:23her is she's wonderful, she's lovely, I
- 1:21:25love her, she's just such a great wife,
- 1:21:27she's beautiful, etc. And his
- 1:21:29intellectual judgment is the same as
- 1:21:31that.
- 1:21:33But then what can happen is is that over
- 1:21:36the course of the marriage, bad things
- 1:21:37happen and so his perspective on her
- 1:21:39begins to change and then also does his
- 1:21:41judgment changes. But he can make a
- 1:21:44choice to change his judgment about
- 1:21:46that. Like if he starts thinking his
- 1:21:48wife is really bad and nasty, she may or
- 1:21:51may not be. He can start making a choice
- 1:21:53of, you know what, I'm going to start
- 1:21:54I'm not going to judge her that she's
- 1:21:55that bad. I think she's ultimately a
- 1:21:57woman of goodwill. It's just that I'm
- 1:21:59suffering in relationship to her. That
- 1:22:00means I got to shore up stuff on my
- 1:22:02part. So I can make a judgment or I can
- 1:22:04make a choice to start looking at her,
- 1:22:06judging her differently. So that's one
- 1:22:09of the Okay, why is that important?
- 1:22:12Because angels can strengthen. It's
- 1:22:15called illumination. And they can
- 1:22:16illuminate the mind, that immaterial
- 1:22:19part, so that when we make that act of
- 1:22:21judgment, we see it with much greater
- 1:22:23clarity and strength and depth. And so
- 1:22:26they can enlighten our minds. And so you
- 1:22:28can ask them, you know, give me good
- 1:22:29images and then help me to see, help me
- 1:22:32to enlighten my mind in relationship to
- 1:22:34it. The fathers of the church actually
- 1:22:37say it was the angels who taught the
- 1:22:39Greeks philosophy, people like Aristotle
- 1:22:40and Plato. That's why there's such a
- 1:22:42radical shift in their philosophy from
- 1:22:44the materialists to Plato and then to
- 1:22:46Aristotle.
- 1:22:49>> What rank structure of the angels
- 1:22:53is putting images and and clarity into
- 1:22:55our mind?
- 1:22:56>> Uh primarily those of the rank of angel,
- 1:22:59the various lowest,
- 1:23:00>> the guardian angel,
- 1:23:01>> the guardian angels,
- 1:23:02>> archangels,
- 1:23:04>> uh the archangels can at time uh they
- 1:23:06can also do it as well. It depends. Uh
- 1:23:09there are certain people according to
- 1:23:11the fathers of the church that their
- 1:23:13stature in life is so important that God
- 1:23:16intends for their particular life that
- 1:23:17he actually not only that he actually
- 1:23:19will assign um angels that are higher in
- 1:23:22the hierarch cuz what rank or what how
- 1:23:24high in the hierarchy of angels your
- 1:23:26angel is is dependent how important
- 1:23:29you're supposed to be in human history
- 1:23:31they say and so but there are certain
- 1:23:33people um that God will actually assign
- 1:23:37um a an archangel to to guard them at
- 1:23:39least while they're fulfilling that
- 1:23:41role. So like people in positions of
- 1:23:42political power are generally considered
- 1:23:44that priests, bishops, that type of
- 1:23:46thing are given guardian angel, an
- 1:23:49archangel in order for relationship to
- 1:23:51that. If they if they if there's a
- 1:23:53particular function that they're going
- 1:23:54to play in relationship to us as human
- 1:23:56beings that's extremely important, they
- 1:23:57come from the rank of archangels. So
- 1:23:59Gabriel, Michael, um Raphael were
- 1:24:02considered part of the archangel.
- 1:24:07Let's take a quick break.
- 1:24:11>> I'm excited to introduce to you the
- 1:24:13newest member of my family. We call him
- 1:24:16Stanley. We got Stanley this past
- 1:24:19Christmas and pretty quickly my focus
- 1:24:21became making sure he was safe while
- 1:24:23still giving him the freedom to actually
- 1:24:26be a dog. I went looking for the top
- 1:24:28rated GPS fence, the number one, and
- 1:24:31that's how I found SpotOn. Stanley,
- 1:24:35wears their Nova collar. With Spoton, I
- 1:24:38set up a GPS fence for Stanley right on
- 1:24:41my phone. No physical fence, no leash. I
- 1:24:45just walk my property line or draw it on
- 1:24:47the map, and that's the boundary the
- 1:24:49collar recognizes. I can create multiple
- 1:24:51fences, save them, and adjust them
- 1:24:54whenever I need to. So whether we're at
- 1:24:57home or traveling, Stanley always knows
- 1:25:00where his boundaries are. Another thing
- 1:25:02that stood out to me is these collars
- 1:25:04are designed right here in the USA and
- 1:25:06assembled in New Hampshire by a team
- 1:25:08that's been working with high precision
- 1:25:10GPS technology for years. And you can
- 1:25:13tell a lot of attention went into making
- 1:25:16this thing reliable. The Nova Collar
- 1:25:18uses a dualband GPS system connected to
- 1:25:21more than 150 satellites along with an
- 1:25:24antenna that's over five times larger
- 1:25:27than typical GPS fence collars that
- 1:25:29keeps the boundary accurate even around
- 1:25:32trees, terrain, and changing conditions.
- 1:25:36Spot-on's True Location technology has
- 1:25:38been independently tested and delivers
- 1:25:4199.3%
- 1:25:43containment, which matters when you're
- 1:25:45trusting something with your dog safety.
- 1:25:47It's incredibly durable, and on top of
- 1:25:50that, I can check his location in real
- 1:25:52time, send voice commands directly to
- 1:25:55the collar, and track his activity
- 1:25:58through the day. I use Spoton so Stanley
- 1:26:01gets the freedom to run and explore and
- 1:26:04I get the peace of mind knowing he's
- 1:26:06safe. Let your dog roam with Spot-On. Go
- 1:26:10to spot-onfence.com/srs
- 1:26:13and use code SRS for $50 off the Nova
- 1:26:16Collar. That's spot-on.com/srs
- 1:26:21and use code SRS for $50 off.
- 1:26:27All right, Father Riper, we got a we got
- 1:26:29a hot question for you. Okay,
- 1:26:31>> so I want to understand
- 1:26:35why is Christianity the only religion in
- 1:26:39the world that is acceptable to
- 1:26:42disparage?
- 1:26:44[snorts]
- 1:26:44Well, Satan is the prince of this world.
- 1:26:47And it's pretty clear, at least at least
- 1:26:49it seems to me, but it's pretty clear I
- 1:26:51think to a lot of people that um Satan
- 1:26:53and the demons are gaining much greater
- 1:26:55ascendancy over the world. And as they
- 1:26:57influence the world more and more, they
- 1:27:00will use people and they will um use the
- 1:27:03things of this world in order to go
- 1:27:05after the one religion that they know is
- 1:27:08true. I often tell people that um you
- 1:27:12know in heaven the the demons actually
- 1:27:15because the fact that Christ was going
- 1:27:17to become incarnate and they actually
- 1:27:19watched Christ preach revelation they
- 1:27:22know it perfectly and so as a result of
- 1:27:24that and they know that he that he was
- 1:27:26the Messiah that was to come that he was
- 1:27:28going to be the one that was incarnate.
- 1:27:29So they know not from faith anymore
- 1:27:32because they lost their faith but they
- 1:27:33know just by deductive reason that this
- 1:27:36is the true religion. All other
- 1:27:39religions don't have human beings who
- 1:27:42started them whereas Christ whose God is
- 1:27:44the only one who started this religion
- 1:27:46and they saw it and so they know the
- 1:27:47rest of the other religions don't uh
- 1:27:49don't wash and so you can you know
- 1:27:53they'll be as they gain as the demons
- 1:27:55gain greater and greater control of the
- 1:27:57world and as evil becomes more and more
- 1:27:59in place there's two d two uh factors
- 1:28:03that come into play the first is the
- 1:28:05demons move people to punish the
- 1:28:06Christians which we saw in
- 1:28:08administrations even in this country
- 1:28:10where they were going after the
- 1:28:11Christians and then you'd look at these
- 1:28:12people and you can tell these people
- 1:28:13were not living good lives that were
- 1:28:15persecuting the Christians. So the
- 1:28:16demons will inspire the people to go
- 1:28:18after the Christians. We also see this
- 1:28:20in relationship to um uh you know
- 1:28:23certain religions attacking the
- 1:28:24Christians in different countries and
- 1:28:26that type of thing. So you see that the
- 1:28:28other part of the dynamic has to do with
- 1:28:31um the fact that St. Thomas talks about
- 1:28:34it in in a question in the suma, but
- 1:28:36there's a structure to how human beings
- 1:28:38go from pursuing and seeing the good to
- 1:28:41actually pursuing things that are evil.
- 1:28:43And it it basically go it's a process in
- 1:28:46which we have natural inclinations to
- 1:28:48things that are good. And so, for
- 1:28:49example, he says he gives the example a
- 1:28:51guy recognizes that fornication is
- 1:28:53immoral, right? So, he recognizes that,
- 1:28:55but then Bessie Sue walks in and she's
- 1:28:57just gorgeous. And so, he ends up
- 1:29:00falling with Bessie Sue and he keep St.
- 1:29:01Thomas says he thinks that it's you know
- 1:29:03he kind of gives in like it's okay in
- 1:29:04this one instance and then um but he
- 1:29:08keeps hanging around Bessie Sue so he
- 1:29:09keeps falling with her and eventually he
- 1:29:11starts thinking that well fornication
- 1:29:13isn't wrong you know and then as he
- 1:29:16keeps fornicating then what he actually
- 1:29:18thinks is that well no fornication is
- 1:29:20actually a good thing and then what
- 1:29:22happens next well people who tell me
- 1:29:24fornication's bad they're evil people
- 1:29:26because I know fornication's good that
- 1:29:28is the exact progression we actually saw
- 1:29:30in this country. The greatest generation
- 1:29:32knew that fornication was immoral, but
- 1:29:34they started fornicating behind the
- 1:29:35scenes. And that's where the fornication
- 1:29:37really started. And how do we know?
- 1:29:38Because when the hippie generation
- 1:29:40started the fornication openly, they
- 1:29:42didn't stop them because hey, well,
- 1:29:44can't tell them we did that because we
- 1:29:45did it, right? So, it goes from no, they
- 1:29:48can't do it, but they fell from time to
- 1:29:50time to okay, now they were openly doing
- 1:29:52it. Then by the time you get to the 80s
- 1:29:54and 90s, you should live with your
- 1:29:55girlfriend before you get married. And
- 1:29:57which is a good thing, right? because
- 1:29:58you should fornicate, find out if it's
- 1:29:59going to work. And then what's the last
- 1:30:01thing? Now you have people who when you
- 1:30:02say, "Hey, you need to be chased. The
- 1:30:04guys need to stop doing this." They get
- 1:30:06attacked. And so in addition to the
- 1:30:09demons driving this, now you have people
- 1:30:12whose lives are so disordered that what
- 1:30:15they see as good is bad. And what is
- 1:30:17actually they see as bad is actually
- 1:30:18good. And so they see, and this is why
- 1:30:21we actually see Christ mention this. He
- 1:30:24says there will come a time when they
- 1:30:26will actually believe that by
- 1:30:28eradicating the people who follow him
- 1:30:30eradicating they're actually doing the
- 1:30:32will of God.
- 1:30:34I mean it's it's it's it's interesting
- 1:30:36you know I mean I think all religions
- 1:30:39have been persecuted at one point or
- 1:30:41another through time. If you if you if
- 1:30:44you talk about Islam you're a bigot.
- 1:30:47>> If you and that's the same with multiple
- 1:30:50religions. If you talk about Judaism,
- 1:30:52you'll be ostracized from
- 1:30:55everything.
- 1:30:56>> That's right. It is the is it is the
- 1:30:59ultimate no. Correct.
- 1:31:01>> And I don't I I don't understand. I
- 1:31:03mean,
- 1:31:05why are Christians
- 1:31:09accepting this,
- 1:31:12you know, in all the other religions you
- 1:31:14you know, you you see you see this uh
- 1:31:16righteous anger.
- 1:31:17>> That's right. you know, if if if if
- 1:31:20their religion or their people are
- 1:31:22disparaged,
- 1:31:23>> right,
- 1:31:23>> with Christianity,
- 1:31:25>> and I'm guilty of it, too. We we we we
- 1:31:28let a
- 1:31:29>> we let it slide.
- 1:31:31>> Why is that?
- 1:31:32>> I think we let it slide because Are we
- 1:31:34conditioned?
- 1:31:35>> Yes. I think that's it.
- 1:31:37>> We're conditioned to actually believe
- 1:31:39that when Christ said, "Turn the other
- 1:31:40cheek that we just let people get away
- 1:31:42with whatever they want." And that's not
- 1:31:44actually the case. you basically when he
- 1:31:47said he turned the other cheek um or you
- 1:31:50know you have to forgive even those who
- 1:31:51do those bad things and give you yeah
- 1:31:52you have to forgive them but that
- 1:31:54doesn't mean that you extend the effects
- 1:31:56of that forgiveness to them because that
- 1:31:59might be bad for them St. Thomas says,
- 1:32:02"And so, for example, he says, you know,
- 1:32:04um, you know, you should have charity.
- 1:32:05You should have love of God and love of
- 1:32:07neighbor for the sake of God for
- 1:32:08everybody, but that doesn't mean that
- 1:32:11I'm going to necessarily show the
- 1:32:12effects of that love to somebody because
- 1:32:14then it would confirm them in their sin
- 1:32:15and it's actually going to be bad for
- 1:32:17them." And so, what's happened is
- 1:32:19Christians have gone to excess and just
- 1:32:20thinking, "Oh, you know, we just have to
- 1:32:22let people walk all over us." And that's
- 1:32:23not what Christ was saying. In fact, we
- 1:32:26have an obligation to uh to fight for
- 1:32:30and to protect the glory of Christ
- 1:32:31himself, Christ the King. We have an
- 1:32:33obligation to fight for him. And the
- 1:32:35fact that we actually don't do that is
- 1:32:36based upon this kind of this effeminite
- 1:32:39unwillingness to battle because we think
- 1:32:40it's it's it's you know, we're just
- 1:32:42being charitable or we're just being
- 1:32:44we're trying to be Christian and be
- 1:32:45merciful. Look, sometimes being merciful
- 1:32:47to somebody is actually bad for them.
- 1:32:50And so we have to we have God is going
- 1:32:53to be merciful when we meet those
- 1:32:55conditions always. But in relationship
- 1:32:57to us as human beings, we can't extend
- 1:32:59the uh mercy to people if they're doing
- 1:33:02evil and harm and offending God. I mean,
- 1:33:07do you think this is just going to
- 1:33:08continue to get worse?
- 1:33:10>> I do.
- 1:33:13What can people do? I mean, in in your
- 1:33:16in your mind or your idea, what how do
- 1:33:19Christians, you know, defend their
- 1:33:21faith. I mean, it's been it's been it's
- 1:33:23being ripped out of government. It's
- 1:33:25this country was found on Christianity.
- 1:33:27It's it's it's being ripped out of
- 1:33:28schools. Many people are offended if you
- 1:33:31even bring it up in school. However, you
- 1:33:33know, all these other ideologies, you
- 1:33:36know, we we we we're forced to comply
- 1:33:38with LGBTQ,
- 1:33:40>> right?
- 1:33:41>> Islam, Juda, all of them. all of them if
- 1:33:44they're all accepted except
- 1:33:46Christianity.
- 1:33:48I think there's two things. The first
- 1:33:49thing is is that a lot of Christians
- 1:33:50don't know their faith well. And so a
- 1:33:52lot of times they get mopped up and a
- 1:33:54lot of times they don't they don't fight
- 1:33:56or if they do fight they fight badly
- 1:33:58because they don't know what they're
- 1:33:58doing and they don't they don't know how
- 1:34:00to disarm these people. I'm thinking of
- 1:34:02a particular bishop and in his interview
- 1:34:03with Ben Shapiro I'm like man that was a
- 1:34:05missed opportunity cuz he really could
- 1:34:07have set the record straight on a few
- 1:34:09things. So in addition to they have to
- 1:34:11know what they're talking about. and
- 1:34:12they have to know this stuff. Um, they
- 1:34:15also have to know the other religions to
- 1:34:16know where they're wrong. But then and
- 1:34:17to be able to see this and also these
- 1:34:19other ideologies, they have to know why
- 1:34:21these things are actually bad. But then
- 1:34:23the second part of it is they just have
- 1:34:24to man up. You know, they just basically
- 1:34:27have to say, okay, look, it, you know,
- 1:34:29there's two things that I think that
- 1:34:30they have to do in relationship to that
- 1:34:31is they have to be willing to suffer
- 1:34:33other people's, you know, chaffing at
- 1:34:35them and etc. It reminds me of the
- 1:34:37allegory of the cave in Plato where the
- 1:34:40people in in the cave see these
- 1:34:42projections and think that's reality and
- 1:34:44that's not even reality. Reality is
- 1:34:45outside. So the guy tried to drag him
- 1:34:46outside and they're chaffing with him
- 1:34:47the whole way they're dragging him
- 1:34:48outside and even if they get outside and
- 1:34:50they see the truth, they want to go back
- 1:34:52to this, right? It's the same kind of a
- 1:34:54thing that you see here. They're going
- 1:34:55to chaff at you. So you just have to
- 1:34:56stay the course and be willing to tell
- 1:34:58the truth. The second thing is we have
- 1:35:00to be willing to wield the axe. And by
- 1:35:03that I mean we have to be willing to
- 1:35:04clear the deck. We have to start telling
- 1:35:06people, "Oh, I'm offended by that. I I
- 1:35:08don't care. I'm more concerned that you
- 1:35:11know the truth than your emotions are
- 1:35:13hurt." We have to stop allowing people
- 1:35:15to follow their emotions. We have to
- 1:35:16stop following our own emotions in
- 1:35:18relationship. We have to be be willing
- 1:35:20to follow reason. And it doesn't mean
- 1:35:21you go around just being obnoxious. But
- 1:35:23it means that we have to be willing to
- 1:35:25fight with people and and if they just
- 1:35:26say, "Well, I'm offended." Well, uh, you
- 1:35:28know, it's tough. That's just life.
- 1:35:32That's just reality. if you want to know
- 1:35:34the truth and you're willing to follow
- 1:35:35the truth. And the other side of it is
- 1:35:37is that that is is the hypocrisy of it
- 1:35:39all. We have to recognize that when we
- 1:35:40give into these people, we're giving
- 1:35:42into their hypocrisy because these
- 1:35:44people say, "Well, you're offensive to
- 1:35:45me. What you believe is offensive to
- 1:35:47me." Well, so is what you believe is
- 1:35:49offensive to me and I think it's
- 1:35:50offensive to God. So that we just have
- 1:35:53to say, "Okay, well then what we have to
- 1:35:55do is we have to be willing to fight the
- 1:35:56truth. Fight for the truth. be willing
- 1:35:58to take the take the beating for it in
- 1:36:00order to actually achieve what's um to
- 1:36:03in order to clear the deck. Now, there's
- 1:36:05one reason why I tell people they have
- 1:36:06to be willing to do this. Have you ever
- 1:36:09noticed that nobody will talk about
- 1:36:11something, nobody will say anything
- 1:36:12until one guy gets up there and says,
- 1:36:16"This is a bunch of bunk and here's
- 1:36:18why."
- 1:36:19>> He makes it safe for everybody else.
- 1:36:21>> Yes. He He breaks the ice.
- 1:36:23>> I know a couple guys like that.
- 1:36:25>> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter]
- 1:36:26But it breaks the ice and then from
- 1:36:29there it becomes a legitimate topic of
- 1:36:32discussion and people can actually start
- 1:36:34talking about it. But that's what we
- 1:36:35have to be willing to do. We have to be
- 1:36:37willing to break the ice or will the
- 1:36:38acts in relationship to this because
- 1:36:40it's once the truth gets out there then
- 1:36:43it starts dispelling the darkness and
- 1:36:45people start seeing it and people of
- 1:36:46that are normally of goodwill will start
- 1:36:48signing off to it and say yeah I
- 1:36:49actually believe that. So I mean we
- 1:36:51actually see this even you know just
- 1:36:52recent even just politically you were
- 1:36:54never allowed to talk or mention
- 1:36:55Christianity or whatsoever but now once
- 1:36:57it's done talk about now a lot of people
- 1:36:58are talking about it. So it's that one
- 1:37:00guy has got to break the ice and so
- 1:37:02people have to be willing to be that one
- 1:37:03guy. But I tell guys you may or may not
- 1:37:07be that guy. You have to make sure a
- 1:37:09that you have the virtue to do it to
- 1:37:11sustain the beating and you also have to
- 1:37:12be the guy that knows what he's talking
- 1:37:14about. And don't presume you know. You
- 1:37:16got to really know.
- 1:37:18>> I appreciate that. Yeah. So if you're
- 1:37:20willing to find the truth and follow the
- 1:37:23truth, then you should be willing to
- 1:37:24defend the truth.
- 1:37:25>> That's right.
- 1:37:26>> Break the ice no matter what the
- 1:37:27consequences.
- 1:37:28>> That's right. Personal cost. To go back
- 1:37:30to one of the um points is, you know,
- 1:37:32you have to be willing to be separated
- 1:37:34from the lesser good in order to pursue
- 1:37:35the greater good. Guys have to be
- 1:37:38willing to be to take the beating, to be
- 1:37:40separated from the the comfort and the
- 1:37:42adelation of other people. People have
- 1:37:44to be willing to be separated from that
- 1:37:45in order to pursue the good regardless
- 1:37:48of the personal cost which is the
- 1:37:49greater good.
- 1:37:51>> Can we communicate with angels?
- 1:37:53>> Yes, we can.
- 1:37:55>> How would we do that?
- 1:37:57>> So
- 1:37:59I think before I answer that, let me
- 1:38:00answer how actual angels communicate
- 1:38:03with monks themselves. So the basically
- 1:38:06the way it works is because they don't
- 1:38:07have bodies. we communicate because I
- 1:38:09think of something I make a set of
- 1:38:11sounds and then you hear the sounds and
- 1:38:12then you interpret it uh based upon
- 1:38:14that. So it's it's a physical kind of a
- 1:38:15communication but because they don't
- 1:38:18have bodies that means that uh their
- 1:38:21communication is purely intellectual. So
- 1:38:23it's a kind of a telepathy and so the
- 1:38:25way that that works is one angel thinks
- 1:38:28of the other angel and thinks himself I
- 1:38:30want to communicate with that with that
- 1:38:32particular angel. Now, if you remember
- 1:38:33what I was saying earlier, God infuses
- 1:38:36the particular things as they're
- 1:38:38happening in the minds of the angels as
- 1:38:40they're happening. And so, the angel
- 1:38:42that's infused in the name uh the other
- 1:38:44angel's mind that angel so and so wants
- 1:38:46to communicate with you. Then if his
- 1:38:48just like with us we can either listen
- 1:38:50to somebody or not. He can if he moves
- 1:38:53he uses his will to turn towards that
- 1:38:56angel in his mind then um then they then
- 1:38:59all that angel has to do is start then
- 1:39:00he can start communicating what he wants
- 1:39:02to directly with them. Okay. So that
- 1:39:05basically means that they can use their
- 1:39:07mind to communicate with them. That's
- 1:39:09not any different from the very nature
- 1:39:11of prayer. In fact with the definition
- 1:39:13of prayer is lifting the mind and heart
- 1:39:14to God. So we're actually we're
- 1:39:16directing our mind to him and then when
- 1:39:18we do that and then through our prayer
- 1:39:20that we we communicate with him what we
- 1:39:22want then when we do that so obviously
- 1:39:24God knows all our thoughts anyway but
- 1:39:26that's how we actually communicate with
- 1:39:28with God is just by directing our
- 1:39:31thoughts to him directly and and
- 1:39:33communicating him with our thoughts. We
- 1:39:34can do it verbally as well. Um
- 1:39:37>> is verbally stronger than thought? Uh
- 1:39:40yeah, it it is in the sense that it's uh
- 1:39:42it's better for us. And so God tends to
- 1:39:45u it doesn't mean that God doesn't
- 1:39:46listen to the mental prayers or even if
- 1:39:48you're talking to the um uh to the
- 1:39:51angels. Um
- 1:39:52>> I mean did you I'm sorry. Did you just
- 1:39:53say God does not listen to mental
- 1:39:55prayers?
- 1:39:56>> No, he does. He does. He listens to
- 1:39:57them. But a lot of times the uh the v
- 1:40:00when we vocalize it, it helps our
- 1:40:02faculties become more focused and it's a
- 1:40:04stronger prayer as a result. And so
- 1:40:06that's why a lot of times there's also
- 1:40:08certain kinds of prayers he just wants
- 1:40:09done vocally anyway. So um and because
- 1:40:13he made us as human beings and made us
- 1:40:15with the ability to communicate in that
- 1:40:16fashion he also wants us to do that from
- 1:40:18time to time. On the other hand there's
- 1:40:20also certain kinds of prayer that you
- 1:40:21want to be entirely mental. Okay. With
- 1:40:25the angels uh then what we do is we it's
- 1:40:28the same kind of a mechanism that they
- 1:40:30have. It's just that we they under
- 1:40:33certain circumstances they are permitted
- 1:40:34to communicate directly to us so that we
- 1:40:36hear their thoughts but that's extremely
- 1:40:38rare but if we direct our thoughts to
- 1:40:41them the same mechanism occurs so if I
- 1:40:45direct my thoughts say to my guardian
- 1:40:47angel and ask them to do something in
- 1:40:49fact I can tell a story behind that um
- 1:40:52but there if I tell my guardian or if I
- 1:40:55mentally think of my guardian angel and
- 1:40:57and tell them hey I want you to do x y
- 1:40:59or z And it's the same mechanism it was
- 1:41:02with the angels that's infused in his
- 1:41:03mind that I want to talk to him. And
- 1:41:05then if when he turns his mind to me, he
- 1:41:07hears my thoughts. Otherwise, he can't
- 1:41:09he can't get access to my thoughts. He
- 1:41:12can cause things in me, but he can't
- 1:41:14read them. He can't know what I'm
- 1:41:16thinking unless um either he's causing
- 1:41:19it or uh he can kind of decipher it. And
- 1:41:21he's probably thinking about X like you
- 1:41:22can with your wife. You know, you can
- 1:41:24figure out what she's thinking just by
- 1:41:26what how she's reacting. Um but the uh
- 1:41:29but they they actually they can hear our
- 1:41:31thoughts in that actual process. So uh
- 1:41:34to give an example uh I had a case with
- 1:41:37a woman was u possessed. I was in a
- 1:41:39airport was just about just about to get
- 1:41:42onto the plane. I was in line to uh at
- 1:41:44the gate and the uh the woman I was
- 1:41:47working with calls me and she who was
- 1:41:49possessed and she calls me and she says,
- 1:41:52"Hey, I I'm pinned and I can't move."
- 1:41:54And so, um, which they had done to her
- 1:41:56before and then she hands the phone to
- 1:41:59the assistants because anytime I do a a
- 1:42:01session, there's always lay assistants
- 1:42:03that are present. And they said, "Yeah."
- 1:42:05They took the phone. They said, "Yeah,
- 1:42:06we can't budge her. We can't move her."
- 1:42:07And I'm like, "Well, I'm I'm standing
- 1:42:08I'm literally handing the the stewardist
- 1:42:11or whatever the gate woman my uh
- 1:42:14boarding pass." And I just said, "Well,
- 1:42:15I can't do it now, but my flight's only
- 1:42:17about an hour. I'll call you in about an
- 1:42:18hour." And um so then I hung up. And
- 1:42:21then I just mentally said to the
- 1:42:23guardian angel of my priesthood, "Go and
- 1:42:26take go and help her." And then I just
- 1:42:29got onto the plane. An hour flight
- 1:42:30later, I get off the plane. And then um
- 1:42:34uh I call her back and I said, "You
- 1:42:36know, you're still pinned." She says,
- 1:42:37"Yes, I'm still pinned." So then I just
- 1:42:39said a couple of binding prayers. Boom.
- 1:42:40The demon let loose for right away. And
- 1:42:42then she just hangs up on me and she
- 1:42:44says, "I got to go." She hangs up. Uh
- 1:42:47about five minutes later, she calls back
- 1:42:48and she says, "Well, the reason I hung
- 1:42:50up is because I hadn't been to the
- 1:42:51bathroom in five hours." I'm like,
- 1:42:53"Okay, that's fair enough." And then she
- 1:42:56said, "And by the way, did you send the
- 1:42:57guardian angel of your priesthood to
- 1:42:59me?" And I said, "Yeah, how did you
- 1:43:00know?" He said, "He appeared to me and
- 1:43:02held my hand during this whole episode."
- 1:43:05So the fact that I was able to mentally
- 1:43:07communicate that with my guardian angel
- 1:43:09is an indicator that they can hear our
- 1:43:11thoughts. And so we can start we can ask
- 1:43:14them the way the our guardian angels
- 1:43:16work is their involvement in our life is
- 1:43:18based on two things. One um what God
- 1:43:22tells them to do. Hey you need to do
- 1:43:24this this this or this or I don't want
- 1:43:26you to protect them under this
- 1:43:27circumstance cuz I want them to go
- 1:43:29through this test or I want them to
- 1:43:30suffer this for the sake of their soul
- 1:43:32or whatever the case is. So they God
- 1:43:34communicates that to them. But the
- 1:43:36primary way that they get involved in
- 1:43:38our lives is by our asking them. So the
- 1:43:41more we ask them um and the more we uh
- 1:43:44invoke their uh intercession and working
- 1:43:47in our lives, the more they become
- 1:43:49involved. And so sometimes people will
- 1:43:51say, "Well, my guardian angel doesn't do
- 1:43:52anything." I'm like, "Well, how much do
- 1:43:53you communicate with the guy?" So if you
- 1:43:55communicate with them every single day,
- 1:43:57then you'll find that they'll be
- 1:43:58actually more involved in your life.
- 1:44:00Now, sometimes people will say, "Well,
- 1:44:02how do I know my guardian angel is even
- 1:44:04involved in my life?" And it's very
- 1:44:06simple.
- 1:44:08because they love [clears throat] God
- 1:44:09and they see his divine plan in
- 1:44:11relationship to us as human beings. They
- 1:44:13know that God's will is for us to live a
- 1:44:16normal life where we get to make free
- 1:44:18choices. That's what God wants for us.
- 1:44:21And that means that the gu when we our
- 1:44:25guardian angel is active, it means he's
- 1:44:27protecting us so that there's nothing
- 1:44:29trying to skew us or block us or do
- 1:44:33those things would cause our bad choices
- 1:44:35and so or causing problems or
- 1:44:37difficulties in our lives. That's how
- 1:44:38you actually know. So in other words,
- 1:44:40it's the more natural our life seems,
- 1:44:43that's actually an indicator the more
- 1:44:45the angels are actually involved.
- 1:44:47Sometimes we'll get we'll get indication
- 1:44:49like oh no that was that was you know
- 1:44:50pretty my guardian angel had to be
- 1:44:52protecting me in that particular set of
- 1:44:53situations but that's not too common but
- 1:44:56whereas and the way we know that that
- 1:44:58that's how they work is that demons are
- 1:45:00the opposite. Everything they do is
- 1:45:03contrary to our nature. It tries to
- 1:45:05darken our intellect make it harder for
- 1:45:07us to make good choices. They mess with
- 1:45:09everything in our lives. They try and
- 1:45:10mess everything up rather than just
- 1:45:11letting us live a normal life.
- 1:45:16Aging is inevitable. And if you're
- 1:45:18anything like me, you feel it a little
- 1:45:20more every year. Sore knees, tight
- 1:45:23joints, recovery takes longer than it
- 1:45:25used to. We can't stop the clock, but we
- 1:45:29can take care of ourselves. That's why I

- 1:46:42only one you've got.
- 1:46:46>> Do you think most human beings can
- 1:46:48differentiate the difference between a
- 1:46:52communication [clears throat] from an
- 1:46:53angel and a demon?
- 1:46:55>> Um, no.
- 1:46:58And the reason I say that is I think
- 1:47:00there's some things that are pretty
- 1:47:01overt and sometimes people know, okay,
- 1:47:03yeah, I think that was my guardian
- 1:47:04angel. I mean, I think that there's some
- 1:47:05on the more uh kind of extreme kind of
- 1:47:08levels. But I think that most people's
- 1:47:10even understanding of what is good and
- 1:47:12bad and how and how the angels even
- 1:47:15communicate with and how the demons are
- 1:47:16involved in our lives. There's so much
- 1:47:18confusion out there and so little
- 1:47:20understanding of this thing that people
- 1:47:23actually believe
- 1:47:25that you know oh I had these amorous
- 1:47:27feelings for this person. It must be my
- 1:47:28guardian angel. No, demons can give
- 1:47:30amorous feelings for people. So you have
- 1:47:33to be careful about that. Whereas the
- 1:47:35demons are never going to give you uh
- 1:47:37inclinations to want to love God more,
- 1:47:39to be more virtuous and things like
- 1:47:40that. So there are principles of
- 1:47:42discernment about how you can kind of
- 1:47:44sort these things out, but I don't think
- 1:47:45most people know them. I had a
- 1:47:50I think I had a encounter with an angel
- 1:47:53several years ago that I think that's
- 1:47:55what honestly led me to Christ.
- 1:47:57>> Yeah. And it uh it is the
- 1:48:02only other time in my life where I
- 1:48:05really felt that there was a true battle
- 1:48:07for my soul happening in real time,
- 1:48:10>> right?
- 1:48:10>> And uh it was at a very dark part of my
- 1:48:14life
- 1:48:15>> and I basically come to the I I just I
- 1:48:18had this uh intuitive feeling in my
- 1:48:20heart that that I was I was uh
- 1:48:24transgenderism was really bothering me
- 1:48:25at the time. and a lot of other things
- 1:48:27that were going on in the world. And I
- 1:48:29felt like maybe I was one of the only
- 1:48:31people speaking out about it and [sighs]
- 1:48:34>> it was just running rampant through the
- 1:48:36country. And so I had this internal
- 1:48:39battle in my in my in my head happening.
- 1:48:43And
- 1:48:44basically it was me convincing myself
- 1:48:47that
- 1:48:49maybe I'm wrong here, you know? Maybe
- 1:48:51maybe I I feel like I'm the only one
- 1:48:54speaking out against it. I feel like
- 1:48:58maybe I should just surrender. What's
- 1:49:00the point? Why why fight this? Why speak
- 1:49:03out against it? Why do any of that?
- 1:49:05Because because
- 1:49:08>> everybody appears to be for the
- 1:49:10celebrities that I that I
- 1:49:13>> Mhm.
- 1:49:15>> respected.
- 1:49:16Um
- 1:49:18started speaking out for it. people I
- 1:49:20never would have expected
- 1:49:23speaking out about uh drag shows in
- 1:49:26front of toddlers,
- 1:49:29>> you know, and all these things. And
- 1:49:30these are people that I never would have
- 1:49:31expected do this. And then and then one
- 1:49:33week later after they announced that
- 1:49:36they're they're they're all for this,
- 1:49:37they get a a massive TV show deal,
- 1:49:40>> right?
- 1:49:41>> You know, and so I think I know what
- 1:49:43that is, but it it at the time I didn't
- 1:49:46see that deal. And so I I was I felt
- 1:49:49like I was surrendering my soul to evil
- 1:49:51and and I I was just like, why why even
- 1:49:55who cares? Just give up. And I'd gotten
- 1:49:59to that point where I was almost there.
- 1:50:01We had walked into this um my wife and I
- 1:50:04had walked into this
- 1:50:07place. We were vacationing in Sedona,
- 1:50:09Arizona.
- 1:50:10And there was a we walked through the
- 1:50:13gate guards, you know, that there was
- 1:50:15armed guards there that were arming the
- 1:50:17property or the guarding the property.
- 1:50:19And I'd seen I've been there for a week.
- 1:50:20I'd seen all these guys. A lot of them
- 1:50:22watch the show. They'd say hi, you know,
- 1:50:26and this was the last night I was there
- 1:50:28and I walked through the gate and
- 1:50:30there's this old older gentleman in
- 1:50:32there. I think he said he was in Air
- 1:50:34Force Vietnam vet or something.
- 1:50:37And he started trying to talk to me. I
- 1:50:40didn't want to talk to him. I was, like
- 1:50:41I just told you, I was in a pretty dark
- 1:50:43place.
- 1:50:43>> Mhm.
- 1:50:44>> And my wife stopped to talk to him. I'd
- 1:50:47never seen this guy. Been there for a
- 1:50:48week. I know I pay attention to security
- 1:50:51uh cuz of my background. I've never seen
- 1:50:53this guy at all ever.
- 1:50:58>> And so I'm I'm I'm kind of posturing
- 1:51:01like I don't want to talk to him. I'm
- 1:51:03looking at him over my shoulder.
- 1:51:04>> Right. Yeah.
- 1:51:05>> My wife stops. I turn and I square up to
- 1:51:08him.
- 1:51:11He immediately read my mind from front
- 1:51:13to back.
- 1:51:15And he said,
- 1:51:17I only really remember the first thing
- 1:51:18that he said because it it scared me
- 1:51:23that he was inside my head. And he said,
- 1:51:25you don't need to worry about all this
- 1:51:28transgender transgenderism going on with
- 1:51:31the kids and and and and just humans in
- 1:51:34general. That's not your battle. And
- 1:51:36then he went on and he started talking
- 1:51:38about he said something about China cuz
- 1:51:41China was really in my head cuz I was
- 1:51:42when the spy balloons traversed the
- 1:51:44United States
- 1:51:45>> from Washington to Florida or South
- 1:51:47Carolina or wherever. And and and he
- 1:51:49started going into that and and I just
- 1:51:51looked at this guy in the eyes and I was
- 1:51:53like,
- 1:51:56"Yeah, how are you inside of my head?"
- 1:52:00And then a whole series of of other
- 1:52:02events happened within minutes right
- 1:52:03after that. And that's that's basically
- 1:52:05what what saved my soul and brought me
- 1:52:08brought me to Christ.
- 1:52:10>> And
- 1:52:11[clears throat]
- 1:52:12so what I want to ask you is there a
- 1:52:14possibility that that was that that was
- 1:52:16my guardian angel or maybe an archangel?
- 1:52:20>> Yes, it can be actually. Usually when
- 1:52:22you see those kinds of experiences which
- 1:52:24are not normally explained, one of the
- 1:52:26other things that you'll notice is
- 1:52:27you'll never be able to find that guy
- 1:52:28again.
- 1:52:29>> Nope.
- 1:52:30>> Nope. Yeah. So that's one of the that's
- 1:52:32actually one of the indicators. It's a
- 1:52:33it's a very similar story um to a priest
- 1:52:36who the first pastor I was under he had
- 1:52:39to go to uh anoint somebody in a
- 1:52:41building and when he got there this 6
- 1:52:44foot big burly police officer was there
- 1:52:47and said you can't go in there father
- 1:52:49and he just says well I have to I've got
- 1:52:51to know you can't go in leave and so the
- 1:52:54priest walks around the corner and then
- 1:52:57says no I got to go do it so he turns
- 1:52:59back around that police officer was
- 1:53:01nowhere to be
- 1:53:03He asked the police department. They had
- 1:53:04never had any of that guy on there. But
- 1:53:06while he had walked around the corner
- 1:53:08and came back, two people were shot in
- 1:53:10the building.
- 1:53:12So that it's the same kind of a thing.
- 1:53:14They'll they sometimes intervene in such
- 1:53:16dramatic ways in order to correct our
- 1:53:18path so that we don't end up going down
- 1:53:20the wrong path.
- 1:53:22>> Why don't they do this more often? Why
- 1:53:24didn't they do this to the celebrity
- 1:53:27that
- 1:53:29>> well part of it has to do with
- 1:53:31>> maybe they did
- 1:53:32>> and maybe they did. Yeah. I think some
- 1:53:34of it is also um it's how much
- 1:53:37involvement
- 1:53:39do we want to get them in our lives? I
- 1:53:41mean do they do they if the guardian
- 1:53:44angels appear to do would they even
- 1:53:45listen to him?
- 1:53:46>> [snorts]
- 1:53:47>> So, it's it's largely a matter of uh as
- 1:53:50I mentioned, there's certain things that
- 1:53:51God tells them they should the guardian
- 1:53:53angels what they need to do, but God's
- 1:53:55will for us is for us to get them
- 1:53:57involved in our lives.
- 1:54:03You [snorts] know, I've also heard that
- 1:54:07if you're in the presence of an angel,
- 1:54:09it's it's it's that terrifying would be
- 1:54:11the wrong word, but it is just an over
- 1:54:14overpowering sensation that that no
- 1:54:18human being could fathom.
- 1:54:21Is there any truth to that?
- 1:54:23There might be certain experiences of
- 1:54:25people historically that would account
- 1:54:29for those kinds of things.
- 1:54:31But generally speaking, angels aren't
- 1:54:33that overt and they tend to be um uh
- 1:54:38they tend to be much more subtle and
- 1:54:39they're in our presence. I mean, your
- 1:54:40guardian angel is watching you all the
- 1:54:42time and to keep watch over you and from
- 1:54:45time to time putting those thoughts in
- 1:54:47your mind and that type of thing to help
- 1:54:48guide you and that type of thing. So,
- 1:54:49they have a lot of presence to us that's
- 1:54:51not going to be that dramatic.
- 1:54:54Do you have any other examples of
- 1:54:57human beings encountering angels? I
- 1:54:59mean, we we hear, you know, miraculous
- 1:55:02things with with with with car wrecks
- 1:55:04that cars been lifted off a body or or
- 1:55:06that saved them or
- 1:55:08>> Yeah. Uh yeah, I mean, I've heard those
- 1:55:09kinds of stories, too. Another story
- 1:55:11that a priest friend of mine had a
- 1:55:13parishioner who um she was very elderly
- 1:55:17and so there was a little there was a
- 1:55:20woman who was like 17 who would take her
- 1:55:23to mass every day but the 17-year-old
- 1:55:26didn't have her driver's license and the
- 1:55:28and the 80year-old woman did but she was
- 1:55:31very elderly so they went to mass and
- 1:55:32when they came back out the elderly
- 1:55:34woman says I can't I just can't hardly
- 1:55:36move my arms. We're going to have to
- 1:55:38pray to St. um Raphael to to come and
- 1:55:41and to drive the car for us. So the
- 1:55:43older woman literally said a prayer to
- 1:55:46St. Raphael. The next thing you know,
- 1:55:48the car starts up, turns, and then goes
- 1:55:50all the way to um uh to their house,
- 1:55:53shuts off. There was um I I'll admit
- 1:55:58that when I was younger, I was not the
- 1:55:59best kind of an individual. So one time
- 1:56:02I got uh I got pretty schnoled, right?
- 1:56:05So
- 1:56:06>> I can see that.
- 1:56:06>> Yeah. [laughter]
- 1:56:08So, uh, this was long before I got my
- 1:56:11act together, but I got pretty schnocked
- 1:56:13[clears throat]
- 1:56:13and, um, I was at this friend of mine's
- 1:56:15house, which lived about 20 miles from
- 1:56:17where my parents lived.
- 1:56:20And, um, I mean, I was on the verge of
- 1:56:23blacking out. Got in my truck, started
- 1:56:25driving home.
- 1:56:27Then I I mean, all I remember is getting
- 1:56:30in the truck and telling him, "No, I'm
- 1:56:31going to be all right." I I start
- 1:56:33driving away. The next thing I remember
- 1:56:36is pulling into my house, my parents
- 1:56:38house. I'm convinced that was my
- 1:56:40guardian angel cuz I I there's no way. I
- 1:56:43I mean I I literally blacked out for
- 1:56:45that whole distance. Wow. Yeah. So they
- 1:56:49do I mean that tells you know you know
- 1:56:52the those of us who trying to be good
- 1:56:54have had bad past sometimes too. is you
- 1:56:56just have to make sure that you're
- 1:56:57you're trying to do everything you can
- 1:56:58to get the angels your guardian angels
- 1:57:01especially but all the angels too
- 1:57:03involved in your life and there's not
- 1:57:04just our own personal guardian angels
- 1:57:06there's guardian angels of families
- 1:57:08towns uh countries um churches those
- 1:57:13types of thing and so um corporations of
- 1:57:15a certain size there's just God created
- 1:57:18a number of uh angels and so you can
- 1:57:20also pray to to the guardian angels of
- 1:57:22your children hey make sure that Johnny
- 1:57:24you know clue Johnny to do this that and
- 1:57:26other thing and that empowers them to
- 1:57:27actually be able to go and do that more
- 1:57:29more frequently.
- 1:57:30>> I mean I actually I have another example
- 1:57:32that just popped in my head. I mean
- 1:57:33several several years ago over a decade
- 1:57:36ago I had a suicide attempt
- 1:57:39>> and uh same thing. I was hammered,
- 1:57:42blacked out.
- 1:57:43>> Yeah.
- 1:57:43>> Don't remember how I got home and
- 1:57:47reclined my I don't remember doing this.
- 1:57:48I reclined my seat.
- 1:57:50>> Mhm.
- 1:57:51>> In my garage with the car running. Mhm.
- 1:57:54Yeah.
- 1:57:58>> And when I woke up in the morning, I
- 1:58:00woke up in my room. My entire I lived in
- 1:58:02a in a town home and my entire town home
- 1:58:07smelled like gasoline or some type of
- 1:58:09fuel.
- 1:58:12Woke up, ran downstairs,
- 1:58:15saw my pistol on the couch, a pistol
- 1:58:17that I never I don't carry every day.
- 1:58:20Uh, so I think maybe there maybe there
- 1:58:23was two attempts or or or I was thinking
- 1:58:26about doing it twice,
- 1:58:28>> right?
- 1:58:28>> Because I would have never accessed that
- 1:58:29pistol. Um, especially at 3 or 4:00 in
- 1:58:34the morning when I've just tied on on,
- 1:58:36>> right? I go out to my garage and the
- 1:58:41door handle was like a little bit like
- 1:58:44the door was a little hot to the touch
- 1:58:46and I thought, "Holy [ __ ] there's a
- 1:58:49fire in there or something." And I'm I'm
- 1:58:53opened the door, but before I opened the
- 1:58:55door, I'd
- 1:58:59made the decision that if I open the
- 1:59:00door, I'm probably going to get blown to
- 1:59:02smitherreens because all the fresh
- 1:59:04oxygen's going to rush in and
- 1:59:05>> Oh, yeah. blow me away. So, I made that
- 1:59:08I uh three times I think I made the
- 1:59:11decision uh to die to kill myself.
- 1:59:15[clears throat] I went in the garage and
- 1:59:16I saw my Audi with the receipt with the
- 1:59:19seat reclined back and the car was still
- 1:59:24running
- 1:59:26and it was so hot in there that the gas
- 1:59:29tank melted and the gas tank was
- 1:59:33leaking. was it was a slow drip, but it
- 1:59:36was dripping fire out of the gas tank
- 1:59:39onto the exhaust muffler.
- 1:59:42>> Wa.
- 1:59:46Yeah, I shouldn't be here.
- 1:59:47>> Yeah.
- 1:59:48>> And that's just one example. Do you
- 1:59:49think that was a guardian angel? Was
- 1:59:52that God that intervened?
- 1:59:53>> Yeah, a lot of times they'll actually do
- 1:59:55that.
- 1:59:56So, um, yeah, they'll do it. Uh,
- 2:00:00speaking of cars, I had an experience
- 2:00:02once while I was driving uh I was
- 2:00:05driving my truck to go out to the
- 2:00:07seminary to teach a course and there was
- 2:00:10a car here and one here and then I was
- 2:00:12behind it and um an ambulance comes on
- 2:00:16the other side. So this car right in the
- 2:00:18front just locks up the brakes and stops
- 2:00:20right in the middle. It's like a 40 mph
- 2:00:21zone. Just stops right in the middle. So
- 2:00:23the guy in front of him manages just
- 2:00:26manages to stop before it's getting but
- 2:00:28by the time I hit the brakes. I I I I'm
- 2:00:30looking at the back of this guy's thing
- 2:00:32like I am just going to plow into the
- 2:00:34back of this guy's truck. Right. And
- 2:00:36[snorts] so and I I had my hands on
- 2:00:38there. It was not me. Literally all of a
- 2:00:41sudden the wheel just goes I go right
- 2:00:43between these uh these uh posts. go
- 2:00:47right between the posts and then I
- 2:00:49literally the wheel just goes it goes
- 2:00:52right between the posts back down around
- 2:00:54those two and right back up onto the
- 2:00:56road and I'm driving. I'm like, "Yeah,
- 2:00:59okay. This is I need hazardous duty
- 2:01:01pay." But the point being is that I
- 2:01:03think that was my guardian angel.
- 2:01:05>> Wow. I mean, even more examples. I mean,
- 2:01:08I've stepped on on exploded
- 2:01:12H high explosive ordinance in
- 2:01:14Afghanistan that that that is that that
- 2:01:16that
- 2:01:18>> stepped on it.
- 2:01:19>> I took a picture of it cuz I was like,
- 2:01:20"Holy [ __ ] I should be dead."
- 2:01:22>> Yeah.
- 2:01:23>> I just stepped on UXO
- 2:01:25>> HDP round.
- 2:01:27>> And and it didn't blow. Right.
- 2:01:28>> And there's example my friend Eddie
- 2:01:30Penny. I mean, he had a a intuitive
- 2:01:34thought injected into his brain on a
- 2:01:36target in Afghanistan.
- 2:01:38>> Yeah. Something told I can't remember
- 2:01:40the exact story, but something told him,
- 2:01:42"Don't go over there." 2 seconds later,
- 2:01:44the entire building is leveled.
- 2:01:46>> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. In fact,
- 2:01:49there so there's uh they that's part of
- 2:01:51that the fact that they can put that
- 2:01:52kind of stuff into our imaginations.
- 2:01:55A lot of times we you know, we can talk
- 2:01:56about the fact that they actually can
- 2:01:58protect us. um uh spiritually or protect
- 2:02:02us physically from these particular
- 2:02:04things that happen to us. They can also
- 2:02:06protect us spiritually by putting in our
- 2:02:09minds, you know, you really probably
- 2:02:11should avoid that particular person. I'm
- 2:02:13not suggesting that people should just
- 2:02:14be, you know, following their emotions
- 2:02:16and things like that. But the but the
- 2:02:17angels can actually protect us
- 2:02:20spiritually, you know, even sometimes
- 2:02:21from ourselves, protect us from the
- 2:02:23wrong kinds of people. The other thing
- 2:02:25that I find fascinating about the angels
- 2:02:28which is something which I actually use
- 2:02:30from time to time is um this this is
- 2:02:34based upon uh the the inversion of so
- 2:02:37I'll tell tell the inversion of it and
- 2:02:38then talk about why they we know that
- 2:02:40angels do it. So demons can actually do
- 2:02:41this same mechanism which is because
- 2:02:45they can affect our imagination. They
- 2:02:47can the the demons can actually block
- 2:02:50people by affecting their imagination
- 2:02:52from focusing on things that you would
- 2:02:55normally think that they would focus on.
- 2:02:57This is how like in our government you
- 2:02:59can have people who are engaging in bad
- 2:03:01behavior for decades or even years but
- 2:03:04just for decades and nobody even pays
- 2:03:07hardly an attention to it. Like why
- 2:03:08didn't anybody notice that? And that's
- 2:03:10because the demons can actually affect
- 2:03:12that. They said Hitler had that he had
- 2:03:15this phenomenal ability to um at the
- 2:03:20very last second
- 2:03:23shift and change his schedule and just
- 2:03:28say, "Okay, I'm not going to, you know,
- 2:03:30we're going to go over here." All of a
- 2:03:30sudden, boom, they would change it.
- 2:03:32There's a there was actually a a
- 2:03:33president here in the United States in
- 2:03:35recent past they said had the same
- 2:03:36phenomenon that he would just all of a
- 2:03:38sudden change his um his schedule out of
- 2:03:41the blue and then they would find out
- 2:03:43there was an attempt on his life that
- 2:03:44was going to occur.
- 2:03:45>> Wow. So, but the demon So, the demons
- 2:03:48can actually influence people that way
- 2:03:50too. But they can also block our ability
- 2:03:52to focus on stuff that you know why
- 2:03:55hasn't anybody talked about this
- 2:03:57particular kind of fraud in the
- 2:03:58government when it's this rampid, you
- 2:04:00know, that type of thing. And um they so
- 2:04:04they can actually do that. Well, the
- 2:04:06same kind of mechan so they can keep
- 2:04:07people hidden. And so the same kind of
- 2:04:10mechanism the actual angels can do. So,
- 2:04:13one of the things I often recommend to
- 2:04:15people who are really trying to really
- 2:04:16forge the good and do a lot of good in
- 2:04:18the in in the culture and that type of
- 2:04:20thing is ask either our lady to, you
- 2:04:23know, send her angels down, but ask your
- 2:04:25guardian angel or the angels to keep you
- 2:04:27hidden from the wrong kinds of people
- 2:04:30and it has a phenomenally good effect
- 2:04:33because and it'll keep so what'll happen
- 2:04:35is the type and it's even a mechanism I
- 2:04:38teach sometimes I'll teach people who
- 2:04:40are run major corporations and they'll
- 2:04:43complained to me like we just keep
- 2:04:44getting the wrong kinds of people in.
- 2:04:45You know, they just they keep coming in
- 2:04:47and they cause all this damage. I said,
- 2:04:49"Well, ask the angels to keep your
- 2:04:51corporation hidden from them." But at
- 2:04:53the same time, ask them keep it known to
- 2:04:54the people that need to know so they can
- 2:04:57actually affect other people to where
- 2:04:59they don't, you know, society, you know,
- 2:05:01I'm going to go work for Sean and then
- 2:05:02they come in and cause you all this
- 2:05:03damage. You can actually keep those
- 2:05:04kinds of peopleh away or or the types of
- 2:05:08people that you know that um could cause
- 2:05:10you harm or whatever the case is. just
- 2:05:12ask our lady keep me hidden from them. I
- 2:05:14do it in relationship to certain people
- 2:05:16just to keep me hidden so that I don't
- 2:05:18have this and it's been our lady's been
- 2:05:20very good to that cuz but the angels are
- 2:05:23the ones that kind of execute that
- 2:05:24process
- 2:05:28with summer travel. Even learning a few
- 2:05:31real phrases can completely change the
- 2:05:33experience. You're not just pointing at
- 2:05:35a menu or hoping someone speaks English.
- 2:05:37You can order food, ask for directions,
- 2:05:40and actually connect with people a
- 2:05:42little more when you're there. That's
- 2:05:43why I like Babel. Me and the team have
- 2:05:45been using it for travel because it's
- 2:05:47built for real life conversations, not
- 2:05:50just memorizing random vocabulary or
- 2:05:52staring at grammar charts. The lessons
- 2:05:54are quick, practical, and built by more
- 2:05:57than 200 language experts, so you're
- 2:05:59learning phrases you'll actually use.
- 2:06:02And even just 10 minutes a day with
- 2:06:03Babel can help you start having real
- 2:06:06conversations in as little as 3 weeks.
- 2:06:08They've got interactive dialogue,
- 2:06:10personalized reviews, and even podcasts,
- 2:06:13so you can work it into your day,
- 2:06:15whether you're traveling, driving, or
- 2:06:17just trying to get a few minutes in
- 2:06:18before bed. Babel's award-winning app
- 2:06:21has sold over 25 million subscriptions,
- 2:06:24and it's backed by a 14-day money back
- 2:06:27guarantee. If you've got summer travel
- 2:06:29coming up, now's the time to start. So
- 2:06:31you can actually use what you learn on
- 2:06:33the trip. Right now, Babel is offering
- 2:06:35listeners up to 60% off. Go to
- 2:06:38babel.com/srs.
- 2:06:40That's babel babbble

- 2:06:52Do we have any idea of what their realm
- 2:06:54looks like? I mean they they seem the
- 2:06:58majority I mean almost all the time
- 2:07:01invisible to us. I mean you know so
- 2:07:05>> do we have any idea of what their realm
- 2:07:07what their perspective of this realm
- 2:07:09looks like and how do they
- 2:07:14how do they transfer realms? How do they
- 2:07:17are they in another dimension that's
- 2:07:19coincides with this dimension? I mean,
- 2:07:21if you're driving down the road and you
- 2:07:23go, your car goes off and an invisible
- 2:07:25thing throws your car back on the road.
- 2:07:27I mean, are they are they
- 2:07:30>> are they
- 2:07:31>> well a dimension
- 2:07:32>> transferring from one dimension to the
- 2:07:33other in a split second? I mean, how do
- 2:07:36what is it?
- 2:07:37>> Yeah, that's actually a good question.
- 2:07:38They're not in another dimension because
- 2:07:40a dimension is a physical thing and
- 2:07:41they're not physical. They don't have
- 2:07:42bodies. They can actually move physical
- 2:07:45things just with their minds, you know.
- 2:07:47So it's it's a form of telekinesis type
- 2:07:49of thing, but they they can have it. And
- 2:07:51so um in fact, it's actually there's a
- 2:07:53lot of theological speculation by
- 2:07:55certain theologians throughout history
- 2:07:57that originally Adam and Eve had the
- 2:07:59power of telekinesis and then God
- 2:08:00restricted it to our bodies cuz when we
- 2:08:02make a choice, I can make a choice to
- 2:08:04think about something different. And
- 2:08:06that means that I'm using my will, which
- 2:08:07is an immaterial thing to move my body,
- 2:08:10right? So we do have some ability to do
- 2:08:12that. And they also think that the um
- 2:08:15that the saints um have that capacity as
- 2:08:19well to to do that god permitting. Okay.
- 2:08:22So all that being said but basically
- 2:08:24what it means is is that um because they
- 2:08:27don't have any bodies but in their minds
- 2:08:30they see all the stuff that's actually
- 2:08:31going on. Now their experience of seeing
- 2:08:33see for us physical things have a much
- 2:08:37stronger impression on us because we
- 2:08:39that's the way God just kind of designed
- 2:08:41us. Whereas with the angels, when they
- 2:08:43think of a concept, it's far more
- 2:08:46intense of an experience than we get
- 2:08:48even of a physical thing. And so they
- 2:08:50see those things with great clarity. And
- 2:08:52then their wills, they can actually
- 2:08:54move. Then if that if they want to
- 2:08:56affect us in some way and God permits it
- 2:08:59just by their wills, they can actually
- 2:09:01move it. It's like a form of
- 2:09:02telekinesis, but they can just move it
- 2:09:04God permitting. So they can apply their
- 2:09:06will to actually move those particular
- 2:09:07things.
- 2:09:08>> Can they see our demons? Yes, they see
- 2:09:12everything that is going on in the
- 2:09:13spiritual world.
- 2:09:14>> Can the demons see them?
- 2:09:17>> Uh, yes, they can.
- 2:09:20>> Do they communicate?
- 2:09:21>> Uh, not usually. Although once in a
- 2:09:24while they will where the and it's
- 2:09:26usually uh a one-way form of
- 2:09:28communication where the the angels are
- 2:09:31telling the demons to knock it off or
- 2:09:32you can't do this, you can't do that.
- 2:09:34Because even if the other angels the
- 2:09:35other the lower angels know there's no
- 2:09:37point trying to communicate with them
- 2:09:38because they're not going to listen
- 2:09:39because they're following the will of
- 2:09:41God. The only time that that seems to be
- 2:09:44different is in cases that protract of
- 2:09:48possession.
- 2:09:50There's six stages of liberation in
- 2:09:52stage with stage six is actually
- 2:09:54liberation. Stage five is called the
- 2:09:56ascendancy phase. And there's a part of
- 2:09:58that phase. It's in four parts. And
- 2:10:01there's a there's a part of that phase
- 2:10:03called the saints phase. And basically
- 2:10:06um sorry the that there's the saints
- 2:10:08phase. So that sometimes the saints will
- 2:10:10actually show up. I don't see them but
- 2:10:12the person who's possessed sees the
- 2:10:13saints etc. But then there's another
- 2:10:15part called the bargaining phase and
- 2:10:18basically that's just before the saint
- 2:10:19the saints phase and the bargaining
- 2:10:22phase is the demons know they're losing.
- 2:10:25they're gonna get they're that's they've
- 2:10:26lost. And so from time to time the
- 2:10:30person who's possessed will actually see
- 2:10:31the interchange. Um and so it's uh um
- 2:10:36it's very similar to the uh kind of like
- 2:10:38the interchange that Pope Leo saw of
- 2:10:42Satan approaching God and asking him
- 2:10:44give me a hundred years. Right? So it's
- 2:10:46a bargaining kind of a thing. So, uh,
- 2:10:49the the the demon will actually approach
- 2:10:52Christ because they know he's the guy
- 2:10:55that's got all the power. He said it,
- 2:10:57"All power on heaven and earth is given
- 2:10:58to me." So, they know he's the guy. They
- 2:11:00can't do anything without asking. So,
- 2:11:02that they'll actually go to him and ask,
- 2:11:03"Give me give me this power. Give me
- 2:11:06this permission to do X, Y, and Z." And
- 2:11:08he almost always says no. But the person
- 2:11:10who's possessed will see that
- 2:11:11interchange. So that's about the only
- 2:11:14time that I've recognized that they'll
- 2:11:15communicate with, you know, either the
- 2:11:18saints or Christ or whatever the case
- 2:11:19is. That's when that communication goes
- 2:11:20that direction. But otherwise that it's
- 2:11:23just a one-way communication.
- 2:11:25>> Oh, good. You know, I've never uh
- 2:11:30really realized the power of prayer
- 2:11:32until the the last couple weeks when I
- 2:11:37did another episode on this, but we
- 2:11:38would we've been talking about it all
- 2:11:40week. My last psychedelic experience.
- 2:11:41And I I said some of your deliverance
- 2:11:44prayers and had [sighs]
- 2:11:47>> intuitive experiences of demons leaving
- 2:11:49my body,
- 2:11:50>> right?
- 2:11:51>> And some of the things we experienced
- 2:11:53yesterday here um were extremely
- 2:11:57[clears throat]
- 2:11:58profound. [sighs]
- 2:12:05>> What is the power of the rosary?
- 2:12:09Um well historically St. Padre Peio used
- 2:12:12to refer to it as the weapon especially
- 2:12:14in spiritual warfare. But it was
- 2:12:17basically the rosary was a sacramental
- 2:12:19that was given to a particular saint in
- 2:12:21order so that um that those who would
- 2:12:25pray the rosary the that specific
- 2:12:28structure of prayer that God wanted
- 2:12:29people to start saying it was given by
- 2:12:31relating to a particular saint was given
- 2:12:34to them as a way of if you continually
- 2:12:36say this then it's going to bring about
- 2:12:39the intention for which you're going to
- 2:12:41say the rosary for example the battle of
- 2:12:44Leonto. So the the the church are there
- 2:12:47and they're they're basically they're uh
- 2:12:49the the Christians the Catholics are
- 2:12:51outnumbered significantly in the panto
- 2:12:54and so um at a certain point pas I
- 2:12:58orders that every all the Christians
- 2:13:00start praying the rosary for the
- 2:13:02intention of the Christians to um
- 2:13:05conquer the Turks. And you have to
- 2:13:06remember it was like I I think it was
- 2:13:08like 10 or 20 to one kind of outnumber
- 2:13:10kind of a situation. Um so they they
- 2:13:13they literally a large part of Christ
- 2:13:16and even the people the the soldiers at
- 2:13:18Leonto started saying the rosary asking
- 2:13:20our lady to invoke uh invoking her um uh
- 2:13:25you know intercession to conquer the
- 2:13:27Turks. They just destroyed the Turks in
- 2:13:30the process. So the point being is that
- 2:13:33the the rosary is one of those
- 2:13:34particular things that a number of the
- 2:13:36saints have said. For example, if
- 2:13:37there's a particular vice you're trying
- 2:13:38to overcome in your life, start saying
- 2:13:40the rosary every day for that intention
- 2:13:42and pretty quick it'll go away. And so
- 2:13:45it's one of those um sacramentals that
- 2:13:47was given to the church which has a
- 2:13:49pretty profound impact.
- 2:13:51>> So would you say the rosary should there
- 2:13:53always be an intention behind it or
- 2:13:54something?
- 2:13:55>> Yeah, you want Yeah, you want offered up
- 2:13:56for some intention, you know, like for
- 2:13:59example, given your state in life, you
- 2:14:00could offer it up for the spiritual
- 2:14:01wellbeing of your wife, your children,
- 2:14:03or whatever, for your protection. um or
- 2:14:05if there's particular problems you're
- 2:14:06dealing with in the in your corporation
- 2:14:08or whatever the case is, you can pray
- 2:14:09for related to start ameliating those or
- 2:14:11to um for the rosary for that intention.
- 2:14:14What are some other tools,
- 2:14:17prayers, tools that people can use for
- 2:14:20spiritual warfare? I mean, we we we we
- 2:14:22talked about
- 2:14:25at the beginning of this, you know, we
- 2:14:26had brought up the the the the
- 2:14:29UFO disclosure alien narrative and the
- 2:14:32possibility that the US government is
- 2:14:35trying to disprove and and uh the Bible
- 2:14:38and steal faith from people and and
- 2:14:42destroy Christianity. What what are and
- 2:14:45we we talked a lot about the battle in
- 2:14:47your mind and for your soul. I mean,
- 2:14:49what what are things that people can do
- 2:14:52>> um outside of voting?
- 2:14:54>> Voting [laughter] as some friends of
- 2:14:56mine always say, which we've kind of
- 2:14:58seen even in this last election and when
- 2:14:59the elections going forward is, you
- 2:15:01know, cuz I mean, I think people should
- 2:15:03vote, but this idea that you're going to
- 2:15:04solve the problem by voting. So, their
- 2:15:06phrase is you, we just have to vote
- 2:15:07harder, right? Well, that's just not
- 2:15:09going to ultimately change because this
- 2:15:11is a spiritual battle. The main thing
- 2:15:13for people to remember at least in rel
- 2:15:15so there's different categories of
- 2:15:16things that people can actually make use
- 2:15:17of but the primary thing is prayer and
- 2:15:20Christ actually laid out he said it in
- 2:15:23such a way so that to explicate a very
- 2:15:26specific kind of principle or a
- 2:15:28mechanics of of how the spiritual life
- 2:15:31actually works. So he says knock and it
- 2:15:33will be opened. So there's two things
- 2:15:36you have to do something if you want the
- 2:15:37door open. He's not normally just going
- 2:15:39to I mean once in a while he might open
- 2:15:40the door but eventually you've got to
- 2:15:42open up. You've got to do your part for
- 2:15:45the door to actually open. So the the
- 2:15:47first is knock and it'll be knock and
- 2:15:49the door will be opened. Um you know ask
- 2:15:51and you shall receive. So there's two
- 2:15:54one you got to do something but the
- 2:15:56second thing is what you ask for is what
- 2:15:58you're going to get. So the that
- 2:16:01principle, the mechanics of the of God
- 2:16:04is sitting there listening all the time
- 2:16:07to everything that you're doing and
- 2:16:08everything say because he sees it. And
- 2:16:10so he's listening. And I I've um I've
- 2:16:14actually had that uh experience even in
- 2:16:17session where mentally I just said to
- 2:16:18God the Father, punish this demon in a
- 2:16:20way that you've never punished someone
- 2:16:22before. And he just boom. It just it's
- 2:16:24just it's immediate. So you know that
- 2:16:27he's sitting there listening. But what
- 2:16:29you ask for is what you're going to get.
- 2:16:31And the principle is that prayer begets
- 2:16:34what it signifies. That's part of the
- 2:16:35spiritual mechanics. That means in the
- 2:16:38spiritual warfare, what you ask for is
- 2:16:41what you're going to get. And so an
- 2:16:43example in relationship to the UFO
- 2:16:46situation, there's a a book called The
- 2:16:48Alien Delusion by Gates. And in that
- 2:16:51book, it's a bit dated, but there's
- 2:16:53there's some key things in there which
- 2:16:54still even apply even today. And there's
- 2:16:56actually, you can go online and actually
- 2:16:58research this and there's historical
- 2:17:00situations where people have been being
- 2:17:03abducted by aliens and then they'll cry
- 2:17:06out Jesus's name. You know, Jesus, help
- 2:17:08me. That's the that's the prayer that
- 2:17:10they these are crying out and then all
- 2:17:12of a sudden boom, the the the uh aliens
- 2:17:15completely disappear, right? And so that
- 2:17:19that's an indicator that what they
- 2:17:21prayed for they got. Christ helped them.
- 2:17:23It's the same thing in the spiritual
- 2:17:25warfare. So if you ask your guardian
- 2:17:27angel, hey, you know, if you uh, you
- 2:17:29know, communicate with him and say, hey,
- 2:17:30look, I need you to protect me, protect
- 2:17:32my children, that's what he's going to
- 2:17:33do. If you ask Christ um or also even
- 2:17:36our lady, but if you ask Christ, you
- 2:17:37know, hey, um, you know, protect my
- 2:17:40children or protect me or there's this
- 2:17:42particular problem which I think is a
- 2:17:44spiritual issue. Can you bind any of the
- 2:17:46demons that are involved in that? Then,
- 2:17:48you know, can you please just bind them
- 2:17:50from being able to do anything in
- 2:17:51relationship to that? So, um, I actually
- 2:17:54put out a book called Deliverance
- 2:17:56Prayers for the Lady, which people
- 2:17:58shouldn't feel restricted to that book
- 2:18:00because a lot of times just asking
- 2:18:02Christ directly. Hey, this is what I
- 2:18:03need. That's what he's waiting for and
- 2:18:05then he'll give it to you. So, and then
- 2:18:07that's true about spiritual warfare.
- 2:18:09It's also true about just advancing in
- 2:18:10your own spiritual life and trying to
- 2:18:11become holier. But the book deliverance
- 2:18:14prayers with the Lady has some examples
- 2:18:15of, hey, this is how binding prayers
- 2:18:17work. this is how if you consecrate um
- 2:18:20things to our lady or to our lord then
- 2:18:22as a result of that they'll start
- 2:18:23protecting them and things of that sort.
- 2:18:24So that kind of gives an example of the
- 2:18:26things that they can actually do. The
- 2:18:28main thing that people have to do though
- 2:18:29is they have to understand how evil
- 2:18:31works and when they see the evil in
- 2:18:33their life they have to go and ask
- 2:18:35Christ for the specific things. So, for
- 2:18:38example, if you have a child who's like,
- 2:18:40"Oh, I think I'm I'm gay or I think I'm
- 2:18:42this," you have to ask, start asking
- 2:18:44Christ, um, you know, a give him the
- 2:18:47grace to see that that's not what the
- 2:18:49situation is or give him the grace to,
- 2:18:51you know, not want to be transgender or
- 2:18:52whatever the case, but also Christ block
- 2:18:55any demons that could be causing those
- 2:18:56kinds of thoughts in this kid's mind.
- 2:18:59Um, they if they start asking for the
- 2:19:01very specific things, that's when
- 2:19:03they're going to see the most effect
- 2:19:04because what you ask for is what you're
- 2:19:06going to get. So, do we do we do we talk
- 2:19:09to our angels or do we communic do do we
- 2:19:12communicate? Do we talk to them or
- 2:19:14>> Yeah, you can talk to them because they
- 2:19:15can hear they can when when when they
- 2:19:16they can they when they see it in their
- 2:19:19mind when we're talking verbally, but
- 2:19:21they can also if we direct our thoughts
- 2:19:23to them, they can hear our thoughts.
- 2:19:25>> So, we can pray to Christ,
- 2:19:29God,
- 2:19:31>> the Holy Spirit, Virgin Mary. We comm we
- 2:19:33we talk to angels.
- 2:19:35>> Yeah. How do we differentiate who we
- 2:19:37pray to? Why wouldn't we just always
- 2:19:40pray to God if he is the
- 2:19:44>> Well, it kind of has to do with this.
- 2:19:45Let me ask you this question. Let's say
- 2:19:47for the sake of argument, there was
- 2:19:49somebody who wasn't even you didn't even
- 2:19:51know and was outside your corporation,
- 2:19:53but they really wanted for you to do a
- 2:19:55particular thing for them. Um, would you
- 2:19:58be more likely to listen or grant it if
- 2:20:01they just came up to you and say, "Hey,
- 2:20:02Sean, would you do X?" Or would they do
- 2:20:04it if your favorite employee or some of
- 2:20:05the guy that or one of your like your
- 2:20:07wife they went to your wife and your
- 2:20:09wife wife says you know I think that's
- 2:20:10good I'll ask Sean and see what he
- 2:20:12thinks. When are you more likely to give
- 2:20:13it direct? Well okay that's because you
- 2:20:17are what you're manly about the
- 2:20:19situation. Okay but most people would do
- 2:20:23what they're telling. But if your wife
- 2:20:26if your wife asks you're like now the
- 2:20:28reason you're not you wouldn't do it is
- 2:20:30because the reason you like to direct is
- 2:20:31because you don't want people being
- 2:20:33obscious going around and trying to do
- 2:20:35that type of thing but with God the way
- 2:20:37it kind of works is is that yeah he'll
- 2:20:40listen to us. So the direct stuff does
- 2:20:42work. And so I'm not telling people they
- 2:20:44shouldn't do that. But at the other on
- 2:20:46the other hand, he set up certain saints
- 2:20:50and even our angels. He sent them up so
- 2:20:53that he wants them to us to go to them
- 2:20:57because because then they can go to him
- 2:20:59and ask him. And because he likes them
- 2:21:01more, he's more likely to give it.
- 2:21:05>> And that's how that's how basic
- 2:21:07intercession works. By the way, a lot of
- 2:21:09Protestants will say, "Well, the prayers
- 2:21:10of the saints can't pray for us." That's
- 2:21:11such a we believe even the Protestants
- 2:21:14believe in intercessory prayer. It's
- 2:21:16just who who can do it is the question
- 2:21:18because they pray for other people, too.
- 2:21:20So, they're interceding for other
- 2:21:21people. Um, and so the question is is
- 2:21:24can the saints do it? Well, there's
- 2:21:25nothing in scripture that says that they
- 2:21:26can't.
- 2:21:33Let's talk a little bit more about the
- 2:21:34spiritual battle. Mhm.
- 2:21:38>> Is the battle happening right now
- 2:21:40between angels and demons or is this
- 2:21:42something that's coming?
- 2:21:44>> So they they don't fight each other
- 2:21:45direct well they do kind of fight each
- 2:21:47other directly but it's um they're so
- 2:21:50then after their fall there was a short
- 2:21:53kind of period of time in which they
- 2:21:55still had they were still in the
- 2:21:57presence of each other. the the ones who
- 2:21:59had fallen and the ones who were
- 2:22:00faithful and the ones who had the
- 2:22:01botific vision, the ones who were damper
- 2:22:03in this presence of each other. At a
- 2:22:06certain point, St. Michael, who's the
- 2:22:08guardian angel of the elect, that's his
- 2:22:10assigned task. He's the guardian angel
- 2:22:12of the elect, God gave him the power and
- 2:22:15told him, separate them and and so that
- 2:22:19they can't they can't be engaging this
- 2:22:21battle with each other anymore. And so
- 2:22:23that's and we know about that separation
- 2:22:26because it's right in scripture where
- 2:22:28the the the um Lazar the the the Lazarus
- 2:22:32the guy that's um the the guy that's
- 2:22:34damned says hey can you send Lazarus
- 2:22:37down to tell my brother or you know can
- 2:22:40and he says well first of all there
- 2:22:41can't we can't cross the abyss right
- 2:22:43there's this separation and the only
- 2:22:45time it's ever allowed to to go to cross
- 2:22:47that is God has to allow it. Okay. So,
- 2:22:51we know that that's actually happened.
- 2:22:52So, there's this this kind of this um
- 2:22:55this actual abyss. That means that in
- 2:22:58the spiritual warfare, the angels and
- 2:23:00the saints aren't necessarily battling
- 2:23:01each other. And the reason being is
- 2:23:03because there's this thing called
- 2:23:04prolation. Prelation is the ability of
- 2:23:07one thing who's higher. A prellet is
- 2:23:10able to command a lower one to do
- 2:23:12something. All the angels in heaven and
- 2:23:14all the saints in heaven have preation
- 2:23:15in relationship to the demons. So all
- 2:23:18they have to do is command them leave
- 2:23:19and they boom it has an immediate
- 2:23:21effect. So they don't sit there and
- 2:23:23battle back and forth. It has this
- 2:23:24immediate effect. That means that the
- 2:23:27battle now is primarily in us in this
- 2:23:31world in our minds primarily in our
- 2:23:33bodies where that's where the primary
- 2:23:35field of the battle is that's actually
- 2:23:37occurring the primary theater as you
- 2:23:39they would say.
- 2:23:41And so basically what it is is that um
- 2:23:45then that means that there's two
- 2:23:46components to the spiritual warfare.
- 2:23:48One, we have to get our guardian angels
- 2:23:50and this and the saints and and God and
- 2:23:52more involved in our lives so that they
- 2:23:54drive them out. So there's that. But
- 2:23:56then also we can combat them to leave as
- 2:24:00well. And so um we can actually command
- 2:24:04the demons, you know, cuz Christ gave us
- 2:24:05the example, Satan, get behind me,
- 2:24:07right? So we can tell the de the demons
- 2:24:10get away from me. And because we have
- 2:24:13rights over our body, they have to
- 2:24:16respect the natural law in relationship
- 2:24:17to us. And so if we're persistent,
- 2:24:19they'll leave.
- 2:24:23>> Do angels kill?
- 2:24:25I read somewhere that a single angel
- 2:24:28killed 180,000 in one day.
- 2:24:31Uh yes in the sense of um there has been
- 2:24:35some his that my understanding is is
- 2:24:38that's the part of the mechanism in the
- 2:24:40Old Testament.
- 2:24:43They can but they [clears throat] uh
- 2:24:45they only do it when God tells them to
- 2:24:47do it.
- 2:24:49And it's the same kind of a thing in
- 2:24:50which you saw in the Old Testament God
- 2:24:52telling telling the Jews in the Old
- 2:24:54Testament, hey, you got to wipe out this
- 2:24:56whole group of people. And the reason
- 2:24:58being is is because even the children
- 2:25:00and and to us that's just pretty
- 2:25:02jarring. But the part of the reason for
- 2:25:04that is because [clears throat] you have
- 2:25:06to wipe out the adults because they're
- 2:25:08doing the evil and they're going to
- 2:25:09cause evil and you're going to get
- 2:25:10sucked into the evil. The problem is is
- 2:25:13that the the demons that are afflicting
- 2:25:15the parents are also start affecting the
- 2:25:16kids and get attached to the kids. And
- 2:25:18so even if you let the kids leave,
- 2:25:20you're going to have a problem with it
- 2:25:21later. And so that's why it was done in
- 2:25:23the Old Testament. Um and I'm not
- 2:25:25suggesting that we do that as a form of
- 2:25:26warfare today. It's a it's a different
- 2:25:28kind of a dynamic, but that's actually
- 2:25:30why. But the so in the past, the angels
- 2:25:32could kill entire segments of
- 2:25:34population, God permitting.
- 2:25:38>> You brought up Michael several times.
- 2:25:41What What about Gabriel?
- 2:25:45>> So, Gabriel's assigned function was to
- 2:25:47announce to announce the um the coming
- 2:25:49of Christ to actually the incarnation.
- 2:25:52So, that was his uh one assigned task.
- 2:25:54And so that's why he actually appears to
- 2:25:56our lady to um to announce this is what
- 2:26:00the actually that's what he was actually
- 2:26:01created for outside that context. So
- 2:26:04each not each angel but a lot of the
- 2:26:06angels have a primary assigned task for
- 2:26:09which they were given and then they have
- 2:26:10a secondary task that's usually
- 2:26:12connected to that. And so the other
- 2:26:14thing that Gabriel actually can do too
- 2:26:15is to um to encourage us and to get us
- 2:26:18to be more devoted to Christ.
- 2:26:22What about Raphael? So in the Old
- 2:26:24Testament, of course, he's the one that
- 2:26:26heals. So his that he can um you can
- 2:26:29invoke him for like people who like
- 2:26:31might have cancer, whatever the case is,
- 2:26:32ask for him to actually heal you.
- 2:26:34>> Are there any other significant?
- 2:26:37>> Well, the one other thing in
- 2:26:38relationship to Raphael, so also Raphael
- 2:26:41um sequestered, he's one of the nemesis
- 2:26:44of Asmode who's the demon of
- 2:26:47homosexuality and men. He's also a demon
- 2:26:49of impurity. But in the Old Testament,
- 2:26:51he sequesters him in the desert. And so
- 2:26:54you can ask St. um Raphael if you're
- 2:26:56dealing with that particular demon. Um
- 2:26:58but you can ask St. Raphael to be the
- 2:27:00one to help you in that regard.
- 2:27:04[clears throat]
- 2:27:06>> What does the final battle look like?
- 2:27:11And basically uh okay so the structure
- 2:27:15of it is
- 2:27:16um the human beings morals will implode
- 2:27:20so badly that and there will be wars and
- 2:27:24rumors of wars and all this other stuff
- 2:27:25to such a degree that um at that point
- 2:27:29the antichrist shows up and presents
- 2:27:30himself as the solution to human human
- 2:27:32beings problems and so and he gains
- 2:27:36significant control over the human
- 2:27:37population but there's a a part of it
- 2:27:40that he actually doesn't when he get
- 2:27:42shows up on the scene then um then
- 2:27:45there's kind of stages that actually
- 2:27:46start to happen. There's still battling
- 2:27:48that's kind of going on on a spiritual
- 2:27:49level but then Enoch and Elijah show up.
- 2:27:53They're put to death by the Antichrist.
- 2:27:55Then at a certain point St. Michael
- 2:27:57shows up but he doesn't actually um he
- 2:27:59battles with the Antichrist but he
- 2:28:01doesn't actually put the Antichrist to
- 2:28:02death. And in the end Christ is the one
- 2:28:05who shows up and puts the Antichrist to
- 2:28:07death. Will Gabriel come back to
- 2:28:09announce the second coming?
- 2:28:11>> Uh, not directly is my understanding.
- 2:28:17>> And when it's over, when we go to heaven
- 2:28:20or hell,
- 2:28:21>> right?
- 2:28:21>> Are there levels to each?
- 2:28:23>> There is.
- 2:28:24>> What do those look like?
- 2:28:25>> So in hell, the level that you have in
- 2:28:27hell, which is inverted over, what is it
- 2:28:30in heaven? The lower you are in hell,
- 2:28:31which basically means the more is based
- 2:28:33upon how depraved you are, how evil you
- 2:28:35actually are. But that evil then also
- 2:28:38gives you more power in relationship to
- 2:28:40the other people in hell. So that's why
- 2:28:42even Satanists are doing a lot of evil
- 2:28:44things in order to raise their raise
- 2:28:46their place in hell. And technically
- 2:28:47speaking, they're lowering it. Um but
- 2:28:50that's so they're there is based upon
- 2:28:52how evil whereas in heaven it's how good
- 2:28:54you are, which basically means the more
- 2:28:57approximate or the more you like God,
- 2:28:59the better you actually are as a human
- 2:29:01being, as a person or as an angel, the
- 2:29:02more whole you are. um then that means
- 2:29:05that you'll have that place up in
- 2:29:06heaven. So there's different levels in
- 2:29:07heaven.
- 2:29:08>> What kind of what are the levels? Um so
- 2:29:12well the levels are actually based upon
- 2:29:14um the primarily the sanctifying grace
- 2:29:16that's in your soul. St. Paul refers to
- 2:29:19uh in uh in his uh letters he refers to
- 2:29:22the fact that the sanctifying grace is
- 2:29:24basically God indwelling in us in our
- 2:29:26soul. It's a qualitative change. So how
- 2:29:29much we have him indwelling in us
- 2:29:31determines where we're at in heaven. Now
- 2:29:34some of that is broken down into the
- 2:29:35nine choirs of angels. So we're kind of
- 2:29:37in that. But there's also like different
- 2:29:40parts of heaven. So that they call them
- 2:29:42parts. But it basically just means that
- 2:29:44there's certain people that will enjoy
- 2:29:45certain things more than others based
- 2:29:47upon the kinds of virtues that they
- 2:29:49achieved in this life or the good
- 2:29:50actions that they did in this life.
- 2:29:52You'll just find certain things more
- 2:29:53enjoyable uh in heaven. All of us will
- 2:29:56have the beatotific vision that is to
- 2:29:59see God face to face. And basically what
- 2:30:01that is
- 2:30:04when you actually look at the um the uh
- 2:30:07how the saints talk about the structure
- 2:30:09of this beatotific vision. St. Paul
- 2:30:11talks about I will see him face to face
- 2:30:14and I will know myself as I am known. So
- 2:30:16you actually see God inside God's mind.
- 2:30:20You actually see him. And so the way
- 2:30:22that works is um in order for that to
- 2:30:25happen there can't be any medium between
- 2:30:27us and him. And so what he does is he
- 2:30:30takes him he infuses in our minds this
- 2:30:33um for us because we can't see him right
- 2:30:35now even though he's here. So what God
- 2:30:37does is he infuses us another what they
- 2:30:40call the light of glory. He infuses in
- 2:30:42us. He strengthens our mind so that all
- 2:30:44of a sudden everything can just peel
- 2:30:46back. We're able to see spiritual
- 2:30:48realities in what they actually are. And
- 2:30:51then but that lumin gloria basically
- 2:30:53means um that he infuses that in our
- 2:30:56mind and at the same time he presses his
- 2:30:58very nature on our minds. So we see him
- 2:31:02literally face to face we see him. That
- 2:31:05means that once you see him you can see
- 2:31:08everything he causes everything that
- 2:31:10he's done all the glory and his in the
- 2:31:12created order all that you're able to
- 2:31:14see it. We can't comprehend it all at
- 2:31:16once but we can kind of look at it from
- 2:31:18different features. And so that's what
- 2:31:19the heaven is like. is like spending all
- 2:31:21our time looking at this from a variety
- 2:31:23of different points of view. The holer
- 2:31:25you are, the more illuminant glory you
- 2:31:27get. And that means the more you
- 2:31:29understand God and the better you see
- 2:31:32his glory and his goodness. And as a
- 2:31:34result of that, the happier you actually
- 2:31:35are. So how happy you are is how whole
- 2:31:38you are and how good of a life that you
- 2:31:40led in this life.
- 2:31:43So if we both die today and go to heaven
- 2:31:45and we're at different levels, will we
- 2:31:47be able will we be able to interact?
- 2:31:49>> Yeah. We'll have all those people in
- 2:31:51heaven have perfectly interaction and so
- 2:31:54let's just say you get a higher place in
- 2:31:55heaven.
- 2:31:56>> So it's a state of mind. A level of
- 2:31:57heaven is a state of mind kind of.
- 2:32:00>> Kind of. Yeah. It's a state in the sense
- 2:32:02>> in a different location.
- 2:32:04>> Exactly. Exactly. So it just means that
- 2:32:07like say you're higher in heaven. It
- 2:32:08just means you understand more and you
- 2:32:10have a higher degree of happiness than I
- 2:32:12have. I'm still perfectly happy, but
- 2:32:14there can be degrees of perfection. And
- 2:32:16so the the people in heaven have
- 2:32:18different and there's no envy when I see
- 2:32:20you enjoying the beatific vision. Let's
- 2:32:22just say for the sake of argument that
- 2:32:23you have a higher I'll actually see how
- 2:32:26good that is and how God and I'll take
- 2:32:28delight in seeing the fact that you have
- 2:32:30a higher place than I do. So there's no
- 2:32:33envy, there's no nothing. Do you think
- 2:32:35we will interact with
- 2:32:38relatives here on earth after we pass?
- 2:32:42>> Uh yes, we actually do. I mean I that it
- 2:32:45it depends like so if our if our
- 2:32:48relatives actually make it to heaven
- 2:32:50then there is some interaction. I I'll
- 2:32:51give you a couple of examples that I've
- 2:32:53had just recently. My father died about
- 2:32:553 years ago. Um in fact next week it'll
- 2:32:58be 3 years next week. And uh I was very
- 2:33:01had a very strong good relationship with
- 2:33:04my father and um in fact he's the guy
- 2:33:07that just taught me hey look real men
- 2:33:09don't do this or that you know that type
- 2:33:10of thing but
- 2:33:11>> [clears throat]
- 2:33:11>> um but anyways so when he passed because
- 2:33:15we I worked as a mechanic with him twice
- 2:33:19I've come across a mechanical thing that
- 2:33:21I couldn't solve. So, I literally just
- 2:33:25said, "Hey, Dan, how do I how do I solve
- 2:33:27this problem
- 2:33:29instantaneously
- 2:33:30all of a sudden, boom, I get this
- 2:33:32clarity and see all you have to do is
- 2:33:34put the wrench on this direction."
- 2:33:36Literally, I'm like, even though I had
- 2:33:38been working to try to for this thing
- 2:33:40out for 45 minutes, boom, the thing came
- 2:33:42right off. I've had two experiences of
- 2:33:44that with my father. So, I think there
- 2:33:45is an actual interaction. Um there's
- 2:33:49also uh numerous people who talk about
- 2:33:51like I know one exorcist whose mother
- 2:33:54was a very holy woman and during his
- 2:33:56sessions he'll actually call his mother
- 2:33:58down and say hey come down and be
- 2:34:00present to this and the person who's
- 2:34:02possessed can see the mother.
- 2:34:05So there they do we do have interaction
- 2:34:07with them. It's just it's a it's a
- 2:34:09one-way kind of a communication. We can
- 2:34:10communicate with them. They can do
- 2:34:12certain things with us. There are very
- 2:34:14very rare circumstances where they
- 2:34:17appear to people, but I've never seen an
- 2:34:19authentic case in my life. I've just
- 2:34:20read about them.
- 2:34:24>> Do we see our direct lineage when we
- 2:34:26die?
- 2:34:27>> Yeah.
- 2:34:28>> Isn't everybody our lineage though? If
- 2:34:30we all came from Adam and Eve,
- 2:34:31>> that's right. We we'll know it all.
- 2:34:33We'll see it.
- 2:34:35>> We'll see what
- 2:34:35>> we'll actually see the entire lineage of
- 2:34:38who both up and down the the actual
- 2:34:40line.
- 2:34:47Did Christ have a guardian angel?
- 2:34:50So that is a question which St. Thomas
- 2:34:52Aquinus asks and then after him it was
- 2:34:55pretty much the general belief of the
- 2:34:57the theologians and saints throughout
- 2:34:59through after that and basically uh the
- 2:35:03we have a guardian angel because we're
- 2:35:05in the process of trying to save our
- 2:35:07souls and get to heaven, right? And so
- 2:35:09they guard us so that we can actually
- 2:35:11get there. Um so that state and of the
- 2:35:15process of getting there um they
- 2:35:18historically the saints from the
- 2:35:19petristics on call that the wayf farer
- 2:35:21state or wayfarers were on the process
- 2:35:23of we're on the way to getting there. So
- 2:35:26the the difference though is is that
- 2:35:28Christ even though he was alive in this
- 2:35:29life he had the bigotific vision from
- 2:35:32the time of his conception according to
- 2:35:34the entire tradition of the church. And
- 2:35:36that's one of the reasons why we know
- 2:35:38that he had this because of the fact
- 2:35:39that um he would uh you know he would
- 2:35:43actually talk about I and the father are
- 2:35:44one. He could actually see it. But he
- 2:35:46would also say things like um you would
- 2:35:48see in scripture Christ knew their
- 2:35:50thoughts cuz he could see it his human
- 2:35:53mind could see it in his in his uh in
- 2:35:56his divine nature. He could see because
- 2:35:59God was causing them.
- 2:36:01So he could actually see those things.
- 2:36:02So that's one of So we know that he had
- 2:36:05the actual um beotivific vision. That
- 2:36:09means that he's not a wayfairer. He's
- 2:36:11already his human nature was already
- 2:36:14already in union with God, which is the
- 2:36:17final goal. And so he wasn't on the way.
- 2:36:19He was already at the end. And so St.
- 2:36:21Thomas says he didn't actually have a a
- 2:36:23guardian angel. It didn't mean that
- 2:36:25there weren't guardian angels who
- 2:36:26assisted him at time at times. It didn't
- 2:36:29also mean that he wouldn't necessarily
- 2:36:30in his divine nature command certain
- 2:36:32angels to kind of keep certain things at
- 2:36:34bay so that he could do certain things.
- 2:36:36So for example, you would read in the
- 2:36:38scriptures how um the Jews would try and
- 2:36:40lay hold of them and he would just walk
- 2:36:41right through them, right? And so the
- 2:36:43angels can kind of block them from being
- 2:36:45able to do that. So uh the the Jews from
- 2:36:48seizing him. So there was um so his and
- 2:36:50he had he actually mentions this to
- 2:36:52Nicodemus. He says, you know, you're
- 2:36:54going to see the angels ascending and
- 2:36:57descending upon the son of man because
- 2:36:59all the angels in heaven knew who Christ
- 2:37:01was and they knew that he um also being
- 2:37:05God was who to whom they must serve. And
- 2:37:08that's also when he said all power in
- 2:37:10heaven and earth will be given to me. So
- 2:37:11even the angels in heaven obey him and
- 2:37:13submit to him. So they they serve him.
- 2:37:15And so um we know that uh that they so
- 2:37:19he didn't have a guardian angel, but
- 2:37:21they all served him.
- 2:37:23>> [sighs]
- 2:37:25>> Interesting.
- 2:37:30>> Last question.
- 2:37:32What is divine mercy?
- 2:37:36So mercy is defined as loosening the
- 2:37:39bonds of justice for the good of the
- 2:37:42individual. So in other words,
- 2:37:44somebody's done something bad. Now
- 2:37:47justice normally being served would
- 2:37:50indicate that the person should have to
- 2:37:52um perform uh to suffer a proportionate
- 2:37:54evil in relationship to it. It's called
- 2:37:55the lex tion. So the law of the talents
- 2:37:58which is you know what you which is
- 2:38:01actually in the old testament. So you
- 2:38:02know an eye for an eye or tooth for a
- 2:38:04tooth. So you have the punishment has to
- 2:38:05fit the crime and it has to be
- 2:38:07proportionate. Okay. But a lot of times
- 2:38:10that's not good for people, [snorts]
- 2:38:12right? And especially with us as human
- 2:38:13beings when we're stupid and we realize,
- 2:38:15"Oh man, I did something really bad." If
- 2:38:16we suffered the effects of all of our
- 2:38:18sins all the time, we would just be
- 2:38:20brutalized from the process. So what God
- 2:38:23does is he loosens the bonds of justice.
- 2:38:25In other words, he doesn't apply the
- 2:38:28full punishment of the law because it's
- 2:38:31better for our spiritual well-being in
- 2:38:33the process. And so his mercy, he grants
- 2:38:36it to us because it's a manifestation of
- 2:38:39his goodness. St. Augustine says it's
- 2:38:41the per it's the greatest manifestation
- 2:38:43of how good God is that he actually
- 2:38:45doesn't punish us that he actually let
- 2:38:48doesn't extend the full extent of the
- 2:38:50punishment to us for that. Now mercy is
- 2:38:52we get mercy for two reasons and this we
- 2:38:54know from the Old Testament. We also
- 2:38:55know it from the New Testament that the
- 2:38:58mercy is for the stupid. You know you're
- 2:39:01dumb. Okay? and so I'm going to cut you
- 2:39:02some slack. Right? But he doesn't do it
- 2:39:04all the time. Once in a while he'll let
- 2:39:06us kind of suffer our stupidity so we
- 2:39:08clue in. Okay. But then the other one is
- 2:39:11when we're sorry for it. And the reason
- 2:39:13his mercy he gives it to us because
- 2:39:15we're contract. We're sorry for what
- 2:39:17we've done is because of the fact that
- 2:39:19the sorrow when we look at the evil that
- 2:39:22we've done the we sorrow in that evil.
- 2:39:26Whereas when we committed the sin, we
- 2:39:28were focusing on the good we were
- 2:39:29getting out of it and that was
- 2:39:31disordered. So when he sees that order
- 2:39:33within the soul that look, I've done
- 2:39:34this the I've done a bad thing and that
- 2:39:38you're sorry to him because you've
- 2:39:39offended him. When he sees that sorrow,
- 2:39:43then he realizes that's the order that I
- 2:39:45was looking for that you that that the
- 2:39:47soul is rightly ordered. And as a result
- 2:39:49that he communicates to them his mercy
- 2:39:51and that means he loosens the bonds of
- 2:39:53justice and they're not bound by it. And
- 2:39:55so God's mercy is for the stupid and the
- 2:39:57contrite. And so divine mercy is
- 2:39:59specifically God's mercy
- 2:40:02is what she said in the Old Testament.
- 2:40:04Look, if you're sorry in the New
- 2:40:05Testament, if you're sorry for your
- 2:40:07sins, this is what I'm going to give
- 2:40:08you. So there's a certain sense in which
- 2:40:10it's also his mercy is his justice.
- 2:40:12Because he is going to be absolutely
- 2:40:14true to his word, which is just, that if
- 2:40:17you meet these requirements, I will
- 2:40:19loosen the bonds of justice, which is
- 2:40:21his mercy. But if you're not, then I'm
- 2:40:23not going to. So there's a a justice
- 2:40:25element of it. But the point being is is
- 2:40:27that his mercy um is something which uh
- 2:40:31is he desires for us to be under his
- 2:40:33mercy, which basically means he desires
- 2:40:35that right over the soul for us to be
- 2:40:36sorry for the the sins that we've
- 2:40:37committed. Um and then he basically then
- 2:40:40at that point he'll forgive us our sins.
- 2:40:43Um and then he uh then he'll also confer
- 2:40:45to us good things because of the fact
- 2:40:47that we're sorry. What's interesting is
- 2:40:50because God's outside of time and he
- 2:40:54sees the totality of time all totality
- 2:40:57of time all the time and all at once. So
- 2:41:01he sees what you've done in the past and
- 2:41:02he sees what you're doing now. That
- 2:41:04means that even though he has loosened
- 2:41:06the bonds of justice with you in the
- 2:41:07order of time for all eternity that is
- 2:41:10for and is eternal now he he he will see
- 2:41:13the offense that you committed.
- 2:41:15This is why Christ dying upon the cross
- 2:41:18has an infinite effect because it
- 2:41:21extends for the rest of eternity. That's
- 2:41:23why it says in the Psalms, his mercy
- 2:41:24endures forever. Even though he's he
- 2:41:27will look at your offense for all
- 2:41:29eternity, nevertheless, he also sees
- 2:41:31your your uh your contrness and then you
- 2:41:34will place yourself under his mercy and
- 2:41:36then that's what he lives you let you
- 2:41:38live under even though he sees it for
- 2:41:40all eternity. So he's literally merciful
- 2:41:42even to the people in heaven. The only
- 2:41:44ones who didn't get to enjoy his actual
- 2:41:46mercy are the angels who are always
- 2:41:47faithful because they never committed
- 2:41:48anything evil. Um, but the the rest of
- 2:41:51us, his mercy endures forever.
- 2:41:55>> Beautiful.
- 2:41:57Well, Father,
- 2:41:59I feel really good about this interview.
- 2:42:01>> Good.
- 2:42:02>> Would you like to end it in a prayer?
- 2:42:03>> Sure.
- 2:42:05>> Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy
- 2:42:06Spirit. Amen.
- 2:42:08Jesus, we give you thanks for everything
- 2:42:09that you have given us during this and
- 2:42:11for all of the knowledge that you have
- 2:42:13communicated through divine revelation
- 2:42:15which has come down through us through
- 2:42:16the tradition of the Catholic Church and
- 2:42:18that we have actually been able to make
- 2:42:20use of. We also thank you for all of the
- 2:42:23graces that you have given to all of us.
- 2:42:25And we ask you to continue to give us
- 2:42:27the grace so that we may be faithful to
- 2:42:29your call to become holier, but also
- 2:42:33that we may be willing to follow the
- 2:42:35truth regardless of the personal cost.
- 2:42:38And in that then, God, we will finally
- 2:42:40arrive at you who is truth itself. In
- 2:42:43the name of the Father, Son, and Holy
- 2:42:44Spirit. Amen.
- 2:42:46>> Amen.
- 2:42:46>> Right. Well, father, I hope the next
- 2:42:49time I see us, uh, fly fishing on the
